18+ slight smut (unprotected piv), sex tapes, mentions of anal, jealous!reader, weirdo behavior
⋆ ★ thinking about how dad!rafe constantly gets hit on by slutty moms and how you have to come in and set them straight : (
Rafe loved his baby girl, but he would bash his fist into the wall if he had to listen to Somewhere Over the Rainbow get played as he watched his little girl prance around in her ballet class one more time.
Don't get him wrong, Rafe loved spending the daddy-daughter time with his little girl, and it was something (even more) persuasive about your daughter wearing an adorable pink tutu that made him agree to get ice cream after Every. Single. Class.
It was the other parents (and The Best of Oz) who made it so insufferable—not just the other parents—the moms.
The dads were particularly cool. They typically sat there like Rafe, hunched over into a man's spread, aggressively typing on their phones.
But the moms--no--the fucking moms always wanted to talk, but not just talk, flirt!
The moms were like cougars, always purposely sitting down next to Rafe, peering over his shoulder, debating whether they should talk to him.
When they finally do muster enough courage to talk to him (the ones that do), they typically say some dumb shit, like:
"My heart always goes out to single fathers; it does. I’m single, too. We should grab a drink sometime.”
It was only Cynthia Fucking Allen that asked Rafe dumb shit like this.
It was dumb because she knew that Rafe wasn't a single father and knew well that you two were happily married.
The other moms were never as Bold as Cynthia. They typically just tried to talk with Rafe to talk to someone as attractive as he was—which Rafe didn't mind.
Cynthia was a cougar because she didn't fear rejection. She'd never turn down an opportunity to make a pass at Rafe--whether it was inviting him over to dinner or trying to set up "supervised playdates” (which Rafe had always turned her down) or going as far as complimenting his derrière in his khakis.
And though Cynthia's constant badgering was becoming a nuisance to Rafe, Rafe never needed to cut into Cynthia because deep down, Rafe had felt bad for the woman.
Rafe had once heard from you, who heard from one of the other mothers that Mr. Allen, Cynthia's husband, had filed for a divorce. So maybe she was just trying to get her groove back or something, Rafe thought.
Shockingly, you were the one to snap and cut into Cynthia for her nuisance behavior, finally.
It was a stupid and risky idea, and you don't know what had come over you, honestly. It was something the Queen Bee would do in a raunchy teen movie.
You had sent Cynthia a video of Rafe full-on fucking you.
And I mean, you went all out. A tripod was set up and everything.
It was an 11-minute length video of Rafe fucking you in two positions.
For five minutes straight, Rafe took you from behind--your plush ass dangling off the edge of the bed as Rafe pounded into your sopping loud cunt, standing up, with his thumb occasionally pressing into your asshole.
With each thrust from Rafe's hips was met with your ass, causing the skin-on-skin slapping to fill the room.
And then for another five minutes, he fucked you in missionary--with your legs pressed to his sides, Rafe sucking and biting your neck and cursing in your ear about how this is "Your dick."
You had made sure to include a minute of Rafe jacking off and cumming on the folds of your pussy and onto your clit. Then, you told Rafe to hurry up and grab the phone and record him fucking his cum deep inside of you because you were the only one indeed that owned Rafe's cock, and seemingly Cynthia needed to be reminded of that.
When you sent the video to Cynthia, you set it on vanishing mode and made sure it was to be deleted as soon as she finished watching it, so if she ever mentioned it, it was her word against yours.
You never told Rafe about sending Cynthia your sex tape, and Cynthia never brought it up, but you knew she had gotten the message since she never bothered Rafe again afterwards.

No one made any distinction to me when I was growing up when a word wasn’t English. Andale was just another way to be told “hurry up,” and I was certain other parents told their kids, “Watch your cabesa,” when getting into the car. I laughed myself sick the first time I saw Dragon Ball Z because a ladies name was Chi Chi and I only knew that meant boobs.
All my moms family was brown and I desperately wished I was too. I wanted beautiful black hair like my mom and dark skin that didn’t burn. I didn’t like when people asked my mother if she was my nanny when they saw us together. I didn’t like that people told me I looked like my dad. They just meant I was pale.
I’d proudly announce to people that I was Mexican and become furious when they gaped or disbelieved me. My dads side has no cultural roots. When questioned my dad shrugs and says, “English maybe? I dunno.” I just wanted to be Mexican growing up. Alas, I’m only a quarter descendant of an immigrant family who vehemently didn’t want to be Mexican.
My great grandmother announced that we were American now, not Mexican. She embraced American culture as much as possible, while never learning English. My nana was put into school and punished anytime she spoke Spanish. She got caught halfway between both languages. Forced to spend her childhood raising her younger siblings she never learned to cook tamales with her mother and her friends.
When she had her own children she didn’t teach them Spanish. She used it to gossip with her own friends about them on the phone and resisted teaching them more than to come running when she shouted “Araña!” to kill a spider for her.
Thus came my mom, with her brown skin and dark hair, adrift from her culture but treated as lesser by her adopted one. My great grandmother would rejoice to see me as her descendant, white, ignorant of Spanish, the perfect American she wanted her family to be.
When I was born my nana shouted, “What’s that red on her?” only to realize it was my hair. She delighted in her palest grandchild, telling me often I was her favorite.
I’m used to the disbelief now when I tell people I’m Mexican. I can laugh and show pictures of my mom. My friend from work joked to me that I’m always coming out of the closet, over and over, because both my minority statuses aren’t as visible as her black skin.
I was recently lamenting this to a white southern friend the same one I cast psychic damage on during a DnD day. “I wish I could feel more connected to my culture, but I’d be such a fraud pretending my life is the same as other Hispanic people.”
“Skin color doesn’t matter,” he announced blithely to the choked outrage of our Indian friend in the kitchen, “You’re just as Mexican!”
I regarded him in astonishment and said, “I think skin color matters a lot. I am Mexican, but I don’t have the same cultural roots or experiences of people who are perceived as Mexican. My family didn’t pass the cultural heritage down. I think a lot of immigrant kids feel this way but it’s different for me.”
He rambled about how I’m just as valid and I quietly disregarded his advice. I could try to reconnect with my roots, but I know I’d just be another white girl pushing into a POC space.
Instead I make tamales by myself, sweating over the steaming corn husks, and I snap at people who make racist jokes about my family to me, feeling safe because my skin is the same color as theirs.

“You look so handsome like this…” a sultry chuckle is followed by a warm kiss to the lips. The man with a receding hairline laughs in a slimy way, welcoming the woman into his lap. Arms settled around her midsection, indulging in her lips.
The moment is quickly shut down when an intruding voice cuts in. “Haruka! Some guy is waiting for you at the door.”
With a huff, she pulls back. Lip curled up into a scowl, turning her head over her shoulder to face the man at the top of the stairs. “Tell ‘em I’m busy, damn it!” She snarls out.
The man sighs and rubs his bald head. “I already did. He said he wants to speak to you, now hurry up here.”
When the door slams shut, she turns back to her customer. “I’ll be back.” She smiles and kisses his wrinkly cheek before getting up and off his lap. She fixes her clothing, a simple tank top and shorts. Looking at the small mirror, she frowns and straightens down her hair. She’s reminded to dye her hair black again to cover up the incoming gray hairs that always greet her nowadays. She applies her usual red lick back to her skin, perking them up with a small pop noise. Her eyes, beady and dark, fixate back up at the door while her feet drag her.
Once she’s up in the main portion of the building, she rounds a corner and sees a neatly suited man standing at the front desk. The man who called her attention before gives her a certain look before walking off and letting her deal with it. She smiles, leaning against the hardwood. “Why, hello there, handsome. How may I help you today?”
The man, undeterred and stoic, regards her with barely any emotion. The dark sunglasses on his face obscuring his eyes and Haruka’s brow twitches for a moment in annoyance. She still keeps up her game, however. Resting her cheek against her palm. “Well? How can I—”
“Ms. Haruka, right?”
The stranger’s voice is deep and defined, causing Haruka’s eyebrows to raise in interest. Her smile widens and she hums playfully. “Ah, well depends on who’s asking. If it’s you, then you can call me Candy.” She whispers the last part, leaning in like she told him a big secret; giggling to herself.
The man spares a brief glance down at his wristwatch. Haruka notices its pristine gold, oh how valuable. An idea is already forming in her head when she looks back at the man’s black, circular shades. But what he says next causes her body to go into a temporary state of comatose.
“Are you the mother of Y/N L/N? If so, please come with me. There are some things my bosses would like to discuss with you.”
It’s the day after Christmas. You luckily got the day off and you’ve just been lounging around your place with Koji. Eating some leftovers and cleaning up a bit, watching him rave about the new toys he got; it’s a pleasant sight. Satoru hasn’t texted you anything today, and while you’re not holding him to that expectation, there’s a part of you that worries he’s still angry. Or maybe even upset at the gift you got him. It probably brought up negative emotions for him. But it was a last minute thing and you assumed he would greatly appreciate it.
Maybe your assumption was wrong.
You shake off the thought, refusing to dwell on it. Satoru has always been hard to read, and overanalyzing his silence won’t do you any good. Instead, you focus on Koji, who’s currently making his action figures reenact some elaborate battle scene on the coffee table. His laughter echoes through the room, bright and infectious, pulling a small smile from you.
“Koji, don’t forget to put the smaller pieces back in the box when you’re done,” you remind him gently.
“Okay, Mama!” he chirps, not looking up from his imaginary world.
You take another bite of your leftovers, savoring the quiet domesticity of the moment. It’s not often you get a day to just relax like this. Still, that nagging thought about Satoru lingers in the back of your mind, no matter how much you try to ignore it. Your fingers reach up, feeling for the star pendant Suguru got you. Smiling to yourself as your fingertips graze over the metal. You’re suddenly reminded of the fact that you haven’t thanked him.
You grab your phone, thumb hovering over his contact. It’s a small debate to call or text him, unsure of which is more…appropriate. Maybe he’s busy or maybe he wouldn’t mind a phone call at this time. You bite your lip, inhaling deeply then letting it go, deciding that your gratitude would feel more authentic if he actually heard you say it.
You click the call button and within the second ring, his voice lightens up the other end. “Hello?”
You clear your throat before speaking. “Hey, Suguru,” you say softly, twirling the pendant between your fingers. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”
“Not at all,” he replies warmly, a hint of curiosity in his tone. “What’s up?”
As you pause for a moment, your thoughts are being gathered. “I just wanted to thank you… for the gift. The pendant, it’s beautiful.” Your voice dips slightly, the sincerity in your words undeniable. “You didn’t have to, but… it means a lot to me.”
There’s a brief silence on his end before he chuckles softly. “I’m glad you like it. I figured it’d suit you.”
You can’t help but smile, your fingers still tracing the small, intricate patterns on the pendant. “It does. Koji said it makes me look pretty.”
Suguru laughs at that, the sound soft and familiar. “He’s not wrong. The kid’s got good taste.”
A small heat pools in your stomach, cheeks blushing a bit. When you glance over at Koji, you notice just how engrossed he still is in his action figures. “He’s been talking about that Spider-Man you got him nonstop. He even took it to bed with him last night.”
“Really? That’s adorable,” Suguru comments, his tone light but carrying an underlying fondness. “I’m glad he liked it. He’s a great kid.”
“He is,” you agree, your voice softening. “I’m lucky to have him.”
There’s a pause, the silence between you both comfortable yet loaded with things left unsaid. Finally, Suguru breaks it. “How are you doing? After last night, I mean. Satoru told me he was going over.”
The question catches you off guard, and for a moment, you’re unsure how to answer. “I’m… okay,” you eventually get out, though it feels like a half-truth. “It was just… a lot. But we did it. For Koji.”
He hums from the other side. “Yeah, that’s good. I figured.” A moment of pause before he continues. “Satoru can be… intense, especially when it comes to you and Koji.”
You let out a small, humorless laugh. “That’s one way to put it.”
“But other than that, it was good?”
“Yeah, I think so.”
He smiles. “I’m glad, you two deserve a good Christmas.”
With one hand, you bring your dirty dishes to the sink, the other keeping your phone to your ear. “What about you? Was yours good too?”
Suguru’s voice sighs wistfully. “It was, yeah. My team and I spent it handing out some gifts and hot chocolate to the kids. Seeing their faces light up with joy like that, it makes you feel really good, you know?”
Your heart warms at his words, picturing Suguru in his element—kind, compassionate, always thinking of others. You’re reminded back to the time you saw him that day with Koji. “That sounds wonderful,” you speak softly, leaning against the counter. “You’re really amazing for doing that, Suguru. Those kids are lucky to have someone like you.”
He chuckles modestly, the sound low and comforting. “I don’t know about amazing, but thanks. It’s just something small I can do. Makes the holidays feel more meaningful.”
You smile, twirling the pendant again as you consider his words. “It’s more than small. It’s thoughtful. It’s... you.” The words slip out before you can stop them, and you feel your cheeks flush immediately. Embarrassment floods your insides.
There’s a brief silence on his end, followed by a soft laugh. “You’re too kind. But coming from you, I’ll take it as a high compliment.”
You shake your head, grinning despite yourself. “It’s not kindness. It’s the truth.”
Koji’s excited shout from the living room snaps you back to the moment. He’s discovered a new pose for his Spider-Man, proudly showing it off as he runs over. “Mama, look!”
Suguru must hear the commotion, his tone lightening further. “Sounds like someone’s having a good time.”
“He is,” you say, watching Koji’s eyes sparkle with joy. You nod in astonishment. When your son is satisfied with your praise, he rushes back to the coffee table. “He’s been nonstop since yesterday. I think this Spider-Man might be his new best friend.”
“Then my mission was a success,” Suguru replies with a chuckle. “I’ll have to find something to top it next year.”
You bite the inside of your cheek while his words bring a pang of guilt. It’s strange; how easy it is to talk to Suguru, how natural it feels to share these moments. And yet, there’s a part of you that wonders if you’re leaning on him too much, especially with everything unresolved with Satoru. You wonder if what you’re doing is wrong, and considering Satoru’s reaction to his friend’s gift to you, you feel like you’re almost…betraying Satoru.
“Thank you again, Suguru,” you repeat, your voice calmer now. “For everything. You didn’t have to go out of your way for us, but you did, and it means a lot.”
“You don’t have to thank me,” he says gently. “You and Koji... you guys are important to me too, you know?”
The weight of his words settles over you, warm and steady. “That means a lot to me too.”
There’s another comfortable pause before Suguru clears his throat. “Well, I should let you get back to your day. I’m glad you called, though. Don’t be a stranger, okay?”
“Okay,” you promise, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Take care, Suguru.”
“You too,” he says, his voice lingering for a moment before the call ends.
As you set your phone down, you glance at Koji, who’s now back to his world of action figures. You can’t help but feel grateful for the people in your life now who care so deeply about you and your son.
But even with that gratitude, your thoughts drift back to Satoru, the press, his parents. And you ponder over the idea of what he’s doing right now, whether he’s holding onto the photograph, if he set it up somewhere; and what it might mean for the three of you moving forward.
There’s no time to start drowning in your thoughts any longer. You’ve already done that yesterday and practically every other day before that. A bigger question has been gnawing at you, and now that you have some free time, you figure you should look into it now. Grabbing your laptop, turning it on and clicking on Google once the screen awakens. The small business card is placed to your right as you type away the company name in the search bar.
You click on the first link.
It takes you to an entire directory of the services of Carlisle & Harlow.
The website loads quickly, its sleek design showcasing high-end properties and exclusive services. The polished images of luxurious estates, private jets, and lavish vacation homes scroll past as you navigate through the various tabs. The site is clearly designed to appeal to an elite audience—every detail is immaculate. You skim through the different services offered, including property management, concierge arrangements, personal assistants, and lifestyle coaching. It all feels a bit too polished, almost like an invitation into a world you’ve only ever seen from the outside.
You feel a slight unease in your stomach. Your mind races back to the business card Evelyn gave you—one that seemed so out of place given everything else you’ve seen in your life. You click through to the “About Us” section, hoping to find more answers about what the company actually does or who else is behind it.
The page provides a brief history, detailing the company’s founding by the woman, Evelyn Carlisle and her now deceased husband, Noah Harlow—both of whom have since made a name for themselves in the luxury service industry.
You click on the “Our Team” link. Several executives are listed, each with brief bios that read like glowing resumes. Next, you click on the “Contact Us” tab, staring at the address listed—an upscale location in the city’s financial district. It’s the kind of place where secrets are hidden behind high walls and the name on the door probably has a lot of power behind it.
Taking a deep breath, you mull over this instance. Maybe it’s time to investigate further, but you’re not sure how much deeper you want to dig—especially not without some sort of plan. But that Evelyn woman seemed a little strange to you. It’s just the fact that everything felt quite planned out to you, like someone told her to come to your workplace and offer a job interview. Your intuition has always been right and ever since you became a mother, that increased tenfold. But, this seems like it might have more of a good outcome than a bad one.
You wouldn’t have to maintain the hard balance of working two jobs and a child. As you continue scrolling and clicking on multiple tabs within the website, one catches your interest.
‘About Our Founders’
You’re met with pictures of Evelyn and her husband, posing with what you can only assume are other businesspeople, with paragraphs of their background to go along with it. Nothing looks out of the ordinary so far, until a particular picture.
It’s Evelyn and her husband. Posing with Satoru and his father.
Your heart stops for a moment, your breath catching in your throat as you stare at the screen. The four of them are dressed impeccably, their expressions polished with smiles that feel carefully rehearsed. The caption beneath the photo reads:
“Celebrating five years of partnership between Carlisle & Harlow and the Gojo Group, fostering innovation and excellence in high-end luxury services.”
Your stomach churns. The idea of Satoru or his family being involved in this job offer. And it almost makes sense now—Evelyn showing up at your workplace, the too-perfect job offer, the strange sense of everything being orchestrated. It wasn’t a coincidence. It couldn’t be. Unless it is?
Your fingers hover over the trackpad, trembling slightly as you click on the bio beneath Evelyn’s photo. Her background is as pristine as expected: Ivy League education, years of experience in luxury branding, and a reputation for impeccable taste. But it’s the section about her connections that catches your eye:
"Evelyn Carlisle maintains close ties with prominent families, including the Gojo family, and has been instrumental in crafting tailored solutions for their elite clientele."
Your head spins. This isn’t just a job opportunity—it’s a calculated move. But why? Why now? And why through Evelyn instead of directly from Satoru or his family? You glance back at the business card on your table, its gold lettering gleaming in the soft light. It feels heavier now, like it’s carrying the weight of unseen motives.
Koji’s laughter breaks through your swirling thoughts, grounding you momentarily. You look over at him, playing so innocently, so unaware of the tangled web you’re beginning to unravel. Taking a deep breath, you close the laptop and sit back. Whatever this is, it’s not just about you anymore. If Evelyn’s offer is part of some larger scheme, you’ll need to figure out the truth before you make any decisions.
Maybe you’re overthinking this. The Gojo Group is huge and very obviously powerful, of course, they would have ties with Carlisle & Harlow. It’s not that far-fetched, right? It’s just a job opportunity, don’t think too much into it.
It’s around the next day at work now. Walking to the café, phone in hand. Rereading Satoru’s first text to you since you last saw him, it’s not entirely underwhelming, you just hoped that he would have expressed his gratitude for your gift.
Satoru:
Koji left his jacket here from last time, I’ll bring it over today
Your lips purse, thumbs going haywire over the bright screen. Should you ask if he enjoyed the gift? If he even opened it in the first place? Or maybe you’re dragging this out far too much. With a deep breath, entering the cafe, you type back:
You:
I thought you had work today
Satoru’s response comes almost immediately, as if he was waiting for you to text back.
Satoru:
I do, but I can swing by during lunch. The place is a little far from me, can I come to your job and drop it off?
You hesitate, wanting to type back a ‘no’ as soon as he asked. It would feel a little weird if he came. Satoru and your workplace just don’t seem to mix—and you don’t want them to. If he came, it would only further solidify the fact that he’s integrating himself into your life. Again, you’re probably overthinking things, he’s just dropping off your son’s jacket. But the thought of seeing him right now feels oddly nerve-inducing.
You:
Sure, I’m on lunch at 12
When you drop the pin of the café’s address, you pocket your phone and set your stuff down, tying the apron around your waist. Hana, on her phone texting, barely looks up when you enter. It’s becoming a bit more repetitive nowadays. Patting down the apron, you speak up. “Still talking to that Naoya guy?”
She hums and nods, giggling at something that was messaged before swiftly typing back a response. Your lips purse, brows knitting at her lack of acknowledgment for you. This guy must really be entrancing her. “He said he was coming today.”
“Oh, really?” You ask, offering a small smile. “I’ll finally meet the lucky guy.”
Hana’s eyes flick up at you briefly before returning to her phone, her cheeks slightly flushed. “Hm? Oh, yeah. but don’t embarrass me, okay?”
You let out a soft laugh, shaking your head as you grab a few boxes to refill the supplies up front behind the counter, cutting them open. “I’ll try not to. Just don’t expect me to be on my best behavior if he’s rude.”
She scoffs, though her grin betrays her amusement. “He’s not rude. You’ll like him, I think. He’s… different.”
You arch a brow, intrigued by her tone. “Different, huh? Guess we’ll see.”
Hana waves you off, clearly too engrossed in her conversation to elaborate further.
And so, the morning drags on, and you can’t help but notice Hana glancing at the door every few minutes, a mix of anticipation and nerves written all over her face. Meanwhile, you busy yourself with the usual flow of customers, though your own nerves begin to creep in as the clock inches closer to noon.
When the bell above the café door finally chimes, you glance up instinctively. A tall man with sharp features and an air of confidence steps in, scanning the room briefly before his gaze lands on Hana. His hair is slicked back neatly, and he’s dressed in a tailored coat that screams wealth and status. The tips of his hair dipped black, his eyes are so cat-like that it almost freaks you out at first.
Hana’s face lights up as she quickly puts the cleaning supplies that were in her hands down and waves him over. “Naoya!”
He strides over, a smirk tugging at his lips as he leans in to greet her with a kiss on the cheek. “Hana,” he says smoothly, his voice low and self-assured.
Your eyebrows raise at the blatant show of affection in front of not just you—but the rest of the customers. It’s slightly unlike Hana because you remember her telling you how much she despised PDA. Maybe Naoya is making her come out of her shell. That’s good, right? You watch the interaction from behind the counter, your initial impression of him forming almost immediately. There’s something about his demeanor—charming, yes, but also a little too smug for your liking. Your senses are telling you to be subtly on guard around this man.
Hana glances over at you, her smile widening. “Naoya, this is my coworker—”
“Friend,” you correct with a playful smile, giving her a tiny look. It’s strange how she was just going to introduce you as a coworker when she always calls you her friend. Not thinking too much of it, you step out from behind the counter to extend a hand. “Nice to meet you, Naoya. I’m Y/N.”
He takes your hand, his grip firm but calculated. His eyes flicker over you briefly, as if sizing you up. If possible, his grin widens, eyes growing more crescent-like. “Pleasure’s mine,” he says, though the smirk on his face doesn’t quite reach his eyes.
“So, you’re the one who’s been keeping Hana so distracted lately,” you remark lightly, folding your arms.
Naoya chuckles, his gaze shifting back to Hana. “She’s easy to talk to. Hard not to get distracted by her.”
Hana blushes, clearly pleased by the compliment, but you can’t shake the nagging feeling that there’s something a little… off about him. “Well,” you say, forcing a polite smile, “welcome to our humble abode. Let me know if you need anything.”
Naoya nods, his smirk unwavering. “Will do.”
As you step back behind the counter, you catch Hana giving you a warning glance, silently begging you not to say anything more. You just shrug, grabbing the rag Hana previously discarded to wipe down the counter, though you can’t help but keep an ear on their conversation. They convert over to a booth in the corner, seemingly for some privacy.
Something about Naoya sets your instincts on edge. Maybe it’s the way he carries himself, or the way his smile feels more like a performance than genuine warmth. He’s reminding you of Satoru, just more insidious. It’s probably a little rude of you to have such a critical judgment of the man who’s making your friend swoon, but isn’t that what friends, do? Making sure the men or women that come into their lives are worthy of it? Whatever it is, you make a mental note to keep an eye on him—if only for Hana’s sake.
You stop eavesdropping. Hana’s a grown woman, if anything, she knows what’s more right for her than you do. Besides, you’re one of the only ones working right now, so it’s better to focus on delivering customer service than ensuring the man in the corner (who has been keenly drifting his eyes towards your figure) is good enough for Hana. Hana, oblivious to your discomfort, continues chatting with Naoya, her smile wide as she laughs at something he says. Her back is turned to you, and all you can do is concentrate on the rising sense of unease in your gut. It’s the way Naoya’s posture remains open and confident, but there’s a hardness behind his eyes that doesn’t sit right with you. He seems like someone who expects to get what he wants, and the thought of him using his charm to manipulate Hana makes you clench your fists beneath the counter. You’re just trying to understand the strange energy he brings into the environment. Maybe it’s your overactive imagination, but you still can’t shake the perception that there’s more to this man than Hana is seeing.
As you refocus on your tasks, you can physically feel the weight of Naoya’s gaze lingering on you. It’s subtle, but unsettling—like he’s paying more attention to you than he is Hana. You shake it off, putting your mind into the register as a customer walks up to place an order. However, the uneasy feeling stays with you. You move through the motions of your shift. Every time you briefly glance over to the booth, his gaze is drawn to you. Not in the way you’d expect a person to look at someone they’ve just met, but with something more calculating. It’s almost as if he’s analyzing you, but why?
You don’t even know how long it has been, at least 15 orders later, when the two walk back up to the front. Hana grabs your attention. “Y/N, Naoya brought up a really good idea. His friend owns that new bar I was telling you about a few weeks ago! Do you want to go out tomorrow after your other job?”
You glance up, a bit surprised by the invitation. It’s not like you haven’t been out with Hana before, but something about tonight feels odd. Maybe it’s Naoya’s presence, or maybe it’s the weird sense of being observed earlier. Still, it’s a chance to unwind, and Hana seems genuinely excited.
You give a soft smile, though it feels a little strained. “I don’t know, Hana. I’ve got a lot on my plate. Plus, I’m not sure about the bar idea... not really in the mood for crowds.”
Her eyes widen, and she steps closer, lowering her voice. “Come on, you deserve a break. You’ve been working so hard lately. It’ll be fun, I promise.”
You meet her eyes, trying to gauge her sincerity. She’s always been good at getting you to loosen up when you're feeling overwhelmed. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to go for just a little while, but you still have reservations about Naoya. “Alright, I’ll think about it. I’ll see if I can get out earlier,” you say, trying to keep your tone light. “But no promises.”
Hana’s face lights up. “Yay! I knew you’d come around.” She looks over her shoulder at Naoya, who’s standing a few feet away, reading the two of you with an unreadable expression.
You suddenly feel like this moment might be the start of something unpredictable. As much as you want to just go with the flow for Hana, a part of you ponders if there’s more to Naoya’s invitation than just a night out. But, for now, you push the thought aside.
“Well, you don’t want to miss out,” Naoya speaks up, chuckling to himself. “Just try. It’s called No Man’s Land. I’ll be there around 10:30 tomorrow night, hopefully I'll see you both there.”
You nod slowly, still hesitant about the whole thing. Something about the way Naoya phrased it—so casual, so sure of himself—rubs you the wrong way. There’s an underlying expectation in his words like he’s already decided that you’ll both show up. You’re not sure if it’s just his personality or something more, but the thought of him controlling the situation leaves you with a strange feeling. Hana, though, looks delighted. “It’ll be so much fun, Y/N. Just relax. A drink or two won’t hurt.” She flashes you a grin before turning back to Naoya, all smiles as she talks about what they’ll do at the bar.
You’re like an outsider, watching as Hana becomes more entangled in Naoya’s charm. You wonder if she sees it too—the little things about him that don’t add up. The way he already seems like the type of man to be just one step ahead with a plan. But she’s excited, so you don’t want to rain on her parade. Besides, you can always back out later if it doesn’t feel right.
Luckily, she sees him out right after.
And unluckily, you’re waiting outside on your break for Satoru sooner rather than later.
You glance at your phone once more, watching the minutes tick by. Your break feels longer than it should, and the anticipation of seeing Satoru again only adds to the anxiety that’s been building ever since your last interaction. You tell yourself it’s just a quick exchange—Koji’s jacket, nothing more. But every moment feels charged as if something is on the verge of shifting.
The cool air outside offers a bit of relief, though the tension in your chest doesn’t quite let up. You stand near the corner of the café, eyes scanning the street for any sign of him. The sound of footsteps approaches, and you turn, only to find Satoru strolling toward you with his usual carefree aura.
“Hey,” he greets, his tone light, but there’s something different about the way his eyes stay on you—something that feels almost too familiar. He holds out the jacket. “Koji’s jacket. Didn’t want to leave him without it.”
You take the jacket from him, the weight of it making you more aware of the subtle intimacy of the moment. “Thanks,” you say, trying to keep your voice steady. “I appreciate it.”
He doesn’t say anything immediately, just watches you for a beat too long. You shift on your feet, suddenly feeling acutely aware of the silence hanging between you.
“Is that all?” you ask, hoping the question doesn’t come off too abrupt.
Satoru tilts his head as if considering something. “What do you mean?”
God, you hate it when he plays stupid like this. It forces you to be outright with what you want to say. Standing up straighter, chin tilting high. “I mean…like—well I guess what I’m trying to say is that…did you open…the gift I gave you?”
Satoru’s gaze shifts slightly, his usual simmering confidence faltering just enough to make you second-guess yourself. He pauses like he’s weighing your question more carefully than he typically would. For a moment, you wonder if you’ve overstepped—if you’ve asked something too personal or too vulnerable. The silence stretches between you like a taut wire.
“Your gift?” he finally says, the corner of his mouth lifting just a bit. He sounds almost amused, but there’s a hint of something else in his voice, something you can’t quite pin down.
You feel a wave of heat rise in your cheeks, but you stand your ground. “Yeah. The one I gave you on Christmas.” The words feel clumsy as they leave your mouth, but you can’t take them back now.
Satoru’s expression shifts, the air tensing slightly. “I did,” he says simply, as though it’s nothing. “It was… nice.”
You want to push him further, to demand more of a response, but something about the way he says it makes you hesitate. Is that all? You want to ask again. Was it just “nice”? That’s all? After everything—the thought you put into the gift, the small but meaningful gesture—you wonder if maybe it didn’t even register with him the way it did with you. Maybe you were right, he didn’t even open it and is now coming up with a bullshit response because you put him on blast.
But you don’t want to push too hard. You already feel like you’re treading on delicate ground. So you force yourself to smile, even though it feels a little stiff. “Well, I’m glad you liked it,” you reply, not entirely sure if you believe your own words.
There’s another beat of silence, and then Satoru shifts his weight slightly, signalling that he’s about to leave. “I should get going. Got some things to take care of,” he says, but he doesn’t immediately turn away.
Instead, his eyes flicker down to your hands, where you’re still holding Koji’s jacket. “Take care of yourself,” he adds, his tone softening just a bit.
You nod, trying to hide the strange pang in your chest. “You too,” you reply, though your voice is quieter now.
His lips thin into an awkward smile. It’s one you give a stranger or someone you barely know—but that’s how things feel between you now, isn’t it? It’s really not worth dwelling over the tiny things that further more prove the horrid line of connection between you two. But for some reason, it still hurts and picks at your heart.
That moment is quickly splashed away when a familiar—but teeth-gritting voice squeals from behind Satoru. Your grip tightens on Koji’s jacket. Satoru’s shoulders tense up.
“Satoru! Why’d you leave me in that boutique? It took forever to find you!”
She appears next to Satoru, her presence immediate and unmistakable. Her eyes flicker between you and Satoru with a mix of scrutiny and something else that you can’t quite place. She’s dressed in something designer, as usual, with that polished, effortless look that screams of wealth and status. Her gaze lingers on you for a moment longer than necessary, a quiet challenge in her eyes.
You feel a knot twist in your stomach, an all-too-familiar sense of discomfort settling into your chest. Satoru’s gaze meets yours for just a moment before he shifts his attention to Himari. “Sorry, didn’t mean to leave you hanging,” he says, his tone light but lacking its usual warmth.
Himari, not seeming to notice or care about the tension in the air, flashes you a tight-lipped smile that screams fake. “Oh, well look who it is. The leech.”
“Himari.” Satoru gruffs under his breath, giving his girlfriend a dirty side-eye.
“What? One minute we're spending the day together and the next you’re here with…her.”
Your jaw clenches, noticing the tug Satoru gives the other woman to the back of her dress, lowly whispering something into her ear. But her facial expression doesn’t deter, and neither does her snaky persona.
“I thought you had work.” You utter, eyes flickering back to Satoru.
His brows tighten, huffing out an exasperated breath. Before he can respond, she does it for him. “If you consider being by my side and treating all my needs work, then yeah, he is working.” She giggles at her own joke, making a show of turning his head towards her and plopping a kiss on his pink lips. It lasts only a few seconds before he pulls away.
But even those few seconds feel like a lifetime.
You feel the bite of Himari’s words, even if they’re clearly meant to dig into you. The word “leech” still stings, even though you know it’s not intended for anything other than a cruel jab. Satoru’s response, or lack thereof, makes the situation all the more uncomfortable. His eyes flick to you for a brief second before turning back to Himari, his expression more quiet and guarded
One question sounds throughout your brain. Why are you even with her?
You stand there, the tension heavy in the air between the three of you, white-knuckling onto Koji’s jacket, as if it could anchor you through this awkward, uncomfortable moment. Himari’s gaze holds yours for a moment longer like she’s trying to read you, trying to see if you'll react. You want to say something, anything, but you can feel the weight of the situation hanging on your tongue, making it hard to even speak.
Satoru looks between the two of you, his jaw tightening slightly. "Let's go," he mutters, more to Himari than to you, though you can tell he’s trying to smooth things over. Himari, however, isn’t having it. She steps forward, a small smirk on her face as she eyes you again.
“So,” she starts, her voice dripping with sarcasm, “you two still playing catch-up or is it ‘out of sight, out of mind’ now?”
Her clipped tone is pointed, deliberately meant to prod, and the weight of them sinks in—her intent clear. Satoru doesn’t reply, simply glancing at you with a silent apology in his eyes—if you can even call it that. You want to scoff at his lousiness. It’s clear she’s trying to assert her dominance in the situation, but you’re not sure whether it’s her trying to put you in your place or if it’s something else entirely.
You force a tight smile, the words you're looking for escaping you. “No need to worry,” you manage to say, the words barely leaving your lips as you turn to look at Satoru one last time. “I’m sure you both have things to do. I’ll get back to work.”
Satoru doesn’t protest, and Himari just gives you another dismissive glance. "Whatever," she mutters under her breath, but you catch the taunt in her voice. She might be playing it off, but you sense otherwise.
As they walk away, the weight of the encounter lingers in the air around you. You stand frozen for a moment, the jacket still in your hands, and then—almost instinctively—you turn on your heel and head back inside the café. Your heart still pounds in your chest, the sting of Himari’s words lingering long after they’ve both left.
You don’t even know what hurts more—the fact that Satoru’s dismissive attitude didn’t change, Himari’s words somehow managed to rattle you more than you care to admit, or the fact that he barely…stood up for you. It is selfish to at least hold him to a certain degree—a degree where he has the decency to protect you from the cruel shit his now girlfriend so nonchalantly delivers towards you? Maybe how he acted during that first unexpected encounter was all for show.
And of course, the pain in your chest feels more like a slow burn now, another brutal—unwanted reminder that things between you and Satoru, whatever they were…are long gone.
An Izakaya of this caliber is something Haruka would have only dreamed of sitting in. Warm lighting is stationed above them, inside their own private room while she drinks away and away—solely because the people before her are buying. There are dishes of food scattered around, some picked from and others haven’t been touched yet. “You know, I really appreciate you spoiling me for the past two days, it’s nicer than any man has ever treated me.”
She laughs to herself, casually leaning back on her palms, holding her pitcher of beer back up to her lips and sipping like a madman. Emi and Kenji Nakamura regard the woman with equally disgusted faces. Beside them is their personal lawyer.
“So,” Haruka starts, burping and leaning forward once more. “What’s this all about my precious daughter, huh?” Her lip quirks up in a sneer at the reminder of the child she had and practically threw to the wolves. “Is she acting up again? She’s always been a little troublemaker.”
“I’m sure you’ve seen the articles, yes?” Kenji’s firm voice replies. “Involving your daughter, Satoru Gojo, and their son.”
She chokes on her spit. “What?! Son?! No, I haven’t seen anything! I’m a free spirit and I don’t believe in social media, it’s the devil’s play!”
The couple show no further emotion to her outburst.
Haruka’s face contorts with an expression of disbelief as she wipes her mouth hastily with the back of her hand, trying to regain some composure. The news about Satoru Gojo and her daughter having a child seems to rattle her more than anything else. She leans back again, almost toppling over from the force of her sudden shift in posture, eyes wild. “I—what do you mean, son?” Her voice cracks, and she shoots a glance at Emi and Kenji, her eyes narrowing. “Are you telling me that boy… and my daughter? They have a child?!”
Kenji’s lips curl into a slight frown, his eyes cold. “Yes, it seems your daughter has kept things a secret for years. The media and everyone else have only just found out.”
Haruka’s eyes flash with something venomous, but she quickly masks it with a laugh, the sound forced and hollow. “Ah, what a little dirty sneak. And, please. You know I’m not interested in all that family nonsense. And that son? How could they even think of bringing a kid into their… situation?” Her head shakes as she scoffs at the thought of you bearing a child of your own. And especially with…him.
“You may not understand now,” Kenji mutters darkly, before leaning in slightly. “But I think it’s time you start paying attention. Because this situation concerns you more than you realize.”
Haruka’s face twitches, the words hitting her harder than she wants to admit. The weight of the sudden revelation was heavy. She glances down at her beer, swirling it absentmindedly, her mind clearly racing with thoughts she doesn’t want to process. “You’re telling me my daughter has a son with him?” she scoffs, shaking her head. “That’s rich. Really rich.” Her tone is bitter, but the realization of the reality around her seems to slowly sink in, and she takes another long sip from her pitcher to steady herself. “She’s such a goddamn fool, I almost feel bad for her. I provided a lot for her, you know? Then she threw it all away.”
Kenji and Emi watch on in disinterest. The lawyer beside them brings out a formal sheet of paper. “We’d like to offer you a deal, Ms. L/N,” Kenji states.
Haruka looks back up, eyebrows furrowing in confusion. Haruka’s eyes narrow, expression shifting from one of indifference to one of calculated curiosity. She shifts in place, wiping her mouth once more with the back of her palm. “A deal? What kind of deal?” she asks, her voice carrying a note of skepticism, but there's a flicker of interest behind her gaze. She leans in slightly, one hand still gripping the pitcher of beer as she lowers it to the table now.
“You see,” Emi starts. “Our only child—our precious daughter is dating Satoru. She probably felt the most disgruntled in this situation out of everyone else. With the suddenness, we fear that everything we have worked for will be put to waste.”
“And with the news of your daughter’s involvement with Satoru Gojo, it has thrown things into disarray for us. What we need is to ensure that this situation doesn’t jeopardize our family’s legacy—both our reputation and, more importantly, our fortune.” Kenji finishes.
Haruka snorts softly. “I see. So, you’re telling me this little bastard of hers is a problem for you too? What does that have to do with me?” Her words come out sharper than she intends, but she quickly masks it with another bitter laugh.
Emi’s cold gaze sharpens, a glint of something unspoken flickering behind her eyes. “Everything, Haruka. Your daughter’s ties to Satoru Gojo are a direct threat to the family’s interests. And with a child in the picture now… it complicates things further. But we’ve come to a solution, one that involves you—if you’re willing to cooperate.”
Haruka tilts her head, eyes narrowing as she watches the lawyer slide the formal paper across the table toward her. The ink on it is neat, but her eyes flick over it quickly, scanning the contents before she lets out a quiet scoff. “What is this? Some kind of bribe?”
The lawyer, keeping a neutral expression, nods. “It’s an agreement that ensures your cooperation in smoothing over this… situation. If you agree, your involvement will not only secure your own future, but it will also protect the financial interests of both families. In exchange, you’ll receive a position of influence, a stake in the inheritance.”
Haruka’s laughter rings out again, more amused. “Influence? A stake? Do you think I’m some desperate fool who’ll fall for your little schemes? I don’t need your money. I have enough desperate fools willing to give me that already.” She sneers at the paper but then pauses, looking at Kenji and Emi, the weight of their gaze pressing down on her.
She takes another sip from her pitcher, her mind whirling as she weighs her options. A part of her wants to lash out, to dismiss them and their offer completely. But there’s something about the way they’re looking at her, something cold and calculating that makes her pause. The truth is, she’s always been a gambler, and she knows when to fold and when to play her hand. “You really think this is gonna work out?” she says, her voice quieter now, but still filled with an edge of disbelief. “This… deal?” She hesitates, eyes flicking over the paper again, the signature line staring her down. “What exactly are you asking of me?”
Emi leans forward slightly, her posture unyielding. “We need you to leverage your relationship with your daughter. Influence her decisions, guide her actions—anything you can to help steer her away from Satoru. We want to ensure that the child and his existence don’t affect our plans. In return, we offer you protection, money, and a place at the table. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement.”
Kenji watches her closely, his expression hard, but there’s a glimmer of expectation in his eyes.
Haruka’s mind races, her fingers idly tracing the rim of her beer glass as she processes the offer laid out before her. The temptation of power, of influence, is hard to ignore, even for someone who prides herself on being a free spirit. But she’s also no fool. She knows this is a high-stakes game—one where the risks outweigh the rewards if she misplays her cards. And the amount of 0’s she’s staring down at is inexplicably thrilling. She’s already imagining what she can buy with it.
For a long moment, the room is silent, the tension thick. Emi and Kenji both stare at her intently, their eyes cold and calculating, watching her every move. The lawyer remains as neutral as ever, the formality of his expression only adding to the weight of the situation.
Haruka's lips curl into a smirk, the edges of her mouth twitching slightly as she leans back in her chair. “Leverage my relationship with my daughter, huh? You really think I can do that?” Her voice is laced with a mix of amusement and disdain. “You must think I’m a puppet master or something. But I’m not interested in some petty manipulation games.”
Kenji’s eyes flash for a brief second, a flicker of something darker crossing his features. "You know the consequences of doing nothing. You’ve been avoiding your daughter long enough, Haruka. But she’s not the same girl anymore. She's tied to Satoru Gojo now, and that complicates things. We need you to make sure she doesn’t forget her place. The family’s future is on the line."
Haruka’s hand freezes in mid-air, her gaze locking with Kenji's. She can feel the weight of her daughter’s past mistakes bearing down on her, the consequences that could affect everything she’s tried to distance herself from. Her jaw ticks, her eye twitching. What a stupid little girl, I tried warning you, didn’t I? “I don’t care about your legacy or your fortune,” Haruka mutters, her tone turning colder, sharper. “But I’m not stupid. I can see what you’re offering me.” Her fingers curl around the edges of the paper, her nails digging into the surface. “I have one question for you, though. What happens if I refuse?”
Emi doesn’t blink, her gaze unflinching as she answers. “If you refuse, Haruka, you’ll be left in the same position you’ve always been—irrelevant. Your daughter’s problems will escalate, and your connections, your influence, will be stay meaningless. You will never succeed and you’ll lose the tiniest amount of leverage you have. You’ll watch as everything you’ve ever taken for granted crumbles.” She pauses, the words hanging in the air. “But if you cooperate, we can guarantee your future. Your daughter’s involvement with Gojo doesn’t need to ruin you.”
Haruka’s eyes flick over the paper again, the signature line now feeling like an anchor, pulling her down into a world of obligations and consequences. She takes a deep breath, feeling the familiar rush of excitement that always comes when she’s faced with a gamble. It’s the thrill of uncertainty, the pull of what could be hers if she plays her cards right. Her bottom lip is worried between her teeth.
“So, what you’re saying is... I’m supposed to ruin my own daughter’s happiness for the sake of your precious family’s legacy,” Haruka says, her voice low, almost contemplative. She stares at the paper one more time before meeting Emi’s gaze. "Fine. You’ve made your offer. But just so you know, I’m no one's pawn. I’ll make this work for me too. You’re not the only ones with something to gain."
Emi gives a small, satisfied nod, and Kenji’s lips tighten, but there’s a small shift in his demeanor—one that signals the deal has been struck. "Good," Kenji replies, his voice firm. "We’re glad we could come to an agreement. We will contact you if necessary and when your action is needed.”
Haruka, for the first time, sets the pitcher of beer down, her fingers now gently grasping the edge of the paper. She grins maniacally and signs it with a flourish. The ink is dark and permanent, sealing the agreement.
With the ink dry, she sits back, a smirk curling on her lips. “This will be fun.”

MASTERLIST || SERIES MASTERLIST
You’re hurrying down the stairs, wearing your Halloween costume - a top, a mini skirt with a tail and cute cat ears. Almost out of the door you hear your stepdad call your name from the living room.
“What?” you ask, peeking into the room.
He looks you up and down, brows furrowed.
“C’mere.”
“What?” You repeat, getting annoyed. “I’m late.”
You know it’ll take longer to argue with him so you do what you’ve been told.
He’s sitting on the couch and when you step up to him he leans forward and plants the elbows on his knees.
Your stepdad’s dark eyes slide over your figure and he takes a sharp breath.
“Lookin’ like a damn slut. As always.”
“It’s Halloween, Joel,” you grumble, rolling your eyes at the man.
“Seems like ya celebrate it every day, sweetheart,” he mumbles as his hand darts to his crotch and he starts palming it. You glare at him but already feel the tingling between your legs. He looks so hot wearing his white undershirt and worn out gray sweatpants.
When Joel’s free hand wraps around the back of your thigh you softly gasp and try to step back but he holds you in place.
“Shhh, little kitty, ‘s jus’ daddy.”
“Joel,” you plea, your mind screaming for him to stop while your body demands for him to continue.
“Gonna have fun tonight?” His hand slides up and up until it snakes under your skirt.
Your heartbeat is booming in your throat. You’re scared that your mom will catch you two but at the same time you’re trembling with arousal.
“Mmm— I — I don’t know,” your voice is shaky. “My friends are waiting in the car.”
“Hmm, what kinda friends?” You feel Joel’s warm fingers graze your ass and softly pinch your cheek. He’s looking up at you, his eyes obsidian.
“Just my girls.”
You’re barely breathing at this point.
The pads of his thick digits push between your cheeks and he massages your pussy folds through your thin panties from behind. You wonder if he feels how wet you’re. For him. For your stepdad. Oh god!
“Hngg — your girls’ll have to wait.”
His hand leaves your pussy and he leans back on the couch.
“Ya gonna ride this dick now. Don’t worry, I’ll fill you up soon. 5 minutes tops,” he’s telling you this as his hand pulls the waistband of his sweatpants down and he frees his hard cock. How the hell is he already hard?!
You open your mouth to protest, to reason with him, to tell him you don’t have time, that your mom, napping upstairs, can wake up any moment but his cock—
his gorgeous, stiff, leaking cock—
calling to you— Your pussy wants it—needs it.
You sigh and pull your skirt up before straddling Joel’s hips.
Your hand wraps around his girthy base and you line up his fat tip with your little hole. You’re soaking wet and your cunt is sinking down on it, easily taking his massive cock, while your eyes are locked. Your stepdad moans, his lids heavy with pleasure, before a smirk tugs at his lips and he mumbles,
“Happy Halloween—my little slut.”

My masterlist
“Ma’am, Ma’am we’re landing ” you’re shaken awake by the sweet old lady sitting next to you “mm thank you ma’am” you groan out sleepily starting to sit up and stretch “is this your first time flying?” She asks you while you’re situating yourself in your seat. “No. Me and my girlfriend are long distance so we always fly to each other when we can.” She nods “is this your first time?” You ask back while the plane starts going down “No. just my first time without my husband, he’s already in Minnesota with our family” you nod and before you can reply she asks another question “Does your girlfriend know your coming? Or is it a surprise?”
“It’s a surprise. Her dad and step mom are helping me pull it off” she nods saying “that’s so sweet, I remember when me and my husband were young and doing long distance. It is hard and challenging but if you both really want it then it’s not impossible.” “Thank you, we’re trying.” She nods and gives you a pat on your arm, starting to stand up as the plane has landed “it was nice talking to you, I hope you and your girlfriend have a very merry Christmas!”
“You too! Merry Christmas to you and your family!” You replied back also starting to stand up so you can get your carry-on, she smiles at you and says thank you. You both eventually end up walking off the plane and making your way to baggage claim. You’ve been texting Bob since you got off the plane as he was gonna be the one to pick you up, he said Moe took Paige to the mall so they could do some Christmas shopping
Once you got your luggage you started making your way to the area bob said he was. When you see him you immediately start walking a little faster, hugging him once you reached him
“Hey! How was your flight?” He questions while hugging you back “good, long though.” He laughs “well yeah, you just flew from Boston to Minnesota. Figured we could go get some food and then take you back home, Moe just texted saying they’re just entering the last store for today.”
You nod agreeing to what he just said “I’m starving so I’m good with this plan.” He just chuckles and takes your suitcase from you, leading you out of the airport and to the car
You guys have just gotten back to the house after eating and now are trying to hurry and figure out the best way to do the surprise. “What if I left my bags out in the living room or by the front door and went up to her room, and you told her a guest made it a few days earlier then Christmas and that she’s sharing her room with said guest, and then ask her to bring my bags up to her room and then she’ll see me?”
“Yeah that could work-“ he gets cut off hearing a car pull into the drive way “go hide!” He tells you making you run up the stairs and into Paige’s room. You lay down on her bed and go on your phone, you hear the front door open and then some talking - when you hear Paige start coming up the stairs you put your phone down and look at the door waiting for her to come in.
When she knocks on the door you don’t answer making her think the guest that her father would not tell her who was asleep, giving her the go ahead to open the door and put the bags against the wall. She starts walking out of the door so you quickly knock down her water bottle that was on her nightstand to make her look in your direction and when she does she gasps and her eyes widen
“Wait-“ she cuts herself off “hey baby!” When you say that it’s like her brain unfreezes cause she’s immediately running towards the bed and jumping on you. You laugh hugging her back.
“How’d you get here? When’d you get here? What?” She says fully shocked that you’re even here “Bob and Moe helped me pay for my flights, and we had just gotten to the house when you and Moe pulled in.” She just looks at you surprised “she’s one of your Christmas presents by the way. Flights during Christmas are extremely expensive” Bob says in the doorway of her room jokingly
She just turns her head still laying on you “ that’s fine, she’s the greatest gift I could’ve gotten” Bob just shakes his head amusingly and leaves the doorway heading back downstairs.
“How long are you here?” She asks turning back to you “3 weeks” you can tell she’s confused but excited that your gonna be here that long “two of the weeks are my winter break and I’m taking a week off of school so I can see some of your basketball games” she doesn’t say anything and instead just hugs you shoving her face in your neck “I love you so much” she mumbles into you
“I love you more” you say kissing her on her forehead. She shakes her head and lifts her head away from your neck so it’s hovering over your face “not possible” she mumbles over your lips, immediately kissing you after saying that
It’s now Christmas morning, Paige had woken up a few minutes ago and started playing with your hair and kissing you all over your face trying to wake you up.
Now you’re laying your head on her chest with one arm draped across her stomach drawing random shapes on her stomach while she fiddles with the ends of your hair
“I can’t wait to spend these 3 weeks with you.” Paige mumbles into your hair. You just lean up and give her a few kisses “I love you” you mumble against her “and I love you” she pulls you back in to the kiss
You both pull away after a few seconds “Drew’s gonna be storming in here in about 3 minutes” Paige says making you laugh a little bit “then I guess we should get up” you say looking at her making her groan out and pull you into her more “I just want to lay in bed and cuddle with you” she pouts “well we can cuddle on the couch?” She just groans but starts getting up from the bed
She helps you get up and then you both walk out the door immediately seeing Drew on his way to Paige’s room - making him stop in his tracks for a minute before he runs up to both of you grabbing both of your hands and “pulling” you guys to the living room
You and Paige sit on the love seat while everyone else sits on the couch or the floor, Bob starts passing out the presents with everyone opening theirs. Once the gifts are opened and the food is eaten everyone decided to watch a movie before we all had to get dressed.
Your laying your head on Paige’s chest again with her still fiddling with the ends of your hair, while you focus on the Christmas movie playing right now
“Merry Christmas baby” Paige whispers in your ear

I adore your 'kisses before dinner' au. Bethie has my entire heart <3!!!
Is it possible to request a fic where Bethie is in a stage of wanting to dress similarly and wear makeup like mom!reader? And Steve catches the lovely moment of them getting together for their mommy/daughter date and marvels at his pretty girls? 🥹<3
thank you for requesting!! mom!reader
“I want to wear blue.”
“Yes,” you say, dragging out the soft ‘s’. “Your favourite colour out of all of the colours, mommy remembers.”
Bethie smiles and looks down at your feet. “Yeah, mommy.”
You reach for her face, cupping it in two loving hands to encourage her to look up again. Your fingers cover the side of her heads, your thumb rubbing sweet, gentle circles into her cheeks. “You know how you told dad you wanted to dress like me?”
“Yeah,” she says, holding your wrist. She has very little hands, even for her age.
“Well, I’ve got us dresses that are nearly the same one, and they’re blue. Should we have a look at them?”
You and Bethie kneel by the dresser to unearth the paper bag you’ve tucked away in the bottom drawer under Steve’s socks and underwear. Bethie waits patiently, quiet and still, her hand tucked under her legs to stop from snatching. You admire her dedication to being well-behaved. “Baby, you can touch them! They’re for us!”
Steve gets really worried about Bethie being shy, and he can’t understand it. “You aren’t shy!” he’d said to you before, “And I’m not shy, I don’t get it, I really don’t. All her favourite people are loud.”
“We aren’t shy now, Steve. But you were a quiet kid, right? That’s what your mom said.”
“My mom would tell you the sun is blue to spite me.” But he’d conceded. Steve doesn’t mind if Bethie’s shy, he just wants what’s best for her, and being shy can be awful.
Building her confidence was a big reason behind these mommy-daughter dates. Building her confidence, tackling Avery’s want for affection (which she deserves to have), and getting Dove out of the house —you love getting to have them one on one. You and Steve are gonna switch out after this set. He had big plans for his dates.
You’re trying to keep it simple. You and Bethie pull on your matching dresses and dark tights while your shoes wait for you downstairs. You'd tackled her hair that morning, leaving makeup as your last port of call. “Alright,” you command, patting your lap where you sit cross-legged on the floor, “come here, sweetpea.”
She lets out one of those happy-excited gasps that only kids seem to be able to make and hurries into your lap. You hear Steve’s footsteps on the stairs as she sits, your pretty husband edging open the door with his foot to peek inside. You smile at him, hoping it says to come inside.
“Can I have, um, lip gloss? The pink one? That you always say gives sticky kisses?” Bethie asks.
“Yeah, for sure. I thought we’d powder your face first, how’s that?”
She nods and closes her eyes. You pout at Steve, summoning him to sneak to the bed so he can see her tightly squeezed eyelids and her lips puckered for gloss. He puts his hand on his heart.
He melts more and more as you go. Bethie relaxes her eyes the longer her makeup takes, though you only add little tiny dabs of everything. A dusting of powder, a short patting of crème blush on her cheeks.
“Last but not least,” you say, gliding the pad of the lip gloss applicator over her bottom lip. “Rub your lips together.”
“Like this?” She rubs her lips, gloss spreading up into her cupid’s bow and under her nose.
You wipe the smudge away with your pinky nail. “Perfect.”
“You can say that again.”
Steve doesn’t sound like he’s joking. He clutches the fabric of his t-shirt just below his heart, totally in love as Beth opens her eyes to smile at him shyly. “You look amazing,” he says, fingers tapping his chest in emphasis. “Beth, you look so pretty.”
“You think so?”
Steve sits on the end of the bed to hold her hand. He’s soft with his touches, caressing her arm with his other hand as he says, “Of course I do. How about you blow mommy off and go on a date with me tonight instead?”
She giggles. “No, daddy!”
“You don’t wanna go out with me instead?” He ruffles his hair. “Is it the way I look?”
“No, me and mom are gonna go to the pizza party at the bowling alley,” she says.
“I like bowling.”
“For time together,” she says, flopping into Steve’s arms to hug his front. “It’s okay, dad, I’m coming back.”
“You are?” He kisses her forehead, meeting your eyes over her head, fondness in their slight squint and furrow of his brow. “That’s good. Miss you too much if you didn’t.”

me and you
hopkins paige x hopkins reader
angsty… kinda
you and paige have been childhood friends both growing up in minnesota. you guys were basically inseparable, where ever you go, paige goes and vice versa. when paige went on fiba u17 she would call you and text you all the time. it got so bad to the point you had to tell her friends caitlin and hailey to take her phone away. sometimes you would have to temporarily block her during her training so she would focus. to you paige was your whole world, her dreams, accomplishments, her everything was your world. and of course the same with paige.
when it was time for you both to commit to college you of course applied for all your dream schools uconn (for paige), columbia, northwestern and of course Yale. yale has been your dream school since you were little and paige’s dream school was the university of connecticut. When paige committed to uconn it’s wasn’t a surprise everyone knew that’s where she would end up, and she was expecting you to join her. when you told her that you were going to yale instead, she understood, upset but she understood, she couldn’t be mad that was your dream.
each night of that summer she laid in her bed wondering about the two of you.
wondering if you guys would remain as close, it’s always been you and paige. the thought of anyone replacing her scared her. she wonderd if you would date anyone. the thought of you dating someone that wasn’t her, quite broke her filled with jealousy and heartache, she called you in a hurry.
“hey you there” she said out of breath like she has been crying for hours and just woken up from the worst nightmare imaginable.
“yea im here, what’s wrong paige?” you asked confused, half asleep yet calm knowing you need to be grounded for paige.
“could you come over right now… i really really need you” her voice breaking with each word.
“yea im headed over there right now, do you want anything?” you said comforting and soothing but deep down you were confused as hell. she has never been this emotional over a dream before (or what you thought was a dream)
“no i just need you”
“okay i’m on my way” and with that you hung up
with the spare key paige’s mom gave you, you entered in, not wanting to wake anyone let alone paige if she fell asleep again. you knew how much stress took over her so you knew how important it was that she gets sleep.
you opened the door making zero noise. you see paige’s bright blue eye, you can tell she’s been crying.
right when you hugged her she started sobbing again
“hey, hey, it’s okay i’m here, what’s wrong paigey?”
paigey has been a nickname you gave her back when you guys first met.
“i don’t want to leave, i don’t want you to leave” she cried out
“please please don’t leave me, don’t forget about me. it’s always been me and you, please don’t replace me” crying out even harder, squeezing you even tighter as if you were going to fade away if she let go even a slight bit.
“hey it’s always going to me and you, that’s never going to change”
“but you’re going to yale, you’re going to leave me, find someone new to replace me and forget about me” she says hyperventilating due to her crying.
you slightly wiggled out of her embrace, just enough to cup her face “paige, breathe, i’m not going to replace you, and i’m definitely not going to forget about you.”
you lift her chin so she would look at you
and finally, she looks you in the eye. her blue eyes dilated.
before you could say anything
she kissed you.
and you kiss back.
this is bad… i came up with a new story in the middle of this and completely forgot my ending so this is the ending now 😭

a little secret romance trope
Summary: reader and beomgyu try their very best to keep their relationship under the wraps...but it doesnt help their friends have no boundaries
Genre: fluffy
Characters: beomgyu x f!reader
Words: 6360
Completed (oneshot)
Beomgyu and you had been secretly dating for six months, a fact you managed to keep hidden from your friend group with surprising success. On the outside, you seemed like a duo that would have never made sense—a bubbly, outgoing, dashing young man and an introverted homebody who only left her house when food was offered.
Your covert glances and stolen moments of affection added a thrilling layer to your otherwise routine meetups. As Beomgyu cracked jokes and you rolled your eyes in mock annoyance, in truth, you were a little surprised that none of your friends suspected the lingering touches.
You both had to admit, sneaking around was getting exhausting, especially when your friends were the nosiest group of people. Though, you weren’t going to lie, you did enjoy the thrill of a swift kiss when no one’s looking or a quick sneaky squeeze of the thigh.
—-
"Just some coffee. To go. Thanks," you ordered.
Yeonjun smiled, "Got it."
The six of you were always at the café Yeonjun had opened. It was a little unconventional for your friends to consistently hang out at the café, but it was a place to unwind if nothing else. The warm, rustic atmosphere, with its wooden beams and soft lighting, created a cozy backdrop for your gatherings.
"Where’s Kai? I thought he started working here?" you asked, looking around for your tall, goofy friend.
"I don’t know." Yeonjun sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It’s fine. We’re technically fully staffed anyway. Tsk, didn’t need him one bit."
"Right," you nodded weirdly, glancing at the clock on the wall.
"Where ya going? You’re not gonna stay around a little longer? Soobin and Taehyun are supposed to get off work soon. They’re coming right over."
"Not today. I kind of have to visit my mom," you lied, shifting on your feet.
"Isn’t your mom on a cruise with your dad?"
"No. No. Sorry, I’m a bit muddle headed today. Not my mom, my aunt. I’m visiting my aunt."
"Okay…?" Yeonjun looked at you slightly suspiciously, his eyes narrowing.
Just as you were about to respond, the café door chimed, and Beomgyu walked in, his presence instantly lighting up the room. His eyes met yours briefly, a flicker of warmth passing between you. He made his way to the counter, leaning casually against it as he ordered his usual drink. You couldn't help but steal glances at him, your heart racing with the thrill of your secret.
Yeonjun handed you your coffee, still eyeing you with mild curiosity. "Well, say hi to your aunt for me," he said, a hint of teasing in his voice.
"Will do," you replied, forcing a smile.
"Well, I gotta go too," Beomgyu cleared his throat and stood up, his movements a bit too hurried to seem casual.
"But, you just got here," Yeonjun tilted his head, confused.
"Yeah, I forgot, I have stuff to do. Y’know how uni is," Beomgyu chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
Yeonjun raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. "Alright, see you later then."
Beomgyu flashed a quick smile before making his way to the door, and you followed a few moments later, making sure not to draw any more attention to yourselves. Outside, the bustling city sounds provided a stark contrast to the café's cozy ambiance. The evening sun cast a warm glow over the streets, making the pavement shimmer.
Beomgyu waited for you around the corner, his hands shoved deep into his pockets. When you approached, he grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief before pulling you in for a tight bear hug. "Nice save back there."
"It was, until you showed up. I told you to wait outside," you chided playfully, pulling away from his embrace.
"It was hot!" Beomgyu whined, pouting slightly.
"You're an idiot," you rolled your eyes and placed your hands in his. "C'mon. Let's go."
"My place? The boys are all out so we get the whole place to ourselves, if you know what I mean," Beomgyu suggested, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
You laughed, shaking your head at his antics. "Sure thing, handsome, lead the way."
Beomgyu's apartment was just a short walk away, nestled in a cozy neighborhood filled with tree-lined streets and charming old buildings. When you arrived at his place, Beomgyu unlocked the door and ushered you inside. The apartment was comfortably messy, filled with the signs of everyday life—a guitar propped against the wall, books and magazines scattered on the coffee table, and a few jackets thrown over the back of the couch.
"Beomgyu?" Kai's voice interrupted your thoughts.
"Kai? What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be at the café?" Beomgyu asked, surprise evident in his voice.
"Yeah, but like…it’s a Saturday and I just…I’m tired, man." Kai sighed, plopping down onto the couch with a sigh.
"You started yesterday," you said, raising an eyebrow.
"I’ll have you kn—wait a minute, what the hell are you doing here?" Kai questioned, his eyes narrowing suspiciously.
"I... came to help Beomgyu with his thesis?" you replied, trying to sound convincing.
"You took a 30 minute train ride just to help Beomgyu with his thesis? That’s some kind of weird dedication you have," Kai said, though his tone suggested he wasn't entirely convinced. "Whatever. Just don’t tell Yeonjun that I’m here."
"Your secret's safe with us," Beomgyu said, giving Kai a reassuring pat on the back. "But you owe me one for covering for you."
Kai rolled his eyes but smiled. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Thanks, man."
As Kai settled in, Beomgyu glanced at you with a mixture of amusement and exasperation. The unexpected interruption had thrown a wrench into your plans, but you couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Beomgyu shrugged.
"You want something to drink?" Beomgyu offered, heading to the kitchen.
"Sure," you replied, sinking into the couch next to Kai. "So, what's your plan for the rest of the day?"
"Honestly? Just chilling," Kai said, stretching his arms over his head. "Might as well enjoy my day off, right?"
"Right," you agreed, glancing towards the kitchen where Beomgyu was rummaging through the fridge.
“So should we head upstairs?” Beomgyu asked, his voice carrying a hint of suggestion.
“Upstairs? Why can’t the two of you just do it here? I’m bored. Maybe I can help!” Kai interjected enthusiastically, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.
“If you’re bored, go to work.” Beomgyu deadpanned.
“I’m bored but not that bored.”
“Oh... uh...besides, it’s more of a...” You stuttered, trying to think of an excuse while shooting a panicked glance at Beomgyu.
Beomgyu grinned, his eyes glinting with mischief as he decided to play along. "Actually, Kai, it’s about my thesis on the history of plumbing regulations in pre-modern Europe. Pretty dry stuff, you know?”
Kai’s grin faded instantly, replaced by a look of confusion mixed with disbelief. “Plumbing regulations? Seriously?”
“Yeah,” Beomgyu nodded seriously, his expression deadpan. “I have to analyze the impact of sanitation policies on urban development during the Middle Ages. It’s actually pretty interesting. If you want, you can help me read some of th-”
“Blah blah blah. Y’know what, I’ll go and find Taehyun at work. Maybe ruin his lunch time. That’ll teach him to work on a Saturday.” Kai blinked, clearly taken aback by the unexpected subject matter.
“Sure.” Beomgyu cleared his throat, opening the door for Kai.
As soon as Kai left, you looked over to Beomgyu.
“Plumbing regulations?” you managed to say between giggles.
“It was the first thing I thought of,” Beomgyu chuckled, shaking his head.
“Plumbing regulations,” you repeated, still laughing. “I can’t believe he bought that.”
“Hey, it worked,” Beomgyu grinned, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. “Sometimes you just gotta improvise.”
The two of you looked at each other, sharing one last chuckle before Beomgyu stepped closer to you.
“Alright, so about that alone time,” Beomgyu winked, “What should we do now?”
“Maybe we can actually get some work done on that thesis you were complaining to me about last night,” you suggested teasingly, earning a groan from Beomgyu.
“Baby, I was joking.” Beomgyu sighed.
“The reminders on your phone screen say otherwise. You have like 10 things on your to-do list. I’m here to finish at least some of them with you.”
“You’re on my to-do list,” he teased, raising an eyebrow suggestively.
“I’ll drop kick you,” you retorted, playfully rolling your eyes.
Beomgyu laughed, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you closer. “Alright, alright. Let’s see what we can knock off the list then.”
—-
“Who the fuck are you texting? You’ve been giggling and kicking your feet like a little girl,” Soobin nudged Beomgyu, who had an idiotic grin on his face.
The two of you had been texting cute, lovey-dovey messages to each other all evening, unknowingly irritating Soobin.
“Yeah, who are you texting?” you chimed in, trying to ease his suspicions.
“Your goofy smile is making me lose my focus,” Soobin muttered, his eyes darting between his laptop and Beomgyu.
“No one. It’s just Yeonjun,” Beomgyu lied, trying to maintain a straight face.
Soobin squinted suspiciously. “Yeonjun? He’s not that funny.”
“That’s because you don’t know his hilarious side,” Beomgyu retorted, trying to sound convincing.
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Yeah! Maybe Yeonjun's just gotten funnier without us realizing it. He made a joke once about pickles. I laughed.”
Soobin raised an eyebrow but decided to drop the subject, returning his attention to his work. “Oh, yeah, sure, and Beomgyu got less annoying. Some things aren’t meant to be.”
The atmosphere in the room lightened as the conversation shifted. You and Beomgyu exchanged a quick, knowing glance, both of you relieved that Soobin hadn’t caught on. Beomgyu’s phone buzzed again, and he quickly typed a reply, a small smile playing on his lips.
—
“Does anyone think Beomgyu has been super weird recently?” Taehyun brought up, voicing a concern that had been quietly nagging at him.
“What d’ya mean?” you asked, feeling a knot of worry forming in your stomach.
Beomgyu had excused himself to the toilet, leaving the five of you to speculate on what might be going on with your secret boyfriend. Soobin glanced around the table, his brow furrowed in thought.
“Yeah, now that you mention it,” Soobin mused, leaning back in his chair. “He’s been more distracted lately. And secretive. It’s like he’s hiding something from us.”
“Which is weird, since he’s usually an open book,” Kai chimed in, fidgeting with his phone.
Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, his expression thoughtful. “Y’know what, I noticed he’s been on his phone a lot more, too. And he’s been disappearing randomly. He’d go out at weird timings like at 2am.”
“He’s probably just stressed with uni stuff,” you offered, trying to brush off your own concerns.
“Maybe,” Taehyun nodded slowly, but the worry in his eyes was evident. “I just hope everything’s okay with him.”
“What about you? Have you noticed anything?” Taehyun nudged you, sensing your unease.
You swallowed the lump in your throat. “Uh, not that I know of. We haven’t been hanging out lately.” It was a lie, a really bad one. You felt almost guilty lying this much to your closest friends.
“Well... this is just between us, but…” Yeonjun whispered, leaning closer. “Last night, I heard him on the phone. I wasn’t eavesdropping, but he was kinda loud about it so I just listened.”
“So you were eavesdropping,” Soobin teased, narrowing his eyes playfully.
“Eh,” Yeonjun smirked. “I heard him on the phone, talking to someone. A girl. I couldn’t hear her voice very clearly, but it was a girl. They were giggling and Beomgyu was saying stuff like ‘I’ll see you tomorrow’ or ‘Wear that dress I like.’”
The revelation hit the group like a bombshell. Soobin's eyes widened as he exchanged glances with the others. “A girl?” he echoed, clearly perplexed. “But... why would Beomgyu hide something like that from us?”
“It could be nothing,” you interjected quickly, trying to ease the tension. “Maybe it’s just a friend or something.”
Kai crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. “Would you say something like that to any of us?” he asked, matter-of-factly.
You shrugged, shaking your head.
The room fell silent as everyone pondered Kai’s question. The revelation seemed to hang in the air, creating an unspoken pressure that made your heart race even faster. You could feel the weight of their gazes as they waited for someone to break the silence.
“Who do you think it is?” Soobin asked, his curiosity piqued.
“I don’t know,” Yeonjun admitted with a shrug.
“Oh, oh, oh!” Kai snapped his fingers suddenly. “It could be the girl from his uni. The pretty one he brought home a few weeks back to do their group project? Do you think it’s her?”
“He brought a girl home?” you asked, feeling a mix of jealousy and curiosity.
“Yeah,” Kai nodded eagerly. “Remember? He said they were working on some big project together. She’s cute, too. Maybe things went beyond just studying.”
Soobin raised an eyebrow. “And he didn’t tell us?”
“Maybe he didn’t want to jinx it,” Kai suggested with a grin.
Taehyun shook his head, looking concerned. “But why hide it? We’re his friends.”
“Well, maybe it’s still early days,” you reasoned, trying to make sense of the situation.
“So what do we do?” Soobin asked, glancing around the table.
“We wait,” Yeonjun said, leaning back in his chair. “Let’s not jump to conclusions. If there’s something going on, Beomgyu will tell us when he’s ready.”
“Hey, whatchu guys yapping about today?” Beomgyu said, returning to his seat.
“Football.” The gang says in unison.
—-
“The guys think you’re dating your uni friend,” you blurted out.
Beomgyu’s eyes widened in surprise. “What?”
“They heard you on the phone with me,” you continued, trying to explain quickly. “Yeonjun overheard you talking to someone and they jumped to conclusions.”
Beomgyu’s expression shifted from surprise to a mixture of confusion and concern. “Oh shit! Do they know it’s you?”
“They think it's the girl from your group project,” you added, feeling a pang of uncertainty. “They think... maybe something’s going on between you two.”
“Well, that should give us enough cover.” Beomgyu shrugged, chuckling.
“Yeah but…they’re picturing you with another girl and there’s something unsettling about that.” You sighed.
“W-wait a minute. Are you jealous?” Beomgyu sang teasingly, a playful grin spreading across his face.
You blinked, caught off guard by his teasing tone. “Maybe a little,” you admitted, feeling a blush creeping up your cheeks.
“Should we break the news to them so my baby doesn’t get any more jealous than she already is?” Beomgyu teased.
“I don’t know,” you replied honestly, weighing your thoughts. “I considered telling them on the spot so they’d stop thinking it was someone else, but I also like keeping our relationship a little secret. It’s been fun sneaking around and hiding, but it’s also been really tiring to keep it from them.”
Beomgyu’s expression softened, his teasing demeanour giving way to a more serious look. “I get it. It hasn’t been easy for either of us. Look, we'll give it another month. Another month of it just being us. And then we’ll tell the guys.”
—-
Taehyun sighed, throwing his bags on the floor. Another shitty day at work. He plopped down on the couch, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle into his bones. Grabbing the TV remote, he turned on a podcast he had subscribed to, hoping to unwind and distract himself.
As the podcast played, Taehyun's mood lightened slightly. The hosts were discussing a recent viral video, and the laughter in their voices was infectious. Curious, Taehyun searched for the video on his phone.
Still grinning, Taehyun picked up the home phone to call Huening Kai, knowing his friend would appreciate the video. As he dialled the number, he heard a soft click on the line, indicating someone was already on the phone.
Pausing, Taehyun listened and quickly realized it was Beomgyu and you talking. His curiosity piqued, he couldn't help but eavesdrop.
“I missed you today,” Beomgyu’s voice came through, warm and affectionate.
“I missed you too,” you replied softly. “I just wanna say you looked good tonight.”
“Baby, you looked even better. I swear I almost tore your dre-”
“OH MY GOD.” Taehyun’s voice echoed through the phone, cutting off Beomgyu mid-sentence.
Beomgyu and you went silent on the other end, realizing Taehyun had overheard. Taehyun’s eyes widened in surprise, a mix of shock washing over him. He hastily put the phone off his ear, as if trying to physically distance himself from what he had just heard.
“OH MY GOD,” Taehyun repeated aloud, pacing nervously around the room.
Above, Beomgyu had been in the process of heading downstairs when he heard Taehyun's exclamation. Curiosity and concern drove him to rush down, taking the stairs two at a time until he reached his friend.
Before Taehyun could react further, Beomgyu leaped onto his back, surprising him completely. “Hey, give me that!” Beomgyu exclaimed, snatching the phone from Taehyun's hand.
Taehyun stumbled forward slightly under Beomgyu's sudden weight, but then turned to face him, wide-eyed. "THE TWO OF YOU…THE TWO OF YOU…"
Beomgyu's expression was a mix of panic and amusement as he glanced at the phone, then back at Taehyun. "I-I, uh, I…" he stammered, trying to come up with a plausible explanation.
Taehyun’s mind raced with questions and realization. “So, uh, are you two... like... a thing?” he asked cautiously, trying to process everything.
Beomgyu hesitated. Taking a deep breath, he nodded slowly. “Yeah, we are.”
“You can’t tell anyone,” Beomgyu pleaded urgently, his eyes pleading with Taehyun to understand. “Taehyun, you don’t understand. It’s been going so well, but we’re not ready to go public. The six of us have been friends for almost a decade. It’ll be weird to let you in on our private lives as a couple so soon. We promise we’ll work things out and announce it when the time is right.”
Taehyun furrowed his brow, processing the sudden revelation and Beomgyu’s earnest plea. He glanced at Beomgyu, sensing the gravity of the situation. “Okay,” he said finally, nodding slowly. “I get it. It’s your call.”
—-
It was supposed to be a simple weekend getaway, a secret escape from the hectic schedules and prying eyes of your friends. Beomgyu had suggested it, claiming a need for some alone time to recharge, and you eagerly agreed, relishing the idea of a romantic adventure away from the usual hangouts.
The plan was meticulous—or so you thought. You and Beomgyu would pretend to attend different school events in the same area, using it as a cover for your getaway. The rest of your friends believed the story, never suspecting a thing as you both slipped away for a few days of blissful anonymity.
The weekend had been perfect—long walks on the beach, lazy mornings in cozy cafes, and evenings spent stargazing under a blanket of twinkling lights. But as all good things do, it came to an end, and you found yourselves back at the guys’ apartment, trying to blend back into your usual routine.
On the way up to the guys’ apartment, you met Kai, who was juggling several bags of groceries. His face lit up when he saw you, and he adjusted the bags to free up a hand for a quick wave.
“How was your school trip?” Kai asked, a genuine curiosity in his eyes.
“It was fun. The strangest thing happened,” you said, your voice tinged with excitement.
“What?” Kai tilted his head, intrigued.
“On the trip, I met our old friend, y’know, Jungwon? Yeah. He looks so different now.”
“Oh, shit, the one who fell into the pond? That Jungwon?” Kai laughed, the memory clearly vivid in his mind.
“Yeah!” You chuckled, sharing in the nostalgia. “Did you get his number?”
“Yeah, I did! I’ll text it to you later.”
The two of you walked over to the door, Kai fumbled with his keys for a moment, the bags making the task slightly challenging. Once inside, the warmth and familiar scent of the apartment greeted you.
“Hey, guys! Look who I found,” Kai called out, his voice echoing through the apartment as he set the groceries down on the kitchen counter.
Soobin glanced up from his laptop, raising an eyebrow in surprise. “Oh, hey! How was the trip?”
“Great!” You grinned. “I had like three workshops and all, but I wouldn’t wanna bore you with it.”
“What are the chances? You and Beomgyu having school trips at the same time? He just got home too,” Yeonjun chuckled.
“Hey, by the way, I saw your stories on Insta. Did you lose your sunglasses? The ones we just bought together?” Kai whined. “Bro, we were supposed to go to the beach with them next week.”
You nodded, sighing. “You don’t think I’m bummed? I’m the one who lost them!”
“Must suck to be you though,” Taehyun said with a smirk.
You glared at him. “Don’t be an ass.”
Soobin served you a plate of pancakes, the sweet aroma filling the room. “Here.”
You grinned, taking the plate. “Thanks!”
As you settled in, Beomgyu descended the stairs, making eye contact with you before smiling widely. “You look pretty,” he mouthed.
You smiled sweetly, quickly turning away to avoid any further suspicion. “Hey! You just got back from your trip?” Beomgyu asked, joining the conversation with a friendly smile.
You nodded. “Yep.”
“Anyway, now that you’re back, Beomgyu, can I please have my Switch back?” Kai begged, his tone light but earnest.
Beomgyu chuckled, reaching into his bag and pulling out the game console. “Yeah, yeah, here you go. I didn’t scratch it, promise.”
Kai snatched it up, relief evident on his face. “Thanks, man. I’ve been dying to play the new game I got.”
“So, how was your trip?” Soobin asked.
Beomgyu shrugged nonchalantly. “Pretty good. Lots of sightseeing and some downtime. Oh right! You wouldn’t guess who I saw!”
“Who?” Yeonjun asked.
“Jungwon!” Beomgyu exclaimed.
“The kid who fell in the pond?”
You shook your head, mouthing to Beomgyu to keep his mouth shut. Kai looked at the two of you, his eyes widening in realization.
“YOU!” he yelled, pointing at you.
“I HAVE SOUVENIRS FOR EVERYBODY! You first, Kai!” Beomgyu yelled, quickly pulling Kai upstairs. You followed suit, running after the two of them.
“What’s up with them?” Soobin said, his eyes still glued to his laptop.
“Beomgyu probably broke his Switch or something,” Yeonjun chuckled.
Upstairs, you caught up with Beomgyu and Kai in Beomgyu's room.
“Well, well, well… so the two of you have been playing us all this time…” Kai sneered, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.
You and Beomgyu exchanged nervous glances. “What are you talking about?” Beomgyu asked, trying to play it cool.
Kai's eyes narrowed. “Don't play dumb. I saw the way you two were acting. You've been sneaking around behind our backs, haven’t you? How’s it possible the two of you met Jungwon then? Two different school events, with supposedly, two different locations.”
You sighed, realizing the jig was up. “Okay, fine. We were on a trip together, and we’ve been dating for a while now.”
“And you didn’t care to tell any of us!” Kai interrupted, his voice rising in frustration.
Beomgyu stepped forward, his expression earnest. “We weren’t sure how everyone would react. We wanted some time alone to figure things out.”
Kai's stern expression softened slightly before being replaced by a look of disgust. “I get it. We’ve been friends for almost ten years. It’ll be kind of weird to see the two of you kiss.”
You nodded, feeling a weight lift off your shoulders. “We wanted to. We really did but… I don’t know, we just got scared.”
Kai sighed, running a hand through his hair. “You do know we’ll be happy for you either way, right?”
Beomgyu sighed, “We know. We’ll tell everyone soon enough.”
“Promise?”
“Well, technically, it’s just Soobin and Yeonjun. Tae already knows.”
“BEFORE ME?!” Kai exclaimed, his voice a mix of shock and mock indignation.
You couldn’t help but laugh at his reaction. “Yeah, it kind of just happened that way. We told him by accident. It’s a long story.”
Kai crossed his arms, pouting. “Fine, but you both owe me big time. And I better not find out anyone else knows before me.”
Beomgyu chuckled, relieved. “It’s just the two of you. We promise.”
“Also about that souvenir…” Kai started, his expression teasing.
“We actually didn’t get you anything,” Beomgyu admitted sheepishly.
“You need a little more than ‘please’ and ‘thank yous’ to keep my mouth shut,” Kai deadpanned, though a hint of amusement danced in his eyes.
With the tension eased, the three of you headed back downstairs. Kai proudly held up a new game console Beomgyu had originally bought for himself, showing it off to the others. “Look what Beomgyu got me!”
Beomgyu sighed, faking a smile. “Thanks for being such a great friend, man.”
“You’re very welcome,” Kai chuckled, a playful edge to his tone.
—
“Hey. I heard you know something I do.” Huening Kai grinned at Taehyun.
“What?”
“C’mon. We both know tweedle dee and tweedle dum are dating, don’t we?”
Taehyun nodded, “It’s been a little tiring to keep this secret. I wish they’d just tell the others already.”
“Well, that’s what I wanted to speak with you about. A little plan.”
Taehyun and Kai exchanged mischievous glances, a silent understanding passing between them as they hatched a plan.
“I’ve got an idea,” Kai whispered, leaning in closer to Taehyun.
—
"Why am I doing this again?" Yeonjun muttered into his tiny earpiece, looking slightly perplexed as he adjusted his stance discreetly.
Yeonjun stood at the edge of the cafe, adjusting his earpiece nervously while keeping an eye on you and Beomgyu at a corner table. Taehyun and Kai sat nearby, exchanging secretive glances as they awaited the cue to set their plan in motion.
“You’re doing this because we need to get Beomgyu to admit he’s dating her,” Taehyun’s voice crackled through Yeonjun’s earpiece.
Yeonjun rolled his eyes, though a small grin played on his lips. “And why do I have to be the one flirting with her?”
“Because you’re the smoothest talker we’ve got,” Kai chimed in.
“And because Soobin’s at work.” Taehyun added with a hint of mischief.
Yeonjun sighed. “Fine, but if this backfires, I’m blaming both of you.”
As he approached your table, Yeonjun put on his most charming smile, a plan forming in his mind. He casually leaned against the back of an empty chair beside you, catching your attention with a friendly nod.
“Hey,” Yeonjun greeted smoothly, his eyes flickering mischievously towards Beomgyu. "What's up?"
Meanwhile, Taehyun and Kai watched from their table, barely containing their excitement as they waited.
“Hey?” You scratched your head, “What do you want?”
Yeonjun chuckled softly, his demeanour relaxed yet subtly teasing. "Just thought I'd join the party," he replied casually, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he glanced at Beomgyu.
Taehyun and Kai exchanged quick glances, trying to suppress their grins as they observed the unfolding scene.
“Have I ever told you how pretty you looked in pink?” He nodded in your direction and gestured to your dress.
“No?” You frowned, “Are you okay? A-are you drunk? At 12? In the afternoon?”
Yeonjun chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah, just appreciating the finer things in life, like you, uh, fashion sense." He leaned casually against the table, his smile widening as he saw Beomgyu's eyebrows shoot up in surprise.
“My fashion sense?” You asked, an eyebrow raised.
Yeonjun's comment made you chuckle nervously, unsure of where this playful banter was leading. Meanwhile, Beomgyu's eyebrows furrowed slightly, a subtle flicker of jealousy crossing his features as he glanced between Yeonjun and you.
"Yeah, well, fashion appreciation aside," Beomgyu interjected casually, trying to mask his unease with a nonchalant tone, "aren’t you supposed to be working right now?"
Taehyun and Kai exchanged a knowing glance, detecting the hint of tension in Beomgyu's voice. They exchanged silent cues, silently egging Yeonjun on while watching Beomgyu's reaction with barely contained amusement.
Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, playing along with a teasing grin. "Of course, I am. I just had to make my way over to compliment her style! You can't blame a guy for noticing good style especially on a pretty girl, can you?"
You glanced nervously at Beomgyu, sensing his slight discomfort but unsure how to defuse the situation. "Are you okay? Are you being threatened right now? Are there cameras?"
Taehyun leaned closer to Kai, whispering under his breath, " This might just work."
Kai nodded with a mischievous grin, fully enjoying the unfolding drama. He kept his eyes on Beomgyu, waiting to see how he would handle the unexpected attention directed at you by Yeonjun.
Yeonjun leaned in slightly closer, his smile widening as he maintained eye contact with you. "Maybe I should take some fashion tips from you sometime. You seem to have a knack for making even the simplest things look good."
Beomgyu's jaw tensed, his gaze narrowing at Yeonjun's playful flirting. He shifted in his seat, a subtle sign of his growing discomfort with the situation.
"You're laying it on pretty thick there, buddy," Beomgyu remarked, his voice betraying a hint of irritation beneath the playful tone.
Taehyun and Kai exchanged excited glances, barely containing their amusement as they watched Beomgyu's jealousy simmering just below the surface. They were about to witness the culmination of their plan when suddenly, the cafe door swung open.
"Soobin!" Kai blurted out, disappointment evident in his voice.
Soobin strode into the cafe, his gaze sweeping over the scene with a quizzical expression. "What's going on here? Why hasn’t anyone ordered anything?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he approached the table.
Soobin glanced between them, sensing the underlying tension but deciding not to press further. "Right, well, I'm starving. Anyone up to share some muffins with me?”
Kai and Taehyun sighed, their plan to coax Beomgyu into admitting his relationship with you temporarily thwarted by Soobin's timely interruption.
—
“He was so flirting with you.” Beomgyu sighed.
"I think he was just teasing me," you tried to defend Yeonjun, although it did seem kind of weird that he acted like that out of nowhere..
Beomgyu shifted uncomfortably in his seat, his brows furrowing slightly. "Teasing, huh?" He muttered, his tone betraying a hint of disbelief. "Sure seemed like more than that."
You glanced at him, noting the tension in his expression. "I’m sure it’s not like that," you reassured him gently, reaching out to touch his arm. "Yeonjun's just being Yeonjun."
"I know, I know," Beomgyu replied, trying to mask his unease with a forced smile. "It's just... weird, you know?"
"Yeah, I get it," you nodded sympathetically, withdrawing your hand.
"Unless, they know about us and are just teasing us about it.”
"I doubt Taehyun and Kai would tell Yeonjun. Right?" you said, voicing your uncertainty.
Beomgyu's expression softened slightly as he considered your words. "Yeah, you're probably right. They wouldn't do that."
"So, let's not overthink it," you suggested, hoping to ease his worries. "We've been doing fine keeping it a little secret."
Beomgyu nodded, a small smile returning to his face. "I guess."
“Just a little while longer together. And we’ll tell them.” You said.
“As long as I have you all to myself.”
—-
"This is getting sort of ridiculous, no?" Beomgyu sighed, taking deep breaths. His brows furrowed in frustration, his chest rising and falling rapidly.
"Weren't you the one who suggested this?" You rolled your eyes, your grip on Beomgyu's shoulders tightening. You straddled his thighs, your body pressed intimately close in the cramped photobooth.
All you wanted was a little bit of light intimacy—a cute photoshoot session without being interrupted by your unsuspecting friends. Unfortunately, your friends, who were usually late, arrived earlier than expected.
"You said they'd be like 20 minutes late. They're 10 minutes early!" You whispered angrily, your voice barely audible over the pounding of your heart.
"I wasn't the one giving flirty glances, so technically this is your fault." Beomgyu turned to face you, a frown on his face. God, he was handsome. You couldn't even stay mad. He was perfect. Little did you know, Beomgyu was thinking the exact same thing.
The two of you spent a moment just looking at each other with loving eyes, the tension melting away. He placed a chaste kiss on your lips, his touch tender and reassuring. "We do need to figure out how we're gonna explain to them why we're in here."
"We could just say we were taking pictures while waiting for them."
"Yeonjun’s gonna ask for the photos. Should we show the ones where I have my tongue shoved down your throat or the one where you kiss my cheek?" Beomgyu spoke sarcastically, a playful glint in his eyes.
"I'm trying my best!" you huffed, frustration mixed with affection as you stared at him.
Beomgyu chuckled softly, his breath warm against your skin. "I know you are," he said, his tone gentle and understanding. He shifted slightly, causing the photobooth to creak under your combined weight. "Maybe we should just sneak out and pretend like nothing happened."
You nodded, the idea sounding more appealing by the second. But just as you were about to suggest it, you heard the unmistakable sound of Kai's voice, loud and clear right outside the booth.
"Hey, didn’t Beomgyu say they’ve both arrived?" Kai's voice was tinged with curiosity and confusion. You froze, your heart pounding even harder.
“Maybe he’s over here!” Taehyun’s voice bellowed through the empty arcade.
Beomgyu quickly brought a finger to his lips, signalling you to stay quiet. He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered, "Stay calm. We'll figure this out."
You nodded again, trying to steady your breathing. The photobooth felt even smaller now, the walls pressing in on you as you listened to the conversation outside.
"They told me they were here a minute ago," another voice chimed in. Taehyun, always the observant one. "Maybe they went to get some snacks or something."
"Or maybe they're in the photo booth," Kai suggested, his tone teasing.
You exchanged a panicked glance with Beomgyu, both of you realizing that your hiding spot was about to be discovered. Without thinking, you pressed your lips to his, muffling the surprised sound he made. It was a desperate attempt to distract both of you from the impending confrontation.
The curtain to the photobooth suddenly flew open, and there stood Kai, the look of amusement on his face. "Well, well, well," he said, crossing his arms over his chest. "What do we have here?"
Just then, Yeonjun grinned and slipped his arm across your shoulders, adding to the chaos.
“Uh, just taking some photos.” You tried explaining.
"Can I have a picture with you next?" he teased.
Beomgyu shoved Yeonjun's arm off, a glare in his eyes. "In your dreams, grandpa."
Soobin, standing behind Kai, grinned as well. "So… what’s this all about?"
"It’s... uh…" Beomgyu stammered, clearly at a loss for words.
"We’re not dating," you managed to blurt out, your voice shaky with panic.
Kai raised an eyebrow, "Okay, and we’re supposed to believe you because... you’re straddled on his legs and when we opened the curtain, you were making out?"
Taehyun added, teasing the two of you, "You’re not making any sense."
Kai was the first to break the silence, a slow grin spreading across his face. "Guys, cut the surprised looks, it’s as obvious as daylight. Taehyun and I can’t keep up with this anymore.”
Soobin gasped, “The two of you knew?!”
“Well, I do too.” Yeonjun smirked.
“What?!”
“Did you really think I’d flirt with you so brazenly? That’s so not me.” Yeonjun explained.
“Wait. So I’m the only one who didn’t know?” Soobin sighed, “Sure, keep me in the dark. The only person who can keep secrets.”
“You told everyone I had a binky till 11. I told you that in confidence!” Kai retaliated.
Soobin chuckled, “Sorry, dude. I just had to tell someone.”
Beomgyu sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair. "Fine. We’re dating. We’ve been dating for like... six months now."
"Six months?!" the four exclaimed in unison, their eyes wide with shock.
"Right under our noses?" Kai whispered, more to himself than anyone else.
"Don’t tell me... all those times you were up in Gyu’s room helping him with his ‘thesis’," Yeonjun said, his face scrunching up in mock disgust.
The two of you nodded slowly. "Sometimes I was," you admitted, a small smile playing on your lips.
"Wait, so all those times Beomgyu was on the phone saying ‘I love you, pretty princess,’ that wasn’t for his mom?" Soobin gasped, his eyes wide with realization.
"You heard that?" Beomgyu's cheeks turned a deep shade of pink, embarrassment clear on his face.
Soobin nodded vigorously. "Yeah, I thought it was weird, but I didn’t want to say anything."
“Well, I’m happy for you guys-ish. I still hate that I was the last to find out.” Soobin sighed.
Beomgyu interjected with a sympathetic smile, patting Soobin's shoulder gently. "It wasn't intentional. We wanted to tell you guys, but we just wanted to make sure we were solid before making it public. We didn’t really want to risk messing up the dynamics of our friendship. And besides, Kai and Taehyun found out by accident."
“We get it. It’s fine," Soobin reassured them, his tone lighter. "If anything, we’re really glad it’s the two of you."
"Yeah and if it makes you feel better," you added, trying to lighten the mood. "You were the last to find out, but now you're first in line to grill us with questions about our relationship!"
Soobin chuckled, the tension easing from his shoulders. "Fair enough. So, spill it—how did this all start? And don't leave out any details!"
“This is…gonna take awhile, isn’t it?” Taehyun sighed, “I’ll go order the food.”

ricky 리키
RICKY HAS not once had a problem with picking you up in his car, despite not going to the same school. You’d always wondered how he found enough time and energy after classes to endure the twenty-kilometer, forty-five-minute drive from his school to yours, especially with how prevalent and severe the traffic was in the city you lived in.
You’ve repeatedly told him—borderline reprimanded—that he’s never had to do this, and that you can make the effort home all by yourself. Ricky’s always replied with a shrug and an excuse about how he likes doing this for you, even if your high schools were in completely opposite directions from the heart of the city.
As your class ends today, you fully expect him to be there, waiting in front of the gate in his wildly expensive bright red car (which used to embarrass you slightly when he pulled up, but you’ve gotten used to it) with a warm smile on his face and a drink in hand for you. Amongst the hurried footsteps of your peers, you manage to find a way past them and straight to the exit, eager to find your boyfriend’s familiar face in the crowd of other students dismissed the same time as you.
It might sound a little hypocritical of you, but even though you didn’t hold it to a standard of Ricky to pick you up everyday, it still made you feel happy inside whenever he did—which has been everyday since the new semester started.
Without fail, the moment you step outside the bounds of campus, your boyfriend is there waiting for you in the expensive bright red car you expected him to be in, with two strawberry lattes in his front seat cup holders visible through the window—one being intended for you.
He unlocks the door as you walk up, waiting for you to fasten your seatbelt and settle in before he shifts the gear stick to drive.
“How was your day?” he inquires, coming to a halt at the first stop light. He pulls the straw of your latte from its spot in the small compartment on the door panel, poking it through the wrapped paper and putting it into the drink for you.
You take a sip when he hands it to you, gulping down before replying. “Good, actually! My teacher was sick and didn’t show up, so I had an entire period to catch up on assignments,” you say. “What about you?”
“Good now that I’m with you,” he answers, shrugging. “My presentation didn’t really go so well, and I didn’t get much sleep last night.”
The school he attended was a notoriously strict, high-standard international school that was practically established to cater to company heirs and others alike—and Ricky was no exception to that. However, it meant that he was also held to a higher standard than most students the same age, and you knew that your schedule and school were more lax than his.
“Let’s get some sleep,” you suggest. He simply hums in agreement as the traffic light turns to green, putting his focus back on the road while accelerating.
You get to Ricky’s house not long after that, greeting his mom before making a beeline to his room. You both sneak under the covers of his bed, and take a minute to talk a bit more about each of your days before settling in fully.
Your boyfriend’s hesitation is palpable, and you’re sure it’s because he feels a little guilty for sleeping when you would usually spend time (awake) together after classes. But his eyelids are betraying him, and his eyes are shutting as the conversation pursues, so you resolve to let him know it’s alright.
“You can go to sleep, I’m okay,” you assure him. “I’ll wake you up later.”
Ricky nods. “Thanks a lot, [Name].” He sinks down into the mattress a bit more. “I love you.”
“Just get some sleep,” you quickly respond. “I love you too.”
You often wondered how your boyfriend always had the energy to pick you up everyday, and today you got your answer—he doesn’t. He’s just been able to find the energy because it was you, and now you know how lucky you are.
gyuvin 규빈
GYUVIN’S UNSURE when this arrangement between the two of you started. It was majorly unspoken, even from the beginning—after class, you would follow the languid crowd of students to the main gate, and you’d find him waiting by the potted camellia plant placed adjacent to the cement post near the opening of the school.
Then, you’d stop by the 7-Eleven around the corner for your fix of ice cream (if you felt like it; if not, the row of frozen yoghurt shops and local coffee pop-ups across were just as inviting). He would offer—no, insist on paying—and you would engage in a back-and-forth about how it shouldn’t be this way, that you should just let him pay, because, you know... he wants to.
And then it’s bittersweet—literally. For some reason, you always pick some kind of wack flavour that Gyuvin has no interest in. Today, it’s limited-edition Baskin Robins espresso-flavoured ice cream in a 4-ounce cup. You probe him to try at least half a spoonful of it, and he does, noting the bitter top note of the taste. He also notes that you let him use the same spoon you used just now, which somehow makes the ice cream come off a bit sweeter on his tongue.
Gyuvin doesn’t remember when all of this became a daily thing. You weren’t even classmates a year ago, much less friends; how did this... happen between you two?
You’ve begun your trek home, side-by-side (him nearer to the street, of course), when he realizes this all started because you live two blocks apart. What he still doesn’t know, though, is why you’ve both kept this routine up for so long.
Whatever. Gyuvin shakes off the thought with a literal shake of the head, tuning back in to what you were saying. He divides the focus of his gaze between you and the path ahead.
“... I suck at the sciences, and, you know, Park Gunwook, all-knowing science genius is always out to get my top 1 spot in class. I’m so—” You groan. “Frustrated!”
He chuckles. “I’ll sabotage him for you.”
“Oh, sure you would. You’d sabotage your best friend’s grades for some classmate.” Rolling your eyes, the notion almost makes you laugh. Gyuvin’s cute when he jokes like this; he always says he’d do all kinds of things for you, and it’s clearly an exaggeration, but it also makes you insanely giddy to believe that he could really mean what he says for a second.
You lick the mini wooden spoon in your hand clean of any remaining melted ice cream. “I hope you don’t tell Gunwook any of this, by the way. I kind of need him to tutor me in physics,” you not-so-sheepishly add, nudging Gyuvin’s arm with your elbow.
“Yeah, he won’t hear anything from me. My loyalty lies with you only,” he jokes.
“I’d hoped so,” you reply.
Then, as per usual, the rest of the walk is silent—with many mumbled warnings from him whenever you cross the road. He’s made it a point to notify you of oncoming vehicles or any potential hazards (like a puddle you can slip in or an obstacle you might trip on). You’ve observed he’s always had that habit, and even though you’re well aware of the ground you walk on yourself, you don’t mind it too much; it just means that he cares for your safety.
Gyuvin’s house is short two blocks in the journey to and fro the school compared to yours, meaning your house is farther away and further behind his. Still, since the first time he walked you home, he’s never complained of the extra steps he takes past his house on the way to yours and the ones he takes back to his after he’s dropped you off.
Today is just like any other day. You arrive at your doorstep, and he hands you the backpack he decided to carry for you halfway into the trip home.
You sling a strap over one shoulder before looking up at him again. “Same time tomorrow?”
Gyuvin nods, a small smile on his face as he affirms your statement. “Same time tomorrow.”
He waits for you to close the door after stepping inside, and then he pivots his heel ninety degrees back towards his house. He’s sure it’s only him, and it must all be in his head, but the air between you has shifted. He might even know why he still chooses to walk you home after all this time.
gunwook 건욱
GUNWOOK AND your favourite time of day is the period just before dusk, when you’ve finished studying together for the afternoon and head up to the—more often than not—restricted rooftop of your school building.
You’re aware that your boyfriend can get in trouble (and perhaps lose his status as class rep) by sneaking up to a blocked-off area of the school, so these visits have become a lot less frequent over the past few months; despite this, you’ve viewed the rooftop as one of your favorite places even though you’ve only been there with Gunwook, and not as frequently as you did before.
To you, whenever you were up there with the boy you loved and held so dearly to your heart, time seemed to slow—you’d take your places on the floor, knees close to your chests as you stared up at the sky, awaiting the sunset and subsequent dusk to fall on you both.
There have been some days that have served as exceptions to the rooftop being exclusively your and Gunwook’s spot, though, like when you feel the desire to be there yourself on the occasion your boyfriend can’t join you due to a prior engagement—a day like today.
The rooftop offered a view of the Seoul skyline, with your school being established strategically near the middle of the city. The breeze was colder in higher places, and it ruffled your hair as it blew past you.
Gunwook assured you that he’d meet with you after he finished something up for the incoming school festival. You admired your boyfriend for being so hardworking and kind towards everyone, even when you and he both knew he felt pressured most of the time.
And at this moment in time—the rooftop doesn’t feel as special to you alone in comparison to when Gunwook is here to accompany you. The view is still breathtaking, and the winds hitting your face are refreshing, but time isn’t slowing down for you like it does when you’re with him. This is your spot together, after all.
A tap on your shoulder wakes you straight out of your thoughts, and you turn to see a smiley Gunwook preparing to sit down beside you on the floor. When he has, he inches closer to you so you can lie your head on his shoulder the way he knows you want to. Then, the motion of your hands finding each other is almost automatic; he begins to stroke the back of your hand in circular movements with his thumb.
“So, how long have you been up here, huh?” your boyfriend teases, flashing his gummy smile and earning a light chuckle from you. “Since you left me to go do your student council thing,” you respond, scoffing.
Gunwook laughs. “Hey, I think you’ll enjoy the school festival when it happens. We even got that bungeoppang seller outside that you like so much to come in,” he tells you, “I just have one thing to do on festival day—and then, after that, I’m free and we can sneak off up here.”
“What do you have to do on festival day?” you ask.
The boy next to you giggles, knowing that what’s about to come out of his mouth is too cheesy for how long you’ve been dating (which was about to be three years soon). “Take a picture with my [Name], of course.”
You can’t even begin to digest that overly exaggerated sweet statement, and you rip your hand away from Gunwook’s jokingly. “You’re so...” You shake your head in feigned disapproval. “Cheesy.”
“I am, but it’s only for you,” he says, beaming.
“Yeah, yeah, okay,” you brush it off, lips curving into an upward crescent. “If other people knew you said this kind of stuff to me, they’d never see you the same way again.”
Gunwook rolls his eyes, now throwing his arm over your shoulder. “I’m lucky it’s just us here then.”
yujin 유진
YUJIN’S BEEN athletically inclined since elementary school, and you’d be lying to say you weren’t envious of him sometimes. With training and his becoming popular overnight when the first semester of tenth grade started, though, it’s undeniable that he’s been perpetually busy.
So, whenever your long-time best friend does get the time to spend with you, you make the most out of it and do something memorable together; however, you could never really tell when his high school varsity coach would schedule a last-minute training session and ruin your plans.
Today is... unfortunately one of those days. You’d taken a bit of time to plan a hang out consisting of a late afternoon stroll through the park, then dinner at a restaurant you stumbled upon recently Yujin hadn’t tried yet but served his favourite food. You knew this was all in vain, though, when just as the bell rang, you found him at the foot of your classroom door, holding a drink from the vending machine as an “I’m sorry” gift to express his regret (and guilt).
He grins an awkward, strained grin when you make eye contact. “[Name], I know you had something planned out today, but—”
“It’s okay, Yujin. We can do it another time,” you say, taking his hand in yours and starting to walk away from the door.
“Really?” he questions. “I hate doing this to you, and I’d spend all my time with you if l could, because, you know, you’re...” he pauses, visibly deliberating what to say, “you’re my best friend, and I don’t want to make you feel like our friendship is one-sided because it’s not, I don’t want it to be, and we’ve been friends since middle—”
Due to the frequency of this kind of thing happening, you’ve grown accustomed to it. The first few times your best friend bailed on you, you felt hurt (and maybe upset), but it’s happened enough times now that it doesn’t faze you anymore.
You stop in your tracks, facing Yujin. “It’s really okay,” you repeat, dropping his hand. You understand that he has his own obligations, and you could take no other course of action than to give way; moreover, you’d known for a while that since approaching high school, your friendship would be different. Things were bound to change, anyway.
He winces. “Are you sure?”
“I am,” you answer. “I’ll wait for you.”
“Okay.”
You decide to spend the two hours Yujin’s at practice to finish all your due assignments—but it’s hard to devote yourself entirely to organic chemistry when all you can do is think of him. You’d liked your best friend since the summer of ninth grade.. and you’re in eleventh now. Evidently, you’ve never told anyone, much less Yujin himself, and it’s starting to take a toll on you... and so does simply thinking about it. So, to avoid giving your feelings any more thought than you already have, you put down the black Muji pen you’ve been using to revise your notes and surrender to sleep.
When Yujin finds you, your eyelids are closed and you’re lying down on your left arm, head turned to the right. The homework he presumes you were trying to do is sprawled out across the table messily, but your pen still has a place in your hand. He wonders how long you’ve been asleep, mimicking your position this time facing you. Not long after, he falls asleep staring at you.
When you wake up, your eyes feel like they’ve been glued shut. You can’t flutter them open as easily as you usually can, and even when you do, your vision is clouded and hazy. Still, you can make out the sleeping Yujin resting his head on his forearms and facing you—sure, your eyelids had a hard time fluttering, but your heart didn’t (as cliché as that sounds). Sitting up, you click your phone on and discover that it’s an hour past the time he finished practice. He must’ve fallen asleep waiting for you to wake up; you fell asleep waiting for him.
You know you should probably wake him up, but you can’t help it and rest your head back down onto the table anyway. He looks really... calm this way; it’s nice. Your gaze flickers from one facial feature of his to another, then another, and so on. And then, suddenly, you remember why you’ve liked him for this long.
Yujin slowly wakes up, rubbing his eyes and running a hand through his hair as he does. The second he becomes aware that you’re awake too, he jolts up.
“Come on, [Nickname]. Let’s go get dinner,” he invites.
You’re packing your things into your backpack when Yujin, who is standing awkwardly off to the side, interrupts. “I’ll skip practice next time—I’m sorry.”

index part seven | part nine
part eight word count: 2,912
you had decided that this weekend would be the best one of your life. after all, it was finally time for the annual summer trip that you go on with Yuji and your friends every break; last year it was the beach, but this year the group vote was to stay in a cozy cabin in the woods with plans for hiking and exploring. but your favorite part was the idea of making smores and drinking around the campfire.
“Yuji let’s go! we have to get a move on!” you yelled up the stairs, your patience wearing thin as you waited for him to hurry. you heard a clumsy thud from above, followed by a series of frantic footsteps. Yuji appeared, hopping down the stairs on one foot while struggling to put his shoes on fast enough.
“jeez, mom, I’m moving as fast as I can.” Yuji quipped, nearly losing his balance but catching himself on the stair railing. “why am I the only one getting yelling at?”
he had a point. you turned back to the stairs and hollered, “Choso, we’re going to leave without you!”
convincing Choso to join this years trip had been a small miracle – and Yuji insisted it was because you asked him to. normally, Choso wasn’t one for group outings, often dismissing your friends as immature and obnoxious. it was a mystery to you as to why he agreed to come along this time, but you weren’t complaining.
you silently thanked your lucky stars that Sukuna wasn’t around when you’d asked; he had been off on a trip with his own friends this week, conveniently coming back after you guys had left. with the increased distance between the two of you, you were slowly forgetting the anxiety you had about what had happened, instead opting to focus on the joy of hanging out with Yuji and Choso.
finally, Choso came down the stairs, at a snail’s pace you might add, carrying a duffel bag and wearing headphones around his neck. “I’ve got my music queued up for when we get in the car, so don’t even think about bothering me.” he plainly told you and Yuji, his expression already showing signs of the annoyance to come.
“Aw come on Choso. what if I wanted to play I Spy with you?” you teased, poking him in the side to agitate him more – but it had the opposite effect. instead of swatting you away and groaning like usual, Choso merely smiled at you and shrugged away from your intrusion, a hint of amusement flickering in his eyes.
by the time you managed to herd the two of them out the door, Nobara and Megumi were waiting by the car. Nobara was tapping her foot impatiently, her gaze sweeping over the three of you with a critical eye. “which one of you took the longest to get ready?” she demanded.
without hesitation, you pointed at Choso and Yuji, while they both pointed back at you. your jaw dropped in outrage. “hey! I was the one yelling at you two to get your asses downstairs!”
“doesn’t matter.” Megumi said with a sigh, rolling his eyes. “just get in the car so we can get moving.” he slid into the driver’s seat, with Nobara taking the passenger seat. you were left to squeeze in the back, wedged between Yuji and Choso. with a final round of groans and shuffles, you all took off on the journey.
being sandwiched between Yuji and Choso wasn’t the most comfortable arrangement, and there was absolutely no room to stretch out. Yuji, like a child, kept poking and pestering Nobara from behind her seat – this inevitably led to you getting caught in the crossfire, often receiving a swift swipe from the red head accidentally.
the drive wasn’t long, but it was just long enough to leave you feeling cramped and achy. you glanced over at Choso, who had his headphones in and his eyes shut, likely tuning out the chaos of the car. deciding to take a chance, you gently pulled one of the earbuds from his ear.
Choso’s eyes snapped open in irritation before he realized it was you. “can I listen too?” you asked, offering a hopeful smile hoping to persuade him.
he nodded, a soft smile spreading across his face. you took the extra earbud and popped it into your ear. to your surprise, Choso’s playlist was filled with lo-fi music – pleasantly surprising you. the gentle beats began to relax you, and you found yourself leaning against Choso’s shoulder, closing your eyes.
unbeknownst to you, Choso’s face turned a delicate shade of pink at the unexpected contact. he looked down at you, finding you utterly adorable as you sought comfort in his presence. his smile widened as he enjoyed the moment. just then, he noticed Yuji staring at him, eyes wide in disbelief.
“what the hell?” Yuji mouthed silently, his expression a mix of surprise and confusing.
Choso quickly mouthed back, “don’t know what you’re talking about,” before settling back into his seat and closing his eyes. even though he was eager for the car ride to be over, a part of him wished it would go on forever so he could savor your closeness a bit longer.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ .
you hadn’t meant to fall asleep, but the gentle shaking your shoulder woke you, and you realized you’d dozed off for the entire ride.
“y/n, we’re here.” Choso said softly, nudging you awake. as you blinked away the remnant of sleep and sat up, you stretched and tried to shake off the drowsiness. “I think you drooled on my shirt a little.” he added with a hint of amusement.
your eyes widened in alarm as you quickly glanced at Choso’s shirt, but there was no sign of drool. Choso’s laughter only made your cheeks flush with embarrassment. “don’t do that to me; I was about to feel terrible for sleeping on you.” you snapped, giving him a playful swat.
once you all exited the car, you took a deep breath and stretched your limbs, relishing the opportunity to pop a few joints. the cabin that stood before you was charming and cozy, exactly what you’d been looking forward to. the surrounding quiet was a welcome change from the car ride chaos. you mentally noted to thank Megumi later for using Gojo’s card to book the place – or perhaps thank Gojo himself.
Nobara broke the silence, questioning, “so, what’s the sleeping arrangement?”
“I’ll bunk with Yuji, and the rest of you can get your own rooms.” Megumi answered, a smirk on his face as Yuji beamed with approval.
“but Megumi, you booked the place.” you protested. “surely, you should get your own room.”
“don’t argue.” Nobara cut in firmly. “we get our own rooms.” you suspected that Nobara’s insistence was partly why Megumi had arranged it this way. while you loved her to death, her sometimes picky nature made you relieved to not be sharing a room with her.
the group entered the cabin, immediately splitting off to go find the bedrooms and place luggage inside. you chose a bedroom on the second floor, away from the action, perfect. if you needed a quiet moment, you knew you would be able to escape up here.
while unpacking your bag, you heard footsteps approaching up the stairs. curiosity piqued, you peeked out of your room to see who would be claiming the other room on the second floor. to your surprise, it was Choso.
he caught your eye and smiled warmly. “coming up here for the quiet too?” he asked, his voice gentle.
you blushed slightly and nodded. “yeah, you know how those three can drink and stay up late. I didn’t want to be kept up all night.”
Choso nodded in understanding and proceeded to the extra room to settle in, the door directly across from yours. you felt a wave of relief knowing that Choso was your neighbor up here. it was reassuring to have someone who wouldn’t be a nuisance, and thankfully, he didn’t have his stereo system from home to blast music all the time.
once everyone had settled in, you all regrouped in the kitchen, where Megumi and Yuji were taking charge of dinner. they were in full swing, cooking up a storm as they worked together seamlessly. Nobara, perched on a stool nearby, pestered them with a constant stream of corrections.
you and Choso, seated comfortably at the bar, watched the spectacle with amusement. Yuji had thoughtfully packed your favorite drinks in the cooler before you all left home, and you took a satisfied sip from the can. even though you knew that the weekend was likely to be filled with drinking games, you were just content to unwind and enjoy your alcohol responsibly.
as dinner came to a close, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara set up a game of drunk jenga in the living room, their excitement building with every clink of a beer bottle. Choso and you decided to bow out; it was the first night at the cabin, and you wanted to wake up refreshed without a hangover tomorrow.
as the night progessed, the room was filled with the sounds of laughter and playful competition. you found yourself feeling blissfully content, sitting a little closer to Choso on the couch and relishing in the comfort.
“who do you think is gonna lose this round?” you asked Choso, your eyes fixed on Yuji as he came close to toppling the wooden tower over.
“hm…” Choso pondered, watching the game intently. after a moment, he said, “I’m betting on Yuji. he’s been a bit clumsy this round.”
“wanna make it interesting?” you suggest with a playful raise of your eyebrow. Choso’s eyes sparkled with intrigue, and he tilted his head slightly.
“what do you have in mind?” he asked, his tone light but with a hint of challenge. for a moment you thought you felt butterflies begin to flutter in your stomach.
“if I win, I get to steal your headphones for the drive back.” you proposed with a grin.
“sounds fair.” Choso agreed, pausing to consider his own wager. “alright then. if I win, you have to go to dinner with me when we get home.”
your stomach did a little flip at his proposition, and you could feel the butterflies taking flight. “how does that put me out?” you asked, your cheeks warming up as you felt the heat rise.
“you’d have to pay.” Choso said with a grin, noticing your realization. “and I eat a lot – maybe not as much as Yuji, but be prepared for a hefty bill.”
you groaned in mock frustration, but there was an undeniable thrill within you at the wager. “fine, but I’m taking you to a McDonald’s.”
“what’s not what I –” Choso started to protest, but his words were cut off by sudden, unexpected knock at the front door.
everyone in the room paused, their attention shifting to the door with a mix of curiosity and concern. Nobara’s brows furrowed. “who the hell could that be?”
Yuji stood up, slightly swaying but with an air of confidence. “maybe it’s the owner of the rental.” he suggested. as he made his way to the door, you noticed Choso’s hand reaching back toward you, a subtle protective gesture that warmed your heart.
with bated breath, you all watched as Yuji turned the doorknob and pulled the door open.
you’d seen plenty of scary movies, the ones where a group of friends go to a cabin in the woods and run into an axe murderer, but nothing could have prepared you for the jump scare you received when the door opened
“guys, look who decided to show up!” Yuji exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement as he gestured to the figure in the doorway.
“looks like my trip ended a bit early, so I thought I’d take my little bro up on his offer.” Sukuna said with a wide grin, his gaze sweeping over the room. his eyes landed on you, and his grin momentarily faltered before returning, albeit a bit force. he glanced at Choso, whose hand was still protectively reaching toward you. “Choso, didn’t think this was your scene.”
“y/n asked me to come along. I couldn’t say no.” Choso replied through gritted teeth. “didn’t think you’d show up either.”
Sukuna chuckled, making his way into the living room and sitting in a chair that, thankfully, was not next to you. “well, someone's gotta make sure none of you kids do anything stupid.” he said, his eyes lingering on you. you quickly looked away, feeling a flush of discomfort.
“we don’t have an extra bedroom.” Megumi stated calmly, though his body was visibly tense. you knew that Megumi and Nobara really didn’t like Sukuna, only tolerating his presence for Yuji’s sake.
“I’ll take the couch.” Sukuna shrugged, but his gaze remained fixed on you, making you feel increasingly nervous. “or I could share a bed if anyone’s willing.”
“the couch is fine.” Nobara said, her voice dripping with disdain as she caught the look Sukuna was giving you.
you felt like you couldn’t breathe the longer you could feel Sukuna stare at you. having Choso sitting between you two didn’t help much, considering he was beginning to act like your bodyguard making Sukuna only stare harder.
there goes your peaceful getaway.
as Sukuna settled into the living room, the tension became almost palpable. Megumi and Nobara exchanged uneasy glances, while Yuji of course remained unaware, but soon returned to their game.
you stayed put on the couch next to Choso, trying to avoid Sukuna’s lingering gaze. Choso’s presence was a small comfort, his protective demeanor evident as he subtly inched closer to you, his body language signaling he wasn’t happy with Sukuna’s intrusion either.
eventually, Sukuna leaned back in his chair, his eyes still occasionally drifting towards you. he made no effort to engage with the group’s activated, instead seemingly content to observe and occasionally interject with comments that seemed designed to provoke a reaction. Nobara was the easiest to rile up, and you heard her cursing at him every few minutes.
as if sensing the need for a break, Choso stood and stretched. “I’m going to grab a drink. anyone else want anything?” he asked. you took the opportunity to get up as well, eager to escape Sukuna’s wandering eyes.
you followed Choso into the kitchen, where he began rummaging through the cooler for another drink. “I’m sorry about this.” Choso said quietly as he handed you a drink. “I didn’t expect him to show up – honestly, I didn’t know Yuji invited him.”
you took a sip, appreciating the drink and Choso’s attempt to offer comfort. “It’s not your fault.” you replied. “I guess I thought this weekend was going to be relaxing.”
Choso shook his head, his expression shifting to one of mild annoyance. “I know he can be uncomfortable sometimes.” he admitted, his voice low. “he’s always been a bit… inappropriate around you.”
you nearly choked on your drink at his words. if only Choso knew the full extent. the thought of what would happen if Choso and Yuji found out about the bruises being left by Sukuna made your stomach churn. this was definitely not the time to reveal that particular little secret.
“actually, I appreciate the drink, but I think I’m going to head to bed early.” you said, your lips forming a thin line as you mentally cursed Sukuna for dampening your mood. you wanted to act like his presence didn’t bother you, but tonight, you didn’t have the strength to put on a brave face.
Choso’s hand gently rested on your arm, and his brows furrowed in concern, the tattoo across his nose wrinkling as well. “does he make you that uncomfortable?” he asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.
you couldn’t tell Choso exactly what you were feeling right now, so you just shrugged and gave a small weary smile. “nah, he’s just an ass. I’m just tired from the drive.” you lied, and Choso nodded in acceptance.
“I won’t let him ruin your fun, don’t worry.” Choso smiled softly, a gesture you couldn’t help but return as you set down your beer and rubbed your clammy palms on your pants.
“let me know who loses – I expect to find those headphones in my ears when we leave in a couple of days.” you teased, making him laugh, before you turned and made your way for the stairs.
Yuji caught your movement, shouting out at you, “y/n, you’re going to bed already?”
you paused at the bottom of the stairs, turning to give your best friend an apologetic smile. “yeah, just sleepy from the trip.”
you refused to acknowledge the fact that Sukuna was unabashedly staring you down, and you were unaware of Choso glancing between the two of you as you fidgeted with your fingers.
“if you need anything don’t hesitate to let me know.” Choso told you, making you look towards him. he offered you a smile, trying to make you feel better. “I’m right across the hall if you need me.”
oh boy, if only you knew how that made Sukuna’s blood boil.
you nodded your thanks, bidding everyone goodnight before almost rushing up the stairs. once you were behind a closed door, you let out a deep sigh of relief.
and all you had wanted was a peaceful getaway.

Your head bumps against the car window as you jolt awake.
“About time that you woke up, babe,” Luke grins, his eyes still on the road. Blinking slowly, you look around at the trees blurring together as you stare out the window, recognizing where you are. The two of you were driving up from your apartment in Brooklyn, finally going to see his mom for the weekend. With graduation steadily approaching in the next few months, there was a lot to think about.
“How long was I out?” you groan, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. The sun is setting now, and a blue “Welcome to Connecticut! We’re Full of Surprises!” sign whizzes past the passenger window.
“Just an hour, but I got a little lonely,” Luke hums, rubbing circles on your thigh while his other hand is on the wheel. You lace your fingers with his own, watching him yawn. You can tell he needs this, and with all the time your dad drags you back to Montauk for ‘consults’, it’d be nice to get a dose of normal for once.
“Poor baby.”
Laughter spills out of you like a melody as you crack open the still-cold redbull in the cupholder, and he can’t help but admire your side profile as you take big sips. He’s so in love with you, and this weekend will be perfect. It has to be.
“Mmm, want some?”
Your boyfriend takes a sip, smiling when he hears you singing along to a Taylor Swift song. As you hold up an imaginary microphone for him to warble into, the distance to his childhood home gets smaller and smaller, until you spot the white picket fence of the property and squeal in excitement.
“Hurry up, I wanna see your mom!” you giggle, stomping your feet onto the car floor as he drives up the grassy path and honks loudly.
“Hey, I thought I was your favorite Castellan, trouble…” Luke says and his voice trails off when he sees his mom peeking through the kitchen window, waving at you.
“Whatever you say, angelface.”
You almost hop out of the car and run up the steps to hug her, gentle hands pulling you into a feeling of comfort only mothers can give.
“Hi Ms. Castellan!”
“Oh honey, I told you May is fine, or Mom. You’re already my favorite kid!” she grins, her smile exactly like her son’s, and the both of you turn to hear Luke grumbling as he pops the trunk to get your bags.
“Hi mommy,” Luke chuckles, bumping your hip to push you into the house as he kisses May’s cheek, “Stop being so obvious, you’re gonna spoil my surprise!” His hands fumble with the bags as he props a knee up to readjust his hold on your backpack and May’s hands reach out to help him.
“No, it’s okay, I got it, I got it…”
May catches the ring box that falls out of Luke’s back pocket, holding it to her chest with a knowing smile.
“You’re always gonna need some help, whether you admit it or not, my love.” She tucks the box into the pocket of his flannel shirt, patting it before she pinches his cheek.
“Luckily, you have a woman like her. Bless her heart for what you’ll put her through,” May says laughing at his scrunched-up expression.
“Guess I’m just scared she’ll say no.”
Luke sighs, looking at her like she holds the answers to the world.
“She’ll be crazy if she says no,” she reasons, and they both listen to you setting the table in the dining room.
“No, she’ll be crazy if she says yes. That’s why I want to marry her,” he snorts, bringing the bags in through the doorway.
“Um, mom? I think the cookies are burning!” you call out, sounding panicked.
The weight of the box in his pocket feels heavy, but his heart has never felt so light and sure of what’s to come.

The cries of a child echoed through the small meadow and the rapid steps of another, to the source of the crying.
“Gosh, it’s not like you fell that hard!”
There in the meadow, were three children. One child had [color] and was sitting in the meadow, bawling their eyes out. Their knees were exposed, scraped, and bleeding. A child with short purple hair, all different shades, and choppy bangs. He was standing in the middle of the meadow; his eyes were staring at the crying child with annoyance. The last kid had short green hair, ruffled at the top, and wore glasses. He crouched down to the crying child shushing them in a soft caring tone.
“There [Reader], it’s okay. Here, let me help you up.”
“O-Ok. . .”
[Reader] took the hand, stifling their cries with sniffles and hiccups.
“It’s what you get for being clumsy, we told you not to run down the meadow, stupid.”
“Chenya! You’re not helping. Don’t listen to him, [Reader]. Let's get you cleaned up when we get to my house.”
“Thank you. . .Trey.”
“Of course, [Reader]. I’m always here for you. . .”
Chenya rolled his eyes and continued walking,
“Ugh, Trey is in love~! Whatever, I will leave you two if you don’t hurry up.”
Trey’s ears turned bright red and so did his cheeks,
“N-No I am not! I’m just a good friend, unlike you.”
He huffed out that last comment and turned to face [Reader]. His thumb went to the corner of their eyes, and he wiped their remaining tears.
“There, ready to head out?”
[Reader] nodded, they smiled and took his hand in theirs.
“Thank you, Trey.”
All three continued to their friend's house, Riddle Rosenhearts. Chenya walked ahead leaving Trey and [Reader] alone, hand in hand. Later that day, after playing with their friend, Chenya bid Trey and [Reader] a good night. Before leaving, he stuck out his tongue at [Reader] who returned the favor.
“You two, stop fighting. Anyways, see you tomorrow, Chenya.”
“Night Trey, night [Reader]. Don’t fall in your dreams either, [Reader].”
“Oh, shut up!”
Chenya left shortly after his small encounter, leaving Trey and [Reader] alone. Trey adverted his gaze and from the corner of his eye, saw [Reader] looking intensely at Chenya.
“[Reader], let’s go back to my house.”
“What for?”
“We still haven’t cleaned your wounds yet, remember?”
A scab had already formed on their knee, but he was right. They couldn’t disinfect it and after hearing Riddle’s talk about it getting infected and Chenya’s teasing about having to cut their leg off, [Reader] didn’t want to take any chances.
“Oh okay, let’s go!”
Trey led them to his home and his mother greeted them at the door, they had noticed the wounds and expressed concern,
“Oh dear, here sit on the couch and I’ll be right back with the first aid kit.”
[Reader] did as they were told, and Trey’s mother returned shortly after with the kit. They grabbed the rubbing alcohol and cotton pads to disinfect.
“This might sting, Trey, hold their hand.”
Trey did that exactly and his mother applied alcohol, cleaning the wound. Once the pad made contact with their skin, [Reader] let out a hiss, and tears welled in their eyes. Trey quickly took notice and wiped them away with his free hand while squeezing the hand they were holding.
“There, all done.”
His mom said and made sure the band-aid was placed correctly with no lumps.
“You did good [Reader]. Trey, you’ve been looking after them, right?”
“Of course I have!”
“That’s good, would you like to stay for dinner, [Reader]?”
“Yes please!”
His family had gathered around the table to have dinner with [Reader]. After dinner, Trey, [Reader], and his siblings played for a while before getting ready for bed. Trey’s mother had called [Reader’s] parents and asked them if it was alright for them to spend the night at their house, which they agreed was fine. Since it was short notice, they couldn’t prepare a spare bed but were quick to accommodate.
“[Reader], do you mind sleeping in Trey’s bed?”
[Reader] shook their head. They did not mind sleeping in his bed, much less sharing it.
“W-well where would I sleep?”
Trey had turned to ask his mom who gave him a confused look.
“In your bed as well, Trey. Do you mind sharing a bed with [Reader]?”
Trey’s cheeks flushed pink, but he knew it was nothing different than sharing a bed with his siblings or friends, so he quickly got over his embarrassment.
“Then it’s settled, that is of course if it’s okay with you, [Reader]?”
“Of course! I don’t mind sleeping with Trey!”
Sleeping arrangements were finalized and the couple tucked both kids in, bidding them a pleasant night. [Reader] was sleeping on one side of the bed and Trey on the other, reminiscing about their day.
“I had so much fun today, Trey! I can’t wait to play with Riddle and Chenya again tomorrow! Even if he is a little mean. . .”
Trey’s expression softened at them and he turned his body sideways to face them.
“I’m excited to play with everyone again tomorrow but you know it’s not nice to fight with others, [Reader].”
“He started it! I didn’t do anything, Chenya is just a big old mean bully!”
[Reader] huffed in frustration, thinking back to the boy with the smug grin and his witty comments. Trey merely laughed at their cute, annoyed expression,
“Alright, if Chenya is a bully to you tomorrow I will say something but don’t fight with him anymore, okay?”
With a heavy sigh, [Reader] agreed.
“You’re very nice to me Trey, that’s why I love you a lot! Unlike Chenya, so that’s why I love spending time with you.”
Trey’s eyes widened at the confession and his cheeks flushed, staring at them in awe.
“Y-you love me. . .?”
“Of course, I do! You’re like my older brother, you’re nice and take care of me.”
Trey’s expression fell for a second before he chuckled and placed his hand on their head, ruffling their hair.
“I love you too, [Reader]. You’re like a younger sibling to me too. . .”
With that, the two fell asleep into a deep slumber where his parents would come to find them holding hands in their sleep.
~~
Following the years to come, Trey and [Reader] had remained as close as can be. Both attended the same middle school and frequently had sleepovers, playdates, and events together. Everything was the same even when Trey and [Reader] got the letter of acceptance from Night Raven College. Both were excited to attend NRC and even more excited when they were both assigned to the same dorm, Heartslaybul. It was the beginning of their high school life, but there was only one problem. Cater Diamond. During their time at NRC, they met Cater Diamond who became best friends with them. Trey thought he was an interesting fellow who certainly was hiding something, but [Reader] was different. Instead, they were enamored with him. Cater was the responsible upperclassman who wasn’t afraid to loosen up a bit. It had been a small crush that wasn’t noticeable to the naked eye, but someone like Trey who had practically lived with [Reader] all their life knew something was off. [Reader]’s crush was harmless because he knew Cater wouldn’t like them romantically. It still hurt to see [Reader] love him after all these years. It was okay though because Cater would never love them. . or so he thought.
They were in their third year and discussing the internships that they would be undergoing during their fourth year,
“So what did you pick Cater?”
“Nothing yet, I’m not sure what to do and now I’m even more confused after hearing everyone else. I guess everyone has their life planned out. . .”
Trey nodded but the two remained silent. The silence was cut short when Cater spoke up,
“I wonder what [Reader] is going to do. Maybe I’ll go to the one they pick, who knows.”
Trey perked up at the comment,
“Oh, why do you say that?”
Cater lazily turned to look at Trey and gave out a sigh,
“I know you’re very close to them Trey, but do me a favor. Don’t tell them what I’m going to tell you but I care for them. I think I like them.”
Trey’s breath hitched,
“O-oh really? What makes you say that. . .Cater?”
“They’re always near me and while that can be a bore to some it’s nice to know that there's someone in my corner. They’re honest and they’re not trying to suck up to me because they voice their feelings and aren’t afraid to call me out. I don’t need to keep up appearances or a persona with them. I can be genuine and I like that.”
Trey kept a stoic face, then awkwardly smiled. Hands scratching behind his head,
“I see. . .your secret is safe with me Cater. I will say this much, I’ve grown up with [Reader] and I swear if you hurt them-”
“I won’t. I would never dream of it and I certainly wouldn’t want to incur your wrath, Trey. So scary!”
Cater made a face before the two shared a small laugh. If only Cater knew that Trey wasn’t joking and was plotting against him at the very moment.
~
Trey aimed to prevent [Reader] and Cater from being alone. Cater wouldn’t confess his feelings towards [Reader] if others were looking. Despite being flashy and always posting, Cater valued his privacy. Right now [Reader] was missing but Trey was certain where to find them. Cater had his music club right about now and knowing [Reader], they were probably in the clubroom with him. Trey made it to the room only to see Lilia and Kalim talking.
“Trey!”
“Oh, good afternoon Trey. Are you looking for Cater?”
“Kalim, Lilia, you could say that. Is Cater around? Looks like Riddle wants us back to dorm stat.”
A white lie, that was all.
“Oh, well you’re just in luck! They’re already heading back to the dorms!”
Kalim voiced, making Trey question his verbiage.
“They?”
“Oh! [Reader] was here too, they both just left. They looked happy and were chatting about something.”
Lilia clarified for Trey.
Kalim smiled and turned to Trey,
“I’m so happy for Cater. Make sure to say congratulations Trey!”
“Congratulations. . .?”
Lilia sighed,
“Kalim, not yet. He hasn’t asked!”
Trey felt a sigh of relief wave over him, but he had to intervene one way or another.
“ Oh, I see! Sorry, but I must get going before Riddle has my head. See you guys around.”
Trey bid his farewells and walked back to the hall of mirrors, Kalim and Lilia both bid him a farewell. At this point, Trey was running, if they had just left then they might still be at the hall of mirrors that was filled with students returning from their clubs like them. If that was the case, there was still time! Once he got to the hall of mirrors, he panicked as they were nowhere to be seen. He immediately rushed to his dorm and thought, if Cater were to confess, where would he go? Luckily he didn’t need to rack his brain for long, as Ace and Deuce were lounging about.
“Ace, Deuce! Sorry, but have you guys seen Cater? I need to speak to him.”
“Oh, hey Trey! Yeah, we saw him not too long ago. He was talking to [Reader] and they were heading to the dorm rooms. They left the lounge area like about. . .3 minutes ago?”
Deuce answered his question, but his response did not soothe Trey.
“I see, well thanks! I’ll be heading out now, if you see him or [Reader], could you shoot me a text?”
“Yeah, we got it.”
Ace and Deuce nodded, turning back to what they were doing initially. Trey began to head to the dorm rooms and once he reached their area, he saw Cater and [Reader] standing in front of Cater’s dorm room.
“I recommend checking out this artist, all their music is super good and I’ve been trying to get Lilia and Kalim to do something similar with me but it’s no use. Those two just don’t get it.”
Cater sighed and held a face of disappointment, but perked up when he heard [Reader] chuckle.
“Well, Lilia likes metal and wants to add screams to everything and Kalim just loves music that he wants to add every kind of beat and instrument. I’m sure you guys could make your own version, but I’ll check out their music!”
Cater smiled and turned to them,
“[Reader] I-”
“Cater! There you are, I’ve been looking all over for you.”
Trey arrived at the right time, cutting Cater off and from making a mistake.
“Oh, Trey. . how can I help?
Cater’s gentle smile that for [Reader] turned forced and strained, like a ‘hey can’t you see I’m doing something, the hell do you need’. Cater had told Trey his plans to confess soon, but he figured he would be able to read the room to see what he was planning on doing.
“Hey, [Reader]. . .sorry Cater I didn’t want to bother you but Riddle wants to speak to you. Says it’s an emergency.”
At the mention of their housewarden, Cater sighed and gave an anxious smile.
“Well, if Riddle wants to speak to me who am I to say no? Sorry, [Reader] but I’ll catch up with you later, okay?”
“Mhm, I’ll be waiting Cater!”
Cater waved them goodbye and turned to walk towards Riddle’s dorm room. The moment Cater was out of sight, Trey turned to [Reader].
“Are you going back to your room? I can walk you.”
“Oh, yes I was, and sure, I’ll take you up on it.”
Trey walked [Reader] to their room and made light conversation on the way. Once they arrived, [Reader] thanked Trey and then asked for help on a subject.
“You want me to tutor you?”
“Yes, please! If Riddle were to see my last potion’s exam score he would surely have my head! Professor Crewel is letting me retake it and I can go in on Friday, but I need help!”
Trey thought back to all the time he spent tutoring [Reader] and hanging out with them after school, how could he say no?
“Alright, let’s see what we’re working with. I’ll help. Let’s go to my room though, I think I have some old workbooks in there.”
“Thank you, Trey! I’ll make it up to you!”
[Reader] went inside their room to collect their materials and then headed over with Trey to his dorm room. He invited them in and sat on a desk chair while he walked around to find his study materials. Curiosity got the better of him despite already knowing the answer,
“So, what did Cater want to talk to you about? You guys seemed. . .close.”
“O-oh, nothing important. Just some club stuff, they’re planning on performing at a school event but aren’t sure what to play so he just wanted a second opinion.”
“I see. . Well here are the books. What do you say we get to studying?”
After a while, 48 minutes to be exact, [Reader] was still struggling.
“So, when these two mix they don’t cause a reaction?”
“No, because if you see here in this example-”
After explaining it for a minute, [Reader] still looked at Trey in confusion, who just sighed a their expression.
“Okay, we can review again. I don’t want to overwhelm you with information when it seems you’re deep in thought. Anything you want to talk about it?”
Trey offered an ear to what he assumed was a problem.
“Hey Trey, can I be honest?”
“ Of course, what’s on your mind?”
“Well. . .I’ve had a crush on Cater for a while and sometimes, I feel like he knows or feels the same way. He sometimes says things where they could be meant for friends but they linger in my thoughts and I think maybe he likes me. He’s your best friend, has he ever mentioned anything about me?”
“Well-”
Trey tried to respond but was cut off by [Reader].
“It's just, I like Cater. I think he’s an amazing person who listens to others around him and he is always there to help! He is super easy to talk to and wants to make the most of his school life you know? He is like a safe space where I can talk about things I feel embarrassed to confess to another, I know that deep down he won’t open up as fast as another and he’s hiding behind something. Some might think it’s annoying, being friends for three years but still not knowing how the other truly feels or thinks. I trust Cater will open up when he wants, and I’m okay with that. I want to support him like he supports me. Sometimes I feel like, I found my soulmate here!”
Trey adverted his eyes and his once expressive face turned stoic. He was angry and tired,
“Shut the fuck up.”
“W-what?”
“I said, shut the fuck up! I’m tired of listening to you talk endlessly about Cater and how much you love him. It’s pathetic, you fell in love with someone who probably doesn’t know what they want or who they are. This whole time I. . .I’ve been here. I love you, [Reader]. What does Cater have that I don’t have?”
[Reader] stared at Trey with wide eyes and swallowed thickly.
“T-Trey. . .it’s not that Cater has something that you lack. It’s more like. . .oh how do I explain this, Trey, I don’t like you like that. To me, you’re more of an older brother, y’know? Someone I can depend on and ask for help; I don’t see you as a romantic partner.”
Trey just stared at [Reader] with serious eyes. His expression was stoic and gave off an eerie vibe. [Reader] adverted their gaze from his eyes, but what’s done is done. [Reader] was honest with their feelings and though it was awkward, they were sure that with time they could get back to what they had originally.
“Listen Trey, I’m sorry but I also didn’t want you to think differently, okay? I’ll go ahead and leave, feel free to reach out if you want.”
With that, [Reader] made their way to the door to his room. Trey remained silent but slowly moved his body to face [Reader’s]. He reached out and right before [Reader] opened the door, he slammed their head into the door. They were knocked out briefly, turning to look at Trey with fear written on their face.
“Trey. . .w-what are you. .?”
“I’m like an older brother, right? Well then, it’s my job to protect and prepare you for the real world ahead.”
Trey’s hands went to their neck, and they wrapped around tightly. Their back was still against his chest while their hands were trying to pry off his solid grip from their throat.
“T-Trey. . h-hurts-!?”
He led them to the bed, where he threw them without any remorse and immediately crawled above them. Now [Reader] was lying on the bed, his grip returning to their throat with his legs in between theirs. With their legs spread, his hands traveled to their crotch and began to touch, trailing his finger up and down. He leaned into their neck and his lips got closer to their ear.
“Does it feel good? Do you want more? Do you want you ‘big brother’ to make you feel good?”
His tone was condescending and playful, no doubt he took pleasure in causing them fear. [Reader] shook their head at his suggestion, but his hands were already wandering and slipped inside their bottoms. His fingers found themselves inside, touching their sex and rubbing their sensitive bits.
“No? You seem like you want it. . .you seem aroused.”
[Reader] squirmed at the feeling of his hot breath on their ear but also at the feeling of his fingers playing with their sex.
“T-Trey. . .stop! I don’t w-want this. . .”
“Are you sure?”
He let out a light scoff, staring at their struggling form. He continued touching them but also tightened his grip on their neck. [Reader] was desperately flinging their arms around to try to hit him or make him loosen his grip, but to no avail. Trey was relentless.
“Look, can you feel my finger inside you?”
Trey’s finger pumped in and out of their hole, reaching deeper and deeper with each thrust. He struggled to thrust at a consistent speed as their hole clenched around his finger, no doubt trying to stop it from entering.
“You should really try to loosen up, [Reader]. It’ll hurt less, after all, ‘big brother’ doesn’t want to see you in so much pain.”
“T-trey get off me-!”
[Reader] yelled out, their hands slapping his face and arms to get him to release his hold. Trey did not show any remorse or intent on letting go, but he did. He let go of their neck and sex, before grabbing their face and shoving his fingers in their mouth. He made sure to reach the back of their throat to make them gag. After a while, his hand returned to their throat. Trey’s hands went to his own pants, and he undid the buttons and zipper. His hands reached into boxers, pulling out his cock. With the same hand, he gave it a couple pumps and smeared the pre-cum around the tip.
“You should really shut the fuck up, [Reader].”
Both hands returned to their face, thumbs prying their mouth open before he scooted closer to them, sitting on their chest. He made sure his crotch was near their face and his cock close to their mouth.
“I don’t think I have to warn you on what’ll happen if you bite, right?”
He glared down at them before shoving his whole dick inside. His hold on their head never loosened, but rather got tighter which was also helping with prying their mouth open. Trey didn’t have to worry about [Reader] biting, his grip had made it impossible for them to even attempt to close their mouth.
“A-ah. . .f-fuck! Your mouth feels so g-good. . .God, imagine how your insides would feel.”
Trey held no remorse; he thrusted inside their mouth at a brutal fast paced and hitting the back of their throat. Their tongue was unintentionally licking the vein running down the side of his dick and their throat was watering up, lubricating it as well. Drool ran down the sides of their mouth and their hands at this pelvis area trying to push him out of their mouth, but how could they when his whole-body weight was on them.
“I’m fucking close, gonna cum in your mouth. Don’t you want big brother’s milk inside of your mouth, huh [Reader]?”
Grunts and soft light moans left his mouth as he continued to thrust. Tears welled in [Reader]’s eyes and their hands bawled into fists, hitting his pelvic area.
“F-fuck c-coming-!”
Trey hit the back of their throat, spilling his cum inside. He pulled out to see the line of drool connecting their mouth and his dick, but also the cum that was spilling from the sides of their mouth. The sides of their mouth and cheeks were turning red, no doubt bruising from how hard he was gripping.
“God, just look at how hot you look. Cater doesn’t deserve to see this. . .only I get to see you like this.”
There was a flash that awoke [Reader] from their state of shock. Turning to see Trey grinning while holding their phone.
“Say cheese~”
He tossed his phone to the side and his hand went to their face, gripping their cheeks together and puckering their lips out. He gave their lips a kiss, even as far as opening their mouth and sticking his tongue inside. His tongue went over their tongue, licking up his own cum and their saliva. While he was making out with them, his free hand went back to their bottoms and tired prying them off. Removing their bottoms and undergarments, revealing only their naked bottom half and exposed sex.
Releasing them from the kiss,
“I would love to see your face as I fuck you, but I think for today, I’m fine without seeing it. Besides, your big brother has plenty of time to see your fucked out face. Now, let’s get you on all fours, [Reader].”
His tone was that of the Trey everyone knows, kind and gentle, but his words were laced with venom and ill intention.
“W-what n-no, let me go Trey!”
[Reader] scrambled to find an opening, anything to get them out of his grip. They began to crawl towards the edge of the bed, but Trey was quick to grab their torso and drag them back to the center. His hands went underneath and propped them up, head down ass up. His hands were digging into their hips, and he leaned to give their back small light kisses.
“Can’t you see how good ‘big brother’ has treated you all this time? How nice he’s been?”
“Trey! S-Stop this, w-why are you acting like this! Fuck, I just d-don’t like you like that-ha!”
‘SMACK’
Trey had smacked their ass cheek and visible irritation was starting to form.
“Don’t make me gag you, I want to hear you after all.”
Another smack was heard. Trey alternated sides, but still smacked their ass. A light sob could be heard from [Reader] with light moans and groans from the pain slipped out. Trey stopped for a moment, [Reader] momentarily thought he may have been done before feeling a painful stretch.
“Fuck. . .you’re fucking tight.”
“F-fuck!?”
[Reader] let out a pained curse and tried to regain their breath. Trey started off with a light thrust before increasing his speed. He was stretching their hole and fucking them at a brutal pace with no regard for their feelings. [Reader] had yet to adjust to his length and was clutching the sheets in his bed for some sort of distraction and relief. As he was thrusting into them, he was also spanking them as well, causing twice the pain.
“Ha, you think I like being the nice guy, huh [Reader]?”
They leaned their head towards the pillows on the bed to try to get relief, focusing on his words instead of his actions.
“F-fuck, h-ha. . .think I like being the one everyone looks up to? They’re so annoying, always fucking complaining about every little fucking thing. Cater, don’t get me started on him!”
‘SMACK’
“How did he ever get your fucking love? He’s always lying and adapting to everyone because he doesn’t even know who he is. He’s so fucking two faced, but what have I done? I’ve taken care of you and looked after you. When you had a problem who solved it? Huh, [Reader]!?”
‘SMACK’
When Trey did not hear a response, he spanked [Reader] harder and inched his hand closer to their neck, adding light pressure as a warning.
“I fucking said, who solved it!?”
“Y-you, Trey. . .”
“Yeah? Me? Just Trey? Ha. . .or was it your ‘big brother Trey’? Say it, bitch.”
“Y-you, ngh-! I-it was you, b-big brother Trey-ha fuck!”
‘SMACK’
“That’s right, it was me. . .’big brother Trey’. Want ‘big brother Trey’ to make you feel better, [Reader]? I’m only using you as my toy, my cumslut but I know you want to feel good too huh. . ?”
Whines and soft moans left [Reader’s] mouth as they adjusted to his length. His pace had slowed down a bit but was constant, hitting all the right places and angles.
“Y-yes. . .”
“Yes, what?”
They felt so disgusting and dirty having to say what he wanted them to say, but if they complied with him would he let them go?
“Y-yes, ‘big brother Trey’ m-make me f-feel g-good. . .”
Trey scoffed at them and let out a laugh,
“Did I break you already? No matter, sure, “big brother Trey” will make you feel so good [Reader]. . .”
Trey began to thrust deeper and harder into them, he had arranged the position of his hands for one to hold their neck in place and the other free hand wandering to their genitilia. Trey began to rub slowly; unlike the first time he touched them. Stroking and rubbing slowly, creating a slow pace but one that pleasure their most sensitive points the best. After the pain subsided, [Reader] began to feel pleasure, which did not go unnoticed by Trey. He quickens the pace in with his fingers, rubbing, stroking, and pinching their sex.
“You’re twitching. . .are you going to come, [Reader]?”
His tone was still condescending and filled with fake worry.
[Reader] nodded but whimpered when his grip tightened on their neck.
“Y-yes “b-big brother T-Trey’, c-coming!”
As they said that, they came, but Trey did not come.
“G-good, did that feel good? See how good ‘big brother Trey’ can make you feel?”
[Reader] nodded, they thought this was the end until Trey continued to thrust inside them still.
“W-wait-”
“I didn’t come yet, [Reader]. Don’t you want ‘big brother Trey to come inside you? To fill your insides up?”
Seeing as they already came, Trey removed his hand from their sex but neck, but positioned his hand back at their hip, with his free hand holding his phone and recording.
“Come on, say it, say you want ‘big brother Trey’ to fill your insides~”
Trey’s phone was pointed at [Reader’s] back, but also managed to get his cock mercilessly pounding into [Reader]. Their moans filled the room as well as the sound of flesh hitting each other. Overstimulated from their first release,
“W-want ‘b-big brother Trey t-to fill my insides, to c-come inside f-fuck! Ha! F-feel s-so good. . .”
With that, Trey gave one last final thrust before coming inside them. His cum filling them up and leaking from their plugged hole. He pulled out and angled his phone’s camera to their lower half, taping their exposed body and their cum filled hole. He stopped filming and leaned over their shoulder,
“Do you still consider me like your big brother, eh [Reader]?”
~~
Cater was scrolling through Magicam tirelessly but then he got a message from Trey.
Trey: Hey Cater, are you hungry? Looks like I have some leftovers you can have.
Cater pondered for a bit, what could Trey possibly have made or ordered, but he stopped when he saw a video attached to another message.
“A video. . ?’
Cater clicked on it, curious at what the video was about since the surrounding background was dark in the video.
“Come on, say it, say you want ‘big brother Trey’ to fill your insides~”

Hi! I was wondering if I could request a miles 42 x reader where’s she has really bad eyesight and she misplaced her glasses after staying over at his place so she bumps absolutely every surface in the house so he’s just dying laughing and then helps her up and hands her the glasses, which were always in his possession.
Muy agradecida y gracias 💝
title: so not cool dude
character: earth 42 miles morales
type: pure fluff
request or not: request
status: unedited
a/n: I really hope you don’t mind that these aren’t in my usual writing form. If you do let me know so I can condense it down to that. Hope you enjoy!
“Wake up, mami” Miles kissed your cheek as you were released from your slumber. You smiled at him and he grabbed your face to guide you to his lips before you reach over him to the bed side table. Your smiled dropped as you felt around the general vicinity of where your glasses were meant to be. They were gone.
“Miles, I lost my glasses.” You told your boyfriend and looked at him seriously. Miles knew about your eyesight, of course he did he’s your boyfriend, but he didn’t always take it as serious as you did. “We’ll find ‘em in the minute, ight mami” Miles brushed off your concern and continued to attack your neck with kisses.
“This is serious. I legit can’t see without them.” You explained to Miles before pinching his sides with your nails to get him off of you. Miles sucked in his breath quickly and grabbed your hand. “Ow! Didn’t think you were into all that, mami, but I’m into whatever.” Miles stuck your hand in his mouth and bit your finger.
“Shut the fuck up and find my glasses!” You pushed Miles out of the bed and then shooed him off as a sign to hurry. “Uh-uh, mami. You want me to find your glasses alone?” Miles gave you a questioning look before getting down on his knees to search under the bed.
“Well, that’s not gonna cut it!” What you could make out of Miles grin is contagious but your smile quickly dropped when you felt Miles pull you out of the bed. “How am I gonna find my glasses and I can’t see? Please, baby just find them for me.” You were glad Miles started it off and held your hand so you could run your hands up his arm to eventually grab his face and place a kiss of his lips.
Once the kiss was done Miles pressed his forehead against yours and whispered to you “how ‘bout you help your sweet, caring and handsome boyfriend and stop being so dramatic.” Miles laugh boomed as you pushed him away and told him “I fucking hate you!”
Miles put his hand over his heart a pouted. “You wound me, hot stuff.” Miles abruptly sat on the floor which pulled you down with him. “Help me look under the bed, mami.” Miles’s entire body was practically under the bed, and to be honest, it was a funny sight from what you could make out of your blurred vision.
Your poorly stifled laughs is what caused him to pull his body out and ask “You laughing at me?” Miles narrowed his eyes at you but you could tell his tone was playful. A full smile broke out on your face before Miles stood up and looked down at you while you were still on the ground.
“I guess you can see pretty well then, huh?” Miles dramatically stomped over you and left the room. You tried your best to follow him out but the door frame got in your way. The minute Miles heard your head hit the wall he was back on the ground with you, not because he was trying to help you back up but because he was laughing at you.
Miles had his right arm holding his stomach and his left arm trying it’s best to make it’s way to your shoulder. Everything happened so fast Miles was absolutely wheezing claiming that he “gots to see you do that dumb shit again”
Miles quickly ran out the room into the living area with you trying your best to follow after him where it was evident that his mom made breakfast for you both before she left for work by the smell. Miles made his way to the kitchen where he jumped over some water his mother must have unknowingly wasted. He had seen the water but you hadn’t. As expected you were swiftly taken to ground by the water and Miles watched you go down.
“You okay, mami?” Miles tone was clearly genuine but his laughter made you second guess. You missed his hand when he reached it out to you which made him laugh more. “Shut up.” Miles quickly shut up and helped you off the floor. “Yes, ma’am” You decided to hold on to Miles extra tight so he couldn’t run away again. (which he wasn’t exactly complaining about)
Your faces were close and your tone was soft “Can you help me find my glasses, Miles? pretty please.” Miles placed a kiss on your lips once you finished. “Yeah” You were so focused on his eyes that you failed to notice him reaching in the back pocket of his shorts and pulling out your glasses. You let out a soft gasp when he waved them in front of your face.
Miles put them on for you and leaned in for another kiss. “No. You don’t deserve it.” You pushed Miles off of you before running back to his room and closing the door behind you. Miles rattled his door handle and spoke “C’mon you gotta admit it was funny.”
“These are way to expensive for you to be playing around like that.” Though he couldn’t see you he could practically feel you rolling your eyes at him. “I didn’t realize I was dating Velma, okay.” You heard Miles laugh from before the door.
“You are so not helping your case!”

Open When You Feel Alone <3
Dear Elizabeth,
Hey Sweetheart, it’s Mama.
I would like to start this letter off by asking how you are, but if you're reading this, then sadly I already know the answer.
My poor sweet girl, I am so sorry that you are feeling this way. It pains me to even think of you feeling so alone.
Before I get into this, before I go any further I need you to know something, I just need to say it, need you to hear it. I love you so, so very much.
Now, don’t be mad. I know when I asked if you’d like me to write you these letters for when you went off to college, you’d said not to. You told me that you would be okay, that you are a grown up now, that you are strong and independent and can take care of yourself.
I still remember the exact look on your face while you said those words. The pride and confidence behind them really shone through your eyes. I knew then that you were ready to leave home, I could see it in you. You were ready to take that leap and go out into the world, ready to find your place in it.
I know you, sweet girl, I’ve watched you grow up, from the sweetest baby into the most wonderful grown woman you are. I know how capable you are. You’ve worked so hard to get to where you are now and I am so so proud of you, everyday in fact.
That being said, I am still your mother and you will always be my baby. So I hid this letter, along with a few others, in your suitcase before you left.
Which, might I add, was no easy task. The first time I tried to get a few of these letters safely in your suitcase I attempted to pull off an Avengers level stealth mission to try and sneak them in there while you weren’t at home.
I knew what I was doing, suggesting that you take Billy and Tommy out for ice cream. I knew it would give me the time I needed, not only to clean up after your two little brothers but also to get this where I knew it needed to be. What I did not, however, anticipate at all was you coming back so early.
Basically, to make a very long and embarrassing story short, when I heard the front door open and shut, I panicked for absolutely no reason. It was a level ten, metaphorical sirens blaring, palms sweating, hands shaking, type of panic.
Then I heard all three of you coming up the stairs and my cognitive thinking just seemed to evaporate…so I launched myself, head first, out your bedroom window.
Don’t worry, I did catch myself before I hit the floor on that two story drop, in fact I seemed to make it out of the ordeal with little more than a bruised ego. Although, I’m not quite sure if I’ll ever recover from having to explain to your aunt Agatha why I had to make that jump. She laughed so loud all the birds from the trees in the garden all flew away in a hurry. She just couldn’t understand why I panicked so much, honestly neither could I.
But if this helps at all, if I’m right and you find my ridiculous behaviour as funny as I do, in any way, then the almost broken leg and what I’m sure will be years of listening to Agatha tease me is well worth it. Plus, I just wanted you to have this in case you need it, in case you need me.
It was my hope for you, when you were born, that you would always feel how much I love you, no matter how far we are from one another or for how long. Even if we ever had an argument of some sort, you must know I would still love you.
If you're reading this right now then that means I was right to hide this for you, but don’t let that deter you from reading the rest of this letter, mothers (at least when it comes to me and your grandmother) are usually right.
I suppose it’s just this sense that we have, or maybe a hope, that our children will always need us in some way or another and that we will always be there for them.
I’m still here for you Ellie, no matter how far we are from one another, no matter how long we’ve been apart. It doesn’t matter to me what you need me for, something big or small, I don’t care what time it is, if you need me I’ll be there.
I know that if you're reading this, you probably don’t feel like you can pick up the phone and call me to talk about whatever it is that’s bothering you and that's okay.
I wish I could reach out right now and take you into my arms. To hold you, close to my heart, to keep you safe and warm. I wish I could assure you that you are not alone, sweetheart. I will always be with you, as you are with me.
But you deserve to have some time to think things over in your own way, by yourself and then you can come to me when you are ready. But please do come to me Elizabeth. I absolutely hate the thought of you feeling alone, or worse, as if you can’t reach out to me.
I know that you will want to try to figure this out on your own first and that’s okay. Maybe you will, I have every faith in you. Even so, you can still talk to me about it, even when, whatever this is, is all over. I still want to know how you are doing, what’s going on in my child’s lift, the good and bad.
I know it is hard to be away from home, I remember vividly how it felt when I had to leave your grandparents and uncle behind to go away for college.
I know how hard it is to be in a new place, with new people, learning new things. It’s scary and it can be a little overwhelming. It can also feel a little isolating, even when you're surrounded by people. Even when the people you are surrounded by are meant to be your friends…
Before you left we had a conversation about your friends, do you remember that?
I remember how upset you were, how alone you felt from the way they were treating you.
Do you remember what I did when you came to me crying because of it?
I took you into my arms, the way I always do when you're upset, and I held you. You wrapped your arms around me so tightly and cried for what felt like hours.
It’s never easy for a mother to see their child so upset, but I was so relieved that you felt safe enough with me to let yourself feel that way, to just let it all out and know that I had you.
After you were done crying, you explained to me what was going on, you yelled a lot and cried some more. You were so angry and so, so tired, I could see it in your eyes Ellie. I could feel the hurt and loneliness pouring off of you in constant motion. I could see it.
I remember you pacing and pleading with no one and nothing in particular to understand why anyone would treat another person that way, least of all why your friends would do so to you.
I remember watching you go through all of that, I remember how you got more and more worked up, until, eventually, you stopped. Everything in the room stopped, it was as if something in your brain had clicked into place and suddenly, everything you were talking about didn’t seem so big anymore.
You just took one big deep breath in and when you let it go I could see in your eyes that you felt more at peace. The loneliness, frustration and fear for how long those feelings would last, they were all still there, weighing on your mind. All of it. But it wasn’t as heavy because you had shared it with me.
I remember how proud of you I was, because you needed something, you needed me to be there to listen and to make sure you could break down safely. You knew you needed help and you came to me. I was and still am so proud of you for that.
I just wanted to remind you of that, not to upset you further, but to remind you of how important it is to let someone in. To allow someone to help. Even if it means I just sit on the phone and listen to you talk or cry or scream. I can do that. I can be there for you in whatever way you need because I’m your mother and that’s my job.
Even if what you need is for me to get into the car and drive to you, I can do it. You need me to bring your childhood bear with me, just for that bit of extra comfort? I have it ready to go, just in case. You want some of your comfort food, mama cuddles and a movie? Make room for me Ellie because I am on the way.
There isn’t a single thing I wouldn’t do for you sweetheart. I hope you know that. I need you to know that.
Right about now you're probably reading this thinking ‘oh wow moms so extra’ or ‘so cringe.’ ( At least that’s what the twins have been saying about me lately.) But what I’m saying is true, Ellie.
I know you well enough to know that, at this point, you are probably on the verge of tears but won’t let yourself cry.
You can cry if you need to, honey. It’s okay to let it out. I know you think you can’t because other people have gone through worse things, survived worse things and so you shouldn’t cry over something you deem as “small.” But there is no measure of pain. If you are upset, or tired, or overwhelmed, or if you simply just feel the need to cry. Let it out. It’s okay to cry.
It doesn’t make you any less capable. It doesn’t mean you are weak. It doesn’t mean you are looking for attention. It doesn’t undo any of the progress you’ve made. It doesn’t mean a single thing, it doesn’t have to.
Plus, it might make you feel better.
Honestly, Ellie I could go on forever and ever about how proud I am of you and how all I want in this world is for you to know how loved you are. How important and special you are. But I know that you don’t have all the time in the world to read as much as I could write about all of that.
So I just want to ask you to do something for me, just to put your mama’s mind at ease.
Please take care of yourself sweetheart. Drink some water. Get yourself something to eat, even if it’s just something small. If you're feeling up to it, go for a shower, I know you hate all the effort and time that goes into it but I also know that you always end up feeling just a little better after words. Put on some comfortable clothes. Try to get some sleep. Do whatever it is you need to do just to get yourself that little bit of comfort you need to make yourself feel better.
I trust you. I know you can handle this. I know you are so fully capable of taking care of yourself. Take things one step at a time, one breath at a time. You’ve got this Ellie.
I love you. Remember that always.
- Mama.

This lewk but silverfox
The next day, you awake, feeling less foggy but no less tired. Your mother is still in her recliner as you emerge. You put on the coffee as you always do and sit at the table, holding your head as you wait for the grind to finish.
You pour two mugs and go to the living room. You put one down next to your mom and gently nudge her shoulder. Her eyes snap open and her head wobbles before she can lift it. Her hand is trembling as she wipes her eyes and the recliner snaps upright with her movement. She doesn’t say a word as she grabs the cup and drinks.
You both drink in silence, as if you’re both just as confused by the previous day’s passing. The remnants of the heavy slip have you yawning over the brim and eager to brew a second pot. As you refill the filter, the doorbell rings. You mom grumbles noisily.
You hit the start button on the machine and hurry down the hall. As you open the door to Steve, a flash of yesterday washes over you. The memory of him in your room, looking at your sketchbook, intruding...
You shake off the chagrin and clear your sandy throat.
“Morning,” he checks his watch, “not to rush you or anything but just checking in. Seeing when you were planning to pop over.”
You blink. What does he mean? It takes you a moment to remember. Oh, you remember you agreed to help him with the pool. Well, your mother told him you would.
“Is that Steve?” Your mom calls as the recliner creaks. You step aside as she approaches, “ah, hello. Just can’t get enough, huh?”
“Mm, yeah, Holly, remember, we talked about this. The pool?” He smiles and tucks his hands in his pockets.
“Oh yeah, I remember,” she chuckles as she glances over at you, “she needs something to keep her busy. How about I come over, keep an eye on her for you.”
“Well, you don’t have to,” Steve says, “you look tired and you’ve been doing so much these last few days. I wouldn’t want to make anything worse.”
“Oh, this,” she holds up her shaky hand, “all good, honey. Really. I can handle it. Just a part of life. Besides, I need to get some sun, eh?”
“Sure,” Steve agrees as his cheeks tighten, “that’s fine. Well, whenever you’re ready. I’m just getting started now.”
“We’ll be over shortly,” your mother affirms and pets her neck.
Steve nods and turns, striding away without another word. You look at your mom. You really don’t want to go. Still, you can’t say no. She’d never let you live it down. You need the money.
“I’m going to get changed,” you mutter. “Do you want some toast before we go over?”
“I can take care of myself,” she snips and swings the door shut. “I want you on your best behaviour, got it? You’re not going to ruin this for me. Whatever he tells you to do, do it. No faces, just listen.”
“Yes, mom.”
“And...” she leans in your door as you open your dresser, “if me and him happen to wander off, don’t come looking.”
You nod. She huffs and her footsteps carry on into the kitchen. You cross the room and close the door. You turn and peel off your tee shirt. You freeze as you notice the open curtains. You squint as you see a shadow in the window across from yours.
You hold the tee shirt to your chest and rush forward. Nothing. Just the window. You close yours and back up. You’ll wear some leggings you can get dirty and the Gap shirt with the hole near the hem. You’ll just be scrubbing algae or whatever.
🏠
You follow your mom up to Steve’s front door. She knocks and waits, hemming and hawing as she checks her watch. You twiddle your fingers, longing for any excuse to go home.
“Hey,” Steve appears around the side of the house, “just around through the gate.”
“Oh, silly me,” your mother as good as elbows past you as she redirects course.
You trail after her as Steve holds open the gate door, standing just inside it. You brush against him as you enter, unable to avoid it. He shuts it so the clasp clicks and you feel him behind you.
“Figure we’ll start by just sweeping up and getting everything away from the pool,” he explains, then we might have to get down and dirty.” He chuckles and you glance over your shoulder at him. He points to the in-ground pools, “gotta clean inside.”
“Oh, sure.”
“Sounds like a lot of work,” your mom remarks, “mmph, I’m just gonna sit.” She grips her hip as she clings to the railing and climbs up onto the deck. She sits at the patio table, under the broad umbrella.
“Right,” Steve claps his hands, “I’ll get you a broom. You start over there, I’ll take the other side and we’ll meet in the middle. How about that?”
“Okay,” you shrug.
He smiles and turns, striding over to the shed and dipping inside. He’s almost too tall for the small doorway. Your mother clears her throat and you look at her, a sharp expression tensing her features. She doesn’t need to speak her thoughts; it’s a warning.
Steve hands you a broom and a pan. You take it and go to the opposite end of the pool. You keep your head down as you start sweeping, gathering the debris into a single pile. You can hear Steve’s bristles scraping closer and closer as you make your way around the perimeter.
“Oh, Steve, honey,” your mom calls out, “could I trouble you for something to drink?”
He stops, only a few feet from you. Sweat dampens the collar of his tee and across his chest. Your own shirt is clinging to your skin as the sun beat down.
“Heh, yeah, it’s pretty hot. How about some lemonade?” He suggests, “hey, sweetie, you want a glass?”
“Um, okay, thanks,” you answer as you put your focus back to the work at hand.
He carries his broom with him and sets it against the railing of the steps. He climbs them and goes through the sliding glass doors. You continue around, adding your dirt pile to his. Your mom wipes her brow as she basks in the shade, fanning herself dramatically.
Steve comes back out with a tray. A pitcher and three glasses sit on it. He pours each as you stand by the debris.
“Come on, have some, should cool off a bit, stay hydrated,” he waves you over.
“Uh,” you look down at the pile.
“I’ll take care of that, you take a break.”
You circle the pool and climb up the steps. You mother struggles to steady her glass as you take your own. As you sip, Steve heads back down and gathers up the debris into a compost bag. He sets that aside and dusts his hands off.
“When you’re ready, I’ll help you down,” he offers as he lowers himself down the ladder.
You nod and gulp down half the glass, setting it down heavily. You mother squints at you, “don’t be lazy.”
You turn away without retort. All you’ve done is what Steve asked.
You go to the ladder and look down into the empty pool. You turn and grab the sides of the ladder, taking it step by step. The clearance is a bit too high for you. Steve approaches you as you hover above the drop.
“Here,” he grabs your hips, “I got you.”
You squeak as he squeezes and you cling to the ladder until you have to let go. He lifts you easily and sets you down, his hands brushing up your sides as he releases you. You quickly part from him, feeling the warmth of his body clouding around you.
“Right, so we just need to scours the sides a bit,” he bends and grabs the end of the hose dangling over the edge. “Got it on the highest setting so if you just want to go around and get the walls. I’m gonna work at scraping off the gross stuff.”
“Kay,” you take the hose from him.
“No cheap shots, okay,” he grins, “well, I don’t think I’d complain for a bit of water.”
You frown at him, not sure what he means. He looks pointed at the hose as you point the nozzle right at him. You drop it and apologise.
“Not worries. Just pull the lever,” he instructs. “And let me know if you need anything. It’s a good day for heat stroke.”
You turn and aim the hose. You spray the wall and much of the grime washes away easily. You get closer, a bit of splash back speckling your arms. You focus on getting every inch, moving diligently along the tile. It’s a big pool. He’ll have a great summer once it’s full.
You feel a grimness in your chest. It feels like all the nice things are meant for everyone else. You shrug it away and keep at it. At least, you’ll get a couple of bucks out of doing the grunt work. It’s no summertime oasis, but it’s better than nothing.
