You have always considered yourself a lucky person but you don’t know if you would call this luck. A ghostly form of a beautiful woman floats in front of you. You can literally see the outline of your living room through her.

“Um…hello?” you probably shouldn’t be talking to her.

Talking to ghosts is not a good idea. Whether that’s because it’s a sign that you’re losing it or that because ghosts are always depicted as vengeful remains to be seen.

“Hello, dear,” she flashes you a brilliant, sharp smile, “The name’s Agatha Harkness. It’s lovely to finally meet you. A few centuries late but I won’t hold it against you.”

You continue to stare dumbly at her.

“I know this is shocking. Your soulmate’s a ghost. Dead. But,” she waves her hand in little flourish, “Soon to be undead. So no need to panic, dear.”

“Undead as in…?” your mouth is moving but your mind is still stuck on what you’re looking at.

“Oh, no. None of that nonsense,” she assures you. “I’ll be back to my former glory,” her hands run down her sides and your eyes following without your permission. 

You finally process what she originally said.

“Wait, soulmate?”

She tilts her head.

“You don’t know,” she says.

“That I can see dead people? No, that’s news to me,” you hallucinating is also news to you. And soulmates. You need to make a list.

“Unexpected,” she murmurs to herself and then floats around you in a circle, gazing up and down your form. “Your magic is strong enough to manifest. You should have noticed something, surely. You need to be on your toes when dealing with me, darling.”

“Well, I’ve noticed a ghost. So, that’s something.”

“Anything a bit earlier?”

“Uh…” you need to get a bit more coherent if you want to keep talking to her. “I’m lucky.”

“Lucky?”

“Yeah. Like, supernaturally.”

“Strange,” she gives you another analysing look. “That’s not the usual way magic manifests itself.”

“Magic?”

“You are talking to a ghost, dear,” she says dryly.

“Right,” that has yet to fully sink in.

“That’s time,” a reedy teenager says, walking casually into the room like he isn’t breaking into you place.

Agatha looks annoyed at the interruption. You look between the teenager and the ghost.

“You can see her?” you ask faintly.

“Unfortunately,” he says.

“Great. Okay,” you run your hand down your face. “And who are you?”

“Billy,” he says simply.

You know what you should do. What’s rational. But magic would explain a lot about your life. 

There’s also the draw you feel towards Agatha, but since that is so extremely irrational you’re not currently taking it into consideration.

“We really do need to go,” the teen says apologetically.

Making a snap decision, you go looking for your keys.

“It’s not like I have anything better to do,” you lie.

“Oh, goody. Now we don’t have to deal with your awful driving,” Agatha says to Billy.

“I’m a great driver and you know it,” Billy says.

Agatha doesn’t acknowledge it. 

“I’ll meet you at the car,” she winks at you, clicks her fingers, and disappears.

Everything Is Alright Pt 134

IDW Starscream x Reader, Soundwave x Reader, Megatron x Reader

• “You realize Starscream is likely to take you sparking our mate without warning poorly,” Megatron adds and Soundwave vents softly. Watching as Soundwave shifts over you and slides a hand under your middle to make you whimper a sleepy protest at being moved. Hates that the soft noise lifts through him. That he likes it. And then Soundwave is mass shifting back, head sagging forward as his hands tremble faintly cupping you. Needing energon. Your head sleepily lifts before you spot him and then just groan, pressing your face against Soundwave’s palm. ‘Always when I’m naked,’ you mutter. Laughing softly, Megatron ignores that you’re not happy to see him. Pretends that it doesn’t bother him. That even though this is his habsuite, he feels like the intruder as Soundwave fixes his plating to hide away his spike and Megatron reaches to nudge your head until you shoot him a sullen look.

• Swallowing a growl and surprised that he even has the urge to growl at Megatron, Soundwave doesn’t pull you away from Megatron’s reach as the warlord smirks at your attempts to slap at his servo. Lazily toying with you. And he knows the Seeker is likely to throw a tantrum as soon as he finds out, but he can’t even bring himself to care if he upsets Starscream after what the mech had done to him and you both. “What happened to not molesting me?” You ask, smacking Megatron when he uses a servo to roll you onto your back. Growling softly, Soundwave moves you away from the warlord and Megatron shoots him a knowing look, but relents.

• Scowling and desperately wanting a shower, you try to draw your legs up against yourself so everything isn’t just on display even if you can feel Soundwave’s slick between your thighs, too used to all three of them not caring about embarrassing you to even muster the energy to care yourself. Much anyway. And eventually, Megatron is probably going to want more than spark bonding from you. “I wonder which of you is going to tell Starscream you’re sparked. Or will you just let him figure it out on his own?” Megatron asks, grinning wickedly like your misery is the funniest thing ever. Sparked? That’s right. Paling, you remember Soundwave asking and you’d pretty much begged him to. Was that what that coaxing feeling was after you fully bonded with him? Star had done something like that when he’d sparked you now that you’re thinking of it. There had been a sense of a question there like when they’d bonded you fully. Like there was a choice before that coaxing pull. Both times you’d given in to that request without a thought. Why can’t any of them ask important things when you’re not a needy mess during sex? “Of course, I could tell him,” Megatron adds. Enjoying this far too much.

• “Don’t you dare,” you hiss, little face reddening and Megatron chuckles. Ferocious little thing even though you have no way to back up the unspoken threat in your voice. And that anger of yours sparks through him. Goes straight to his spike in a flush of need. Reminding him that even though he’s fully bonded to you and carrying your new spark, he’s yet to physically claim you. Smile faltering at that, he clears his vents in a loud huff. “You blurt it out to him and I’ll never forgive you.” Chin lifting, you glare at him and he can’t understand what it is about you that makes your pitiful little threat actually matter to him.

• Star. Not looking forward to his reaction to finding out you’re fully bonded and sparked again, even though he seemed resigned to it happening. It still feels like a betrayal. Shoulders hunching, you look pleadingly up at Soundwave. Because you have to be the one to tell him. Gently. “I need a shower. And I’d kill for coffee,” you whine, not about to have this conversation with Star while Soundwave’s excess trails down your thighs. Head tipping at you, Soundwave just stares, but it’s not like he has a clue what coffee even is. ‘The shower part I can help with,’ Megatron says, gesturing toward his desk and you register the plastic draped shape tucked in a corner there. ‘The Constructicons had a few ideas.’ Watching him curiously as he gets up and reaches to tug the plastic away, you just stare. It’s a dollhouse. A human sized dollhouse. “There’s a working shower?” Because nothing else matters beyond a shower and some semblance of privacy. “I could kiss you,” you add and he hesitates like you’d just said something weird. Offended him somehow. Aliens.

Joshua was accustomed to drowning the most condemnable thoughts about himself in alcohol, gradually suffocating them beneath a hazy mind and an even hazier memory. Perhaps he harbored no notion of where he might wake in the morning, yet he knew he wouldn't spend the night plagued by the most terrible of dreams that he wished held no stake in reality. But this: fingers in his hair, fervent kisses, and the eager noise of a man who believed he was good filling the quiet? It was honest without stifling the truth that Joshua swore he could never outrun for long, tender in spite of the roughness that clung to him like smoke after a cigarette. Far different than chasing pleasure for the sake of it, the understanding that it was because this was Teddy settled with finality in his bones, and — hell, he knew this would consume him if he let it!

When the lips against his parted and he felt the brush of Teddy's tongue, the last of his resistance that declared he ought to stay away crumbled into dust. Dammit. A short sound rose in his throat as he leaned further against Teddy, their hips pressed ever more flush. As he answered the initial, cautious shift in their kiss with a furtive stroke of his own tongue, the warmth beneath Joshua's skin sparked hotter. He could taste the whiskey consumed earlier, yet far more potent than that was just Teddy. Instead of the celerity with which he threw back each glass of liquor as it came, he was compelled to savor it as if he might capture it like a picture. In the meantime, Joshua's fingers were dragging over what they could reach of Teddy's collarbone without popping the first button of his companion's shirt. Just how far did that enticing blush go when it disappeared beneath the fabric?

It still felt too soon when they finally parted, a myriad of thoughts clambering around in his mind. Each was too true for him to utter aloud; they all caught in his throat before he could even decide what to do with them. After a second or two ( long enough to draw a few quick breaths ), Joshua tipped his chin towards Teddy's shoulder. "Brave Teddy. Think you see me in a way I'm never gonna." Although it was uttered under his breath, it was impossible to miss in their closeness. His mouth grazed up Teddy's neck, teasing, not yet leaving kisses in its wake while echoes of the last words they shared before their lips met for the first time silenced everything else in his head: ' I’d rather make you feel brave with me, Teddy, ' then his companion's pleading, ' I want to. Show me. Please. ' Joshua didn't always understand his own feelings, or even how they drove his actions at times, yet he knew that he wished for Teddy to feel like that even more than he wished to believe that the way those hazel eyes looked at him was a mirror of who he really was.

Now, levity laced through his voice. "You feelin' brave with me yet?" With his tongue, he traced the shell of Teddy's ear before whispering, "You already know I think you are." Then, Joshua caught Teddy's earlobe between his lips, nipping it with his teeth before they dragged it free. "Or do I still gotta show you?"

He still liked, more than liked, seeing how Faraday pressed into his touch sometimes. How it had him feeling just as wanted, for once, finally. How it made him want to wrap Faraday up in his arms and stay like that a while, each soaking up the other's presence like spring sunlight. Were his thoughts moving too fast, too far ahead of tonight?

Even if they were, those feelings helped Teddy hold onto his earnest courage. Those feelings and more - even before this happy miracle, he knew that Faraday was a good man. Good wasn't the same as perfect, and only God was perfect anyhow. Teddy had seen blood and death, had caused some of it himself, just as he knew it wasn't as much as Faraday likely had. But those hands weren't so stained that they'd forgotten how to be gentle, like the touch at Teddy's wrist before. Those eyes weren't so haunted that they couldn't see something worthwhile in Teddy, something even worthy of wanting. Faraday was a good man because he'd kept his word to help them, even through all the drinking and teasing and grousing. He'd given Teddy a hard but needed lesson about gunfights. He'd helped set the town's defenses, rushed in to save the kids from the general store's cellar, nearly died taking down the Gatling gun. He'd listened tonight, uncovered Teddy's truth and actually accepted it.

So that shake of Faraday's head only made Teddy more certain of his conclusion, even as the dregs of fear snaked cold from his gut into his pulse.

That chill turned to steam with the passion of their next kiss. Teddy inhaled deeper through his nose, dropping his hat to cling to Faraday with both hands (luckily, it sat where it landed in the shadows beside them, rather than rolling into the open). The way he was pinned so close between the gambler and the wall sparked embers low in his stomach. A faint, eager noise eked out when that wandering callused hand found his bare skin. As his own fingers curled in Faraday's hair and on his vest, Teddy parted his lips once more for the man. His tongue came in tentatively at first, yet curious and craving to learn.
