AN: I feel like screaming. This has been in my drafts for more than a year when the 'Everything' MV came out. The MV broke me and I was a crying mess. If y'all couldn't tell, my bias is jongho and I have seen that there are not that many good jongho fics in any platform. So I have taken the initiative. (Even tho idk if it's good or not) Anyway if y'all wanna be tagged just reply with your @ . AND please reblog and like it helps me a lot. I kinda fucked up the ending so y'all are free to imagine whatever the fuck y'all want
Nassau, an island which was claimed by the crew of Halazia. The ship was giant and very beautiful as well.
One slight issue,
It's a pirate ship
The pirates of the Halazia are the most feared of them all. They are known for not having any mercy towards any ship they come across.
Yes, even the ones with a white flag.
But Nassau is an island which is owned by them, so it is common for the people living near the harbor to see them come and go.
I, however lived further in the town, so I have never really seen them. Not that I want to as well. I'm scared they might kill me.
Though I doubt that will happen cause they have never really killed any innocent here in Nassau. Not that I've heard that is.
Waking was hard. Going to greet the family was harder. Answering their dumb questions was the hardest.
They say the youngest kid is always the most loved of them all. Not in our case.
We are big on family. And the worst part? We all live in the same plot, but in different houses. Me, being the youngest child in the house, I'm a personal punching bag.
Stuffs like "your brothers are doing so good, you need to follow them aswell" and "your brothers and sister have taken majors in science, you will too I hope" were normal to me.
Ever since I was young, my mom taught me.
If you wanna live in this house without getting called out every time, you have to fake a smile. Please everyone, child. Because of your father, you have to please everyone.
That was then, but now she has changed. She was forced to do so by these monsters in the name of people. I kinda miss her…
I heard my name being called. Looking at the source I saw my mom.
"I know you just woke up but, can you go to the port market and get us some things?"
"Mom, I just woke up..."
"Listen to your mom kid"
I looked at the source, great, my other aunt. Blinded by the pride of marrying a rich doctor, she thinks she is the head of the family, although she is the youngest sibling of my dad.
"yes yes, she will go, won't you kid?" her eyes pleaded to me, not wanting her child to be scolded in the morning.
"yes ma"
I took the money and left.
Being the youngest, I was always called "kid" or "child". It's weird I know, but i don't even care anymore.
The market's a bit far. I have to cross a little outskirt of a jungle. Though I don't have to cross the jungle, it's still a bit scary. But it's dawn, so it's alright right now.
After the jungle, a little walk by some alleyways and then it's the market!
The market was one of my favorite places to be in. Just look at it! It's so lively and colourful. It's so nice that it can make me forget about home for some time.
Ok let's check the list of items. Chili powder, parsley, biscuits and rum.
Hah! That stupid uncle of mine! How can he make a young girl like me buy alcohol early in the morning?!
I eventually got all the supplies and also got the rum. The shopkeeper was my dad's and uncles's friend so he gave me the rum I wanted, but I doubt he would've if he didn't know me. I mean come on, who gives alcohol to a young girl?!
"That will be ten bronze kid"
I handed him the money when suddenly I heard a high pitched laugh
"jongho, at least try to bargain once in your life! Do you or do you not want to save money??"
Looking in the direction, I saw two men. One has black hair, the other one has black and white hair.
What a strange hair colour...aren't his parents dissapointed?
Both of them are dressed in big tunics and black leather pants. The tunics loosely tucked in their pants.
"shopkeeper-nim, can we get this rum?"
The oreo guy handed the shopkeeper a note, seemingly a list.
"No mates, the last one was taken by this lady here"
He pointed at me. Damn dawg why you gotta throw me under the bus?
It was now when the two men looked at me.
"Aren't you too young to drink?"
"Land Ahoy!!!!"
The booming voice of the first mate who is also the quarter master, can be heard from below the deck. He had just spotted an island. Their island,
Nassau.
Beautiful island, with beautiful people and beautiful owners.
hehe
"Mingi, drop the anchor!"
"done!"
"captain, we need to scavenge", the quartermaster and first mate of Halazia, Seonghwa stated to their captain, the one and only, Hongjoong.
"I'm aware. Is the scavenger team ready?"
"I have already concerned Wooyoung, him and his team are ready to go"
"Good"
"Captain!"
The captain and quartermaster flinched by the voice of the surgeon.
"San! You unruly swine! What if the the captain got scared and let go of the helm?!", the quartermaster scolded the younger guy.
"Seonghwa do you mean that I get scared by small things?"
The two of the other males in the room nodded.
"all of you are scared cats"
"Bitch-"
All three males in the room flinch by the sudden intruder.
"Yunho, do you want me to order Yeosang to cut of your hair in your sleep?"
"Captain it was a joke!!"
"Anyways, captain, I came here to inform you that Mingi needs materials to fix the ship, however, he has work to do, so someone has to go on land with Wooyoung to get the supplies", San, the surgeon states.
The captain has now successfully ported the ship and now can let go of the helm. He turned to his crew and told them to follow him. And he went towards the maindeck.
"Send Jongho. He does not have any work for the time being"
"ok!"
San sprinted away almost in a comical way while muttering something which sounded suspiciously like a "smooth operator~"
The battlemaster was in the arms locker. The giant locker was home to weapons for the battlemaster as well as guns for the master gunner, Yunho.
The battlemaster, Jongho, was busy cleaning his swords. Call him a clean freak but he needs to clean all his swords and cutlasses. Not because he is a clean freak, it's cuz a certain someone will scold him if he does not.
"Do you wanna build a snowman?"
"San are you a child?"
The first mate gets inside the locker and sits beside the younger male.
"I am not, but I know a certain someone is though"
"You swine"
The crew of the Halazia is known as the scariest crew outside, but inside the ship, they all are one braincell sharing idiots.
"Anyways, captain ordered you to do to port and get some stuff with wooyoung-ie" The younger boy looked at the first mate with his boba eyes. "what stuff?"
"mingi needs some stuff to repair the broken and probably for his new invention and shit"
"Ok then”
“meat, coriander, honey, alcohol and maybe some broccoli for the soups"
"Wooyoung, why do you need alcohol? Are you gonna drink again?"
The cook of Halazia, wooyoung and the young battlemaster, jongho are set out for an adventure, an adventure to find the specific kind of alcohol for the surgeon of the ship, San.
"What? No! I am getting it because Sanie asked me to!
This morning, San had barged in the kitchen and asked wooyoung to get a special kind of rum, which helps to clean cuts.
Yeah the young boys have no idea how to find it…
"aren't you too young to drink?" jongho asked the girl they just came across in the shop.
The girl didn't say anything and just stayed silent.
"jongho-ya you scared the poor girl"
"No I did no-"
"you can have it"
Both the males looked at the young girl. She has her hand out and in her hand resides the rum bottle.
"You can have it"
"No no we ca-" jongho was cut of by wooyoung. "sure we'll take it! How much was it again?"
"ten bronze"
Wooyoung handed the girl ten bronze and was about to take off, but jongho held him back feeling guilty. I mean come on, the girl probably had her own hardships buying it, and then she got harassed by his hyung.
The younger guy went and handed 5 more bronze. The girl merely looked at his hand confused.
"sorry, he is just immature"
The girl however still remained silent and immobile.
Jongho waited a few seconds and then took the girl's hand and placed the coins there.
"thank you and...Sorry"
The girl looked at the coins and then looked at him. And then she said "I don't need these extra coins, but in return, you both have to go and buy the alcohol for me”
They do it for the girl. The two men are now inside another store, away from the previous. This store is the only other store which sells alcohol here in the port market. But the owner of this shop doesn't know your dad or uncle, so he will not give alcohol to her as she's a girl. So she cleverly asked the two men to go inside and buy it for her.
Wooyoung hands you the additional bottle of rum with a dramatic flourish, a smirk on his face. "Here you go, little one. Consider this our way of helping you out." He smiles at me, while Jongho looks on, a hint of amusement in his eyes.
You look at him giving you two bottles when you asked for one. “I only needed one tho.....”
"We added one more. Consider it a gift from us. Just... don't tell anyone we did this, alright? We'd be in real trouble if anyone knew” Wooyoung said as he put the bottles in your bag properly. You nod at him slightly.
Wooyoung smiles slightly at your nod "Smart girl. And hey... what's your name? I'm wooyoung, that's jongho. Seems like Nassau's been tough on you, hasn't it? If you ever need anything else-"
jongho slightly nudges him to stop and get back to work. He gently pushes Wooyoung aside before he can offer any more unsolicited kindness to the girl. The last thing they need right now is rumors spreading about us befriending locals.
Jongho shoots Wooyoung a warning look before turning his attention back to you "Remember what we said - keep quiet about this. And stay out of trouble, yeah? Nassau's not safe for little ones like you-" he catches himself realizing how condescending that sounded "-Like-”
“Little ones?” You were offended. You hated when someone called you little. It triggered you so much. You family calling you ‘kid’, ‘child’ was enough, you don't need these two weirdos calling you little.
He sighs, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly "You know what I mean. Young. Innocent. Uninvolved in pirate life. Just... be careful, alright? We don't want anything happening to anyone”
You wanted to ask why they were so interested in pirate life but they were already turning back.
As Wooyoung and him walk away, jongho can't shake the feeling that he has made things awkward between them and the girl. He glances back over his shoulder, noticing her standing there, holding the extra bottle of rum like a precious treasure. "Woo, did you see that?”
Wooyoung follows his gaze, a thoughtful expression on his face "Aye, I did. She's a tough one, ain't she? For a little thing, she's got guts." He pauses, then adds in a lower tone
"And she's got a way of getting under your skin, too. Mark my words, Jongho - that girl's going to cause us trouble one day." He chuckles to himself, but there's a hint of seriousness beneath his words.
"Let's just hope it's the good kind of trouble.”
Back in the ship, the surgeon, San runs up to them, asking them what took them so long. Woo replied "we had to fight a little girl for the last bottle of rum”. San raises a concerned eyebrow.
“In what world do ‘little girl' and ‘rum’ co-operate in one sentence? That sounds highly inappropriate”
Jongho sighs and shakes his head disapprovingly at Wooyoung's exaggeration. "Don't go spreading tales now. We weren't fighting anyone." He glances at San with weary eyes. "Just... ran into a stubborn lady on an errand.”
San raises an eyebrow skeptically, but his lips twitch in amusement. "'Stubborn lady,' huh? Sounds like someone's been distracted by pretty eyes and a cute face." He teasingly pokes Jongho in the ribs.
Wooyoung covered his mouth with his hands dramatically and replied "no wonder he was not cold but gentle towards the girl. I knew you had it in you!”
Jongho rolls his eyes, trying to maintain his composure despite San's teasing. "Shut it, San. It's not like that. We just didn't want any trouble, that's all." He shoots Wooyoung a warning look, silently telling him to keep his mouth shut.
But it was true, he felt that those eyes held sadness. He has seen war, he has been in dilemmas and has fought with his inner urges. He knows what loneliness looks like. and he saw that in those girl's dull eyes. He stands on the deck watching the sunset paint the sky in fiery hues, but he can't help but replay the encounter with the girl in his mind. The ache in her eyes, the defiance in her stance - it echoes the battles he's fought within himself.
He remembers the way the girl stood her ground, refusing to back down even when faced with two grown pirates.
As the captain, Hongjoong managed more than just his crew; he also oversaw a network of loan sharks. These were the people he trusted with his money, providing them the means to distribute loans in exchange for a share of the profits. Now, it was time to settle. A meeting with the loan sharks of Nassau was pending, and Hongjoong intended to reclaim what was rightfully his.
Rather than meeting on neutral ground, Hongjoong and Seonghwa decided to summon the loan sharks to their ship. It was a calculated move, one that ensured the meeting would take place on their terms and under their control. (Hot men)
The captain’s quarters were cold and dark, the flickering lantern casting shadows across Hongjoong’s features. Seonghwa stood by the door, arms crossed and expression hard, his presence as commanding as the captain’s. The loan sharks shifted uneasily before them, knowing this was not a meeting to be taken lightly.
The lead shark hesitated before speaking, his voice shaking slightly. “Captain, there’s been… a complication.”
Hongjoong leaned forward, his eyes cold “A complication?” he repeated, his voice low and dangerous. “Explain.”
“A man we loaned money to—he fled,” the shark stammered. “Disappeared without paying a single coin. He left behind his wife and daughter in Nassau.”
Hongjoong’s jaw tightened, his fingers curling into a fist on the table. “And you let him run?”
“We didn’t know he would,” the shark blurted out, his words tumbling over each other. “He seemed reliable, Captain. A merchant with steady work. But one day, he was gone, just like that.”
“And the family?” Seonghwa cut in, his tone sharp and unforgiving.
“They’re still in Nassau,” the shark admitted. “The wife claims she doesn’t know where he went, and they’ve got nothing left. No way to repay the debt.”
Hongjoong’s gaze darkened. “You mean to tell me you came here with excuses, no money, and no solutions?”
The shark shrank back, sweat glistening on his forehead. “Captain, we—we thought we could pressure the wife. Maybe—” He hesitated, but Hongjoong’s glare pushed him to continue. “Maybe take their belongings or… use them to draw him out.”
The room fell silent. Seonghwa stepped forward, his voice like steel. “Use them?” he echoed, his lips curling into a cold smirk knowing what his captain will suggest next, “You’re suggesting we drag a woman and her child into this mess because you couldn’t do your job?”
The shark flinched, his voice barely a whisper. “It was just an idea.”
Hongjoong stood, the sudden movement making the shark jump. He leaned across the table, his voice venomous. “Ideas like that will get you killed. You don’t lay a hand on them unless I give the order. Do you understand me?”
The shark nodded frantically, his face pale. “Y-Yes, Captain.”
“But you will go back,” Hongjoong continued, his tone playful but colder now. “You will visit the wife, and you will remind her that the debt doesn’t disappear just because her husband ran. Make sure she understands this is her last chance to cooperate. If she knows where he is, she had better start talking.”
“And if she doesn’t?” the shark asked hesitantly.
Seonghwa’s smirk widened, but his eyes remained icy. “Then you make it clear what happens when people cross Captain Hongjoong. Let her know the weight of the debt will fall heavier if her husband doesn’t show his face soon.”
Hongjoong straightened, his eyes burning into the shark’s. “You don’t come back empty-handed again. Bring me the man, or bring me something of equal value. Do I make myself clear?”
The sharks nodded in unison, fear etched into their faces.
“Good,” Hongjoong said curtly. “Now get out of my sight.”
As the door slammed shut behind them, Seonghwa glanced at the captain. “You think the wife knows something?"
“If she does, fear will make her speak,” Hongjoong replied coldly. “And if she doesn’t, it’ll push the coward into the open. Either way, we get what we’re owed.”
He thinks for a second and then says “ you know what, I don't trust these parasites. Send a mule after them, give me every detail of what they do from now on”
The shark’s anger simmered as he stormed through the winding streets of Nassau. Hongjoong’s threats still echoed in his ears, and his humiliation burned deep. To him, the blame lay squarely with the woman and her child.
“They’ve made fools of us,” growled the shark, his fists clenched. “It’s her fault the captain’s breathing down our necks. If we can’t touch them, we’ll make sure she understands what it means to cross us.”
When he reached the small house with two of his acquaintances, they found it quiet and dimly lit. The lead shark pounded on the door with enough force to make the frame rattle. After a moment, the door creaked open, revealing the wife. Her face paled when she saw the sharks, but she held her ground.
“What do you want now?” she asked, her voice strong but trembling.
The lead shark sneered, pushing the door open wider. “Your lies have caused us enough trouble. We’re done playing games.”
She took a step back, clutching the edge of the door. “I’ve told you everything I know. My husband is gone. I can’t give you what I don’t have.”
Another shark, a burly man with a cruel glint in his eye, stepped forward. “Your daughter—where is she?”
“She’s not here,” the wife said quickly, fear flashing across her face. “She’s out.”
The lead shark smirked, leaning closer. “Good. That makes this easier.”
Before the wife could react, the sharks forced their way inside. She stumbled back, panic flooding her as they loomed over her.
“You’re coming with us,” the lead shark said coldly.
“You can’t do this,” she stammered, her voice breaking. “We’re not hurting you,” the burly shark replied with a twisted grin. “We’re just taking you somewhere else to have a little… conversation.”
Despite her protests, they grabbed her arms and dragged her out of the house, their grip firm but not brutal. She screamed and struggled, but no one was there as they hauled her through the streets and into the shadows of Nassau.
____
You push open the door to your house, expecting the usual comfort of your mother's voice or the warmth of a home filled with the scent of a meal being prepared. But instead, there was silence.
“Mom?” you call out, your voice echoing slightly. You set down the basket of bread and vegetables, but there’s no answer. The quiet stretches on, oppressive, like something’s wrong.
You move through the house, checking the rooms one by one, but it’s empty. There’s no sign of her. Panic starts to creep into your chest, tightening with each passing moment.
As you were looking, you felt someone cover your mouth in a vise-like grip as you trie to claw at him. His thick mustache curls upwards in a cruel sneer. "And what do we have here? The little birdie come back to her nest?”
You try hard to free yourself.
“You think you can run from us?” he sneered, shoving you forward with enough force to stumble you. “You and your mother have been causing enough trouble, little girl. But don’t worry, we’ll make sure you both learn your place soon enough.”
You kick his knees and manage to break free. Just as you reach for the door handle, a large hand cracks across your face, sending you stumbling down. Pain explodes across your cheek and you fall to the floor, dazed and crying. The man looms over you, his fist raised for another blow. "You little brat!”
"Stop!" The lead shark's voice barks out sharply, staying in the second man's hand mid-air. Through your terrified tears, you see him approaching you, his heavy boots thudding against the wooden floor.
“We don’t need more bruises on this pretty little face yet,” he says, his voice almost… amused. His hand lifts, but instead of striking, he just touches the side of your face, his fingers cold and rough against your skin.
You wince, instinctively trying to pull away, but his grip tightens, holding you in place. “Listen closely, little bird,” he continues, his voice dark and low. “We need you to understand something. Your father’s debt? It’s a problem. And we’re not leaving here until we get our money back.”
Your stomach churns at the mention of your father. You try to keep your voice steady, but it cracks. “I don’t know where he is.”
“Yeah, we know,” he replies with a dry laugh, his grip loosening just a little. “Your father’s a coward. He runs and leaves you two behind to clean up his mess.” He leans down, his face just inches from yours. “But that doesn’t matter. Captain Hongjoong’s been clear. We take what’s ours. And you?” His smirk widens. “You’re gonna help us make that happen.”
His words make your blood run cold. Hongjoong. You’d heard of him—his name was spoken with fear and respect, but never this way. They’re using your family as leverage, a pawn in their game, all because of your father’s debt.
“They need you to make sure your father gets the message,” the lead shark continues, standing back up, pacing slowly around you like a predator. “We can’t hurt you… yet. But we’re going to make sure you’re a reminder. Captain Hongjoong is waiting for results. And if that means bringing you along to make your father see reason, then that’s what we’ll do.”
Hongjoong sat in his quarters, staring at the report he had just received from the mule. His eyes narrowed as the words settled in. The sharks had gone against his direct orders, overstepping their boundaries, and now he had to deal with the consequences. The anger bubbled inside him, a sharp, cold rage that left no room for hesitation.
He stood up, the weight of his frustration pressing on him. He couldn’t allow anyone to defy him, especially not when it came to matters as serious as this. The sharks had been sent to handle the situation, to get back the money they were owed—but they’d taken it too far. Taking the girl and her mother? That wasn’t part of the deal.
Seonghwa, who had been standing nearby, watching his captain closely, didn’t need to ask what was wrong. He’d seen this side of Hongjoong before—when his calm, controlled demeanor slipped, and the storm beneath came to the surface.
“Prepare Jongho and Yunho,” Hongjoong said, his voice low but filled with authority. “I want them to investigate. I want to know exactly what those sharks did, and I want them to fix this. I’ll have no one undermining my orders.”
Seonghwa nodded, turning to leave, but Hongjoong stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.
“Make sure it’s handled quietly,” Hongjoong added, his gaze steely. “We don’t need any more attention than we already have. And if they’ve done something unforgivable… make sure they know who’s in charge.”
Jongho, the Battle Master, was known for his strength and discipline. He’d follow orders without hesitation, but it was his ability to keep a level head in intense situations that Hongjoong trusted most. Yunho, the Master Gunner, had a sharp eye for details and a quick wit. Together with a few loyal crew members, they’d get to the bottom of this—and if the sharks had crossed a line, they’d deal with it swiftly.
Jongho and Yunho stood by the edge of the ship, the salty breeze tugging at their hair as they discussed their next move.
Yunho crossed his arms, leaning against the railing. “So, we’re going to investigate what those sharks did… and if they’ve really messed up, we’re supposed to clean up their mess?” He raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
Jongho, standing beside him, shook his head with a chuckle. “Seems like it. I don’t think Captain Hongjoong’s happy that they went rogue. Taking the girl and her mother? That’s a whole new level of stupid.” He sighed, glancing out at the horizon.
“I mean, we’re talking about a bunch of thugs who can’t follow orders. What’s next? Are they going to steal the moon?”
Yunho snorted. “If they tried, I’d pay good money to see it. But seriously, jongho, this is a mess. We’ve got to figure out how to handle this without making it worse. The last thing we need is a full-blown war with the sharks because they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves.”
Jongho chuckled darkly. “Yeah, because Hongjoong’s ‘fixing problems quietly’ approach works out so well, right?” He paused. “Let’s just hope these sharks haven’t completely pissed him off. I don’t think even we could smooth things over if he’s really that angry.”
He then grinned. “I’ll make sure to bring some extra bandages, just in case.”
Yunho shot him a sideways glance. “What, you think we’re going to knock some sense into them with our fists?”
“Wouldn’t be the first time,” Jongho replied, giving him a smile. “Though, I prefer it when the problem just gets solved with a good ol' conversation. You know, like ‘Hey, don’t take the girl, or I’ll break your legs.’”
Yunho let out a dry laugh. “Sounds like a great ‘conversation’ to me.”
He then smirked at jongho and said, “But you know, I’m always ready to put some holes in bastards. Let’s get to work.” (See what I did there? ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
The air was thick with tension as Jongho and Yunho made their way to the den. They had gathered all the intel they needed and were now ready to end this. The sharp tang of saltwater in the air mixed with the musty, oppressive smell of the building, and Jongho’s grip tightened around the hilt of his sword.
“You ready?” Yunho asked, his voice low, scanning the area.
“Yeah, let’s go,” Jongho replied, his tone steadier than he felt. They moved quickly, slipping through the shadows toward the back entrance of the den. The door creaked open under Jongho’s steady push, and they silently entered.
Jongho and Yunho moved like shadows, circling around the room, eyes scanning for the girl. The moment their eyes met, Jongho felt his heart stop. There she was—tied to a chair, her head lowered. Her breathing was shallow, and her hands were bound tight, but she was alive. She looked up at him, her eyes widening.
Jongho felt his chest tighten. He was shocked. Not because this was her. The same girl he had seen in the market, and now here she was, in the middle of this chaos, helpless. But because he still remembered her vividly. He has never remembered anyone's face other than ill intent. This made his heart do something he didn't like.
He was about to rush forward when Yunho grabbed his arm. “Stay focused,” Yunho muttered, his eyes scanning the sharks. “We’ll get her, but we need to take them down first.”
Jongho nodded, his heart racing. He knew Yunho was right—they couldn’t let their guard down. The sharks were too dangerous, and they had to be neutralized quickly.
In one fluid motion, Yunho drew his gun and fired, sending one of the sharks crashing to the ground. The noise startled the rest of the men, and chaos erupted. Jongho lunged forward, his sword cutting through the air with precision. Each swing was met with resistance, but he wasn’t slowing down.
The fight was quick but brutal, the room filled with the sounds of swords clashing and bodies hitting the ground. Jongho’s eyes searched the girl, and as soon as the last shark was down, he rushed to her side.
“Hold on,” he said, his voice softer now, as he cut through her ropes. She winced slightly as he freed her wrists, but she didn’t say a word—her eyes were locked on him, full of both fear and relief.
“You’re safe now,” Jongho said, his heart pounding as he helped her to her feet. But as he looked down at her, his heart skipped a beat. Her face was streaked with dried tears and blood, she had a busted lip and a bloodied injury on the side of her head. He realized then that this wasn’t just about the mission anymore. There was something about her that tugged at him, something deeper than just a rescue.
She looked up at him, her voice barely a whisper. “Who are you?”
Jongho smiled softly, trying to mask the sudden rush of emotions flooding through him. “Jongho. Battle Master on Captain Hongjoong’s ship.”
Her eyes flickered with recognition. “You… you were at the market.” She hesitated, her voice uncertain. “You… you’re a pirate? Of the Halazia”
Jongho nodded, his heart tightening. “We’re here to get you out of this mess. But right now, we need to move fast.”
She looked around, “But my mom-”
“Yunho will take care of that”
Before she could respond, they heard footsteps approaching. Yunho’s voice was low and urgent. “Jongho, we’ve got to go, now!”
Jongho took her hand gently, pulling her toward the door. As they ran, he couldn’t shake the feeling that his heart had just made a decision he wasn’t sure he was ready for. He had come here to do a job, to rescue her and get out. But somewhere in that chaotic moment, he realized he wanted to protect her.
The door slammed open, and they ran out into the night. Behind them, the sounds of pursuit echoed, but Jongho didn’t care. He would protect her. No matter what it took.
You settled back into the familiarity of home, the creaking of the old wooden floors and the comforting hum of the market outside grounding you after the chaos of recent events. Life was quiet again, though a bit lonelier now. Your mother busied herself with building a shop, leaving you to wander between chores and stolen moments of peace.
Life aboard the ship was as chaotic as ever, but lately, the crew had found a new source of amusement—or annoyance, depending on who you asked.
“Jongho, will you sit down already?” Seonghwa groaned, throwing an exasperated glance at the younger man pacing the deck.
Jongho ignored him, his brow furrowed in thought as he muttered to himself. “I haven’t checked in on her in over a week. What if something’s happened? What if someone’s bothering her again?”
“Again with the girl,” Yunho drawled, leaning lazily against a barrel. “You’ve mentioned her three times today already. You’re worse than Hongjoong’s parrot.”
“Worse than his parrot?” Yeosang, the navigator, asked as he descended from the helm, a sly grin spreading across his face. “Now that’s saying something. I didn’t think anyone could top its constant squawking.”
“Maybe the parrot’s jealous,” Mingi, the boatswain, chimed in as he carried a coil of rope over his shoulder. He dropped it near the mast and turned to Jongho, his grin matching Yeosang’s. “Sounds like it’s got competition for Jongho’s attention.”
Hongjoong, seated at a small table nearby, raised an eyebrow but said nothing. He sipped his drink with a smirk, clearly enjoying the rare sight of Jongho being the center of everyone’s teasing. "I didn't even take my money from her for you"
"captain aren't you like one of the richest people in the 7 seas?" Someone grumbled.
“It’s not like that,” Jongho said firmly, shooting Yunho a glare before turning to Yeosang and Mingi. “She’s been through enough already. Someone has to make sure she’s alright.”
“Someone?” San chimed in, his grin wide. “Or you?”
“Let’s be real,” Wooyoung added with a dramatic sigh. “You don’t just want to make sure she’s safe. You’re attached. Admit it.”
“Sounds like attachment to me,” Yeosang agreed, leaning against the railing with an amused expression. “You’re practically obsessing.”
“I wouldn’t call it obsession,” Mingi said, tilting his head thoughtfully. “It’s more like…” He paused for dramatic effect, his grin widening.
“Infatuation.”
Jongho stopped pacing long enough to shoot them all a sharp look. “I’m doing my job. Protecting her is my responsibility.”
“Protecting her,” Seonghwa said, drawing out the words mockingly. “Or is it something more?”
“I don’t love her,” Jongho snapped, his tone final.
The crew burst into laughter, the sound echoing across the deck. Even Hongjoong let out a low chuckle, finally setting his drink down.
“If you don’t love her,” the captain said, leaning back in his chair, “then stop pacing around like a lovesick puppy. You’re throwing off the entire crew."
“Yeah,” Yunho added with a grin. “Even the parrot’s giving you side-eye at this point.”
Jongho opened his mouth to retort but found no words that would convince them otherwise. Instead, he huffed and crossed his arms, retreating to his post with an annoyed scowl.
Yeosang exchanged a glance with Mingi before smirking. “He’ll realize it eventually,” he said quietly.
“Or we’ll keep reminding him until he does,” Mingi replied with a chuckle.
As the laughter died down and the crew returned to their tasks. Jongho didn’t love her, he told himself. He was just… concerned. That was all. Yes, that's it.
It had been weeks since you’d last seen Jongho. You told yourself you shouldn’t expect him, that he had his own life aboard the ship, filled with duties and battles you couldn’t begin to imagine.
But some small, stubborn part of you always found your eyes drifting to the road outside, hoping to catch sight of him.
And then, one evening, as the sky blushed with the soft hues of sunset, you heard it—the measured, confident sound of boots against gravel. Your heart leapt before you could stop it, and you quickly wiped your hands on your apron, glancing toward the door just as his familiar silhouette appeared.
“Jongho,” you said, trying to sound calm though you could feel your pulse racing.
He nodded, stepping into the doorway. His eyes swept the room, taking in the tidy shelves and the faint scent of freshly baked bread. “Everything alright?” he asked, his tone steady, the same question he always asked.
You smiled, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face. “It is now. Come in.”
He hesitated for a moment, as if weighing the invitation, but eventually stepped inside, his presence filling the small space effortlessly.
You poured him tea, the silence between you familiar and strangely comforting. He didn’t say much—he rarely did—but his quiet presence was enough. You found yourself telling him about the shop, how business had picked up again, and how you’d repaired the shutters just last week. He listened intently, his gaze steady, his attention making you feel like your words mattered.
When he finally rose to leave, you felt a pang of disappointment, though you didn’t say anything. He paused at the door, glancing back at you.
“I’ll check in again,” he said simply.
You nodded, your smile soft but genuine. “I’ll be here.”
And then he was gone, the sound of his boots fading into the evening air. You stood there for a moment, staring at the empty doorway, your heart inexplicably lighter.
You didn’t know why he kept coming back, and maybe he didn’t either. But you found yourself looking forward to his visits, to the way he made you feel seen and safe in a way no one else ever had. For now, that was enough.
The air outside buzzed with excitement, the faint sound of music and chatter from the central town festival reaching your small home. You stood at the window, peeking out at the vibrant colors of the decorations that dotted the streets beyond your view.
The door creaked open, and you turned to see Jongho stepping inside. His usual calm demeanor was in place, though his eyes flicked over you briefly, taking in the faint spark of longing in your expression.
“There’s a festival in town,” he said, his voice low but steady.
You nodded, brushing your hands on your skirt. “I know. I’ve always wanted to go, but…”
Your voice trailed off, and you glanced toward your mother, who stood nearby, watching the two of you.
Jongho followed your gaze, his brow furrowing slightly. “Why not?”
Your mother sighed, folding her arms. “She’s young, and festivals can be crowded, chaotic… dangerous. I can’t let her go alone.”
“I’ll take her,” Jongho said simply, as though the decision had already been made.
“You'd do that? Take me there?”
“Why not?”
Both you and your mother looked at him, surprised. He met your mother’s gaze evenly, his tone firm. “I’ll make sure she’s safe.”
Your mother hesitated, her lips pressing into a thin line. Finally, she nodded, though she still seemed unsure. “Alright. But don’t let her out of your sight.”
A rush of excitement and nervousness bubbled up inside you as you grabbed your shawl. “Thank you, Jongho,” you said softly, your smile warm and genuine.
---
The town was alive with color and energy. Lanterns hung from every building, their soft glow casting a warm light over the cobblestone streets. Stalls lined the roads, selling everything from sweets to trinkets, and performers entertained small crowds with music and dancing.
Jongho stayed close to you, his presence a steady anchor in the lively chaos. His hand hovered near your back, guiding you through the crowd without a word.
“Where should we go first?” you asked, looking up at him.
He glanced around, his eyes scanning the stalls and performers. “Wherever you want.”
“I don't know, you choose”
“We can do whatever you want”
You look down a bit and think. You'd never been given choices. They were always made for you. You always felt pressure whenever someone said to choose something and at the end you just keep saying ‘whatever you want’.
You grinned, feeling a rare sense of freedom. Tugging gently on his sleeve, you led him to a stall selling candied apples. He didn’t protest when you bought one for yourself and insisted he try one too, but he informed you that he can't have sweet things.
You went around stall from stall, that's when you spotted a beautiful earring in one of the stalls. It was completely your style and pretty. You kept looking at it, that's when jongho noticed you looking somewhere.
“Where are you looking at?”
You look back at him and smile, “nothing.” Maybe I can ask mom to buy these next year, if we can come.
As the night went on, you wandered from one attraction to another. You laughed at a juggler’s clumsy tricks, marveled at the intricate designs of hand-painted fans, and even managed to coax Jongho into trying his hand at a ring toss game.
He didn’t win, but the sight of him concentrating so intently on the simple game made you laugh until your sides hurt.
“You’re enjoying this too much,” he muttered, though the corners of his mouth twitched upward in a faint smile.
“Maybe,” you teased, feeling more at ease with him than ever before.
When the night sky filled with stars, the two of you found a quieter spot on the edge of the festival grounds. You sat on a low stone wall, watching the festival bustling with people even though it was pretty late at night.
“Thank you,” you said after a while, your voice soft.
Jongho turned to look at you, his expression unreadable in the dim light. “For what?”
“For taking me here,” you said, meeting his gaze. “Looking out for me. You didn’t have to, but… it means a lot.”
He was silent for a moment, his eyes studying you. Then he nodded, his voice quiet but firm. “It’s no trouble.”
Back at the ship, Jongho returned to the bustling crew. The festival had left him with a strange feeling, one he couldn’t quite place.
“You’re back,” Yunho said, leaning against the mast with a grin. “How was your little outing?”
“It was fine,” Jongho replied curtly, brushing past him.
“Fine?” Wooyoung piped up, sidling up with a mischievous glint in his eye. “That’s all we get? Come on, did she hold your hand? Laugh at your jokes? Look at you like you’re her hero?”
“Wooyoung,” Jongho warned, his tone low.
But the teasing only grew as San joined in. “Admit it, you enjoyed yourself.”
Jongho shot them a glare that silenced most of their laughter, though their knowing looks didn’t fade.
He didn’t understand the pull he felt toward you, but one thing was clear: he would keep protecting you, no matter what. Anything beyond that… he wasn’t ready to think about it
The next time Jongho visited your home, it was early evening. The sun dipped low on the horizon, casting golden light over the small house. You were outside, tending to the small garden by the porch, when you noticed him approaching.
“Jongho,” you greeted, brushing dirt off your hands as you stood. His posture was straighter, and his hands were tucked behind his back.
“Hello,” he said, his voice calm as always, though his eyes briefly flickered down to the dirt smudged on your cheek.
“What brings you here?” you asked, tilting your head curiously.
He hesitated, glancing over his shoulder as though ensuring no one was watching. Then, clearing his throat, he brought his hand forward to reveal a small cloth-wrapped bundle.
You blinked at it, unsure of what it could be. “What’s this?”
“Just take it,” he said, his tone gruff, though he avoided your gaze as he extended the bundle toward you.
With a curious smile, you untied the cloth, your breath catching as the fabric fell away to reveal a pair of delicate earrings. They were simple yet elegant, their small gemstone pendants glinting in the light.
Your heart skipped a beat as you recognized them. “These… these were at the festival,” you murmured, tracing a finger over the smooth surface of one gem. “I saw them, but—”.
“You were staring at them right? That day?,” Jongho interrupted, his voice firm but quieter now. “Figured you might like them.”
Clutching the earrings tightly in your hand. “You didn’t have to do this.”
“I know,” he replied simply, meeting your gaze for a moment before looking away, almost as if he were embarrassed. “It’s nothing.”
“It’s not nothing,” you insisted, a soft laugh escaping you. “This is… this is the nicest thing anyone’s done for me.”
Jongho shifted awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. “Don’t make a big deal out of it. Just thought you’d like them.”
Your fingers gently traced over the smooth gemstones on the earrings, the delicate sparkle catching the fading sunlight. “But…” you hesitated, looking up at Jongho, who stood there with his usual calm demeanor. “Aren’t these expensive?”
He tilted his head slightly, an almost amused glint in his eyes. “I’m rich,” he said matter-of-factly, as if that explained everything.
You blinked at him, surprised by his bluntness. “You’re what?”
“Rich,” he repeated, his tone steady, though there was the faintest hint of humor tugging at the corner of his lips. “Why does that surprise you? I'm part of the richest pirates in the seven seas. Do you not know?”
“I mean… you’re on a ship all the time,” you said, flustered. “You don’t exactly seem—”
“Seem what?” he cut in, raising an eyebrow.
“Like someone who’d buy earrings for a girl,” you finished, your cheeks warming.
Jongho crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. “I didn’t buy them for just anyone. I bought them for you. That’s different.”
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, and you clutched the earrings tighter, suddenly unsure of what to say.
“I told you, it’s no big deal,” he continued, his tone softening slightly. “You liked them, so I got them. Don’t think too much about it.”
You smiled despite yourself, feeling a strange mix of gratitude and something else you couldn’t quite name. “Thank you,” you said again, your voice quieter this time.
He nodded, the faintest trace of a smile on his face. “You’re welcome.”
As he turned to leave, you couldn’t help but call after him, “So, how rich are we talking?”
Jongho paused, glancing over his shoulder with a smirk that was so subtle you almost missed it. “Rich enough to buy the earrings and not think twice about it.”
You laughed softly as he walked away, your heart lighter than it had been in a long time.
Unknown to you, the poor boy had gone through the torment of his 7 brothers, who won't leave him alone. They teased him so much about the earrings that he almost almost threw one of them overboard.
The crew was always quick to notice anything out of the ordinary, and had clearly picked up on Jongho’s latest visit to your home.
“So,” Yunho started, leaning casually against a barrel as Jongho walked across the deck, “we heard about the earrings.”
Jongho paused, his jaw tightening slightly. “What about them?”
“Oh, nothing,” Wooyoung piped up, barely containing his grin. “Just that our stoic Jongho has a soft spot for a certain someone.”
San joined in, throwing an arm dramatically around Jongho’s shoulder. “You know, if you’re going to buy her gifts, why not go all out? Maybe a necklace next time? Or a whole jewelry set?”
Jongho shrugged off San’s arm, his expression unimpressed. “It was just a pair of earrings. Don’t make it a big deal.”
“A pair of earrings,” Seonghwa repeated, feigning shock. “Do you know how much effort that is? Choosing the right ones, paying for them…”
Yeosang, who rarely joined in on the teasing, leaned against the railing with a faint smirk. “I’m just curious how long it took you to pick them out. Did you stare at the stall for an hour?”
“He probably scared the vendor,” Mingi added, his laughter booming across the deck. “Standing there, glaring at the earrings until they wrapped them up for him.”
Even Hongjoong, who had been silently observing from his chair, chimed in with a sly smile. “So, Jongho, how does it feel to be the romantic of the group? Should we start calling you the ship’s Cupid?”
Jongho’s patience was clearly thinning, but his expression remained steady. “I’m not romantic. I just thought she’d like them. That’s it.”
Wooyoung clutched his chest dramatically, staggering back. “He thought she’d like them! Oh, it’s worse than we thought—he’s thinking about her!”
“That’s enough,” Jongho said firmly, though the slight pink tinge to his ears betrayed his frustration.
Yunho, ever the instigator, leaned closer with a mischievous grin. “You know, Jongho, if you keep this up, we might need to start a fund for all the gifts you’ll be buying her.”
Jongho shot him a sharp look. “You’re all lucky I don’t throw you overboard.”
The crew erupted into laughter, thoroughly enjoying themselves at Jongho’s expense. Despite his annoyance, Jongho couldn’t fully suppress a faint smile as he turned and walked away.
As the teasing continued behind him, one thought lingered in his mind: he didn’t regret buying the earrings, no matter how much they made fun of him. If it made you smile, it was worth every ounce of ridicule.
The laughter and teasing aboard the ship gradually subsided as the crew prepared for their next voyage. Supplies were loaded, sails checked, and the familiar hum of activity filled the air. But this time, there was an unspoken heaviness among them. They were leaving the port—and there was no telling when they’d return.
Jongho stood near the railing, his gaze fixed on the horizon where the town lay, now bathed in the golden light of the setting sun.
“She’ll be fine, you know,” Yunho said, walking up beside him and leaning against the railing.
Jongho didn’t respond immediately. His grip on the wood tightened slightly, his eyes scanning the distant rooftops as though he could catch a glimpse of you from here. “I know,” he said finally, though his tone lacked conviction.
Yunho chuckled softly. “You’re terrible at lying, Jongho. Especially to yourself.”
“Leave him be,” Seonghwa said, passing by with a small smirk. “He’s just sulking because he can’t buy her more earrings from the next town.”
“Maybe we should’ve taken her with us,” Wooyoung suggested with a mischievous grin, appearing on Jongho’s other side. “At least then, Jongho wouldn’t be moping around like a kicked puppy.”
Jongho shot him a warning look. “She’s safer at home.”
“True,” Mingi chimed in as he approached, slapping Jongho on the back. “But are you safer without her?”
The others burst into laughter, their voices carrying across the deck, but Jongho remained silent. His thoughts were already elsewhere—back at the small house where he’d left you.
Now, as the ship’s anchor was lifted and the sails unfurled, Jongho couldn’t help but glance back one last time. The town grew smaller in the distance, and with it, the little piece of peace he’d found there.
Everything had to come to an end, he reminded himself, but this end felt heavier than he’d expected. Even as the ship carried him further from the port, his thoughts lingered on you—on your quiet strength, your laughter, and the way your smile had made the world seem just a little brighter.
For now, all he could do was focus on the journey ahead and trust that fate would bring him back to you someday.
Their journey had been long and unpredictable, filled with danger, discovery, and the relentless pursuit of fortune. From navigating treacherous waters to encountering rival ships, every day aboard the ship demanded resilience and wit.
They'd charted unknown territories, bartered with distant towns, and clashed with pirates in battles that tested their mettle. The crew thrived on the adrenaline of their adventures, though the weight of uncertainty often hung over them.
For Jongho, the journey was a blur of responsibility and restlessness, his thoughts occasionally drifting to the little house by the port. Each victory and challenge brought them closer to returning, though they never knew when that day would come.
Now, after years away, the ship had finally docked, and their travels were behind them—for now.
The town felt both familiar and distant as Jongho and the crew disembarked after years at sea. Jongho’s eyes instinctively searched the streets, scanning for any sign of you. The house came into view quickly, and his steps faltered. It looked well-kept, the garden vibrant and alive, and the faint scent of baked goods wafted from an open window.
As he approached the door, he noticed a subtle change—a sign hung near the entrance: “Homemade Goods & Repairs.” His brow furrowed, curiosity rising.
He knocked lightly, and a familiar voice called out, “One moment!”
When you opened the door, your expression lit up instantly. “Jongho!”
You were different, older somehow, with a confidence in the way you stood. Your hands were dusted with flour, and there was a smudge of it on your cheek. But your smile was as bright as ever, and seeing it eased something in Jongho’s chest.
“You’re back,” you said warmly, stepping aside to let him in. “I wasn’t sure I’d see you again.”
“I didn’t expect to see this,” Jongho replied, motioning toward the bustling shop area. Shelves lined with jars of jams and pastries occupied one side, while the other side displayed tools and items neatly organized for repairs.
You chuckled, wiping your hands on your apron. “After my mom passed, I needed something to keep me busy. The shop helps, and it keeps me connected to the town. I do alright.”
Jongho nodded, glancing around. The place had a sense of order and life he hadn’t expected. “You’re running this by yourself?”
“For now,” you replied, smiling proudly. “The town’s been good to me. They keep me busy enough, and I like it that way.”
Jongho’s gaze lingered on you, and he couldn’t help but notice the resilience in your tone. You weren’t the fragile girl he’d left behind. You’d grown, thrived even, despite everything.
“You’ve done well,” he said quietly, his voice tinged with admiration.
Still, his heart felt heavy as he considered what lay ahead. The ship wouldn’t stay docked for long; it never did. His life was the sea—a life of unpredictability, danger, and adventure. But standing here, surrounded by the quiet hum of your shop, he wondered if there was room for something else.
“You’ve made a good life for yourself,” he said finally, his voice quieter than usual.
You nodded, leaning against the counter. “I have. It’s not always easy, but it’s mine.”
A silence stretched between you, heavy with unspoken questions. He broke it first.
“I can’t ask you to leave this behind,” he said. “You’ve worked too hard to build it.”
Your brow furrowed as you studied him. “And you’re not ready to leave the sea.”
He shook his head. “That's all I’ve ever known.”
You stepped closer, your hand brushing against his arm. “Then don’t. You don’t have to choose, Jongho.”
He looked at you, confusion flickering across his face.
“You come and go,” you continued. “The sea is part of who you are, and I wouldn’t want to take that from you. But when you’re here, this can be home. If you want it to be.”
Home. The word hung in the air between you, and for the first time, Jongho felt a sense of calm he hadn’t known he was searching for.
“I don’t deserve that,” he said, his voice barely audible.
You smiled softly. “Maybe not. But it’s here anyway.”
Jongho was silent for a long moment, the weight of your words settling over him. He wanted to say more but wasn’t sure how. He wanted to ask you to come with him, to leave everything behind and sail with him, but he knew it wouldn’t be fair. You had your life here, and he couldn’t ask you to give that up for the uncertain life he led.
But then, without thinking, the words left his mouth, surprising even himself.
“Marry me.”
You froze, your eyes wide with shock. Jongho instantly regretted speaking before he’d thought it through. But he couldn’t take the words back now, and he didn’t want to.
He cleared his throat, trying to explain. “I know it sounds sudden, and I’m not asking you to give up your life here, but…” His voice faltered. “I don’t want to keep going back and forth, not anymore. I want you to be with me, always. Even when I’m out there on the sea. We could make it work, I know we could.”
You stared at him, your heart beating fast as you processed his words. The shock began to wear off, replaced by something warm and steady. Jongho had always been a protector to you, but hearing him say he wanted more—that he wanted to be with you no matter what—stirred something deep inside you.
You took a deep breath, the weight of his question settling on your chest. “Are you sure?” you asked quietly. “This isn’t just about wanting me close when it’s convenient for you?”
He shook his head, stepping closer. “No. I want all of you. Even when I’m gone. You’re the only thing that’s ever made me think about staying.”
You met his eyes, feeling the sincerity in his words. There was no doubt in your mind. “I’m not going anywhere,” you said, your voice steady now. “If you’re asking me to be part of your life, even with all the uncertainty, then yes. I’ll marry you.”
A smile spread across Jongho’s face, relief flooding through him. He couldn’t remember the last time he felt this certain about anything. Without another word, he pulled you into a tight embrace, the promise of the future settling between you like a quiet promise.
The sea might still call to him, but now, he had something far more important to come back to. And this time, it wouldn’t be just a visit—it would be home.

@kasrua ship & prompt: “Hands behind your back” w/ Hajime Iwaizumi ˚₊˚✧🏐✧˖°🇯🇵
How risky would it be if during half-time of a match, where Hajime should be looking after his team, advising them and motivating them, he is in the farthest locker room of the sports center fucking you because he didn't have enough time to do it that morning?
A lot, you would say, but there you were, having a quickie before returning to your respective affairs.
"Fuck... I love it when you fuck me like that, so good, so - deep, aah"
"You like being my dirty secret huh? You couldn't help but tease me from the bleachers so, here you go, getting what you want" the struggle to keep quiet was inevitable, because fuck, it was impossible not to melt in pleasure listening to the wet and quickly hip thrusts in your ass, and the sound of cum juice bouncing in your pussy with each new thrust. It was a hard thing to deal with.
"Come on... you feel it?"
"Yeah... fuck yes... don't stop Haji, harder, hah!"
"Holy shit" his eyes flew to the floor, where a small puddle began to form. "I'm filling you up so good baby, the way I like it"
“Ah- ahh Haji… mmm s’ good, so good here, give me more, m-more”
"What do ya want?”
"Your... y-your cum, I need you to fill me up please" you swore as his cock grew a little bigger inside you, the fruit of your walls pressing against him every time you let him abuse your fragile spot a little more.
“Shit, you’re clenching down so tightly babe” one of his hands rushed to open your ass to get a better view of his cock being cruelly sucked into your pussy. “Hands behind your back, I’ll give ya what ya need right - fucking - now” with the other he managed to grab both your wrists and make sure they were securely fastened before making a walking fucking mess of you.
“Hajiiii fuck! Cum- Hah - aah!” the itch on the tip of your nose warned you before short tears ran down your cheeks, cumming hard on your husband's cock, not giving a thought to your surroundings, just you and him in your mind, enjoying the fucking moment.
“So fucking pretty… get ready ‘cause I'm gonna fill ya up so fucking hard you'll come to me begging for more, baby"
A.N.: Just think about this scene with Hajime wearing a navy blue polo shirt with a japanese flag and an ear ring. Think about his fuCKING GREEN EYES DEVOURING YOUR ASS MFGGDJSSGHHFKSHD

i talk way too much (some more spop ranting ok i'm sorry?)
the timing of catra popping out from behind the rubble in s4e13 destiny pt 2? lol so not a coincidence and i can't be convinced otherwise cause yeah, she heard glimmer aboutta be straight killed in cold blood within earshot of her. like, it's just another example that catra has always been playing this part, more or less. the whole villain role for her, even. she steps into it as something she seems to almost view as predestined. preordained much in the same way as adora being the hero. i don't think she saw it as a choice, really. which makes the fact she overcomes this kinda idk, way she's kept giving into that feeling in the past? accepting herself as the bad guy, whether she wants to be or not.. she finally rises above that in s5 and starts trying to decide her own destiny - same as adora, really. and that's such powerful writing for a character like.. i love it so much lol.
anyway tho yeah hah - catra heard prime about to throttle glimmer out of existence and knew she'd be next when inevitably discovered - but she still speaks up in time to save glimmer's neck too. and yes, is visibly wide-eyed during that creepy dinner party as glimmer spills every last fact on the heart of etheria, effectively making not only catra useless and leaving her w no safety net regarding prime keeping her alive, but also yeah, screws over glimmer's own use as a source of info too. tho she was safe already as a "piece" of the heart of etheria super weapon, i guess. so all she did during that dinner actually was effectively screw over catra. and prime wastes no time in making sure catra knows it lol. glimmer leaves the room, catra tries out some smooth talking, and is shut down immediately. called out for caring about adora and then quickly informed of his recognition that her "parsing out information" as a "bargaining chip" was done for. so what now? lol don't worry, i've got great plans for you. like. ominous? not a strong enough word for what the dude said there tho omfg
oh but i also wanna point out - catra has clearly changed by the time the weird exhibitionist dinner w prime rolls around cause yeah, glimmer spills all the beans and in doing so effects no one but catra lol but you never once hear her say "thanks a lot for that btw sparkles" lmao like, it's so obvi that catra grows more and more disturbed by prime w every interaction. and dude, she has more interactions w the guy than any other character. even glimmer really only has the one in his creepy trophy room where admittedly she is met w some serious trauma, finding out her dad is still alive and she's so inconceivably far from him. like ahhhh.
but still, it seems clear that catra can empathize w how glimmer reacts to prime's tactics. cause tbh the only reason catra can even sorta save face at times is due only to her own personal upbringing. and even she starts to crumble in trying to do it after some time. like, how totally feeble is her attempt at deception when prime calls her into the room w the green pool (idk what the room's called tbh i'm sure it has a proper name tho) and he asks her about "a ship of such ancient design" it can't be tracked by his instruments or something like that. and he asks, "how can this be?" like how sad her attempt at lying is at this point speaks volumes imo regarding catra. like, she's been second only to sw as far as her skills as a manipulator - but mind you, i maintain that she only ever uses that tactic as a survival method. not for personal gain, like sw. anyways…
the poor girl straight up can't even fake it at that point. she is just so exhausted from trying to w this dude already. she survived sw, hordak, the horde in general - and prime broke her in a matter of days. she just couldn't do it anymore :/ it's kinda hard to watch tbh

love sneaked in with the smell of you - eddie X reader
i find it very funny that my top 5 (actually, my top 9!!!) it's all reader inserts. didn't think they'd be popular at Ao3 hah
5. Do you respond to comments?
i do!!! currently i have a lot of comments to answer to, because i've been a little away from fandom and specifically from writing since last year, and haven't found it in myself to answer them. but i will!!!!! someday
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
me and you (we can't lose) [eddie X reader] definetely. canon compliant. that's all needed to understand lmao but some of the drabbles for my Forever Halloween Challenge are also very angsty and gory
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
basically all my other fics have happy endings, so that's a hard thing to answer lol i think it's relative
8. Do you get hate on fics?
never did, thankfully!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
i've only ever wrote one smut scene for going home and nothing else in english. in portuguese, i've had a series of three short smut fics that i never finished lol. it's not my thing and it's hard for me to do it because of the language barrier in english, i feel insecure about it. i just prefer writing pure fluff in general
10. Do you write crossovers?
never did, no, cause it's usually not something i like to read as well
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
not that i know of
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
also not that i know of but that would be so nice if done with permission!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
also no. i think i'd have a bit of a hard time, but wouldn't be opposed to it
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
i'll say that nothing has ever got me as much as Steddie before. i've always been a reader insert girlie, besides the first fics that i've ever read (Jemi - joe jonas X demi lovato) fics, i'm pretty sure Steddie was the only characters ship that i've read and got completely obsessed over
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
your sweater (up over your head) [stonathan]. this fic is very special to me and a personal challenge in many ways, and i'd love to finish it someday but i'm not sure i'll get back to writing ST, so it's a hard chance
16. What are your writing strengths?
i'd say dialogue! it flows very naturally to me
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
description. haaaate describing things, scenarios, clothes, faces, animals, whatever. i think i'm really mediocre if not entirely bad at it
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
if it's through someone's specific POV, i'm in favor of writing as the character understands it - so if they understand the language, keep it translated and just describe that it was in another language; but if they don't understand, then don't translate either. then you can either put it on a note or make the character who said it translate it. but also, if it's too big of a text, i think it can be annoying. so, mostly short phrases it's good
19. First fandom you wrote for?
McFly rpf reader insert
20. Favourite fic you've written?
ahhh that is such a hard question, i love all my fics so dearly. but i'm gonna go with going home because it's my first and only finished long chaptered fic, and all the research i did for it and everything else involved in writing it that made it a bit more special
Tagging (no pressure): @marvel-ous-m @hbyrde36 @stellarspecter @starryeyedjanai and anyone else who sees it and wants to join in!

So if Reese and jaune were a ship I can see date spots being skateparks and concerts
Jaune: *Looking down a big skate ramp that leads to a jump* Reese I'm not so sure about this-
Reese: *Plops a helmet right on top of his head* What is there to not be sure about? You've flown farther distances than this! I should know, you scream like, every time.
Jaune: Y-yeah, but I'm usually being thrown by something. It's not liked a volunteered every time. Plus I'm still terrible at riding a skate board! I doubt I can make it halfway down the ramp still standing.
Reese: That's why you won't be standing! All you gotta do is sit your cute ass down on the board, simply lean forward, and let gravity do the rest my guy!
Jaune: *gulping nervously as he looks down the ramp again* Are you sure you don't want to do it instead? I mean, surely I won't look nearly as cool as you doing it. Or as graceful, or professional, or as attractive...
Reese: Dawww *Hops up just to reach his cheek and give it a peck* Gonna make me all gooey talking like that. But no chance, I wanna get some good aerial shots of some stunts and what better way than my hover board?! Listen Big Guy... *points off into the distance* All you gotta do is just make it down the ramp then land in one of those big piles of snow. I'll follow along on my hover board to record the shot. After I make sure we got the footage, we're gonna make out. Hard.
Jaune: *blushes slightly* What's stopping us from just making out as usual?
Reese: Whether you end up doing this jump or not isn't gonna decide if I kiss you, we're doing it either way. BUT, if we make out after an awesome stunt, you better believe you're gonna get me hot for you, and that means even more handsy make out session Chief *wink*
Jaune: *Clips helmet on and sit down on the board with new found determination* Got it.
Reese: *chuckles and kisses him good luck* Remember to smile for the camera. *gets on her hover board and flies a short distance away, getting out her hand camera*
Jaune takes a deep breath and leans forward, his board underneath him taking him quickly down the ramp's slope until he suddenly lurched up and started flying through the air. As soon as he was soaring, his board had disappeared from beneath him, causing him to flail wildly, trying his best not to scream like usual. As he was reaching the highest point of his jump, everything seemed to slow down, giving him the single second he needed to see his girlfriend Reese soaring through the air with him, Jaune couldn't help but have his breath taken away.. She had her camera focused right on him, her light green hair was wiping in the high winds, and she had the biggest smile. It wasn't one formed from his expense, but a smile of genuine glee and infectious excitement. One particular thought crossed his mind...
Jaune: Damn she's beautiful when she smiles. *At this point Jaune starts free falling back to Remnant and crash lands into a huge snow pile*
Reese: *Hovers down to the ground, looking through the camera footage* DUDE! That was fucking perfect! I can't believe you actually smiled for the camera!
Jaune: *Clambers out of the snow and starts dusting himself off* ...
Reese: Ok next jump, I want you to strike a pose! Ooo! Ooo! No! See if you can do a backflip mid air! What do you think Jaune?
Jaune: *Starts briskly marching towards Reese, not saying a word.*
Reese: ... J-Jaune?
Jaune: *Grabs Reese and pulls her against him, crashing his lips into hers*
Reese: *Eyebrows shoot up for a second before her eyes flutter closed, her arms wrapping her boyfriend's neck.* Holy shit, if he keeps kissing me like this I'll- I'll-! *She suddenly feels Jaune shove snow down the back her hoodie* EEEEEEeeeee!
Jaune: *Bursts out laughing* Consider that a little payment before I go down that ramp again.
Reese: *Finishes shaking out her winter hoodie, kneeling to the ground catching her breath from the sudden surprise* hah... hah... *gulp* Jaune... unbuckle your pants.
Jaune: ... *blushes hard* W-WHAT?! R-right here? You can't be serious about doing...
Reese: *Looks up with a wicked smile and an evil glint in her eye, holding up two freshly made snowballs*
Jaune: ... You can't be serious. Right?
Jaune found Reese could be very serious about payback.

27 from prompt list one with obi? If we get caught I'm blaming you? You are amazing!!! 🥰🥰
So the council meeting hadn’t gone as planned. You were hoping for a “congratulations on your success in the outer rim, Master Jedi” and instead you got a “Pack your bags, we’re sending you back out, but to almost Wild Space now.” You shot Obi-Wan Kenobi a look that said “What the fuck?” After all, you’d just gotten back to Coruscant and were hoping to at least have some time with your boyfriend. Yet, here you were, being sent out again and away from his loving arms.
As the rest of the Council members filed out, you went over to look out into the Coruscant skyline in the transparisteel viewport. In the reflection of the glass, you saw him come up behind you, arms folded in front of his chest.
“Well, that went in a direction I wasn’t expecting,” he sighed.
“What good is having your boyfriend on the council if he can’t influence a decision?” you asked with a smirk. You knew he’d never abuse that power.
“Well, maybe if you would stop being so good at your job, they’d stop sending you places. Did you ever think about that, darling?” he smiled, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind.
“Oh, so you want me to shirk my duties, then, is that it? What, Kenobi, afraid I’ll eclipse you?” you murmured, reaching up to stroke the beard on the side of his face furthest from you.
“My dear, I fear you’ll always eclipse me. I am average, but you... you’re perfection,” he smiled, kissing your cheek.
“You’re so modest,” you chuckled, turning to face him, wrapping your arms around his neck. You gently nudged his nose with yours. “You’re the perfect being here. I’m simply here to bask in your glory.”
“Is that what you call it?” he asked, blushing.
“Shut up and kiss me, Kenobi,” you smiled.
“We’re in the council room. Surely this isn’t the place for-”
You cut him off with your lips pressed against his. He tensed up at first before kissing you back with fervor, months of repressed feelings and longing bubbling to the surface as he pushed you back against the viewport. You wrapped your legs around his waist as he rested his forehead against yours, panting for air.
“Are you going to send me off with a bang?” you purred.
He sighed, shifting his eyes over to the door before reaching out with the force to lock it. “If we get caught, I’m blaming you.”
“Of course. Tell them I seduced you with my feminine wiles,” you smirked, slipping your hand between you to squeeze him over his pants. His eyes shut and a groan passed through his barely open lips.
“You’re going to be the death of me,” he murmured.
“Force, I hope not,” you replied sincerely.
His lips crashed against yours, swallowing any moans you made as his hands slipped down to knead your ass. He walked back towards his council chair before settling into it with you in his lap. Your hands worked quickly to free him as you moved to kneel between his legs. Obi-Wan’s eyes were clouded as you gazed at his erection, licking your lips in anticipation.
“You have no idea how badly I craved this while I was gone,” you murmured before licking a stripe up his shaft. You moaned at the taste of him, letting any plans of going slow and savoring the moment float out the viewport. Your lips wrapped around his weeping head, swirling your tongue through the salty substance before taking him fully into your mouth.
“Ah-hah,”he moaned as his hand sunk into your hair, gripping it gently, but firm. His hips started to move in time, trying to fuck your mouth, but you held them down after his tip hit the back of your throat.
“Darling,” he gasped as you sucked on his frenulum.
You looked up at him with pure lust as he gently pulled your mouth off him.
“I wasn’t finished,” you stated.
“I don’t care,” he said breathlessly as his hands desperately worked at your robes until you were bare. His lips attached to your throat as he pulled you back into his lap. Obi-Wan left a sucking trail of kisses down your chest as you hovered over him, gently moving your hips to drag his tip through your folds, but not enough for him to enter fully.
“You’re such a tease,” he murmured before gently tugging your nipple with his teeth.
“You’re one to talk,” you gasped.
“We don’t have much time,” he murmured regretfully, kissing the curvature of your breast.
“Then, we should hurry up,” you replied, gripping the hair at the nape of his neck to tug his head up towards you. You kissed him deeply as you slowly sunk down onto him. Your mouths swallowed your moans as you adjusted to being together again for the first time in months.
“Kriff, I’ve missed the feel of you,” he murmured against your lips as you started to move. His hands gripped your hips tightly as he met you. In the back of your mind, you felt sacrilegious, fucking him in the Council Chambers. The sound of skin slapping skin as you both fulfilled your carnal needs resounded loudly in your ears. It wasn’t the gentle love making that was your first time with Master Kenobi, but he’d learned that he didn’t always need to be gentle with you. After all, you’d both been through rough situations. In truth, having a fast round of rough, hard sex was something you liked when you knew you were going away for a while. The ache afterwards made you focus on something other than the ache in your heart. You just wished that you could have more slow, gentle sex again, the kind where you have the time to memorize every inch of him so you could pull it out at night when you were lonely. But this would have to suffice. You came to realize that he left so many marks on you so you wouldn’t forget him. It was a silly thought, really. How could anyone ever forget Obi-Wan Kenobi? Yet, you returned those marks as he playfully smacked your ass, causing you to moan against the patch of skin you had latched onto.
Over and over, you met each other in the middle until you were on the brink. His thrusts were getting sloppy and a thin sheen of sweat coated your body and his forehead. You felt your toes curl in anticipation as a white hot light started to spread through behind your closed eyelids. His hand came up to the base up your neck to pull you close. He twitched inside you, on the edge of his own release. As you felt the coil in you snap, sending you hurtling into the oblivion, you faintly heard him in the background as he came.
“I love you.”
You collapsed into his clothed chest, feeling the arms of his robes wrap around you. You panted for air in the crook of his neck before reluctantly pulling back to get dressed. After righting himself, he got up and helped you collect your clothes, holding your outer robe up for you to slip your arms into.
“Earlier...” you murmured when you got to the door.
“What about it, darling?”
“When we both... you know,” you murmured, “Did you say something?”
Obi-Wan blushed, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “I said I love you.”
“Oh,” you blushed. You tipped up to kiss him softly. “I love you, too.”
“Come back to me in one piece,” he murmured, taking your hand and kissing your knuckles.
“Me? You’re worried about me? I thought I was perfection,” you replied, squeezing his hand before leaving. You kept it together until you made it to your quarters on the ship. Only then did you allow yourself to loosen your robes and look at the marks upon your chest. Only then did you think of the auburn haired man that had told you he loved you for the first time today.

Hi Ellie! Could I maybe request a matchup? 1. Atlas 2. she/her 3. monkey and cancer 4. infp; 5. I'm kind of introverted! Even though I enjoy talking to people and seeing new places, I'm really just a homebody 6. My favourite colour is green! I think I can be either quite loud or just have a pokerface all day? And I try to make people feel comfortable around me, because I think I'm pretty chill?? 7. I have glasses! and just like,, dark hair and eyes 8. AFAB 9. Anyone's fine! 10. both! 11. Sure!
DAMN STRAIGHT YOU CAN REQUEST A MATCHUP
THIS WAS SO FUN OMG
I match you with....
Akiteru Tsukishima (which you know already, but whatever)
damnit you two are cute
who gave you the right?
me, apparently, because i'm the one writing this.
height difference anyone???
yes
it's cute.
he's so so sweet to you. so nice too.
probably wants to marry you the first time he sees you
and if Kei likes you? and actually shows it? oh yeah, he's marrying you
(p.s kei loves you, and akiteru marries you about 6 years later)
y'all meet in high school
love at first sight? (considering he wanted to marry you at first sight, yeah, probably)
and when he heard your voice? hoo boy
(yes, i'm including something about you voice because i cannot get over how pretty it is)
he was a goner, he had to get to you
he's kind awkward at first, he basically follows Yi around for a week
all with good intentions, of course
but you're still like "why are you following me?"
and he sputters out that he thought you were really cute and he liked your voice and wanted to get to know you better but he was too shy to say anything
oh.
cute
anyway, like i said, y'all are cute ❤️
your relationship is sooo pure (emotionally, not physically)
very stereotypical dates, because Aki wants to treat you right, so if they do it in the movies, it works in real life, right?
in this case, yes
he treats you like a goddess.
Kei does too, he practically idolizes you. wants you to be his big sister
Tells Akiteru as much, and Akiteru nearly cries
grown up Kei is really happy when Aki tells him his childhood dream is gonna come true
wow i haven't really gotten to any relationship hc's, have i?
can you tell i really ship you two?????
ajsjdhsajs
hhhhhhhhhh
lemme give you some then
going to a beach wherever you are and sitting and holding each other as the sun rises
holding hands, always
in the car? yes. walking down the street? yes. even if you're cuddling? yes. always.
Akiteru says the palms are links to the heart or something and wants you guys to always be linked
he has a really big fluffy comforter, so you'll often be in his bed watching movies or playing games
or making out, because you literally can't keep your hands off each other (well duh cause you're always holding hands, but you get what i mean)
Kei thinks it's gross, but your relationship is what he wants in life so, suck it or whatever
Akiteru looooves stardew valley!! plays it all the time
you two definitely have a co-op island.
also looked up a6 to see what you were talking about, got hooked, now plays. will not tell you.
you already know.
you two spend so much time together it's kinda gross
you're that super sweet couple
of course you have time to yourselves, your relationship isn't overbearing
you just like being together
his parents looove you, not only cause you're an angel and super sweet to Akiteru, but because grown up Kei still likes you. even though you knew Akiteru's secret and didn't tell him
going to all of Kei's games, when the away ones
just to support your favorite little bro
yeah, you called him that before Akiteru and you were married
both of them like it hehe
once, you and Aki went to the butterfly gardens and a butterfly landed on his nose
you took a picture and it's your lock screen
his is a picture of the two of you kissing that Kei took when he was like 10, it's dark and blurry but he loves it with all his heart
kisses are so soft omg 🥺
everything about him is soft (except his dick- hah)
hugs, cuddles, everything
even sex, and you always, always cum first
it's just his thing, y'know?
god you're so in loveeee
your mom and sister really like him
"husband material, they say"
you agree.
which is why you marry him.
he cries on your wedding day
he cries thinking about your wedding day
he probably calls you atlas sometimes. he's not sure why, you're not sure why, but it happens.
also he gets your mom and sister little gifts hshsjssh
they think it's so cute
he would he a 10/10 boyfriend/husband to have when you're on your period
always has ibuprofen and pads and tampons on him
wow so nice ahshshs i want an aki
will just hold you when it hurts really bad
telling you all the nice things he loves about you and distracts you by telling you stories, made up ones and real ones
he wants kids, but he'll wait until you're ready
and if you never want kids?
he's fine with that. he just wants you.
AHHHHH
DAMNIT HE'S SO CUTE
PLEASE MARRY HIM
@warmbearhugs

whispers for the 'send you a series' meme, i'm tempted to just be Unoriginal and say kung fu panda, but if you'd rather something else, i'm seeing a lot of steven universe around here jfjfiea
Masha ily. You know that, right? :D
Kung Fu Panda:
Favourite character: Who else but Shifu? XD
Second favourite character: It might actually be Po
Least favourite character: Hard to think of a least favourite character. If we ONLY count the main cast + the villains in the movies and exclude any other minor characters, then I’d say Kai maybe? Just wasn’t as impactful to me as the other characters/villains. Or if we include minor characters I might say the hugging panda from the third movie because the gag and his character didn’t really add much. Also, I’ve already spoken about this in the past, possibly more than once, but back when I was a child upon watching the first movie, my answer to this question would actually be Ping. Suffice it to say, my opinion on him changed a LOT. XD
The character I’m most like: Maybe I am like Po in some ways. At my core, I’m a fangirl lol. And I like food :O
Favourite pairing: Don’t really have any ships. Crane and the girl from that one short tho. Like idk if I’d want them to get together, maybe not now that I think about it. But it would be nice to see them interact more.
Least favourite pairing: HAH. Let’s just say I really hate what Legends of Awesomeness decided to do with Shifu in the shipping realm and leave it at that. :P
Favourite moment: YOU’RE GONNA MAKE ME CHOOSE? There’s no way. I could only list off notable ones. Okay, if we narrow it down to non-Shifu moments, off the top of my head, you obviously have the iconic cannonball scene at the end of kung fu panda 2, and in the THIRD movie I love love love how when Po is in the spirit realm and he says “turns out... I’m all of them” and the music swells and the framing and the scenery is just. so gorgeous . I love. So much. If I sat here thinking too long I’d probably start recapping all the movies SO since I’ve thrown those two out there I’ll cut myself off before I get too out of hand. XD
Rating out of 10: First movie is just 10/10 for me. It’s my favourite movie, not just in the franchise but like, probably ever among movies in general, and just about every moment and scene feels like home when I watch it. The trio of movies I’d then put at probably around 9/10.
Steven Universe:
Favourite character: I can now say with confidence that it is Steven Universe.
The people who liked Steven “before it was cool” certainly have bragging rights, because I was one of those people who failed to find myself among them, as I lacked the foresight, or... future vision for it. :P. At first, in the very early days, I didn’t really care for Steven. It’s often very easy to gloss over a protagonist, and, in my case, not truly appreciate what’s great in a character like early-days Steven, or even Po. Now, Steven and Po are, naturally, quite distinct characters in their distinct franchises but there are certainly parallels that can be drawn, not only in their character but how I initially felt towards them. By asking for both fandoms in the one ask, I feel like you’ve given me the opportunity to speak about this, which has been idly on my mind every so often. XDBoth Steven and Po are the protagonist of the franchise they’re in. They’re both fond of food, they both start out needing training and then develop incredible skills along the way until they become one of, if not the most powerful in the cast. They’re both generally very easygoing, excitable, enthusiastic, FRIENDLY, and generally kind. At the start of their journeys, there’s a lot of focus on how much they’re lacking in skills and abilities, how difficult it is for them to accomplish even the basics. They both gotta Save The World, whether it be more in the sense of the universe as a whole or China. And the thing is I had the same issue with Po as I did with early-days Steven; I didn’t realise how great Po is. I was just a little too dismissive. With time, (and I’m talking around the point where I actually entered the fandom after the second movie was out, so it was mostly kid me who is guilty of not recognising Po’s greatness) I grew to realise just how cool Po is, to truly appreciate his genuine enthusiasm and excitement and also utmost reverence and admiration of kung fu. I simply Expected Po’s character to be less than it was, which is what caused the oversight. But Po is honestly so fantastic and deserves every last bit of love the fandom has to offer him. Also, seeing his potential and him reaching his potential is so damn epic. See: his “turns out, I’m all of them” quote/scene I mentioned earlier. So to bring things back to Steven, whose character arc nonetheless has its VERY stark differences from Po’s, it was around when Steven managed to calm down and stop the cluster that it fully registered in my mind how fantastic and amazing he is and how much I appreciate his character. In fact, it was a little earlier than that. Pretty sure I hadn’t actually started watching the show yet when Sadie’s Song aired, but I was getting all the deets secondhand on my dashboard and I loved what I heard and saw in gifs/pics. A boy who just wants to perform and dance around on stage in heels and a gorgeous outfit to boot (I really liked the thought of trans girl Steven at the time tbh, which was being thrown about on my dashboard back then, though of course that’s not the path the show decided to go down, so he/him it is...!). He had my full support. And THEN when he calmed the cluster down like that... (and I think I was probably watching the show at that point?) I just, loved his incredible talent to reach out to others and HELP them, I loved his magical gem abilities and how he always seemed to be triumphing against the odds, and as the show progressed his feats only started getting more and more impressive. I absolutely noticed how much responsibilities he’d started forcing onto himself, how he was trying to manage everyone and be an adult to all the adults in his life, I was kind of intrigued by how much he was shouldering, and it struck me that he had developed an Atlas Personality long, long before he was ever listed as an example of it on the wikipedia page. I simply adored Steven and his placement in the show and everything. He’s also completely ACING things as usual in the movie too.And then Steven Universe Future hit, and oh boy, that’s a whole other story. Steven truly emerged as the forefront seeing as the focus was now unrelentingly on him and his issues. What initially got me really hooked as well, was the inherent shock and intrigue of seeing a character who would usually always do the right thing, who always seemed to know what was best for everyone, who always seemed to be able to read a situation and understand who needed help and then reaching out and offering them help... not only completely failing to recognise that HE was the source of a given problem (see: the pink dome rapidly closing in), but to actively dig himself deeper by being convinced SOMEONE ELSE was at fault, and whirling around and trying to pin it all on them. Before Steven whirled around to point at Lars, there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that he was about to be like “guys, you know what? I think I’m causing this - I think I have some stuff going on” LOL NOPE. And that was only the tip of the ice berg. Steven had nowhere else to go but down, and boy, down did he go until he hit rock bottom, pulled out a shovel and started digging.
Second favourite character: Hard to say. I do know that I am crazy about the zircons (I mean c’mon - lawyers!). I was crazy about Blue Pearl when we first saw her too. My answer might’ve been Aquamarine or even Eyeball if it wasn’t for Steven Universe Future. Seeing more of them just kinda made me go “ok you know what, yeah this isn’t really what I expected and they’re not actually really my thing after all.” I reeeeally don’t know. Steven Universe has such a stellar cast of great characters. Steven Universe Future also kinda threw me off Spinel, but obviously Spinel is A+ as well.
Least favourite character: I don’t really care about Lapis. She just kind of lost appeal as a character to me and I never really understood her I guess. I was also never fond of the diamonds... because you know, discourse, and like, the discourse kind of has a point. But after Steven Universe Future I might invest more in trying to understand their positioning in the show a little more, now with the confirmation that Steven never did actually forgive them. I completely wrote-off White Diamond’s seemingly quick turnaround for the longest time and honestly never bought it and felt it was WAY too easy and rushed/forced. But I came to an internal understanding quite recently and I THINK I finally get what the show meant there so I think I can buy it now and find it believable at last, which is nice. So don’t quote me and don’t crucify me, but I might warm up to the diamonds a Little.
The character I’m most like: omg. There’s so many characters idk who is most like me hahaha
Favourite pairing: Connverse. Connie kissing Steven on the cheek in the movie made me SO pleased, and I can say this is my favourite pairing if only because the prospect of it not working out and instead going up in flames and not actually having a good resolution - which is a threat that felt so very real during Steven Universe Future - was deeply, DEEPLY upsetting to me. Like I didn’t care because I’d been taking it for GRANTED, but the moment anyone suggested, with alarming plausibility that they may split up or whatever, I was immediately on edge like “NO NO NO NO NO”.
Least favourite pairing: Stevinel. Stevidot. Just, any ship with Steven and any of the gems is an instant no from me. D:
Favourite moment: omggg. Again, there are simply way too many, so no answer I give here can or will be definitive. So I’ll simply state my love for when Steven is singing Change and Spinel yeets him in the sky and there’s the stellar animation where he goes “You can make it different... You can make it right! You can make it better! We don’t have to fight!”
Rating out of 10: I’d probably give it a 9/10, if only because, look. There are a LOT of shows out there. There are a lot of pieces of media I’m into and have watched. And Steven Universe is just. It’s good. Even when I like another piece of media MORE than Steven Universe, I can still more than readily acknowledge when/if SU has vastly superior writing. And it usually does. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 10/10 is because for the vast majority of SU’s existence I was mainly only ever a passive watcher/fan and/or got secondhand knowledge (closer to the start of it airing), so it lacks that fundamental closeness to my heart that something like Kung Fu Panda has. (Though I got way more close to it during SUF, as my reblogs can attest to LOL). The other thing stopping it from hitting that 10/10 is there are things I still take issue with, like how the Rose=Pink reveal undermines Pearl’s character (the “rebellion” aspect) and casts an EXTREMELY uncomfortable light on Pearl being in love with Rose. Yes, the show already showed us that Pearl’s obsession with Rose is unhealthy and problematised it. But regardless of how problematised it already was, I’m just not comfortable with a former slave being shown as being in love with their former master at all. What does that add, realistically? There are other valid criticisms that have been pointed out, namely how aspects of the show such as Sugilite’s role in Coach Steven do fail its Black audience. That undercurrent is there and it’s unfortunate.
#mashanevershutsup#ask#asks#THANK YOU I was actually feeling unhappy and you sending me an ask like this kinda cheered me up?#Gotta love that Human Interaction#long post

Hi hello love ur art is amazing and inspiring! Sorry I'm hyper. Also I have question! Been wondering for a while actually but like Diamond Bakugou right? Like how tall is he? Cause I know the diamonds have different heights so I was wondering exactly (actually both him and Kirishima) if he is like Blue and Yellow or like Pink?? Ily💜
Thank you so so much!!! And I guess more around Pink’s height? But to be honest with you while doodling those sketches I was like “...it’s su no one will get on my case if I go off-model” lmao so I can’t say I have any set height in mind, he’s just... tol lol
Anon said:it took me two straight days to hit the bottom of your blog in just the bakushima tag- then I realized in the tags for it you said "I promised myself I wouldn't draw for this fandom" - hmm, your art is amazing btw
LMAO anon you don’t get it, the fact that since then I spent two whole years doing little less aside from drawing bnha is exactly the reason why I didn’t want to start hahaha I could feel this was how it was going to end r i p
Anon said:I pre-ordered TMH zine and I'm super excited cause there's so many amazing content creators involved and just... Kiri and Baku you know? What's not to love! Anyway just wanted to say I'm most excited for your comic! Since I absolutely adore all your art and comics and from your preview it looks awesome!! So yeah! Thank you for all the amazing things you've created so far and I'm really looking forward to whatever you feel like making in the future too!! Oh also I love your OCs!
OH MAN thank you SO MUCH for buying it!!!! I really hope youre gonna like the comic, I worked so hard on it !! ;^;
Anon said:i'm sorry that i'm throwing this at you but concept: bakusquad goes to an amusement park ft. spinning teacup rides where baku and kiri spin it so fast it breaks while kaminari's crying, sero's laughing, and mina's recording it
hAH the only way you can get Bakugou in a spinning teacup is to allow him to turn them into an extreme ride there’s no doubts about that hahaha
Anon said:hey! I know you don't allowed respots but, can I use your art as icon? like for tumblr and twitter? if I can't I'll understand and respect. thank you for your time ❤️
It’s cool as long as you credit!! Thank u for liking my stuff enough to want to use it like that!!
Anon said:I love all your art!!! And ahhhhh your new costume sketches are so freaking good!!! First, thank you for being amazing!! And second, I was wondering if you'd be ok with it if I used one of them as my phone background? Totally understand if not! Thanks!
NO PROBS AT ALL thank you SO MUCH for liking them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anon said:What do you think of BKDK?
Don’t ship, but I’m highly invested in their canon relationship and its development!
Anon said:I am way more invested in Luca and Nico than I should be. XD I really love Luca a lot, your ocs are really interesting and the art is so pretty.
Thank you so muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch ;O;
Anon said:The only thing I can think on Kiri's hero costume on winter, is Bakugou getting extremely flustered and yelling that Kiri is gonna poke someones eye out. 'Cause them nipples hard baby.
That seems to be the general feeling of the whole fandom, doesn’t it hahahaha it’s real tho, Kiri it’s winter pls don’t die
Anon said:Ever heard of Bo Burnham? In one of his sketches, he says "The issue is, I got my father's temper and I'm emotionally inarticulate, so rather than being honest and vulnerable I did a quick switch because I'm hurting inside and I'm trying to hide it, so eat a d[u]ck man"; swap "father" with "mother", and isn't that the best description of Bakugou anyone could have ever offered?
Never heard of him before, but this is pretty damn accurate haha
Anon said:You said you think Katsuki's ticklish (which is just too much fun to imagine), but what about Kiri? Does he take advantage of it? Do they strike you as a couple that would engage in tickle fights, which maybe start as sparring? or the opposite, a tickle fight becomes a full-blown grappling contest?
Kiri definitely takes advantage of it and the worst thing is that it’s not even a fight cause with Kirishima’s quirk he’s completely immune to tickling (and also attempts at other types of attacks in general - explosions - to make him stop) so once he manages to get a hold of Bakugou and start tickling him all Bakugo can do is yell and cry-laugh and hate him a lot hahaha
Anon said:Date-Dave Anon here. Since Dave isn't really the date type, do /you/ wanna go on a date? Somewhere classy. Like the cheesecake factory or something.
A n o n ple a s e ................... !!!!!!!!!! (a cheesecake factory does sound pretty neat tho :O )
Anon said:Could you draw Momojirou cuddling please? Thank you! ♡
Yes I could! I’m not taking requests nor commissions right now tho so I’d ask you to wait till I got a moment to spare I don’t wanna waste on the usual krbk de-stressing doodles haha
Anon said:i bought the tmh zine just so i could have a physical version of your art :3 and krbk of course
;;;;;;;;; omg thank you so much!! I really hope you’ll like the whole zine, it’s such a good one imho !!!
Anon said:Do you know what mbti/16 personality test is? And if so do you know what yours is?
Seems like I’m an INFJ :0
Anon said:Im so happy you shared the names of your ocs because i absolutely love them! There one of my favorite things on your posts! I was really interested in Tony and Ila so it was nice to finally know there names!!! Keep up the good work your amazing!!!
SOB I’M SO GLAD YOU LIKE THEM THEY’RE MY SOFT KIDS specifically Ila and Tony they’re very very soft and I’m very very happy you’re interested in them ;^;
Anon said:hi I like ur art and ur awesome ❤
THANK YOU!!!!
Anon said:Do you have any other ships that are as strong as kiribaku for you?
They’re my otp so no lol in the past I’ve had ships just as strong as them, but currently they’re my main source of entertainment and strong feelings - I do have other ships that make me go !!!!!!!!!!!!!! a lot, both in bnha and in general, but none as strong as krbk are :D
Anon said:that drawing of nico with his hair up i wanna cry. i am now thoroughly invested in luca and nico both as a pair and individually and i really hope to see more of them in the future because THEY BRIGHTEN MY DAY AND FUEL MY SOUL AND YOU ARE A LOVELY HUMAN.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope to draw more about them, so thank you SO MUCH for being interested!!!! ;O;
Anon said:do you have an opinion on the ship ocha*mina (ashido and uraruka)??
I guess they’re cute? But I don’t have any strong opinion about them, I have a lot of mina ships I like better and generally I’m at best lukewarm about ura ships ngl
#fran answers#more answers in less than a week!!#i feel so productive my guys#*wipes tear* go me#anonymous

i'm asking out of a place of wanting to understand, so please don't assume i am accusing you or attacking you, but regarding a post you reblogged recently, it was an ask where templeofshame claimed that if dnp weren't together it would be kind of like "baiting" us but i really don't think that's fair? they haven't EVER said or pretended to be in a closeted relationship, only been friends that joke a bit about their occasionally romantic tendencies, i have friends who think me pt.1
this ask is long due to there being several messages, so i’m putting it under a cut. the post in question: x
me and my best friend are together when we’re really not. we’ve said so, but eventually just stopped denying the claim while occasionally joking about it. i think its unfair of us to act like they owe us something? they don’t owe us a “coming out” (i agree with op tho that coming out has issues of it own, but its the most relevant term) neither do they have to tell us if they aren’t together.
however we perceive their relationship is our business, and as long as we aren’t toxic about it pt. 2 then really we shouldn’t care about ppl calling us “silly shippers” cause shipping them isn’t weird or rude, i, myself, truly believe they are together, but i don’t think that they owe us anything. they are real people with their own complex lives that we may not understand, heck, that THEY may not understand and they are just living their truth. for whatever reason, they may feel that they don’t want to tell people that they’re in a relationship (if they are in one) pt. 3but neither do they feel the need to (and in my opinion, shouldn’t feel the need to) explain and clarify their status to us.
it isn’t in any way baiting or manipulation. if we decide to invest our lives and our time into writing fanfics and making art then that is our choice! they are obviously fine with it so long as it isn’t shoved in their faces, but they don’t owe us clarification, maybe i’m misunderstanding something, i just don’t think it’s fair to say that they are being manipulative pt.4simply by being themselves?
they are their own people with their own reasons for keeping private or not telling us. they have never pretended like phan is real, have even denied it in the past, never made merch or something that has catered to shippers specifically. they have simply let us be (even if dan was quite rude about it before, but i believe he has improved a lot over the years) and made some quips about it. they choose to share parts of their lives with us and however pt5 the phandom reacts to that is our “issue”.
in summary, i believe that it is unfair to say that if they aren’t together it means we have been baited and manipulated and “wasted our time” because i really don’t think that’s fair to the good times we have had while shipping them. they are real people that owe us nothing about their private lives and can hide or reveal as much or as little as they want. i do believe that some people DO “queerbait” irl, especially ytbrs, but dnp have never pt.6acted fake or overly romantic to seem like they’re in love, their bond, in my opinion is genuine, and whatever we read into that is valid, but it doesn’t mean that they owe us an explanation.
i think i should end this now, but before i go, know that i do NOT intend this to be a dig at anyone, just wanted to share my perspective and ask your opinion about what i’ve just shared. i just see ppl acting like dnp could qb us and it kind of makes me think. have a nice day, take care, peace out! end
ooof anon, i appreciate that you sent this to me, but i’m really not the right person for it! i’m not one of the smart people in this fandom, nor one of the cool ones, so discussing things with me over anon is not as fun and rewarding as sending an ask to one of the popular people haha. but i’ll reply with my thoughts anyway!
we’ve had discussions about this on IDB before and my opinion hasn’t changed since the last time i said anything on this subject.
TO BEGIN WITH: i in no way believe they are consciously encouraging the shipping to make money. they are two people in a long term relationship that navigate a difficult world of being queer, being popular and trying to stay private.
1) “me and my friend” - while i definitely appreciate and understand that, we have to try to not compare dnp to ourselves if we want to make a proper point. i could say that me and my friend x haven’t talked in 2 years but i still consider them a friend, which doesn’t mean that it’s the norm for everyone - same goes for the “me and my friend” arguments concerning dnp. i don’t mean you necessarily, i mean things i’ve seen over the years. “me and my friend always say i love you! we live together! we spend all our time together! we’re platonic!” - that’s awesome but it doesn’t mean anything about dnp
2) i don’t think @templeofshame acted like dnp owe us anything. i took it more as like at this point, dnp admitting to having been platonic this whole time (lol i’m laughing while typing this) would have been a form of queerbaiting. templeofshame never said they owe us a “coming out” or anything like that
3) you have to remember that their audience is largely queer. to a lot of the younger fans, they are some sort of role models and maybe even eye-openers when it comes to their [fans’] own sexuality. they are most likely aware of this and definitely accept it.
4) the biggest thing i guess i should explain is why i believe that them having been platonic this whole time would have been some form of queerbaiting and… and there is no way to put it while still being nice? so forgive me, this is my opinion and i’m not trying to start drama.
they DEFINITELY benefit off phan. they have since the start (or at least dan). back in their younger days, people didn’t really ship them as much as assume they were a couple, that’s how they behaved and most people would jump to that conclusion. when shit hit the fan (vday + general life stress) and dan started lashing out, shipping got real hard. and dnp could have left it there, could have left shipping as that elephant in the room that we’re not allowed to mention, but no
slowly, gradually, they went back to accepting shipping. they haven’t denied anything in years and in many ways they encourage it. and really, no one will make me believe that they - as in the joint brand of dan and phil - would be as popular as they are without the shipping. lots of people watch them for their chemistry and hear of them through phan. they themselves no longer shy away from it - see tatinof fanfic scenes, their fanfics in tabinof, all sorts of things i’m too tired to mention - lots of recent things from this year.
so yeah, i believe they are very aware of phan and accept it, and if they accepted it while being two bros in ~other relationships~ or ~perpetually single~ then yeah, i would feel it’s wrong. not because they said something outright but because 9+ years of certain behaviors are as good as admitting to it.
they are basically out at this point, both as not being straight and being a couple, and i’m happy they got there on their own terms.
bottomline - i firmly believe they’re together and all that is missing is an actual confirmation - which we don’t ‘need’ - but if they weren’t together, we’d be right to be upset by this point.
idk if this answered your ask but i’m really tired and as i said, i’m dumb so you’re better off asking someone cooler than me hah :)

Prince of the Stars | Chapter 5
Voltron meets FairyTail
While Jellal sat on one of the cots that Ezor and Axca had brought in, Lotor was busy piloting the shuttle towards the planet that said "Voltron" was located. Jellal was trying to keep his mind off the pain in his thigh, though it was hard to keep himself distracted.
Ngh! Why am I in so much pain? He thought to himself, Is it because I'm in another reality? The pain flared up again, causing Jellal to groan in pain.
"Agh!" He moaned, clutching his wounded thigh, a look of pain plastered on his face.
"Are you gonna be alright?" He heard Axca's voice, then felt a hand on his shoulder. The mage looked up and saw the galran woman kneeling next to him, holding what seemed to be a pouch with water in it.
"Here, drink some water, you look like your about to keel over." Axca said, handing him the pouch.
"Thank You," He replied wearily.
---------------------------------------
Prince Lotor's space shuttle managed to slip through countless asteroid fields and blasted hundreds of flying comets with the shuttle's weapons. The passengers inside were a bit shaken up due to 'evasive manuvers', but they were okay. The ship's UPS System (Universal Positioning System) finally announced that they were nearing their destination, planet Trigoch.
The shuttle descended into the planet's atmosphere, scanning the area below with the long range scanners. They were looking for a specific structure, a castle to be exact. After a few minutes of flying around, the long range scanners picked up exactly what Prince Lotor was looking for.
"Sir, our scanners have picked up on the Castle of Lion's signature." (A way of saying that the scanners have picked up the Castle's signal)
Once they touched down near the castle, Prince Lotor helped Jellal as they both deboarded the ship. The mage was limping, but he could still walk just fine. A group of people were standing at the entrance of the castle. Jellal didn't recognize any of these people, except for one. It was a woman with long Scarlet red hair, who was dressed in mostly armor. She locked eyes with Jellal and smiled, as she began to make her way over to him.
"Erza, I'm so sorry I-" He began, but was gently shushed by the Scarlet haired woman.
"It's okay, just as long as your okay, that's all I could ever want." She caressed his cheeks and gazed into his dark brown eyes.
A woman can forward to greet them, "I'm Princess Allura and these are the Paladins of Voltron. I'm assuming you've met Prince Lotor?" She asked.
"Yes ma'am I have, ngh!" Jellal groaned and clutched his injured thigh, before collapsing to the ground.
"Oh-no! Your hurt, let me help you." The Princess knelt down next to him while the paladins gathered around. She looked at Erza, who gave her a determined nod of approval. The altean princess then looked at the blue haired mage.
"Okay, this might hurt a little," she said before concentrating her energy on Jellal's wounded thigh.
A sharp pain began shooting up and down his leg. He squeezed his eyes shut and grit his teeth, "Ngh," he then felt a gentle hand on his shoulder and looked up, seeing Erza smiling gently. He gave a weak smile before biting his lip as the worst of the pain gripped him, "Augh-hah!"
"I'm so sorry, I know it hurts, I'm almost done." The Princess said and her energy glowed even brighter while the wound completely healed.
Jellal sighed and took the princess's hand in his and thanked her.
"I'm glad I was able to help, now let's head inside." she said with a smile.

Chao, Ade - I'm so happy that you like it! 🥺❤️
Chao, yeah, everybody ships McDanno there (geez, I think these comics are gonna to be Literally Each Character's Reaction 😂 who will be next? Kame? Gerard? Random suspect? xD).
I admit that I was a bit afraid of making this one cause: Navy (oh, I hate what Navy sometimes does and what it did to Steve's life), Doris (Ade shares my "Doris ships McDanno" headcanon but I know that Doris is rather "persona non grata" in this fandom), Joe (some people hate him too). But on the other hand... (Ade wanted this). I read an article about some queer Navy man (if I remember correctly he was a Seal) who said that he had a real friends in Navy and they supported him and loved him ❤️ and Wade & Co... They were for Steve. They risked for him. So I saw them being Steve's Support Group all the time 😊 Oh, and they had to see too (I guess that being so skilled like them helps but Wade is right - anyone can see), especially Joe (I still remember his comments about Steve having house big enough to live there with Danny and about boys being like married couple, damn 😂).
And I thought "relationships are relationships, friend talks and jokes... you talk and joke with all friends in the same way, right?" (well, I do and it means a lot to me that you Chao and Ade find this comics positive but if for someone some lines are "too much" - I'm sorry, I didn't want Wade and other guys to sound mean, they're just very happy and in goofy supportive mood and Frank truly ships Ice and Mav ☺️ - Danno is Iceman, isn't he? 😂). Hah, Ade, yeah - Joe and Wade are 80's music fanboys (oh, they were like 30/40-something (?) then so it's still their youth heh), definitely.
Chao, I'm so happy that Joe made you laugh 😁 I guess he regrets very much (geez, he was literally like "go date her, Steve, go date her" - Joe was more excited about this than Steve was xD). But well, when he met Danny and saw what he did to Steve... Joe had no other choice, there was only one: "ship McDanno" 😄 I'm so happy that you like Wade (ayy, I always saw him as a ray of sunshine in that sad shitty Navy world - he's so nice, supportive, friendly to Danny and all Ohana, loyal to his people more than to his country and ah, I headcanon him as a second father figure - after Joe - to Steve 🤭 gosh, Wade is quite similar to John, I mean the face, what if he's John's and Deb's lost cousin? xD).
and Steve’s face is just like “oh God, were we *that* obvious?!” 🤣
Yeah 😁 Also: "Guys, come on, it's more and more embarassing, you know. La da dee da da?! Are you... the same guys I once knew? Geez, Joe... I wanna record you and send this to all Tadpoles, you know? No, wait. It's about me and Danno. My old friends don't know that... They don't know, right? Joe? Wade? You didn't tell whole world about us... before us... right? Right?!". (hah, poor Stevie really has no idea how much obvious McDanno is and how much powerful - it's hard not to be a gossip bird "You know, Steve loves Danno"/"Oh, I know! Wait... You mean he knows it too now? What a fantastic news!"😂).
And I love the idea of Doris being a McDanno shipper! I can totally see her planning their marriage like a top-secret stealth op.
Whoah! ❤️
I believe that she would (I mean Doris from earlier seasons) want to do everything best for McDanno (yes, best wedding too). Like "I was a shitty mother in the past but now and forever I wanna be the best, I'll be living for them, for these kids" (but not "too much" Doris, McDanno won't need you at their honeymoon etc. 😂). Gosh, her being like "Steve, take your hubby on a date. Mary, have a good time with your friends. Grandma is gonna have a great time with her little angels!" - it would be cute 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️❤️❤️ I'm immensely happy that you like my stuff 🥲
Bonus 1
Bonus 2
Bonus 3
#McDanno comics
@adelaydebclouds wanted something about Navy so here it is - a very Navy AU 😂 Yeah, Navy may suck but Steve always has some friends there. She also wanted something about Doris being McDanno shipper so I made the bonus 🙂
Ade, I hope you'll like it a bit 😉 And I'm so sorry that you waited too long. Thank you for everything ❤️
And mahalo to all my sunshines 💕 You always give me so much energy! 😘

I know sketchyy-pencil makes fan art for the ship and well... I'm an angst whore D: can you please make an angst one shot where she cheats on you or something... To tie it with mysme lets pretend she is Jaehee and you are MC lmao
Fuck MC and Jaehee this story is about me and @sketchyy-pencil ( also if you want to send HCS for the ship I guess you can since this was really easy for me to write lmao)
I never knew life would treat me this way. My life was actually looking great; I had an angel as a S/O, my job was amazing and I was finally happy. Hah. Life’s a bitch. I never knew taking my love to dinner would actually turn into the worst night of my life. During our dinner conversation I noticed she seemed distant. Hell she’s been distant for months. I thought it was her job stressing her out so I made sure everything was in place: having the apartment cleaned, making sure we have everything ready, and having a hot meal waiting for her. Yeah it was hard working and taking care of our home but she was worth it. She was worth my blood sweat and tears. She use to enjoy my cooking till gradually, she stopped eating my food. I already ate don’t worry or I’m not hungry was the constant excuses she gave me. One night I even decided to run her a bubble bath but she yelled at me saying I was too nice to her. Her words did hurt me but I didn’t pay attention to it because I knew she was stressed. I didn’t pay much attention to her because at the time, I didn’t want our arguments to escalate.
During dinner, I remembered I asked her how was work and she simply took a sip of wine and told me “ I’m in love with someone else”. My heart stopped beating because I looked into her eyes and I knew she was telling the truth. I continue eating my food and told her to answer my question and she did. We didn’t talk much after. We finally made it to our driveway and I went to her side of the door and opened it for her like I always had. Now we are sitting on the couch acting as strangers. I was speechless because I was still trying to comprehend those six words that caused agony within me. I took a deep breath and looked at the floor “ How long was this going on? I won’t get mad at you I promise” I whispered. She ran her fingers through her hair like she always does when she’s nervous “ For 5 months now” she sighed. I cleared my throat and laid down at the couch “ I hope the person makes you really happy. You deserve all the happiness in the world my angel. I love you so much that I prefer your happiness over mine. So I understand why you cheated on me. I was no longer your happiness. I’m sorry for not being enough” my voice hitched.
I felt her eyes pierce through my skin and she started to cry while punching my shoulder “Why aren’t you crying ! Why are you not ha-hating me! Please hate m-me! You were enough you were more than enough! Fucking hate me! Tell me off!! Say you never want to see me again!! ” she screeched. I just laughed while she was hitting me. I finally looked into those beautiful eyes again “There is no point in hitting me angel. Your words already hurt me enough to where a bullet won’t even do shit to me. I might as well add that I can never hate you. I respect and love you so much that my ass will support you in every decision you made. I told you from the beginning, I will stand by your side even if you make the wrong choice. Even if it means you loving someone else.” I uttered. I stood up from the couch and kneeled between her. I grabbed her hands and gently kissed it for the last time. I closed my eyes for a quick second and I felt hot tears rolling down my face. I gazed into her eyes “ I need to know one thing. Just one thing. When did you stop loving me?” I managed to say. It’s easy to see her emotions through her eyes. Tears were rolling down her cheeks and it took all the strength that I had to not wipe her tears away. That was no longer my job no more. She decided to pick someone else for the job and that caused pain to ache into my bones. I felt her fingers try to wipe my tears but I slapped her hand away from my face. Her breath hitched “I ne-never stopped loving you” she whispered ever so gently. Her eyes were telling me the truth but I knew her heart was lying to her mind “Bullshit. You don’t hurt the people you love” I hissed. Tears were caressing her face ever so lightly. She grabbed my hand and forced her fingers to interlock with mine. She brought my hand to her lips and kissed it every so gently. I took my hand away from her and held her hand to my heart, “Remember way back then when we first started talking, you were so hard yet so easy to figure out. Your eyes showed me your soul and it captured my heart. You were my heaven and hell. I’m curious though, do you remember that long message I sent you because you teased me that I couldn’t be sweet?” I mentioned. She laughed and it sounded like angels singing to my ears. She nodded while cleaning her eyes. I fixed her hair because it was covering her face “I still mean every word from it” I stuttered while I got up and kissed her forehead.
She gave me a puzzled look while I went and grabbed a suitcase to pack all my clothes and belongings. It was a half hour later till I had my suitcases at the front door. She told to that she wanted to leave and I told her that I didn’t want to stay because I didn’t want to be surrounded by memories of her. She sat down at the couch and I went to her and outlined a cross to her forehead “I hope God gives you many more blessings and I hope you are happy with your new life and love” I said. She looked at me with fresh tears in her eyes and there was a lump in my throat. I was ready to leave but I stopped and looked back “I will never know where we went wrong but there is one thing that I know” I whimpered. I walked closer to her and I put my hand inside my right pocket taking out a blue velvet small box. I opened it revealing the engagement ring and placed it on the table in front of her. I examined the living room once last time and my eyes finally laid on hers “ I was suppose to give it to you after dinner. It doesn’t belong to me. It was meant for you so you can do whatever you want with it. Thank you. It was an honor having my heart broken by you” I said while tears were running down my eyes. I gave her one last look and walked away.
Goodbye my love.
Extra Angsty Bonus:
I ran down the stairs with the little belongings I had. I heard my name being yelled by her but I kept going down the stairs faster. I finally reached the lobby but she took the elevator and she tried to stop me from leaving. She went on her knees begging me to stay but I pushed her off me and told her to never put her pride down for anyone. I ran through the double doors and made my way through the streets. The cold air was burning my throat and I decided to look back at her for one last time but suddenly everything turned black…..

Hello~ For your meme~~ Prepare yourself, I'm dropping a bunch of asks: 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 12. Feel free to do some or all. Thank you for putting the meme together! It's been so fun to see people gush about their characters~
Wo-o-ow, this is gonna take a while to answer, hah.
1. Siblings - Arland - Constance.
A thing about Constance: it’s not that Felicity isn’t pretty, because she is. But Constance has that silken locks, baby blue eyes thing going on that makes her look a little like a collector porcelain doll. Felicity, as I mentioned, was fourteen when they parted, and so she has a much exaggerated view of the differences in their appearance stuck in her head. Probably if she had blue eyes and straight hair she would complain bitterly that curly hair is sophisticated and gray eyes are mysterious, but that’s just Felicity dramatizing herself as usual.
Another thing about Constance: in Marguerite’s continuity, the two of them had a very torrid affair. Much to Constance’s misfortune, since though Marguerite was fond of her, she’s otherwise perfectly ruthless and unfeeling in her ambition.
3. Siblings - Jiyel - free for all.
Periwinkle has one younger sister, sixteen to her eighteen. Magnolia is far more self-possessed than you might expect a girl like her to be. Very sociable, excellent at picking up subtext and subtle clues, tuned in to important gossip lines… everything Peri is not. If only she’d been eighteen, or even seventeen, they could have sent her to Vail Isle instead of her sister. She’d have done a much more creditable job of it, no doubt, although it would have moved her a category up from “too smart for her own good” to “a creditable threat”. It’s not likely Jiyel would agree to accept the sibling of a former delegate to the examinations, especially considering Peri’s circumstances. Magnolia will just have to sow havoc, break hearts, and take no prisoners on her home turf, so to speak.
My second scholar doesn’t even have a set name of her own, yet, but she does have a few bratty younger half-brothers. They don’t get on (much, or well).
5. Siblings - other - A/U.
Jack (TC) and Bel (pirate) both have sibling A/Us. The former, when Leopold bites the metaphorical bullet and remarries, and her step-mother acts as regent while her younger half-siblings are growing up. The Count of Holt wouldn’t marry just anyone, though, so in this scenario the step-mom is far from wicked, and content to let Jack run wild and be single and pretty damn gay, more or less indefinitely.
Bel’s story is complicated in a different way, because it involves Kendra Blackthorn, and pregnancy is the sort of thing that would put even her out of commission as a captain, for a longer time than she’s pleased with. There’s a reason she and Gabriel only had one kid, and even that had to do with him missing her when she was away, and needing to have someone close by. Supposing, though, that Kendra agreed (some years later, and partly because of her daughter begging for a baby brother or sister) to have one, possibly even two more children. But this would have changed the trajectory of her later career a lot, not just because of all the raids she wouldn’t have gone on. There’s also the kids and their education, and the deals she would have made with other captains to get each of them a position. And with more than one kid around, Christabel might have decided not even to go into piracy at all. So you see, there’s a ripple effect.
7. Parents - Corval - mother.
Marguerite’s mother is named Solange. She’s… rather older than people expect, judging from her daughter’s age. She married late and only had one child, a good few years into her marriage. Her position with the (previous) Empress effectively estranged her from her siblings and the rest of her family, but they have a number of very successful shipping enterprises and a great deal of land, and she grew up very wealthy. She wanted to be closer to the heart of things, though. Her parents, her father especially, were as close as Corval nobles can come to being politically uninvolved. The greater family line has a remarkably high life expectancy for this very reason (also, good genes).
They didn’t intend to push her away, but being so close to the Empress and tending to her caprice and her tempers is… pretty much a full-time job, plus overtime. Solange was always charming, though, and she excelled at the popular court game of appearing to be all sweetness and light, while hiding a dagger in one hand and a passive-aggressive jab in the other. The Empress adored her, and would have married her into the Imperial line, if she could have figured out a way to do it. Instead Solange remained more-or-less happily single, and at her beck and call. Until she selected a minor noble from the Revaire ambassador’s service to marry her off to, ostensibly to create stronger international ties.
Solange knows her duty, and Marguerite has always been her consolation. Not sure how she’s gonna feel about her daughter attempting to marry into the new Revaire royalty. Ambition, she can understand, for sure. But she sent her daughter away because she wanted her to go someplace safer, not to the one royal court in all the lands that’s actually worse than the pit of vipers she calls home.
11. Parents - Jiyel.
Periwinkle and Magnolia’s mother does not come from a noble line. She was a scholar at the royal university. Her mother was a scribe, and worked fifteen hours a day taking letters at the marketplace before she got a fixed position working at the university’s post office. Her mother made ink for a living. So, classic social climbers, and no one has better cause than them to believe in the mythical Jiyel meritocracy. Fern reared her daughters on the belief that if they worked hard and applied themselves, they would be rewarded for it. Their father is still waiting on his name, but most of what’s important about him has to do with his wife and his daughters. His family is noble, sure, but not large or old or influential enough to cause a proper scandal when he essentially married the secretary’s daughter. He adores Fern, in his own weird and understated way. He loves his studies and his garden, and he’s incredibly proud of both his daughters.
12. Parents - Revaire.
I write a great deal about Oswald and Flora in the opening part of Allegra’s story, which I’ve been working on lately. The long and short of it is, Flora was not only a beautiful girl and a great flirt, but also an exceptionally vibrant personality. Oswald met her when he was away from home, and his mother wasn’t around to curb him, so he fell hard and fast and they were quickly engaged. The early years of their marriage were quite a whirlwind, and even Allegra has a few good memories from then, before the other kids were born. Oswald is very clever, but impulsive and totally unrealistic. Flora is vain and capricious. The relationship between her and Allegra was often strained, firstly because of their violently opposed natures, and second because Allegra takes strongly after Katherine, Oswald’s mother. Who detested Flora from day one. Their mother-daughter relationship is pretty much a lost cause, by now. But the kids either raised themselves or were raised by Allegra, and Allegra herself benefited from the patronage of both her grandmother and her Aunt Geraldine (the nun).
On her good days, though, Flora can be soft and warm and kind. Deep down in her gooey center there is a very small seed of the only positive legacy Allegra got from her mother. That, and the curly hair. Chases all have straight dark hair, and dark eyes. Allegra has the Chase nose and chin, which is rather awkward on a lady. The most obvious family resemblance, other than her father, is with Ursa (fourth sister) and Nicky (fifth overall, first son). She doesn’t look a thing like Katherine, though, because Katherine didn’t come from an old blood Revaire family.
