Heyo, I’m Mouthy (@mouthydraws), welcome to my funny pill blog! I’m an autistic artist with a special interest in pharmacology, specially psychiatric medications, more specifically antidepressants, even more specifically SSRIs. SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) are a class of antidepressants used to treat a variety of mental illnesses, most notably anxiety disorders and depression. They’re my absolute favorite class and the reason I’m currently in college for pharmacology. Prozac’s history in particular is my favorite to read about, so expect plenty of him and his history lol.

What are personified pills?

Personified pills are, as the name suggests, personifications of medications. Each aspect of the character, from their design to their personality, is carefully chosen based on historical, chemical, and pharmacological aspects of the actual medication. I enjoy drawing the characters in scenes that reference the real-life history of said drug.

Are these your OCs?

Yes. While I don’t own the idea of personifying medications, the designs and characters themselves do belong to me. You’re welcome to design your own personifications, or use mine with credit!

Why are they animals/furries?

Each class of drugs is a different animal species, I think it adds a lot to the characters, and specific animals are chosen in the same way every other aspect of the characters are chosen. Having the characters be animals also allows for clear distinctions between drug classes. I don’t enjoy drawing humans, but even if I did, I’d still keep them as animals.

Do you have a personification for *insert medication here*

All of my personifications are on my Toyhouse (@mouthydraws) under the ‘Medications’ folder. It can take some background knowledge on the class of the drug/possible subclasses or categories to find some of them, so I’ll also be uploading all of them here and using tags to make them easier to locate. If you have a specific medication you want to see, feel free to let me know!

Will you personify illegal drugs?

Given that most illegal drugs either didn’t start out as illegal or are only illegal in certain forms/circumstances, yes. I’ve started on the opioid personifications, and diacetylmorphine (her0in) is definitely going to be a part of that, as well as ADHD medications, which means m3thamphetamine hydrochloride (crystal m3th) is also on the horizon.

Are real people/names included in character lore?

No, I try to keep real people out of the personified pill lore, as it is fiction that’s simply based on actual events. A lot of the history behind these medications can be upsetting, and I do my best to treat these events with the respect they deserve. I’ll talk a lot about drug companies (Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Novartis, AstraZeneca, etc. etc.) but I won’t mention anyone specific lore-wise. I enjoy talking about drug history OUTSIDE of these characters, and will probably do that here too (with appropriate tags of course).

TAYLOR DERANGEMENT SYNDROME TAKES OVER INADEQUATES, INC.

The Bulwark’s entertainment editor, Sonny Bunch, gets it right about this week’s MAGA brainfart over Taylor Swift:

“Of all the dumb things the nascent nouveau right has tried over the years, attempting to turn conservatives against the NFL is by far the dumbest.

“It’s a sort of brainwashing, like you see in 1984 or Scientology. Get people to say the dumbest shit imaginable (“Two hot celebrities dating is a psyop culm,inating in the Illuminati fixing the Super Bowl so you’ll have to get vaccinated!”) and they’ll believe anything.”

Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift hasn’t even endorsed President Joe Biden for reelection yet. That hasn’t stopped upper crust members of MAGAworld Inadequates Inc. from declaring a “holy war” on the pop mega-star, especially if she ends up publicly backing the Democrats in the 2024 election.

According to three people familiar with the matter, Trump loyalists working on or close to the former president’s campaign, longtime Trump allies in right-wing media, and an array of outside advisers to the ex-president have long taken it as a given that Swift will eventually endorse Biden, as she did in 2020. Indeed, several of these Republicans and conservative media figures have discussed the matter with Trump over the past few months. In recent weeks, the Inadequate-in-Chief has told people that no amount of A-list celebrity endorsements will save Biden. Trump has also privately claimed that he is “more popular” than Swift is and that he has more committed fans than she does. Last month, he said that it “obviously” made no sense that he was not named Time magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year,an honor that went to none other than Swift.

The state of affairs among MAGA Inadequates Inc. is truly remarkable. A subset of America actually purports to boycott Disney, the world's preeminent entertainment company; Bud Light, once America's most popular beer; Target, the quintessential brick-and-mortar shopping destination; Pfizer, the pharmaceutical company that produced life-saving Covid-19 vaccines; Major League Baseball, the nation's favorite pastime; and now Taylor Swift, a generational icon who is one of the most successful musical artists of all time.

It’s incredibly idiotic, but the online right-wing worldview ALWAYS chooses bizarre conspiracies as their default setting for any event that captures the public interest. As Jonah Goldberg put it at The Dispatch, “Now they declare war on the National Football League and Taylor Swift - what’s next, sunny days and hotdogs?”

World’s Dumbest Mick and Proof the English Were Right, Sean “Hammerhead” Hannity, running to not be late to the party, has concluded Taylor Swift was lied to and misled by the left, saying, “Maybe she just bought into all the lies about conservatives and Republicans, that they’re racist and sexist and homophobic, and xenophobic and transphobic and Islamophobic, that Republicans and conservatives want dirty air and water and a total ban on all abortion with no exceptions. If she believes all that, she is believing a lie because those talking points are simply untrue. Now, I’m just saying maybe she wants to think twice before making a decision About 2024.”

(Mmmm, Sean baby, I hate - no, I don’t, I love it! - being the guy to tell you that it’s you who have been misinformed. It’s the knowledge of how Inadequate they all are and always have been that drives them, like the lost souls in “The Day of the Locust,” to want to knock down Taylor Swift - who has shattered virtually every major record in the music industry, as she lives her best life supporting her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, while she breaks the brains of each one of the Inadequates.

The digital fever swamps are where the boys no woman would ever touch gather to fume over everything and anything Swift-related. Her world-wide popularity, the success of the Eras Tour - which is so big that it has notably added to the country’s Gross National Product - her relationship, her appearances at NFL games, and especially her politics - all of that drives the losers crazy.

When the Chiefs won the AFC championship on Sunday, punching the team’s ticket to the Super Bowl (for the third time since t hey appeared in the first on), the Inadequates began shouting about long-standing conspiracy theories around the NFL’s “scriptwriting” for football seasons.

All that gets added to the river of shit pouring from the Inadequate conspiracy theorists who have been claiming since she was first spotted at a Chief’s game that Swift’s involvement with Kelce is part of a deep state plot to build support for President Biden in the 2024 election.

The result is as ugly as it is stupid.

Millenial We’d All Like To Throw From An Upper Story Window Head First, Inadequate blowhard Vivek Ramaswamy, tweeted last Monday that he wondered “who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month,” adding, “I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months.”

That was in response to Pizzagate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec, who suggested there was a suspicious shift in Swift’s political leanings over the past several years.

Laura Loomer - who it’s rumored gives the worst blowjobs of any of the professional MAGA bimbos - wrote on Elmo’s Xitter (that’s pronounced, “shitter”) that “The Democrats’ Taylor Swift election interference psyop is happening in the open. They are going to use Taylor Swift as the poster child for their pro-abortion GOTV Campaign.”

Swift has not yet announced if she’ll attend the Super Bowl — as she has a concert in Tokyo, Japan the night before (Due to the International Date Line that allows her to leave Japan just before midnight of the day before the event and arrive in Las Vegas in the early afternoon of the day before the event, she’s pretty likely) Looney Loomer suggested in another post that Swift would be seated next to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom at the game. “Just in time for 2024.”

Far-right influencer Rogan O’Handley posted a message on Xitter addressed to the San Francisco 49ers, in which he suggested that if the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, Swift and Kelce would trigger an apocalyptic chain of events that would kill millions. “You MUST defeat the Chiefs! If you don’t, Mr. Pfizer and his girlfriend are going to tour the country as ‘world champions’ helping elect Joe Biden WW3 will likely follow in a 2nd Biden term and millions will die. The fate of the free world rests upon your shoulders”

Failed GOP candidate Jack Lombardi II wrote on Xitter that he has “never been more convinced that the Super Bowl is rigged. With all the unneeded and unwanted Taylor coverage at the games. KC’s journey to the Superbowl – totally scripted … KC wins. And then later [they announce] their support for Biden. Coincidental? No. Bought and paid for couple. SMH.” He later posted that, “Taylor Swift is nothing more than a controlled influencer who has been put to work by those who seek to destroy America. She is a very talented operative working for the same group responsible for the timely and coincidental covid-19.”

Podcast host Mike Crispi raged that “The NFL is totally RIGGED for the Kansas City Chiefs, Taylor Swift, Mr. Pfizer (Travis Kelce). All to spread DEMOCRAT PROPAGANDA. Calling it now: KC wins, goes to Super Bowl, Swift comes out at the halftime show and ‘endorses’ Joe Biden with Kelce at midfield.”

And just to prove that every part of MAGA Inadequates, Inc., is aboard for this shitshow, when I was in the grocery store this afternoon, I spotted the new issue of the National Inquirer in the rack by the checkout line. The third headline read” “CROOKED NFL REFS ALL IN FOR RIGGING SUPER BOWL.”

Republican Georgia politician Kandiss Taylor wrote that she “tried to warn yall back in October that the influence of [Taylor Swift] on our youth with witchcraft was demonic, evil, and Luciferian. Of course, Satan wants to use her now to elect Joe back into the White House to destroy what’s left of America.”

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson freaked out over a magazine stand at a Barnes & Noble that had been stocked exclusively with Taylor Swift covers. He posted on Xitter that “Taylor Swift is an op. It’s all fake. You’re being played.”

Charlie Warzel, staff writer at The Atlantic who covers the intersection of politics, technology, and culture, wrote, "There’s something striking about watching the far-right tying itself in knots and attacking Swift and Kelce that demonstrates how badly the far-right media has alienated itself from most of society. They’ve built out this alternate universe and reality of grievance and it feels like instead of using it to wage an effective culture war, they’re fully lost in it and can’t see that they’ve chosen as their primary enemy the person with the literal highest approval rating in American life right now."

it took about six months for desantis to completely shoot himself in the foot where it concerned posing any real threat to trump. his poll performance is terrible and his donors are apparently souring on him.

im not super surprised by this, but I’m shocked how quickly it happened. the thing that desantis doesn’t realize is that he’s too much of a, well, simp. when trump talks about vaccines and his supporters say “boo! we hate vaccines! vaccines suck!”, trump just sort of says “fuck you then” and moves on. whereas desantis says “omg guys, i hate vaccines more than you do!!! i hate them so much im going after pfizer!!! do you like me 🥺👉👈”

it seems like he’s completely misconstrued his base for something they just aren’t. just because a red voter thinks K-3 is too young for sex ed doesn’t mean they’re fine with “ban it until the wedding night”. this should be obvious, but it’s not to desimptis, who wants to die on the hill of trying too hard.

more so, I don’t think the spiritual successor to what trump ushered in is going to be a politician trying to emulate him. it’s probably going to be someone outside of electoral politics who has a large cultural presence. don’t rule out the possibility for a candace owens presidential bid in ‘28.

TLDR. If I knew how to put this under a cut, I would, but that bit of tumblr magic is beyond my skills. I’m warning you, this is long. I’m trying to catch any typos as I write, but please forgive any I miss.

Traditionally, I am VERY pro-vax. I’m vaxed, both my kids are vaxed and I am not saying one way or the other that a vaccine(s) are the root of my issues. All I’m doing is writing what I personally have experienced. Everyone should get as much info as they can, talk to your doctor if you have one you trust, and do what’s right for you.

Ryan is my husband. I live in northern Harford County, Maryland, about 1 hour North of Baltimore. My alcohol consumption has never been alcoholic level, I’m talking about a glass or two of wine over several hours in a night, maybe a little more if I was at the pool over the course of a day, or a dinner out or something, but not insane levels consumed. I stopped drinking because it stopped tasting good, probably because of what I was starting to go through.

So, back in 2021 I got my 2 Pfizer shots when I was eligible, had no problems. When I was eligible for the first booster shot, I got that too. At the same time as the booster, the pharmacist said, “hey, do you want your flu shot now too?” Since my elderly parents live with us (also vaccinated) and I didn’t want to risk getting them sick, I said sure. Got both at the same time.

3 days later, I woke up and could barely move my legs, my legs felt like they were encased in burning metal and swords being shoved up my heels and my hands also felt like they were on fire and so sensitive to touch, it felt like they were being constantly scrubbed with super rough sandpaper and also had no strength in them, so they were basically worthless. Went to my PCP (Medstar doctors group), they told me to go to the ER, because they didn’t know what was wrong and wouldn’t prescribe me anything for pain other than Tylenol or advil. Went to Upper Chesapeake ER, spent 14 hours in the waiting room to get 2 bags of saline to help with being dehydrated. However, once they found out I had stopped drinking 6 months prior to that (this was December 2021), they basically treated me like I was a drunk and looking for pills and sent me home to follow up with my PCP instead of admitting me and running more tests. I kinda understand, because it was the height of Covid and the ER was packed and they were running the ER out of the waiting room, but the lack of giving even a little bit of a shit about what was wrong with me was pretty disconcerting. There was a 20-ish year old kid who was sitting next to who smoked so much pot over 3 days that he forgot to eat or drink and the staff treated him more courteously than they did me and admitted him while I was still sitting there, waiting to see if they could find a bed for me.

So the next day, I did follow up with my PCP, and they said they’d been researching it more, and thought I might have Guillome-Barre Syndrome, which is a nerve disease where your white blood cells attack your nerves (most usually starts in the hands and feet), and is dangerous to not get treated because it can paralyze your lungs and kill you. They wanted me to go back to the hospital. I refused to go back to UC, so they suggested going to Franklin Square instead and I agreed. They wanted me to go right away, and would “call ahead” so my ER wait wouldn’t be as long. It was only an 8 hour wait there until I got called back and then eventually admitted me after they found me a bed. Ryan couldn’t stay with me because they were being super strict about visiting hours (armed guards in the ER and everything), so that sucked.

That night, the neurologist examined me and said I probably did have GBS and explained the treatment (there are 2, one is a intravenous medicine given over 5 days -IVIG- and the other was a total blood transfusion or something. ) I got the IVIG and everything that would go along with it. Starting the next morning, the doctor in charge of the ER or something (I don’t remember what his title was at this point, but he was a pretentious blowhatd who had at least 6 if not more of his students following him around like ducklings on his rounds every day) examined me and thought the neurologist was wrong and there was nothing majorly wrong with me and I was most likely just looking for pain meds to abuse. Of course he didn’t use those words, but his demeanor and attitude toward me, even when Ryan was also allowed to be there, made it clear what he thought.

So the neurologist won the start of the pissing match between the two of them, and I got all 5 days worth of the IVIG treatment. On the 6th day, I had to get a lumbar puncture to see if I had the GBS protein that they use to diagnose the syndrome. I apparently didn’t have the protein present, but even though the neurologist wanted to keep me there for more testing (because they are seeing GBS a lot more now than they used to, and they don’t know much about it yet; he was arguing that the protein they look for may have mutated into something different, etc, but otherwise I had all the symptoms of GBS. They two of them had the discussion (fight) in front of Ryan and me, with the ER doctor waving my test results in the neurologist’s face and saying “See? I told you there’s nothing wrong with her! She’s morbidly obese (fair, I was 300 lbs at that point, and looked about 15 months pregnant with a 20 lb baby), an alcoholic, looking for pain meds to abuse and the pain is all in her head. Anxiety. I’m discharging her.” And he won that fight, because I was discharged the next day. I still could barely walk and Ryan had to basically lift me up into the car to take me home. They sent a nurse with us to supervise me getting into the car and keep us from stealing the wheelchair I guess, but she didn’t do anything to help at all. Discharge papers said I didn’t have GBS, but a description of GBS and how I was treated for it, a list of vitamins and anxiety medication to get filled and to follow up with my PCP. Oh, and I wasn’t allowed back there to be treated for anything unless I had documented proof that I had completed a 30 day inpatient rehab program for alcohol..even though it had been months since I’d had any alcohol at all.

So I did follow up worth my PCP. Who has been treating me for over a decade or more as needed, knew my drinking was moderate and I’ve never had a history of looking for pain pills. But it was clear that they agreed with the ER doctor about being too fat, an alcoholic and looking for pills. Even though I never asked for oxy or narcotics, I just wanted something to stop the pain. I didn’t care what they gave me, as long as it worked. Never with either hospitals or the PCP was cirrhosis or potential liver failure mentioned or tested for.

So they gave me a laundry list of vitamins and medication, including Gabapentin to try to help with the nerve pain. Had a bad reaction to that one: it made me dizzy, pass out and fall, most of my hair fell out in one large clump, suicidal thoughts. Basically every side effect that could happen did happen, so I stopped taking that one. The anxiety med I was sent home with could be upped from 20 mg (anxiety) to 60 mg for nerve pain, so my PCP did that. This was around April 2022. I was OK at RJ’s (our son, 23) wedding (issues walking, but not needing a walker or wheelchair yet), but soon after that, the new medication caused me to sleep 23/24 hours per day and to hallucinate horribly when I was unconscious. I still remember most of those hallucinations and I feel so bad for people whose brains make them go through that, because it is SO REAL when you’re in the middle of it.

So this went on for the rest of 2022, until Ryan started to wean me off the meds. His reasoning was that I looked like I was dying, couldn’t eat or drink, couldn’t recognize him or Ryleigh, (our daughter, 17) and if I was dying anyway, maybe I would die with enough sense to be able to say goodbye to them and it mean something. I basically “woke up” on December 1, 2022 as if nothing had happened. I didn’t know when it was or what had happened, but could sit up, get in the shower, get dressed, etc with a walker and/or Ryan helping me, use the bathroom instead of a diaper etc. by this point, I couldn’t feel anything in my feet, very little sensation from my ribs down and hands still basically worthless and painful. Also couldn’t write anymore, type or even see very well, even with my glasses on. But better than being comatose or dead.

At this point, I wanted nothing to do with doctors or hospitals, and I told Ryan if he forced me to go, I’d leave AMA because they wouldn’t believe me, and I wasn’t going to go through all that BS again when it did nothing for me the first time. So for most of this year I walked/moved around as much as I could, did light PT exercises with rubber bands and tried any holistic or natural remedy we could find. But I was steadily getting worse.

Until July 20 of this year when I finally crashed. I was really bad, and Ryan begged me to let him call 911 and go to the hospital. I agreed and after a flurry of movement that I don’t remember much of, I had almost 8 liters of fluid taken out of my liver. The ER doc at UC told Ryan that he’d do the best he could to stabilize me, but that I might not survive until the next day. Also that UC wasn’t equipped to treat me and either University of MD or Hopkins would have to accept me for me to have a chance. UM wouldn’t take me because they didn’t take our insurance and Hopkins wasn’t sure if they could free up a bed for me.

Amazingly, after being at UC for 2 days, Hopkins found me a bed and transported me there. After what seemed like every test in the world, miraculously they found me a liver that matched me perfectly (a 23 year old man who died from a drug overdose; I’m allowed to contact his family, but I have to figure out what to say without sounding like a complete bitch) and my transplant values were bad enough to move me up on the transplant list, so instead of going home to wait for the “bat call” as Ryan calls it and potentially wait years for the transplant and hoping to stay alive in the meantime, I miraculously got my new liver after 2 weeks, on August 6.

I won’t go into the boring details of recovery, but from the start, my body seems to be accepting the new liver very well. The GBS has complicated it a lot (even though I hadn’t been drinking much before, and had 0 alcohol since RJ’s wedding more than a year ago, my liver was so bad, they couldn’t even use it for research. I still can’t feel my feet and have nerve pain in my hands, legs and feet and also have optic nerve degeneration from the GBS causing my vision problems. So I might not ever be 100% or be able to drive again, but it’s worth it to be alive. I have pain specialist, neurologist and neuro-ophthalmology appointments with Hopkins doctors, but not until mid-November.

So hopefully the GBS will eventually reverse itself (for most people this happens, but I’m not holding my breath) or there might be medication that would help my nerve pain and eyesight. Very irritating and tedious, but again, so worth it to be alive and able to walk with a walker and get out of the house, which I hadn’t done since RJ’s wedding last April. I’m doing PT/OT through Hopkins to relearn stuff, learn workarounds for stuff I still can’t do and to hopefully get those nerves to wake up and start working the way they’re supposed to. So for the most part, doing well, and aside from some hiccups with the medications (I take 16 pills daily, some multiple times a day); which I’m told is fairly normal, life is good.

It’s funny. A lot of people in the hospital and since have been surprised at how upbeat I typically am, and not overly upset over the issues I still have. And honestly? Surviving nearly dieing at only 51 and getting a second chance to witness the amazing young woman Ryleigh is becoming and getting to eventually (hopefully) have grandchildren to fawn over and love, why wouldn’t I be supremely grateful and happy about surviving? Yeah, there’s stuff that’s annoying, but if it never gets better than this? WORTH IT!

So, there’s the majority of what’s been happening to me over the last 2+ years. I’m sure you’re sorry you asked, lol. I do really appreciate you caring about what happened and all the good thoughts and prayers I must have received for everything to have worked out the way it did. Not that scared of dieing anymore, but hopeful it won’t happen anytime soon. ❤️

Also, my point of bringing up the Covid/flu vaccines is because (anecdotally; no proof yet) the medical community is seeing a sharp increase in nerve related issues in people after being introduced to MRNA vaccines, which the flu shot is now as well. While they’ve known about GBS for awhile, until recently it’s been pretty rare in our population and it’s not a syndrome like MS or Parkinson’s that’s been studied a lot. Best guess from multiple doctors is that it was more the flu shot, but especially getting it at the same time as a Covid booster that caused the GBS to manifest now. I might have always been going to get it, but probably not until much later in life. They still don’t know enough about the nerve related issues or even the vaccines to say for sure. So that’s been fun.

And, I only weigh 165 lbs now. It’s a hell of a way to lose weight, I don’t recommend it. 😂

Ok about the Zachary Levi controversy. I’m going to play devil’s advocate for a second.

After reading Zach’s book, I seriously don’t think that he’s an all around anti-vaxxer. In his book he talks about healthcare (more mental healthcare, but also healthcare in general) and how important it is to him, how people should seek help. He really doesn’t seem like the type of person to have that opinion on all vaccines. It doesn’t make any sense, given his background and what he’s gone through.

Just because he has a pretty ridiculous opinion on one type of vaccine, doesn’t mean he’s anti vaxxer. People are forgetting that there are different types of Covid vaccines, that he hasn’t commented on.

Personally, I hate the Pfizer vaccine too, because it does cause some pretty nasty side effects, especially for people like me with shit immune systems, but that doesn’t mean that I’m an anti vaxxer. I think he’s being way over dramatic about it but I’ve heard people who aren’t anti vaxxers say similar stuff about the Pfizer, specifically and I think that is to do with its after effects.

As for the other stuff about him being homophobic and transphobic and supporting trump, I’ve heard so many mixed accounts on that, that I want to know what’s true and what’s not. Please DM me if you have more info on that.

Deep thoughts …. Missing the creative me, 💕 How I was found online by a HOLLYWOOD CASTING DIRECTOR-

Yesterday I was really down and sad. I guess it was a let down after the video shoot. I had anticipated it since late April and the day finally came, I met all of these wonderful creative people from LA, New York and Iowa who are in the fine arts who spent an entire day with me. It was one of the best days of my life I’ve had in years. It was an emotional happy high that I didn’t want to end. Then it was over…just like that!

We laughed, worked hard, created, shared gifts, ate together, shared thoughts, then said our goodbyes with sweet embraces.

It may sound weird… but I cried yesterday. I have missed being around people in the fine arts. They are just like me. So I called my sister and told her how I was feeling as I cried in her ear and she said, “Tam, you’re sad because they are your tribe and it’s like you found them! You found your tribe!”

It explained everything. I have felt like a duck out of water. I was born to create music and stories. I love talking, I love photography, I love being on camera, I love creating beautiful things with other people, and I live in a state where everyone sells insurance and lives in the middle of corn fields. Don’t get me wrong, I love ❤️ Iowa! It’s my home and it’s like a comfy pair of warm socks or jeans that I want to wear every day!

For years people told me to move to Nashville so I would be around other writers, but I just couldn’t leave my family. I’m extremely family oriented. I have never had the money to pick up and do things like that. I think people with money do have an upper hand on placing themselves in situations where they can be successful. People have also used the coined phrase around me, “Must be present to win.” That’s really stuck with me.

But sometimes you can be found in the middle of a corn 🌽 field without leaving home.

Some of you may ask, “How did you end up on a Pfizer documentary video filmed by Hollywood film directors?”

My posting on social media for over 16 years was NOT in vain. A Hollywood casting director found me online on a site where people were posting about RSV (a respiratory virus) and being ill with it. I had it twice and was trying to encourage other people with helpful hints on how to get through it. A casting director lady was watching my posts and how I was responding to other people. She then texted me and from there it went to video chatting and interviews with Pfizer and Hollywood directors. It was like a whirlwind of thoughts.. like is this really happening? I’m in a cornfield and you found me. I didn’t even take a flight to Hollywood to tell my story they all flew to me.

This is a case where social media is powerful and very good! We all know social media can be mean and hurtful, but now I know very great things can happen on social media.

For me, this moment in time is forever cherished and a nudge from God to never stop creating, even if it’s me sitting alone in my music room, don’t stop! Don’t stop creating and don’t stop putting it out there into the world! You’ve only got one life. Live it to the fullest! 😊❤️

as i look around at so much distortion of all that is right and good, i am even more amazed at the patience and mercy of our God.  so much of the darkness has even penetrated His church body.  we hear the band begin to play and watch as almost everyone around us bows down; bows down to "acceptance."

the other day i heard someone liken today's world to the band that played on the titanic as it sank into the ocean.  our world is sinking into darkness and the frolicking and pleasure-seeking continues.  "mene, mene, tekel, upharsin" ... you have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting." dan 5:25,27

remember, you and i will have what we tolerate.  in a culture advocating tolerance at all costs, we must learn to live with the pressure it exerts.  in the final analysis, what God says is still much more important than what we may think or what anyone else might say about what we do or don't do.

recently the grammy awards on television had a skit about the devil and ungodly things.  then after openly promoting satanism the commercial said, brought to you by pfizer vaccines.  cbs declared that it was “ready to worship.”  poke, poke, poke - who is God and what is He able to do about it?  rebellion and blasphemy has gone amuck.

even now, the church of england is considering dropping the phrase “our Father” from the start of the Lord’s prayer, and instructing clergy to refrain from using male pronouns when talking about God, according to a report in the telegraph.  yes, God's own church is now joining in the "poking."  nouns and pronouns gone crazy among those who couldn't diagram a sentence if they had to.

our great God in His unfathomable love and amazing grace puts off hurt and destruction as long as He may without giving one over to the darkness.  then in His loving patience He puts forth the rod of correction.  "before i was afflicted i went astray, but now i keep your word.  you are good, and do good; teach me Your statues." psa 119:67-68

why does someone reject goodness and truth, allowing them to fall back into their old ways.  truly, "'a dog returns to his own vomit,' and, 'a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.'" 2 Pet 2:22  i have a friend who was recently released from prison.  while they were in there and we wrote, i had great hopes of seeing them walk with God; so young and so much possibilities lay in their future.  alas, they returned to their old life and are now back in prison. once again we are in correspondence in hopes that this will be a lasting change.  we are all in prison if we do not know His saving grace.  "therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." john 8:36

Saturday Rant… Satan Worship and Earthquakes

In what would have to be considered the most obvious display of blatant sacrilege, the 2023 Grammy Awards featured worshipping Satan as their showpiece. And, true to form, the Hollyweird crowd loved it.       It’s hard to imagine this actually took place. But it’s a reflection of the depravity that comes from the entertainment industry.   And in other news, Turkey and Syria are still reeling from a devastating earthquake that has killed more than 17,000 people. And while we find nothing funny about the earthquake, we find it quite interesting/coincidental? that this earthquake happened right after Turkey’s President Erdogan slammed the door shut about admitting Sweden and Finland into NATO.   READ:  Turkey Kills NATO Talks With Sweden  January 26, 2023     We’re not saying that someone purposely caused an earthquake in Turkey. But…and this is a Very VERY BIG BUTT…   In 1897, Nicola Tesla invented an “Earthquake Machine” that somehow magically disappeared after his death. Conspiracy theories aside, if the technology was available back then, it’s most likely been improved today…as in HAARP Technology.       Needless to say there’s a lot of rants about these two subjects. Moon Astronaut Buzz Aldrin Weds to Celebrate His 93rd Birthday

Buzz Aldrin announced on his Facebook page that he has married his "longtime love" in a small ceremony in Los Angeles.  The former U.S. astronaut, who was the second human to ever walk on the moon, married 63-year-old Dr. Anca Faur on his 93rd birthday.  Faur, who has a doctoral degree in chemical engineering, has served as executive vice present of Buzz Aldrin Ventures for the past four years.  Aldrin added that the two of them are "as excited as eloping teenagers."

Gee whiz!  Now, THAT - is a truly amazing story!  Buzz goes all the way to the moon, only to return and discover his wife is now 30 years younger than he is.  I mean, talk about Einstein’s relativity theories concerning space/time being put to the test!  Folks, please take note, this is physics at its best. 

The way I see it, Buzz’s story is a living testimony to human technological innovation.  No, not some NASA innovation; I’m talking about Pfizer.  Of course, even with the help of pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer, folks will claim Buzz's “rocket and launchpad” are never gonna be what they used to be back in 1969.

Oddly, there are plenty of QAnon-types who don’t believe the moon landings were real and who think they were filmed in a movie studio.  Sounds reasonable.  I mean, all you’d have to do is convince the 12 “astronauts” who we watched land on the moon, tens of thousands of NASA employees, all the folks from other governments who also assisted, and all the movie people  - to all agree to collectively lie together.  What could be easier than that?

Anyway, all the best to Buzz and his new bride, Chelsea Handler - from 30 years in the future!  Word has it Dr. Faur “mooned him” on their first date, and given his love of celestial objects, he then found her irresistible.  After all, this marriage is “One giant step for (a 93-year-old) man.”  So, congrats Buzz, and while you’re at it, punch another conspiracy theorist in the face for the rest of us, pal!  You deserve to celebrate!
