Forgiveness is not something that the person who wronged you has to earn; it is freely given. However, trust is something that must be earned, deserved, fought for and maintained.

When you trust someone you love, you hand them your heart. In betrayal, they break it. Forgiveness allows you to take what is yours back and liberates you to move on. But by giving them your trust back, you're handing them your heart all over agan; something they have proven to be irresponsible with.

At my core, I am a loving and compassionate person who wouldn't hesitate to take a bullet for the people that I love. I feel this is one of my best qualities. That being said, God has been teaching me recently that the respect and care and consideration I give to those around me may not always be returned. Others may not care about me in the way I care about them. When I decide to put forth effort with someone, I give them everything; I give them my whole heart because I want them to feel the depth of my love for them.

I am learning that not everyone is deserving of all of me. In light of this new understanding, I will continue to embrace forgiveness and I will continue to be loving towards others, but I am no longer handing out my heart like it is nothing of value.

I am so tired of chasing and embracing people that would not and have not done the same for me. I am tired of not respecting myself enough to protect my heart. You want my love? You want my trust? Earn it.

My go at a stick oc. This one was a while ago and really my first attempts. But i'm happy with this.

Anyway, meet Razz. He's just your average stick. Well, as average as you can get with powers you barely know how to use. He currently isnt interested in figuring them out either, he'd rather live a normal life. His friend does use him as a glorified flashlight though.

Razz is also taller than normal sticks, and seems more detailed than a stickfigure should be. He claims he's just built different.

Its both so fucking mind blowing and scary at the same time how much men actually hate women. and yes i am saying men and not some men because atp theres such a little group of men that ACTUALLY respect women and their rights. OUR RIGHTS.

Im not American but i am TERRIFIED of what this elections outcome might do to the entire world, what impact and influence will come from trumps decisions.

A lot of countries think of america as the big amazing country and im scared theyre gonna start copying it, takinf womens rights away in more countries until we are not safe, until we can no longer fight back

hi mutuals, it's been a while since I post here, but I wanted to make a more serious post:

currently it's the rain season in brazil, and the state of rio grande do sul is going through an extreme calamity due to the floods and the climate crisis. whole cities are underwater and families lost everything. it's a heartbreaking situation that got the whole country moved by it to try to help the families and people in need.

I haven't seen international vehicules talking about it, and even though my blog here is really small, I wanted to ask that if it's possible, for you to reblog and spread awareness so maybe it would get people help and donations. here are some organs that receive international donations:

I wouldn't call myself a pessimist, honestly, given the current circumstances im more of a realist. It's not that I dont wan't to belive things are gonna be ok, I just don't have any evidence to really back that up.. however.. I hate to say her exitement can be quite contagious.

I tried to ignore it at first, It's as if my heart is disobeying my brain on what I'm trying to feel, but there's no use. At some level I admire her ability so stay oblivious through all this, even starting to doubt if she's putting on an act or not. I shake off this feeling, I always was an overthinker.

The way she smiles at me, with golden eyes, golden hair and golden pride. Mabye, and just mabye, we could pretend things are alright. Even if just for a little bit, I want to feel alright.
