Why the fuck did this inspire a drabble

MC watched with wide eyes as Beel downed burger after burger, then looked down at their own food in confusion.

“Beel?”

“Mm?”

“You enjoy sustaining yourself, do you not?”

“Mhm.” Beel took a sip of his milkshake and nodded. “I’m always hungry, and it helps that food tastes good too.”

“Taste?” MC tilted their head. “What’s that?”

Beel paused, then placed his milkshake back down on the table and gave MC a confused frown. “You… don’t know what taste is..? The thing you feel when you bite into food..? Some things are sweet, some things are sour…”

“Nope!” MC said with a shake of their head. “How do you taste?”

“With your tongue.”

“Oh,” MC stuck out their tongue and attempted to look down at it. “I thimk mine ith bwoken.”

“Uhhhh… here,” Beel took out his DDD and showed MC a diagram of a normal human tongue, which MC studied intently. “This stuff on the tongue is how humans taste.”

“Ohhhhh,” MC put their tongue back in their mouth, and set their brow. Focusing on the photo and feeling their tongue warp and twist, the texture changing just slightly as taste buds crawled across its surface. Finally, MC stuck their tongue out again. “Let me try food now!”

“Hmmm,” Beel looked at the cookies Luke had sent over, then shrugged. “Here,”

Luke had said that one container had oatmeal raisin cookies, while the other had chocolate chip cookies. After popping a chocolate chip cookie in his mouth and enjoying the heavenly flavour, Beel held out the container.

“Try this.”

MC gleefully plucked a cookie from the Tupperware, then took a bite. Their eyes widened to the size of grim as they suddenly stopped chewing and seemed to just be holding the cookie in their mouth for a moment.

“Beel…”

“Yeah, MC?”

“I’ve been missing out on tasting food for months..?”

“…maybe?”

Tears began to pool at the corner of the exchange student’s eyes as they looked up at their friend. “I don’t know why I’m about to start leaking… this is so good…”

“D-don’t cry,” Beel held out a tissue, which MC used to wipe their eyes as they devoured their cookie. “Here, try these.”

MC took an oatmeal raisin cookie with just as much excitement, then took a bite.

They chewed, a smile on their face…

Then spat the cookie out.

“That tastes like sadness.”

And then I did??? And then he tells me he thought about doing it with a guy and asked if „everything’s still there“???? I fucking said that I’m not interested in guys (which is kinda a lie but idk I wanted him gone at that point;;;) And THEN HE FUCKIMG ADKS IF HE COULD TOUCH „IT“?!?!? I just told him to leave which he luckily did…… what do i doooooo

OK, so I’ve actually thought about this before and i’m betting you aren’t going to like what i have to say. sorry

i don’t really care for queen chrysalis. there isn’t really much there to care about. she has like more lore in the comics, but it’s literally just that she’s evil just cause. that’s all of her lore. I guess, judging her purely by aesthetics, and by her function as a villain, she’s kind of cool? I guess? I like evil woman as much as the next girl, but evil woman with less than zero substance? idk man, i’ll probably just rewatch Fullmetal alchemist instead. 

I guess I don’t really care for cadence either. I know she’s got more going on in the comics, but I’m not aware. she kind of seems more like a living plot device than a character? and I’m really not a fan of her design. Like at all. Why is she shaped like that? 

 I guess since I don’t really like either of them, I guess sure? They can have each other. No skin off my back. No horse in the game . I suppose them being together fixes the problem of the princess of love being a hetero monogamy stan
