Eldritch/not-entirely-human Grunkle Stan stories have been eating away at my brain, so I have a silly little concept of Mimic!Stan.

He and his Mystery Shack are both mimics that lure tourists in as a literal "tourist trap" to gather and devour them! Since the house is alive, it raises a few (read: several) child safety concerns that lead to a LOT of rules to be created for Dipper and Mabel to follow when they eventually arrive, such as:

Be careful not to get lost in the winding hallways! The Mystery Shack is bigger on the inside, and you don't want to end up in the wrong areas.

Don't go through randomly appearing doors, they may eat you.

If you think you feel the walls around you breathing and the floor beneath you shifting, no, you don't.

If you think the walls feel a bit damp, you're imagining it.

Watch your fingers around windowsills! You wouldn't want to lose any of them.

Don't linger too long under the doorframes; it may start feeling like they are slowly constricting around you.

I find it highly amusing how in situations where the ninja are separated/it's just the OG four, Kai and Zane immediately assume control/start spearheading the team because apparently no one else is sane enough or in the right mind to do so.

Your honour, they literally have one of the best dynamics in the show, with how they're probably the most protective people in the team. And it makes me mad how this is overlooked by the fandom and the show.

I do think garp and Zoro would get on splendidly. As they are after all the same flavor of person.

Oh hey what about a groundhogs day event where the hero has to relive their traumatic “One Bad Day”-esque backstory but it’s another hero they either know really well and the only way to break the loop is letting that horrible event happen

Bc I’m basic my first thought was “Oh, this would absolutely tear up anyone having to walk down crime alley knowing way too well what’s about to happen”

But I’m also obsessed with my blorbo so my other thought was “Omg lol, imagine if one of the adult heroes ended up in Billy’s body just before his parents left to go die on their dig and think maybe they can save their co-worker the tragedy he faced so young only for every attempt they succeed at getting them to stay keep the loop going and they realize they have to let them go and doom this kid all over again. Haha, extra points if the loop actually lasts from that point to them actually dying so they wake up the next day thinking they failed again only for it to be tomorrow and suddenly Uncle E gets the call that his brother and sister in law are dead and then whoever is in Billy’s body is getting thrown out with a suitcase realizing maybe the nightmare is going to last longer.”

Sell me on Bad Buddy, I've been blowing off watching it and I saw how many fics you've written for it. Is it worth getting into?

Yes. The most emphatic yes I could ever give.

BBS was a cultural reset in terms of BL because we circumvented a lot of those annoying tropes that we hated in BL’s: miscommunication as breakup reasons, husband/wife labels, the girl who causes problems, lack of lesbians and a lot more. It also discussed homophobia in society uniquely… by that I mean you don’t even realize we’re discussing it.

You have interesting characters that do grow, characters that fuck up and learn from their mistakes, characters that become your ultimate fave in a second. You also have the insane chemistry and acting prowess of both Ohm Pawat and Nanon Korapat. Their emotional beats are fucking fantastic and so is their comedic timing. And the direction of P’Aof was chef’s kiss. Even the product placement is so goddamn well done that when I see those products now, all I can remember is BBS.

Bad Buddy was the peak of GMMTV’s projects and after it, nothing has come close.

It was Romeo and Juliet but a million times better and it will forever be one of my favourite series. Of course, it is not without its flaws. There is only one critique I will hear against it: not saying what cause no spoilies from me even if the show has been out for… fuck me is it three years?? - but other than that, BBS was perfect and it was the epitome of what a good BL story could do.

This is an entirely unbiased opinion of course 🤣♥️🥰

Great question! For like the first two years of running this blog it was basically just a mental database. Like genuinely I just knew them. There's a few cats that I've always had trouble telling apart (like Minx's cats or Martyn's cats) but I used to be able to ID most of them off a photo without you even telling me which CC owned them.

These days it's a bit more to keep track of, I update this blog less often, and I spend less time stalking CCs on social media for cat photos. It is much more difficult for me to remember all their names. So right now, if I forget a cat name, I normally just search this blog for the CC name. My tagging over the years has benefitted me because it allows me to double check things very easily!

Sometimes I go to reblog a post with a counter opinion but then I realize that it is not worth it and people will continue to interpret media the way they want until the end of time and i should just make my own post.

Anyways I do think it's important to remember that they film these seasons in quick succession. The PCs have not had 5 months to grow attached to the NPCs like the audience has. It's been like 2 weeks for them. Also yall are acting like this was the finale. The season isn't over until it's over, we still don't know what will happen. They could lose for all we know, Brennan has been prepared for that in past seasons.
