Just saying but if and when Mark Hamill decides to write his own Star Wars spin-off to give Luke Skywalker an ending he deserves, I’ll be ever the more ready to watch the heck outta it even if it means I’m the only viewer giving him his $20million box office.
And I’ll watch it all the same even if it means shitty fx from low budget reasons and Luke Skywalker changing his name to becoming “Look Skyworker” — a “Jedie” like his father before him because of copyright issues.
And I’ll watch it if it also means I get forget that this sequel even happened.
So fuck Disney’s poor writing of Luke, because they clearly didn’t understand the character more than Hamill did. They are capitalist pigs wanting to bring the limelight to the new characters but not being able to figure out a better way of doing that than destroying the last OT character.
So, unless they find some way of bringing him back in episode 9, no, I do not forgive them. And no, I will not forget this shitass ending they gave to one of the best SW characters ever, because hell he didn’t deserve this. And Mark Hamill knows this himself.
And you know what, I’ll be ever the more ready to see Mark’s version of the movie overtake TLJ’s box office because I’m certain that I’m not the only fan unhappy.
What are the odds but I’m just saying, food for thought @ Mark Hamill if you’re out there.
