[A special two-in-one throwback drabble today! These were two independent drabbles that I eventually decided to put together into a single story.]
Tumblr media
The mirror couldn’t tell a lie – but what had just transpired was so incomprehensible, so surreal, that you found yourself doubting what it was showing you. You ran two fingers down your cheek. The imprint of her red lipstick smeared beneath your touch, discoloring your nails.
“I don’t say this a lot, but… I was wrong about you.”
You had left the boardwalk over an hour ago, but your mind hadn’t moved an inch. Neither had your racing heart. Like a song on repeat, the sentences she spoke replayed again and again and again in your thoughts. Your inner monologue wasn’t your own voice anymore. There just wasn’t room up there for anyone but her.
“Today was fun, and I’m… I’m actually glad I spent it with you.”
The sun-drenched landscape began to fade into a blur, as all memories do. The cheerful music that had been playing had become an indistinct drone. The faces from the surrounding crowds disappeared. But nothing – nothing – was as unforgettable as Asuka had been in that moment. Her small hands behind her back, her steely blue-eyed gaze still waging war against her heart’s desires, and her breasts, so gargantuan that it’s like her dress was home to a couple of beach balls. Men and women alike tripped over themselves to get even a serving of Asuka’s ire. To them, any attention was good attention.
“I don’t even like dressing up, but I still did it today for some reason, you know? I feel like I learned a lot about myself because of you, and… and…”
Asuka’s face matched the color of her Eva unit. It had been years since had been a pilot. Now, she was treading water in the wake of lost time, recovering what few precious moments she could from what NERV had stolen away.
Her hands came around to clasp together in front of her. Upper arms squeezed her breasts together, forcing a few more inches of cleavage to pop out from the collar of her dress. Asuka’s boobs molded so satisfyingly against the insides of her elbows that it was as if they were puzzle pieces meant to conjoin.
“Dammit! It’s so frustrating to feel like this,” she said, stomping her foot. Her titanic rack shook up and down as if someone just bounced off of them like a trampoline. “I don’t know how anyone can stand it! I want to… I want to do the stupidest things!”
There are some languages that have disappeared from Earth, spoken and understood by no one. To feel Asuka fall into your arms, to feel her buoyant chest squish against your own, to feel her lips gently press into your cheek – it’s like you had just unearthed the words of a love language that had never been heard. It’s like she admitted to you that she could speak it at all. You couldn’t wait to spend more time learning it together with her.
“When you get home, go wash that off,” she said, her blush so deep that it felt warm against your collarbone. Even the way she indignantly pointed at your face was adorable. “You… y-you look stupid.”
You smiled. Her lipstick may wash off, but the moment would last a lifetime.
--------------------------
You were never a night owl. Maybe you had ventured into that territory amidst a few panicked all-nighters – some of your tougher classes did practically necessitate it – but you generally woke with the sun and slept in moonlight. Tonight, however, was an exception. The moon hung high outside your bedroom window as if it was waiting for you to go to sleep. What’s going on with you?, it seemed to ask. What could possibly be keeping you up if it’s not your studies? If it had a watch on, it would be tapping it impatiently. What it didn’t know is that you had company.
I usually only text Hikari when it’s this late, you know. You should appreciate your good fortune.
You turned over beneath your blanket. On such a clear night, the moon was introducing a rather bothersome glare on your screen. You blocked it out by curling your body until it obstructed the light from the window. Now, truly, everything beyond the colorful user interface was bathed in pitch black darkness. You couldn’t see the parking passes on your desk. You couldn’t see any of your textbooks (thankfully). The light from your phone was dull enough to only illuminate the gap between you and the screen. Though a dozen miles separated you from Asuka, it was as intimate a setting as you could possibly hope for.
I DO appreciate my fortune, you texted back with a wry grin, and in fact, I haven't even washed my face yet.
Not even five seconds transpired before her venomous response arrived.
IDIOT! You can’t even follow simple directions!!
You couldn’t help but chuckle. But before you could come to your own defense, Asuka sent a follow-up.
Misato said that I have to move out since they don’t need me to pilot Eva anymore, and I’m attending university anyway… but that hag also had the nerve to suggest I was getting “too big” for my room! Why is she so damn rude?!
Even at Asuka’s prodigious cup size, Misato’s comment was quite the exaggeration – but perhaps she was on to something. Asuka’s shirts were already marred with streaks on either side where they dragged across doorframes; it wouldn’t be far-fetched to think she may soon be getting stuck in them. At least the fire department would be more entertained with that problem than Misato’s usual misadventures in cooking for herself.
I’m already posted up at the apartment next to the university, you typed. You can move in with me if you want.
Some texts require forethought – and some even require more than that: courage. Your trembling thumb dangled over the send button until it finally dropped like a judge’s gavel. You awaited your next sentence in more ways than one. But what you got back, several lengthy moments later, was far more than words.
Are you sure I’d fit?
Asuka’s figure was contained in a small, angled selfie; her arm rose toward the camera, her ocean blue eyes piercing through midnight’s darkness. It was clear from her posture that she was in a nearly identical setting to you. A moonlit bedroom; bedsheets in disorder; her limbs sprawled across the mattress. But her gigantic breasts were positively heaving out of her oversized tank-top, meandering all the way to the edges of her bed and even daring to drape over the sides. The way they gelatinously and carelessly positioned themselves over her slender body reminded you of dough being tossed across wax paper. Notably – and perhaps unbeknownst to her – semicircles of her areolae were rising, visibly, over the collar of her top.
Your heart lodged itself in your throat. Maybe she knew she was exposed. Maybe... maybe she didn’t care if you saw her so vulnerable. The thought was thrilling, tantalizing, overwhelming.
Your fingers frantically typed messages and then backspaced them just as quickly. What could possibly be said in response? Fortunately, you didn’t need to think of something else to say. Asuka took notice of your hesitation and struck once more.
Go ahead and jerk off. I’m sure it will help you sleep.

Francesca
I knew August was looking for information. He was more agitated than usual and it was apparent he had an idea now that someone had infiltrated his organization. He began to call on me at the most inopportune moments, and I couldn’t tell if he was hoping or not to catch me in a lie. I did hear him trying desperately to convince Mateo his misgivings about me were wrong. I needed to put a stop to any hint of Sy sniffing around, if only to help prove Matteo wrong. August asked about the FBI when we had dinner at his home one evening.
“I’m glad you were able to get free tonight for me, Francesca.”
“August, you know I always come when you call. I’ve had to shuffle a few things around at the gym lately, and they’re starting to get annoyed, but I guess I can always find another studio if I have to.” I took a sip of the wine August had chosen to pair with our meal, tipping my tongue out to catch a small drop of red, drawing his eyes to my lips.
“You know I don’t mean to cause any hardship for you. I wouldn't want to take you away from anywhere else you’d rather be.”
“Now, where else would I rather be, baby, besides right here with you when you want me?”
“Heard from that old ex of yours lately?” August asked, keeping an even voice and betraying with a raised eyebrow only a small hint of the jealousy that I could sense was bubbling beneath the surface.
“Is that where you think I’d rather be? August, you wound me.”
“Francesca. Have you seen him again since he first contacted you?” It was clear August suspected, but I didn’t think he really knew anything. Not now that he’d discovered the guard he had on me had been less than observant on probably more than one occasion. I gave him an answer that I could tell shocked him.
“Yes.”
August waited for me to elaborate and I continued almost immediately with barely a hesitation.
“He came by the gym one day. My class was canceled and I was on my way out. He invited me to dinner.” I paused then, and gauged his reaction. I wondered if he could feel me doing so. “I declined, if you care to know.”
“There’s no need to be a brat about it. What night was this?” he asked me.
“It was a day, August. Middle of the day.” When I told him what day it was, he clenched his jaw. “You can call the gym, check the logs. He showed up, worked out, chatted me up, and then I left before him.”
“Alright, but was there a night you didn’t spend at home?”
“Why do you think I spent any night away from the apartment?”
“Maybe you should just answer my questions without any more sass. Or are you looking for something tonight?”
I stared defiantly back at him, because I was. I could see him getting turned on and imagined his dick was probably already hard. It shouldn’t turn him on to have me so disagreeable, but it did. He narrowed his eyes, tilted his head, and waited for my answer. I think it hurt his feelings that I simply carried on with my explanation rather than admitting what I wanted from him.
“The electricity went out in my building one night. I called a friend to see if I could stay over. It was incredibly hot that day and I was never going to be able to sleep without AC. She picked me up and it wasn’t until I got back the next morning that I realized I’d forgotten my phone.”
And then I picked right back up with my insolence.
“But I noticed there were no missed calls or messages from you anyway.” I took another drink, with a devilish smirk on my lips.
“Get up,” he growled at me.
“But I’m not done eating, August.”
“You are. Get up. Now.” August watched as I shoved my chair back and stood. “Now if you want something else to fill that bratty little mouth of yours, why don’t you crawl on over here?”
I saw the pleasure on his face as I sank to my knees before placing my hands on the plush rug beneath the dining table and slowly made my way to him, eyes connected to him the entire time. He turned his seat to face me.
“I am still hungry,” I purred when I reached his lap. “What else did you put on the menu tonight?”
August leaned back in his chair and spread his legs wide as he rested one arm on the table beside him and smoothed the other down his inner thigh.
“Is this one of those meals I have to prepare myself?” I dared to tease and I could see through his pants the way August got even harder as I continued to dish out the attitude.
“It’s practically ready now. You just have to take it out.”
I reached up to unzip his trousers then slipped a hand through the opening of his silk boxer shorts and licked my lips at the sight.
“I have to warn you, I’m particularly ravenous tonight,” I smiled up at him as he drew his hand to my head and pulled me closer.
“It’s a good thing this is all for you then.”
August pulled my head down and closed his eyes as he struggled not to thrust his hips when my mouth wrapped around him. He simply guided me lower and when I opened for him, the look on his face betrayed the way he relished the feel of the back of my throat and the way I gagged while trying to swallow my saliva around his dick. I looked up at him and he opened his eyes to watch the tears of pleasure spill down my face. I never shied away from choking on his dick and I held my own as he began to bob my head in earnest. I kept my mouth wide open when he finally drew me away from his lap just before he grabbed a hold of his own cock to finish himself. He loved watching his seed drip down my face. I knew it made it so much easier for him to get hard again, especially when I swiped my fingers through his spend and wrapped my lips around them to suck them clean.
In the post orgasmic haze after he’d taken me to bed and defiled me a few more ways, he sat up to ask me a question and I noticed he watched my reaction carefully.
“We’re going on another trip, you and I. We’ll return separately this time. I have something I need to bring into the country and I want you to carry it for me. Will you do that for me?”
With some hesitancy, I agreed. I hoped August would take it as a sign that Matteo was nothing but wrong about me. I needed him to feel I was truly and deeply his and that I was only just now beginning to understand that the club wasn’t his only business.
I was late to the rendezvous back in the States, but I did arrive with all the cargo still intact. After apologizing profusely, I stayed quiet and demure, presenting an obvious change from my behavior at previous meetings when he didn’t think I had a clue what business was going down. Now I remained meek and a little wide-eyed as I watched him complete his business transaction, trading a portion of the drugs for a few large duffles of cash.
Later in bed, I broached an earlier subject with what was obviously surprising new information for him.
“August, I have to tell you something,” I said, drawing circles over his chest with my fingertips.
“What is it, love?”
“I’m worried about you.”
“Worried how?”
“Is what we did this time what you do all the time? Is that what taking care of business is for you?”
“Are you having a hard time calling it what it is, Francesca? Did you think I only bought the drugs you and I used together?”
I sat up to face him. “I always wondered, but I didn’t know until now. And it worries me. I don’t want you to get into trouble.”
“What trouble would I get into? Are you worried about your FBI friend?”
“August, he’s not my friend anymore. Please you have to believe me. But it does worry me. You said there was nothing to worry about, that he had nothing on you. But we’ve just moved a shit ton of illegal drugs into the country. That doesn’t feel like nothing to me.”
“Everything is under control, Francesca. There’s nothing to worry about. Besides, I have plans to get out of that business.”
“Sooner or later?”
“What is with all these questions?”
“It’s just…okay, look. Please don’t be mad. I don’t want you to think I’ve been taking advantage of you. This really did just happen.”
August sat up now himself, as if he was suddenly concerned about the direction this conversation was headed.
“What really just happened, Francesca?”
“It’s honestly perfect timing. It means we could leave here now, leave everything behind and never look back. I have a house now, in Europe, that no one knows about. And enough in a trust fund to keep us set for the rest of our lives together.”
“What the fuck are you talking about?” August was becoming agitated. This was new information and I could tell it concerned him that he didn’t know it was a possibility that I wasn’t the down-on-her-luck struggling yoga instructor he thought I was. He must be wondering who had dropped the ball on my background search.
“August, I love you. I don’t want to see you get into trouble. I want us to be together and I don’t think it’s safe here for you any longer. Give the club to someone else and walk away with me.”
Tumblr media
August
August was now convinced Francesca wasn’t a threat to him, and he wanted the same to be true for the rest of his team, but someone was talking out of school and he needed to find out who. August and Mateo conferred in quiet corners and behind closed doors. Assignments were given to test loyalties, background checks run again to see if any conflicting information would appear.
Mateo was still not convinced about Francesca, especially knowing she had connections no one uncovered before and he told August it was for the best that he didn’t loosen her security detail. August continued to put her off, every time she brought up getting out of the business and hoped he could eventually convince her to let that go. A second home in Europe would be most welcome, but he was never gonna give up his life and run away.
A couple weeks later, after even more new information had turned up, August finally had what he needed. He knew who was spying and he knew how he wanted to take care of it. No one would ever expect they’d be taken to Paris to be exposed and taught the ultimate lesson.
He had Francesca packed and ready to go when security arrived to drive them to the airport. It was a quiet flight, even if August did give in let her suck him off in the first class cabin. He really did have such a hard time denying her when she got down on her knees for him. The pout on her face when he wouldn’t let her climb onto his lap might have broken a weaker man.
When they arrived at the hotel, he watched Francesca unpack as he always did. He loved to watch the surprise on her face each time she pulled a new item from the bag and she was always eager to put his choices on display for him. His impeccable taste never failed him; every last article of clothing and accessories complimented her body in a way he imagined she had never felt before. It was as if the act of choosing her attire was the first stage of foreplay August used when he made love to her. If his fingers couldn’t caress her, the fabric and material would, molding to her body and holding her firm.
He spent the afternoon ravishing Francesca in bed, chasing every high he could get as if it might be the last. He tasted every inch of her body, nipping and tonguing along the curves and lines, dipping into the valleys. He held her down, wrists above her head, strong legs spreading her wide while he worked his fingers deep into her, stretching and stroking and smoothing and coaxing early waves of pleasure from her.
August swallowed her gasps of pleasure and howls for more, his lips crushing hers while his tongue slid in deep beside hers. He flipped her over and hauled her ass into the air, kneading and squeezing and groping as he bent low and pressed his tongue along her slit, tasting all the slick she’d made just for him.
He knew it was for him by the way she cried his name, begged him to relieve her, and pleaded for a final release. She was a mess and he still wasn’t done. With his cock deep in her drenched pussy, he popped his thumb in his mouth and licked some saliva on it so when he pressed it against her tight pucker it slipped in with ease. Francesca backed right into it with no hesitation and he knew he’d be able to get all the way in again tonight. She was absolutely ready and wanting that.
He took some time lubing and loosening her up. He had three fingers in with his cock still pumping and she wasn’t showing any signs of wanting him to stop. When August finally pushed the tip in, he could feel the way she drew him in. God, how she wanted to be fucked in the ass.
He did that for her, or so he told himself. He couldn’t quite admit that even if she hadn’t wanted it tonight, he may have taken her this way sooner or later. It was what gave him the ultimate orgasm and it was only a bonus that she loved it, too. August thought about how it might have been fun to add a man to their bed so she could choke on a dick while getting railed from behind, in either hole.
Once they were cleaned up and dressed, August ushered Francesca down to the hotel lobby to meet Mateo for the drive to the club.
“August, baby. This isn’t the way to the club,” Francesca commented, glancing out the window.
“And how would you know the way to the club, darling? We’ve never been here together before.” He watched her closely, scanned her face and body for any twitch, any shiver, any tell. As always, he found nothing.
“The GPS says,” she answered, pulling her hand up from beside her and showing him the mapping app that was clearly flashing to recalculate a route. “I always love to see directions. It helps me get used to the city. God, I hope we come back here someday. I always wanted to see Paris. Now that we’re here, I never want to leave.”
Francesca turned back to peer out the window again and August watched her marvel at the lights and buildings around them. For all her sharp edges, August always found the wonder in her eyes endearing. Though he did find it odd when he realized she had most likely spent time in Europe, though she acted as if everything was brand new each time. When they pulled up to the warehouse, he restrained a small smirk when she commented that it didn’t look like the kind of club that suited her dress.
That was her way of saying the spot looked haggard and run down and maybe a little beneath them. And of course it was. It was a warehouse. It was most definitely not a club.
August let her enter first, door held like a gentleman before he turned the handle over to Mateo and entered himself. He didn’t bother hiding the lick of his lips as he watched her ass in the tight dress strut forward in front of him. He could tell she was still horny from the afternoon.
August caught her as she stumbled back into him, seemingly to escape the sight in front of her.
“August, what is this?” He could hear her voice break when she asked the question.
“What does it look like darling?” he answered. Something in her answer would hopefully convince Mateo he had been wrong when he pointed a finger at her. August felt differently, partly due to his previous conversations with her and partly due to the very little actual evidence Mateo presented to make his case. August countered with the more obvious details that pointed to the man in the chair.
“August, you said I had nothing to worry about with you. You said…” she leaned into him, and August thought he detected at least a hint of terror. It would be the first time she’d broken like this before him, though he was sure she barely knew this man sitting before her, beaten unconscious. Will Shaw had hardly ever been around when she was. Maybe a few nights at the club, but always on the periphery.  She didn’t know him, she could only see the state he was in, probably barely hanging on. Of course she’d flinch. This wasn’t the first time he was showing her his hand, but it was a doozy.
“August, please. Did you know what was happening here? You have to help him. You can’t let him die. If you help him, that’ll count for something,” Frankie pleaded with him. “You don’t have to do this. You don’t have to hurt people.”
“Francesca, you’re a very smart and resourceful woman. I’ve grown extremely fond of you. I want you with me, but you do need to know there is a dark side you haven’t seen yet. Sometimes, people work against me. Sometimes, they are looking out for themselves, trying to take from me more than they deserve. Sometimes, they have a sinister motive. Maybe they want to take my business, run me out of the game.” August walked Francesca cautiously towards Will, keeping a firm grip on her arms. “And sometimes, they want to hurt me. Sometimes they think they have the right to keep me from the work I was destined to do and they try to get me in trouble. Will here was trying to get me into trouble.”
August spun Francesca to face him, searching her eyes for understanding.
“Francesca, do you think it’s right for someone to pretend to be someone they aren’t? And then to use that subterfuge to ingratiate themselves into my life so they could try to find unflattering details about my work?”
August watched Francesca blink and saw her pupils dilate. The way her iris had let the black overtake it told him what he needed to know: she was scared. It was good enough for him.
“Nnn..no, August,” she stammered. “But he’s really hurt. Lemme help him.”
August wasn’t prepared for the way she twisted from his grip, so she was on her knees next to Will before he had a chance to take hold of her again. He watched her touch him tentatively, perhaps checking for a pulse as she pushed his watch out of the way and set her fingers on his wrist. She set a hand on the back of his neck and tilted his head back as she pulled his eyelids gently open to check for any reaction. The way her shoulders relaxed told August Will was still alive.
“Anything you think you can do for him? It’s of no use. Francesca, this is something you need to get comfortable with. I will not allow someone to hurt me. Do you understand?”

Syverson
Frankie had been out of pocket and unreachable for weeks now. Syverson knew every move she made, along with August Walker, but the fact that she wouldn’t answer his calls or texts, even on the burner phone number he’d been given made him nervous. Or perhaps frustrated was a better word for it.
He continued to liaise with Director Marshall, usually through Ramos, and continued stacking evidence against Walker even though there was nothing he could do about it for now. His superiors weren’t happy about the fact that another agency was blocking his case, but pressure from even higher up forced them to accept the stalled state of the investigation.
He spent days in surveillance locations and nights thinking about Frankie in his bed. He had to keep reliving those moments to fend off the visuals of her and August together. What he wouldn’t give to have her next to him again, begging for his touch.
He had signed off on the joint agency paperwork that would allow Frankie back into the country with the dope August was peddling, but he hated how much deeper she was getting with August. She was now openly transporting for him which meant August was placing his trust in her even more than before.
Taglists
He also wanted to trust she knew what she was doing, but he feared for her safety, no matter how good of an agent she was. Victoria continued to assure him that Walter had everything under control, but he only wanted to hear it from Frankie’s mouth directly. Apparently, until the CIA was done with their case, that was never gonna happen.

Late October, 2000
For some reason, everything was going wrong.
It hadn’t started that way. It had started going really well, actually. Your last class of the week got canceled; Sarah was going straight from school to Lizzy’s house for a slumber party so you and Joel had some alone time; the weather was beautifully cool and crisp, making it the perfect day to spend hours in the kitchen. It was the perfect excuse to have Joel come over for dinner. If that dinner just so happened to be so delicious he took you to bed and fucked you until you couldn’t think straight before you finished eating it, well, so be it.
But everything after that had steadily gone down hill. You picked up apples to make apple pie, brought them home and found that worms had gotten into three of them so you had to run back to the store. Then, your favorite burner on the stove died. And your apartment lost power for about 20 minutes while the potatoes au gratin were in the oven - though at least it was after the pie was done and you weren’t trying to adjust baking times for your notoriously fussy pie crust.
You’d intended to have everything just about done by the time Joel came over after work, had planned to have time to get changed into something that didn’t have a flour handprint on the pant leg, had meant to do your makeup. Instead, you were in the kitchen, apron on, hair in a pile on top of your head when he let himself into your apartment.
“Smells fuckin’ amazing in here,” he said, carrying a bottle of wine into your kitchen. You groaned and he frowned as he pressed a kiss to your temple. “You don’t sound happy to see me, I do something?”
“No,” you sighed and scrunched your nose. “I’m just way behind, I’ve run into nothing but problems, it’s been just a comedy of errors starring me and my kitchen today…”
“Here,” he said, setting the wine down and looking around your small kitchen for a moment. He went to the cutting board where you had set out the vegetables for the salad. He unbuttoned the cuffs of his shirt, rolling the sleeves up to his elbows and washing his hands before picking up a knife. “I got this unless there’s somethin’ else that would be better.”
You just looked at him for as he started chopping a carrot. After a moment he frowned and glanced at you.
“Really startin’ to think I did somethin’ that I don’t know I did,” he said, looking at you skeptically.
“Are you trying to turn me on or are you really just that oblivious?” You shook your head and smiled. He smirked.
“Well, wasn’t trying to but I’ll take what I can get…”
You went back to getting the green beans ready to go into the oven next to the roast chicken, looking over at Joel cutting vegetables, his forearms looking far better than anyone’s forearms had any right to.
“You like that thing where you only cut off part of the skin of the cucumber, right?” He asked, glancing over at you.
“That’s it,” you yanked at the apron tie, the towel you’d tucked into it falling to the floor before you pulled it up and over your head, leaving it on the counter before you grabbed Joel and kissed him, pressing your body against his, your fingers tangling in his hair. He dropped the knife with a clatter to the cutting board as his hands went around to your ass, pulling your hips against his own. You pressed him back toward your bedroom and his hands slid lower, down to your thighs, tugging you up until your legs were wrapped around his waist. He carried you back to your bedroom, setting you on the bed before unbuttoning your jeans and pulling them and your underwear down your legs, tossing them on the floor.
“Got me starving, Baby,” he kissed up your calf to your knee to your thigh until he reached your slit, his tongue teasing your seam. “And you taste fuckin’ delicious.”
He flicked your clit, his brown eyes looking up your body to your face until your head dropped back onto the mattress with a desperate moan. You felt him smile against you as his tongue parted your lower lips, plundering your tight, wet hole.
“Fuck, Joel,” you groaned as his tongue sank into you, his nose pressing into your clit. Your hand went down to find his head, grabbing at his curls as your hips rocked against his face. You couldn’t help it, he felt too damn good. He looped his arms around your thighs, tugging you closer, pressing his tongue deeper into you, devouring you and your wetness, making your back arch and your core tighten around him.
“C’mon baby,” he panted for breath, thrusting two fingers deep inside you and hooking them into the soft place inside you that he’d made his own. He put his lips to your clit and sucked, making you squirm, your body wound so tight it felt like you were about to snap. He pressed a kiss to your clit and licked it before pulling back ever so slightly. “Want to feel you cum for me…”
His tongue was back inside you, working in tandem with his fingers as his nose brushed your clit. Your hands flew to the bed, fisting your quilt as you pressed your hips against his face and your orgasm took hold, the urgent, pulsing heat flooding you. He ate you through it, unrelenting, moaning as your slick fell on his tongue.
When your body went limp, he slid his fingers and tongue from you, wiping his mouth before he pulled off his shirt and unbuttoned his pants, shoving them off his body before kissing up your stomach to your chest to your throat to your mouth, unbuttoning your shirt as he went, his weight settling between your thighs. His hard length was weeping against your slit, the head of him brushing against your swollen clit.
“Did so good, cummin’ all over me,” he said, kissing you deeply. You could taste yourself on his tongue, mixed with the mint of his toothpaste. You smiled a little at that, that he’d brushed his teeth before coming over. “Want you to do that again while I’m inside you…”
His lips brushed yours when he spoke and you nodded against him, still needy and desperate. He kissed you as he parted your inner walls, aching and tight in spite of your orgasm.
“Fuck, Baby,” he groaned as his head met your back wall, your pussy stretched around him. “You feel too damn good…”
You rocked your hips up against him and he moaned, dropping his head to your chest as your channel gripped him. While he was distracted, you pushed off the bed and rolled him onto his back, keeping him deep inside you as you settled on top of him, straddling his hips. His hands went to your ass, fingers digging into your plush flesh as you pressed yourself down on him.
“Still don’t know what I did to deserve this,” he said as you tugged off your shirt and cast it aside before unhooking your bra and freeing your breasts. “Fucking hell, Baby…”
You just smiled down at him, putting your hands on his stomach to balance yourself as you started to rise and fall over his cock. You started slow, coming up far enough that just his head was inside you before taking all of him back into you again. Every stroke stretched you to just shy of the point of pain, his cock making room for him inside of you. You paused every few thrusts, grinding your hips down against his, pushing him almost impossibly deeper, his head catching on the place in you that made your body tighten further.
His hands went to your waist and he guided you as you rode him, thrusting up against you as your clit pressed down against him, moving faster and harder over him as your orgasm built.
“Fuck, Baby, you’re fuckin’ gorgeous,” he panted below you. “Fuckin’ perfect, Jesus…”
“Want you to cum,” you moaned, your cunt gripping him tight. “Want to make you cum…”
“Just keep doin’ that,” his grip on you tightened. “Won’t be able to stop myself, you keep doin’ that…”
“Good,” you ground down against him, making his hips stutter below you. “Don’t want you stop, want you to fill me up…” “Fuck, I’m gonna cum,” he pulled you down tight against him and you felt him come apart inside you, his pulsing triggering your own orgasm, making you moan. “You feel so goddamn good.”
You collapsed on him as your orgasm eased, panting for breath as you kissed him, his spend combining with yours inside of you. He put his arms around you and rolled onto his side, keeping his gradually softening cock within you.
“Gonna need you to give me some specific notes about what I did to get you to do that,” he teased, his fingers tracing the curve of your hip to your waist.
“Don’t act like you’ve ever had to try that hard to get me into bed,” you rolled your eyes.
“Yeah but I’d kill to get you to jump me in the kitchen again,” he kissed your nose. “Sexy as hell…”
You giggled and pressed yourself closer, kissing his throat, enjoying the afterglow when your smoke alarm went off.
“Shit!” You all but jumped away from him and grabbed your robe from your bedpost, throwing it on as you ran to the kitchen, waving your hands to try to clear the air around the smoke detector. Smoke was pouring from your oven, the smell of burning chicken thick on the air. You turned off the oven and opened the door, grabbing your oven mitts and pulling out the food, putting it on top of your stove, feeling like you were about to cry. The chicken skin was charcoal black. So were the potatoes. Joel, his jeans back on and his hair a tangled mess, slipped an arm around your waist, tugging you back against him as he pressed his lips to your temple.
“I’m sorry,” you said, voice thick, oven mitts still on your hands as they hung limply at your sides. “Ugh, I’ve just fucked up everything today…”
“Definitely didn’t fuck up everything,” he said gently. “C’mon. I know you’ve got some dress I’m gonna want to rip off you the second you put it on, go get changed and I’ll show you off. Make all these other men think I sold my soul to get you on my arm… We’ll get dinner, maybe find a place to hear some music. Promise, it’ll be fun.”
You laughed a little and looked over at the pie sitting on your table.
“Well, at least we’ve got dessert,” you sighed, leaning your head back onto him.
Joel nipped your throat.
“Damn right we do.”
You smiled a little and kissed him before going to get changed, picturing Joel with the sleeves of his shirt rolled up to his elbows again, his cum dripping down your leg. Definitely worth it.

Hate You Too- Sam Kiszka x F!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Your next door neighbor is absolutely infuriating, hosting obnoxious parties that last all night and pestering you at any given chance. He’s just so annoying that he stays on your mind constantly, or at least that’s what you’ve been telling yourself…After all, when an incident leads the two of you to spend some actual time, he ends up surprising you.
Includes: just some good old enemies to lovers angst, alcohol use, a touch of fluff
Your next door neighbor was a complete asshole. In the five months since he’d moved in, that was the best way to summarize what you’d gathered about him.
You had to admit that the walls of your apartment were unfortunately thin. That meant that whenever Sam threw one of his many parties, you heard all of it from your living room. It was especially chaotic when his brothers and their mutual friend were present.
To make it all worse, he was so unapologetic about the noise and the mess left out front by your door afterwards. If he didn’t come by and pick it all up by the time you got home from work, then you’d definitely have lost it by now. Honestly, you were close to losing it anyway.
Just the other day, you’d been fumbling with your grocery bags and trying to unlock your door. For some reason, Sam decided that it was a great idea to hover and pepper you with questions and other annoyances. He would do that just about every time you ran into him in the hall or getting your mail.
It was such a drastic difference from what you expected when you first met him. God, you could still remember the interaction and it was almost funny how pleasant it went.
You had just gotten home from work when you saw a group of guys around your age carrying in boxes to the apartment next door. The place had been empty since you’d lived there, so looks like this was your first neighbor. Thought gave you a surprising burst of social energy that you didn’t normally have. You decided to head over towards the curly-haired man that just walked outside.
“Hi, I’m Y/N L/N. I live next door,” You grinned and gestured behind you towards your door.
The guy gave you a friendly smile in return and held out a hand for you to shake. “I’m Josh, my little brother Sam is the one moving in. Hey, Sammy!”
You shook Josh’s hand and moments later another guy came outside. This one definitely bearer some resemblance to the one you were speaking to, but he was taller and his hair was longer.
“Hey, I’m Sam Kiszka, it’s great to meet you…” He trailed off.
“Y/N. I was just telling your brother that I live next door. Just thought I’d welcome you to the building and all that good neighborly stuff.” You chuckled, hoping you didn’t sound like you were rambling.
Now that you were actually looking at him and talking to him you noticed that “holy shit, this guy’s attractive”, as your friends commented the first time they saw him.
That was another thing. Sam was…to be completely transparent, he was hot. But he knew it, and that made him too arrogant for your liking. But that wasn’t something he revealed right away.
“Well, I appreciate the welcome. Glad to know I have a friendly neighbor if I need to borrow a cup of sugar,” He smiled at you.
You hated how your heart fluttered like a teenage girl at the simple act, despite the overly corny joke he just made. You elected to brush that feeling off. “Do you guys need any help unpacking or anything? I know it’s getting kind of late.” You offered, steering the conversation back to something relevant.
Sam waved a dismissive hand. “Nah, we’re almost done. Between the four of us, we got it all carried in pretty quick. I should probably introduce you to all of the guys, since they’ll probably be here all the time.”
He led you over to the doorway and you waved to the other two guys unloading boxes in the kitchen. They waved back with friendly smiles.
“Jake, Danny, this is Y/N, my new neighbor. Y/N, that’s Jake, my older brother, and Danny, my best friend.” Sam pointed to a shorter guy that looked like Josh with long hair, and then the taller man with long, curly hair.
“It’s nice to meet you both,” You added, and they returned the sentiment.
“Hey, thanks for being so welcoming. You’ll definitely have to come over for the housewarming party,” Sammy elbowed you lightly with a smirk.
You chuckled and gave him a nod. “Sounds like fun.”
You said your goodbyes so he could finish settling in and returned to your apartment, happy to have a nice person for a new neighbor.
But the invite never came. Sam threw several parties a couple weeks after moving in, but he never said a word to you about them beforehand. Which was completely fine, the two of you were essentially strangers, so you could fully understand why he didn’t invite you.
Then, as time went on, everything got louder and more disruptive, and he started his little routine of pestering you. You came to the conclusion that it was best the two of you avoid each other. Well, until people started wildly beating at your front door.
It was a regular Saturday night, which you had planned to spend rewatching your favorite movie, but then the party next door started. And then guests filled the hall. And then those guests got a little too drunk and a little too rowdy.
As soon as people started slamming against your door, something snapped in you. That was the last straw, and you were tired of being passive. It was honestly inconceivable to you how no one had left a noise complaint to the landlord yet.
In about half a second you were charging into Sam’s living room, absolutely fuming.
“Samuel fucking Kiszka!” You shot daggers as you paced right up to the man in question.
He stood at the counter and didn’t even look up at you as he was grabbing another beer from the fridge. “Actually, my middle name is Francis.”
He wanted to be funny? Fine, then you’d have a delightful little conversation. “Bold of you to own that.”
He quirked an eyebrow as he took a swig. “What’s wrong with Francis?”
You gave him a mockingly innocent look. “…Oh nothing.”
He shrugged. “I’m just going to ignore that implication. Hey! Why don’t you join us?”
Oh my god, he could not be serious.
“I have a better idea, why not get your wasted friends to stop trying to break my fucking door down?” You spat.
He looked a little taken aback by your outburst before letting out a sigh. “Should’ve know better than to even ask.” He muttered under his breath. “Listen, I’ll tell them to rein it in, okay?”
You weren’t sure what the first statement was supposed to mean, but you didn’t really care about that. “Thank you,” You said evenly, and then headed back to your apartment.
Sam was true to his word at least. No sooner than you’d entered your apartment and poured yourself a glass of wine, the noise in the hall stopped. You finally got to enjoy your movie after all.
—————
Maybe you were to mean to Sam last night. This was karma. That was your first thought when you woke up the next morning freezing your ass off. Of course it had to be the dead of winter when your heater decided to die, and you’d let your friends borrow your little space heater for the weekend.
You tried to fix the damn thing, but no luck. Then you tried calling maintenance, but it had snowed considerably last night and they couldn’t make it out to fix the heat.
You were unfortunately snowed in without heat. You piled on as many layers as you could stand and waited it out for a few hours. At least you still had power.
It was just after lunch that you decided you couldn’t take it anymore. You called your mom to ask for advice, but she gave you quite possibly the worst suggestion imaginable.
“Listen, honey, I know he bothers you, but maybe go ask that neighbor of yours if he has an extra heater?”
“Absolutely not, Mom! I had to go yell at him last night because he had people over and it got out of hand again.” You scoffed.
She chuckled quietly over the phone. “I know you’re annoyed, but it could be better to apologize than sit there in your winter coat for who knows how many more hours.”
You pursed your lips together with frustration. “Okay, I’ll think about it. Love you, Mom.”
After you’d hung up, you surprised yourself and actually thought about the idea. No way. You weren’t going to do it.
He was rude, and you got pissy when you were around him. It would be a terrible plan. He definitely wouldn’t let you in, for starters. And if he did, there’s no way he’d let you borrow a heater, as if people just casually have several heaters for one average-sized apartment.
Then you sneezed and snot started running down your nose, and you decided that you didn’t want to play that game.
Stuffing away your pride, you cleaned your face off and headed to the door. You stood in the hall for a few moments to prepare yourself to suck it up and apologize and then ask for help. This was humiliating.
To you shock, Sam answered seconds after you knocked. He took in your overly clothed appearance with a chuckle. “Cold?”
You wanted to snark back at him, but stopped yourself with a pained smile. “A little chilly, yeah. Listen, I wanted to come over and apologize for yelling yesterday…and to see if you by chance had a spare heater?”
Now that made him fully laugh. “Using me for my heater, huh?”
“No, no, no!” You held up your hands defensively. “Well, yes, but I also do feel bad about last night. I was harsh.”
He folded his arms and smirked. “Yeah, you were pretty harsh.”
You couldn’t stop the eye roll his response provoked. “I was a bitch, I get it, but do you have another heater or not?”
“Well, I only have the one heater…but you’re welcome to hang out here until they get the heat back on.”
You blinked at him, stunned. “What?”
“I said you’re welcome to stay if you’re tired of sitting in your cold apartment.” He stepped aside to give you room to enter. “It’s pretty toasty in here.”
“O-oh, okay…thanks.” You nodded, slightly confused as you stepped inside.
You weren’t sure what exactly was happening right now, but the wave of heat that hit you as soon as you entered felt go nice for you to contemplate things too much. Sam pointed out the coat rack for you to shed some layers and headed to the kitchen.
“Want some coffee?” He called out as he poured himself a cup.
“Um, sure, coffee would be great.” You smiled sheepishly. This was possibly the most uncomfortable encounter you’d had in your life.
“You can change the channel on tv if you want. I really don’t care what’s on. Just make yourself at home and all that.” He added dismissively, as if the two of you hung out often and didn’t dislike each other.
The last thing you’d ever expected was to end up in Sam’s living room. Now he was serving you coffee and asking you what you wanted to watch on tv. To top it all off, he seemed so unbothered but the awkward silence.
Awkward silences genuinely freaked you out. You had to say something. At least two episodes of Friends had passed, and not a word between the two of you.
You asked the first question you could think of before your mind could stop you.
“Hey so what did you mean by that thing you said last night? About how you ‘shouldn’t have even asked me to stay at the party’?”
Sam looked briefly startled before shrugging. “Oh, we’ll I figured you didn’t want to since I sent Jake to invite you to the first one and you said no, that parties weren’t your thing.”
Now it was your turn to look startled. “Jake never asked me to come over. I haven’t talked to him since the night you moved in.”
Maybe trying to start conversation wasn’t the best plan. Now both of you were staring at each other in confused silence as you processed what was going on, or rather what didn’t happen.
Sam was the first to speak again. “I swear I told him to go down the hall to the right on the night of the housewarming party. He claimed a girl answered and turned him down on the offer.”
Well, you did live down the hall to the right, so that didn’t quite add up. “He must’ve talked to someone else then. There’s a girl across the hall from me? Maybe he went there?”
Sam thought for a minute, then something seemed to click. “You know, he did seem a little buzzed when I sent him on that mission. Fuck, who am I kidding? He was probably just drunk, there was tequila out.”
You chuckled and he soon joined in. The funniest part was that it no longer felt odd to be laughing with him.
“Sorry about that, Y/N. I promise I did have the intention of inviting you,” He laughed.
You waved a hand at him. “No, really it’s all right. I mean, it was your party, you didn’t even have to invite me in the first place.”
“So, are they your thing?”
“Huh?”
“Parties. You said the girl across the hall doesn’t go out much, but what about you? Would you have showed?” He asked, just seeming generally curious.
“I don’t know, probably. I mean, I didn’t know how annoying your parties could get at that point so I might’ve showed.” You gave him a small, mischievous grin and sipped your coffee.
He feigned hurt. “You wound me, Y/N.”
“Maybe invite me to a party, and I wouldn’t have to be so mean.”
He gave you a real smile this time, one that made your heart do a strange, almost imperceptible flutter. “Okay, I will next time.”
“Well, okay then.” You smiled back, cheeks warming slightly.
And then everything was fine. The tension had melted, and casual banter floated through the room as the rest of the evening went by. Last night you hated the man, but now…now talking to him made you feel fine. No, you were actually enjoying yourself.
Maybe Sam Kiszka wasn’t all that bad after all.

10.19.24 @ 2:37
i’ve been journaling physically a lot lately, but my brain has been firing and there are too many digital moments i want to contribute to this entry, so i’m back here in my notes app.
today, or rather yesterday at this point, i released my first single for boypop, king. i keep wanting to say boypop’s single and remembering that boypop is me. i am boypop.
Tumblr media
it came out officially at 9pm last night in la (midnight est) as m and i were eating noodles down the block from my apartment, shortly before we rushed home to get ready for the fka twigs show. the fact that i didn’t even know there was a dress code, just tried to dress as myself as possible, and was complimented for my look, fitting right in. granted, there were plenty of better outfits of me, but i was in the hotter 50%, shall we say (in the normie to hottie ratio of any show bc these bitches reaches are getting too wide). and i did not fit in with the slur of rick owens shoes meeting my eyeline on the dance floor. but i had prosthetics on, which i applied myself for the first time (fuck yes), had draped fabric over my boots to create a different silhouette, and was wearing my new favorite vintage torn knitted top with the pearl beads at the hem, and i felt confident.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
even with af in my inbox questioning every creative decision i’ve made so far for the music video and, in parallel, acting the least supportive out of all of my friends in this time when they are, in fact, my best friend. trying not to let that take up too much of my headspace while i’m starting this new evolutionary phase of my life. i think it’s important to notice these things now, though, and i’m glad to have people around me who are supportive. it’s just always hard to trust support, questioning it as mere validation, while also distrusting any hesitance to cruelty, able to justify my reactions as just being sensitive.
i have talked and journaled and though that decision to death, however, and as of tonight, have locked color on the video and fixed the issue af told me was unfixable and i am content and happy and proud of what we have created, so i will move on.
Tumblr media
last night, i saw my artistic mother, fka twigs, in person for the first time in my life, having come into myself, in a different time, with her music as my soundtrack, as a teenager. interesting, talking to freak today about high school, spending so much time institutionalized against my will, and that fka twigs’s music had so much relevance in my life at that point. i used to reblog gifs of her swinging in hair bondage and now i am about to release a music video with the same sword performer she used in her video for sad day. we danced the night away, tried to see through the ocean of phones, tried to capture what we could, made out in stalls, corners, smoked in the basement, and watched twigs, the mother of creatures, reach out to us, and just as i felt when i came out of the hole in the ground on the first day of shooting, it felt like boypop, the creature inside me, had been borne into something new. into life, into reality. we saw friends on the dance floor, ones we didn’t even know would be there, and rejoiced in a world where music is what holds us all together, what drives everything from our fashion to our work schedules, and it was eusexua.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and after we danced, the song was out in the world, and there was nothing i could do about it. all there was to do was sleep.
and today, although i woke up with a text from af that made me want to physically crawl through the phone just them if they know they are being just. like. their. mother. right now, or if it’s just a fucking coincidence, i did pivot enough to focus on the light + joy + excitement + relief that is this moment. i am proud of myself, for doing this, for making it this far, for fucking finishing the first last step. i didn’t call my mom, and i sure as fuck didn’t call my dad, but i did post like hell, send the song directly to the people who have expressed interest and are in my life.
i feel like people in music are kind of afraid of sharing their work when it’s not promo? and like direct messaging is a lot more work, but feels so much more genuine? i come from the literary world before music, so i’m very used to actively share your work with people who want to read it. it’s not often you get to the place where you can direct them where to buy your sales. when people expressed interest in my work, i would send them links to my website or articles/essays/short stories/poems that had been published of mine, or unpublished ones too, and it was never about getting views, but it was about the act of sharing your art/work with that individual person and them giving you back feedback and/or support if they liked it/fucked with it. so, yeah, i know that plenty of people are plugged in while also being very not plugged in, i know that there are people who have supported me along the way who have asked me where to listen to my music, and today, i finally had something to send them. so, i sent it to everyone in my close circles (ok maybe like 60% but i’ll keep going throughout the week), and i did write a lot of personalized messages to people who loved + supported me through this process/into the version of myself that has created this art.
the response i received, both from people i shared the song with, and from people i didn’t, was honestly overwhelming for my first single. i just like expected no one to know it was happening? at this point, i am just so shocked anyone has interest in something i’m doing that isn’t for something or someone else. so, i am forcing myself to paste the comments and notes and messages that made my heart happy today, because i want to remember this, because i need to cement celebration in my brain if i am going to survive my relationship with my art through this industry. and because reading every single one of these reminds me that the little decisions i make, the hyper fixations, the lore, the thread, is all worth it, because i know it, because it’s important to me, and sometimes, other people see it too (not pictured here)

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
You were sitting across your husband, enjoying the homemade dinner you had spent on your entire afternoon perfecting; trying to make it just how he liked.
Being the one who cooked dinner was a habit by now since he was never home.
At least this time he’s actually eating it, you thought. Because that Friday had been the first day of that week you ate together. It had most likely been the first day of that week the two of you had managed to spend more than ten minutes with each other uninterrupted.
You knew your thoughts were bitter and it hurt you to think that way about the man you loved, but you couldn’t help them from coming.
You missed him. You wanted him there with you. You wanted to kiss him and talk to him; to laugh with him and make love with him. You missed your Aaron.
So were you really that paranoid to wonder if he missed you too? Shouldn’t he have already asked you to sit on his lap and spend the rest of the dinner there, like you used to? You were dying to bury your face into his neck, but as it seemed all he cared about was the nicely cooked chicken he had in front of him.
“So there’s this new Spider-Man movie and Jack has been talking my ear off all day about it,” you laughed, trying to break the ice you weren’t sure Aaron had even noticed existed between the two of you.
He didn’t say anything in return. You could tell he was lost deep in his thoughts. Probably in thoughts about the case he had just returned from.
You understood, you really did. You couldn’t even imagine what his eyes had seen that day. But you were there for him. He used to talk to you about it.
“So I thought we could go to the movies tomorrow and you know, have a fun Saturday night,” you continued with a smile.
“Who are you going with?” he finally lifted his head to look at you.
“Us,” you laughed in confusion, blinking at him.
He frowned and didn’t even need to say his next words for you to understand what they would be.
You sighed heavily, and he knew he didn’t need to say anything further.
“Jack has been really excited about it. You know he won’t enjoy it if you’re not with us.”
He exhaled through his nose; a clear sign that your words bothered him. “Don’t you think I would if I could?”
“He didn’t even get to see you at all today,” you said.
“I kissed him goodnight when I came home,” he tried to justify himself.
“You know it’s not the same.”
He stared at you coldly. “I’m not judging you,” you tried to defend yourself.
“You are,” he said. “I’m doing my best. I know it’s not enough for you, but I’m trying.”
“Enough…for me?”
“You know what I mean.”
You took a deep breath, closing your eyes. You were a person who could say things out of anger that you didn’t mean, so taking a moment to think before you spoke was something you tried to follow in your life.
“Aaron, I don’t think it’s a secret that we haven’t been at our best lately.”
“We’re fine.”
“No we’re not! I miss you. Jack misses you. And if you miss us too, you’re doing a hell of a good job hiding it,” your voice broke as you were finishing your sentence.
He lowered his gaze so you couldn’t see his eyes and you hated it.
“Well do you?”
“Do I what?” he asked.
“Miss us.”
“Of course I do,” he raised his voice.
“Then start acting like it, Aaron,” you replied in a similar tone. “Or I swear to God, I don’t know what’s gonna happen.”
“What’s gonna happen?” he asked with his eyebrow raised. “Are you gonna leave me like Haley did?” The arrogance in his voice, his certainty that you wouldn’t do it – a fact that any other day would have made you happy - made your blood boil.
“Maybe I will.”
So much for thinking before speaking.
Silence fell between you, both of you trying to absorb the words you had just said.
Aaron’s eyes were staring into yours with so much intensity you could feel them burn you. A few seconds later you saw those beautiful eyes of his that you so adored filled with tears.
“You’d do that?” he asked you, sounding completely heartbroken. “You’d leave us?”
“Aaron no,” you stood up immediately and walked towards his side of the table. “No, I didn’t mean that.”
His large hand covered his face, trying to hide the fact that he was crying.
“Baby…” you whispered, and moved closer, taking his hand in yours, making him uncover his face. You kissed his palm and took a seat in his lap. “Look at me,” you said.
He did like you said. “Please don’t leave me,” he sobbed, breaking your heart. “I’m so sorry, I promise I’ll make more time for you. I promise, please don’t leave.”
“I won’t, baby. I won’t,” you said, but you weren’t sure he could really listen.
“Please don’t leave,” he said again. “You’re the love of my life. I thought life was over after Haley, but you put me back together. You saved me. I can’t do life without you, my love.”
You wrapped your arms around him and let him cry in your embrace. You knew that whatever you were to say at that moment, he wouldn’t be able to hear.
You kissed the top of his head, simply whispering to him that “it’s okay”.
“I’m sorry,” he said one last time, before lifting his head to look at you. His face was completely covered in tears and you were surprised how you weren’t crying too.
“It’s okay, honey,” you told him softly, cupping his cheek with your hand. “I love you. And I’m not leaving. Ever. I just miss you.”
“I miss you, too. So much. I missed this,” he said, trying to pull you closer, even though it was not physically possible.
“Why haven’t you been talking to me?” you asked carefully. “I used to know your every thought.”
“I didn’t wanna burden you with such heavy topics. You’re not my therapist,”’ he replied, running his hand up and down your thigh.
“No, I’m your partner. And I’m here for you Aaron. I don’t want you to pull away from me.”
“You’re right,” he sighed.
“I want all of you. The good and the bad, remember?”
He smiled and you felt such a relief being in the presence of a sight like that. “Yes,” he said. “I’m sorry for making you think I don’t miss you. All day, what keeps me going is the thought that I get to hold you in my arms as we sleep. And when we sleep apart, I look at this picture the three of us took last Christmas to help me sleep peacefully.”
You felt yourself tear up at his words. “Baby, I’m so sorry too for accusing you. Of course I know you love us. And we love you too. So, so much.”
You sat there in his arms and you comforted each other in a way only the two of you knew.
“What’s the name of that Spider-Man movie? I’ll book us tickets,” he said and you grinned, reaching out for your phone.

"What's up with Y/N?"
Eijiro stepped out of the locker room with a towel slung over his shoulder and made his way into the kitchenette where Mina was chugging a bottle of water before getting back to her patrol. His eyes were trained on their mutual friend out on the patio, pacing.
You had your phone pressed to your ear, the high neck of your hero costume unzipped to your collarbone and he noticed your gloves discarded on a chair.
"No clue." Mina shrugged. "She got back from patrol and she noticed a bunch of missed calls from her mom. She's been out there, flailing on the phone for the last fifteen minutes now."
The three of you had met in your second year at UA when you transferred into their class and were quickly accepted by their little squad of friends. You were a bit quiet at first but quickly found comfort in the group. Eijiro had grown especially close to you when you both interned with Fat Gum.
Late nights traveling on the train back to school, a few close calls while helping patrol, and days spent playing cards while you both healed up in the hospital left plenty of time for Eijiro to get to know you better than most. It was how he knew you had a pretty bad relationship with your family, why you hated returning home for the holidays almost as much as you hated any and all forms of tomatoes.
He considered going out there just to see if there was anything he could do but before he had the chance, you were sliding the glass door open. "Oh, good, you're back." He offered you a bottle of water for your throat that he assumed was sore after that argument. "I- um- can I borrow you for a second? Alone?"
Mina snorted a laugh. "If you guys wanna bang it out on the counter you can just say so. I gotta go to work anyways."
Eijiro threw the towel at her as she left the room leaving you two alone. "What's goin' on?"
You hoisted yourself up on the countertop while he leaned against the fridge. "You remember my cousin's wedding that's happening this winter?"
He nodded. He vividly remembered the both of you getting waste a few weeks ago when you were filling out the RSVP and accidentally marking 'plus one'. Then you ran around trying to find White Out but he'd told you if you didn't find a date or have a significant other by the time of the wedding, he'd just go with you.
You argued that your family was bat shit crazy, had more money than they could spend in their lifetime and because of that, they were among some of the rudest people you knew, and you didn't want Eijiro or anyone else around that.
The thing was, Eijiro already knew that and was still okay with going. He came from money too. A lot of it. His family was just more welcoming than yours, the wealth never really going to their heads. But, he reminded you that he'd ran into enough people like those in your family that he knew how to handle them. You finally agreed to let him accompany you, leaving the plus one box checked but the name line blank.
"Well, my cousin just found out that surprise, she's pregnant! And, obviously, she can't have a wedding while seven months along so they've decided to move the wedding up to this weekend."
He nearly choked on his own spit. "This weekend? As in four days from now?"
"Yup! Saturday at 4 in the evening. Oh! No one's supposed to know she's pregnant either. So, I'm just supposed to compliment her on how flattering her dress looks, how thin she is," Your hands strangled the water bottle between them, "And I have to find something flattering to my figure because my mother has seen me in my hero outfit and she's so glad I wear a mask because if anyone knew her daughter ran around looking like I do, well, it'd ruin her!"
You massaged your temples circling back to the actual point, "Anyways, I just wanted to bitch for a sec and let you know you're off the hook since four days is just a little short notice and I told her my plus one wouldn't be able to get the time off that fast."
He pushed off the fridge. "Well, wait, hang on! I'm not letting you go in alone to deal with them! Hell no! You need backup!" You looked almost taken aback by his abruptness, "Yeah. I can work this out. Is the wedding at the same place it was supposed to be or has it moved?"
"No, it's still that fancy lodge in California. I was planning on leaving Friday morning and then coming back either Sunday night or Monday morning since my mother insists I go to their brunch the following day. But, Eijiro, I already have this weekend off..."
"Denki owes me a favor or twelve. He's supposed to be off this weekend too, I'll just see if he can cover me."
"And if he can't?"
"Then..." He pressed the back of his hand to his forehead, "Y/N, am I feeling warm to you? I think I might be starting a fever!"
You folded your arms, shaking your head, "Thought you said lying isn't manly."
"Technically, correct. But, what would be real unmanly is for me to let you deal with your family's bullshit all alone." You watched him closely, "To be honest, I'm sure we could just explain you had a family thing come up and asked me to come along for moral support. I don't really think anyone would think twice about it. Hell, you took a few days off to console me when my turtle died suddenly!"
"Eiji, you refused to eat."
"And you brought me my favorite dumplings! Same thing!"
You might have shaken your head at him but your arms opened wide. The telltale sign you wanted affection. He walked forward, consuming you in a tight hug. Your arms latched around his neck, face buried in the hollow of his throat. "You're the best."
"I just do what I can."
>>><<<
You should have canceled. Instead of Eijiro faking sick to get out of work, you should have faked it with your mother so you didn't have to go in the first place. You crumpled to the floor of your bedroom in pure frustration amidst the twenty or so outfits and dozen pairs of shoes you'd thrown out of your closet trying to find something that your mother would deem appropriate.
It wasn't your fault you had a fuller figure. You worked out, ate right, not to mention your job kept you very active, and yet your, hips, ass, and breasts were by no means subtle.
Your mother had also insisted on the dress being floor-length and modern, "Do try not wearing all black. It's a wedding, not a funeral. And, get your hair looking natural, please." And, just like that, 70% of your wardrobe was out the window!
"It's open!" You called from the floor when the doorbell rang.
"You really should lock this." Mina tutted, walking through the door with a bag full of takeout.
"I do. At night."
"Honey, it's 9 PM."
"Night like bedtime."
Mina just rolled her eyes and walked into your tiny kitchen. "I see the dress hunt is going well."
"I actually figured it out!" You got off the floor, careful not to step on a heel as you made your way to the pink haired woman, "I'm just gonna go in my birthday suit. I figured, my mother made my body technically therefore she can't disapprove of it. Because, you know, she's never done anything wrong in her life!"
Your best friend snorted out a laugh and passed you the take-out container stuffed full of stir fry. "you're a wonderful person, you know that?" You loved the fact Mina didn't even have to ask what you wanted.
"If you'd just move closer to work then you could pick it up yourself and I wouldn't have to bring it to you."
"Too expensive." You declared after a mouthful. "You pay almost twice as much as I do per month and I just don't see the point. I have damn near the same amount of space you do for half the cost!"
You adored your small one-bedroom apartment. It was perfect. Right above a bakery that you visited each morning after your run and a little balcony that provided you with the most stunning view of the sunset.
"You and Kiri, I swear." Mina just shook her head and curled up with her food on the loveseat. "I thought he'd end up with the biggest house out of us all the moment we started making that real Pro money. You've seen his parent's house. It's massive! You could get lost in that place!"
Eijiro's place was barely bigger than your own. He lived in the same condo he had since you'd graduated UA, claiming it was perfect for him in each and every way. But, you knew that he donated a sizable amount of his paycheck every month to charities, the same as you. With savings to spare, neither of you saw the point in hoarding it and therefore the small condo was all he could afford with what he actually kept.
"Just don't understand how a guy that big can live in such a tiny little space. At least with you, it's you know, physically feasible."
Eijiro's bedroom was barely large enough to fit the king-sized bed the man needed to sleep comfortably and even then, his feet were dangerously close to dangling off the bed. And, as if the man's ears were burning, your cell phone went off under a pile of discarded shoes.
Shark-E: Figured out your dress situation? If not, I'm just gonna pack like ten different ties and hope for the best.
You: Yeah! I totally did! I'm just gonna wear this birthday suit I got and call it a night.
You chuckled at your own joke all over again. Watching the grey ellipses appear and then vanish, appear and vanish again. After a third time, you took pity on the man.
You: Joking, Ei. I still don't have it figured out but Mina's over so, hopefully, she can help.
Shark-E: Gonna give me a damn heart attack! Seriously, I wouldn't put it past you just to see the look on your mom's face. Tell Mina hi and good luck to you. I vote the dress from the Hero Gala two years ago.
You: Hi from Mina. Can't. Too much boobs.
Shark-E: You take that back right now! There is NEVER such a thing as too much boobs!
You chuckled to yourself, putting your phone down, and then finished off the last of your delicious dinner, thinking about the dress Eijiro mentioned.
You wondered if maybe there was a way you could make the thing work but it was so very low cut. So much tape had been used to make sure no slips happened but damn was it worth it! The beaded bodice with the sparkling long sleeves, gods, how you loved that dress.
"I'm inclined to agree with our shark boy. You're busty, who gives a damn. You looked hot as hell in that dress."
"My mother, that's who. As much as I'd like to not give a flying fuck what she thinks, for some dumb reason, I do. On top of her telling me that the amount of cleavage I would show would be vastly inappropriate for a wedding, she'd also say the way it hugs my hips makes them look too fat."
Mina rolled her eyes. "She's such a piece of work." Pushing herself up, she held her arms out to you, wiggling little pink fingers for you to take. "Come on then. Let's get you sorted."
"What about that one you wore to the charity art thingy with Kyoka last winter? The one with the silver top."
"Silver is too close to white." You called out from within your closet.
"What! Not true!"
"You know that. I know that. Every person with two brain cells knows that, which is why most of my family does not know that."
"Fine..." She whined and started sifting through the opposite end of your closet. "Oh, what about this?" Mina waved about the blue and green plaid skirt that made up your uniform from your middle school days when you lived in America. "Please try this on. I'm begging!"
You were pretty sure it wouldn't even go over your thighs anymore.
"It's got a better chance of fitting you!"
Mina threw it at you anyway. Slipping off the sweats you wore, somehow, someway, you were able to tug it on AND get it zipped, barely. It no longer covered your ass but you still enjoyed the way it swished around when you wiggled your hips.
"You could be fulfilling so many people's fantasies right now." Mina mused.
You pulled the skirt off and sweats back on, throwing the former back at her. "Yeah, you can take it and go fulfill Hanta's fantasies if you like. Not like I've got anyone to impress." You pulled down a dress you bought on sale a year ago but Mina was quick to dismiss it.
Too puffy, she said and then held up one that was from Momo. "I needed to get it shortened and I don't have time for that now."
"Wait..." She hummed and dropped the Momo dress. "I know what it should be!"
Mina hurried through the closet, grumbling about not finding it. "Just tell me which dress and I can tell you where it's at."
"It's that one you got for grad night and then you got sick and couldn't go!"
"Mina, Mina I can't wear that! That's actual vintage, not like, made-to-look-vintage!"
"But it's so elegant and has that off-the-shoulder sleeve thing. The wedding is at a damn sky lodge! It'll look so pretty in the snow! Ah! Found it!"
She yanked up the long, elegant gown from the garment bag you'd never removed it from. There wasn't a single wrinkle in the burgundy fabric. It looked just as beautiful as the day you found it in that second-hand store, on a mannequin with gaudy stage jewels that you just had to buy so the look was complete.
You ran the back of your hand over the velvety fabric, soft to the touch. "It'll be too tight now. If I was the same size I was at graduation-"
"Bullshit!" Mina cut you off with a dismissive hand, "You've got hips now. We aren't 18 anymore! It's not like it's some clubbing dress. And I bet no one would say a damn thing about your figure if they knew how easily you could crush them with those thighs!"
A smirk tugged at the corner of your lips. Without quirks, you gave every single one of your classmates a run for their money in hand to hand. Most were fairly easy to beat. You could usually take down Eijiro in about five or six minutes and Katsuki in half the time. Funny enough, it was Ochaco that gave you the hardest time.
"I'll consider it. But help me find something else just in case."
>>><<<
It was another two hours before you finally agreed on an a-line, empire waist green and gold number that had been the bridesmaid's dresses for Tetsutetsu's wedding. Mina thought they were a crime the first time they had to wear them, she had no idea what you were thinking.
That's why the moment you were preoccupied with trying to find yet another dress for the Sunday brunch, Mina pulled out her phone.
You: DO NOT, under any circumstances, allow Y/N to wear the green dress. She's bringing two because she can't decide. Red is the winner!
Jaws: Aw, come on. If she likes it, let her wear whatever she's comfortable in. She'll be under enough stress already.
You: Kirishima, it's the dress from Tetsu's wedding. The one that looks sparkly baby food.
It took him a second to respond.
Jaws: Alright. Understood. I thought you guys looked good but damn, she hated that dress.
You: We all did.
Mina looked at the message chain again and couldn't help but asked, "Are we just gonna ignore the fact that you and Eiji are flying all the way to America, last minute, to attend a wedding together, even though you're not together?"
"We've flown to the states before."
"For work!" She sat up eagerly. "This is different, Y/N! This is a date and not just a, like, casual date but a wedding date!"
You poked your head out of the closet. "No, it isn't. This is a friend helping another friend who stupidly mismarked an RSVP." You corrected very plainly but Mina wasn't one to give up so easily.
She whined, dragging out your name, "You guys have been doing this thing for ages. Why do you have to be so stubborn about it all!"
"What's that supposed to mean!"
Mina started ticking off points on her fingers. "He was the first person you opened up to at UA. You saved his life when he was busy saving Katsuki's life second year. You spent all that time interning together, became sidekicks together. Went to America together for three whole months, ALONE, and you honestly expect me to think there's nothing between the two of you!"
The truth of it all was simple really; 17 year old you had a massive crush on Eijiro Kirishima. He was sweet, always listening to you, providing comfort when you needed it, and always encouraging you to push your limits. He was bright and honest, a little slow in the head from time to time but that made him all the more endearing.
He was also head over heels in love with Katsuki Bakugo.
It was why you never made a move. Never spoke a word of the feelings you harbored. You didn't dare to cross that line with him because you couldn't ever hold a candle to the explosive man.
In the three years Eijiro and Katsuki spent together, your brain finally started registering Eijiro as just a friend, nothing more, and certainly nothing less. You thought your heart had followed suit but it was becoming more and more apparent that wasn't the case. Because the night he showed up at your door, tears in his ruby eyes, every lock you put on your heart broke open.
The same way you couldn't hold a candle to Katsuki, Eijiro couldn't hold one to Izuku. You knew exactly what he was feeling even if you never intended to tell him. Too overcome with fear. If Katsuki came back... that'd be it. Eijiro would go back and you wouldn't even blame him!
Still, the redhead consumed a decent chunk of your heart though, you couldn't deny that after the three months you spent together in America, gathering intel on a smuggling ring, living in the same apartment. The groggy, 'good mornings' when his voice was still scratchy with sleep, hair falling in his eyes. The late nights bandaging wounds and killing cheap bottles of wine while watching terrible American reality shows.
It was those bottles of wine that did you in on your second to last night in America. Supplying you with courage and draining your sense of reason, allowing you to crawl onto his lap, into his arms. You could still remember the pressure of his lips on yours, those sharp teeth gently dragging along your lower lip.
Scared hands tracing the curve of your ass before taking handfuls to squeeze. The laugh that came from you was unlike anything you heard before, something so genuine that you couldn't reproduce.
How it felt when he lifted you up and took you to his bed, laying you down taking his time removing your clothes, and watching with awe as you pulled away his own. The way he looked over top of you, his hair a curtain of red around you just before you closed your eyes, gasping while he filled you.
You also remembered the guilt that crept into your head during the wee hours of the morning, the doubt that was louder than the snores coming from behind you.
It made you slip from under his massive arm, gather up your clothes from his floor, you tucked the blanket around him, and pressed a kiss to his temple before padding out of the room.
You told yourself you'd talk to him about it if he brought it up, but he never did. Not the next morning, or night, not on the plane ride back home, nor anytime since. It was a memory you'd hold close to your heart, one you wouldn't let slip away or share.
"There's nothing there, Mina. We're just good friends is all." You lied with a smile on your face, something that had become surprisingly easy to do.
If only you knew that Mina saw right through it. That Mina already knew the truth of it all.
>>><<<
It was nearly one in the morning when your phone rang. The goofy picture of Eijiro with face half painted at a festival a few years back never failed to make you grin.
"It's a little late." You answered by way of greeting.
"Don't pretend like you were anywhere close to sleeping, you little night owl."
Chuckling at the nickname that had followed you since high school, "What's up, Eiji?"
"I was going over flights. You said in the office that you wanted to leave on Friday?"
"Yeah. I have patrol tomorrow and I didn't find any flights after 6 PM so, Friday is the earliest."
He was quiet on the other line for a moment. "Yeah, you don't have patrol tomorrow, or work at all for that matter."
You sat up a bit straighter in bed. "Um, yes I do."
"No, you don't. I called Mina, asked her if you'd mind taking that shift for you and, since she knows what's happening, she agreed the extra day for travel would do you some good. So, she's covering you tomorrow then you're off work until next Wednesday. As for me, thanks to all that overtime I put in when Denki, Kyoka, and Hitoshi got married, the three of them are splitting up my days so I have until Wednesday too."
Eijiro sounded impossibly proud on the other line, you could almost see the smirk on his face. "You've got this all planned out, don't you?"
"And a bag nearly packed. Just need you to tell me what ties to bring."
"Gold, burgundy, and black."
"Thought your mom said no black for you?"
"She said no black for the wedding. She said nothing about black at the brunch!"
You couldn't wait to put on the tea-length dress that had been a favorite for years. Satin with a lacy top and, best of all, pockets.
He let out a rumbling laugh that fell off into comfortable silence as you laid back in your bed, lights still on, the room still a mess. You tapped the speaker icon and laid the phone on the pillow right beside your head, listing to the various sounds of Eijiro moving around.
A door creaking open, a hanger clattering against another, and a zipper. "And just like that, I'm all set."
"Don't forget your passport or hero license."
"I have one in my wallet and the other in my backpack."
You swiped up on your iPad, off Netflix, and going to google, lazily searching through flights. "So, did you find any good flights since you've clearly been looking?"
Another chuckle, "Eijiro, why are you laughing?" More stifled giggles had you sitting up in bed again. "Just tell me a site you were on. They're just flights, what's so funny?"
"There isn't a site."
"You said you were checking flights."
"And I was... on my family's jet."
"Eiji! No! No, no, no! That is supposed to be for their business or hero things! My stupid cousin's wedding is neither of those things!"
"Relax, Y/N. My family has multiple and they don't have any business trips planned right now anyways. I already cleared it with my mom. Seriously, I just mention your name and she's likely to let me have it for a whole year at least. Plus Todoroki's is back up in working order so the agency is covered too."
Damn, why'd he have to be so good at planning from time to time! You'd completely forgotten about the second jet his family had. Always opting for the larger one since the few missions they needed it for required them to bring fifty or so heroes along.
"Besides, if we fly private, we can land at an airstrip closer to the venue and won't need to drive four hours on top of a ten-hour flight."
"Alright, okay, thank you but, let me take care of the rental car, please. It's the least you can let me do."
"Deal. I just have one more question for ya."
"What's that?"
"Wanna leave tonight?"
You nearly dropped your damn iPad in shock. "Eijiro! What the fuck has gotten into you! It's the middle of the night!"
"I'm excited!" He boomed, "I haven't had a vacation in months!"
"I hate to break this to you, buddy, but this isn't going to be a vacation. You really shouldn't get your hopes up. This isn't going to be a good time with laughs and fun memories... my family, they just, they aren't those kinds of people."
"But we are." He stated matter-of-factly. "If they want to have sticks up their asses then let them! We'll have a good time on our own, laugh and make fun memories! So, what do you say, Y/N? I can be at your place in fifteen. I just gotta put shoes on and grab my keys..."
"Wait, hang on. Are you forgetting that we need someone to, oh, I dunno, FLY THE PLANE! Actually, we need two someone's, can't forget about a co-pilot!"
He hummed happily and you rubbed your temples. "You, you have a pilot and a co, don't you, Eiji?"
"Mhm! There is a company we use. Two can be at the hanger in an hour and every hour after that. I just have to make the call and get the flight plan approved which will be done before I even get to your house."
There was literally no reason to say no. You had mostly everything packed, nothing you needed to get from the store, all you had to do was put on pants and pack up your hygiene bag and you were ready too. Maybe getting there quicker and getting the whole thing over with would be better than staying home dwelling on everything.
"Better put your shoes on."
The glee in his voice, that was enough to make this whole thing worth it, "I'll see you soon."
>>><<<
Eijiro reached into the backseat and plopped a bag down on your lap the very moment you were buckled in. "Had to make a pit stop." He explained.
"It's after two in the morning, where'd you have to..."
"Just open the bag and don't complain."
You found it filled to the brim with all your favorite snacks.
"I'm sure the plane will have a bunch of snacks we can raid but I know for a fact they don't have these." He held up a pack of cookies and creme flavored pocky that had been his favorite for as long as you'd known him, quickly followed by your favorite flavor too. You also found a massive bag of gummy worms and jolly ranchers.
"So, what you're telling me is our teeth are going to rot by the time we land? Not that I'm complaining."
You ripped open the bag of ranchers knowing that was what he'd go for first and sure enough his hand dove inside just as he pulled away from the curb. You could hear his dangerously sharp teeth biting through the rock candy like it was nothing while you still rolled one around your mouth.
Eijiro asked you about the resort you'd be going to, wondering if you'd been there before or what other stuff you guys could do when you weren't dealing with your family. "I figured we could fly back Monday night or Tuesday morning, you know, just play it by ear in case there was anything else we wanted to do."
More than anything, you wished you could just leech a little bit of that excitement from him. The glimpses of his smile you caught as you drove under the street lights made your heart ache.
"What?" He asked with that wide smile of his. You'd been caught staring, red-handed.
"I, uh, I just don't know what to tell you."
You could see the subtle change of his grin, watch as it softened and his hand came to rest on your thigh. "Hey, it's gonna be fine! And if we run into them while out doing stuff, you can just avoid them or hide behind me!" At least hiding behind Eijiro is an easy thing to do, damn mountain of a man.
His thumb slowly brushed back and forth. "'S gonna be okay. I'll beat 'em up if they're assholes!"
You snickered at his Katsuki impression and let the drone of the radio fill the air around you both. Enjoying the silence the rest of the way to the hanger with Eijiro's hand atop your leg.

Chris’ P.O.V.
“C’mon, sweetheart,” I’d been trying to convince her to close her laptop for the last two hours, unfortunately without any luck. She just glanced at me before returning to her document, and I groaned as I left the living room in search of what I knew we needed.
“Close the laptop and I’ll give you a sip.” This time when she looked up, she found me holding a bottle of my most expensive whiskey, the one she’d been dying to try ever since she first got invited to my place.
It was a tense moment of evaluation while she took in my offer and her workload, her head turning from her computer to me and then back to the device again, and I found himself growing anxious because of how desperately I wanted her company that night.
“Please?” I tried to convince her, even going so far as to pout - which at least earned me a giggle. I considered it a win, especially with the way it made my chest warm up. “C’mon, we deserve it! After the week we had?”
She frowned when she thought back on the stresses we had confided in each other for the last couple of days, and I watched with glee when she slowly closed her laptop, prompting me to wave my arms around in victory. “We?” She teased, getting up to stand before me with her arms crossed in front of her body, making me laugh.
“Alright, so maybe just you.” I couldn’t really deny that my work “problems” paled in comparison to hers. “Listen, I’m only trying to help.” She narrowed her eyes at me, reaching out for the bottle and unscrewing it before taking the sip I’d promised.
“Shit, this really is good.” A smug smile took over my face as I wrapped my arms around her, walking us back to the couch before making us fall over it.
“Only the best for you, babe.” I watched her roll her eyes at the pet name, snickering at how it affected her. I knew it made her giddy and she hated it, it’s why I insisted on doing it - or so I told myself.
Something deep inside of me whispered differently, though. I tried to ignore it. She was my best friend and we were going to be living together for the foreseeable future. No one knew when this pandemic would let up.
And lord knows that nothing positive had ever come out of my investments in romantic relationships. So every rational thought in my mind was begging me not to overcomplicate this. I couldn’t stand to lose her friendship, anyway. That’s why I had invited her to spend lockdown with me - my need to know she was okay, and be able to have her around whenever I needed to vent.
She was the only one outside my family who got my anxiety well enough to help me work through it when I was feeling bad, and she had even been able to prevent me from having panic attacks more than once.
I just couldn’t imagine going through this with anyone other than her. I simply hadn’t anticipated how fucking horny this period of forced sexual privation would make me, and I never expected her to become a willing victim to my needs.
But boy, once the liquor hit and she ended up over my lap, shivering as she rode my thigh without a care in the world, was I glad that she did.
“Is this what you like?” I asked, looking up at her with my mouth hanging open, unbelieving of how fucking sexy she looked as she used my body for her pleasure. I didn’t even care that my cock was straining against my jeans, begging me to move her on top of it. As long as I could keep enjoying the show, being a part of it, I was satisfied.
“I wanna learn it,” I pressed, moving my hands to hold her ass, squeezing it the way I’d always wanted to do but never allowed myself to dream about. “I wanna learn how to please you.” She made me feel something I hadn’t felt before, in any of my past relationships. There was attraction, of course, but there was also this deep, familiar feeling that made me feel at home. It made me feel safe, and with the help of alcohol, I was desperate to explore it.
“Ugh,” she groaned, letting her head fall back, drawing my attention to her breasts, the way they bounced in front of my eyes, unfortunately still covered. My mouth watered at the sight of it, wanting nothing much than to strip her bare and wrap my lips around one of her nipples.
“Don’t say stuff like that, Evans.” The comment threw me off, making me frown as I took a hold of the hair on the back of her head and yanked her to me, devouring her lips. They were soft - so much softer than I’d ever allowed myself to imagine.
“Why not?” I panted against her mouth once I was forced to separate from her taste of whiskey to search for some oxygen. She kept moving, her eyes hazy and glossed over, and it sent a pang of lust straight down my body when I realized it wasn’t completely due to the drinks we shared. There was also desire in there.
“You want to learn?” She asked, hands bunching up my shirt as she used her hold to grind against me faster. “Then fuck me, Chris.” She molded her body to mine, engulfing my lips once more as I laid her down on the couch, excited to have her underneath me - excited to see her naked body, explore it, get to know every little thing that made her tick.
I knew it would be a moment I’d forever remember, regardless of the amount of bourbon in my blood. I just never expected it to become something I was so eager to relive over and over and over again.
It was supposed to be a one time thing. When I woke up in the morning, I was ready to go back to being roommates. We were good at that. She was a morning person, by the time I woke up every morning, she already had breakfast ready for me, and then we’d go out to the backyard to let Dodger out together.
We’d sit and talk and then I’d go for a run - she’d have done her yoga already, while I was still asleep - I’d answer some e-mails, she’d work on her laptop by my side and the silence was just as comfortable as all of our late night conversations.
She’d sneak out to the kitchen and come back with a few sandwiches for our lunch, and then the rest of the day would go by with us doing whatever mundane task we had in mind, together even if we were doing separate things, and I didn’t feel suffocated.
I didn’t even run out of things to say. By the time dinner rolled around and I followed her back to the kitchen, cleaning up the dishes while she fixed us dinner - I wasn’t allowed to cook in my own stove, mostly because she was terrified of my food but hid it under the excuse of that one time when I started a fire - then we’d eat together, watch a movie together, talk until we fell asleep - always together.
I was shocked. It’d never been this way in any of my previous relationships. In fact, I was certain it was the reason why they had never worked. I’d given up on any realistic expectation of settling down precisely because of this: I just never expected to find anyone with whom a day-to-day life wouldn’t eventually grow boring.
It’d been three months and I still loved to wake up to her coffee. We still fell asleep every night side by side, too tired to move into different beds because we had laughed our asses off after skyping Scott.
And now that sex came into play in our relationship? I just knew there was no way I’d ever go back to being nothing but friends - or living in a place where she wasn’t the first person I saw when I woke up.
It sucked that it took a pandemic and a night of alcohol to make me realize that, but damn, was I grateful that I decided to open a bottle of whiskey that evening.
I kept waiting for the catch, the moment it would all go to shit, but it never came. Our lives resumed to how they used to be, only now I had this ongoing inner battle to not just bend her over the nearest piece of furniture when we were busy, and the ability to do exactly that whenever there was nothing else to do.
And for a while it was bliss. There wasn’t a nagging voice inside my head questioning this arrangement because it was theoretically perfect. I had a best friend, a roommate and a fuck buddy, all wrapped into one single person that I adored.
Life couldn’t possibly get better - until I realized that I wanted more. Talks of lockdown being over started and she had plans of going back to her place, of course, but I couldn’t stand the thought of being away from her.
I wanted to see my family too, but I wanted to take her with me. Introduce her to my mom, see her get along with my sisters. Witness how she’d be with my nephews and nieces - I knew how much she loved kids. And that’s when it hit me.
I’d given my heart to her. Somewhere between the morning coffees and afternoon runs, the nights where I’d rant about all of my silly problems and she actually listened to them - really listened, never making me feel bad about what could only be described as rich people problems.
All the innocent little gestures, and the not so innocent ones - when I discovered she was exactly the nasty slut I’d always dreamed of, the way she would randomly drop to her knees and suck me off, even while I was on the phone. Most times she didn’t even let me repay the favor. She just genuinely liked to blow me.
She also liked to play with me randomly, like when we were watching a movie and she mindlessly reached for my crotch, rubbing me until I got hard. It almost always ended in sex, and I just loved it.
I loved it, and I loved her, and the idea of her ever sharing this idyllic lifestyle with anyone else made me irrationally jealous.
And that’s how I knew it. I didn’t want to mess it up. But how could I not fuck this up?
Xxx
“Chris…” Her sweet voice called out to me, reaching my ears while I was hiding in my office, trying to get my thoughts in order so I wouldn’t just randomly blurt out what I was feeling for my best friend to my best friend.
To her credit, she didn’t try to force me to keep her company - but that only made me fall even deeper for her, leaving me a complete and utter mess while she went about her day as if nothing was wrong in the world.
“Yes?” I looked up to see her by the threshold, clearly reticent about invading my privacy. It made me smile, thinking back on all of the times my exes hadn’t been as understanding, even after I let them clearly know what I was needing.
“I made cupcakes, do you want me to bring you one?” The thought of her in the kitchen, baking a sweet treat just for me had my cock twitching in my pants. Biting my lips, I pushed away from my desk to finally get up and stretch my legs, taking advantage of the monitor to hide my hard-on.
“No, I’ll come eat them downstairs with you.” She smiled before leaving, and I soon trailed after her, walking into the kitchen to find the most delicious-looking little treats, just waiting to be devoured.
Much like her, I supposed.
I was reaching for one of them, already licking my lips in anticipation when something caught my eye, prompting me to raise my gaze and look at her again, but really look at her this time.
She was wearing an apron.
There was nothing inherently sexual about the damn thing, but the way she looked with it, going about her business in my kitchen like she owned the place… It just felt right, seeing her there.
And suddenly I couldn’t hold back anymore.
“Y/N…” I started, leaving the cupcake back on the counter and brushing off the crumbs as I circled the kitchen island to go stand in front of her. She hummed before turning to meet me, smiling slightly to signal that she was listening to what I had to say.
But I didn’t know how to say it. So we just stood there, staring at each other until eventually her smile became a frown. “Chris, what’s going on?” I still couldn’t speak. Much to my absolute surprise though, she just sighed, wiping her hands on the apron while shaking her head, a knowing smile on her face.
“You’re stressed, aren’t you? You’ve been working so much, that’s why I thought the cupcakes would be a good idea,” she explained nodding towards the tray where her sweet treats laid. “They’re a reward and a break all wrapped in one delicious cake.”
The comment was like a punch to the stomach - or a scalding wave of desire rushing through my body, straight to my groin. The idea of her thinking about my needs and catering (quite literally) to them just did something to me, and I didn’t know how to explain it - I don’t think I understood it myself.
“But since they didn’t work…” she continued, blissfully unaware of the conundrum she had put me into. “I know something else that will definitely work.” And just like that, the woman dropped to her knees in front of me, reaching for my sweatpants before I could find a way to close the mouth that was hanging open.
“I guess I’ll grab a sweet treat for myself.” She looked so devious, small hand encircling my already pathetically engorged member, that all I could do was whisper an, “Oh, shit,” when she immediately wrapped her lips around it,  starting to suck me off without any preamble.
My fingers were white as I held onto the counter behind me to keep myself up. She looked so good, staring up at me with her lips wrapped around my dick, I felt like I was about to blow already.
Why did she have to be such a fucking tease?
“Oh, God,” I moaned when she managed to engulf the entirety of my member inside her throat, the choking noises getting to my head. My hand instinctively laced with her hair, first to hold her lips close to my navel, then to pry her completely off of my member.
“What’s wrong?” She questioned once she was able to speak, surprise written all over her features while I was still staring down at her slightly teary face and trying to find my voice.
“I-I have a problem.” There. I said it. I had finally made some progress in my goal to let her know what was going through my head. Only instead of curiosity, what I got was a confused expression from the woman still holding my dick, her eyes darting from my own to the member throbbing between her fingers.
“No, you don’t!” It would have been funny if I wasn’t so fucking frustrated. Yanking her by the hair, I complained, “Not that kind of problem!” pulling her to the living room so I could throw her on the couch, trying to ignore her moans of pleasure in the process.
I’d figured out pretty early on that she had a pretty serious hair-pulling kink, and if my plans of sitting down and having a level-headed conversation were ever in motion, they surely went out of the window the second she pulled my body down to cover hers and adjusted my cock so it would easily fill her.
“Son of a…” I groaned, letting my head fall down against her chest as the little vixen gleefully giggled underneath me, legs wrapped around my torso as she tried to thrust up and tempt me to move.
“Just wait a second,” I managed to reason, but she just shook her head.
“Fuck away your problem, Chris. Use me. I want you to.” Motherfucker. I really couldn’t catch a break with her. Just as she started to make me move again, my hand instinctively wrapped around her neck, lightly squeezing it just enough to get her to shut up.
“I wanna start a family with you,” I finally spilled, looking deep into her eyes as I tried to ignore that I was still balls deep inside of her. Her eyes widened, and now her mouth was the one hanging open.
I couldn’t really relish in it because she looked absolutely delicious and she felt stupidly heavenly to my throbbing dick.
A few seconds went by without as much of a reaction from her and I was about to pull out - despite still being achingly hard - but her legs held me tighter, stopping my plans of leaving her tight haven.
“You know…” She started to speak, a little out of breath, catching my attention as I finally gathered the courage to look her in the eye again. “When I first met you, I thought you were the epitome of a fuckboy.”
The unexpected sentence had me snorting, and then I just couldn’t stop laughing. Finally pulling away from her, she fixed her hair when she sat up and I did the same, shaking my head slightly as I rubbed my eyes.
Our own relative nakedness - well… mine, she was wearing her usual dress with no underwear under the damn apron - didn’t affect anything when I pondered over her words, until I decided to break the silence.
“I mean… I think I was?” She chewed on her bottom lip as she took in my response, analyzing it, weighing its validity in that gorgeous head of hers. I was nervous, but she hadn’t blew me off yet. And quite honestly? I’d do anything for that little hope that was growing inside of me.
“What changed?” Was her question, so unexpected I couldn’t help but question, “Huh?”
“What made you change?” It wasn’t an unwelcome inquiry, especially when the response became clear to me, lighting up my brain and warming my chest, spreading all over my body until I had no choice but to voice it.
“I realized I could have a future with you.” My smile was vulnerable but honest, and in her eyes, I could see that she knew that. When she threw one leg over my lap, straddling my hips, I allowed myself to breathe deeply again, leaning on the soft cushion while taking a hold of her ass.
“So, how are we gonna do this?” She non-nonchalantly asked, slowly rubbing herself against my still half-hard member. I groaned when I realized the implication of her words, knowing that the meaning paired with the feeling of her wet lips dragging along my cock would get it back up in no time at all. “You wanna do me right now?”
The brashness of the question made my eyes light up, as weird as it may sound. In that moment, it became clear just how perfect for me she really was, giving me what I needed exactly in the way I didn’t know how to ask for it.
“See? This is why I’m in love with you.” She rolled her eyes at that, making me laugh. I’d anticipated the gesture, I knew it’d take her longer to say it, but it was alright. The fact that she was willing me to give me a child was more than enough proof of her feelings for me, if her entire behavior ever since she moved in wasn’t already.
“Shut up and fuck me, Evans.” Throwing her back against the couch, she yelped in surprise when I took off my shirt and slapped the inside of her thigh, assuming my usual position of hovering over her smaller frame.
“Spread your fucking legs, darling. I’m gonna fuck you real good.” The way she bit her lip as I slowly penetrated her again showed me just how excited the prospect got her, and as I started to make good on my promise, her moans told me just as much.
“Holy fuck,” she commented as I pounded her ruthlessly, weeks of frustration and the rush of anticipation getting the best of me, and I was glad for the feeling of her nails biting into my skin because otherwise, I’d probably run over the edge of not even caring about her own pleasure as I chased mine.
“You gonna cum inside of me, honey? Make me a mom? Finally fulfill your dream of becoming a daddy?” Her words detracted me from my task of sucking bruises on the skin that was now mine to bruise, mine. I threw my head back, yelling a, “fuck yes,” as my hips sped up, desperate to fill her up, but I was determined to get her to cum before me.
“Say it,” she ordered, small hand circling my throat as best as she could, a throwback to what I’d done only moments prior. It wasn’t enough to choke me, but it did catch my attention. “I wanna hear you say it.”
Tears escaped the corners of my eyes as I blinked, the intensity of the moment overwhelming in the best of ways. “God, you are such a fucking tease…” She chuckled underneath me, giving my throat a squeeze before she raised up on her elbows to kiss my jaw.
“Better get used to it… daddy.” And just like that, I realized that I had yet another kink I hadn’t known about before her. Or maybe it was just her, and I was obsessed with the damn woman, painfully turned on by every little thing that she did.
“I’m gonna cum deep inside your little pussy, sweetheart,” I finally gathered myself enough to do as she asked me to. “You’re gonna belong to me forever now. Give me kids, make me happy. How do you like that?”
The mischievous grin she gave me told me everything. “I love it.” I knew this was her way of saying what she couldn’t yet voice, and I’d take it. I’d take anything she gave me, any chance I got to love this wonderful woman.
We came together, both riding our highs in deep ecstasy. I moaned when I felt myself empty all of my seed inside of her, incredibly excited about the prospect of starting our future together right then.
“You’re so fucking beautiful.” I cradled her face in my hands as I struggled to catch my breath, but she turned it to the side and pressed a kiss to my palm and I was breathless all over again. It was such a simple action, why did it get to me so much?
“You’re not too bad yourself, Chris.” I didn’t want to part with her warmth, so I just adjusted us on the sofa in a way that kept me inside of her, sighing contently as I realized I’d never have to sleep away from her again.
“I’m gonna stay right here all night.” I adjusted myself so I was resting my face on her boobs, perfectly happy to do just so, but by the tone of her voice, I knew she had a teasing smile when she called me an, “Old man.”
“And here I was, thinking you’d be able to go again.” Warmth filled my chest at the realization of just how badly she wanted me - just as much as I wanted her too. I was so damn ecstatic. Not even her pokes at my age would be able to affect me.
“Oh, darling… better get ready,” I warned as I adjusted myself to hover over her again, taking notice of the excited glint in her eyes, the way she bit her lip as she stared back at me. “I’m never gonna get enough of you.”
The next morning, I added a new kink to the list of random bits of information that were driving me slowly insane as I felt the overwhelming need to bend the woman that I now got to call ‘mine’ over the nearest piece of furniture and rail her until I had cummed deep inside her pussy: seeing her in my shirt while cooking breakfast.
Yeah, I was going to live a happy life by her side.

Enemies to Lovers!Jeonghan
Tumblr media
MASTERLIST
One day I will come up with titles for my works lol.
Hi Hannah!!!! Thanks for requesting! I loved doing this one! I went ahead and went with Jeonghan cuz I feel like he fits this trope best! Sorry you had to wait so long, this particular fic got deleted like... three times so it was a struggle lol. I hope it’s what you were looking for!
I hope this is a good one, I’m realizing I get real insecure about my writing anytime I’m not doing a bulletpoint or reaction fic, so I don’t feel great about this time. Also I only started recently putting actual detail into my kiss scenes and idk how I’m doing with those???? Like do they seem ok??? Also I feel like I make it so obvious that I am such a sucker for SVT having cute nicknames for siblings, friends, partners, etc in fics lol. Anyways...
Also, I really said: Jeonghan... but in different types of lighting
Remember I don’t own the gif! Link to OP is right there if you want to go give the creator some love!!!
Word Count: 5.2k
Warnings: Mentions eating, reader is using female pronouns (I will keep things gn unless you request differently), I think that’s it, pls let me know if I missed any
Tumblr media
You’re not sure exactly how it happened. It was probably just an instance of getting off on the wrong foot, that led to more awkward interactions, giving both of you the wrong impression of each other. You knew this, you could rationalize it all. You were well aware that all it would take was one “I think we might have the wrong idea of each other” conversation and it would all be over. You could easily fix it all, but…
But his stupid smug face. The sarcastic jokes. The never-ending pranks that were not as funny as he thought they were. His ridiculous arrogance. His overall unapologetic nature towards all of it.
You couldn’t help but hate Yoon Jeonghan.
*****
“I don’t know, Wonnie…” you say uneasily over the phone. In previous years, you’d go over to the dorm without hesitation. You loved spending time with your brother and many of the other boys. But ever since you had officially met and begun interacting with Jeonghan…
“C’mon, [Y/N]! I bought that new game you were talking about! We can play it together on my gaming system!” Wonwoo began to persuade. You knew you’d give in; you always did. Your brother was far too sweet a person and far too comforting a presence to reject. The question was how long did you want to argue with him about going to the dorm.
You sighed, accepting defeat early to save time, “I’ll head over there in a bit.”
Wonwoo gives a small cry of victory, “Ok, I’ll have Gyu make extra ramen.” Wonwoo abruptly hangs up the phone right after, leaving you in silence to groan in regret of your decision.
You immediately straighten yourself out, though, trying to put yourself in a mindset of determination. What were you thinking? Just because you and that asshole didn’t get along meant you couldn’t go see your own twin brother without feeling uncomfortable? Screw that! If he wanted to keep the peace then he was going to have to start watching where he stepped around you.
*****
You knocked loud and clear on the door of their dorm, knowing that with thirteen people living inside, it was usually too noisy for them to hear someone signal their arrival. To your relief, Seungcheol opened the door just moments after you knocked and greeted you with a warm smile followed by a hand sneaking into your hair to ruffle it, “Hey there, kiddo! How’s it hanging?”
“Just fine,” you tilt your head down slightly in his direction as you pass him to enter the dorm. “How are things here?” As soon as you ask, your ears are met with the noise of someone dropping something in the kitchen, followed by Seungkwan crying in alarm.
“Same as always, I supposed,” Seungcheol sighs, but his smile doesn’t fade. “I think Mingyu and Wonwoo are already in the computer room, if you want to go ahead and see them!”
“Ok, thanks Cheol!” you call as you both rush off in different directions, him towards the kitchen and you towards the small room that would provide you solace from the possibility of having to see Yoon Jeonghan.
You were determined not to let things go how they usually did: you with your mouth clamped shut as Jeonghan spoke whatever teasing words he had saved up for you, and the most you can do to fight back is by rolling your eyes and finding any way to get away from him.
This time, you would still avoid contact with him, but if it happened, you’d speak your mind and not care what he thought, since that’s how he treated you.
But there was no sign of him or anyone else as you walked to the computer room. You could hear Mingyu and Wonwoo yelling and cheering at the game long before you opened the door. It was pitch black inside, the piercing light of the screen making you squint your eyes.
The two men inside both turn immediately to check who offended their dark space with the soft, yellow light from the hallway.
“Oh [Y/N], you came!” Mingyu beams up at you. You nod, matching his bright expression.
“How’s the game?” you ask simply, looking up to your brother.
“We like it so far,” Wonwoo’s smile is wide, he always gets excited about new games, whether they’re good or not. He leans over to grab a can of some sort of energy drink before gulping it down. “We left some ramen for you over there on the table. Eat first, then I’ll let you have a turn.”
You roll your eyes, though Wonwoo was only mere minutes older than you, he found those moments to be enough leverage to order you around and act like you should be dependent on his care. There were times when he even referred to himself as “oppa” to you and insisted that you do the same.
Most of the time you let it slide, especially when you weren’t in the mood to argue. However, there were times when you’d pull out the “We’re the same age,” “Even if you’re older, I’m smarter,” or “Don’t boss me around when I’m more mature than you” cards at the drop of a hat.
“Can you at least turn on the LEDs while I eat?” you ask, tip-toeing in the darkness towards the table at the back end of the room. You hear a click before a soft blue glow fills the room, finally giving you a clear view of your path. You pull the bowl of ramen towards you as you sit and resist the urge to comment on how little they left you. The dorm was filled with food anyways, you could find more later if you got hungry again.
Wonwoo and Mingyu begin to eagerly tell you what they like about the game as you eat. You listen happily, feeling safe in the presence of your brother and friend.
Then of course…
“Hey you two, Cheol wanted me to remind you that we have to get up early tomorrow,” you can’t help the sour expression that comes over your face as Jeonghan enters the room to speak to Wonwoo and Mingyu. “Oh, hey there cutie, I didn’t know you were here!” His smirk makes you sick.
“Don’t call me that,” you say bitterly into the nearly empty bowl.
Wonwoo looks nervously between you and his bandmate, well aware of the dislike you have for him. He’s grateful that you’ve always kept it so civil, but still feels bothered by the unrest between you.
Jeonghan lets out a little giggle in response, and Wonwoo feels a tug in the pit of his stomach, he wishes Jeonghan wouldn’t be so hard on you sometimes. He knows his hyung doesn’t mean anything by it, but you…
You feel your heart sink as Jeonghan steps fully into the room, striding to sit across from you at the table. You can only stare in wonder at his audacity as he slides the bowl towards himself and finishes off the ramen in one bite.
“I was eating that,” you try to keep your tone measured, attempting to keep within the balance of standing up for yourself but not starting any drama that would affect the boys.
“Go make more if you’re hungry, then,” Jeonghan says casually, making your anger positively flare.
You don’t even give your brother the chance to mediate, jumping up from your place and leaving the room, wanting to be anywhere but around that prick.
*****
“You’re leaving already?” Mingyu pouts at you.
“Gyu, I’ve been here for hours,” you laugh, stretching out your fingers as they start to prick from pain of slamming into a keyboard for so long. You had returned to the computer room but only after Jeonghan left. Part of you had wished you had done more to confront him; another part was glad you didn’t start a fight and put Wonwoo in an awkward position. “Besides all of you, as well as me have to get up early tomorrow, it’s already late. I need to get back home.”
“You can stay here,” Wonwoo was quick to offer.
You shook your head at him, “Then I’ll just have to get up even earlier, I’ll go back to my place.” Wonwoo nods almost reluctantly, standing to walk you out.
All of you run into Joshua on your way to the front door, he turns out to be the only one smart enough to ask how you got there.
“Oh, I took the bus,” you say slowly, knowing this is about to cause issues.
“Well, the last one would have already stopped running by now,” Mingyu says looking at the time on his phone.
“I’ll give you a ride,” Josh offers immediately.
You bring your hands up to shake them back and forth, “No, no, I can find a way home, you all need to go to bed.”
“[Y/N],” Wonwoo speaks up immediately in that stern voice you hate but also can’t help but listen to, “let Josh take you home. It’s either that or you stay here, I won’t have you walking around alone at night.” Wonwoo waits a moment to gauge your expression. He finally nods affirmatively, before speaking directly to Joshua, “Take her home, please.”
Joshua nods before walking off to grab his keys. You and Wonwoo send Mingyu off to bed. Once you’re alone, your brother pulls you in for a tight hug. “Do you want me to say something to him?” he asks lowly.
You shake your head, “I don’t want to cause any problems with you guys.” You sit in silence for a moment. “Come and stay over with me sometime, I miss our sleepovers.”
Joshua comes back and Wonwoo pulls away, “Thanks, hyung. Please get her home safe.” For the second time that night, your hair gets ruffled before your brother disappears to go off to bed.
The ride home with Joshua is comfortable. He speaks kindly to you and makes you smile.
You begin to wonder how amongst all these angels, there exists a person like Yoon Jeonghan.
*****
Wonwoo used the new game as leverage to guilt you into coming over quite often in the following weeks. You hadn’t realized how much you had limited your time at the dorm until you started going consistently once more. It was nice being able to spend time with the boys again. You hated that Jeonghan had become such an unbearable presence that it affected your relationship with the rest of your friends.
But ever since you had started to stand your ground and talk back, he had finally begun to avoid you. You supposed it was only fun for him when you sat there and took it.
It didn’t stop the two of you from bickering when you saw each other, but now both of you preferred to avoid each other instead of Jeonghan seeking you out to tease you.
The following weeks of visiting were fairly comfortable. Whenever Jeonghan wasn’t around, you got to spend plenty of time with the other boys and your brother. Plus, the new video game was even better than expected.
Jeonghan’s presence slowly became uncomfortable in a different way.
Instead of being smug and overbearing, he became strangely quiet around you. His facial expressions became more serious as he sent genuine glares your way before letting out bitter remarks and going on his way.
It made you even angrier.
Who the hell was he to torture you all this time and then act like a kicked puppy when you finally fought back???
Your anger and his bitterness slowly escalated the tension between you two. Although they were happening less frequently, the arguments between you became more serious and almost hurtful.
Whatever, you told yourself, he could do as he pleased, you wouldn’t let it affect you anymore.
*****
You stared down at your phone screen. Why? Why did it have to be here, while you were at the dorm?
The call was only five minutes. They didn’t even do it in person. Of course, they had warned that because of hard times, there’d be lay-offs soon. But they couldn’t even do it in person? And all you got was a simple “Sorry, come collect your things on Monday”??? You were a hard worker, passionate about the job, more efficient than most of your coworkers and this is how they treated you???
A part of you could’ve guessed, many of the employees your age had gotten in because of nepotism. But you didn’t want to believe that they’d just brush off all your years of hard work just to avoid stepping on the toes of higher-ups who had relative connections hired at the company.
You squatted against the wall of the hallway, still too in shock to move.
So, you simply sat in silence, for what seemed like forever.
“You good?” you had never felt worse than the exact moment his voice reached your ears.
“Go away,” you said sternly, knowing you’d be crying soon.
“Geez, forgive me for asking,” Jeonghan responds before turning to walk away. He stops abruptly after you sniffle. “So, you’re not ok?”
“No offense, Jeonghan,” you say hating the way your voice is shaking, “but you are the last person I want to speak to right now.”
There’s a heavy silence for a long moment. You silently pray that he’ll just leave. “Do you want me to get your brother?” he asks lightly.
You shake your head, “No, I don’t want to ruin the mood. I’m going to go home, just tell him I had a stomach ache.” You push yourself up and begin to walk briskly towards the door.
To your surprise, Jeonghan reaches out to stop you. You stare at his hand wrapped around your arm and wonder if you’ve ever even allowed him to touch you before. “It’s already late, let me give you a ride.”
You pull his hand off of you, “No, thanks.” You grab your coat and start to dig around in your purse to make sure you have all of your belongings.
“[Y/N],” Jeonghan’s voice rings clear in your head despite your brain feeling fuzzy. You don’t want to look at him. Who is this person that’s showing concern and speaking kindly? You don’t like it. It feels fake. It feels like a predator playing with a wounded prey. You’re just waiting for him to laugh or make a remark or do anything to make you feel worse than you already do.
But Jeonghan simply grabs the keys laying on the front table, grabs your arm once more, and leads you out to the car.
*****
The ride is suffocatingly silent. You wished he’d at least turn on some music to cover up the sound of your crying, but you remained in the quiet. You rolled down your window and stuck your head out, letting the warm night air and sound of wind comfort you. Since you were turned away from him completely, you didn’t see Jeonghan glancing over at you throughout the drive.
You couldn’t have left that car faster when you finally pulled up to your apartment.
To your dismay, Jeonghan also gets out, apparently intent on walking you up.
“You don’t have to-” you start but abruptly stop when he gives you a look telling you an emotion you don’t quite understand.
Jeonghan finally speaks when you’re riding the elevator up to your floor, “I don’t really mean it, you know.”
“Mean what?” you say weakly, starting to feel the exhaustion from crying so much.
“When I talk to you like that… I mean when I’m… rude,” he trails off, running a hand through his hair. “Usually it’s just teasing, but obviously I went too far with you. And I didn’t realize it until you started showing how upsetting it was for you. I should’ve known before that, though.”
“You seemed ruder after I started talking back,” you say, confused.
“I was just being petty and defensive. I kept telling myself things like: It’s her fault, isn’t it? She should have made it more clear from the beginning that it was upsetting her. How was I supposed to know? But that was just me being immature, I should’ve just talked to you.”
“Is that an… apology, Yoon Jeonghan?” you ask, letting yourself be a little smug.
For the first time, you get a genuine smile out of him, “Maybe.”
There’s more silence for a second.
“It’s a two-way road, though,” you say finally.
“What do you mean?” he asks.
“I mean, I could have also come and talked to you instead of letting things escalate,” you say. “I played some part in all of this… unpleasantness. You can’t entirely blame yourself.”
Jeonghan smiles again, reaching out to ruffle your hair the way Seungcheol always did. Then he takes a dramatic deep breath and rolls his shoulders, “There! That feels better, doesn’t it? We can finally be friends!”
You roll your eyes in a playful manner, but you feel it too, a weight has been lifted.
*****
Wonwoo showed up at your door in the middle of the night that night. You took one look at his frantic face and groaned, “I told Jeonghan I would tell you myself.”
“You should have told me immediately!” your brother pouts as he passes you to walk into your apartment.
“I didn’t want to worry you so late, especially when all of you were having a good time. I was going to tell you tomorrow,” you close the door behind him. You watch as he turns on the TV and starts picking through your pantry. “Hmmm, yes it seems quite clear that you came here out of concern for me,” you can’t help but use a sarcastic tone.
Wonwoo sends a glare your way as he grabs snacks and settles on the couch. You sit next to him, grabbing your fair share of the food. You try to keep your attention on the show, but the feeling of Wonwoo staring straight at you is distracting.
“I’m fine, you don’t have to worry,” you sigh.
“Really? Because Jeonghan described you as an emotional wreck,” your brother scoffs.
“I was just shocked and upset. I’ll be ok. I have a good resume, I can find a new job,” you insist.
“I keep telling you, you don’t have to work-”
“I don’t care how much you make,” you interrupt. “I’m not going to depend on you. It’ll just make trouble for both of us.”
“Will you at least let me help out if there’s any problems before you find a new job?” Wonwoo kicks at your leg.
“Like I would even tell you if I was having trouble,” you return his kick.
“You just can’t help but be difficult,” your brother complains quietly.
You let the sound of the show take over the room for a few minutes. “I do have good news,” you finally speak up, wanting to give your brother some peace of mind about something. “Me and Jeonghan made up. We figured it out.”
Wonwoo bolts upright with a grin on his face, “Really??? It’s really all good now?”
“100%,” you say, unable to stop yourself from pinching your brother’s cheeks, finding his excited expression cute.
“Let’s celebrate soon then! We can have a big gaming party with all of the boys!” You agree to your brother’s proposal. You feel content in this moment, knowing you’ll wake up in the morning in an uncomfortable position, immediately kick at his legs and tell him to get his stinky feet away from you.
*****
Your time at the dorm increases with the weight of you and Jeonghan’s rivalry being gone. You’re enjoying getting to know him as a friend instead of constantly walking on eggshells around him. Going to visit the boys is once again a happy and comfortable experience.
You hadn’t realized how much Jeonghan had affected you until you two had worked things out. The world felt light again and you could breathe, no longer in constant worry of possibly ruining things between your brother and his bandmates.
You hoped things would remain without complications for a long time.
*****
“Seungkwan, you should come with us!” you begged. “The carnival only comes once a year; you can’t miss it!”
“But it’s so crowded and there are screaming kids everywhere,” Seungkwan complains.
“Oh, whatever,” Soonyoung interjects. “You love it every time we go.”
Seungkwan gives Soonyoung a look that has you laughing through your mouthful of ramen. “Oh, shoot,” you say feeling liquid start to dribble down your chin. “Can I get a napkin?”
“Here’s one,” you hear Jeonghan’s voice as he enters the room. You reach out to grab the napkin as Seungkwan and Soonyoung continue bickering. But instead of handing it to you, Jeonghan extends his hand not holding the napkin towards you. His fingers come to lightly touch your chin and turn you towards him. Jeonghan wipes your face with the napkin himself, taking the time to make sure it’s really all clean. “All better,” he smiles at you, running his thumb across your chin to check its cleanliness one last time.
As Jeonghan walks away, you turn to see if Seungkwan or Soonyoung saw what had happened. They were still arguing, though. The boys showing you physical touch or affection wasn’t really all that uncommon. But for some reason, the way Jeonghan had grabbed your chin just now… Why was your heart beating so hard?
*****
You couldn’t stop yourself from dragging Wonwoo all over the carnival. It was nice to get out in this environment, the lights, the laughter, the food, the games, the rides. You wanted to do everything, but not before you looked at all there was and took in the spectacle.
You could hear all the boys laughing excitedly behind you, you knew they’d want to try everything as well. You shook your head at Seungkwan’s bright expression, you couldn’t wait to play the ‘I told you so’ card later.
The night was a blur. All of you ran from games to rides to snacks and then all over again.
You couldn’t help but stop completely in your tracks as you passed a booth with a giant stuffie of your favorite animal as a prize. Your fascination with the plushie doesn’t go unnoticed.
“You want me to win it for you?” Jeonghan’s voice is suddenly speaking right into your ear. You jump after realizing he was right behind you. You grip your cotton candy a bit tighter and shyly nod. The way Jeonghan grins at you fills you with warmth.
You watch him walk over to the booth. His light hair and pink shirt were illuminated by the soft glow of the surrounding lights. Jeonghan takes his wallet out and hands some bills to the vendor. You step up closer to stand next to him as he plays the game. He laughs as he chats back and forth with the vendor. You watch in awe as Jeonghan clears the game, no problem.
“Anything from the top shelf!” the vendor exclaims happily.
“That one please,” Jeonghan points right at the stuffie you had been staring at.
“It’ll be a wonderful memory for your girlfriend,” the vendor smiles as he hands the prize directly to you.
“Oh, I’m-”
“Of course!” Jeonghan interrupts you almost instantly, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and starting to pull you away from the game. “We’ll cherish it for a long time! Thanks for the game!” The vendor waves kindly as you two walk away. After a moment, Jeonghan pulls his arm off of you, “Sorry, sometimes it’s just easier to agree than explain, you know?” You nod in agreement. “Wait a second,” he stops you by putting his hands on your shoulders and standing in front of you. Before you can ask what’s wrong, his hand comes up towards your face as it had earlier that day. He quickly swipes his thumb across your lips before pulling to back to show you remnants of your cotton candy. “Do you always eat this messily?” he grins and then, to your surprise, puts his thumb in his mouth to clean it off.
You stand there, frozen, unable to really comprehend what just happened as Jeonghan walks away towards the other boys.
“For the second time today?” Soonyoung is suddenly standing next to you.
“So you did see what happened earlier!” you exclaimed, hitting his arm lightly. “It was weird, right?!”
“Can’t tell yet,” Soonyoung replies cocking his head to the side and putting his hands in his pocket. “Sometimes Jeonghan is just sort of naturally flirtatious. But I’m not sure about you. I figured since you two didn’t get along at first, it’d take him awhile to warm up to you at that level. He seemed to get comfortable with you quite quickly.” Soonyoung turns and shrugs at you after his words.
“You’re no help at all,” you say emotionlessly. There’s a pause before both you and Soonyoung slowly look at each other and laugh at your quip.
You decide to brush off your new concerns about Jeonghan and enjoy this night with the boys. The vendor was right, it was a good memory, and you’re sure it’d last you for your whole lifetime.
*****
You hate yourself a bit for it, but you once again seem to be avoiding Jeonghan. He had made you so nervous that day, and the way your heart pounded… You didn’t want to get sucked into having a silly crush on him if he wasn’t actually trying to flirt with you.
No, from now on, interactions with Jeonghan would be friendly but short and appropriate.
You were stupid to think he wouldn’t notice.
It wasn’t long before there came a night when Jeonghan insisted that he be the one to give you a ride home. You couldn’t help the way your nerves spiked at his determination to be the one to take you. You knew he most likely wanted to talk to you about your sudden distance from him.
The ride itself was nice, Jeonghan rolled the windows down for you, remembering that you enjoyed the warm night air of summer. You talked comfortably with one another. Jeonghan was always able to make you smile so easily.
You couldn’t stop yourself from staring at him. He was just wearing a t-shirt and sweats but… His blonde hair being illuminated in the moonlight as he ran his hands through it and his bright smile as he laughed...
He really was beautiful.
Once again, Jeonghan came with you to walk you to your door. And once again, he finally spoke up in the elevator, “You’ve been avoiding me, sweetheart.” Your heart drops to your stomach at the nickname. “Is everything ok? Did I do something to make you mad again?”
You quickly shake your head and pull your hands up to shake them as well, “No! Not at all!”
“You sure?” he insists.
“Yoon Jeonghan, you really don’t think I’d tell you if you did?” you say.
He giggles, “Yeah, that’s true. You’d let me know the moment I messed up, wouldn’t you?” The elevator dings and opens up to your floor. You and Jeonghan step out together. “Is everything else ok, then? You don’t start avoiding people for no reason.”
You nod as casually as possible, “Everything is great.” Your tone isn’t convincing and Jeonghan nudges you. “I guess, I just got… nervous? I mean one moment we were like enemies and then the next we were suddenly really… close, and-”
“I made you uncomfortable?” Jeonghan’s voice is slightly panicked.
“No, you did nothing wrong! It’s all on me, I just got caught up in my emotions and-” you stop abruptly when you realize what you were about to do.
Jeonghan nods quietly as if to say he understands, but what it is he understands, you’re not sure. “Is it ok for us to remain close, or do you want me to back off?”
“I don’t want any more distance between us, but…” you trail off.
“But, what?” he prompts you again.
“I don’t want to get the wrong idea about anything…” you say, finally reaching your door.
Jeonghan watches as you slowly unlock your door and push it open, “You haven’t gotten the wrong idea about anything.” He avoids eye contact when you look up at him.
You’re shocked by his forwardness. But once he voices his thoughts out loud, you once again feel the feeling of a weight being lifted.
Jeonghan gestures for you to step inside, catching your arm once you fully pass him. He pulls you back to him, close enough for him to lean in and leave a quick kiss on your cheek, “Night, babe, I’ll see you later.”
You stand there, completely still, staring at your door that had shut closed in front of you. You can feel heat rise from the tip of your toes all the way up to your ears. You finally let yourself fall into a squatting position, covering your face with your hands, and letting out a squeal.
*****
Jeonghan invites you to meet up outside of the dorm. It’s a cute little coffee shop at a quiet part of the city. You’re already sitting when he walks in. Maybe one day, you won’t be completely caught off guard by his beauty… but today is not that day.
His whole person is bathed in the glow of the early morning light as he approaches you, the softest, most genuine smile gracing his face.
“No, don’t get up,” he says when you try to leave your chair, “I need to go off and order anyways.” Jeonghan leans down to kiss your forehead firmly. “I just wanted to come say hi first,” he whispers, holding your face close to his.
Your first date sets a wonderful precedent to the rest of your relationship. Jeonghan gets your heart racing with flirty comments and sweet touches. But he also makes you feel calm and content, easily keeping a smile on your face. You just feel… good throughout it all.
You insist on walking him back to the dorm, since they had schedules that day.
“So, we’ll be doing this again?” Jeonghan asks hopefully, as you reach the front door.
“Definitely,” you nod enthusiastically up at him, wondering how you had ever managed to despise the man that made you feel so whole and happy.
Jeonghan looks utterly happy and a tiny bit nervous as he stares down at you. His hand reaches up to brush back your hair before settling firmly against your face. Jeonghan looks at you so fondly as he leans in. His lips connect to yours… so softly… so sweetly. You can feel his nose nudge against your face to push it into a preferred position. He pulls back slightly after every little kiss to let out laughter so sweet, it sounds like it should be coming from the mouth of an angel. But he’s never far away for long, reconnecting to you quickly every time. You let him take the lead, allowing his lips to take care of yours, giving them the sweetest kind of attention. He pulls back for a moment longer to nuzzle his nose against yours, an action that has you gripping his shirt to keep him close. His hands keep themselves entertained by running across your face or through your hair.
He’s going back in to kiss you once again when he front door of the dorm opens, leaving you caught in the act. Wonwoo stares at you two for a long moment before making a single comment that causes you and Jeonghan to laugh.
“You know, when I said I wanted you two to have a better relationship, this isn’t exactly what I meant.”

Hot Cocoa Pt. 20
Daryl Dixon x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary:  Pre-apocalypse.  Y/N is an elementary school teacher new to the town, and one of her students is little Dixon, Daryl Dixon’s nephew. Daryl has taken care of him for years, the kid’s mother out of the picture and his father seeming to be in and out of jail all of the time.

The next day, after class, Sam stayed with you to the art activity, and so it was Daryl who came to pick him up and not Merle. This time, you didn’t go to have dinner with them, you didn’t want another mess fight with Merle, even if you hated that he was making you expend less time with Daryl and Sam, but you didn’t know to fix it.
The day after that, it was Friday, and Sam didn’t stay to the art activity, as he told you that he was going to the woods with Merle after class. You didn’t mind it…well, you did, a bit, sad that it seemed your weekend movie nights with Daryl and Sam might come to an end, but you understood Sam wanting to be with his dad, and wanting to go to the woods. It seemed he was staying both to the art class some days and with Merle others, and as long as he was doing what he wanted and was happy, you knew you should be content.
Still, when you were alone at your place that evening, you couldn’t help your sadness as you missed the Dixon’s and your evenings with them.
Early on Saturday morning, when you were still barely awake, you heard some knocks on your door. You frowned, confused at who could be at that hour, and you got up to open the door, surprised when you found the Dixon’s there. Sure, they were early risers, but they’d never come to visit so early, excepts when they took you to the woods…still, you were very much not going to complain about them coming to visit.
“Hi, Y/N!” Sam grinned at you while you blinked at them, taken by surprise.
“Hey, sweetheart, you come early today,” you said, smiling. “I’m glad to see you.”
“Yes, we can have breakfast together!” Sam said and you nodded, smiling, though when you glanced at Daryl, you thought something seemed off.
“Sure we can, I’m going to put some breakfast together,” you told him.
“I’ll help ya,” Daryl said and you nodded at him, heading to the kitchen while Sam went to the living room.
“Hi, Laura!” You heard him greeting your cat. “I missed you!”
“I’m sorry if we woke ya up or somethin’,” Daryl said.
“No, it’s fine,” you assured him as you began putting together some hot cocoa and cookies. “But it’s everything okay?”
“Yeah, just…” Daryl let out a sigh as he leaned against the counter. “Merle went out last night, I heard him coming back at the sunrise, brought a girl,” he explained. “Didn’t feel like bein’ there this mornin’ with Sam.”
“Oh…I get it…I’m sorry…but I’m happy Sam and you are here,” you said, smiling at Daryl, who gave you a soft smile, reaching to stroke your cheek before he helped you to carry breakfast to the table.
Daryl and Sam didn’t stay only for breakfast, though, but for lunch too, since Daryl didn’t think Merle would wake up any time soon, and on your side, you couldn’t help but be glad that they were spending time with you.
Late in the afternoon, they were going to go back home, but Sam tugged at your hand.
“Y/N, come have dinner with us,” he told you and you hated to say no to that look he was giving you, but…
“I think your dad will prefer if it’s only you three,” you told him and Sam let out a sigh that broke your heart a bit.
“So you’re never comin’ again? He asked you and it really felt like someone was stabbing your heart.
“It’s not that, sweetheart, just…” You tried to look for something to say, but were at loss for words. “Just…your dad has just come back, wait for him to settle down and…and things between him and I will…settle down too…” You weren’t even convincing yourself, and you hated this feeling of Merle winning nonetheless, either if you went and you both ended up fighting again, or if you didn’t go and disappointed Sam and made him sad, no mention stopping yourself from spending time with Sam and Daryl. “But…yes, I think I’m going to have dinner with you.” You finally decided, screw Merle, you weren’t going to let him take time from you, Sam and Daryl.
“You don’t have to if you don’t wanna…” Sam said, shrugging and still looking down.
“Yeah, ya don’t have to,” Daryl said too, looking at you as if he were worried that you were feeling forced to go.
“I want to,” you assured them. “So…let’s go.”
*
Once you reached the Dixon’s cabin, Merle was sat down outside, smoking, with a couple of empty bottles of beer next to him.
“I knew ya had left with her,” he scoffed as he looked at you.
“It wasn’t lookin’ like ye were goin’ to miss us this mornin’, like ya didn’t last night,” Daryl bit back, but Merle just chuckled, smirking.
“What’s the problem, lil’ bro, ya wanna be the only one who can get pussy?” Merle taunted Daryl, even though his mean smile was on you.
“Shut up,” Daryl snapped, but you reached to place a hand on his arm, knowing that Merle was trying to rail you both up in purpose, and you weren’t going to follow that game anymore…you ignored your coworkers for a year, you could ignore Merle Dixon too.
“Sam, do you want to show me how the garden is doing?” You asked him. “I haven’t checked in a few days.”
“Sure, and then we can shoot at the cans with the slingshot before dinner?” Sam grinned at you. “I can shoot them from further now!”
“Yeah, that’s what happens when ya practice at that instead of losin’ yer time paintin’,” Merle said, and you bit your tongue again.
“Sure, sweetheart!” You smiled at Sam, ignoring Merle. “And then we’ll make some dinner.”
You walked with Sam to the backyard, and Daryl looked like he didn’t know what to do with himself.
You were checking the garden, happy to see that a new batch of tomatoes seemed ready to harvest, when you heard a gunshot so close that you gasped, scared, and your heart seemed to jump to your throat.
You looked back and saw Merle next to the tree, a rifle on his hands, and one of the squirrels that seemed to have been at your homemade house and feeder dead on the ground. He’d killed one of the squirrels…you were so shocked you couldn’t say anything.
“The hell did ya do?!” Daryl yelled.
“Get dinner.” Merle shrugged, taking the squirrel.
“Dad…dad, those ain’t for dinnin’, those are our yard squirrels…” Sam said.
“He knew that already,” Daryl said, glaring at Merle.
“Come on, like ya don’t come from huntin’ with a bag full of those,” Merle laughed. “This little squirrel house of yers, helps bring dinner home.”
“Ya knew we don’t hunt those…” Daryl growled and Merle scoffed.
You knew that Daryl wasn’t going to be vegetarian, no matter he cooked for you or eat your food, you knew that he still hunted in the woods when he needed meat, but you too knew that he would have never touched any of the yard squirrels.
But Merle…he didn’t even need the meat, Daryl had enough from the last time he went hunting to the woods, and Merle knew about the yard squirrels…he’d done it on purpose, to upset you and anger you…and now a squirrel that came attracted to your feeder was dead because of you…
“Look, kid,” Merle said, looking at Sam. “Don’t let that teacher get ideas on yer head, even if she took yer uncle’s brain,” he scoffed. “This?” He shook the dead squirrel and you looked away. “This is dinner.”
You were beyond upset, beyond angry too, but you didn’t want to explode there in front of Merle, either by crying or by yelling, and so you just began walking away in silence, wanting to go back home and away from Merle.
“Y/N!” Sam ran behind you, holding your hand to stop you, while Daryl was looking like he didn’t know what to do, go after you or fight his brother. “Don’t leave, I’m sorry dad shot a yard squirrel but he won’t do it again.”
You let out a sigh, trying to control your emotions. “Sweetheart…you don’t have to be sorry, I’m not upset with you. But I’m sad and-”
“I’m sorry that you’re sad,” Sam said without letting you finish, hugging you. “Don’t leave sad.” He was making it really hard for you to leave, feeling like your heart was tearing a bit, but you couldn’t stay there with Merle at that moment.
“Sweetheart, I’m sorry, but I’m sad at this moment, and when I’m sad like this, I want to be alone for a bit,” you told him softly. “But when I’m not sad like this, I’ll come see you, or you can come see me, okay?”
Sam just shrugged, looking down and seeming upset, breaking your heart, but finally he nodded.
“Kid, come skin the squirrel!” Merle’s voice said and again, you bit your tongue so as not to snap, and held your tears.
You began walking away again, but before you even left the small, front yard, someone tugged at your hand again, Daryl this time.
“Y/N, hey, wait…I’m sorry,” he told you softly and you took a deep breath, you’d already dealt with Sam about this and now you needed to do it again with Daryl.
“Daryl, I’m very upset at this moment, it’s not at you, but I need to leave, okay?” You said as calmly as you could, but Daryl was looking like it was very much not okay. “I’m not mad at you but I can’t stay here right now, I’m sorry.”
“…okay…” He was still looking like it was not okay, and he glanced back towards the house. He’d seemed concerned as he looked at you, but now he was looking angry again, and you reached to hold his hand.
“Daryl, don’t get into a fight with your brother with Sam listening to everything,” you told him, knowing how upset Sam got when Merle and Daryl fought, and he’d seemed upset enough at everything that had happened.
“I ain’t lettin’ it go!” Daryl waved towards the house. “That shit ain’t right”
“I know, but Sam is going to be upset if he sees you and Merle fighting, and he’s upset enough,” you said. “Go be with him.”
Daryl still seemed torn, but you let go of his hand, and walked away.
*
Late that evening, you were on the sofa, curled up with your cat. You knew that you should go to sleep, but you were still upset and agitated after the whole Merle thing, and you didn’t think you could sleep.
There was a knock on the door, so soft that you wondered if you had imagined it, but you went to the door and looked through the peephole, finding Daryl there, so you opened.
“Hey…”
“Hey…did I wake ya?”
“No, I haven’t gone to sleep yet,” you said, letting Daryl walk in and closing the door behind him.
“Last time I came this late you had a knife with ya,” Daryl said, and you snorted weakly.
“Yeah…maybe I’ve lowered my guard too much…” You tried to joke, heading to sit down on the sofa again, and Daryl stood in front of you.
“I’m sorry ‘bout my brother.”
“I know you are…” You let out a sigh. “But it wasn’t your fault and it’s not you who has to apologize.”
“Yeah, my brother ain’t apologizin’…” Daryl said and you snorted bitterly.
“That’s not a surprise…” You scoffed, before sighing again. “How’s Sam?”
“Upset…” Daryl sighed too, sitting down at the other end of the sofa, fidgeting. “This shit with Merle…I’m gonna fix it.”
“If you know how, go ahead, because I have no idea,” you said, defeated, and on one hand, you wanted Daryl to do something about his brother, but on the other, you didn’t want him resenting you if he fought with his brother all the time because of you. Daryl wasn’t really looking like he knew how to fix it, and you reached out to take his hand. “For now…just hug me?”
Daryl looked at you, nodding and shifting closer until he could wrap his arm around you, and you snuggled against his chest, feeling his lips on the top of your head. “I’m sorry that Merle’s bein’ a prick…” He murmured.
“I know,” you whispered.
“Ya said…ya said ya ain’t leavin’…ya still mean it?” Daryl asked you ever so quietly, and you pulled back to look at him. He didn’t hold your gaze, seeming shy and unsure, and you reached to caress his cheek before making him look at you.
“I mean it, Daryl, of course I do,” you assured him. “You know that I love you, and I love Sam, and I wouldn’t want to be away from you both, and your brother being a prick is not going to change that or drive me away from you both.” You felt like Merle was trying to make you want to leave, and you weren’t going to let him win. “I’m not going anywhere…besides, you know now I’m trapped on that school for at least another year,” you half-joked and Daryl snorted, giving you a sad smile before hiding his face on the crook of your shoulder.
“I can’t stay,” he muttered against your neck. “I ain’t sure if Merle’s goin’ out this night again or not, I don’t want the kid to be alone at home if does.”
“Okay.” You nodded, you understood, and Daryl pulled away from you with a tired sigh. You leaned to kiss his lips before taking his hand, walking with him to the door.
“Daryl…you know how I ignore my coworker’s bullshit?” You asked and Daryl nodded. “I’m going to do the same with your brother, I’m done fighting, it’s been good for nothing.” Merle ended up winning one way or another. “And you should too.”
“Can’t.” Daryl shook his head. “I , uh…always ignored all his bullshit, went with it, but…if he’s a prick to ya or the kid…I can’t let him…”
“Thanks, but…don’t fight with Merle because of me, try to ignore it…” You still were afraid of Daryl resenting you, or Merle turning things around and putting Daryl against you. “Merle will get tired of trying to start bullshit, or will get used to me and you at some point, or…” You trailed off, not knowing what else to say.
“Yeah…” Daryl didn’t sound convinced at all, though. “Good night.”
“Good night.”
*
On the next day, you didn’t hear from the Dixon’s, neither they came to visit you. It saddened you, you missed them, but you guessed that after all the mess with Merle yesterday, maybe they were trying to make things right again…Daryl had said that he was going to try to fix it…but you were worried that it might backfire.
Late that evening, there was a knock on your door, and you hoped that, like last night, it was Daryl coming to visit. When you opened, though, it wasn’t only Daryl, but also Sam, and you smiled at him, more than glad to see them.
“Hi, guys!”
“Hi, Y/N!” Sam grinned at you, lifting up a paper bag that he was carrying to give it to you. “We bring you tomatoes from the garden!”
“Thank you, sweetheart,” you smiled at him, taking the bag. “What if we use some for dinner? Are you both staying?” You asked, looking at Daryl, who nodded.
“Yeah.”
Your smile went bigger at that, and Daryl’s lips curled up into a smile too.
Sam went to greet your cat, and you went to the kitchen to leave the tomatoes and start with dinner, Daryl following you.
“So…it’s Merle okay with Sam and you being here for dinner?” You ventured, wondered if Daryl had managed to talk sense into his brother for real.
“Nah,” Daryl snorted bitterly. “But he ain’t at home anyway. He wanted to go to the woods today with  Sam, but Sam was still upset so I thought I should go with them too…that’s why I didn’t come earlier.”
“That’s okay,” you said, reaching to squeeze his hand.
“We were in the woods most of the day, when we came back, Sam still looked upset, so I told him we could pick the tomatoes and bring them to you, that you’d like it, I thought it might cheer him up, it did,” Daryl explained, and you couldn’t help your smile at it. “But, yeah…Merle didn’t like it…began rantin’ ‘bout ya, got worse when I snapped, so I, uh…tried ignorin’ him like ya said…I ain’t sure but I think he got more pissed, and he left…guess he’s at the bar gettin’ drunk or somethin’.”
You let out a sigh, hating that there had been tension between Daryl and his brother yet again, due to you, and that Sam was in the middle.
“I’m sorry,” you said softly, squeezing his hand.
“Yeah…at least we weren’t yellin’ with Sam there,” Daryl said, letting out a tired sigh, and you nodded, you were glad of that too.
That evening, Daryl and Sam stayed after dinner too, watching a movie and eating popcorn as you three used to do on weekends, and you couldn’t be more happy about it, trying to ignore your worry at Merle being mad at this and at how impossible it seemed to fix your relationship with him, no matter how much you knew you should, for Sam’s and Daryl’s sake.
*
The next morning, you were walking towards the school, when you saw Merle ahead on the street. You thought that maybe he was dropping Sam at the school that morning instead of Daryl…or maybe coming back home after a night out. It seemed the latest, because as you approached, you realized that he seemed drunk, or high, or maybe both. You hoped that, when he reached the Dixon’s cabin, Daryl’d have already taken Sam to school.
The street was too narrow to walk around Merle, and so you tried to keep it civil and polite, and greet him. “Good morning, Merle.”
You had tried to keep walking, but Merle stopped in front of you. “Look who I found…the bitch tryin’ to steal my family.”
“Merle, I am not trying to do that,” you said, feeling more than done. “Let me pass, I have to get to work.”
“Ya think ya can take my family from me, uh?” Merle kept going as if he didn’t hear you. “Put them against me? Ya think I’m gonna let ya?”
“Merle…again, I am not doing that,” you said doing your best to stay calm, even if you were a bit intimidated by Merle at that moment. “I’m sorry that you feel that way, and I’m sorry if I gave you that impression, but it’s not true, but if you feel like that, we both should sit down, talk about it, stop this misunderstanding, but again, not now, because I have to go to the school.”
“Ya think they’d choose ya? My brother and my kid?” Merle still didn’t seem to be listening to you. “Ya think they’d pick ya over me?”
“I don’t think anything like that, Merle, we’ll talk about it when you’re sober, I know you love Daryl and Sam, and I do too, so we really should get along, we both care for them, so-” You kept trying to reason, growing increasingly nervous, but Merle interrupted you again.
“Ya think yer so great, so better, all prim and proper…Go ahead, uppity bitch, ask them,” he said, smirking. “Ask them to pick ya, to choose ya over me, ya’ll see what ya get.”
“Merle, I am not doing that. Now go away and let me go.”
“Yeah…that’s what I thought…” He chuckled. “Ya ain’t askin’ ‘cause ya don’t dare…’cause ya know they ain’t gonna pick ya.”
“No, Merle, is not for that!” You couldn’t help but snap, hurt by this conversation. “It’s because I know that it’d hurt them, if I asked that from them, and I don’t want to hurt them, because as I’ve told you a million times, I care for them!”
“Ya try to take them from me, put them against me, but ya can’t… they ain’t gonna pick ya, they’re gonna choose me,” Merle kept taunting you.
“Oh, I know, I know that” you said, trying not to cry. “That’s what you wanted me to say? You win, then, I know it, because you are a damn lucky man, even if I think you don’t deserve it. Your brother? He loves you, no matter what, no matter all the shit you give him, all the shit he has to endure because of you and your selfish ass. Your kid? Since he was three, he’s only seen you for Christmas and on monthly prison visits, and still, he loves you the way he does, which is, let me tell you, a damn lot, even when you are the prick that you are to him. So, you better appreciate it more than you do!” You spat, angry and upset.
“So yes, they’d pick you, but it’d still hurt them to have to pick between you and me, so I’d never ask that from them, never wanted to, either. But if you want to ask that from them, because you are a selfish prick who doesn’t care for their happiness or their feelings, just for yourself, then, I guess I can’t stop you.” You kept ranting, not caring about the way Merle, who suddenly seemed to have lost his voice was glaring at you. “So do whatever you want to do and leave me alone, because I need to go to class!”
Merle and you kept glaring at each other, but he wasn’t moving out of the way, and you were about to resort to shove him, even if you weren’t sure if Merle, drunk and high, might not retaliate at that, when you heard a voice ahead of the street.
“Hey! What’s going on!”
You looked towards the voice and saw Tulip’s dad, probably on his way to work too.
“Nothing…just bumped into Merle, but he’s going home and I’m going to the school,” you said, pushing Merle with your shoulder and rushing down the street towards Tulip’s dad before Merle could snap.
“What was all that nonsense Merle and you were yelling about?” Tulip’s dad asked you, and you wondered how much he’d heard…and how much you had raised your voice without meaning to.
“Just that, nonsense…I really have to go to class.”
“Okay…hey, Y/N…school’s better since you’re there, and Daryl Dixon? He’s better too, and the kid, he always looks happy now,” Tulip’s dad said, and once again, you wondered how much he’d heard. “Don’t let Merle Dixon get to you.”
“Yeah…I’m trying not to…” You let out a sigh and gave him a weak smile. “Thanks…and to think that I used to think you too hated me,” you chuckled.
“Hate you? Nah…just thought you were…dunno…thought you weren’t gonna last a month here either, that you’d go back to whatever city you came from…but, here you are,” Tulip’s dad chuckled too.
“Yes…here I am, and no prick is making me leave” you said, smiling at Tulip’s dad. “Thanks, but I really, relly gotta go.”
“Okay, my wife we’ll go pick up Tulip later, goodbye.”

sleepy boys inc x gn!teen! reader headcannons
trying something new! i like bbs and all, but i wanted to write for other youtubers! lemme know if yall wanna see more content like this lol.
this takes place in a minecraft au!!! also, mentions of bad parenting/abusive parents
wc: 2,319
okay the sleepy boys
chaos incarnated, all of them. you can’t deny it
so, when tommy invites a friend from a local village, at first, everyone else is skeptical. since when has tommy made a friend who didn’t hate him within 20 minutes from all the screaming and insults he spewed?
unlike his friends, phil is more excited than anything. though he isn’t tommy’s dad, he feels like it sometimes, so he really wants to meet this new person who has caught the youngest’s attention
techno is very much not on board. he has a hard time trusting people at first glance and having been friends with tommy for the longest, he knows that tommy readily jumps the gun and attempts to befriend literally anything just because he can
and wilbur? indifferent for the most part. yes, he feels the need to make sure tommy is protected and cared for, but he also recognizes that this situation is out of his hands. the best he can do is hope that their friend isn’t an absolute asshole
so, it’s saturday. all three men are sitting on the couch in phil’s cottage, talking amongst themselves as they wait for tommy to come back. techno makes a joke about murdering them, which leads to phil scolding him about his violent tendencies
“you haven’t even met them yet, techno, what the fuck.”
wilbur is simply adding fuel to the fire, making little remarks here and there and watching the whole thing escalate to phil lecturing the piglin hybrid.
because of this, not one of them had noticed that tommy returned, with his newest friend. they both stopped at the sight of phil in dad mode, tommy considering just turning around and taking his friend as far away as physically possible
too late, since techno’s sixth sense made him whip around and stare at the newcomer. this made phil stop lecturing and wilbur quit giggling long enough for tommy to introduce his friend
after saying their name, the friend lifted their hand shyly, face burning from slight embarrassment. their other hand was latched onto tommy’s, feeling intimidated.
can you blame them? the fucking blood god looks like they wanna skewer them and cook them over a campfire.
tommy took notice of their shyness and cleared his throat, “we were planning on going to the carnival in their village if you three assholes feel like tagging along.”
like there was any way they were gonna let tommy and his friend go out without chaperones.
tommy turned back to his friend, “give me a second, i’m gonna go grab my sword just in case.” and proceeded to run up the stairs and towards the guest bedroom in phil’s house that he claimed.
the millisecond he was out of earshot, techno grabbed his friend by the front of the shirt.
“what are your intentions with tommy?”
the friend blinked once, twice, then bit back a smile. “you’re asking that as if i’m about to date that motherfucker.”
this time, it was wilbur who bit back a grin of his own. who would’ve expected the originally shy kid to have replied like that????
techno’s brain short circuited and his grip on their shirt loosened slightly. did.... did this kid just brush off his question???
“can you put me down? you’re gonna stretch my shirt.”
techno’s brain blinked back into focus and he gripped the kid’s shirt harder, shoving them against the nearest wall. “i asked a question, kid.”
“you know, tommy told me something like this would happen. i’m glad i came prepared.” and then, tommy’s friend sucked in a deep breath. techno leaned back, expecting the worst...
“MWISTER TECHNWOBWADE, PWEASE PUT MWE DOWN BEFWORE I SCWEAM”
oh god, this was far worse than anything he thought of.
he dropped the teen out of disgust more than anything, reeling backwards. if there was one thing that haunted his dreams, it was uwu-speak.
phil started howling of laughter, clutching his stomach and hunching over. originally he was going to stop techno from threatening a literal child but this outcome was so much better than anything he was anticipating
wilbur was no better, already tearing up from how hard he was snickering. he started choking on his own spit at one point, smacking his arm against the couch.
tommy was so fucking confused when he came back down the stairs, seeing the mayhem that was, for once, not caused by him. he glanced at his friend, who had the world’s biggest shiteating grin.
yeah, they were gonna fit in just fine.
and they did! phil took them under his wing (both physically and metaphorically) and allowed them to come visit his home whenever they wished. and whenever they did, phil was the first to ask how they’ve been and what they were up to
to phil’s surprise, the kid was overall calm in their choice of activities. things like playing soccer or drawing or figuring out how to learn instruments in their free time. it seemed like they were desperate to get their hands on anything and everything just to learn
he found it funny, though, when their chaotic side shone through. they easily were on tommy’s level when they got into that headspace and it was so hilarious to him.
his favorite memory of the kid was when they walked into the house and marched right up to where techno was reading idly in the corner. planting their hands on their hips, they spoke.
“if you were to fuck a clone of yourself, would it be masturbation or would you be considered gay?”
phil, who was washing the dishes six feet away from them, just about crumbled into a ball on the floor from how hard he was laughing and sobbing.
of all questions, that was the one that came out.
but he had no idea that the chaos was a coping mechanism. he just thought they were naturally like that in their free time.
he soon found out the truth when they came home with tommy, who was cursing up a fit, visibly angry. his friend was slumped over, as if trying to hide themselves from the world
when phil asked what had happened, tommy exploded.
“their fucking dad took all their money from their savings! said he needed it more than them and when they asked for it back, he called them a fucking disappointment! that fucking bitch--”
phil can count very few times when he felt true anger and he can confirm that when tommy had told him what had gone down, he saw red.
but he knew better than to outwardly show it. judging by how hunched over and defeated the kid was, what they needed was a stable support system
so he walked over and shut tommy up with a hand on his shoulder, “why don’t we take the rest of the night to build up that game room you wanted in the basement. i’m sure if we knock it out before techno and wil are supposed to be back, we can all play something like monopoly.”
seeing where phil was headed, tommy nodded and brushed away his anger. he knew that what his friend needed was a serious cheering up. tommy ran towards his guest bedroom, claiming that he was going to find his blocks.
phil crouched in front of the teen, tilting their head up to look him in the eyes. “you’re not a disappointment. you’re an amazing person with a chaotic joke machine going 120 kilos over the speed limit in your head and you are talented. your dad doesn’t know shit about what you’re capable of doing.”
oh boy, the kid’s crying. those are tears, full on tears.
that night was one of the best nights of their life, however. they enjoyed the entire three hour long game of monopoly where they watched the light leave everyone’s eyes. it was funny when wilbur lunged across the table when he landed on a railroad, out for phil’s blood.
speaking of wilbur, he enjoyed every minute in the kid’s presence. they often asked creative and random questions and went along with the abstract jokes he made, the two of them laughing heartily the entire time.
when the kid first mentioned wanting to learn how to play the guitar, he practically burst through the wall of the room next door, breathing heavily and exaggeratedly.
“did someone say guitar”
yeah, he’s feral. that’s canon.
they proceeded to spend the entire day in phil’s garden, each of them equipped with a guitar. despite their outwardly smooth brain and stupid demeanor, the teen was a fast learner and could play the most basic chords by the time the sun was setting.
wilbur’s favorite moment was the first night they met, when they went to the carnival. there was the game where you shoot the water and fill up the balloons and the kid was going head to head against techno and tommy.
it was when techno won that the teen turned to techno with murder in their eyes and spoke in a deadpan tone of voice,
“you’re lucky you won this time, you gentrified mayo monkey.”
wilbur’s jaw dropped, as did techno and phil’s. tommy was already in hysterics, smacking his hand against the counter that held the guns.
needless to say, wilbur found his favorite, not-quite sibling in a heartbeat.
techno was the last to come around with the child. can you blame him? every time he tried to threaten them or had beaten them at something, they would respond in a cryptic threat--
“i’m going to pee your pants if you don’t let me win”
or just brushed him off. without a second thought.
“anyways, i was murdering a chicken the other day, and the fucker had the audacity to ribbit at me.”
to say he was confused was an understatement. he was terrified of the fact that a literal child held so much power and disinterest in things like their own life. so for the first few months, he avoided them.
but he had seen past that when it was around midnight on a weekday. tommy was hanging out with tubbo and ranboo in their village miles away from the area. wilbur was out drinking with schlatt, niki, and fundy, and phil was already asleep.
techno wasn’t too far behind, sitting in front of the fireplace and staring out of the window that showed the front yard. it was only then when he saw the flash of a familiar face and looked closer as the teen walked up to the house quietly. their head was down and they carried a small bag with them.
techno opened the front door with a long creak as they reached the porch steps. it was only when they jumped and looked up in surprise that techno had noticed a deep bruise on their left cheek in the moonlight.
despite the fact that he kept away from them, techno was very protective and territorial of tommy, phil, and wilbur. and since they were attached to the teen, he became protective of them as well.
so all the voices in his head went quiet for a second. before exploding into a mixture of screams and threats, all leading back to protecting the child in front of him.
without thinking, he reached forward and cupped their face for a better view of the bruise. at the warm and soft touch, tears slipped down the kid’s cheeks and they sniffed pathetically.
the voices quickly took a 180, all screaming to take care of them. make them feel better. so, techno led the kid inside and let them spend the night in his room, with them falling asleep on the bed and him falling asleep on the rocking chair in his room.
phil did not hesitate to officially declare himself as the teen’s official father, saying that their biological father was a “little bitch”
now somewhat living with the teen, techno found an appreciation for their quieter moments, when they were reading or simply daydreaming. it was cute, in his eyes. but he also grew to enjoy when they were absolutely feral, especially toward tommy.
his favorite moment with them was when they had gifted tommy a music disc for his birthday. it was sweet and sentimental and tommy just about burst into tears when he saw it.
all of the sappiness quickly vanished when tommy put it into a jukebox.
“FUCK THIS PUSSY, BOY, FUCK. FUCK IT RIGHT, BOY--”
tommy had let out the most terrified scream and it practically engrained itself into techno’s brain. it was the first time he ever laughed at something the teen had done and the teen felt proud of themselves.
and finally, tommy. he was already happy to call himself a friend of the teen’s. they were like peas in a pod, working together.
tommy came to them when his insecurity felt heavy and they came to him whenever their dad’s words got to them. they had a nice system of dependency on one another and neither of them would trade it for the world.
tommy’s favorite moment of being friends with them was during their first birthday living in phil’s house. it was a birthday befitting their personality, with brightly color streamers hung and confetti all over the floor. he knew that they enjoyed it severely and once the cake was cut, the kid turned to phil.
“phil, where’s the big tiddy strippers i requested?”
tommy was GONE
he all but choked on his slice of cake and walked away, shaking his head while trying to stifle his giggles. but when he heard phil’s scream of “WHAT”, he just lost it.
all in all, his friend had made a fine part of the sleepy boys. they were a happy face in an otherwise somewhat bleak and dangerous world. and all four men appreciated it.

Curiosity Killed The Cat ~ LMH & LF [M] [Request]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WORD COUNT: 4.9K
PAIRING: Minho x Fem!Reader x Felix
GENRE: consensual smut, Hitman au, mentions of death, assisnation, bombings, blood, face riding, oral, threesome, M/F/M, after care, no protection
A/N: Please I had so much fun with this! I love writing AU’s so much!!! 🥺🥰💗 Hope this is okay for you my lovely little anon!
Tumblr media
"If you don't stop tapping that pen I'm going to shove it so far down your neck you'll whistle when you breathe," Minho growled in Felix's direction as they sat together in an old beat-up car. All Felix had done for the last four hours was tap and click the pen over and over again deciding that he was single-handedly going to be the one driving force that made Minho want to quit his job.
"I don't see anything else to do," Felix countered as he stared back at his partner who simply glared at him before looking out of the window again. It was a stupid idea to stake out a university it looked suspicious that two men were waiting in a car outside but it was the bosses orders. Stake out the school and wait for the suspect to come out but it felt creepy. Although it was a university and most of the students were their age it was strange to them both.
"Have we actually seen him go in?" The truth was no one had seen the guy that they were after in almost seven months, he was good at hiding which was why he was nicknamed "The Chameleon," something Minho hated. Why give the bad guy a name it was only going to boost the ego even more.
"He's supposedly acting as a student," Minho handed the folder over to Felix keeping his eyes on the door, the Chameleon could walk out right under your nose and no one would have an idea it was him.
"Why a student? Surely it would be feeling for him to be a teacher," Felix flicked through the folder the guy was a serial bomber that his company had been after for years. He'd killed almost over 100 people with no remorse whatsoever. It was as if the guy was a robot, he didn't care who he hurt as long as he got what he wanted, not that anyone knew what that was. His clues were always so vague. One thing for sure, it wasn't money that he was after.
The government had tried to pay him to stop the needless killings only for the guy to blow the bag up in the middle of the street.
"Easier to hide...Won't be so obvious when things go missing around the school...The student we're looking at fits his usual MO." Minho sighed taking a deep breath and looking at Felix for the first time in an hour. It was beginning to worry him the closer the two of them got to catching the guy. Their job wasn't a simple catch him and arrest him, no, they were the last resort. Kill him on sight as soon as they know, without a shadow of a doubt that it's him. Assassins or as they were better known as now, Hitmen.
"Transfers in the middle of the year, things from the science department go missing and then there's the-" Right as Minho was about to explain that there were constant fire drills the alarm began to blare out through the school.
"Those," He mumbled staring back over at the double-doored exit from the school. There was no use sitting at the entrance when they knew he liked to hide from everyone, if he was the one doing this they needed to find him and quickly before anyone else got hurt.
Tumblr media
"Another drill?" You mumbled looking to your left to see your best friend Mina smirking at you, you rolled your eyes knowing why she was so happy. Thanks to the fire alarm she was going to get out of her final exam and pass it no matter what,
"It wouldn't surprise me if you were the one pulling them," You mumbled sarcastically as you pulled your satchel over your shoulder, looking around for her so-called boyfriend.
"What did you do? Get Farara to pull it?" You teased as you jabbed your elbow into her side, walking out into the courtyard and taking in a deep breath,
"You need to relax, we've just finished exams and you're still studying," Mina rolled her eyes at you, it was always the same with her. She wanted you to let your hair down and relax while you wanted to focus on things that were important to you, like actually passing your course.
"I have another two years to go, you're done. I'm just getting started." You reminded her as you looked around, you loved Mina with all of your heart but since meeting Farara she seemed to be getting in trouble more. Not only with the university but with the police. Just last week you'd been called down to the station to bail her out because she was caught driving around in a stolen car with enough products to set a whole house on fire.
"Take a year off, come with me and Farara to England. He's going to take me away and spend time with his family." The more you heard about the guy the more worry began to grow inside of you. She'd hardly known him and yet she was planning to run away to a different country with him,
"What does he even do for a living? To get all of this money?" You questioned hoping she wouldn't get too annoyed with you asking her about him. It seemed as though whenever you asked questions she would get pissed at you, claiming that you were just trying to poke holes in their "relationship,"
"What does it matter?" She stared at you with a disgusted look on her face,
"Hey, baby!" A voice cried out as a pair of strong-looking arms wrapped around Mina.
"Snuckums!" She practically squealed making you jump as she turned around and began making out with him grotesquely in front of everyone.
"That's my cue to leave," You said loud enough for them to hear, turning to head home to your dorms when Mina grabbed your arm.
"Party tonight. Come with us," She begged looking at you with pleading eyes, as you were about to decline Farara scoffed at the thought of it.
"Y/n? At a party, don't make me laugh. She's the party pooper baby, she doesn't know how to have fun." For some reason, the anger bubbled up inside of you and it seemed to annoy you more. If Mina had been the one to say it it wouldn't have bothered you as much but from him, you wanted to prove him wrong.
"I'll be there. Text me the details," You smiled smugly in his direction but he just seemed to smirk, it made you feel uneasy to see him smirking at you like that.
"This will be great! A going-away party right baby!?" Mina squealed before making out with him once again.
Tumblr media
After spending almost four hours trying to pick something to wear you finally felt ready to go and headed straight to the party. It was at the frat house Farara had been living in since he got to the university. The whole walk over from your dorms you could have sworn someone was following you along.
"Glad you could join us, take this." Mina handed you a drink and then laid a flower necklace around you before disappearing into the house leaving you alone.
The whole house seemed to be partying hard, loud music was blaring for different speakers each of which was playing a different song. People were already yelling and dancing drunkenly along the floor and not to mention someone throwing up in a flower pot.
"You came pretty late, didn't think you were going to show," Farara smirked once he caught sight of you in the kitchen. You hummed before putting down the cup Mina had given to you, there was no way you were going to drink that night. Not unless it was water at least. You didn't know anyone besides Mina and she was clearly preoccupied with other things.
"We have juice boxes in the basement," Farara joked earning a laugh from someone else in the kitchen but Mina pushed him softly.
"Leave Y/n alone, she came and that's all that matters. Come on, let's go dance." She pulled you straight into the living room without giving you a chance to answer her.
"Isn't this fun?! I'm so sad you never got to have parties all year," She pouted at you, wrapping her arms around your waist as she swayed in time to whatever song she heard first. The mixture of the songs and stench alcohol all starting to hurt your head the longer that you stood there but you were at least going to wait an hour before heading home.
Tumblr media
"What the fuck are we doing?" Minho mumbled as he stared down at the jeans and shirt he was wearing, Felix had dressed in the same outfit only a different coloured shirt. When Felix suggested going to the party Minho didn't think he meant actually attending it.
"We're blending in." He chuckled laying one of the flower necklaces around Minho's neck who stared at him with a filthy look the moment it touched his chest.
"What better way to find out information than going to the people that know the guy." It still didn't make Minho feel any better about being at some kind of dumb University frat party. Everyone was drunk and drooling over one another except for the girl that they had followed over, you.
"Look," Minho nudged Felix and nodded in your direction as they watched you heading for the bathroom alone. You stood out amongst the rest, instead of dancing or drinking you were simply looking for a bathroom and keeping your head down. They only knew about the party because they'd overheard you and Mina talking about it earlier that day.
"She looks like she could be here to help, we saw them speaking with one another earlier," Minho reminded Felix but he shook his head,
"She does look like she wants to be here, they didn't look like they liked one another." Minho shrugged his shoulders as he thought back on it,
"All good acting," The two of them weren't sure if Farara had a partner this time but in all of his other bombings, he had someone. Someone who would take the fall for him, usually the good girl gone bad once they met him and fell for his traps. Promising them a life of happiness in another country, planning everything out so it would seem as though he truly loved and cared for them when he didn't.
"I'm just saying we find The Chemelon, take care of business and leave," Felix whispered as they made their way through to the kitchen when they saw him. A loud laugh spread through the air that physically sent shivers down their spines, watching as he left out of the kitchen door and down the back garden.
"Follow him," They said in unison as they headed out of the same door, keeping their heads down as they tried to see what it was he was doing.
Tumblr media
Stepping out onto the back porch you took in a long deep breath of the cold air, it felt nice to have it circulating through you instead of the stuffy air from inside. Mina had begged you to stay once she caught you trying to leave, making you promise her that you wouldn't go anywhere until she found Farara who had run off leaving her in charge of the party. In your mind, he was out fucking someone else since he seemed like a player but you weren't about to tell one of your best friends that.
The longer you stood there the more you wanted to go home but as you looked down at the end of the garden you frowned. Inside the small shed, there was a flashing light coming through the window and you could have sworn you heard someone grunting.
"I swear to god if this is Farara I'll murder him," You mumbled to yourself as you began to walk towards the building. All you were going to do was look through the window, if it was him you'd find Mina and tell her. If it wasn't him you'd just act as though you hadn't seen anything but the closer you got the more uneasy you began to grow. Something inside of you was telling you to turn back but you weren't about to let your friend get cheated on by some good for nothing low-life.
"Tell us what you're planning and maybe we'll let you off easy," Felix whispered in Farara's ear from behind him. They'd followed him out and found him packing up a suitcase which meant the bombing was sooner than expected from him.
"I don't know what you're talking about," The boy stuttered as he stared between the two men in front of him, both of them had guns on display to intimidate him into speaking. As if being strapped into a chair with garden rope wasn't scary enough for him.
"Look, we know who you are. Just tell us where the bomb is," As soon as the word bomb left Minho's mouth he heard a gasp and branch snap from outside the shed. His eyes met with Felix and he nodded over to the side door where Felix could easily get out without being seen.
Tumblr media
Stepping back from the building you tried to move out of the way but ended up backing into someone who pushed you back to the window. Forcing you to stare through it as the man inside shot Farara in the chair he was strapped to. There was no sound from the gun you just saw a blur before Farara dropped forward, lifeless in the chair as blood pooled from the small entrance wound in his head. A small scream was building up in your throat but before you could say a word a hand was covering your mouth and you were ushered into the shed.
"Clean up to Agents 322 and 366," The man who had killed Farara said down a small earpiece looking over at you with a small smirk on his face,
"What a curious little kitten," Felix purred in your ear as he ran his fingers up and down your cheek making you shiver,
“Curiosity Killed The Cat you know,” Minho chuckled as he looked over at you from his phone.
"I'll ask you once, and only once." Minho lowered himself to your level, looking you in the eyes.
"Do you know who he's working with? Your friend maybe? Could she have known what he was planning?" Bile rose up in your throat as you watched the blood pooling onto the floor, running along to Mino's shoes as he stood there.
"Mina. S-She wouldn't have know...I don't think," You looked back at Minho, the gut feeling inside of you seemed to subside as you looked at him and Felix who was now standing in front of you.
"You don't seem scared that we just killed your friend?" Felix questioned looking from the body and back to you, your eyes get dancing to and from Farara, half expecting him to jump up and have this be some kind of joke.
"A friend? I didn't know him and he did nothing but belittle me...What was it you said about a bomb?" Curiosity began to build in Minho as he watched you, there wasn't even an ounce of fear towards them from you.
"Have you heard of the Chameleon?" The realization hit you as you stared at Farara.
"He fits the MO." You mumbled shocking Felix who just seemed to stare at you in disbelief.
"You're training to be in the forces?" Minho asked as he laid a garden sheet over the body, your eyes staring back at him this time.
"My father was an FBI agent, I know some things...I know you're not FBI." A smirk plastered across Felix's lips as he watched you and Minho interacting the way you were. It was the first time he'd ever seen Minho act so casually with someone in months, not to mention he seemed laid back.
"How do you know that?" Felix quizzed looking over at you as he folded his arms over his chest.
"For starters, neither of you have a badge otherwise you would have shown me by now, your guns aren't standard issue for agents...So you're hitmen...That or random psychopaths." Minho blinked at you before standing up straight when he heard a knock on the door.
"Clean up crew," Minho pulled the door open and ushered you out with Felix on your other side.
"Do you need help with her?" A female voice asked as you turned your whole body to see a female staring at you.
"No thanks, you go and clean up. We'll take her home." Your eyes shot up to the one with the deep voice, Felix, and you frowned.
"We'll make sure you get home safe," Minho added when he could see how confused you were.
Tumblr media
Leading you over to their car you stared at it, it was the same car that had been following you earlier.
"You followed me here," The back door opened and you crawled inside, looking around at all of the empty food packets.
"Ignore the mess, we were on a stakeout," Felix chuckled as he got into the front passenger seat and glanced back at you.
"I'm Felix and this is Minho," He shook your hand and you felt a spark ignite inside of you. The way his hand fit around yours made you shiver a little,
"Look at that, someone liked your touch Lix." Your eyes shot to Minho started up the car and smirked at you through the small review mirror.
"Give us your address kitten," The small nickname made you clench your thighs as you could feel an aerosol building. After giving them your dorm address you began trying to pull yourself back together, you'd just watch them kill someone and yet you were getting wet at the thought of them calling you kitten. It didn't help that they were insanely attractive, Felix's muscles could be seen through the thin white shirt he was wearing and Minho's ass looked like he worked out an awful lot. You blinked, ignoring the growing wetness that was pooling between your legs.
"Look at that, we haven't said one suggestive comment and you're squeezing your little thighs together," Minho chuckled as he reached a red light, turning to look at you from the front seat and licking his lips at the sight of you. Completely innocent and sitting there rubbing your legs together as if that was going to give you any kind of satisfaction that you were desperately craving.
Tumblr media
"My guess is she's going to go home and touch herself to the thought of us," Minho teased as he began to drive once again, watching Felix as he turned to look at you. His eyes locking with you as he reached behind to rub your knee softly.
"I mean she doesn't have to think of us, we could do it for you princess." The car stopped outside your dorm but you made no attempt to move as the car was shut off.
"Would you like that?" Minho questioned turning his body to look at you. The need to press your thighs together built up but Felix kept them apart, licking his lips as he waited for you to answer the question. A finger trailed up and down your knee and you shuddered,
"Yes! Yes...Yes, I would like that," You spoke loudly as you stared at both of them, the two exchanged a smirk with one another before climbing out of the car and holding your door open.
"Then who are we to let a pretty little kitten go home needy," Felix growled in your ear, holding your arm as you all walked in the direction of your dorm room.
Tumblr media
Neither of them wasted time when they got into your room, attaching their lips to either side of your neck as you let out small whimpers of pleasure. You could already feel each of them smirking against your skin, Felix's hands around your waist while Minho kept his on your breasts, massaging them softly with his hands whenever you would whimper.
"Here we thought you were the good girl," Minho whispered making you jerk away from him,
"I'm not. I'm sick of people saying that to me," You spat at him your eyes locking with his as he tilted his head to the side, a smug look on his face.
"Prove it to me," Without another word you pushed him down onto your bed sinking to your knees in front of him. You pulled down the jeans he was wearing discarding them behind you, forgetting about Felix behind you until he laid down on the floor.
"Up," He ordered, you rose to your knees and he slid under you so his breath was right against your core.
"Looks pretty," He whispered referencing the bright pink thong you had worn under your dress that night,
"But it needs to go." One snapping sound later and you felt a cool breeze on your core,
"Dripping wet Minho, you should see her." A finger began to trace along your folds making your hips jolt forward,
"So wet, pretty and-" A small kiss was placed on your clit and your eyes widened,
"Tastes define." Felix moaned out in a deep voice, you whimpered looking at Minho.
"The confidence seems to have faded from you kitten," You ignored him pulling his cock free from his boxer and smirking at the length. He was larger than you expected but you slowly pumped him in one hand, looking up at him smugly as he jerked. Minho shifted a little, leaning back against the bed letting his elbow prop him up. Running your fingers over the indent under the head of his cock your smirk grew wider as he moaned out.
"Good girl," He breathed out as your tongue began to caress him, swirling around the head of his cock before you took him into your warm mouth pumping your head back and forth while your other hand rested on his thigh.
"My turn," Felix whispered pulling you to sit down on his face as you let out a moan around Minho's cock who seemed to moan out in pleasure. Hollowing out your cheeks you ran your tongue over the indent you'd found earlier and he cried out gripping onto the sheets around him.
"Oh shit!" You moaned out as you could feel Felix's tongue running through your folds while he worked two fingers in and out of you, curling them up to meet your g-spot making you cry out again.
Minho thrust up into your mouth as you took him back, moving your head faster this time setting his whole body aflame. Each thrust of your head caused his whole body to stiffen and he looked at you, holding your face as he began to thrust a little more. You smirked around him nodding at him to let him know it was okay and he slowly began to thrust into your mouth.
"S-Shit she likes that Hyung, clenching around my tongue." Felix chuckled as he continued to eat you out aggressively as you rode his face, your hips bucking little by little as you felt an orgasm beginning to build up inside of you. Minho thrust up once more before his whole body shook and he let out a moan of your name, cumming into your mouth as he rolled his head back. You swallowed every last drop and focused on the pleasure Felix was giving to you, gripping onto the bed as you rocked your hips in time with his licks.
"So pretty when your face contorts like that," Minho chuckled as he began kissing you softly, holding your neck in his hand lightly as he forced you to look at him,
"Do you like this? Two strangers fucking you?" You nodded as you let out a choked moan, pulsating around Felix's fingers as he continued to thrust them into you at a rough pace.
"Cumming!" You screamed out as your hips continued to buck as your orgasm ripped through you, your legs shaking as you tried to stay upright on your knees instead of falling to the floor the way you wanted to.
"Y/n?" Felix whispered as he pulled himself into a sitting position, watching you as you ripped your dress off from your body, you were ready and you needed one of them inside of you. Now.
Tumblr media
Lips met yours over and over again as Minho pulled you up onto the bed, sitting back against the headboard as you straddled his lap. Kissing him wherever you could, lips, neck, collarbone, anywhere you could get your lips on him. Felix sat behind you naked, his cock pressed against your ass as you let out a whine.
"Still so wet," Felix chuckled as he teased your entrance with two fingers, meanwhile Minho had worked his fingers down to your clit circling slowly.
"Holy fuck," You breathed out as your head fell forward to rest on top of Minho's. Your brain was in a fog as they continued to tease you with their fingers until Felix sank two inside of you and Minho applied the pressure that made you cry out pushing your hips back into Felix.
A third finger was added and your whole body felt as though it was on fire, your fingernails dug into Minho's arms as you cried out a mixture of both of their names.
"Someone is ready for us," Minho chuckled as they removed their fingers making you whimper at the sudden lack of touch from either of them. Felix moved to the edge of the bed and sat in the same position Minho had before.
"On the floor kitten," He whispered as you got onto your knees in front of him, this time Minho sat behind you with his cock at your entrance causing you to clench around nothing.
"You sure?" You ignored the stupid question as you sank down onto Minho's cock crying out as you adjusted to the size of him.
"That..Oh shit...That's a yes Felix," Minho moaned out as he held onto your thighs, grunting at the tight feeling as you wrapped around his cock. Smirking to yourself you looked up at Felix, taking him into your mouth and began to bob your head as you had done with Minho. The two men moaning out in pleasure as you controlled them, moving your hips up and down at a slow pace just to torture Minho that little bit more.
"Fuck," Minho's hands gripped onto your waist and he thrust up harder and faster into you, his breathing jagged as he moaned out your name. Felix's cock twitched into your mouth as you began to roll your tongue around the head of his cock, reaching your hand down between your thighs to circle your clit.
Fire was beginning to build in your stomach with both moans from men titling you over the edge.
"Just like that," Felix cried out as you moved your head in time with Minho's fast thrust. The room filled with wet sounds and slapping skin as you cried out around Felix's length. Felix's hand rested on your cheek as he began to thrust into your mouth, grunting as he came down your throat holding you around him until his hips stopped jerking.
"M-Minho! I-I’m cumming! I-I’m cumming!" You screamed out as he continued his sinfully fast thrusts until he came into you touching you deeply as your head rolled back against his chest. Clenching onto anything you could get your hands on, screaming out his name. Cumming around him as you pulsated in pure bliss, your whole body felt as though it was shaking.
Tumblr media
Minho smirked as you slept in his shirt, they'd managed to clean you up with a warm wet cloth and got you into bed.
"Poor thing must be exhausted," He smirked running his fingers over your face as your frowned in deep slumber.
"That was a nice reward though for finishing our job," Felix laughed as he looked at your body, you were curled up in a small clutching onto the sheets and he smiled.
"We should get going, paperwork to report and all that," Minho mumbled grabbing a hoodie from your wardrobe as he turned to leave.
The morning you woke up images of what had happened flashed before you and if it hadn't been for the achiness between your thighs. You would have thought it a dream and yet, you were laying there in a shirt that wasn't yours and a note beside your bed,
Until next time Curious Kitten x
Written at the bottom of the note were two numbers with the boy's initials by the side of them, you clutched the note against your chest as you laid back. Enjoying the memories of the night before.

Tumblr media
Your head hurt, you knew your face was probably red due to your desire to go home and cry, but yet, your friends convinced you to go out for a drink. According to them nothing was too bad that a beer couldn’t improve, you doubted it.
Somehow, you found yourself happy to have accepted.
You didn’t know Ethan was back in town, you briefly wondered why you didn’t know, since he always contacted you when he was near (or at least that was what it seemed to be). Still, you were glad to see him. He was always able to make things better, even if only for a short period of time; which in your case was very short one as he wasn’t yours to have.
Ethan complemented your friends, they were all too familiar to him. He hugged you, giving a small kiss to your head while sitting next to you. Suddenly, you felt like a stronger drink would do you good.
It wasn’t hard to tell what was going to happen in the next few hours, after a couple of years going through that, you knew the time you spent together would always be the same. You guessed that you were able to put his head in place, just as he did with yours; and that's why he always came back to you. You'd never be able to tell if it was luck or mischance.
“Was it too hard to find me?” You asked him.
By now, your friends had moved to another corner. “I mean, I’m not complaining, I’m glad you did.” You offered him a weak smile. He did the same.
He looked tired, yet deadly cute.
He shuffled his chair closer to yours, letting his leg touch your bare knee. “Not really, Victoria said she called you in the morning, then told me that you intended to visit here for the night,” he mumbled, signaling to the bartender that he needed a beer, and so did you.
“She’s a gossip,” you wrinkled your nose, causing him to provide offer you a nasal laugh that you had learned to find lovely over the years. “But what has been happenin’ in your life lately? You’re good?” You tried to sound casual, but deep down you knew he wasn’t there entirely for you. Something was bothering him, he was looking for someone to rest on.
“Pretty much the same,” he sighed heavily. He wasn’t tired just physically. “We finished the last album, I feel exhausted.”
He looked at you like a lost puppy, watching your face, analyzing if you were in the mood to listen to him, or even if you were okay with having him around. After all, he came to you out of nowhere.
He’d never make you uncomfortable around him, maybe he hadn't noticed that yet. “C’mon, let it all out. I haven’t seen you for too many months for you to deprive me of the details.”
“If I tell you,” he pondered, “ you’ll tell me why you have a runny nose to match your watery eyes?” He poked your cheek, dragging his fingers so he could put some strands of hair back in place.
His seat was now so close to you that you'd be able to rest your head on his shoulder if you wanted to without creating any bodily discomfort.
“I guess life just hasn’t been all that gentle with me lately.” You giggled at him. “I lost my job last week, the same life shit is goin’ on as usual, and when I finally managed to move to a decent place, I’ll now be actually going back to sharin' apartment with strangers, because, y’know, I can’t afford bein’ in there anymore.”
Ethan was quiet for a while, you needed him more than he needed you. Listening to you made him realize how his worries were nothing at all. He knew that you didn't mind sharing an apartment with someone, but the loss of perspective was always tough.
Without further thinking, he pulled you to himself, fluffing your hair and holding you tight in his grip. You didn’t cry, yet it was possible to read your emotions. It was little, but Ethan knew you.
You took your head off his chest while he still had his arm around your waist. Taking a deep breath, you stared at your laced fingers, feeling it slow down. “I guess it’s all happenin’ at the same time, I’m just not sure how to handle it at the moment,” he held your face in his hand, his mouth close to yours as he ran his fingertips over your chin, until his lips were on you.
He was soft and wet, he had the same taste you still had etched in your mind, at that moment it seemed to be all you needed. He let go slowly, distributing pecks on the corners of your mouth, letting his forehead rest against yours.
You two stayed like that for a few minutes and you could bet that anyone who passed by could see how much of a fool you were for him. You tried not to think about it too much, it was better to have little of him than to have nothing. “Ethan?”
“Huh?” He murmured with his eyes closed, giving your lips a tickling sensation.
“Kiss me more,” and then he did. Ethan was holding you in place while your hands intertwined around his neck. You played with the chain of his necklace, savoring the touch of his tongue on yours, focusing only on him while pulling at his hair to hear his soft moans.
It didn’t take long for the bartender to come get your attention. You laughed nervously against him, you were embarrassed because you didn’t even remember where you were, still Ethan seemed untouchable about it. He wasn’t one to be embarrassed over small things like that, at least not with you. The bartender was quite irritated with the two of you and just now you noticed that your drinks had arrived and hadn’t even been touched; he was rightly pissed.
Ethan stood up, lifting you up with him. You looked in your pockets for your money, but then Ethan said it was okay and that he’d pay. You would argue, yet any money left over would be welcome. You held both beers in hand as he paid, thanking the old lady for the service, still feeling your skin burning with embarrassment, and then headed outside to wait for Ethan.
“Are you drivin’?” He asked, laughing at your state of awkwardness.
You bumped into his shoulder slightly, laughing along with him. “I am not, I’m living nearby,” you whispered as he put his hand inside your skirt pocket, bringing you to his side for a walk. “In the apartment that soon won’t be mine… how ‘bout you?”
“Not drivin’, I thought about staying somewhere to spend the night.”
He was close to home, but not that close, it would take about 3 hours to get to where he lives; it seemed plausible that he wanted to stay. “Are you only here because of me?” You risked asking.
“Yeah,” he took his hand out of your pocket and ran it through his hair. “I didn’t think it‘d be a bad idea.”
There was a silence, but it was far from being uncomfortable. “You know you can stay with me.”
——————-
Considering that you were in the process of moving to another place your house was a bit of a mess. Ethan wouldn’t be bothered by that, somehow your instinct of wanting things always in place - aka Monica from Friends - made you wander around the space in an attempt to make Ethan at home.
“What ‘bout the new album?” You asked, dragging one of the boxes away from him. It wouldn’t even bother anyone, but the thought that it would be in the middle of the room while someone was at your house bothered you.
“I don’t really know, I feel anxious about releasin’ it. It’s not that I don’t want to release it or am afraid of doing so, far from that, it's just, I don’t know… ” His voice fell silent, lost in his thoughts.
You turned to him, wanting to ask him what he had said, after all, that didn’t sound like Ethan, you felt as his hands touched your hips, pulling you on his lap. “Y'know I don’t care about your mess, right? Just, please, stop walkin’ 'round the house dragging boxes.” He said with his face close to your neck, hugging you from behind. His warm breath was in contact with your soft skin, providing heat to your body. Well, there was a minimal percentage chance that you were trying to make the place look good for Ethan, just because he made you a little nervous.
“Okay, fine. I’m fine,” you exhaled, turning to face him. He was smiling with his eyes almost closing; he still looked tired, but at least you were improving his mood. “You know you’re good at what you do, Ethan. You shouldn’t worry 'bout those things.” You held on to his shoulders, breaking something that could turn out to be a pity silence.
He squeezed your thigh at the same time as he laughed humorlessly at your words. “I know that. I guess that this is the short time they gave us to finish the album – it was drivin’ me crazy. The album isn’t bad, not at all, it’s honestly very good. Dami did a incredible job, still if it weren’t for the time it could have been even better. That’s crazy how I’m still letting myself get stressed over this, don’t you think?” He vented, moving his hands up your skirt.
“I know it’ll be good, I can’t think of anything you did that ended up bad!” You ran your fingers over his covered shoulders, down to his chest, going to the first open button of his t-shirt. “But if it’s just stress I can help you.”
He lubed his lips, nodding assiduously, putting you properly on top of him. That way, you were stuck to his body, feeling the rough of his jeans along with the zipper against your underwear. You gulped as he held your face, sealing your lips with his. You were relieved he always guided you through that; the leading up part was way better when it came from him.
You unbuttoned the rest of his shirt in middle of sloppy kisses and grips. Running your hand over his belly, tracing your fingers to the back of his neck while moving your hips lightly. You lugged on his hair, pulling him away to catch your breath. You opened your eyes to find Ethan with a deep pink mouth and brown eyes more intense than normal, at that moment you could have sworn that he was the most beautiful thing you had ever laid eyes on. You spread his shirt to the sides, sensing your body getting hotter, when Ethan smirked at your rush, managing to hold both of your hands behind you; stopping you in place.
“No need to rush, we have plenty of time,” he clenched you in his hands. You arched your back, breathing heavily at each touch of his fingers on your wrists.
He ran his nose over your neck, placing kisses and bites on the way to your collarbone, leaving wet tracks that would later turn into dark marks.
Your legs ached from that position, the couch wasn’t the best, but feeling Ethan getting hard under you as you writhed yourself against him, made you want to stay there for as long as he wanted you to. It was crazy to think that at the beginning of the day you were sure that the rest of it would be a pure disaster, and now being spoiled by Ethan’s lips your worries seemed to fade away.
Temporary as that would be, you were determined to give him your all, making his and yours next hours one of the best escapes from both of you. Unnecessary to say that you were lost in your own mind by now, craving for having his strands in-between your fingers, wanting him tugged into you furiously, causing you to ache. Your mouth was ajar, your vision was just white dots as he played with your sensitive skin, driving you insane. Ethan paralyzed when his grip became too strong around your fists and you got louder than usual.
“D’you like that?” He did it again, but this time pushing your body backward. He kept his devilish grin on his face, watching you from top to bottom. You bit your lips, containing your noises to yourself. Such an angel in his eyes. “Up, babe. I need to see something.” He didn’t let you answer, not as if he needed to. You stood up in front of him, legs shaking with your head definitely not in the right place. “Undress.” He rested his elbows on his knees.
His face was serious, and you didn’t see any problem in obeying his voice, but perhaps, due to the lack of his body being glued to yours, you couldn’t help but let out a laugh.
“Don’t act like you don’t like it when I tell you what to do,” He caught you by the hem of your underwear, helping to take it off while you got rid of your blouse. “Especially, when I just got you off my lap, almost unconscious 'cause of some kisses to your soft neck, pet.” He added, drawing circles on the inside of your thigh, smoothly going up to your center.
You felt your breath come to a halt. “You’re just too bossy.” You teased, confirming that your breathing was faulty.
He patted his nose over the damp stain of the fabric, placing a kiss there. “And you love it.” He pecked you a few more times, teasing you by running his fingers on the edges as putting the cloth to the side; never touching you where you needed him.
Almost involuntarily you took hold of his hair, bringing him closer to your core. And then, you understood his previous question, it wasn’t just about not being able to touch him, but also about the power he was having over you.
He cut his actions short and got up, hovering over you. “Tonight, you won’t be allowed to touch me, all right?!” He whispered, tossing your hair behind your ear.
That’d be comical in any other situation, yet with his body and eyes fixed on your frame you felt in his domain.
You nodded, diving into the way he pulled at the hair on the nape of your neck firmly so that you were looking at him. “Go on, babe,” He insisted on having the words he wanted.
“Yes, it’s all right, Ethan,” it was far from all right, you couldn’t do that. How could you go without touching, making a mess of his hair or marking your nails on his back?
“That’s my girl,” he praised you in between sighs.
He was excited while your face was overflowing with nervousness; not out of fear, but out of curiosity. He finished removing his shirt and indicated with his fingers for you to lie down on the couch.
You shut your eyes tight, with his voice echoing 'my girl’ in your mind, Ethan was lugging your wrists above your head as you did what he told you to do. He tied them with his shirt. “Is this hurtin’ you? Are you comfortable?” He tightened it in a knot.
Your head and elbows were on the arm of the couch, only your hands were unsupported. Although you weren’t uncomfortable, it was to be expected that pain would appear the next day; it’d be worth it. “No, it’s fine. I’m good.” You assured him as he knelt beside the couch, running his hands down your torso, making you squirm.
He went down to the hem of your underwear, taking it off with the help of your legs kicking the lace away. “Good then,” he warbled, pattering lines on your pubic hair. “Needy and in your proper place.”
“Bastard,” you swore through clenched teeth.
He grinned, admiring how your breast rose and fell in a quick but punctual rhythm while your hips fidgeted at his touch. You looked like a piece of art he had just created, swollen lips, filled in lovely marks on the collarbone. He found himself in need to concentrate on his breathing while watching you, to control his pulse as he reached his fingertips to your pussy.
“Ethan” you breathed out, forcing your fists. “Go on, please,”
With that, he held your hands, forcing them down and slid a finger inside you. Your lips opened in a sigh and he took the opportunity to kiss you, running his tongue over your bottom lip and nipping it to his mouth, keeping things on a slow pace.
You wanted to hold his hand, make him go faster or be able to pull the locks of his hair until he understood how much you wanted him, but you had no way of doing that, and you knew he was just doing that to provoke you.
His lips traveled over your neck again, this time giving light kisses, blowing air on the soft fresh he had left in there.
“You’re so gorgeous,” he said without even opening his eyes, delighting in your skin as he sped up, now rubbing his thumb gently over your bud.
You whispered something almost inaudible that Ethan recognized as his name. He raised his head, coming face a face to you. “Right there, huh?” He asked, focusing on the spot that was blurring your vision.
You groaned. The satisfying delight running through your veins. You closed your legs, wishing you could hold on to his body, but all he did was laugh, shoving his fingers leisurely into you.
“No, no Ethan,” you looked at him properly, thinking that if you hadn’t been with your wrists tied you’d have slapped his chest.
He wiped his hand on your thigh, and stood up slipping his jeans down his legs along with his underwear. You sighed at him, stretching your arms, staring at the ceiling to disguise yourself. Not that it was necessary, Ethan was already too much of a show-off when it came to you for your liking.
“You good? How’s your arms?” He doubted, getting on top of you.
He had his hair damp, falling over the spots on his forehead. Some of his locks was glued to his chest and his golden pendant dangled in front of your eyes. For a split second, you though about saying that you missed him, but you were wise enough to know better than doing such a thing.
“If I say that I’m not good. Are you goin’ to untie me?”
He pressed his chest to yours, your body sticking to his since you were both sweaty.
“Not even a chance,” He stroked your neck with his thumb, up and down, with a silly look on his face.
You grunted as soon as you felt how solid hard he was against your thigh, he aligned himself in-between your knees, holding on to your shoulders, and without hesitation he filled you up. Your body tingled and your voice failed, causing a silent moan to slip from your lips. His head fell over the crook of your neck and you could feel how dysrhythmic his breathing was. His warm body along with his breath hitting on your neck added a pleasant feeling in your stomach, leaving you dizzy under him.
“Move Ethan,” you tried to sound understandable, embracing his waist with your legs.
He thrusted deeply in you, leaving a breathed sigh of relief in your ears. You stretched out your arms, tightening your thighs around him. He held the shirt in your hands, preventing it from coming loose.
“No, I wanna touch you,” you whined.
“You will, just be patient, babe,” he squeezed your wrists in his hand.
Closing your eyes, you enjoyed the way his body was over yours, every movement and every delicate touch.
He went slowly at first, making sure you were taking all of him before going faster. Once he felt your walls clenching around him, he murmured a breathless 'fuck’, letting go of your hands so that you could finally feel him. You dug your nails into his back, kneading your body against his at the same time as he hugged you.
As you opened your eyes, he was already looking at you, with an intense gaze, building you up to feel sexy and wanted.
Both of you were a mess; sweaty and sticky. You felt a tingling ecstasy take all over your body, your toes twitching as you emptied yourself into him. He kept working on you until his body collapsed into yours, filling you up to perfection.
The last thing you remembered was having your fingers entwined in his hair, patting at it slightly as he whispered sweet nothing against your skin; just like a lullaby.
———–-------
You woke up to the noise of the television, trying to adjust your vision to the brightness of the daylight. Failing to stretch, you felt how sore your body was.
Your eyes searched for Ethan, finding him sitting opposite to you with a lazy smile and a cup of tea in hands, his attention was all on you. Friends was playing on the television, but you doubted he was really watching it.
“Good mornin’ babe,” his husky voice echoed through the room. It was the best thing to hear in the morning. “How’s it? Hurtin’?” He asked when you started examining your marked wrists.
He was fully dressed and although you weren’t, he had managed to get a sheet to cover you.
“Good mornin’. It’s fine, it doesn’t hurt,” you mumbled, scratching your eyes, curling up on the sheet. “How long will you be stayin’ in town?”
“Not long,” he paused thoughtfully. You already expected that he wouldn’t be with you for long, still sometimes you liked to think that it’d last longer than just a few days before he disappeared to another continent. “I need to go home in a few minutes, I’m going to take a flight at night to adjust the final details of the album.”
“Sounds nice,” you wanted to have the courage to tell him how he made things in your life look just right, as if he were some kind of piece missing from your puzzle. “I can’t wait to hear it, hear what your great fingers are capable of.” You ignored your thoughts. He laughed.
However, you truly believed that not saying anything was a wise move.
He lifted a cup from one of the boxes next to him, holding it out to you. “I made one for you too, I hope you don’t mind.”
You didn’t mind it, in fact, you loved the way he made himself at home so quickly. The home that soon wouldn’t be yours anymore. You wished Ethan could remedy your worries for more than just one night.
“Thank you,” you took the still warm drink in your hands, looking at him as if he were part of your decor. “You can smoke in here, I don’t mind that either,” you spoke up. You couldn’t even imagine that he’d have gone without lighting a cigarette all morning.
“The place is all clean, and smells nice. I bet you never lit one yourself, I wouldn’t do that.” He was right.
“Well, y'know that I don’t care about the smell, I just don’t see the need to leave the house impregnated with it.” You explained, remembering that Ethan’s house was a perfect description of that smell, yet you loved his place.
“I know this is going to sound strange,” he started. “But if you can’t find a place in time to live in… you can stay at mine, I mean, you know I am never home and as I’ll be travelin’ you could make yourself at home.”
He said it casually, and you knew he wasn’t lying, if you wanted to he wouldn't even think twice about letting you stay at his.
“No need, I’ll be fine. I do appreciate it though.” you took a sip of your now cold drink.
He bobbed, checking what you thought could be the time on his phone.
“You have to go, I guess?” You asked, your soft voice revealing you didn’t want that.
“I need to,” he gave you a small smile, getting up. “It’s gettin’ a bit late for me.”
“I see,” you went to him, adjusting the sheet on your body, feeling ridiculous for still being undressed. “I guess I’ll see you, right?” You added it while he picked up your stuff on the couch; keys, wallet and the pack of cigarettes. There was no answer for your question.
“Yeah,” he breathed out, heading to the door. “You could come and visit, spend a few days with us. It’d be nice.”
“On tour? Like a groupie?” You wrinkled your nose. His arms wrapping around you. You’d miss it.
He squeezed you into his chest, his tiny beard tickling your cheek. “You know you are much more than just a groupie for me, Y/N.”
You didn’t answer that. He pulled away and for a second you thought he was going to kiss you, but he didn’t.
“See ya Y/N,” instead, he kissed the top of your head. “Think about it, both about comin’ to visit and also about needing a place to stay for a while.”
“I’m sure I will, thank you Ethan,” you watched him, from his rumpled shirt to dark circles under his eyes. He’d always have a special space in your heart. “I guess I’ll see ya then.”

Could I request fluff #6 with Jack Hughes?
fluff #6. "you've been my best friend for 10 years, why not change it to husband and wife?"
pairing: jack hughes x fem!reader word count: 1.4k
It was always easy to love him. It was easy to love the friendship he initiated all those years ago, and it was even easier to admit your love bore a little deeper when he admitted his feelings were more than friendly about you. A decade long friendship had blossomed into something more, and it was something neither you, nor Jack had any arguments against.
Jack always brought up your ‘friendiversary’, and you couldn’t help but get a laugh out of the pure joy he always bestowed on you every time he mentioned it. The new kid in school accidentally exploding his yogurt tube all over his desk partner was probably one of the funnier ways to begin a lifelong friendship that would eventually blossom into more.
“So, how are we celebrating a whole decade together this year? Should we go get frozen yogurt? Maybe we can make a re-enactment of what happened in middle school? We could make it a whole thing, make a tiktok about it and everything,” you could feel your eyes rolling involuntarily at his words, shooting Jack a glare from across the room.
“We’re not doing anything that involves yogurt.”
“Not even something sexy?” Wigging his eyebrows at you, your hand immediately reached for the pillow beside you to whip at your boyfriend.
“Get your mind out of the gutter, Lil’ Jizzy,” groaning at your words, Jack plopped himself on the couch beside you, instantly pulling you into his side.
Shrugging his shoulders at you, you could see him googling friendiversary ideas out of the corner of your eye. “Babe, we don’t even have to do anything. We could cuddle up and order food and just watch a movie or something, it doesn’t have to be anything special.”
“It’s our ten-year friendiversary, baby. We can’t just do nothing. I’ll figure something out, don’t worry. You’ll love it.”
It would be hard to admit that a trip to Florida in the middle of the season was what you were expecting from Jack. He had practically thrust the tickets into your hand, informing you that you had less than three hours to pack, all while giving you a list of the specific outfits he wanted you to bring.
You knew almost immediately that Jack had definitely not planned the celebration alone, just by the Airbnb that you pulled up in front of. First, you didn’t even realize he knew what an Airbnb was. Second of all, there was no way Jack Hughes had managed to find a place this gorgeous on his own.
Shooting a message to P.K. was your first priority, knowing full well he was the likely culprit behind the gorgeous booking in front of you.
“Okay, so I have a full itinerary. Tonight, we’re just going to chill, relax, get situated, maybe break the house in, you know… the usual stuff,” ending his sentence off with a wink, Jack grabbed your hand and pulled you along behind him.
“Tomorrow we’re going to head out to the marina that I don’t know the exact name of but will figure out and we’re gonna spend most of the day on the water, and then dinner… obviously. Sunday, you have to plan. I’ll pay… but you have to plan.”
Giggling into his ear as you pressed your body closer to his to press a gentle kiss on the nape of his neck, Jack tilted his head to the side with a small grin plastered across his lips.
“Sounds like the perfect weekend, baby. I think we should probably get started on your plans for today.” The grin never left his lips as he whipped around to press them to yours, his body moulding against yours easily.
The next day came quicker than you were expecting, Jack picking out your outfit as you picked his. That was something you both just found easier; there was no one else you would ever let pick your outfit, Jack just… knew you. He knew your style, knew what you did and didn’t like, knew what would fly and what wouldn’t. Small things like that with him were easy, everything was easy when it came to him.
“Well, don’t you look sexy. Damn, I’m so good at picking your fits. Should I quit hockey, maybe get into fashion? You could be my main model, baby.” Laughing as he wrapped you up in his arms with a smile, his happiness infectious.
Shaking your head against his chest, you peaked up at him from between his arms. “I don’t think you should quit your day job, maybe get some pointers before you start making drastic decisions like that. Can’t use you as my future trophy husband if you’re going to up and quit the job that makes you that.”
Pinching your side gently, Jack just smiled as he pulled away and interlocked his fingers with his.
It didn’t take you long to get to the marina in the car he had rented, everyone greeting the both of you politely as they directed you towards the boat Jack had rented for the day. You almost stopped in your tracks when you observed the setup on the boat; a picnic basket set up, non-alcoholic champagne on ice, fairy lights adorning the inside edges of the boat.
“Damn, I didn’t read the fine print when I booked. Just said I wanted the closest setup to an anniversary they could get, guess they went all out,” popping his hip into yours gently with a beam.
“Jack, do you even have your boating license?”
Eyeing the steering wheel with a curious look, you turned towards your boyfriend just in time to see him roll his eyes and glare at you playfully. “No, this place just let a random guy with no boating license rent a boat. Obviously, I have my boating license.”
Rolling your eyes back, you tapped his side as you made your way to the small seat next to the drivers. It only took a few moments to get out from the dock, far enough away that you and Jack could have some privacy without being too far and worrying how you were going to get back.
“Do you remember the first day we met? Other than when I accidentally exploded my yogurt tube all over you? You told me that boys were icky, and all they did was ruin everything,” nodding your head with a loud laugh, you let your mind wander to your first few years with Jack.
“Crazy how things have changed, huh? I remember going home that night and telling my mom I needed to get those stupid yogurt tubes so I could hit them against the desk and do what you did to me, she said no real quick.”
Smiling softly towards you, you could see the love in his eyes the way he looked at you, the softness that crossed his features every time you were on his mind or in his sight. It had been the same look he had given you since you both were fifteen, Jack never having eyes for anyone except you.
Standing up and holding his hand out, you took it and allowed him to pull you from your seat and towards the picnic basket and bottle of champagne.
“It always makes me laugh; I told my mom back when I first moved from Sauga to Michigan that I wasn’t sure how I was going to live without you. She said you’d always be there, even if you weren’t physically there. Pretty sure that was when I realized you were more than just a friend to me, then I moved and wasn’t sure what’d happen. Never really thought we’d get here, honestly.”
Sighing as he sat down, Jack gestured for you to sit in his lap, both of your legs extended out in front of you as he ruffled through the picnic basket beside him.
“I say it a lot, but I’m so glad you sprayed that yogurt all over me. It sucked, but I don’t think we’d be where we are without it,” nodding his head gently as he rested his cheek on the top of your head.
“You know, you’ve been my best friend for ten years, why not just change it to husband and wife?”
Swivelling around to look at him, you almost cried when you saw the little black box in his hand, his eyes glistening at he looked at you. Moving so he was directly on one knee and not sitting, your hands instantly pressed to your mouth.
“I’ve had this thing sitting around since my first season. So, I guess what I’m trying to say here is… I’ve been so grateful for your friendship and your unconditional love these last ten years, so how about we make it forever? Will you marry me?”
You couldn’t contain your body flying towards him, the aggressive nod of your head the only answer he needed.
note: so sorry that this is so late, but i hope you enjoy!! thank you so much for requesting. and yes i did steal mitch marner's proposal idea for this thank u very much simply bc i have reason to believe jack would too

Secret’s Out
Father of Mine – Part 1 and Part 2
Tumblr media
Bruce was looking at his emails when Y/N arrived at the table.
She was breathing heavily and her hair was a bit messy, just further proving she had rushed to get there.
“I’m so sorry I’m late,” she huffed embarrassingly. “My shoot ran over and every one was moving so slowly.”
Bruce smiled. “Y/N. Relax.”
Then he stood up to greet her with a kiss on the cheek.
The two of them hadn’t seen each other in over a month. Y/N had been traveling for work constantly. And between the vigilante life and Wayne Enterprises, Bruce was running on 2 hours of sleep on the daily.
“I need a drink,” Y/N finally sighed after she got situated.
As if on cue, their waitress dropped Y/N’s favorite drink in front of her.
Y/N eyed Bruce with surprise.
He just shrugged.
Sometimes Y/N forgot how much her father noticed literally everything.
“Thank you,” she told the waitress.
“You’re overworking yourself,” Bruce said with a disapproving look.
She rolled her eyes. “Really? You’re not one to talk, Bruce.”
“You deserve a vacation. I’ll pay for it. Pick wherever you want. Bring Jason. Or some friends.”
She narrowed her eyes. “Bruce…”
It was a warning.
From the very start of their unconventional father-daughter relationship, Y/N had made it clear that she could not be bought. And Bruce spoiling her made her extremely uncomfortable. Even now, she still tried to at least split restaurant checks with him. Bruce always won those battles though.
“I’ll take a vacation when you do,” she finally countered.
That sure shut him up.
“Hey, I actually brought you something,” Y/N changed the subject as she reached for her bag.
A moment later, she lightly placed a manila folder onto the table.
Bruce’s brow furrowed as he reached for it.
As soon as he opened it, he froze.
“I had to clean out some stuff and put things into storage,” Y/N explained. “I found all my mom’s photos. I figured I could make copies of some childhood photos for you.”
Bruce’s silence made Y/N nervous.
“If you don’t want them, that’s totally fine.” She started to reach for the folder out of Bruce’s grip with awkward embarrassment. “It was stupid–”
But Bruce quickly pulled the folder closer to him and stopped her from taking the photos from him.
“Thank you,” he announced.
It made Y/N quickly sit back in her chair, caught off guard by his sincere reaction and how he’d immediately become protective of the photos.
Bruce awkwardly cleared his throat. “Thank you, Y/N.”
He repeated to make sure she understood how thankful he truly was. And Y/N suspected the throat clearing was to hide his emotions.
Now she watched as Bruce slowly went through every picture. He took in every detail with a soft smile.
These weren’t just photos. These were all of Y/N’s memories that Bruce missed, that he could never get back. And he was savoring all of them.
Then Bruce paused and was fully smiling now.
“What?” Y/N asked.
She didn’t know why all of this made her so nervous.
Bruce didn’t say anything as he lifted a photo and flipped it to show her.
It wasn’t from her childhood.
It was a black and white photo of Jason. A candid from when he had escorted her around the slums of Gotham for her most recent gallery show.
After months of thinking about it, Y/N finally had decided she wanted to frame it and hang it somewhere in her apartment.
Y/N’s jaw dropped with embarrassment and she ripped it from his hands.
“I was developing some photos at the same time as I was making the copies. Must’ve gotten mixed up in those,” Y/N explained too quickly, unable to meet Bruce’s gaze.
It made Bruce happy to know that Y/N didn’t have the same inability to love someone and let people in like he did. It was a relief that she didn’t isolate herself from it like he had. If her mother was still alive, Bruce would thank her for it. But if Y/N’s mother were alive, he would’ve never known about Y/N in the first place.
Their entire dinner was spent with Bruce looking at the old photos. He had at least two questions for each one. Some of them Y/N didn’t remember being taken. But most of them came with stories or a loving memory.
Y/N talked for most of the meal. But that’s exactly what Bruce wanted.
Furthermore, Bruce had nothing of value to update her on. Batman business had consumed his life as of lately, and he had made a promise to never involve Y/N in any of it. And Jason seemed to be on the same page when it came to his other life as Red Hood.
Both men seemed determined to keep her safe and away from it all.
Two hours later, Bruce was paying the check and helping Y/N into her coat.
“I’ll give you a ride home,” he muttered as they started walking out.
Y/N had learned by now to give up on those small battles. Jason was the same way when it came to making sure she got home safely.
As they made their way to the exit, Y/N caught a few stares from other patrons who were still eating.
“Do you ever get used to it?” She asked her father in a low voice.
“Get used to what?” He asked, genuinely unaware of what she was getting at.
“People gawking at you.”
Bruce glanced around and unintentionally glared at anyone who was staring at Y/N.
“It’s good that I’m seen in public…for obvious reason,” he hinted in a quiet voice, obviously talking about needing the cover to continue his life as a masked vigilante.
Once they were outside, Alfred was already waiting at the curb with the Rolls-Royce. He greeted Y/N with a hug and a kiss to her cheek before opening the door for her and Bruce.
When they got to Y/N’s apartment building, she said her goodbyes to Alfred. And Bruce walked Y/N all the way up to her door.
Even though Y/N insisted it was overkill and she could get up the stairs on her own just fine, Bruce had seen too many terrible things in this forsaken city. He could think of thousands of things that could happen to Y/N between the car and her front door.
Once Y/N realized that Bruce’s paranoia came from experience, she stopped trying to stop his chivalry and overprotective ways. She finally understood that Bruce had seen things that would prevent her from ever sleeping again. So if walking Y/N to her door gave him a little peace of mind, she wasn’t going to take that away from him.
Y/N turned to Bruce when they reached her door. “Thanks again for dinner.”
“Of course. I’m glad we could spend some time together. Thank you again for the photos.”
Y/N didn’t realize that Bruce was about to hang every single one around Wayne Manor.
She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and a hug. “Get home safe.”
——————
Y/N woke up wrapped strong arms, her body overheating slightly.
When she had come home from dinner last night, Jason had already left for patrol.
He hadn’t woken her up when he got back home, just proving how exhausted Y/N had been these past few weeks.
But it was the continuous buzzing vibrations of her phone that woke her up. When she brightened the screen, she saw that she had dozens of text messages and three missed called from Bruce.
“What the fuck,” Y/N whispered as she started opening them.
But they were all about the same thing.
Everyone had sent her similar articles from various gossip websites or news outlets.
BRUCE WAYNE’S NEW GIRLFRIEND IS FAMOUS PHOTOGRAPHER Y/F/N Y/L/N
BRUCE WAYNE’S FLAVOR OF THE WEEK
IS Y/F/N Y/L/N USING THE PRINCE OF GOTHAM TO FURTHER HER CAREER?
All of the headlines were joined with photos of Bruce and Y/N having dinner last night. Apparently other customers at the restaurant had snuck photos of Bruce greeting her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Y/N could see how it would be misinterpreted as romantic and not familial or platonic. But it still made her sick to see the photos twisted in such a way.
Then there were paparazzi photos of them getting in a car together. Of course there were none of Bruce dropping her off and them going their separate ways. That would be just too convenient for the two of them.
Y/N’s stomach dropped with panic.
“Fuck. Fuck. Fuck,” she gasped without realizing it.
Jason immediately woke up. “What is it?”
Y/N ignored him and called Bruce.
“I’m handling it,” was how Bruce answered her call.
“Handling it? How exactly?” She challenged. “We can deny the rumors all we want. But everyone is going to keep tabs on us now, and they’re going to see us together again.”
Jason grabbed his own phone.
One of his brothers must’ve sent him a similar article because he rubbed his face in annoyance, finally understanding the situation.
Nothing like your girlfriend being rumored to have a relationship with her father, who was also your mentor and adoptive father.
“Y/N, it will blow over. It always does,” Bruce tried to calm her down.
“So what happens when I get photographed with Jason? Huh? They’re going to just say I’m cheating on both of you with each other or some fucked up shit like that.”
Bruce was silent, because they both knew she was right.
Y/N glanced at Jason, who was already waiting for her gaze.
She took in a deep breath and pinched the bridge of her nose. “Maybe we should…Maybe we should just tell the truth.”
“You’ve never wanted that, Y/N.” Bruce tried to argue.
And he was right.
Y/N was terrified of being associated with the Wayne family. People would start believing she secretly built her career off of nepotism that no one was aware of. She also didn’t want that type of attention from the media and the upperclass of Gotham.
“I don’t think we have any other choice,” Y/N finally answered.
Jason reached for thigh and gripped it, trying to offer her some sort of comfort.
“Y/N, are you sure about this?” Bruce asked slowly.
“No. Not at all. But I’d rather not have the public think I’m dating my biological father.”
“OK,” Bruce sighed. “I’ll talk to my publicist today.”
“OK.” She bit her lip before adding. “Just…tell them the whole story.”
“Y/N, if you’re worried how it will make me look, don’t.”
“But I am worried about it, Bruce. They’re going to drag you for being an absent father. And none of that is true. They’re not gonna understand.”
“I’ll call you later with an update,” he told her softly before hanging up.
Y/N tossed her phone to the foot of the bed in frustration.
Jason watched as she buried her face in her hands.
“You OK?” He asked as he rubbed her back.
“No,” she answered honestly.
“Come here.” Jason pulled her into his chest.
There was no fight from her as he cuddled her tightly.
“This is a fucking nightmare,” she groaned into his shoulder.
“I know. But maybe it’s for the best,” he tried to reason with her.
“And what happens when they catch wind that I’m dating my father’s adoptive son? Huh?”
“We’re not actually related, Y/N.”
She pulled her face back so she could glare at him. “Yeah! We know that! But you do understand that people are going to see it that way, right? Like we’re gonna look like some fucked up incestual couple to them.”
“I don’t really care,” Jason finally told her.
“You don’t care?” She scoffed.
“No,” his answer and confidence didn’t waver. “I don’t give a fuck what people say about us, Y/N. If exposing the truth means we don’t have to think twice about going to events or even just going out to dinner, then I’m all for it. I’m sick of hiding our relationship.”
Y/N blinked. She never considered that their subtle relationship bothered him in any way. She was always a strangely private person, so it felt normal to her. But clearly Jason had been wanting to be a bit more public with their relationship.
“What if this changes everything?” Y/N whispered, not meeting his eyes.
Jason smirked at that and gripped her chin, lifting it up so she would look at him. “Some paparazzi and trash tabloids aren’t going to change how I feel about you, Y/N.”
Y/N laughed lightly at that.
“Maybe we should leave Gotham for a bit,” she offered. “Bruce won’t shut up about paying for a vacation for us.”
Jason nodded. “I think that sounds like a good idea. You’ve needed a break for awhile now.”
“Well…where do you wanna go?” Y/N asked.
“Doesn’t matter to me. As long as you’re there.”
She rolled her eyes and hit Jason in the face with a pillow. “God, you really are a sap.”
Y/N appreciated Jason always being able to make her feel better and feel supported.
But even he couldn’t stop her from wondering...
What would life be like as a Wayne?
