I didn’t have enough energy to do a full Horror movie marathon for Halloween because work is a bitch. I had enough to watch Rec (2007) and holy shit!!! It was so good and actually terrifying. Please go check it out if you haven’t, you’re in for a treat!
That scene on the stairwell towards the end has been living rent free in my head.
#rec 2007#horror#I’m not normally a found footage girlie#but rec takes the cake for me when it comes to found footage horror#I had planned to watch longlegs after#but I couldn’t#I was just too tired to watch anything else#I went sleepy sleep 😴#I do plan on watching it either tonight or tomorrow#hopefully I’m not as drained#if anyone knows films similar to rec I’d greatly appreciate the recommendations#I’m slightly more open to found footage movies now

The Great IKEA Game
Chapter 4: The Three Stooges
AN: At least it hasn’t been two months again 😅. Let’s check in with the other batboys and see how they’re handling Damian and Marinette’s chaos.
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3
Tim wondered when his day took a solid dive off the cliffs of normal and into the waters of weird.
It probably started when Dick dragged them out of bed at eight in the morning – on a Saturday – piled them into the car, and drove them an hour and a half out of the city to an IKEA. If they had actually been there to shop they would have either burned the store down or killed one another.
Not that those things were off the table yet.
Tim had work, actual work, that he could be doing. But no, instead he was playing a demented game of hide-and-go-seek, which was careening into an all-out war. The destroyed shelving units, shopping carts, and forklift were unmistakable evidence of that.
How had the demon spawn accomplished this in less than a minute?
Bruce would kill them, once he came back from off-world.
That is if Alfred didn’t get to them first.
“Uh, order 177? Shit, my pay isn't enough for this.”
The words shook Tim from his stupor. He walked over to the counter.
“Hi,” he said, flashing his most charming CEO grin. “I have a quick question?”
The server's fixed smile contrasted with his dull eyes.
“I need to know what way the boy who ordered this headed.”
“No.”
Tim sighed, “Look, it’s important. My brother-”
“I mean, no, it wasn’t a boy.”
Tim paused. “Huh?”
“It was a girl, a teen girl. Black hair, big blue eyes, French accent. She was sitting over there,” he waved at an empty table. “But I think she walked away before that happened.” Referring to the giant train wreck occurring a few aisles over.
“Oh,” said Tim. “Thanks.”
“Do you want the order?”
Tim held back an annoyed sigh.
“Sure.”
So that’s how he, Jason, and Dick, sat at the abandoned picnic table, staring at the abandoned meal bought with Damian’s credit card. Jason grabbed a couple of fries and shoved them in his mouth.
“That’s evidence, nitwit,” hissed Tim.
Jason ignored him, stabbing a meatball with the plastic fork. “What? It’s going to go to waste. Girlie obviously ain’t coming back for it.”
“We should be more worried about how a random girl used Damian’s credit card!”
“She could have stolen it?” offered Dick.
“Demon spawn would have broken her arm before getting pickpocketed,” countered Jason, eating another fry. Silence. A weird glint appeared in Jason's eye. He turned to Tim. “What did you say the girl looked like again?”
“Black hair, blue eyes, French accent.”
“Shit,” muttered Jason.
“What?”
“I think I ran into her earlier, about an hour and a half ago. Asked her if she had run into demon spawn – she sounded confused and tourist-like. But maybe…”
“Maybe she’s working with him?” offered Tim.
“Could be.”
“Damian? Working with another person? A stranger?” Dick shook his head. “Doesn’t sound like him.”
Jason shoved another fry into his mouth. “The brat’s a competitive little shit, if he thought teaming up would help him get ahead, he’d do it in a heartbeat.” He pointed a fry at Tim. “Can you look at the security footage?”
“I’m already two steps ahead of you,” Tim said, flashing his phone with the hacked in security camera footage on-screen. Jason and Dick huddled in close as a small girl walk on screen and stood at the counter.
“Yep, that’s her. Can you ID her, Timmy?”
Tim rolled his eyes, “This is a smartphone, Jay, not a laptop.”
“I thought Mr. World’s Second Greatest Detective would be prepared for anything.”
“Well excuse me for not having facial recognition software, on my phone.”
“Guys chill.”
“Shut up, Dick,” Jason and Tim said in unison.
The footage played out and they watched the girl order two meals and pay with Damian’s credit card. They switched to another camera when she left and sat at the picnic table. A few minutes later Jason and Tim walked into frame.
“Look, there! She tenses. Look at her body language, she’s panicking. She knows who you two are.” Dick looked shocked that, yes, Damian had teamed up with a partner.
They watched the girl panic, although she managed to keep her body from reacting too much. She placed her phone to her ear and walked away from her spot.
“Who is she talking to?”
“Maybe Damian was watching out of sight?”
“Shoot, Tim, she’s out of frame. Do we have another angle?”
It took another minute or so, but Tim found the right security camera catching the mysterious girl leaving the food court. As she walked away the image on the screen flickered, and a moment later the shelving units fell.
“Oh crap,” swore Jason. “Do you think she has magic? Fuck, it would be just our luck if demon spawn teamed up with someone dangerous.”
Dick shook his head. “It could be a coincidence. We didn’t see her do anything. The chaos could have been a coordinated effort between her and Damian.”
Tim wasn’t so sure. “Come on Dick, you’ve been in the game long enough to know just because something looks one way, doesn’t mean it's true.”
They watched the girl hurry out of sight, this time it was much more difficult to follow her progress through the store. She would randomly duck in and out of showrooms, coming out differently than how she came in. If the three boys hadn’t been trained in stealth and detection for years, they would have had a challenging time tracking her.
Jason whistled low. “Who is this chick? I’m impressed. She has serious skill.”
Finally, she ducked into a showroom and didn’t come out. Tim couldn’t find a camera giving them an unobstructed view, but it didn't matter. They had a destination.
“This was ten minutes ago, they could already be long gone,” said Dick.
“Or they could still be hiding there,” countered Jason.
“We’ll find out when we get there.” They walked out of the cafeteria and past the closed aisles. The forklift that had been buried under the collapsed shelving unit was being unearthed by a flock of bewildered employees.
“Ten bucks says she has magic,” said Jason.
“Yeah, no.” Tim was good at math and the odds of everything happening just as she left was too big to be a coincidence. “I’m not stupid enough to take that bet.”
“Come on you guys, let’s focus here,” chided Dick.
Walking back through the showrooms Tim kept an eye out for any sign of his brother or his accomplice, but it was as if they had disappeared into thin air. Arriving at the last location they had spotted the girl, they waited for a touring couple to leave before descending on the tiny, boxed room like the detectives they were trained to be.
It didn’t take long to discover the lasered off vent.
“Shit,” groaned Jason. “They could be anywhere by now.”
“Tim can you-”
Tim had his phone in hand, “I’m already on it. I’ll have the vent layout in a minute.” He felt insulted they even needed to ask.
Jason peered into the vent, “Damn, I think we’re too big to follow.”
Dick sighed. “I miss my vent crawling days; they just don’t make them as big as they used to.”
“That’s what she said,” snickered Jason.
“Focus you two,” Tim snapped. “I’ve pulled up the air duct plans.” He flashed the screen to his two brothers who settled down. “This particular vent runs a couple of places. We have one entrance at the back of the store in the storeroom. Then another veering off near the daycare center, and the last which comes out near the unloading dock.”
“I’ll take the one next to the daycare center,” said Dick. “I’m the only one who isn't demented,” pointing to Jason, “or sleep-deprived,” pointing to Tim.
“Hey!” exclaimed Jason.
Tim sneered, repressing a Damian-like growl, “I wouldn’t be so sleep deprived if you hadn’t dragged us out of the house at eight in the morning. I arrived in from patrol at three.” He hadn’t had coffee in hours, and the weight of his body pressed on him like a panini maker.
Dick ignored them. “Jason can take the one at the loading docks, and Tim you’ll be able to bypass security and get into the back the easiest.”
“Sounds good to me,” grunted Jason.
“Alright,” agreed Tim. “The second any of us spots them, text the group chat, will box them in from there.”
They nodded and headed off their separate ways. Despite the tiredness in Tim's bones, there was a heady rush of the hunt thrumming in his veins. Damian, and whoever he had decided to pair up with, were going down.

Hi! For your Drunk Drabbles can I ask for Steve with cookie dough please?
Ok, this one ended up being really fun to write. Thanks for the prompt @animnerd This is for @the-ce-horniest-book-club
Title: The Cookie Dough Thief
Pairing: Steve Rogers x reader
Rating: PG
Warnings: n/a
Disclaimer: This work of fiction is not to be reposted, used or translated without my permission.
Someone was stealing your frozen cookie dough.
At first, you didn't notice, but then they slipped up and left a noticeable spoon mark in your dough.
Given that you lived with the Avengers, where you each had your own room but shared a kitchen, it could be anyone.
With that in mind, you did what any normal person would do: you set up a secret camera to check the person in the act.
Then you made a list of your suspects, starting with the most likely: Tony Stark, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Clint Barton, Thor and Bruce Banner. All of whom had a suspicious habit of showing up just as you were taking cookies out of the oven.
It took a couple days for the cookie dough thief to strike again, but they did and you knew you'd caught them red handed.
Instead of making your cookies right away, you opened the app for the camera and went through the footage to figure out who it was.
And the answer shocked you.
"STEVE!" you exclaimed as you watched captain morality himself eating a spoonful of your cookie dough. You looked up from your phone to see the thief standing across the kitchen from you. Instead of saying anything else, you pointed up to the hidden camera.
His eyes widened as he looked from the camera to the freezer and then back at you. He knew you knew what he had done.
You put your hands on your hips and glared at him.
"It's really good?" he offered, lamely.
"That's all you're going to say?!" you demanded. "You're a cookie dough thief!"
"I know, I'm sorry," he said, the shame showing on his face. "You make the best cookies I've ever eaten. And you were gone on a mission and I needed something sweet and it was just there. And then once I tasted it that first time… it was like I was addicted to it. I couldn't get enough."
"You think I make the best cookies?" you asked, surprised.
He nodded his head.
"Thank you," you found yourself saying. Then shook your head. "Wait a second, you still owe me ingredients. They're not cheap you know."
"I'll buy you whatever you need," he promised. "Maybe I can help you make them or something?"
"Ok," you replied.
Neither you or Steve were aware of the audience in the hall just outside the kitchen.
"Are you kidding me?" Sam asked the others. "I snuck one cookie and she nearly killed me. He sneaks her cookie dough and she gets all soft and girly with him all because he said they were the best cookies he's ever had?"
"Clearly, Steve knows more than you do about women," Bucky teased. "I taught him well."

A/n: Thank you all for your patience for this chapter. It has been difficult to balance school, life, and writing, but I’m so glad I knew I had something to go back to once I figured it out. Merry Christmas!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And I knew everything was going to be okay.
Until it wasn't.
"And what the hell are you doing?"
I snapped up from the ground to see none other than Nick Fury standing above our rag-tag group lying in the grass.
I swallowed deeply suddenly aware of the bruise on my neck from where nanobots were injected into my body. Nanobots that could probably do a number of unpleasant things to me.
Nick turned to the team who was still lying on the ground, "I thought I told you to get her settled in her room and then get her ready."
"We were getting there eventually." Loki closed his eyes and stayed there with his hands beneath his head.
"I would appreciate it if you did it now so she can get it over with."
"Wait... what's going on?" I was confused since one, Nick wasn't totally fuming, and two, what were they getting me ready for?
"Some evaluations of your condition are needed."
Well if that wasn't the vaguest answer to ever be crafted from a Shield Director I don't know what is.
I stood and brushed my jumpsuit to remove the nonexistent grass sticking on it, "I guess let's get this over with." I started to walk towards the compound when another thought occurred to me, "All my stuff is gone... Isn't it." I turned back towards the group, not expecting anything but a yes.
"Nope."
"What."
Tony leapt to his feet before steadying himself against me, "Well, you know what saps these guys are so they just wouldn't let any of your things go in the trash."
There were some protests from those on the ground, but Tony didn't give them any mind and started to lead me back towards the compound, an arm around my shoulders. He lead me up a couple of floors to a door that looked familiar.
It looked like every other door in the compound.
"Do you remember this?"
"No?"
"Oh. Well, this was the room you used to stay in when you couldn't go back to your apartment."
"Oh," I swung the door inwards to see a fully put together room, "this... This looks exactly like my apartment room." I couldn't help but smile. It felt like home.
"Yeah, Natasha was very precise." Tony stood in the doorway, not wanting to intrude, "So, there's a suit on your bed, you're gonna be doing sparring first. Get changed into that and be back to the common room and we'll head over to the training room." He checked his watch, "you probably have twenty minutes before Fury gets too impatient."
I nodded, but then a problem occurred to me, "uh, how am I gonna get this thing off?" I picked at the sleeve of the metal suit.
"When you're ready just say you want it off and it should relax into a normal suit you can take off." With that, he shut the door behind him and left me to my privacy.
I roamed around the room for a bit, admiring the little things that I had forgotten. There were pictures and little trinkets. I only hoped I could appreciate them like I used to.
The twenty minutes passed by quickly and before I knew it I was in the sparring area in the training room facing someone I had never met.
"Easy there сахарный, I'm not going to hurt you," he said it with a smile, but it only made my frown grow.
"Trust me, that's not what I'm worried about. There's a lot more salt than sugar here."
"Remember, this is just to see your condition Y/n, no powers are allowed, we will go until there is a clear winner," Nick's voice could be heard over the intercom as he sat from the observational area with the rest of the team.
And we were told to begin.
His steps were light, and a little bit quicker than needed, or expected. They were also more sure than mine were. I studied what he was doing as fast as I could, but it wasn't enough. His foot hooked around my knee and brought me to the ground, but I rolled across the mat to his other side. I snapped up to my feet and created some distance between him and myself to buy some time.
We circled for a little bit longer, watching, waiting. He lunged first, aiming for my waist. I twisted out of the way, tripping his feet in one fluid motion making him hit the mat.
The blood was rushing in my ears and everything else fell away.
There was only a young boy in front of me with the same objective as me.
To win.
He didn't even rise all the way off of the floor before he spun to trip me up. I landed hard, making me dizzy. He pinned my arms to the mat, but before he could pin my feet I pulled them up to my chest and kicked him off of me.
He let out a grunt as he flipped over me. I wanted to detain him as he was down, make this as painless as possible, but he was out of my reach too quickly.
Then it was back to circles.
My body was trembling, from adrenaline, strain, or something else, I couldn't tell.
This was the longest match I had been in for a long time. I felt bad for him. He was fighting so hard.
I better not prolong his pain any longer.
I had him in a headlock. I'm not exactly how. His sweaty blond hair was brushing my chin as I slowly cut off his airway. His hand frantically slapped my hand, and then the mat.
"Shhhh, it's okay. It'll be over soon," I swallowed. It was better this way. It was what he wanted.
It was better for everyone this way.
Hands gripped at me and ripped the boy from my grasp. Panic tore through me. I only knew of one person who wasn't allowed to win, it didn't end well for him.
I struggled and shrieked, "No! You sick bastard! I was doing it! You told me to win, I was doing it!" I clawed at the arms surrounding me, trying to hold me still, "Don't you dare take me back there! I did what you asked!"
Someone was trying to speak to me, but I didn't want to know what they were saying.
"You hear me Hen-" I was mid-scream when my world went dark.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Avengers sat in a room surrounded by screens of camera footage. All but one was playing different angles of the nearly deadly sparring match. The other was focused on the motionless form of Y/n on her bed.
They were silent, all too scared of what would come if they broke it. But it had to be broken.
"It seems they trained her, but I'm not sure I've ever seen training like that before." Vision was the only one brave enough to say anything, or it could be he didn't fully understand the gravity in the room.
"That's because it isn't training," that odd statement drew the attention of some of the group to none other than James Buchanan Barnes.
"That's survival." He stood from his seat and walked towards the biggest of the screens. It started from the beginning of the match and he pointed carefully at her feet, "You can tell this is training, but this isn't from Hydra. Her footwork is very similar to Clint's so it must be Shield training." He watched as she adjusted her position on the screen, "That uneasy shifting tells me that she hasn't done any formal training or technical sparring in a very long time, muscle memory is driving most of her motions, but it can only go so far."
No one disagreed with him.
The footage continued, "Right here is where I believe she forgot where she was." Bucky turned to face the group, "You're completely right Vision when you said you haven't seen any training like that before, because that isn't something you do unless you're desperate."
The Avengers could hear themselves in the footage yelling.
"He's tapping out. She's not letting go!"
"Stark! Turn her off!"
"What do you think she is? A damn toy?!"
"I said, turn her off!"
"Loki's down there, she's throwing a fit."
"You told me to win, I was doing it!"
"Hurry up Tony."
"I'm working on it!"
"Do you hear me Hen-"
The footage stopped and they were left in silence.
"That must have been what they told her when they told her to fight. They told her to win."
"Wait, are you telling me that she had to do this while with Hydra?" Bucky spun to Steve in disbelief, "What the hell did you think was going to happen, Fury? That she was just going to go 'ho ho guess we're gonna have friendly sparing match and not kill my opponent!'"
"It was necessary, unfortunately."
"Bullshit!"
"You not only put in jeopardy Y/n's sanity, but also Pietro's life. You're lucky he is only needed for overnight observation, Fury. I believe this meeting is over." Wanda stood from her seat and started towards the door.
"What are we going to do about Y/n?"
"How about I 'turn her back on' and let her figure things out. Locking her in a cage isn't going to do anybody any good." Tony looked pointedly at Nick.
He sighed and nodded, "Okay, do what you have to do."
With that, everyone exited from the room.
Natasha and Loki were next to each other when Bucky approached, "Hey, you two were awfully quiet. Anything I should know about?"
"No, we just figured that if we got involved in the mess, it would become..." Natasha trailed off.
"A whole lot messier," Loki finished.
They both had grim looks on their face, a cover for the frustration and worry boiling inside them both.
"We were planning on being there when Tony wakes her up," Natasha stuffed her hands into her back pockets, looking at her feet.
Bucky nodded and started to turn away with a soft smile.
Loki grabbed his shoulder before he could get too far, "Would you like to join us? I'm sure she would be glad to meet you."
"Not as glad as me for the opportunity."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One moment I was screaming, and the next I was lying on a bed, staring at the ceiling.
"So this is what it's like to have a control button."
"Terribly inconvenient isn't it?"
I didn't even move my gaze from the ceiling, "Like you would know."
"Afraid not, girlie," an unfamiliar voice spoke.
I shifted to lean my back against the headboard, "And I'm afraid that word doesn't apply to me anymore." I looked at Loki and Natasha, "Can you believe that I'm thirty whole years old?" I sighed.
"And life is unfair in that you didn't get to see a more than a few of them."
I reached out and squoze Natasha's hand, "But what do you expect? When has life ever been fair?"
There was a moment of silence before I decided to shake off the self pity.
"Alright, enough of that," I looked at the stranger in the room, "I'm assuming you're friendly since these guys wouldn't have let you in other wise, but I don't believe that I've had the pleasure."
He stood from his seat and stepped closer, offering his hand, "Indeed we have not, though sometimes I think I do know you with how much everyone talks about you. James Buchanan Barnes, miss, but you can call me Bucky."
I took his hand with a small smile, "All good things I hope. I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see you after all the shit I've seen, showing up like a ghost."
He laughed, "Yeah, something like that."
"Okay, sorry to be a party pooper, but how's the kid?" I swallowed deeply, scared of what I would hear.
"He's just fine Lady Y/n. He'll be in the infirmary for observation over night, but he'll be just fine." Loki's voice was overly reassuring.
"You know, I can always tell when you feel bad for me, 'cuz you call me that," I smiled at him, though I'm sure it looked forced. "I guess that's one thing we can bond over, a warm hello from the newcomer." I shot Loki a wink, making him groan.
"You are never going to let that go are you?"
"For as long as I live Princey."
Natasha was laughing with Bucky who was a bit confused, but intrigued all the less, "I don't think I've heard this story."
"Oh you will, but maybe not right now," I sat up straight and stretched, "at this moment, I want pizza, a burger, and french fries." I looked pointedly at Loki, "I don't care about my favorite smoothie anymore, I want solid food."
Natasha pulled me from the bed, "Your wish is my command, I was craving something anyway."
So the two of us dashed down the hall, me letting Natasha lead the way to the kitchen.
under read more bc i put too much effort into my ocs and there is A Lot. tw for violent stuff
this will be updated every time i think of something for him!
deviantart link
Rollick
“The Ravenous” ? idk I suck at titles
no accessories
Size reference
why does he have anime hair if hes a fish? because he’s my oc and i say so
I MADE ICONS FOR THE LOCATIONS AND CLASS AND OTHER CHAMPIONS’ ABILITIES AND TUMBLR WONT’T LET ME ADD THEM WITHOUT FUCKING THE WHOLE POST UP
Short crappy bio
A young shark-like Vastaya. Born in Ionia, west of the island Sudaro. He was captured as a child by Bilgewater pirates after straying too close to the surface and being found. Was then put to work on the Slaughter Docks, and trained to hunt in the traditional Serpent Isles manner: “launching themselves at their targets to secure tow-hooks with their bare hands, and beginning to butcher the creatures while they yet lived.”.
I need to update myself on League lore, but I would like him 2 be acquaintances with Nami and Fizz. Also, Rollick would have heard stories about Pyke and would find him really cool. Ideally, he would have Johnny Yong Bosch as his voice actor because I love how he voiced Kung Jin in Mortal Kombat X, but I don’t know how he’d do with a pirate accent lmao.
Kit
Would be classed as a Fighter with the sub-class Diver. At least I think he would.
His kit is basically just a mash-up of multiple champions with extra ingredients. Riot do it themselves, so I'm allowed to, too. Pirate lingo used for most of his abilities and voice lines b/c I'm not creative for naming things.
Passive "Blow the Man Down." : A mash-up of Rengar and Darius' but more complicated. Auto-attacking 3 times in a row, or using abilities, gives his unused abilities 3 different tiers of empowerment. (Like, if you auto-attack 3 times, use W, then Q, his E will have tier 3 empowerment.). Tiers 2 and 3 gives the target bleed when hit by abilities, applying "Blood in the Water." Applying the bleed multiple times makes it stack, tier 2 stacks like two stacks of tier 1 bleed, tier 3 stacks like two stacks of tier 2 bleed. How many times can it stack? Idk. 5? 7? 10?? ok probably not 10 that would be stupid.
2nd passive "Clipper." : Rollick moves faster in the river; this move speed scales with his normal move speed.
Q "Feed the Fish." : Tier 1 is a swipe in an AOE cone with his claws. Tier 2 is a small lunge in a targeted direction with two swipes, one with each hand. Tier 3 is a longer distance lunge with a bite. If tier 3 lands on a moving target (examples: scuttlecrab when it dashes, Ezreal using his E), it will follow the target like Warwick Q/Evelynn E. The bite will also heal him for a small amount.
W "Hook, Line, Sinker." : is like Rengar's Bola Strike with a wider but shorter range for tiers 1 and 2, but he leaps in the targeted direction at tier 3 and if he hits something, covers it with his net and stays on top of them for a short amount of time. Tier 2 spins the target around from they way Rollick throws his net and will turn the opposite direction of the way the target was originally standing. If you're facing Rollick and the tier 2 net hits you, your back is now turned to Rollick.
E "Chase." : Warwick Blood Hunt but either less or more annoying. Cooldown is shorter in duration, but so is its active. The passive part of it only shows paths to champions affected with a bleed, burn or poison DOT effect. (Includes: Rollick's "Blood in the Water", Darius' "Hemorrhage", Brand's "Blaze", Gangplank's "Trial by Fire", Lillia's "Dream Dust", Cassiopeia's "Noxious Poison" and "Debilitating Poison", Twitch's "Deadly Venom", Teemo's "Toxic Shot" and "Noxious Trap", Singed's "Poison Trail", the "Scorch" rune, "Ignite" summoner spell, "Challenging Smite" summoner spell, "Azakana Gaze" from Demonic Embrace, and "Torment" from Liandry's Anguish.
R "Cleave 'Em to the Brisket!" : Similar to Skarner's "Impale". Rollick takes the hooked blade he has on his belt and lunges at the target, stabbing into the enemy champion's chest with his chest to their back, and drags them away. "Cleave 'Em to the Brisket!" can only be used on a champion that has their back turned towards Rollick. It applies a tier 3 "Blood in the Water." upon use. It can yank champions out of Displacement Immunity, but doesn't suppress the target champion entirely, they are still able to use dash and blink abilities, use Thresh's "Dark Passage", recast "Death Sentence" , and use most movement summoner spells ( Flash, Hexflash, Mark/Dash), but if they do, half of their current HP is taken away from the hooked knife being dragged/yanked out of them. If you are 30% HP and you use one of the movement abilities mentioned, you will leave with 15% HP and two stacks of tier 3 bleed. For 5 seconds after using his ult, Rollick uses his knife to attack, gaining increased auto-attack range and his autos apply a tier 1 bleed stack per hit. The enhanced auto-attacks drag his targets towards him because of the hook part in his knife getting caught on them.
Animation ideas
(I used google to find every gif/picture, save for the “dance” one. they have tumblr links bc when writing this tumblr shit itself when i wanted to save it as a draft and i kept it open in a different tab and copy/pasted everything. im sorry some of the gifs are weird aslkfjdjf)
Walking animation is him using his arms and tail to "crawl". imagine the gif has a tail instead of legs
Running animation is the same concept, just with much more effort put into making himself move faster. Moving in the river looks more like he’s swimming rather than crawling. Slowed animation is him dragging himself slowly with his head facing the ground, putting weight on his elbows instead of using his arms completely. Like an army crawl but in pain.
Idle animation is him crossing his arms and resting on his elbows, then looking around and inspecting his claws.
If left in idle animation for more than 15 seconds, he drops down completely and puts his head in his arms and dozes off. Moving after the sleep idle will have him shake his head awake when starting to move.
Death animation is him trying to crawl, being unable to, then collapsing on his side and flopping onto his back.
Taunt animation is him straightening himself then lashing out with his hands and baring his teeth before "biting" the air in the direction he’s standing, voice lines coming out before the bite part.
Joke animation is him chasing his own tail? Maybe he gets tangled in his net after doing it for a second and just struggles there until the animation is interrupted.
Dance is uh. He straightens up and does knife tricks. He doesn’t have legs, doesn’t have a staff like Nami, and just wouldn’t dance like Cassiopeia.
I made the gif using footage from here.
His laugh animation would be him laughing and flopping onto his back, then turning back onto his stomach. All but one of his laughs would be loud and hearty, the one that isn’t would sound like Kung Jin’s laugh.
Seeking control, Chapter 7
A week passed by, Ellie’s bad dreams were happening on a regular basis. But now, she was seeing Tom’s face quite clearly. She wasn’t sure why really, he had been nothing but kind to her. But there was a weird feeling she just couldn’t shake still.
She was starting to worry that she was going a bit crazy. Things in her flat were moving, she was sure of it. Just small things, such as knickers going missing, her quilt folded down when she went to bed when normally she just left it in a mess in the morning. Little things like that.
But she couldn’t really claim that someone had entry to her flat, because she couldn’t be sure if she had actually moved the things herself. Such as misplacing her knickers and actually being neat for a change.
She did her best to avoid Tom. Which wasn’t so easy, he seemed to often end up in the lift with her especially. Whether heading out or returning. And he often reminded her about making an appointment to see him at the practice. Which was something she was dreading.
One night, Tom was watching Ellie through the camera he’d set up. Instead of actually going into her flat to watch her, he saved that for the middle of the night when she was asleep. Enjoying the thrill and the risk of possibly being caught.
He noticed she was getting ready and dressed up. He frowned. Was she really going out to get drunk again? After the last time, had she not learned her lesson?
With an annoyed growl he went to his door, but looking through the peephole he saw Ellie locking her door while on her phone. He opened the door just enough to listen in.
‘Yep, just leaving now… No, I’m not drinking much, just one or two. I told you what happened last time I got drunk. We meeting at Olives, yeah? Alright, see you soon.’ Ellie said down the phone, then hung up and made her way downstairs.
Tom tapped his fingers against the doorframe, thinking... Then he grabbed his coat, keys and headed out too.
He got in his car and sat there for a while, to give Ellie time to get ahead. Olives was only a ten-minute walk, so it wouldn’t take her long to get there.
Once Tom arrived, he parked in the nearest car park and then walked round to the club. It was already packed and had a good atmosphere. Tom was able to blend in easily enough through the crowd, but he stayed near the exit and kept a close eye on Ellie.
He spotted her at the bar first, getting some drinks with three of her friends. They found a table to chat for a while, catching up while they had their first drink. Tom decided to get a drink for himself too, all the while keep an eye on his neighbour.
The group of girls ended up on the dancefloor when their favourite songs came on, Tom found himself becoming extremely jealous when guys started dancing with them and trying to grind against Ellie. But to his delight, she kept moving away from them or telling them to leave her alone.
She wanted a girly night.
But Tom’s jaw clenched later on during the night, he was seething… The stupid girls left their drinks on the table while they went to dance, leaving them wide open to be spiked.
And it just so happened, that Tom had such a thing in his very pocket…
He managed to weave his way between the crowd over to the table, and as he walked by, he emptied a pill straight into Ellie’s drink. Then he made his way outside, to wait for his prey.
Ellie had no idea what happened. She’d sworn she was only going to have a few drinks, but when she stumbled out of the club a few hours later, anyone looking would think she’d been drinking for days.
Tom caught her elbow before she fell off the edge of the pavement. ‘Easy, there.’ He said softly in her ear, making her tremble.
She looked up at Tom, her eyes glazed over entirely. Tom knew she would have no recollection at all the following morning. The thought aroused him greatly.
‘Come on, Ellie. Time to go home.’ He chastised and led her towards where he had parked his car.
‘Wh… Docr, Hiddlesssson? You ng ere?’ She couldn’t even string a sentence together, her mind kept flitting in and out of consciousness as she walked while being held up by Tom. Her mind was floaty and completely gone.
‘Shhh, shhh. You’re safe with me.’ He purred.
When they got to his car, he opened the passenger door and aided her in. Then he took the seatbelt and put it on for her, because she wasn’t capable of doing it herself. Doing something like that for her made him feel a rush of adrenaline shoot through his veins. Having her helpless and needing him to guide her, protect her, care for her.
Even from the first time he met her, needing his help with the boxes, he knew that she needed him. She didn’t know it yet, but she would. In time.
By the time Tom walked round to the drivers’ side, Ellie’s head was drooping to the side and she was barely able to keep her eyes open. Though she did try to. And she was mumbling incoherently.
The doctor reached out and slid his hand to the back of her neck and stroked her skin softly. ‘Shhh, shhh, shhh. I’ll have you home soon. Just stay quiet and relax.’
Ellie did stop mumbling, she closed her eyes fully as her head bobbed to the side, Tom’s fingers continued stroking her.
‘That’s a good girl.’ He purred.
When they got back home, she was only just awake. He had to unbuckle her seatbelt and ended up carrying her inside and up to her flat.
While he was fishing the keys out of her handbag, while still holding her in his arms, she started to come round a little. He unlocked the door and carried her inside, straight to her bedroom.
‘Whs gn on?’ Ellie mumbled, head rolling back and fore when Tom placed her down on her bed.
‘Hush now, Ellie. You’re home, safe and sound.’ He whispered, stroking her hair.
Her eyes could hardly focus on her neighbour as he crawled on top of her, looming over her small form with his large, intimidating one.
‘Sss… Wh…’
‘Shhh. Relax, Ellie.’ Tom leaned down over her and trailed the tips of his fingers down the side of her face, along her jaw and back up the other side. ‘You are so beautiful, darling.’
Ellie just let out some more barely audible noises while he caressed her face.
‘I’m here now, and I am going to look after you. You are in such desperate need for someone to take control of your life… I found you at the right time, my dear little Ellie.’
Ellie woke up the following afternoon, she was out cold all that time. It took her a moment to come to it, to realise she was in her own bed. But she felt something sticky all over her face… all over her body, in-fact.
She looked down and noticed her dress had been torn off her as if by some wild animal, as it was in bits around her. She shot up in a panic, scrambling backwards. But that’s when she felt it, felt an ache between her thighs. Like something, or someone had forced themselves roughly into her. And they left a present behind…
‘Oh my god. No! NO!’ She started crying in hysterics and ran to the bathroom.
She looked in the mirror and screamed. She was covered in cum.
After showering for almost an hour and scrubbing repeatedly until her skin was red raw, she went to the kitchen to down a glass of water. Her hands were shaking as she clutched the counter and tried to control her breathing.
‘What have I done?’ She muttered to herself. She cursed herself for not being able to remember a bloody thing. It was terrifying.
She was only going to have a few drinks… She remembered dancing and feeling in control, sober. Just having fun with her girlfriends. Then the next thing, blank. She doesn’t remember leaving the club, how she got home or who with. Nothing.
She ran her hands down her face and that’s when it hit her… She wasn’t on the pill. And who ever fucked her obviously didn’t use protection. Again.
‘FUCK!’ She kicked the cupboard in rage.
She’d already been to the chemist once, for the last incident to get the morning after pill. She couldn’t go again!
Tom was in his room, stroking his cock slowly while he watched footage from late last night and through this morning while he continued to have his fun with Ellie. Covering her multiple times with his seed. Oh, how he had so enjoyed that. And having video footage to watch over and over, it was better than any kind of porn.
The knock on his door disgruntled him though. But then it clicked, it would be Ellie. No one else in his building would ever bother to go visit him.
With that thought, he got up and quickly made sure he was tucked back into his jeans and presentable before going to answer the door.
When he opened it, he was met with a really upset and worried looking Ellie.
‘Ellie, darling? What’s the matter?’ He frowned and reached out to rub her arm soothingly.
‘I… I did something stupid, Tom. Really stupid. But I, uh… I need to ask you for a prescription. I need the morning after pill.’ Ellie blurted out quickly through her teary eyes.
‘You mean, you didn’t practice safe sex?’ Tom asked in a slightly chastising tone, making Ellie feel even worse.
‘No… I don’t know. Last night is a complete blur. I don’t even know how I got home.’ She squeaked, her voice breaking.
‘Ellie. This behaviour can’t continue, it’s not healthy.’ He said in concern.
‘I know, I know. I only had a few drinks, before everything went black, basically. I… Please, I’m too scared to go to anyone else. Do you have the pills I can have? Or get me a prescription for them without any fuss?’ She begged.
Tom stroked his beard for a moment. He could see she was so distressed, the poor girl. Obviously not wanting to make another walk of shame to the chemist to get it again, because he knew she did last time which had been embarrassing enough for her.
‘Alright. I can get you the pill this afternoon. Just this once. If it happens again, you will have to go to the chemist yourself or make an appointment with me. Though I’d still like you to make one with me for Monday. We need to discuss your anxiety and see if there’s another option.’ He gave her a reassuring smile.
Ellie let out a sigh of relief. ‘Thank you so so much!’
‘No worries. I’ll see you in a few hours.’
Tom kept his word and helped Ellie with her little problem. She was super grateful. But she also couldn’t shake the weird feeling when she was around him.
Her nightmares continued over the week, but got worse. And now, she kept picturing Tom all the time. Part of her thought it was maybe because he was the main man in her life at that point. She saw him most days just in passing, as he was just next door after all.
Things continued to freak her out in her home. When she was in the bath one night, she was sure she heard footsteps in her flat. But by the time she got out and a towel around her, there was no sign of anyone.
With a mixture of the nightmares and also feeling freaked out in general, not to mention being embarrassed after what happened, she did her best to avoid Tom again. Darting quickly back and fore from her flat to the lift, hoping he wouldn’t appear. The odd time he did, she made up quick excuses to get away from him without stopping.
She was supposed to be starting work, but with everything that happened her anxiety was through the roof. She found herself going out of her flat less and less, phoning in to her new boss to say she had the flu. She was given another week before starting.
Ellie knew she was going to have to do something about her anxiety. Part of her thought about going to the doctors… To get more tablets or to try different ones. But then another part of her did NOT want to see Tom. She even thought about going to a different practice.
In the end, she decided to do nothing. She would struggle on and try to get her shit together before starting work.
Tom sat quietly on his sofa, thinking hard about what to do next. He was losing her, and that was not on. He wouldn't have it. He had to gain full control over her again. But how? That was something he had to work on…
But then it suddenly came to him. He knew just what to do.
Marriage Material
This is my very first time writing anything. I'd love anyone's feedback. Good or bad. I just want to know if I should pick this up as a hobby or not.
Yn has been dating David for six months and is unsure of his true feelings. It all comes out at a party after a fight.
It was the same argument they had before every party. Yn would go out of her way to find something really nice to wear. Not her usual jeans and t shirts. It would be a nice dress or skirt. She would feel so confident until she walked out of the bathroom and was met with David’s disapproving eyes. It was like he never wanted her to look pretty.
“You know David I can’t do this,” Yn yelled as she marched around his bedroom picking up items of clothing from the floor.
“Its not like I’m being unreasonable here, I mean have you looked at yourself? Your skirt looks more like a belt. It’s like something Trish would wear.”
“Don’t,” YN warned as she spun around to look at her boyfriend of six months. “You are not my father, you don’t get to tell me what I can and can’t wear to a party.”
“I’m just saying this isn’t a normal party. This isn’t the group hanging out at Jason and Todd’s where I know you will be safe. This is Dom’s party. I have no idea who is going to be there, and I would feel better knowing you’re not there half dressed. I have to film tonight. I’m not going to be able to do that and look after you at the same time.”
“Then why the hell am I going?” Yn snapped. “Why did you invite me?”
“You’re my girlfriend,” David answered with a look of confusion on his face. “I want you there.”
“But I can’t go if I’m dressed like this?”
David’s eyes glanced down Yn’s body before looking back at her face. “I trust you completely. It’s the guys at the party I don’t trust.”
“I’m going to be hanging out with Zane most of the night,” Yn sighed. “You don’t trust Zane?”
“Of course I trust Zane,” David sighed, feeling exhausted from their fighting. “Its Dom...”
“Fine,” Yn snapped as she slide the skirt down her legs. “I’ll put on some damn pants if it will get us out of here.”
“I’m not trying to be controlling Yn,” David said as YN turned away from him and walked towards their walk in closet. “I just want you safe.”
“Whatever David,” Yn snapped back.
…………
The car ride to Dom’s apartment was made in complete silence. Jason, Jonah and Brandon were already in the car when David and Yn were finally ready to leave. By the time they were parking the car at Dom’s apartment there was a small crowd waiting to be let in.
“Why am I here,” Jason complained from the back seat. “Would you look at some of those girls over there. They’re practically my children’s age.”
“I didn’t know this was a pool party,” Brandon smirked. “They’re all half dressed.”
“This is great,” David laughed. His camera was already on as he exited the car leaving Yn looking stunned at him.
“Hey baby girl”
Yn jumped at the sound of Zane’s voice from her window. “You scared me.”
“Why are you sitting there looking all glum?”
Zane was always the one that Yn was closest to. He reminded her so much of her older brothers. So whenever these parties took place Yn always found herself dancing and laughing with him while David ran around filming everyone.
“I just know tonight isn’t going to be a good one,” Yn answered as she allowed Zane to help her out of the car.
Yn eyes landed on David again as he stood by the elevators chatting to three half dressed girls. Yn knew she never had anything to worry about when it came to David and other girls, but he seemed so happy chatting to them and not caring what they were wearing, but he looked so disgusted by what Yn had worn earlier. It was like he didn’t see her as being girly or even sexy like the other girls that were around them. He was always doing it around Trish. She would say something sexual or show off one of her many sex toys, but if Yn tried to join in on the conversation David would cut her off or it would start an argument. Yn was starting to wonder why David was even hanging around any more.
………………..
The party was in full crazy mode and Yn found herself standing by the door watching her boyfriend filming Big Nik making out with two girls. He had a huge smile on his face as he held the camera up.
“You know he’s only here because he needs footage, don’t you?”
Yn looked to her side to find Jason standing beside her. “I don’t know Jason, He seems to be enjoying himself.”
“He’s a great actor” Jason shrugged.
Those words stung more than anything. It was Yn biggest fear that her whole relationship with David was all an act. That she was the quiet girl that didn’t cause any trouble and would never do anything to harm David’s career. And that David was just acting the good boyfriend to keep his image perfect for his fans. “So you think he’s acting?”
“Of course,” Jason nodded. “If I’m being honest I probably don’t even know the real David. He’s so closed off.”
That was all Yn could hear. She needed out of there. The small apartment was closing in on her. “Can you tell David I had to go. I need… Look I’ll see you later,” She glanced up at Jason’s confused face before rushing out of the front door and slamming it behind her.
…………………
Yn had only made it out of the apartment building and across the street before she heard her name being yelled from behind her. “Yn… Yn what the hell are you doing?” David quickly caught up with Yn, grabbing her by the arm and making her spin around. “You can’t just run off like that. This isn’t a good neighborhood. What the hell is wrong with you?”
“Just go back to your party, David, I just want to be alone.” Yn tried to walk away but David jumped in front of her.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going back to my apartment and I would like it if you didn’t follow me,” Yn answered as she kept her eyes focused on the ground.
“Well that’s not going to happen,” David replied annoyed. “Your apartment is an hours drive away. If you want to leave the party then come back to my car and I’ll drive you back to my place. Everyone has already agreed to come back to mine anyway.”
“What? So I can watch you film some more half dressed girls, No thank you,” Yn said before trying to walk away again.
“Yn you’re not going anywhere alone,” David said through gritted teeth. He grabbed hold of Yn’s shoulders forcing her to look up at him. “Now what the hell are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about you and your fascination with whore college girls who will do anything to get in one of your vlogs,” Yn snapped causing David’s eyes to widen.
“You think I’m interested in one of those girls back there?”
“I don’t know what the hell you’re interested in,” Yn snapped. I was all coming out. Six months of doubt was pouring out of her. “I watch Todd and Jason and how they are around their girlfriends. Jason’s always all over Trish. Commenting on her body. Saying things to her. Things that you can’t even say to me in private.”
“I’m always telling you how pretty you look,” David said confused.
“The same way someone would say it to their sister,” Yn sighed. Today I went out with Zane and picked the perfect outfit for tonight and all you could do was complain about it. I mean it didn’t do anything for you. Its like you don’t find me sexy. I listen to the stories Trisha tells me of her and Jason’s sex life and I can’t tell her anything about ours. We hardly have one.”
“So you’re saying you want me to sit around with the guys and talk about your tits like Jason does with Trish.” David looked down at Yn annoyed. “Or sit back and enjoy you walking around with your ass cheeks hanging out like Trisha does? Yn I can’t do that. I can’t be that kind of guy.”
“I’m not asking for that, I’m just asking you to show some sort of attraction for me,” Yn sighed. “The same way you showed those girls tonight you were filming.”
“Well you see Yn,” David smirked. “I can’t do that. I can’t look at you the way I look at them.”
“Oh,” Yn nodded. “Because I’m not sexy enough?”
David shook his head slowly before taking a step towards Yn. “Because one day you’re going to be the mother of my children, and I don’t want them seeing their mother on film acting like those girls. Because you’re nothing like those girls. I have been getting teased for years for the way I am with girls. Hell most people think I’m gay because I’m not like Dom or Todd. I don’t go chasing girls and having sex with every girl who shows an interest in me. I’m not out here looking for that.”
“So what are you looking for?”
“I’m looking for what my parents have,” David admitted as he avoided Yn’s eyes. “It might not be a cool thing to say, but I’m looking for someone I can spend the rest of my life with. My parents met in high school and got together right away. I’ve been out of high school for four years. I’ve not got time to waste. If I want what they have I can’t be messing around with girls that I know I have no future with.”
“So what are you doing with me?” Yn asked.
“Trying not to freak you out,” David shrugged as he finally looked into Yn’s eyes. “Remember the night we met?”
“Course I do David,” Yn nodded. “It was only six months ago.”
“Well I’d say ten minutes into meeting you I knew you’d one day be my wife,” David admitted. “And if you don’t believe me then call Alex and ask him. I text him as soon as I got your number that night. And if you don’t believe him them look at this.”
David reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. You watched him search through his contacts before coming to your number. “See?” he asked. “That’s what I saved you as.”
“Future wife?” Yn read out loud.
“Now I know I’ve probably freaked you out talking about marrying you six months into our relationship but You wanted the truth.” David put his phone back into his pocket before pulling out his car key. “If you want me to treat you the way the other guys treat the girls they’re with then I’m sorry I can’t do that. I can’t disrespect you like that. But please don’t think for one second that I don’t think you’re sexy. I think you’re the most sexiest beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on. And I’ve thought that from the second I met you.”
“That’s all I wanted to hear,” Yn admitted looking at David shyly.
“I’ve probably freaked you out with all this marriage talk, haven’t I?” David sighed. “I mean you’re supposed to be the girl in this relationship. God I sound like Trisha.”
“I think you sound sweet,” Yn smiled as she slipped her hand into David’s.
“So do you want me to drive you back to your apartment?”
“Or you could drive me back to your place,” Yn smiled.
“Does that mean our argument is over?” David asked.
“Yes,” Yn smiled as David lead her towards his car. “Unless we can’t agree on our kids names,” she added as a joke.
The smile slipped from David’s face causing Yn to stop walking.
“Oh god you’ve picked our kids names already?”
“Only the first three,” David mumbled before rushing towards the car.
His Little Secret (David Dobrik x Reader)
Anonymous Requested: “David having a secret relationship with someone the vs don’t know and he doesn’t want them to find out because he doesn’t want everything broadcasted everywhere bc the girl is really shy”
He wanted you to meet his friends, but, he knew that wasn’t what was best for you—at least at the moment. He knew that you were shy and slightly timid and meeting people made you nervous. He knew that you hated attention and he respected that, it was a breath of fresh air for him. He found you endearing and cute while you found the way you were, annoying. He also knew that being in a relationship after Liza would be a strange adjustment for his friends and fans and he didn’t want to put you through that possible backlash until he knew for sure that you could handle it.
It was easy at first, to hide you and your relationship. In the beginning, they’d all thought he was still hung up on Liza. They never thought twice when he’d sneak away at odd hours or stare down at his phone with a smile. It had only been a few months but it was slowly getting more and more difficult to hide...
...On this day in particular.
You’d been laid up on his couch, your head on his chest as you watched some cheesy movie that he picked out. Your eyes were slowly threatening to shut but you’d been reawakened by the sound of David’s phone and him groaning about a message saying that a few of his friends were coming over to film. They hardly ever filmed at his house.
You let out a tired yawn before looking up at him with a small smile.
“I’ll just take a nap in your bed,” you said “and when they leave you can wake me up or...join me.” You gave him a quick peck on the lips, pulling yourself up and heading towards his bedroom.
“I’ll definitely be joining you,” he called out causing you to let out a chuckle before shutting the door behind you.
David ran a hand through his hair, his nerves setting in as he thought of ways to make sure his friends avoided his room.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of a few knocks on his door.
It was Jason, Brandon, Josh and Zane. They were wielding cameras.
He grabbed his own camera and set out for footage. He would be pissed if they had interrupted his time with Y/N for nothing.
Everything was going normal, until, Brandon had to be his usual observant and slightly paranoid self and notice the female shoes by the door. It wasn’t like they were heels or anything, they were just converse. Red converse that went perfectly with David’s favorite red vans.
“Who’s are these?”
“Uh—Natalie could have left them here. I never really noticed them.”
“This is the first time I’ve ever seen them,” he retorted as his eyes flickered around the room like some sort of detective. Everyone ignored him, continuing to chat and film as David tried to hide his nervousness.
“Really Dave? Watching chick flicks by yourself? We have to get you a girlfriend.” Jason said, gesturing the camera towards the tv.
“We need to get you a new girlfriend,” David retorted earning a few laughs and an “I’m gonna have to edit that out.”
“Wait...is there a girl here?” Brandon asked out of the blue, David remained calm.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” Josh said.
“It smells girly in here and there’s small shoes by the door and there’s a chick flick playing.”
“I mean Natalie did live here for awhile, those could be any of the girls’ shoes and can’t a dude watch his chick flick without being judged?”
David was good with words.
Brandon huffed before shrugging and David let out a gentle breath.
After his friends left—David crawled into bed, putting his arm around your waist and his face in the crook of your neck.
“You’re worth every bit of trouble,” he whispered.
“I don’t want you to be troubled. I don’t want you to have to stress about me.”
“Y/N, you said I could introduce you to them anytime. I’m the one who knows you aren’t ready..”
“Am I not ready or are you not ready? Are you afraid that they won’t like me because I’m not Liza? Are you afraid that they’ll think you moved on too fast?”
“No! They’ll love you because I love you.”
You turned around slowly, your eyes wide as David realized what he had just said.
“You love me?”
Reaquest Here..and i’ll get to them eventually.
Flowers
Flowers came to my house every other Monday around 1 o'clock. No note, no sign of who brought it. It’s creepy to see something just arrive at your doorstep and not know who they are from. I was new to the area and very naive towards the way the people act in this small town. It became a part of my week to check my front door every monday at 12:30 and wait but the days I would do that they would be placed at my back door. Then I got cameras and placed one at the front and one on the back.
The Monday after I had gotten the cameras the flowers would start showing up on my dining room table and the window was open. I was scared at the thought of a stranger entering my home and placing something there. I checked the camera footage and I couldn’t see anyone. It stressed me out. I cried multiple nights out of fear, whoever this was had complete access to my house and they could just come in and do whatever they wanted.
I contacted the police and they told me to call if this happens again and it did, so I called. They searched my house and asked about my love life, my family, friends, even asked if i drink or do drugs on those days.
So I looked this officer right in the eyes and I said “No, officer, I do not drink or do drugs or I would not have called in fear of you finding out that I did. I called because somebody is leaving flowers an-” the officer cut me off “you should be happy someone is bringing you flowers, not many men will do that. Now we are going to leave, stop wasting our time.”
The officer started to leave my house but before he could I told him “I called because this person has entered my home without my consent, I did not know that someone had entered my home. I have tried everything in my power to catch this person but I can’t” I started to beg the officers to help but they refused saying that I must have done some drugs or I had memory loss. I am 26 years old and I haven’t had any head injuries.
I have no one to talk to about this. My neighbors don’t believe me, the police think i’m crazy, and my family thinks i’m lying. One night I heard some noises. It was three in the morning and I couldn't bring myself to confront the person. Just as I thought everything was clear I heard my door open so I acted like I was asleep. Funny thing about tonight was I didn’t hear my neighbors dog barking like normal, so I occupied my mind with that then I heard my door shut.
I fell asleep after about 30 minutes of nothing happening. When I woke up I was facing my window, again no dog barking. The sun was shining and I sat up in bed and I was about to get ready for work when I looked at my wall. A reddish-brown writing was on my wall that looked like it had been dripping. It read “ Goodnight, my angel.” I almost threw-up when I found out it was blood.
I called the police the next day, they arrived an hour after. I showed the officers the writing and they told me they will do some investigation. I went and stayed with friends for a month, during my stay no flowers came. I was relieved to be free from this. I called the police and asked them if they found the culprit, they replied no. I brushed it off and went to the store thinking this lunatic doesn’t know I’m here. I was wrong, I returned to my friends house and went in “hey girlie, you didn’t tell me you had a boyfriend” I was shocked.
“I don't, why would you think I do?” I laughed, I realize now that I should have been terrified.
“These flowers that were at the door! He must have been shy. Awe!” my friend gushed at the thought of me having a shy boyfriend or a boyfriend in general.
“Are you sure they aren’t for you. I don’t have a boyfriend.” I started to freak out as I waited for her response.
“Nope this note says it’s for you. That’s so cute you have an admirer!” she started squealing as I dialed the police. As soon as the police answered I told them about the new flowers and the knowledge of a not.
“Ma’am please read the note to us.” I rushed over to my friend and took the note to her surprise and read it to the officer.
“Hello my angel, Kat. Please do not fear me. Do not run from me. I just want to help you and in return you will learn to love me. I have dealt with that pest that keeps you awake at night and leaves you tired in the morning. I even dealt with that rude woman at your work you alway complain about. You don’t have to deal with her either. I care about you more than anyone else could ever care about you. You will be mine, I promise. I will see you soon my angel. Love your one and only. P.s. don’t try to get another, I am your only love and any other man will just be in the way but, of course, not for long.”
As I read this to the officer I started crying. The officer tried calming me as I was freaking out. I looked over at my friend to see the look of fear in her face.
“Thank you officer.” I hung up after telling the officer everything I could about the situation. The Officer, who I soon found out was named Sammy, gave me a lot of advice.
“Ma'am, we advise you to move states. Maybe with some family or friends. Someone you trust. We need you to take valuables and leave.” Sammy was very calm when talking to me. She helped keep me calm about the situation and answered my questions the best she could.
“Thank you officer. I will get my stuff from my home and ask my brother if he could let me stay with him.” My voice was still shaky from the events from earlier. I wanted to cry but I need to get somewhere safe before I can let myself relax enough to cry. So, as the officer said, I went back home to pack some things as I messaged my brother.
The message read “may I stay with you for a while? Some stuff has been happening and I need somewhere to stay. I will explain when I get there if you allow me to stay with you.” I sent the message and started to pack my valuables. As I was finishing my packing when I heard footsteps. I ran and hid in my closet. I heard the footsteps get closer till I heard their voice.
“My love, my angel. Please, come to me. I will protect you. I do not mean you harm.” as I heard his voice I silenced my phone, dimmed the brightness, and called the police. Soon they picked up and I know they were asking questions. I quietly explained my predicament to the Officer on the other line.
“My love, please do not disturb the police, we can work this out. I didn’t mean to yell.” I was scared and didn’t know what to do. Was he trying to convince the police that I was lying. The officer didn’t hang up the entire time I was on the phone. I heard the footsteps headed towards my hiding place. I was so scared I was in tears.
“My angel, Please. I didn't mean to scare you. I was just upset.” I covered my mouth to try and stifle my loud breathing. The footsteps got louder.
“My love, my angel, why do you run from me?” I tried to calm my breathing. The footsteps got heavier.
“Come out here my love. COME OUT HERE!” The man started yelling and then I heard something smash. I was so scared of what was going to happen to me that I messaged all of my family members telling them I’m sorry and that I love them. As I sent the last message I heard the front door forced open. I felt so much relief that I accidentally made a loud thank you.As those words left my mouth the closet door opened to show a police officer.
“Are you alright ma’am?” this wasn’t him. Did they get him? Those were my only thoughts as they brought me down stairs. When they got me down stairs they informed me that they did not catch the man who was in my house. A few officers helped me get my stuff in my car. When everything was in I thanked them and headed in the direction of my brother's house. My brother had texted me telling me that it was fine while the police were talking to me.
I have moved to North Carolina with no issues and have been living here for 3 years now. No flowers at 1 o’clock, no home invasions, and everyone is so kind to me. 3 years of peace. So today at 1:13 I opened my front door to go for a walk and there was something at my door. “Shit!” There were flowers on my front Porch.
If Looks Could Kill 3/27
Summary: Emma Swan is a dedicated FBI agent getting over a bad breakup. When she and her partner, Ruby Lucas, are forced to go undercover as contestants on a reality show, Emma is forced to try and win the affections of Killian Jones, a man she despises.
Killian Jones is a lost boy. Having recently been nicknamed the ‘Bad Boy of Boston,’ he’s been living up to his moniker using women and rum to avoid dealing with his dark past. When he’s forced to take the lead in a reality show, he encounters a gorgeous blonde who turns his world upside down.
Rated: M for language, violence, and smut.
Killian was up bright and early on set. It wasn’t really a set though. The location the studio had chosen for filming was a palatial mansion on the Boston coastline. As he toured the grounds he couldn’t help but notice that there was a beautiful view of the ocean from the back of the property but the path there was isolated. He made a mental note, sighting that it would be a great place for privacy.
On the way back to the front of the estate they passed a stable that was actively housing a few horses. His tour guide, a peppy pixie haired production assistant, told him that a few of his one on one dates would include horseback riding.
They returned to the main complex where she pointed out a few rooms to Killian, including the kitchen, formal dinning room, and living room. She explained to him that the mansion consisted of twelve bedrooms and the girls would be bunking there.
Killian would be staying in a separate guesthouse further back on the property. It would give him privacy from the contestants. He was given strict instructions not to allow any of the ladies in the guesthouse.
Before being released Killian was introduced to filming crew. There was a large man named John, who was in charge of the sound operation. A fellow named David was behind the primary camera. The director, Anton, was basically a giant. Killian realized that aside from his tour guide, all of the film crew members were males.
After his tour was finished, Killian was banished to the guesthouse he would be calling home for the next couple of months. Mary Margaret rationalized that the contestants would be arriving soon and they wanted to keep everyone secluded before his big reveal to the ladies.
Killian went back to the guesthouse where he’d be trapped for most of the afternoon. It wasn’t quite as large as his penthouse, but it was plenty of square footage for him to survive in for a few months. It wasn’t nearly as modern either, or as up to date as the main house. Most of the furniture appeared to be civil war era and there was girly wallpaper randomly spread out throughout the rooms.
He went to the small kitchenette searching through each of the cabinets and drawers desperate for any type of alcohol to dull his anxiety. Killian Jones was a one-night stand guy, not a relationship guy, at least not anymore. He hardly ever even remembered the name of the women he brought home. The idea of ‘dating’ the same women over and over made his stomach churn.
Unable to find anything stronger than water, he collapsed on his bed, resigning himself to the idea that he no longer had any control over his life.
The next morning was awkward for Emma. Graham had mistaken their kiss for something more than it was and Emma had felt awful about it. Given her flirting over the past week how could he not have thought it was real, and maybe there was a small part of her that wanted to try him on for size. While she had enjoyed the feeling of his lips against hers, the feeling of having someone desire her, she had to admit there was nothing beyond the warmth he gave her. There was no spark. She could have kissed anyone and felt the same.
She and Graham had discussed it. She apologized for hurling herself at him, and explained that she was trying to hide from Killian. Graham for his part admitted that he had enjoyed it more than he should have, and that he was developing feelings for her. Emma told that she had just gotten out of a long-term relationship. He said her that he understood that it wasn’t something she wanted right now, or something that he could do as her superior, but added that while he respected her decision, if she changed her mind after the case was over, he’d be waiting for her.
Graham and Emma agreed to keep things professional from that point on. They were both adults after all, and when they each left to go home that night, things seemed fine. When she and Ruby made it into the office, something felt off though. The two of them avoided each other when possible and didn’t speak unless it was work related.
The tension didn’t go unnoticed by the others either.
“So Swan,” Will boomed catching the attention of everyone in the room. “I see you got your phone back.” Will glanced over to Robin who was smiling down at the table. “Is there anything you’d like to share with the class?”
Emma choked on the air she was breathing. Ruby patted her on the back trying to help her, while taking in the expressions of everyone in the room. Will’s face was smug, Robin was holding back laughter, and Graham was beet red.
“Um,” Ruby started. “What’s going on?”
“Nothing,” Emma and Graham both yelled too quickly.
Will had a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. “So are we to believe that you weren’t the lovely lass Killian saw snogging Graham?”
“What?!” Ruby’s shout was shrill.
Emma face planted into the conference table.
Graham was still bright red but was trying to regain his composure. “Yes and no,” he started. Will, Robin, and Ruby all narrowed their eyes at him. “Yes Killian saw Emma and I kissing, but no, we weren’t really kissing. We were just trying to ensure that he didn’t see her face and ruin her cover.”
“And what,” Ruby asked turning to Emma, whose face was still resting on the table. “The best way to hide from him was jamming your tongues down each other’s throats. You couldn’t have just turned around?”
Emma finally lifted her head to look at the other agents sitting at the table. Aside from Graham, they were all smiling and laughing, holding back their tears.
“Ha, ha,” she finally replied. “I panicked, okay. Yes, it happened, yes I’m now humiliated, and yes, I’d like to pretend this never happened.”
Everyone continued to laugh for a few more minutes before Graham was able to wrangle everyone back in.
Around noon Emma and Ruby made their way to the mansion with their suitcases full of clothes and gear. The other agents had already planted a few bugs around the house, including the room that Tamara was assigned to, so that Will and Robin could listen in from the surveillance van. The van was disguised as a film storage van so they could stay on the property without raising too much suspicion.
Emma and Ruby both had their own communication devices so they could talk with Will and Robin from wherever they were in the mansion. The girls were given the same tour of the grounds that Killian had had that morning before returning to the mansion to get ready.
Both Emma and Ruby were assigned to the same room so they could have discretion to talk about the case without prying eyes. With their stuff unpacked they began to get ready for the reveal party that evening.
“You have got to be kidding me!”
Emma was fine with looking professional for work, and on occasion she dressed provocatively for a case, but this was different. She had never worn a full evening gown with heels before.
“Relax Em, it’s just for tonight. Haven’t you ever watched the show?” Ruby was almost bubbly at the idea of wearing a skintight red dress.
“I can happily say no,” Emma replied smugly. She preferred for her reality tv viewing to consist of home renovation shows, which Walsh always told her was silly. He said it was stupid since she leased her apartment so she couldn’t change anything even if she wanted to. Then there was the constant traveling, so she wouldn’t even be home to enjoy it.
Walsh.
That thought further soured her mood.
“So today is the introduction,” Ruby said snapping her out of her thoughts. “So all of the girls dress up nice, and he’ll be dressed to the nines as well. They’ll introduce him to all of the girls and we’ll have some champagne. It’s basically just a mixer for everyone to get acquainted, nothing too personal yet.”
Emma mentally thanked the Gods that Ruby was coming with her. Otherwise she’d be completely lost and screw everything up before they even started. Emma was good at the long con, but normally it was a one on one setting. This would be with cameras and millions of people watching.
“After this it will be a little more casual. You still need to dress nice for any potential dates, but it’ll be more like going to a nice dinner, or a picnic in the park. And I saw that.”
Of course she did. Emma meant for Ruby to catch her eye roll. She had to admit though that Ruby had picked out some stunning gowns for them. Emma’s only concern was the color Ruby had picked out for her.
“Are you sure this dress isn’t a little too,” she paused and raised her eyebrows for affect, “bridal style?”
Ruby giggled, “Perhaps, but maybe that’s the point. Just think of it was subliminal messaging.”
Emma sighed and sat back on the bed trying to mentally prepare herself for all of the women and their snide remarks she was sure she’d get.
Around six that evening Killian found two hair and makeup girls at his door. He considered flirting with them, but in the end he decided to steady himself, knowing that he’d have to force being charming for the next fours hours.
It didn’t stop the makeup girl from giggling as she passed one of her brushes dangerously low on his neck. Killian thanked both women as they left only to find that they had quickly been replaced by wardrobe.
They had chosen a simple black tux for him to wear that evening stating that it was neutral enough to match any of the girls’ dresses. The network didn’t want viewers to think they were already favoring some ladies.
He dressed quickly and the wardrobe assistant fussed over him, trying to smooth out imaginary wrinkles and pull off imaginary lint.
Finally Killian was left on his own to wait until all of the women had been corralled into one of the rooms in the mansion. There was a grand staircase that lead to the room and he was to welcome everyone and make a small speech at the top of the stairs, before heading down to meet all of the women.
When the time arrived and Killian heard the knock on his door his stomach began doing somersaults. He had been dreading this since the moment he resigned himself to signing the contract. Even if the whole thing was for show, and he wasn’t actually going to be engaged to one of these women, he felt like he was committing the ultimate betrayal.
Mary Margaret loaded him onto a golf cart and took him back up to the main compound. She led him up what she labeled the butlers stairwell to the top floor, stopping him just outside of view of the grand staircase.
“Wait here for a second and I’ll address the ladies really fast just to get their attention and give them instructions. Then I’ll come back for you.”
He nodded unable to form words as she stepped away. He could hear her muffled voice calling for all of the women to be quiet. She gave them instructions on how to react when Killian appeared, citing that the viewers really liked it when the girls gasped and jumped up and down.
She gave a few more directions before coming back for him.
This was hell. There was nothing else it could have been. Twenty-three other women were milling around the room in their best dresses and most expensive jewels. Emma and Ruby had been instructed to mingle with the other contestants and try to forge some friendships to help them blend in.
As she wandered around the room holding her glass of champagne she felt an arm wrap around her shoulders.
“Come on Em. It’s not like your marching to your death here.”
Of course Ruby would be in her element here. She was a social butterfly by nature and loved people watching.
Just then, Mary Margaret appeared giving the girls instructions to stay quiet for now, but to jump up and down and scream when Killian arrived. He appeared at the top of the stairs soon after and smiled down at all of the women. He paused for a moment, and Emma saw something in that pause. It was as if he were willing himself to want these women. Soon, his face shifted though and he was suddenly ready to devour each of them. He made a speech about how excited he was for all of them to be there, and how much he looked forward to getting to know them all.
He made his way down the stairs and was immediately surrounded by women. Admittedly, he cleaned up nicely. Even in the bar he had been handsome, but then he opened his mouth and ruined it. Emma could understand why the women were all so taken with him. None of them had heard him speak before, that or they were all brain dead fame seekers.
“I’m about two seconds away from breaking this glass and shoving the stem into my eye.” Emma growled out. She heard chuckles in her ear coming from the two men in the van.
“Oi.” Obviously Will. “Come on Swan, you’re living out my dream in there, while I’m stuck here, peeing in a bottle. Please let me live vicariously through you.”
Emma took a deep breath and whispered ‘shut up’ under her breath garnering her more chuckles. She felt Ruby latch onto her arm, dragging her across the room, making her almost spill her champagne.
They approached a group of girls and Ruby wasted no time introducing the two of them. “Hi ladies. My name is Ruby Wolfe, and this is my friend Emma Fowler.” She held out her arm, shaking each woman’s hand as they introduced themselves. The first was a sweet young woman named Elsa Arendelle. She was stunning, and even without her heels would have towered over Emma. Her hair was much lighter than Emma’s and her eyes were as blue as glaciers, a perfect match to the blue gown she wore. Next up was Belle French, who also happened to be from France. She made a joke about showing Killian a few French things she could do while glancing over at him, which made Emma want to gag. Lastly there was a woman named Mulan something or another. Emma couldn’t help but notice that Mulan was watching Ruby far more than the man of the hour.
The women continued introducing themselves and telling each other about their jobs and where they were from. Just as they finished, Emma noticed Killian making his way to her group, and excused herself to go meet everyone else.
Each time Emma made her way through the introductions she found that Killian was heading her way. He was really taking this meet everyone thing seriously. Emma knew he had to be enjoying all of this attention. All of the women in the room were swooning over him, even Ruby. Well everyone except for Mulan, Emma thought.
As she moved around the room she felt like she was beginning to suffocate. Between Robin and Will’s chirping in her ear, Ruby bugging her to be nicer and more outgoing, and all of the ambient noise of the room, she felt like she was drowning in a see of bodies. She needed fresh air soon. Luckily it was only ten more minutes before Mary Margaret reappeared telling them that they were done for the evening and had enough footage. She told them they could mingle for a little longer if they wanted to, but weren’t required to be there anymore if they wanted to turn in for the night.
Emma made a break for it moving to the nearest exit she could find.
Killian watched as the blonde siren left the room alone. From the moment he saw her from the top of the staircase, she had become a beckon in the night. He found her on the outskirts of the room talking to a few other ladies while glancing around the room, taking everything in. As he made his way down the stairs towards her though he was accosted by a group of women all telling him how dashing he was and how sexy his voice was. One girl even asked him to sing for them. When he decline she offered to do karaoke with him on a date.
He had to worm his way out of their group to continue searching for the woman in the light gown. He found her, but just as he made his way to her, she disappeared, and he was forced to listen to women gush over him again. It was nothing he hadn't heard before. Girls at the bar told him the same things before he brought them home, but here, in that room, it was overwhelming and all so fake. Every time he found her, she would move on. He and she repeated their dance for the rest of the night, never meeting up.
She was a challenge he was all too happy to accept. He politely excused himself from the last group of ladies that had gathered around him after Mary Margaret wrapped them for the night. He was almost out of the room before he thought better and doubled back to a waiter to grab two glasses of champagne off a tray before heading back in the direction she went.
He wandered down a hallway trying to remember where all he had been on the tour. Everything had been a blur that morning and none of it seemed familiar. Just as he was about to give up hope and head back, he heard the soft clicking noise of a door ahead.
He continued on before coming to a set of French doors surrounded by a wall of floor to ceiling windows. He definitely hadn’t been down here before. He quietly slipped through the doors and what he found took his breath away. It was a huge balcony overlooking the back gardens, and just past that he could see the dimly lit docks, which provided just enough light to see the waves rolling in.
The site of the blonde leaning against the balcony wall certainly didn’t hurt either.
“Gorgeous.”
She jumped obviously unaware that anyone had joined her.
“And I wasn’t just referring to the landscape.”
She looked back at him briefly before returning her gaze to the gardens. He walked forward tentatively before settling on a spot about three feet away from her against the wall. He held out his hand to offer her one of the glasses of champagne, which she gladly accepted.
“It would seem that you’ve been avoiding me,” He tried not to take her silence as off putting.
“I haven’t been avoiding anything,” she replied in almost a whisper.
“I’m quite perceptive you know, and this,” he waved his hand around acknowledging their secluded surroundings, “is avoidance. I thought tonight was all about meeting everyone, but every time I’ve walked up to a group you’ve been in you’ve run off somewhere else.”
She gave him the smallest of smiles. “I’m surprised you noticed. I would have thought that we’d all have blended in together in your mind. In case you haven’t noticed there a lot more blondes in there than just me.” She finally angled her body to face him lifting her glass to her lips.
He raised his eyebrows at her before saying “Don’t I know it.”
The words earned him a dramatic eye roll from her. There was something familiar about her but he couldn’t place it. He furrowed his forehead in concentration.
“What?” She scrunched up her face in contemplation of him.
“I’m just having the oddest sense of déjà vu.” As he said it he cocked his head to the side as if the motion would help everything fall into place in his mind.
She gave him a sly grin before taking another sip of her drink. “It’s the universe talking.”
“I’m sorry?” It wasn’t a statement as much as a desire for her to continue. He took a small step towards her trying to encourage her.
“It’s this thing someone told me once.” Her words were soft and there was a little bit of sadness echoing through. She turned back towards the garden. “So there’s this idea that there are an infinite number of universes, all containing the same people, but what makes them all different is the paths that we take. In one universe a couple gets married, in another they break up. Each different path leads to another choice, creating more possible outcomes, and more universes, but sometimes, despite all of the choices we could make in life, we find every version of ourselves in the same place at the same time. For just one split second, you can feel it through time and space, like an echo. It’s like for just a brief moment, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be, but then everything starts over again. Or at least it goes something like that.”
Even without seeing her whole face he could tell the hurt that must be dancing behind her eyes. He felt a kindredness for her in that moment. He waited, not knowing how to respond. Choosing to break the tension he leaned in towards her.
“So you’re telling me, or the universe is telling me, that at this exact moment I’m supposed to be doing you.” She snorted and he immediately saw the flush crawling up from her neck into her face, even in the dark.
“Easy tiger,” her coyness had returned. “I never said I believed it.”
He laughed in response before turning back to the garden himself. “I actually quite like that theory.”
“Ya?”
“Yes. I’d like to think that if, for even only a second, I’ve found myself where I’m meant to be, that it means I haven’t strayed as far off my path as I thought I had.”
She contemplated his words for a moment before agreeing. “Hmm, I guess I’ve never thought of it that way. I kind of like that idea.”
They both remained still for a few more moments taking in the way the stars glistened across the water. He felt that perhaps her walls might have been coming down.
“I didn’t catch your name by the way.”
“That’s because I didn’t give it.” He could see the moment the defenses began reforming.
“Let’s start over. I’m Killian Jones.” He held out his hand for her, which she took reluctantly. He brought hers up to his lips and placed a gentle kiss across her knuckles.
“And I am the woman who’s going to bed now.” Her eyes blew wide at the realization of her words and their double meaning as he raised his eyebrows at her. “Alone I might add.”
She removed her hand from his and walked back to the french doors. Just before ducking in she turned back to him.
“It’s Emma by the way.”
Then she was gone and Killian was left standing alone with the biggest grin on his face. For the first time in two years, he felt it.
Hope.
Once Emma had returned to her room she took her earpiece out setting it on her nightstand and changed out of her dress into a tank top and comfortable shorts. She washed the makeup off her face and brushed her teeth in the adjoining bathroom. Just as she was tucking herself into her bed Ruby shot up from under her own covers.
“Spill!”
Ruby had heard everything through Emma's com device.
“There’s nothing to tell, really.” That was her story and she was sticking to it, rationalizing that the flutter in her stomach was only caused by too much alcohol on an empty stomach, and not by how well his tux fit his perfectly toned body, or the depth of his blue eyes, or even the light scar on his cheek that she wanted to brush her thumb over. No, it was the alcohol only.
“Uh huh. It’s late and I’m tired so I’ll let you have this one,” Ruby yawned out. “For now, but this isn’t over, Emma Swan.”
Ruby laid back and her breathing evened out quickly. Emma finally fell into a fitful nights sleep plagued with nightmares of bad memories.
Neal Cassidy. He was relentless in his attempt to win a first date with her. The first time he came up to her was at a table in the diner around the street from her work. He slid into the booth across from her without asking and smiled at her.
“Sorry, but what kind of man would I be if I left a woman in distress?” Emma was taken aback. “I would hardly consider myself in distress.”
He smiled back before adding, “You were eating alone, which is just pitiful. Really, I’m saving you from a lifetime of loneliness and hundreds of cats in your old age.”
This guy was awful.
“Don’t worry, I’m in no danger there. I’ve always been more of a dog person. Now if you don’t mind.” She stood up from the table, left a few bills for her meal and tip, and headed back to the office.
The next day she returned to the diner and he slid in across from her again. After that she avoided eating there for a few days before eventually returning the following Monday. When she walked in she looked over the diner to make sure he wasn’t there. Feeling safe, she sat down in her favorite spot and ordered her usual. No sooner had she ordered he was there again.
“You know, I’m getting the oddest sense of déjà vu, like I’ve rejected you before.”
Her arms were crossed over her chest and he just leaned back and gave a hearty laugh.
“You know, there’s this whole theory about déjà vu and the universe...”
Emma woke with a lump in her throat and tears in her eyes.
Who’s Gonna Pay For This?
A Karamel Drabble
A/n: I started this before the finale, but I’m editing it and posting it as fast as I can now because I think we could all use some humor and fluff after that heart-breaking goodbye scene. Message me or review with any suggestions or comments you want me to hear!...or Read. I’m not as proud of this as some of my other things. I think I could have made it better, but I hope you all enjoy anyway. I’m probably doing some real karamel smut next because I’m horny. Anybody have some good kink ideas?
Alex sat down at her desk that morning, taking a sip of coffee to blow away the cobwebs. J’onn had asked her to come in early and review the security tapes; he had been paranoid since the threat of a white Martian attack. Not that she could blame him. But getting to work at six a.m. to watch blank tapes wasn’t exactly her idea of a great morning, or anyone’s for that matter. She briefly glanced at her cell to see a sweet text from Maggie.
Kick ass at work today, Danvers. I’ll make up for the early morning tonight with your favourite ice cream.-Maggie
She smiled at the encouragement from her girlfriend. Just talking to Maggie always made her feel a little better, somehow a little more energetic and relaxed at the same time. She let a small smile lift her lips as she logged onto her DEO computer, finding the files of last night’s security tapes. Another agent had monitored all the security cam footage until everyone left last night at eight. That meant she had about ten hours of new footage to scan over. Yipee. She better be getting a bonus soon for this.
She started the first tape and inevitably stared at a blank screen, speeding up the video so that it wouldn’t take all day to get through. She switched her attention to the footage of the dorm rooms to see if any of their more civil alien residents had done anything interesting last night. See, the DEO agents would often run across alien refugees in the street, struggling in one way or another. They offered them a place to live at the DEO and gave them lessons in earth culture and how to keep themselves safe. They stayed there until they could safely acclimate to National City or wherever they wanted to go on their own. Maybe she’d get to see one of the Hellgrammites they’d brought in last week shapeshift. J’onn had told her that they do that sometimes when they’re bored.
Nope. Nada. Not one resident was doing anything remotely interes-….Alex Danvers cut off her thought process as she saw a naked blond woman throw her head back, seated on top of an equally naked DEO resident. Her eyes widened as she slowed the footage tor regular speed, trying to see more closely. The woman had her back turned to the camera, but something about the shape of the man’s face was familiar. She zoomed in the video just a little and her jaw dropped, recognizing the man as Mon-El…Oooh she shouldn’t be watching this. She paused the video and was just about to cancel out when she remembered that Kara seemed to have been showing signs of feelings for this Daxamite lately. And there he was….getting flat out RIDDEN by another woman. How did he even get a random woman into the DEO? Oh that jackass was in for it.
She reluctantly pressed play one more time-she planned to rewind the video to see how he got the woman into his dorms. But right before she could press the rewind button, the woman angled her face towards camera inadvertently as she moaned. Alex grimaced at the very personal sound until something horrible dawned on her. She was staring at her little sister’s face. The woman in the video, riding Mon El like a cowgirl, was….Kara???
She made an embarrassingly girly sound of terror and slammed the off button on her computer. But can you really blame her?
Alex sat in her chair for a few seconds, completely in shock, debating if J’onn would agree to mind wipe her if she asked…Deciding that it was unlikely, she closed her eyes and pressed her fist to her eyelids, trying to scrub the images out.
Well…she thought, after a few minutes of accepting the horror, At least he wasn’t with another woman…
Oh this is not how she wanted to spend her morning. Not at all. But being a good big sister meant looking out for Kara. And her logical agent mind was telling her that after…all of that, Kara would likely fall asleep and….Alex checked the live footage of Mon-El’s dorm room and yep-they were both asleep in Mon El’s bed. Butt naked. Joy.
She reluctantly got up from her standard, spinny office chair and left the room, heading down the hall to wake up Kara before J’onn and the others came in and the most embarrassing day of Kara’s life commenced. As uncomfortable as the whole thing made her, she didn’t want her sister to suffer through that.
So with the bravery of a true warrior, the very professional DEO agent and doctorate carrying woman knocked on the door of the dorms and waited for her naked sister to wake up and disentangle herself from her boyfriend’s arms…She couldn’t believe this was her life. It was so…normal. Seeing as how she was used to fighting psychopaths and alien monsters every week, this was almost a refreshing change of pace. Almost.
Kara’s first conscious thought was that she didn’t think she’d ever felt more comfortable. Except for, maybe, that time when there’d been some kind of solar eclipse and she managed to catch a cold. Eliza had made her tomato soup and grilled cheese, then tucked her into bed after she had watched cartoons all day. She felt so safe at the time, with her adoptive family watching over her. It was one of her first memories of feeling accepted and loved at the Danver’s home. It was the first time it truly felt like HER home.
It was a similar feeling now, except with a little more of a mature tinge to it. She kept her eyes closed, but she could feel one of Mon El’s arms wrapped around her waist and his other hand holding hers over her chest. She squeezed his fingers and sighed, taking a moment to just snooze and relax. As Supergirl, moments to herself where she had nothing at all to worry about was not something she received off.
Damn, Mon-El, why are you so hot? She thought. And no, she didn’t mean hot as in physically attractive, although…that was true. She meant his arms around her were so warm that she’d be sweating if she were human. She’d slept and snuggled in the same bed as Alex when they were kids and she was not this warm. Maybe it was a guy thing? Being toasty when they sleep? She’d have to ask Alex or Lena-someone with more experience sleeping in the same bed as a man.
But still, his weight by her back felt good, solid. He wasn’t holding her down like he was restricting her. Rather, feeling him beside her-behind her-anchored her in her own strength somehow. She knew she wasn’t alone now, in a way she had always been alone before. Sure, she had great friends and great family, but they weren’t…her perfect partner. They didn’t understand her pain at losing her people or the awkwardness that stems from living on a foreign planet. Their bodies didn’t fit hers the way his dad, like a puzzle, as corny as it sounds. He could go into battle by her side and watch her back, literally.
But he also challenged her; he told her when she was being self-righteous or arrogant, but in a way where she still knew that he thought the world of her. He didn’t make things easy for her all the time, but that’s not what a relationship is. You don’t always get along and agree on every little thing. You fight. You bicker. You listen to each other and make up. That pattern, the pattern of a normal relationship, made her feel….not human, but like she fitted in.
Her entire life, she’d had to struggle to fit in anywhere. She has the Danvers and she’s always considered them her family. She loves them more than she does herself. But even with them, at the very beginning, she had to work to get used to being in their family, to doing things the way they did. When she first started school, she had to hide parts of herself so the other children would accept her. When she applied for jobs, like at Catco, she had to earn her place. She never just…fell naturally into place somewhere. Until Mon-El.
Being with him was just…easy. They’ve already had rough patches and there are bound to be more in their future, but even the arguing feels natural. Like its her role. Like it’s her job to yell at him and smack his arm when he’s being selfish and egotistical. And in return for inspiring him to be better, he makes her feel like she’s priceless, like he could search the stars and never find someone more amazing.
She opened her eyes, just a little bit, to peak at him as he slept. She could hear his heart beating, steady and slow. His face was completely relaxed and he looked younger when he was like this, almost boyish. Like all his worries had slipped away. There was a small smile on his lips, like he was dreaming about getting everything he’d ever wanted. She made a mental note to ask what his dreams were about once he woke up.
Kara’s little glass bubble of happiness shattered when she heard a knock at the door. She was shocked at herself for not having heard the footsteps leading up to the knock. She shot up from bed, standing by Mon-El’s still sleeping form and looked down at herself-naked. Ok, can’t answer the door like that. She looked around frantically for something to throw on and found her tank top and jeans from the night before. Her blouse was ripped to pieces, but this would do. She quickly slipped on what clothes had survived her night and super-sped to the door.
Her face went as red as her cape when she carefully peaked the door open and saw her adoptive sister’s face, looking just a tad judgy.
“Oh,” she grinned, forcing a smile along with some uncomfortable laughter,” Hi Alex!…what are you doing here so early? Wait…it is early, isn’t it?” She had been very tired after last night’s activities and she wasn’t exactly sure how long she had slept.
“Oh nothing,” she tilted her head nonchalantly, “I just came to politely ask you to, next time, refrain from having sex in view of the security cameras.” Alex Danvers had to press her lips together firmly and bite her tongue to keep from breaking out in embarrassed laughter.
Kara’s face immediately scrunched in on itself, nose crinkled like a bunny as she peaked open one eye, “Gah, the cameras….shoot….so you…you saw…” she trailed off and made a vague gesture to up and down her body. Alex had lived with Kara long enough to translate her verbal diarahea and awkward nonsensical gestures.
The older woman smirked, “I’d forgotten you had that birthmark on your-“
“Ok! So you saw everything. Uhm…”
Alex only nodded, “I’ll delete the footage. Don’t worry.”
Kara let out a deeply relieved sigh and gave her sister a half smile, “Thank you. I owe you big time. Like chocolate ice cream and movie marathon. You are seriously the best.”
“Well, of course. But I expect to hear full details on your first time during that movie night.”
“Yes ma’am,” Kara looked over her shoulder and peeked back at the sleeping Mon-El behind her. She couldn’t help but smile, “I’m just gonna go back to bed and...enjoy this a little more,” she blushed, “…is anyone else here?”
“No-we’re not technically open yet. I came in earlier to review security footage. You’re safe.”
“Thank you!” Kara hugs her sister, eternally grateful and turns around to walk back to bed.
Before Alex closes the door though, she calls to Kara, “You might wanna put makeup on that hickey before you officially clock in this morning.”
Mon-El smiled as he started to wake up, remnants of his dream still playing through his mind. Him and Kara were in bed at her apartment, sunlight filtering through the blinds to land on her back. In his dream, he had been kissing at her neck, trying to wake her up.
In reality, they were barely fitting on his cot in the DEO, but she was in his arms as he woke up and that’s all he cared about. He tucked a piece of her wayward blond hair behind her ear, not knowing if she was awake or not. He heard her release a sigh and felt her press herself back against him.
“Good morning,” she mumbled into his arm, which she was using as a pillow.
As her backside pressed against him, he realized what effect his dream had had on his body. He groaned and wrapped his free arm around her waist from behind her, “Kara, please. Have mercy.”
The woman giggled and turned her face slightly to look at him, “What? I’m just enjoying waking up like this.”
He shook his head, amused at how innocent she was, “Yes, but you’re also causing a rather painful problem for me.”
“What?” her eyebrows crinkled in confusion until she felt the hardness pressing against her ass, “Oh…” she flushed, a flash of heat running through her body from head to toe, “But all I did was cuddle into you.”
He chuckled and looked away from her eyes as he admitted, “I may have been having an adult dream about you before I woke up.”
“Oh!” she grinned, strangely happy this morning, “I was going to ask you what you were dreaming about-you were smiling in your sleep earlier.”
He smirked wickedly and pushed his erection further into her back, “I was dreaming about kissing every inch of your skin, over and over, for the rest of my life.”
She turned over onto her other side, facing him and putting a hand on his cheek, “Pretty words, pretty boy.”
He smiled sweetly at her and leaned in to kiss her nose, “I just want you to know how grateful I am that you let me have you this way, that you chose me. I want you to know how long and how much I’ve wanted this. You are everything, Kara.”
Kara froze, completely unused to having someone pour their hearts out to her that way, to having someone appreciate her for her so genuinely. He made her feel so…precious. And so alive. But she didn’t know how to word it; she wasn’t ready to confess her full feelings to him yet. So instead, she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and decided to just show him how she felt. She grinned at him as she pulled him in for a kiss, a little aggressively, tugging on his hair. He growled playfully from the back of his throat and started peppering kisses down her neck.
“Mm,” he smiled against her skin, “You smell like vanilla you know?”
She giggled, his nose tickling her throat, “I know. It’s my body lotion.”
He titled his head to look up into her eyes, crappy fluorescent lights of the dorms shining in the blue somehow, “I like it,” he grins and kisses her nose, “Don’t change it, please. It makes me think of you, makes me think of…”
“Home?” he breathed softly, stroking his cheek.
His smile widened by a thousand watts and he nodded, wrapping his arms around her tighter, “Yep.”
He leaned his body weight into her and started playfully nipping at her collarbone. Just being around her roused something in him, like something in his chest was swelling. He didn’t really know how to deal with the emotions. Fully realizing what Kara meant to him always left him feeling overwhelmed, nervous, and a little breathless. He just wanted to kiss her forever.
“Good,” she smiled cheesily, her nose crinkling in the way it does when she’s not faking anything.
She pushed him to his back and swung a leg over him, straddling his waist. She smirked at the taken aback look on his face. She leaned down and kissed him deeply, swiping her tongue past his lips and sliding her hands down his back. He moaned and pulled her hips down onto his, his need for her growing faster than he knew what to do with. He flicked his tongue, licking the roof of her mouth in the way that he learned last night made her sigh and relax her body into him.
She let out a quiet, adorably satisfied sound and gripped his shoulders a little too harshly, probably bruising him just a tad.
“Excuse me, kids,” Alex’s voice came on over the intercom, “I’d appreciate it if you’d refrain from kissy face on camera. I already have enough footage to delete.”
Mon-El’s eyes went comically wide as he heard the voice come over the loud speakers, “…Your sister…can see us?”
Kara laughed nervously and itched behind her ear, “Um yeah-we never destroyed those cameras. Did I forget to mention that?”
His eyebrows shot up as he nodded slowly, trying not to be amused, “Uh…yes, you did.”
Kara let out a breath and bit her lip, sliding off of his lap, “Sorry. She came in earlier while you were asleep. She said she’d delete the security cam footage for us. So that’s one less thing to worry about.”
Mon-El let out a laugh of disbelief and rested his head in his hands, rubbing his face, “Yep. That’s great.”
Kara’s brows furrowed in concern, picking up on his agitation, rubbing his shoulder, “Is something wrong?”
Mon-El shook his head and raised his head to meet her eyes, “No, nothing, just…how do I put this delicately in English…male problem?” he subtly glanced down to his crotch then back up to her.
Kara would bet a hundred dollars Alex was watching from the security room and laughing. She would be right.
“Oh,” Kara grimaced sympathetically, seeing his issue, “I-uhm, sorry, I…caused that.”
Her cheeks were red. She was still sort of shy dealing with this stuff; she had never been in this type of situation. Waking up with a man, with man body parts doing…what they do in the morning.
Luckily for her, said man found her awkwardness very cute.
“Don’t ever be sorry, Kara,” he smiled at her, shaking his head like she was being silly. He pulled her close and gave her a sweet kiss, “It just means I care about you and love being close to you. I do wish there was something we could do about it, but…camera…” he pointed at the camera in the corner and waved, “Hey, Alex.”
The sound of Alex clearing her throat came on over the speaker, “Mon, El. Good morning. What’s up?”
Kara had never seen someone glare at a security camera before Mon-El did in that moment, “Not funny.”
Kara fought to contain her chuckles, “…it was a little funny?” she held up two fingers an inch apart and smiled at him.
“Mm,” he hummed in irritation and laid back down, “Not when you’re the one frustrated. Come here. Let me hold you some more.”
Kara couldn’t hold back the smile at his request. She laid back down beside him and let him pull her in so their bodies were pressed as close together as possible. She couldn’t help but teasingly rub her backside against his erection, loving the pained growly moan that erupted from his throat when she did.
“Kara,” he warned, stroking her arm softly, “Do that again and I will take you in full view of the camera and your sister.”
She flushed happily, heat rushing from her cheeks to her core to her toes. She nodded and sighed out a ‘sorry’ before she rolled over to look at him.
She looked up at his steely eyes and kissed his chin, “You’re getting stubble,” she noted before nuzzling her head down in his chest.
He chuckled and stroked her hair, closing his eyes, “I lost my razor.”
She said nothing as he ran his hands up and down her back soothingly.
“Oh, that reminds me,” he yawned, possibly more comfortable than he’d ever been, “Can you give me a haircut tomorrow with the laser vision?”
“Mhm, sure,” she mumbled and smiled right before she fell back to sleep.
From the security room, Alex was happy to see that her sister had finally found someone she could be disgustingly domestic with.
At promptly 10:02 a.m, director J’onn J’onzz was walking through the DEO main control room, checking for any updates. He got a brief summary from agent Schott, regarding the new upgrade to Mon-El’s suit he was working on. He was enabling it to be lead-proof, but it was still in the testing phase. He checked with Alex to make sure that all the security camera footage was free of possible signs of invaders. She had assured him that there was absolutely nothing of note on the footage, although she had a strange smile on her face as she said it.
“Call Supergirl to come in. I want her to train some new recruits,” he told Alex, “But tell her to be softer this time, please. I don’t need more broken trainees.”
“Yes sir,” Alex nodded.
The director looked back to the resident tech wiz and questioned, “Has Mon-El checked in yet this morning? We should go over the specs of his new gear with him.”
“No, not yet, sir. He should be in the dorms, though. He checked in last night at eight,” Winn noted as he scanned the records on his screen.
“That’s odd. He’s supposed to check in at 9…” J’onn frowned, a little suspicious. It might surprise several people, but the Daxamite was usually very punctual at work. He’d never checked in more than two minutes late before.
As J’onn was speaking, Winn had opened the security camera footage for the dorms, tuning in to Mon-El’s room. His eyes widened as he took in the chunks of concrete missing from the walls, the lockers half-way knocked over, and the…clothes strewn around the room? He finally focused on Mon-El’s bed and saw two figures curled up around each other….Oh shit. He sat there in shock for a minute, at catching two of his friends half-naked in bed, before he realized that he could under no circumstances let J’onn see that. He had to protect his best friend after all.
“What is-“ Winn quickly exited out of the camera feed as J’onn came over his shoulder.
“Nothing, sir! He’s just sleeping. Must have overslept.”
J’onn’s eyes narrowed in doubt before he started confidently striding towards the dorms. “I don’t know what you’re trying to hide, Mr. Schott, but I can just walk in there and check for myself.”
After making the short journey to the residents’ dorms, J’onn threw open the door to Mon-El’s room. He didn’t know what expected to be making Mon-El late, but he was most definitely not anticipating seeing a bare Supergirl laid on top of him. If that hadn’t been enough to shock his system, his eyes widened when he took in the damage they’d done to the room around him. Oh, he very much did not want to know how any of this happened.
Feeling the anger start to build up within him, J’on slammed the door closed. At the rather loud sound of the door closing, Kara quickly shot awake, sitting up in bed. Her eyes met J’onn’s and for once in her life, she was grateful that she wasn’t human. It meant she never had to have awkward moments like this with her father figure catching her in bed with a boy. Until today.
“J’onn…if we can just get-“
Mon-El started to stir at all the commotion; he was half awake as he groaned and he rolled over in bed, stuffing his face into his pillow. How helpful, Kara thought, unable to not find how deeply he sleeps a little bit endearing.
J’onn held up one hand as a sign for Kara to stop protesting and simply be quiet, “I am going to turn around and walk out of here. I will pretend this never happened. I will dock both you and Mon-El’s next paycheck in order to pay for these repairs. You will fix the damage to this room within the next two days and we will never speak of this again. Agreed?”
“Agreed.”
Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your perspective, Dana happened to walk by the open dorm door as J’onn scolded the two. She walked by, paused, then back-tracked. She tilted her head to see into the room subtly and noticed Mon-El’s shirtless self. She smirked to herself and looked at J’onn, “If this is a proposal for Mon-El’s super suit, I support.”
The Winchesters Changed My Life Pt. 10: Reconnecting with Charlie
Characters: Dean, Sam, Charlie, Reader
Length: 2,616 words
Warnings: don’t drown in the fluff!
Summary: Charlie assist the trio with the case. The truth comes out about Charlie and the readers relationship.
A/N: I suck at summaries...
**Not my gif**
You and Charlie both look at the boys smiling arms around each other in a side hug. "Charlie came in to the bar every time I worked for a good three months a few years back. We really got to know each other well during that time," you say to the boys. "We have so much to catch up on girly!"
"Can we wait to have you two catch up until we figure out this case first please?" Dean asks moving to sit down on the couch behind you.
"Yea, sorry, I was just not expecting you guys to have a third person here, let alone that person be Y/N," Charlie says as she moves to sit next to Sam to learn more about the case. You take a seat next to Dean and he wraps an arm around you.
"So you and Charlie know each other. What a small world." Dean smiles at you.
"Well, I guess we were right in saying that you would love her."
"Yea, I guess you could say that," you say as you lay your head on Dean's shoulder. "So what's the plan for today?" You ask.
"Well after we get Charlie up to speed you and I are going to hit up the scene as FBI. Once we get in we will call in Charlie as our tech person. We will relay any information we get to Sam who will be stationed at the library nearby doing research from the start."
"Okay then." As you respond you look over to Sam and Charlie where you see Charlie looking at you and gives you a raised eyebrow before turning back to the computer screen where Sam was pointing.
*******************************************
You and Charlie were in the office where the attack had happened. Dean had gone down to the morgue to check out the body. You were watching over Charlie's shoulder as the security footage played in front of you. You could see the victim sitting at his desk and then stand to go answer the door. You had seen the shadow of a man outside the door, but when the victim stood up the shadow was gone. When he opened the door a dog jumped at him. You watched the horrible death happen and the heart get eaten. The dog then turned to leave and outside the door all of a sudden there was a shadow of a man again. You called Sam.
"Sam? Hey, it's Y/N and Charlie. Hey, it's a skinwalker. No, I'm positive. We just watched the video and we saw the change. Well, the shadow of the change. Charlie, can you try to get the camera that would see the outside of the door? Okay, see you later. I will call if we find anything else out."
As soon as Charlie clicked the video feed over you saw who the skin walker was. "Charlie, you beautiful nerd you, you did it!" You hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek.
"Woah, am I interrupting something?" Dean asks as he walks in the door. You pull away from Charlie quickly. "No, Charlie just blew the case wide open, we know what we are dealing with and who the monster is," you respond.
"Oh really? Well the heart..." Dean starts.
"Is missing, we know," Charlie says, "it is a skinwalker, and the skinwalker is the guy who let us in here in the first place."
Dean's smile drops a little realizing that his trip to the morgue was for nothing. "Well, okay then. Let's go drop this douche and head home."
"Let's go get Sam and head back to the motel so that we can get everyone caught up to speed and get ready to take this guy out," you say.
*******************************************
The hunt is done and Dean took out the skinwalker. You had all cleaned up and decided to go out to the local bar to celebrate. The four of you walked in and found a little table in the corner. Dean had gone and got drinks for all of you. The boys decided to hustle a little pool. While they were gone you and Charlie continued to drink getting a little tipsy.
"I want to dance! Come dance with me Y/N!" Charlie said excitedly as she got up out of the booth and pulling you behind her. Charlie dragged you on to the dance floor and started dancing against you. It took you a moment, but you finally got in to the moment and started dancing with her seductively. You could feel eyes watching the two of you from all around the bar.
Dean and Sam were two pairs of those eyes watching you. Dean leaned against the pool table taking a drink from his beer and looked towards Sam, "Do you think there is more to that relationship than we know?"
"What, you mean between Y/N and Charlie? Maybe, all I know is that they met each other at that bar where we found Y/N. Why do you know something I don't?" Sam asked.
"Well, when I came back from the morgue Y/N was hugging Charlie from behind and kissing her shoulder," Dean responded.
"People do that all the time Dean. Are you just fantasizing about them having been together or something? I mean it would make sense for Charlie, but does Y/N swing that way?" Sam asked.
"I guess we will have to ask!" Dean said excitedly. The boys finished their pool game earning themselves $500 and headed towards you.
"Ladies, shall we head back to the room?" Dean asks smiling.
"Oh sweetie, you know I don't swing that way," Charlie responds winking at Sam as Dean blushes.
"No...I mean..." Dean stammers
"I know what you mean Dean, I just like to see you squirm" Charlie says grabbing Dean's hand and pulling him off the dance floor towards the door leaving you and Sam to follow.
Back at the motel you flop down on the couch and Charlie joins you. Sam takes a seat at the table and Dean throws himself on the bed. You laugh as he bounces on the bed.
"So what's the story between you two?" Dean asks looking between you and Charlie questioningly.
"Well, like we said earlier. I came in to the bar every time Y/N was working for several months. It was actually just after I had met you two and the leviathans. I stopped in this little tiny town and worked IT for the community school for a while. I was an outsider, but Y/N made me feel welcome. We got to know each other really well. She was my only friend in that little town. I felt bad leaving Y/N behind before I came here to Chicago," Charlie stated.
"That's it? There isn't more to the story?" Dean asked. Sam looked at you giving you a smile which seemed to apologize for Dean's interrogation.
"Do you want there to be more Dean?" You ask.
"Well, ummm...you two just seemed really comfortable on the dance floor. I was just curious."
"Yes, Dean, we were together for a while if that is what you are asking," you say. Dean and Sam both look at you a little shocked as Charlie snuggles in to your side. "Yes, I'm bisexual. It's just not something that I talk about a lot. Charlie was the last relationship I was in before Jeff started...well you know."
"So, now you know about Y/N and I. I want to know about you three. How did you guys meet? When did Y/N join the team?" Charlie asks.
"Please don't make me talk about what happened that night." You look between the boys pleading with them to talk instead of you.
"Well we had a hunt that took us to that bar that Y/N worked in. The douche, Jeff, was a demon and had been killing off the staff of the bar. Had we not been there Y/N would have been the next to disappear, or worse," Sam says. "We brought her back to the bunker because that town was no longer safe for Y/N. We started teaching her about the supernatural and training her to fight them. You know how it goes. Kind of like what happened with you, Charlie."
"And, did I notice something between the two of you this morning?" Charlie asked looking between you and Dean. Dean looked at you waiting for you to respond. You turned toward Charlie so that you could see her fully.
"Yes Charlie, you did see something between Dean and I this morning. There is also something between Sam and I. We are kind of....sort of...in a relationship. All three of us," you say shyly.
"There is nothing between Dean and I though!" Sam interjects, "we just share Y/N if you know what I mean."
Charlie laughs at Sam, "I understand what you mean Sam. And don't worry. I didn't think there was anything between you and Dean. I don't see you swinging that way Sam."
"Hey!" Dean exclaims.
"Well, I don't know about you Dean. There is just something about you that I'm never quite sure about," Charlie laughs as Dean rolls his eyes at her. You stand and walk over to Dean giving him a kiss reassuring him.
"Okay, now that we have determined that I have slept with every person in this room can we get some sleep? I'm exhausted and slightly drunk," you say slumping against Dean.
"Do you guys mind if I stay here tonight? I think I'm a little too tipsy to drive back to my apartment," Charlie says.
"Of course you can Charlie!" Sam says enthusiastically.
You toss a shirt to Charlie so she can change out of what she has been wearing all day and she goes to the bathroom to change. "I will take the couch. The three of you can have the bed tonight," Dean says.
"You sure?" Charlie asks as she walks out of the bathroom in your shirt. "I can take the couch and you guys can have the bed. It is really okay."
"Y/N you take the middle of the bed. That way it isn't awkward for Charlie or Sam," Dean says giving you a wink. It earns him an eye roll from you. "Hey, I'm considerate like that," he laughs as you crawl into the bed. Sam climbs in behind you and Charlie in front of you. They both snuggle in to you as you wrap an arm around Charlie waist.
"Goodnight," you whisper as you fall to sleep.
The next morning you wake up to find it is only you and Charlie left on the bed. As you stretch out you realize Dean is also gone. You take a moment to kiss Charlie's shoulder and wake her up. "It looks like Sam went for his normal morning run, and knowing Dean he went out to get breakfast and to give us privacy," you say.
"Sounds about right. I'm surprised he didn't freak out when he found out that we were in a relationship," Charlie says sitting up behind you on the bed and hugging you from behind.
"Freaked out? Ha! More like turned on," you say shaking your head. "I'm gonna get dressed."
Charlie watches you you from the bed as you get dressed. "I've missed you, Y/N. I should have brought you with me when I left that dump."
"Charlie, I loved you, but I wouldn't have left. That's all I knew. That little town is what I called home. Well, I called it home until the night that Jeff tried to rape me and the boys killed his demon ass that is. They had gone to my apartment to get me a few things and it was trashed. Other demons had come and set up a trap that was triggered when the boys walked in. You know how much of home that apartment was to me Charlie." You sat on the bed next to her tears forming in your eyes. You laid your head on her shoulder as she wrapped an arm around you comforting you.
"Well I'm glad the Winchesters were there for you. Honestly, I couldn't be happier that the three of you are together. I think this is great for all of you. I loved you too Y/N, but you will be happier with them than you ever could be with me."
"How do you know that Charlie? Can you see the future or something?" you ask.
"No, I just know. Shhhhh baby. Jeff can never touch you again and those boys will protect you." Charlie was always good at comforting you.
"I know they will, but Charlie, who will protect them? I don't think I could survive if I lost them." Tears start pouring from your eyes at this point. Dean walks into the room and notices you crying and gives a questioning look to Charlie.
"Shhhhh baby. The Winchesters don't need someone to protect them, they are special. You won't lose them I promise." She kisses your head as Dean drops to his knees in front of you and Charlie. He hugs you around your middle comforting you as well.
"Sweetheart, Sam and I will never leave you. We love you, we couldn't do that to you," Dean says.
"I know," you respond trying to compose yourself. "I don't know why I'm so emotional today. I'm sorry." You stand wiping the tears from your eyes and walk to the sink to splash some water on your face. "What did you bring back for breakfast Dean? I'm starving!"
Dean smiles at you tossing the bag your direction. An hour later you were all packed and getting ready to head back to the bunker. Sam was giving Charlie a hug as you and Dean leaned against the impala.
"You loved her, didn't you?" Dean asks.
"Yea, I did. It was really hard when she left, but I just couldn't go with her."
"It didn't end badly though, obviously." You hit Dean in the shoulder.
"Of course not. She was and continues to be one of my best friends, we just haven't talked since she left," you say as Charlie and Sam walk your way. Dean hugs Charlie and kisses the top of her head like a brother would.
"Y/N," Charlie says smiling at you.
"Charlie, it was really good to see you again. Let's actually keep in touch this time, yea?" You say as you hug her tight.
"Of course. I took the liberty of putting my number in your phone last night when you weren't looking," Charlie giggles.
You can't help but laugh with her. "Of course you would. I love you girl."
"I know," Charlie responds. She walks over to her car and opens the door. "Now you guys drive careful and let me know when you get back to the bunker."
Charlie winks at you. She has taken on the motherly worried role that you alway do. "Don't be strangers now, okay?" With that she got in her car and drove away.
You and the Winchesters lean against baby watching as Charlie drives away. "Well, I suppose we should hit the road," Dean exclaims putting an arm around you as he walks you to the other side of the car and opens the door for you. Everyone climbs in and Dean makes eye contact with you through one of the mirrors, "I'm sure we will be seeing more of Charlie in the bunker from now on."
You can't help but blush and break eye contact with him. Sam turns to you and smiles before Dean pulls out of the parking lot heading home to the bunker.
