Attending couples therapy while there was an unofficial war in the city was quite strange but then again, this whole marriage was strange.
“Before we end our session,” Dr. Raynor said. “How are the intimacy journals going?”
You and Bucky exchanged glances before you both turned to her.
“They’re going well,” you said. “Mine is more detailed than Bucky’s, I also created a whole system to make it easier for you to read, would you like to read it now?”
“Not yet,” she said. “I think I’ll wait for you two to feel more comfortable with writing it down for a while. When you said a system…?”
“She gives it stars,” Bucky said helpfully and you nodded.
“I also got like, a color system,” you added. “I categorized it by each color like, how I feel, how I think he feels, how did we communicate before, during and after—”
“I can’t believe we didn’t consider your teacher fantasy,” Bucky muttered and your jaw dropped.
“I do not have a teacher fantasy!”
“Then why are you trying to get an A in therapy?”
“I’m glad you brought it up Bucky,” Dr. Raynor said and you gasped.
“But I don’t have a teacher fantasy!”
“No not that,” Dr Raynor said. “We said you would try a fantasy within the week. Did you?”
You nodded. “Yeah.”
“How was it?”
“I think I’ll let Bucky describe it,” you said, shooting him a look and his eyes widened.
“Charm!”
“What?” you said. “Think of it as revenge for that teacher student thing. Go on, tell her.”
You and Bucky had decided on what you would tell her before the session but judging by the look on his face, Bucky had assumed you would be the one who would do the talking about that. You tried to bite down your smirk and cleared your throat, motioning at Dr. Raynor.
“Go on.”
“We uh…” Bucky cleared his throat. “Yeah, we tried a fantasy.”
“Which was?”
“We did the public thing.”
“Public thing,” she repeated and Bucky sat up straighter.
“Had sex in the back alley of the club,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck and you nodded, smiling at her.
“The thrill of getting caught,” Dr. Raynor commented. “How was it?”
“Charm?”
“She asked you, not me,” you said, still smiling and Bucky cleared his throat again.
“Yeah it was great.”
“And Y/N?”
“I gave it five stars,” you said. “And used my purple glittery pen while describing it on the journal.”
“Your guess is as good as mine about what the purple glittery pen means,” Bucky told her and you heaved a sigh.
“Afterwards on the other hand,” you said. “Yellow pen, three stars.”
“Jesus Christ,” Bucky said, running a hand over his face and Dr. Raynor frowned slightly.
“Why is that?”
“I happen to think aftercare is important. Bucky disagrees.”
“I don’t—that’s a lie,” Bucky pointed out. “Charm, to repeat, I cannot give you pillowtalk in the back alley of a club.”
“See?” you motioned at him while keeping your eyes on Dr. Raynor. “Three stars.”
Dr. Raynor smiled at you before checking her watch.
“We’ll continue next week,” she said. “Keep writing on the journals.”
You nodded and stood up from the couch, Bucky doing the same.
“Have a nice day Dr. Raynor,” you told her and walked out of the office with Bucky following you. When you stepped outside, he let out a breath.
“Well that was something,” he said, checking his phone and you grinned.
“See? Told you she’d buy it.”
“Did you have to give me three stars?”
“It wasn’t for your hypothetical performance,” you reminded him. “And you said it yourself you’re not a pillowtalk guy.”
“Yeah that whole thing is bullshit.”
You arched a brow.
“I feel sorry for every girlfriend you’ve ever had,” you said. “Lunch?”
He shot you an apologetic smile.
“I have a meeting,” he said. “What with the attacks lately, can’t be too careful.”
“Ah,” you said and waved a hand in the air. “Sure, yeah. I’ll see you at dinner then?”
“Yeah,” he said. “I’ll drop you off. Home or Becca’s place?”
“Becca is busy, I’ll just walk around for a bit,” you said and he hummed, then motioned at the bodyguards waiting by the car. You rolled your eyes at him.
“Seriously?”
“Yes seriously,” he told you. “Told you, can’t be too careful.”
You groaned. “I hate you so much right now.”
He let out a chuckle, then pressed a kiss on top of your head.
“See you at home princess,” he said and walked to the car to get in. You offered the bodyguards a small smile and started walking, fishing your phone out of your pocket in the meantime.
It rang only twice before Sarah picked up.
“You do realize that you calling me every two hours is a bit of an overkill?” she asked and you grinned.
“I’m worried about you, sue me.”
“Y/N…”
“I just want to make sure you’re okay!” you defended yourself. “I mean, after that night.”
“Everything is fine,” she assured you. “I’m alright. Besides, Sam is already pulling that overprotective bullshit, please don’t start as well.”
“Fine, fine…” you grumbled. “But you are being careful?”
“I will hang up on you.”
“No!” you protested, making her laugh.
“How was therapy?”
“It was alright,” you muttered. “Went as expected. Do you think I have a teacher fantasy?”
Sarah hummed. “Nah, you just have a praise kink.”
You stopped dead in your tracks, your jaw dropping. “Sarah!”
“What, you asked!”
“I do not have—”
“Please, it's very obvious,” she said and you let out a breath.
“Unbelievable,” you said. “I was going to ask you out for lunch but…”
“Does the lunch include me telling you what a good girl you’ve been?”
“I will hang up on you right now,” you said, making her laugh.
“Can’t do lunch, I’m busy,” she said. “Things are insane at the hospital lately, sorry.”
“It’s fine,” you said. “I guess if no one is meeting me for lunch, I have no choice but spend a bunch of money on bunch of clothes.”
“That’s the spirit,” she said. “I’ll talk to you later?”
“Yep, be careful!” you told her and hung up, then turned to the bodyguards to let them know you would be going shopping but out of the corner of your eye, you saw a familiar black car pulling over. The bodyguards stepped closer to you but you heaved a sigh when your gaze fell on the plate of the car.
“It’s fine, it’s my dad’s men,” you told them as two men stepped out of the car.
“Ma’am.”
“Luke,” you said. “Brian. Long time no see.”
“Your father would like to talk to you,” Luke said and you pulled your brows together.
“My father is aware of the fact that phones exist, no?”
They didn’t reply and you threw your head back, then motioned at your bodyguards.
“Come along then,” you told them, approaching the car. “We’re paying a visit to my dear father.”
                                             *
Of course you knew your father wouldn’t approve of you going to the Wilson territory right after it got attacked but even you had to admit, you hadn’t expected him to send his men to pick you up to take you to the company. As you walked into the familiar skyscraper, you could feel the nervousness spreading over you but you frowned to yourself, rolling your shoulders back.
The days of you doing anything and everything for his approval was behind you.
After taking the elevator, you walked past the waiting room and your father’s assistant smiled at you.
“He’s been expecting you.”
“Lovely,” you said and knocked on the door.
“Come in!”
You opened the door and stepped inside.
“Father,” you said. “Your phone is broken or something?”
“Or something,” he said sternly, giving you a reprimanding look from where he was sitting behind his desk. “Sit down please?”
You bit inside your cheek, then made your way to plop down on the seat across from his desk.
“Nice to see you too,” you muttered and he let out a breath.
“Y/N, what do you think you’re doing?”
“You mean other than getting picked up off the street by your people?” you asked. “I was shopping.”
“No, the other night,” he said. “I hear Bucky took you to the Wilson territory after the attack.”
“Bucky didn’t have to take me anywhere considering I’m not a goddamn pet,” you said tersely and he shot you a glare.
“Y/N.”
“And I’m a grown woman, father,” you reminded him. “I don’t have to explain to you where I go or when.”
“You’re my daughter,” he reminded you back. “My daughter who seems to love walking into danger.”
“It wasn’t dangerous.”
“I don’t know what Bucky has shared with you so far about these attacks but—”
“He shared more with me than you did,” you couldn’t help but point out. “HYDRA was the one who attacked the Wilson territory just like other territories.”
He ran a hand over his face.
“Sweetheart,” he said. “The city is very dangerous lately even without you rushing to places under attack. What if something happened on the way there? What if they weren’t done with the attacks? What if there was an ambush?”
“What am I supposed to do?” you asked back. “Stay at home?”
“You’re supposed to stay safe,” he insisted and you crossed your arms, leaning back.
“I am safe.”
“Are you though?” he asked you. “Because that right there was reckless. Your aunt agrees.”
“Of course she does,” you murmured and he drummed his fingertips on the desk.
“I’m worried about you,” he said. “So does she. So does Ian.”
“Ian doesn’t give two fucks about me much like his mother,” you said, making him run a hand over his face.
“Language.”
You licked your lips, not even commenting on it and he let out a breath.
“Do you still carry a gun?”
“Of course I do,” you said. “What am I, an amateur? Ian is the one who is too cocky to carry a gun, everyone knows—did you seriously call me here just so that you could reprimand me?”
“I called you here because I wanted to see you,” he said. “Can you blame me? You’ve been angry at me for a while now, we barely had the chance to talk just the two of us.”
You rolled your eyes, averting your gaze. “I’m not angry.”
“Aren’t you?”
You swallowed the bitterness at the back of your throat.
“You’re the boss of the family,” you forced yourself to say. “Who you pick as your heir is up to you.”
“I’ve never wanted the business to get between us,” he insisted. “You know that. Family is forever, business is just business.”
No.
Not really.
That wasn’t what you heard growing up, at least. Family and business were inseparable, everyone in this line of work knew it.
You pursed your lips together and shrugged your shoulders.
“I know,” you lied through your teeth and a silence fell upon you before you stole a look at him. “And…are you being safe? What with these attacks and everything?”
He smiled at you softly and waved a hand in the air.
“Always am.”
Worry churned your insides as you nibbled on your lip, your eyes darting over his face.
“Do you promise?”
“I promise,” he assured you and took a deep breath. “I’m not dying before you and Bucky give me a grandchild.”
A small laugh escaped from your lips and you shook your head slightly.
“I thought you said that’d make you look old?”
“I could be a young grandfather,” he pointed out. “I’ll hire a stylist and all that nonsense. Perhaps get a tattoo as well, or dye my hair.”
“Dye your hair to—”
“Sir,” the assistant knocked on the door. “Your one o’clock is here.”
You looked over your shoulder, then pushed yourself off the seat.
“That’s my cue to leave,” you said. “By the way, is auntie back because she had another breakup?”
He rolled his eyes.
“You didn’t hear it from me,” he said. “But apparently they had quite the fallout.”
“Meaning?”
“She burned his car before coming back here.”
“Figures,” you said after a beat. “Well, I gotta get back to shopping. I’ll see you later then?”
“Please do,” he said. “And pick up my calls so that I won’t have to send people after you, hm?”
“I’ll think about it!” you said, and walked out of his office to go to the elevator with the bodyguards following you.
                                                    *
Judging by the personal bodyguards patrolling the hallway, Bucky was already home by the time you returned home. You smiled at Hannah as you made your way through the hallway, then opened the door, peeking your head in.
“Buck?”
“Hey babe!” he called out, no doubt for the bodyguards to hear as well and you bit back a smile, then stepped in and closed the door behind you.
“Hey,” you said, “You’re home early?”
“Yeah, one of the meetings got cancelled,” he said as you stepped into the kitchen, then gasped at the brand name on the takeout paper bag.
“Yay!”
He chuckled and came closer to kiss you on the head, making your heart skip a beat.
“Yeah, your favorite.”
“Did you also get the—”
“Chocolate souffle from the same place, yes,” he said. “In the fridge.”
You grinned at him. “Five stars.”
“Yeah keep that in mind,” he said, grinning back before pulling your seat. You let out a laugh and fixed yourself in an exaggerated manner before sitting down and pulling the bag to yourself, then took out the box.
“I really don’t think it’s as good as you claim it is,” Bucky pointed out and you glared at him as you grabbed your fork.
“You take that back about my sweet and sour duck.”
Alpine jumped on the counter and you clicked your tongue.
“Alpine, no it’s bad for you.”
“You know you don’t have to explain that to her every single time we eat, right?” Bucky asked and you shrugged your shoulders.
“It’d be rude,” you said as you put Alpine back on the floor. “So, how was the meeting?”
“It was good,” he said. "Talked to Sam.”
“How is he?”
“Pretty pissed off,” he said. “Can’t blame him.”
“Me neither,” you muttered and he nodded.
“And now we know what shipment your father put Ian in charge of.”
Your head shot up. “What?”
A lazy smile pulled at Bucky’s lips.
“And it’s coming next week,” he said. “The perfect time for him to prove himself, or…”
“Or fuck it up,” you finished his sentence and he shrugged his shoulders.
“Or that.”
You bit inside your cheek, your heart pacing in your throat.
“Bucky,” you said. “It’s going to be dangerous.”
“Mm hm.”
“I mean it,” you insisted. “Are you sure about this?”
He tilted his head, that mischievous light still playing in his blue eyes.
“I’ll do whatever you want me to, Charm,” he said. “You know that already.”
You could feel the happy fluttering in your stomach and you let yourself smile back at him, then took a deep breath.
“Alright,” you said. “Let’s show the city who the real heir should be then.”

like a doll on display in the window of a toy store, you felt 5 pairs of predatory eyes lying on your almost bare figure as you sat on a scrawny little bed in a private room of your favourite nightclub. what a strange set of men. the thought ran through your mind as you stared up at them, studying the group.
there was a drunk-eyed stoner dressed in baggy clothes that held a muscular figure, a dark-haired metalhead wearing a cropped shirt that showed off a toned torso, a normal-looking man who appeared more off-putting the longer you looked at him, a greasy hippie who was already greedily palming himself, and a short-haired man with a glowing, throbbing rod concealed in his jeans.
you shyly bit your lip, fidgeting with your thumbs as you thought about what was in store for you. this wasn’t what you initially expected during a night out at the club, but you couldn't deny the adrenaline rushing through your veins. you were wearing a pair of silk panties and thigh-high black socks. the first man to take note of your nervous disposition was the stoner, who reached out a hand to gently stroke your cheek with his thumb.
clyde’s gentle touch made you shiver. “well aren’t you just the cutest thing?” he slipped his thumb between your lips, making you suck on it. “i promise not to hurt you tonight, ‘kay?” while his words were meant to bring you comfort, you could only tremble as the four others clearly had intentions of doing the opposite.
your eyes darted around, spotting the hippie whipping out his cannon. your pupils dilated as 12-inches of meat dangled in the corner of your eye. your clit throbbed at the thought of his pipe abusing your internal organs, beating them to a pulp. and you caught a glimpse of that dream in reality as he hopped on the bed, lifting up your ass and pressing his hips against you and letting you feel the sensation of his throbbing cock through the dampening fabric of your panties.
three belts clanged as they hit the ground in unison. the three others, euronymous, jack and tyler, took their positions on the bed with you, all five of them surrounding you. euronymous firmly grabs your jaw, making you look up at him. you couldn’t help but whimper quietly, from the sight of him and the feeling of kappa starting to toy with your pussy.
clyde rested back against the creaky bed’s headboard, pulling out his erection that was already smeared with precum. tyler sat next to him and as he pulled out his dick, your life momentarily flashed before your eyes. his shaft was unlike anyone else’s in the room. from the balls, it was a shimmery sapphire blue and it faded into a pretty purple at the tip (like this). it was so thick that you tried to wrap your hand around it, failing.
a harsh slap landed down on your ass, making yelp. jack’s hand left a sting as kappa cooed mockingly. “aw did that hurt, sugar?” euronymous tore your panties off of you, tossing the useless strip of fabric to the side as he massaged your hard clit with his thumb. you arched your back, stuffing your face into the mattress until a hand grabbed you by your hair.
“don’t hide that pretty mouth,” tyler grinned, “we’re gonna put you to good use, baby.” clyde flipped his hair out of his face, teasing your lips with the tip of his cock. you eagerly took it in, taking a second to adjust to his size. clyde let out a low groan, already bucking his hips slowly into your mouth.
tyler’s alien cock glowed with arousal as he watched your throat bulge from being filled up. you brought your hand to his dick, it being much colder than clyde’s. you lifted you mouth off of his, with lips being connected by strings of saliva as you slowly took tyler’s tentacle into your mouth. his hand found the back of your head, gently guiding it down. “yeah… nice and easy.”
then they all went at full force. euro, jack and kappa all slammed themselves into you simultaneously. tears flooded your eyes as you felt two cocks stretch out your pussy and one fill up your asshole. right from the jump, you were already gushing on all of them, the wetness of your cunt saturating their rods.
clyde and tyler took off the training wheels, now making you take both lengths into your little mouth at the same time. you struggled, but your sobs provided enough spit to help them go down easily. both men tossed their head back in unison from the feeling of their girths rubbing together.
though you couldn’t see, jack was taking care of your asshole while kappa and euro dealt with your painfully tight pussy. jack slowly massaged your sore hole as he slowly moved himself in and out of you. “does that hurt, sweetie?” his hand had a gentle grip of your waist and he gave it a little squeeze. both your holes clenched, and jack took this as a sign to be a little gentler with you.
“just give me a little kick if you can’t take it. but i know you can. such a good girl…” jack’s words turned your limbs into jelly. he cocked his head to the side slightly, dislodging a few locks from his bun as he pushed himself in your tight muscle, the vibrations of your groans running down tyler and clyde’s bodies.
kappa may have had the size, but euronymous was carrying the speed. he was twice, maybe three times as fast as everyone else one, your ass bouncing each time he slammed himself back into you. he muttered the dirtiest things of all, making a knot tie in your stomach. “goddamnit, you’re tight as a fuckin’ virgin. but we all know that’s not true, don’t we?”
you felt your cheeks burn with humiliation, much to his dismay. you ground your hips against them, cum dripping down the inside of your thighs. you had already cum a few times, but how would they know? your mouth was completely stuffed, preventing you from getting a single word out.
clyde reached into the pocket of his cargos which were inches away from him on the bed. he took out a cigarette, lighting it and taking a long drag, eyes locked on you as your spit could his cock in a thin layer.
while clyde was calm and collected, tyler was completely losing it. his hips uncontrollably bucked into your mouth as he gripped the bedsheets so tight that his knuckles went pale. his cock was illuminated like a glowstick, throbbing and oozing as it began to drip with a neon green substance.
as the taste hit your tongue, you immediately felt like gagging. but once you got over the burning sizzle of his cum, it began to taste faintly like green apple bubble gum. you swallowed every last drop that he gave you, desperately deepthroating his length to get more of his solution. then the gates of hell broke loose. he couldn’t hold back anymore and he dumped a bucket load of bioluminescent cum into your digestive track.
it erupted out of him like lava, hot and sizzling as you coughed up green bubbles. clyde burst into a fit of laughter as he shoved himself back into you. “what a party trick, dude.” clyde grabbed a fistful of your hair, aggressively fucking your throat, completely losing control of himself.
you gazed up at him through tear-filled eyes as your lips swelled around him. he’d always been a sucker for “blowjob eyes”, so with a few more lazy thrusts he shot hot strings of his seed onto your face, painting on you like you were a pretty picture.
as you received your facial, kappa exclaimed out a string of curses, as you feel your pussy swell as it filled with cum. euronymous’ balls slapped against your clit as he pounded into you, his fingernails digging into your ass as he lost himself in this moment of pure bliss. as hit orgasm hit like a ton of bricks, he yanked himself out of you, pumping himself quickly as shooting his load all over your arched back.
jack took this opportunity to give it his all, now fucking you rapidly in the ass. you cried into the mattress, loads of cum squirting out of your swollen pussy as he destroyed your insides. “o-oh yeah… good fucking girl…” he reached a hand down and started rubbing messy circles on your puffy clit, making your ass clench as he reached his climax.
he groaned deeply, his body shaking enough the snap the elastic band holding his hair up, sending his full strands all over his face. he used you to milk every last drop out of himself before pulling out and examining your sore hole.
you were a total mess, tears running down your face as they all released you at once. you panted heavily, the room spinning as your eyes fluttered shut. your pussy throbbed from the overstimulation, your entire feeling satisfied despite how worn out you were. in this moment, you felt cold leather draping over your bare body, euronymous’ jacket. clyde lit the small candle on the bedside table with his lighter to keep you warm, jack took one of the hair ties on his wrist and pulled your hair out of your face, putting it into a pretty ponytail, tyler pulled a pink lollipop out of his pocket, putting it in your gentle grip. and kappa’s contribution was a soft kiss on the cheek.
they left you in the cool, drafty room, leaving you with an aching body but a very fulfilled heart.
(little drawing of the position yall are in.)

Still Into You
pairings: hazel callahan x reader
warnings: obliviousness, literally so oblivious that its frustrating, bad writing
key: *** - time skip, faux - fake
summary: The Fight Club has been trying to get Hazel and Y/N forever, so when Y/N has a concert with her band, the Fight Club tries to bring the two together..
Tumblr media
For as long as the fight club could remember, Hazel and Y/N had been hopelessly in love with each other, but the two were clearly, completely oblivious. Really, it stressed everyone out. No matter what they tried, the two idiots could not get together. They had tried everything. They planted fake love letters, they set up real love letters, they arranged blind dates with each other, they even tried locking them in a room (subtly of course), but nothing seemed to work.
“Nothing is working,” PJ complained to the group. They were having a secret meeting without Hazel and Y/N. “This has gone on for far too long,” PJ said, the group nodding in agreement. “I mean, at least Y/N tries. Hazel’s the problem.”
“No, remember when Hazel got Y/N coffee,” Brittany pointed out.
“She got all of us coffee.”
“Oh,” Brittany said dejectedly.
“Yeah, she was only going to get it for Y/N, but she chickened out last minute,” Josie recalled. The group collectively face palmed. “Ok guys, we have to come up with something.” As the group sat in silence trying to come up with a new plan, a loud gasp came from Stella-Rebecca.
“Oh my gosh I totally forgot, Y/N has a band concert and she invited all of us!” The girls started chattering excited as Stella-Rebecca started passing out the tickets before Annie clapped her hands.
“That’s it,” she exclaimed. The group turned to her in confusion. “This is how we get them together! We get Y/N to sing a song to confess her feelings, and we help Hazel know that she’s singing it for her. It’s perfect!” Unconsciously, the group mentally simultaneously agreed that Annie was the smartest of the group.
“Great idea,” Isabel gushed. “So how are we gonna do this?” The girls huddled around Annie, ready to here the game plan.
“Ok, so here’s what we’re gonna do..”
***
“Hey are you good over there,” the lead singer asked. Y/N nodded, nervously tapping her guitar. The fight club had told her to sing a love song, and look directly at Hazel to confess. In all honesty, Y/N would do anything just for Hazel to finally realize her feelings. This was the last resort, so she would give it her all.
“Ready guys? We’re on in five,” the drummer notified the group. Nodding, they got in position. Taking a deep breath, Y/N reassured herself that she could do it.
While Y/N was getting ready, the fight club found their seats, putting Hazel directly where Y/N would be able to view her easily and vice versa.
“So Hazel, you ready to see your girlfriend,” Sylvie teased. Blushing, Hazel shook her head in denial.
“She’s not my girlfriend,” Hazel said with a faux scowl. I wish, Hazel thought to herself.
“With how she talks about you, I’m honestly surprised,” Annie enticed. Annie was sure that if Hazel had puppy ears, they would be perked right now. Hook, line, and sinker.
“How does she talk about me,” Hazel asked curiously, trying to play it off smoothly. The group subtly gave each other knowing glances before Annie answered the oblivious girl.
“She always says, ‘Hazel’s so pretty’, ‘Hazel’s so organized’, ‘she’s so cool when she fights’. Seems like she really likes you.” Blushing, Hazel looked off into the distance. Maybe Y/N did like her as more than a friend? No, of course not, she think’s of Hazel as ‘just a friend’. a/n: fucking adrien agreste vibes
“I think Y/N told me that she would be singing the last song specifically for you, Hazel,” Isabel said slyly. Head snapping towards Isabel, she bombarded the poor girl with questions.
“Really? For me? You’re not joking?” Isabel blinked before answering.
“Yes, yes, and no,” Isabel smiled. A huge smile settled on Hazel’s face before the light’s dimmed. The group focused their attention to the stage, where their friend stood on stage. As the audience applauded loudly at the band’s entrance, Hazel clapped the loudest.
The band made their way through the songs, until finally they were at the last one.
“Before we finish up with our last song,” Y/N said with a bright smile. “I wanna dedicate this last one to someone I’ve been trying to tell them, but they’re just a little bit oblivious.” With a nervous smile, Y/N stared directly at Hazel, and motioned for the band to start. The main singer took a step back for Y/N to sing. They started playing and Hazel could recognize the song, ‘Still Into You’, by Paramore. Oh my god, Hazel thought. This was their song. The song playing when they met. The song playing when both girls fell for each other. Theirs. As Y/N sang, her gaze never left Hazel’s.
“Even after all this time,” Y/N sang, looking at Hazel. “I’m into you. Baby, not a day goes by, that I’m not into you!” As they finished the song, a huge applause came out, Hazel’s mouth dropped. ‘I love you Haze’, Y/N mouthed. Hazel could feel her heart beating hard in her chest and she finally mouthed the words back.
‘I love you too’.
A/N: @deadgirlwalkingtaylorsversion wrote a post asking about the reader confessing unconsciously during a concert, but I tried putting my own little twist to it (hope that’s ok). I’m taking requests if y’all have any! Hope you all liked it!

When you woke up, Jax’s side of the bed was empty. There was a note scribbled for you on the side table, ‘At the Clubhouse if you need me’. For the first time ever, you were grateful he was gone. It was too hard lying to Jax.
You decided it was best to pull yourself together and head to Diosa. You spent some time searching for the sexy dress The President had demanded. You settled on a long sleeve black mini dress, just short enough to do while still covering your modesty up top. You paired it with some strappy black heels and the largest leather jacket you owned. It was Jax’s old jacket, one he had worn when The Club’s cuttes were banned in Charming for a period of time. You loved the way it was just the right amount of oversized, and he melted at the sight each time you wore it. It felt like it was shielding you, aiding somewhat in knowing that you’d just dressed up for your blackmailer.
As you brushed your hair, something stopped you at the vanity. You placed the hairbrush on the surface and began searching the lower drawer. You pulled out a small handgun that Jax left there for emergencies. You had never needed it before, and though you were hoping you wouldn’t today, something told you it was best to have it nearby. You checked the clip, noting every bullet was in its place before you shoved the thick metal piece inside the jacket pocket. You checked yourself out in the mirror. While it looked as if you had nothing on you, the weight of the gun felt like it could drag you to the floor. You took one last look at yourself in the mirror, and debated if it was time to call Jax and find some kind of release from the torturous decision you were about to make. The urge to get your phone out was overwhelming, but then you remembered the threat from yesterday, Or your pretty President is going away for a long time.
Once you got to Diosa and greeted the girls on the desk, the magnitude of what you were about to do was creeping on you. The knowledge of what today may bring was crushing on your conscience like a ton of bricks. Protect The Club. Protect Jax. It was all you kept repeating in your mind as you went through the motions.
You were busy behind the bar when you heard the phone ring at the front desk. Your heart jolted as you prepared yourself for the reality of who was on the other side of it. Sofia answered the phone, before she called over to you behind the bar, “It’s for you, y/n.”
You knew it was him again. You felt stiff from the panic, but you knew that you had to speak to him again. You forced your legs to move beneath you, approaching Sofia and taking the phone from her hand.
You took a deep breath before holding it to your ear.
“Yes?”
“You ready for me, pretty lady?” His voice was eager and disturbing all at once.
“What time?”
He paused before he replied, “You’ve got one hour”, and the phone line dropped.
You placed the phone back on the holder, and beelined for your office. You burst through the door so harshly that it banged against the wall as it flew open. You paused when you realised Nero was waiting for you on the leather couch that sat across from your desk.
“You in a rush for something?”
Fuck.
“Gotta go meet Jax.”
“We need to talk about last night.”
You shuffled to your desk, taking your jacket off and tossing it over the back of your chair.
“I don’t have time now Nero”, you had to think of a reason why quickly, “I gotta get to the clubhouse.”
“Mandy told me about some letter we got. That phone call last night, that was the Vagos crew, wasn’t it?”
You didn’t respond, trying to ignore him as you tore through the drawers of your desk, pulling out an old cheque book.
“Please just let me figure this out, Nero.”
He cocked his head at you before he stood from the couch, coming closer and placing both his hands on your shoulders. He looked at the cheque book in your hands before he zeroed in on your face. His fingers dug into your skin beneath your dress, desperate to get through to you.
Nero was staring, pulling back at your charade with his eyes. “This ain’t no game, y/n. You gotta speak up.”
You collapsed on your office chair, exhausted from the constant lies you’d been trying to convince everyone of for the last 24 hours. You could feel the hard metal of the gun behind your back as it lay stagnant in your jacket over the chair. You placed your head on the desk, into your folded arms, in an attempt to hide.
“What the fuck is going on, y/n?”
You spoke into the hiding spot, hoping the shield of your arms would protect you. “If I tell you, Nero. I swear, you can’t tell the Club. Not Jax. Not anybody.” You lifted your head from the safety net you’d made yourself, watching for his reaction. You weren’t sure if telling him was a good idea or not, but you knew you weren’t leaving the office without giving him some kind of explanation.
He looked back at you wide-eyed, utterly confused at what could be so bad, so awful that you couldn’t tell The Club or Jax. But he wanted to help, and so he obliged. He walked backwards into the leather couch again, sitting down as he waited for you to confess to whatever you were keeping from him. “Not a word. But only if you talk. Now.”
You lit one of the cigarettes Jax had left in your office from the day before, inhaling the smoke deep into your core, and then you told him everything. You told him about the letter and the call, the demands and the dirt the crew had on SAMCRO. You told him how you had to go meet The Vagos President, now. He sat back down on the couch, contemplating the severity of what you were facing.
“Are you seriously going to meet this prick?”
You nodded to him anxiously, breathing smoke out from your lips. “I’m not letting The Club go down.”
“These aren’t the SONS, y/n”, Nero was shaking his head as he recounted memories of his time dealing with crews in South Cali. “These ain’t men with boundaries.”
“He just wants money. I’ll give him what he wants, and nobody has to get hurt.”
Nero’s head shook at your assumption, “You don’t know that’s what they want, y/n.”
“There’s nothing else he could want. They probably think The Club is making it big here. They just want a piece of that. I’ll give them what they want and then that’s it, nobody has to go to prison.”
“If we just spoke with Jax, he could handle this.”
“No! He will fuck Jax over, Nero!”, you stubbed the cigarette out on the ashtray and stood from your desk, putting your jacket back on. “I’m not risking it. I’m not gonna be the one responsible for them all going away.”
Nero stood from the couch and made his way to the door. “You ain’t thinking right. Jax can handle his own shit. How do you even know you’ll make it out of there? It ain’t beneath them to kidnap a woman.”
“What the fuck choice do I have?”
“I got a choice for you”, Nero dug in his back pocket before extending his arm out to you, offering you his phone. He gestured to you, tilting his jaw upwards, urging you to take it.
Water pooled in your eyes as you declined, shaking your head. Nero looked so worried and his concern had terrified you even more. “I don’t know what they’ve got on The Club but until I find out, I gotta deal with this on my own. It’s the only way to protect him.”
“And who protects you?” He didn’t want a response. He slid his phone in his back pocket as he left the office. “They ain’t the type to cash a cheque either”, he said as he walked away.
“You promised not a word!” You reminded him, as he stomped down the hall. Nero raised his hand up, not once turning back to look at you.
You put the cheque book in your pocket, found your car keys, and made way to your car.
It was still daylight as you drove down the highway, exiting for the diner just on the outside of Charming. You had the radio blaring, trying to drown out the coherent thoughts in your head that begged you to turn the car around. You carried on, ignoring your better judgment, and pulled into the diner car park, finding the only empty spot and cutting off the engine. The parking lot was full from the dinner rush, and you checked the time on your dash, noting it was 4pm. You sat there in silence, looking around at the vacant cars beside you, searching for any sign of The President or his crew. You could feel your phone vibrating in your jacket pocket, and you checked the caller ID. Two missed calls from Nero, and one from Jax. You turned off the device, before shoving it in the glovebox. You decided you couldn’t sit there in anticipation anymore, and so you made your way inside the diner, feeling once more for the comfort of your gun, held snug in your jacket pocket.
When you got inside the place was packed, tables of people crowded throughout and waiting staff everywhere. You figured nothing bad could happen in the diner with so many witnesses around.
You found the only empty table at the back of the room, and nestled into the bench, searching once again for your blackmailer. It had been over an hour since his call to Diosa, and you worried you’d made it too late. A waitress approached you with a menu.
“Hi there hunny, my name’s Cora and I’ll be your waitress today. Can I get you a refreshment?”
“I’m actually just waiting on someone.”
She smiled politely back at you, “I’ll come back once they get here.”
As the waitress left your table, you heard the bell of the diner entrance ring, and he strolled in casually, completely alone.
He seemed taller than you had recalled, towering over the tables of families enjoying their meals as he searched the room for you. You had forgotten how overtly handsome he was, and you could’ve found yourself attracted to him if it wasn’t for the creepy, blackmailing, threatening the-love-of-your-life thing he had going on.
His leather cutte draped over the dark shirt that clung tight to his body. He had dark wavy hair that tousled behind his ears, his eyes covered by a thick pair of sunglasses. He was incredibly good looking, yet completely and utterly terrifying. Your eyes never left him. You watched as he looked around the room, scanning the tables before he found you.
As he approached, you could hear the steps of his boots clamping at the tile beneath him. He sat down in front of you, sliding himself along the bench. You had never felt so small and as seen as you had in this moment, face to face with your blackmailer. He smiled at you as he pulled his sunglasses off, placing them on the table. His eyes were the same as you’d recalled in your memory. Black and empty.
“I expected to see more skin.” He spoke with no attempt to hide his disappointment.
You ignored his response to your outfit, and reached into your jacket pocket for the cheque book you’d found earlier. You set it in front of you on the table, hoping to cut to the chase. “How much do you want?”
The President looked at the book and a light chuckle escaped his lips, his perfect teeth gleaming at you. “You think I’m here for your money, little lady?”
A sickening feeling twisted in your gut, as it became clear that Nero had been right.
“What do you want?”
Before he could respond, the waitress approached your table as she’d promised. “Can I get you two started off with some drinks?”
“I won’t be staying, thank you.”
He smiled, amused by the idea of you going anywhere. “I’ll get a coffee. Black.” His eyes never left you as he spoke. The waitress strolled off, leaving you both alone again. The President relaxed back into the bench, one arm laid draped across the top of the chair. He didn’t talk, just watched comfortably as you squirmed under his glare.
You played with the edge of your dress in your fingers beneath the table, trying to hide your anxiety. “What is it you want from us?”
“Does he know you’re here?”
You shook your head.
“Smart girl.”
“I don’t know what you think you’re doing-”, you were interrupted by the waitress placing his coffee down in front of him. “Give me a shout if you need anything else.” He nodded her way as she left.
He stirred the coffee in front of him. “Does your Pres. take no for an answer?”
“How does that-”
He stopped you, “I asked you a question. Does he?”
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
He pushed the cheque book off the table and it fumbled into your lap. “I got all the money I need, sweetheart. I’m here for you.”
“For me?”
“Mhmm.”
You sat there still, dumbfounded at the audacity of this man, the only sound between you two being the stirring of his coffee mug. Nero had been totally right. Suddenly you were giggling, and as he realised you were amused, his face dropped, any charm he had disappearing instantly.
“Let me get this right,” you said, regaining your composure. “You’re threatening the SONS with prison- threatening to rat on The Club to the feds- to get some pussy?”
He sipped the coffee from his mug, staring at you as he drank it.
“Does your Pres take no for an answer?” He repeated, his words trailing slowly as he spoke.
And just like that, it clicked. You had bruised his ego, embarrassed and rejected him in front of the lobby at Diosa, and now he was going to do whatever he had to get what he had wanted. He wasn’t gonna send The Club down because he wanted their cash or guns. He was willing to send The Club down because he wanted you. “My Pres. respects the word no. Can’t say the same about you.”
A smile formed at the corner of his mouth as he spoke, “you’re gonna give me what I want.” His tone was assured and strict, as it was an instruction.
“And if I don’t?”
He pulled a small manilla envelope from his cutte, placing it on the table.
You were really over this guys letters, but your curiosity got the better of you. You pulled the envelope from the table, peering into the contents without removing them. The envelope was filled with a stack of prints. Images of Jax, Opie, Chibs, it was the entire club, talking to a group of men off a roadside in the dark. The images looked like they’d been taken on a long lens camera, zoomed in a little too close. They seemed innocent enough at first, no crime being committed, just casual conversation. As you continued to scan through the photos, your heart began to sink further and further. You flicked deeper into the stack, realising he had concrete evidence of them all, loading crates of guns onto a truck in the dead of night, just outside the South California border.
“You’re gonna give me what I want.” He repeated as he calmly sipped his coffee. “And this time, there ain’t gonna be a no.”
You pushed the photos inside and laid it back on the table, your hand placed firmly above the envelope. You matched his eyes and tone, trying to find a way to suppress your panic at the collateral he had against Jax and The Club. “Just tell me what I can do to make these disappear.”
His mouth pulled into a sadistic smile, before he lingered his fingers up your exposed hand, goosebumps forming under his touch. “You’re gonna let me inside you.”
Of all the fucked up men you had been surrounded by your whole life, this one took the cake.
“You must be joking. That isn’t gonna happen.”
His amusement never waivered, still smirking at you from across the table. He glanced down towards the envelope, bringing your attention to it once more. “How ‘bout you humour me.” His confidence was suffocating, knowing that you had no choice but to consider giving him what he wanted most. You took a deep breath, beginning to actually hypothesise about what doing so would entail.
“How do I know you don’t have thousands of these printed out by now?”
“Guess you gotta trust me.”
“Sure, you're blackmailing me into sitting on your dick and now I’m expected to take your word.”
“You make it sound like I’m not a catch.”
You ignored him, trying not to insult him further as to piss him off. “Fine. Let me humour your ridiculous request. Let’s say I give you what you want..  And then what, this ends? I take these pictures and that’s it? You leave The Club alone?”
“That’s it.”
“And where is this happening? I assume you aren’t gonna fuck me at a diner.”
He finished his coffee, pushing the empty cup to the bottom of the table. He reached under the surface, grasping tightly at the exposed skin of your thigh under your dress.
“I’d take you on this table right here and now.”
As you pulled away from his touch, his smile faded. “So what’s it gonna be?”
You recoiled closer to the edge of the bench, considering running. You glanced down again at the manilla envelope in front of you. You knew deep down you had no choice.
“Out of all the girls in Charming, the ones from Diosa. You really have to do all this to get to me? What would your crew think if they knew you were threatening to take down another Club with the feds for a quick fuck?”
“Why don’t you just take it as a compliment.”
“You’re a sick and twisted fuck, you know that?”
His smile reappeared, enamored at your disdain. “You ain’t seen nothing yet, baby.”
He really wasn’t backing down. This would break Jax, whatever happened, it was going to kill him. You refused to cry in front of this man, forcing the tears building in your eyes from falling.
“Shit makes no sense.”
He relaxed back into the chair, putting his sunglasses over his eyes. “It’s simple, baby. Nobody tells me no.”
You scoffed, “that’s because you don’t give them the option.”
He stood up from the bench, pushing the envelope full of evidence back into his cutte, and tossed a wad of cash down on the table. He held his hand out to you, awaiting your decision.
“Choice is yours. A night with me, or forever without your pretty Pres.”
You sat there still, staring at the hand that urged to take you away. Before Jax, you wouldn’t of needed an ultimatum to go anywhere with this man. But this was different. You had given Jax everything, and you knew he had given you all he could too. Every part of him that wasn’t yours, was intertwined in The Club. Watching that die would tear him to shreds, and you weren’t prepared to let that happen, not when you could prevent it.
So you took The President's hand without another question, and left the diner by his side.

Guilt had followed Anakin all week.
He talked to you for a good hour over the phone on Wednesday, and not once did he mention the fact that Liz had kissed him. He knew the longer he kept it from you, the worse it’ll be for him, but he was terrified of your reaction.
Anakin had been faithful for nearly five years straight, and the one time he’s away from you for more than a few days he lets another girl get close to him. Close enough for him to break that streak in a single night.
He knew that as soon as he told you, it could very well be over, and he never wanted to lose you, let alone because of something so out of character for him.
Still, it wasn’t fair for you to be kept out of the loop, and though he hated to do it, he’d rather tell you in person. He could only hope that you saw it from his perspective, and how hard he’s been trying to get rid of her.
Anakin was sitting on the couch, the passing scenery doing wonders at keeping his mind busy. He wanted to call you, but you told him that you needed to sort some things out today, and he’d just have to wait until you were able to talk.
He had headphones on with the track Vinny and Theo had recorded during all the time Anakin spent with Liz, and he felt like the worst excuse of a friend and band member ever.
They were actually trying to get music out while he just went out and partied. But he wouldn’t be doing that anymore.
If one good thing came out of that whole club situation and the wake up call, it was that Anakin was finally inspired to write. Theo had come up with the idea to create a slower song rather than the loud and intense songs they’ve been playing for the last year and a half. He was sure it was because the bass player was feeling down a lot lately and needed a way to vent, and Anakin and Vinny were more than willing to agree to it.
He listened to the track on repeat as he thought about possible lyrics, and Anakin was happy that Vinny had decided to try his luck with a piano. He played it for about four years before he switched to drums, but he clearly still knew how to play the string instrument as it sounded amazing through his headphones.
Before long, he had a whole page done and was starting his second when Vinny emerged from the back of the bus. His hair was a mess, signaling to Anakin that he had just woken up from a nap.
Anakin could probably use a few more hours of sleep, too, but he knew it would never come. He’d just end up tossing and turning and wasting time, so he didn’t even bother.
Vinny sat down next to him with a huff, taking the notebook out of Anakin’s hands as he did so. Anakin scoffed at him, taking off his headphones and setting them aside as he turned to face his friend. “Is this for a new song?” Vinny asked with a yawn as he read over the page.
“Yeah,” Anakin answered, grabbing his phone and sending you a quick text.
Vinny set the notebook aside after reading it over. “Sounds good,” he mumbled. “Glad to see you got your inspiration back.”
“Yeah, but at what cost,” Anakin muttered.
“Anakin, Y/n will understand,” he tried to reassure him, but probably knew that it was pointless as Anakin would continue to feel like shit until he knew for sure that he wouldn’t lose you because of the mistake he made with Liz.
So when he didn’t respond, Vinny just shook his head and stood back up. He rummaged around in the mini fridge before grabbing two water bottles and heading back to Clara, leaving Anakin to finish up the song he had titled ‘Falling’.
-
“I feel like I’m wasting everyone’s time,” you confessed as you sat on the grass in the Quad. “I completely messed up that last assignment. I didn’t even try.”
Evan gave you a pointed look as he sipped from the straw of his smoothie. “You’re not wasting everyone’s time, Y/n,” he stated, making you roll your eyes. “I’m serious. Kenneth would’ve sent you running on the first day if he thought you were wasting his time.”
You shrug and look at different flights on your phone. “Maybe, but I still accused him of favoring me when he was literally just trying to be nice,”
“Y/n,” Evan called out to you, making you look up. “You’re a good writer. You’re one of the best in the class, don’t think that you’re not. One bad piece doesn’t make you a bad writer, you know that.”
You shrug again, sipping on your own smoothie. “Yeah, I guess,”
Evan set down his drink and moved closer to you. “I mean it. You’re going places…if you decide to stay, that is. While it’ll certainly give me a better chance at getting published, it’ll still suck to lose you. But if you’re no longer happy here, then you deserve to do something that does make you happy.”
You give him a smile and lean over to hug him quickly. “Thanks, Ev,”
He returned the hug before standing up. “Are you coming to class today?”
You think about it for a few seconds then shake your head. “No, I have some thinking to do,”
He nods and gives you a reassuring smile. “Okay, I’ll just see you later then,”
You nod back and watch as he makes his way to the building the class is in before pulling out your phone.
Ani: I hope you’re having a better day today, baby. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow. I love you.
The text brings a smile to your lips as you stand up and throw away your garbage as you reply to him.
So far so good. I can’t wait to see you, too, Ani. I love YOU.
You head in the opposite direction of your class, planning on going back to your room and packing your bag for Paris. Maybe you’d even start packing up to go back home. While Evan’s attempts at reassuring you were nice, you still didn’t feel confident in yourself anymore.
Anakin had even tried to reassure you, but he also said that you didn’t have to force yourself to stay if it wasn’t what you wanted anymore, and to have that support from him had your head feeling clearer than it had in weeks.
If all else failed, you still always had him, and that was enough for you to know that you’d be okay.
You pack the essentials and set your bag down next to your desk before sitting down on your bed. Grabbing your phone, you begin to look through more flight options. There was one for three in the afternoon, meaning you’d be able to be in Paris by five thirty at the latest. You’d have to swing by class tomorrow to talk to Kenneth, and to possibly say goodbye to him.
You really weren’t sure if you were going to come back for anything other than the rest of your belongings once Anakin and the guys leave France and you’d have to say goodbye again. Maybe you could just pack the rest of your things and meet him at the next location. You wouldn’t mind sharing that small bunk with him for the next two months, and you knew he wouldn’t mind either.
Without another thought, you buy the ticket and set your phone down, pulling out your laptop and continuing to write the rough draft of your short story, despite your plans potentially dropping the class.
The rest of the day passed by in a blur, and before you knew it, it was the next morning and you were packing last minute things and making sure you had your ticket ready. You set everything on your bed, excitement pulsing through you at the fact that you’d be seeing Anakin in less than nine hours.
His text had you feeling the happiest you’ve been all week, and you had shamelessly read it more than once.
Ani: I can’t wait to see you tonight. I’ve missed you so much, princess.
He was the sweetest, and you were shaking with nerves at the thought of feeling his arms around you again after four weeks of zero physical contact.
You leave your dorm and make your way to class, well aware that it had ended at nine and it was now nearing ten. With a quick inhale, you enter the classroom and meet Kenneth’s eyes from across the room. He was sitting at his desk, his brow furrowed as he looked back down at the papers he was reading. “Miss Y/l/n,” he greeted in a monotone voice. “Glad to see you could make it to class today, though you are an hour late and the class is already over.”
Giving him a forced and embarrassed smile, you step into the room. “Yeah,” you trail off, playing with your fingers as you stand by the door. “I’m sorry I missed the last two classes, it’s just….I don’t know if I’m cut out for this.”
Kenneth didn’t look up from the papers as he said, “Well, you’ve certainly done a great job at trying to prove that,”
Your face heats up and you look at the floor. “Yeah…I’m really sorry, Kenneth,” you murmur, glancing down at the A on your wrist. You feel the smallest bit of comfort from just looking at it, and you lift your head with a newfound confidence. “I didn’t mean to waste your time. That was the last thing I wanted to do.”
That had your instructor looking up at you. He studied your face for a few seconds before sitting up in his chair. “You didn’t waste my time, Miss Y/l/n,” he stated. “In fact, I quite enjoyed reading your previous pieces, so I don’t know why you think you wasted anyone’s time.”
You shrug at him and avoid eye contact. You just needed to get through this, then you could go to the airport and be with Anakin again after a month of not seeing him.
“I assume you came here to tell me that you’re dropping out?” Kenneth asks and you look over at him.
“Do you think I should?” You ask.
“That’s not up to me,” he says. “It’s your choice.”
You huff, “Do you think I’m…..good enough?”
Kenneth raises his brows. “Do I think you’re good enough?” He repeated your question and leaned back. “I think you’re a great writer, Miss Y/l/n, and it would be  unfortunate to lose you before I got to really see what you can do. But, it’s your decision, and I can’t make it for you.”
You give him a small smile and nod. “Right. I guess that’s a good answer,”
He returns the smile before asking, “Are you going somewhere?”
“Yeah, I’m….my boyfriend is performing at a few venues in Paris, so I’m going to meet him there,” you tell him. “I’m sorry, but I’ll be missing a few classes next week.”
Kenneth nods. “It might be best for you to take some time to figure out what you want to do,” he says. “If you decide to stay, there’s always a spot for you in my class, but if you want to go then I can’t stop you. But just know that one bad piece doesn’t make you a bad writer, and you shouldn’t let it have that much control over you.”
Your smile fades a bit at how similar his and Evan’s words are. Maybe they were right. “I’m trying,”
He shrugged, “That’s all you can do,”
A few seconds pass before you nod. “Well, I should get going. I don’t want to be rushing to the airport,”
“Before you go,” he called out to you just as you began to turn around. “I want you to know that, whatever you decide to do, I support you.”
That had a genuine smile forming on your lips. “Thank you, Kenneth, and I’m sorry for…everything,”
Then you were off. You headed back to your room to grab your bag, finding Evan leaning against the wall next to your door. Your look of surprise had him raising his brows, “What, you thought I was gonna let you leave without saying goodbye to me first? Especially since I might never see you again after this?”
You laugh and walk into his open arms. “I haven’t decided if I’m dropping the class or not, Ev,” you say and rest your head against his chest. “And I’d say goodbye to you before I left, anyway.”
“How generous,” he teased and pulled away. His eyes flickered all over your face before he met your gaze. “Have fun, okay? Go spend time with your famous boyfriend, and don’t worry about anything else, alright? You deserve it.”
You smile and nod, “Okay,” you agree. “I’ll see you next week, Evan. Promise.”
He squinted his eyes at you. “You better,” he said back, giving you another smile before leaving. You grab your bag and look around your room one last time before setting down the note you had written to Bailey. She was still at her parents house since there was some family emergency, and you didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to her.
You leave it on her bed before locking the door and ordering a ride to the airport, the stress of everything finally beginning to lift once you’re seated on the plane.
-
Anakin could not stop pacing the length of the small hallway on the bus.
He was shaking, he was so excited to see you.
He couldn’t think about much else other than your sweet scent, your kind smile, your achingly pretty face, and the way your body fit perfectly against his own. He was craving your touch and the sound of your voice. He couldn’t believe he had gone a month without you.
Vinny was watching him with a tired expression, his arm draped over Clara’s shoulders as she slept next to him on the couch. “Dude,” he grunted after watching him pace a few more times. “What are you doing? Why are you pacing?”
Anakin flexed his fingers as he shrugged, passing by the brunet once again. “I can’t help it,” he answered. “I have to leave in less than half an hour to pick her up and bring her back here. Half an hour, Vin, then she’s here.”
Vinny let out a laugh of disbelief, glancing down at his sleeping girlfriend. “I hope she’s this excited to see me at some point in the future,” he muttered to himself as Anakin tried to calm himself down.
“I missed her so much, Vin,”
“I know,”
“I can’t wait to see her,”
“I know, Anakin,”
“Please tell me that you and Clara are doing something tonight,” Anakin was powerless to stop the desperation from coming through in his voice.
Vinny smirked up at him, “Is that your way of asking if the bus will be empty tonight?”
“I need to be alone with her,” Anakin groaned. “I need it to be just the two of us, so we can talk. I need to clear a few things up with her.”
Vinny laughed. “I understand, man,” he said. “I’ll take Clara out for dinner or something and we’ll tour the Paris nightlife.”
Anakin gave him a grateful smile. “Thank you,” then he checked his phone and nearly dropped it when he saw Liz’s newest Instagram post. “Fuck.”
It was a close up picture of Anakin on stage a couple nights ago, his hair damp and his skin sweaty as he finished the last song of the set. He remembered feeling the high of that night, and he would’ve been happy to see that Liz had captured a photo of it, but right now all he felt was rage as he read the caption.
elizaphotography: Thought you’d all enjoy a hot, up close and personal shot of the sexy lead singer of Screaming Whispers ;)
She added a bunch of stupid hashtags and even tagged him, and Anakin wanted to throw his phone at the nearest wall. Vinny must’ve sensed the sudden change as he sat up a bit and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“She- I can’t fucking believe her,”
Vinny reached forward and grabbed his phone, his gaze hardening once he saw the post. “Wow, this bitch won’t quit,” he muttered, reading the caption over and over again. “She must think she’s invincible or some shit, because- what are you doing?”
Anakin had swiped his phone out of Vinny’s hand and clicked on Liz’s contact as he left the bus, hoping that the air would cool him off at least a little. It rang for a few seconds before the call connected, “Ah, I knew that would get your attention,”
“Back off, Liz,” Anakin rasped, leaning against the side of the bus as he felt his heartbeat quicken. “I mean it.”
“You’ve been avoiding me like the plague, Anakin,” she stated. “You’re acting like a prick. I thought we were friends.”
“You thought wrong,” he said and tried to take back control of his breathing. “Change that caption, or better yet, delete the entire fucking post.”
Liz hummed, “Thought I was allowed to post you? In fact, it’s on the contract that I get your image out there for the world to see,” she laughed. “Well, it says something like that, anyway.”
“I’m not joking, Liz,” he muttered under his breath, and her annoying voice had his body heating up in rage.
“I’m not joking either, Anakin,” she said back. “You led me on. I can claim that. Don’t piss me off, Anakin, or I’ll tell Y/n myself that you cheated on her.”
“I didn’t-”
“But you did,” she cut him off. “I’m living proof.”
“What do you want, Liz? Huh?” Anakin asked in frustration as he tugged on his hair. “Why do you insist on being such a-”
“A what, Anakin? What?” She pressed. “Call me anything other than my name, and I’ll message her right now.”
Anakin bit his tongue, holding back on calling her every bad name he could think of, because it really wouldn’t help much at all. “Keep her out of this,” he said as calmly as he could. He didn’t like her holding you over him like this when she had no fucking clue about anything involving yours and his relationship. She was just the fucking tour photographer, why did she think she had such an important role in his life?
“Yeah,” she hummed. “Maybe I’ll do that.”
Then she hung up and Anakin cursed under his breath as he opened the Instagram app. He deleted all the photos she took of him from his account, wanting nothing to do with her at all anymore. Sure, the photos were great and he actually liked them quite a lot, but he refused to be associated with her in any way.
Before he got off the app, he clicked on Liz’s account and saw that she did actually change the caption, but it still didn’t settle the anger brewing within him. Without a second thought, he blocked her and pocketed his phone after calling a ride that would take him to the airport and to you.

They reunite soon :') (but is that a good thing?)

The Umbrella Academy Final Season: My Version.
Part One: We Also See Each Other At Birthday Parties
Overview: After getting back to a normal world with no powers, we see the Hargreeves trying to adjust to normal lives which somehow seems a lot harder to navigate. TW: uhh, emo discussions and stuff, mature language, sad people overall, some storyline changes because I'm writing it as the characters are playing it in my head, also long ass fic, I'm sorry. Pairings: Luther×Sloane, Diego×Lila, Allison×Raymond, Klaus×Dave, Five×OC, Ben×Jennifer A/N: Sooo, the fourth season made me want to forget it. Like I was literally thinking that I wanted Sir Reggie to use his memory-erase thing on me. This is for me and many others who wanted to see a happy ending, so uhh, here goes. I'm sorry if any of my imagination goes against fan canon, just think of them of my own hcs. also, im kind of using this to practice third person omniscient, so constructive criticism is appreciated. Btw, THIS HAS SPOILERS (potentially) because I'm also using some of the scenes from the season, stuff that I liked and all that. So, here goes ig.

What happens when you put seven superheroes into a normal world and strip them of their powers? It's an interesting question, a loaded question to be precise.
Well, that's what has happened now, with the Hargreeves siblings living their respective lives, trying to deal with the fact that they just had to live without their powers. They felt good about it, yes, but in some ways, it also posed a few difficulties.
Six years later, they were pretty well-adjusted. Or so it seemed.
Let's go to Number One, shall we? Luther Hargreeves, the self-proclaimed peacemaker of the family. At the moment, Luther was snoring in bed, drooling onto the sheets as he dreamed of a different life. A life with his wife, Sloane. A white picket fence, two dogs, and maybe even kids? But then, the scene changed. The kugelblitz appeared, taking his wife and world away, waking him up in a frenzy.
As soon as he did, he sat up, reaching out for her instinctively, only to find nothing but cold sheets. Tears started welling up in his eyes as a lump lodged itself in his throat, his hands going up to his face and his shoulders started shaking as he sobbed. This was pretty much like a morning routine, wake up, cry because of overwhelming grief, then get up and have some coffee.
The goofball of the family had turned into a depressed lover looking for his lost love.
As for Number Two, Diego Hargreeves and his wife, Lila Hargreeves, were quite literally living Luther's dream, with three kids and a wonderful house. But, suddenly going from crime-fighting and assassinations to dealing with kids, in-laws, a shitty boss, and the housewife life would be hard for anyone, don't you think?
Every day, Diego went out to work as a mailman, trying to get the mail to their owners with perfect precision. But, he failed, for his power was the reason for his perfect aim. And every single time, he felt insecure about himself. Now, he could get out of the truck and just deliver mail like a normal person, but then, this is Diego we're talking about.
Lila, on the other hand, has book club every other week. What the family didn't know, is that there is no book
They were a cute family, but they did need to talk to each other about some things.
Number Three, Allison Hargreeves was living with her husband and daughter, Raymond Chestnut and Claire Hargreeves Chestnut. While Raymond was happy living in a world where racism was a lot less than before and worked in a 9-5 job, Allison was struggling as an actor, trying to make time for family and land a good role. She also didn't really talk to the family except Klaus because she was afraid that they wouldn't want her, but she did regret her actions and felt lonely in that aspect of life.
Number Four was Klaus Hargreeves, the weirdest out of the group. It's those weird antics that also made him the most adorable in the group. Granted, he was a bit of a faint heart now that his immortality was gone, but the vibes were still there. But there was still the fact that he was three years sober, a fact that enabled him to wake up every morning with pride. Staying in Allison's basement, he had bubble-wrapped whatever surface he could, but being in charge of taking care of Claire finally made him feel useful in a way, so in short, he didn't really have any complaints.
And now, with his favourite brother Benerino coming out of jail, he could finally make him realise that he has a family as well!
Number Five, who was fine with being called Five, was working in the CIA, mainly investigating a cult that dealt with memories of another timeline. He used to dress up as a man named Jerome, putting on a fake mustache and a generic outfit to fit in. He clocked in early and left late, making people think that he was just another workaholic who didn't have anything to do at home.
But, there was a different reason. A reason that he wouldn't even tell his family. The PTSD of the previous many years, that he'd decided to ignore had finally started getting to him. He couldn't sleep without having nightmares of another apocalypse. The only way he could sleep without dreams was if he tired himself out to the point of passing out. Which is what he did.
Number Six, Ben Hargreeves was getting out of jail for being embroiled in a crypto scam. Granted, he had pretty much scammed too many people into losing too much money, but then why do people get involved in these markets if they don't keep in mind that it's risky? He could never understand people, really.
Now that he was out, he was free again, and he already had a plan to get away from the family once and for all. He didn't think he deserved to stay in a family full of love.
And finally there was Number Seven. Viktor Hargreeves, who was pretty much the strongest out of the group. But now, he just saw himself as an emo fuck-up who couldn't have a proper relationship, neither with his family nor with his partners. Building a life for himself in Nova Scotia had been hard, getting his bar business to take off had been harder, but what was hardest, was to actually commit to a person.
But then, could anybody blame him? He had lost too many people that he loved. There was Sissy, there was Harlan and there was the whole thing with Harold Jenkins. He was starting to think he needed to stay single for a while so that he could process his feelings and then put himself out there again.
But, even though they would do anything else, they did think that they needed to be there for Diego's first daughter, Grace's birthday party. So there they were, with smiles pasted on their faces in an arcade, where the children screamed while Diego and Lila yelled at each other.
"Diego! What are you doing?" She yelled into his ear, making him cringe.
"Getting the cake ready!" He yelled back.
"Piñata before cake! Go hang it!"
Diego went ahead and hung the fake horse with all the love he could muster and more. Though, Lila couldn't help but stare at him as he did, wondering how he knew that she had forgotten the piñata. She had called Diego up at the last moment in a panic, telling him about how she forgot to buy the West End one, and instead bought the East End one. Diego had just assured her and told her to breathe, telling her he'd handle it. He'd shown up with a vibrant horse, pretty much like the one she'd bought, but still different.
"What the hell are we going to do with two piñatas?" she'd asked, starting to panic again.
"We'll give the other one to Luther, babe. We both know he needs to get some of that anger out. Don't worry too much."
Diego stalked over to Luther carefully, handing him a bottle of beer and leaning back against the bar of some game, children shrieking with happiness.
"Hey, big guy," he said, internally wincing at Luther's answering grunt. "Where have you been these days? It's been what, a month since you'd called?"
"Just been busy," he said, taking a swig of the beer. They both knew how he'd been busy, but neither had the will nor the strength to discuss it. Diego missed him, but he sort of understood where he was coming from. He knew he'd go crazy if it had been Lila who had gotten lost after everything. He was pretty sure he would have been the reason for the world ending a fourth time.
Whereas Luther was mentally checking the wool-stringed map hanging in his house again and again in his mind, trying to figure out just where Sloane could be. He was hell-bent on finding her, to have the happy ending that they both deserved. He couldn't bear the thought of him living on while she died.
Elsewhere, Klaus had just entered the place with Claire and Raymond, with gloves on his hand and every other precaution he could think of.
"It's just a kid's party, Klaus. What's the worst that could happen here?"
"Oh, too many things. You of all people should know how dirty children can get, Raymond," he drawled in the typical Klaus fashion. Raymond only chuckled, shaking his head as Klaus cooed in excitement at the various candy stalls and selfie booths that were placed around the place. He had definitely been a weird addition to the family three years prior, but also an adorable one. His quirks made the house livelier for sure.
Allison, on the other hand, was sitting in her car, with her white-knuckled grip on the steering wheel. She was trying to convince herself to start the fucking car, to get home and practice her lines, but her eyes kept flitting to the rearview mirror, where the neon sign was glowing brightly. A sudden knock made her jump in her seat, and she turned to see Viktor, who she thought would be the last person to approach her.
She rolled the tinted window down to meet Viktor's cold but warm eyes.
"You aren't coming in?" He asked, voice frosty, but with a tinge of sadness in it.
"No, not really," Allison said, guiltiness lacing her voice. "I probably shouldn't ruin the party."
"Grace is your niece, too, you know," he said, looking at her firmly. "It's her birthday, and she deserves to see her aunt. Plus, the others care about her just as much you and I do, so they won't make a fuss."
Immediately, when she entered the place, she regretted it. Because while Diego and Lila were a bit warm towards her, Luther's gaze turned stony before he turned away. She wanted to run away and hide, but Raymond's comforting hand in hers gave her a little strength.
On the other side of the room, Ben was talking to Five, the one Umbrella sibling that he could tolerate to some extent.
"What was it, again? Ponzi scheme? White-collar fraud?" Five asked him with a smirk.
"Crypto exchange. Web 3.0, baby. Feds only went after because I'm an outsider. A fucking maverick like Elon.
"Well, that and you bankrupted a 100,000 people."
"The whole thing was like a witch hunt. I think I'm just gonna stay home now that I'm out."
"Yeah, well, say what you will," Five said with a small appreciative smile. "It's still good to have you back."
Klaus seemed to spawn beside them suddenly, putting an arm around Ben's shoulders. "Hello, Benjamin."
"Get your hand off of me, I don't know where it's been," he said with irritation lacing his voice, but Klaus was unconvinced. Even if he wasn't their Ben, he was Ben, and there was no one else that knew him better.
The party went on with the same vibes; somehow, it was the only Hargreeves party that's been normal. Usually, it ended up getting very chaotic and weird.
But then, all of them knew that they actually had fun in those parties.

Another A/N: I originally planned for this to have ten chapters, but nvm every chapter will get too long, so ig we'll just see how many parts this thing will have. Likes, reblogs and feedback is highly appreciated, please tell me if the transition from one character to other was too confusing or hard to process, I do that sometimes. Also, I do have a lot of changes, according to what I've seen on the tua tag, so I'll try to make stuff up too haha. Anyway, tell me if y'all like this or not, and tysm for reading

No one knows
The next day Merula went back to Hogsmeade, to Zonko’s. Bilton did not look happy to see her when she entered the store and she held up her hands.
‘I want to apologize.’
His expression became milder. ‘I see. Go ahead.’
She fidgeted with the zipper on her leather jacket. Fuck, she hated apologizing, but it had to be done if she ever wanted to show her face her again. Which she did. ‘I’m sorry for storming out of the store yesterday. I shouldn’t have done that. I let my emotions get the best of me and I’m sorry for that.’
Bilton smiled. ‘I accept your apology, but I will never let you work here again.’
‘That’s fair.
They said an awkward goodbye and Merula exhaled deeply when she stood outside. With that out of the way she could go back home, but she wanted to pick up a drink for Quinn. To celebrate her closing her first case. Not feeling comfortable going back to the Three Broomsticks, she went to Hog’s Head. Aberforth gave her a curious look when she got up to the bar.
‘Come to look for a job?’
Word travelled way too fast here. Merula crossed her arms. ‘No, I want some herbal liqueur.’ She’d decided Quinn was right, she didn’t have to work. Why not use her position to grant herself a break to think things over?
‘That’s too bad. But let me know if you change your mind. I heard about what happened with Rosmerta and I think you’d do well here.’
Stunned, Merula stared at him. Did he just offer her a job knowing what happened this week? Why would anyone want to offer her a job after this week? Not that it mattered. She’d do nothing for now. Absolutely nothing work-related that was.
Which is what she did the following days. She duelled with Quinn, went to the Dueling Club, practiced duelling at home, went to the theatre, watched the stars, studied new spells, read. Her days were full, although she spent most of the time by herself. With Ismelda abroad, Quinn was the only person she had actual conversations with and she did have a job.
As the days turned into weeks she started to get restless. Doing whatever she wanted was nice and all, but it got her nowhere. Writing letters to Ismelda got harder by the day.
I went duelling, again. Sat in the garden, again. Watched another play. Read another book.
Blah, blah, blah. There was nothing to it. Nothing she could be proud of, nothing to show off with. Sure she mastered some new spells and was a better dueller than ever, but who cared if she had no goal with it? She didn’t want to become a professional dueller. Professional duellers barely had a life outside of training and matches and she didn’t want to be consumed by anything ever again. Her obsession with the Vaults had almost cost her everything. There was no way she would risk that again. No, she needed something where she could excel, but where she could still have a live. Maybe even make a new friend. It’d be nice to have someone else but Quinn to talk to.
Frustration boiled up again. How had she made it to 18 without knowing what she wanted?! After finding the Cursed Vaults and defeating R this was supposed to be the easy part! She would get to live now and what did she do? Hang around doing whatever came to mind. Anything to keep the growing restlessness a bay. Everyone else was doing great. Even Quinn seemed to have settled in. They all had some reason to get up, some purpose. She had nothing.
Aberforth’s offer kept playing through her mind and she kept wondering what he wanted from her. After another day doing the same things by herself, she went to Hog’s Head. At the very least to stop the same questions from running through her mind.
The one-room inn looked grimy as ever and smelled like goats, which made her wonder if Aberforth was some secret goat breeder. There was no reason for this grimy inn to smell like goats otherwise. Aberforth stood behind the bar cleaning a goblet with his hands and a dirty rag instead of his wand, which explained why it didn’t get any cleaner.
‘Is the job still there?’
Aberforth stopped rubbing the goblet and looked up at her. ‘Sure.’
‘What kind of job would it be? I’m not really a server.’
‘I heard,’ he chuckled, ‘but I could use some help around here. I need a day off too every once in a while, but the patrons can be a lot. Not everyone can handle them. I think you could.’
‘So you do want me to be a server.’
‘I want you to make sure they pay before they leave and take any fights outside.’
She pondered the offer. It would give her something to do, some purpose, but at what cost? Working in this goat pen wasn’t exactly the dream job. On the other hand, she could do it. No one would leave without paying on her watch. Or dare to make a mess. She could excel in a small way, until she knew what she wanted. At worst she would get fired and at this point she didn’t know if she cared anymore.
‘Alright, but I don’t want to work every weekend.’ That would defeat the whole ‘having a life outside of work’ thing.
‘Fine,’ Aberforth shrugged. ‘Can you start tomorrow afternoon?’
‘Sure.’
The place didn’t look any better the next day. Or smell any better. She’d dressed for the occasion, with an old band shirt, old jeans and boots that were easily cleaned with a spell. Aberforth stood behind the bar again and he greeted her with a nod. She joined him and stared into the room. There were a few people, some hunched over the table whispering. Like they had never heard of the sound bubble charm. All of them had drinks, some had food.
‘Now what?’
‘We watch and make sure they don’t burn this place down.’
‘Why not? The place can’t get any worse.’
It slipped out before she could stop herself and she mentally prepared to be chastised, but Aberforth chuckled. Feeling a bit more relaxed she asked him about the place and before she knew it, they were chatting about the history of Hogsmeade.
As the afternoon turned into the evening the patrons got a bit rowdy and a fight did break out. A man and a woman rose from their seats, shouting, wands drawn. Aberforth nudged her to show him how she’d handle it. She stepped up to them, both were about two heads taller than her, and yelled.
‘Outside, both of you!’ They looked down at her for a moment. The man raised his eyebrow, as if to challenge her, and Merula drew her wand. ‘I said to take it outside.’
They laughed and she hit them with a jinx she’d taught herself a while ago for duelling. It pinned their arms behind their back. Then she hit them with in the back a few times, pushing them towards the door, until they left. They complained and spluttered, but couldn’t get their arms out of the grip she had on them. Other patrons pointed and laughed at them. Once they were outside, Merula went back to Aberforth.
‘Something like that?’
‘Something like that,’ he smirked.
She had to come between two more fights that evening and served a few drinks. Not that bad for a first night. The following days she broke up some more fights, scolded patrons for making messes and didn’t clean anything herself. For some reason the patrons liked her attitude and Aberforth seemed happy with her. She didn’t know what to think herself. The job itself was okay-ish, but she worked at Hog’s Head for Salazar’s sake! Way beneath a witch of her powers. She itched to do better, but still had no answer as to what she wanted.
On Friday Quinn brought over a group of her friends. She’d asked if she wanted to join and suggested coming to Hog’s Head when Merula said she couldn’t. Seeing them wouldn’t be the worst, so she’d shrugged. Aberforth would like the extra money and she supposed she could clean some goblets for the occasion. One for Quinn at least.
Tonks and Tulip were the first to arrive, claiming a large table. Tulip gave Merula a questioning look when she saw her standing behind the bar, but she ignored it. She’d realise soon enough. Shortly after Quinn came in, with Haywood and Egwu in tow. She grinned at her and waved and Merula returned the sentiment with a small smile.
‘Friends of yours?’ Aberforth asked.
Merula hummed a confirmation. Something like that.
‘Go join them, make sure they pay. We don’t do personal favours here.’
She let out a snort. Like that’s the reason, but she appreciated him acting like he didn’t do her a favour. The seat next to Quinn was still free and she took it. Under the table she gave her hand a squeeze.
‘You work here now?’ Haywood asked.
‘I’m not taking your order if that’s what you’re asking. You can go up to the bar and get it yourself. I’m not your servant.’
Tonks burst out laughing and Haywood turned red. ‘That’s not-’
‘We were talking about what we’ve all been up to.’ Tulip cut in.
She went on to explain how she and her toad Dennis were on an all-salmon diet?! Nothing but salmon, which sounded gross even to a fish lover like Merula. Haywood chimed in, talking about her wonderful, wonderful job. She had the best job ever. She was learning so many new things as apothecary in training. Of course, Tonks was doing great too, living her dream of becoming an auror. Training under none other than her hero, Mad-Eye Moody. Why that man was anyone’s hero was beyond Merula. She’d met him a few times dealing with R and if you asked her, he was unhinged. An accident waiting to happen. Egwu was happy working at Gladrags and working on his own fashion line in his free time. Quinn gushed about her co-workers, who were all just the nicest of the nicest. What lives they lived, no one questioned anything, had any trouble, or had gotten fired. No. Everything was perfect.
‘Well, congratulations to everyone for doing sooo well in life,’ Merula spat, unable to keep her frustrations to herself any longer. ‘Looks like everything is perfect for you all.’ The urge to get up and stomp off was as strong as ever, but she managed to hold back. She didn’t want a repeat from last time.
For a moment they all stared at her, then Egwu scowled.
‘I wish! I missed this month’s rent because I found the perfect fabric and forgot how much I had left. Making your own fashion line is expensive!’
‘But you’ve always made clothes. How did you not know it would be expensive?’ Merula asked. Besides, he knew how to calculate, right? That was just dumb.
‘I never had to pay rent and food and everything else on top of it!’
‘Tell me about it,’ Tonks said, ‘I hate paying rent. Why do I have to pay some rich arsehole for the right to have a roof over my head?’
Tulip made a face. ‘I wish I could afford rent. My experiments are driving my parents mad and I kind of destroyed the couch the other day. After creating toxic fumes in my bedroom.’
‘At least you get to do what you love,’ Quinn said. ‘I keep getting sent out to do things alone and my boss hates me. And he’s threatening to fire me if I don’t get my apparition license soon.’ Merula raised her eyebrows at her. This was news for her too. ‘He told me today.’
‘Ah fuck, I have to do that too!’ Tonks hair flashed blue and she put her face in her hands. ‘And if I keep failing stealth, I’ll never become an auror, but I can’t help that I keep knocking things over!’
Everyone focused on Haywood now, who had a sheepish look on her face. ‘I don’t want to be mean, but my roommate is, kind of a bit untidy. And she keeps using my stuff. I wouldn’t mind if she asked of course! But she doesn’t and when I find them, they’re dirty. I thought having a roommate would be fun, like living in the dorms had been, but it’s not.’ They all nodded and Merula looked at them, stunned by their confessions. ‘I thought I had everything figured out after graduating, but there’s so much I don’t know.’
‘It’s like they forgot to teach us how to live,’ Egwu said with an exasperated sigh. ‘I’m questioning everything I’ve learned.’
‘Just look at us! Some of Hogwarts best and brightest and we’re all struggling!’ Tonks said, her hair still blue.
‘It’s not just us,’ Haywood sighed. ‘I know Barnaby has been feeling extremely homesick for Hogwarts, McNully can’t grow in his job because he has issues networking.’ Merula sniggered. Of course he did. That’s what you got when you turned everything and everyone around you into statistics. ‘and Alanza hasn’t even found a place to live yet.’
‘Maybe they did forget to teach us some things at Hogwarts,’ Quinn pondered.
The rest nodded and named more things they wished they’d learned. Merula listened in awe. It wasn’t just her, they were all struggling. And judging by the things the others were saying she was already doing better than the lot of them. No roommate issues, no budget issues and currently, no work issues. Aberforth told her he wanted her to run the inn by herself for an afternoon coming week, see how it would go. He trusted her. Even if she didn’t want to work in this goat pen forever, it was far from the worst job she had in the past few weeks.
The next couple of days the conversation kept repeating itself in her mind. Maybe life after Hogwarts wasn’t the easy part, maybe they needed to learn that too. If so, she had already shown great improvement, unlike the others. She’d found a job that let her be herself and it didn’t look like she’d be fired anytime soon. Sure she still had no idea what she wanted, but she’d figure it out. She’d show herself some patience this time. For now she would stay at Hog’s Head and entertain herself by yelling at people. Life after Hogwarts would only get better, she’d make sure of it.

There are a few pluses to being an outcast. The big one is that all the outcasts sat at the same lunch table, so that saved you from the embarrassment of trying to find a table, or from having to eat in the bathroom like the loser you were.
The first time you sat at the table was during your freshman year. You were desperately searching for somewhere to sit in the busy cafeteria when an older boy with long, dark hair suddenly appeared at your side. You jumped as he said, “Come with me, fresh meat.”
It wasn’t exactly a welcoming comment, but what else were you to do? So, you followed him through the crowd of students. It was hard not to notice the glares and looks of disgust from the popular tables. You weren’t sure if they were directed towards you or the boy walking ahead of you. Probably both.
He brought you to a table with five other students. You realized as you approached that they were all wearing the same shirts; white with black sleeves, and an angry red devil on the front with the words “Hellfire Club” written above it. You had a sudden pang of panic thinking this was some high school cult trying to induct you.
The boy sat down at the head of the table and gestured for you to join them. You tried to decline the offer, but your words came out stuttered and unintelligible.
The long hair boy rolled his eyes and said, “We don’t bite. We’re a DND club, and school loser lunch table. You’re free to sit with us whenever you want, and it definitely seemed like you needed somewhere.”
You managed to stutter out, “I-I don’t play DND.”
“That’s fine, we don’t need new members. You can just sit. We won’t even talk to you if you don’t want us to.”
What other options did you have? Glancing around the room, you saw that every other table was already taken by cliques and established friend groups. You knew you shouldn’t pass up this opportunity, so you didn’t. You sat at the far end of the table and silently ate your food. The rest of the group talked amongst themselves, keeping to their promise of not talking to you if you didn’t want them to.
When lunch ended, you collected your tray and started to leave. You noticed the long hair boy walking in the same direction and fell back to talk to him.
“Thank you,” you said. “For letting me sit with you guys, I mean.”
“No worries, man. Like I said, you’re welcome to sit with us any time. High school is a dog eat dog world. Us dogs gotta stick together.” He bumped your shoulder before adding, “I’m Eddie, by the way.”
“(Y/N).”
That was a little over a year ago. You were now early into your sophomore year, and you still sat at Eddie’s table. The agreement of not talking to you still stood even all that time later. The guys would greet you when you sat down, but that would be the extent of your conversations. At first, you’d eat with your head down and just listen to what they were talking about, but for your birthday your family had gotten you a Walkman, so you started bringing that to school with you to listen to music during lunch.
Eddie would say hello to you if he saw you outside of the lunch room, too. He was very friendly, but you wouldn’t say the two of you were actually friends. Not that you didn’t want to be friends. In your full year at Hawkins High, you hadn’t made any friends. You weren’t into sports, and you had no desire to join any after school groups. You didn’t talk to anyone outside of the brief words exchanged with the Hellfire Club during lunch. You kept to yourself and, as much as you would like to be friends with Eddie, you were too scared to let him in after what had happened in your last school.
You were walking to your lunch table with your lunch tray in hand, the same as every day. It was the day of a school basketball game, so all the jocks were extra rowdy; being loud and running amuck of the cafeteria. You were trying to get to your lunch table without incident when a jock backed into you, bumping you so hard it knocked over your drink. You were able to grab it before it spilled all over you or onto the floor. You mumbled an apology even though it wasn’t your fault, but you knew it would likely be the best reaction to get you out of the situation.
Unfortunately, you were wrong.
“Watch where you’re going, loser,” the jock hissed. You mumbled another apology, but it still wasn’t enough as he roughly shoved you. You stumbled and managed to stop your tray from falling, but your Walkman, which was in your pocket and the headphones were around your neck, fell to the ground. “What’s this?”
You tried to grab it before he did, but you were too slow. He snatched your Walkman from the ground and held the headphones up to his ear. Heat was rising in your neck and you felt sweat forming on your forehead and under your arms. A nasty smile stretched across his face as he heard the music you had been listening to.
“Hey Jason, listen to this.”
He threw the Walkman over your head towards another basketball player. You tried to reach for it, but you were still trying to hold your tray as well. The next jock put your headphones on to hear your still playing music. His mouth opened in shock. “Who knew the quiet kid was into such heavy music?”
He then tossed it to the next jock. You watched helplessly as they threw around what you considered to be your prize possession, listening to the music that brought you comfort and mocking you for it. You felt tears stinging your eyes.
Suddenly, as one jock was tossing the Walkman to another, another hand shot out to grab it. Eddie Munson was glaring daggers at the basketball team and he held your Walkman. The jocks didn’t seem particularly intimidated by him. If anything, they were amused by his act of heroism.
“Awe, is the freak stepping in to save his little loser underling?” the first jock teased.
“You guys must really have sad lives if all that brings you joy is a game about throwing balls into laundry baskets and bullying people who did nothing to you,” Eddie said. “Almost makes me feel sympathy about the fact that you’ll all peak in high school and be bald by 30.”
One of the jocks tried to advance on Eddie and you felt yourself holding your breath. The last thing you wanted was for Eddie to get his ass kicked because of you. But, Eddie wasn’t afraid. He held up his index finger and waved it back and forth before pointing towards the lunch room supervisor, one of the school’s teachers. She had mostly been ignoring the bullying that was happening to you, as teachers in Hawkins High famously did, but suddenly she was zeroed in on what was going on between Eddie and the jocks.
“You can hit me all you want, but it’ll mean you won’t play in the game tonight,” Eddie said. “And I’m sure your coach would be so happy to hear that one of his players got detention the day of the game.”
The jock huffed at Eddie before turning to his teammates and motioning for them to go back to their table. You were still stood, frozen, unshed tears welling in your eyes that you were desperately trying to blink away. Eddie walked over to you and held your Walkman out to you.
“Hey man, you’re okay now,” he said, his voice soft.
You nodded and reached for your Walkman. Eddie thought you had a grasp on it before you actually did, and ended up dropping the device on the floor again. You winced as it landed with a loud crash, and popped open with the cassette sliding out of it. The both of you were quick to kneel down for the device, but Eddie reached it first. He was profusely apologizing when he took hold of the cassette and saw what it was you had been listening to.
“Whoa,” he said. “You listen to Metallica?”
You shrugged, suddenly feeling embarrassed again. Was he going to make fun of you the way the jocks had? You really could not handle it if he did.
“I love Metallica!” he said, a goofy smile stretching across his face. “What’s your favorite song? Actually, wait, we should probably go sit down so you can eat before lunch is over. But you have to answer my question when we sit down.”
Eddie insisted that you sit next to him instead of at your isolated part of the table. Everyone seemed shocked by how animated Eddie had gotten with you, but he ignored them to talk to you. You were shocked when he managed to get you out of your shell for that short lunch period. At first you were sheepishly answering his questions, but soon enough you were feeling just as giddy and excited as he was talking about the topic. You were disappointed when the warning bell rang, signaling the end of lunch.
“You should come to Hellfire after school,” Eddie said as you started to get up from the table.
“I thought you guys weren’t taking new members,” you said.
“Well, we’re not, but you can come watch if you’d be down for that. I can drive you home after and we can talk more about metal.”
A heat was rising in your cheeks again, but this time it wasn’t from embarrassment. You just nodded your head at Eddie, and he smiled another wide smile at you. He bumped your shoulder and said a quick, “See you then!” before going off towards the exit. You felt like you were floating as you went to dump your tray and make your way to your locker. You couldn’t believe how quickly things had changed with Eddie, all because of the music you listened to. If you had known this would be the topic that brought you closer together, you would’ve mentioned to him what you liked to listen to way earlier.
Suddenly, the thought made everything crash down around you. You remembered there was a reason you hadn’t wanted to get close to Eddie, a reason you had completely forgot about the entire time you spent talking to Eddie. As much as you had enjoyed getting to see this bubbly side of Eddie, and as much as you wanted to be his friend, you couldn’t. You couldn’t risk him finding out your secret and having him turn on you the way your last friend group had. You didn’t want to have to change schools again.
So, although you told Eddie you’d go to Hellfire after school, you made the decision that you actually wouldn’t. You’d slip out with the crowds of excited students who wanted to get home, and you wouldn’t have to face Eddie until lunch the next day where he would undoubtably hate you for standing him up. That’s how it had to be, no matter how much it hurt you.
But, things very rarely go as planned.
You were held back by one of your teachers to talk to you about an assignment you had nearly failed. You kept trying to insist that you understood where you went wrong and you’d do better for the next one, but he just kept talking and talking. By the time he had finally let you go, the hallways were mostly empty and the buses were getting ready to leave. You were annoyed by the fact that you’d have to walk home, but it was the only option now. You were scurrying to your locker, trying to get your things as quickly as possible before the Hellfire Club came down the hall.
You thought you were successful. You had your bag over your shoulder and your coat in your arms. You were making your way towards the school exit, almost to freedom, when a familiar voice called, “Hey, (Y/N)!”
You winced and turned back to see Eddie making his way towards you. You couldn’t just turn and ran out the doors. You were sure he wouldn’t follow you if you had. But, you stayed planted there, allowing him to reach you.
“Where are you going? I thought you were coming to Hellfire,” he said.
“Uh...something...came up,” you responded, lamely.
He didn’t seem upset or disappointed by your answer. He shrugged his shoulders and said, “That’s fine. Maybe you can come to the next one, then.”
“I...don’t think it’s a good idea for me to come,” you said. “I...we can’t be friends, Eddie.”
This is where Eddie’s face fell. “Oh...why?”
“I just...I can’t have friends.”
“Is that a weird religious thing? Are your parents, like, Mormon or something?”
“No, it’s not a thing with my parents. It’s a me thing. It’s a decision I made.”
“But why?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
You tried to leave again, but Eddie reached out to grab your arm. The second his hand touched you, it sent a fire through your whole body. You wanted him to keep touching you, and that was exactly why you couldn’t let him get close.
“(Y/N), what is going on?” he asked. “You’ve kept to yourself the entire time we’ve known you. You don’t talk to us, or to anyone. Today was the first time I’ve ever seen you so open and talkative, and now you’re suddenly saying you can’t have friends? What gives? Do you just...not like us or something?”
You shook your head. “It’s not that.”
“Then what is it?”
You felt tears welling in your eyes again. You pulled from Eddie’s grasp and declared, without thinking, “I can’t be your friend because I’m gay, and once you found that out you’d be disgusted with me, just like my old friends were.”
Eddie was silent. His face looked stunned, but otherwise you couldn’t read any other reaction. You backed away from him, ready to turn and run. You were mentally planning how to tell your parents that you’d have to switch schools again. You were just starting to...not like, but maybe tolerate Hawkins High.
“(Y/N),” Eddie finally said, “I’m gay, too.”
His confession stopped you dead in your tracks. You were sure you had heard him wrong. “What?”
“Yeah. It’s not a secret. I mean, I don’t just go around telling people that I’m gay, but I also don’t keep it private. I like guys, I’ve dated guys. Very open and proudly, even though everyone in this town is small minded and bigoted as fuck.” He paused before adding, “Wait, your old friends stopped being friends with you because you’re gay?”
You nodded. “They...they sort of told the entire school, and uh...I was forced to switch schools for my senior year because the bullying was just so bad.”
You could still hear the insults and slurs that were thrown at you on a daily basis when you walked the halls of your old school. Even the teachers looked at you with disgust when you’d enter a room or walk down the hall. There was no safe haven in your old school, just disgust.
You yelped as Eddie suddenly grabbed you and pulled you in for a hug. “Jesus, that fucking sucks. I’m so sorry.”
You let yourself relax in his arms. It felt like a weight had been lifted from your chest, and relief was washing over your body.
“The guys aren’t like that,” Eddie said. “I mean, you don’t have to come out to them if you don’t want to, but they’ve been very supportive of me and my sexuality. They’re good guys, I promise. Do you...do you still want to come to Hellfire?”
You smiled and nodded. Now that your secret was out there, you wanted nothing more than to spend as much time as possible with Eddie Munson.
You started to follow him towards the classroom where they held Hellfire Club. Before walking in, Eddie stopped walking and turned to you. You stopped, too, curious.
“There’s a Metallica concert in the next town over in a few months time,” he said. “Tickets are expensive as hell, but I’ve been saving up every pay cheque I’ve made from work the last few months to get tickets. Would you maybe want to come with me?”
You were stunned by his request. You had heard about the concert happening, your parents had told you actually. They wanted to get you tickets to go, but you turned them down. They weren’t fans of Metallica themselves, and you knew one or both of them would end up going just to bring you, and you didn’t want them to sit through a concert for a band they didn’t like if they weren’t going to enjoy themselves. And going with a friend was out of the question considering you had no friends at the time.
But now you did. You had Eddie.
“I-I’d love to,” you finally said.
Eddie’s smiled brightly. “Great. It’s a date.”
You paused while he entered the room. “A-A date?”
All he did in response was smile at you over his shoulder before turning his attention to the waiting Hellfire members. You had to remind yourself how to move and how to breathe as you followed him into the room, the words, “It’s a date” echoing in your head.

Balin
---
The Quiet Dreamer
Balin sat cross-legged on the dormitory floor, a dozen scattered papers surrounding him like the petals of a wilting flower. The dim yellow light of his desk lamp cast soft shadows across the room, and his brow furrowed in concentration as he scribbled notes into his notebook.
The assignment wasn’t even due for another week, but Balin hated leaving things unfinished. Not because he was a perfectionist—he wasn’t—but because he liked the feeling of everything being in its place, tidy and orderly. It helped him think.
"You’re overthinking again," Cheruu’s voice startled him from the doorway.
Balin looked up to see his friend leaning against the frame, a lollipop in his mouth and an amused expression on his face.
"I’m not," Balin argued half-heartedly.
Cheruu pointed at the chaos of papers. "You’ve got four drafts for the same paragraph. If that’s not overthinking, I don’t know what is."
Balin sighed, setting down his pen. "I just want it to be good. This essay counts for 40% of my grade, Cheruu."
"And you’re top of the class. You could probably write it in crayon, and they’d still give you an A." Cheruu sauntered over, plopping down on the floor beside him.
Balin gave him a flat look. "That’s not how it works."
"Sure, it is," Cheruu replied with a grin. "You’re smart. And hardworking. And probably the only person on this campus who actually enjoys writing essays."
Balin couldn’t help but smile at that. "I don’t enjoy it. I just... like the challenge."
"See? That’s what I’m talking about," Cheruu said, throwing an arm around Balin’s shoulders. "You’re a nerd, and we love you for it."
Before Balin could protest, there was a knock at the door. Rasira stepped in, his usual composed expression softening slightly when he saw the two of them.
"Are we interrupting?" Rasira asked.
"Nope," Cheruu replied, dragging Balin to his feet. "I was just reminding our favorite academic to take a break."
"I don’t need a break," Balin began, but Rasira raised a hand to stop him.
"Yes, you do," Rasira said. "Come on. We’re going for a walk. Fresh air will do you good."
Balin hesitated, glancing at his unfinished work, but the look on Rasira’s face left no room for argument.
"Fine," Balin relented, grabbing his coat.
The three of them wandered through the quiet streets of Aurelen, the small university town that had become their home. The cobblestone paths glistened under the faint light of streetlamps, and the crisp night air carried the scent of fallen leaves.
Balin loved nights like this. There was something soothing about walking through the town, the world stripped of its usual noise and chaos.
"Do you ever think about where we’ll be in five years?" Balin asked suddenly, breaking the silence.
Cheruu gave him a sideways glance. "What brought that on?"
"I don’t know," Balin admitted. "I guess I’ve just been thinking about the future a lot lately. What I want to do. Who I want to be."
"You’re already who you’re meant to be," Rasira said quietly.
Balin looked at him in surprise. "What do you mean?"
Rasira stopped walking and turned to face him. "You’re kind. Thoughtful. Determined. Those things matter more than whatever career you end up in."
Cheruu nodded in agreement. "Ras is right. You’re the heart of this group, Balin. You keep us grounded."
Balin felt his cheeks flush at the praise. He wasn’t used to being the center of attention, and he didn’t think of himself as particularly special. But hearing his friends say it made him wonder if maybe, just maybe, they were right.
"Thanks," he said softly.
They continued walking, the conversation shifting to lighter topics—Cheruu’s latest prank, Rasira’s refusal to join their campus club, and the mysterious disappearance of Balin’s favorite coffee mug.
By the time they returned to the dorm, Balin felt lighter, the weight of his earlier worries forgotten.
Later that night, as he lay in bed staring at the ceiling, Balin thought about what Rasira had said.
You’re already who you’re meant to be.
Balin wasn’t sure if he believed that yet, but he wanted to. And as he drifted off to sleep, he made a silent promise to himself: to trust his friends, to trust the journey, and to embrace the person he was becoming—one step at a time.

Middle school Au mini fic!
All they had to do to be left alone was take a picture of something random every five or so minutes to be left alone. If a teacher or faculty member got a bit suspicious, all they had to do then was offer to interview them for the school paper. The best human deterrent known to man.
Hong Kong and Iceland used this as a method of escaping class probably more often than they should. They were covered of course. Hong Kong took enough private lessons to make up for any classes he missed and Iceland had his older brother who'd already passed the seventh grade and made a point of ensuring that his brother was always ahead.
They made their way towards the library. The best place for them to play up their photography shtick. The librarian knew of Iceland from his brother who practically lived there.
Iceland gave her a polite nod then immediately headed towards where he knew he'd find Norway. The library had a small side room dedicated to book duplicates, broken computer bits, etcetera. Norway had been given permission by the librarian to tidy it up and use it to ditch class.
Iceland carefully opened the door to find Norway cross legged on the floor, head down, reading a Novel cradled in his lap.
The flash from Iceland's camera draws him out of his book. He looks at him with a puzzled look. Iceland grins in response.
"oh this one's golden."
Norway managed to snatch the camera to observe the very unflattering picture Iceland took of him. He narrowed his eyes at his little brother.
"you're so immature."
"call me immature again, I'll print it out and give it it's own special coloumn in the paper. Show you how immature I really am." Iceland retorted while yanking back his camera.
Hong Kong grinned as he threw himself into one of the rickety chairs.
"I say we put it right on the front page. Give everyone in the school rare access to Norway's magnificent forehead."
Norway shot him a look.
"hilarious. Aren't you two just precious? Why are you two here anyway?"
Iceland put on a face of pure innocence.
"what? Can't visit my big brother when he's on the run from the law?"
Iceland sat across from his brother, leaning his back against a box of damaged computer parts.
"we're here because we're bored and lunch break is in only ten minutes so we thought it'd be smart to get out of the hall before then." said Hong Kong as he began messing around with a broken keyboard.
Norway nodded. It was a good idea to stay out of the hallways around lunch time. Teachers really liked circling the halls then. Not to mention the intense crowd that forms.
"tried to convince Eduard to come with me, but he didn't want to get in trouble. Good call too, that teacher really likes giving him a hard time." said Norway.
Both Eduard and Finland did prefer to stay in class. Finland didn't see a need to skip class. He was never too bored and he liked being able to joke around. Eduard was always a bit scared of being found out. He didn't like breaking the rules much. He occasionally did agree to skip class. He was only caught once, but thankfully Iceland had an alibi for him.
The sound of the bell suddenly went off signaling that they probably should get their crap together. Iceland stored his and Hong Kong's camera in his messenger bag.
They waited an additional five minutes to ensure the coast would be clear before they inconspicuously ducked out of the library and headed to the cafeteria.
Denmark quickly waved them over to their table. Sweden was listening to Finland talk about some sort of children's comic he really liked.
Iceland took a seat by Eduard.
It was rare that Eduard managed to join them at lunch because he was usually occupied with his duties as the president of the writing club. A club of his own founding of course. Iceland and Liechtenstein were very eager to join when he made it. With Raivis as vice president they had enough people to justify having the club.
Eduard took it very seriously and wanted to make sure his club was the best in the school. The others couldn't help admiring his effort and determination.
It didn't take too long for the club to start getting some attention. Ukraine was very happy to join. Her sister? Not so much, but she was also eventually swayed. Eduard could be very charming if he wanted to. Bela would never admit that she joined the club because she found him charming.
He managed to make the club very enjoyable even with the serious atmosphere.
It was good that he was finally joining them at lunch.
"How's your essay coming along, Ice?"
"oh uh... Yeah... I'm gonna be honest, I didn't even start."
Eduard laughed.
"well, I honestly think I'd be worried if I ever saw the day you finished something without procrastinating. Might do a wellness check or something."
Iceland laughed.
It was true, but it was hardly his fault. He had so much work to do. Between violin lessons, play rehearsals, actual school paper duties (because there has to be something to show for all the goofing off), art lessons he barely had enough time to focus on much else.
Norway had also been persuaded by Eduard to join the club. He liked it well enough. When asked the same question by Eduard, he shrugged.
"didn't think writing romance would be so difficult."
"well, you do read a lot of it. Thought you'd like writing it."
"reading romance and writing it are two drastically different things. I thought I'd like it, but it's so damn hard. I can't figure out how to make my characters likable enough."
"I can help you out with it in our meeting later today."
"Boooriiiing!"
They turned to look at Denmark. Norway gave him an unamused look.
"oh I assume you'd rather talk about sports then?"
"yep! I have a volleyball game today!"
"again? Man, do you have them every other day or what?"
"no, we have one every week. What? Are you saying you're not going to watch it?"
"I don't think that's an option. We all go home together."
Denmark grins.
"it's a date then!"

I thought this story was worth sharing, and whether it is read by none or one or twenty five, I’m glad I wrote it down, and I’m glad my brother read DFTBA from a bumper sticker on the highway. I hope someone smiles at the words on this page, before they are swallowed by the deluge of love and care sent by people all over the world with stories just like my own.
To be up front about it, your videos saved my relationship with my brother, Donovan.
He was my absolute best friend growing up, the person that everyone else had to live up to in order to be even considered a decent person.
He was my hero.
He’s three years older than me, and he was a protector as I went through the struggles that “high potential” kids have which aren’t always understood by those in authority positions.
All my teachers wanted to move me up a grade, which ruined the friendships I had cherished as ten-year-olds do. Fast forward six years, and my brother and I grew apart pretty quickly.
I was president of a couple of clubs at school and he was off to Vanderbilt that fall. We stopped telling each other everything, and I didn’t know what to do to keep talking.
We were driving to visit our grandmother who lived an hour away, and it was getting late.
We were keeping each other awake, blaring music and singing at the top of our lungs.
It was one of the best memories I had with him, and then it got better.
As a car passed us on the highway, my brother (pointing, reading a bumper sticker) yelled, “DFTBA!” And looked at me expectantly. I thought he was crazy, and he just kept repeating,
“Don’t forget to be awesome!...Vlogbrothers...John... Hank...none of this rings a bell?”
When I still didn’t understand, he just told me to go on YouTube on my phone and search “John Green pennies” because he couldn’t remember any specific title.
That was it.
Three minutes and fifty seven seconds, and I was hooked. We sat in my grandma’s living room until past 2:30 that morning watching any video that came up.
The most popular, related to the current one playing, and all of Hank’s songs. Since that day, we would run into each other’s room and talk about the videos for hours.
I also have a (totally healthy) obsession with Jane Austen, and watching all the Pemberly Digital projects with him has been second only to reading them in the first place.
We have read John’s novels together, and cried for hours.
This Christmas, my brother made a donation in my name for the P4A and it was the most amazing thing anyone could have ever done for me.
Without ever watching a video, our parents soon picked up on who we were speaking about when ‘John and Hank’ were mentioned, which is astonishing when they can’t even remember the names of our closest friends. I could list off one hundred other things about being a Nerdfighter, but most importantly is saying thank you.
Thank you for doing this and putting yourself out there which is so difficult to do.
Thank you for leaving your children something to be proud of when so many are left with nothing.
Thank you for turning Nerdfighters into Nerdfighters by decreasing world-suck.
And thank you to your wives and families who support you as you change lives on a daily basis.
Thank you for inspiring me personally, and showing me how easy it is to be passionate about writing and words.
Many good wishes and blessings.

---
Most of the time, Gary can’t even keep track of what continent David is on, never mind what city he’s in, so it’s a pleasant surprise when he gets to Salford one day to find him sat in the VIP suite, chatting to Nicky.
It’s rare for David to come all the way up to Manchester, rarer still that he has time to check in and watch a game at the lesser of the two football clubs he owns, so thank fucking Christ they actually win this one, else that would’ve been embarrassing.
Not embarrassing for Gary, of course, because he’s got nothing to do with any of it.
When the full time whistle blows, David turns to Gary with a smile and asks “Dinner? Victoria wanted to meet me at some place in town,” and Gary had already had plans but again: seeing David is rare, of course he says yes.
They end up in some posh restaurant that Gary’s not got around to trying yet, mainly because you have to book a few months in advance and he can barely keep track of what he’s meant to be doing on a day to day basis. David doesn’t seem to have a booking, but he walks in and gives the hostess a smile, and after that the best table in the house miraculously frees up.
Victoria sweeps in a moment later, dipping down to give Gary a kiss on the cheek in greeting (which definitely does not make him blush, thank you very much), before taking her seat next to David.
“Sorry to make you wait, babe,” she says to David, “had to drop my things at the hotel and then traffic was a nightmare. How was the game, did your guys win?”
“’Course they did, they’re good lads. We’ve not ordered drinks yet, so do you –”
“Oh, yeah, I’ll just have a –” she’d been rummaging in her bag for something, but she looks up for a second and pauses, frowning at the other side of the table. “Oh. Sorry,” she says, looking between Gary and David with her head tilted in question, “I thought it was gonna be just us three?”
Gary looks to his right and huffs an exasperated sigh. “It was, this one just won’t stop followin’ me around everywhere. Like a lost puppy, really. Becks said we should take pity on ‘im.”
David nudges their leg together, just gently, and rolls his eyes. “This is Jamie, babe,” he says, leaning in closer to Victoria as he speaks, one arm draping across the back of her chair. “Gary’s partner.”
Both Gary and Jamie respond with an “ugh,” at the same time. Gary glances to his right again, smirking when Jamie meets his eyes.
“Partner, honestly, you’re makin’ me sound like a lawyer or somethin’,” Jamie says, holding out a hand for Victoria to shake. “I prefer ‘long-suffering martyr’, if we ‘ave to put a label on it.”
I’ll show you long-suffering, you twat.”
David clears his throat. “Yeah, uh, he was at the match with us earlier. Gaz wanted to send him home, but I thought – y’know, Jamie’s a nice guy,” (“is he fuck,” Gary mutters under his breath,) “and it’s been a while now, right? So maybe it’s time to sort of – bring him in to the fold, I s’pose.”
Victoria gives Jamie an analysing once-over. “How long’s a while, then?”
“’bout five years now, in’t it?” Jamie replies, looking at Gary in question.
Gary kicks him.
“Oi! Oh my god, how many times’ve I gotta tell you, I am not counting from the time we –”
“Can’t you ever just let the grown-ups talk without havin’ to open your ugly mouth –“
“Five, Gary?” David asks, looking between Gary and Jamie with an expression caught between amused and puzzled. “You told me at the World Cup it was still new, an’ that was only what, a year and a bit ago?”
“Well – well, it was new. In a way.”
“Oh my god, Gary, we’d been livin’ together two years before the World Cup, how’s that new?”
“I didn’t wanna just throw him – sorry, Becks, it were weird enough bein’, like, ‘oh by the way I’m gay’, without havin’ to add a – a proper, like, partner – yes I’m saying partner you idiot because in case y’hadn’t noticed that is actually what we are – into all that as well.”
“No, no, it’s fine Gaz, y’don’t have to apologise, I know it can’t’ve been – easy, for you to –”
Victoria cuts him off with a hum, her brow creased. “But he already knew you were gay?”
Jamie, who’d been about to take a sip of water, barks an abrupt laugh and turns to Gary with a twinkle in his eye. “Did he now?”
Gary kicks him again, just because he’s there and he can.
“Oh, yeah,” Victoria says airily, like she’s not just shattered Gary’s entire worldview with a few simple words. “I remember he said to me, when we first started dating, he goes ‘Gary doesn’t like talking about the gay thing, makes him feel awkward, so we just try not to mention it around him.’”
Jamie is positively beaming at this little anecdote.
“Right, well,” Gary announces, making a big show of pretending to get up from his seat, “I’ll just be off to kill meself then. Victoria, lovely to see you again, give my love to the kids.”
It’s David who grabs Gary’s arm and tugs him back into his seat, mostly because Jamie’s too busy informing Gary that he’ll be playing You’ll Never Walk Alone at his funeral.
“Gaz, it wasn’t – we weren’t making fun of you, we just – figured you’d talk about it when you were ready.”
Wait.
“We?” Gary screeches. “Wha’d’you mean, we?”
“Um,” David says.
Jamie claps Gary on the back as he doubles over in laughter.

The Late Night Dayton Gig
A One Shot Written for the Prompt: Do it again. Please.
Tumblr media
From Elvis’ concert performance in Dayton, OH April 7, 1972
Warnings: Drug use implied and being fucked up described. Curse words. Angst. Somehow this is even less smutty than the last one. And I have a “at least one scene” general smut rule for my writing. What has happened to me? I wrote this very quickly and there are many typos.
Summary: Alex is helping her mom close up the family deli in Dayton, OH when they get a last minute rush catering order for a special VIP client.
Word Count: 2,788
Friday, April 7, 1972 5 p.m. Katz Delicatessen
Not far from the University of Dayton Arena
The cool air carried a loose piece of paper and it hit the window next to where Alex sat, startling her as she finished writing out the inventory she had just taken in the deli’s ledger. She stopped to clean her glasses with the hem of her simple, brown floral dress and looked up to see her mother lean against the office door way.
“I’m almost done, Mama, have you boxed up the cake for Ellie’s birthday yet? Think we should do it before or after I take her out?”
Mama sighed, wiping her hands on her dirty apron.
“You have to cancel tonight, tell Ellie we’ll celebrate tomorrow.”
Alex put her glasses back on, frowning.
“What? No, it’s all set, Randy is meeting us for dinner at home, then he got us on the guest list at that new night club down down, The Nitty Gritty. Ellie only turns 21 once. Why would I cancel?”
“Oy, because I just got a call from Stu.”
“Myerwitz?”
“Mhmmm. They have a rush catering order, and the hotel kitchen is already overwhelmed with two weddings and a Christening. And the party is tonight.”
“Tough titties Mama.” Alex stood, slamming the ledger shut. “Not our problem.”
Mama walked over, looking to Alex’s face, her hand on her shoulder.
“Oh babushka, I hate when you talk like that. It’s too much money to turn down. Stu won’t tell me who, but it’s a VIP client, very very VIP. Five thousand dollars.”
Alex’s face dropped. “Well, that should have been the first thing you said, I guess.” She sat down and took out a piece of paper. “How are we gonna prepare that much food in time for a dinner party? And who can I get to work it?” She started making notes on her piece of paper, writing the date at the top, and then “VIP River West Hotel Dinner Party.”
“It’s a late dinner, party, midnight I think. And who else, Sasha? You, Randy and Ellie.”
Alex looked back out the window, reaching up to adjust the messy brown bun at the top of her head.  Ughhh, happy 21st birthday, and by the way, you’ll be spending it working with me and your boyfriend at a dinner party for some schmuck who can’t plan in advance.” She looked at her mother. “Please tell me that part of the five grand was the rush order, it’s not really five thousand dollars worth of food and wait staff?”
“Stu said 100 people, so I told him $50 a head.”
Alex smiled. “Good.”
***************************************************************************************************
“I’m not paying $50 a head, sorry lady, but that’s highway robbery.”
Alex’s eyes narrowed at the chubby, jowl faced bastard in front of her and she whistled at Ellie and Randall to stop plating the deviled eggs and the brisket appetizers.
“Um, that was the agreed upon fee when this booking was made, so unless I get a check for five grand right now, we are taking our food and walking.” Alex tucked her leather notebook under her arm, and smoothed her black, button down blouse before clenching her right hand into a fist. She was about to blow her top if this small, horrible little troll said another word to her that wasn’t yes. Ma’am. Right away.
“Lady, that wasn’t a part of any agreement I made. I’ll do $25 a head, no more. What are you going to do, throw this food away?”
Alex tightened her jaw, squishing up her mouth in contempt as she walked over to the side of the kitchen where food trays sat lined in three enclosed, steel carts, and began returning the food on the counter to them.
“OK, guys, start packing up, I’m done. I’d rather give this food to a homeless shelter than take any money from a two-bit, schister trying to hustle us on a last minute rush order for some mysterious VIP.”
Ellie swallowed a guffaw, grinning in disbelief at her sister, before nodding, and boxing the eggs back up. Randy stirred himself and followed suit.
Joe put his hand on Alex’s shoulder as she closed up a full trolley and moved to push it out of the kitchen area and back through the Presidential Suite.
“Now honey, listen, why don’t we —”
Alex nudged his hand off her shoulder with a scowl, the trolley wheels squeaking out as she began to push it out of the kitchen.
“Don’t you honey me, you snake. We received a phone call at 3:30 pm. That’s seven hours ago, ordering a full buffet dinner for a 100 people, with staff. The type of order I book months in advance. And I was told that if we could swing the rush timeline it would be a sweet five thousand. Now you’re trying to honey me into half of the agreed upon amount?”
Alex stopped at the large double doors at the front of the suite to shake her fist at Joe.
“Fuck you, fuck your VIP boss, and here’s a tip, if you want a woman to know you take her serious in any professional negotiation or discussion, don’t call her honey, ok?” Alex grabbed the door and pulled it open as she looked back at Joe. “Cuz I am not your —”
Just as she rotated to pull the cart into the corridor, Alex found herself lurching into the pale, sweaty, hairy chest of one Elvis Presley, who paused wiping his face with the towel around his neck to catch her by the shoulders as she gasped.
“Whooo there honey, you ok?” His lavender glasses were upside down, and he had been laughing with the group of guys snaking behind him into the hotel corridor.
Alex stepped back, dropping her clip board and then shaking off her stunned reaction to murmur a low “Fuck me baby Jesus,”  before knocking heads with the shaggy-haired singer as they both bent down to grab her things.
“Hey now, sugar, we keep meeting like this I reckon people round here ‘ll start to talk.” He smirked, grabbing Alex’s leather bound note book and clipboard, and handing it back to her with a dramatic flair.
She nodded. “Mhmmm, yeah, usually the slight graze of bare skin is quite the scandal here in Dayton, but since your business manager has been trying to fuck me since I walked into this joint twenty minutes ago, I think the newspapers will find that more titillating, don’t you think?”
Just then, Ellie and Randy emerged from the kitchen pushing the other two trolleys, and Alex held the door wide for them as she motioned them in front of her. Ellie’s jaw dropped as she recognized Elvis and tripped on herself as she moved through the door frame.
“Go right along kids, I’m behind you.”
“K Sasha!” Randy called back, as the sound of heavy trolleys moving over the hotel carpet echoed through the hallway.
One of the younger guys stepped forward to hold the door for Alex as she grabbed the her trolley and began to shuffle back wards, only to hit the white gaberdine fabric of Elvis jumpsuit, covered the arm he had swung down to stop her retreat.
“Now, hold on just a goddamn minute, what the hell’s goin’ on? Joe? Is that my food?”
Alex’s lithe body became a battering ram as she jolted into his arm.
“Oh, it’s just a classic failure to communicate scenario. Now,” she banged harder, dislodging his arm as he pulled it back in discomfort. “Thank you, we’ll be out of your hair in just a jiffy.”
Alex stuck a terse smile over her face, and turned to drive the trolley forward while Elvis looked back at Joe, then down at her, with a confused, hurt quizzical expression.  Two minutes later, she was pulling her cart into the freight elevator, only to see a long, wide hand grip the edge of the closing door and Elvis pushed his way in.
Alex looked up at him, pushing her glasses up at the bridge of her nose.
“No.”
“Honey, you don’t even know what I’m a gonna say.”
“Ok,” she sighed. “What are you gonna say?”
The elevator started to  move down and Alex got a better view of his taut, thick body, emphasized by the low  v neck cut of his jumpsuit that pushed up to his shoulders. Blotches of black eyeliner was smudged around his eyes, and Alex fought the urge to lick her thumb and lean up to wipe them away. She blushed as he grinned down at her, and then he fell forward over the top of the trolley toward her, resting his arms across it and then leaning his chin down in a pitiful sideways tilt.
“Don go, please sugar, bring that food back up. Joe’s getting your check ready right now. I told him six.”
Alex put her hand on her hip and quirked her mouth in a frown.
“Don’t do that. I just wanted the amount we had agreed on.” She looked up at the tiled, white lights above her, listening to the faint whir of the machinery lowering them to the bottom of the hotel.
Elvis had some how turned the tables on her, reading her like an open book that would respond to abject vulnerability as he leaned down on to the trolley and looked up at her with needy, pitiful eyes.
“OK, honey you the boss, just don’t let ol’ Joe’s repulsive manners drive you away. We are starving.  Got any food in there I could have right now? ‘fore I go shower?”
“Ughhhh. Ok.” Alex shook her head back up at the tiled lights, and looked Elvis in the eyes. The black eyeliner around them made them shine brighter and sparkle in the bright florescent light of the elevator.
“OK, you’ll come back up?” He grinned. "Or, ok Elvis I got something I can put in your mouth right now?”
“Both.” Alex exhaled exasperatedly.
When the elevator doors opened, Ellie and Randy were greeted to the sight of Alex giggling as she held out a mini quiche and Elvis smacked lips open, leaning closer over the metal top of the catering trolley. “Go ‘head, honey, throw it in. I don’t bite.” Then he gnashed his teeth as she put the quiche on his tongue. “Muuuck” he said, mouth full of food.
Alex immediately jerked back, her smile dropping to a serious look as she told the others to follow back upstairs in the next elevator because the gig was back on.
*****************************************************
It was well past 3 a.m. when they got to the van and loaded up the equipment. Alex held Ellie tight in her arms while Randy warmed up the car, squeezing her as she wished her a happy birthday.
“I’m sorry we didn’t celebrate your birthday tonight.” Alex smoothed Ellie’s beautiful blonde hair. At ten years older, she had a perpetual idea of her sister as a little kid, but she wasn’t, she lived with her boyfriend and worked in a daycare. Alex had wanted Ellie to get out of Dayton, have the life she hadn’t been able to pull off. There was still time.
“It’s ok, Sasha, we’ll go out tonight, and it was worth it. I got to meet Elvis, he gave me this diamond ring.” She flashed up a golden band with a square top covered in diamonds and black stones. “And, we made seven thousand dollars -”
“Oy vey, no wonder his manager is tight, I completely sympathize with that man now. Ok, well, we have some extra for drinks tonight then.”
Waving as Randy drove the big van off,  Alex went to her car, then kicked her tire as she realized she’d left her notebook upstairs. Standing up straight, she sighed and turned to drag her body back inside and up the elevator. She smiled at the young guy standing at the door of the Presidential suite, and he winked with recognition.
“Hey, um, everybody’s left - it’s just him, in there, and um —”
Alex pushed passed him, rubbing the boy’s arm. “Don’t worry, I just have to grab something quick, in and out.”
The suite was dark and she almost didn’t see the bodies on the living area couch as she quickly darted towards the kitchen.
“Hey, who’s there?”
Alex turned to see Elvis stagger up, a gun in his hand and a blonde reclining below him on the couch.
“Oh, god, fuck, I’m sorry, I left someth—”
Elvis wild demeanor softened as Alex walked closer and a grin radiated over his face. “Oh, it’s you, food honey baby. What wasss ya name….Satch ya, right?”
“Only my family gets to call me that. It’s Alex otherwise.”
“Sho baby, come here Satcha ya, come here! Come hang out…. this is, this is, what’s ya name honey?”
The blonde slurred as she fell back. “Cherrreeeeee.”
Elvis sat down, slipping his derringer into his black boot, and patting the seat next to him. “‘is is Carrie, Carrie baby, like the soong.”
45 minutes ago, as they had began packing up, Elvis had been alert and wide awake, demonstrating karate to his guests. She had smiled over at him in amusement at this and the other eccentricities he had participated in over the course of the night, including singing gospel music and lecturing people on his own interpretations of the bible. Elvis had particularly liked the brisket sliders and potato fingers they had made, and Alex had found him beguilingly charming when he snuck into the back area of the kitchen asking for her to feed them to him because they were so good he couldn’t bear to wait for her to re-plate them.
“Just slip ‘em into the old feedbag right here, darlin’. Hmmm. Ya pretty good with meat, aintcha? MMmhmmm MM!” Alex had shook her head with a playful grin as he flirtatiously sucked the brisket juice off her finger.
Now he was completely the opposite: subdued and lethargic. Alex came to sit by him, and he pulled her onto his lap while she watched the girl next to him fall over, passed out.
“Is she ok?”
Elvis looked at the woman next to him, and then back up at Alex.
“Oh yeaahhhhh, don a worry bout that chick, she jus took a sleeping pill. It’ll help her quiet down. Get closer to God”
Alex raised her eyebrow and shook her head, a knowing pull in her stomach told her this was probably a bad idea, but Elvis’ hands pulled her closer and she followed. She smoothed Elvis dark bangs across his forehead, thne parted her lips to blow some of the more stubborn hair wisps away. He took her hand and kissed it.
“Do it again. Please.”
“What?” Alex steadied her self against his shoulder, watching as his eyelips fluttered open and closed.
“Blow onnnn meEEE… baby, your cool breafff felt gooow…” he muttered, his eye lids became visible heavy and heaver, drooping half way down over his eyes.
Alex stood, pulling him behind her. “Hmmm, let’s get you to bed.”
He followed her as she led him back to the bedroom, his hands gripping her waist. Books and guns were scattered around, and a glass award stood on the top of the dresser. She wondered if he had been presented with something at the concert that night.
“Kneew it. Jus came back cuzz ya wanted ta see me neked…” he chuckled, nuzzling into Alex’s neck as she tried to politely create space between her body and his mouth. She felt the slight heat of attraction to him because Elvis was charming. And handsome. And funny. And totally fucked up. It made her feel as though she was taking advantage of a drunk puppy she had found on the side of the road.
“You got me. It was my plan all along” She pushed him back on to his bed and turned to go, but he grabbed her.
“Stay… stay baby, don’t make me sleep alone.”
Alex looked to the door, and heard the loud snoring came from the living room. At least I know she’s alive.
“What about… your friend out there?”
“Who?”
“Um, Cherry?”
“Oh yeah.” Elvis sat up, and pulled Alex by her waist to him. “You naughty girl, you wanna bring her in to bed too? Like for a three.—”  before he could finish, Elvis’ eyes closed, and he fell back on to the bed.
Alex sighed, pulling off his shoes, and putting the gun in his boot over on the dresser. She came back to drag him up further, and straighten him over the pillows. Unfortunately this roused Elvis again, and he grabbed her arm as she tried to unbutton the top of the paisley dress shirt he'd put on after his shower.
“Please baby, please. Don a go.” He kissed the palm of her hand softly, drawing her toward him. Alex nodded.
“Ok. But no funny business.”
Elvis bent his chin in assent, but then his eyes rolled back, followed by his head. Alex took off her shoes and her pants, and curled up on the bed, at first turned inward to watch the man she had grown up seeing in movies and television shows breath slow, labored breaths. At some point she drifted off her self from the exhaustion of the day, stirring slightly when she felt a pair of large hands grasp around her waist and pull her into the warm body behind her.

Treat you Right
Mafia!Köing x OC
Author’s note: *deep sigh* you know that feeling of wanting to write any thought in your head? Yeah, that’s what this is. Idk if I want to make this a mini series or not, but it’s definitely more of an indulgence than anything else. A self-insert if you will. Cause I was at work and I was like “why not just make a self insert series?” Idk, I like have to get this out of my system.
So, it’s a self insert meaning…well me! It’s set in the modern times and well, it’s about Mafia!Koing who wants a sugar baby. Look, this might be stupid but I cannot stop thinking about it and I can’t really draw or I would be drawing Mafia!Koing all the freaking time lol.
Warnings: none that I can think of. Except my thirsty ass wanting Koing 😂 so maybe some light NSFW on my part.
********
*I knew this was a stupid ass idea.* Alicia thought as she sat awkwardly at the bar. The club was loud, hot, and smelled of sex and too much liquor. She was definitely out of her element as she sat at the bar, trying to not break down and cry from overstimulation and anxiety. Her friends that she came here with left her at the bar because she didn’t want to dance, too awkward and shy to even dance. The woman wasn’t exactly…small. Alicia was fat, she had a large stomach that slightly hung down, big thighs that became bigger when she sat down and arms that were flabby.
Did she try and work out and do all those diets, you bet your ass she did. She tried hard, but it was never enough. And with her five days straight of working at retail, it was hard to find the time. Especially since she worked night shift. Alicia was very much an introvert, a homebody. Preferring to stay at home and play games on her PC. So *why* was she here? Because she wanted to check the club box on her bucket list.
Growing up, the woman never really had friends. In fact, it was hard for her to make friends as she liked things that were typically for ‘nerds’ Anime, video games, wrestling, etc. So, going out and making friends was hard, especially since she didn’t really know how to talk to people. It has gotten much better since she graduated high school and college, making some friends but it never lasted after school. She had one best friend, but he was a complete asshole most of the time and while she loved to spend time around him, he was a guy. And she never really had any girl friends.
So coming out with friends from work was supposed to be a brilliant idea…until it wasn’t. She was uncomfortable with people touching her she didn’t know, uncomfortable in large crowds. It was like she didn’t really know how to…interact with others. Men usually didn’t want to talk to her because of how quiet she was…but she also had an idea as to why they didn’t look at her. Because she was unattractive. No man wanted to be with a bigger girl. The brunette looked more like her dad, he’s African American, dark skin and thick hair. Although he’s bald now, but she got his height, hair thickness and his smile. Her eyebrows are naturally thick, thicker than most but she likes them as it fits her face. Her mother is Puerto Rican, Alicia had her eyes and personality. As her mother was more introverted than her father.
Alicia had actually went out of her comfort zone to be here. She got all dolled up with new goddess braids that stopped at her mid back, make up and nails done. She even shaved *everything.* The miniskirt stopped at her mid thighs, but was riding up more as she sat on the stool. The top was just a regular black shirt, but the sleeves were short and it showed off a little of her belly. They were a little uncomfortable as she wasn’t used to wearing them along with the black kitten heels. But she wanted to look good and when she looked in the mirror earlier, she had confidence. But now…Alicia swallowed thickly, holding back tears of frustration and self pity. She was fed up with being left out and while she didn’t mind it some times, having it happen all the time was mentally draining.
Alicia sighed deeply, fidgeting with the half empty glass. She had one fruity drink but that was about it, not really feeling up to drinking anymore. *Might as well text James to pick me up.* she thought with a frown, knowing he was going to say “I told you so.” She took a few deep breaths to calm herself down, already feeling her throat start to tighten as she was close to tears.
“Why the sad face, kleine Maus?” A voice beside her made the woman flinch and she quickly looked to her right, only to gasp lightly as she had to look up at the tall man before her. The man standing beside her was quite *large.* He looked to be standing around 6’10, making her crane her neck to even look at him. The black suit he had on hugged his body in all the right places and she felt her mouth water at the thought of touching those large arms of his. He had a black surgical mask over his mouth, hiding most of his face. But, what really drew her in were his eyes. They were this gorgeous brown, almost black color that looked at her with…softness? Maybe something else, she couldn’t tell. He had dark brown hair which was shaved a little on the sides, making the top of his hair stand out. It had a nice look to it.
“O-oh! Um, do I look sad?” She stuttered out stupidly, not expecting anyone to even talk to her. This was the first man that had came up to her in the entire hour she was here.
He nodded lightly, eyes crinkling lightly and she knew he was smiling under the mask.
“Ja. I noticed you sitting here by yourself. Why is a pretty little thing like you by yourself?” She felt herself flush and tense, not really knowing what to say or do.
“Oh, um,” she had to look away from him and back down at her glass. “Kind of got left behind by some friends. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a club.” She had to project her voice a bit as the music was still pounding loudly above.
“Mm, then they aren’t your friends.” He moved to sit down beside her and she clenched her hand around the glass. *Crap, he’s sitting down next to me! What do I do?!* she panicked as she awkwardly kept her gaze on her glass.
“Ah, I don’t think so! They just wanted to dance and I didn’t want to so…yeah.” She lamely finished and cringed slightly. *I am such a lame. Can’t even talk to a cute guy…* she thought as she swallowed thickly.
“You are a very beautiful woman. You should have men swarming you.” Alicia couldn’t help but scoff softly, shaking her head lightly.
“Nah, if that were the case, I would have tons of guys numbers.” She muttered and glanced over at the man, feeling her heart skip a beat as he still had his eyes on her.
“I’m Köing.” He reached out with his big hand and she stared at it for a moment before turning and placed her hand in his.
“I’m Alicia, it’s nice to meet you, Köing.” Her breath hitched and she stared at him in pure shock as he lifted her hand to his clothed mouth, pressing a kiss to her knuckles.
“And it’s a pleasure to meet a woman as yourself. Would you like to go somewhere more quiet so we can talk?” Warning bells were going off in her head as she watched him, but that was just her paranoid self talking. He hadn’t done anything to make her uncomfortable. She nodded her head lightly “Sure!” She hoped she didn’t come off as eager, not really expecting anything out of it.
Köing stood up and helped her down from the stool. He placed a hand on the middle of her back, keeping her close as he guided her to the VIP section of the club and Alicia honestly couldn’t believe she was coming here. *Don’t people who have money come here?* thoughts moved through her head a mile an hour as she quickly glanced at the bodyguards who opened the red rope for them.
“Much better, I can hear your beautiful voice now, Alicia.” She liked the way he said her name, her heart beating fast and hard against her chest as she wiped her sweaty palms.
“Yea-yeah! It is much quieter back here.” She couldn’t help but stutter out of nerves as she was lead to a large booth. The VIP section was a little further in the back, but still could be seen from the bar. So, it wasn’t like she was in a closed off section.
“Um,” she started as she sat down, cringing at the leather against her thighs. Köing hummed softly, listening to her and she shifted nervously beside him.
“I ah…don’t really like…” she huffed softly, trying to get her words out “I’m not really like…a hooker or anything. So, I don’t really feel comfortable doing anything…” she had her purse in her lap, fidgeting with the white strap.
Köing was quiet as he looked down at her with surprise before he snorted and laughed. It was a nice, loud laugh and it made her jump in surprise. “Oh kleine maus, I didn’t bring you back here for that! I really did want to talk to you.” He laughed as he reached out to place a hand on her lower back.
Alicia stared up at him with surprise and slight disbelief. “Really?” She asked, feeling a little silly she even had to bring that up.
“Really. Unless you really wanted to do anything. I’m just here to talk.” He chuckled and she let out a deep sigh, relaxing more next to him.
“Oh, okay.” She smiled and he smiled down at her, his hand still on the small of her back, it was warm.
“Do you want anything to drink? Or eat?” He asked and she realized how hungry she actually was.
“Oh yeah, I can definitely eat.” She said and he chuckled as he nodded his head. “Alright, you can order anything you want.”
Tumblr media
“And she completely lost her shit because we couldn’t let her out the front door.” Alicia laughed as she leaned against Köing who chuckled at her story. “She sounded like such a bitch.” Alicia snickered and nodded her head.
“She was! All because she couldn’t go out through the front door, even though two managers had to tell her the doors only open one way.” She sighed out while snuggling more into his side. He smelled so good and she felt so comfortable around him. “Why don’t you look for another job?” He asked and the brunette sighed deeply, shaking her head lightly.
“I haven’t found anything. I’ve been applying and no one gets back to me.” She looked down at his arm around her waist and she reached down to take his hand, placing her hand against his. “So big…” she muttered and smiled as he closed his fingers with hers.
“Do you need any help?” His voice was quiet and she tilted her head to look up at him, surprise swirling in her eyes.
“Help? Like…money wise?” She asked and immediately thought of him becoming her sugar daddy. But then that would mean giving him sugar. She really wasn’t used to giving anyone kisses or anything. She kind of was a virgin, she knew of masturbating but it was more of clit orgasms.
“Yes, you don’t have to accept it now, just think about it.” He said as he leaned down to place a covered kiss on her cheek. She felt her cheeks become warm and shyly looked away. “Okay…um I’ll think about it.” She looked down as her phone began to ring and it was James.
“Oh my god! I didn’t realize how late it was!” She gasped, finally realizing the club was close to closing and James was waiting for her.
“You know what they say, time flies when you’re having fun.” He said and she laughed lightly, answering her phone.
“James! I am so sorry, I didn’t realize how late it was….yeah, I’m okay! I met someone. No! Asshole…yeah you can come pick me up now. Mhm…talk to you soon.” She hung up and sighed, not wanting to leave Köing so soon. “I really thought this night would be horrible…but it was nice. I had fun talking with you.” She smiled and felt a shiver go down her spine as those thick fingers went under her chin and lifted her head to look at him.
“And I had a nice time too, liebling. May I have your number?” He asked and she could hear the nervousness in his voice.
Alicia smiled and nodded her head “of course you can.” She happily said as she looked away and grabbed her phone, putting his name and gave her phone to him.
Alicia hummed happily as Köing gave her phone back, his phone number now in her phone. “He should be here in five minutes.” She said as she began putting her shoes back on then snuggled back up against Köing who chuckled softly.
“You’re so cute…can I kiss you?” He asked and she looked up at him, heart pounding against her chest. She swallowed thickly and nodded her head “yeah, you can.” She whispered and watched as he reached up to pull down his mask.
Now with his face fully exposed, she saw that handsome, with a Roman nose and a scar above his lip. “Wow…you’re so handsome…” she breathed and let out a small sound as he cupped her cheek. She was a little nervous, not really knowing what to do.
“Relax, kleine Maus, I’m not going to bite.” She gave a nervous giggle as she sat up a little, looking up at him with hooded eyes.
“Sorry…not used to being held this way.” Her voice was soft and he smiled.
“I’ll treat you right, Alicia.” She closed her eyes as their lips met, it was odd at first since she hadn’t kissed someone…ever. It was her first kiss, so she was getting used to it.
The woman made a soft sound as he pulled her onto his lap, she sighed in the kiss, shifting on his lap to become more comfortable. Their lips moved together in a dance only they would know and she liked it. She reached up to loosely wrap her arms around his broad shoulders, a soft giggle escaped her as he pulled her even closer. Alicia pulled away after a few seconds and bit her lip, looking up at him with a small smile.
He looked down at her like she was the only woman in the world and she liked that look. A lot.
“Wow…that was amazing. Can…I have another kiss?” He chuckled and leaned down to capture her lips in another soft kiss, holding her close to him. Alicia did feel him shift beneath her, gasping softly as she felt hips bulge press against her clothed pussy. She pulled away and looked up at him with surprise and he was actually blushing but didn’t look away.
“Sorry, libeling. You’re so beautiful and soft I can’t help it.” Alicia swallowed again as she could feel the warmth shooting straight to her pussy but decided this was definitely not the place for her first time.
“It’s okay, can we stop here?” She asked and was grateful when he nodded his head and let her get off of him.
“I’m sorry, I…want to get to know you better before I go any farther. But I do like the kisses.” She happily said as she fixed her skirt and stepped back as he stood up. He smiled down at her and leaned down to give her a kiss on the cheek.
“I understand. I don’t want you to think I’m just using you. I would like to get to know you better too.”

Alicia was giddy all night as she finally got home, humming happily as she laid in bed with her large squish mellow next to her.
Köing ended up giving her $500 in cash just because he had fun with her. Her eyes almost popped out of her head when he gave it to her, she wanted to give it back saying it was too much, but he insisted.
*so he is my sugar daddy I guess?* she thought as she rolled over and held her squishmellow to her chest, yawning widely as she began to drift off. But her phone dinged and she turned around to grab it off the night stand.
Köing ❤️: I had a lot of fun tonight, liebling, when are you free next?
Me: me too, Köing! I’m free Sundays and Mondays since I work Tuesdays through Saturdays. Retail sucks :(
Köing ❤️: aw, I know, libeling, but we can do something Sunday. I can take you out to a restaurant downtown.
Me: that sounds like a lot of fun! How does 1 sound for you?
Köing ❤️: ja, that is perfect. I’ll see you Sunday. Sleep well, Alicia.
Me: you too Köing!
Alicia placed her face in the pillow and squealed, kicking her feet on the bed. She couldn’t believe this was happening! This Sunday she would be going out with Köing. “Wait…! I need something cute to wear. Mmmm, I’ll call in tomorrow to go shopping.” She yawned as she plugged her phone back up and turned over. This was one hell of a night, she was glad she got out of her comfort zone and went to the club.

hi! i'm sorry if this is a bit random but i wanted to know if the process of college aplications is hard in the US ?? in my coutry we only do one big exam and the higher the grade the more courses and universities you can pick from ( like, for medicine you need 900 on this test but for music you only need 400)
oh GOD okay you're gonna set me on a bit of a rant bc i have so much to say about college apps here,,,, it's so horrible 😭😭 (nothing against your ask lmao, i'm down to talk abt how much us college apps suck ANY TIME)
so im just gonna split this up into types of college, expectations of colleges, and what we actually have to do to apply:
so there's a bunch of different types of colleges with varying levels of prestige, which is what's really important here. to get into community college, you just need to graduate college and send in an application! but the problem here is that a lot of people look down on that option, and especially with parents, there's a lot of pressure to get into a "good" (high-ranking) college. there are people who will do literally anything to get into an ivy league. but that's neither here nor there, the point is: when you're trying to get into college in the us, the process can actually be very easy, but most people (including myself) choose to make it harder for themselves. partly bc of better opportunities, internships, extracurriculars that are offered in higher-ranked colleges, partly because of the "college experience", or partly just because their parents/friends/counselors/media (have you ever heard of a not uc or ivy league talked about in tv shows??? very little at least, and if you have, it was probably a college that was ALSO super prestigious with a 3% acceptance rate) pressured them into it and make them think that they'll never make it in life if they choose community college.
now onto expectations - again, this depends on the type of college that you're trying to get into. but for the purpose of this entire thing, i'm gonna be talking about how hard the college app process is when you're trying to get into like a high-ranked college with a small acceptance rate. so many colleges these days are down to like 5% acceptance rates, and that's ridiculous. but anyway, they accept you based on a weird combination of gpa, extracurriculars, essays, SAT score (optional in some colleges), recommendation letters, and intensity of your workload.
that means you don't just need to get good grades in high school, and you don't just need to do important things outside of hs. it's not a make or break thing to just have like one b or something, but *so* many people applying to these prestigious colleges have all a's, run five clubs, do three sports, and take all ap/honors classes (aka really hard college-level classes).
OKAY NOW ONTO THE ACTUAL COLLEGE APP PROCESS LMAO:
so the main thing we use is what's called the "common app" and essentially you submit your application, and then you pay fees and choose which colleges you want to apply to. problem is, not all colleges are part of this common app, some colleges want supplemental essays, and every college you apply to has a ridiculous fee.
so first you have to choose the colleges you want to apply to (usually a range of like 5-15), and divide them into 'safeties', 'targets', and 'reaches'. safeties are the ones you can definitely get into, targets are ones where you match most other applicants who got in, and reaches are like. all the ivy leagues and other top-ranked colleges. this whole process in the first place is a ridiculously long college because there are over 1k colleges in the common app, and even more outside of the common app. for example, all uc's (universities of california) have their own separate application form. a bunch of other colleges also decide they want to be special and have their own application.
once you do that, you need to write an essay for the common app. and another few supplemental essays for colleges who wanna give you a harder time. and different essays for uc's if youre applying there (sorry, being from california, i just know a bit more abt uc's, idk if it's different on the east coast or anywhere else). then you create a list of every single extracurricular you did in your hs years and choose which ones are most important, show leadership, passion, and interest in your chosen major. it's basically a resume of ur hs career. you need to get a letter of rec from two of your teachers and your counselor, and you will most likely also take the SAT or ACT (two standardized tests. lots of schools have it optional now, but it's still a big deal in some colleges - often, though, you'll even take that test several times to get a good score).
and then repeat that for any colleges not part of the common app that you want to apply to
and THEN. youre done with your college application! except youre also spending that entire time working on essays/applications for scholarships and filling out a FASFA form (financial aid) because colleges are EXPENSIVE AS HELL. like, just from a california standpoint, the cheapest UC tuition is ucla, with a tuition of $15k for in-state students and $45k for out of state, not including your living situation (and trust when housing will never be cheap in la).
so, yeah. that's the general gist of it all. i probably skimmed over some things and forgot some, but!! im in hell and college apps are the literal worst here😭

Guts Prompt List
100 prompts for Guts by Olivia Rodrigo, practice good reblog karma and send a prompt or two to the person you reblog this from
I forgive and I forget
I know my age and I act like it
Got what you can't resist, I’m a perfect all-American bitch
I know my place and this is it
I don't get angry when I'm pissed, I'm the eternal optimist
All the time, I'm grateful all the time
I'm sexy and I'm kind, I'm pretty when I cry
Haven't heard from you in a couple of months, but I'm out right now and I'm all fucked up
And I know we're done, I know we're through, but, God, when I look at you
I should probably, probably not
Seeing you tonight, it’s a bad idea, right?
Seeing you tonight, fuck it, it's fine
Yes, I know that he's my ex but can't two people reconnect?
I only see him as a friend, the biggest lie I ever said
I just tripped and fell into his bed
And I told my friends I was asleep but I never said where or in whose sheets
And I'm sure I've seen much hotter men but I really can't remember when
Hate to give the satisfaction asking how you're doing now
How's the castle built off people you pretend to care about
I see the parties and the diamonds sometimes when I close my eyes
Six months of torture you sold as some forbidden paradise
I loved you truly, you gotta laugh at the stupidity
Cause I've made some real big mistakes but you make the worst one look fine
I used to think I was smart but you made me look so naïve
Bloodsucker, famefucker, bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire
Every girl I ever talked to told me you were bad, bad news
Oh, what a mesmerizing, paralyzing, fucked up little thrill
Went for me and not her cause girls your age know better
You said it was true love but wouldn't that be hard?
You can't love anyone cause that would mean you had a heart
Aren't you the sweetest thing on this side of Hell?
It's like you're made of angel dust
Yeah, I despise my rotten mind and how much it worships you
And I don't think I get along with anyone
I'm on the outside of the greatest inside joke
Feels like my skin doesn't fit right over my bones
The party's done, and I'm no fun, I know, I know
I broke a glass, I tripped and fell, I told secrets I shouldn't tell
I laughed at the wrong time, sat with the wrong guy
Everythin' I do is tragic
Want it, so I got it, did it, so it's done
Another thing I ruined, I used to do for fun
Another day pretendin' I'm older than I am
Another perfect moment that doesn't feel like mine
Well, sometimes I feel like I don't wanna be where I am
Push away all the people who know me the best
I'm so tired of bein' the girl that I am
And I'm playin' the victim so well in my head
And I tell someone I love them just as a distraction
They tell me that they love me like I'm some tourist attraction
I got the things I wanted, it's just not what I imagined
Master manipulator, god, you're so good at what you do
Come for me like a savior and I'd put myself through hell for you
And now you got me thinking two plus two equals five and I'm the love of your life
You built a giant castle with walls so high, I couldn't see
The way it all unraveled and all the things you did to me
Said I was too young, I was too soft
Can't take a joke, can't get you off
I know I'm half responsible and that makes me feel horrible
I know I could've stopped it all, God, why didn't I stop it all?
I met a guy in the summer and I left him in the spring
Another song, another club, another bar, another dance
So I miss him some nights when I'm feeling depressed
Do I love him? Do I hate him? I guess it's up and down
I wanna get him back, I wanna make him really jealous, wanna make him feel bad
Cause then again, I really miss him and it makes me real sad
Oh, I want sweet revenge and I want him again, I want to get him back
So I write him all these letters, then I throw them in the trash
But I am my father's daughter, so maybe I could fix him
I wanna key his car, I wanna make him lunch, I wanna break his heart, then be the one to stitch it up
He's gonna love me and hate me at the same time
I told my friends you were the one after I'd known you like a month
God, love's fucking embarrassing
And I consoled you while you cried over your ex-girlfriend's new guy
I'm plannin' out my wedding with some guy I'm never marryin'
I'm givin' up, I'm givin' up but I keep comin' back for more
One phone call from you and my entire world was changed
Trust that you betrayed, confusion that still lingers
My undying love, now I hold it like a grudge
And I hear your voice every time that I think I'm not enough
And I try to be tough, but I wanna scream how could anybody do the things you did so easily?
And I say I don't care, I say that I'm fine but you know I can't let it go
It takes strength to forgive, but I don't feel strong, it takes strength to forgive, but I'm not quite sure I'm there yet
The arguments that I have won against you in my head
I fantasize about a time you're a little fucking sorry
You built me up to watch me fall
I started to skip lunch, stopped eatin' cake on birthdays
There's always something in the mirror that I think looks wrong
When pretty isn't pretty enough, what do you do?
You can win the battle but you'll never win the war, fix the things you hated and you'd still feel so insecure
It's in my phone, it's in my head, it's in the boys I bring to bed
I chased some dumb ideal my whole fucking life
And none of it matters and none of it ends, you just feel like shit over and over again
When am I gonna stop being wise beyond my years and just start being wise?
When am I gonna stop being a pretty young thing to guys?
When am I gonna stop being great for my age and just start being good?
Got your whole life ahead of you, you're only nineteen, but I fear that they already got all the best parts of me
And I'm sorry that I couldn't always be your teenage dream
Will I spend all the rest of my years wishing I could go back?
They all say that it gets better, it gets better, but what if I don't?
