i just realized Michael adds bandages later in his design (anything specific abt that??)
Michael’s design actually started with the bandages on his face, the few times he doesn’t wear them though is when he’s alone with Vanessa
Basically my reasoning for this is Michael feels more comfortable and safe with Vanessa, so he’s more willing to show her his scars and wounds, compared to when he’s with the others
#ask reply#I’m surprised anyone noticed seeing I’ve only done this a handful of times#I wanted to fix Michael’s no bandages designs basically that’s why I haven’t done it in awhile#but yeah he wears no bandages cause he trusts Vanessa#which I thought was really sweet#Afton siblings across time and space 💜

Bottom Of The Pack : ̗̀➛ Oscar Piastri
summary: how does it feel to be bottom of the list of your boyfriends' priorities?
Your body was numb as you heard Oscar call through your home, letting you know that he was there. There was no response from you, no movement or sound, Oscar’s eyebrows knitting together in confusion as he walked further into the apartment to try and find you.
It was as his eyes landed in the kitchen though, finding two plates of cold food up on the counter that Oscar realised why he was on the receiving end of such a frosty response from you, his body dropping in disappointment in himself.
Your efforts that evening were huge to try and organise something nice for you and Oscar, only for him to text at the last minute to tell you he couldn’t make it. A few of his colleagues at work had suggested heading out to bond before the start of the new season and Oscar didn’t have it in him to say no.
“Hi,” he nervously smiled, taking a seat on the sofa that was opposite you. “Sorry that I didn’t come home, it’s just work things, you know how it is.”
“No, I don’t think I really do,” you shrugged, your voice blunt.
It didn’t come as a surprise to Oscar, realising as soon as he walked through the door just how much he’d upset you. There were so many plates that he was having to spin, he didn’t quite know how to make sure that they were all balanced.
“I really am sorry sweetheart,” Oscar spoke, trying to move closer towards you, only for you to move away.
You soon picked up your phone, scrolling through some unanswered messages as you blocked out Oscar beside you, pretending to not even notice that he was in the room, deciding not to even give him the time of day.
Oscar sat apprehensively for a while, hoping for some sort of breakthrough, but you gave him nothing. As time passed, Oscar became more frustrated as he tried to get through to you. You knew exactly what you were doing, almost enjoying making Oscar suffer beside you.
“Is this how it’s going to be now? We’re just going to sit here in silence for the night.”
“I’m fine with that,” you shrugged, not even bothering to look up and across at Oscar.
A sigh came from Oscar as his hands brushed over the front of his face. “I’ve said that I’m sorry, I don’t know what else I can do. If I knew that you were planning on cooking for the two of us then I never would’ve done, but I just assumed that you’d sort yourself out instead.”
You finally placed your phone down, glancing across at Oscar. “It’s not just about tonight, this is how it’s been for weeks. I appreciate you’ve got a lot of priorities right now, but I constantly feel like I’m bottom of the pack, like I’m nothing.”
“You’re not nothing, you’re the most important person in my life.”
You couldn’t help but scoff as Oscar spoke, feeling as if you had a role that was the complete opposite to the one that he assured you of. It killed Oscar seeing you dismiss him like that, not believing in what he had to say.
“I don’t mean to make you feel as if you’re not significant in my life,” Oscar sighed, his voice a lot calmer than before. “You’re the person that I enjoy spending time with more than anyone else in the world.”
“Really? Then where were you tonight?” You asked, keeping your voice as flat as possible. “When was the last time we actually spent time together? Not at work? Not with other people? Just us?
As Oscar thought, the realisation hit him. He couldn’t remember the last time, the last time that he actually managed to find some time for his own girlfriend.
Oscar stood up from his seat and walked over, taking a seat beside you. “I want to spend time with you, I want to be here with you. I want to be able to put things right and realign my priorities.”
“That’s not just something you say, it’s something you do,” you reminded Oscar, unable to take his words as a guarantee. “I don’t want to be everything Oscar, but I want to be something.”
Oscar nodded, taking in everything that you said. He slowly wrapped his arms around your figure, relieved when you allowed him to hold onto you rather than just pushing him away.
“You are everything, I promise,” Oscar whispered against the side of your head, “I would never be in the position that I’m in right now if it wasn’t for you and all that you do for me.”
Slowly Oscar felt you relax into his hold, his heart full of relief that you were at least starting to relax around him, even if he still had plenty of making up to do to make things right again.
“Sorry isn’t enough, I’ve been stupid and blind to see how I’ve been treating you recently,” Oscar murmured, keeping his voice quiet. “I don’t expect you to trust me right now, but I want you to know that things are going to change, you are, you always have been, my number one.”
“You know I’ve always supported you Oscar, but I’m not going to keep supporting you if I don’t get something in return. We’re supposed to be a team.”
Oscar continued to nod, understanding everything that you were saying to him. He wasn’t naive to it anymore, he knew what he had done and how much hurt he had caused you, without even realising that he was doing it.
“We’re going to spend more time together, starting tomorrow I’m going to make sure that I finish work earlier, get home more often and spend time with you. You’re going to feel like the most important person in my life, because that is exactly who you are my love.”
You smiled weakly across at Oscar as his hand cupped the side of your face, bringing your face towards him as he placed the gentlest of kisses against your lips.
It was a simple kiss, but it meant more to Oscar than he could describe. It was the moment he needed to know that he had a chance, that although you were mad at him, you were still going to be there with him. It didn’t quite say all is forgiven yet, but Oscar knew that was never going to be the case just yet.
“You know, I think I would’ve preferred to come home to you tonight anyway, the team dinner was boring,” Oscar confided, a faint chuckle coming from him too.
“They won’t speak to you again at work if you tell them that,” you reminded him, “you know how dedicated Zak is to only the best team building events.”
Oscar shrugged as a glimmer of a smile appeared on your face too. “I’ll tell him myself, tell him he’s got to come up with something better to stop me from coming home and spending time with my girlfriend next time.”
Your head shook, although Oscar meant every word. It would take something special for him to not spend his time with you anymore, not when he saw how close he got to losing you.
“I don’t know if I’ve said it enough tonight, but I really am sorry,” Oscar reminded you once again, feeling your hand rest over his.
“You don’t need to keep saying sorry Oscar, I know how sorry you are.”
“I know...I just...really mean it.”

Steve got the tattoo the day they held the very small, very secret service for Eddie.
He knew he had to get it somewhere hidden, didn’t wanna answer questions, not even from Robin.
The E+S on his upper thigh was precious to him, all he had left of the promises they made to each other as children and again as teenagers.
Eddie was Steve’s, even if he wasn’t here, and Steve would always be Eddie’s, even if Eddie no longer knew.
But eventually, the end of summer came, and the kids wanted to have something normal. Normal for them was a pool party that ended in a sleepover, and Steve didn’t have much choice about making it happen.
He wanted them to have something normal.
So he got his bathing suit on, forgetting the tattoo was in a spot that might show in it, and tried to have fun with them.
Robin noticed and then Max noticed, and once he’d tried getting out of the explanation twice in a row, Dustin and Will noticed.
So he just explained that he lost a dare with Tommy years ago and that got them to stop asking.
But he found himself crying in the shower that evening, trying his best not to make any noise as sobs wracked his body and it got harder and harder to breathe.
The only thing that snapped him out of it was the knowledge that Eddie would want him to go back downstairs to be with the kids. He wouldn’t want to see Steve like this.
He kissed his fingertips and pressed them to his tattoo, just like he’d done every single day since he got it.
And then he went downstairs to be with the kids.
His one rule during sleepovers at his house was he still go to sleep in his own bed. Sometimes Robin would join him, but most of the time, he slept alone.
He couldn’t sleep.
He could feel the exhaustion deep in his bones, but every time he closed his eyes and tried to drift, he’d get an overwhelming feeling of being watched.
His eyes would open and he’d look around, confused and frustrated.
And nothing would be there.
Which was good, great even. He didn’t want there to be anyone or anything there. But he did want an explanation for this feeling.
He sat up in his bed and sighed.
Maybe he could-
Something was definitely in his bathroom. The door had been closed earlier, like it always was, and now it was halfway open.
The light was off.
Steve stood from his bed silently, crept to the bathroom with his nail bat raised, and considered what would happen if he died up here.
“That’s a depressing thought even for your melodramatics, sweetheart.”
Steve barely resisted screaming at Eddie’s voice.
“Oh god. I’ve finally fuckin’ lost it,” he said as he turned the bathroom light on.
“I dunno. You still got it, baby. Even if you lost some weight in your ass.”
Eddie, or something that looked and talked like Eddie, was sitting on the sink in the bathroom.
“I did like those little swim trunks, though. Hope you wear those again for me.”
“What the fuck.”
“You know, that’s exactly what I said when I woke up alive. Kinda thought I was dying. Imagine my surprise when I didn’t.”
Steve held his bat tighter.
“Eddie? How?”
Eddie hopped off the sink and stepped closer, slowly, so he wouldn’t scare Steve.
“Not sure. But it’s not the craziest thing that’s happened.” Eddie wanted to touch him, Steve could tell. His hands were clenching into fists to resist. “I know I’m not human, but I’m close enough, I think.”
“Close enough for what?”
“To love you.”
Steve dropped the bat and fell against Eddie, burying his face in his neck and breathing him in, not caring about the dirt or sweat or grime clinging to his skin.
It was Eddie, and he’d take him any way he could have him.
“I’m so sorry, sweetheart. I’ve been trying to get back here for so long.” Eddie’s arms held him tight enough to bruise. “Won’t happen again, won’t leave you again.”
Steve’s sobs were loud, but trying to contain them physically pained him. He’d been in enough pain for months. He had to let these out.
He felt Eddie waving his hands behind him, but then heard Robin’s rambling and decided to turn.
“-and he’s been distraught for months but didn’t tell me anything and then I saw his tattoo earlier and I thought, well, must just be a joke you guys had. And then I was like, no, can’t be, because you barely spoke. Or at least I thought you did. Clearly I’m wrong. I’m super wrong. Wrongest I’ve ever been maybe.”
“Robs.” Steve’s choked voice silenced her. “You know how I told you to go for it with Nancy because I really didn’t have feelings for her?”
“I don’t see how this is relevant, but yeah.”
“She protected me, both of us, really, so we could be together. Offered to pretend to date me so no one would get suspicious.”
“Steve. Steve Harrington. You had a beard?”
Eddie snorted. “I know you said she was funny, but I’m pretty she’s my second favorite human now.”
Steve rolled his eyes. “Yeah. I’ve been with Eddie for forever. I mean, since we were kids practically.”
Robin was silent. A rare thing for her.
“Robin?”
“Sorry, just taking this in.”
“Yeah, Eddie being alive is a lot-“
“Not that. That is gonna come a lot later once I stop and think about the fact that he’s some kind of zombie.” Robin leaned against the doorway. “The fact that I came out to my best friend and he didn’t return the favor. That is queer code, Steve.”
Eddie laughed, and Steve let out another sob. He’d missed him so much, missed his laugh, his arms around him, his heartbeat-
“Eds. Eddie.” Steve lifted his head and pressed both hands to his chest. “You-“
“Ah. So I don’t seem to have a heartbeat anymore. As far as I can tell, I did actually die.” Eddie shrugged as if this news wasn’t absolutely insane. “So my best guess is vampire since I prefer blood to brains. But I can get by without it for a pretty long time.”
“How long?”
“Well, I haven’t had any since the day I woke up. Which is a few months according to your calendar.”
Robin held her hands up. “I’m going. Good luck. The kids are gonna flip.”
“Do not tell them. Not yet.”
Steve needed tonight, needed to have Eddie to himself before everyone else stole it for a while. He wanted to be selfish for the first time in a very long time. He knew Robin would understand.
“Sure thing. But you’re gonna have to be quiet. You’re lucky none of them heard you crying.”
Steve nodded and curled back into Eddie, placing a kiss against his neck.
“Glad you’re back Eddie,” she said as she left.
“I need a shower,” Eddie said. “Think it’ll wake the kids?”
“Nah. They slept through a tree falling in the yard last month during a storm. Just need to be quick,” Steve pulled away to start grabbing what he’d need for a shower, but Eddie pulled him back on, running his nose along his neck and sending chills down his spine.
“You wanna join me?” He asked.
“Of course I do. But we won’t be quick if I join you,” Steve smiled.
A real smile. One he realized he hadn’t had on his face since spring break.
“You wanna wait in bed for me, then?” Eddie beamed back at him.
“Can I stay in here? I don’t-“ Steve sighed. “I don’t wanna leave you.”
Eddie’s smile softened into something endeared. “Yeah, sweetheart. You can stay. Talk to me. Tell me what I missed.”
Steve told him about everything he could while he showered away the Upside Down grime, watching his shadow behind the glass door of the shower to make sure it never disappeared.
They made sure the bedroom door was locked before crawling into bed together, Steve laying on top of Eddie like he always did before.
He was heavier, but Eddie never cared.
Steve slept so long, Eddie had no choice but to go downstairs in the morning so no one would wake him up.
The chaos that ensued was nothing short of overwhelming, but Eddie didn’t mind.
He was happy to back with all the kids, even if they asked incredibly inappropriate questions about his body to find out what he was.
When Steve finally came down, he was still half asleep and barely registered the open-mouth stares of everyone as he came up to Eddie and rested his head on his chest, wrapped his arms around his waist.
Eddie smiled down at him and kissed the top of his head.
“Morning, sunshine.”
“Morning, baby.”
“Sunshine?!” Dustin yelled.
“Baby?!” Mike yelled louder.
“Make them go away,” Steve sighed against his neck.
“You don’t wanna explain?” Eddie asked him, half joking.
“Not today. Scare them or something.”
“You think Eddie can scare us? We’ve all almost died!” Lucas said.
“Fine. Eddie and I are together, have been forever. The tattoo on me is our initials. Get out of my house.”
The kids just stared at them in silence until Steve finally turned from Eddie and put his hands on his hips.
“I wasn’t asking. Get out.”
The kids scrambled to leave, making promises (threats) to come back soon.
Robin waved as she walked out with them, throwing them both a wink and knowing smile.
“So how long do you think we have until they come back?” Eddie asked, rocking them back and forth gently.
“Few hours maybe.”
“I can do a lot in a few hours,” Eddie nipped at Steve’s ear, making him shiver and laugh.
“You got super strength with your new life?” Steve grinned at him.
“I wouldn’t call it super, but I could definitely carry you back to bed.”
Steve jumped up and wrapped his legs around Eddie’s waist, arms around his neck.
“Carry me to bed, then, Eds.”
“Anything your heart desires, Stevie.”

...Mable stuck with bill timestuck, you say? I wonder if that would go better or worse than dipper being alone with bill.
Here to mention that I somehow only noticed your signature when it was next to fiddleford, and thought you were (rightly) calling him a prince. It took an embarrassingly long time for me to connect the dots.
Haha you’re not the first person to mistake my signature for actual writing so dw you’re good lol!
And as for my thoughts of Mabel and Bill in a Timestuck AU,,,
I may or may not have written a drabble in a mutuals DMs a few years back about a confrontation between Mabel and Bill and the aftermath of it! I also may or may not have just fixed it up and straight up doubled the word count haha-
Since I’m feeling a tad bit brave I’m gonna post the drabble under the cut for anyone to read along with two doodles I’ve done for it, I only ask that yall be nice to me since I don’t write very often and know I ain’t that good at it hehe-
Also I’m not lying this is like,,, 4707 words… I got possessed to write this haha
Before I begin!!! Important!!!
Trigger Warnings: Choking/Asphyxiation, harm to children, minor descriptions of small cuts and minuscule amounts of blood, verbal planning of commiting a murder/killing
(if I missed any please tell me!)
With that out of the way here's my stupidly long Timestuck AU drabble that's been on my back burner for years! The only thing you really need to know is that the twins time-traveled back after Weirdmagenddon of their own volition. Dipper is with Stan and Mabel is with Ford and Fiddleford. Mabel has been staying with the two for almost a month now and Fiddleford is the only one who knows she's a time traveler.
With the stage set, please enjoy!
💫—————————————🚩
It’s late into the night, Mabel is tossing and turning and can't go to sleep. Her mind is spiraling as she overthinks and worries about Bill, her brother, her Grunkles, everything. So at about 1AM she decides that she’s not going to bed anytime soon and gets up off the living room couch which she has called her new bed while staying with her younger Grunkle Ford and Fiddleford.
Despite it being the dead of night Mabel thought it’d be a good idea to just make something food related in hopes it would tire her out. Also, she figured it would be a fun idea since she knows Stanford is most likely still awake and probably hasn’t eaten in a while. She could make him something easy and sweet, like a batch of cookies, and give them to him as a gift! Who doesn’t like 1AM cookies?! If she doesn’t have the stuff to make that, eh, she’ll figure it out and make something else!
A bonus to this is that if Ford says he’s not hungry, a bold faced lie, she’d use her sweetest and biggest puppy eyes until he ate some. Maybe she could even convince him to go to bed and not stay up till 4AM!
The brunette starts making a batch of cookies in the cover of night, making sure to have plenty enough for Fidd's in the morning, and putting her entire heart and all her worries into the mix in hopes the oven would ease away the stress weighing down her mind.
Sure it took a while, but it would totally be worth it to see her young Grunkle's face light up in shock at the sight of a warm batch of cookies shoved into his face and getting crumbs on his nerdy notes!
Right as she was finishing up wrapping up three separate plates worth of cookies in a napkin with a pretty little bow, for the ✨aesthetic✨ she happily told herself, she hears a pair of heavy boots walk into the kitchen.
The voice of her, now young, Grunkle Ford calls out her name in the quiet kitchen. Just as she had expected, he was awake.
Before the excited brunette could whirl around and surprise Ford with the 1-2 AM batch of cookies she lovingly went and made by hand, his low voice rumbled out, “Could you grab me a mug? One from the cabinet.”
He sounded a little funny, like he just woke up. Mabel smiled as she could already picture Stanford’s bleary and tired face as he goes to make a cup of coffee with the mug he’s asking for. She lets out a small sound of exertion as she pushes herself onto the counter since she’s too short to reach the cabinets otherwise and gingerly opens the cabinet so it doesn’t squeak and pulls out a mug. Based on the small cracks and worn paint on the ceramic it seemed a tad old, the faded words of ‘Backupsmore 1973’ barely legible.
Just as Mabel turns around, about to lightly scold her young Great Uncle for drinking coffee at 2 AM instead of getting some rest, a large hand wraps around her little neck. She didn’t even have a chance to scream as she’s suddenly slammed into the now closed cabinet, the air knocked out of her lungs and her head spinning from the impact, a loud sound of ceramic shattering on the wooden floor echoing through the kitchen and Mabel’s ringing ears
A fearful confusion consumes her mind as she, unsure of what’s happening in her dazed state until she catches a glimpse of Stanford. Gone were the warm brown eyes she’s grown accustomed to, in their place were the sickly yellow slit eyes of a monster she knew all to well.
Bill Cipher.
“Shooting Star, there you are! I think you're getting a tad too comfortable around here! Let's fix that!"
Malice built in her throat as she spat out, her brows furrowed and her brown eyes glaring down his yellow ones, “Bill! You-”
“Ah, so you do know me! I assumed so, but wasn’t quite sure!”
The six fingered hand around her neck pressed a tad harder against the wooden cabinet behind her, making her wince from the pressure.
“Here’s the deal, Shooting Star, you’re being a massive thorn in my side.”
Her back was already aching from the impact of her getting slammed against the cabinet.
“Making Sixer second guess his trust in me with your insufferable kindness and child-like whimsy.”
Her sock-covered feet were slipping and sliding on the wooden countertop, legs uncontrollably trembling as her fingers gripped at Stanford’s large forearm in hopes of steadying herself.
“It was amusing at first but now it’s just annoying. So I need you,”
His hand tightened even more, making Mabel let out a sharp hiss of pain.
“Out of the picture.”
Mabel’s feet no longer are touching the countertop as Bill suddenly pulls her away from the cabinet, easily dangling her little body in the air and effectively hanging her. Panic instantly shoots through her and tears well up in her eyes as her airway is suddenly completely cut off, her little hands grabbing and clawing at her possessed great uncle’s forearm while her legs wildly kick at the air, too short to even graze against Bill’s chest.
Bill’s free hand raises up and idly taps his chin, as his musing over something indecisively, an wide and uncanny grin stretched across the possessed scientist’s face as he loudly questions, “Hmmm… how about… throwing you in the lake! If the water doesn’t kill you the cold air will!”
Mabel started to thrash around even harder, her heart pounding in her chest as fear coursed through every nerve in her body, her flight response in full gear as she tried over and over again to get out of Bill’s grip with no avail.
“Oooh! Or I could just tie you up and bury you in the snow! I hear frostbite is real killer these days!”
Blood was rushing to her ears; she could barely hear a word he was saying. All she could focus on was the panic bubbling in her chest and adrenaline pumping in her veins, screaming at her that she didn’t want to die.
It didn’t take long before her vision began to blur, her clawing hands and kicking feet getting more and more numb and slow with each passing seconds. She could faintly hear Bill say something about ‘throwing’, ‘roof’, and ‘classic!’ before she could feel herself almost completely clock out, vision fluttering in and out as her hand weakly claws at his arm one last time.
Just as she was about to give up completely, the polydactyl hand around her neck suddenly let go, sending Mabel unceremoniously crashing to the floor. She let in a large gasp of air, coughing her lungs out as air desperately tried to fill them once more. The brunette doesn’t even care about the small shards of broken ceramic cutting into her hands or shins, she was trying to make sure she didn’t accidentally start hyperventilating as drool and tears drip from her face to the floor with every sharp breath.
Mabel, disoriented and dazed, manages to glance up through strands of her long and curly brunette hair to see Ford still standing there with those disgusting yellow eyes, which were now staring off to space with annoyance clearly visible in his gaze.
"Geez Sixer, you chose the worst time to want your body back to 'test a new theory' huh?" He quietly mumbles under his breath, looking upset that his fun was being rudely ripped away from him.
Suddenly he stares down at Mabel, who was clutching her throat and panting heavily, brown eyes unable to stop crying. Despite this, despite all the pain and numbness that ran through her, she still found it in her to glare at the dream demon with as much animosity as she could muster while surrounded by ceramic shards and small prickles of blood.
"Well… we’ll just have to pick this up another time, won't we Shooting Star?"
The possessed body of Stanford Pines strolls towards the archway leading out of the kitchen, however before he leaves completely, he stops and whirls around with that same twisted smile Mabel vividly remembers seeing on her possessed brother’s face just a few months ago. "Oh, Shooting Star? Would you be a doll and clean up this mess? Wouldn’t want anyone getting hurt now, would we?"
And with one final cackle he left, making his way back downstairs to Stanford’s study, presumably to make it appear like he never left in the eyes of the oblivious scientist, leaving the little brunet alone on the floor to lightly grip her neck, wincing at the bruise that's bound to appear the next day.
She stayed there silently for what felt like hours but was only just a couple minutes, the adrenaline coursing through her veins slowly but surely fading away as the feeling finally came back to her numb fingers and toes, relieved that she isn’t hyperventilating anymore and she can actually breathe.
She eased herself off the cold wooden floor, her little body trembling the entire time.
Despite the feeling of spite coursing through her veins for that awful dream demon, he was right…, she really didn’t want anyone to get hurt… So instead of immediately going to fix herself up she spent the next 10 minutes sweeping up the broken mug and getting all the broken shards of ceramic into the trash.
Curse her and her big heart…!
When she was done it was about 2 AM, and it was now officially time to check the damage.
Before she left the kitchen she made sure to put the plates of cookies into the fridge.
She didn’t really feel hungry anymore.
With a couple of winces and hisses of pain she managed to tip toe herself up the stairs and to the bathroom, making sure she didn’t accidentally wake up Fiddleford by stepping on a loose plank or opening the door too loud. Once inside she gingerly pulls out the old timey medkit from under the sink and sits on the floor.
Well, technically the medkit was modern since it was the 80s…
Wah, Mabel! Not the time!
With a deep breath she gingerly treats the tiny cuts gracing her hands and shins, trying not to cry as she disinfects each cut just like Grunkle Ford taught her to at the end of the summer, plucking out mini pieces of ceramic embedded in her skin with a pair of tweezer like how her Grunkle Stan had taught her at the beginning of the summer (note from her past self, splinters are never fun).
Cleaning and applying band-aids to the cuts was the easy part, most of the bandages would be hidden under her sweater and the winter pants Fiddleford had gifted her during her first couple days staying at the shack.
It was her neck that was going to be hard to hide.
Mabel stood up and got on a step stool to look into the minor, immediately wincing at the sight of her bare neck, dark purple was already creeping in and bruising every bit of her neck. The brunette leaned closer to get a better look and almost whispered out one of the many swears she had accidentally learned from Stanford while living here.
There was a hand bruised into her neck, and it encompassed her entire neck.
She gingerly touched her neck and winced at the dull pain. Guess she wasn’t going to take off her sweater for about 2 weeks now… just 1 week if she was lucky enough…
She tentatively took a step outside of the bathroom and tiptoed down the hallway again, trying to not make a single sound. Just when she got to the steps she heard a door open behind her, causing her to instantly crouch down and hope that she was far enough down the stairs that her body was hidden from sight.
She dared herself to peek just above the top step to see Fiddleford standing outside of his room, stretching and yawning before closing his door and walking towards the bathroom Mabel just left, making the 13-year-old let out a sigh of relief that he wasn’t going to see her like this.
She knew she should probably tell Fiddleford what happened, but she just couldn’t. Maybe it was that childish fear of getting in trouble over nothing getting to her, or maybe it was the fear that her young Grunkle would be blamed for what Bill did.
Regardless, despite her better judgment, she kept her mouth shut and decided to hide her bruises from everyone else in the house, silently thinking of a way she could somehow protect herself from Bill.
She could practically hear Dipper yelling at her about how bad of an idea this was, but she was too shaken up to think of anything else…
So, she kept with the plan even as she shakily slipped a sweater over her large t-shirt she wore as a night gown and fell asleep on the couch, huddled in the corner in a ball as vivid nightmares haunted her fitful sleep, showing flashes of a possessed Stanford Pines throwing her off either the house or a water tower.
She woke up the next day to the warm smell of breakfast and the soft tones of Fidd's humming a tune in the kitchen, her body absolutely aching and a tad sweaty from the combo of the sweater and the fireplace keeping the room warm.
Mabel winced as she got off the couch. Yep… her back is definitely bruised.
She tentatively walked towards the open archway leading into the kitchen, silently calming her nerves and trying to put a smile onto her face. It helped that Fiddleford is making breakfast, she loves his food.
The kicthen was so empty when she first arrived but the southern man immediately starting keeping the place stocked when it was clear that she was going to stay there for a while. He also insistent on making her a meal 3 times a day since she was a ‘growin’ lil’ girl’. Because of her memories of Fiddleford being ‘Old Man McGucket’ were much more prominent in her brain it was easy to forget that he was once a father, but in those domestic moments when he doted and fussed over her it was clear that he was a good one.
Well, when he was sane that is…
She quickly shook off the bleak memory.
Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts…
She let out a low breath as a wide smile covered her face, her round cheeks rosy as she happily skipped inside.
Fiddleford perked up at the sound of Mabel walking inside, smiling as immediately spoke with a fond voice, "Ey there sweetpea, sleep well?" He idly glanced behind to see Mabel in her baggy t-shirt/sleep gown as well as a sweater on top of that, making him raise an eyebrow as he playfully asks, "Did someone get' cold last night?"
"Just a little bit." Mabel playfully replied back, unable to stop the wince that crossed her face at the sound of her hoarse voice.
Fiddleford, who was already done making breakfast, immediately whipped his head around at the sound. "Honeybee, are ya' alright?"
She lightly coughs into her fist a couple times and passingly remarks, “I’m fine, it's just morning gunk! Just need some water, haha!” Trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.
Fiddleford still had a suspicious look in his eye as he looked over the little lady before deciding to let her off easy with this one, grabbing a rag and wiping his hands while replying with a quiet, “Alright, if ya say so, sunshine…”
He quickly pours Mabel a glass of water and then grabs a plate of bacon and pancakes. “Fer you, made just how you like it,” Mabel sits down in her chair as Fiddleford places the glass of water in front of her and a plate of pancakes and some bacon that is extremely burnt. “Burnt in a volcano.”
The brunette drinks some water first, happy to note that it actually does ease the pain in her throat! After that she eagerly grabs a burnt piece of bacon and shoves it into her mouth, loving the way flakey black residue smears onto her fingers and the overwhelming taste of what can only be described as ‘BURNT’ fills her mouth. She muffles out, “It’s perfect!” In between bites as Fiddleford chuckles at her antics and makes himself a plate. “Yer such an odd lil’ duck, honeydew! Only kid I’ve ever met who wanna me ta’ burn their meal!”
Mabel immediately shoots back, pointing at Fiddleford with a mouth full of bacon, “Tahts cause ohther peowple are COWERDS!!!”
The lanky man lets out a full on belly laugh as he grabs his plate and sits at the table, the two beginning to talk about anything that crosses their mind.
Stanford wasn’t going to join them for breakfast. He’s usually asleep at this time or buried in whatever notes he was currently writing.
…Mabel feels a little bad that she's kinda happy he wouldn’t join them… Her throat feels like it’s constricting all over again at the thought of those sickly yellow eyes and horrid laughter…
At some point while eating, Fiddleford makes a joke that makes Mabel loudly laugh, the sudden shout of laughter causing her to wince and try to grab at her throat. She stops herself a couple inches short of the grab and quickly puts her hand back down, but the damage was already done.
Fiddleford, concern coming back at full force, puts down his fork and immediately asks with a concerned tone, "Honey, is ‘ere somethin' wrong with ‘ur neck?"
Sweat began to bead on Mabel’s forehead and she tried to immediately brush off the concern with a not so convincing, "Whaaaaat, psh, nah!"
He raises an eyebrow at the clearly nervous little girl. "Mabel, if yer' hurt I'd like to know."
She starts to fidget in her seat, fingers wrapping together and her brown eyes darting away. "Look, it's not thaaaat bad you don't gotta worry about it-"
At the confirmation that she is indeed hurt makes him sit up and shoot back, "Well tha' just makes me MORE worried bout it!"
Unable to come up with anymore excuses Mabel plays with a fork in front of her, eyes locked with her plate. Fiddleford let out a soft sigh and leans closer to the brunette across the table and rests his hand on hers, a kind smile on his face as he gently adds on with that fatherly tone that immediately made Mabel feel better, "Darling, it ain't gonna get better if ya’ don't lemme help. I promise I ain’t gon’ get mad, ya hear?"
Mabel tentatively glanced up at the southern man’s soft green eyes and could tell he meant every kind word.
So, despite her promising to keep her injuries a secret, she takes a deep breath and nods her head, gingerly taking off the thick hand-made sweater to leave her neck and bandaged up arms exposed to the world. The lanky southern man’s eyes seem to grow more horrified every passing second.
"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph-"
Fiddleford jumps up from the table, almost making his plate fall off while doing so, quickly rounding the table and crouching in front of the brunette with green eyes filled with so much worry and horror.
He found himself fussing over the girl who had easily wormed herself into his and Ford's hearts and found himself growing even more sickened at every bruise and cut he found, though nothing could compare to that sinking feeling of dread he felt looking at Mabel's bruised neck.
He cupped the brunette’s face and could feel tears well up in his eyes as he stuttered out a confused, "W-wha'..., Mabel wha' on earth happened-" His heart breaking trying to even comprehend what could have happened to her.
On the opposite end, Mabel could feel her heart swell at Fidd's fatherly fussing, but tried to brush it off the best she could, not wanting him to worry about her.
"I'm fine really! I just, uh… tripped down the stairs…? …Yeah! Didn't want to worry you, haha!"
Fiddleford, who suddenly stopped paying attention to what Mabel was saying, let his eyes looking closer at the girl's neck before they widened in a horrifying realization.
"I… Is tha' a hand…?"
A rush of panic suddenly runs through Mabel as she tries to come up with some excuse to throw him off, something, anything!
"Fidd’s it's FINE! I just… uh… wore a sweater that was too tight…?” Goodness she’s screwed, even she was aware of how unsure she sounded.
Fiddleford still wasn’t paying attention. Instead one of his hands lowered from her rosy cheeks and ever so slightly touched her neck with the lightest of touches. His green gaze was analytical as finger traced down the bruised skin, talking to himself so quietly that even Mabel almost didn’t hear him as he quietly began to count.
“One, two, three, four, five, s-”
The blond cut himself off with a sharp inhale through his nose as the look of worry that had previously graced the southern man's face suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a look Mabel had never seen on his face before.
It was a quiet anger. The kind of anger that's terrifying to witness as it bubbles from deep inside but you refuse to let it show on your face, even as your hands begin to tremble and your vision goes red.
Without saying a word Fiddleford stood up and stayed completely silent, unable to say a word for about 10 seconds while his face was blank and unreadable. Finally, Fiddleford looked down at Mabel and gave a kind smile that didn't fully reach his eyes.
"Sweetie, could ya' stay here a sec? I have something importan' I need tha’… discuss… with Stanferd."
After finishing that statement he gently patted the top of her brunette head and walked out of the kitchen archway, turning the corner and heading up the stairs that lead to Stanford's room, walking with such silent intensity that it kinda frightened her.
After a couple moments of staying frozen in her chair she finally managed to shake off the feeling, realizing she had to stop Fiddleford! As scary as it would be seeing Stanford again after last night's… incident… she couldn't just let Fiddleford go confront Ford without the full story!
She sprang up from her chair and winced at the pain radiating from her back. Yep! Still definitely bruised!
Mabel rushed out of the kitchen and up the stairs. She stumbles to a stop at the end of the steps as she sees Fiddleford standing outside Ford's door, just as quiet as he was downstairs. He raises his hand and gives a firm echoing knock and she could faintly hear her young Grunkle respond with a strong, "Come in!"
She hates that she shivers a bit at his voice.
She hates that she's a little bit afraid of him.
Fiddleford doesn't respond and instead just opens the door and then quietly closes it behind him. The door doesn’t close all the way which makes a sliver of light from Ford's bedroom/study shine against the floor in the hallway.
Well... Fiddleford hadn't broken any windows or started yelling, so maybe, just maybe, he's going in there to calmly talk out the problem with Ford? Well, that was more wishful thinking on Mabel's part. She HOPES they will just, talk it out, and no one will get hurt...
A loud crash and shout echoed through the hallway.
A girl could dream can't she?
Mabel sprints to Stanford’s door, tripping over herself the whole way, and yanks open the heavy wooden door as quickly as she could.
When she finally pries it open she’s greeted with the sight of Fiddleford in the middle of trying to choke out Stanford, while Stanford is leaning against one of his smaller wooden cabinets, pushing Fidds away (to the best of his ability) with his foot, clutching his very bloody nose in confusion.
Mabel rushes in and pushes the southern man away from her bleeding Great Uncle to the best of her ability but Fiddleford upon seeing Mabel finally backs off from trying to murder Ford, but the look of pure anger firmly remains on his face.
Ford looks at Fiddleford with pure confusion as he pushes himself off the small wooden cabinet, clutching his bleeding nose all the while.
"F, what on earth has gotten into you!"
Fiddleford stared back with his mouth agape, absolutely gobsmacked, before finally yelling back, "Wha'- what's gotten into ME?! What's gotten into YOU Stanferd Pines!"
Fidds pushed past Mabel and jabbed his finger into the brunet’s chest.
"She's a lil girl?! How DARE you even lay a FINGER on her!"
"F what on earth are you talking about?!"
Fiddleford roughly grabs Ford's shoulders and pushes him to look towards Mabel with a surprising amount of force.
"SHE'S what I'm talkin' bout! Stanferd Filbrick Pines who gave you tha' idea ya' had tha' GODDAMN right to even lay a FINGER on her-"
Stanford couldn't focus on the rant Fiddleford poured into his ears instead his eyes state frozen on the disgusting purple mark staining Mabel's neck.
"Mabel… who-"
Stanford knelt next to the sweet girl who reminded him so much of Stanley in his youth and felt a familiar pang in his chest. That feeling he'd feel whenever Lee came home covered in bruises. That feeling to protect… and to hurt anyone who dares to hurt them.
"Sweetheart… who did this? What happened?"
Fiddleford scoffed. "Ya should know."
Ford shivered at how cold F had sounded. Out of all of his years of knowing him, Fidds had never sounded like this.
Then the meaning of those words finally hit him.
Stanford rushed to stand up and looked back to Fiddleford's furious eyes with his own look of disbelief.
"Y-... You think I did this?"
Fiddleford's eyes didn't change in the slightest.
"Ya'. Ya' I do."
"We've known each other for years, we went to college together, I went to your wedding, you are easily my best friend. Do you honestly think I'm capable of doing something like this?!"
"I used ta'," Fidds crossed his arms. "Now I ain't so sure."
Ford didn't know HOW to feel. This felt like a betrayal but not in the way Stanley's felt. He also felt offended. And hurt. And so many other emotions that were swirling in his chest.
"How? How did you even get it in your head that I had something to do with this!? How could you look at me and even IMAGINE me hurting her?! I can't even imagine myself hurting her! She's-"
"Hand."
Ford froze from his rant.
"What."
"Yer' tha' only one who coulda' done it. How do I know? Hand."
"Ya' always go on an' on about the statistics of someone' being polydactyly. About how different ya' are."
"I want ya' to look at how many fingers are on that handprint on 'er neck, look me in tha' eye, and tell me who's most likely tha' guilty party."
Stanford froze, his face turning white at the realization. He didn't need to turn around and investigate the bruise on Mabel's neck. He now knows it had 6 fingers. When you put all the facts together, one thing is clear.
He IS the most likely person to have done it.
But there's a problem with that.
He DEFINITELY didn't do it.
He glanced back at Mabel, who seemed to be nervously pulling at her nightgown the entire time. After a moment she finally glances up, but after looking into his brown eyes for less than a second she quickly looked back down.
He didn't do it. He knows he didn't.
But if he didn't, why did she look so scared of him?
He didn't do it…
…Didn’t he…?
❔—————————————❓
Now this is a bonus doodle based on an idea I had for the aftermath of this! Stanford is stuck mulling over this in his room and when he finally leaves he notes that Mabel isn't asleep on the couch like usual. So of course he freaks out and assumes she ran away, running all over the house in hopes of finding her. He runs upstairs to Fiddleford’s room and knocks frantically on his door to get him to help him find the missing girl.
Fiddleford opens the door looking annoyed and tired. When Stanford says he can’t find Mabel and that he’s looked everywhere the southern man cuts him off by instantly replying “I know where she is.” That instantly calms down Ford but he looks confused as he asks “You do?” To which Fidd’s opens the door a little bit more to show Mabel asleep on his bed.
Stanford lets out a soft ‘Oh.’ And just stands there, looking awkwardly at Fiddleford for a moment before trying to break the tension with a weak chuckle and asking “Did she want to have a sleepover?” The blond doesn’t even hesitate to reply back, “Yeah. Because she’s scared of you, Stanford.” And closing the door on the brunet’s face.
Stanford doesn’t move for what feels like forever before he heads back to his room, feeling a little sick.
Anywho, I’m done now!!!
I’m happy and sorry you read through all of that, you can leave now! 💥💥💥

edited by my lovely girlfriend @specialinterestshows 🥰🩵
word count: 10.3k
“Welcome! I’m Sam, and I’m the head counselor here at Camp Crystal Lake. We’re going to have a few days before the campers get here, so that will give you some time to learn the layout and ask for help with whatever you need. Does anyone have any questions for me right now?” Sam asked, looking around at the new and some returning counselors. You smirked as her eyes locked on yours, holding eye contact with you for a few seconds before shaking her head.
You could tell she was annoyed by your presence, having been at her house enough times to know how she acted when she was trying to pretend you weren’t getting on her nerves. Now that you were working at the camp she was in charge of for the whole summer, you were only going to make things worse.
“Dude, stop eye-fucking my sister,” Tara whispered as Sam started to answer your new coworkers’ questions.
“What? I- I wasn’t eye-fucking nobody, but especially not your sister,” you said, biting your lip as you realized that wasn’t believable.
Tara rolled her eyes, “Yeah sure.”
“Honest!” you try to argue, but Tara wasn’t having it.
You both knew you had a crush on her older sister since the moment you and Tara became friends. There were many sleepovers the two of you had had while Sam watched you, while her family was gone. Tara and you had been friends since the seventh grade and now that the two of you were adults, you wished Sam felt the same way towards you.
Since you didn’t think she would ever feel that way, annoying the fuck out of her was good enough. Sam didn’t own the camp, so she couldn’t fire you - in your mind that meant you were able to push her buttons more than usual. Of course, you never did it in front of Tara, considering she knew about your crush on her older sister for the longest time.
“(Your Name),” Sam called out, causing you to jump, “Come here.”
You did as you were told, getting closer to her as the counselors moved to get their stuff. You had zoned out, thinking about Sam so much that you didn’t realize she was handing things out to everyone.
As soon as you walked up to her, she smirked. “Good girl. Here’s your supplies for your campers when they get here. You’ll be in cabin two.”
You looked down at the ground, eyes widening as you noticed the black boots Sam was wearing. Between being called a good girl and seeing her boots, all you could think about was grinding against them while she praised you.
Shaking the thoughts of your head, you sighed, crossing your arms, “Samantha.”
Sam glared at you, “Stop calling me that.”
Bringing your hand up to your chin, you tapped it with one finger playfully, “Mm, no.”
You grabbed your stuff and walked away before she could say anything. Without looking at Sam, you knew she was still focused on you.
“Are you done doing that for today? It’s bad enough we’re going to be here all summer,” Tara complained as she sat her stuff down to get a drink of water from her bottle. “Instead of annoying her and poking the bear, why don’t you just make a move?”
You gave Tara a surprised look, “Make a move? What, so she can laugh at me and say no? I’d rather keep annoying her.”
Tara shook her head, “How do you know she would laugh at you?”
“She just would,” you sighed, “Would you like some help carrying your stuff to your cabin?”
“I’ve got it,” Tara said, picking her stuff back up. “Plus, Sam put me in cabin thirteen which makes no sense. What cabin are you in? I didn’t hear her when she said it.”
“Cabin two.”
Tara nodded, “You do realize Sam is in cabin one, yeah?”
“I figured, what about it?” you asked, unsure as to why Tara would bring it up. It didn’t matter to you if Sam was in cabin one or cabin twelve, you were going to annoy her just as much.
“You do realize that cabin one and cabin two are connected?” Tara informed you.
“Oh? I- well, I mean that’s fine, I’m confused as to why you’re pointing it out, to be honest.”
Tara sighed. “I just… I know you like to annoy her and we’re best friends, but she’s my sister.”
You gave her an odd look, unsure of what she was getting at. Yeah, you annoyed Sam a lot, but you genuinely did like her. “What are you trying to say?”
Tara got a bit closer to you. “I just don’t want to see her, or you, hurt.”
“Tara,” you started, “Me hurting her? I would never.”
Tara’s facial expression was unreadable when she spoke up again, “Then try not to annoy her more than what you already do. I don’t think you would intentionally hurt her, but after Richie… she puts up a big front.”
“Do you know something I don’t?” you questioned.
Tara tried her best to hide the smirk that was threatening to show, and if it was anyone else, she would be able to get away with it. Not you though, you knew the moment you asked her that she was fighting the urge to smirk.
“Got to go get set up, talk to you later,” Tara said, chuckling as she walked away.
You stood there for a few more minutes, trying to decipher what Tara was trying to get at, but you soon let it go - for now - as you headed towards cabin number two. You decided you were going to take a nap once you had your clothes and such all put away. You had a few days before your busy summer started and getting familiar with the camp could wait. Sleep could not, especially when all you could think about Sam – as well as what Tara was saying. Did Sam feel the same? Or did she know that Sam did not feel the same? You loved Tara like the sister you never had, but sometimes you wished she wasn’t so secretive when it came to important things.
“Hey, (Your Name), wait up!” a voice called out to you, causing you to stop in your tracks. You turned around, a smile spread across your face as both Chad and Mindy rushed towards you. You dropped your bags as soon as they got close enough to hug you. Chad went first, hugging you tightly and then as soon as he let go of you, Mindy gave you an even tighter hug.
“How have you been, babe?” Mindy asked as she let go of you.
“Pretty good, I’ve just been busy working and writing the book I started a bit ago,” you smiled. “How about you?”
“You still at that one place?” Chad asked.
“I’ve been good, movie theater has been doing good, I was surprised that they let me have the whole month off to do this,” Mindy said.
“I’m glad! And yeah, I’m still at that one job,” you groaned, “But honestly, I might quit when I go back home.”
“I don’t blame you, really,” Mindy said. “Well, if there’s a killer out in the woods with us and you die, then you wouldn’t have to quit!”
Both you and Chad glared at her.
“You know Sam wouldn’t let anything happen to (Your Name), the killer would be dead so fast,” Chad laughed.
Mindy hit his arm hard, glaring at him while you looked at both with confusion written all over your face. You now wondered if everyone knew something that you had no clue about. Tara was one thing – she’s Sam’s sister after all – but the twins? You were missing something and as much as you had your suspicions on what it was, you didn’t want to guess and end up wrong; you wouldn’t be able to look Sam or any of your friends in the eyes after that.
“Ow! What did you do that for?!” he whimpered, rubbing his arm.
“Ignore what he’s saying, he knows nothing,” Mindy rolled her eyes.
You sighed, wanting this conversation to end. You loved them, but all you really needed was to lay down and try and forget about the day. Looking at your watch and then back at the twins, you spoke up again, “Hey, I’ll talk to you guys in a bit, I have a bit of a headache and I’m going to be laying down for a few hours.”
Mindy and Chad said their goodbyes before they turned around. You had assumed they had already gone to the cabins they were staying in, since they didn’t have any of their stuff with them when they came up to you.
As soon as you got to the cabin, you dropped your bag on the floor before sitting on the nearest bottom bunk. You felt bad for lying to Chad and Mindy, but you were so overstimulated from everything going on so far. You got up once more to grab your pillow from your bag before laying down.
You awoke when a door was slammed shut. “What?! What's going on?” you shouted, sitting up quickly.
“You do realize there’s a room in between the cabins for the counselors to sleep and live in right?” Sam asked.
Her arms were crossed and you could tell she was annoyed. Unfortunately this time you weren’t even trying to annoy her, so it wasn’t fun for you.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered.
You cursed yourself for getting so shy when you were overstimulated. You looked down at the ground, refusing to even look at her.
“Oh,” Sam sighed. “You weren’t doing this to annoy me, were you?”
You shook your head, eyes still glued to the floor. The room was filled with an uncomfortable silence, but before you could say anything, Sam came up to you. Placing a hand on your shoulder, she rubbed it gently before sitting next to you.
“I didn’t mean to snap at you about it. Let me help you carry your bags to the room I was talking about, okay?” Sam spoke softly.
You nodded. “Okay.”
You stood up at the same time Sam did. You grabbed your backpack and your pillow while Sam grabbed your duffle bag.
“How did you carry this all the way here? You should have asked me for some help,” Sam sighed, grabbing the bag.
You followed her into the counselor’s room, setting your stuff down and she spoke up and pointed to the bed that was empty. “This is your bed, and over there is where you can put your clothes.”
“Thank you, S- Sam,” you said, finally making eye contact with her, “I appreciate it.”
“It’s no problem, really. We’re going to be here the entire summer, so I’d rather help you out now so I’m not worried about you the rest of the summer,” Sam explained herself, which made your heart drop.
A part of you wanted her to worry about you - attention from her was something you’d always craved. Now was no different from back then, other than the fact that you were an adult now.
“You have a point,” you sighed. “Is Quinn working here this summer?”
Sam gave you a dirty look. “Why? I mean, yes, but why?”
“Because I haven’t seen her in a while? We’re friends?” you said, unsure as to why she was asking that.
Quinn and you had dated for a short time, and although things didn’t work out well between the two of you, you were still really good friends. You figured she was just worried that you’d run back to Quinn after spending countless nights at Tara and her house after she had left you randomly. You were over the redhead, finally realizing that your crush on Sam was still present once you got over your first real heartbreak.
“Mhm,” Sam hummed, seeming to accept your response. “Anyway, I’m going to make sure everyone is settled in and that they don’t need my help. You can take a nap because I can tell you’re tired, and I won’t come in here as loud as I just did.”
“Thank you so much.”
Sam walked out with her clipboard and sunglasses and as soon as you knew she was gone, you put your things away in the drawers. Grabbing your stuffed animal, you put it at the head of your bed before you laid down.
You couldn’t help but think about how good Sam looked in her tank top. With her muscles on display, all you could think about was her pinning you down on the bed and fucking you over and over while you begged her to keep going.
You sat up and grabbed your MP3 player from your backpack before putting your headphones in. Once you were all situated, you laid back down with music blaring in your ears. You took a deep breath, slipping your hand into your shorts. You closed your eyes, moaning when you felt how wet you were through your underwear.
You ran your fingertips lightly against yourself, enjoying how good it felt. “Fuck, Sam, please don’t tease me,” you whimpered, unaware that Sam had already ducked back in to get her water bottle. She wasn’t trying to look, especially since you weren’t aware that she was there - that is, until she heard you moan out her name.
Finally, after a few minutes of teasing yourself through your underwear, you pushed your hand into them. Rubbing your clit lightly, you imagined Sam touching you whenever she wanted to.
“Please, Sam,” you moaned, “I’m yours.”
You sped up your movements, finally bringing a finger down to your entrance. You took a deep breath, trying to spread your legs, but your shorts weren’t allowing you to. Pulling your hand out of your pants, you quickly pulled them down, followed by your underwear. Kicking them off just as Mascara by Deftones started to play.
You spread your legs, bringing your hand back down to your pussy. You kept your eyes closed as you slid a finger inside yourself. You would normally work yourself up a bit more, but you were already so wet, all you wanted was to make yourself come a few times before Sam got back. The last thing you wanted was for her to see you like this, moaning her name when you weren’t even sure if she liked you. The last thing you needed was to make things awkward for the both of you the whole summer.
You added a second finger, curling them as you began to fuck yourself. “Faster, please, Daddy. Please, wan’ to come for you,” you cried out. You opened your eyes as you heard someone come up the stairs, pulling your hand out and pulling your pants and underwear up as quickly as you could.
Sam opened cabin one’s door and you used that time to make it look like you weren’t doing anything. When she opened the door to the counselor’s room, you opened the book you had brought, wanting her to not question what you had been doing while she was away. You turned your MP3 player off and set it on the nightstand.
“We’re going to be having dinner around seven-thirty, so you’ve got a few hours of free time to explore,” Sam informed you, smiling softly.
“I mean, if we have a few days before the campers even show up, I can explore tomorrow,” you sighed. “I’m so exhausted.”
Sam smirked, rolling her eyes. “Yeah, I bet.”
You gave her a confused look, but deep down your heart had just dropped. “Wh- What’s that supposed to mean, Samantha?”
You knew she hated it when you called her that, so you did, trying to get her to think that everything was okay. Sam’s smirk turned into a frown as she stood there – her eyes burning into you. You turned your head, realizing she was still staring at you and it made you nervous.
“Are you going to be a brat this whole summer, (Your Name)?” Sam asked, getting closer to you.
“What? I’m not being a brat?” You weren’t sure where this was coming from – for years when you annoyed Sam and pushed her buttons, she would just ignore you or make a petty comment back to you. But here she was, snapping at you.
“Stand up,” was all Sam said, but she gave you no room to not listen. She grabbed you by the arm, forcing you to stand up. “We’re going to get something straight here. You will behave this summer or you will not get anything from me, do you understand me?”
You nodded, getting the feeling as if Sam didn’t want you to talk at the moment.
“That means if I ask you to do something or anything, you will not call me Samantha, you will not talk back and for the record, between the two of us – you will not touch that pretty little pussy without my permission again. Got it?” Sam snapped.
You nodded in understanding, but that wasn’t good enough for Sam. Grabbing you by the throat, she squeezed lightly, before saying, “You can speak now, puppy.”
“Y-Yes, Sam, I got it,” you swallowed, licking your lips.
“Now, for years you’ve been annoying me with little things, poking the bear and then backing away, and for years I’ve been allowing you to do so. At first, I thought maybe you didn’t like me, but that wasn’t true because Tara would have dropped you the moment you said something to her… Then I got to thinking that maybe it was a crush you had and I had to make myself not believe that, because why would you have a crush on me? A few people told me you had feelings for me, but I couldn’t get myself to believe it… until today when you thought I wasn’t here, and you were masturbating. Granted, I had come back for my water bottle, and I was going to leave to give you some space and the privacy you needed,” Sam paused, getting closer to your face. You felt your cheeks heat up, hating how shy she was making you feel. “But then you started to moan my name, and I knew that this wasn’t just a one-sided thing, because if I didn’t have feelings for someone, I sure as hell wouldn’t be moaning their name. Am I wrong?”
“N- No, you’re not wrong,” you whispered, not wanting to keep her waiting for an answer from you.
“Good girl. See? It’s so much better when you behave, don’t you agree?” Sam asked.
“Yes, Sam,” you licked your lips.
“Now that we've discussed that part, tell me what you were thinking about when you were touching yourself,” Sam said, letting go of your neck to sit on her bed. She looked at you, waiting for your answer. “Well? Don’t keep me waiting. Tell me. Now.”
“You using me however you want while we’re here. Also obviously after the summer. I wanna be yours,” you admitted, keeping your eyes down onto the ground.
“Eyes on me, you look away and you’ll be going to bed with nothing but a sore ass and frustration,” Sam threatened, smirking as you shot your head up instantly without any hesitation.
“Good girl! Such a good girl,” Sam praised.
On instinct, you squeezed your legs shut, the ache between them was growing stronger. You weren’t sure how much of it you could take. Sam was actually into you, and although you were completely clueless, the more you thought about it, the more you knew you should have seen it. Between all the times Tara would smirk at Sam when she’d refuse to give you eye contact. Or how Sam would put up with you for the longest time when she could have easily told Tara to cut you off. Their relationship was extremely close, and you knew for a fact Tara would end your friendship if Sam didn’t like you.
“Aw, do you like being praised, baby?” Sam hummed, mocking you a bit to see how you’d reacted.
You bit your lip, trying to contain the moan that was fighting to come out. Her tone of voice and facial expression was not helping the ache between your legs and you needed her now.
“Please,” you whimpered, watching as Sam grabbed her backpack that had been on the floor. “I don’t think I can take any more. M’need you now, Daddy.”
Sam stopped her movements, taking a deep breath and you knew the effect you had on her. You tried your best to contain the smirk that was forming - not wanting to risk not getting anything from Sam. One thing you always knew about her: she always kept her word.
“You need me now, yeah?” Sam teased, bringing her hands to her belt buckle. “How do you need me?”
“Want you inside of me, want you to fuck me as hard as you can for all the times I’ve annoyed you. Please, Daddy. I can’t wait anymore, I’ll do anything,” you begged, hoping Sam would give in and give you what you needed.
Sam sighed, standing up from her seat to show you that her belt was unbuckled. She sat down next to you and you turned to face her.
“Yeah? You’ll do anything?” Sam questioned.
You nodded, watching Sam’s hand come up to you. “Suck” was all Sam said, bringing two fingers up to your mouth. You wrapped your lips around the digits, closing your eyes as you focused on getting them wet.
“Mm,” Sam hummed. “I bet you’d be so good at sucking cock huh?”
You smiled with her fingers still in your mouth, flinching a little as Sam wrapped her free hand around your throat. You continued to suck on her fingers, running your tongue through them.
“God I want you on my cock so bad,” Sam sighed, squeezing your throat lightly. “I brought one with me just in case, didn’t know you’d be this easy, but I kind of love that about you. You’re a whore, just a set of holes waiting to be filled by anyone.”
You shook your head as best as you could, trying to say “no,” but with her fingers in your mouth it was too hard to do so.
Sam pulled them out of your mouth before asking, “What was that?”
You took a deep breath, “N-Not anyone, just you. Want you to be the only one to fill my holes. Please, please just… please fuck me. I want you.”
“Aw, but I thought you needed me, baby?” Sam teased, smiling as you whined.
“I do need you!” you cried out, tears pricking at the corner of your eyes.
“But you’re so pretty when you’re all desperate for me, I think I’m going to keep you like this for a while. Now stand up and get your shoes on, we’re going to explore the camp so you know it by heart before the campers get here.” Sam stood up, a smile on her face as she made her way to the bathroom to wash her hands.
You sat there, trying your best to catch your breath and calm down before you could get up. You were stunned - unsure as to why Sam wanted to keep you waiting, but you knew you couldn’t argue with her.
You stood up slowly, grabbing your shoes as you tried not to think about Sam’s fingers inside of you. They felt good in your mouth and you knew they were going to feel so good when they were in your pussy. But for now, you kept quiet, slipping on your shoes while Sam grabbed her clipboard and water bottle.
“I’m ready,” you said, grabbing your own water bottle. The last thing you needed was to be dehydrated, especially in this heat.
“Good girl,” Sam praised, causing you to bite your lip. You wish she had just fucked you - until she would, you were going to try and be on your best behavior. “If you’re good for the rest of the day, after dinner I’ll fuck you.”
“You promise?” you asked, eyes wide as the two of you made your way through the cabin.
“I promise,” Sam said, “And I will keep my promise, as long as you keep yours to be a good girl and behave.”
When the two of you left the cabin, you ran into Quinn for the first time in a full year. She stopped the two of you, smiling at Sam before pulling you into a hug.
“Hey, (Your Name), how’s it going? I haven’t seen you in a bit, you look so good!” Quinn said, finally letting you go. You were too busy focusing on Quinn to notice the glare Sam was giving you.
“We should hang out soon, after the summer is over. Maybe catch up with dinner and a movie?” you suggest.
“I’d love that! Alright, I’m gonna go take a walk around the whole camp before dinner, I’ll see you two then!” Quinn said as she walked in the opposite direction that Sam and you were going.
“You realize you just asked her on a date, (Your Name)?” Sam asked as the two of you continued to walk.
“I- I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to,” you said, realizing that you had fucked up. Quinn was your ex-girlfriend, but she was still your friend. So in your mind, you thought you were just asking her to hanging out like friends do.
“I’m not upset with you,” Sam reassured you. “I know how you are sometimes, so I know you didn’t mean it like that.”
You looked at her. “But?”
“But it also means that I get to remind you that you belong to me,” Sam hummed.
”Oh,” you gasped, her words going straight to your pussy. You knew it wouldn’t have affected you that much if she hadn’t just worked you up before denying you even a single touch. At this point, you thought if Sam just touched you once you would come.
Sam ignored you as the two of you made your way around the corner. You sighed, putting your hands in your pocket, slightly jumping when Sam spoke up.
“So, what are you into?” she asked. Your cheeks heated up in embarrassment - you weren’t expecting her to ask you right there and then. You stayed quiet for a few minutes as the two of you continued to walk.
“Well,” you paused, taking a deep breath, “I haven’t done too much, but I know I like being choked, slapped, and spanked. I also like being face fucked and… well… I like anal, as well as being degraded.”
Sam smirked, looking down at the ground. “That’s very good to know. I’m into those things as a domme, and a lot more that I would love to try with you, if you want to. Doesn’t have to be now or during the summer; you’re more than welcome to come over. Even if Tara isn’t home, okay? I know this is a lot to take in and I do really like you, so I would love to spend time with you outside of sexual things too.”
You nodded, “Thank you for letting me know.”
Sam took your hand in hers, “I’ve liked you for a long time and I know we can’t do anything here, but I want you to know that I really do care about you…”
“I know you do, so why are you saying all of this?” you asked.
Sam pulled her hand away, bringing it up to her forehead to wipe the sweat. She turned to look at you once more and said, with a straight face, “Oh, because I plan on fucking you as if I fucking hate you, and I want to make sure that you know that I really do like you.”
Your eyes widened, quickly turning your head so Sam couldn’t see the look on your face. You knew you shouldn’t have been surprised, and yet, here you were.
“What?” Sam asked, bringing you out of your thoughts.
“I- nothing, just-“ you began, but she cut you off.
“Oh I know what it is,” Sam hummed. Her confidence was making things worse for the ache between your legs. “You love the idea of me using you roughly, making you feel as if all you’re good for is being a set of holes for me. But after, you can’t wait for me to hold and cuddle you and praise you for being such a good girl for me. Am I wrong?”
You shook your head, whispering, “No, you’re not wrong at all.”
You stopped walking, trying to catch your breath as you took a drink from your own water bottle. Dinner needed to get here sooner; you were hoping that after that, she would give you what you wanted.
“Do you need to sit down? We can rest for a bit if you need to,” Sam said, watching as you nodded.
She helped you sit down on the ground and then sat down next to you. Sam took a drink from her water bottle and when she sat it down, she turned to you.
“Pull your shorts down,” Sam said, watching as you nervously looked around. The two of you were tucked into a corner and even though no one could see you, you were terrified that someone might walk by. Especially Tara.
Although Tara seemed to want the two of you to be together, you were worried that she would be angry if she caught the two of you fucking. It was a silly thought, really, but as Sam tugged at the waistband of your shorts, you focused back on her instead of your anxieties.
“What… what if someone catches us?” you asked, still nervous.
”No one is going to catch us. And even if they did, I would make sure they didn’t say anything to anyone else. Do you trust me, (Your Name)?” Sam asked.
You nodded, “Of course, Sam.”
“Then pull your shorts and underwear down and I’ll give you a little something to keep you going until after dinner,” Sam said.
You did as you were told, pulling both down as you refused to look at Sam. When they were around your ankles, she pushed your legs apart, giving you a look to silently tell you to keep them open. You bit your lip as she wasted no time, bringing her hand between your legs.
“God, you’re so fucking wet. And it’s all for me, yeah?” Sam asked, even though she knew the answer to it.
“Y- Yes, only for you, Sam,” you whimpered as she rubbed at your clit as softly as she could. She was still teasing you, but you were just glad she was touching you.
“When I’m fucking you, you’re to call me ‘Daddy,’ understood?” she asked, pulling her hand away from you.
“Please-“ you began just before Sam spat on her fingers, bringing her hand back to your pussy.
Sam rubbed faster this time, not giving you a chance to ask for more when she slipped a single finger into you. She curled it, fucking it in and out of you. You bit your lip, trying to focus on not coming so soon - having been worked up for a while, you expected it, but you were still embarrassed by how close you already were. Sam noticed, still her finger inside of you mid-thrust.
“You’re so pathetic,” Sam laughed, slipping in a second finger, “You’re already so close and I’ve barely touched you… makes me want to keep you waiting even more.”
“No!” you cried out, “Please, Daddy, please don’t stop. I can’t take anymore teasing. Please.”
Sam shook her head, pulling her fingers out of you. You watched as she brought them to her face, taking both into her mouth. You let out a whimper as she sucked on her own fingers, humming at how good you tasted.
When she pulled them out of her mouth, Sam licked her lips. “You’ll take what I give you because I’m giving it to you. You’ll be a good girl and take it all, because that’ll make me happy. And you want to make me happy, don’t you?”
You nodded, “Yes, Daddy, I do… but-“
“No buts,” Sam cut you off rather quickly.
You sighed, pulling your pants back up. Before you could stand up, Sam stopped you.
“Sam,” you whined, your eyes widened when she grabbed your forearm, “Please stop teasing me.”
Sam’s smile grew wide, “No, I don’t think I will, baby. It’s too much fun.”
You rolled your eyes, frustrated with how close you were. You were desperate and you knew you weren’t going to be able to make it through dinner, let alone wait until tonight. Sam let go of your arm so she could stand. She stuck her hand out to help you up and you took it with no hesitation, despite how desperate you were. A part of you thought she was just doing all of this to fuck with you, and that at the end of the night, she was going to tell you that she had no feelings for you at all.
“Thank you,” you said, picking your water bottle up off the ground. You took a few sips before the two of you continued to walk.
”That building with the red roof is the arts and crafts room. It’s a single room that they used to use for storage, but decided it would be a better fit for something else with how big it is,” Sam pointed out. When you nodded, she continued. “The other building next to it is empty and is never used. We’re also not allowed to use it, but I go in there sometimes at night when I want some alone time to think.”
”It seems like a good spot to clear your head after a stressful day,” you agreed.
Sam seemed ready to say something else when Chad and Tara caught up with the two of you.
“Hey Sam!” Chad smiled, pulling her into a hug, “I see you two are getting along.”
You looked down at the ground in embarrassment, knowing that if Tara could see your face then and there, she would know something was up. The last thing you needed was for Tara to ask you a bunch of questions, because at the end of the day, you were horrible at hiding things from her. She was good at getting information out of you and you were sure she was going to want to know what was going on between you and Sam.
”Yeah, we had a bit of a talk and we’re now on the same page,” Sam said.
You could hear the smirk in her voice without even having to look at Sam, and you knew she was teasing you. You looked up at Tara, instantly regretting it when she gave you a knowing look. I’m so fucked, you thought to yourself as Chad nodded and went on to talk with Sam some more as the four of you began to walk together. You knew that the moment Tara got you alone, she was going to ask you what Sam meant by “being on the same page.”
Did Sam do it on purpose, to make it so you had to wait even longer? Or did she not mean for it to happen? You couldn’t really believe that she didn’t mean to do it, because she knew how her sister was.
”I didn’t realize how hot this summer was going to be,” you complained.
You were relieved that the building you had assumed to be the dining hall was approaching. You wanted to sit down in some air conditioning, and this was your chance to get it before dinner.
”Well, I’m gonna go and get changed for dinner, Tara, you coming?” Chad asked.
Tara smiled at him, “No, I think I’m going to stay with Sam and (Your Name), but I’ll see you when it’s dinner time.”
Chad walked away from the three of you. You felt the awkwardness when you all made it to the dining hall, unsure of what to say or if you even wanted to say something in fear that Tara would ask you questions in front of Sam.
“We can hang out here until it’s time for dinner,” Sam said as she opened the door, letting both you and Tara in first before she followed behind.
“The air conditioning feels so nice,” you groaned, sitting down at one of the tables.
“I agree,” Tara nodded.
“You two get comfortable, I’m going to see how the cooks are doing,” Sam said, patting your back before walking away from both Tara and you.
You started to play with your nails, wanting Sam to come back fast. Tara cleared her throat, causing you to jump.
“So I noticed that you and Sam are getting along better, and this is the longest you have gone without annoying the fuck out of her,” Tara commented, taking the seat next to you.
Suddenly you felt as if the walls were closing in on you, the anxiety making it harder to breathe. “Yeah, w- we, uh-“ you began, but she cut you off.
“I know you’re hiding something and that’s okay, I’ll figure it out, don’t worry,” Tara smirked. “I love you, (Your Name), but whatever the two of you have going on, please don’t fuck it up.”
You have her a puzzling look, “Why would I fuck anything up? If, you know, there’s something there… which there isn’t.”
“You’re such a bad liar,” Tara rolled her eyes. “I’m not supposed to say anything, but you are my best friend. Sam… ever since Richie… she’s been different when it comes to dating. Maybe me saying ‘don’t fuck anything up’ is the wrong word choice, so I apologize for that. She… I don’t know how to explain it.”
You looked down at the table, unsure of how to respond to that. You bit your lip, wanting Sam to get back to the two of you faster than she was.
“Please don’t let that be your reason for not trying,” Tara said, and you thought it was because she sensed your anxiety. “Also don’t tell Sam I said anything, she’d kill me.”
You looked up at Tara with a small smile. “You’re right about that.”
You weren’t entirely sure what she meant, but for the time being, you decided not to question anything. You were stuck at Camp Crystal Lake for the whole summer and the last thing you needed was to fuck everything up and have to deal with things being awkward for three months.
Of course, after the first camp week was over with, you could ask to change cabins. Tara would be the most up to doing it, you were sure of it. But you didn’t want that - you had been wanting Sam for years and you weren’t going to ruin your chance just because you wanted to ask questions. You and Tara sat in silence, waiting for Sam to get back. Finally after what felt like a full hour (but was really only about fifteen minutes), Sam appeared again.
“Sorry about that, Quinn and I were talking about a few things,” Sam said, trying to hide the irritation in her voice. You and Tara knew her too well; she was doing such a terrible job.
“Are you okay?” you asked without thinking.
“Yeah. Everything’s fine,” Sam snapped, taking a seat next to Tara instead of you. You knew you shouldn’t have been surprised - she was her sister - but you were a little hurt.
You frowned at Tara before looking back down at your hands. You hated feeling as if you had done something wrong, but you also knew Sam wasn't trying to make you feel that way.
You wished you had your phone so you could distract yourself from the thought of Sam being irritated with you.
“Hey Sam?” Tara asked, causing you to flinch a little.
You refused to look up, not wanting to see Sam glaring at you.
“Yeah?” Sam asked, her voice calmer than it had been.
“You need to lower your tone. (Your Name) was just asking if you’re okay because she cares about you,” Tara snapped, making your eyes widen. You had never heard Tara stand up to Sam like that - especially not on your behalf.
Sam took a deep breath, “I’m sorry, (Your Name), Tara is right. You were just asking out of concern and that’s on me.”
“It’s okay,” you said, finally looking up at her.
“Are you sure?” Sam asked.
For the first time, you saw real concern on her face and it melted your heart. You couldn’t believe that all of this was happening.
“I’m sure,” you nodded, “But please, try not to snap at me again. We just started talking and I want this to continue.”
“I’ll try my best, but I promise you did nothing wrong. Quinn just made a comment and it irritated me. I shouldn’t have taken it out on you when you were just worried,” Sam admitted.
“Thank you.”
Finally, the other counselors flooded in; it was time for dinner. You were relieved, realizing that you were starting to get hungry. You took your place in line and as soon as you got your food, you sat back down at the spot you were in before. You breathed a sigh of relief when Sam sat down next to you.
“Make sure you eat as much as you can,” Sam leaned in and whispered, “You’re going to need all the energy you can get. If you still want me to fuck you, that is.”
You nodded frantically, “I- I still want you to fuck me. More than anything.”
Sam smirked, “More than anything?”
You nodded again, “Yes, Daddy.”
You went straight to eating your food, not wanting to say anything more to Sam, fearing that someone might overhear. When Tara and Chad sat down across from you and Sam, you began talking to Chad about your favorite TV show. Sam stayed quiet, occasionally looking at you while you talked, in awe. You only noticed once Tara started to smirk at you.
When you were done, you excused yourself. Throwing your trash away and returning the tray, you made your way out the door and toward the cabin. You needed to change into something more comfortable, having walked around in the heat for most of the day.
You changed into pajamas and laid down in bed, deciding that you were going to try to take a quick nap before Sam got back to the cabin. Closing your eyes, you pictured how Sam was going to fuck - if she was going to fuck you, at least. You were still worried that she was only playing with your feelings as payback for how much you had annoyed her purposefully over the years. Although, if Tara and Chad both knew something positive, you don’t think they would let you think she was being honest if she wasn’t.
You couldn’t sleep, too excited to see what would happen. Just as you sat up, Sam came into the room. You watched as she sat her water bottle down on the nightstand next to her bed. She pulled her shirt off, revealing the black tank top she had underneath. You licked your lips, the sight of her muscles making you ache to see more.
”I can feel you staring, and if you want something, you need to ask,” Sam said firmly. “I’m not going to hand you anything, baby. You’re going to have to earn it.”
”Sam,” you whined, causing Sam to turn to you.
”Yes?” she responded, a mocking tone in her voice that made goosebumps form on your skin, “What would you like?”
”I…” you trailed off, the words refusing to come out right away.
“Use your words. Or did you forget how to use them? Hm?” Sam teased, getting closer to you. When you looked down at the floor, Sam grabbed your chin, forcing you to look up at her. “Oh I see what’s happening. When that pretty little pussy of yours gets all wet, you get fucking stupid. Is that what it is, pretty baby?”
You closed your eyes, “Yes, Daddy. Can’t think when I’m horny.”
Sam smiled, letting go of your chin. “Good girl. Don’t you worry about having to think anymore - I can do that for you. Now tell Daddy what you want and I’ll give it to you.”
”I want you to fuck me, I’ve been wanting it for so long,” you admitted, “Please, can’t wait any longer.”
Sam moved back to her bed, sitting on the edge while she raked her eyes over your body. “Strip for me.”
You did as you were told, pulling your shirt off and throwing it onto the ground. You then pulled your shorts down, kicking them off you as quickly as you could.
“Stand up and c’mere,” Sam ordered. You did as you were told, getting up quickly and moving towards her.
Sam placed her hands on your hips, turning around so your back was facing her. “You’re so fucking sexy,” Sam hummed, unclasping your bra. “I can’t wait to fucking ruin you.”
Sam hooked her fingers underneath the waistband of your underwear, slowly pulling them down. You bit your lip as you tried to be patient. Sam was taking her time and you hated it. As soon as your underwear was around your ankles, you kicked them off. Without a word, you turned around to face her.
“Did I say you could turn back around?” Sam asked, slapping your thigh hard.
“No, but-“ you began, but Sam cut you off with another slap in the same spot. You whimpered, watching as Sam licked her lips.
“So if I didn’t tell you to turn around, what should you do?” Sam questioned, crossing her arms over her chest as she waited for you to do what you were supposed to do.
You turned back around, your back facing her once more. Sam guided you to move a little bit before she stood up. You turned your head as best as you could, but Sam slapped your ass. “Did I say you could look at me?” she asked.
You turned your head back to look straight ahead, not wanting Sam to drag it out any longer than she had already. You closed your eyes as Sam began to grab your ass - whining when she removed her hands.
“Stay still,” she warned, standing up behind you. She pulled her tanked top off, then her shorts and underwear. “Bend over your bed for me.”
You were a little confused. Was she going to fuck you now? You’d think she would at least take a little time getting you ready. Despite your confusion, you did as you were told, bending over your bed right in front of her.
“Fuck,” Sam breathed, coming up behind you, “I want to fuck your ass so badly, but that can wait for different day.”
“D- Daddy,” you whined as Sam brought her hand down to your pussy.
“What is it?” Sam asked, slipping a single finger inside of you. When you didn’t respond, she spoke again, “Come on, answer me. Just because I’ve got one finger in you, doesn’t mean you’re allowed to be stupid.”
“M’need more,” you whispered.
Sam sighed in faux irritation. “You need more? Because it seems to me that you could come with me just fucking you with one finger, considering how much you’re squeezing.”
You cried out, “Please, Sam!”
“Fine,” Sam said, pulling her finger out of you. She brought it to her mouth, cleaning it off with her tongue. Pulling out from between her lips, she spat on her fingers before bringing them back to your pussy.
Sam slowly rubbed at your clit as she moved to sit on her knees behind you. She leaned in as she slipped two fingers into you, biting your ass before trailing her tongue all the way to your asshole. She tested the waters, circling her tongue around your entrance before pushing it in just a little.
“Oh- that’s,” you moaned, gripping the sheets. Sam’s tongue on your ass felt strange in the best way and you wanted her to keep going.
As Sam continued to fuck her tongue in and out of you, she kept the same pace with her fingers. You were usually shy the first couple of times you had sex with someone new, but everything felt too good for you to really care.
“D- Daddy,” you moaned. Hearing Sam chuckle against your skin brought you closer to the orgasm you were trying to fight off. “Please- Please, I’m so, so close. Please let me come.”
Sam pulled her mouth away and hummed, “Go ahead and come for your Daddy.”
You bit down on the sheets on your bed as you came, not wanting to be heard by anyone passing by. Sam pulled out her fingers, smacking your ass with the hand that was just inside of you. “Get on your knees,” she demanded.
You quickly obeyed, looking up at Sam with wide eyes. “Open,” she said, and you did as you were told. Opening your mouth as wide as you could without hesitation, you had no time to react as Sam shoved two fingers into your mouth. You gagged around them, trying your best to suck when she was pushing them deeper down your throat.
“God, you look so fucking pretty with tears in your eyes,” Sam praised, leaning down over you. “Close your eyes.”
You weren’t sure why she was telling you to do that, but you closed your eyes - doing as she had ordered. You flinched, pulling your mouth off her fingers when Sam spat on you.
“You want something else in your mouth?” Sam asked, smearing her spit across your face.
You took a deep breath, opening your eyes once you felt comfortable enough. You nodded and without a word, Sam gripped the base of the toy and brought the tip to your lips. You welcomed the toy into your mouth, pushing inch by inch until your nose touched her stomach. When you pulled off the toy, a string of drool was left connecting your mouth to it.
Sam jerked the toy off, spreading your drool all over it. “God you’re so fucking pretty. Come on, get back on my cock.”
You leaned back in, taking the toy in your mouth before Sam grabbed your head with both of her hands. She kept you in place while she began to fuck your face at a slow pace. You looked up at Sam, trying your best to suppress the gag reflex that was threatening to act up. Sam sped up her movements as she kept a firm grip on your head.
You gagged, causing your eyes to water - which made Sam pick up her pace. You breathed through your nose, trying to relax as she pushed you down further on it, making you gag again.
“You’re such a filthy fucking whore for me, letting me choke you with my cock when anyone can just walk in. I bet you’d like that, huh?” Sam teased.
Sam fucked your face harder, letting one of her hands come down to pinch at your nose. You pushed at her thighs as you tried your best to stay relaxed. Finally, Sam let go of your nose to slap your face as she continued to fuck your mouth.
Sam pinched your nose closed once more, this time she stopped thrusting to hold you down on the strapon. You gagged again, not once, but twice before Sam pushed you off her. You gasped for breath, as you wiped the spit from your mouth with the back of your hand.
“On my bed, on your back,” Sam said, grabbing her water bottle and taking a sip. As you went to lay down, Sam handed it to you. “Take a few sips - you’re going to need it.”
You did before handing the bottle back to her. Sam smiled, “Good girl.” She sat it down on the nightstand before climbing into the bed and between your legs.
“Spread your legs. Wider,” she said, reaching over to open the nightstand drawer to grab a bottle of lube.
You watched as she squeezed some onto her hand. Bringing her now-lubricated hand to your pussy, she rubbed it into you, causing you to whimper. “Now this is your first and final warning: I’m going to fuck you like you’re nothing to me and I want you to know that’s not the case. Okay?”
You nodded, “I understand. I want it, want you to put me in my place, Daddy.”
Sam rubbed the tip of the toy against your clit and through your folds. “You stop me at any time if you need me to, okay?”
“I will, I promise.”
“Good girl,” Sam said as she pushed the strapon all the way inside you.
You let out a pained cry as Sam fucked you at a bruising pace. You brought your hand down to rub at your clit, but Sam smacked it away.
“You don’t get to touch yourself, fuckin’ greedy whore,” Sam spat, bringing her hand up to wrap around your throat. She squeezed hard, causing you to choke as she continued to fuck you.
“Nothing but a set of holes for me to fuck,” Sam grunted, letting go of your throat. “If I knew how easy you’d be, I would have done this so much sooner.”
“Fuck, S- Sam,” you gasped.
“Shut the fuck up,” Sam growled, glaring at you.
Sam slapped you across the face, using her free hand to keep herself balanced. You whimpered, feeling yourself getting closer to your orgasm. You figured Sam sensed it as well, pulling out of you.
“What the-“ you began, but Sam slapped your pussy as hard as she could.
“How many fucking times do I have to tell you that toys don’t fucking talk?” Sam asked, shoving the strapon back into you. “You really do like to be treated like you’re nothing, huh? It’s really fucking pathetic.”
Sam picked up her pace once more, not saying a word as she focused on fucking you.
“Pleasepleaseplease,” you begged. You were once again on the verge of an orgasm, but Sam ignored you. ”Daddy.”
”Pleasepleaseplease, Daddy,” Sam mocked.
Sam brought her hands up to your nipples, pinching them as hard as she could. It sent you over the edge and - to your surprise - she fucked you through your orgasm, not stopping. Sam didn’t let up, she continued at the same pace.
“I- I’m coming aga-!“ you cried out, but Sam covered your mouth.
“I’m going to have to teach you to shut up, don’t I?” Sam moaned, feeling her own orgasm approaching. “Go on, come for me, my pretty little fleshlight.”
You came, this time unable to cry out as she continued to cover your mouth. Sam stopped for a moment, leaning over you and taking one of your nipples into her mouth after moving her hand away from yours. She bit down, pulling it between her teeth.
“Fuck, ow,” you whimpered.
You kept grinding against Sam while her strapon was still inside of you. Letting go of your nipple, Sam asked, “You want to come again?”
You nodded, “Yes.”
Sam licked your nipple before sitting up straight again. “Do you think you’ve earned it? You already came twice. I’ve got a greedy set of holes here.”
Sam slowly pulled out halfway, looking down and letting spit fall from her mouth and onto the toy. She pushed the strapon back inside of you, beginning at a slow pace this time.
“All you’re good for is being my fucktoy, yeah?” Sam questioned, holding your thighs in place. She didn’t trust you, knowing you would try to close your legs when she wasn’t paying attention. “Repeat it back to me, you stupid slut.”
“I- I’m only good for be- being your fucktoy, Daddy,” you repeated, earning a satisfied smile from Sam.
“Yeah you are,” Sam laughed, picking up the pace, “Is that why Quinn fucked you last week? Hm? Are you a set of holes for her? Are you?”
“I-“ you began, unsure of how Sam would know that or why she would bring it up.
It was true, Quinn had called you over to hang out like the two of you normally did, but as the night went on, with the way Quinn was looking at you, you caved and ended up letting Quinn fuck you. You just weren’t expecting Sam to know about it. Then it clicked - that’s why she was annoyed when she came back in from talking to Quinn.
“I- it just happened, fuck-“ you cut yourself as Sam brought her hand down to rub at your clit, “It won’t happen again, D-Daddy.”
“No, it won’t, because you’re mine,” Sam snapped, pulling the toy out of you.
You cried out, unsure why she did that. Sam crawled up the bed so the strapon was right in front of your face.
“Clean up your mess, whore,” Sam said, watching as you strained your neck to get the toy into your mouth.
Sam grew impatient, fucking your face at a rough pace. You gagged as the tip of the toy hit the back of your throat, making you cry. Instead of stopping for a moment, Sam continued to fuck your mouth at a rough pace.
“God, I can’t wait to use you anytime I want. And you’re going to let me, right?” Sam asked.
When you didn’t answer, Sam stopped mid-thrust. “I asked you a question and I expect an answer. Or should I go tell Quinn that you want her back?”
“Mm hm mm!” you tried to say, but it was difficult to speak with your mouth full.
Sam knew what you were trying to say, smiling down at you before she continued her thrusts again. You looked up at her again, your vision blurry from crying.
“You’re so fucking pretty when you cry,” Sam moaned, coming as she fucked your face with the strapon.
She took a deep breath before pulling out of your mouth. Sam wiped your spit from your mouth, rubbing it all over your face as you whimpered.
“Get on all fours,” Sam ordered.
You did as you were told, getting on your hands and knees as Sam got off the bed to grab something.
“Has Quinn ever fucked your ass?” Sam asked, grabbing a condom from her backpack.
“N- No, Daddy,” you whimpered, stopping yourself from turning to look at her.
You squeezed your eyes shut as you felt the dip in the bed. Sam was behind you, running her hand against the small of your back.
“Are you lying to me?” Sam asked.
You looked back at her, “I- I would never lie to you! She’s never fucked my ass because… well…”
“Because?” Sam pushed.
“I wanted you to be the one to fuck my ass, if there was a chance that you liked me,” you admitted, looking back down at the sheets. You were embarrassed, unsure of what Sam was going to say.
“You were waiting for me to be the one to fuck your ass, yeah? Am I hearing you right?”
You took a deep breath. “Yes, you heard me right.”
“Has anyone fucked your ass?” Sam asked, her voice much softer than has been all night.
“No.”
Sam took a deep breath before getting off the bed. “Then we won’t be doing anal at all this summer. I’m not going to be rough the first time with you. Okay?”
“Okay,” you said, getting out of the position to sit at the edge of the bed, “Are you upset with me?”
“Oh no,” Sam said softly. “Why would I ever be mad at you?”
“Quinn… A week ago I didn’t know this was going to happen between us, but I promise, I only want you,” you reassured her.
Sam sat down on the edge of the bed with you, wrapping her arm around you. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Sam asked with a concerned look on her face.
You shook your head, “Not at all, I had a lot of fun.”
“I’m so glad,” Sam smiled. “You were such a good girl for me, y’know that?”
You bit your lip as you felt your cheeks heat up. “Thank you.”
“Of course. Now let’s get you all cleaned up.” Sam stood up, grabbing a washcloth from her drawer. She walked into the bathroom and came back out.
She helped wash your face off, then your thighs, occasionally leaving soft kisses on your arm and shoulder.
Sam threw the washcloth on the floor and you assumed she was going to get it later. “Would you like to wear something or would you rather sleep naked?”
“I’ll sleep naked,” you said. “Can we cuddle?”
Sam laid down on the bed, patting the space next to her. “Of course we can.”
You laid down next to her on your side, closing your eyes and smiling to yourself. You weren’t sure how you got this lucky, but you were glad that you finally got what you had wanted for years.
“I’m sorry if that killed the mood,” you said.
Sam wrapped her arms around you. “Nothing you did killed the mood, I could just tell you needed a break. Plus, I’m in no rush considering we have all summer and after. I would tell you if you did something to kill my mood.”
“Okay.”
You quickly fell asleep, feeling safe in Sam’s arms.

Rooster's Shadow
SUMMARY: When Carly Bradshaw, Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw’s younger sister, starts college near her brother’s TOP GUN base, she’s excited for a fresh start. A surprise night out with Rooster introduces her to Jake Seresin, the charming and cocky Navy pilot known as Hangman. As Jake’s attention shifts to Carly, their undeniable chemistry leads to a series of flirtatious encounters that challenge Carly’s feelings and Rooster’s protective instincts.
WORD COUNT: 5.4k(I may have got a little carried away with this one.)
Warnings: Alcohol Use.
PART 2: HERE
You stood at the curb outside your apartment building, shielding your eyes from the setting sun as you waited. It was one of those warm San Diego evenings, the kind where the heat clung to your skin but the ocean breeze kept things from becoming unbearable. You’d only been at San Diego State for a few weeks, but it already felt like home.
Soon enough, you heard the familiar rumble of an engine and looked up just in time to see your brother’s old Ford truck rounding the corner. The paint was faded, and the engine made a sound like it had seen better days, but to you, it was as much a part of your childhood as the Bradshaw name itself.
Bradley pulled up to the curb, one arm hanging casually out the window. His aviators reflected the buildings across the street as he leaned over to smile at you. “Hey, Carls.”
“Hey, Brad.” You grinned, throwing your backpack into the bed of the truck before hopping into the passenger seat. The familiar scent of sun-warmed leather and your brother’s cologne hit you instantly, bringing you back to summer road trips and late-night talks. He had on his usual–a white tank top under an open Hawaiian shirt, and jeans worn soft from too many flights and not enough time at home.
“Ready to be my wingman tonight?” he asked with a teasing glint in his eye as he shifted the truck into drive and pulled away from the curb.
You smirked, buckling your seatbelt. “As long as you don’t embarrass me, Lieutenant.”
He chuckled, rolling down the windows as the wind whipped through the cab. “No promises.”
The drive from your apartment just off campus to the bar was short, but it gave you and Bradley time to catch up. The conversation was light but familiar–family updates, your classes, his work. You could tell he was happy to have you so close by, though he’d never say it outright. His protective streak had always run deep, and being stationed just fifteen minutes from your dorm gave him more opportunities to check-in.
“So, how are the classes?” he asked, glancing over as the truck rumbled down the highway. “Making any friends yet?”
You shrugged. “A few. It’s only been a few weeks, so…I’m still getting used to it. A lot different from the online classes I’ve done the past three years, though.”
He nodded, his hand tapping the steering wheel. “You let me know if anyone gives you a hard time. I’ll come scare ‘em off.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help smiling. “What are you gonna do, march onto campus in your uniform?”
“If I have to,” he joked before his tone softened a bit. “But seriously, Carls, I’m glad you’re here. I missed you.”
You glanced at him, warmth spreading through your chest. “Missed you too, Brad.”
A comfortable silence fell between you two as the truck neared the bar. The lights of the base flickered in the distance, and you knew that while tonight was just for fun, something bigger was looming for your brother.
By the time you and Rooster walked into the bar, the place was starting to fill up. The music was loud, and the chatter of off-duty officers filled the air. You followed your brother through the crowd, the scent of beer and cheap cologne mixing with the ocean breeze still lingering in the air from outside.
Bradley’s eyes scanned the room, and you noticed the way his expression softened when he spotted a few familiar faces near the back. Before you could ask who they were, a voice called out, sharp and playful.
“Bradshaw!”
Your brother turned toward the sound, a smile already forming on his lips. A woman in a tan uniform, her hair pulled back into a tight bun, was leaning over a pool table, cue stick in hand. Her gaze flicked from your brother to you, eyebrows raised in surprise.
“This is how I find out you’re stateside?” she asked, her voice teasing but with an edge.
Bradley gave a sheepish grin, pulling off his aviators. “Yeah, I just thought I’d surprise you.”
Phoenix let out a small chuckle before bending over to take her shot. As she lined it up and brought her elbow back the end of the cue stick rammed into your brother’s lower abdomen, making him grunt and hunch over.
She glanced at him with a smirk, “I guess I surprised you back.”
Bradley straightened, rubbing his stomach as he chuckled. “It’s good to see you too.”
Phoenix gave him a grin and turned to you. “Who’s this?”
Your brother placed a hand on your shoulder. “Phoenix, this is my sister, Carly.”
Her handshake was firm, and the look she gave you was one of genuine curiosity. “Nice to meet you, Carly. You ever been to a place like this before?”
You shook your head with a smile. “Not exactly.”
Just then, another airman strode into view, catching your eye immediately. He wore the same tan uniform as many of the other in the bar, but the way he carried himself was different–more confident, almost too sure of himself. His dirty blonde hair was slicked back, and his hazel-green eyes were sharp, and calculating. But what really caught your attention was the smirk playing on his lips, like he was always on the verge of saying something cocky.
“Bradshaw, as I live and breathe,” he said, his voice dripping with that trademark arrogance.
Your brother’s expression tightened as he muttered, “Hangman. You look…good.” Hangman’s smirk widened.
The tension between them was almost tangible as Hangman sauntered up to the pool table, taking a cue stick from Bob, another airman you’d just met. Hangman leaned over to take his shot, and his gaze flicked toward your brother.
“Well, I am good, Rooster,” he said, his eyes gleaming as he sank a ball into the corner pocket with an impressive shot. He stood up, flashing that smile at you now. “In fact, I’m very good. Too good to be true.”
You rolled your eyes, resisting the butterflies that fluttered in your stomach. Sure, he was attractive–annoyingly so–but his cockiness was more than enough to keep you grounded.
Just as you were about to fire back a remark, another airman interrupted, asking something about the special detachment they had all been called in for. Hangman shrugged, eyes still on your brother. “A mission’s a mission. What I want to know is who’s gonna be team leader.”
Bradley scoffed. “Hangman, the only place you’ll lead anyone is an early grave.”
The crowd around the pool table erupted in playful jeers, but Hangman didn’t flinch. He just strolled over to your brother, a confident swagger in his step. “Rooster, aren’t you going to introduce me to your friend? Where are your manners?”
Your brother’s eyes narrowed, as he stepped slightly in front of you. “Hangman, this is my sister, Carly.”
Hangman’s smirk turned downright devilish as he extended his hand to you. “Carly,” he repeated, his voice softer now, more personal. He lifted your hand to his lips, pressing a quick kiss to the back of it. “A pleasure.”
You rolled your eyes again, but the warmth of his touch lingered longer than you wanted to admit.
“I love this song,” Hangman said, grinning as the jukebox blared louder. He turned away, strutting back toward the pool table like he owned the place.
Phoenix sidled up to you and Bradley, watching Hangman with a smirk of her own. “Well, he hasn’t changed.”
Bradley let out a long breath. “Nope. Sure hasn’t.”
As the pool game wrapped up and your brother wandered off to the piano, you noticed Hangman making his way back toward you. His grin was all charm and trouble as he approached, leaning casually on the edge of the table, his eyes scanning your face.
“So, Carly,” he drawled, his voice smooth and confident. “What’s a girl like you drinking tonight? Let me guess, something sweet? Or maybe you’ve got a stronger taste?”
You rolled your eyes, already anticipating where this was going. “I can handle my drinks just fine, thanks.”
“Now that I don’t doubt,” he said with a wink, standing up straight and gesturing toward the bar. “How about I get you something? On me.”
Before you could even consider your response, Bradley appeared, sliding smoothly between the two of you. His broad frame blocked Hangman’s view as he handed you a cold bottle of beer, his expression neutral but his intent clear.
“She’s already taken care of,” Bradley said, his tone casual but firm.
Hangman’s smirk didn’t falter. If anything, it grew wider, like he relished the challenge. He raised his hands in mock surrender. “Well, I see big brother’s got it all under control,” he teased, glancing between you and Rooster. “But if you change your mind, Carly, you know where to find me.”
Your brother didn’t bother with a reply, but you couldn’t help but notice the way Hangman’s gaze lingered on you just a little longer before he turned and strolled back toward the pool table, a mischievous glint still in his eyes.
Rooster took a swig of his beer, his eyes scanning the crowd for a moment before he turned to you. “You alright?”
You nodded, trying to suppress a smile. “You know, I can handle him, right?”
Bradley huffed softly, his lips quirking into a half-smile. “Oh, I know. But he’s Hangman. He’s a whole different level of annoying.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at that, taking a sip of your beer and glancing back at Hangman, who was already chatting up someone else, though his gaze flicked in your direction now and then. Something told you this wasn’t the last time he’d try.
The night had settled into a comfortable rhythm. You were sipping a drink and chatting with Phoenix while Rooster hovered nearby, keeping a watchful eye on you. Despite his relaxed exterior, you could tell he was in full “protective brother” mode. Every time a guy so much as glanced your way, he subtly moved closer.
You were about to tease him when you felt a presence behind you. Turning around, you found Hangman standing there, that familiar cocky grin plastered across his face.
“Enjoying yourself, Carly?” he asked, leaning casually against the bar, his hazel eyes gleaming with mischief.
“More than you’d think,” you replied, keeping your tone light but guarded. Something about Hangman’s smug confidence set you on edge, though you couldn’t deny the way your heart skipped when he was around.
He twirled the pool cue in his hand before setting it aside. “How about you let me show you a good time on the dance floor?”
Before you could answer, your brother’s voice cut in from behind you. “She’s fine where she is, Hangman.”
Bradley stepped up next to you, folding his arms across his chest as he fixed Hangman with a pointed stare. The tension between them was palpable–old rivalries and new challenges seemed to swirl in the air, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Hangman’s grin only widened. “Easy there, Bradshaw. Just offering to be a gentleman.”
He straightened up and without missing a beat, grabbed a couple of the darts off the wall. “Tell you what, Rooster. Let’s settle this like men. A friendly game of darts–nothing too serious.” His eyes slid over to you for a second, then back to your brother. “Winner gets a dance with Carly.”
The challenge hung in the air for a moment, the weight of it thick between them. Bradley’s jaw clenched, and you could feel the tension rolling off him.
“I’m not letting you use my sister as a prize in your stupid games, Hangman,” Bradley shot back.
Hangman raised his hands in mock surrender. “Hey, it’s just for fun. Think of it as a little competition between friends.” His smirk never wavered. “Unless, of course, you’re afraid of losing.”
That did it.
Bradley’s eyes narrowed, and before you knew it, he was reaching for the darts in Hangman’s hand. “Fine. But when I win, you’re gonna drop this whole act and leave her alone.”
Hangman laughed, his voice low and smug. “You’re on, Bradshaw.”
The two of them moved to the dartboard, drawing the attention of everyone nearby. The crowd formed around them, cheers and laughter erupting as the stakes were set. You could feel the pit of anxiety in your stomach, torn between not wanting to be a part of this thing and being slightly curious about how it would all play out.
The game was fast-paced, with both men throwing with precision and confidence. Hangman’s throws were smooth and casual–he made it look effortless. Bradley, on the other hand, was more calculated, taking his time with each throw. The score stayed close, and by the time they reached the final round, it was almost neck and neck.
You could see the concentration on Bradley’s face as he took his last shot, hitting just off-center. Hangman smirked, stepping up for his final throw. With a flick of his wrist, the dart flew through the air, hitting dead center, giving him the two-point win.
The room erupted in cheers as Hangman turned to face Bradley, his grin smug and victorious. “Guess that means I get the dance.”
Bradley’s jaw clenched, and you could see the muscles in his neck tighten. He gave you a look–one that told you exactly how he felt about this. But you also knew there was no backing out now.
Hangman stepped over to you, offering his hand with an exaggerated bow. “Shall we, Carly?”
You hesitated for a split second before placing your hand in his. The crowd parted as he led you to the small dance floor near the jukebox, the music shifting to a slow, steady rhythm.
Hangman wasted no time, pulling you close as his hand rested lightly on your waist, his other hand intertwining with yours. His touch was firm and confident, and the way he moved made it clear he knew exactly how to command a dance floor.
“I’ve been waiting for this,” he murmured, his breath warm against your ear as he twirled you out and then back in, using the movement to subtly draw you closer. His body was solid against yours, and though you could feel Rooster’s eyes burning into your back from across the room, a small part of you couldn’t deny the strange excitement building inside you.
“You’re enjoying this way too much,” you said, trying to sound casual, but your voice came out quieter than you intended.
He chuckled, low and deep. “I can’t help it. There’s something about you, Carly Bradshaw. You know how to make a guy work for it.”
Before you could respond, he twirled you again, the spin making your heart race. This time when he pulled you back, his hand stayed on your waist, fingers pressing just a little harder. “You know,” he whispered, his lips brushing the shell of your ear, “your brother’s not gonna be able to keep me away from you forever.”
Your breath hitched, and you felt a mix of heat and frustration rise in your chest. You wanted to say something snarky, something that would put him back in his place, but the way his voice dropped to that smooth, confident tone made your thoughts scatter.
Hangman leaned in closer, his lips just inches from your neck. “Tell me, Carly, are you having fun yet?”
Before you could answer, your brother’s voice cut through the haze of the moment.
“That’s enough.”
Bradley stepped forward, his expression hard as he glared at Hangman. He reached for your hand, pulling you back toward the group.
Hangman released you, but not before giving you one last smirk. “Thanks for the dance, sweetheart.”
Rooster led you back to the bar, his hand still wrapped protectively around your wrist. He didn’t say anything, but you could feel the tension rolling off him in waves. Your head was spinning, caught between your brother’s overprotectiveness and the undeniable pull you’d felt toward Hangman during that dance.
You glanced back at the dance floor where Hangman stood, hands on his hips, that same infuriatingly cocky grin still playing on his lips. For the first time tonight, you found yourself wondering if there might be more to him than just the arrogance.
The bar had started to quiet down. The crowd thinned as people drifted toward the exits, some stumbling out in groups, others pairing off into couples. Your brother, now a little less tense after the confrontation with Hangman–or maybe just because of the beer and the brunette he was laughing with–had finally loosened his protective grip on you. For the first time tonight, you felt like you could breathe.
Needing some space, you slipped away from the crowd and stepped outside onto the bar’s patio. The night air was crisp, a welcome contrast to the warmth and noise inside. You inhaled deeply, letting the cool breeze calm your nerves. It felt good to be alone for a moment, without anyone watching over your shoulder.
You leaned against the railing, looking out at the lights in the distance, your mind wandering. You hadn’t expected the night to take so many twists, especially not with Hangmanand that dance. A small part of you was still processing what had just happened.
The creak of the door behind you caught your attention, and you turned to see Hangman stepping out onto the patio. His usual swagger seemed dialed back, the cocky grin replaced by something more subdued.
“Didn’t mean to interrupt,” he said, his voice quieter than before as he walked over and stood beside you. “Just needed some fresh air.”
You raised an eyebrow, half-expecting him to launch into another flirty remark, but he didn’t. Instead, he leaned against the railing next to you, his eyes scanning the view ahead, not pushing for your attention like he usually did.
“You’re not interrupting,” you replied, surprised at how different he seemed out here, away from the bar and your brother’s watchful eye.
There was a beat of silence before he spoke again. “You’re not what I expected.”
You glanced at him, curiosity piqued. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
He smiled, but it wasn’t the usual cocky smirk. This time, it was softer, almost thoughtful. “I figured Rooster’s little sister would be a lot like him–, cocky, chip on your shoulder. But you…you’re different. Quieter. More thoughtful.”
You didn’t know how to respond to that, so you stayed quiet, letting him continue.
“I guess I’m just intrigued,” he said, his eyes now on you, serious for once. “You’re not like the girls I’m used to.”
You scoffed lightly, shaking your head. “I’m sure you say that to every girl you meet.”
He chuckled softly but shook his head. “Not this time.”
There was something in the way he said it that made you pause. You turned to face him fully, searching his expression for any hint of the arrogance you were used to. But it wasn’t there. Instead, he looked almost…genuine.
“Jake,” he said after a moment, holding out his hand. “My name’s Jake Seresin.”
You hesitated for just a second before placing your hand in his. “Carly.”
“I know,” he replied, his grin returning, but it was more playful than smug this time. “But I figured it was time we met properly.”
For a moment, you forgot about the dance, the challenge, the tension from earlier. Out here, in the quiet of the night, Jake felt different–less of the cocky, overconfident pilot, and more like just a guy who was trying to figure you out.
“So, is this the real you?” you asked, crossing your arms as you studied him. “The guy behind the callsign?”
He shrugged, his gaze thoughtful. “Maybe. Or maybe it’s just easier to drop the act when your brother’s not around to kill me.”
You laughed despite yourself, the tension in your chest easing a little more. “Bradley’s not that bad.”
“Right,” Jake said, smirking again. “Tell that to the look he gave me earlier.”
The two of you fell into a comfortable silence, the distant hum of the bar fading into the background. It was strange–how different things felt out here compared to inside. No loud music, no crowd, no watchful brother. Just you and Jake, standing side by side, and for the first time tonight, you weren’t entirely sure what to think of him.
“Thanks for the dance, by the way,” Jake said after a while, his voice softer again. “Even if your brother was ready to drag me off the floor.”
You smirked. “You’re lucky he didn't.”
“Yeah,” he agreed, “but it was worth it.”
There it was again–that strange shift in him, the one that made you wonder if there was more to Jake Seresin than just the swagger and the teasing. You found yourself wanting to know more, to see if this version of him, the quieter one, was the real deal.
As the minutes wore on, the cool breeze continued to swirl around you both, and the noise from inside seemed to grow more distant. Jake’s presence beside you was no longer overwhelming, no longer something you had to guard against. For the first time since you’d met him, you started to let your guard down just a little, wondering what might happen next.
The night air had cooled you off enough to shake off some of the tension, but the moment you stepped back into the bar, you were greeted by the buzz of conversation, the clinking of glasses, and the steady beat of the music. It wasn’t as crowded as before, but there were still enough people milling around that it took you a second to spot your brother.
Bradley was leaning against the bar, and the brunette from earlier was practically draped over his arm, laughing at something he’d said. He caught sight of you before you could make your way over, a knowing smirk already creeping onto his face.
“You alright, Carly?” he asked, the teasing tone in his voice impossible to miss. He shot a glance at the brunette, who hadn’t even noticed you’d walked up. “Looks like you got some fresh air.”
You nodded, giving him a small smile. “Yeah, I’m good. You look like you’re about to call it a night, though.”
Bradley laughed, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “Depends on what you mean by ‘call it a night.’” He gave the brunette a playful nudge, which she returned with an exaggerated giggle. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes.
“So I’m guessing you’re okay catching an Uber back to your place?” he asked, clearly banking on your answer so he could make his next move.
You waved him off. “Go. I’m a big girl, Bradley. I’ll be fine.”
He raised an eyebrow, giving you a once-over that told you he wasn’t totally convinced. His eyes scanned the room, almost as if trying to figure out if Hangman was still around. But the brunette tugged on his arm again, and his attention wavered.
“You sure?” He hesitated, but you could tell his focus was already drifting.
“I’m sure,” you reassured him. “Go have fun.”
Bradley flashed you a grateful smile, and with a quick, brotherly squeeze on your shoulder, he turned back to his date. You watched him leave, the brunette still glued to his side, before turning back toward the bar.
And that’s when you saw him. Jake–no, Hangman–was leaning casually against one of the high-top tables, the cocky grin firmly back in place. Gone was the serious, thoughtful version of him from outside. Now, the cocky swagger was back, all confidence and charm as he zeroed in on you, his eyes glinting with the same challenge from before.
“Well, look who it is,” he drawled, sauntering over to you, the grin never leaving his face. “Didn’t think he’d ever leave.”
You raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms as you met his gaze. “Surprised you’re still here. Thought you’d be off chasing another challenge by now.”
He chuckled, stepping closer. “Oh, I’m not done with this one yet.”
You tilted your head, eyeing him with a mixture of amusement and skepticism. “You think you’ve got me figured out, don’t you?”
His smile widened, and he leaned in just enough for you to catch the hint of his cologne. “I know enough.”
There it was–the cocky, overconfident Hangman, back in full force. But this time, you weren’t about to make things easy for him. If he was going to make a pass, he’d have to work for it.
“Do you?” you asked, your voice teasing as you took a step back, letting him chase just a little. “Because I’m not as easy as you might think.”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. “I never said you were easy. Just a challenge I’m more than willing to take on.”
You smirked, playing along. “You’re gonna have to do better than that, Lieutenant.”
“Oh, I plan to,” he said smoothly, his voice dropping just a bit, his eyes never leaving yours. “You just tell me where you want to go, and I’ll take you there.”
His confidence was palpable, but you weren’t about to let him get the upper hand so quickly. Not tonight.
“Where I want to go, huh?” you mused, your fingers brushing against the edge of the bar as you leaned casually against it. “And what makes you think I’m going anywhere with you?”
He stepped closer, closing the distance, his gaze flicking to your lips before meeting your eyes. “Because you want to,” he said, his voice low and sure.
And damn, he was right. You could feel the heat rising between you, the tension crackling in the air like electricity. There was no point in denying it–you did want to go home with him. But if he was going to play this game, you were going to make him earn it.
“Maybe I do,” you said, your voice softer, just enough to keep him guessing. “But I’m not just going to hand it to you, Hangman.”
His grin widened at the challenge, his eyes glinting with excitement. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
You could feel the pulse of the bar fading into the background as the two of you locked into this game. Jake’s presence was intoxicating, and the way he looked at you–like he knew exactly what he was doing–was enough to make your pulse quicken. But if he was going to get what he wanted, he was going to have to prove it.
He reached out, his fingers grazing yours in a way that made your breath catch. “So, what do you say? One more round of drinks? Or are we skipping straight to the good part?”
You smiled, tilting your head as you studied him. “I’ll take you up on that drink,” you said, your voice low and teasing. “But after that? You’ll just have to wait and see.”
His eyes darkened with intrigue, and for the first time, you felt like you had the upper hand. Jake may have been used to getting what he wanted, but tonight? Tonight, he was going to have to play by your rules.
The next song that filtered through the bar was slower, and sultry in its rhythm. You felt Jake’s hand on the small of your back before you could fully turn away, guiding you once more to the center of the room. But this time, the energy between you had shifted. Gone were the playful twirls from your last dance, replaced by something much more intimate.
He didn’t give you a chance to object–not that you were planning to. His chest pressed firmly against your back as his hands slid down your arms before coming to rest on your hips, directing your movement with the sway of the music. The air between you was thick with tension, his breath hot against your ear, close enough that you could feel the ghost of his lips hovering above your neck.
You found yourself leaning into him, letting the warmth of his body seep through the thin fabric of your tank top. You could feel every muscle in his torso, taut and solid against you, as his fingers gripped your hips just tight enough to send a shiver down your spine.
“You’re trouble, aren’t you?” he whispered low into your ear, his voice sending a jolt of electricity down your spine.
Your lips curled into a teasing smile. “I think you’re the one looking for trouble.”
Jake chuckled softly, the sound vibrating through his chest and into your back. His hands tightened their grip for just a moment, grounding you in the moment, and making your pulse quicken. Your inhibitions, dulled by the alcohol and the charged atmosphere, slipped away as your hand slid up into his hair, fingers tangling in the soft, dirty blonde strands.
He let out a breath, his head tilting slightly into your touch, his body responding to your every move. The tension between you two was undeniable now, the room shrinking until all you could feel was him.
As the song played on, your confidence only grew. You pressed back against him, feeling the firmness of his body as he guided your movements, your hips rolling in sync with his.
His lips brushed the shell of your ear, so close that you could almost feel the words he whispered. “Careful, Carly,” he murmured, the warning laced with just enough desire to make your skin flush. “I might not be able to hold back much longer.”
The intensity of his voice sent a surge of heat through you, but you weren’t about to let him off that easy. You glanced over your shoulder, catching the way his eyes darkened as they met yours. “Who said I want you to?”
The words hung in the air between you, daring him to take things a step further.
Jake’s eyes darkened further as your words hung in the air, an in a heartbeat, he’d made his decision. With a low growl of approval, he slid his hands from your hips and grabbed your hand, lacing his fingers through yours.
“I’m going to hold you to that,” he murmured, already tugging you toward the bar counter where Penny stood, casting the two of you a knowing look. Jake’s free hand reached for his wallet, pulling out a card to quickly close his tab. You noticed the way his thumb lightly brushed against your wrist, a subtle but constant reminder of the tension simmering between you.
Penny smirked as she handed him his receipt. “Take care of her, Hangman.”
Jake let out a breathless chuckle, his gaze flicking toward you as if to say, I plan on it. With one last look at Penny, he nodded. “Oh, I will.”
As soon as his tab was settled, Jake wasted no time guiding you out to the bar. Your arms slipped around his waist, your hands resting on the hard lines of his abdomen, feeling the heat of his body through his shirt. The cool night air was a welcome contrast to the heated atmosphere you’d just left, but it did nothing to calm the way your heart was racing. You found yourself nuzzling into the side of his neck, inhaling the faint scent of cologne, the mix of leather and woodsy undertones clinging to his skin. Without hesitation, you placed a soft kiss along his Adam’s apple.
Jake tensed beneath your touch, his breath hitching as you kissed along his throat, feeling the way his pulse quickened against your lips. He let out a deep, throaty laugh, the sound vibrating against your mouth.
“You’re gonna be the death of me, darlin,” he said in a husky voice, his arm wrapping around your waist, keeping you close as he led you toward his truck parked just outside.
But instead of stopping, you continued trailing kisses along his neck, your lips teasing the sensitive skin there. His hands tightened around you, his breath shallow as he opened the passenger door to his truck.
“Get in, Carly,” he said, his voice low and filled with promise.

Hello!! I saw your event and wanted to make a request. Asahi Azumane for I should have kissed you.
Thank you so much if you write it <3
Now playing... I should have kissed you
word count; 938 – f!reader, for my 1D x Haikyu event
While in university, you didn’t often think of your time in high school. You had made new friends and joined new clubs, yet those memories from the volleyball club especially came back to you every so often. You’d think of girls’ nights with Kiyoko and Yachi, scoldings from Daichi after setting up a prank with Suga, pep talks with Asahi…
Oh, Asahi…
Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and your busy life has in no way diminished your crush on that guy. Fair enough, you didn’t think of him as often as before, but when you did, it came with those same butterflies you had grown so accustomed to. Most of all, you thought about that last night before graduation…
As you finished your schoolwork for the day, you slumped your shoulders and rubbed your eyes tiredly. Not even the many cups of coffee you drank during the past few hours could keep you going. Studying at cafés could be such a double-edged sword.
“Y/n?”
You didn’t remove your hands from your face at first, but they stopped rubbing and simply covered you from seeing the face that belonged to the voice you knew so well. The one you had spent all day thinking about.
“Asahi,” you answered softly, finally removing your hands, only to start running one through your hair and wondering if you looked as tired as you felt. “It’s been so long.”
The sweet man walked over, and you let yourself have a moment to look him over. To no one’s surprise, he looked good. Healthy and a bit more sure of himself, you thought. “It has. I was just thinking about you.”
Your eyes widened and Asahi immediately started stuttering, trying to explain that he didn’t mean it in a weird way, when you chuckled softly and got up from your seat. “I was just thinking of you, too.” The confession made his unsureness melt, but the blush on his cheeks stayed put. You glanced at all the empty coffee cups on the little table and back to him. “I’ve had way too many cups today, think you could find the time for a little walk?”
He did find the time. Gladly, in fact. That last night before graduation had haunted him for so long, making him curse himself every time he thought about it and how he should have kissed you.
It was the perfect moment, as you and him found some privacy from the rest of the third years at the party and finally got to tell each other that every moment you spent together for the last three years had been some of the most precious. You had both been a bit tipsy, but only to the point where it gave you that little extra courage. And yet, he hadn’t done it. He didn’t ask you out and he didn’t get to kiss you.
Then everything suddenly went so fast, in the blink of an eye you were off on different paths as he went into practice for clothing design and sowing, while you went off to university to pursue the job of your dreams. You had barely had the time to talk at all and now-
Now you’re right here. Same gorgeous smile framed by the most kissable lips, laughing at your own joke while trying to catch your breath to keep telling him about your last adventure. It felt like destiny was giving him a second chance.
By the time the sun kissed the treetops, you had found a little bench in the park, sitting close to each other as a slight chill fell over you in the shadow of the trees. “Are you seeing anyone?” he asked you, hands tucked in the pockets of his stylish jacket.
You looked to the side at him with a small smile. “No, I’m not. Are you?” you asked back, watching as he finally met your eyes for the first time since you sat down. There was the bit more sure of himself you had noticed earlier.
“The internship has been crazy. So rewarding but a lot of work,” he started, sighing and removing his hands from his pockets to rest on his thighs and, just like he used to in high school, calming himself by drawing patterns on his palm. You nodded to show you were listening, but your eyes followed his drawings. “I’ve liked this one girl ever since high school, but I was too much of a wimp to do anything about it.”
Your heart was beating in your ears when he once again moved his hand, slowly intertwining it with yours as if you would run away at the gesture. But you stayed, trying to contain the hope flooding your veins. “Me too. A guy, I mean. A friend of mine.”
Asahi drew in a huge breath, letting it out with a short chuckle. He didn’t want to assume it was him, but it would be so nice if it was. “Do you have dinner plans?”
“I do now.”
After he followed you home that evening, the air reminded him of that night. The night when he let you walk away, and he was not about to repeat that mistake. He faced you as you stood in front of the door to your dorm, rested a hand on your upper arm and slowly moved it upwards until he caressed your jaw. You leaned a bit closer, eyes moving between his lips and his eyes until he finally pressed his to yours. Rumours have it you both entered your dorm that night.
Better late than never, some say.

~Lines We Drew~
part: 2
pairing- Paige x Azzi
a/n: I was gonna post this tomorrow but today was a good day!
warning: language
Enjoy!!!
Azzi’s POV:
My first few days at UConn have been a whirlwind. Classes are intense but manageable, and my teammates have been great—well, most of them. Paige is a whole different story. She’s made it clear she doesn’t like me, though I’m not entirely sure why. Maybe it’s because of our past or something else I just don’t know of. Whatever it is, she’s not making things any easier.
Practice has been tough, and Paige seems to find every opportunity to make it hell. Most of the time the rest of the team just looks at her like she’s crazy because, honestly, I don’t know what I’ve done to her that bad to be treated like this, but I hope she knows she’s not just going to push me around like a dog.
This morning, we were running drills, and Coach decided to pit me against Paige. Of course, she couldn’t resist making some remark about my shooting form, which is actually perfect by the way. “Nice shot, Fudd, maybe next time try aiming for the basket.” Paige snickered.
I rolled my eyes and shot back, “At least I can make a shot without spraining my ankle.” Her eyes narrowed, and I could see the surprise flicker across her face before she masked it with a scowl. We kept bickering throughout the drill, and eventually, Coach had enough.
“Bueckers! Fudd! Locker room, now!” Geno shouted.
We both hesitated, but the glare he sent us had us moving. The walk to the locker room was tense, and the silence that followed once we got there was even worse. I could feel the anger bubbling up inside me, and it was only a matter of time before one of us snapped.
“What the hell is your problem?” I finally demanded, turning to face her. “My problem? You’re the one acting like you own the place,” Paige shot back, her tone icy.
“Maybe because I’ve actually earned my spot here.” I said throwing my hands in the air. “Yeah, because everyone just loves the shiny new recruit,” Paige sneered, crossing her arms. “But they don’t know you like I do.”
“Oh really , and what exactly do you think you know about me, Bueckers?”
“I know you’re all talk. You act nice, but deep down, you’re just as cutthroat as the rest of us. You’re not fooling anyone.”
The accusation stung more than I expected. I opened my mouth to retaliate, but before I could, the door creaked open, and Laila, a girl i met my first day at Uconn slipped in, casting a worried glance between us. “Hey, Az, you okay?” she asked, her voice soft.
I nodded, but I couldn’t help noticing the way Paige’s jaw tightened as Laila approached me. Why did she care? It’s not like we were friends or anything.
Paige’s glare was sharp, and I couldn’t help but wonder if she was angry at me or at Laila. But that didn’t make sense, I pushed the thought aside, focusing on Laila as she pulled me aside to talk quietly. Even though we were trying to be discreet, I could still feel Paige’s gaze burning into us.
“I’m fine, just… annoyed,” I muttered to Laila, though I wasn’t sure if I was trying to convince her or myself. Laila gave me a reassuring smile and squeezed my shoulder. “Don’t let her get to you. You belong here just as much as she does babe, you know that.”
“Thanks Lai,” I replied, though my mind was still partially focused on the fact that Paige had been glaring at us the entire time. What was her deal?
When Laila finally left, Paige and I were alone again, but the fire in her eyes had dimmed, replaced by something unreadable. The silence stretched on until it became unbearable, and finally, she stood up, brushing past me without a word.
I watched her leave, trying to figure out what just happened. Why did she look so pissed when Laila showed up? Did she think I was going to talk about her? Or maybe… No. I shook my head, dismissing the thought. Paige Bueckers couldn’t possibly care about me.
———-
Paige’s POV:
I never expected Azzi Fudd to get under my skin like this. I knew she was coming to UConn, but I wasn’t excited about it. Everyone was hyped up about her for god knows whatever , acting like she was going to be the savior of the team. I couldn’t stand it. I’ve worked my ass off to get where I am, and now, here comes Miss Perfect, just strolling in like she owns the place.
But that’s not even the worst part. The worst part is that everyone seems to love her. Even my own friends, who should be on my side, are falling all over themselves to help her move in, introduce her to everyone, and make her feel at home. What about me? I thought bitterly. Where’s all this support when I need it?
The accusation hung in the air between us, and for a moment, I thought she might actually cry. But then the door creaked open, and Laila walked in, instantly killing whatever momentum our fight had.
“Hey, Azzi, you okay?” Laila asked softly. Azzi nodded, but my whole body tensed up as Laila walked over to her. I didn’t know why, but something about seeing Laila with Azzi made my blood boil. Laila had a long kind of slim body, a little similar to mine, but of course I had the muscles. She had this long blonde hair dripping down her back..also similar to me. I felt this unfamiliar twist in my chest, like jealousy, but that couldn’t be it. Could it? No.
I watched as Laila reached out and touched Azzi’s arm, and I had to fight the urge to get up and push her away. What was wrong with me? This wasn’t my business. I didn’t care who Azzi talked to, or at least I shouldn’t care. But as I watched them whisper to each other, something ugly and possessive churned in my gut.
I turned away, trying to focus on anything else. The lockers. The floor. My shoes. Anything but the sight of Laila comforting Azzi. I didn’t care, I reminded myself. I didn’t care at all. But when I looked back, and saw Azzi smile at something Laila said, it felt like someone had punched me in the stomach. My fists clenched involuntarily. I hated this feeling. I hated that she could get under my skin like this.
When Laila finally left, the tension in the room was suffocating. I wanted to say something, to demand to know why Azzi even needed Laila to comfort her, but what right did I have? We weren’t friends. Hell, I didn’t even like her. But that didn’t stop me from wanting to scream at her, to demand answers to questions I didn’t even understand.
I shoved my hands in my pockets and stormed out of the locker room without another word, leaving Azzi behind. I needed to clear my head, to figure out why seeing her with Laila had set me off like that. This didn’t make any sense. I couldn’t possibly be jealous. Not of Azzi. Not over something as stupid as Laila talking to her. Right?
But as I walked away, the twisted feeling in my chest didn’t go away. If anything, it got worse. And I had no idea what to do about it.
———-
Back in my apartment, I tried to focus on my assignments, but my thoughts kept drifting back to the locker room. No matter how hard I tried to push the memories away, Azzi kept creeping back into my mind. Why the hell did I care so much? I asked myself this knowing why i did care. But It wasn’t like we were friends. We weren’t even close like that anymore. But everything about her now kept nagging at me.
I leaned back in my chair, running a hand through my hair in frustration. Studying was pointless. All I could think about was the way she looked at me, the way her voice had risen when she confronted me. And that damn moment with Laila. Why did it bother me so much to see them together?
My phone buzzed on the desk, snapping me out of my thoughts. Nika had texted the group chat, suggesting we all head over to Aubrey’s apartment for a study session and hangout. I almost ignored it, but I figured it was better than sitting here, stewing in my own confusion.
When I arrived at Aubrey’s, the place was already full with energy, KK and Ice bickering, paying no attention to the work we’re actually supposed to be doing. Everyone else was scattered around the living room with their laptops and notebooks. I found a spot on the couch and tried to settle in, hoping the chatter would drown out my thoughts.
A few minutes later, the door to one of the bedrooms creaked open, and Azzi emerged, looking half-asleep with her curls falling down her shoulders and her eyes half-closed. She was wearing black Nike shorts and a tank top, and as she stretched, revealing a sliver of her toned stomach and that damn silver belly button ring, I couldn’t help but stare. She looked effortlessly beautiful, even with her sleepy face and bed hair. My eyes traced the length of her long, tanned legs, and I had to remind myself to blink.
Everyone greeted her with a chorus of “Hi’s,” but I couldn’t bring myself to say anything. I was too busy trying to ignore the way my heart skipped a beat when she rubbed her eyes and yawned.
Azzi must have noticed me staring because she glanced in my direction, her lips curling into a smirk. “Like what you see, Bueckers?” she teased, snapping me out of my thoughts. My cheeks burned with embarrassment, and I quickly looked away, pretending to be interested in my notes. “Whatever,” I muttered, but my mind was racing. What the hell was wrong with me? I shouldn’t be thinking about her like that, and I definitely shouldn’t be blushing because of some stupid comment.
Azzi disappeared back into her room to change, and I tried to refocus on my work, but when she came back out, looking more awake and dressed in sweats, I found myself sneaking glances at her again. This was getting ridiculous.
As the study session dragged on, I realized I was completely lost on one of my assignments. Everyone else seemed equally confused doing their own thing, except for Azzi, who was calmly working through her own tasks. I knew I had no choice—I had to ask her for help. But the thought made my stomach twist.
After a few minutes of struggling, I finally caved. “Hey, Azzi,” I called over, trying to keep my voice neutral. “Can you help me with this?” She looked up, surprised, but quickly nodded. “Sure.”
I expected her to just explain it from across the room, but instead, she got up and came to sit next to me. My heart pounded as she settled in beside me, her shoulder brushing against mine. I tried to focus on the work, but her presence was overwhelming. We hadn’t been this close in years. She leaned in a little too close, her hair brushing against my arm, and all I could think about was the scent of vanilla and strawberries that clung to her skin. Get a grip P.
“See, this part here…” Azzi began explaining, her voice calm and patient, but I could barely process her words. All I could focus on was how close she was, the warmth radiating off her body, the way her pink and plump lips moved as she spoke. I almost smiled at the absurdity of the situation. Here I was, supposedly hating this girl, yet I couldn’t stop thinking about how good she smelled or how soft her skin looked. It was infuriating, and I hated myself for it.
I forced myself to concentrate, nodding along as Azzi explained the problem to me. I was determined not to let her see how flustered I was. But the more I tried to focus, the more distracted I became. Her closeness was driving me crazy, and I had no idea why.
Eventually, the study session wrapped up, and everyone started packing up their things to head back to their apartments. I was relieved when Azzi moved away from me to help clean up. I needed space to breathe, to get my head on straight.
As I stood up to leave, I caught a glimpse of Caroline teasing Azzi about how close we’d been sitting earlier. I figured what’s the harm in eavesdropping just a little. Azzi laughed it off, but her response made my heart clench.
“She still hates me, Caroline,” Azzi said with a shrug. “I have no idea why, but it’s whatever.”
No idea?
Caroline chuckled. “You sure about that? I saw the way she was looking at you.”
I quickly turned away, pretending I hadn’t heard anything, but my mind was racing. Azzi thought I hated her..well I guess that’s what it would seem like. I thought rubbing my temples. I wasn’t even sure anymore. All I knew was that something about her being here, being so close to me…was driving me absolutely insane and I needed it to stop.

The soft evening light tinted the room with a cool blue hue as you and Namjoon lay on opposite ends of the sofa reading, your legs overlapping and tangling with his. The soothing patter of the rain outside threatened to lull you to sleep more than once as you tried to focus on the page in front of you, the words blurring slightly as your mind began to drift.
A quiet sigh from Joon however pulled you out of your dozing state.
It wasn’t the first sigh to leave him that evening, furthering your suspicions that something was on his mind as you glanced over at him curiously, taking note of the crease between his brows.
“You okay?” You asked gently.
“Yeah.” He said, still staring at the book in his hand, but you could see the set of his jaw that something was bothering him.
“Are you sure?” You asked gently. “Cause I’m pretty sure you’ve been on the same page for the past ten minutes.”
He sighed again.
“I don’t know.” He admitted, closing the book and setting it aside, lying back against the arm of the sofa as he stared at the ceiling. “I’m just tired, but I also can’t get my mind to shut off, you know?”
You nodded.
You’d noticed how hard he’d been working lately, he always wanted to give his best, for his fans, for his other group members, but with his album release quickly approaching, He’d been spending nearly all his time in the company, coming home late and then barely sleeping for more than a handful of hours before slipping out the door again in morning.
He’d tried to hide his stress and fatigue from you, but you’d known him long enough to spot the signs, both obvious and subtle.
You had noticed the sluggish drag in his step, the dark circles under his eyes, the anxious bounce in his leg as he talked.
“I just keep thinking of all the things I have to get done for the album, all the people that are relying on me,” He continued. “I just don’t want to let them down.”
“You won’t let anyone down, I have faith in you.” You said reassuringly.
“This album was so much harder to write than the last one, what if I’m starting to lose my edge?” He asked quietly, almost to himself.
“Not possible.” You said with certainty. “You are an amazing songwriter, this album being more difficult doesn’t say anything about your talent or ability.”
“You think so?”
“I know so.” You replied. “You never fail to stun me with your work.”
He nodded, letting his eyes fall shut as he leaned back against the couch arm, but you could tell he was still unsettled by the tense square of his shoulders.
Struck with an idea, you moved carefully to straddle his hips, causing his eyes to flick open in surprise.
“Y/n, what are-?”
“Shh, just relax.” You breathed, kissing him softly as you began to gently massage his shoulders.
His hands came up instinctively to steady you by the waist, letting out a soft groan of satisfaction, slowly melting under your touch.
You continued to work his wide shoulders, feeling the tense muscles beneath your fingers begin to relax, soft sounds of relief slipping from his throat, only to be swallowed by you as you slowly kissed him again.
You felt his hips twitch slightly beneath you, but you didn’t return the action, keeping your own hips firmly planted. Your goal tonight wasn’t to get him off, there would be time for that later.
Your only goal at the moment was to help him relax and calm his mind.
By the time you pulled away from him, he was absolute putty beneath you, eyes drooping heavily with sleep.
“Feel better?” You asked with a small grin.
“Mhm.” He hummed, sitting up and wrapping his arms around you, keeping you pressed close.
“Thank you. I know I’ve been distant recently with all of this, but I want you to know how much I appreciate you looking out for me. I am so thankful for you and everything you do.”
“I will always look after you.” You said, pressing your lips to his again. “For now though, you need sleep.”
You moved to pull away so you could stand up, but Joon kept his arms locked tightly around you.
“Stay,” He murmured against your hair, laying back down against the couch arm and pulling you down on top of him. “Wanna hold you.”
Your heart melted at his soft demeanor. “Okay.”
Almost as soon as you were both settled, he was out like a light, his hold loosening slightly but never dropping from your waist.
You soon felt yourself beginning to drift off as well, listening to the slow steady beat of his heart.
“I love you Joonie.” You mumbled softly.
You knew you couldn’t fix the things that bothered him, or make them go away, but you both knew that everything would be ok, so long as you had each other to lean on.

Broken Glass
Cairo x SoccerPlayer!Fem!Reader
Summary: Your troublemaker girlfriend breaks up with you
Warnings: Break up, mentions of lung cancer
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cairo was always difficult to deal with. Always exploding over the small things you say that come out as a insult to her, or the bold assumptions she makes. Cairo was a girl who never cared about anyone other than herself, but in this case she cared for you..
Today was her girlfriends ball party, you are Cairo’s girlfriend. You held this party because of your congrats on winning your soccer game. And ball dances happened to be your favorite, so you held one.
She was currently dancing with you slowly, it was a slow dance..her hands around your neck as you kept your hand placement on her waist. She was wearing a white gown, that hugged her hips nice..
She seemed quiet and relaxed as she danced with you, but really her mind was running a hundred miles per hour. Her hands left your neck, pulling away before speaking.
“Can we step outside? I need to talk to you.” She said, looking pretty tense now.
The big smile you had on your face was now gone, but nodded to follow her anyways. She takes your hand and brings you out the garden terrace. She turns to you, letting go of your hand and leaning against the railing. Her brown hair shinning in the moonlight.
“Can I ask you something?” Cairo was looking at you, tears brimming in the corners of her eyes. “Yeah, always.” You replied with, leaning against the rail with her.
She glanced down at her heels for a moment, gathering herself for what she was going to say. She seemed really nervous, she isn’t good about expressing her feelings, so she gets straight to the point.
“…do you really love me? Do I mean..anything to you?” Cairo asks, her voice broke a bit.
You furred your eyebrows, caught off guard by the question a bit..but it didn’t really surprise you. She seemed to always ask questions like these when she felt insecure, which you always replied with the same certain response. “Of course I do. Cairo you’re my girlfriend, I love you.”
“You do?” Her voice trembles. She seems confused, which confused you. It’s like she’s digesting the response. Her own love life has been so complex.. she still doesn’t even fully understand herself, but she wants to believe what you’ve said.
“Are you sure?” You notice the tears in her eyes swell up more, she’s holding back tears. “Yes of course I am,” you respond. “What’s going on my love?”
“I-it’s..” Cairo’s having a hard time finding the words, as she’s on the verge of a breakdown. She glanced around the terrace, looking at the small water fountain in the middle..seeing the moonlights reflection in it.
She held a hand up to her mouth to cover up sobs. “My…my mom…” she squeaks out. You tilt your head a bit, “what about your mom?”
“She has lung cancer..” your eyes widen at her words. She breaks, tears streaming down her face. She hadn’t told anyone..or muster up the courage to say something about the situation..maybe only her close friends…but how come not you?
“A-and I’ve been so distracted because of it. I haven’t been able to focus on anything, my grades are going down..” she couldn’t finish her sentence..her breathing becoming harsh..sobbing a lot.
“Hey..hey shhh..” you wrapped your arms around her small form, trying to comprehend the situation. “I’m so sorry baby..”
Cairo leans her head on your chest, letting out some more sobs. She’s been a loss of support..but of your presence there she’s slightly relieved. Less weight on her shoulders when you embrace her.
“I-i didn’t know how to tell you..” she whispers through a few more cries. “Hey..shhh, it’s okay.” You rub her back.
Cairo takes a deep breath as her sobs subside a bit. She pulls away from your embrace, which only increases your worries. She clears her throat, “thank you.”
You nod, happy to calm her down a bit..but not convinced enough she’s done. “Always. I’m glad you told me though..how is she right now?” You weren’t close with Cairo’s parents, I mean they were pretty much gone all the time since they’re lawyers ..but hearing that her mother had lung cancer, was shocking.
You rubbed her cheek and she smiles a bit at the gesture, relieved to tell you about the situation, albeit with a lot of difficulty. “She isn’t doing very well..” she took a deep breath, finding it hard to keep her tears at bay.
“I’m sorry, you don’t have to continue..it’s okay..”
She had something else to say, and you knew it. But you aren’t prepared. “But, there’s something else.”
There it is
“What is it love?” Now were you worried.
Now she doesn’t want to say it, but she’s already put herself in the situation. She knows if she says never-mind you’ll keep asking her. But despite her shyness, she speaks again.
“I..I don’t think I can be your girlfriend anymore..”
Your eyes widen, feeling your heart drop in your stomach. “Wh-what?”
Cairo nods her head slowly as she looks down. She seems scared to have said those words, apprehensive to your next response. Her voice trembles as she speaks again, “I..I don’t think I’m cut out for a relationship right now..”
Those words hit you like a bus. You can’t believe the situation right now, even at Cairo’s confession. You both have been together for five months now, things were going fine…you loved each other. But now she wanted to end things now? At your celebration? You get the fact her mom has lung cancer, but it isn’t like she’s dead….yet.
“It’s- its because of your mom..? Isn’t it.” You finally spoke up. “Yeah..” she confirms, her throat is dry. More tears flow, sobs continuing. She turns away from you, afraid to look at you.
“O-okay..” you step back, voice trembling too. As your own tears flood down.
“Please, I don’t want you to think it’s your fault.” She turns around to face you again, she scans your hurt face. She knows she messed up, your posture and facial expressions says it all. She’s aware of your sensitivity, she knows how you blame yourself when she is upset.
“N-no it’s fine..I mean yeah- I get it.” You let out a shaky breath, your own thoughts forming.
Maybe she hates you, she doesn’t love you, you aren’t good enough, it’s all your fault, you messed up
“You do?” She looks up at you in shock. Cairo wasn’t expecting such an easy response, she assumed maybe you’d have questions. But she also didn’t want to push the issue further, honestly, she wanted to agree what she was saying. Because outside of her family issues, she’s having a hard time understanding her feelings for you, and to her this was the only way to deal with the situation. Push you away like you’ve never met before, breaking your fragile heart and her own.
You shrug, “I don’t..know what else to say.” Cairo shakes her head, she didn’t expect you to say much. But she did expect a response of begging for her to not leave you..
“I’m sorry,” “it’s not your fault.” You quickly respond.
More weight lifted off her shoulders, but not enough. “You aren’t..gonna convince me to stay?” She was still shocked, wondering why you wouldn’t beg for her back…beg desperately for mercy.
“No..” boy do you wish you hadn’t responded like that, but you were hurt and shocked still. More than likely stuck like that forever if she doesn’t fix the situation.
Cairo’s eyes widen, lips parted. “R-really? You aren’t even gonna…try?”
“I’ve done this before,” “you have?”
You have indeed. Your last break up happened similar, they said you weren’t good enough..made up an excuse to break up and you tried begging for them back. But they didn’t give you any reason and without word, left you.
“Yes, my first relationship. The break up ended the same way, and I tried begging for them back…but they left without a word.”
She blinks, guilt rising up in her. She should’ve known this had happened to you, and why did she not know? She doesn’t know.
“I-I’m sorry.” “Stop saying sorry…”
Because you aren’t, is what you wanted to end the sentence with.
Cairo frowns. She didn’t even realize she was responding with a ‘sorry’ every time she spoke. She sighs, “I’m just..I feel awful about this, I should’ve handled things better.”
“It’s fine. If you think without me is better…it’s fine.”
It isn’t fine
She’s hurt, hurt you aren’t trying for her back. She’s sighs and shakes her head,
“you’re too …..good for me.” “That’s what everybody says.”
Cairo seems even more surprised at your response. She didn't know that people had told you that, but she feels like it's true and it stings her a little. She clears her throat. "I- really?" she asks in a shaky voice.
You nod. Cairo nods, as she looks down again. The truth is that she thinks it's true, too. She knows she's not ready for a relationship, especially with someone like you. It was better for her to let you go, especially if she thinks you… can do better. She sighs as she feels the guilt of her decision rise up again.
“Well, they aren’t wrong.”
Well ouch.
“Ouch.”
Cairo freezes, as she looks straight back at you, her eyes full of tears. That... yeah, that hurt you. That response didn't help her with her guilt at all. She feels like the ground opens up under her feet at the unexpected words.
“Ouch?” She asks.
You sighed, not wanting to explain why it hurt. “Just go.”
Cairo is taken aback by how harsh you are, and her face quickly turns into a frown. She feels like the wind has been knocked out of her, and her breath catches in her throat.
Just... just go? She can't believe this... after all this time they spent together, this is all it took for her to say that so harshly...Even if she was pushing you away first, she doesn’t feel wanted anymore.
“If you think you’re better without me, then just go.” You didn’t want to push her away, but you were.
“Who said I’m better without you?” “You did! You said you’d be better without being in a relationship..and that we weren’t cut out,”
You cried, defending yourself. She grits her teeth, “and…and you took that as I think I’m better without you?”
“Then what?” You crossed your arms, fed up.
Cairo sighs deeply as she looks away. She doesn't know what to say. She doesn't want to make her think that was what she meant. But she feels angry and hurt by her reaction to her words.
“…I said I think I am not ready to be with someone, I never said that I think I can do better without you...”
You sigh. “Then what do you want?”
She doesn’t think before she says, “maybe I would be better without you!”
You shake your head, crying more than before. “Just go..go.”
Cairo swallows deeply as she sees the harshness in her face. She sighs, as she looks down, finally accepting that there is no point in staying. There was no point in fighting back.
“…right.” she says after a few moments, and takes a deep breath. She turns around, starting to take steps away from you, her chest feeling heavy as she does so.
It started raining after, and you watched her leave the garden terrace. Leave you.
Now, all there was..is broken glass
Your fragile heart, shattered
Hair
tags: black reader x katsuki, newly established relationship (still trying to keep up the illusion for your partner), black reader doing her hair, emotional reader, Katsuki being the rational calm boyfriend, fluffy, cute ending.
a/n: i skimmed barely proofread sorry for any mistakes, hope you guys enjoy. reblogs appreciated.
“I can come over tonight?” Katsuki asked on speaker of your phone.
You two spent everyday together since he had confessed to you by shoving flowers into your hands and running off before you had a chance to respond in slight shock.
“Uh I’m busy tonight sorry.” You said watching yourself in the mirror studying your scalp distracted.
“Okay what about tomorrow?” Katsuki grunted unhappy he would spend time away from you.
“Tomorrow I'm busy too, i can’t hang out this weekend.” You said eyeing the thin black plastic bag filled with beauty supplies sitting on your vanity.
He frowned, you always told him about upcoming plans you had. At lunch always rambling about whatever you wanted and him listening with small grunts and nods. You didn’t mention anything before about plans.
“What are you doing?” He asked. Not wanting to pry so early into a relationship and scare you off. He had plans to make you his permanently but he was nosey.
“My hair,” You answered honestly.
“What do you mean your hair? It takes that long?” He asked confused.
“Yeah, it does. I have a lot of hair and it takes a lot of hours sometimes a couple of days.” You admitted with a sigh already dreading the process.
Katsuki sat there on the other side of the phone with a small sigh of relief. You weren’t blowing him off with anyone else, just your hair. He had no idea about black hair but he knew he cared about you and that meant this was important.
“Do you need help?” He offered making you silent in surprise widely blinking at the phone.
The man that would tell his partner in the field to fuck off when he asked. Was readily offering you his help.
You let out a small laugh, “I do but I don’t think you know what that entails. It’s a really long process and it’s tiring. Im okay though thanks for asking.”
He just wanted to see you. After spending every day together for a month, he doesn’t know if he could go 3 days.
“Alright the offer still stands if you change your mind. Don’t tire yourself out.” He sighed and you both said your goodbyes.
You fiddled with the ends of your hair with a huff.
“Let’s get this over with.”
~
You wanted to ram your head into a wall. Staring at half your head being braided, 10 hours down and probably another 7 to go.
Your back hurt, your arms hurt, your head hurt it was not ideal. Not eating all day and getting irritated at everything you were in a mood.
Throwing the rat tail comb from your hands on the floor you flopped onto your bed in tears needing a break.
Your phone began buzzing, face still in the mattress you reached around til you found it and pressed answer button.
“Hello,” You answered muffled
“Hey how’s it going?” Bakugo asked
You sniffled pulling your head up tears running.
“It’s fine.”
Bakugo heard how upset you were causing his forehead to crease, “What’s wrong baby?” in a softer voice.
“It’s nothing it’s just my hair and i’m tired and cranky and i haven’t eaten all day. I’ve only done maybe half of my head and i want to stop.” You said through tears.
“Hey, hey please stop crying it’ll be okay.” Katsuki said trying to soothe you through the phone but it wasn’t working. Noticing a twinge in his chest at the sound of your soft sniffles.
You left out small huffs trying to control your breathing, “Yeah…sorry I should go you don’t want to hear me crying. Sorry to bother.” You realized you were probably scaring away the one guy you did like with your hysterics.
“No I didn-“
“I have to go thanks for calling.”
Katsuki stared at the phone feeling his stomach sink.
~
You cried until your eyes were puffy and reluctantly went back to braiding your hair. You were so impatient and tender headed but you would not spend 200+ dollars on box braids.
After about an hour you heard a knock on your door. You opened it to your boyfriend with a bag of takeout and one from the pharmacy.
You yelped in surprise slamming the door just as fast as you opened it.
Katsuki was very confused and kind of hurt at your reaction.
“Y/n! What the fuck come on.” He yelled from the other side of the door.
Your face held such embarrassment, hoping this was a figment of your imagination.
Your boyfriend was NOT here when you looked like a hot mess.
Your non-black boyfriend at that.
This is a nightmare.
“What are you doing here!” You yelled back through the door.
“Baby you were crying and I haven’t seen you in almost 2 days!"
You groaned, “You can’t see me like this! you have to go home.”
He grunted in annoyance, “You better open up. Im not leaving when you were crying.”
You were silent waiting for him to go home and he wasn’t budging. With a sigh you opened the door peaking out at him.
“Are ya gonna let me in?” He asked with raised blond eyebrows and pretty crimson eyes.
You opened the door and stepped aside.
“What’s wrong why are you slamming doors and crying?” He asked looking down at you as he entered your apartment.
You slowly closed the door behind you and leaned back against it.
“I didn’t want you to see me like this.” You admitted thankful that you didn't blush noticeably.
“Baby like what.” He sighed dropping the bags on your coffee table and bringing you in close.
Your head fell into his muscular chest, smelling his cologne.
“My hair.” You mumbled into his shirt.
He pulled back and used one hand to push back your hair to see your face. Your hair is in sections and a half-braided mess.
“I like you and your hair. So will you calm down please?”
“Really?” You asked with teary eyes looking up at him.
“Yes, I do.” He reassured his hands gently holding you, his main goal to calm you down from this tired anxiety driven mood.
“Okay.” You mumbled head falling back into his chest.
He rubbed your back, “What’s going on?” asking again.
“I stayed up all night and im not even halfway done. I have a headache.” You mumbled in tears.
Katsuki led you to the couch and made you take a seat.
“Take a break. You look hangry and I brought food.” He said propping you in his lap and handing you takeout.
You finished your food and leaned your head in his neck. Your headache stopping. He was right as usual, you were hangry.
“I’m sorry for slamming the door in your face that was mean.” You said wrapping him in a side hug.
His hand rubbed the side of your thigh with a light kiss on your nose.
“It’s okay, ya didnt break my nose with the door slam.” Katsuki said making you laugh.
“Can I?” He asked gesturing to your head and you nodded.
Katsuki’s thick fingers touching your blow dried hair.
“It’s soft.” He said with mild surprise, “Like really soft.”
You laughed, “Yeah I do have soft hair, but so do you.” Reaching up and lightly tugging on his spiky blonde hair. His hair was getting longer in the back. It may be because he loves your hands all over him and especially his head, giving you more hair to yank. Just a theory of course you would never say to him.
He grunted, “You feel better?”
“Yes…” You nodded as he smiled knowing what he was gonna say
“Crying over the being hungry?” He teased showing his canines with his smile and you rolled your eyes.
“Shut up.”
“I’m just saying.”
“Are you discriminating against a black woman?” You squinted but Bakugo had heard that before.
“I just came over here with food to stop your crying and got a door slammed in my face.” He said with narrowed eyes matching your own.
“Uh fine.” You sighed, “Can you not be a good boyfriend so I can call you a bigot.” Your hand trailing up his stomach under his shirt, wanting skin to skin contact.
He pinched the inside of your thigh making you yelp in pain in response. His head deeply buried into your neck just enjoying your touch
“Ow…”You whined rubbing the bruised spot.
The Late Late Show - Bella Ramsey x Reader (18+)
General Masterlist
Warnings: (18+ only minors DNI) afab reader, smut, swearing, teasing, lmk if there’s anything else I missed.
Words: 2697
Summary: After a promotional appearance on the Late Late show, you and Bella confess your feelings for one another; your skepticism causes them to prove just how much they like you back.
A/N: It’s almost 1 am. I don’t feel like proof reading this. I want to be done with it. SO here we are LMAO. In all seriousness I’m really stoked on this piece and I hope y’all like it. It’s been a while since I’ve written a full smut so I’m a little rusty.
Pedro, Bella, and I are on the Late Late Show to promote season 2 of The Last of Us, and Mr. James Corden had the incredible idea to make us play ‘spill your guts or fill your guts’. In rehearsal the questions were all mundane and simple to keep the surprises for the actual show. Now that the questions are real, my anxiety has skyrocketed and I anxiously await my turn. So far, Pedro has had a sip of bird saliva and Bella has confessed who their least favorite person to work with in their career was. Now it’s my turn and I’m almost too anxious to comprehend the words coming out of anyone’s mouth. Bella turns the table slowly, watching my face and gauging my reactions to each food as it goes by.
“Y/n.”
“Hm.”
“For this question, I will give you…” They pause to think for a moment, “The one thousand year old egg.” I fight the urge to gag and Bella laughs deviously. They noticed the way I was particularly disturbed by it when we reviewed all the food options on the table for the camera. Bella laughs their adorable laugh after reading the question written on the cue card; I can’t stop the fake frown that’s appeared on my face.
“Which of mine and Pedro’s acting performances were the worst, and why?” The audience erupts into laughter, cheers, and groans as I contemplate how I can answer this question. “There is no way in hell I’m eating that.”
“Then you’ve got to answer.”
“I don’t know! I think you guys aren’t capable of bad performances.”
“Booooo.”
“Why are you booing me?!” I screech in surprise although I can’t help the smile forming on my face. Pedro jumps in,
“That’s a cop-out!”
“That is such a cop-out answer!” Bella laughs, biting their lip and resting their elbows on the table, displaying their hands that are sparsely decorated with rings.
“Why are you guys teaming up on me? This is so unfair. James, do something!”
“My hands are tied-”
“No, they are not it’s your show!”
“That one thousand year old egg isn’t getting any younger,” Bella quips, a devious smirk adorning their features. More laughter from the audience and I look back at Bella with pleading eyes. They raise their eyebrows to taunt me, clearly enjoying how I’m scrambling for answers. I bite the inside of my cheek and playfully glare. Another eyebrow quirk from Bella. On national television?
I cave, “Oh god. Okay, uh, Pedro. Maybe Mando? Since you’ve got the helmet on and we can’t really see your face emote a lot?”
“Kind of a cheat answer but I’ll leave it be,” Bella teases.
“Bella… Maybe Judy since you didn’t have too much on screen time so you weren’t given a lot to work with?” I attempt to calm my breathing as I wait for the other three to either approve or disapprove my answers. The jury is pleased with my response and I’m saved from eating the egg in front of me that is literally black and green.
We continue another rotation of questions going around the table until James takes us to commercial break. Bella, Pedro, and I stand from the table and head back to the couch for our actual interview portion of the show. It’s the last segment before we’re wrapped and I can’t wait to be finished so I can get out of this makeup and borderline black tie attire.
James gives us the standard questions that come with promoting a show and I find myself struggling to stay present. The way Bella moves their hands and the numerous rings that adorn their fingers are eternally captivating.
I want to just reach out and grab it. To hold their hand in mine and exist like that for as long as we possibly could. I want to hold them in my own and kiss them to show how much I care. I want to clench around their hands as I scream their name loud enough for anyone to hear. I want to bite down on exposed skin as they fuck me and tell me I’m their good girl. I crave Bella. I’ve always craved Bella.
“I think we’ve lost her. Y/n?” I hear James’ voice bring me back down to earth. My cheeks are a thousand degrees warmer as I realize I’ve been caught, lost in the fantasy of what it would be like to belong to Bella.
“What?” I ask when I zone back in. Everyone in the room laughs and I try to blink away my embarrassment.
“You play Dina, correct?”
“I do, yes.”
“This is a new character for this season, what can you tell us about her?”
“Yeah, so Dina is Ellie’s love interest in this part of the story,” I proceed to tell James the same basic spiel that I give every interviewer and he listens intently. He asks a few more questions about the characters and what it was like for the three of us to work closely on set. The interview goes over fun, smooth, and funny and before we knew it, the show was wrapped shortly after. Bella disappears almost immediately in search of a bathroom, leaving me with Pedro as James begins talking with one of his producers.
“Are you okay?” Pedro nudges my shoulder to get my attention. I nod rapidly which does not at all minimize his suspicion.
“Yeah, I’m totally good.”
“You were in space for the entire interview. What’s up?” He asks sincerely. Is this something I should tell him? Is this something I shouldn’t tell him? I’m at a loss for direction but Pedro’s reassuring smile reminds me that he is probably the best confidant on planet earth.
“It’s about Bella…” I start off slowly.
“Yeah, you really seem to like them.”
“SHHHH! Why would you say that so loud?!” I whisper shout which if anything draws more attention to us.
“Sorry, sorry, sorry.” Pedro holds both hands up to try and ease my anxiety and I drop my shoulders to try and reel everything back in.
“You’re right, though. I do really like them.”
“Apparently.”
“So what do I do?”
“What do you mean?”
I scowl, “What do you mean what do I mean?”
“It’s obvious they like you as well.” I tilt my head back incredulously.
“What are you talking about?” Pedro laughs heartily before responding,
“I may not be the smartest person in the room but I’m not an idiot. I see how you look at each other. How they look at you.” My heart flutters with excitement. “It’s a huge crush if I’ve ever seen one.”
“Well, what do I do then?” I ask, and we’re back to square one. Pedro shakes his head at my obliviousness.
“You tell them you like them and then kiss!” He says as if it’s the simplest thing in the world. Ever the optimist. As I open my mouth to speak, I cut myself off to see Bella has rejoined the three of us. A quaint smile paints their face and my heart flutters again tenfold.
“What’d I miss?”
“Not much from me but Y/n has something to say.” I go wide-eyed and look at Pedro in panic. If looks could kill he would be a dead man this instant. Bella nods at me expectantly and I feel a rush of anxiety in my core. I do my best to cover up the fact that I’m taking a deep breath to soothe my nerves.
“We should go somewhere… not… here.” Bella laughs at the peculiar rhythm of my speech but agrees and follows me backstage. In the dressing room that we shared when getting ready, I flick the switch that lights up the perimeter of lightbulbs around the vanity mirror. Bella senses the tension that’s practically radiating off of me and closes the door behind us.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m okay I just-” I trail off in search of the right words.
“...You just what?” Bella asks, gently.
Moment of truth.
“I really like you, Bella. And it’s okay if you don’t feel the same way. I’m anxious that bombarding you with this information could scare you away, and then we wouldn’t be friends anymore because it would be too awkward. So then I’d be losing not just my best friend, but also just you as a person and I’d hate for that to happen because I like you as a person too and I-”
“I’ve been waiting for this conversation.” Bella says smugly.
“-Have been so worried about- wait what?” As my whole rambling rant lead me to look down, my head snaps back up. “You’ve been waiting for this?”
“Mhm.”
“Would you care to share with the class?” I ask, facetiously causing them to laugh at the sarcasm.
“Pedro and I actually had a bet going for how long it would take you.” I frown at their words and blink away my confusion. Bella drops the smug smile. They stare at me and I feel my face heat up being under their intense gaze.
“You… don’t like me back?” I say, my heart sinking in panic as I had just bared my soul to them.
“Of course I like you back.”
“Well, don’t say that like it was obvious!”
“I made it pretty obvious.”
“No, you didn’t!”
“We spent Valentine’s day together.”
I open my mouth to protest but close it to consider maybe it wasn’t just a ‘Galentine’s’ hang out.
“But-”
“We literally woke up spooning when we had that sleepover.” I blink. Once, twice, and then shut my eyes completely to block out the visual of Bella’s face as I come to the same conclusion.
“Yeah, I guess it was pretty outright.” They simply nod a yes and I feel the weight of the world lifted off of my shoulders at once. “So, you like me?”
“Oh my god-” Bella rolls their eyes, and swiftly comes over to grab my face in their hands and kiss me passionately. Their lips on mine are the symphony of an orchestra that I’ve long awaited. Each movement of our lips, the rhythmic richness of percussion. Their hands tracing down the silhouette of my body, the sensuality of the brass. A desire-filled rush of blood coursing through my entire body, the serenity of the woodwinds. And the intensity of our feelings for one another becoming intertwined into one energy, the complexity of the strings.
I’m fully floating on cloud nine, drifting further and further away from the Earth and into the ethereality of Bella. The kiss started passionately and quickly becomes heated as the two of us revel in our lust for one another.
Bella grips my hair in their hand at the base of my neck, tugging the handful to break the kiss and tilt my chin upwards. They take the new access to kiss and suck the skin of my neck. Grazing their teeth over my larynx, biting into the side and sucking a harsh, clean mark into the exposed flesh. I groan and the sheer eroticism and grip the vanity counter behind me.
Bella’s ringed fingers gently grasp my hips, pushing me back to lean on the counter with more of my weight. They abandon the task of marking me, grabbing the fabric of my dress, pulling it up and cradling the hem of it in their hands at my hip sockets. All the while, they had sunken down to the floor, lustful eyes watching my face as they kneel on the floor.
“Can I?” They ask and I quickly nod yes as my mouth was too dry to form a verbal response. Lifting the hem of the evening dress over their head, Bella bites another hickey into my inner thigh. I squeak at the sensation. It hurts so good.
“Shhh. You’ve gotta stay quiet.” I nod rapidly as reassurance, temporarily forgetting they can’t see my face.
“Got it, sorry.”
“It’s okay, babygirl.” Bella then hooks their fingers into the waistband of the underwear I was wearing. “This okay?”
“Yeah,” I sigh out, anticipation dripping from my voice. They drop the garment to the floor and have me step one foot out of them. My left leg stays anchored on the ground as a point of support since the counter likely wouldn’t hold my entire body weight. Bella guides my right leg up and over their shoulder before they trace their tongue over my glistening core. I whimper out a noise of relief and my head drops back, readying myself for the ride of my life.
Their tongue traces through the folds, trailing up to draw my clit in their mouth. I let out a languorous moan. In an attempt to regulate my breathing, I pull in a deep breath of bliss. Bella expertly devours me and I feel myself pulsating from arousal. Judging by the smug hum of laughter I’m guessing they could feel the movement as well.
I grab the fabric of my dress around my thighs and lift the layers to keep Bella from practically suffocating. They continue, unphased. A euphoric cry escapes my lips when Bella presses two tantalizing fingers inside of me. My hand quickly covers my mouth to try and conceal the undeniable bliss of their hand working in tandem with their mouth. Each stroke of their fingers elicits a ragged moan from my throat and I fight so hard to remain quiet. Then, Bella’s mouth pulls off of my clit with an audible smack.
“Are you gonna be a good girl and come for me?” They ask earnestly and I nod rapidly. Anything to please them. The frantic nature of my response is satisfactory enough and they resume sucking on my swollen clit. I’m almost overstimulated from the pleasure of their mouth working with the rhythmic curling of their fingers. My moans increase tempo as I continue chasing the high. Bella beatifically bobs their head, moving faster to bring me closer to the edge.
Their fingers curve so perfectly against my g-spot and I fight the need to cry out in untamable pleasure. Stimulating the spot brings me closer and closer. I hold the collected fabric of my dress skirt in my left arm, and frantically reach down with my right. Bella masterfully maintains their pace, mouth and fingers working together while their other hand reaches up to interlace their fingers with mine. The thoughtful gesture is arousing in itself and I find my orgasm come to a peak.
I reside in this high for a moment before the waves of pleasure come crashing down over me. I finish with a strangled sob of gratification. Bella’s pace slows but they continue working me through the orgasm until the feeling passes. Once my clit stops pulsating, I feel them pull their mouth off of me with a most sinful pop. They leave our hands intertwined, but take the hand that was inside of me and lift the wet fingers to their lips, sucking off my remaining juices with great pleasure. I can’t help the laugh that escapes me, partly from disbelief but mostly from the residual high. They lock eyes with me and smile innocently, as if they hadn’t just sucked the life out of me in the best way possible.
Bella then wraps both arms around me and holds my body as tightly to their own as they can without hurting me. I then realize they’re doing this because my legs are trembling and they’re allowing me to use them as support. I’m grateful for the attentiveness and melt in their arms, wrapping my own around their shoulders. They hold me like this for a few minutes, and I smile knowing they would have remained there for hours if I’d asked them to.
“You were so good for me, pretty girl.” The praise is of the utmost comfort and I tuck my face into the crook of their neck. Placing soft, practically indebted kisses on their skin serves as a ‘thank you’ since I’m still very much recovering.
“I love being the only one to make you feel this good.”
Call Sign | Harvey x Reader
Harvey has a surprise for the farmer involving his favorite hobby.
“What are you doing?” you asked, watching Harvey tinker with his pilot radio. He was still in his pajamas—an odd sight, to be sure.
“GAH!” He jumped in front of the radio, throwing his arms out to shield it from view. “Nothing! Go do your chores, honey. I’ll be here when you get back.”
“Is your radio broken? I can order some more parts; you don’t have to fix it yourself—” You began to cross over to him.
“No, no, it’s in tip-top shape.” Harvey smiled awkwardly.
“Then why are you being... weird?”
“I’m not being weird. If anything, you’re being weird.” He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you in for a hug. “Go do your chores, dear. I’ll make breakfast, and we can eat together when you get back.”
“Alright...” You kissed his cheek. “I love you, you dork. Don’t electrocute yourself.”
“I love you too. Go, go!” He flicked a wrist at you, as if to say ‘shoo’.
Rolling your eyes, you went outside to tend to your crops and animals. The morning sun warmed your back as you worked, but your thoughts kept drifting back to Harvey’s odd behavior. You wondered what he could be hiding.
An hour later, everything was finally done, and you stepped back into the house.
As promised, breakfast was waiting for you on the table, but your beloved husband was not.
“Harvey? I’m back!” You called down the hallway towards your bedroom.
“Coming!” He responded, before hurrying down the hallway, still tying his tie. “I’m sorry, honey, I thought I had more time.”
“No worries, Harv, it’s just breakfast.”
You couldn’t help but notice the excited glint in his eyes as you sat down to your meal. He asked you about how the farm was doing, and though he seemed genuinely interested in your responses, you could tell he was suppressing a grin.
As soon as you had scraped the last bit of egg from your plate, Harvey swept it off the table.
“You cooked, hon, I can do the dishes...” You started as he ran the water in the sink.
“No, no. You go freshen up. I have a surprise for you.” He couldn’t stop the grin from lighting up his features, making you smile right alongside him.
“Okay... how long do I have?”
“Half an hour should be plenty of time for me to get it finished.” He said confidently. “Go, before I use all the hot water on these dishes!”
“I’ll see you in half an hour, then.” You sighed, smiling to yourself as you grabbed a fresh set of clothes and disappeared into the bathroom, pondering what on earth he could possibly be doing.
When you emerged, feeling much better, he was waiting in the bedroom.
“It’s ready!” He motioned for you to follow him into his hobby room.
A new set of headphones rested on a new chair, right next to his.
“Harvey...” You were speechless.
“Surprise!” He said triumphantly, sweeping his hand with a flourish. “I ordered these weeks ago, but they just came in this morning. I thought we could listen for planes together!”
“Harvey.” You took his hands and looked into eyes. “I would love nothing more.”
He grinned at that, leading you to your new chair. “First, we have to come up with a call sign for you. Mine is Dr. H, but it really just has to be three syllables or less.”
“Hm...” You touched a finger to your chin, thinking. “I think it should be a play on Farmer, since that’s what everyone calls me.”
“Hmm...” Harvey adjusted his glasses. “MacDonald? Bo Peep? Mother Duck?”
“Those are good, but... I’ve got it! Farmer Brown!”
His eyes lit up. “That’s perfect, sweetheart! Dr. H and Farmer Brown. I like it!”
You smiled, reveling in his happiness. “I know it’s early, but do you think there is any air traffic?”
“Only one way to find out!” He grinned. “Allow me.” He ceremoniously slipped the headphones on your head, and you marveled at how well they fit. He flicked a few switches, and the machine whirred to life.
“Okay...” He mumbled as he settled his headphones onto his head. “This is Dr. H and Farmer Brown at... 52 North, 43.5 east, seeking aerial response. Anyone out there?”
The static buzzed in your ears before a voice came through. “Copy... Dr. H and Farmer Brown on the ground. This is Sparrow Eighty Eight, anything to report?”
Harvey squeezed your hand, the excitement in his eyes only adding to your own. He tilted his head towards you, signaling you to go ahead. You had heard him give ground reports enough to piece one together on the spot from his equipment. “Standard Ground report: Wind is at two clicks, 36 degrees south of west. Ground temperature is 43 kraggs. Humidity is 34 percent.”
“Thanks, Dr. H and Farmer Brown. Sparrow Eighty Eight Out!”
“Dr. H and Farmer Brown out!” Harvey responded before jumping out of his seat. “Let’s go see if we can see the plane!”
You barely had time to remove your headphones before he dragged you to the porch, earnestly looking into the sky.
Sure enough, a plane passed overhead, and Harvey could only stare at it in awe.
“That was amazing!” He said, grinning from ear to ear. “A real TR-Starbird! You did so good, honey. I’m so proud!”
Before you could react, he scooped you into a hug. You closed your eyes, savoring the moment. “We should really make a habit out of plane spotting together!”
“I would love nothing more, my dear.” He said as he kissed the top of your head.
Unexpected: Part Nine
Stanford!Art Donaldson x Pregnant!Reader
You and Art had been home for a few days on leave. You were so happy to be home but you were so uncomfortable. Not only were you uncomfortable but you were annoyed and irritated all the time. It was extremely hot outside, you mainly sat in the air conditioning all day. Due to being heavily pregnant in the blazing heat, everything art did annoyed you. Even if he breathed too loud you felt like you could snap. Art realized this and decided to just work on the nursery and let you relax. But you felt bad, you hadn’t even kissed in three days, everytime he talked you groaned out loud.
You decided to get yourself off the couch and find art to apologize. You walked, well waddled to the nursery and found him putting sheets on the crib mattress. You smiled watching him, you remembered how much you loved him.
“Hey.” You said startaling him a little.
“Hey” he smiled turning around “is everything okay?” He asked surprised to see you off the couch.
“Yeah, I just…” you felt a wave of emotion rush through you, you started sobbing out of the blue “I’m so sorry for how I’ve been acting Art.” You cried hysterically. Art came to your side, he looked confused. “I’ve been such a bitch to you and you’ve done nothing but be amazing and supportive. I don’t deserve you. Now you probably want to leave me” Art was quick to interrupt you
“Y/N I’m not going to leave you.” He said giving a little laugh. “And you have not been a bitch. You’re nine months pregnant. You’re aloud to be a little irritated, I-i wish I could do more for you. You deserve everything.” He said gently wiping tears from your cheeks. You looked up at him with teary eyes,
“I love you.” You said pushing your face into his hand giving it a quick kiss, then you pulled him in for a kiss. It was so reliving to feel his lips again.
“Art.” You said looking at him with a stern look, you felt the boner that was almost fully hard in his gym shorts. You felt better but not enough for that.
“Just ignore it” he said pushing your head on his chest, and you both laughed. You waited a minute in the embrace, then you felt a pain shoot through your back.
“Ow” you gasped closing your eyes
“What is it baby? Is that a contraction?” He asked slightly panicking. But it wasn’t, over the past day or two the baby dropped and it caused your back pain to be worse.
“No, no it’s just my back, it’s worse now that the baby dropped.” You said stretching your back a little.
“The baby dropped so… she’ll be here soon then?” He said with a giddy smile that was adorable,
“Yeah she will. But we knew that” you chuckled
“I know but it’s real now” he laughed. You stroked his hair, your face lightly grimacing still from pain. Art noticed then pulled away and started walking out of the nursery,
“Stay here I’ll be right back” he called out to you.
Art came back with one of your bikinis, he had no shirt or shoes on.
“Cmon we’re gonna swim.” He said handing you the suit
“Art-“ you couldn’t even get your complaints out
“No we’re doing this. The water will make your feel weightless it will take the pressure off of your back… and we can spend time together, it’s not going to be just us for much longer.” He said giving puppy dog eyes while lacing his finger with yours. You gave in of course and got changed.
As the sun started to set you and art walked hand in hand into the ocean. Once you were in a little past your waist Art pulled you into his arms and spun you around. He was right it made your whole body feel so much better. He was always right. You kissed your boyfriend again passionately, he pulled away and looked at you. Your legs still wrapped around his waist, your bulging stomach against his toned abs
“You know your it for me right? Really it.” He told you “Y/n im so in love with you I’ve never felt so at home with anyone in my life. I wanna be with your forever, and get married and have a more kids and buy a perfect house. I want to give you everything, forever.” You pressed your forehead to his softly. “So… this isn’t a proposal it’s just me letting you know that this is forever.” He smiling at you, you were tearing up at his words
“That works for me.” You smiled as a stray tear fell from your eye. He kissed you. Suddenly he ruined the moment by picking you up and dunking you under water.
“Art!” You yelled wiping your face off, you wanted to be mad but you couldn’t help let out a childish laugh. Your remembered when you and art would swim and play together as kids, how the times had changed.
“You like the water Sunny?” Art asked wrapping his arms around you from behind, she kicked against his hand.
You and art spent a long time in the water, splashing each other, swimming, kissing. It was nice to reconnect with him again before the baby came.
After the beach you came back to the house, it was dark out now. You guys decided to order take out and have a lazy night. You had a lot to do still but this was more important. Once you and Art had showered together you crawled into bed and ate Chinese food and watched a movie. Art spent most of the movie explaining what was happening to your stomach which you found adorable. For the first time in a while you slept pretty well.
Various Anime Boys: Being Told "I love you" For The First Time (Part 2!)
a/n: yeeeeeah i should be working on my essay but here I am
Featured: Sanemi Shinazugawa, Kento Nanami, Keigo Takami / Hawks, Atsuhiro Sako / Mr. Compress
Warnings: Swearing in Sanemi's, stitching up Atsuhiro's boo boos
~ Part 1 ~ ~ Part 3 ~ ~ Part 4 ~ ~ Part 5 ~
Sanemi Shinazugawa:
(was anyone gonna tell me he and Satoru share the same English dub VA??? It's so weird hearing Gojo's voice coming out of Nemi XD)
The other Hashira could not understand it. How did you manage to calm Sanemi down so much? It’s like your presence alone was a soothing balm to his damaged heart. Even he didn’t fully understand why he was so drawn to you, like a moth to a warm, glowing light. You were kind, patient, understanding…all things that he yearned for. And you made him ohagi, which, of course, was a bonus.
You were sitting together outside one evening, simply enjoying the peace and quiet together. Sanemi was unusually quiet, his lips pressed into a thin, firm line. He was getting annoyed with how he felt around you, and how lately you had refused to make eye contact with him.
“Hey,” he said suddenly, his voice rough, “Why the fuck don’t you look at me anymore? It’s like I’m ugly or somethin’ to you.”
You immediately raised your hands and shook your head adamantly, “No, no, it’s…it’s not that at all, Sanemi! I’m sorry.”
“Then what the fuck is it? And don’t tell me it’s that you’re shy or some shit.”
“N—No…it’s not that either.”
“Then just tell me, dammit. You’re starting to irk me.” He huffed, narrowing his eyes at you.
You blushed and swallowed harshly, looking embarrassed. “…I love you, Sanemi.”
He froze in place, his eyes going wide. “What?! You better not be fuckin’ joking or I’ll kick your ass.” It was an empty threat, Sanemi would never hurt you. He’d kill anyone who tried.
“I’m not joking!” You replied quickly, your cheeks darkening. You looked down into your lap, terrified that you had just made some sort of big mistake. Sanemi’s hand found yours and he squeezed it, bringing it to his lips. You looked back at him, surprised.
“I love you too, idiot.”
Kento Nanami
(violently drooling over this man)
It had been several long, toiling days of work at Jujutsu Tech for you. You’d barely had any time to rest, having to wrap up mountains of paperwork that entailed the various curses that had been exorcised in the recent days. It was going to be another late night, everyone else had either gone home or gone to bed in the dorms, and it was just you, awake and working hard to finish up your work.
That is, you thought it was just you.
You didn’t even notice Kento standing in the doorway, watching you as you typed away on your computer. He didn’t know how you could look so stunning even when you were exhausted. He cleared his throat, which ended up startling you.
“I’m sorry,” He said as he entered, “ I didn’t mean to scare you.” In his hand was a paper bag.
You exhaled, relieved it was only Kento. Giving him a tired smile, you gestured for him to sit down in the spare seat. “It’s alright,” You assured him. “I guess I’ve just been way too absorbed in getting this done.”
“I can see that,” He replied, opening the bag. “You’ve been working tremendously hard lately. You need a break.” He took a wrapped sandwich out of the bag and offered it to you. “I know it isn’t much, but you do need to eat.”
You gratefully took the sandwich and didn’t hesitate to start eating it. You were starving.
“It won’t kill you to take a break,” He said. “Working overtime is never healthy.” He folded his hands in his lap, offering you a kind smile. You blushed at the sight. Kento rarely smiled around anyone.
You sighed softly and sat back in your chair. “I know…but I need to get this done.”
“I’m sure it wouldn’t do any harm to get some sleep tonight.” He pressed gently, removing his glasses and loosening his tie. “If you’re adamant about finishing it then I would be more than happy to keep you company.”
Something about his kindness, his smile, the way he was looking at you, it was almost too much for you to handle. He had always been so nice and thoughtful toward you.
God, I love you.
He straightened in his seat suddenly, looking at you with a wide eyed gaze. It took you a moment to realize that you had said it.
Heat creeping up into your cheeks, you stammered out an apology, ears burning hotly. Kento then smiled again, getting up from his chair and rounding your desk, so he was stood in front of you. His hand gently cradled your face, thumb running along your cheek. “You mean that?” He asked quietly, his eyes searching yours.
You nodded. He responded by pressing his lips to your forehead, murmuring back, “I love you, too. Now come to bed.”
(these are getting longer and longer lmfao)
Keigo Takami
(sunshine bby bird boi)
“Haaawwwks~! Haaaawwwwwwkkkksss~!”
You rolled your eyes at the incessant sounds of the girls on the TV. Hawks had just rescued a bunch of people from a burning building and, of course, a fleet of his fangirls had followed him. It made your gut twist in jealousy when you saw footage of him taking selfies with some of them. You turned off the TV after that, flopping back on the couch. You knew you shouldn’t be jealous, after all, Keigo and you were just friends, nothing more. But God damn, did he make it so hard, with his stupid good looks and stupid charm and stupid sweet heart and sense of justice.
You heard the window to your apartment slide open and feet hit the floor. “Heyyyyy, Y/N, I’m baaaaack! Mind if I use your shower?”
“You have your own apartment, Kei.” You retorted, turning your head to look at him. He looked a bit scuffed up but still had that doofy big grin on his face.
“But it’s not as fun as being here with you!” He said in a sing songy voice, “Did ya see my rescue? Pretty nifty, huh?”
“Was alright.” You said back, inciting a snort from him.
“You wound me, Y/N.” He feigned heartbreak by clutching his chest. “’Kay, lemme go get cleaned up.”
He disappeared into your bathroom, leaving you resting alone on the couch again. You heard the shower running and covered your eyes with your arms, sighing heavily. You were in love with him and you felt stupid because of it.
In a few minutes he came back out, dressed in clean clothes, his hair and wings damp still. “Wanna order some takeout or something? I could really go for some yakitori, y’know?”
“No, you go ahead, though.” You said back flatly.
Keigo frowned a bit. “Hey now, what’s wrong? Did something happen?” He flopped down on the couch next to you, giving you a quizzical look. “C’mon, Y/N, talk to meeeeeee…”
“It’s nothing important, Kei.”
“It’s important to me. You’re important to me.” He pressed further, leaning into you so his chin was on your shoulder. “Please tell me?”
You sighed, finally looking at him. “I told you it’s nothing important, Keigo.”
“Noooo, c’mon, you’re torturing me now. Please please pleeeeease tell meeeee?”
“Ugh, God, I love you, stupid! I always have!” You finally blurted, annoyed and now embarrassed.
Silence fell over the apartment as humiliated tears stung your eyes. You were half expecting him to laugh, half expecting him to gently reject you. But he didn’t.
Instead, he tucked his fingers under your chin, turning your head so you’d look at him. His face had an expression on it that you’d never seen before, his eyes were so soft, his smile so warm and comforting. “I didn’t think you felt the same.” He said. ”Wha—” you began, but he cut you off with his lips on yours. Sparks flew from behind your eyelids at the feeling.
When you two broke apart, he rested his forehead against yours, a tender smile on his face. “…You sure you don’t want yakitori, though?”
Atsuhiro Sako
(this man needs so much more appreciation, honestly)
“You really ought to be more careful, Compress.” You said as you stitched up a wound on Atsuhiro’s side. “You’re probably the only sane person in the League, besides Kurogiri. How am I gonna deal with the others if you go and get yourself killed?”
“It almost sounds like you care for me, my dear.” He drawled in response, a small smirk playing across his face. Well, what you could see of it through his balaclava. He gritted his teeth, though, when you pulled the thread through again. “Fear not, I shall not leave you to fend for yourself. It would not be very theatrical of me.” His eyes lingered on your face, his grin widening when you blushed and looked away.
“…I was worried,” You admitted, finishing up with his stitches.
His smile faded then, and he placed a hand on your wrist. “I’m sorry for making you worry,” He replied, his brown eyes softening. “I promise I will be more careful from now on, alright?”
You nodded, setting your materials to the side and retrieving a bandage to wrap around his abdomen. “…Hiro?” You asked, looking up at him.
“Hm? What is it, my dear?”
“…I love you.”
He stiffened for a moment, but then a warm smile grew across his lips. He wrapped an arm around you despite the objection coming from his wounded side. Pulling you close to him, he presses his lips to your forehead, nuzzling your hair. “I know.” He said softly. “I love you, too, my dear. You mean everything to me.”
pairing: Kento Nanami x fem reader
wc: 3470
a/n: part 3 to this work
warnings: angst, depression, suicidial thoughts, hurt/comfort, funny sibling's moments with Satoru, exorcism, a bit of a toxic relationship english is not my first language, so I'm sorry about mistakes :(
2013.
You didn’t reject your idea of helping Jujutsu societies outside of Japan even after breaking up with Nanami. On the evening of graduation day, you hastily packed your belongings with tears streaming down your face. Satoru tried to console you, but you refused to talk to anyone. The memories of the last three years slowly killed you. The only thing that kept running through your mind was leaving Japan to start a new life.
For four years, you assembled a team of nearly fifty sorcerers under your leadership. At first, it was exhilarating, but then you saw people listening to you and following your orders, and you began to feel confident in what you were doing. All you wanted was to create strong Jujutsu communities on every continent. You tried to level them up like they were in Japan, and you believed in their success. Gojo's blood still flowed through you.
By 2013, you had already opened three offices in Europe and were preparing to open a fourth in the USA. The only remaining question was with the government, which needed to be resolved as soon as possible. When you received an invitation from the local government, your team began to prepare for departure from Italy. As soon as the tickets were in hand and the luggage had been checked, your phone rang insistently. You took a deep breath and answered the call, seeing Satoru’s name on the screen. You hesitated, knowing that he wouldn't stop until he had your attention.
“My dear little sister! I’m so glad to hear you! How are you?” He sounded excited.
“Ugh, Satoru… This is not a good time…” You checked your watch and nervously chewed your lip.
“Sis, there is always a good time for me! Listen, we need your help. Urgently.” His voice grew serious.
“What? I can’t. It's not possible.” You wanted to end the call and walk away, but your brother’s concern stopped you.
“We have a new recruit in your crazy team of strongest sorcerers.” You were sure, he used his fingers to indicate your team with inverted commas.
“So what? It can wait.”
“No, it can’t. You should come to Tokyo to test him. Otherwise, he will leave the country.”
“If he wants to join my team, he can wait. I’m busy right now… Hello?” You didn’t hear Satoru anymore and hung up the phone.
You rolled your eyes at the brother’s indelicacy and walked to the gate. At the airport’s check-in counter, you saw a suspiciously familiar haircut. Satoru was standing near a pretty employee, flirting with her. You approached them and groaned.
“Does Utahime know about you being here?” Your gaze became sinister.
“We are not dating! Sweetheart, this is…” Gojo made a displeased smile and looked at you angrily.
“Your documents, please.” The airport girl lost interest in Satoru and turned to you.
“I can go instead of you. What grade is the curse?” His voice started to tremble, which surprised you.
“US government grade. What kind of guy is there that you desperately want me to meet? Johnny Depp?” You decided to listen to your brother.
“No. He is very talented but needs your strict control over him.” Satoru noticed your attention.
“If you tell me he is so talented…” You bit your lip.
Two things were important to you now: expanding your jujutsu company and engaging sorcerers. The lack of powerful sorcerers was a headache for not only you, but also for the entire magic community. Your curiosity got the best of you, but your concerns about Satoru's diplomatic skills weighed on you.
“Ugh. That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever done. Gosh, your carelessness is really contagious?”
You politely smiled at the girl, grabbed Satoru’s elbow and led him from the check-in desk.
“Listen to me carefully. We've been negotiating with the US sorcerers for half a year. In fact, I'm surprised they agreed with my idea. But if you fail this mission, I will kill you without hesitation.”
At first, Satoru laughed at you, but then he noticed your cold gaze and nodded silently. Despite his doubts about your global project, he appreciated your dedication to your ideas. The string of events during your school days hadn't broken you, and your activity had been useful for the jujutsu world.
“I'll send all the information with a message.” Satoru said, slightly pushing you towards the exit of the airport.
The next day, you were sitting at the airport waiting for your flight to Tokyo. It had been four years since you had last been there, and to be honest, you felt a little scared to return home. Satoru's information about “that super talented person” only annoyed you, and when you landed in Tokyo, you regretted your decision.
Outside the airport, a man waved to you. This was Ijichi Kiyotaka, who had been studying at Tokyo Jujutsu High for a year less than you. He had not succeeded in jujutsu and had become the assistant director. He stared at you in awe and pointed to the car.
“Gojo sensei! Welcome to Japan!”
“Ugh, don’t call me that.” You rolled your eyes and got into the car. “Please, I want to know more about this mysterious guy.”
“Why mysterious? You know him well.” Ijichi smiled.
“Really? Is it Megumi? Although he is only… 10?” You said sarcastically.
“He is. But no, this isn’t Fushiguro boy.”
The car drove up to the Tech, and your heart raced. Here you experienced first love, first death of a close friend, betrayal and break up. You shook your hand off the memories and got out of the car. On a bench, you saw the back of a tall, muscular, blond-haired man. Your eyebrows raised and you smiled softly.
“Well well…” The man turned around.
Familiar eyes and lips made you reel. You felt you couldn’t face those memories and tried to catch your breath. Kento looked so good, but still had circles under his eyes. Your gaze fell on his black dot tie, and you hardly restrained your tears. You cursed Satoru for this trick, hoping his plane gets into an endless turbulence zone.
“I’m leaving.” You turned to the car and started to open the door.
“Wait!” Nanami grabbed your hand. “I apologize for…”
“Don’t you dare even talk to me. You are nothing to me.” These words were ruthlessly slipping from your mouth.
“I understand your rage, but I need you to listen to me. I need you to be with me right now.” You noticed exhaustion in his voice.
“Excuse me? You need me to be with you right now?” You pressed against the car door to avoid Nanami’s proximity. “I want to forget you and everything that happened between us.” You lied to yourself and hated saying this.
“Don’t say that. I know you don’t mean it.”
You started to hit him on the chest taking out your grief and anger. All the emotions that you had carefully hidden for almost four years came to you at that moment. Despite your success in jujutsu, all this time you felt depressed. The endless emptiness was eating you from the inside and you couldn't do anything about it. There were people around you who wanted your attention, but you didn't want to pay attention to them because of Kento. For all these years, all your thoughts had been about him.
You didn’t want to discuss it with your brother because you were aware of his own feelings. The two of you were so close and so far from each other at the same time. Satoru understood your emotions, but didn’t want to bring it up. You had been in such a relationship since his death and resurrection, and it was awful.
Behind your thoughts you didn’t notice hot tears falling down your cheeks. You stopped hitting Nanami and turned your face away from him. He saw you were shaking and approached you.
“Don’t.” You lifted your palm to stop him from hugging you. “Not now.”
You went away from the car and sat on the bench, wiping away your tears. Ijichi and Kento watched you carefully, afraid to get close to you. Nanami regretted his decision to leave you, hating himself for causing your emotional state. It did not lead to anything good for either of you.
“So, there is no one who needs me to supervise.” You regained yourself and went to the men.
“Actually, this is my first mission after returning, so… I do need your supervision.” Kento’s voice became softer as he noticed you calming down.
“There was no need to bring me out of Europe. It was warmer there.” Your lips curled into a smile.
“Well, Satoru insisted that you would escort me during my first mission.”
“Of course he did.” You rolled your eyes at the thought of your brother.
“So, I see that you are ready for the mission? Here is information about it.” Ijichi handed you an iPad with the mission description.
“Okinawa?!” You yelled at the assistant when you saw the location.
The air landed at the Naha Airport on Okinawa. During the flight you tried to sleep, but Kento’s presence affected you in a way you didn’t want. Memories of your first trip here ran through your mind, making you hide your smile, but your expression remained icy. Although Nanami felt your tension, he didn't push you, remembering your tears in Tokyo, and truly understood his guilt, not relying on your quick forgiveness.
“So, the mission begins tomorrow at dawn, so you can rest at a hotel today.” Ijichi said.
“Not an option. We start right now.” You said, feeling your lips tremble, but stopping your nervousness.
“But…” The assistant tried to protest.
“Right now.” Kento felt a bit embarrassed seeing the man shaking.
Ijichi drove you to an abandoned beach and quickly left. You took out your kusarigama from the air. Nanami always liked that trick of yours, but now he was surprised when he didn’t see your halberd.
“And where is your halberd?” Kento couldn’t restrain himself from asking.
“I broke it in a Russian village. Special grade curse.”
“Oh, I’m sorry…”
“Don’t. I had so many problems with it at the border monitoring.” You softly smiled.
“At least you didn’t break your leg or back.” Nanami said, and you stared at him in astonishment.
“Of course, you remember…”
You went along the beach together to the cave. The warm sand got into your shoes, so you decided to take them off. This place was so calm, and you could hardly imagine that any curse lived here. The Pacific Ocean started to get louder, and the wind began to raise the waves. Kento looked up at the sky, and you followed his gaze. Usually, you liked to enjoy the sky together in every weather, but now it had become disgusting brown.
As you reached the cave, Nanami took out his blunt sword. Both of you felt the presence of a curse spirit. Kento remembered your fear from the missions at Jujutsu Tech, but he didn’t see it anymore. Your confidence inspired him, so he tried to hide his admiring look.
Inside the cave you felt cold. You smiled at the thought of this curses’ stereotype and shrugged. You looked at Kento and saw him completely focused. You were curious about his ability to fight curses after such a long break for jujutsu sorcerers.
“Don’t be upset, if you can’t handle the curse. After all, you didn’t do it for four years.”
“Don’t worry, dear.” He smiled gently at you, and, to your surprise, you saw that loving look in his eyes.
“Don’t look at me with those eyes” You turned away from Nanami and headed toward.
You felt the curse’s energy everywhere but couldn’t understand its hiding place. Kento’s look was directed toward you. Suddenly you felt a stab in your chest. Your eyes closed, and emptiness enveloped you.
The darkness started to dissipate, and you found yourself in Ueno Park. You looked around and saw a stroller beside you. You peered inside and discovered a red-faced baby. It smiled at you and stretched its hands toward you. You blinked twice and felt an urge to take it out of the stroller. The child cooed something in your ear and made you laugh.
Suddenly your phone rang. You carefully put the baby back. On the screen you saw a contact “Husband”, frowned and picked up the phone.
“Honey? Where are you?” You heard Kento’s soft voice.
“Uhm, I’m in Ueno Park.” You said hesitantly.
“Is Hoshiko* with you?” You frowned again and stared at the child.
“Hoshiko? Y-yeah, she’s with me.”
“That’s good. I’m already done at work, so I’m heading to you.”
“Okay, we will wait for you.”
You sat on a bench and started rocking the baby. The weather was nice, and you raised your face to the sun. You lost track of time as you felt hands on your shoulders. You laughed and turned around to see Kento. His bright smile and familiar adoring gaze warmed your heart.
The three of you walked into the park. Nanami spoke about his day at work and complained about his boss. You listened with interest, glancing at your daughter. Hoshi listened too, with wide open big purple eyes. You had never felt this before, so it was easy to think everything was right here.
In your apartment Kento helped you undress and bathe your child. Hoshiko, obediently watching her parents, started clapping her hands in joy
“Mommy and daddy happy!” She cooed, grinning at you.
“Yes, we are, my beautiful girl!” Nanami took the baby and wrapped her in a towel, kissing her forehead.
After the bath, you and Kento cooked the dinner together while Hoshiko sat in her highchair and read a picture book. When she found something funny, she burst out laughing. That made you and your husband exchange smiling glances.
As you placed the dishes on the table, your eyes fell on an old bread maker. You froze and started to tremble. Suddenly, Hoshiko’s laugher stopped. You stared at her chair and saw no one there. You blinked twice, and the girl reappeared as if nothing had happened. Nanami went to her side to see what made her laugh and smiled too.
During the dinner you looked away at the bread maker and couldn’t find peace. Something about this device caused pain in your chest. When dinner was over, you put Hoshiko in bed. She was so cute and looked like Nanami, except for the color of her eyes.
While Kento was taking a shower, you prepared for sleep. Suddenly, you dropped an earring and it rolled under the bed. You sighed and sat on the floor, but under the bed you saw a halberd, which shocked you.
“But… I broke it a year ago..”
You pulled out the halberd and stared at it without blinking. So many thoughts rushed through your mind, so you couldn’t stop them. Then you closed your eyes tightly, seeing white stars in the darkness. After that, you opened your eyes and saw an empty room with no furniture. You walked to the door, put your hand on the doorknob, and turned it.
There was nothing outside except for darkness. You turned around, and the room had already disappeared. The halberd started to fall apart, and ash fell to your feet. The pain inside you grew so strong that you couldn't hold on anymore. You fell to your knees and began to sob. It was horrible. You saw your dream come true and it was just some stupid trick of a curse. Endless emptiness filled you and right now, you were unable to fight it.
“My love.” Kento’s voice rang out from nowhere. “I need you to keep fighting. The curse is just playing with your mind.”
“But I can’t. I’m so tired. So so tired.” You saw your hands and knees sink into the ground.
“I know it’s hard, but if you give up, you’ll never see this future at all.”
“I don’t want to see my future. I just want to die so I don’t feel this emptiness.” Your body sank halfway into the ground as you saw Haibara in front of you.
“Wow, you are in a bad position now, girl.” He chuckled, squatting down to you.
“Yu? But you are…”
“Yeah, I’m hopelessly dead. And you are not.”
“You are funny as always.” You smiled and tried to get up, but didn’t succeed.
“I’m glad to see how strong you have become. And I’m happy that Nanami has returned to jujutsu.” Haibara didn’t help you to rise and watched as you went underground. “But now you’ve decided to give up? That’s so unlike you, Gojo.”
“You don’t know how I feel.”
“Yes, because I’m dead. And you are not.” He repeated his phrase. “Don’t you want to see Hoshiko in real life?”
These words hit you so hard that you desperately started trying to get out of the ground It hurt, but you continued fighting, regardless of how much your heart ached. Suddenly, you noticed your kusarigama and grabbed it eagerly, cutting yourself in the process.
In the cave Kento fought against the curse, protecting your almost breathless body. The dark spirit was so strong and fast, that Nanami was desperate to exorcize it without your help. He shook his head, banishing these thoughts and kept fighting. Now each of you had a huge battle: you – inside, and Kento – outside.
When Nanami fell on his knees, so exhausted, he lost all hope. He chuckled at himself for such a stupid comeback. At least he had seen you before he died. The curse stopped before him and reached its hand to the man. Suddenly, a chain wrapped around its neck.
“Get off.” You said through clenched teeth.
With a sickle, you cut off the curse's hand that tried to grab Nanami. Kento jumped into the air and sliced the demon in two. In the silence of the cave, all you could hear was each other's breathing.
“You good?” You asked Nanami.
“Mhm. And you?”
You didn’t answer and headed outside. The bright sun illuminated the blue surface of the water. Gulls flew above the ocean and tried to catch the fish. You walked along the beach without noticing the water in your shoes. Then you turned towards the ocean and went inside it. Warm waves parted before you because of your cursed energy, so you stayed dry as you walked along the bottom. When you felt tired, you relieved your Technique and the waves covered you.
You began to sink, but didn’t want to fight the stream and just gave up. As always in such situations you chose to give up. You weren’t strong at all, it was a mask, that you’d worn since Satoru’s death. All your efforts to be strong had been shattered by the curse’s trick. Your thoughts trapped you, and now your very existence seemed useless.
Suddenly, someone’s hand pulled you out of the water. Nanami grabbed your elbow and dragged you to the shore. But your body was so exhausted, so you couldn’t get your feet to work. Kento noticed this and lifted you up. On the beach, he carefully sat you down on the sand and gazed at you with concern. You hugged your knees and hid your face in them.
“Please, leave me alone.”
“No. Not again.”
“I said leave me! When I begged you to stay, you left! What’s stopping you now?”
“Sweetheart, it was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. Don’t make me do it again.”
“You’ve ruined me! You destroyed my dreams and future!” You yelled at him, so loud.
“I’ve destroyed our future! And I deeply regret it. But look what you’ve done! Your sorcerers successfully exorcise curses around the world. Is that what you wanted, isn’t it?”
“I wanted you to be by my side…” You wiped the tears from your face.
“And did you ask what I wanted?” This question paralyzed you.
During the last two years in Tokyo Jujutsu Tech, you only talked about your ideas, your dreams and aspirations. You rarely talked about Nanami’s intentions. You seemed so selfish and seemed to see nothing else around you.
“Why didn’t you tell me…”
“Because… Because I love you and want to put you on the first place. That day, I hoped you’d change your mind, but…” Kento moved closer and lifted your chin, wiping away your tears.
“We lost four years, Ken.”
“And we can restore them.”
“No, there is nothing to restore.” You shook your head. “But we can try building something new. From now on, without looking back at the past. Only us.”
