(og screenshot’s/cover under text!) Why hello there to my tumblr followers, it’s been a awhile /silly

ANYWAYS!!! Guess who recently finished the EVA franchise minus the rebuilds and has been in a horrible chokehold over it, this anime ruined my life but hey at least its intro theme is nice……

Well, I wanted to draw some stuff for it! All together these pieces took exactly 48 hours and 20 minutes… with the cover-piece taking ~35(?) of those hours. These were… very, VERY time costly safe to say LOL,,, I am super, SUPER proud of how the cover came out though, everything on it was drawn, colored, rendered, edited, whatever, BY HAND stroke by stroke (as you can see below)

The text, the lineart, the shadows, the colors, the snowflakes on the bio and Shuri, EVERYTHING was done by hand, it was horribly time costly but it did come out very, VERY well in the end I would say (fun fact! I also didn’t originally have the textless version of the cover, and I had to trace all of the lineart for bio’s tophalf by just guessing what line when where and what the hell was going on /silly)

this was a very, very hard project to do all together, but it was also a really nice learning experience too, I’m happy i did it that’s for sure :3!

idk if it’s just me but the whole “which atla kid in the gaang is the most mature” debates can get redundant and kind of exhausting at times. they’re kids. they’re multifaceted characters. they’re mature in some departments and immature in others. they have their strengths and weaknesses. also they’re kids lol.

#listen this is a probably a nothing burger lmao I’m just deep in my thoughts about what it means to be mature #because when talking about the cast what type of maturity are we focusing on yknow?#is it emotional maturity? spiritual maturity? social? maturity when taking up certain roles such as leadership?#and everyone has a different idea of what it means to be mature even in personality #take a comedic relief/goofy character for example #some may say this character is immature because of their goofy behavior #others might point out that being a jokester and taking the role of comedic relief doesn’t mean said character is immature #maybe my frustration just stems from people trying to assign parental roles to these tweens/teens lol #which I feel like can be an interesting conversation if we’re discussing #the traumas of losing a parent(s) at a young age and being forced to take up so much responsibility due to circumstances #but idk usually I see a lot of these conversations go sideways I guess #my conclusion #they’re just kids man they shouldn’t be fighting a war #they should be at the after school program #get aang to the computer lab now and make him a webkinz account #atla #text

Yes, people who don’t take it personally when you don’t reply are great, but like, we all understand that that’s a grain of salt thing, right? Like if you ghost your friend back-to-back-to-back when they reach out to you, they’re going to eventually give up. We know that, right?

If you don’t reply multiple consecutive times when someone messages you trying to have a conversation (not just sending a random thought/meme/something casual), you are ghosting that person, and it’s not on them to keep using their energy to reach out to you.

(AND before you come for me just know I say this as someone who is a notoriously bad texter, and who is super bad for remembering to reply to texts.)

i don’t know if this is a hot take or not but the rr/b skew more neutral than evil to me
