Mr Right
So, anonymous requested this request. And not gonna lie it was hard to write in so far as making Rafael a dick but otherwise I loved writing adoring Carisi caring for pregnant reader.
Warnings: Swearing, threat of violence, angst

Prompts
You casually walked through the squad room, smiling at your fellow detectives as you made your way to Livâs office. You paused briefly as you saw them all look at each, their smiles not quite convincing. You shrugged before continuing on, thinking that they were just concerned with how you were handling the baby Drew Incident. WhichâŚfair, you probably werenât handling it as well as the others, and Rafael hadnât answered your calls or been at home when you went by his place. The two of you had been dating for around six months and you wanted to check on him and not being able to tell if he was okay was worrying you. You hoped that he had at least talked to Liv which was why you were making a beeline for her office.
âHey, Liv,â you leaned against her doorway rapping your knuckles against the glass.
âY/n,â Liv waved you in, you noticed her smile was forced as well and you could see the strain around her eyes. âCome in. I wasnât expecting you to be in today.â
âOh?â you asked tilting your head as you stepped through, closing the door before taking a seat in-front of her desk. âWhy?â
âI thought maybe you might take some time off or even request a leave of absence,â Liv sounded confused. âMaybe even talk about a transfer once you two had discussed where Rafael was moving to.â
âMoving?â you asked even more confused. âRafael, is moving?â
âHe hasnât told you?â
âWe havenât talked since his trial, he said he needed some time, and I gave that to him but when I tried to call him or go by his place there was no answer,â you could feel your heart speeding up, as a burning sensation built at the back of your throat. âRafael talked to you?â
âYes, he said he had put in his papers and was thinking of leaving,â Livâs voice turned to steel as she put together the pieces you were still missing but were slowly putting together.
âHeâŚheâs leaving, and he didnât even tell me,â your voice quivered as your vision became blurred as your eyes filled with tears. âHeâs left me.â
âI am so sorry,â Oliva stood up and moved around to you. She wrapped her arms around you holding you close to her as you cried. Your chest felt tight as you tried to get your breathing under control, but it was difficult as the buzzing in your head got louder.
âI canât believe he wouldnât even call me,â your voice was soft but measured as the buzzing in your head slowly disappeared. You could feel your body slowly starting to heat, you took in a deep breath before letting it out in a shaky exhale. Anger started to fill your veins, pushing away from Liv you started to pace, your hands running through your hair. âI mean what the fuck?! We were together six months we were even talking about moving in together, getting a place. I-if I ever see him again IâŚIâllâŚfuck!â
âYour anger is understandable,â Liv stood up watching as you paced. âTake the day, more if you need.â
You spun around to face her, your chest heaving as you tried to get control, not wanting lash out at your friend. Just as fast as the rage hit you it was gone as your body sagged as if someone cut your strings. Tears filled your eyes again as you nodded. Livâs eyes softened as she watched you switch emotions so quickly; she couldnât believe Rafael wouldnât even call you. She was going to kill him for hurting you.
âIâll get Carisis to drive you home,â Livâs voice was gentle as she reached for you again. âI donât want you driving like this.â
You just nodded, following her out like a lost puppy. Now you understood the looks the others gave you. They knew. They bloody knew. Great so everyone but you knew that Rafael left you. You braved a look at the others, and was a little surprised. Finn looked murderous; it seems Olivia had enough time to tell them that you had in fact not known that Rafael had left. Amanda looked torn between helping Finn commit a crime and comforting you. Carisi, well, Carisi looked like someone had kicked his dog as he came towards you, his jacket in hand.
âHey,â his hands started reaching for you but aborted their movement before they dropped to his side. You tried to smile at him but you were sure it came off a little more like a grimace. âCome on, letâs get you home.â Once again you followed after one of your friends like a lost little puppy.
--
It had been over a month since you found out that Rafael had left you like the bastard he was. And your sadness had almost completely been replaced by rage. The others had taken to be careful not to mention his name around you. It wasnât that you would start frothing at the mouth in rage but rather you would shut down and that apparently made the others uncomfortable. Well, Carisi got more concerned then uncomfortable. He had started bringing in an insane number of baked goods and would also show up at your place with ingredients to cook dinner.
It was probably the best you had eaten in that month, or well ever apparently. Your favourite pants had gotten a little tight, actually, all of your pants had gotten tight. And that didnât make any sense, because you were throwing up randomly throughout the day, which also tended to coincide with when someone mentioned Rafael. The throwing up just made Carisi even more concerned for you, which had him making you even more food. It was a little vicious cycle. You stared down at your pants that you were currently struggling to do up. You pouted as you tried once again to get the two sides of the pants to come together, your eyes narrowed as they once again did not come close to touching.
âWhat the fuck?â you whispered frowning as tears started to fill up your eyes, chest heaving as a sob crawled up your throat. âGreat now Iâm crying. Again.â
Giving up on your pants you fell back onto your bed allowing the sobs to run their course. You couldnât wait for whatever this was to end. Hopefully, it would be soon. You couldnât take much more of this. It was ridiculous. It was worse than the ups and downs during your cycle. Wait. You bolted up into a sitting position. Your sobs stopping just as quickly as they started.
âNot possible,â you whispered, grabbing your phone and opening your calendar. The date stared at you, like some big massive joke. âNope, nope, nope.â And, yep, there are the sobs again. Flopping back onto the bed you threw the phone to the side, covering your face with both hands you sobbed harder. âMaybe if I ignore this, it will go away.â
Your little session was interrupted by a knock on your front door. Groaning you sat up, glaring down at your jeans before aiming the glare in the direction on your front door. The knock came again, dragging out another groan from you as you forced your body up tugging your shirt down as much as you could to cover your undone pants.
âIâm coming,â you called out as the knock sounded again. âDonât be so god damn impatient.â You yanked open the door, glare firm on your face even as you continued to cry.
âHey-woah, are you okay?â Carisi stood on the other side, the smile freezing on his face as it morphed into a concerned frown.
âDo I look okay?â you demanded turning away from him and walking back towards your kitchen leaving the door open for Carisi to walk through.
âI meanâŚno?â Caris seemed unsure if he should answer that question honestly. You huffed reaching to get a glass, Carisiâs eyes zeroed in on your undone pants and the swell of your stomach. His eyes slowly moved up, taking in any other changes he could see. Only to stop when he caught your eyes, your puffy, wet, red eyes that were currently glaring at him.
âCan I help you?â your voice was cold, almost seething, as you set the glass down and tried to tug your shirt back over your pants again. âI am aware that my pants canât do up at the moment, but that is no reason to look at me with judgy eyes.â You voice broke as the tears started falling again. âAnd fucking hell, can I stop crying for five minutes please?!â
âTrust me I was not looking at you with âjudgyâ eyes,â Carisi promised, arms twitching as he resisted the urge to hug you. âI was concerned. And I think I may know what is going on.â
âOf fuck off, with your knowledge because you have sisters,â you cursed. âI am notâŚI canât beâŚpregnant.â Your voice was so quiet he almost didnât hear you but it broke his heart. You sounded so scared.
âYouâve been throwing up a lot, and your body has changed,â Carisis thought better of using the phrase âgained weightâ, his sister did not appreciate it one bit. âNot to mention how youâre switching between emotions really fast. It might be a good idea to take a test. Just to be sure.â
You looked up at him, all the anger fading from your face as you heard someone else voicing the thoughts that ran through your head once you realised it had been nearly two months since your last period. Shaking your head, you closed the distance between the two of you and fell against his chest. Carisi was always an affectionate person with his friends and right now you needed his hugs and you knew he wasnât going to offer, not after the last time. Where you may have bitten his head off. Which you now at least had a theory as to why you reacted the way you did. Even if you really didnât want to entertain the idea, you knew taking a test would be the smart thing to do.
âCanâŚI mean, will you be here, when I take it?â you asked in a tone so close to broken that Carisi wanted to hunt Rafael down.
âOf course I will,â Carisi soothed, running his hand up and down your back. âIâll go out and get a test. You stay here, want me to maybe also get you some different pants?â
âYes,â you nodded, hiccupping as you refused to let him go. âBut just...stay here for a moment.â
âI wonât leave until you want me to,â Carisi promised, arms holding you tight to him.
âYou promise?â you couldnât help but ask him. You couldnât help but fear that one day everyone you cared about would decide to leave you, with absolutely no warning. âYou wonât leave?â
âNever,â Carisi pressed a kiss to the top of your head, heart finally shattering. It was then that swore to himself that he would do everything in his power to help you believe he wouldnât leave, that there were people in your life who cared about you and would never leave you. It doesnât matter what it will take, or long it will take until you believed him.
--
âYou have to come out of the bathroom eventually,â Carisi called knocking against the door. âItâs been long enough, what does the test say?â
âI think the fact that I am in here having what is most definitely a panic attack should answer that!â you tried to sound angry but the sobbing and fear in your voice did not help.
âA panic-Iâm coming in,â Carisi frowned, opening the door he found you sitting on the floor against the bath tub, the test in your hands. At the look on your face, he once again found himself wanting to hunt down a man he once considered a friend. You were so pale, your chest heaving as your breath came out in rough pants, your eyes looked unfocused.
âOh, darling.â He couldnât help the pet name as he kneeled beside you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you against his chest. His other hand carefully took the test out of your shaking hands, noting the positive result before setting it aside so he could rub your arm in comfort.
âWhat am I going to do?â you asked, voice shaking. âI canât, Iâm pregnant.â
âItâll be okay,â Carisi whispered.
âHow?! How the hell is this going to be okay?â you demanded pulling back from him, eyes blazing, panic seeming to fade as the anger at your situation hit you full force. âIâm pregnant, and the bastard of a father left without even so much as a good bye! I canât do this.â
âYes, you can,â Carisi assured you. âYou are so insanely strong, not to mention brave. You would be an amazing mother. Whatever decision you choose I will support you.â
âYou will? Why?â you asked confused.
âYouâre my friend and I care about you,â he answered, voice firm.
âRegardless of my decision?â you wanted to confirm, knowing that Carisi had his faith. âEven if I decide I donât want to keep the baby?â
âYes, it is your decision,â Carisi nodded. âBut, again, regardless, I will support you through it. Now come on we need to get off this cold floor and you need to eat something.â
âCarisi, I canât,â you whined, mood switching again. âMy pants donât fit.â
âI got you new ones remember?â he gently pulled you up off the floor, pulling out a handkerchief and wiped away the tears that had started to fall down your cheeks again as your rage ebbed away at the thought that your pants donât fit.
âOh, right,â you bit your lip as your eyes drifted up to Carisiâs face, taking in his features as he wiped away your tears. âThank you.â
âAny time,â he smiled tapping you on the nose. âI also got some ingredients for a pasta dish.â
âOoh, can we have that garlic bread you made the other week?â you asked brightening. Carisiâs food always made you happy, even if at first you thought it was making you gain weight.
âYes, of course I got ingredients to make that garlic bread,â Carisi couldnât help but laugh at not just your quick change in emotion, he was use to that, he thought it was adorable you got so excited about his food.
--
Amanda, Liv and Finn all stood around staring. Watching as Carisi handed you a container with what looked like homemade food, and he then placed a bottle of something on your desk.
âYou need to remember to be taking your vitamins,â they heard him scolding you. âThe Dr said your levels were low.â
ââŚthey tasted funny,â you pouted, hand settling a little on your stomach that had started showing.
âI know that is why I went and got some different ones, apparently they taste like orange, which I know if something you are currently craving,â
âIs Carisi smiling differently?â Amanda asked, head tilted to the side.
âYeah, he looks like y/n hung the moon,â Finn huffed.
âItâs kind of adorable,â Amanda muttered.
âShe looks happy,â Liv smiled softly. She was glad to see it, you hadnât looked so happy in months. And she was worried about what being pregnant with Rafaelâs baby would do, but apparently Carisi had it all under control.
âCarisi, never brought me home made food when I was pregnant,â Amanda complained.
âThatâs cause he wasnât in love with you,â Finn chuckled as he walked away leaving the other two to watch Carisi moon over you. It was sickeningly adorable and for Carisiâs sake Finn hoped nothing went horribly wrong between the two of you. Finn would hate to have to add a list to the names of those he would shoot on sight. It currently had one.
--
You pouted. And pouted some more. Staring up at the poor man through your lashes. Said man was trying, rather admirable, to ignore you, blue eyes looking anywhere but at you. Your eyes narrowed as you stepped closer to him, puffing out your cheeks.
âPlease?â you asked.
âNo,â Carisi sighed, rubbing his forehead.
âCarisi,â you whined. âPlease.â
âItâs nearly midnight, I am not going out to get you ice cream,â
âBut I want pickles and ice cream,â you huffed. âAnd we only have pickles and no ice creamâŚoh and sprinkles! With peanut butter, that sounds sooo good. Doesnât that sound yummy?â
âSure,â Carisi laughed, this was the fourth time in two days that you had started out wanting something only to find several things to add to it.
âSo, youâll get the stuff?â you bounced lightly on your feet, hands moving to hold your stomach. You were entering your second trimester, and the cravings were only getting stronger.
âFine, but you are coming with me,â Carisi tapped you on the nose, grinning when you scrunched it up.
âGood idea!â you nodded. âWe can get pizza as well.â
âPizza?â Carisi asked, face scrunching in confusion as he led you out of your apartment. You nodded, grabbing his hand without thinking and tugging him along.
âYes, now come on.â
--
You werenât entirely sure when your feelings for Carisi changed from friendship to wanting to always be around him. On the odd night when he wasnât at yours you missed him, when he went out into the field and you were stuck at the desk doing paperwork, you missed him. And also worried about him an insane amount. You werenât sure what you wanted to do with this change but you were happy to let things happen when they happened. And you didnât wanna read into too much but he had been spending more time with you lately, it was very rare that he wasnât over at yours or you werenât over at his. Â Like right now, the two of you had just finished an amazing dinner that Carisi had made you, and were now watching tv. You had curled up against him resting your head against his chest as his arm wrapped around your waist. You felt content in a way you hadnât for the longest of times, and you didnât want anything to change.
Just as you were reaching for the popcorn, your separate bowl that was drizzled with salt, sugar, caramel and chocolate, you felt a pressure in your stomach. You gasped sitting up hand pressed against your stomach.
âWhatâs wrong?â Caris moved with you, the arm wrapped around your waist tugging you to his side as his eyes moved between your face and your stomach, his other hand hovering over yours. âAre you in pain?â
âNo, thatâs not it,â you shook your head. âOh, oh!â you grabbed his hovering hand and placed it where yours was. âThe baby is moving.â
Carisiâs whole body felt warm as he felt the light pressure against his hand. His chin came to rest on your shoulder as he looked down at your stomach where your hands were joined together. He tried so hard to ignore the feelings that were building the longer he was around you, this wasnât suppose to be anything more than a friend helping a friend but the more he watched you bounce happily when you ate his food. Or every time you looked at him with those soft eyes, pouting at him to get your way. It was near impossible to do anything but fall for you. That small little crush of his that had started when he joined the team, that he tried to ignore when he saw you liked Rafael, came back full force about two months into helping you.
âLook at that,â he whispered, his voice directly in your ear causing a small shiver to run through your body.
âOur baby has a strong kick huh?â you asked turning your head a little, nose rubbing against his cheek.
âOur baby?â Carisi felt his brain screech to a holt. You jolted, eyes wide as your own words repeated themselves through your head. Echoing a little in Carisiâs head as well.
âWhat?â
âYou called the baby, ours,â Carisi moved his chin from your shoulder so he could look at you properly, trying hard to keep the smile from his face but there was no way to keep those blue eyes of his from shinning.
âI guess I did,â you nodded slowly licking your lips, suddenly finding it difficult to look at those eyes.
âDid you mean it?â
âIâŚI did,â you nibbled on your bottom lip, stomach fluttering. âI mean, youâve taken me to every appointment, youâve gone with me when I needed to get new clothes, you put up with every little craving I have andâŚyouâre always here for me. Just like you said.â Your hand shook as it rose to cradle his face, thumb stroking just under his eye.
âDarling,â Carisi lent into your hand, those eyes burning bright with hope. âCan I kiss you?â
âYou better,â you demanded leaning close to him.
âGladly,â Carisi chuckled as he closed the distance between the two of you.
The feel of his lips brushing yours made your heart quicken, your hand cupping his cheek moved to cup his jaw as you angled your head, moving your lips against his. His hand on your waist stroked up to hold the back of your head, lightly tangling with your hair and tugging it gently as his tongue swiped out teasingly. You gasped into the kiss when you felt a slightly stronger kick, pulling away from the kiss you looked down where Carisi was stroking your stomach.
âSomeoneâs a little excited,â you smiled, pressing a kiss against his cheek before leaning back and putting both hands against your stomach. âDo, you wanna stay the night?â
--
âI want this baby out,â you groaned lowering yourself onto the couch next to Carisi holding your shoes in your hand. âI canât put my shoes on.â
âGive em here,â Carisi rolled his eyes grabbing your shoes and kneeling in-front of you. âIt wonât be long now before you give birth.â
âThank fuck,â you rubbed your stomach giggling at Carisi when he raised an eyebrow at your comment. âHey, you try growing a baby in you, carrying it for nine months, getting cankles, craving the oddest combination of food ever, having your body change in ways you never even thought about, your back constantly hurting, and finally needing to pee every five minutes.â
âFair enough,â he focused on putting your shoes on, knowing already not to comment on anything that you just said. Last time he did, you cried. Although when you were crying about having cankles and he tried to be supportive you threw a pillow at him. So really, it was a fifty-fifty how you would respond.
âCome on, letâs go,â you held out your hands making grabbing motions at him.
âAlright, up you come,â Carisi grabbed hold of you and helped you up. You grinned up at him and took a step just before a sharp pain radiated from your stomach. You gabbed hold of it wincing in pain. âAre you alright?â
âYeah, Iâm totally fine,â you waved him off. âItâs just my stomach trying to kill me, been happening on and off for like the day.â
âWait, you said your back was hurting?â
âYeah so, Iâm carrying around a watermelon,â
âNormally, constant back pain can be a sign that you are going into labour,â Carisi said. âAnd you are getting cramps?â
âWell, Iâve gone nearly two decades with getting cramps and while those where definitely painful these are something much different and are coming closer and closer together,â
âUm, honey,â Carisi started. âI think you might be in labour.â
âWhat like three weeks early? Pfft, unlikely, my family has a history of being like either exactly nine months or like two weeks late,â you shrugged just as your felt a gush of something wet leaving you. âOn the other hand, I think you might be rightâŚmy water just broke.â
âOh shit!â Carisi started to panic. âWe donât have your hospital bag ready and we donât have our route to the hospital!â
âDominick!â you shouted lightly tapping him on the cheek. âItâll be fine. Letâs just go, we can always ask one of the others to get me some things.â
âRight, right,â he nodded. âLetâs go.â His arm automatically wrapping around your lower back to help support you as he offered his other arm for you to take as he led you carefully to the car.
--
âDom, look itâs our daughter,â you whispered breathlessly staring down in wonder at the beautiful little girl in your arms. You had been worried that she would noticeably look like Rafael but thankfully your baby girl had inherited nearly everything from you, and you hoped that it stayed that way. But it truly didnât matter. Carisi was her father in every way that counted, and every way that mattered.
âSheâs gorgeous,â Carisiâs breathed, eyes wetting with tears as he carefully reached out and gently stroked her cheek. âJust like her mother.â You rolled your eyes but couldnât wipe the smile from your face. Your eyes drifted to the bag that Olivia had brought in for you, when she came in to say hello to your beautiful baby girl, and leaving with a wink.
âSweetie, can you get something from my bag? It should be right on top,â you nodded towards it, breaking Carisiâs little mutterings that he was making towards your daughter.
âOh, sure yeah,â he nodded distractedly. You grinned down at your daughter in secret, leaning to press a kiss to her soft little forehead.
âIâve got a little surprise for your daddy,â you told her.
âUm, babe, is this? Is this what I think it is?â Carisi turned around holding a ring box in his hand, the lid opened to reveal a manâs ring. The band a gorgeous mixture of black, gold and silver intertwining with a hint of blue.
âDominick Sonny Carisi, you have been my rock for the past near nine months, bringing so much happiness and light into my life,â you started, feeling yourself getting choked up. You blinked furiously. âI fell for you without even noticing. You are the father of my daughter, and without a doubt you are the love of my life. Weâre already a family but I think we should make it official. Will you marry me?â
Carisiâs mouth was open, his eyes welling up with my tears as he stared at you, sitting there in the hospital bed holding his daughter. Looking more radiate than he had ever seen you. And all he could do was nod silently and take the ring out of the box and put it on his finger.

The Five Stages of Grief: Anger
A/N: sorry it took me so long to get this up! It's been a crazy couple weeks and I hadn't had any time (or will, frankly) to do any editing. But it's here now! Also, guess who finally got an AO3 account? The story's posted over there now as well.
Pairing: Sonny Carisi x female reader
Tags: still angsty; language
Word count: 3.4K (I'm sorry, I got carried away!)
Previous parts: Prologue | Denial
After Amanda got her kids in bed, she decided to catch up on The Bachelor. He was about to give away his final rose when she was interrupted by her door buzzer. Begrudgingly, she got up to see who could be stopping by at this hour.
âWho is it?â She asked through the intercom, annoyance evident in her voice.
âUm, itâs Carisi. Can, uhâŚcan I come up?â
Thatâs definitely not who she was expecting. Intrigued, she buzzed him in. She answered the door to a crestfallen Sonny. His hair was in disarray when it was usually cemented in place with gel. It looked like his eyes were red from rubbing them.
Her face of confusion morphed into one of sympathy. âI take it dinner didnât go well?â
Sonny stood in the doorway with his mouth agape. He was completely lost for words. This was not where he planned on being tonight. But he didnât want to be by himself, so he came to Rollins looking for the support of a friend.
âWhy donât you come in?â Ushering him inside, she observed his disheveled clothes as he dragged his feet through her living room. He was really out of it. She went into her kitchen looking for something to cheer him up. âIt was pizza night at the Rollins household, if you want some.â She called to him while rummaging through her refrigerator. âI can get you a beer orââ
Peeking around the corner, she saw Sonny sitting on her couch. Resting his elbows on his knees, cradling his head in his hands. It looked like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. You mustâve said something pretty awful at dinner to have broken him like this.
Changing course, she grabbed some glasses and a bottle of bourbon from the cabinet and joined him on the couch. âSo, let me take a wild guess.â She poured a glass for him and herself. âShe didnât accept your apology?â
He picked up his glass and took a gulp. âDidnât even come by for me to give it.â
âOuchâŚâ After hearing how you walked out on him, Amanda didnât think dinner and an apology would fix much. But she at least expected you to tell him to his face. âThatâs cold.â
âYouâre telling me,â he replied flatly. He took another swig, welcoming the burning in his throat. Anything would feel better than the disappointment coursing through his veins.
âCanât even believe it,â he huffed while staring at his glass. âI ruined the best thing that ever happened to me by missing a dinner reservation.â
âYou know, if thatâs all it took to ruin itâŚmaybe it wasnât all that good to begin with.â Amanda thought Sonny mightâve been looking at you through rose-colored glasses.
âI thought it was.â His face was full of sorrow and remorse as he finished his drink. âI know we havenât spent as much time together lately. But when we were together, I thought we were doing fine.â
âWhatâd she say when she left?â She asked, trying to gauge your actions as she poured him another drink.
âShe was tired of being an afterthought.â
She puffed out a breath and shook her head. âWell, I guess she didnât know what she was signing up for when she decided to date a cop.â Amanda knew the toll working at SVU took on having a personal life. It was a balancing act that required a lot of sacrifices from romantic partners that most werenât willing to make. You werenât from their world. You probably wouldnât understand.
âIâve been trying my best.â His voice was dripping with frustration and exhaustion. âTrying to be a good detective, a good brother, a good boyfriendâŚâ
âI know you have.â
âThen why canât she see that?â
âWhatâs she expecting you to do? Quit your job?â
âI donât know! She wonât even talk to me!â Exasperated, he slammed his glass on the table. This wasnât how tonight was supposed to go. You were supposed to be home together. Apologizing to each other. Hugging one another and promising to do better.
âLook, Carisi, maybe you need to let this goââ
âI donât wanna lose her, Rollins!â That was his worst fear. With all the horrors heâd witnessed, he was petrified something would happen to you. Something that would take you away from him. He just never thought that something would end up being himself.
âOkay, okay.â She set her glass down and grabbed his arm, trying to grab his attention. âNow, I donât claim to be the expert on relationships here. But if this was it, the âtrue loveâ you thought it was, would she have walked away so easily?â
Sonnyâs hand began to tremble. He didnât want to think about that possibility. He loved you and was doing the best he could. He was trying to make everyone happy. Why wasnât that enough for you?
âI just wish sheâd talk to me,â he muttered quietly.
âIâm sure she will,â she reassured him, patting him on the shoulder. âShe canât ignore you forever. But make sure youâre prepared for what sheâs got to say.â
He picked his glass up and gazed down into the brown liquid. Swirling it around, he searched for answers as to what went wrong and what to do next. Unable to find any, he took another drink.
Fin and Sonny had to go out to Brooklyn to talk to a witness. After they finished the interview, they walked back to their car as Fin tried to make him feel better.
âLook, man, all Iâm saying is it could be worse. At least you got the apartment.â It wasnât working. âWhen my ex-wife got mad, sheâd kick my sorry ass out. Spent a lot of time couch surfing those days.â
Sonny could barely hear what Fin was saying. He was preoccupied with his raging headache, courtesy of his hangover from yesterday. He was pissed. And the more he thought about it, the more pissed he got. He texted you late last night and this morning hoping youâd respond.
Doll, please answer me.
I canât fix this if you donât talk to me.
Are you just gonna ignore me forever?
But he was met with radio silence. He was at the end of his rope. A relationship was a two-way street, and he couldnât repair it alone. He was beginning to think you had no interest in trying. He was brought back to reality when he recognized a familiar bank a few blocks ahead. Your bank.
You could avoid his calls and texts, but there was one thing you couldnât ignore.
âWhatâd you say we grab some lunch before heading back? Iâm starving.â Fin asked as they passed by a deli.
âYou go ahead. I, uhâŚgot an errand I need to run. Meet you back here in twenty.â He picked up his pace and sprinted down the street.
You were busying yourself with work. Color-coding your spreadsheets. Reorganizing your filing cabinet. Again. There was a lot of thinking to do, and you were just not up to it.
The texts from Sonny didnât go unnoticed. It felt like your phone was burning a hole in your pocket. You knew you needed to talk. You were only avoiding the inevitable. Conflict really wasnât your thing. You were more content to suffer in silence than voice your concerns. Being so passive helped you get through life. But it also got you walked over on multiple occasions.
You werenât sure if you could move forward together. You wanted you to kiss and make up. Pretend like the other night never happened. But you knew things would inevitably fall back into the same pattern. Back to going to bed alone. Weekends by yourself. Sonny coming home an exhausted shell of himself. You couldnât watch him waste away. Nor could you watch him put all his spare energy into caring for another woman. All your emotions were floating around inside you like a whirlpool. They were all tangled together, and you couldnât separate them enough to know how to explain them to Sonny.
You were going to talk to him. JustâŚnot yet.
The front door opening made you look up from your computer, and you were shocked by what you saw. It was Sonny, swiftly walking towards your desk. And he looked upset. A deer in headlights wouldâve looked less stunned than you.
âWhatâŚwhat are you doing here?â You sheepishly asked as he stared you down.
 âWe need to talk.â His voice was clipped, answer direct.
âIâm at work, Sonny.â
âWell, youâve ignored all my other attempts to get your attention.â
âIâm not ignoring you,â you lied poorly. âIâve just beenâŚbusy.â
Not liking your answer, he huffed and crossed his arms. âWhy didnât you come home yesterday?â
âI told you. I needed some time.â
âWell, exactly how much time do you need?â
You didnât have an answer to that. Your leg started bouncing, and your heart was pounding in your chest. God, why did he have to just show up here? You were already nervous about talking with him before he came. You wanted to get your nerves under control before you met so you could share your feelings with him calmly and eloquently. You werenât expecting to get ambushed.
âYou know, this isnât even fair. Iâve apologized and tried to make things right, but you wonât even give me the time of day.â Sonny was beyond irritated, his voice becoming steadily louder. âYou disappeared in the middle of the night, unable to be reached. Did you know Iâve been worried sick about you?!â
âEverything okay out here?â Your boss called out from behind you. A few colleagues were peeking out to see what the commotion was.
âItâs fine.â You put on a weak smile. âNothing to worry about.â Your boss eyed Sonny up and down. Suddenly realizing how this looked, he uncrossed his arms and took a deep breath to relax his face. He then felt bad about showing up angry and unannounced. Although he took a small comfort in knowing that your boss cared enough to check on you in a situation like this. Your boss gave you a questioning look, and you gave him a reassuring nod in return. Satisfied enough that nothing dangerous was occurring, he reluctantly returned to his office.
âIâll come by later tonight, okay?â You had to get him out of here before he got security called. âNow, will you please leave before we make a bigger scene?â
âThatâs all I asked for.â He turned on his heel and walked out.
You were surprised to see Sonny made it back to the apartment before you. He was sitting on the couch, looking pensive. Nervously, you walked over to sit on the opposite side. It felt strange being so far away when you had been so close just a couple of days ago. You both sat there for several minutes without speaking.
The silence was killing Sonny. He wanted to rip the band-aid off. To yell, fight, scream, something! He needed to move past the conflict part of this story and get to the happy ending. He wanted to hug you. Smell your hair. Whisper how much he loved you and that everything was going to be alright. But you wouldnât even look him in the eye.
Fiddling with your sweaty fingers, you tried to figure out how to explain what you felt. But that was easier said than done. There was some deep-seated fear that saying it out loud would make things worse than they already were. You wanted to swallow your feelings and bury them deep inside. To keep them from hurting anyone.
âSo, thatâs it?â Sonny asked, unable to stay quiet any longer. âWeâre just gonna sit here and not say anything?â
You were frozen in your seat. Searching for the right words and the courage to say them.
âOkay, donât say anything and just listen.â He turned himself to face you. âI know things have been hard for us latelyâŚâ
You had a difficult time hearing Sonny over the ringing in your ears. You started to feel lightheaded and your breath quickened. It felt like you were floating outside of your body, looking down at the two of you. You just wanted to disappear.
Sonny could see that you were not hearing his words. He was losing you, even as he sat beside you, to some dark place in your mind. He needed to get you back, to focus on him. âDoll, please you at me,â he pleaded softly, breaking you out of your trance.
You slowly looked up. When you connected with his sad blue eyes, the corners of yours began to feel moist. But you tried to keep any tears at bay. You were not going to cry. Youâve cried enough already.
âHow did we get here, sweetheart? How do we get back?â He reached across the length of the couch and offered you his hand, hoping youâd let him pull you out of the darkness. He wanted to be a beacon through the storm he saw in your eyes. A storm of raw, painful feelings that he had no doubt caused.
But you couldnât take it. Not now.
âSonny, I donât knowâŚitâs not that simpleââ
âWhat do you mean âitâs not that simpleâ?â He was trying to remain calm but was starting to lose his composure.
You needed this to stop. Maybe ending things would be better for both of you. No more fighting. No more tears. âI think it might be best if weââ
âDonât finish that sentence, please.â Shooting up from the couch, Sonny knelt in front of you and grasped your hands. You didnât pull away, but you couldnât look at him. âTell me how to fix this,â he desperately pleaded. He refused to give up on you. âJust tell me what I have to do so we can go back to how we were!â
You took a deep breath, trying to find your voice. âI canât go back.â
Sonnyâs eyes filled with disappointment. âWhat, why?â
Your instinct was to shrink back into yourself. But you mustered courage you didnât even know you had. âIâm tired, Sonny. I canât wait around for you to choose me.â
âChoose you?â He was stunned by your words. âWhat are you talking about? Iâve chosen you every day since weâve met!â
This was what you wanted to avoid. You didnât want to make him angry. You didnât want a fight. But you were in too deep now.
âI know you think that.â You tried to keep your voice from trembling. âBut Iâve felt so lonely in this relationship. It feels like everybody gets the best of you, and thereâs nothing left for me.â
He didnât understand. How could you think that? How could you not see how much he loved you? âWhy havenât you told me this before?â
âWhen did I have the chance?â You replied with a sigh. âWhen you got off work in the middle of the night? After you came back from taking care of Amanda?â
This realization hit him like a ton of bricks. He released your hands and took a step back in disbelief. âSo thatâs what this is really about?â He couldnât believe that you would think that way. That you thought of him that way.
Your arms were shaky from adrenaline. Arguing like this went against every fiber of your being. âSonny, she sees more of you than I do.â
âSheâs my partner. We work together,â he replied, emphasizing his choice of words.
âItâs not just work,â you countered. âYou with her at work, youâre always at her place. Sometimes it feels like youâd rather spend time there than at homeâŚwith me. And Iâm left here all by myself.â
âThatâs not fair!â He snapped defensively. âYou have friends and family around you, and sheâs got nobody.â
You couldnât help but huff at his response. âYouâre right, I do. Thought I had a boyfriend, too.â
âThe hellâs that supposed to mean?â
âYou said it yourself.â You steadied yourself and stood up from your seat. âShe has nobody but you. What does that sound like, Sonny?â
âItâs not like that and you know it.â
âI do?â Your cheeks began to flush, and your hands clenched into fists as you raised your voice to match his. You desperately wanted him to hear you. To see your side. âDo boyfriends stand their girlfriends up after canceling date night for two months? Or do they take them home and cook them dinner because they had a bad day?â
You left Sonny speechless. Heâd never seen you so angry before. Why you were being so unreasonable? âWhat more do you want me to say, doll?â He asked through gritted teeth. âIâm sorry about missing dinner. I made a mistake. I thought youâd be more understanding since I was helping a friend.â
âThis is more than just missing that date,â you retorted. Months of bitterness were coming to the surface. âThis is about you burning yourself to keep everyone around you warm. Are you even happy, Sonny?â
âExcuse me?â He asked, dumbfounded by your question.
âYouâre gone from dawn âtill dusk, working a job thatâs draining the life from you. What little spare time you have, you spend it taking care of everybody else. When was the last time you did something for yourself?â
Sonny brows knitted together as he pinched the bridge of his nose. âSo youâre saying I should ignore when people need my help?â
You groaned and stamped your foot. He was completely missing your point. âI think you need to start thinking about what matters to you!â
Tensions were high and you were both tired. Physically exhausted, and tired of fighting. Neither of you were thinking straight and were spewing words you didnât mean.
âThis is all because youâre jealous?â He accidentally blurted out in a fit anger. âYouâre seriously jealous of a lonely, single mother? Youâreââ Sonny bit his tongue to stop himself from going any further. He was losing control of his temper and speaking without thinking things through.
Your jaw dropped in shock from his words. Something snapped inside you, and you could hardly recognize the man in front of you. This wasnât the Sonny you had fallen in love with. âNot anymore. She can have you.â
You marched towards the door, past a red-faced Sonny. You couldâve sworn youâd seen steam pouring out of his ears. âIf you walk out that door, thereâs no coming back!â He bellowed at you.
But you ignored his warning. Looking over your shoulder, you yelled, âIâm done third-wheeling this relationship. You can fuck her all you want now!â
You slammed the door and ran down the stairwell. Once outside, you leaned against the building, then collapsed to the ground and sobbed. Your pulse was pounding in your head. It felt like your lungs had collapsed in on themselves, making every breath you took a struggle. You were shaking uncontrollably, experiencing a full-blown panic attack. What did you just do? How could you say those things?
Reaching his boiling point, Sonny punched a hole in the wall. The impact shook the apartment, and one of the picture frames on the mantle crashed to the floor. Needing to cool down before he caused any more damage, he sat down and took some deep breaths, not even noticing the pain radiating from his knuckles. He was disgusted by your accusation. But also equally appalled by what he said. He didnât mean it. Could never mean it. He didnât want you to leave.
Once he had his emotions under control, he took a second to observe the aftermath of his rage. A hole in the wall, broken glass on the floor, and a bruised hand. Completely drained, he thought it was best to try and get some sleep. He dragged himself to his bedroom to take off his sweat-drenched clothes and crawl under the covers, hoping sleep would overtake him. But as he stood at the foot of the bed, he couldnât bring himself to sleep in there. This was your room.
The bed you shared.
It was only a tiny one-bedroom apartment, but he felt so lost in there without you. It wasnât home if you werenât here. He grabbed a pillow and blanket and stumbled into the living room, resigned to sleep on the couch. He got as comfortable as he could on the small sofa and closed his eyes. As he tried to fall asleep, the red-hot anger that had fueled him began to diminish. All he was left with was a feeling of emptiness.
Alone. He felt alone.

Sonny Carisi: Reliving His Detective Days (NSFW!!!)Â
I donât know how this happened again, but Sonny decided he had to have another story right now and it came out of nowhere. How many of you liked my other Sonny story so quickly shocked me. It was such a confidence boost to my just starting to write again heart. Thank you!
Â
Dominick Carisi considers himself a smart and observant man. Itâs what made him a good detective and now ADA. He knows that something is going on as soon as he opens the door of his apartment. The furniture had been pushed around and there was an area that looked like an old-fashioned blanket fort taking up the other half of his living room. He set his briefcase down just as you were walking around the corner. He looked at you with furrowed brows, âDoll-?âÂ
âYou must be the detective they sent to check on the 488.â Sonny pauses looking at you appraisingly still trying to figure out what was going on. The code you gave, like most others, he still had memorized from his time as a cop. Â
âPetty theft?â He says it like a question even though he knows he is correct. You make your eyes go big as you try to look innocent playing with the ends of your hair.Â
âThatâs what they say, but I swear detective I didnât steal anything.â You look down at the floor shifting guiltily then look back up at him. You bite your cherry-stained bottom lip. âBut I understand that you have to do your job and check.â Your eyes locked with his blue ones. There is a still silent pause. You stood waiting to see if your boyfriend would pick up the game that you had started. One that you couldnât stop thinking about since Sonny had admitted that he sometimes missed his detective days. It had brought a pantie-wetting image of a younger version of him with a badge clipped to his hip that you couldnât seem to shake.Â
âMy job?â He repeats slowly almost to himself even as he looks at you. You tilt your head at him. âRight, my job...as a detective.â He still looks a little unsure of himself as he walks farther into the living room. Even though he is unsure what you are playing at exactly his cop brain exactly what he needs to do. A quick frisk. âI need you to turn around and put your hands on the wall.âÂ
âOkay, detective.â You turn to put your hands on the wall. You feel his body heat behind you as he gets closer but leaves a respectful distance. You are disappointed and slightly amused when his hands start patting you down quickly and efficiently. His hands barely feel your chest before moving on and sliding down your arms. You can't help but smile and shake your head at your sweet man. You shift pressing your hands more firmly against the wall and use the leverage to push your ass back into his crotch grinding into him. You hear his sharp intake of breath then he curses but otherwise stays still. âEverything okay detective?â You rub against him with your ass as turn your head to look back at him. His blue eyes are staring straight into you. They are focused his pupils dilated with lust. Itâs clear that he now knows what game you are playing. You give him a mischievous smile. Â
âYeah, just try and hold still.â His body presses tightly against you as he starts to pat you down again. This time his touches are firm and lingering. He caresses down your right arm to your shoulder making your skin break out in goosebumps. Then gives a similar treatment to the left arm. His hands come to the top of both your shoulders again before sliding down your chest. He does a quicker pass over your breast for the first swipe. Then slides down your stomach before going back up and cupping them both in his hands squeezing at the ample flesh. He can tell the bra that you're wearing is thin and lacy even through the fabric of your shirt. He swipes his thumbs and can feel the peaks of your nipples hardening under his ministrations. His hands make another pass, and he pauses when he feels something hard on the edge of your bra just under your armpit. âOh, and whatâs this?â Â
âI donât know what you mean detective.â He pulls at your arm, and you turn to face him.Â
âIf you donât fess up, Iâll be forced to strip-search you.â His face is serious, and you press your lips together. You feel the heat still burning low in your stomach from his attention on your breast and the bulge in his pants pressing against your ass. Â Â
âI donât have anything.â He sighs, âBut if you have to, can we at least go in the dressing room?â You gesture to the blanket fort-like structure. You see a brief look of amusement flash across his face before regaining his seriousness.Â
âThat would be for the best. After you.â He follows you into the surprisingly spacious âdressing roomâ. âAlright, I need you to remove your shirt for me.â His tone is all authority and no-nonsense. You feel a shiver run down your back. Sonny in charge is hot. You nod and make a show of slowly unbuttoning your shirt. He holds eye contact with you until you get it completely undone and slipping off your shoulders. His eyes drop devouring the newly exposed skin. Your bra is barely there. Just a few scraps of red lace that do nothing to contain your generous size. He can see your nipples through the fabric. It takes him a minute to regain his thoughts and even start looking for the hard object that he had felt. There it was, slid on the corner of your bra right under your armpit, one of his tie clips. The metal shined tauntingly at him. âAnd whatâs this?â Â
You shiver at the sensation of his fingers dragging purposefully against your skin as he removes the clip from your bra. âI have no idea how that got there.âÂ
âReally, thatâs what you're going with?â You press your lips together to keep yourself from smiling at his sassy attitude making an appearance. It was one thing to listen to him in court where he had to weave it into carefully chosen words and another to get a full dose of it. You felt a pang of sadness that you didnât have the pleasure of meeting Dominick when he was still a detective. âSo, you were just browsing when, what, it happened to fall down your shirt at just the right angle to catch perfectly onto your bra? Wow, thatâs a hell of a party trick.âÂ
âDetective-âÂ
âSince I already found something on you, Iâm going to need you to remove the rest of your clothes. To make sure nothing else managed to... cling onto you without your knowledge.â You nodded and reached behind you to unhook your bra. You donât undo it, instead, just fiddle with the band behind your back. âProblem?â Â
âThe clasp is stuck.â Â
âReally,â His tone is deadpan but there is mirth in his eyes. He is clearly enjoying your back-and-forth. âDo you need help?â He sighs stepping closer, his chest brushes against your sensitive nipples making you bite back a moan. One of his hands finds your lower back, right above your jean shorts. It glides up your spine and you lean into him washed in the smell of his musky cologne. His hand reaches the clasp and with one quick precise movement, the clasp opens to your bra and it falls forward catching between your chests. âThere,â He whispered into your ear, âNow take off your shorts.â Your body trembled against him, a flood of arousal sweeping through your core. Â
He steps back and you let the scrap of lace fall to the floor in front of you. You barely have the button undone when Sonny sees another glint of silver metal. Your shorts hit the floor and he gets a clear view of another tie clip attached to the equally small red panties that you are wearing. It is on the waistband pointing straight down to your soaked cunt like an arrow trying to find its mark.Â
His hand moves to cup your heat and you bite back a groan. He rubs the soaked material with his fingers, his thumb rubbing purposefully against your clit. You close your eyes forehead pressed gently against his chest panting. One of his long clever fingers slips underneath and enters your core. He curls it expertly and your hands come up to his hips needing something to hold onto. He pulls back and removes the tie clip from your panties with a butterfly touch that has you arching into him wanting. He steps back and holds the two clips up, âLooks like Iâm going to have to take you down to the station.âÂ
âIs that really necessary?â You walk forward to him again pressing your hand firmly against his chest. âCanât we just... work something out between the two of us?â You start your handâs dissent down toward the now obvious bulge in his dress pants. He catches it between his own.Â
âAre you trying to bribe a law enforcement officer? Thatâs a felony.â You look up into his blue eyes and pout your lower lip. âBut if it really is a misunderstanding, then as two willing adults maybe we can figure out a way to... resolve the issue.â You understand his meaning and give him a smile. Â
âOh, very willing detective Carisi.â You push him backward towards the one chair that you had left in the space. He gets your point, and he sits down. Your hands find his length through his dress pants, and he hisses. You undo his pants, and he lifts his hip so you can pull them and his boxer down. His cock is hard and leaking pre-cum. You drop down to your knees and lick a stripe up the underside of his cock before lapping the head. You sink your mouth father down on his cock and he groans. You start bobbing your head sucking. You bring your hand up to start stroking the base that you canât fit in your mouth. Â
His hands go to your hair making a makeshift ponytail, his long fingers curling into the nape of your neck. You look up and make eye contact with him. He pulls at your hair urging you faster. You increase your speed and start swirling your tongue around his dick. âFuck,â You are encouraged by his groans and are really getting into it when he pulls on your hair hard. You moan loudly as his cock is released from your mouth. âThatâs a good start sweetheart, but Iâm going to need you to really convince me that this is a misunderstanding and that this isnât going to happen again.âÂ
You stand up and climb onto his lap straddling him. Your chest brushes against his still fully clothed one. You put one hand on his shoulder for balance and use the other to pull your panties to the side and notch the head of his dick on your entrance. You both moan as you slide down his length. You roll your hip and keen in satisfaction when you get some friction on your clit. His hands come to your hips to steady you as you start bouncing on his cock. After a little adjustment, you find the perfect angle. One that hits a sensitive spot in you, his cock deep inside of you. Â
Carisiâs eyes get hypnotized watching your breast bounce as you fuck yourself him. His hands find one before he catches it in his mouth. You groan and start riding him harder, your hand finding the hair at the nape of his neck. You keep pace but after a while your legs start to burn with strain and you can feel yourself slowing down. Carisi runs his hands up your back and tightens his grip to hold you still as he starts thrusting roughly up into you. You feel your orgasm begin to rapidly build. His thrusts continue to slam into that sensitive spot in you and you cry out his name as your orgasm rips through you. Your core clamps hard on his cock your arousal dripping from you coating his cock and thighs. Â
His hands slide down to your ass as he gets close his thrusts getting sloppy as he grinds you down into him. He comes squeezing your ass cheeks tight enough to border on pain. You rock against him as he continues to pump his cum into you with shallow thrusts. He presses his face onto your shoulder as you cling to his back, locking together in your mutual pleasure. You guys played the game, and both won. Â
âIs that what you wanted doll?â Sonny asked when you pulled back to look at each other. His hands smoothed some of your hair before he thumbed away some leftover red lipstick that had survived the messy blowjob that you had given him. You sigh happily,Â
âThat is more than I wanted Sonny.â You lean up and kiss him, so softly in comparison to the rough sex you two had just had. He lifts you up so that his softening member leaves you before setting you back down on his lap. âIâm sad that I missed you being a cop.â He chuckles leaning back in the chair.Â
âI promise you; it was nothing like that sweetheart.â You laugh, pressing your forehead against his. âBut Iâll give it to you, that was even better than reliving my old glory days.â You smile giving him a few soft kisses. Â
âIâm just happy you played along.â You admit, while it may not have seemed like it you thought maybe Sonny wouldnât want to roleplay. It was something you had always wanted to try but never felt secure enough with your partners to try. Â
âIâll admit I was confused at first,â You blushed feeling slightly embarrassed for blindsiding him. Â
âSorry, I didnât know how to ask. Iâve never done anything like this before. Besides you caught on pretty quick.âÂ
âYeah well, when you grinded on my cock like that it was a little hard to misinterpret.â You laugh wiggling again on his lap and he swats your ass playfully. âHow about we take a shower and then order some takeout and watch a movie on the couch?â You sit up straighter in his lap.Â
âThat sounds great but Iâm going to have to put the living room back together again first.â Sonny laughs at that rubbing your back.Â
âDonât worry about it, Iâll do it...or you know what doll, we could just pull the couch in here and watch, the TV is still seeable. Besides I always wanted a date night like that, reminds me of my teen years. And who knows, maybe this time I will actually get lucky during the movie.âÂ
âYou're insatiable.â You tell him, getting off the chair and pulling him to his feet. You press a kiss to his lips. "But I bet I could make that happen. Gray sweatpants turn me on.â Â Â Â Â Â

âŻâŻâŻâŻ
For a while you had been toying with Peter and Sonny because they both had feelings for you, even thought lately you had been more close with Peter. Two weeks ago, Sonny took you out to his favorite restaurant, and last week, Peter took you to a baseball game. You, Sonny and Peter hung out a lot after work if one of them werenât spending time with you, and you were hoping for something more with one, or both of them.
âY/N.â You turned and saw Peter coming over to you. You were the only detective in the precinct, Sonny had left to get ready for movie night. On the other hand you were chilling in the break room getting some paperwork done. That was something you did when you didnât feel like sitting at your desk.
âOh hey Peter.â You smiled.
âHey there beautiful.â He said. He kissed your cheek before he sat down.
âYou always find a way to flirt with me.â
âEver since that baseball game, Iâve had even more feelings for you.â
His hand found a way to your thigh.
âAww, Peter. Really?â
âYeah. I canât stop thinking about you, and I was hoping...â
There was a bit of silence between the two of you.
âThat maybe we can spend more time together. Alone.â
âI- How did you know?â
You scooted closer to Peter.
âItâs written all over you.â You whispered.
You and Peter both knew the energy shifted after that. He moved closer and kissed you. You kissed him back and it was one of the best things you ever experienced. His hands went to your ass, gripping it so he could transport you from your chair to his lap. A squeal escaped your lips.
âDamn Peter.â
âDamn, is absolutely correct. Whatâs on for tonight?â
âI was thinking Gothika or the Invisible Guardian, since you boys donât want to watch romance movies.â
âI think we know how that would play out. But I would kill for some Naked.â
âOoh, Naked sounds good. Iâll tell Sonny when he gets there.â
Peter smiled and looked at you.
âWhat?â
âNothing. You just look beautiful sitting on my lap.â
You kissed him then slid the paperwork closer to you so you could finish it. You shifted in his lap so that both of your legs were facing the table and you let him grip you by your waist. Peter watched as you completed your DD5âs. At one point he pushed some of your hair back.
âPeter...â You smiled. âVery tempting of you.â
Your phone went off with a text from Sonny asking you if you were still on for sitting in on the civil court case heâs working with Pippa Cox for with him. You replied with an âOf course! I canât wait!â
âYou planning on being a lawyer?â
âI havenât thought about it. Iâm just really interested in the court system. Plus, if I ever decided to, I have one of many great former and current ADAâs I can go to.â
âAm I on that list?â Peter whispered.
âTop 3.â You whispered back, finishing the last component of the 5. âOkay. Iâm done.â
âGood. I canât wait to see what you wear later. â
âIâm sure you canât.â You smirked, getting up from his lap. âAccompany me to Livâs office and my desk?â
âOf course.â Peter got up and grabbed you by the waist as you were fixing up the papers.
âPeter!â You shrieked. He chuckled and pulled you closer to him, then kissing your lips. After your little make out session, you stopped by Livâs office and placed your forms on her desk along with a small note, then went to your desk to grab your things.
âSo... Iâll see you in about an hour or two?â You asked after getting outside.
âI wouldnât miss it for the world.â
A grin formed on your face. âBye for now, Peter.â You planted a kiss on his cheek and then went on your separate ways.
âŻâŻâŻâŻ
You had just finished getting dressed and spritzing yourself with a body mist. You wore a pink silk spaghetti strap cropped v neck, a pair of pink and flower patterned tie up sleep shorts, a black silk long robe, and white fuzzy socks. Going to the kitchen to set up snacks, you heard the doorbell rang and when you went to check, it was Sonny.
âSonny!â You squealed when he kissed your cheek and gave you a tight hug and lifted you off the floor a bit. You closed the door behind him when he put you down.
âYou look beautiful for someone whoâs hosting movie night.â
âYou think Iâm overdressed?â
âOf course not, doll.â Sonny stepped closer to you and his hand made its way under your robe. It slowly slipped off and there was a moment of silence between the two of you. Sonnyâs hands then went to the sliver of bare skin. âWhat youâre wearing is just fine.â
âGood.â You whispered. You planted a kiss on his cheek and walked over to the kitchen to prepare the snacks.
You already had the wine out, two bottles of everyoneâs favorite cabernet sauvignon to be more specific, and you wanted to prepare a small charcuterie board with several cheeses, meats, grapes, and dark chocolate. You enjoyed doing things like this, it gave you a sort of satisfaction. People always praised you for bringing the best snacks and things of the sort.
Sonny followed behind you and offered to help you set up and make a pretty display. While setting up, the doorbell rang and you went to get it.
âY/N,â Peter started, looking at you with a smile on his face.
âHi Peter!â You smiled back. He pulled you into a hug for a little while. âWeâre in the kitchen.â
Now finally, the three of you were here and ready to get the party started. You spent some time with them in the kitchen playing around by tossing and playfully feeding each other pieces of cheese, grapes, and chocolate. You were having fun. You liked hanging out with Peter and Sonny, and they liked hanging out with you just the same.
After a little while doing that, the guys helped you finish your display in the living room with the last of snacks, and then it was time to settle down.
âŻâŻâŻâŻ
âAre you boys getting bored?â You asked, taking another sip of wine.
After many glasses of wine and a fee snacks remaining, the three of you had finished the first movie, and was on the second movie you chose.
âOh dear Y/N, very, very bored.â Peter joked. He draped an arm around you and looked at you passionately.
âBoohoo.â You mused. You turned to look at Sonny who was sitting beside you as well. Sonny?â
Sonny smiled. âNever with you.â
âYouâre so cute.â You smiled, planting a small kiss on his nose.
Peterâs hand trailed along the bare parts of your body. âI think⌠we can have a lot more fun on our own.â
You looked back at Peter, noticing the fierceness in his eyes. You let that same hand caress your cheek. Peter wanted to do his own thing, give you pleasure, and he wasnât gonna let you go easily. He moved closer to you, his hands moving to your thigh.
However, you werenât gonna give in. Not that easily. You sat there, letting Peter seduce you until you reached your breaking point. The softest moan escaped your lips. Sonny watched in amazement as Peter continued to seduce you. He turned your head to face him and he leaned in to kiss you. It was soft but also rough. You gave in and kissed him back, pulling him closer to you. You guided his hand to hold your waist. While kissing Peter you searched for Sonnyâs hand to touch you as well. You could tell Sonny was hesitant, but when you felt the warmth of his body touch through the thin piece of silk that was the robe, you knew he wanted a piece of you too.
Sonny slipped a part of your robe off and kissed your bare shoulder, then went up to your neck and sucked on the soft skin. You had stopped kissing Peter at this point and he was leaving kisses on your chest. He slipped off the other side of your robe and as of now, the two men left you with bare shoulders.
âBoys. I think we should take this to the bedroom.â You whispered ever so shallowly.

Watch Party
It's hockey season, so of course I've been watching my team as much as possible (go, Avs!). And since I think Sonny would be a fun friend to watch hockey with, this little oneshot was born. But because Barba is...well, Barba, I gotta involve him. Enjoy!
Pairing: Rafael Barba x Reader
Word Count: 961
Rating: T (swearing)
Chapter: 1/1
Summary: You invite Barba to join you and Carisi for a hockey game watch party. That just so happens to be at your place. And has absolutely nothing to do with your slight crush on the A.D.A.
âSee ya tonight?â You give Carisi a playful nudge.
âWouldn't miss it,â he replies with a grin, âneed me to bring anything?â
âNope, I got drinks and the pizzas are pre-ordered.â
You notice Barba's green eyes filled with confusion and curiosity as you turn to face him fully.
âRangers are in the playoffs tonight,â you begin.Â
âThat's a hockey team,â Carisi chides and you hold back a chuckle as Barba rolls his eyes.
âI do know that much, detective.â
âSonny's TV is on the blink, so we're doing the watch party at my place. You should come.â You pause and do your best to put a serious look on your face. âStrict dress code though. Jerseys only.â
âI got an extra jersey for ya, counselor,â Carisi offers with a lopsided smirk, giving the A.D.A. a smack on the back.Â
You see Barba's jaw tense ever so slightly and you place a hand on his arm, feeling a slight pang of guilt at the frown that flickers across Barba's face. You'd never known him to take an interest in sports before, but you feel the urge to include him regardless. Not that you'd ever admit it, but the thought of him coming over to your apartment gives you a slight case of butterflies.
âI'd love it if you came by,â you say softly, ignoring the cheeky smirk still on Carisiâs face. âI have pizza, beer, and whiskey.â
âWell, if there's whiskeyâŚâ Barba pretends to think for a moment before shrugging. âI'm in.â
~~~~~~~~
âAw, what the hell was that?â Carisi gestures wildly at the television as you spew profanities of your own.
You find yourself nestled between Barba, whose arm is lazily draped along the back of the couch, and Carisi, who alternates between leaning forward and leaning back against you. Plates are scattered on your coffee table, remnants of thin-crust pizza here and there.Â
You knock back the last of your beer, getting to your feet as intermission begins. âMore beer, Sonny?â
Carisi nods and raises his empty bottle in a mock salute. You glance at Barba, who leans forward and swirls his half-full glass of whiskey, looking out of place in a hockey jersey in lieu of his suit jacket. You chuckle quietly as you hear Carisi begin to ramble, throwing out stats and numbers that clearly mean nothing to Barba. You can't help but smile at the fact that he'd come over, letting yourself believe that he'd come just for you. After all, a little daydreaming never hurt anyoneâŚright?
âOh, now that's just bullshit,â you interrupt Carisi as he tries to convince Barba that his favourite player is superior.
You grab two beers and move back to the couch, Barba sitting back again as you and Carisi go back and forth, spouting names and phrases that the A.D.A. barely recognizes. Unbeknownst to you, Barba keeps his gaze focused on you, eyes twinkling with something akin to admiration. Once the 3rd period resumes, the argument between you and Carisi stills and you lean back again, nudging Barba with your hip and shooting him a smile, one he returns without a second thought.
You watch the clock ticking down as the 3rd period comes to an end, the score still tied. Your eyes follow the action as the puck is batted around, a sea of blue jerseys around the opposing net as the clock starts the final 10 second countdown. You feel your breathing stop for a split second as the puck slides past the scrambling goalie before the sound of the goal horn blares through the television. You and Carisi let out a yell as you both leap to your feet, his arms wrapping around you to swing you around.
When your feet hit the floor, you turn to see Barba getting to his feet, caught up in the celebration. You could swear you feel Carisi nudge you towards the A.D.A. and you leap into Barba, throwing your arms around his neck as his hands instinctively find your waist. A grin spreads across your face and you find yourself looking into his flashing green eyes, the spark you find there sending a tingle through your spine. Hearing the buzzer sound the end of the period, as well as the game, you're flooded with excitement again and you lean forward, your lips pressing against Barba's before you can catch yourself. His lips are soft, tasting slightly of whiskey as they mold to yours, warmth coursing through your body. A whoop from Carisi shocks you both back to reality and you pull apart, gazes meeting as your heart races.
âI think I'm beginning to like hockey,â Barba murmurs, low enough that only you can hear and you feel a blush creeping up your neck.
You try to mumble a response but Carisi whoops again and you pull away from Barba, suddenly self-conscious at your close proximity to the A.D.A. You turn and grin at your partner before being pulled into another bear hug, letting out a cheer to rival Carisiâs.
âWhat a game, eh, counselor?â Carisi grins at Barba, who merely smirks and nods in response.
Moments later, the three of you settle back onto the couch, you and Carisi watching intently as the post-game interviews begin, red faced players grinning into the camera as they announce their plans for the next round. After a minute, you glance over at Barba and find his gaze trained on you, a soft smile tugging at the curve of his lips. Warmth starts to spread through your body again as you focus back on the television, chewing on your bottom lip as you feel Barbaâs eyes still on you.
What a fucking night this turned out to beâŚ
2024 TV Season Analysis â Organized Crime Tops the Franchise, Law & Order Better, SVU Needs an Overhaul
The 2023-24 TV season has been a truncated TV season of 13 episodes, due the ongoing WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes that happened last year. A lot of scripted TV was back burned until the strikes ended. TV writers struck their deal first and were back to work promptly, long before actors/actresses, this should have given time to plan out their already short season. Production crunched for 13 episodes to be shot between late November until this coming week, where SVU and mother ship reboot will be wrapping up shooting their finale episodes.
But where does this season grade in its entirety? Iâm going to summarize â as much as I can - my views on where the franchise stands for this season from best to worst. Click below to read.
Organized Crime â The best in the franchise creatively, hands down!
New show runner/executive producer John Shiban (The X-Files) and his writing staff understood their assignment and have definitely delivered. Organized Crime is the most entertaining series in the franchise this season, week-over-week. The storylines are so fleshed out and they donât drag on as they had since the series started. Shiban has shifted focus to the OC main characters and their backstories as well as expanding on the OC unit in its entirety. Weâve even seen 2 of SVUâs former stars show up (Tamara Tunie, Chief M.E. Melinda Warner / Dann Florek, Donald Cragen) as well as an appearance by Peter Scanavino (ADA Dominick Carisi). We have even been introduced to more of Stablerâs family, his brothers â portrayed by guest stars Dean Norris and Michael Trotter â and while theyâve come in and shook things up for Stabler, one thing I can point out, itâs the first season since OC premiered where I havenât felt that Elliot Stabler is on a quest for vengeance or retribution of some kind.
The cast has been firing on all cylinders this season, especially with the episode that just aired last week (âCrossroadsâ), where one of OCâs new team members went missing and was found to be killed, Stabler having the bury his body as he is undercover with the group that found Detective-in-Training Samir Bashir (guest star Abubakr Ali). This story is still playing out so as of now we donât fully know who killed him but Iâm sure weâre about to find out. Stablerâs younger brother, Joe Jr. may have some involvement as the investigation is about to come full circle. Meanwhile, the scene in question in this episode has Christopher Meloni and Danielle Mone Truitt deliver their most powerful scene together yet in the series and they have delivered quite a few, this one stands out though.
Excellent only begins to describe it, and Organized Crime this season. Organized Crime has yet to be renewed for the 2024-25 TV season.
Law & Order (reboot) â Itâs improved, but we still have a ways to go.
There is a lot to be said of the mother ship series, both the original and this reboot. But this reboot has seen a lot in its short time on air, in this short season alone the cast has changed twice already. Jeffrey Donovan (Detective Frank Cosgrove) and the series parted ways weeks before production was set to start and veteran Sam Waterston (District Attorney Jack McCoy) chose to depart before mid-season. Sam Waterston is/will greatly be missed and he leaves behind a full legacy on the show, which he joined in 1994! Meanwhile newcomers Reid Scott (Detective Vincent Riley) and Tony Goldwyn (District Attorney Nicholas Baxter) have been welcomed by fans with open arms. The cast of the reboot no matter which season is very solid and they are all very talented, but their talents often seem crippled.
The reboot seems to have an issue fleshing out the characters. Det. Jalen Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) and ADA Sam Maroun (Odelya Halevi) â and add DA Nick Baxter (Goldwyn) to me, week-in and week-out are the unsung heroes as with them we can see depth, we can understand why they make the decisions they make or feel the way they do on certain topics. Iâm still on the fence about Rileyâs development but heâs definitely has a more solid partnership with Shaw than Cosgrove did, and he certainly is a better character. I think theyâve got a great detective duo here â reminiscent of that of Ed Green (Jesse L. Martin) and Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) in season 18. From about the third episode this season on up, there has been an improvement in the writing, I must say in comparison from where the season started. Most of the episodes this season seem to have one singular writer who stands out, Pamela Wechsler, who also serves as executive producer. Girl power!
What can help the reboot:
The writers need to get away from talking points and political affiliation when it comes to the characters and even the weekly storylines - looking at you show runner Rick Eid - it makes the characters come off as caricatures and stereotypes. And maybe not directly rip the episodes from the headlines near verbatim. It takes away from it if we already know how it plays out â where is âthe Law & Order twist?â They need to deep dive into Vincent Reilly, Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) and Kate Dixon (Camryn Manheim); we have talented actors on here, give them something that makes us stand up and clap and relate to these characters and stop making them one-dimensional, especially ADA Price. I must say Iâve been enjoying the legal side a bit more with the addition of Goldwynâs Baxter, his back-and-forth every week with Price has a feel of the original series run, where we see multiple points of views on cases and it doesnât feel/sound like rhetoric. And speaking of that run, it wouldnât hurt for them to find ways to invest those old characters in the reboot. Just because Sam has departed doesnât mean we still donât want to see old faces or even faces from the other L&O series show up. Elisabeth Rohm (ADA Serena Southerlyn) and Milena Govich (Det. Nina Cassady) have directed episodes! Raul Esparza and Hugh Dancy both starred in Hannibal, I could see former-ADA now Defense Attorney Rafael Barba sitting at the defense table and likely wiping the floor with Price! Tony Goldwyn even wants Mariska Hargitay to direct an episode. Letâs make the mother ship enjoyable to watch again!
It was renewed for a 24th season (4th for the reboot). The mother ship has a second chance at greatness and to continue its legacy on television, not a lot of shows get that. It would be wise that those in charge on mother ship remember that.
SVU â The 25th milestone season ranks as one of the worst.
I originally had a two-page long document on this season of SVU alone and Iâve had to shorten it down and itâs still not that short. But if I had to describe the 25th record-breaking season of SVU in 1 word, that word would be âbad.â There are calls on social media for show runner/executive producer David Graziano to be fired from the series. Iâm not one to openly call for people to lose their jobs, but clearly there is something wrong and the downward spiral of the ratings mixed with bad press for SVU episodes this season is showing that. Nothing about season 25 jumps out as milestone season and there are only a handful of episodes as of now, that I would consider episodes worth going back to watch again: âTunnel Blindâ, âDuty to Reportâ, âProbability of Doomâ, and âChildren of Wolvesâ which was directed by Mariska Hargitay.
Itâs the writing and direction of this season, period. There is no other reason or excuse that flies. There is clearly no investment from the management level behind the scenes at SVU in this milestone season being the best it could have been. The Maddie storyline overtook the season and its resolution didnât exactly hit the mark either. Where is the retrospective? Why havenât we gone over past cases? Seen former victims/survivors (other than 2 minutes worth of Maria from â911â)? Why did Olivia stop seeing Dr. Lindstrom (Bill Irwin)? Where is the âhealing?â The guest stars? We havenât seen any former stars, other than Kelli Giddish (Detective Amanda Rollins), and that proves to me that it was a mistake to fire her in the first place. âWhere is the energy? Where is the spatter? This is life-less dreck. A cheap knock-offâŚâ (diehard SVU fans; if you know, you know). But seriously, nothing about this season overall screams â25 years!â
With the season opener, I was sure David Graziano and the writers turned the page on the mess that was most of the entire 24th season of SVU. Turns out I was wrong to think it. It seems to be doubled down. Itâs proof that despite his behavior, heâs just not a good fit for SVU. He doesnât seem to understand how to write for this show and be the voice of who women/people look up to and the voice that victims and survivors need. I honestly think he would serve better on a Criminal Intent reboot or something since he seems to like that aspect of the crimes more so than investigatory and the legal side â Peter Scanavinoâs screen time has greatly decreased and well as legal scenes.
What can help SVU:
A lot of damage is done, but itâs not irreversible. The best call is to replace the person at the top if they arenât going to change themselves, (sorry but not sorry David). The popular eras of SVU are seasons 3-7 and again 13-17 and for good reason; Neal Baer and Warren Leight remain the two people who have seen SVU at their peaks. Going into a record breaking season 26, someone who can understand the intricacies of SVU needs to take the helm and get this show turned around. Focus needs to be on steadying the storylines and fleshing them out in a meaningful way to where they connect and not have crucial bits just disappear into thin air. We need to get SVUâs focus back on uplifting the voices of victims and survivors and their journeys, as well as to delve deep again into the world of the NYPD SVU squad. Itâs not just about ârape case of the weekâ the actual SVU deals with kidnappings, crimes against the children, the disabled/elderly, working in conjunction with the Hate Crimes unit/federal govt., trafficking and more, letâs get the variety back in the crimes â and letâs stop showing the crime taking place on screen and in graphic manner. The crime scene analysis, forensics, court scenes and legalese needs to be put back into this series, Iâve honestly felt it decrease even before S24 as far back as some S22.
We need to see Carisi navigate through these cases and the back-and-forth with the defense as well as in his own bureau. Weâve yet to see Carisi interact with the district attorney (Jack McCoy, Sam Waterston â now Nick Baxter, Tony Goldwyn) much like his preceding ADAs. Bensonâs character needs to go back to therapy and deal with her issues head on (Lindstrom, Bill Irwin), she had done that up until EDMR in season 24 became her new way and itâs not working for her, since the writers seem to use it now as a crutch to say âsheâs healingâ but then turn around and have her do things to suggest otherwise. Benson also needs to be written as a leader and delegator more so than taking every case away from her âsquadâ and solving them personally. Actually from a story standpoint it would be great to see Benson face repercussions for continually doing this, in the real world that would have consequences as how can she personally investigate cases and run the unit?
And with the unit, their stories need to be dissected more. Velasco (Octavio Pisano) in particular, he had an edge in season 23 as the new guy that might be a snitch for the Chief of Detectives (McGrath, Terry Serpico) but in season 24 they pushed this character into a corner with liking Detective Grace Muncy (Molly Burnett, who departed last season) and the Chilly storyline last season and canât seem to get him out of that corner. Velasco comes off as âjust thereâ much in the way Fin (ICE T) is starting to. And where is Phoebe (Jennifer Esposito)? Detective Bruno and Captain (to-Detective or Chief?) Curry (Kevin Kane and Aime Donna Kelly) are pretty much holding down the squad and are actually the more I look to, to solve the cases and they are the only ones peaking my interest.
SVU is heading to record-breaking season 26, if they want to reach their goal of stopping at 30. Dick Wolf, NBC and those behind the scenes need to get serious about it if that is what they really want. Otherwise, youâre about to have long-time viewers and new viewers alike turning away. Despite what people believe about ever-lasting loyalty, it does have an end date.
What do you think? Do you agree or disagree? Feel free to respond!
Axe throwing competition between detectives and the DA office instead of softball? XP
Omg. Now THAT would be pretty fucking amazing.
Casey would obviously still dominate.
Amanda, being the annie oakley she is, would do pretty well.
Amaro would be all talk & absolutely suck.
Carisi would hope he could show off but honestly would be kinda freaked out & thinks it isnt really safe.
Peter would be up their with Casey kicking ass.
Dodds would do okay, nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible.
Barba would go in with a âyou know this is a terrible idea, right?â And then be completely true to his word & miss every time.
Liv would be somewhere in the middle & by the end sheâs hit at least one bullseye.
I think Kat would also dominate that shit.
But the biggest surprise out of the night is Alex hitting a bullseye on her first try. Everyone says its beginners luck, but she continues to hit it every time & is quietly smug about it.
rafael barba x original female character
âCarmen, can you get me the witness statements for-â Quinn starts to ask as she rushes into her office with cup of iced coffee in hand.Â
âThe photographer case? What we have of the DD-5s from the detectives are on your desk. Mr. Barba is at the precinct now,â she explains.Â
âRemind me to thank him for the invite,â she huffs rhetorically as she enters her office. She shuts the door behind her and throws her work bag on the arm chair that sits right inside the door. Two months sheâs been in Manhattan and sheâs still getting the cold shoulder from the squad and her supposed co-counsel. She dials his cell from her office phone while she glances over the reports from the detectives. He picks up a few rings in.Â
âBarba.â
âYouâre not seriously thinking about filing charges are you?â she asks and can almost hear his eyes rolling through the phone. Her right hand rests on the desk with a pink gel pen in it on a blank legal pad, willing and ready to take notes.
âI thought you would think better of me,â he smirks and mouths her name to Olivia.Â
âI donât and thatâs how I know youâre still helping the squad cook up some convoluted plan to get this guy,â the smirk is wiped right off his face, it was like she had read his mind.Â
âThey either do it with legal counsel observing or the start violating constitutional rights with reckless disregard,â he lowers his voice as he walks into the breakroom of the precinct.
âOr youâre there and they violate someoneâs rights and then youâre also named in the lawsuit. I donât think the cityâs malpractice insurance covers rights violations,â she huffs.
âI appreciate your concern but Iâm doing this,â he grunts and hangs up the phone. She sighs angrily. Sheâs been co-counsel to Barba for three months and theyâve been at each otherâs throats constantly. This time sheâs actually looking out for him and heâs continuing to brush her off.Â
She works the rest of the day quietly, Barba is in and out of his office, leaving her out of the game all day.Â
***
Quinnâs boring and quiet day came to an end later that night while she sat on her couch watching trashy reality television. At a pivotal point in the episode her phone rings next to her, she picks it up with her eyes still glued to the TV.Â
âMac, you wonât believe what happened today,â she says without a second thought. As sheâs about to continue speaking sheâs interrupted by an unexpected voice.
âMiss Brady, itâs Sonny Carisi. Sorry to call you so late,â she sits up straighter from her slouched couch position.Â
âOh Carisi, whatâs up? Barba off playing poker with the Governor?â
âActually maâam, he doesnât know Iâm calling you. But I think you should come down to the precinct. Fin arrested the perp tonight while UC.â
âHe did what?â she all but shouts into the phone, she can feel Carisiâs painful cringe through the device. âIâll be right there,â she seethes as she stands up from her spot on the couch.Â
The ride to the precinct is short and grueling. Only because Quinn attempts avoids any human interaction as a way to spare them from her anger. Steam is essentially blowing out of her ears as she enters the squad room and sets her sights on her co counsel. Her gaze almost as fiery as the color of her hair. Olivia Benson watches as he almost shrinks into the waist code heâs wearing.Â
âAre you fucking serious?â she seethes in front of the whole squad, not bothering to excuse herself and Rafael from the group.Â
âWhat are you doing here?â he asks, looking her casually clothed self up and down. Sheâs donned in loose fitting blue jeans and an oversized white button up; like she just walked off the set of a nineties movie.Â
âI just had a feeling you were going to let them do something unbelievably stupid. And look, I was right,â Sonny takes note of her lack of disclosure as the the actual reason she showed up, he likes to think it was to spare him rather than to make her look good. âI told you to specifically not to do this and here we are.â
âNo offense counselor, but youâre not his boss, nor are you ours,â Olivia speaks up removing her reading glasses to make eye contact.
âYouâre right, but when weâre all named in the lawsuit for constitutional rights violations; it has consequences, career consequences,â her eyes narrow at every team member. Barbaâs smirk is stamped on his face before he even speaks.
âSounds like you have experience counselor.â
âI was a federal attorney after 9/11, yeah Iâve heard about constitutional rights violations,â she says straight faced. âWhat do you plan on doing now that youâve arrested a man with no evidence of wrongdoing?â
âDo what we do best: investigate,â Amaro shrugs his shoulders. She rolls her eyes at him then looks to Barba again.
âWe need to talk. Now,â she leads them to the secluded locker room. As soon as the door shuts sheâs laying into him again. âHow can you not see how bad this is? How did you let them violate him with no evidence? What were you thinking?â
âOkay, I know this is bad, but thereâs some compelling information. Fin arrested him in a sterile torture chamber that had been soundproof. The things he said he wanted to do on those message boards are downright awful. And I was thinking that the kids heâll hurt in the future need to be saved,â he calmly explains while holding her green eyes captive with his. Her breath hitches in her throat before sheâs able to blink free.Â
âWhile that is noble of you, it is not legal. And weâre supposed to be co counsel and you left me in the dark. Now weâre both in this mess and the DA is going to be pissed. We canât keep going on like this, you have to loop me in.â She grunts then removes herself from the room with a huff.
I like the start of the episode but is she gonna go all meredith grey pov thing all the episodes now? it's not bad bad tho just asking
And I knew the possibilities were low but a little hope was still there, instead they really went there and called the baby Nicky uuughh, that baby is adorable, so so cute but a big nope for the name, I feel like they went with their idea and didn't ask Kelli and Peter I fear, she wouldn't have gone there I believe, fuck DG, also who the hell call their kid their ex name?! both of them! Carisi ex was Nicole, Amanda had a fwb situationship with Nick and yeah call him ex is definitely not it lol, but still?? weird af. Carisi has also a cousin called Nikki??! something different maybe?? especially if it stands for Dominick for me, like again? a third? it's so old 'patriarchal' school I don't like it, it's 2024. For me there's no way Amanda and Sonny would have gone for that. This is why I wanted a girl, I feared they were gonna go there and look, they did. Give him is own name. Anywayyyyy baby name rant over, sorry not sorry I needed to get it off my chest. I'm cool now lol.... -ish. Anyway that baby is the cutest tho, he's so them, good choice in casting! let's see how the eyes evolve tho đ did they look blue? i don't remember, with both parents with blue eyes he gotta have blue eyes, 1% of mayyybe green but brown? it gotta be very very very rare.
Also tho, why did they cut half the baptism scene and there was NO SIGHT of the girls???! like why the hell do you call them to be there in both scenes, film them and then you cut them out?? also rude? 3 seconds of their back running doesn't count. but oh Noah had to go on a tangent about the baby, at least this time he didn't interrupt the scene. I wanted the girls to talk about their brother, a 'dad' line maybe, a family of 5 little scene at the party. We got more bts than product filmed ffs. At least we got a damn good Rollisi sceneđđ I missed them soooo much it's been a year without them. To bad they had spoiled all the scene already. I miss them already. One good thing is, if they're going with Rollins-Carisi I love it?! I always prefer when they include both names especially in het relationships, and not making it all about the man, I like 'Rollins', Amanda made her name a good one she fought to be better and defy the legacy of her father name, I would hate to lose it.
Thankfully! Amanda Rollins and the Rollivia scene saved the episode, I absolutely adored LOVED their scene, Amanda first concern: How is Liv đđ and Liv opens up only with herđ, this kind of talk was like their usual talks in her office, when Amanda would knock, come in, ask how she was and the talk would unravel. I missed this. And here as soon as she started talking about the case Amanda went into detective mode, -investigating thinking face activated-! adfghjkljhgfdsfghjk the OUR PERP, Liv face đ, her 'when are you coming back' face lol. Also 'Don't make me miss you more than I already do' I'm dead! we all thought that!! This is so so telling tho bitch come back soon, Liv misses you, that team definitely misses you and your brain. Too many men, it's not acceptable! and I don't want random rotating female detectives just to fill the spot (they could have kept Churlish tho??), women are not interchangeable thank you, we need Amanda back! the scene says it all, again. Also also also, holy shit Amanda/Kelli she was soooo hot in that scene, like wow. Blouse, pants, hair everything perfect! this was filmed during the 'lil boo thang dance video' right?!đđ
Also I love the idea that Liv didn't even bat an eye when she goes all 'Carisi told you about the dolls right?' like it's a given that Amanda knows everything about the cases anyway lol. Does Amanda grill her husband when he comes home in the evening?! đđ "Tell me everything about the case, I'm listening (I'm bored I need a challenge)" so if this is what happens there's no way Carisi doesn't know she's bored and miss SVU, come on, like Liv, he knows her the best, he's just waiting for her to come clean I believe, and I get it, maybe she doesn't want to burst the bubble, also with baby number 3 challenge added, and probably the writers want us to see the moment it happens and with this strike it prolonged everything, I will accept the fact that they haven't talk already as long as they really show it tho, because it needs to happens, she wants back! and she's so needed!
watching next week promo tho, Amanda can skip this one, she had already enough danger drama thanks lol
the last but not the least, McGrath gotta go, ASAP, persona non grata, give me back Garland, hell even Dodds was way better. If a character like that doesn't evolve and doesn't learn and doesn't gets better after 3 seasons... he gotta go. Actually he's getting worse.
Ya know, putting aside all the personal storyline on SVU,
if Carisi was still a detective, given the way he kept improving his skills and showing how great of a cop he was, I think he would have been promoted to 2nd grade within S21 or S22.
Of course I'm glad Rollisi is endgame and it was cause he left NYPD.
I still miss him as a cop and be a higher rank than 3rd.
I do miss Detective Carisi sometimes - especially when I rewatch old episodes - but I think what I really miss is the writers actually using him properly. He had so much more character when he was a detective, other than his scenes with Amanda it feels like he's not allowed to be anything but Serious Lawyer a lot of the time. He definitely would've been promoted - but I think they often forget about promoting the characters in that way, hence WL promoting Amanda when he came back as showrunner.
Acting Like Teenagers
Here is the next chapter for Dating App. Things get a little more heated between Rafael and Miss Librarian.
Warnings: Nothing much, a little heavy petting and make out session.
Master List
Prompt List
One , Two , Three , Five , Six , Seven , Eight, Nine, Ten
So far it had been a boring day at the library but it was looking to shape up a little. You had just gotten about six boxes and if they were what you were hoping? Well, you were just about jumping in excitement. You had managed to convince the boss to allow a monthly theme, chosen by different staff members to start with and then allowing the public to have a say, where you would have a table or two dedicated to books that matched the theme. There would also be some activities throughout the month as well, aimed to provide people with the opportunity to learn more about whatever the theme was. Since you had come up with the idea you had been given the first month. Your chosen theme was Mythology, specifically Greek.
The boxes were some decorations as well as some new books and you were about to have a day filled with making the tables as well as starting to prepare the some of the activities. You had already handed out a list of the activities you and a few other librarians had brainstormed. Which included some amazing colouring in pictures of the Greek Gods and Goddesses, as well as some demi-gods with a few pieces of information about them. An adult activity planned later in the month was a trivia night, coming in costume optional but highly encouraged. Without even thinking you pulled out your phone taking a picture of the first box you had opened.
âI am about to have an entire month geeking out over books inspired by or that have some Greek Mythology themes, plus getting to teach kids about the stories of the Gods and GoddessâŚthough highly edited to make them child friendly!â
You sent that message to Rafael along with the photo. You paused for a moment, realising that the first thing you wanted to do when you found out these boxes where for your monthly book theme was share your excitement with Rafael. You drummed your fingers on the box in-front of you trying to decide to if you wanted to deal with that particular realisation or leave it. You sighed as you opened the next box, mind still juggling the two options before the title of a book caught your eye and the excitement was back tenfold allowing you to happily ignore everything else.
--
âI am about to have an entire month geeking out over books inspired by or that have some Greek Mythology themes, plus getting to teach kids about the stories of the Gods and GoddessâŚthough highly edited to make them child friendly!â
Rafael felt his phone vibrate against his leg as he stood in the squad room, listening to the detectives run through the latest update in the current case. He pulled it out, the detectives very use to him doing so, he looked down at it, smiling the moment he saw your name. That smile softening from the excited upturn when he read your message, he could imagine the way your eyes would light up when you opened he boxes and if you had been speaking these words how your hands would have been gesturing excitedly around you. Rafael hadnât even noticed that Amanda had stopped speaking, drawing everyoneâs attention to him, all of them sharing looks when they saw the way he was looking at his phone.
âCounsellor?â Carisi asked. Rafael forced his eyes away from his phone, the look dropping away from his face in a second when he realised that they had all seen it.
âWhoâs on the other end?â Finn asked leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms over his chest.
âI have no idea what you are insinuating,â Rafael tried to deflect. âRollins, you were saying?â
âIt can wait,â Amanda grinned. âIâve seen you pull a lot of faces Barba, but never one like that. Plus, the fact that Liv prevented us from contacting you the other night.â
âAnd yesterday at lunch we also were not allowed to call you,â Â Nick added. Finn and Carisi nodded along, while Olivia was standing back. Rafael had spent the better part of yesterday afternoon filling her in on both dates he had with the you. She had to stop herself from overreacting at times, she had no idea that Rafael could be so adorable. She really wanted to meet you, if only to see Rafaelâs reactions to you in person. And maybe sneak a few photos.
âSometimes, I hate how good you all are,â he grumbled. âIt was someone I have been on two dates with. She messaged me about something sheâs doing at the library she works at, sheâs excited about it and wanted to share it.â
âShe seems adorable from what Rafael has told me,â Liv finally interjected. âAnd sheâs very pretty. Will keep him on his toes thatâs for sure.â
âOkay now I need to know everything,â Amanda grinned taking a seat next to Finn. Â
âWe do have a case,â Rafael gestured to the boards around them. âShouldnât we focus on that?â
âWeâll get back to that,â Finn unsurprisingly added his voice to the conversation, his grin speaking volumes. Even Nick and Carisi were sitting there with grins on their faces, Rafael sighed knowing full well that if he wanted to get back on track he would have to talk.
âFine,â he agreed. âJust one moment.â He looked back down at his phone, your message still opened there. The team all shared a look, grinning at each other the minute Rafaelâs face changed back to that adorable soft expression.
âYouâll have to tell me all about it at lunch. I expect photo updates, Miss Librarian.â
--
You had just finished unboxing the first two boxes you had opened, making sure to correctly catalogue them and mark them off against the invoice. You had started separating them into different piles for each of the planned activities and the books. Â There was another pile of some of the decorations you would be taking home to work on, some drawings to colour in, some posters and banners to put together and paint. You were excited. You had just started opening the next box when your phone lit up from where it was on the table.
âYouâll have to tell me all about it at lunch. I expect photo updates, Miss Librarian.â
âFuck this man,â you muttered. âHow can he be this amazing?â
âOoh, you talking about the man you went on that date with?â your friend Lily asked as she came into the storage room.
âYes,â you whined. âHe likes how I get excited about books and he didnât look bored when I rambled to him. I sent him a photo telling him about the plans for this month and he said Iâll have to tell him about it.â
âYou lucked out with him,â she said. âIâve had no luck with men. How old is he?â
âWell, heâs 45,â you said twisting a strand of hair around your finger.
âOoh girl, Iâm so proud you didnât change the age range,â Lily nudged you with her shoulder. âHave you matched with any other interesting men?â
âNo idea,â you shrugged. âI didnât look at any of them after matching with Rafael and since we exchanged numbers after dinner the other night I havenât even looked at the app, even turned off notifications for it.â
âOoh, you got it bad for him already huh?!â she gushed.
âIt definitely seems that way, I mean the first thing I wanted to do after opening these boxes was message him, which I did with zero thought,â you blushed a little admitting that. âPlus, well, our first kiss was pretty fiery, even as tame as it was cause we were in public. I mean the man also kissed my knuckles after our first date, at which he also pulled out my chair and helped me out of my coat and then back into it. And he says what he thinks, he literally ran to meet me for our second date, apologising for being late, even though he messaged me telling me he would and it was only ten minutes.â
âTake a breath,â Lily laughed. âFiery huh? Thought you didnât believe in that kinda stuff.â
âWell, Rafael might have me rethinking it,â you grinned.
âMaybe I need to increase my age range,â Lily said tapping her chin in thought.
âI mean it might be worth it,â you agreed.
âWhen are you seeing him next?â Lily asked helping you with the next box.
âTomorrow, for lunch,â you answered looking back at your phone. âJust gonna respond to him, let me take a photo of what we have. He wanted photo updates.â
âSounds like heâs got it bad as well,â Lily giggled hoping out of the way to let you take a shot of what you had pulled out so far.
âIâm looking forward to it. You might regret telling me to send photo updates, Iâm notorious for sending a lot! Hereâs the loot from the first two boxes!â you attached the images and sent the messages.
âAlright, I want all the details while we finish this,â Lily informed you. âSo get talking.â
âSo pushy!â you laughed. âAlright, well, his name is Rafael, heâs an ADA for the Special Victims Unit.â
âWait, Special Victims, they deal with sexual based crimes donât they?â Lily interrupted.
âYeah, he said it was confronting but rewarding work,â you nodded. âHe warned about long and hectic working hours in his profile but Iâm not bothered. The work he does is important.â
âVery important, so can we assume from that that he is potentially a feminist?â Lily asked. âWhich I think is important.â
âI also think thatâs important,â you nodded. âI havenât asked him but I have a feeling he might be. He asked if he could kiss me before he did, which I know doesnât automatically make him a feminist but I figure its a good sign.â
âHm, weâll gather some more evidence before making a final decision,â Lily determined. âAlright, keep going!â
You shook your head in amusement at your friend but obliged her none the less. Rafael had Liv, and you had Lily, it had been with her that you had had one too many cocktails and downloaded the app that lead to you Rafael so you figure she should get some details.
--
Rafael was sitting at his dinning table, taking a break from his work. He was trying to work out if it would be worth it booking somewhere for lunch tomorrow. After he had filled in the team things had suddenly became hectic as another victim turned up. He had hoped that you two would be able to meet at a cafĂŠ but he really hoped that you meant it when you said you were happy to have lunch at his office. He had just picked up his phone to message you when a series of alerts popped up. All messages from you. One quick text and a number of photos.
âKeeping my promise of photo updates.â The first photos included pictures of potential ways you were thinking of displaying the books. The next series were photos that looked like they were taken in your living room, it showed banners and posters with some of the Greek Gods and Goddesses, half of them painted and the others blank. One included a photo of you with a paint brush and some paint on your nose as you held up a completed picture, a proud look on your face. Rafael laughed as he saved that photo, putting in the folder with the photo you had sent the day of your first date.
âThey all look amazing, you didnât mention you enjoy painting,â Rafael sent back. He bit his lips before sending another photo. âI hope you are alright with me saving some of the photos you have sent.â
God he hoped he hadnât made a mistake.
--
You had just finished the banner you would be putting up at the entrance of the library. You somehow gotten a little paint on your face, but instead of removing it you left it there, knowing that you would somehow get more paint on yourself, as you always did whenever you painted. You sat your brush to the side, to start cleaning up but before you could start your phone vibrated.
âThey all look amazing, you didnât mention you enjoy painting.â
You smiled as you read Rafaelâs message. You were about to start responding when another message came through.
âI hope you are alright with me saving some of the photos you have sent.â
You grinned at his confession, you thought it was cute that he wanted to save your photos, you figured he meant the photo you sent of you in the park and most likely the selfie you just sent. You werenât bothered by him saving them but you liked that he didnât hide it.
âThank you, I donât do it often but I enjoy it, mostly I just paint landscapes. Iâm fine with you doing that, so long as I can do that same if you send me any photos.â
--
âThank you, I donât do it often but I enjoy it, mostly I just paint landscapes. Iâm fine with you doing that, so long as I can do that same if you send me any photos.â
Rafael grinned at your response, he found himself wanting to watch you paint. Maybe he could suggest going back to where you guys had a hot chocolate in the park so you could paint the trees, maybe even that bridge. And he was happy that once again he hadnât made a wrong move with you. He stared at the last part of your message, he realised that for all you two had messaged each other he hadnât sent you any photos. He didnât tend to think to take any, hell all of his photos on the app had been ones that Liv had taken. But at this moment he wanted to send you something, he glanced at himself in the mirror his hair was a little dishevelled, and he still had part of his suit on, he had removed the jacket and unbuttoned his vest, with his suspenders showing underneath, his tie was loosened and he had unbuttoned several of his shirt buttons. Since his last two risks had proven to be good ideas he trusted this risk would be the same.
âI would like to see any, if you let others view them. It wouldnât be fair for me to deny you the chance to save photos of me, when you allow me.â He sent that with a photo attached.
--
You had just finished cleaning up, scrubbing the paint off of your face and your hands when his next message came through. You almost dropped your phone when your saw the photo he had attached. You thought he was handsome at dinner, you thought him distractingly charming at your second date. But at this very second you thought him insanely and unfairly sexy. He wasnât as put together as you were use to, but you thought it suited him, plus the fact that you could see the suspenders under the vest he wore and his shirt had enough buttons undone that you could see some chest hair. You immediately saved that photo. You finally read the message he had sent with the photo.
âI would like to see any, if you let others view them. It wouldnât be fair for me to deny you the chance to save photos of me, when you allow me.â
You never really let others see your work, but maybe you could eventually allow Rafael to see some of your pieces. You found your eyes focusing back on the photo as the kiss you shared with him kept replaying. You honestly hoped that lunch would be at his office tomorrow so you could kiss him again, without having to worry about the public. As you were looking at the photo again another message of his popped up.
âI think lunch might have to be at my office tomorrow if you are still okay with that. This case has just become a little hectic.â
âWell, this works quite nicely for me,â you grinned. âNow the question is do I buy something or make it?â You had a quick look in your fridge and pantry to see if you had something that could be made and eaten cold. You could keep it in the fridge at the library and carry it the lunch bag you got with a block. You had the ingredients for your chicken, pasta salad. Perfect. You pulled your phone out to respond to his message about lunch. You decided you would bring up the photo then
âAbsolutely, still okay with that. Iâll make something for our lunch then.â
--
You double checked the address Rafael had given you for his office before walking into the rather intimidating building. You wore some snug jeans, a sweater with the front tucked in and a leather jacket over it. You had a beanie on and a scarf to deal with the cold as you travelled from the library to his office, you had a little make up which you didnât normally do for work, however you forewent lipstick. You carried the lunch you had prepared for Rafael in your little lunch tote. Â Â
âCan I help you?â a gorgeous woman questioned you as you looked around checking to make sure you were in the right place. This building was massive and you had almost gotten lost trying to find Rafaelâs office.
âOh, um, Iâm meant to be having lunch with Rafael?â you lifted your tote up a little. âIâm-â
âChica,â Rafaelâs voice interrupted you as he walked out of his office to greet you. âThanks Carmen, you can go for lunch.â
Carmen smiled at the both of you as she clicked a few buttons on the phone and the computer before leaving. You turned to give Rafael your full attention and you were not prepared. Rafael was in a full dark blue suit, with a silver tie and vest to complete the look, his hair was perfectly styled. He was in his element and he was even more attractive for it.
âHey,â you didnât mean for your voice to sound so breathy but this man just kept knocking you for four. An image of you running your fingers through his hair, messing it up as you finally got him to let that fire you had seen a few times in his eyes loose ran through your head, causing your cheeks to heat.
âHello you,â he grinned taking a closer step to you, his hand raising but stopping before touching you, a question in his eyes. You stepped closer, moving so his hand was sitting on your waist and tilted your head a little looking up at him from under your lashes, he squeezed your hip gently as he placed a kiss on your cheek. âCome inside.â
His hand moved from your hip to the small of your back as he lead you into his office, closing the door behind you. Your eyes widened a little at it, his desk sat in between two windows with a bookshelf filled with fancy looking books behind it. It was covered with folders, papers and books. There were several other windows along the wall opposite the entrance letting in plenty of natural light. The office was neat and tidy. Rafael led you to a couch just inside the door with a coffee table in-front of it, and laying on it was a dozen yellow daffodils. You stopped just short of the table, mouth opened in a small âoâ, as you turned to look at Rafael as he took your lunch tote from your hand, placing it on the table to pick up the flowers.
âFor you,â he smiled a little shy. âI know you said you were fine with having lunch here but regardless.â
âRafael, theyâre lovely,â you took the flowers from him, stepping close to place a kiss on his cheek before smelling them. âThank you.â
âOnly the loveliest for you,â he said, a flood of heat hit your cheeks at that. The two of you sat close on the couch as you placed the flowers back on the coffee table.
âI made a chicken pasta salad, I hope thatâs okay?â you asked starting to pull out the containers and some forks, as well as some drinks. âI also picked up some lemonade.â
âThatâs perfect,â he grinned picking up the container you placed in-front of him smelling the food. âSmells delicious. Thank you for making this.â
âItâs not a problem, I enjoy cooking for people,â you told him taking a bite. The creamy sauce perfectly balanced against the seasoning you had used on the chicken. âEspecially people who gift me with aâŚdistractingly gorgeous photo the night before.â You hadnât noticed that Rafael had taken a bite of food until he coughed before taking a mouthful of lemonade. âSorry.â
âYou donât sound it, chica,â Rafael coughed. You finally looked at him but couldnât tell if the red in his cheeks was from inhaling his food or your comment. âDistractingly gorgeous?â
âHmm,â you nodded. âAlmost dropped my phone.â
âSorry,â Rafael shrugged.
âSound so sincere counsellor,â you laughed nudging him with your shoulder before slumping back against the couch, grinning at Rafael as he looked at you over his shoulder, his eyes roamed over you taking in how comfortable you looked in his office. You had taken your jacket off and placed it on the coat rack without prompting. He followed your example and sat back, the side of his body pressed tightly against yours. The warmth from him sent a curl of pleasure through you, settling just behind your stomach.
âI take it you saved it?â Rafael asked after eating a few mouthfuls.
âOh quicker than you could blink,â you admitted, you decided to be even more open and honest than you normally would. Rafael deserved it after all the open honesty he had shown you. âIt was very distracting. To be honest, I hoped you would tell me lunch would have to be here.â
âReally?â Rafael asked, eyebrow raised. You watched him eat for a few moments, taking a little pride in the look of satisfaction on his face as he enjoyed your meal. You waited for him to swallow his next bite before answering, not wanting to cause him to choke again.
âYep,â you popped the âpâ. âBecause, I didnât want to bring the photo up over text andâŚI was hoping for another kissâŚâyou trailed off as Rafael froze with a forkful of chicken and pasta half way to his mouth. He sat forward on the couch putting the container down and took a drink from his lemonade, before he turned to face you still sitting forward. He reached to take your container from your hands, both mostly empty of the meal. He took hold of your hands, bringing them to his mouth to trail kisses down your fingers and across your palms, he stopped to mouth at your wrist, his eyes never leaving yours. A fire starting to burn in those green orbs. The heat inside you started to build, the warmth flooding your veins.
âAnother kiss?â he smirked. âAnd you wanted that to specifically happen in my office because?â
âYou really need to ask that?â you replied, pointedly looking at where he was still lacing your wrist with kisses. He removed his mouth from your wrist, lips curling at the edges.
âYou want a little more then the first time?â he continued to tease. Your breath had kicked up a notch, you canât remember the last time something so little as kisses on your wrist and a look had you so worked up. You nodded, unable to get your voice to work. Rafael tsked as he reached out to cup your cheek, one of your hands still trapped in his. âWords, Amor. I need you to use your words.â
âYes,â you whispered, pleasure curling to a throb in your pussy, his voice was soft and gentle, but still a little dominant. A perfect combination. âI want a kiss that would be indecent in public.â
âYour wish is my command,â he growled leaning close to you.
His hand moved from your cheek to rest on the side of your throat, his thumb stretched enough to tilt your head up. The hand still holding yours placed your hand on his shoulder, freeing his hand to hold your waist. You wrapped both your arms around his shoulders drawing him closer with an impatient whine when he just hovered above you. Rafael grinned for a second before he claimed your lips. The angel was a little awkward, given that he was still a little forward on the couch not wanting to overcrowd you. The kiss was definitely more passionate then the first, the hand on your waist squeezed in time with the little noises he pulled from you as he alternated between kisses and little nips to your bottom lip. He ran his tongue along yours, asking for permission without breaking away from you. You grinned into the kiss as you parted your lips, a moan pulled from the both of you the kiss deepened. You wanted more. You surged forward, trying not to break the kiss, your hand coming up to run through his hair as he wrapped his arms around your waist. He allowed his body to fall back against the couch pulling you with him, you swung a leg over his lap to straddle him
âRafael,â you moaned as he broke the kiss. His hands trailed up and down your back as he started to kiss along your jaw, being careful not to leave any marks. You tilted your head to the side giving him more access to your neck as he started kissing down it until he got to the collar of your sweater where he started kissing along the skin just above the collar and back up your neck nipping briefly at your ear lobe. You pulled at his hair drawing his mouth away from your neck, you crashed your lips back to his, the passion and heat building as Rafael slipped a hand under your sweater and the other moved down to squeeze at your ass. You ground down in his lap, pulling a rough groan from his chest before he pulled away staring up at you.
âChica, I still have meetings after this lunch,â he chuckled. âI have to look presentable.â
âSuch a shame counsellor, Iâm sure you can calm down but your hair might be a little harder to fix,â you grinned kissing him on the nose as you tried to fix the mess you had made of his hair.
âHm, not so sure I can, what with you so nicely perched on my lap like this,â his voice was husky filled with lust to match his black blown eyes. But there was a soft look in them as his hands moved to cup your face, his thumbs stroking along your cheeks, before he moved to nuzzle his nose against yours. His hands sliding down to hold your hips, as he pressed a quick kiss to your lips.
âIt would appear we are at an impasse,â you giggled as you smoothed your hands down his chest. âI also need to tell you something.â You pressed a kiss to each of his cheeks. âYou look very handsome today.â You leant your forehead against his. âAnd I have greatly been enjoying each time we meet. And each time we message. Yesterday when I sent you that message I didnât even think about it, I just knew that I wanted to share my excitement.â
âAmor,â Rafael whispered, his eyes staring up at you in wonder at your statement. âI have found myself looking forward to hearing from you. To finding a reason to message you, and find a way to be able to see you.â
You grinned down at him, your whole body warm from the happiness that surge through you. You had hoped that you werenât alone in how you felt, and to hear him say it, it made you insanely happy. You pressed your lips to his again, over and over, giggling a little as Rafaelâs hands tightened on your hips. You felt his lips curl into a smile against yours as you slowed the kisses down, claiming his lips in a slow sensual dance. His hands moved to run up and down your thighs, causing a shiver to move through you, as they grabbed at you.
âRafi,â you whispered as you pressed your lips to his jaw before running your nose along his jaw nuzzling into him. âIâm-â you were interrupted by a nock on the door.
âMr Barba,â Carmenâs voice called through the closed door. âYouâre next appointment is here.â The two of you pulled apart, a look of shock on both your faces.
âGive me five minutes Carmen,â Rafael answered his hands back on your hips as he gently nudged you back. âSorry, Chica, times up.â
âPity,â you pouted but moved off of him, straightening your sweater before you started packing up the lunch you brought him. His arms wrapped around your waist, lips pressing a sweet kiss to your neck as he squeezed you close.
âIâll message you as I can throughout the day,â he promised as you turned in his arms.
âHmm, thatâs sweet,â you smiled at him. âIâll take what I can, but I understand how busy you are.â
âYou are already too good to me,â he released you to try and fix his own appearance, sending you a wink as he flattened his hair. You took your jacket back folding it over an arm that held the flowers, your tote bag hanging in the crook on your elbow, as Rafael walked you to the door, pressing one last kiss to your lips. âIâll see you soon.â
âReal soon,â you agreed. âDonât work yourself to hard, Rafi.â You squeezed his hand before he opened the door.
You walked out with him on your heels, you could feel his eyes following you as you past by a large man in a suit who was holding a briefcase. You felt your phone vibrate in your pocket as you left the building. The flowers continuously drawing your eyes, the warmth of happiness never leaving you.
âYou still need to tell me all about your theme at the library, Chica, I hope I will be able to arrange a time where we can have dinner again.â
You grinned all the way back to the library, you needed to speak with Lily. You were tossing around the idea of asking him over to your apartment for dinner. Wondering if maybe it was too early to ask if he wanted to stay the night but if your little make out session was anything to go by it wasnât.
If only that could be Kat who teases her as 'Detective Carisi', she totally would have done it lol! Or she probably would have called Sonny 'Counselor Rollins' đ¤Łđ¤Ł
Fin's teased them with that "oh so you were making dinner" back in season 17. And we totally missed out on him teasing them (at least on screen) when they finally did get together - so like I just need it to be Fin.
Especially since Fin was her first partner and he's been there through everything. Her gambling, the bullshit with Nate, whatever the Nick thing was, Patton. He has literally seen Amanda at her literally worse and has always had her back (even with Liv didn't). Aside from Liv and Carisi, Fin is one of her most important relationships.
Now just because of the relationship they had while Kat was still there, I could 1000% see her calling Carisi "Counselor Rollins"
25x11 Prima Nocta
It makes absolutely no sense that Rollins was just full on working the case and there during the rape kit and all that.
I do not care.
It was awesome to have her back. I loved the episode.
The conversations with Carisi, with Liv, her walking back in and just hitting the ground running, the group discussing the case back and forth in the squad room, the not knowing who the perp was for so long. Good shit good shit good shit.
The UC to catch the perp was written kinda weird though? I mean. The initial set up was good and kinda cute, with Rollins and Carisi working it together (even if ridiculous that a {sort of but maybe not??} non-detective and the ADA are the ones going under) but the UC bit specifically when the perp showed up at the room was just...off. It seemed like they were setting up catching him in the act, and okay no? They're really just trying to get the DNA instead? But then no one else seemed to be aware of that part of the plan but Amanda so. That was weird. Made it the weakest bit of the episode for me.
And the end conversation with Liv was a bit confusing, too. Did they think there were gonna have her (Kelli) back and then got word that they were not or word that they don't know yet at least and so then had to do a quick edit or something? Or are they're setting up a sort of consulting thing? Or... Just confusing to spend a whole episode obviously setting up a return and then to be like nah, Rollins doesn't really want to be back at SVU and Olivia thinks it's not what she really wants. Unless they're gonna move her to Original Flavor or OC???? But hell, a lot of the fun of having her back in this episode was how she interacted with this squad, both the OGs and the Newbies.
So. I just. ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
It's also kinda weird/sad that 1) 5 people is a full squad with no room for additions. Sure miss the days of Season one where 5 were just the detectives we followed but there were several other detectives obviously working cases in the background. 2) part of that full squad is a Captain (with the captain of the unit also full on working cases like a detective haha) and an on-loan FBI agent, so no spot for someone with an actual rank of detective lolololol
OC 4x11 Redcoat
It's kind of weird, in a lot of ways OC is a way more solid show than SVU this season. The writing is really good, the acting is really good. And yet...I just don't enjoy or care about it as much.
And I'm still really sad that Sam is dead. I don't want to get attached to newbies on SVU 'cause they'll just disappear (where did Churlish gooooo) and I don't want to get attached to newbies on OC 'cause they'll just die.
Glad the ATF lady didn't die. I'm kind of surprised at how much I've grown to like Randall; I'm digging his relationship with Elliot. But since we are doing more with his family, wish we got to see more of his kids. Especially Kathleen and Eli. Which I guess is kind of funny to say when we did briefly see Eli this episode. And what the heck are they planning with him and his big news... Maybe someday Lizzie will even get to speak! That'd be nice.
Joe Jr. is gonna do something stupid and get himself killed is my prediction and Elliot is gonna blame himself and...hope I'm wrong. Kind of tired of people dying all the time in OC and Elliot spiraling. Then again, I'm kind of tired of him doing long stints UC too (tired of the frequent spiraling and the running away into other personas and him never even being close to available for his family) and that's the whole premise of the show so I guess there's why I don't enjoy or care about it as much. Huh.
It made me laugh that Elliot has no idea that Kyle is Vargas. Though it was really weird that no one from OC brought him up to speed on that part of the investigation and it's Randall giving him the run down.
#svu#oc#svu prima nocta#oc redcoat#seriously happy to see rollins again and especially her friendship with liv. i want that back on a regular basis
