hi anon!! thank you SO much, i'm so glad you like it and thank you especially for asking this excellent question!!

so immediately after the scene (where we leave them in the fic) they both napped for a little while because a scene like that gives you a fucking adrenaline crash like nothing else, so they dozed for half an hour, then oscar went and fetched them water and snacks and they sat in bed and ate their chocolate-covered almonds or rice crackers or whatever miserable healthy snack lando keeps in the house and had a bit more of a chat about the scene. similar to how they talked about it at the end of the fic, just bringing up individual elements fairly casually and discussing them (lando wanting to know more about how far in advance oscar had been preparing, oscar asking how the tape/pillowcase combo felt etc). i don't think they'd actually conceive of this as aftercare (or rather, oscar has secretly read lots of websites about good kink practice but he knows lando will glaze over the minute oscar tries to introduce it as a concept so he just sort of does it and lando goes along happily because there's chocolate and blankets and nice little chats involved.)

i think it would take lando a little while to realise that actually, this might have been quite an intense experience for oscar too. before they shower, oscar would check lando for injuries and maybe make some little comment about feeling bad about hurting him, and it would kind of hit lando then. i don't think either of them are great about having deep sincere conversations about their feelings so he'd probably just be very affectionate and a bit clingy to try to get it across that way.

what lando IS good at though is sending seventeen texts in a row three days after the fact, entirely out of the blue and probably at the worst possible time e.g. when oscar is in an important meeting with management. he'd send oscar a load of rambly texts about how he can't stop thinking about it, lots of questions for oscar about what his favourite bits were and whether he enjoyed it more than he thought he would and what, exactly, made him decide to cover lando's face, his thoughts for what they could do next time to make it even more extreme.
