"What's this?" You ask Sydney, looking at the new box being unloaded from the truck- big and bulky in a crate, far too large to be a produce shipment.

"Uh, I think it's the new glassware for the bar." Sydney looked at her clipboard, back at you carefully.

"Glassware? What new glassware. We haven't picked that out yet." You frowned, looking at the crate carefully.

"Oh, well, it was in Carmen's notes for the day, so... I think that's the only shipment we have. Unless the hostess stand came early, which would be amazing, but you-" Sydney stopped her ramblings, seeing your soured expression. "You know what? Never mind, uh, ignore me. I'm just...Carmen's with Sugar and Richie in the back if you want to ask him."

"Thanks, Syd." You muttered, ripping the bell open with a shrill before bounding towards the back. You could hear them before you saw them, a familiar chorus of chatter and rising voices.

"Hey, so what's the delivery out front?" You ask, not bothering to wait for them to acknowledge you. If you did, you'd never talk, they all talked over each other.

"The new glasses for the bars." Sugar turned, smiling softly at you. "How are you doing?"

"Good." You muttered, eyes cutting to Carmen. "We haven't ordered new glasses yet."

"Uh, well, I thought you liked the ones from last week, angel." Carmen's eyes were bulged, clearly flustered.

"I said I liked them for basics, but I needed you to confirm a drink menu." You glared at him, arms crossing over his chest.

"You can't put the drinks in that?" Carmen asked, hand flying out towards the hall.

"Not if you want the specialty, no." You huffed. "Carmen, I told you to wait just a few days and we could get them at the wholesale market. The textured ones for the signature at least."

"Uh-oh," Richie muttered, snickering to Fak.

"Can you not use the glasses I got?" Carmen sighed.

"I can, but did you get enough? And did we decide if the signature is going in a whiskey glass or a cylinder one? Did you order double of those?" You lifted a brow, taking a step towards him. Richie and Nat watched, heads turning from you and Carmen like a tennis match.

Carmen paused, running a hand down his face. "N-No, but-"

"-So what are you going to do when we open and you run out of drinks, huh? When everyone orders the signature and it comes in different glasses? You think those travel groupie influencers won't notice? Won't post about it and make it a big fucking deal?" You countered.

"Then we'll figure it out!" Carmen huffed. "Look I gave the order to Richie, and-"

"-Hey, no fuckin' way cousin. You gave me your order." Richie held his hand up. "Sweetheart, Carmy said it was good so I just placed the order."

"Well, if Carmen said it was good, then it must be, right? He's the fucking boss." You snarl, glaring at Carmen furiously. "Seems like you've got it under control, Carm, so I'll leave it to you." You turn on your heel, furiously stomping away.

Richie and Fak wait until they hear the slam of the office door, to release their cackles. "Oooh! Cousin, you are in the fuckin' dog house now." Richie laughed, Fak's chorus of barks emphasizing his statement.

"Shut up, ok? Just shut the fuck up." Carmen growled, running a hand through his hair.

"Carmy, why wouldn't you ask her before you ordered? She's your mixologist." Nat sighed, shoulders heavy with disappointment.

"Also your girlfriend." Sydney added, poking her head in. "I told you to wait. Just saying."

"Thank you, alright, thank you all for your fuckin' helpful words." Carmen snapped. "Just... Nat, make sure they get all that shit set up right, ok? Make sure the dishwasher fucking works before we're open, please."

The office door was shut, and Carmen hesitated, reaching for the knob anxiously. He wasn't sure if he should knock- I mean, fuck, this is his office but... you were already so mad at him. Knuckles rapping on the door, he didn't wait for the invite in- knowing he'd never get one.

Carmen found you, sniffling in a furious pout in the corner, body angled away from the door. "Baby-" Carmen started with a sigh, shoulders falling gently at your upset state.

"-Don't." You snap, wiping your eyes. "Don't even start with me, Carmen." The way you say his full name sounds so bitter, too formal and full of malice to be from you.

"I-I'm sorry. I thought we agreed on it, and-and Richie was pressuring me and... And you're right. I shouldn't have made that decision without you, and I'm sorry." Carmen said slowly, waiting for your gaze to meet his, angry, wet, waterline.

"Yeah, you shouldn't have." You agreed bitterly, wiping your eyes. "I get this is your restaurant, Carmen, but don't ask for my help if you're just gonna do what you want anyways. That's-That's not nice."

"I know." Carmen nodded slowly, approaching you with the caution he would a wild animal. "I want your help. I do, and-and I like your idea that the house drink goes in the special glass. Makes it stand out."

You lifted your gaze up to his. "Yeah?" You asked, he nodded, sitting next to you. "Did you blow your budget?"

"No," Carmen shook his head, not a total lie. Fak had been able pull some strings with the new stoves, turns out he did have a guy. It left a little over five thousand left over.

"We could go to that place, if you want to. Go look and see if they have the glasses. Get a rough estimate of about how many we'd need." Carmen offered, his hand cupping your thigh gently, thumb rubbing over your leg in soothing circles.

"As long as Sydney or Nat does the numbers and not you." You snorted lightly, rolling your eyes at him.

He laughed, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, I'll get Sugar to run 'em, alright? Then we can go. Call it an early night."

You beamed at the idea, letting him slide in next to you, melting into your side. "That sounds good." You hummed, letting your head fall on his shoulder.

"I-I'm real sorry I didn't as you ." Carmen muttered. "That was shitty."

"Yeah." You sighed in agreement. "I just... I want to be included in things." You asked, looking up at him sweetly. "Not everything, but-but at least the things that apply to my area."

"I know." Carmen nodded, his hand catching your cheek softly. "I'll let you handle it next time, alright? I trust your opinion."

"You don't have to do that-"

"-No, you're right, I don't. But-But I want to." Carmen nodded. "I know you're lookin' out for the best in this place just like I am."

Author's note: Hello! I had promised myself that I wouldn't participate in another fest this year yet here we are! I have a few things I want to mention before the beginning of this fic.

First of all, I want to thank my two beta readers. One of them helped me a lot with SPaG mistakes and the other with getting into the head of a depressed person. This fic wouldn't have been possible with either of them, so I appreciate their help with this project.

Second of all, there is some art in the fic. I haven't tagged it since it isn't art in the way most people think about it in a fic. The 'art' is just the pop-up messages throughout the fic that I didn't know how to programme with html. I had the choice to learn how to draw or learn how to programme, and I chose art XD

Third of all, my interpretation of my prompt is pretty trippy so, as a friendly warning, please don't read this while high :)

Yeah about the lucifer part it kinda of weird not saying i want mc to be solution of everything but still,but I saw someone I don't remember where saying that maybe , the fact the is always the reason will feed his ego(mc telling him during asmo and mamon that he was the solution or something)and will be the reason why he's sin will overtake him,but we'll have to wait and see if this pattern will continue also the lack of romance is making the story feel like mc is just a spectator rather than a character like twisted wonderland mc also who is [redacted] ? Ps sorry for the bad English.

Okay, no but in all seriousness. I get that they're all connected to Lucifer in some way--5 of them literally followed him to war while Satan was literally born out of his wrath. So I get that Lucifer would somehow have to be connected to whatever it is they're going through. I just feel it's especially frustrating this time around, because every single time Satan had some sort of conflict in the og game, it was Lucifer that either resolved it completely, or he was the first step to resolving it. MC literally did not even have to be there and things would have turned out the same

And while I was partially joking about wanting MC be the solution to every single problem these boys have, I do think that having MC be the one resolving the current conflicts would serve the narrative OF THIS DATING SIM better since it would allow us to better connect with the characters. Plus imo it would have more weight if MC's the one helping all of them since they already know the people they'll become and what kind of change they are capable of. ++ I already talked about this once, but Satan and MC are tied together by the circumstances of their existences which would technically allow for an even deeper connection between the two, and it would have been nice to see that come into play somehow..

Ooh, I haven't thought about that! Lucifer usually manages to be in control of things most of the time, including his pride seemingly, at least, but that might just be the catalyst for it all. Though to be fair I don't think the writers will end up giving him an actual reason for his sin taking over either..

And it really does! I'm not saying we need romance 24/7, and I get that with season 1 they might have wanted to go slow with it, since in a way we basically just met the cast (though it's still a little frustrating), but hardly any romance even in season 2? Let alone in the events?? Come on..

Speaking of romance though--THE PHONE CALLS!!! The one thing they got so incredibly right. I'm guessing most people aren't there yet, but the pattern seems to be that around halfway through they become more romantic, and they pulled it off so well (at least for the ones I've already read). I was literally giggling like a little kid experiencing their first crush while reading some of these and one made me cry

Also, [redacted] is the brother that's supposedly going to be next. I didn't write his name because I didn't want people to get spoiled by simply reading my tags

1) "Nobody will like this lackluster 'game'"

*hysterical, borderline-demonic hyena laugh*

But seriously, given the amount of fanart, mods, YouTube videos, and blogs dedicated to this game it seems like the word "nobody" implies whole swaths of people in the definition. *Sparticus voice* I AM NOBODY!

2) "The same man is copy-pasted at least 6 times"

Most people who complain about this haven't done the bare minimum of research to discover that, yes, they are all one man. That is, of course, Paul "Incredible Polo" Malburet, who voiced them all. It's meant to showcase what *just one man* can do with his (aptly named) incredible voice. Love you, Polo❤️

3) "There's really nothing to do but click on the men to produce lackluster sounds"

Say that to his adorable face, I dare you!

Risk being the target of Gallic Rage!

4) "Sure, there are different costumes but they do nothing to enhance the game"

OP must be really fun at Halloween parties /s. Repeat after me: "Costumes enhance *everything*!" Also, now that you've taken a shot at Paul, you can't resist taking a shot at Romain as well, how thoughtful. Love you too, Bily❤️

6) "There are no puzzles [or] prize wheels"

Okay, I'll give them this one. Even though the bonuses are kind of like puzzles, no puzzle just gives you the answer by hovering over the icon. However, I think this is one of the things that makes Incredibox so special: It's not about puzzles. It isn't one of those instant gratification, constant rush of dopamine games(which, imo, are on par with the "brainrot" section of YouTube). Just like writing your own music, you have to stew on it for a while, see what works, and most of all enjoy it! Experimentation can be fun!

7) "There's no way to customize the look-alike men -they're all in boring black and white"

First, see my rebuttal to point #2. Second, this just tells me you didn't play past Little Miss(which is all but confirmed later). LM is only the second version. Each version gets better than the last as the guys hone their craft. Even your oh-so-despised costumes get better! In Jeevan alone you have practically all the colors of the goddamn rainbow! At the end of the day, even though Incredibox is more about the music than anything else, the costumes are a neat bonus that keep things visually interesting. Long story short, if you want customization The Sims is right there.

8) "The game is so boring I quit after 1 minute"

10) "The developer isn't even updating the game anymore...terribly outdated...stuck in 2019"

While I'm pretty sure 1 minute is an exaggeration, this does pretty much confirm OP didn't play past Little Miss. Geez, even a goldfish would know you need to pay attention for more a minute to accurately assess the quality of a game.

9)"It takes about 25 minutes to load the game"

This one's just a flat out lie.

Patience, Grasshopper. The latest bonus for Wekiddy was released only 9-10 months ago. That isn't forever. I'm sure all three guys are working their culs off to get the third one out in a timely manner. Especially Allan, who I haven't mentioned yet. Love you as well, Al❤️

Murder OC Week Day 1- Intro

What is your murder oc's name? Where are they from, how do they kill, and what's their favorite weapon or do they like using their body to kill?

The prompt for this is from @murder-oc-week and is here. The general rules are here! I'm going to try to keep up with it for at least some of my characters each day because well... any excuse to talk about my little guys😈

Just to explain; my OCs are from a project called Human Nature; a murder sim that's still just a concept/used for RP at the moment but as I continue to work on my drawing skills... who knows? It's set in a fictional town in SW Wisconsin but all my characters originate from elsewhere. I have a few other main characters and side characters but I've only included the ones who canonically kill people. Since I haven't drawn all of them yet, I'm going to post my Sim renditions of them(my "murder sims" if you will)! But I do have art of Theo and Hope if anyone wants to click their tags or my art tag 😊

Name: Theodore Kingswell From: Port Perry, Ontario, Canada- moved to US a couple of years ago Method of killing/favourite weapon etc: Theo doesn't have a single favourite weapon, but he's all about killing you with his obsession. If you end up tipping towards him wanting to be you, he will mostly use knives; for example to skin you, cut your throat and steal your identity, making you cannibalise him as he does the same to you. If you end up with the routes where he wants to be with you more, it's more of a mixed bag; he may end up doing things like sewing himself to you, burying you alive with him, or crushing you to death.

Name: Epiphany Quintana From: Poza Rica, Veracruz, Mexico- moved to the US aged 10 Method of killing/favourite weapon etc: Epiphany prefers for others to do the dirty work overall and will manipulate her bodyguards or other staff to kill you wherever possible. Obviously there are routes of this where she is alone with you, and in that case she will most often use broken bottles, or ligature strangulation using equipment that would usually be used for her BDSM play such as whips or ropes.

Name: Rahim Adnan From: Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia- moved to the US aged 18 Method of killing/favourite weapon etc: He often uses his gun if it's a disobedience kill. If it's a torture kill it's more likely to be accidental; blood loss or electrocution. He also enjoys smothering his sexual partners so if he really likes you and you consent there's a chance you'll die by asphyxiation.

Name: Azazel Blake (surname is adopted) From: Heaven- banished to earth around a year before start of story Method of killing/favourite weapon etc: Azazel is a neutral character with angelic powers so his most common method of killing is accidental- beams of holy light that he's not fully in control of. This could happen as collateral if he's attacking someone he's afraid of, or anger if you antagonise him. If he chooses to kill out or mercy or to avoid being sent back to heaven for example- he will hold you gently and painlessly obliterate your brain function.

Name: Hope Chambers From: Cambridge, England, UK- moved to the US around 12, then to Canada for college, then back again. Method of killing/favourite weapon etc: Hope only kills their killers (or yours if they're acting as an ally in-game) so it's going to be spur of the moment and likely to be with the killers' own weapon. But they do have a bit of a thing for blood so they have a preference for knives, razor blades or other sharp objects, and can sometimes get a bit carried away...

Time to clean out my inbox!

Sorry it takes me forever to respond, but if you've sent me an ask recently that hasn't been answered it is more than likely under the cut! ↓

Honestly I don't know that Erwin has one mortal enemy so much as he doesn't trust 90% of people in general! He sees everyone as a threat and assumes the worst about *most* people until they prove otherwise. That's just how he is, unfortunately. :(

But at the start of my story he hates Ted Roswell with a fiery passion and doesn't trust him for shit. I'd argue Ted and the authorities of Strangerville (any military or high-ranking police) are his absolute enemies and he wants to burn their whole world down. In general Erwin hates authority though and always has. He's not fond of Meredith Roswell either, but mostly sees her as harmless and just as in-the-dark about her husband as everyone else is.

Before Strangerville there were many people who bullied or ostracized him, but he wouldn't call them his enemies because he didn't really care what they thought of him then, and certainly doesn't pay them any mind now! He does have a particularly difficult/toxic ex that has a brief cameo in the story though... they're not enemies but damn close lmao!

I love the Hunger Games! I went through a dystopian novel obsession in the mid 2010s that hasn't worn off yet (lol). I'm a bit behind in that I haven't read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes yet, but I'm actively in the tag so I pretty much know the whole plot lol. I'm hoping to receive the book as a Christmas gift this year so I can reread all the books together and be fully involved in the fandom again!!

Also, for the record, I'm Team Peeta! I love him. Katniss and Peeta are *chef's kiss* to me. Additionally, I have limited information on Lucy Gray Baird but I love her too and will protect her from all the female-protag haters and President Snow apologists!! Get behind me, Lucy!

Yes! Erwin has always been really tall! His whole family are giants with his dad being the tallest at 6 feet and nearly 5 inches tall and his older sister Maggie being the shortest at 5 feet 10 inches tall...which is still quite tall in my opinion!

In my story he started "officially" transitioning (doing testosterone therapy, going by a different name, binding, etc.) somewhere around 14 years old. He came out to his sister and then his parents a year prior though (he was around 13) and knew he was trans long before then!

No worries, thanks for asking for clarification! You don't sound stupid. I'll try to explain to the best of my ability, speaking mostly on Wren and Victor's specific situation.

In a lot of cases labels, such as the nonbinary label, primarily serve as a way to transmit information. It tells people "This person does not personally subscribe to the gender binary of male or female." But a nonbinary person can still have a sexual identity like gay or lesbian or they might subscribe to being pan or bisexual. Every couple, every situation, and every person is different. In some cases having a partner who identifies as a certain binary sexuality like gay/lesbian/straight might cause the nonbinary person dysphoria, so the cis-partner might consider this if they begin to date a nonbinary person and ultimately decide they want to identify as pan or bi moving forward! Again, it's ultimately between the people in the couple. Labels are just that: they can be subject to change or stay the same forever... both are okay!

But in the way a cis man dating a trans woman does not negate his ability to personally identify as straight, or a bisexual woman like myself being married to a man does not negate the fact that I'm bisexual, Victor being a cis-man and dating Wren who is nonbinary does not inherently negate his ability to personally identify as gay. At least in Wren's case, it wouldn't bother them to be with a cis-male who would personally identify as gay. In fact, Wren identifies as nonbinary and gay, preferring male-presenting sims. For Wren identifying as nonbinary is more about the freedom of expression and the freedom to exist authentically in whatever way they're feeling, so Wren doesn't feel gender dysphoria if someone associates them with a gender binary, they just don't prefer it that way. That's just Wren's personal experience though; another nonbinary person might feel completely different and that's valid, too! I think there's no singular, easy answer that would cover every situation or every person's personal preference because gender and sexuality are a vast spectrum and they aren't mutually exclusive. The most important thing is that everyone in the relationship is communicating, respecting, and validating each other's identities and boundaries.

The term you might be looking for is Diamoric: Diamoric can be used by nonbinary people as an umbrella term to describe how their own presentation of gender coincides with their sexual preferences, but it can also be used to describe relationships in which one or more of the partners is non-binary, including relationships where one of the members is binary! I haven't personally heard this one used casually though, but just because something isn't popularized or common doesn't mean it isn't a valid and helpful term or identity to know.

That being said, "Queer" is a pretty common umbrella term you'll see used by someone who might want to have a simple, all-in-one indication of their gender and sexuality preferences.

I hope that I was able to effectively explain this, but as always feel free to pop by for clarification if you need it. You can't learn if you don't ask! <3

Imagine Felix falling for a bookworm-MC. However, Felix is being all difficult and in denial and stuff.

"I'm NOT in love with MC!!!"

"Me, in love with MC??? HA!"

"You must have hit your head, you are talking nonsense..."

"Hey look- a bird!!!" *disappears*

MC loves books. Felix loans MC as many of his books as they want to read. But it doesn't stop their desire to have books of their own in Astraea. Their room at the Starsworn's castle (anyone wanna help a girl out and remind me of the name of this place?) is practically empty. But MC has no money... so no they have no way to buy any books.

Afew weeks later, MC ends up winning some sort of bet with Sage, and wins some money from him. They beg Felix to take them to the market.

"Please, Felix! This money is burning a hole in my pocket!"

"MC, your pocket is not on fire."

Felix finally agrees and plans a day at the market so MC can get whatever they want. Anisa and Sage decide to tag along, and the group arrives at the market. It's a beautiful day, and they soon come upon several stalls selling books. Felix takes his eyes off of MC for two seconds to admire a beautiful cover at a nearby stall.

MC is now gone.

Way to go, Felix. You took your eyes off of the bookworm.

After (not frantically) searching for MC for what feels like forever, Felix is beginning to get worried. Anisa assures him that everything is okay and the trio continue to search. Felix can't stop worrying, however, he was broken from his thoughts when he smacked right into a moving stack of books.

Wait, what?"

Oh, it's MC... carrying 20 books.

MC is just happy to have found their friends and begins a ramble about all of the book they've found. They haven't stopped talking about their hoard for several minutes and Felix is wondering how they're still carrying that many books and how aren't their arms falling off yet?

But Felix feels something deep inside of him.

He's watching MC closely, taking in every word they say. They've got a huge smile on their face, they are absolutely beaming. Their eyes are practically twinkling. And if the books weren't so heavy, one would imagine that they'd be jumping up and down, excitedly.

Anisa doesn't miss the way Felix staring at MC. However, Sage is the one to snicker and make a teasing comment.

"Felix, I saw a jeweler around the corner there. You gonna go pick out a ring, or what?"

Felix doesn't even respond to Sage's comment (though for a split second he actually considers the ring) and turns his focus back onto MC, who hasn't even stopped to take a breath. They've now placed their stack of books on the ground next to them and proceed to go through each book and talk about the synopsis and plot line and that's when Felix realizes he's in huge trouble.

And also that he's very much in love with MC.

*heavily inspired by my 5'7 weak, noodle armed self literally carrying a stack of 17 books through the bookstore this weekend because I refused to get a basket. getting a basket means I can carry more books and I was already over budget. yes, my arms still hurt very badly. and yes, it was worth it. 100% believe this kind of behavior would cause Felix to propose to me.

I'm rewatching Encanto, and my favorite song is Waiting On a Miracle. I'm also playing Twisted Wonderland while watching, and I thought of something...

MC/Yuu singing this song to themselves (like Mirabel is doing) after a big, magical ceremony. Seeing all of their friends- even Grim -in their ceremonial robes, casting spells and being praised for their unique magic. MC finally has a breaking point, not understanding *why* they were brought to Twisted Wonderland and Night Raven College, why they don't have magic and their struggle with it.

Okay, I had the DUMBEST dream, but it was also kind of funny. Granted, I don't remember a whole lot of the dream and my dreams get weird, so things may not make sense. I'll try to leave out most of the non-TWST related stuff.

My dream closely followed the plot of the Ghost Bride story, with a few variances such as;

I was in place of the MC (I know because at one point I was referred to as the Ramshackle Prefect and Grim stayed with me). However you could totally read some parts of this and replace "I" with yourself/your OC like a first-person POV if you want to laugh (or cringe)

None of the boys came even close to successfully wooing Eliza... not even MR. FREAKIN' DARCY who appeared to tell Eliza how she bewitched him body and soul 💀

Puffy never showed up and won Eliza's heart (or lack thereof?)

The ceremony had actual guests outside of the ghost court, and a lot of the guests were other students who were there for entertainment

Crowley simply gave up at some point and he and the other faculty members attended the wedding (aka Idia's funeral)

Jamil, Kalim, and Malleus were frozen because they stepped in to try and help- if I recall, they never showed up for Ghost Bride because Jamil couldn't risk Kalim's safety and Malleus couldn't cause a controversy?

I'll begin where the chaos started.

So I (Yuu), Grim, and Ortho were the only ones who hadn't been frozen by Eliza out of the students who were actively trying to help. We were reaching the point of desperation- Grim however made a comment that we reached desperation when we decided to send in ACE. 💀

The three of us were trying to figure out what to do, and Ortho made another threat about simply blowing up the school (damn Ortho, chill) and I said something along the lines of, "calm down kid. I know you're scared to lose your family member but you are being really dramatic right now" And that's when I solved the problem. Like... "kid... family member... THAT'S IT! I know what to do!"

I made Grim and Ortho follow me, and we ran to the Cinema Club's room and got a few things. There was a whole bunch of junk but I remember a ring, a baby blanket and bonnet, and a pillow. I changed out of my uniform into casual clothes and shoved the pillow in my shirt to resemble a pregnant lady... Ortho put on some childish clothes- think propeller hat and a dinosaur shirt. I put on the ring, shoved Grim into the bonnet and swaddled him, and we then rushed back to the "wedding".

We ran right past the ghost guards and anytime they tried to stop us I just yelled "UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY IDIA'S CHILD SUPPORT I SUGGEST YOU GET OUT OF MY WAY" and the ghosts just faded away each time, saying "I'm so sorry ma'am". 💀

We burst through the doors and before anyone had a chance to react I yelled "IDIA HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!"

I was sobbing and had mascara running down my cheeks, so at some point I must've applied a ton of it...

Eliza was not amused... she was very irritated and asked "who are you?!" and yelled that I was interrupting her wedding. I replied "I'm not here for you! I'll deal with you in a moment you homewrecker" and marched closer to Idia with Ortho holding my hand and Grim being cradled in my other arm. I yelled at Idia through my (fake) sobs, "WE HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN A BLESSING ON THE WAY AND A LIFE TOGETHER HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!"

I distinctly remember Ruggie being the one to yell "WHAT THE F***?" at my proclamation

Idia was so freakin' stunned he couldn't form coherent sentences. And when Ortho looked at Eliza and said "why are you taking my daddy away from us" Idia just started bawling.

Eliza gasped and looked between Idia and the three of us, and she said "you have kids?!"

I held up my hand with the ring and said "AND A WIFE."

"B-but he isn't wearing a wedding band!"

"That's because he never wears it! He's ashamed of us."

I don't remember all of the dialog around this part, but I said something about Idia trying to claim that the kids weren't his, before pointing at Ortho and going "YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT THIS CHILD DOESN'T LOOK LIKE HIM. "

Cue Idia mumbling "well *that* thing definitely isn't mine" in reference to Grim, who chose that moment to start WAILING. I gelled back something along the lines of "Deuce and I only had an emotional affair"

To which Deuce choked upon hearing.

Eliza started crying and apologizing to me, stating that she couldn't possibly take love away from someone else. If anyone has ever seen The Corspe Bride, it was very reminiscent of Emily's ending lines.

I replied back with "it isn't your fault... he goes after anything that's willing to give him the time of day. I'd let you have him if he didn't owe me money for the kids, but you don't want to end up with a cheater like I did."

Cater shouted "YOU DESERVE BETTER GIRL!"

I somehow convinced Eliza to leave Night Raven College and she unfroze everyone before doing so. After she and her court left, the room stayed silent for a few minutes because everyone was busy trying to process what the hell just happened. Floyd was the first to break the silence, absolutely dying laughing and trying to congratulate Idia on his marriage and children. Some of the other students were snickering too. Some were just plain in shock.

Idia just kind of crumpled to the floor. I took the pillow out from underneath my shirt and threw it at him, laughing and stating "I'm never doing that ever again, so you need to be careful not to attract anymore ghosts, okay?"

This is only my second attempt at writing an imagine/headcanons.

Also, I can concur with what I see a lot of people complaining about: writing on mobile, sucks.

***Spoilers mainly for Felix's route, just for Rime's part of the post. Small spoilers though, nothing crazy.

Life is great. The LoS has been defeated and Astraea is safe. MC has decided to stay in Astraea to be with their LI of choice and not return to earth. They've officially been in Astraea for over a year. Life is good.

Until MC gets amnesia. Either from an accidental spell or a blow to the head. They've lost all of their memories of Astraea, their adventures, and their loved ones. The last thing they remember is the convention before they were ripped from away from earth, and even then the details are foggy.

Felix is a total wreck. He and MC were practically inseparable. If you saw Felix somewhere, MC was probably just a few feet away, and vice versa. They were never apart, and they liked it that way. So for Felix, to go from always having MC at his side to them being strangers... it was very hard for him.

It was almost like the whole Rime situation again, just in a different manner. It takes a toll on his mental health.

Felix works nonstop, searching for a spell to recover MC's memories, and even begs his father for help. But to no avail, MC's memories are gone. They don't even remember their first time meeting Felix.

Felix soon accepts that his only option is to take care of MC and let their relationship come again naturally. They were rather close, after all. It will happen... it has to.

But Felix cannot silence the nagging thought in the back of his head, his insecurities telling him "it was a miracle that they fell for you the first time..."

Felix doesn't try to force the memories, nor does he let them affect the current dynamic between him and MC. But one day they were in the study, reading together on the couch, and MC drifted off to sleep on Felix's shoulder. It took everything in him not cry, because they used to do that all the time. The faint familiarity of it hurt Felix, because it only reminded him of the memories lost.

Despite the trauma and turmoil Felix had to face regarding MC's amnesiac state, he never gave up on them. Not once. And every tear, every sleepless night, every struggle was worth it when MC shyly took hold of Felix's hand during a walk. In that moment, he knew everything was going to be okay.

Anisa tries to put on a brave face. Of course on the inside she feels like her heart has been torn out. She and MC were about as a close as two people can get, they were friends, and then partners. Now they're strangers- at least, they are to MC.

After being advised to not try and force memories back, Anisa does her best to keep things as casual as possible. But it's so hard for her to not take MC's hand when they're walking through the town. And she catches herself staring off at MC with a lovesick expression more often than she'd care to admit.

Despite the internal struggles, Anisa is probably the one who would handle the situation the best. Don't get me wrong, she struggles immensely, and there are definitely tears. But she keeps a positive attitude, knowing that MC is still the same person that fell in love with her, and she still loves them immensely.

Her mother does her best to help. And by that, I mean she subtly tries to play matchmaker in an attempt to set MC and Anisa up (again). It's quite comedic, MC walking into a definitely not romantic dinner with candles and a violinist and flowers and Anisa standing there like "I didn't do this I swear."

It was hard for Anisa to open up to MC the first time, she's got demons she feels like she needs to hide. But she feels relief when she remembers that MC never judged her before, so they wouldn't judge her now.

It takes time, but they grow to be quite close again. Anisa's patience pays off the day MC turns to her and says, "I think I'm in love with you."

Sage takes it the the worst, no doubt there. He stayed closed off for years, fighting to keep every little skeleton in his closet hidden. Never opening up, never revealing his secrets or speaking of his past. MC fought so hard to gain Sage's trust, to get him to let them in. And all for nothing... they're gone now.

Sage is fully aware it's still the MC he fell for. It's them... but it's also not.

He will never forget the pain he felt when he went to embrace MC that horrid day and they looked at him with a confused expression before asking who he was.

He spent the next few days under the impression this was just a cruel, cruel joke being played on him. After he realized it wasn't a joke, he convinced himself it was a nightmare. A horrible nightmare.

He avoids MC. It hurts far too much. Sage makes an excuse to leave the room every time they come in, and he stays out on missions for longer periods of time.

Tulsa, Anisa, Felix, even Rime all have to keep Sage from drinking himself to death.

Sage comes to his senses one day when MC grabs his wrist to stop him from leaving the room, asking "why do you hate me so much?"

After that, Sage sticks around and basically becomes MC's bodyguard. He doesn't leave their side and becomes very protective over them. He doesn't try and force memories back, but unlike Anisa and Felix he does spend a lot of time telling MC about the time they spent together with him- just leaving out any romantic aspects (and also overhyping himself in the stories).

He finally works up the courage to ask MC out one night. "Like on an actual date?... you, Sage, wanna go out with me???"

My #1 post of 2022

Professor Laveton is basically Akari and Rei's dad. Sorry, I don't make the rules. imagine him being like, "hmm... I wonder where the kids are."

Cue Akari dropping 100ft after diving out of Braviary's basket thing. Cue the Professor screaming. Akari calls Braviary again once she's a few feet away from the ground. Just barely saving herself from, you know, dying. Professor Laventon is white as a ghost and on the verge of a heart attack. He glances over to Akari's Typhlosion, who is standing next to him, and it looks incredibly proud of it's human.

Not giving poor Laventon any time to recover, Rei runs past the camp, and he's getting chased by an Alpha Parasect and a bunch of Paras. His starter pokemon is nowhere to be found, having fled, leaving it's trainer to his fate. Because Parasect and Paras are scary.

Imagine Professor Laventon's horror. Imagine Professor Laventon's face as he cries out "MY BABIES! THEY'RE GONNA DIE!" before passing out.

He has to be carried back to Jubilife City. Cyllene doesn't speak to him for a week. But she does however, ground Rei and Akari for two weeks.

i felt like FINALLY doing the map for regal!!!! 😌 @fataleromeo your wish has been granted after months of me promising i'd do it!! if you're interested in some lore and ramblings, they will be under the cut 📓

as you can see, eden is definitely big enough to be a competing empire! BELOW, you will find that eden actually took the top peninsula from volais during the war, which cut them off from that side of the sea... strategic, and also quite ironic because that belonged to eden centuries ago anyway!!

what you may also notice is that the sisters' castle is quite close to eden's capital AND the palace... this has been mentioned in the beginning of the story, where the castle is far too close to the border. GRANTED, one would have to go through the mountain pass to get there, but it's not impossible--especially if an enemy is hellbent on assassinating the Empress :^o and yet, magdalena defies every recommendation to not vacate the castle!

and yes, the entire border of volais and eden consists of mountains!!!! i thought it would be a natural barrier and land divider. war was obviously not easy to accomplish on land.. mostly happened on the seas and, once people DID get into the other empires, close to the border.

as i have mentioned previously, eden has most of the sea access and thus more ports! volais is land locked on 3/4 sides of them now (i obviously didn't show the surrounding kingdoms/empires but they're RIGHT there).

the cloud looking smudge was an idea by my boyfriend as i had originally drew a small island kingdom, but he thought it would be cool to shroud it in mystery! since i haven't mentioned anyone being so close to either empire lol. perhaps it isn't there anymore due to natural disaster and it was smudged off?? 🤔

i based the bottom on the continent from the fan-made sims world map!! where it combines all of the ts4 worlds?? and took some creative liberties with the right side (^: i think it fits my idea of the Regal world well.

this doesn't have to do with the geography but: in the tags of one of my posts, i explained that eden is a more modern society compared to volais, and it shows. their fashion is like comparing the early 1900s to the mid-1800s. and their architecture is similarly contrasted.

i only drew the major rivers or lakes, but i imagine that there's a bountiful amount in both empires. for eden, there is a MASSIVE lake that acts as a popular vacation spot and has a city built on the water. think the ancient aztec floating city, but modern and magical!!!! it's named Lake Peridot after the green stones (see below) that used be to found often in the lake bed, but after so many years of people mining for it, it's rare to find any. volais, on the other hand, boasts in its River of Rubies that runs the length of the empire! it never produces rubies directly, but it is a great source of income for many citizens (including the royals).

Why did you choose your URL?

There's no specific reason, I just thought it was easy to remember as well as a suitable name for my blog.

How long have you been on Tumblr?

Well, I think I've been here for almost 2 weeks. I'm still a newbie and there're a lot of things I've to learn about simblr.

Do you have a queue tag?

I'm not quite sure what that is, so that must mean I don't have it haha. I'm open to some help or suggestions about that ;)

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

I've always been pretty constant with my gameplays and savefiles, but I started feeling that something was missing. I don't have any friends who like the sims so I could never share anything about my progress in the game. That's when I discovered the simblr community and saw such interesting accounts for the very first time. There're so many creative simmers here and I just wanted to befriend them I guess haha. I'm still in the process, but many have been quite nice with me.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

Hehe, Anne is the protagonist of my gameplay so I decided to use her as my icon. I really love the development she has gone through in my gameplay.

Why did you choose your header?

Well, it was suitable for the aesthetic I was looking for :D

What's your post with the most notes?

Mmm, at the moment it's my first conversion attempt. I didn't expect that some of you would like it. That made me happy :)

Anyone remember the asylum challenge for Sims 4?

It's gone (fortunately) out of fashion to use the term "ins*ne" (now it's Erratic), and the idea of breaking out of the asylum as part of the challenge is quite 19th century. "I'm the one sane person here!" smacks of single-hero plotlines, which personally I've had enough of.

HOWEVER, the idea of eight Erratic Boarders in a home Without Enough Beds still compels me, and the game requires sims with the Erratic trait for park sleepers (stereotype but also true that the mentally ill and those with untreated personality disorders often wind up homeless), so I'm including a household in my save file. They live in my not-yet-haunted-because-it's-just-base-game abandoned mansion in Newcrest.

I love this household, not gonna lie. I used the randomizer extensively for skintones, names, favorite colors and traits, and then tried to dress each one appropriately for their attributes. I love how diverse they turned out, and honestly how realistic. I included Blair as a nonbinary AMAB sim. They're perfectly content being who they are, and wear a mix of masc/fem clothing. Ryder is transfemme, and despite how the game tends to frames, when someone transitions their frame actually changes and shrinks, so Ryder has a feminine frame but still uses the toilet standing up, and she can't get pregnant.

(I would much prefer if The Sims had more detailed personality disorders with more nuanced behaviors, but they can't get regular behaviors properly nuanced so idk why I would set my sights that high, lol.)
