The evil demon in my head says I’m a terrible horrible no good very bad writer and I MUST NOT let it win. Even if this wip is not knocking anybody’s socks off right now I have to trust it will become good eventually!!! Just keep swimming!! Just keep swimming!!

#writing feels like mud wrestling a crocodile sometimes #chapter 6 is simply not horrifying enough and megumi is too passive UGH #I don’t think it’s a bad chapter per se but it bores me 💀 and it feels aimless #is it only boring bc I’ve read it a million times or would a reader also be bored?#I’m trying to just let it be bad so that I can go back and fix it in the next draft but it’s soooo hard to not be a perfectionist #I know it will come together eventually #nine times out of ten that’s what happens #I just wish knowing what the next right thing is could be a quicker and easier process #anyway. boo hoo I’m an inefficient writer break out the tiny violins #I’ll wake up tomorrow and write some more before we go out for Mother’s Day morning tea #maybe then I will have a breakthrough #or maybe I will keep slowly plodding on day after day bit by bit until I’m close to satisfied #happy Australian Mother’s Day to all your mums btw!#lyrebirds speaks

In case you’re having a rough Thanksgiving here’s a really shitty drawing I made on some random art program I found on Safari. I haven’t drawn mlp fanart since I was like 5 so I’m still trying to figure it out 💀

The one and only King Thorax of the Changelings! You have no idea how hard the obsession with him went when I was a kid… The Times they are a Changeling was my all-time favorite episode so I literally sketched out of the scenes in my notebook with little squiggly lines instead of dialogue (a few photos from said notebook under cut in case you don’t believe me)

Even as a kid I would always draw Thorax with heart-shaped glimmers in his eyes. I don’t really know why. For some reason it changed from blue pen to pencil after Thorax revealed he was a Changeling and ran away 🤔

I also sucked at art back then if you couldn’t tell. Sometimes I look at my old stuff and feel so proud of how far I’ve come. These drawings are from over a decade ago but even the difference between my art today and my art a year ago is crazy. Never give up because improvement will always catch up to you 🫶

Depression is all fun and games until your skipping school even though you’re weeks behind because you quite literally can’t get out of bed

#god I hate it here #not to mention you mother and father #SEEING this #simply decides to ignore you like your Alr dead #like damn okay 💀💀 fuck you too ig 💀💀#I don’t know how to fix this #I’m literally gonna be held back or taken to court bc I’ve missed so many days #but oh well the sillies r keeping me alive #Also I told myself I wouldn’t vent online anymore but I honestly don’t care anymore 😭#it’s so bad though #I tried to do some of my homework last night and ended up throwing up from the stress #and it’s not like my friends just forgot about me they are GOOD friends I’ve just been pushing them away; telling them I’m just sick etc.#it’s my fault so I’m not mad at them for not knowing what to do. The closest ones try to call me #sometimes I answer and we talk. sometimes I don’t and they leave me a message abt how their a good listener and they KNOW something’s wrong.#Truly I love my friends but at this point I just need to be medicated or in a mental institution ong #but again; it’s not like my parents actually care. they canceled my therapy that was court appointed to me #My support system otherwise is gone; my older siblings have moved out and I’m supposed to protect my younger ones from my parents #but deadass my entire family is well aware that I’m useless in that department #I shake scream and sob everytime my parents yell at us so I’m no help; really #I mean recently I’ve been able to keep my emotions under control but the only reason why is because I’m dead inside 💪#As I’m typing this out I’m realizing that I should be telling the world this especially not in my mental state but like.
