Healthcare, workers' rights, and the like are what the left needs to hyper-focus on in conversations with conservatives. Socialist/leftist ideas are actually extremely popular with most conservatives... as long as you don't actually label them as that.
The ultra-rich have pumped billions of dollars into mouthpieces like Ben Shapiro, whose role is to disseminate propaganda and convince people that all of their woes are because of *insert minority group scapegoat here* instead of capitalism and the 1%. The best way to reach those people is to talk about leftist ideals while presenting them as "common sense" and apolitical (which they should be anyway!).

But also bringing these forward:
#this isn't the first time Ben has pissed off his audience btw#earlier this year he ran his mouth about how#'we need to raise the age of retirement. nobody needs to retire at 65 unless they have a medical issue'#most of the comments blew him tf up because unlike Ben they have actual jobs and would like to be able to eventually stop working#whereas Ben gets paid millions of dollars by oil billionaires to sit in front of a camera and react to social media posts#I saw something similar happen with Steven Crowder when he made a post about how Labor Day is stupid and woke or whatever#and every single comment was like 'I enjoy having a free day off to spend with my family because I work hard.'#'Why should I listen to you about this topic when you work way less than I do at a way easier job?'#anyway yeah this all comes back to the class war#remind these people who their REAL enemy is at every opportunity#politics#ben shapiro#leftism
