Wow I have not posted on Tumblr for the longest time and not sure if I still have followers left. 😅

Anyway I found a new hobby. I like doing an analysis on characters, chapters, shows, ships etc. that I like. And here is another analysis of one of my favorite ships.

Before I begin a warning is ahead:

Bakudeku, one of the controversial ships in BNHA fandom to this day, and I have a very controversial take on this already controversial ship. Something possibly even most bkdk shippers themselves won't all agree.

I think bakudeku was a good ship from the start.

Yes, you read it right. I thought bkdk was a good ship from Chapter 1.

And before everyone starts screaming "Abuse apologist", "why do you like seeing Deku suffer" "He literally told Izuku to kill himself" "He bullied him for years" read the thread through it's entirety. For goodness sake I am not an abuse apologist. As someone who had her fair share of bullying in the past, I will never stand in favor of bullying, EVER!!! Period!!! And Izuku is one of my favorite characters in BNHA, I would not want him getting hurt.

And I am not saying this because I think bkdk will be cannon. I can not pretend to know what Horikoshi will or will not do. Hey, if it becomes cannon it is great and if it doesn't, it doesn't.

I am not here to shit on other ships either and state that somehow bkdk is superior. Everyone got their faves and you are all valid. You are not supposed to agree with me. All I am saying is that the hate it got was misplaced from the start.

Let's start from the beginning. Obviously I am not gonna cover everything, it is not possible. I can write a long novel about this ship at this point but unfortunately I don't have the time.

1. The infamous Chapter 1 where most hate comes from. And I know the obvious, and as I said I will not be an apologist for Bakugou when he himself agrees at this point that he was wrong. And yes, everyone sees this and yet does not focus on the one THING.

The scene that started it all. The scene that convinced All Might to give his power to Deku.

Yes, I mean the sludge villain incident. From what I read, on that Chapter, at that point, Izuku was at his lowest. Even All Might, his hero, told him that he should stop chasing his dream of being a hero. Then Izuku sees someone being attacked by sludge villain and is like "I am sorry I am at fault but a hero will come and save you". Just look at the panel.

He is horrified and thinking it is his fault yet he is ready to leave it be and wait for a hero come save the day. Again, it doesn't sound like Deku we know, but he is at his lowest here. Then he notices it is Kacchan

So for a lot of people who say "he could have done it for anyone", maybe you are right but I doubt it. And it would not have been a "my leg started moving on their own" moment (at least that is what I think). As I mentioned before, the prior narrative suggested that he was willing to let it go and wait for a hero. So the fact that the person assaulted was Bakugou, it made him act without thinking.

So let's go to the parallel shall we?

Chapter 285 - Katsuki Bakugou rises. My favorite Chapter in BNHA

Katsuki, without giving it a second thought, jumps to save Deku. He does not go for the glory, he goes for saving (which is unlike the Baku we know). His body moves on it's own. Could he had done it for anyone? Maybe. Is this moment necessarily romantic? You can argue it is or not. But there is definitely a deep connection between Izuku and Katsuki. And they are mirroring each other.

2. Deku tells OFA secret to Katsuki directly. Many people forget that Katsuki is the first one to know about Izuku’s secret because Izuku told him the first. That is how much he trusts him.

And one thing about Izuku is that he never stopped believing Katsuki and always saw the good in him. Some ppl thought that his admiration for Katsuki was misplaced. But was it really? Looking at where Katsuki is now, I would say the kid was right all along. You could say, he knows Katsuki the best.

Which brings me to the other topic.

3. They know each other the best. They are the closest people to each other.

Izuku and Katsuki are really close. You could say as expected since they have been together since childhood. But if they had a fallout like ppl assume, then why are they still considered the closest people to each other?

Just look at these panels.

Even villains calls them out on their closeness.

4. Izuku acts very much out of character when Katsuki is injured in a posessive and overly protective sort of way. They do say love makes you do crazy things 😉 😉

Izuku is not someone who will be obsessive or jealous for anyone. He seems like the most understanding person right? Not the kind of person that would get aggressive under any circumstances.

Try hurting Bakugou and see how Izuku will react. I mean look at these manga panels.

Uhm possessive Deku. Damn. Tokoyami was taken too yet he yells to give him Bakugou back. Also fun fact apperently in Japanese version he uses the word "kaese" which means give (what belong to me) back to me. And compress calls him out on it as well.

He completely lost it in chapter 285 (Katsuki Bakugou Rises) when Bakugou was attacked.

SO I WATCHED RISE OF THE SKYWALKER. And I have mixed feelings. Especially cause I’m not a fan of reylo. They’re 2nd cousins. But ANYWAY I have created and alternative ending to all this with my OC.

So background: her name is Kitana Fett. She’s the second child of Boba Fett, the bounty hunter. She has an older sister in the jewelry trade business. She was a roguish bounty hunter who used daggers and a spear since she wasn’t as good as her father. She ends up looking for the Map in the force awakens. She and Poe get caught up in the Kylo mess. That’s how she ends up with him. She becomes the first orders official bounty hunter until Kylo and Snoke realize she’s force sensitive which would make sense because her mother was a Jedi-turned to the dark side Chiss, those red eyed blue skinned ppl. She’s looks human however as she can switch back and forth but chooses to stay human unless her body undergoes stress. So they turn her into an apprentice for Kylo. Hux and Kitana hate each other. Her and Kylo fall in love and all that jazz. Kitana finds out she has a force scream, rare and powerful. That makes her go crazy from the dark side influenece after months of training. She becomes Lady Sion. She becomes almost sith level crazy eventually and Snoke puts her into quaretined sleep basically. Last Jedi happens. Kylo kills Snoke. Whole “curse is broken.” Sion is free and rules as commander of the first order and Kylo becomes supreme leader. They marry and other things. Yada yada. ANYWAYS.

Alternate ending to RoSkywalker

So Kitana/Sion finds the helmet. She touches it after it calls to her. She finds out the truth just as REN did. She realized that she was also apart of the plan. Ren needed someone to keep him to the dark and that’s what she was. His anchor. Now that she realizes the truth of her turn to the dark side. She hears of traitors in the ship.

(So switch out hux for her)

She kills hux and the troopers. Especially since hux did her absolutely dirty in years past. She helps the crew back to the falcon. Finn asks why is he helping and she says “I found the truth. Of everything. With Rey, with Kylo, with palpatine. I’ve lost myself. A bounty hunter never forgets who they are. This is the way” Finn realizes and thanks her. Finn tells Poe she was a bounty hunter in the ship.

Fast forward to the battle on the Death Star. Sion and Finn run towards them but both of them push them back as they are a distraction. Jannah holds them both back as there is nothing they can do.

Rey impales Kylo and Kitana feels it through the force. She screams “NOOOOO” as she was already far back with Poe and Jannah. And in tears, breaking down in front of everyone. She feels the force come back as Rey heals him and runs back to Kylo who is now Ben.

After Ben throws his saber away, she shouts out to him as Ben. He turns around. She runs to him and hugs him tight crying. She looks up and sees in his eyes and even as close as they are. “Ben....” “I know. I’m sorry. I’m sorry what I did to you. I’m sorry of everything I put you through. What palpatine put you through. What smoke put you through. I’m sorry about your parents. I felt them through you. I know about Rey. What he has planned, what he did to us, to me. It may seem like it was fake to u but our love was real. As Kylo and Sion, our love is real. As us now, our love is real. No one can take that away. I will always be right with you.” As she puts her hand on his cheek. “Sion...” he starts to say. “. Kitana” she corrects them. “Kitana Skywalker.”

Fast forward so instead of just him, it’s the both of them. Kylo doesn’t have his saber just his blaster. They run into the knights of Ren. “Oh fucking great.” -Kitana

They try to fight, Kitana doesn’t have her lightsaber anyone due to the same reason and has her old staff and daggers. “Lightsaber would be nice right now wouldn’t you think?” -Kitana

Enter here that whole Rey Ben thing. “Oh well call me a glavardon”

“You don’t shut up do you?” “You act like you didn’t know this before you married me?” and proceed fighting.

Ben splits up and goes for Rey taking down shit. And they both try to take him on. As Palpatine tries to take them out and realizes of their strength together. Kitana gains as much strength as she can, showing her true form as a chiss. Deep blue skin and red eyes. Her white hair from sith power to her black natural hair. from behind, force screams to break some of his equipment and take down the guards, even breaking some of the arena dome there in. Throwing daggers as well however the stop in mid air due to him. He uses the force and pulls Kitana over from behind towards them, as she grows Incredibles weak after. “ a force screamer. So rare. So POWERful. But so weak minded. How well of a Sith u would have become?” He sends the daggers back towards her. Stabbing her in the heart especially. Ben and Rey scream “Nooooo”. Palpatine sends her towards them as Ben runs and crawls to her side. Just as Kitana felt Ben, it was in Reverse. Kylo is in full on tears. Holding her head up and rocking her in his chest, pushing her head back. Kitana looking up at him, raising her hand to his cheek. “ Ben... I lov..” “ I know” he interrupts her. “I know” Kitana smiles as they communicate through the force. Kylo kisses her passionately as she dies. ( UGH NOT MY BABY). Palatine caries on with his plan and takes the life force myirad byraid thing out of them and it all continues the same EXCEPT

That disgusting ass kiss. They cousins man. Anyway instead of the kiss they touch foreheads. Kylo whispers into her ear. “Endor. LB 5-5”with his dying breath. She looks at him and he and he sends a type of map to her brain as he dies (NOT MY OTHER BABY MY HUSBAND) so instead of going straight to the main base. She flys past it. She feels a small force of energy of grief. It takes her back to the base planet but not so far away from it. They see from the ground she’s going past base and Finn and Poe follow it. Rey lands in a large wooded area with a large supposed rock. As it actually was a bunker. Going out to the door. She sees a keypad and types in LB 55. The door opens and find toys everywhere. Food and things scattered. A droid deactivated in the corner. Looking around, she hears movement and sees two small children. Rey is a taken back. “ I’m not hear to hurt you...” she puts her saber down. “ I’m Rey” a girl gasps. “Rey?!” She runs out and hugs her. Rey is astonishing taken back. Not knowing who these kids are. “Mummy and Papa said you would come!” The little girl said, still hugging. Rey becomes confused. Not putting the pieces fully together. “ what is your name?” She looks down at the girl and examines closely. The little girl had a long nose, and freckles with a tanned skin complexion (cause Kitana was a dark Polynesian -I think PRINCESS..cause Ben was a prince). She had long curly hair from what it looked like in the ponytail it was in. Her eyes were brown. “I’m Lei-Han! I’m five!” She raised up her hand to Rey,. She had a blue speckle on her hand. “ Leí-Han....Leía and Han...L” she said, out loud. She looked quickly at the other child who was slowly coming out of the dark. “And what is your name?” He hestitantly came out of the light, sucking his thumb. He was almost a carbon copy of Ben. “Boba...” the pieces were put together. These were Ben and Kitana’s kids. Ben and Kitana sent them there after Rey and the crew landed on the ship to keep them safe from everyone and everything. Boba was the name of a bounty hunter, she remembered. As she thought, Ben has named the girl after his parents, that must mean that she also named him to, after her father. Her father was Boba Fett. She was a bounty hunter. A bounty hunter before everything. “B..” as she understood the code. L.B. Lei-Han and Boba. 5 -5. How old they are. 5 and 5. Meaning they were twins. “Where mommy and papa?” Boba asked. Reys face sank. She knew they must have felt it. As she saw in his eyes, he felt it. They were both force sensitive. They must have felt the connection. But they were young. They wouldn’t have know. “ on a very important mission...and they told me to tell you that they love you so very much” Rey said, grabbing Lei-Han’s hand. “Now...lets bring you home” she reaches out for Boba. Hestitanely he takes it.

So it continues to the end and when leía and Luke show up. ANAKIN,BEN, AND KITANA show up. Cause Anakin and Ben deserved to be there not gunna lie.

So I apologize for the sporadic writing and errors and shit detail cause I typed this as broad as I could since I needed to get my thoughts onto some type of paper. Also since I wrote this not even 30 minutes after watching the movie lol. I probably will post my smaller fics I have about Kitana. So y’all can Get better detail idk

Update: I'm a few eps into s4 already and I'm dreading it ending Bc I've inhaled these far too quickly and I want more lol. I still love Delle seyah. You're totally right about the show wanting us to keep liking her. She's been hilarious and had heart and growth, & I think that makes the difference in not wanting her to suffer and pay for what she did. Plus, Johnny shooting her felt like a bit of revenge for pawter. I also think the fact that everyone is morally gray to a point helps. (1/?)

Every single person on the show has done some heinous shit. Some on purpose, some on accident, but the entire world is kinda built on heinous shit happening & them either perpetrating it or kinda ignoring it (like the slavery stuff/ letting guards die for them etc). Hell, pawter made a bunch of ppl die to win her battle. Dutch & co may be the good guys, but their hands are far from clean, which I think makes it easier to accept stuff that Delle seyah and aneela have done. (2/3)

I’ll have to see where the rest of the show leads, but I think this may be the one show I have where I would ordinarily hate some characters & possibly the overall msg but it works for kj, maybe Bc I love Dutch / aneela / Delle seyah lol. I tend to go more for righteous vengeance & this show isn’t that. Too much gray to be that. I think Root was the closest I’ve gotten to rooting for “villain” & we never see much of her evil past. Loved Regina too, but didn’t finish ouat Bc I got mad at it (3/3)

Anon, you watched it too quickly! s4 already?? Ah, man, I wish I could watch s3 and s4 again for the first time. s3 especially, WHAT a season. Queens rise! The kiss! Torture and ice cream! Tether! The Scarback origins! Season three had something so dynamic and epic and well-balanced, it was genuinely a really well done season of TV. Remember that moment at the end of 3x09? Not to spoil so uh, where Pree’s Wayfaring Stranger cuts back in right as it’s happening? Yeah, that moment. >_> The direction and music and everything went so hand in hand, all season long.

Although, I did really love season 4 too. There was one ep in the middle of it I really disagreed with (and then another I kinda disagreed with right after) but they seemed to ease back on the characterization they were pushing. It’s amazing to me how even with as much of a setup season it was, trying to fight back to a status quo and not even make progress in the fight against the Lady, but just to a point where they could build from, it was still so good. Weird dynamics, evolving family, things that worked even when they shouldn’t have. Really, even though s4+5 were announced together and written at the same time, it’s s3+4 that fit so well together.

All right, okay, so it might have been a bit of an exaggeration when I said I don’t really root for bad guys, because once I thought about it, I like so many. Root, HG Wells in Warehouse 13, Eva in NCIS: NOLA. I actually have a pretty extensive list of villains in f/f ships, lol. I think what I meant by exception was that when it came to Delle Seyah vs Pawter, because our baddies usually do not directly KILL main characters, I was okay with instantly forgiving Delle Seyah? I stopped watching OUAT a few seasons in and I loved Regina and SQ, from the start, before her background was even revealed, but when it came to Regina vs Snow? I sided with Snow. I was pissed at Villanelle, the ultimate bad girl, for Bill. Until Eve basically gave permission to continue to like her being still as infatuated as ever.

And I think that’s how it usually works, I’ll go with the main characters. And here’s where my exception comes in because for the whole of season 3 things only got worse between the good guys and Delle Seyah + Aneela and I was somehow rooting for them all? Like, maybe they’ll make up when it comes down to it? (And they did!)

As you said, she did have things happening to her, Johnny shooting her, then she had Gander the way Villanelle post-Bill ep had Nadia’s boyfriend, antagonists so annoying you went back to rooting for a murderer.  And she herself changes a bit, she helps Johnny, she helps Bea, she cares and suffers. Which is how Root and Regina and HG really won us over, right. We care about people by seeing them care for others and be cared for. Aneela was barely in season 4 but the way she was adored by her family and Delle Seyah, that did so much to endear her to us.

You’re right, everyone’s done something bad, but there’s a difference between–or maybe a scale of–redemption, between people like Dutch and D’av who feel guilty and terrible about what they did and then people like Delle Seyah, or NCIS: NOLA’s Eva, or…Star Trek: Discovery’s Terran!Georgiou. In Discovery, we like Michael and Ash because we see their struggles and progress, while Georgiou is like an asshole cat who we like for being an asshole cat. There are just different expectations and allowances for different characters? Even a little growth and empathy from those characters is such a huge win.

It’s because of their environment too, like, Georgiou from her hellish Terran universe, Delle Seyah growing up among the Qresh. Certain things are just accepted and expected, as you said, cruel things. Killjoys is definitely a gray kind of world as opposed to, say, Supergirl or OUAT, where morality is set up to define character worth and people are allowed to stray so much less. 

Killing Eve goes all the way in the other direction. There’s a distance the narrative sets between us and the victims. A fair number of innocent people die in the first eps, but it’s not until she kills Bill that we’re mad, and even then, because of the way the main character handles it, we get over it. And then sometimes narrative distance is shrunk so we might not even like allies. Jeri Hogarth, on a gray show, sets my teeth on edge. I don’t like her, despite her being a lesbian and my massive childhood crush on CAM. The way she’s bad, the way the show doesn’t really ever soften her through Jessica or other characters, I can never like her.

Anyway like, i am a Shallow sw viewer who isn’t actually likely to kick up a fuss abt what i didn’t like in any serious way even tho i got issues, But i wanna say what i really liked b/c?? there were moments in that movie with themes i Loved and i don’t wanna be negative nancy for this franchise because i am actually incapable of taking it seriously tbh no matter how wtf or wild it is and i just Gotta;

First of all. The entire franchise was worth Rey it for calling Leia Master. 

like, they added her in best as they could, which wasn’t fabulous but i can’t really say how they’d work their way around that tbh so i’m not gonna rag on abt the Leia plot But god they proper confirmed she was a Legit Jedi thank u V much.

also the effects on old palps were Incredible and Creepy and!!! props to the vis effects teams

idk what extended sw canon now says about force powers being able to heal But the old eu book shatterpoint is one of my faves and i loved the inclusion that Rey can just like. Heal. 

also lol i heard daisy ridley on the radio this morning and she was supposed to be requesting songs to air but didn’t know the names of them and i have Never related to anybody more than i did in that moment. 

look ok, that rey and kylie could literally fight each other when not in the same room was Really Cool ok

tho i would have Paid to have seen the pov of an outsider while they had lightsaber battles from miles away tbh b/c that would have been Wild

i had one Horrified moment where i thought the ‘rise of skywalker’ thing was a Pun about kylie dragging his ass up from that hole and u have No Idea how thankful i was @ the Rise sequence

also i, a massive mace windu fan, was Ecstatic his voice was present in the proceedings

which were A) tacky and B) Abdolutely my favourite thing ever.

and look ok, i Always hated the idea of Rey being related to the skywalkers and Any crap meta that she had to be family for it to Count properly. It was an insult to found family, any form of adoption etc etc and i am.. Actually very mollified by this familial turn of events lol. It has a certain symmetry. and sw is literally built on the idea that history repeats but... different. 

i was’t against rey being related to anybody, i just didn’t want her to be a skywalker because like... she was gonna Be a skywalker b/c legacy isn’t about blood, and uh... least i was right. i am naturally happy abt this. 

also when i watched tlj the first time i was CONVINCED at the end of the movie she’d raise luke’s x wing from the depths as yoda did for luke in esb, and was Super off put that i was wrong. I was not wrong just... my timing was off. luke rose the x wing for her. ur yoda now luke. deal with it. 

the other ex storm troopers who laid down their weapons!!! all of them!!! fin is not alone, they only have power by making you think you are alone!!!

also richard e grant’s performance was actually kind of chilling

but i am glad that i can still happily say that every character in sw Is a total unmitigated idiot. All of them. Stupid. Idiot rights. Yes, this is a plus point. 

i also liked that it’s Kind of obvious hamill and ford picked up slack for what Would have been carrie’s scenes??? Like, it’s horrible she’s not there but they obviously care to do that in her stead. it’s sad but makes you smile. 

as much as i’m not a kyle fan and never will be, and as much as i am not a fan of the ship, i can’t say there there weren’t decent thematic threads around the rey and kylie plot. Her symbolically killing kylie in a fit of rage, actively actually rising to his bait, realising as luke did in the roj climax that she had let the dark side get the better of her But having the power to take that Back and heal him and Stop even after she’d done something. It’s like the originals but not. And so, kylo is dead and Solo walks again. Was this plot My thing? No. But i appreciate the symbolism of him being stabbed through the stomach like he did to Han, and i appreciate the contrast of her actions after doing that versus His after he did it. What a difference. 

i said this wasn’t a complaint post but u wanna know the worst part abt the movie??? how cheap the sith dagger looked. surely u can do better than that???

anyway, 3po’s red eyed when he translated the sith was hilarious tbh. 

also hilarious: sw’s response to hiring Another brown haired white lady was to Only show her eyes in a way that was Incredibly conspicuous and was therefore unintentionally hilarious.

this is a Bit of a side note, but Luke was Perfectly in tune with tlj luke??? Because tlj luke changed tune before the end of That movie when he gucci booted his astral ass to distract kylie, him Saying his fear was wrong was merely verbal confirmation of what was portrayed in tlj. really. That’s not them backing away from tlj, it’s afffirming it. 

i really loved that hux just got That death. I liked  that while he Was used for ridiculous comic relief, the narrative did not forget he was just straight up evil.

anyway what i’m saying is the ot3 is Sailing in my head. look how it ended!!! Sailing. 

however, i would like it known that the lady at the end Should have heard the word skywalker and Run for the hills. missed a chance.

so honestly i think the quote that best sums this up is thor’s quote about stopping trying to be what’s expected and just being who he is. i’m aware that characters are written and ultimately the writer controls what happens BUT i think that perfectly sums up the difference between character arcs & in character actions.

everyone is complaining about thor and steves arcs and it’s like..... arc wise yes thor shouldve been king & steve shouldve acclimated to the future. but arcs are ALSO written and most of the time characters are forced into situations and it’s a completed character arc bc it rhymes/it’s poetic/it completes a cycle. BUT that is not the same thing as a character doing something in character. steve WANTED to go back and live with peggy. thor WANTED to explore the universe away from duty. maybe they didnt complete specific arcs that everyone expected but... they’re being who they are. in contrast to that you have tony who WANTED to stay with his family but chose to sacrifice himself & this completed his character arc beautifully. but those two kinds of ends for characters are not at odds with each other and one is not automatically bad writing bc the other one exists.

that being SAID here’s some more general thoughts

the basic backstory 

the costas family comes from portugal, they’ve been invested in oil and politics since the countries independence. her mother was a beauty queen turned stay at home mom and her father runs the business, the two first met on the day they got married so they may not have been madly in love but bia still has fond memories of her time with her parents

bia actually doesn’t have any memories of portugal because in 1970 her family was run out of the country ( basically it came out to the public that her family wasn’t just providing oil they were also making weapons for the FRELIMO - which is the group essentially fighting for Mozambique to gain their independence ) though they still have money invested in the country and her father will go back from time to time, he didn’t think it was safe to raise their family there 

so growing up she went to school in the netherlands and spent a lot of time traveling with her family, her mother would take her on trips to new places every time she came back with good grades on her report card and that’s where she says her love of travel started. 

however the two bonded over more than just travel her mother put her in her first pageant when she was only 6 months old and until she was 19 she was competing. she loved the competition of pageants and really enjoyed getting to try new skills, learn new routines and meeting all of the girls, she even wound up competing in the mrs universe pageant where she was second runner up 

as soon as she finished the pageant her mother was talking about next year and tbh bia just lost it, she’d been trying to explain to her mom that she wanted to take a break from the pageant world but it was her mom’s dream to be mrs. world but she never made it quite that far and all she wanted was for bia to finish the job but it was driving her lk crazy so she quit doing pageants and decided to take her trust fund and dip 

she spent a year in paris, designing clothing, hanging out with the locals and taking very aesthetically pleasing instagram photos which very quickly grew her a following. people kept asking her if she’d ever make a youtube and the idea of it wasn’t that far off, she loved going live and hanging out with her instagram followers and youtube just felt like an extension of that 

tbh the only reason she made her first video though was because of a bet, her cousin bet her 10k that she couldn’t get 2k subs in less than a month. being the competitive lil bean she is, she took that bet and by the end of her first month on the platform had 10k 

as much as she enjoys making videos, part of her is a little thrown off by the whole thing because it’s people who are obsessed with how she looks who assume that she’s just an air headed pageant girl

it took a lil bit of time to finally post this with the holidays and all but here it finally is!  keep in mind this may contain spoilers also I don’t really care about “Trigger Warnings” but there might be some stuff in here that might “Trigger” some ppl  so consider yourself warned lol Also all the in theater collectables we got can be seen here https://naughtygirl286.tumblr.com/post/190115521730/yes-they-had-tons-of-stuff-at-the-theater-for We did god see Star Wars:Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker I was excited to see this as I am with all Star Wars things I love it and enjoy it and I have enjoyed this "Sequel Trilogy"   and thought that things were well done sure there were a few things that weren't the best but nothing is perfect and you have to take the good with the bad. Now when we went to see this we went to see it the afternoon of Christmas Eve (and then again after Christmas with my family and visiting relatives) Now when we went Xmas Eve it the pretty much the only time we could go before Christmas (cutting it close I know) and there wasn't alot of ppl there for that showing but I was there for Friday opening night being where I work was hosting a "Fan Event" at the theater so I had to go down and the place was packed and it was pretty much a sold out weekend!  Now of course there was a ton of collectables and merch for this and you can read about it and see what I bought in the link above Now as for the movie itself I thought it was great I enjoyed it alot. Some time has passed I don't know how much but I would say maybe a year or so since the events of the last movie maybe more? The Rebels are rebuilding and planing there next attack against the First Order when out of the past the long though dead Emperor Palpatine returns to in act his "Final Order" that will end the rebellion once and for all and the dark side will reign forever that is if now Jedi Master Rey doesn't stop him but Rey's past seems to be catching up with her and could impact her life leading her down a path to the Dark Side. Now I know some might greatly disagree but I actually though it was pretty good, I enjoyed it. I felt it was very fast paced and exciting. I don't feel that there was any slow scenes or anything that dragged on it was like they were going places and doing things and fighting here and discovering about something over there. That is one thing I always like about Star Wars I always felt it was more open and more adventurous and more action then say Star Trek I have always felt Trek was more confined and more stiff and analytical then Star Wars so I did like this one being there was alot of movement and alot to see!   there are plenty of references to the previous movies and some great cameos especially that of Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian which I though was awesome and loved seeing him return for this Now I thought the way they handled Leia's death due to the passing of Carrie Fisher was done extremely well and she received a fitting yet sad send off in the movie I felt it was very respectful As for the return of the Palpatine that didn't bother me at all and I didn't have any problems with it. I mean we did see Darth Maul get cut in half and falls down a shaft at the end of The Phantom Menace only to return and become one of the main villains in the Clone Wars TV show Palpatine even said it himself "The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural."   so that was good enough for me he used the force to keep himself alive that is how I seen it so I didn't need any explanation for his return. but there is one thing that did bother me is his use of "Force Lighting" and how easily it is blocked by a simple Lightsaber?? I mean he is taking down the rebel ships with it but it is no match for a lightsaber blade? also why is he using both hands? he could use one hand to focus on the lightsaber and then use his other hand to zap Ray's legs? she was holding the lightsabers up about neck high leaving her whole stomach and legs exposed he could have zapped her body while she was walking towards him? thats what I would have done Now on to the continuing controversy of everyone's favorite Rebel Kelly Marie Tran's Rose Tico personally I'm pretty much indifferent about the character but she does invoke alot of emotion in alot of ppl I heard ppl say that the movie was racist becasue she was not the main focus. I head ppl complain about how little screen time she had and that she should have been one of the main characters second only to Daisy Ridley's Rey. Others claimed that it has something to do with "misogynistic man-babies" getting their way (the same thing they are saying about the New Ghostbusters) Alot of ppl seem to think the character and Kelly Marie Tran herself was disrespected becasue of this lack of being front and center of this movie. now like I said I'm pretty much indifferent about the character and I have nothing against Kelly Marie Tran she seems like she is a good actress Also I feel like Rose is in the movie quite a bit but at the same time ppl have to realize this is not the Rose Tico movie, its not Rose Tico: A Star Wars Story and its not Star Wars:Episode IX - The Rise of Rose Tico this movie and story is bigger then her and they are not going to wrap it around a supporting character who was just introduced in the previous movie.   now that is just my opinion on it I do like meeting and seeing new characters and not everyone is going to like the same ones  One thing that disappointed me is that the "Sith Troopers" weren't seen alot I thought they would be more prominent in this the why they were advertised. Another thing is we don't get to see alot of "Dark Rey" I would have like to have seen more of her. I do hope she get a Black series figure tho lol As for Ray and her I guess we can say lineage.. one thing I liked about Rey in the The Last Jedi is that it was reviled that she was a "Nobody" her parents were nobody of importance "Kylo Ren: They were filthy junk traders. Sold you off for drinking money. They're dead in a pauper's grave in the Jakku desert. You come from nothing. You're nothing." I liked that I thought it was better then having her be related to one of the other characters everyone wanted her to be   Luke's daughter or Obi-Wan's Grand Daughter or Han Solo's Daughter I felt that if she was one of those things it would ruin her character cause she would no longer be her own character but be just Luke's Daughter. Now unfortunately that didn't hold up in this where she is now linked to one of the previous characters thankfully its not Luke or Han or anything one like that but in fact Rey is the granddaughter of Palpatine. Now for some reason I do feel like I can accept this more and do like it probably becasue it is not one of the ones listed above and it came more as a surprise and it came off as being interesting in the way they did it and presented it and after finding out this some of the things from the previous movies makes more sense now.   and it does kinda make her a bit more intresting at least it does to me I did like a couple of new characters they introduced like Zorii Bliss I liked her look alot I feel she does have a small lil part and would have maybe liked to see a bit more of them I also liked the lil creature Babu Frik I thought they were kinda cute and funny and did get a couple of giggles from them Also we finally get to see the Knights of Ren in action which I was a bit excited about Also Poe lives up to his potential and becomes the person and leader Leia knew he could be I thought the visual effects were amazing which is no surprise being it is Star Wars I do feel that there was some heart felt moments as well as some humorous ones too I did think the lightsaber fighters were really interesting and it was cool kinda watching the conflicting styles where Ray was more aggressive and Kylo had a bit more finesse I did feel that this movie as well as the series did have a bit of finality to it. The "Skywalker Saga" is over. The original characters have passed on/now apart of the Force. The Galaxy is once again at peace. Rey finally finds her place and there is a new person to carry on the Skywalker name. the series ends technically where it all began on the sands of Tatooine In the end I'd say I enjoyed the movie I thought it was pretty good I'd have to say I enjoyed this whole "Sequel Trilogy" I know some will fight you to the death becasue they disagree about this and say how much they hate it and want you to hate it too but I can't say I did and I'm not going to say I hate something when I didn't but that is what I thought of stuff take it or leave it. cause I'm not going to argue about it.

Season 7 is coming to an end and I have a few thoughts about it.

Gane of thrones is a great show no doubt about it, but there are certain things that have happened in past two seasons that have kinda annoyed me.

*Spoiler* warning even though, I don’t really think it includes spoilers (you never know ;))

1. Rhaegar Targaryen, Lyanna Stark and Elia Martell.

Alright, this is a big one. Lemme get this straight.

PEOPLE NEED TO STOP ROMANTICISING RHAEGAR AND LYANNA.

Rhaegar Targaryen was a nut job. He wanted three heads of a dragon so since his wife could no longer give birth, he smoothly kidnapped a younger girl. Not only did he marry her he practically disowned his children.(when a marriage is annulled, the children become bastards) HIS OWN DAMN CHILDREN. Like Lyanna is oh so high and might as well right?

I used to really like Lyanna maybe because in the books she was compared to Arya, but had she been like Arya, she wouldn’t have allowed it. The Starks have honour, Lyanna didn’t. But I can’t really blame her, when a prince promises you the world at such an young age. You can’t help it. (Yes. Lyanna was sixteen)

And as of Elia Martell, I love her charecter. She deserved so much better. I was hoping she’d find someone else as well. It would have made more sense.

2. Dorne

Let’s admit it, when Oberyn made an appearance in season 4 he was the best and made Dorne seem like a perfect place. And if you look into it, Dorne is actually a pretty cool place to be. They are witty, diverse(salty, stony and sandy dornishmen) and open-minded and they know how to have fun (wink wink) while they also have one of the best warriors.

But through out the series (books+shows) Dorne has become Westros’ official punching bag. In the show, house Martell is practically extinct and other dornish houses are okay with it?!

Major Charecters of Dorne namely Oberyn, Elia, Arthur, Ashara have been through shit and have all died a very sad death.

And also the storyline of Dorne. What the fuck were the writers thinking. Not only did they turn Dorne into a shitty place, they completely removed charecters like Arianne and ruined the development arc of Jaime and Bronn along the way It should be -

Also what about Ellaria? Is she dead? what happens to Dorne next?

3. The Incest.

Incest is wrong. Period.

And GRRM proved it clearly. It was incest that caused the War of Five Kings, had Jaime and Cersei not been caught doing the deed. None of this shit would’ve gone down. Had Jaime and Cersei not banged, Jon Arryn would still be alive and this shithead Joffery wouldn’t have been born.

Similar with the Targaryens, it is obvious that it was the incestuous interbreeding that had caused them to become mad Aerys and Viserys. Rhaegar in my opinion was a mad man as well, he wasn’t hyper but he was obsessed with prophecies that would eventually lead to madness later in his life if he’d survived.

So now that we have this cleared.

GoT was never about “romance” it was about power play, manipulation and complex relationships between conflicted characters. And now I feel like the show runners are trying to shove down JonxDany down our throats. I always knew that when Jon and Dany would meet they would have a connection.

A platonic one. Which would make them respect each other and acknowledge the hardships they have been through. But no they got to fall in love, have sex on a boat and make magic babies yay!

No. It’s not supposed to be like that. It’s to obvious and too cliché. Jon and Dany have clashing personalities, even if they got together they wouldn’t last.

For jaime and cersei, it was always cersei who had been dominant and manipulative while Jaime had been the psychologically submissive one. That’s why it worked. But I don’t support them either and I will never support Jon and Dany, yet it may be an honest mistake since they don’t know about their ties as a family. But. That should be the show runner’s responsibility, on how they should write the characters.

3. The Lannisters

Jaime has always been my favourite character, so I had to express my concerns related to him.

WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO HIS REDEMPTION ARC?!

Why is he still with his sister, why hasn’t someone knocked sense into him, geez. Now, Tyrion Lannister. This guy seriously needs to standup against the shit that Dany is doing. Yeah don’t give me that ‘but it’s war’ crap. Ik that it’s war, but killing people just so that they accept u as your queen is just dumb. Like Tywin Lannister had said, the person who constantly establishes the fact that they are king/queen aren’t actually true rulers. And what’s with that reunion scene with him and Jaime. It was so bad, where was the angst! I mean they were so close. Oh right. Developed family relationships are not relevant anymore! Let’s add some more of that JonxDany instead. Let’s get the fangirls alll riled up. Cersei Lannister. She’s mad. Yes she’s as mad as Dany. Yes she is way more cruel. But both of them are ‘mad’ for the throne and to rise above others to rule them. Both of them have different ways of execution but their goal is the same. The pregnancy was unnecessary. And I bet she’s not going to have the baby. I have nothing else to say about Cersei. She and Qyburn make the evilest pair in westeros.

4. Azor Ahai

The prince who was promised, saviour of the realm yada yada yada. The story of Azor Ahai is pretty interesting and it is something I really want to see on the show, but at the rate at which they are shoving Jon and Dany heroism down our throats, I feel like the Azor Ahai is going to be either one of them(and if it’s not then I’ll be the happiest person in this world) because fan service has become a thing.

5. Please don’t make everyone a friggin Targaryen

Please. Just. No Two targs is all I can handle. With the theory of Tyrion being a Targaryen, it’s really annoying me. What’s so special about being a Targaryen? I hope Tyrion remains a Lannister as probably both Jaime and Cersei will die and I don’t want that house to go extinct. Tbh. I was disappointed when I got to know that Jon is a Targaryen. I was hoping that maybe just maybe he was Ashara’s kid and that’s why he’d been soo good at swordfighting but nuuuuu *insert valley girl voice* Targaryens super cool you know so we’re gonna make him one as well hahahaha.

6. Brandon Stark WTF man

Remember Bran Stark that cute kid who was pushed out of a tower by this evil blonde knight. Well it seems like he’s become a COMPLETE JERK I was so disappointed with this conversations with Meera (whom I love. Yes, I go gay for her). I mean Meera deserved so much more than that damn thank you, ugh!

7. Sansa

So this was my rant. I have been holding back for SOOO long now here it is. Every character is well written. No hate on any of them (except you, Mary Sue, Daenerys Targaryen)

35. Opinion on the soundtrack of the Ace Attorney-franchise?

ive always deeply loved aa’s soundtrack.. in some games some songs shined more than others.. for example imo first game had the best trial ost while JFA shined with reminiscences. even if some songs werent that great, aa def has much more more memorable and good soundtracks and they fit characters and atmosphere so well aaaaaaaaaaaa when will wandering heart stop making me feel emo every damn time i hear it also i really love orchestra and jazz versions.. theyre so great
