School is going so great and also I am so exhausted and also I am having an existential crisis

#teaching tag #the kids are great and I think I’m doing a good job teaching them and also I miss the ones from last year so much 😭😭😭😭😭#even though I know I will miss these too once they’re gone like why does 😭😭😭 it gotta be 😭😭😭😭 this way #it’s just a totally different vibe every time #the school year has a new flavor!!! and I hate that!!!!!#change is so bad and disgusting 😭😭😭#but also I think it’s good and I’m doing a good job keeping them moving #one of the revelations/realizations that I’ve had. is that I’m just starting to shift my focus #from …. wanting them to be moved to just wanting them to be engaged?#and I think it’s better.#I’m not quite wholly there. but I mean learning how to actually construct a class so that they are busy and their minds are being stretched #and employed and learning on multiple levels without just saying what I want to happen at them #and it’s a good shift but also a shift that’s making me sad #for whatever reason #it feels like another sign of maturity #but sometimes I miss my own highs #mostly I’m just so unbelievably tired lol.#like the physical and mental stamina required that I just don’t have yet #is so much.#but some strong starts have been made #and also (dare I say this lol) the effects of my reputation being established are also working in my favor #they’re a little bit scared. they’re a little bit more ready to engage and they’re more on board than they used to be #like. it’s happening faster. in terms of getting the class under control #and that’s nice. cause I remember it used to take weeks and weeks. months really.#and of course it’s ongoing and unpredictable.#but it’s better this time #anyway just rambling

the gears are turning a lil bit in regards to the cast of people around chiyo… we already have kojirou and yoshi, but i think i’m gonna give her an assistant artist since that’s common enough in the manga industry. they’re gonna be besties!! it’s what i’d like, at least. there’s something of a mentor-mentee relationship maybe? but we’ll see bc i want them to be friends first and foremost. i just need chiyo to have another woman in her story who is just!! there for her!! maybe also serves as an example of what chiyo would like to embrace about herself? like her sexuality and the concept “i might be difficult sometimes but you can take me or leave me — it’s your gain or loss.” like being unapologetically herself and being comfortable with herself. this lady is so well-adjusted and confident and chiyo is just “damn… wish that were me.” and it can be her!!! it will be!! just give it time!!

I finished watching RTTE and I am. Emotional

#GAHFHHH…I don’t know what to do with myself rn.#I’ll probably rewatch some of my fave episodes bc I don’t think I’m ready to be done with it yet 🤧#I WILL say tho the ending was uhhh #Pretty rushed. Lol #They had maybe 2-3 minutes to wrap it up #When instead they probably could have used an entire episode #Dedicated to various things.#i.e. The Dragon Riders coming to terms with saying goodbye to the Edge.#Mala and Dagur’s wedding.#Stoick regaining consciousness and his reunion with Hiccup.#VALKA’S CAMEO?? HELLO???#Yeah they could have easily stretched out all of that into one epilogue episode for sure #Also I’m. I’m kinda bummed they dropped Fishlegs/Heather bc they were SO cute #AND SNOTLOUT/MINDEN #He literally shouted ‘THAT’S MY GIRL!!’ when she showed up in the final fight 😭#But yeah I’ve never really been a fan of Fishlegs/Ruffnut? Not that I don’t understand the appeal but like #It’s just hard for me to imagine Ruffnut in a relationship with anybody. Except maybe Throk bc they made it WORK #Seeing her and Fishlegs all cuddly and cute in Homecoming feels SO OOC to me #But I digress.#Fishlegs/Heather had good chemistry 🥺#Astrid/Heather even MORE so. What is the point of insurance. I file a claim. They call me. Say they need more information. None of the information is about the actual incident, it’s all stuff they already have on file about my car (make and model, license plate, etc). Oh! They also have to ask if I had a child’s car seat in the car at the time of the incident, because apparently that’s important. And finally after all of this I ask, “so now what? Are you gonna pay for this?” and the lady goes “to be completely honest, it will probably be cheaper for you to find a shop on your own that will do it the cheapest than go through one connected with your insurance because you’re technically at fault for this and will end up paying for it out of pocket most likely because of the way your copay is set up.” HELLO??? HELLO!?!? I’m at fault for someone breaking my window and trying to steal my car???? God fucking dammit I hate insurance why am I PAYING for this every month just for you to not cover anything 😭😭

#it is a new car and through the dealership I have a full warranty #so fingers crossed THEY will cover the window repair #I just know even if they do it will take WAY longer #and it’s starting to get cold out so I really don’t wanna have to drive long with no window #I guess it could be worse my drive to work is only about 15 min but stillllllll #idk I just called the dealership but no one was available to talk to in the repair center #so I left a message I hope they get back to me at some point in the next couple hours #if not I’ll try calling again #idk… absolute WORST case scenario and I can’t get insurance OR my warranty to cover this #it’ll probably be about 300 bucks based on the estimates I got from a couple other shops #which like is doable for me it’s not the end of the world #I’ll just be stretched tight for a month #and probably have to put off getting my wisdom teeth removed since I was JUST getting ready to set that up #since they’re getting really painful #(if insurance will even cover them el oh el if not I’ll just fucking suffer)#uuugggghhhhh this is just so fucking frustrating and annoying #even the insurance lady was like ‘ooo that sucks it’s a new car too’#like YEAH GIRL I KNOW YOU DONT HAVE TO TELL ME #I’m 😭😭😭😭#kaz rambles
