Buggy & The Roger Pirates Thing (maybe even a little Corabug!?)

Buggy always feeing like he doesn’t belong on Rogers crew. Like he was just brought on to be a playmate for Shanks (practically a pet). He’s not entirely wrong either most of the crew shows unintentional favoritism to Shanks and don’t really remember that Buggy’s there half the time.

The next island they visit they actually forget Buggy. Buggy himself doesn’t even realize until hours later, Roger Pirates far away and still unaware of their mistake. Buggy’s devastated, he kinda wanders around the islands small town and into its forest in shock and despair before coming upon a familiar face. A blond marine who he’d met in the town earlier who was now running through the woods. They had a good conversation earlier and all Buggy had really learned was the boys name. Rosinante.

Rosinante takes Buggy back to Sengoku who goes “WAIT A MINUTE” and then declares that Buggy’s been taken in for ransom. Buggy tells them that nobody is going to come for him.

They wait a couple days, then a week, then a couple weeks, finally two whole months go by and nobody’s showed up for Buggy. Sengoku is disturbed by this and does some digging. Apparently a vote to retrieve Buggy was placed and the majority thought it was too much work for the second cabin boy (the add on, the spare, the unpromising backup). There was also info that Roger and the losing side were upset with the polling results but weren’t going to do much about it.

Sengoku decides right there and then he’s gonna see why Roger let Buggy onto his crew in the first place and why they don’t want Buggy back.

And…..

Sengoku has no clue why they wouldn’t want Buggy to return to them. He’s crafty, smart, loyal. He’s a good kid by pirate standards. Clearly a trouble maker but the passion he has for chemistry and science is unmatched. The way he solves puzzles and can worm his way out of any situation socially is insane. His treatment of people around him and of Cora himself (even if it’s special treatment����) is admirable. Not to mention the boys luck.

Sengoku suspect it’s cause of Buggy’s less upfront way of fighting and actually assessing situations is what put The Rogers off. Buggy may be cowardly but if he really is needed he’ll do his part. Plus his long range weapons (bombs, altered guns) are nothing to sneeze at.

Buggy ends up staying with the marines for a really long time even if in the beginning he said he was going to escape and get far far away from them. Instead staying, training and getting stronger.

Decades later Red Haired Shanks comes face to face with a marine with long blue hair and the nickname Ringmaster.

For me Roger here failed as the captain bc who tf cares what the crew thinks. He is the captain and he should have been defending Buggy but he didn’t. In here Ace was right Roger was a monster bc left a child who looked up to him like no one else ever did in a town from nowhere behind. I wonder how shanks reacted.

I kinda wished that- I don’t know if you watched the LA but there Garp is on the Plattform where Roger gets killed. I wish that buggy would arrive the Plattform when Roger finished his speech him thinking he will die with no regrets and with starting the new era but the moment he saw buggy his smile vanished and he knew he could no longer die at peace.

I have two things in mind of what buggy could say

He would smile at roger with a trembling body saying something like: “I hoped you lived a good live “captain”

or

2. He would be cold and saying shit like: “That’s it Gol D. Roger. You and your loved one will pay for your crimes” and he would mean it bc with people who believe in him he would get stronger and have more determination

I’m kinda surprised that Sengoku would take with if we think about what he did to Ace considering that wanted to execute him for being roger son not being the second commander of Whitebeard who was equal to roger. But I do not complain. If I think about it Buggy could be trained by Sengoku and Garp and Tsuru. Sengoku and Garp were also equal to roger. And while Sengoku could teach him to be smarter fight smarter, Garp could train him in strength combat and haki. Tsuru could help him to calm himself down and always keep his cool. So he could be powerful yonko level bc that what actually oda said. If Buggy would take effort he would be yonko level.

You know what a sad part of this is Buggy is the kind of character who gets treated bad by the “good” ones (in here the goal of the main character) but he would not get justice. He would die and maybe the others would regret it but probably not the same episode one person would say “he would want that you hate yourself…” like BITCH OFC HE WOULDNT BUT YOU SHOULD BC YOU DESERVE THAT.

anyways I’m getting of the topic I think Buggy is smart and a sweetheart if you treat him well. He maybe loves treasure in an unhealthy amount and can be a little arrogant but it’s like he is be mean but still would do everything for you if you treat him right. (I also believe that he would not have a pride problem to apologize if he did something wrong but that another thing).

again with the Plattform (I hope it’s Plattform English is not my native’s language) the thing is Shanks would see it. And I think no matter if choice one or two you choose he would be angry…even though he has no right too. But Buggy doesn’t care about shanks…well not anymore bc he has Rosi. While he hadn’t a bad relationship with Shanks his relationship with Rosi is much better. Shanks if not meant to be mean only teased him which lead to the whole crew teasing him and Buggy didn’t like that. I mean I don’t think he had a problem with some teasing bc that normal and fun you know? Everyone does that but they teased him about everything and it kinda hurt bc it gave off the feeling he wasn’t taking seriously at all. That he couldn’t be allowed to be sad or scared…genuinely.

With Rosi it wasn’t like that he got comforted motivated. Instea if being told that “a pirate isn’t allowed to be scared” or “are you hiding again” or “you wouldn’t be scared if you trained harder like shanks” he gets “it’s fine I protect you” or “don’t be scared buggy! Your strong and if anything happens I’m right here” and it helps bc it motivates him and them saying that they believe he is strong wants him to prove that and he doesn’t and he makes mistakes and learns from them and gets better bc that how it should be done

So if Buggy and Shanks would meet after decades Shanks would be furious at Buggy for doing this to their captain. But with just a few sentences Shanks anger turned into guilt

“Roger didn’t want me. He left me and abandoned me. No one wanted me”

So I think Shanks would withdraw and just go with it. But now he would feel emptier. It was one thing not having seen buggy and him officially cutting of the relationship was hard for Shanks but he shouldn’t complain he didn’t say anything when they voted to leave him even if he didn’t want that he could do more. Bc they would listen to him.

Buggy himself would live a good life being a very much known marine (vice admiral) having Rosi by his side (this is a Corazon lives AU) and be happy.

I even think that Luffy would be on Buggy’s side if he heard that story. But still would not stop being a pirate

The cigarette rested between her teeth again. She needed a support system. A feeble attempt. “I think we should call it off until tomorrow morning.”

Bell-mère leaned in. “I’ve got drills tomorrow morning. Unless you’re telling me it’s okay to skip them…?”

One piece - Donquixote Rosinante/Corazon

This one was a tough one to choose, there's a lot of close runner ups (Kaku, Coby, Katakuri, etc). But this man, ooooohhhhh this man. He stole my heart. Just all around good characters and I wish there was more of him. Though him appearing for only a little is probably what makes him so good.

Golden kamuy - Vasily and Ogata Hyakunosuke

Vasily for his cuteness in the manga, also big buff man. And I just like his overall motivation for the things he dose. And Ogata for his overall sexiness and air of danger. Hands down one of my favorite characters designs in anime. Just everything about him in his story is great. How he can go from comic relief to the sad back story in seconds. Also Ph1lza use him as his minecraft skin so extra points there. (runner up is no one because no one stands out right now)

Demon slayer - Genya Shinazugawa, Doma, Gyutaro

FIRST! Genya is like best boi fight me, he made me cry for so many reasons. SECOND! Don't judge me for Doma, his ending won me over. All around good shit. THIRDLY! Gyutaro should probably be the only one because I'm pretty sure he beats out the other two, I just wanted to mention them because I also really love them. Anyways Gyutaro character design I like the best and his story made me ball. (No runner up because you've already gotten 3 characters)

One punch man - Zombieman

I LOVE THIS MAN, GOD I HAVE A PROBLEM! Anyways character design feeds into the Gothic monster hunter vide and I live for it. I like all of the sense in the manga where he takes a spot light. His weapons and power are kinda op because I'm pretty sure he could beat Saitama in a fight. (Runner up is Flashy flash and Child Emperor)

Haikyuu - Daichi Sawamura and Kei Tsukishima

Daichi because he could crush me between his arms and I would be fine with it. Also he's just an overall good character with a solid motivation to play volleyball. Kei for his sassy personal that he tries to keep up all of the time and when he fails it's literally the cutest. And for his stubborn personality mix with an understanding that he probably needs to change sooner or later. (runner up is Tendō)

Nanbaka - Samon Gokuu

His character design brings me joy for his obvious monkey and Chinese takes. I like his personal and his story as a whole. Just a good character that has a few good jokes and is hot. His hair is nice to, backed up with his makeup/tattoos. (Runner up are Musashi, Liang, and Qi)

Danganronpa - Nagito Komaeda

Honestly probably could be someone else seeing I've only watch up to the second game. Anyways arguably the best evil laugh in the whole series. He's easy to make a yandere for his outlandish and obsessive personality. Just a all around good character (Monokuma and Kazuichi Soda/I liked Leon Kuwata for a little until he got insta murdered)

Creepypasta - Bloody painter/Helen Otis

I’m a simple person, I see artiest that turns to murder and I like. Plus I like how many things you can do with this character. Some people make him shy baby boy who’s scared of his own shadow, some people make him the unstable quiet character that murders people brutally with a drop of a hat, some people make him an unassuming brute that can snap someone's neck. I personally like he second one, just fun overall (Runner up is probably Hoodie or Homicidal Liu)

Hunter x hunter - Shalnark

I always have likes the characters that are secretly really fucked up. He’s a sociopath and puts on a smile to hide it. I also just like how he’s blond. That’s about it, just a simply character that’s good. (Runner up are Chrollo Lucilfer and Illumi Zoldyck)

Overwatch - Jesse McCree

Hahaha funny cowboy man. (Runner ups are Hanzo, Genji, Winston)

My hero academia - Mr. Compress/Atsuhiro Sako

This one was hard to choose. Theirs a lot of characters that are good. But I like his face and his whole aesthetic. Just a dapper man having some fun. Well more about starting a political revolution than fun but you get what I mean. He also has a top hat so more points.

1. “Alright, mister. I know you’re the one who keeps hanging up mistletoe everywhere.” 

Little Walter Sullivan paused, turning to look over his shoulder at Mommi Monica before a smile split his cherubic features. He’d been caught red-handed, the berry twig still in his fingers. Monica put her hands on her hips, pretending to give him a scolding look--one that had him giggling.

“Now what’s with all this mistletoe? Could it be...” Monica moved closer to the little boy perched on top of the couch, sweeping him up in her arms to pepper his face with kisses. “...that you want lots of kisses from Mommi?”

Little Walter’s squeals of excitement filled the room as he clung around Monica’s neck, leaning into each kiss to soak up like rays of sunlight.

“Mer’y Chrismas Mommi!” Little Walter’s speech wasn’t perfect, but his message was--full of love and adoration for his Mommi Dearest, who rewarded him with another kiss.

“Merry Christmas, Little Walter.”

2. “Excuse me—where is my Christmas kiss?”

Monica tried and failed to suppress her giggle at the faux impatient tone. The asker, Rosinante--known much more affectionately to her as Cora, was standing in the doorway, hands on his hips, bent down to clear the mistletoe poised at the top of the frame. His long, heart-adorned hat tassels hung like temptations below his painted, smiling face and Monica moved away from the Christmas cookie-covered counter, laughing.

“You see, I was told it’s tradition to kiss under the mistletoe,” Cora encouraged, bending even further to ensure his towering height wasn’t a problem for the apple of his eye. “But my lips have yet to be kissed.”

“Did you ask Law?” Monica teased, which earned her a laugh.

“Law comes later, you’re always first.” Cora pursed his painted lips as if to demonstrate and drive his point home.

Monica stood up on her tip-toes to deliver Cora’s Christmas kiss, which ended in a squeal as he scooped her up, straightening to his towering height with her in his arms--still giving her kiss after kiss, unable to stop himself.

“WHO THE FUCK STOLE THE KISSING PLANT THING OUT OF MY DOORWAY?!”

Doflamingo’s shouts from the hallway were promptly ignored by Cora and his heart, mostly because he went the opposite direction of them immediately.

3. “I made you some hot cocoa.” 

Augustus Cole grinned, leaning down to press a kiss to Monica’s mouth. His dark skin was cold to the touch, causing Monica to laugh softly as he pressed closer as if seeking her warmth.

“Thanks babygirl, it’s cold as fuck outside.”

Monica reached up, cupping Cole’s face in her hands, giving his cheeks a few affectionate rubs to bring some heat back into them.

“Poor thing! Let me get you all warmed up again.”

Cole grinned, holding the mug of cocoa in one large hand as if it were the Holy Grail itself--and since Monica made it for him, it might as well have been.

Damon Baird rolled his eyes from his spot behind Monica, thoroughly sick of Cole mooching affection off Monica by complaining about a situation he put himself in. “If it’s so cold, why do you always insist on goin’ out and building those dumbass snowmen?”

Cole was spared from answering about his yearly tradition when a pounding on the window caught the attention of the trio. Dot was standing on the other side still bundled up in the snow--and she fogged up the glass with her breath before writing, very clearly and with much conviction--

SHUT UP MEG.

4. “You look even more beautiful in the snow.” 

“I mean,” Peter Parker stammered, cutting himself off with a laugh. “I didn’t think it was possible for you, you’re so beautiful anyway but...”

He paused, turning to face Monica again. The lights from the bridge below caught at the snowflakes in her gorgeous wealth of hair, and though she couldn’t blush, the cold kissed rose on her skin anyway, lending her a glowing, ethereal hue to her already porcelain skin. She really did take his breath away, but under the moon on Christmas Eve, standing with him atop a bridge, thwipped up here just to show her something not everyone could...Peter might be willing to make the argument she’d never looked more beautiful.

“S-Shut up, Peter,” Monica laughed herself, shaking her head and moved to turn away--but Peter wouldn’t let her. He easily caught her face in his hands, pulling her gently up onto her toes so he could press a kiss to her sweet, beckoning mouth.

“Merry Christmas, Mrs. Parker,” he breathed, his own heart racing at the words spoken from his lips to hers. “I love you.”

5. “You didn’t have to get me anything.” 

Monica paused, for a moment or two stunned speechless by the response.

Milano Dastarden didn’t often break expression, but there was amusement dancing in the darkness of his fathomless eyes. “You’re surprised because typically, that line is coming from you. Not being said to you.”

“...I shouldn’t be surprised you’re pinning me to the wall like Dottie does.” Monica narrowed her eyes playfully at the old vampire, who perked a brow at her in return.

“Were I to pin you to the wall, littlest one, it would not be with words.”

Ever grateful she couldn’t blush, Monica cleared her throat and thrust the wrapped gift toward Milano.

“P-Please,” she shook her head and gave the present an enticing wiggle. “Merry Christmas.”

Milano didn’t rise nor did he move from his high-backed chair. Instead, his dark eyes flicked to his lap.

“Bring it to me.”

The tone, typically imperious and demanding, was not with her. It was imploring, beckoning, and though Monica’s legs were nervous she did as he bade. Taking the seat upon his offered lap, once again she found herself dwarfed by the shadow of the Vampire. Her kin in every way.

Milano wrapped long fingers around the present, his other arm sweeping around the prize in his lap to hold her close.

“Regardless of what I find inside this wrapping paper,” Milano’s voice was deep, ever-thoughtful. “It is your heart that I will covet as a gift above all else. Never forget that, little sister.”

Monica didn’t think she ever would.

6. “Go on, open it.” 

“Geez, Tony, don’t pop out of your can.” Carol Danvers teased, leaning against Tony’s bar, the billionaire shooting her a look.

“What? I’m excited, she’s going to love it.”

Carol rolled her eyes, a good-natured grin on her face, but she nodded her blonde head toward the box in front of Monica’s stool. “What do you think’s in there, angelface, one of Tony’s old helmets? His ego keeps growing so his head’s too big to fit in it anymore.”

Tony Stark pursed his lips, his trademark goatee adding a little extra sass to the expression. “You know, Carebear, you don’t have to be in here for this.”

“Oh I definitely do because what I got her will definitely be better than what you did.” Carol took a swig of her beer. “So I’ll shut up and let her open it now.”

Tony slowly dragged his eyes from his long-time friend to soften as they fell upon the love of his life, little Monica, seated so prettily upon his bar stool, her two-foot tall wrapped box a little to the side in front of her. “Go ahead, babygirl. Merry Christmas.”

“T-Thank you Daddy!” Monica reached for the lid, excitement making her tummy flip but she’d barely began to lift the lid when it popped open and one of the Iron Man robots she’d cooed over was peeking out at her, his emoticon screen reading :D before she could even fully register what she was seeing. Once she did, she felt that familiar pinch in her chest, cute aggression running rampant as the round-bodied little robot clamored it’s way out of his box to run up to her and hug her, calling her “Mama!” immediately.

Monica felt her eyes fill with tears as she squeezed the red and gold toddler-sized bot with all her might, and Tony turned a smug expression to Carol.

“Top that, Spaceface.”

Carol didn’t seem fazed, taking another drink from her beer as she pushed off the bar to go get her present for their little girl. “If you insist. I was gonna let you bask in this for a bit longer, but have it your way.”

“...It’s Christmas, Carol.”

“Merry Christmas, Tony!”

7. “Would you like to put the star on the very top of the tree?” 

Jedidiah “Bubba” Sawyer tilted his head, brown curls like a halo around his head as he regarded the beautiful, gilded star in Momma Monica’s little hands. His own fingers, long and thick, twisted in his sugar and flour splattered apron (as he just finished putting another batch of Christmas cookies in the oven!) because he didn’t think he should touch something so pretty! That was...the same way he felt about Momma, too.

Thomas “Tommy” Hewitt was nearby, putting sparkly baubles on the tree, and he grunted an encouragement to Bubba to take the star--or he was going to, because he liked Momma’s attention just as much as Bubba did.

Bubba babbled something incoherent to Monica but Tommy knew what it meant--

‘I’m goin’, I’m goin’! Don’t rush me, this is important!’

Shaking fingers, usually so sure of themselves with bloodier, gorier tasks, reached for the star and Monica handed it to Bubba with a smile--one that turned his heart to goo in his chest, making his broad shoulders turn in as he tried not to shy away. Her smile was brighter than the star in his hands!

Bubba turned toward the tree, more than tall enough to reach it...but he paused, looking down at the star then turning back to his Momma.

“What’s...What’s wrong?” Monica felt herself panicking a little, worried she wouldn’t be able to understand Bubba if something was wrong.

But to her surprise, Bubba bent down, scooping her up to sit on his broad shoulder. Once she was settled, he handed her the star and pointed toward the tree, babbling like a toddler would--only with a voice that sounded as though it were coming from a furnace, deep and rumbling and warm.

Monica understood all the same, gingerly placing the star on the top of the tree with Bubba’s heightened help.

“How’s that?” Monica asked, and even behind Bubba’s mask, she could see flashes of teeth and scarred bone--he was smiling.

8. “Did you spike the eggnog again?” 

Cavon Dreadful didn’t even pause, his whisky bottle up-ended over the bowl of eggnog, his grin all wolf teeth.

“Had to, babydoll, Pops threw out my last batch.”

“He’s going to throw you out if you ruin another batch of eggnog.” Monica made no move to try and stop Cavon, though--she never did.

“I ain’t ruin that one, aight, those were his words and besides, there’s other bowls of this stuff around,” Cavon finished his “special batch” by finishing the bottle, reaching out to snag his lifemate around her petite waist and dragging her into his side--firmly making her an accomplice to his “crimes”. “We’ll just say this batch is for Ewan an’ me, no one else has to drink it.”

“Is that the best excuse you have?” Monica couldn’t help but laugh. “You’re not used to having to explain yourself, yet, are you?”

“No the fuck I’m not,” Cavon admitted effortlessly, leaning down to rub noses with her. “But that’s why I got you, babydoll, you distract Pops for me just fine.”

“You’re literally throwing me to the wolves.”

“Naaaah,” Cavon scooped her up, carrying her to go find his Father to do said distraction. “That’s what Dot did when she introduced ya to us. I’m just feeding ya to a Lion.”

“...How is that any better?”

Cavon paused, before thoughtfully replying, “You like when he eats ya? I hear ya screamin’ all the way out in Ewan’s shed--”

“I’m telling Poppy what you did.”

“...But it’s Christmas, baby.”

9. “Ho ho ho, you idiot.”

“Nope, no, you’re still being mean.”

Namor McKenzie sighed from his position, wearing a Santa hat, looking entirely unamused and somewhat annoyed, while Arthur Curry, wearing over-sized elf ears, was trying to get the Sub-Mariner to be ‘jolly’. It was not going well.

“I don’t see why we’re doing this--”

“Because Monica will like it if we get a picture dressed up like this!” Arthur exclaimed as if that were the answer to all of life’s questions--ask anyone in the Haus and it really was.

“Then why am I Santa and you’re the elf?” Namor flicked the fluffy bauble tip of the hat out of his face, his long dark hair framing heavily displeased features. “Monica does not even like Santa.”

“...Well that’s true.”

“And she likes elves,” Namor gave Arthur a pointed look. “So I ask again, why are you the elf and I am the fat man she does not even like?”

Arthur could answer that question but Namor was known for throwing fits and Arthur really wanted this Christmas picture present to go over well.

“What if you’re the one to get her to like Santa?” Arthur asked, heavily muscled arms out enticingly. “Think about it, what if you’re the exception to her dislike of Santa, rule?”

Namor paused, looking thoughtful. “...That would put me ahead of everyone else...”

“Yes it would.” Arthur scooped up his smart phone, bringing it over. “So, picture!”

Later, Monica would receive a framed picture of Namor as Santa and Arthur as his Christmas Elf--and it would be the first picture on record of Namor actually smiling and looking jolly, all for the Christmas Angel in their lives.

10. Make a wish.

For the Haus, it was simple. A Christmas wish may not be tradition for other Families but this was no ordinary Family; this was a Family that had survived it’s fair share of struggles and hardships, it’s fair share of bad weather and worse storms but come through to the sunshine and rainbows on the other side. This was a Family who supported one another, who loved and lost together, who faced each new day one foot in front of the other, together.

All of this was done to make a safe, happy, loving home for the woman they loved more than anything else. Monica would never have to wonder what next Christmas would bring because the Family had proven, time and time again, it would always be here. Through thick and thin, sickness and health, life and death, forever meant forever when said in the halls of the Haus.

For her, every, “I love you,” “I’m here for you,” “I need you,” every word said was meant.

And so when the clock struck midnight and Christmas officially came, the Haus wish was a unanimous one, and the same wish uttered in the halls every single year.

“May this year be the same as the last.”

Because Christmas isn’t Christmas without Monica at it’s heart.

honestly the first thing you gotta know is doffy is corazon’s personal tickle monster. since they were kids he knew every single tickle spot cora ever had. what’s the point in being the big brother if you can sit on your 26 year old 9’ 7" little brother and tickle the snot out of him just for kicks.

there’s no way doffy didn’t try to tickle him when they got older like i’m biased obviously but doffy is like wtf you can’t speak anymore? and he’d think like well, let’s tickle him and see that’s gotta get him to talk. he doesn’t blow his cover though, cause he spends all day not talking and his voice is weak and raspy when he does cause you gotta use your voice to keep it y'know. so being forced to laugh comes out as more of a squeaky toy noise. so air comes out of his lungs just not in a giggle, just a squeal.

and cora was really really really ticklish as a kid and he got poked practically every day by either his mom, dad, or doffy. at 26, the last time he’d been tickled was a long time back. so his belly is nice, untouched, and just as tender. it’s not like he’s really that embarrassed over it, but just a little. he knew for sure he’d never get over being so ticklish though. he just prayed doffy would never try. and cora knew (HE THOUGHT OKAY) doffy would never hurt him, just tickling wasn’t hurting, so he feared doffy getting his fingers all over him.

so doffy would sneak up on the poor guy and like close the door behind him. CORAZON IS SWEATING. like hello baby brother and lightly puts a hand on his shoulder super close to an old tickle spot on his neck and cora is like ohhhhh no ohhh fuck oh no. doffy is all /over exaggerated sigh/ remember, back then… when we used to be respected as the gods we are, and i would… i dunno… tickle you all the time…? and it’s SO THREATENING and the word tickle was punctuated with a squeeze to his soft flanks. and HE MAKES this strangled wheeze noise cause he lost his voice from not using it. and doffy has the most evil smile on his face like ah you do remember.

corazon is fucking scrambling like THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING. but honestly he’s surprised doffy DIDN’T try and tickle him all this time. but now it’s happening and seriously, cora is glad okay, deep in his heart he believes doffy can be a good person and this is one of those times. and also, he fucking loves being babied, this is something he’s a little embarrassed to admit but he has a soft spot for all things goofy and silly and he loves being tickled okay. he loves it, it makes him laugh, it makes him smile, he looooves it.

but doffy isn’t wasting any time in dragging corazon down to the floor. also a little secret, doffy is enjoying this. it’s a genuine moment they’re having. also also, his favorite thing ever was tickling the snot out of cora anyways. and oh god is cora struggling, doffy isn’t even using his devil fruit powers and he’s being destroyed anyways. doffy has an easy time holding cora down, while he pokes and prods around cora’s midsection with those devilish fingers of his.

corazon’s laugh is coming out as a MESS it’s like doffy is constantly crushing a squeaky toy beneath his foot. and he’s obviously not teasing cora’s belly just yet and cora knows it cause doffy is saving the killer for last. so for now, he’s doing rapid fire poking which is making cora absolutely convulse with squeals. he’s constantly jerking around and trying to sit up but he can’t. he honestly didn’t think he’d be MORE ticklish after these years but surprise surprise.

doffy actually isn’t teasing too much but then he decides to finally give his tum some attention. he doesn’t even poke him yet he just kinda goes “hey corazon, is your stomach still ticklish? i wonder” and he still doesn’t try and tickle him just yet cause he purposely gives cora time to try and escape. i mean, he keeps denying all chances to get away but he just lets cora desperately try for a little. for his amusement. and lowkey for cora too cause he knows damn well cora loved to try and run and make the chase intense and silly.

and doffy says yes, definitely still ticklish based on how you’re scuttling like a cornered animal, what a jerk oh my god. cora is already choking. and honestly considering blowing his cover to scream mercy. but his voice would be too hoarse anyways.

finally doffy gives cora’s belly a lot of soft pinches, more like just squishing it instead of anything sharp or painful. and that’s it, now cora stopped scrambling on the ground and is kinda just a lump with one arm thrown over his face and the other hand slowly and pathetically trying to grab at his big bro’s evil tickle fingers.

and for the first time in a while he’s starting to feel like a kid again. it’s kinda embarrassing, considering his cheeks are red cause of silent giggles at this point and he’s smiling ear to ear. by god like, he was confident in his own strength like he’d become a marine and he was legit. but.. he forgot about the dreadful tickles.

doffy on the other hand, doesn’t really tease anymore, so no nostalgia in that sense. i mean, he couldn’t help but make sure to mention cora’s tummy, though. other than that, nothing intense. and honestly, doffy won’t do raspberries anymore, too cutesy and mortifying for himself to indulge in. can’t ruin that rep, but tickling the hell outta little rosinante won’t hurt. but it’s obvious he’s nonverbally teasing cause he’ll pinch where cora’s softest and play with that for a while. just cause he knows it’ll embarrass him.

he’ll stop when cora stops flailing real bad cause that’s usually when he’s tired himself out. and doffy kinda feels the embarrassment for himself set in after like he only wanted to try and tickle him to see if he’d speak again but? he got so out of hand and the tickles lasted forever and he’s kinda like okay shit i’m going soft. so he’s so awkward all of a sudden like gets up, coughs, dusts himself off. and corazon DOESN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO EITHER HE’S JUST KINDA staring at his brother, then looking at the floor, then maybe the clock.

doffy goes “.......uh... d-dinner’s gonna be early tonight so uh.... yeah wash up before then.. //coughs” and cora just nods slowly and doffy flat out leaves and probably runs off to his own room to think for the next 35 min.
