- Deffo has a Bernese Mountain dog back at home tbh, his mum loved them and got one before she died, and he loves that dog because it's all he really has left of her presence in his home

- Besties with Mattheo since they were both really little

- His mum died when he was eight, in childbirth, when giving birth to his little sister.

- his family is the Slytherin equivalent of the Weasleys, but reversed. He has four older sisters, and two younger sisters.

- Forces Mattheo to help him babysit his sisters

- Lapses into Italian when he gets tired

- Deffo sleeptalks in Italian, and when you first started dating you probably got so confused 😭

- He's really irritating when teaching you Italian, he'll throw in a word into his sentence and then make you look it up in a dictionary

- For sure loves dancing, whether or not you're good, if you're alone and there's music, call yourself Ginger Rogers

- Big fan of hand holding, he likes the feeling of having you that close.

I swear this idea sounds really funny in my head AND WAS JUST AS FUNNY TO WRITE HAHAHA I actually enjoyed quite a lot writing the prompt 🖤

Also, this is a non-depair AU, here Monokuma is not a killing machine, but he is still that bitch silly teddy bear I like so much

Hajime Hinata

Getting into a relationship with Hajime may not be too easy since he tent to make a big deal about you being an ultimate while he is just from the reverse course, but at the end he can overcome all his insecurities and anxiety and just enjoy the fact that the person he likes reciprocate the feeling

Hajime finds really interesting your talent, he is really respectful over it and it would take him a while to get comfortable enough to just feel at ease to visit your lab or heard about whatever you are working on without having that bitter feeling of inferiority

Hajime likes hearing you talking about whatever you are working on or all the ideas you have, he may don't understand it at its fullest and probably get lost most of the time, or sometimes he even finds some of your projects silly or even unnecessary, but he just can't say no when you look so passionate and/or happy with all your project, he likes seeing you that way

Still, when he notice a quite big unusual teddy bear on your lab he can't help but be weird out, a million of questions start to run throught his mind without even being able to ask any of them, but the main questions is why? why a teddy bear? why that design? why that smile? just why?

Is more probably that Monokuma end up asking him why is he staring at him like that before Hajime even has the opportunity to put his thoughts in order, and honestly he is just even more confused, Hajime end up trying to avoid and ignore Monokuma as much as he can and just ask you what is that thing (what is dificult since Monokuma finds his behavior highly disrespectful and is just making him more and more angry)

Even when you explain your reasoning behind creating something like Monokuma it doesn't matter, he will still feel confused and a little uncomfortable with Monokuma, although there is a diference on his reaction at your answer depending on your reason, if you created Monokuma as a simple funny project Hajime will find it quite idiotic (not that he will tell you, but you can see it on his expression), but if it was because you wanted one assistant or even just company then he will understand, still he won't get along with Monokuma for a while

Hajime is contantly asking you why in hell have you give Monokuma that personality, he just doesn't understand why would you want to have someone so annoying around, if it is because you found it funny he will feel conflicted but doesn't say anything

It would take a long time for Hajime to just even feel comfortable around Monokuma, and there are high chances that he will just try to avoid him as much as he can, even if that means not going to your lab, but with your help and patience he may just grow to tolerate him and maybe Hajime and Monokuma will be able to get along with each other, bothering each other in a more friendly way (but just a little, Monokuma insist that they are friends while Hajime always deny it)

Kokichi Ouma

Once you start a relasionship with Kokichi you can be sure that he does love you, he won't accept to be in a relationship if he isn't sure about his feelings, and just like how he does love you he does loves your talent, Kokichi finds you fascinating and grows to love quite a lot of you and your talent is one of the things that have catched his attention since the start

Even so, he doesn't pay much attention whenever you decide to explain what are you working on or what you have created to him, he normally just do it when is something that he finds really interesting, not that he doesn't respect or love your talent, is just that if he doesn't find it interesting the he has no reasons to pay attention to it (however, he may remember some of the things you tell him even if he doesn't find it that interesting, even when he says that he doesn't care he is actually listening to you)

That is why, when he found a weird two colored teddy bear he imediatly put his full attention to it, even if the teddy bear was doing nothing other than just standing there is something that catched his attention and suddenly he is asking you everything about it, joking about its weird looks and even touching it

It can be either that you turn on the little teddy bead robot or that he answer to his behavior (a little mad for Kokichi's disrespectful behavior), in any case is something that is going to take Kokichi off guard and will end up scaring him a little (but he will hide it and completely deny it if you or Monokuma point it out)

Despite the initial shock it doesn't take much time for Kokichi to start just talking to Monokuma, teasing him for being a teddy bear, messing with him to make him mad and asking way too much things about his creation and creator, even if you try to answer the questions he is pretty much ignoring you right now even insisting that he is talking to Monokuma right now, not you and that is rude to just interrupt others when they are talking

There is only two ways this could end, that Monokuma and Kokichi end up being enemies or the best friends ever, and is probably going to happen in that order, at first Kokichi can find his superior and sassy attitude annoying, specially because Monokuma always takes back everything Kokichi tells him, if Kokichi tease him then Monokuma does it back, if he tries to make him mad he respond with the same

Not matter with what purpose you created Monokuma, as a simple project or to have an assistant, now, thanks to those two, your lab is always a loud mess, enemies or friend is the same, what change is how the mess is, and once they become friends whenever your lab is quiet and peaceful you can be sure that is because is more likely that those two are out in their way to mess with someone or everyone, they don't discriminated, there are high chances that you'll have to apologize in their name more than once, still not everything is bad they can actually have time where they play really soft and calm jokes and pranks with you and Kokichi still wants to have time for just the two of you

I feel like you're the right person to say this to: I hate hate HATE when people draw Eggman and he's somehow this super buff bodybuilder. Ivo Robotnik is a BEAR and he should ALWAYS BE A BEAR!

Oh I'm definitely the right guy, nobody will agree with such a statement quite as passionately as me lol

Yeah I really don't understand what's appealing about portraying him as buff and ripped like a bodybuilder or something. Some people do because apparently it's amusing because... he's not fat anymore he's super ripped instead haha ? I never understood it. And I especially can't when people seriously think it's a genuine improvement that makes him more attractive, it actually takes away a ton of it for me. It's like removing all the stuffing from a plump cuddly soft teddy bear so it's sad and deflated it's heartbreaking. He's a bear how is he gonna hibernate without all his fat fjshflsbglshf

I've been thinking about how I'm not even a really big fan of him being depicted as like a fat strongman either like this post provides an example of, which I feel is a hot take even among fat guy enjoyers because I felt like the only one for a long time but couldn't put it into words. Like I'll take it and sure I can kiiinda like it sometimes because at least he's actually being respected and portrayed as being fat at all, guys like that are cool, and I absolutely don't mean to diss the artists with a preference. But sometimes it kinda feels like some think it's the only circumstance fat guys are acceptable/appealing/attractive

But official Eggman doesn't have a visible built muscular body like a fat strongman, he has a big belly that's actually perfectly round and consists of pure soft pudge that has been visibly squishy and jiggles, he doesn't have visibly big muscular arms/legs in fact they're surprisingly slim and sleek, and he doesn't have a sharp jawline and slim neck and instead a very rounded face and cute cheeks behind his stache and a short wide neck. I love and embrace him exactly the way he appears in the games, genuinely the most handsome and hottest he can be to me, he's so perfectly shaped like an actual egg 🥰💜

Plus it's funnier and cooler that the immense strength he does actually have in canon seemingly comes from nowhere, instead of altering his design to make him "look" stronger with a more fat strongman build. He's beautiful the way he is and I just personally prefer for him to not have drastic design alternation in his body type in either direction. Well besides drawing him the same but fatter because I certainly don't mind then and tend to myself, better to emphasize than change hehe I'm clearly just not that much of a muscles guy most of the time lol, not the most appealing to me, that's Eggman's preference for others XD

I just wanna see more love for fat bears who aren't visibly muscular like a strongman doing any type of bodybuilding, who are just round and soft because they're lovable and sexy too. And if they are thick limbed unlike Eggman officially, I'd prefer for it to be embraced that it's because of fat rather than changing it to be super built muscle. Guys like that are so beautiful and it's one of the many reasons Eggman is so perfect and handsome. But of course anything is better than him being presented as some shredded bodybuilder, it's just very important that he's always a bear no matter what!

Being a bear should be absolutely crucial to his design no matter what when he has the name Eggman as he was named after his shape, that seems like a given. So it's really odd that in both official and unofficial stuff, it's pretty much the most commonly drastically altered part of him across redesign, it's literally his first defining feature to the point his very name ties in with it and draws attention to it. Without it he's just Man, no Egg. And besides that I believe in fat bear supremacy, he's the most iconic and perfect and sexiest that way and we're so blessed he stays that way in main canon 💘🥚🐻🧸

So have some fun facts!

-Despite being the older brother, Kurochi is the Second in Command for DICE, and Kokichi is the leader. Kuorchi follows Kokichi's orders without fail when he's being serious -Kurochi is a cryptographer, which means he works with cyber security most--but I personally like the idea that he likes decrypting more than encrypting, so he's essentially got the skills to be a deadly hacker if he so wished -Rochi is a spy kid but also a dino kid, Kokichi is a class clown and a theater kid -When choosing the aesthetics for DICE, Kokichi and Kurochi did rock, paper, scissors to decide everything. Kokichi ended up "losing" most of the games, thusly why Twins AU! DICE has a different looking uniform, but he made SURE to win the round where they were choosing between A Clown Theme VS A Masquerade Theme -The idea behind Rochi was that in canon, Kokichi blames himself for Rochi's suicide when they were twelve--something that, ofc, doesn't happen in Twins AU. This means Kokichi and Kurochi are both less pale/sickly and have a little more fat on their bodies from taking slightly better care of themselves. -The twins have an older sister-turned-brother named Noboru Hakuren--who just so happens to be the friend Maki made as a child who "died." -All three of them inherited their mother's "Lucky Charm" Ultimate Luckster talent (in the form of her giving them luck), so that's how they were able to meet again later in life after Kenzo put Akari (Noboru's deadname) up for adoption after Umeko disappeared. It's also why Noboru has more "talent" for assassination than Maki. -Umeko designed and made stuffed toys for each of the siblings--Noboru got a classic brown teddy, Kurochi got a raccoon thief character he named "Lil Bandit", and Kokichi got a pilot bunny he named "Mr. Hopps." -Kurochi was a huge Mama's boy and whenever someone acts motherly towards him he gets shy and more obedient -The twins grew up cuddling to one another nearly every night due to their abuse, and they ended up continuing to share a bed as they traveled the world, so they never really outgrew sleeping in the same bed together, and they also hold hands like school children and drag each other around a lot. -The Twins have a taste disorder where they cannot taste food, so they eat insanely spicy foods and crunchy foods.

Rec Notes: Truly a stunning fic. An absolute masterpiece. Hilarious, touching, perfectly paced. Incredibly long and well-thought out, great characterization, and again, I cannot stress this enough, hilarious. I once recommended this to a person out loud irl in real life on purpose. A person who had never heard of fanfiction. Admittedly I was a high-schooler at the time, so it's not like I had much sense (not that I have any now), but I still didn't normally do that. He thought it was hilarious, by the way. Read some excerpts out loud at lunch and had them howling. Wonderful fic, cannot recommend enough; so fucking funny and the premise is just. so good.

There is something i would like to say about the TMNT fandom.

As we all know, when Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles happened, there was a lot of people who hated it (and still do).

When I saw that there was a new show about my favorite turtles I thought "Oh cool, I'll watch it later" even when I saw the designs and I didn't really liked them. But they were different kinds of turtles and that was a good detail that I liked.

I forgot about rottmnt until the movie came out. My little brother showed me the trailer and I loved the animation. It was so amazingly done.

Unfortunately, I also forgot about it. 2020 had my head with too many things and I didn't remember Rise until a few months ago.

When I saw all of the changes that happened in this iteration, I HATED it. Change of weapons, change of roles, etc.

Leonardo was not the older brother and perfect son I looked up to be when I grew up

Raphael was not my lonely and angry driven turtle I felt identified with

Donatello was not the pacifist and patient brother I would have liked so much to have

Michelangelo didn't change as much (in my opinion) and he's the only constant in all of the versions

I started to watch RotTMNT out of spite. I wanted to hate it with a reason.

But you know what? I love it. I'm not even on season 2 yet but the changes they made are absolutely amazing and refreshing. Leonardo's one liners are cringy and funny and it's not the first Leo I have seen joking around (Next Mutation anyone?). Raphael looks intimidating but he's a teddy bear AND the parentified kid??? (I DID NOT NEED to identify myself more with Raph thank you very much). Donatello is UNHINGED and I enjoy every moment of him being on screen (also he's canonically autistic AND I LOVE IT). Michelangelo, as I said has not changed much. In any case he's more savage and it's so funny omg.

I can still see my boys under all of that. Raphael is still the protector of the group, Donatello is still insecure about his role in the team, Leonardo still craves Splinter's validation and both the twins cover their issues with their new personalities while Michelangelo is still the most sensitive little brother.

Old fans should give this version an opportunity. It's not the same tale, you don't know what is going to happen next, you don't have the comics to guide yourself, the new characters are awesome, and when the old ones appear you will not even feel nostalgia because they feel new, too. (The Krangs for example, I haven't watched the movie yet, but I ate the spoilers like a bowl of cereal and MY GOD it's terrifying. I would have cried if I saw that Krang when i was a toddler in the 90's)

Well what I want to say is that at the end of the day, they still are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, even after all the changes. Because as Master Splinter said once,

What are your top five plushies that you personally own

This is so fucking cute and I am so glad that you asked this.

I had such a hard time choosing and this is more than five, but I could have gone on way longer and picked way more - and it's difficult for me to choose, because I don't know whether to choose based on sentimental value or how much I like the design - and for me specifically, I also favour plushies based on their texture, and I know for me, a specific run of a plush that I have might be softer than one that someone else has, so I favour it more because my one that I have is particularly really soft while someone else's is a bit more firm. Also, I prefer certain plushies more if they're in a 'set' - I get really obsessed with certain squishmallows if I have a bigger version and a smaller version, because I fucking love it when they look like a big sister and a little sister. It makes something in my brain go brrr

Also - I purposefully tried to include a mixture of squishmallows and non-squishmallows because it would be very easy for me to fill this list with just squishmallows, but other types of plushies deserve the appreciation too. (Also these are not in a definitive order because I am so fucking indecisive lmao.)

Elda the Ostrich - Squishmallows

I just said that I put them in a non-distinct order, but this is easily my favourite plushy of all time.

This is my girl, this is my 'the house is burning down and this is the prized possession that you grab' (aside from my super sentimental childhood teddy bear) - this is easily my favourite squishmallow of all time. And it's wild to me that from what I have seen in the squishmallow community, she is wildly seen as one of the ugliest ones. A lot of people say that she looks like a feather duster - and to me, that's a good thing. When I was younger, I literally used to steal those rainbow feather dusters from my mom to play with them. So idk, maybe this is fate

And typically, I don't even like the giant squishmallows - I usually always prefer the 8 inch ones or smaller (the mini ones are some of my favourites) but I love her despite her size because every other aspect of her design is so fucking perfect. I have watched so many horror movies while cuddling her, and I want the smaller version so fucking badly (and I am so upset that it was only in 5 Below in America) (and actually, while doing some googling for this, I have seen how widely available the smaller version is on resale sights, so I may just have to get her omg).

Dream Bright Bear - Care Bears

My favourite care bear!! This is one I do love a bit more because I have a 'set', but I got the smaller one first and fell so deeply in love with her that I had to get the bigger version. If I saw this one in more sizes, I would also get her again. As you can see, I made both of them a necklace and a bracelet (and I actually made myself a matching necklace and bracelet...) because I love them both so much. I love the colours so much, I love her belly badge - I think this is what I would look like if I was a Care Bear.

Joelle the Bigfoot - Squishmallows

I also have this one in the 8 inch version, but she is stuck behind a bunch of other plushies right now lmao - so I used this 5 inch version for the picture. Now, I was never someone who hopped onto the bigfoot craze. Bigfoots are the largely most popular in the squishmallow community, and I never saw the appeal until Joelle came along (and now I have multiple bigfoots because I have come around to them alot and because my mom fell in love with them, so she buys them because she loves them a lot too - and I actually really came around to Benny when I got the trapper hat version). Anyway - I became obsessed with Joelle when she came out, and I ended up paying $50 for the 8 inch version (and I know a lot of you guys are cringing if you're not a plushy collector) - but to me, she was more than worth it and she is by far one of my prize possessions.

This 5 inch version is from one of the Costco collector boxes where I also got several other really awesome ones, including a really cute bluebird, a koala - and I can't remember which others ones came in that box. But we love Joelle!!!

Peach the Spring Cow - Build A Bear

This is the BAB spring cow, and I have named mine Peach/Peaches. Because I got my BAB Spring Frog before this, and I named her Jenna (named after Jenna Marbles, an icon always) and so I decided to name my cow after Peach - Jenna and Julien's dog. (And if I keep collecting BABs, I will probably keep naming them after Jenna and Julien related things because they make me really happy and BABs make me happy.) I got her on my birthday this year - I was so excited, because it was my first time going into the store and doing the full BAB experience, and I specifically really wanted the Spring Cow, and I got the last one that they had!!

And I picked this orange dress to match her orange spots, and I just love her so much. She will always remind me of the amazing day I had on my birthday - I went to BAB, I had cinnabon, I got to do a bit of other shopping in the mall, I wore such a pretty birthday dress, I had my favourite pasta for dinner, I got the Hello Kitty special anniversary LOL doll - it was literally the perfect birthday and she is such a special memory of that. And she is such a cute soft plushy. Also, she has two hearts!!! The BAB employee said that she should have one heart from me and one from my mom, so that makes her more special to me <33

Isolde the Onion - Squishmallows

This is one that I did not expect to love as much as I do. I was randomly shopping one day, browsing a place that I know has a large variety of plushies (because I buy 99% of my plushies in person rather than online because I hate paying shipping fees lmao) - and I saw her, and I fell in love. And when I first saw her, I thought she was a boa/dumpling. I was convinced that she was a boa. And my mom thought she was meant to be a turnip, and we argued for a while about what she was meant to be, and the tag bio revealed that she is an onion - and I was like ooh. So we were both wrong lmao. And I think it's so ironic because I fucking hate onions - the smell, the taste, etc. but I love her so much and she is my favourite squishmallow ever.

I just love her little glasses and her cute little cheeks and - some squishmallows, I love certain features about them because they are good for stimming/anxiety. And the little tendrils on top are really great for stimming, so she just generally calms my anxiety a lot. Normally, this one wouldn't be one I would choose - because of the beige colour and the general design, but seeing her in person, I fell in love and she skyrocketed to the top of my favourite list so fast.

Donutella - Tokidoki

I only have 3 or 4 Tokidoki plushies (more if you include keychains) because they are more expensive, but this one was one I had to have when I saw it in store. I love Donutella so much as a character, I love this design so much, and I also love having unique plushies in my collection and I knew I was never gonna come across one like this again (and she was the only one on the rack when I found her). I love her because she is so unique - I love her pink hair, and she is just so amazing.

Dawna the Sprinkle Unicorn (Cow) - Squishmallows

This is absolutely one of my favourites!! The reason I put "cow" in brackets is because this one is officially labelled as a unicorn, but to me, it has always looked like a cow with an ice cream cone on her head. But whatever her species is, I love her so much. This is so much of my aesthetic summed up - cuteness, rainbow sprinkles, a bit of glitter. And she is so soft. This is one I have a preference for strictly based on her softness.

Garnet the Pink Christmas Tree - Squishmallows

I had to put her in here because, with Christmas coming up, I have been thinking about her a lot and looking forward to doing an arrangement of Christmas squishmallows on my bed. Also, I know Garnet is rare and I got her when she first came out, straight out of the box and I was so excited. This is one of those 'you can take this one over my dead body' type plushies. I love her so much and I would never give her up. I also really want to get the smaller sizes of her, but idk if I would be willing to buy them online.

For me nostalgia provides insights into my identity, highlighting how my past experiences have influenced who I am today in many different aspects of my life but specifically who I am becoming as a creative.

A lot of my objects are things from my childhood and items that represent important and significant moments of my childhood and growing. These things all build and relate to who I am as a creative and the work I produce. The collection of objects theme and consistency may be unnoticeable to others but to me, it is pronounced that these things represent my personal growth.

Jewellery Box: This jewellery was gifted to me by my Nana and Grandad when I was four years old and just moved to Aotearoa from England. I wasn't old enough to care for a jewellery box but now it holds this new significance now, to it feels like this token of 'coming home' Although when I came to NZ it wasn't my 'home', this box now represents the beginning of the place that holds the most significant moments of my life.

Photo album: This is the biggest photo album I own, started by my parents and then continued on by me. While it represents and incases significant milestones in my life it was also the beginning of a creative spark. From as young as five there are little doodles filling the pages creating a very individual and unique book.

Cyanotype print: This is a print I made in my first year of university, it is a cyanotype print. This was my first time trying cyanotype and I was immediately drawn to the way the process was. Starting by painting a blank canvas and then creating pieces digitally and with nature to then be placed in the light. It almost felt magical to me. Through the first year of uni experimenting with so many different forms of design this really solidified my love for analogue processes.

Teddy bear: The teddy bear I received when I was first born, there isn't a deep and meaningful reason behind why my parents got me this, rather my Dad's work just gave it to him as a congratulation. But it became my favourite thing and ever since there it has been with me everywhere. Even now as a 19 year old it still sits perched on my desk. Teddy was once bright pink and fluffy when first received but now it is worn and faded. Teddy represents my growth, we both have grown and changed so much and Teddy represents that for me.

Journal: I use this journal not really as a way to record how my day was or my feelings with words, but rather using it as a creative outlet, I don't use a pencil or a rubber, I use pens and create doodles markings or any scribbles that come to mind. This is an important part of my design process I need to get all the ideas out no matter how silly or whether or not they make sense.

Coaster: This is a coaster from a pub in England - the first time we went back after moving to NZ. At the time I was 10 and my sisters and I decided to 'borrow' it and take home as a souvenir. Now it reminds me how although I don't consider England my 'home', home can be more than one place.

Pounds: Pounds are the currency of England, I chose these specific ones not to represent my birthplace but rather the significance of when it was given to me. When I went to England this year for the first time in nearly 10 years, we saw our dad's side of the family (who are Pakistani) for the first time in a very long time and celebrated Eid for the first time. It isn't something our dad has really shared with us growing up so being able to celebrate Eid and embrace this side of our heritage for the first time was very special. And this was the Eid money I was gifted.

Tiny home: Art is all around us and I think the beauty of op shopping is finding little treasures, I found this at an op shop and loved the physicality of the ceramic work, while it also has a purpose of being a container to hold anything in.

Postcards: These postcards I have taken back with me from England. I liked the way they were showcasing art rather than photography.

Easel: This baby easel was gifted to me by my sister, It is not something I really even intend on painting but her reasoning for it was 'it was just so you'. I have always considered myself a 'creative' in my own way, growing up I was always drawing, painting or creating something, whether it was good or not, it was just something I loved to do.

Flax flowers: These are fla flowers that I made with my Nana when I was younger, I am part Māori from my mum's side and while it is something I have always been proud of it is something I have felt disconnected from most of my life. Moments like this with my Nana have always been important. She taught me different weaving processes as she thought this was a way I could connect with the culture in a creative way.

CDs: These are the few CDs that I grew up listening to and that feels very personal and significant to me. Music helps me feel comforted and surrounded when isolated, it helps inspire my work and is something I always feel goes hand in hand with a creative process as it is always lingering in the background.

Seaglass: I have always loved looking for sea glass when going to beaches, I started a collection when I was younger, I was so drawn to them because of their softness and organicness, also their uniqueness each one was different, from their shape to colour and even to texture. I didn't know it at the time but it was the start of my love for physical forms of art, and how I as a creative am drawn to creating analogue work as opposed to very digital work.

Handmade mug: This is a handmade mug I bought years ago with my pocket money while in New Plymouth. I remember being given an allowance by my Aunty and Uncle and they were surprised that out of anything I could have chosen that was it. I just loved the way it felt so personal and unique and wouldn't look like all the other mugs in our draw at home, rather handmade and my own.

Beatles poster: This is a little Beatles poster that I found in the op shop, I always loved the Beatles as it is the kind of music I would listen to with my mum growing up. I think Music and artists always have the most creative and fascinating designs for album covers and it is the first thing I will always look at before the tracklist or anything else.

Knitted patch: Another product from an activity with my Nana, when I was younger and stayed with her we always found something creative to do. She taught me and my sisters how to knit. This was the first thing I ever made. I then fell in love with it, Although my range just consists of scarfs, I liked the idea of a physical outcome.

Notebook: This handmade notebook I bought in Raglan when on a camping trip with my best friend. I immediately loved the illustrations on it as hand-drawn illustrations are some of my favourite forms of art.

Washy tape: Washy tape is something that takes me back to intermediate, I used to use it to decorate all my school books, collecting many different sizes, colours and patterns and using them to create fun markings on my book.

Pens: These coloured pens that I feel like I have had forever have always been my go-to when starting to plan something or even just scribble something. Sketching something as boring as packaging for one of my other classes with a big colour pen makes something that isn't really considered fun feel easy careless and creative.

'A' book: This book is something that was gifted to me, it was from a small gift shop in Dublin and it is handmade. I have had it for years now and have never really drawn or added anything to it as I find the craftsmanship of the object itself so perfect and intriguing that I have never wanted to mark it. Handmade and analogue pieces of work are always something I find to be so much more valuable then anything else.

Now that I have begun refining my 20 objects I am starting the process of planning and ideating how my poster is going to be presented and in what format. We were given many examples such as mapping, publications, journaling and videos. Below are some of my initial ideating sketches.

I love Sweet Pea so much, I never realised how gosh darn CUTE hyenas could be, but now I'm hooked

thank you very much!! I'm so glad my art has helped you see how cute hyenas are! I honestly think that every animal can be cute in its own way, even ones with complicated insect faces or even no faces at all, but I feel like hyenas are very conventionally cute if you open your heart to them. I did this sketch (from photo reference) highlighting just some of the cute things about spotted hyenas:

The most well-known stylized hyena designs, the ones from The Lion King (which I've loved my whole life, don't get me wrong), work really hard to make them look villainous and threatening through choices like giving them broad, sly grins full of sharp teeth and desaturating their fur from tawny yellow and ginger to gray and black. That look is iconic and all, and I've seen plenty of other hyena character designs lean that way, but I think a design could easily go just as far in the other direction and be almost teddy-bear cute-- it's all about the personality the design is meant to convey and what features are exaggerated to do it. In real life, spotted hyenas just look like fuzzy normal guys, just as cute as any other large carnivorous mammal:

On a related note, that's also part of why I like drawing animals from photo reference rather than from stylized artwork. I love looking at other people's art for inspiration, but I also like being able to ultimately pick for myself how to stylize an animal character's looks, rather than copying someone else's choices. Plus, using references means getting to look at cute animal pictures while drawing, and who wouldn't want that?

Also, as one last thing, I think it's really important when considering hyenas' inherent cuteness to know that they can tuck in all their limbs and loaf like cats:

Hideous. Burn it. We had a ugly shag rug that was the same colour. I couldn't stop thinking about it. One of my college lecturers would have worn that tie. He was a giant teddy bear in human form. So it gets a pass.

It's cute. It feels muted compared to Asmo's other outfits which tend to have a lot more ruffles and pink. But I don't hate it. Fuck I might even wear it :/ The necklace reminds me of the ones Solomon wore with his human world outfit👀

Hello everyone! I am back! Last but no least is Shoyo! 💚

"Shoyo edition"

Kenji Fujima:

Pretty boy, I love him. I feel like Fujima is more than he seems. He is a very skilled player and at the same time, a coach! He tries his best to make his team the best one in Kanagawa.

Although he is calm and collected most of the time, deep down I believe he is a party animal. Someone who loves having a great time. He usually hangs out with Hanagata. They ride their bikes together and then eat lunch. They have similar interests and Fujima likes to spend to spend time with someone who is understanding.

I don't know why but I feel during the summer days Fujima likes wearing oversized t-shirts and short shorts while walking barefoot inside the house. Sometimes he reads books but ends up falling asleep after a while. In general he is someone who enjoys having nice conversations and likes taking care of the people close to him.

Toru Hanagata:

Okay so I think he is really shy, especially when it comes to girls. He isn't used to having girls talking to him since most of them have a major crush on Fujima. So he ends up blushing and be a bit nervous.

When he doesn't go out for lunch with the rest of the the team, he likes staying inside and read. Hanagata likes novels and especially those who don't have a cliche ending. He isn't a big fun of fashion, unlike Fujima or Jin, but he likes going shopping from time to time.

He is definitely the guy that wears funny t-shirts when he stays home. The ones that have cartoon characters on them or just teddy bears and stuff like that. In general Hanagata needs time when it comes to meeting new people. He feels nervous and awkward at first but after a while he is the ideal person to hang out with and have interesting conversations.

Kazushi Hasegawa:

Brokenhearted boy needs love, okay? He tries his best to prove he is a skilled basketball player. He isn't someone who likes talking much so he shows his real self inside the court. Fujima tries to support him as much as he can and Hasegawa really appreciates that.

Hasegawa likes playing basketball during his free time. Sometimes the rest of the Shoyo team joins him as well. It's nice to play without feeling pressure and having a great time. Other time he, Hanagata and Fujima go shopping together. While their captain is busy looking at clothes, he and Hanagata spend time buying records and cds.

I feel like Hasegawa has an awesome collection of socks. Different colors, designs and even lengths! He loves oversized and comfortable clothes, especially during the summer days. In general I think he is a misunderstood person that needs appreciation and to be taken care of.
