cross posting yesterday's rambling thread for posterity and because tumblr lets me edit things. anyway this is a sorta long thing and i might add things i forgot to mention in the twt thread

i tend to draw on-model canon because im a coward + just personal preferences. but the way i convert the canon designs into my artstyle is that i take the distinct features oda gives them and then combine it with personal headcanons to complete what should look like a unique human. Starting with Trafalgar Law, who is unfortunately a bland-ass conventionally pretty boy

someone commented a while ago the law hat drawing tutorial i made a while ago didn't make much sense and i realize its bc of the specific way i draw law's face: heart shaped (ba-dum-tss). That meaning, a narrow chin widening into a mild defined jaw, wide cheekbones, and up to his know-it-all brain dome.

given that, the pudgy guitar pick shape of his head i mentioned here should make a lot more sense.

i don't think this design point is unique to me, as most conventional pretty anime boy gets given jaws like this. a lot of law artists tend to veer into this head shape. just how life be sometimes. other points: flat, thick eyebrows is bc im a hairy gal and i need to feel better about myself.

Killer gets to be more interesting, because he shouldn't be considered conventionally attractive. my idea behind killer's is that those individual features is smth he would be insecure with enough to hide himself in a helmet but i draw him with all the love in the world actually. i'd like to think its how kid sees him or yknow, law, bc he's my kin assigned blorbo and maybe you ship lawkill as a guilty pleasure too i mentioned before (and ruined people's days) when i said whenever i draw killer he looks like griffith before i put on his goatee. the upper half of his face is distinctly feminine, with the lower half kinda over compensating. other than that uhh...idk. stan killer

Kidd is the bane of my existence, i feel like i can never draw his face consistently. yet at the same time he's so damn fun to draw everyone gotta try it.

my problem with kidd is that this mf does have eyelids. most kidd painters out there interpret this as him having deep set eyes (think Matt Smith or jeffrey star) . and yeh skill issue on me i should practice that. other notes, i try to make him younger than canon makes him look. he is my babygirl and he deserves to look cuddly. my band au kidd version has the honor of being allowed some chubs. he's just tries to look older and more menacing with edgy makeup. also i try to give him dimples when i can because, well i can.

Rosinante last bc i lost steam after kidd. the thing abt cora is that aside from not having eyebrows, everything is structured with the generic one piece man template. which means i gotta do everything myself doffy is there bc the way to figure out how to draw these two is to give them minor differences from each other, that being doffy gets slightly sharper features. in canon, these two are also rly wide boys (more of an oda style feat tbh) but i make them long. though bigger brained donquixote artists know that of these two brothers, doffy should be the wiry-er built. anyway that's it. in conclusion, i need to draw more girls actually i feel like im becoming misogynistic by osmosis from oda's style and now i draw girls all looking the same too.

LMAOO so i do have clear visions of what otoya and karasu wear so i tried drawing them (also in my mind chigiri just wears tan riding pants, a rugby shirt, and riding boots since he’s an ex racer but that’s basic enough that i didn’t draw it) obviously they look silly because a) i can’t draw and b) they’re meant to be goofy pokémon verse fits but here they are!!

^ also in my mind karasu’s coat and pants are the same purpley black as his hair/honchkrow’s feathers (both for aesthetic and to distinguish him from aiku who wears a white lab coat as all professors do) but i did not feel like coloring that anyways the gist as you can see is otoya = black turtleneck + black pants + black boots probably (not skin tight necessarily but def more fitted to not get in his way when he’s doing ninja bs) whereas karasu has this long coat to kind of match the bird vibe?? also he’s almost always wearing the super heavy duty falconing gloves especially when the birds are babies because they love perching on his arm and yayoi drilled into him how much it hurts when a raptor with enormous talons divebombs onto your unprotected wrist 😭 anyways no idea what the others might wear i’ll probably try to figure it out during their introductions (also like i said excuse the artistic skills this was more meant for me to have as a visual while writing but since you asked i thought i’d share LDJFSJSJSJ)

i think the barou version is probably going to end up at about the same length as the sae one!! we’re at 3k ish words rn and reader is just about to meet barou soooo there’s that 😭 this one is even more ridiculous than the sae version (aiku and niko kidnap barou) but i feel like barou lends himself to crack really well and barou fans are probs less picky so i think it’s okay (also PERSONALLY i find it funny and that’s all that matters fr)

THAT’S WHAT I WAS THINKING like maybe each type is a certain trope/theme and people have to find a pokémon that has the typing they want and send it in with the character they want…like say fire is best friends to lovers and flying is angst so someone could say “talonflame with karasu” or smth and i’d write an angsty best friends to lovers fic for him ykwim…it would require more effort on participant’s parts but considering i’ll probably limit it anyways and given how involved my request responses tend to be i think it’s fair and fun!! wait i could limit it to be like “help me build a pokémon team” and only have a certain number of slots available for the team or smth and that way i don’t get quite as many reqs as i did for the 500 event so i still have free time to write my own stuff

Ok I didn't get the chance to draw it tonight so I'll just talk about my KuroEne (NSFW) ideas, heads up

So basically, what I wanted to draw on June 18th was Kuroha holding Ene from behind while she has her jacket sleeves/arms bound by his snakes and dark aura (light ~ mild bondage), while she has a vibrator/dildo inside her. And Kuroha with a teasing grin, says sweetly into Ene's headphones (ears), "Come on. Say 'Saeru.'"

When I imagined it my head, her wrists are bound together, with the snakes coiling around her sleeves. He does it teasingly in response to Ene's habit of covering her face with her sleeves. Since Ene gets embarrassed and flustered easily and tends to cover her face with her sleeves

But I thought that idea might be a little too ambitious to draw for me rn. Like last month, when the idea first came to mind, I spent an hour playing around with the CSP 3D models and STILL didn't get the poses I wanted for this art idea, so GRRRR. So I was thinking. Maybe I'll get to draw it some other time? My art/scenario ideas are so sexy, guys

Since my faves tend to delve into light ~ mild BDSM and kink stuff. I'm totally fine with depicting light ~ mild kink stuff. As I said, my NSFW stuff is not going to be very explicit, and is always mutually consensual.

This idea is so hot to me like good god imagining Ene's blushy embarrassed expressions with this is making me go bonkers

I started a XanLena (NSFW) WIP but it's not finished yet so I'll post it whenever.

KuroEne Scenario (NSFW)

I always try to make my ship NSFW scenarios hot... Hopefully I have delivered :)

There was also another KuroEne idea I had where basically, Kuroha plays a "game" with Ene while Ene has her wrists bound above her head while lying on the bed with a vibrator inside her.

He describes it to her this way. The game goes like this: He will ask her questions and go like, "Correct" or "Incorrect/Wrong answer" in response to Ene's answers.

At some point, Kuroha is surprised by Ene doing so well with his guessing game and then decides to tease her by using his advantage in "knowledge" by asking her things that she definitely wouldn't know (ie. Things from previous routes, his origins, etc.)

Ene gets feisty and competitive with him really easily which is what makes them (KuroEne) a good match for each other ^v^

Ene pouts at him for asking "dirty/cheat questions" (things that he would only know the answer to because he remembers previous routes) and calls his antics unfair. He just smirks, leans in and playfully nips and bites at her neck. When has he ever played fair?

Kuroha: How about we play a little game?

Kuroha: Simple. I'll ask you questions, and if you answer wrong, you get a strike, and I'll turn up the speed of the vibrator. If you answer right, it stays the same. Ready?

So, about a month ago, I posted a KuroEne sex idea where Ene thrusts her fingers into Kuroha's mouth, catching him off guard and making him moan on her fingers, but he also teases her by sucking and gently biting down on her fingers and urging her to dominate him and take what she wants, goading her into taking action, saying that "She's going to have to do better than that to dominate him," and that "she should make her victory even sweeter."

But canon-verse Kuroha/Saeru just doesn't, like he has no sense of embarrassment or shame (he doesn't see anything to be ashamed of, it's an indulgence in 'pleasure,' a natural urge - it is in a sentient living being's nature to want something).

Cuz as I said, it's hard to tease and embarrass and fluster a guy who's older than human civilization AND knows basically everything (due to the nature of his Eye Ability of having power over knowledge and retaining memories of previous routes and having a full grasp of everything up to modern science)

I loooooove the part 2 gang, and I've posted a bunch of hcs for them on Twitter a month ago! I'll copy and paste it all here

Warning, it's mostly Yoshida because my god I'm insane about him and I apologize

-Octopi are intelligent creatures so Yoshida's contract with the octopus devil is for him to get good grades because it doesnt want to work with a dumb human

-Yoshida ONLY drinks iced coffee, he can tolerate room temp but never hot

-Yoshida really likes cold food in general

-As a kid, Asa knew running while holding scissors is bad so she never did it because she knew she'd trip with them, but in grade school she probably tripped and got hurt anyway from a nearby classmate holding scissors

-Yoshida likes lemon lime sodas because I like lemon lime sodas no other reason it's just true

-Nayuta is a selective mute, but she and Denji click so well that he immediately knows if she needs anything even if she doesnt say or sign anything

-As reckless as he is sometimes, Denji is still very good at taking care of Nayuta, he learned a lot from Aki and from taking care of all the dogs. THIS I'm quite sure is basically canon, even just from the small glimpse of them together in ch97

-If CSM took place in modern times, Yoru is SHIT at video games and Asa is average (hi, not part of the original twt thread, I just remembered that csm doesn't take place THAT long ago and that Denji and Power literally bought a video game console with... Aki's money... So yeah the modern times part was a little dumb of me, but it still applies to some of the hcs ahead)

-Denji spams buttons in fighting games and Yoshida has combos memorized, but somehow he still loses to Denji sometimes

-Yuko is better than all of them and is probably a speedrunning champion

-If all four (five w yoru) of them played games together, Denji and Asa would be at each other's throats while Yoshida and Yuko silently keep playing and win in the end

-Yoru:"I WANT TO KEEP PLAYING!"

-Asa is transfem!! Idk I just saw the flashbacks she had and how she had short hair at one point and I was like hmm and my transfem moots agreed (That post blew up a little actually and some people genuinely thought I was weird or that I was stereotyping cause of the short hair, so I don't talk about this hc that often. I genuinely would've headcanoned her as transfem before I even saw the short hair though, I love hitting csm characters with the transification beam.)

-Speaking of, Yoshida is transmasc! He's a reincarnation of Togata from Fire Punch that was able to successfully transition (socially at least), and he binds! This is one of my fav hcs cause god I love Togata and Yoshida's eerieness in part 1 is really EXTREMELY similar to Togata, and they both have really similar features like black eyes and hair, the fringe between their eyes, the mole under their lip, AND THE WAY THEY SMILE??? I genuinely no joke think Yoshida was meant to be a nod to Togata back when Fujimoto drew him in part 1

-Back to the videogames thing, Asa would be 1st in Mario Kart then fuck up last minute right before she reaches the finish line, and she ends up in last place. My girl trips at the worst time even in video games 💀

I’m just gonna take a few snippets from that essay (you think I’d give you all of my secrets at the same time? ha) and post them so that Dreams inclusion in this au actually makes sense-

Tubbo makes a plan to meet Puffy, or at the very least see her from the vents, but doesn’t know if she’s ok with borrowers yet since this is before Schlatt ever mentioned Tubbo to her and he hasn’t introduced the two of them. However, he makes the mistake of bringing Ranboo and Tommy along to find out.

Tommy ends up getting caught by Puffy’s brother, Dream, and swallowed, since ooo plot twist, Dream had been the person to originally suggest the idea of eating borrowers to Sapnap. He just forgot to mention to him that they were digestion-proof. Dream ignores all of Tommy’s thrashing since he’s used to it from doing the same thing to other borrowers and goes to sleep. When he wakes up Tommy is quick to tell him that about all the “borrowers can’t be digested” stuff but, to his surprise, Dream cuts him off to tell him he knows all of that.

Dream then spits Tommy out and explains that he just needs a bit of a snack while he’s out here seeing his estranged “brother” (Schlatt) and best friend (Sapnap) and his fiancés, and if Tommy is good while he’s in there, he’ll consider letting Tommy stay at this apartment once he has to go home. So Tommy is stuck in this motherfucker without any way to contact anyone and let them know where he is. No one can help him. So, basically, this au’s equivalent to the exile arc.

And how long does Tommy stay there?…idk I haven’t decided yet.

There’s a lot I cut out of this essay so I may post the entire thing later but idk just how much I want y’all to know yet >:)

BTS visit to the MET with the First Lady (210920) and meeting Megan Thee Stallion (210921)

After spending the Monday morning hours by the side of South Korea’s President Moon, Bangtan spent their late afternoon with First Lady Kim visiting the MET. Not only did they get to see the beautiful Korean artworks displayed within the Korea Gallery of the MET, but also came with a gift from the Korean government in form of five different colored lacquer vessels.

(I do love the amount of vmin/Tae in that thumbnail.)

Though there are no English subtitles, I think it’s still worth a watch to see the members along with First Lady Kim getting a tour through the Korea Gallery. In particular it’s amazing to basically see Namjoon namjooning with the First Lady, showing off his knowledge and appreciation for Korean art, and the two of them bonding over their shared admiration for the so called Moon Jar. 

In the past Namjoon posted two pictures on their twt with Moon Jars as well.

First we saw President Moon praise BTS as “BTS are obviously the greatest artists, the best artists of our time and they have been conveying this message of unity and hope through their music” during their interview that followed their UN speech when he was asked why he chose to appoint them as Special Envoy, and then we had the First Lady praise by saying: “Our BTS aren't just good at singing, they're not just good at performance. They actually have a deep appreciation for art exhibits and they study a lot as well.” 

Truly Koreas pride.

Vmin sidenote: though it’s a little hard to tell in this screenshot, and especially with the logo kind of in the way, I still am very happy to see that we also got a tiny little glimpse at Tae with his hand on Jimin’s shoulder as they were approaching another part of the exhibit, as well as (I assume) telling Jimin about one of the flutes that was part of the exhibit since, after this screenshot, he did a hand motion that mimicked a flute and how you play one.

Following the tour of the Korea Gallery, they found their way onto the rooftop for a gathering and different speeches, among them also Namjoon taking the podium for the second time that Monday looking stunning and truly in his element, a connoisseur of art getting to showcase his passion and deliver his words with his leader charm.

Since it’s a very nice speech, I’d like to add the whole thing here for you to read. Namjoon gave his speech in Korean so this is a translation done by ryuminating on twt:

I am BTS’ leader, Kim Namjoon. I'm afraid you might not be able to hear me because of the helicopter, so I'll speak loudly. Firstly, the Metropolitan Museum is a place I really love in New York and I took a picture here 2 years ago when I came to visit myself. I am so honored to be able to speak with you like this on such a beautiful day, next to this artwork that I love very much, Corte's mobile. Truthfully, I nearly forgot what I was going to say because of this view, but I'll do my best to keep going. 

 Really, my heart is fluttering from coming here this time around with such a public responsibility. As I visited the Korea Gallery earlier with the First Lady and distinguished guests, I was overwhelmed with emotions and had many different thoughts. In particular, it was meaningful and new to be able to view Korean art in New York, a city where many people around the world want to come to so much, as you said earlier, the art mecca, America's New York. I believe we are able to be here right now thanks to the many people working hard to show the greatness of Korean culture. We are so very honored and pleased to be able to present to you a Korean artist's work in this way. And, as an art lover and fan of Korean art, I am especially joyful. 

In truth, while K-pop, K-drama, and K-films are prominent parts of K-culture, there are truly amazing Korean artists who have not yet been discovered by those outside our country and they are working so very diligently. 

As Special Presidential Envoys representing Korea, we will work hard with a sense of duty to spread further the greatness of Korean culture and to broaden the potential of K-culture. 

And the next time we come, as there are many artworks here at The Met that I personally really, really love, I'd like to return and admire the Korea Gallery and the incredible collections here at The Met, as myself, human being Kim Namjoon. Once again, thank you. (switches to english) Thank you.

Though of course all the members were proud of Namjoon, obviously, clapping for him and everything, I do love how JK clapped the highest and then also clapped Namjoon on the back once he returned to his chair.

Lastly, before we take a peak at the fashion the members wore during their time at the MET (this segment entirely inspired by JKs absolutely magnificent pants), I’d like for us to look at this picture of Bangtan along with the First Lady and other distinguished guests. This one looks normal enough, doesn’t it, though the expression on the guy bottom right still makes me laugh a little despite having looked at this picture already plenty of times.

But then we have this version and, let me tell you, when I first saw it, I couldn’t stop laughing for a solid minute or more. Look at Tae doing the peace sign and then look at Jimin watching him, expression a little shocked because really, would Tae have lowered his hand just a little, he would’ve ended up giving the First Lady bunny ears. Fear the double bunny, anyone?

Though I also love how, after this picture made its way onto twt it was quickly picked up by vminnies and non-shipper ARMY and dubbed as “in a room (or on a rooftop) full of people, Jiminie still only has eyes for his soulmate” which, I mean, they’re not wrong, are they?

Also, Hobi’s smile and thumbs up, love it.

Now, as I mentioned before, let’s talk about their fashion for their MET visit. The second we caught sight of them being there, the one thing that had everyone screaming were, obviously, JKs black and gray pants because, really, look at them?!

As expected all of them were dressed head to toe in LV but still each of them received an outfit that fit with their style and colors that suit them so very well. Going back to JKs pants, those along with that black shirt, rolled up sleeves, exposed tattoos and piercing, and his hair with that curl on one side? Absolutely show stopping and no one can convince me otherwise. I love and admire his confidence to show off his tattoos in a room full of people from an older generation that might have looked down on the ink, and yet I think they fit perfectly with the outfit. Someone give his stylist a bonus for this one.

In a way this also shows how, despite the more general public opinion in Korea when it comes to tattoos, it seems that the President and First Lady don’t mind Bangtan looking just the way they do, that JK didn’t have to hide his tattoos nor his piercing, that Hobi could have his pink hair, and Yoongi in silver. It’s something small in the grand scheme of things, yet it’s still meaningful, could help change the opinion on tattoos and alike, that it isn’t just something “bad boys” and people from “the wrong side of the tracks” have, but also people like Bangtan or, more generally, good and “normal” people. After all it isn’t more than art on your skin, or dye in your hair.

I also really like Tae’s warm, light brown, almost a little beige, pant and jacket combo though I am left wondering why they didn’t give him the jacket in at least a size smaller since the belt doesn’t sit on his waist but more on his hips which looks little unflattering at times, and yet, because its Tae we’re talking about, he still looks absolutely stunning. The same also goes for Hobi’s simple yet elegant crewneck and Jimin’s and Yoongi’s jackets. Seokjin with the blue button-down looks very eye-catching since it’s a color standing out from the others, and Namjoon’s black pants and dark brown button-down also look very elegant.

With that their Monday came to an end after lots of stress, speeches, interviews and walking around. Busy doesn’t even begin to cover it, at all, especially since it was said they’d been up filming the Permission to Dance performance from 1 am until after sunrise. And yet they did it all flawlessly.

On Tuesday, though we have no idea what they are up to all day, one thing we do know is that they (so far) met Megan Thee Stallion since she posted a few selcas with them on her twt and IG.

After everything that happened in regard to Thee Butter Remix, I’m so happy they got to meet Megan. She looks so pretty, and barefaced Bangtan look great as well. Love how JK is holding on to Namjoon and Seokjin, and how Tae, Jimin and Hobi are kind of imitating her signature AH tongue out. Namjoon’s dimple also makes an appearance and, once again, I am just so weak for this man.

If this is all that’ll happen today, I have my doubts, but that’s all we know of their Tuesday as of me writing this. I hope after how busy and packed Monday was, that today they got a little room to breath as well.
