i fucking hate night blindness because I love horror but most horror takes place in a dark environments so I cant see shit and that's why my favorite horror movie is midsommar

people always think I'm pretentious for liking these modern horror movies with cryptic storytelling like no its just that they're the only movies that take place during the day ;v;

i saw heretic in theaters and the entire second half of the movie I was just asking my grandpa to tell me what was happening because I couldnt see shit but I didn't wanna use those headphones for the blind that describe everything because they ruin the movie like yes I know what's going on now but now I cant enjoy the suspense of a silent scene

I've only watched two horror movies without having to ask someone to tell me what's happening on screen and those movies are a quiet place and midsommar ;v;
