As a multi-milestone celebration as well as an event for the official Spade of Storms (Deuce x Allen) day, which is on the 27th of July, I decided to host a TRADE EVENT!!!

Basically, this event is going to be an open art/writing trade that's all about ships (or platonic duos).

The event starts on 7/23 (today) and lasts for rest of July as well as for the entirety of August. For every Allen x Deuce art/writing that I receive during this duration, you get one of your own ship from ANY FANDOM back!

Why am I hosting this?

it's a way to thank everyone for three different follower milestones

a contest/DTIYS/raffle wouldn't promise that everyone gets something back, so I went for a trade event

the event allows me to post more about other canon TWST characters and draw them while not having to neglect Allen x Deuce

I wanna make new mutuals & friends, get to know more ships, and strengthen friendships with mutuals I already have!

Artfight is/was tons of fun, but I only do/did colored sketches there & ships are a tricky subject. Meanwhile, I'll do ANYTHING here!

Basic information:

Make a drawing/writing/comic of Allen x Deuce. (Ideas can be found in this post's pink "starters for my ship" section.)

Post it on your blog, tag me in it, and refer to my event. (While posting is by far preferred — especially for bigger artworks and written stuff — you can also just DM it to me.)

In return, you'll receive a gift of the same type for your own ship from any fandom (OC x canon, canon x canon, OC x OC)! I'll DM you about the ship, so make sure that your DMs are open.

For example: If you submit a sketch, you'll get a sketch back. If you submit a fully shaded drawing, I'II make a fully shaded drawing for you, too. If you add a background, I'll (do my best to) do the same. If you write a drabble... You know the drill!

The portrayal of Allen x Deuce must be shippy/romantic.

Please keep angst at a minimum unless it has a happy ending. Comfort is allowed.

Please DO NOT add your own OC or another canon character to the submission. Including them in the background as a wingman or something is alright, though. Additionally, any kind of romantic implications between Deuce and another character/OC are NOT allowed.

Please no NSFW. Harmless implications and slight spice are okay, but keep in mind that these characters are both minors.

AUs are very much allowed! All the previous rules apply here, too, and I'm willing to give an overview of some AUs via DMs.

Please no genderbending.

Please DO NOT draw Allen or Deuce as a standalone character. This is a SHIP event for a reason.

Please don't change their appearances too much, especially when it comes to the color schemes & body types.

Giving them different outfits — especially event outfits — is absolutely cool (yes, you can draw Allen in a skirt if you wanna), and changing their hairstyles is okay as long as they still look like themselves.

That's okay! In that case, I'll gladly draw/write about two separate characters or a platonic duo for you.

Can I do multiple submissions for this event?

Obviously, and every single one will be "revenged"!

Can I get something of another type/quality back? For example, can I get a fully shaded drawing for my sketch, or art for my drabble?

Unfortunately not, as I prefer to always give something of the same type back. There are only the following two exceptions that I AM willing to do:

you do a drabble/oneshot —> I do a sketch

you do any type of art —> I write a drabble/oneshot

Is there anything you refuse to draw/write about?

Deuce ships (other than Deuce x Allen). NSFW. Family x family. Minor x adult. Any ship considered to be problematic.

How do I tell you about the ship I want you to draw/write about for me?

I'll DM you after you post your event submissions.

Do you prefer to do OC x canon, canon x canon, or OC x OC?

I have a bias towards OC x canon and canon x canon ships. However, I'm willing to do any ship that's not problematic! In the case of OC x OC, I simply need you to provide information on two OCs instead of one only.

Will you do poly ships?

In order to keep things fair, no. But I could include the third party as a plush or chibi head.

For anyone curious on the plot of TinkerBell and the ring of belief movie. This is basically it ✨.

This should be the end or close to the end.

My theory on what the Ring of belief is: Basically a relationship between a human child and a Neverland fairy. Where the fairy uses pixie dust to bring the child imagination and they in return believe in fairies to keep them alive. (Like the books in a way)

And To be a Wing maiden is basically getting pixie dust to do the ring of belief.

SO! To summarize the movie if you didn’t read the crazy board I made 😭

Tinker bell is a really bad student.

She rather be out having adventures with Peter Pan then doing fairy things.

She almost forgets about her graduation to become a wing Maiden because she’s hanging with Peter. Her friends drag her back home and they graduates into a wing maidens.

When the fairies take a trip the mainland, Tinker bell neglects to bring imagination to Victoria (she sparked some sort of connection with her which started “the ring of belief” but failed to follow through with it). This breaks the ring of belief because now Victoria is loosing belief and imagination which will have drastic consequences on Neverland (for some reason). Instead of following through with Victoria, Tink goes back to neverland because she’d rather be fighting pirates with Peter Pan. First Pixie dust begins to disappear. Meanwhile Tinkerbell goes to Peter’s hide out (which I assume is her first time going). She then gets bullied and kicked out by the lost boys. She’s pretty sad about this so she goes back home. (It seems like she goes to read a book which I assume is a class book on children and imagination and stuff like that). Tink then goes to her friends who are all panicking because pixie dust is disappearing. They have to figure out who and why the ring of belief broke before their world begins to disappear. Silvermist sees something is up with Tink but doesn’t seem to bring it up. All the fairies in pixie hollow fly out into the mainland to try and fix the ring of belief. Tink however does not and instead goes back to Peter’s hide out and uses her pixie dust on the lost boys and Peter which makes them absolutely adore her. They build her a little leaf thrown and she gets crowned with what looks like a wedding ring.

Eventually Tink herself feels guilty so she flys back to the mainland to check on Victoria. Tink notices she’s starting to disappear because Victoria is losing all sense of imagination and belief. The mainland and neverland seem to be merging into one. Tink returns back to neverland and we go back to tinks friends who have spent all day searching for a way to fix this mess. Silvermist suggest they have to find Tink so she can help fix this. Tinks friends go get help while Silvermist goes to find Tink who is hanging out with Peter. Silvermist finds Tink hanging out with Peter and tells her that they need her help. Before the fairies can do anything the part of neverland they’re on begins to merge to with the main land. Peter loses his ability to fly.

Hook captures Peter , the lost boys, Tink and Sil. They’re all thrown in a boiler room in hooks ship (child labor) as neverland looses more imagination and merges to just sad mainland. Tink watches in horror as all her past actions come back to bite her in the butt. She watches as Peter looses all sense of imagination and turns into a drab sad schoolboy (or you could say he lost all his rizz and tinker bell got the ick).

Tinks friends find sil and tink and free them. Tink admits she was the one who broke the ring of belief and her friends sacrifice themselves to give her their pixie dust(Remember she had already used her pixie dust on Peter and the lost boys and then it all disappeared so she didn’t have any.). All of Tinks friends die and Tink hurry’s to set things right with Victoria.

She does and brings back imagination to neverland and pixie hollow too.

Tinks friends come back and we don’t really know much after that the ending of the ending is still kind of missing. But that’s basically it.

Please keep in mind that this is just one version of the many scripts this movie underwent so there may be inconsistencies with previous versions. This seems to be one of the later scripts though.

the 'light inside' I imagine to be the Calamari Inkantation (yeah yeah, I know kinda basic) and, to me, the section elicits a sense of yearning almost? I would probably put imagery of what eight imagines the surface to be like here before crashing back down into the next section with imagery from the escape sequence.

2. Ouais Ouais - LemKuuja

my god do I love this song.

This would be a 24 or maybe 32 ship-animatic (or 96), mainly based on the lines right around 1:16;

the exact meaning of the lyrics doesn't really matter; it's an expression of attraction from the vocalist to a nondescript listener (at least that's how I interperet it? idk I'm kinda stupid and only just recently started learning japanese. anyone who's more familiar, feel free to correct me).

The way I envision this is 8 singing this to either 3 or 4 (or both), and them just ... not understanding it at all, being immensely confused. god paca, you're really hittin or out of the park with this one, really in-depth idea you got here, totally.

3. I hear a Symphony - Cody Fry

Animatic based on a Mariver fic I haven't written yet. Exact story deets aren't important, but the gist is that Shiver fishes (pun intended) Marie out of a post grandfest/rotm depression.

Calling artists avatar animatic idea.

Starting before previous animatic (find here https://www.tumblr.com/skeletonspirt/763095633404067840/animatic-idea-its-zuko-singing-you-know-who-you) zuko is curled up on the deck of his ship or some raft. He’s looking out at the destruction Agni has caused with tears in his eyes ready to give up saying it was pointless and other self doubt stuff(artist can pick)A spirit come from behind him, gently touching his shoulder. It’s Lu Ten. Gently smiling he crouches down and cups Zuko’s face and starts singing.

“I know a boy from island. He stands apart from the crowd. He loves the world and his people. He makes his true family proud(show images of the gaang and iroh, maybe Hakoda,Mai and Ty Lee as well) Sometimes the world seems against you(image of zuko’s struggle) The journey may leave a scar(Lu gently brushes his hand against zuko’s scar smile turning sad and tears well up) But scars can heal and reveal just where you are(Lu stand up and gestures to the spirit world and an image of the fire nation healing) The people you love will change you(zuko smiling and laughing with his real family at Iroh’s tea shop) The things you have learned will guide you(show his transformation from ponytail to fire lord) And nothing in this world can silence the quiet voice still inside you(zuko is standing at this point,Lu puts his hand on zuko’s shoulder and a faint outline of pre scar zuko appears behind zuko) And when that voice starts to whisper Oh zuko, you’ve come so far. Dear Zu listen, do you know who you are.(Lu is standing in front of him and is placing both hands on zukos shoulders).”

Zuko looks down and bites his lip (faint outline of zuko alone starts appearing)and he says “Who am I? I am a the boy who loves my nation and the boy who love the world. It calls me. I am the son of fire lord. We are descended from warriors(image of the sun warriors)(Zuko walks away from Lu and to the front of his ship,looking the world)who found their way across the world. They call me.( spirits of his ancestors start to appear in the background either riding dragons or sailing)”

He turns around and face Lu, hand clenched in a fist. “I’ve delivered us to where we are(pointing the place the artist decides to draw) I have journeyed farther(side by side image of zuko where he is and his 3 year sea journey) I am everything I’ve learned and more still it calls me( he runs up the deck up to wher he caught the helmsman’s in the storm. He reaches out to the sky) And the call isn’t out their all it’s inside me. It’s like the tide(or sun artist can pick) always falling and rising(zuko closes is eyes bright smile, suddenly he jumps down and runs to Lu who’s watching him with a proud smile) I will carry you head in my heart you’ll remind me(he hugs Lu as he sings this;both smiling while crying. Zuko pulls back and goes to the front again) Come what may, I know the way! I am Zuko!!

The ancestors appear fully in ships or dragons. Roku leading them all. Their all dressed in various fire nation clothes ranging from sun warriors to Zuko’s era. All smiling or having looks of pride for their descendant. Roku nods to zuko and holds out his hand for Lu to get in the dragon. He does and they salute zuko and salutes back. Fang roars and let’s loose rainbow flames and zuko,still grinning,shoots his own to join the dragons.

End.

Ask Box is Open Ask Me Anything

I did say I would open my ask box for this month to get details for the Emily Jones Paranormal Investigator AU I'm going to try to plan out and by that, I mean try to get my art game better. My goal is to get at least a test pilot out sometime next year and then start working on episode 1 (Uh, for the record this isn't an animated series. I have no idea how to animate but I would love to learn and get some people involved in the future if this goes well enough.) Though general asks are okay too.

The Greywhinder family

Unfortunately it is..I actually canceled au and don't want to make a comic anymore because I lost interest.But I don't like not the animated television series itself (Total Drama), but rather the fandom..I've been having mixed feelings since I officially left td fandom.I even made a post about it.

and yes, I don’t like total drama in part, but in order :

At first, I did not want to leave the fandom and wanted to continue with AU itself, but..

When I wrote a post before I went on a short vacation, it was originally supposed to read "oh and one more thing when I get back, please don't mention Total Drama and my AU because I'm not interested in this fandom anymore" ..Yes, I really wrote this (when rumors and news about one voice actor (I won’t say the name)) began, but then I removed the text, because maybe you started asking me

The reason why I left td fandom and why I don't draw this anymore:

1. The fandom is quite toxic, especially td shippers.. Yes, I like some td ship.. Yes, everyone has an opinion, but I don’t want to argue with anyone about which ship is the best or get negative from other people who don’t like this ship..

2.No idea for AU.. Actually I had a lot of ideas for AU and really wanted to publish art, backstory, animatic/animation and other things.. However, due to the art block, I either do not finish the art/comic and animation/animatic or postpone either I just cancel these ideas. Unfortunately, I often draw Chris or Christina (my td oc), but rarely draw characters from the original td or ocs

There are 2 reasons why I left the fandom, but I don't want to talk about it in detail (because of the news that the "voice actor" did something terrible or the fact that they write spoilers about this season by showing screenshots and videos (besides, all the episodes they were on google drive..where they found all the episodes and where the link itself is unknown to me) I was upset). Yeah I still kind of like td and I'm going to miss my AUs but I don't want to go back to the fandom..

I really wanted to keep adding to the story of my Au, however I'm not ready to draw and make comics for my AU yet..To be honest…I need time..Maybe one day I'll come back and continue to make comics and art on my AU,but I can't promise that I'll be back soon..I don't want drama on my blog because of this..

I need to think..

And yes…Chris really misses HK Nicky and Michael and wants to see them again, but it takes time for him to become friends again.

Oh okay, it’s not super polished and idk if I’m going to stick with all my ideas for it, it’s very much still in rough draft stage, but I like most of what I’ve got going.

idk if it can entirely be classified as a villain agent 4 au, more like a hypnoshades agent 4 au

This involves a totally different Agent 4 oc than the one I normally post about, and they actually have a name, it’s Itys.

So the story starts out every similar to this fic because it was actually inspired by the same animatic that this fic was…

The rest of the NSS is gone to Splatsville (including Eight), leaving Itys to take care of Octavio. Now this Agent 4 oc of mine is very traumatized. They’ve got severe monophobia (the fear of being alone). As Inkopolis Square gets deserted due to people leaving for Splatsville, their mental state suffers greatly.

Octavio sees this and decides to take advantage of it. He offers Itys a way out. Put on the hypnoshades and the pain goes away. They refuse over and over. But eventually, they break. They check Callie’s social media page in hopes of maybe seeing some reason why no one has contacted them or why Marie responded to their messages (they only ever messaged Marie, they had too much anxiety to try and reach out to anyone else). They see that nothing has happened to go wrong, and if anything the NSS are actually doing just fine. They cave and finally accept Octavio’s offer.

They free Octavio and put on the hypnoshades, joining the Octarian Army. But there they discover that only four octarians are left (a few new ocs). Octavio concludes that this must be the doing of the NSS and he begins to plan how to get revenge. Over the course of this Itys gets to be close with the remaining octarians, and they kind of replace the agents in their life.

Throughout the rest of the story, Octavio, Itys, and the remaining octarians interfere with the typical Splatoon 3 story mode, changing its course quite a bit. There’s a lot of angst in the whole thing. I don’t want to say too much more because if I am going to post it I don’t want to spoil it.

One thing that I’m on the fence about (that I’d actually love some opinions on) is whether or not I should keep in a ship that I wrote in. When I first started writing this (which was way back before Side Order was announced), I really liked the M4rie ship, so that plays a pretty big role in the story. I don’t dislike the ship now, in fact I still think it’s pretty cute, I just don’t like it as much. I would probabaly be able to make the story work with just having Marie and Itys as close friends, but idk if I want to change it or not.

Thanks for the link!!! I kept looking for it based on your first ask and I couldn’t find anything and I was honestly kind of sad that I couldn’t because I love Agent 4 villain aus.

I just read the first chapter, I don’t have time to read more right now but I am hooked! I’m going to speed read this the moment I get the chance!

As for how the characters in my universe would react, my Four would just feel bad for this version of themself. While it never got this bad for them, they certainly know how that same pain feels. They just want to give this version of Four a hug.

Acht is a little scared, but they also feel really bad. They may not be in love with this Four, but they still love a version of them. Regardless, they don’t think anyone deserves to suffer that kind of pain.

The other agents aren’t as compassionate, though they do still feel bad. They acknowledge the pain that this Four is feeling, but they also think she’s overreacting and should’ve tried harder to contact them etc. Again, I haven’t read past the first chapter but I’m assuming that she’s going to do something big things, so my agents would be pretty surprised by what she does.

Callie and Marie share similar feelings to the agents, but they also just feel bad. This may not be the Agent 4 that they know, but they still feel a little responsible for what’s happened to her.

The main story behind the this AU actually started from a simple concept of me re-watching Arcane and thinking how interesting Donnie would be as Jinx, and wanting to sketch a few ideas. This led to me wondering about the other boys and everything spiraled into splitting them up as follows: Donnie grew up with Draxum from the beginning as his personal test subject, driving him mad like Jinx. Leo and Mikey get separated from Splinter and Raph about five years after Splinter escapes with them. Leo gets kidnapped by the Foot clan where Shredder is alive and trains him as his pupil as revenge against Splinter. Mikey finds his way into to Big Mama’s loving arms until she gets bored of him and throws him into her Battle Nexus. Raph is the only one to stay and be raised by Splinter, who is more diligent in his teachings. He befriends April and they grow up together, training to become ninja. Eventually the boys find each other again.

Intresting Reaction

Today was the day!!! After years of knowing each other and months of being on the Dream smp together Tommy was finally going to meet his best mate Tubbo! In real life!! He was bouncing off the walls, this last minute plan was the best decision anyone could have ever made ever!

Now the trip there wasn't too far but it was still long, So for the remainder of the time in the car Tommy filmed a bit for his video, that he was most definitely going to upload as soon as he got back! And couldn't stop his leg from bouncing up and down with excitement when the GPS stated that they were nearing his final destination. He was going to meet Tubbo and Wilbur! This was the best day ever!!

Once Tommy had arrived the two shared a quick hug and many high fives. Tommy got a tour of the Tub House! And said hello to his siblings while the parents talked, It was already alot of fun but the fun had only just begun!

The two took off to the beach once they got the go ahead. Tommy filmed their sea adventure as the blonde tried to stand up on the paddle board ultimately making the two of them fall over into the water.

"I survived guys, I'm alive" Tommy stated as he pointed the camera towards himself. The two had some great laughs and genuinely enjoyed the well needed company.

As Tubbo tried to get back on the board to sail them back to land Tommy splashed the bee boy with some of the sea water as Tubbo scolded him for it, splashing the blonde back, the two kept pushing each other off and were having a great time, once the two settled a bit Tubbo let Tommy sit on the end of the board watching the sea life beneath them as Tubbo paddled them both back to shore.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Tubbo said with a gentle smile as Tommy hummed with a smile in response watching the fish go by

"You've got a great place and area man! Im jealous!" He joked as Tubbo giggled with him

"You're welcomed here anytime big man"

Tommy's smile grew wider before the board hit the rocks, "Alrighty, off my ship!"

"Pfft!" Tommy laughed, getting off and helping Tubbo carry the board back to his place.

After getting told off in a loving and joking way for entering the house soaking wet from swimming around in the ocean the two changed into some dry clothes chilling in Tubbo's room before Tommy's big brain sparked an idea

"You wanna stream? Chat wouldn't ever suspect a thing, I'll stream from your account! Please! It'll be so cool!"

Tubbo laughed and got out of his chair for Tommy to sit and get everything ready, "sounds good to me!"

Thus started the Tommyinit tradition of streaming on everyone's account that he met up with with their set up and things!

"HELLO?!"

Tommy shouted as the starting soon screen turned to Tommy's face in Tubbo's room on his account

"Sup Stream!"

The chat was going nuts! It was great!

"Im with, im with Bitch boy"

Tubbo made a face at him before they logged onto the dream smp to hang out, maybe do some pranks, it was going great!

"'This is wholesome', no its not!" Tommy said reading out some of the chat as Tubbo's character walked along prime path.

It was perfect, they were watching animatics and having a great time until Tommy got too excited and accidentally kicked Tubbo's pc which accidentally ended the stream, oops!

"Im so sorry Tubbo!"

"It's all good mate!"

It was fixed in no time but they didn't feel like starting a new stream, they both just wanted to enjoy time together so that's exactly what they did

The two went back to the beach, just to walk it this time. They walked and talked about all sorts of things from serious to silly they were really enjoying every minute!

"Look at this one Tubs!" Tommy had picked up a beautiful dusted ruby colored rock, the color was perfect faint enough and shined beautifully with the sun

"Oooo" the pair admired it before Tubbo showed the blonde a beautiful faint yellow one he found

"That ones huge! I love it!"

"Wanna throw it?"

"Hell yeah!!"

Shoving some seaglass into their pockets as well the two decided to head back before it got too late, the sun was slowly getting ready to fall with the moon patiently awaiting their performance in the sky.

"Lani?!" The blonde called out to his best friends younger sister as she walked over to the pair

"Here you go!" Tommy smiled handing her the ruby rock as she smiled and thanked him, heading to her room to put it on her desk.

"You gave it to Lani?" Tubbo giggled a bit rasing his eyebrow

"What!? I thought she'd like it! Buzz off man" Tommy giggled pushing Tubbo in the process

"Im messing with you that was lovely of you Toms" the brunette ruffled the youngers hair as Tommy grumbled before they walked back to Tubbo's room.

Tubbo was his best friend, his family was like his second family so that's why he wanted to give Lani the rock. Both boys knew that and Tubbo agreed that Tommy was family and that Tommy's parents were his second family too! And he couldn't be more happy about that fact.

So happy in fact that Tubbo gave Tommy a hug out of nowhere, his actions were of course returned by the blonde but still he questioned the brunette anyway

"Whahat was that for?"

"Felt like it"

Tubbo answered as the blonde giggled once more, the two went out to move their TV party to the living room couch when Tubbo's parents announced they were going to head out with Tubbo's siblings for a bit.

Throwing back on their favorite show the pair smiled in this shared comfortable scilence, just them and the tv, no cameras in their face or people to interact with, a bit of peace if you will,

Short-lived peace if anything. In the scilence Tubbo had shifted his head down onto Tommy's shoulder the blonde looking at him smiling with his eyebrow raised before turning his attention back to the TV.

"what happened to not being good with physical affection big man?” Tommy stated, his eyes still glued to the tv as Tubbo audibly growled jokingly, his peace disrupted by this question,

"Comfy" Tubbo said with a jokingly annoyed tone making Tommy giggle

"Im comfy?"

"Yes"

"Good to know, but this isn't all man, you've been extra touchy and Clingy today, I thought that stuff bothered you?" Tommy was still being lighthearted but it was a genuine question, he didn't want to make Tubbo uncomfortable is all, that's why he asked too

Tubbo pushed and practically headbutted his head further into Tommy's shoulder as the blonde giggled a bit louder

"Ahahalright I'll drop it" Both smiling wide things were going good, except soon Half-way through this one episode Tommy needed to move but he didn't want to disturb Tubbo so he bounced his leg until he stated to the brunette

"Tubs I love ya pal and I love this platonic affection that's going on but I gotta move so either you get your head off my shoulder or you get removed by force" he half jokingly stated giggling a bit as Tubbo smirked and shook his head 'no'

"You can't evict me from my house Tommy, your shoulder is my house now and I'm not leaving weather you like it or not!" The brunette joined in the fun giggling a bit too before Tommy smiled

"Suit yourself" the taller of the two had begun to push at the smaller's head but alas he wouldn't budge! That's when he decided to move down and push his side to get him off.

The noise Tubbo made shocked not only Tommy but himself as well

"Tubbooo~ what was thatt?~"

"Nothing!" He was quick to respond scrambling away from his former "house" as he moved down the couch, Tommy followed with a smirk until he his back hit the end of the couch

"T-tommy! Let's talk about this!"

His smirk only grew as he lowly chuckled at his right hand man "Excellent! We will talk about it! Answer me this then since you really want to talk about it, Are you Ticklish Tubbo?~"

"Whaaaat! ME! Never! How dare you suspect such a thing!"

Tommy laughed a little while wiggling his fingers teasingly at the other "oh yeah? You're not ticklish? Mind if we test that theory out mate?"

"N-noho need! Bossman heheh!" Tubbo was practically in a ball at this point at the end of the couch as he watched Tommy's wiggling fingers got closer and closer to him getting ready to attack at any moment!

"What's wrong Tubs? You seem nervous, afraid that my wiggly fingers are gonna tickle tickle tickle all over your tickle spots? I thought you didn't have any? Tubbo! Don't tell me you lied to me now?~"

A hue of crimson circled Tubbo's face before he blurted out his hands in front of him for protection

"Wahait! Tohohoms! I didn't mean to-"

"Do you know what happens to people that lie to me Tubbo?"

"W-what?"

"They get,,,,Tickled!!" And with that Tommy's quick hand wiggled all ten tickly fingers into the smaller's sides as Tubbo kicked his legs out rolling from side to side to try and escape Tommy's tickly wrath.

"NAHAHA THOHOohohoMY!!!"

"Yes Tubbo? That's my name!" He quickly skittered over the exposed skin on his sides that was created from all of the rolling,

"EEE! NOHohOHoT FaHaHaiR!" Tubbo continued to giggle away grabbing at Tommy's hands in the process to try and push them away, nothing worked but honestly he wasn't complaining.

"Oh I think this is plenty fair Tubso seeing as you lied to me" he continued this bit he was doing, smiling brightly as he skittered up Tubbo's ribs, towards his underarms.

"Tickletickletickletickletickle!" Tommy giggled saying the word tickle on repeat in a baby voice as he skittered up and down and back up Tubbo's ribs making sure to get the in between areas of his ribcage as well leaving no spot untickled

"TOHOhoOHMMY!!!" Tubbo's legs softly pounded the couch behind the pair as Tommy evilly giggled "IhIhiHiM SOHOhohorryy!! HEHE!"

Tommy smirked "good! Im glad you have admitted to your mistakes now laugh for me bee boy!" He giggled wiggling his fingers into Tubbo's underarms as they shot down to his sides with ease and speed.

"HAHAhahaha!!" Tubbo wiggled a bit before letting his body fall fate to the tickles

Tommy sat smiling wider, seeing his best friend happy was all he ever needed.

"You've trapped my hands Tubbo! What am I supposed to do now!" He stopped wiggling them for a minute while Tubbo got his breathy giggles out,

"Gehehet them ouhuHAHA-OUT! THOHOHOMMYY!! HEHE!" Wiggling his fingers once again Tommy laughed along with him

"You've gotta release my hands Tubs!"

"TOhHoMmY! PLEheAse!"

"Okay okahay!" Tommy got his hands out from Tubbo's underarms rasing them up to quickly move them only inches away from the brunettes stomach.

"T-Thohohommy! Please don't!"

"Don't what Tubbo?"

"Tihickle me! WAIT!-"

"Tickle you? I'd be happy too! Tickletickletickletickle I gotcha now Tubbo!"

"TOHOHOOHMMY HAHAHAHA NAHAHAHAHA PLEAHAHAHASE!"

"Hey Tubs do you like raspberries? Because I think they're delicious!" He took a deep breath in before blowing the biggest raspberry ever on the center of Tubbo's stomach shaking his golden locks around with it to make it tickle more.

"AH! HAHAHAHAHAHA TOHOHOMMY! MEHEHERCY! HEHEHE!"

"Hahaha ahahalright! Im all done big man!" He rubbed away the ghost tickles before helping him sit back up, the tv still going with a show that's now long forgotten by the pair as Tubbo continued giggling with his breath and placing himself right back on to Tommy's shoulder.

"Im glad you liked it Tubs"

"WHA-?!"

"It was obvious but don't worry I won't tell or say anything to anyone, and between you and me I don't mind it either but that's for another day"

"Pfft, lee!"

"I am not! If anything you're the lee here bee boy! More like lee boy!"

The two joked before Tubbo poked Tommy's face "shush, sleep time"

"Sounds good king, sleep well my friend!"

"You too Tommy you too"

It wasn't long before Tommy did eventually fall asleep along with him, Tubbo's parents putting a blanket over them letting them sleep in peace, they deserved it, it was so great to see the pair finally meet in person, it was a day and night they would never forget!

Streamer!Scaramouche [2]

thanks for all the support in the first part! i wrote a second part where scaramouche plays genshin + the reader comes in (i tried to make it as gender neutral as possible, so let me know if there’s something off!). you’re a close friend of scaramouche and also a voice actor!

i had been planning this since i wrote the first part, but because i was busy and uninspired i couldn’t finish it. but here it is and it’s actually pretty long (over 5k words...)! i hope you guys will like this!! obviously he’s a little nicer than he is in game but,,, for the sake of the plot + it being a modern au, it had to be done sjnfdskjf

He was selected to play the beta for genshin because of his popularity and tbh he really wanted to play it

The game hadn’t really caught his eye all that much when he first heard about it but he saw how everyone online went crazy over it (plus other streamers who also were selected to play it in early access kept talking about it) and he became more curious to know what it would be like and if it’d live to everyone’s expectations

However he couldn’t really play it until it was officially released because he had a very busy schedule, and when he saw other streams of people playing it he was,,, lowkey jealous because it did look fun

When it was finally released and the game finished downloading and installing, he went live right away

And since so many people were looking forward to seeing him play plus the game was getting so popular so fast, that stream of when he first played hit his biggest milestone of live viewers ever

ANYWAYS skip forward to further into the game

when it comes to the gacha,,,

we’ve established that this boy is loaded. he won’t hesitate to throw some big amounts of money at the game to get every single character and weapon he wants and get their constellations to the max

i feel like he’d make little bets (and it works as a way to thank the chat for the support) like “if i get (insert newest character) in the first 50 pulls, i will gift 50 subs”

he’d be SOOOOOOO LUCKY it’d make everyone who doesn’t play think that it must be very easy to get the 5 stars or that the drop rate must be very high,,,

so in the end he’d have to gift the subs and it’d be funny to see the chat go absolutely crazy because everyone is commenting at the same time trying to see if they got lucky too and got the sub

but the chat goes so fast that they can’t even see their own comment after they send it sNDJGDJSK 

he’d end up turning subs mode on for a while because it goes crazy

and that’s when he’d see people going “I GOT THE SUB-” all excited and he can’t help but chuckle and congratulate them for being one of the lucky ones

probably another game he can use to play with some subs once in a while! they could play co-op and when he’s a very high level he’d go to the worlds of some of his subs with lower level to help them with whatever they need

so everyone is very curious of what they’ll be like, if scaramouche will try to get them (obviously he will, he has every single character…. the amount of money he has put into the game…. just thinking of it gives me the heebie-jeebies)

spoiler: he won’t because he’ll stay honest till the end (and no hard feelings) but there are other characters that he has built up to the max just like them and still work better with the way he plays but he’ll still find a chance to use them often

he didn’t know anything of what the character you voiced would be like because you wanted to keep it a surprise and he knew his audience would enjoy seeing his first reactions

I think the character you voice in the game would have the role that Scaramouche has in the actual game, and their design would be fairly similar (maybe similar color palette) to the design fans made for him as a genshin character (the one i mentioned that he uses for popup notifs of subscriptions and all!)

needless to say he’d absolutely love their personality and the charisma you showed in their lines

of course when he finally gets them he shows everything about them including all their voice lines and he compliments y/n’s voice acting… that was the first time people suspected that....

it’s in the soft gaze in his eyes,,, the gentle smile on his lips,,, his soft voice when saying “I think this one is my favorite line of theirs”

and just how BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL his laugh sounds when someone comments he should invite you and ask you to do that voiceline live for him and everyone else

he’d jokingly reach for his phone and be like “should i call them? i could” 

(but he wouldn’t because he doesn’t want to disturb you, you may be busy, considering you still hadn’t replied to the messages he sent to you before he started the stream a few hours ago)

if anyone dares be mean to you saying you got the chance to voice act for genshin just bc of scaramouche

or implies that he did something to get you there he’ll get quite mad even tho he won’t speak up about it (he might if enough people say it) 

people can see something shift in his gaze,,,, and he bans them permanently right away

it’d be kinda funny when he does those “reading unban requests” streams and he goes past immediately rejecting people who said those kind of stuff, not even reading the apologies JSNKJFNDSJKGNSDK

some people say he’s too strict about it but literally his stream his rules. people who don’t like him should just not watch him

and people who like him should NOT speak badly about you or doubt your talent and effort, which is what brought you that opportunity in the first place

one day he’d be streaming playing the game, he had been using your character and gathering materials to get their last ascension

and at one point he’d grab his phone and look at the screen for a second before putting it back down and saying he had planned something else for tonight besides playing genshin for a while

then, the doorbell would ring (before he could even close the game-) and it’d be heard from his setup room so people in the chat heard it and they’re all like???

it’s definitely not takeout because scaramouche never orders takeout when he’s on his own, he usually cooks for himself and just orders it when he’s with friends and they all feel like eating something different

actually, offtopic, but i have a feeling he’d be very responsible when it comes to food and like he’d cook himself proper meals all perfectly balanced and all- he could afford having someone cook for him but his house = his privacy and personal space so he’d rather do it himself

it’s like, past 10pm, so no way it would be a package or mail at that time

and then he says “we have a visitor tonight”

and then the chat goes crazy saying “CHILDE” “HARBINGERS” but mostly “Y/N!??!?/PLEASE LET IT BE Y/N”

AND IT WAS YOU!!!!

and omg you brought takeout--------

it had been a while since they had seen you in scaramouche’s stream and you didn’t have your own channel (even though there were many people who encouraged you to open one)

SO everyone was very excited

i feel like scaramouche wouldn’t be the biggest fan of eating on camera so you guys would put the food away so that you can eat it later on your own without an audience

and you two would just spend a while talking to the chat, watching videos

AND reviewing fanart and fanmade content together!! it’d be so cute especially fanarts of the two of you together, little animatics or comics of funny clips or memes from his streams of you two,,,

someone made a little felt plushie of the genshin character you voiced and the way you COOED because it was SO cute

only those who were truly paying attention were able to notice the soft smile on scaramouche’s lips and the way he looked at you as you gushed over how cute the little plushie is and how talented the person who made it is!!

also you’d tell him you saw signora make a stream where she talked to some of her fans on discord individually to give them advice on their life/problems (nothing too serious) and it was very funny and you wanted to do that with him someday

and he’s like “that… could be a huge mess. people could say some crazy stuff” and you’re like “NO but i talked to her about it and she said she got her mods to talk to them first and approve them before they moved them up to the channel where she was to talk to her”

and he’s like “still…….. what if people lie and then when they get to talk to us they say something-”

and you’re like “BOY!!!! DO YOU NOT TRUST YOUR FANS *GASP*” and everyone in the chat is also going “GASP” “HE DOESN’T TRUST US…” “IS THIS YOUR IDOL…..?” “SAY SORRY” (all good fun, obviously he’d love to talk to everyone if he could make sure there won’t be anything disrespectful said)

SO!!!!! you two say you’ll plan to do something like that soon and everyone is very excited, they can already tell it’ll be both super cute and hilarious

before he ends the stream, you two watch some videos together

some are about some upcoming videogames and he talks about them and what he knows and explaining things to you... he is.. so knowledgeable…

the way you look at him as he goes into a little rant about it… cinematic parallels with the way he looked at you before

ONCE AGAIN, people aren’t blind. they notice. but they keep it to themselves bc scary scara (the way i had to resist overusing this one joke with his name-)

so the stream ends and you two walk out of the setup room to go to his living room and eat the takeout you brought while watching something on tv

he apologises because the food is cold now, but you brush it off saying it’s ok, you had missed being on his streams and you two can just heat up the food again

he doesn’t look at you in the eyes as he mutters that you know you can join his streams whenever, and instead just says it as he makes his way to the kitchen to heat the food

you join him in the kitchen soon after and tell him you also bought something for dessert and put it in the fridge already before

and honestly he didn’t know how much he wanted to eat that dessert until it was in his fridge, so he can’t stop himself from sighing and saying “god, i love you”

there’s silence for a second, right as the microwave beeps as it finished heating the food

it feels eternal to him, but you immediately started laughing and said jokingly “of course you do! you’re welcome!” 

he’s happy you took it as a joke because that’s not how he planned to confess (he didn’t plan to confess anytime soon in the first place) but at the same time ?? he’s lowkey offended inside because? you took it as a joke?? is it so unrealistic that you wouldn’t even think that he meant it romantically?

it’s at that moment that he realises that if he didn’t want to confess before, now he does.

he wouldn’t want anyone to know about how he let that slip because he’s sure no one in you two’s friend group even knows he likes you

but you,,, actually,,,,, were actually caught off guard too because scaramouche wasn’t precisely one for words of affection and he showed his care for everyone with his actions

in fact, you had never heard him say those words before but well- it was kinda nice- if only he meant it as you feel it- but he couldn’t, right? who’d confess their feelings so casually while looking at a dessert in the fridge with desire-------

that night, it gets pretty late and to be honest he’s a little too tired to drive you home as he usually would, so he asks if you’d like to sleep over

it wouldn’t be your first time doing so, not even the first time you stayed unplanned, and he had a couple guest rooms that you could use so you accepted

also, staying for longer meant you could keep watching some more of that series with him without worrying about it getting late

or,,,

“actually” you said in a low voice, almost a whisper, since it was getting late and you two had been in complete silence while watching the series “i lowkey still wanted to stream some more”

he scoffs but then lets out a short chuckle, replying in the same volume

“it’s past 2am, who’s going to watch me stream now?”

“i would” have mercy for his poor heart- “but i’d be the streamer too this time so it doesn’t count” 

“what even would we do”

“can we play that co-op game you played with childe? it was so much fun” 

had you not brought it up, he wouldn’t have offered that ever because? if he had recently played it with childe he didn’t want to stream it again and make it feel repetitive for his audience 

(jokes on him because when genshin came out they put up with it being the only thing he streamed for over a week. they’d rewatch any game if it’s you two playing it)

but to be honest, he didn’t really want to stream anymore that day and just wanted to be with you, just you and no one else

he got up from the couch and walked towards the hallway, making you look up to him in confusion for a second, but then started getting excited knowing this meant he was going to let you play it with him

“i don’t really feel like streaming anymore today, but we can still play it. let’s go”

the next day, you two wake up around the same time and make breakfast together

scaramouche i feel is not very talkative in the mornings 

in fact, i feel like he’s just not the most talkative in general. he’s more the type to listen, but it’s different during his streams because he’s doing what he loves and talking about what he loves

and when it comes to you and he talks more it’s because he’s talking to who he loves----

before you’re going to leave and you’re standing at the door about to say goodbye to him, he suddenly speaks up before you can

“do you want to go somewhere tomorrow?”

you raise your eyebrows in curiosity from the sudden request, but then smile at him and nod

“yeah sure! what do you have in min-”

“it’s a date” he said, interrupting you, which was weird enough of him (since he would never interrupt you), but his words were even weirder-

“h-huh?” you felt the heat rising to your cheeks, and scaramouche just repeated his words

on the outside, he looked so casual and just, confident- bUT INSIDE he was actually panicking a little bit 

but just a little bit.

After a moment, you smiled at him again, this time somewhat more shily but also excited for your date!

“I look forward to it”

Just with that, you two knew you had made the first step

You weren’t just friends anymore

You two had hung out on your own many times before, in fact and as it was mentioned before, you two had even slept over at his house or yours many times before

but it had all always been purely platonic, and you guys had never even questioned that aspect of it even after realising you had romantic feelings for each other

he’d spend the rest of the day thinking of what you could do the next day, as if he hadn’t been brainstorming for ideas all night either

i feel like he hasn’t gone in many (if not any--) dates before

solely because he has never been interested in romance plus he had never liked someone or at least, not as much as he liked you

and even when he found out he felt something for you, he just always told himself he was okay with how things were, because he’d never experienced anything beyond friendship and didn’t feel the need to try and maybe ruin the friendship

SO he didn’t have many ideas of what a good date could be

he definitely didn’t want a cliché corny date, but he really didn’t have any idea of what was good enough for a date

(and if for future dates you want something he’d consider a “”cliché corny date”” he’d do it for you and actually enjoy it)

the last thing he wanted was to have to ask you what you could do for your date

1- because he didn’t want to show you any side of him that didn’t look like he always has everything under control and he’s always composed (as if you wouldn’t want to see every side of him, even his most vulnerable sides- you’d have to work on that with him when you two become official)

2- he… kind of wanted to surprise you…..

but it really got to the point where he really didn’t know what you’d like the most (or what he’d like the most too) and what he wanted most over anything else is to not disappoint you in you two’s first date

SO he finally texted you asking if there was anything special you wanted to do (and therefore indirectly admitting he……….. just really wanted to ask you out. so much he did it without thinking of what he’d do if you said yes--)

you didn’t seem to mind, and in fact you were happy he asked for your opinion 

overall, scaramouche was very independent so he wasn’t one to ask others for advice, opinions or anything, much less for help regarding anything

“how long has it been since we last went to the arcade? we could go there! i heard from childe that they added new games!”

and he’s like !?!?!?? THAT…. is…….. the perfect idea

“that actually sounds perfect” he admitted, and the message brought a big smile to your face 

“just don’t get mad at me when you lose at all of them” he sent right after, teasing you, and you couldn’t help but let out a laugh out loud

“the last time i won in your favorite game” you reminded him, and even after he read your message, he took a little bit to reply

(he needed a second to put the pieces of his pride together SJNFKJDS)

“don’t get used to it, it won’t happen again”

“we will see about that” the more you two joked like this, the more excited you got thinking about tomorrow

scaramouche was sure now that it’d be a great first date that you’d both remember forever

the next day, it was almost the time for the date and scaramouche was going to pick you up at your house

i feel like scaramouche would be very fashionable and even in his style he doesn’t try to hide that he’s loaded…

not that he cares about buying cheap clothes, literally he’d say if he likes it and it’s good (aka it’s not cheap because it’s made of something that won’t make it last longer than 3 weeks) he’ll get it

but it just so happens that many times… the clothes he likes most are from famous brands…

AND THIS DAY!!!!!! he’s putting together one of his favorite outfits because it’s a special day

it almost hurts me just how nonchalant he’d look on the outside, making it a little hard to know exactly just how much this date meant to him (because as i said he’s not one to be very vocal about his feelings or even his thoughts)

BUT i trust that you… since you know him well…. can see past all that and you know that this is not just anything casual to him. this is special.

STILL!!!! he’d try his best to not let the blush rise to his cheeks and show, as well as to not let his voice shake when he complimented that you looked very good

ANYWAYS i think i think Scaramouche wouldn’t be one for big pda

the most he’d do where anyone can see is hold your hand or put his arm around your waist

WHICH IS WHY he’d try to be all smooth (and he would manage) reaching for your hand and lacing his fingers with yours

he wouldn’t make eye contact because then he’s sure it’ll show on his face that he’s getting somewhat flustered, but he’d still ask if you’re okay with it, to which you said yes

the area where the arcade was is always somewhat crowded so when you two were getting there, scaramouche would tighten the grip on your hand a little bit to make sure you wouldn’t let go and you’d be pulled apart by people trying to walk past however they can

you know that if you two got serious about your relationship, he would want to be the first person to share the news with his fans

BUT since he was so popular now, you two lived in a pretty big city and now were at a popular area (+ scaramouche wouldn’t be the type to try and hide his identity because he’s never had people make a fuss when they recognise him)

you were a little worried someone would see you two and maybe take a picture and post it online and it’d go viral before he can admit it himself

because of that, you end up throwing back to him the question he had asked when he held your hand 

“are you sure this is okay?”

your question confused him because he didn’t know what you mean, so he finally looked you in the eyes and waited for you to explain further

“it’s just- what if somebody sees us and recognises you?”

he looked away from you and back at where he was going, taking a few seconds to answer before he just shrugged

“i don’t care”

you softly let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding as you waited for him to say something, and almost missed the way he whispered

“as long as it doesn’t affect you”

for someone who seemed and actually tried to seem to self-sufficient, who appreciated his friends but was also okay on his own because he was absolutely comfortable with himself, he was actually…

more selfless than people would ever know, especially when it came to you

you two would have SO much fun in the arcade, trying every single game many times

this time though, scaramouche won in his favorite game so he lived up to his words

you two won so many tickets you literally didn’t even know what to do with them once you got the couple prizes you were interested in

you bumped into a couple fans of his, so you talked for a while

once again, you were met with suggestions of opening your own streaming channel, and even scaramouche said “i’ve told them that many times too, but they always say they think their streams won’t be fun enough”

and the fans are like “NO!! literally everyone thinks you’re super nice and fun!! of course you don’t have to if you don’t want to, but we’d love it!!”

one of the fans (exaggerating a little as a joke) said “i’ll be your number 1 fan i swear” and the three of you laughed, except scaramouche who just scoffed and smirked 

“i am ALREADY their number one fan. but good try” <- scaramouche in his head. say it outloud u coward.

but at the same time it was a joke scaramouche chill pretty much everyone knows you’re their number one fan……. even though you think you’re so smooth………. they just don’t say anything 

they were very nice and fun to talk to and you knew scaramouche and you didn’t really want anything else from the prizes, so you offered you two’s tickets to them

“we don’t really need these anymore so maybe you’ll have more use for them!!”

they got SO excited, the way their eyes lit up :( scaramouche is convinced you’re an angel but he’s also very happy to see how joyful his fans got because those were more than enough for the prize they really wanted-

so after that cute little interaction and having used up your energy for competition, you two leave and think of buying some ice cream or a milkshake or something to end the date nicely and to enjoy while you walk back home

the arcade was not exactly very close to where you two lived (it was far from your house, but even farther from his-) so he asked if you were okay with walking back or if you two should get an uber or something, to which you said you were okay

walking back with him meant!! a little more time you could spend with him

and he was happy you said that because he was feeling the same way and still didn’t want the day to end

we’ll see more about the kind of things he likes and dislikes if he’s released as a playing character BUT FOR NOW i really get this vibe that he’d LOVE boba tea

i even think he’d?? enjoy tea in general??? classy boy…

SO you two would end up going to get some boba 

it was very touching how, when reading the flavors they had that day, he suddenly and casually went “oh, they have your favorite” and you looked at the one he was pointing at and !!! indeed it was your favorite!!!!!!!

he remembers this kind of details very well

you take the chance to talk some more as you’re walking home

scaramouche asks about your job with voice acting and you tell him that you actually have been recording some new lines for your genshin character lately because in the next update there’ll be an event involving them

he’s looking forward to it but he teases you a little asking if it’s okay for you to spoil him with such information

but it’s okay because it’s not like he’d tell anyone, especially knowing it could get you in trouble

when he drops you off at your house, he has a hard time saying goodbye

literally you’re standing at your door and he’s in front of you, a couple steps away, looking away from you

you don’t say goodbye either, mainly because you know scaramouche is working the courage to say something, and you can also sort of guess what he wants to say

you think of saying it first, but then think that it would make scaramouche proud to be honest about his feelings and confess first

“i’ve liked you for a long time”

you can’t help the smile that makes its way onto your face, unconsciously reaching a hand up to slightly cover it

“i feel the same way” you replied to him in a soft voice

he took a deep breath and exhaled it softly, finally lifting up his gaze and making eye contact with you

it was already dark outside, so you couldn’t appreciate the faint rosy blush on his cheeks well

“can i kiss you?”

your eyes widened for a second, not expecting him to ask and if anything, thinking he’d just step forward and do it

so you were a little embarrassed and caught off-guard to reply properly, so you just nodded and put your hand down as he took the last couple steps and his face was right in front of yours

he’d cup your cheek in one of his hands, feeling the warmth of your skin

you closed your eyes, and he looked at you for a second longer before he finally leaned in and closed the short distance that separated your lips

at that moment you both knew that you had been missing on so much more when you two just settled and were content with your friendship

but!! that was about to change now, so it was all worth it

after that, scaramouche would make clear that this would be the first day of your relationship!! and even if he didn’t say it with words, you could just feel his happiness!!

so!! after that, because of work you two got a little busy the next couple months so dates weren’t very frequent 

or at least, they weren’t dates like the one you first had

but still whenever you two were free he’d go over to your house, or you’d come over to his to play, stream together, or literally just spend time together doing anything

he wouldn’t let people know you two had started dating straight away (if anything, only his other streamer friends -aka you two’s friends in common- knew)

but the day he said it, he wanted you to be there

SO one day you two were streaming and you were currently reacting to one fanart of you two together

so he looked at you and you made eye contact and it was like you two spoke with your eyes like

“do we tell them now”

“let’s tell them.”

so scaramouche would clear his throat and without closing the fanart, he’d say he has something he wanted to announce

everyone was excited thinking it’d be some new project, maybe involving you

maybe some merch??? and the fanarts had reminded him of it???????

BUT THEN he straightforwardly said

“y/n and i are dating”

and everyone goes aBSOLUTELY CRAZY

amidst the chaos, you two catch a comment saying “will you unban the people who shipped you two” and you laugh

and you look at each other like “did you read that one?” “yeah”

and scaramouche is like “yeah, i guess i will have to unban some people”

and when some get unbanned they’re like “fREEDOM!!!!”

and jokingly they’re all like “APOLOGISE!!!!!!!! SAY SORRY!!!” so he just laughs and you join them being like “!!! apologise!!! you banned them for it and!! look at you now!!”

so he ends up trying to hold in another laugh as he mutters a halfassed ‘sorry’ and everyone starts commenting claps and hearts and celebrating that he apologised. now justice has been made.

the rest of that stream suddenly feels livelier and brighter!! you two are laughing a lot and so is everyone in the chat!! 

and also the new genshin event would’ve already just been released that same day so you can talk about some of your experiences with recording or what you thought of it

and scaramouche would let you play it yourself!! (he still hadn’t played it) and it was also the first time you played genshin live!! you’d show people the characters you have and everything and tell them some anecdotes

people would be SHOCKED because you!? don’t have the character you voiced!? D:

and you’re like “yeah… i pulled for them and used up all my primogems and… didn’t get them”

and your banner is back because of the event, so scaramouche won’t let this slide!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL GET YOUR CHARACTER.

your luck is terrible compared to his so at one point you’ll literally feel bad for how much he’s spending for you to get it

but he doesn’t mind at all and everyone is having fun so!!

and once you finally get them you’re sO HAPPY and everyone in the chat is celebrating

and you think it’s over but scaramouche is like ???? what are you doing?? open the wish page again. you’re going to get them c6.

and you’re like oh my gOD PLEASE NO DON’T SPEND MORE MONEY ON ME FOR THIS

but he won’t listen and he’ll do it

so!!! he’ll always do his best to be the best boyfriend he can be for you!! so you better give him your heart!!!!

The Mista fic playlist (now with context!)

So I finally made the Yester-Me, Yester-You, Yesterday playlist public, and when I looked it over, I realized. Some of these definitely need explanations. And also I will take any excuse to ramble about my tunes, so, if anyone’s curious, here’s little explanations for each song on the playlist so far.

Spoilers for the fic obviously, and for all of Vento Aureo.

Yester-Me, Yester-You, Yesterday - Stevie Wonder: If it’s not clear, this is the song I named the fic after, mainly because I was obsessively listening to it when I first started writing it. YMYYYD is a Naramis fic on the surface, but when I was playing it on repeat imagining a little animatic that I’ll never make bc I’m not an artist  figuring out how this title was going to work in my brain, I pictured the “Me” and “You” referring to Mista and Fugo, in a platonic sense, but take it as you will.

The Sweetest Thing - Camera Obscura: This is the song that inspired the whole thing. Back when this was going to be a oneshot fic (lol), I was actually considering having it as a sort of braided narrative thing between Mista and Fugo in this singular scene at the bar, heavily based off the first verses of this song: Mista going on a date to forget about Narancia, Fugo immersing himself in music to ignore the shadow of Giorno lingering over him, and both of them instead getting stuck in the past. But I ran what would become the first and third chapters by my friend, we decided it worked better as a longer fic, and the rest is history.

The Girl of My Best Friend - Elvis Presley: No deep meaning really, just kind of the Mista vibe at the beginning of the fic with developing feelings for Narancia (although he’s much more unaware of what these feelings mean).

Come Back When You Grow Up - Bobby Vee: Not solely related to the fic, per se, but this is the Fugonara breakup song imo. I don’t talk about the circumstances of their breakup in the fic, really, but I can say it had a lot to do with Fugo’s insecurities; at the same time, I imagine him using Narancia’s “immaturity” as an excuse - hence, this song.

Kiss With A Fist: Florence + the Machine: I just listened to this over and over while writing the Fugo and Mista fightfight scene in chapter 5. Not meant to imply anything romantic, but, again, everything’s open to reader interpretation.

Boyfriend - Best Coast: Just referring to the little Mista/Narancia/Fugo love triangle thing, although I don’t think Mista’s fully aware that it is a love triangle. He’s got a one-track mind, lmao.

Follow that Dream - Elvis Presley: Funny little Giorno song. Something something cute charming sound like his cute charming exterior, lyrics about ambition and dreams and all that.

Jive Talkin’ - Bee Gees: This is one of those meta ones lol. Some fun Bee Gees lore for you guys: this song was originally called Drive Talkin,’ because it was inspired by and composed to the beat of a car driving. So, I listened to this song a lot to get into the vibe of chapter 9, where Mista and Giorno are, well, talking and driving. The more I think about it, the lyrics are a little relevant, too, since they’re about someone lying and putting on facades.

Think For Yourself - The Beatles: Fugo Leaves The Gang Song. If Vento Aureo was a jukebox musical, he’d sing this when he’s having his breakdown and yelling at everyone for betraying the boss. Something like that.

A World of Our Own - The Seekers: Naramis core - that’s why it’s on my Naramis playlist, too. I associate the ending of chapter 10 with this, when Mista and Narancia have a sort of calm before the storm travelling through Venice on the boat. Also, it’s my very specific headcanon that Mista would love The Seekers.

(They Long To Be) Close To You - The Carpenters: Hey it’s that one song that everyone puts on every Mista ship playlist ever (it’s okay I’m not immune). Obviously, this is the song playing in chapter 11, when Naramis becomes Real, and later on in chapter 15.

How Deep Is Your Love - Bee Gees: Another meta one! I initially planned Narancia and Mista’s slow dance/kiss scene with this song in mind, instead of (They Long To Be) Close To You. I changed it because 1) it made more sense to have a Carpenters song, and 2) those lyrics fit the recurring theme of “Narancia is hard not to fall in love with” better. I think the sound of this song fits the atmosphere I imagined better, though, so I second-guess my decision every now and then, but it’s whatever.

Teen Angel - Mark Dinning: Classic teenage death song for everyone’s favorite teenage death in JJBA :))))). Mostly a tune I listened to and thought of Narancia so I’d be sad while writing the chapter where he dies.

(I Just) Died in Your Arms - Cutting Crew: I thought I was So Very Funny for being like. Haha what if I put this on the fic playlist bc Narancia dies in Mista’s arms literally haha it’d be so funny. It’s not funny. It’s a stupid joke and I’m still sad about Narancia.

Two Faced Man - Gary Wright: This is *the* post-VA Mista and Giorno dynamic song. I probably annoyed my partner so much while writing chapter 14, because I wouldn’t shut up about their tragic relationship (friendship? I like calling it a strangers-to-friends-to-enemies speedrun) and how perfectly this song fits what I was going for.

I’m Looking Through You - The Beatles: Same thing. I imagine Mista’s internal turmoil in chapter 14/the PHF bonus chapter as sounding something like this. The tragic moment where someone you cared about reveals that they’ve been nothing more than a facade, the instant change in your perception of them, the stinging pain of betrayal, etc etc.

Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now - The Smiths: I wrote chapter 15, discovered this song, and was retroactively like “ohhh yeah that’s Mista here.” The “two lovers entwined pass me by” line may or may not apply to something later. You’ll have to see. (Idk I think everyone gets the gist of what’s going to happen tbh.)

A World Without Love - Peter and Gordon: Mista’s lonely as hell, if you haven’t noticed. It’s a cycle of blocking others out because the sting of loss is too much, which only makes the loneliness worse as the effects of self-induced isolation kick in.

Sorrow - The McCoys: Yet another Mista and Giorno toxic dynamic song. I prefer the version by The Merseys, but it’s not on Spotify, and The McCoys do a really solid version, too. I could go further than the fic into a rant about this song and It’s All Too Much by The Beatles, which both include the line “with your long blonde hair and your eyes of blue,” but are otherwise very different - this one about festering resentment in a relationship one can’t escape, the other about being completely overwhelmed by drugs love and beauty, and how they’re Mista’s and Fugo’s individual perceptions of Giorno, but that’s a talk for another day.

Run Of The Mill - George Harrison: MISTA AND FUGO SONG 100%. Mourning lost friendship, but recognizing that you’re individuals and your decisions are your own, even if they turn you away from the ones you love. All with a lingering undertone of bitterness. Mista definitely plays this on his guitar when he’s alone and thinks about Fugo. Yeah that’s all.

5. Least favourite moment and why

I have several, but I think they can all be summarised as "lost character potential moments". I think my least favourite moment is Kitt's treatment in Slithercorp (and overall). She's quite literally set up to fail against Artha, and is made to accept it in this very episode :') Kitt deserved better, and after scrapping the love interest route the writers were definitely fumbling to do anything with her. Runner ups to this are: Pyrrah's track record lol. Supposedly the leader of the crew with the cleanest record yet she hastily scraps her integrity for power/greed. Other one is Word mag clawing Moordryd, his verbal abuse and general uncaring of throwing Moord into dangerous scenarios (Really? Sending him without protection into the shadow track after talking about your beloved dead wife???). It irks me that the direction the series was going was that Moord and his dad might reconcile with Armeggadon's arrival, but the way his character is made to be so plainly vile to Moord is so frustrating. (Lol I was a Word Paynn Hater until fairly recently, if you would believe it X3) 6. Do you ship any pairings?

Psft. My whole blog is largely dedicated to Word/Zulay, because it's ripe with storytelling possibility! Partners in crime, till death do they part, leaving the one left behind with survivor's guilt that he channels into unhealthy obsession to succeed in her memory???? Ooft. Plus, I get to have fun with fleshing out life in all levels of Dragon City. It kills me when I think of Word meeting Zulay in his lowest moments (poor and struggling after his exile) and her helping him out. Then they build a whole tower from bottom up together only for her to die before their family even starts. It's almost tragically poetic.

I very rarely ship anything seriously, but I was moved and inspired enough by these two evil lovebirds to make an entire 2 minute long animatic of them to Clair De Lune. So yeah. Beautiful but terrible tragedy is how I love describing them. Other pairings I ship... I'm not too big on any tbh! Possibly Cain/Moordryd, Artha/Moordryd, Parm/Artha? Connor/Word is another fascinating one, I'd love to see someone write an au where they're still besties and are BAMFs in stopping Meggy. Otherwise, toxic exes is fun too! It's fun because there's a lot of potential writing about how the Priesthood really affected them both (A cult like community training and indoctrinating children about war?? Oof.)

7. How'd you get into DB?

I watched it on Astro Ceria as a 6 or 7 year old, and it got me to draw my first ever fanart comic in a notebook. This led to me picking up drawing! I don't have anything from that time, but the character/shape designs (All largely Peter Detina's hard work!) were extremely influential to my style.

I always have this like. One song that i listen to on one of my playlists, that without fail i imagine this animation/animatic idea with the sides in a winged au, doing some kind of tag-team olympic-like race of some sort, where it involves a ton of dofferent kinds of obstacles that need to be maneuvered around with expert skill, speed, and grace(each being separately counted with their own points catagory to add together for each team's final score) and like

(Ive also had this animatic idea since before janus and remus were revealed so they werent originally imagined as part of this idea but I can make it work just fine)

It starts off pretty simple with Patton leading the take off of the race, as his area of specialty is flying with grace(hes pretty clumsy otherwise, outside of flying, for contrast) and so it starts off with pretty visual manuveres that involve a seriously practiced skill to pull off, both while flying at a quick speed, and while flying around other contestants, but its the shortest part of the race because his not high on stamina to begin with

Then he taps Romans shoulder as he lands and then Roman takes off to the second portion of the race, quick reaction time, agility, and strong manuverability. There are lots more obstacles to avoid or pass through in this catagory, and Roman has large wings so many expect him to struggle with manuverability, but of course he nails it, able to dip low to pass through a small hoop without brushing against it and then lauch high to crest over a bar and then dip low, all at a high speed. Logan is already running for take off as Roman is slowing to land when they high five the trade off

Logan's wings are small and agile, and his area of skill involves quick thinking, agility, and problem solving skills. Some obstacles have false leads that could lose one time as they have to turn back from dead ends or go through even more complicated parts of the course, some are angled weirdly and require an altered version of a vommon manuver to pass through, so on and so forth, and at this point their team is gaining a bit of a lead when he passes the touch to Janus.

Janus's wings are partially damaged, and thought he can still fly just fine, hes more skilled with graceful moves like patton, but the twist is that these moves and maneuveres have to make it through certain obstacles, like hoops and weaving back and forth between a line of metal poles to count for points. He manages it alright but some other winged player, a bad sport, just barely whips past and against the tip his bad wing and disbalances him a bit, loosing their team precious seconds as he has to struggle to right himself to tag Remus in on time

Remus has to focus not to go after the bad sport and instead puts all his effort into the next course, which infact is the one course of the race where flying isnt the main goal, its allowed, but flying 100% of it makes the whole course more difficult. Its infact more of a parcore course, with passing targets to hit and checkpoint flags to grab as you pass, wall climbing up tight walls that are too narrow to fly up and dropping down slopes and weaving between pillars and corners that are too tight to safely pull ones wings out. This, Remus dominates at. Once hes finally out of the course, he tags Virgil, and now their team is on the final stretch of the race.

(This is also where the music of the song starts the crescendo before the pause before beat drops)

Virgil, who is the newest and smallest of the team, is nervous, and hasn't had long to prove to their team that he's good. This is his first year truly participating in an event like this too so his teammates are all gathering at the finish line, waiting in anticipation. Virgil has never boasted about his talents, and struggles to practice with them because his expertise is speed, agility and stamina, and the practice required for that is much more solo. So the team doesnt really know what to expect from him because this last part of the course is the most difficult for anyone with wings in general, even those who train for years because this final course makes it easy to lose speed and stamina fast, and its very common for contestants wings to give out or cramp up mid flight from the strain of keeping a steady altitude, making it a very dangerous drop into the stretch of ocean below.(not to worry, as theres stand-by medical teams to immediately rescue those who drop, and the worst that comes of these is usually strained/sprained wing muscles and shoulder muscles and some bruising.)

its a very long stretch of 'track' from the starting point being at the drop off of an extremely large cliff(the entire race has been using each course to climb up a mountain section by section) right into the ocean, and the entire stretch of flight is completely over deep water, and the finish line is on a large cruiz ship to kick off celebrations once the race is over.

And well, Virgil is small, shorter than his rival contestants, and kind of stout but not by much. But this entire time up till this point you never see his wings, theyre a pitch black lump on his back, naturally pulled tight from anxiety, while the other contestants are stretching their large and small wings out for the long dangerous flight ahead of them.

And just as Remus comes into view, Virgil takes a deep breath and relaxes, though his wings stay pulled tight. The trade off from Remus to Virgil is smooth, though a few other contestants are already taking off ahead of him, but he pays it no mind.

The strip of land he starts at is long enough to get up to a running speed, but instead of leaping up to unfurl his wings and take off or glide off, he takes the entire strip of land to sprint to the cliff,

And then he dives.

And by this point there are snippets of judges and contestants and his team gasping or staring in shock as this is not a normal strat and is infact extremely dangerous for even the most skilled of strong flyers. And Virgil has never particularly come off as a strong or skilled flyer, cautious and fast yes, but skilled?

(This is where the songs tempo starts to pick up to the fullest part of the first beat drops crescendo before lulling-)

And to top it all off, this clif is at least a mile or two high. For the first mile down, first still doesnt open his wings, but instead of looking panicked, he looks calm, his eyes closed and his arms at his side as the wind whips through his face, but its a perfect dive, and the wind fails to throw him off course like people expect it to.

And finally, just as it looks like hes about to dive headfirst into the ocean at full speed, his body doing a few twirls,

His long raven black wings unfurl-

And he soars.

(And the second beat drop hits and erupts into a dramatically energized beat)

Whatever the distance was that he fell behind the other contestants from the time it took to drop is easily lost as the momentum of his drop and the pushing currents of the ocean air send him rocketing towards the finishline, barely losing momentum the way his opponents do with their flapping while his sleek wings cut and glide through the air currents; every once in a while tipping his wings one way the other to catch on the ocean surface to maintain balance

Before you know it, he's close to the finish line of the race, and it takes one solid angles flap to pull him up enough to fly through the finish line with first place at a speed unheard of for this kind of race course, still meters ahead of the contestant to get second place.

Everyones in awe, people are cheering, and Virgil is smiling bashfully, and his team croud around him and are complimenting him

And, of course, because of Virgil's near world record-breaking preformance, their team wins.

Hey everyone! We hope you’re all excited for ZFAW, and to honor (ha!) ZFAW’s commitment to supporting and celebrating fan content creators in the Zutara fandom, we’re going to be rolling out a series of interviews with well-known and widely-beloved content creators over the next few weeks. We’ve got artists and fanfiction authors, some names you recognize as well as a few phenomenal up-and-coming talents, and we can’t wait for you to meet them all!

Tell us about how you came to ship Zutara. What does this ship mean to you?

To use one of my favourite lines from Jane Austen, "I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look, or the words which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun." I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender when I was just a tiny little baby child at 10 turning 11 years old. I do know for a fact, however, that Zutara had simply always been it for me from the very beginning. I believe it was during "The Storm" that I just knew that there was more to Zuko than what was at surface level. As a brown girl trying to make her way into positions of leadership as a child, Katara's strength, rage, and bravery paved the way for me to survive in the way I have. As a survivor of child abuse myself, Zuko remaining kind and gentle and good was of paramount importance. Together, they were the joining of two souls that met in conflict and chaos but through merit, equal standing, and forgiveness, they were exactly what each other needed. They are not opposites nor two halves of a whole; they are the sky and between them is only the world. Everyone has the need to feel truly seen and understood as they are by another, and Zuko and Katara do exactly that. Other stories come and go, but they're the story I come back to and will continue to call home every single time. I will never tire of them.

2. What inspires you to create Zutara fanworks?

 I've been a professional writer for the last ten years. It's my job to imagine and create stories. I also love consuming stories through every medium possible. The well never dries when you keep it full to the brim. When you do the work I do and you consume as many stories as I do and you've lived a long enough life and paid attention to the life around you as I have trained to do, to be inspired is second nature. For Zutara, however, these are voices that have lived in my brain for fifteen years. When I get an idea for a story, literally any story, it's like my subconscious is naturally attuned to their dynamic that every prompt I come up with is automatically a Zutara prompt. Such is the way. If I ever publish a novel and/or lead my own show/movie, you can bet that it's probably Zutara if you squint.

3. Be selfish - if you could request one fanwork based on your own art/fanfic, what would it be? What would you absolutely love to see someone create? 

To this day, "i'm still here" is probably the single greatest thing I've ever done in my whole stupid life. It would be the greatest honour to see my work interpreted visually. Genuinely, I'd love to see certain scenes as comic panels or something. Katara's realisation at the beach over who she is and she thinks about Yue, her mother, and her grandmother. Zuko and Katara's mutual understanding. The scene that started it all: baby Zuko taking care of baby Azula at the beach. Katara and Iroh talking in Chapter 7. Toph meeting fear for the first time. The entire ending of Chapter 6. As of writing this, I haven't updated the sequel yet but I would love to see visual interpretations of incoming Original Characters because they've been fun to create. I don't even know. If anyone wants to draw something from "i'm still here", I would like to see it. Please let me see it. I will cry. But also, I would like to see visual interpretation of Zutara in my modern quarantine pandemic AU because I would like to see long haired 28 year old Zuko wearing autumn-wear in a public park filled with flowers with 26 year old Katara basically wearing anything I wear because I am projecting in that story for a reason. 

4. Any words for people who are new to the fandom and/or nervous about sharing their work for the first time?Buddy, we're all just a bunch of nerds who are creating things for our enjoyment and the enjoyment of likeminded individuals. Do things for you and because they bring you joy, first and foremost. Everything else can be ignored if you want to ignore it. You're doing great. 

5. What is your favorite Zutara-related thing you’ve made and why is it special to you?

 Again, "i'm still here" is literally the greatest thing I've ever done in my life. Something I get commended for a fair amount with ISH is how I handled Zuko being a child abuse survivor, and his conflicting emotions with his violent abusers because he's still a child who wants his family to love him. That comes from an extremely personal place for me and it means the world to know that other survivors out there resonated so well with it. Also, Masterchef Zuko with that chicken adobo meant me getting a LOT of people saying they tried out the recipe themselves and I can feel my grandmother radiate with pride over knowing I'm so great a cook that I can convince people to want my dish just by writing about it. I'm so proud of everything I did with ISH. I worked really hard on it and I'm so happy to know it means a lot to other people too. 

6. What’s an idea for a fanwork that you have but haven’t gotten around to making?

I have this one modern AU involving dogs that I've put on the backburner since 2017. One day... one day!!! I'm a bit of a workaholic, though, so most of the things I want to do, I just do 'em.
