Guys, guys, I have a theory, certainly is a bit (a bit???) of a stretch, but we're here to have fun, so here's my "bat"shitcrazy (no pun intended haha) take on the matter. TG will laugh with me, TB probably curse me, but oh well.

Careful, for the comment is long and full of spoilers. I haven't read the books, so my comment relies mostly on what I could find on wiki and some discussion topics I found on reddit when I was unsure of an info.

A mutual shared with us a theory of hers about the possibility of Aemond and Alys being linked to the origins of House Whent, aka, Catelyn's mother House. I was curious so I watched it and let me tell you: last time I was this invested in researching something I was in my teenage years investigating all the refs in Saint Seiya.

So, I share with you the comment I made (with some more info I remembered at the last minute here) haha!

1-What do we know about Alys's ancestry: Alys is a Strong bastard, House Strong is said to exist since the Age of Heroes among other houses like Stark, Gardener, or Blackwood. Stark is known for their link to direwolves, House Gardener's patriarch was said to make land flourish, so I see high potential for special genes in House Strong as well, despite not knowing about any memorable Strong of this period.

2-The dance of the dragons: the Dance happens between 129 - 131 AC. Aemond dies in 130, but we do not know what happens to Alys after she claims, in 132, that the child she presents to the new government is Aemond's son. After all, Winter Fever strikes Westeros in that same year brought by, apparently, foreigners of Ib. We don't know what happened to them, but considering the stories about "the witch queen of Harrenhal" I don't doubt they've survived, magic people seem to be more difficult to get sick I think. Melisandre is there to prove it after all, not even cold or poison destroy this woman! haha

3-Info about House Whent: first I traced back its origin to see what I could find. House Whent of Harrenhal was born from a hedge knight in 233 AC who was given the castle by Maekar I, as prize for his help. The castle at that time belonged to House Lothston of Harrenhal. House Lothston exists as 'family name' since the time of Maegor I with Guy Lothston, but the title of the House as Lords of Harrenhal was given after the Dance, in 151, when Master-of-Arms Ser Lucas Lothston was ordered to marry Aegon IV's first mistress, Falena Stokeworth to remove her from Court. Aegon IV has consistently visited Harrenhal to see his mistresses: Falena and her daughter Jeyne Lothston (some people even think she's another bastard of Aegon passed off as Lothston). These meetings might have resulted in many bastards, with a new injection of special genes (and mad genes as well caused by !ncest, in Jeyne's case) but we have no info about children from any of these women after they are expelled from the Court because of pox acquired from Aegon IV.

4-More info about Lothston: In terms of Lothstons's future generations, we have Manfred Lothston who was part of the first Blackfyre rebellion and said to have betrayed Daemon Blackfyre. Then, Mad Danelle Lothston who answered Bloodraven's call to smash the second Blackfyre rebelion. However, the rumors of Mad Danelle making use of dark arts were spreading like wildfire and disturbing the peace in Westeros, which made King Maekar I take action and cause her downfall in 233 AC, in this fight, the Whent hedge knight rebels against Lothston and he's named the new Lord of Harrenhal. Important to note that on wiki they don't give the exact year of House Whent's founding year, because Martin apparently didn't tell it. Curious, very curious.

5-Whent and Lothston sigils: It's also curious, though, that House Whent's kept some elements of Lothston sigil: House Lothston was a huge bat upon a field of silver and gold. House Whent is 7 bats upon a golden field. If they're different houses, why the similarities? House Karstark for example, is a branch of House Stark and their sigil is different. The extinct House Greystark though, was the same sigil of House Stark, the colors being the only difference. What I'm trying to say is that House Whent could have picked something totally different from the previous House because they were nothing to each other, right? But they kept some things. Why? I imagine both houses were connected either by friendship or blood. But thinking better now, I believe blood is the most plausible answer, we all know that power or lands corrupt people and in Westeros this kind of thing is most likely to happen. Let's remember that the only Lothston alive was a single woman who was known for fiercely riding into battle with a black armor and we are not told about Danelle interested in marriage or something, she wasn't ladylike apparently, but was considered a vampire and we know that rumors and gossip are common weapon to try to sabotage women of power who were single. The fact that Maekar I named Whent the new lord of the place instead of, idk, any other house of the riverlands makes me think that this happens precisely because as secondary branch of the Lothston, the Whent hedge knight was chosen and rewarded for being loyal to the realm instead of joining forces with Lothston.

6-So, to wrap things up: We know that House Lothston already existed before Aemond, but considering we have zero info about Jeyne Lothston's or even Falena's descendants, now I imagine it's possible that Alys bastard child (or her grandchild, or her great-grandchild or whatever) was paired up with some unknown descendant of Jeyne Lothston or Falena Lothston, originating the Whents as a branch of Lothston.

If Alysmond descendant marries a Falena's descendant, nothing unusual here. But if Alysmond descendant marries a Jeyne's descendant, it would essentialy means the union between the greens and the blacks (if the rumors of Jeyne being actually another Aegon IV's daughter are to be trusted).

Do I believe it? Well... It's not impossible, imho. We all know how Martin loves to create intricate plots and family trees, it matches his gardener style of writing. The more complicated, the more likely is for Martin to come up with something like this, even more considering that we were never given a definitive founding year for House Whent. Like vampires, you are never sure how old is House Whent.

The info has a vital role, it's so important that Martin opted to let the info vague so he could have space to work better on the idea, he's a gardener yeah, but not everything he hints it's a seed, there's also foreshadowing and I guess that's the case with the link Whent-Lothston and alysmond. Let's remember that Cat, a POV character, was half Whent, so it has to be something important, if not for her character, for others like Littlefinger and Sansa.

And now talking about the TV show: who are the ones who end up monarchs in the end? Cat's descendants, Bran and Sansa! lol I know D&D ruined the show in many aspects, but I admit I laugh so much thinking about it now, the guys simplified everything in the most trashy way possible and even so, we were able to come up with a theory to fix their mess haha That's why Sansa didn't like Daenerys: Aemond genes were warning her about Rhaenyra's descendant lmao

If we think about it now:

-Rhaenyra's descendant does not survive;

-2 alysmond descendants become monarchs;

-1 alysmond descendant robbed Rhaenyra's descendants of their azor ahai role thanks to D&D; Woah thanks a lot Hess and Condal, you've tried to tone down Rhaenyra's ambition, by creating this Aegon prophecy thing, but in the end it meant nothing.

-the only dragon alive (that despite Condall and Hess fanservice we all know it was a dreamfyre egg) is actually a green dragon;

-and the last targaryen of Rhaenyra's bloodline is a Snow that will never rise against his siblings.

Woah... we have a lot to learn from the patient old men of Oldtown in terms of "fight a war without saying you're fighting a war".

Anyway, thanks Jessie Bear for the theory that sparked my interest for this madness, I went full obsessed mode this afternoon because of that and it was so much fun! XD

I*Chu review

*tsundere voice* I’m just here for colorful boys, not the idols, baka. 

No but in all honesty, I am trying to fill the gap that Idolish7 has filled. I only briefly glanced at the seiyuu list before going in, so it wasn’t like I did it for them. (Seeing the familiar favs is a reason to start though.)

Anyway from the get go, the biggest problem is, TOO MANY DAMN BOYS. That’s the problem with these series where theyre based on mobile games where they can sell as many units as possible but if you want a neat concise story of 12 episodes, I think you should make some sacrifices and cut some screen time.

So if you want the story to be focused around Fire Fenix, I think you can definitely cut Ars, Re:Berserk and the damn twins. Already that’s 11 boys less, out of the 29 that’s appeared. (I’m not going to count Alchemist, they only showed up for a few seconds in the last ep.) Yeah like, RIP to the fans that wanted to see them, but you either have to appeal to the audience that hasn’t played the game, or only appeal to the ones that have. Lancelot isn’t that huge in FF’s development but I think some interaction with Tenjou Tenge is nice. 

With the amount of boys, one of the only ways I can distinguish from the lot is by seiyuu first, and then their gimmicks. If you picked them out of the groups though, I probably would not be able to tell who they were. (Leon in IB vs Tora in ArS vs Ban in ReB, Raku in Ars vs Rabi in IB). 

I say cut them, but they really could just reduce their screen time, or just have them as easter eggs for the fans that do know who they are, and not have them be in all the episodes. (Like in Heroine, if you do know the other HoneyWorks charas, good for you, if you don’t then theyre just minor charas.) The beach episode could have been fun but it was a little too much at times. (A little like StarMyu S2 and 3, way too many boys they want to keep relevant despite their story being done.)

It’s wrong to compare any idol anime to Idolish7 because I7 is more about the character drama versus every other idol anime where they work hard to do their thing. I find that I actually don’t care about any of that at all XD;;; From things like Show By Rock (less about idols but still about music performances), Heroine Tarumono, UniteUp, Eternal Boys, and the few episodes of IM@s Side M, I find that I don’t think I need to see the performances, and I don’t care about their struggle to getting famous? (Selling CDs, pleasing fans, etc.) 

As for the characters, I did want to like Seiya, as my KENN bias is huge. Seiya is okay though. I think I enjoy Akira a bit more, his episode was super cute and probably the first time I laughed a lot for the show. I wanted a little more from Kanata too, though his problems seemed to have been resolved pretty early by Seiya. (A little bias towards him too because his seiyuu voiced Kota in KonoOto, the cute one!!!) Seiya’s slump by Tsubaki’s words was something I thought I would have liked but I guess I’ve seen it enough that it didn’t touch me as much as it could have. I love seeing a genki boy in shambles, but it didn’t really do it for me somehow. 

I like Noah a lot, even though he didn’t really do much. I guess the noble rival role isn’t a big thing for me but seeing that he was childhood friends with Seiya was the seller. They didn’t go too deep into that unfortunately, but from the few scenes that we were given, how he tried to cheer Seiya up in his slump, I liked that. Which is unfortunate because the rest of IB doesn’t really interact outside of the group. (Minus the Lucas and Issei ep.) 

I also really like Kokoro! Now before you ask why I like him but hate Kujo Tenn, I do have an Ayu bias, and Kujo Tenn isn’t kawaii as fuck. XD;;; Kujo Tenn is a little too intense for me, in the way that he serves the fans. Kokoro is dedicated, but you see him get down. Him walking 5 thousand miles to make it to his event and almost losing it when the melon pan got ran over, I was sold. I liked his little “I don’t need anyone else on stage” but has friends outside, but I think they could have taken a little more time to develop on that. We do see Momo and Runa early enough but they joined PopnStar so suddenly. Like do they even have singing/idol experience?

I think The Twins are a waste of space. We could have had the beach episode without them lol. Okay but also, I think they could have rewritten the beach episode. Have them play up the horror factor more. Instead of seeing the captured boys be told by Kuma to prank them, have us focus on the group that doesn’t know and then drop hints here and there that the scary things we see are actually not dangerous. Runa walking around calmly can stay. You could still have the touching twins scene at the end with Mutsuki knowing that it was Satsuki, surprising both the group and the audience. 

What I do like about the amount of boys is the cross interactions. (ChaoYang and Akio) Aside from just the leaders interacting (Seiya and Noah, Seiya and Kokoro), my favorite cross unit interaction is Kanata and Momo, soooo cute!!! I did say to cut Ars because I don’t think they really contributed too much in the entire story, but I guess giving Akira some drinking buddies was fun. 

Okay so, I still wasn’t sure what an IChu is, but apparently it's the term for “an idol egg”, so they’re not really full blown idols yet, and that’s why they're at school? Or something? So I see that IChu is actually a game about raising Idols AND dating them? I mean, I’m glad the anime just went with the raising them part, I didn’t know what the series was about so I thought they were just going to school, I didn’t know some of them were of drinking age. That throwing me off is always funny. (My first impression of the I7 boys vs the UtaPri boys is always hilarious.)

It’s unfair of me to want to expect something different from a series that is played straight up. Not me projecting Monokuma on Principal Kuma Kocho (the subs said it, not me) and actually expecting the series to take a dark turn. XD;;;; There was one scene of Producer CV Megumi Toyoguchi and Kuma Kocho in the office while ominous music played and I was like, this is it, the killing game is starting. XD;;;;

I liked that Tenjou Tenge won the right to sound carnival, and I did expect them to bring the rest of the group there but I didn’t like the way it was done. (The audience was screaming for an encore for almost 20 minutes, how can you leave them waiting while youre having a grand speech backstage and wait for 20+ boys to get dressed to perform.) I really liked the final performance outfits though, but I still can’t stand the number of boys present. It wasn’t like the end of UniteUp where it felt like the group performance was earned. Also because it was a new song and not the opening song, which I thought they were going to do. 

Idolish7 has conditioned me into not expecting the full performances, so when I am seeing a large part of the performance, I feel like it’s not necessary. ^^;;; It’s not IChu’s fault, because before I7, I would have expected to see the song and dance. Maybe because IChu’s song variety is not that wide, as everyone only has the one song, so it does get a little stale by the third or fourth time. Or perhaps only show when the performances are relevant. Like in Bakuten (not idol but), where you see the boys practice from time to time but you don’t see the full performance until they do it for the competition, so it feels more important. Even Eternal Boys had small performance times unless it’s relevant.

I don’t hate song and dance, but sometimes it’s like, do we need to see this, does it add to the story? (I guess it’s more immersive?) Kokoro’s first performance was to show that his resolve was stronger than the newbie IChus, yet when he performed again after his crazy trek across miles, it was the same exact performance and animation. It didn’t feel like it was intense either? They could have changed it a little or not show Kokoro's first performance. Also all their performances for Sound Carnival could have been better performed (?), but it was just the same performances/animation we have already seen. But the fact that they had all 2D dances without resorting to CG models was impressive, so I’ll give them that.

Uhhhhhh, not sure if I have anything else to rant about, but IChu was a nice run, a little forgettable in my mind. I probably won’t be thinking about them after a few weeks unless otherwise. If they do want to make a second season I’ll watch it of course, but it didn’t bring anything new to the table for me. The abundance of popular seiyuu might have saved it, but the anime itself didn’t want to make me play the game, just yearn for a better anime.

I had a really funky dream last night, but I don't remember it. All I remember is waking up a lot, upset, and trying to recall where I was. Bennett was curled up to me most of the night (good spiritie dood ^_^), but I don't think it helped much.... ah, well, it's the thought that counts.

Yesterday, I blew $44 on prismacolor pens. I got the box set of cool greys, plus a replacement 60% warm grey as mine is running out. That's me broke for another month now.

Well, I feel mighty stupid this morning. Yesterday, I kinda pulled a muscle in my left leg (riiight in my calf), but it stopped hurting. Woke up from a funky dream and got up to find it hurt. Now, being the idiot I am and not usually restricted by physical pain (hey, that's what ended up breaking my ankle), I went for a shower. Feeling headachey and cramped, I worked my way down the stairs, only to pull the same muscle again and fall about halfway down and land on the cat at the bottom. ^___^;;; <---- feels very dumb

*falls over* Meagen-san, you had me scared a minute there! If you had MEANT Mark, I would have had to call in paramedics and stuff to make sure you weren't doped up on anything!!!! @_@

Yeaaah, I just went to first period class this morning and got my classes for next year reviewed. Then I came home because the muscles in my abdomen are spasming and it hurts like bugger all.

This morning I spent the whole time trying to get my scanner to work, so thus, no morning blog. But I've got some stuff say for a change!

Today, lunch period was spent bothering Dan for the most part. He really ticked me off yesterday, and I'm extracting my revenge. So, I was making him jealous by glomping Matt at every opportunity (Matt doesn't mind too much, and he's nice to hug 'cause he's always warm.... and no, Mike, he's not my boyfriend! JUST A FRIEND!! T_T). It was rather comical. Civics class was cancelled, since Ms. Fotinos was at the Raptor's game with the people who signed up to go... the half of my class that was at school for the last three periods of the day got transferred to a Grade 12 geography class, in which was SO awkward that the teacher took pity on us and sent us all home. Redoing Angel Hunter again. This time, on the right sized paper... I'm sticking with the page layouts, tho, as I think I've got the look I want.

....yep, for the first time in YEARS, I'm the proud owner of twp pairs of blue jeans. I've not worn blue jeans since I was about 5... and these ones fit niiiiice. I have hips and a waist.... @__@

Anyway, mom and I went to Sears and then to Curry's Art Supplies. I got my two pairs of jeans, two men's dress shirts (one white, one black), a new sketchbook, 4 new warm grey prismacolors, and a new 05 pigment pen. I am a happy Meg-chan!

( 9:09 PM )   I have officially started rewriting the Chronicles of Benjamin Carter! WHIHAI! Here's a bit of what I've written so far.

Frail. Benjamin was frail. He was about 5'4, fifteen years of age, and pale. He was small and slight in build; a boy and not yet a man. Right now, he looked more fragile than he really was... curled up under the blankets of his rather small bed, bruised and crying. It was a familiar scene.

Benjamin wiped at his eyes with the back of his hand in a vain attempt to push the tears away. However, it was pointless since more just spilled down his cheeks as if to spite him and his efforts to stop them. He hated crying. Hated it. But at times like this --- only at times like this--- he couldn't help himself. He was so tired of being forced into the clutches of rich men; predators that liked their pleasure taken out on the young boys who could be bought if the price was right. He was sick of the violation and the abuse. Most of all, he was sick of his father pushing him into it. His own father. He hiccupped in his efforts to restrain his tears.

Benjamin wanted more than anything to run away. Run away to another city, another country, anywhere but where he was. Just out of the clutches of the people who hurt him so much. But he was trapped like the birds his father kept in the iron cages that lined the back yard. He was a prisoner, shackled to the bars of his perpetual cage. Derkshaw would catch him if he ran. Derkshaw always caught him.

"Damn him to hell," Benjamin thought bitterly, though he regretted thinking it for reasons he couldn't quite explain.

There was a tap of boots in the hallway, and Benjamin closed his eyes, breathed deeply, and pretended to be asleep. The heavy, even steps stopped outside his door. The door squeaked as it opened slightly.

Benjamin tried to keep his breathing slow and deep, tried not to flinch. He felt Derkshaw's gaze on him. It burned.

'Go away, papa, go away....'

The door opened a bit more, and the tap of boots carried into the room.

It would be a good half hour before Derkshaw left, the blood on his hands and shirt not his own.

I have the best best friends in the whole world! My best friends are Speller and Amy!

Speller, who I know I don't mention on here too much (I'm sorry! ;_;), is the smartest person I know. She's also one of the most talented writers, too. How many people can write a whole novel before/during high school? Aside from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, not many. And her poetry kicks ass! She has a lot of it published. She can also draw better realistic stuff than I can, which makes me mondo jealous. It's not fair, I tell you! And she must learn to watch out for Hannibal. Beware him. Speller likes pudding. And pears. Damn those pears.

Amy and I have been friends since 7th grade, when she was the "new kid". We actually first met in drama class. She ran over a possum on her way to work. Yeeeah! She, too, is an amazing writer. It's not FAIR! She came runner up in the story writing contest a while back. I was proud. And I SCREEEEEEAMED the loudest when she won the Todd Bayless award. I live to embarrass.... ^_~

I am grateful to have such good friends. I love them. This concludes the sap. ^___^;

I watched Perfect Blue last night. It downright scared me! Seeing Hannibal didn't scare me, seeing the Rage; Carrie 2 didn't scare me.... but Perfect Blue DID. The "real Mima" (the one who's forever in the Cham costume) is SCARY!!! And the Mimaniac is pretty scary too. o_O Iffen you haven't seen this movie, get it. Especially if you like stuff like Neon Genesis Evangelion, X, or Serial Experiments Lain. I warn you, there's nudity, a rape scene, and a lot of gore. This movie freaked me out more than Eva did.

In other news... going to the art store tomorrow!!! And, I'm also skipping 5th period today. Maybe even 3rd, 'cause I'm stuck doing NOTHING all class anyway. -_-;

Hopefully they have the 10x15 paper I want... 'cause, you know, that being the traditional dimensions for comic drawing. Y'all knew that, right? *gives you a loooooook*

Last night, began a really angsty RP with Cam and Mark (well, it was angsty on Cam's end). Now, I only just realized that I think up really weird stuff that follow pretty much all the major time/space/reality laws. And all on a whim and at random. It's strange. You know you study this stuff too much when.... Yep, it's not every day when I come up with plots like that puppy. Using the imprints left in the reality weave to reconstruct a Mark.... that's some strange stuff (but it actually makes sense, which is what throws me). Huh.

I feel guilty... I got mad at Amy last night. She was being a little more depressing than usual, and I just couldn't stand it. I'm sick and stressed and I don't need to boost her ego all the time.

I've had this urge for the past couple of days to draw Cam shaking Lucas by the shoulders and looking very upset while Lucas looks blank. I don't really know why.... the caption for it has been running through my head, as it is this: "What am I to you?!" Trippiness.

Well, being the idiot I am, I didn't do my civics homework. My group is gonna love me for that.... then again, they're sticking me with the job of reading the presentation on Spain because I'm the only one that knows how to speak some Spanish. *sweatdrops*

I'm having urges to draw the weirdest things.... I hate it when Cam angsts at me from his little spot in my mind.

I've been doing a lot of drawing since I got those pens. It's scary... can't wait to get more! ^__^ I also gotta get me some 10 X 15 paper, 'cause that's the standard comic size. I don't feel up to fighting with printers because the size ratio on 8.5 X 11 is uneven. Screw it. I'll just redo it all on standards.

I'm having the straaangest breakfast. Pork chops. Don't ask me, it was the only thing I could find...

So, what we're gonna do, is I'm gonna drag her to Curry's Art Supplies store in a few hours and see how much THEY'RE selling them for.... maybe she'll buckle and take me back to the Office Place. ^_~

Tomorrow is gonna be a very busy day. I'm going into town with my mom and brother for most of the day, then it's home for a few hours (like, two), and to the mall where I shall meet with Quinn-chan and Chris to go for our ritual Riot Ink business meeting. Then I shall return from the depths of Quinn's anime/transformers shrine of a home and return to my humble lair around midnight. Then I'll prolly talk to my baaaaybeeeeee (aka: querida) for the remainder of the dark hours of the evening.

I got slim to no sleep last night due to sickness. Man, do I hurt... I feel like my guts are being put into a dryer's spin cycle constantly. And after drinking 3 L of cranberry juice, I'm not too good right now. I'm kinda waiting for mom to call so I can ask her what to do... I dunno if I should stay home or go to school. I bet I'm missing a fair bit. Well, there's always Fiona and Harpreet to ask. ^_^;;

I bet Dan's gonna kill me if I'm off another day. Mike's prolly beaten him up a few times by now without me there.

Mommie bought me the Silence of the Lambs yesterday. It's such a good movie, and all the better if you've read the book. The casting for the movie is very good, too... Jodie Foster makes such a cute Clarice Starling. It really pisses me off that Julianne Moore is playing Clarice in Hannibal (which comes out tomorrow, check your local listings ^_~). She is SO not Starling material. But as long as Sir Anthony Hopkins is still good ol' Hannibal Lecter the Cannibal, I'll watch it.

The layouts for pages 1-4 of AH have been redone. This is version 15... and I'm LIKING it! FINALLY!

Heeey, imouto! Mercutio was the best kyara in that play. I also liked Benvolio, he was cool too (my once-best-friend Brittany took to calling me 'Volio 'cause I liked him so much). Mercutio, tho, had one hell of an attitude, and he was interesting and VERY funny. Too bad he had to die... I'm glad you liked the little snippet. Allow me to post another, just for you! ^__^ This is another bit I quite like.

Benjamin found it facinating to watch him, he was so calm and so... well, he was the very picture of freedom as far as he was concerned. Yes, that was it. Benjamin admired Lokistrant's blasé attitude towards life. Envy, almost.

When one night, Lokistrant was late on his ritual visits to the plantation, Benjamin worried. Could he have been hurt?.... no. This was Lokistrant. He didn't GET hurt. But maybe he just didn't want to see him anymore?

Abandonment. A reoccurring issue. His throat felt dry suddenly. He curled up on his bed, blond hair over his eyes, and wished for morning, when he KNEW that Lokistrant would not come. No second guessing when daylight was involved.

Minutes passed. And quite unexpectedly, Lokistrant was there, startling the boy. Leaning against the far wall, watching quietly, decked out in his usual dark reds and silvers. Benjamin sat up. "How long have you been there? You scared me!"

Lokistrant smiled his usual enigmatic smile, the impression of fangs something no longer unexpected. "Carter, deepest apologies for being so late." The smile was kind, but the voice was final, the tone stating that there was to be no questions asked. Lokistrant held out his hand to the boy. "Care to come with me into town for a while?"

Oh! I saw Cast Away over the weekend! It's SO good! Tom Hanks is a surprisingly good actor... I mean, who else can get away with talking to a volleyball so convincingly? And we all know that Amy likes to imagine him naked (Tom, not the volleyball). You should all go see it! NOW!!!! That's an order!

Benjamin stared across the table at the stranger, worried. The man seemed in his twenties, if that, and had long brown hair that spilled over his shoulders and down his back. His eyes were an unnatural ruby red, and they were very intelligent eyes. Benjamin had learned early in life to be cautious, especially with the smarter ones.

The man crossed his hands on the table in front of him, casual. "Benjamin Carter, correct?"

Benjamin could dect a vague, though unrecognizable, accent. "Yes sir."

"You're fifteen?"

"Yes sir."

"Such a shame to see someone so young forced into... what you're familiar with."

Benjamin sunk down in his chair. "Why are you here? Why did you pull me away from papa?"

To match Benjamin's withdraw from the table, the man leaned forward, and smiled. Benjamin could have sworn he saw fangs. "You remind me of someone."

Carter's got some serious problems, and he's fun to write because he's so screwed up. He's got a really weird past. His dad was SUCH a jerk.... and up until becoming a vampire, Carter was good little Bennie; never had the nerve to fight his father. *ponders* It's an interesting story. My room is now a nice shrine of large wall hangings. On the walls around my bed, I have three Card Captor Sakura wallscrolls (two anime, one manga), and one kick-ASS Prozzak Saturday People promo poster. Thank you, John. *smilesmilesmile*

On Neopets, I am neopoor. Looks like my pets are gonna be eating at the soup kitchen a lot. -_-;

Meg's Art Corner! I know, I've not done much in the way of art lately. You know what's weird? I tend to draw more in school than at home. I think it's because I'm around so many people. Cam's SD Panther form, doodled in MS Paint. I was bored, okay? And it DID turn out cute. Part of my MS Paint family portrait. I still have to finish the pictures for John and Dani, and the kids too if I have enough willpower after screwing around with the stupid program afterwards.

I have come to the conclusion that Cam would make a really scary bad guy. Like, not c3... but if CAM were bad. He'd be scary. Not to mention, after being killed about 200 times, I think he knows the painful ways to kill people. Wonder if niichan (currently my neechan) sees this? Well, at least now he knows about Cam's possibilities for becoming nothing more than a lethal weapon.

Do any of your ocs watch/read anime/manga? What series would they be into if they do?

hm... yeah, some of them.

xiuying will watch tv or read books sometimes, but she mostly doesn’t like things that involve sitting still. she’d rather be doing physical stuff or going to parties lmao

meiling and lev watch stuff together. they don’t have the same interests, so they take turns choosing. they don’t mind trying out new stuff and they like doing commentary together (although half the time lev’s commentary is “the manga was better”)

alexa likes sports anime, especially eyeshield 21 bc football. since i personally don’t care for sports anime and haven’t watched most of them, i can’t really tell you much about that one.

sandhya isn’t really interested in that stuff, but she’ll watch with alexa sometimes. she usually has no idea what’s going on and has to keep asking what the characters’ names are.

thomas only watches things with his little sister, so he sees stuff like digimon or whatever kids watch these days. he doesn’t know it’s anime, though. he probably would if he paid more attention.

aabir’s a bit weird. he’ll watch things like pokémon one minute and deadman wonderland the next. he tends to watch obscure things just because, though, and his favorite anime is sasameki koto (miyako/tomoe is his otp).

riley saw an episode of sailor moon once as a kid. he thinks. maybe. there was a blonde girl yelling about the moon or something. maybe a cat??? idk

luca watched michiko to hatchin after a friend recommended it to him. he also likes cowboy bebop.
