The fact that Leo can go literally anywhere on earth to be alone with his thoughts at a single moment’s notice is something that shakes around in my head all the time. Like, portals and teleportation are amazing and convenient abilities both in and out of battle, but they could also so easily be used to run away as well.

I don’t think Leo ever would, at least not most of the time. He loves his family too much, and is too dependent on their love and attention to cut himself off so suddenly like that, but it’s a very real possibility nonetheless.

It’s a good thing Leo’s overall temper is more on the mild side and he prefers going to his room or something to complete solitude, because it really is dangerous for a kid to have the ability to isolate themselves like that at their fingertips.

I absolutely love your thoughts about wb so there was some drama about Sakura backstory last days on Twitter too, there was someone's take " how are we supposed to feel sad about Sakura's trauma when we barely know his trauma and past in details" I feel this take reduce Sakura development so much. Didn't we have enough information about Sakura? Like living alone and being judged by others! I think this is enough for his backstory. The present is more important than the past

hi hello yes, yes this is exactly what I’ve been saying!! also, thank god I deleted Twitter (for unrelated reasons), because seeing this all over tumblr the last couple weeks has been awful enough. anyone who can’t feel sad or sympathetic towards sakura because they don’t have an itemized list of every horrible, traumatic thing that’s shaped him into who he was when he first entered furin is… I don’t know, but I feel sad for them, tbh. because being so concerned with his backstory mean’s you’re missing out on all his growth as a person now. we do know enough about sakura to care about him (and frankly anyone who’s a Suo stan and thinks like this is insanely hypocritical, just putting that out there). but really, we’re like the rest of furin, and especially sakura’s first year class. do we know everywhere he’s been? who his family is? everyone who hurt him? everything that happened to make him feel as though being strong enough to prevent anything from knocking him down was the only important thing in his life? no, we don’t. not yet, maybe not ever. but we want to know him now. we want to share in these new experiences, celebrate his wins, cry over his losses, support him as he struggles towards being the best version of himself. and just like the rest of his class we’re absolutely smitten with his smile :)

Here you go! These are just my CSP usuals. In photoshop, I tend to lean towards more square brushes. In procreate, I’m more likely to use hard round brushes. I could not explain to you why. It creates this really funny effect where you can tell what programs I used on different pieces, or if I swapped out at some point.

The palette knife blender is a new addition, but I’m definitely keeping it around. Color randomiser has been a staple for years, as well as imgjpg2.

So Alpha Trion says that the miners had their cogs removed before they came online. But like, what does that mean?

Like okay, we know from context and such that the miners’ cogs were removed basically right after being born, and I think it’s a fair guess to assume they were created from the planet in some way by Primus, given that’s been the general backstory, and if other bots were creating them, someone would have noticed their cogs going missing, or Sentinel would just order they aren’t made

Though I’m not sure where specifically they come from, since the Well of All Sparks seems to be basically a bottomless pit to the core of the planet, and the place didn’t seem particularly protected or decorated for where new bots would come straight out. Also it’s too public for no one to notice Sentinel removing the new bots’ cogs

But moving on from that, we know it happens right after they’re born, but also none of them remember it, and D-16 says as long as he remembers, his port’s always been empty. As far as we’re aware, these bots don’t really have developmental cycles, despite what we like to think, so theoretically they don’t have a case of baby memory where they just can’t remember. Again, they say it’s before they came online, so presumably it was within the time frame of being born from the AllSpark, and coming online

But like, why is there that time gap where you can conceivably remove a bot’s T-cog? Are they born unconscious? Do they take a day for all their systems to come online? Why? What’s going on here?

I’m considering in doing some Venom x reader stuff as another thing for masterlists tbh, like I watched all 3 movies now so??? Fbsfbsjfjs I have the urge to have the beefy alien as part of my masterlist stuff for reading, I need him okay 💀💀💀

Spoilers for Alan Wake/Control games and DLCs: one of the things I really like in Alan Wake 2 is the confirmation that, no, Alan can’t create something out of nothing. There were implications in-story that supported that, but it was good to have that be a big part in the sequel. The AWE control dlc easily made it seem like Alan himself had a role in the events of the game and the formation of the FBC, and, personally, seeing it through that lens cheapened a lot of the game and Jesse’s story. Instead, having his writing influence the Hiss and try to manipulate (even out of desperation) Jesse/the FBC to end Hartman and get help, fit right into plot and conflicts of Alan Wake 2, with Alan being sympathetic, but also an asshole for trying to change and control people’s lives in his writing.

anyways now that 12 hours and passed and I’ve slept, a little bit better of a summary: (also I think I’m gonna start referring to her as Princess when I talk about her on here cause her some of her old url’s have had princess in it and it’s one of the pet names I use most often for her)

I did end up getting to see her !! She drove down like she said she would and met me in a parking lot next to the beach. She drove us out for some food and took my In-N-Out virginity and it was fun! We then went back and ended up hanging out on the beach for the rest of the time until we walked back to her car and delayed saying goodbye until she had to leave 💔. Short and sweet visit! Umm nothing really happened we didn’t get kiss we didn’t go back go back to my hotel room or anything hands never ended up between any legs ! But it was still really fun, she was really adorable IRL and had such a playful personality. We flirted a lot and I definitely teased too much! Ended up with my thumb in her mouth at one point and *might* have gently tugged on her hair at one point when she was bein bratty so there was definitely some fun tension between us 🥰 All in all I’m really happy I saw her ! She says she’d love to see me again so hopefully that’ll happen I just don’t know when
