I figured I should put this here since I post almost solely ynfg stuff anyway and it'd get drowned out in my main, so I'm putting my hallucigenia hc/theory/whatever stuff here its very long but the short version is that Aya is a very protective mother with very little self worth
-Aya is aines mother, with Aya working at a theater that had various plays. I'd put Aya at 28 and aine at 7~8? -Each role in the theater is represented by the effects from older versions, with Aya sometimes filling in various roles when their usual actors were unavailable(this is why she's able to collect them despite them varying wildly in appearance). when she wasn't standing in for others shed usually play the role of indigo or red -aines father is the guy who gave you the purple effect(I'm calling him Murasaki for now) in older versions. hes immature for his age and doesn't take things seriously, which is why you find him spinning around and why his effect would mess with your movement -Murasaki actually does fine as a dad despite his personality, its just that both him and Aya were often busy so they'd let aine wander around and play in the theater as long as she didn't disrupt anything -aya has had a doll named Rusia(its the doll you find in the circus that the indigo effect made you look like, its name comes from the file name for the big picture of it) since she was young. she feels embarrassed over still being attached to it, but it means too much to her for her to be willing to get rid of it. indigos appearance is directly based off of rusia -aya does not have the best sense of self worth. she feels better when shes performing bc shed prefer to pretend to be anyone other than herself, and this is why her dream self looks so different than how she actually does(more on that in a bit) -aine is a very...creative kid, making stories based off of the theaters plays. bc said plays were often dark this would be reflected in her stories, and they form of the basis of a picture book she made in a spare journal titled "Hallucigenia". Hallucigenia contains drawings of various locations that aine imagined, and these locations are the basis of the dream worlds -aya is very protective of aine and wont hesitate to get physical if she feels like aine is being threatened. this is why she has multiple weapon effects, and it also leads to: -aines right arm was lost in an accident where heavy stage equipment was accidentally dropped on her. Aya flew into a rage over this and attacked the person who dropped it, killing them. she had been performing the red role that day, which is why red used to be the weapon effect -aya got put in jail for this and murasaki had to take care of aine in her place. the stage equipment accident made him very wary of letting aine back in the theater so he'd often leave her home alone while he was at work(this is why she spends the game cooped up in her bedroom) -aya was occasionally allowed visitors, and aine was one of them. she felt bad for Aya due to her not having anything to do, so she gave her Hallucigenia to read -while Aya appreciated the gesture, it was just a picture book made by a kid, so it wasn't exactly the most entertaining thing. still, it was all that she had available, so she got into the habit of daydreaming while going over the pictures, imagining herself exploring them -dream Aya(who im going to refer to as Indigo to make this less confusing) was born from Aya having a hard time imagining herself in her daydreams. indigo is essentially her ideal self, someone who can actually handle things and isn't as much of a wreck as she had become in jail. her appearance and name come from ayas time performing the role of indigo, and Aya has started to form an unhealthy obsession with her -aine still remembered most of hallucigenia, and often dreams about the locations in it. this is why she shares a lot of ayas dream worlds, but not all of them- her memory isn't perfect -aya will never admit it but shes still a bit of a chuuni at heart lol

thought of Raikou and her heavenly king
I like Raikou a lot, but I'd be lying if I said anything to say about her. Out of all characters in Sakurai's recreation of Tsukihime, Raikou is by far the most derivative, to the point I really can't think of any Raikou character trait that isn't also present in Akiha. In fact, Raikou was the starting point from which I started noticing the connections that made the post above. For maybe 2 years, it was only Raikou=Akiha in my brain.
That said, Raikou was a very important personal step in my relationship with the other character. I don't think I need to anyone that, but Akiha is a very unapproachable figure and at least the original version of her route didn't help me at all with that. The first time I felt something positive about Akiha was when Hisui's route clarified the true nature of her relationship with Kohaku. For years, my take on Akiha has been "I don't like her individually, but I like her relationship with Kohaku", which is the one Akiha thing that Raikou lacks. However, as I found myself enjoying Raikou content, my reaction was obviously "Wait, I like Akiha now, actually".
My biggest hope for Raikou in Samurai Remnant is that the new context allows her to shine in ways that distance herself from her Tsukihime inspiration (and vice-versa as my hope for Red Garden) because I checked my tags for this and to this day I still haven't ever failed to mention one in a meta post about the other.
Kintoki for the longest time existed as a joke character and not one of the funny ones, as the protagonist of Heian, he's perfect. I love the idea of seeing a Heroic Spirit as a complete person secure of the ideals he stands for and then meeting his living counterpart in a period when the world he defended still leaves him lost and unsure of what he wants and cares for. I loved to see so much of Fate/Zero's Kirei reflected in such an ambiguously good guy, and I love especially Kintoki's relationship with Douman.
Tsuna I don't like. His role and backstory are quite well fit for Heian's themes, as just some guy who went so above his expected fate through the sheer power of caring, but Heian is a story as rich of The Tale of Genji intertextuality as it is of Tsukihime intertextuality, and I can't help but draw the worst possible implications out of Tsuna's backstory being meant to mirror Hikaru-gimi's relationship to Fujitsubo and Murasaki.
Urabe and Sadamitsu aren't in Fate/ yet, and honestly, I don't feel any need for them to be unless something super original is done with them. Urabe's fatherly archer archetype sorta overlaps too much with Tell, and Sadamitsu's only interesting legend is when he found the feral Kintoki and brought him to the civilization. Considering his initiative to take Kintoki to the human side, Sadamitsu could have potential as a character who actively wants to bridge the gaps between humans and non-humans whenever possible, but not in FGO, where the human and oni Servants are already sharing Chaldea's space without the need of his intervention.

Could I have a match up please! And for (Demon Slayer, JJBA and Hunter x Hunter)
I’m a goth girl who has a bit of a sassy attitude, I can quite rude but a playful kinda rude if that makes sense. I also have a dark sense of humor. I also tend to keep to myself and only really open up to people I’ve gotten close too. And once you get to know me I’m pretty chill and sweet most of the time! uwu, I also have huge confidence since I have 13 tattoos across my body.
My zodiac sign is a libra uwu
My favorite hobbies are writing for fun, drawing, playing video games and I love collecting plushies! I love drawing horror type of stuff and I enjoy writing stuff for my favorite fandoms. And my favorite video games are fighting ones like mortal kombat for example.
I love// Goth Fashion, Art, Heavy Metal, Video Games, Horror Movies/Slashers, Cute adorable plushies, I also adore blankets, I enjoy spicy food and spicy ramen, I also have an obsession anything strawberry related. My favorite things are Tattoos, I love getting them (besides the horrible pain) and I love looking at them uwu
I dislike// I hate whenever people talk down on me for having tattoos and for my sense of dark goth fashion. I hate people who try touching my things without my permission, and I also hate centipedes because they are ugly and gross and I don’t understand why they need so many legs.
When I’m looking in for a partner I’m looking for someone who I can laugh and joke around, someone who wouldn’t mind my tattoos and goth fashion, I want someone who’ll love my sassy attitude and obsession of plushies uwu
My sexual preference is bisexual // I don’t mind uwu
I added this for a bonus // My appearance // I’m a 4’11 girl ,, who’s around 97 pounds. I have short hair, and freckles all over my body. I have 13 tattoos all over my body, my legs, thighs and arms, and one on my back and chest. I’m always wearing a small choker. But when I dress up I love wearing my huge chokers, black lipstick, black eyeshadow, and black clothes. With my huge platforms that give me an extra 6 inches. uwu
a/n: bruh i had suchhhh a hard time choosing bw kakyoin + josuke for you 🥺 also bw chrollo + shizuku. anyways, i hope you enjoy, love 💞
hunter x hunter
i match you with shizuku murasaki! as a goth girl herself, she would never ever judge you or bother you about your fashion. she’d actually identify with it quite a bit + sometimes you guys might even share clothes! she’s also a lover of both gorey + adorable things, so together you are buried underneath a mountain of soft, cute plushies while watching the latest slasher thriller. shizuku’s personality and humor can be described as a bit dry, but she thoroughly enjoys your dark sense of humor. to this day, the rest of the troupe swears you are the only one who can make shizuku laugh. you’re able to bring out the funny, almost humorous side of shizuku with your overall attitude + personality. you both feel really secure in your relationship because of your combined bluntness. if something isn’t right, there’s no drama, it’s solved almost immediately. shizuku also has a habit of bringing you back a choker from each one of her missions, since she looovvvessss seeing you wear them.
(i'm so sorry for the fanservicey gif, it was the only decent one from 2011 hxh that i could find 😔)
kimetsu no yaiba
i match you with douma! the way y’all would get along is terrifying. you’re like two peas in a pod, but he’s slightly creepier than you, but doesn’t ever let you see that side of him. if he could do one thing for the rest of his eternal life, it would be to sit + laugh with you. you can make each other laugh in a split second, + you guys share the same type of humor. others might be frightened by the jokes you make, but you guys get each other perfectly. douma also is absolutely infatuated with your fashion sense, especially your tattoos. he loves to have you sit in his lap or lay across his legs while he traces each + every one of your tattoos with his long nails. he also likes to feed your obsessions. would buy you every single fluffy plushie in the world if he could. he’s also super duper affectionate + loves to just pick you up + squeeze you since you’re tiny compared to him. he likes to say you’re his own personal plushie 🥺
jojo’s bizarre adventure
i match with you kakyoin noriaki! this sassy, gamer boy bitch. as soon as he heard you like combat/fighter style games, he’s infatuated. you guys could stay up for hourssss playing video games with each other, but he’ll usually fall asleep first. you’ll be playing with him then all of a sudden his character stops fighting back + you turn to see him snoozing on your shoulder. he’s adorable. he absolutely loves to watch you draw + study your artwork. he’s somewhat of an artist himself + a perfect afternoon for him could be just y’all sitting against each other + drawing, stopping occasionally to show each other or ask for each other’s opinions. kakyoin is terrified of getting a tattoo since he has a lower pain tolerance but he’s always wanted one—he’s so jealous that you have so many cool tattoos. maybe one day you can convince him to start out with a small one, but he’ll only agree if you accompany him to hold his hand 🥺

- Tenshinhan sleeps with his third eye open becasue he thinks it is good practice to be perpetually vigilante but what he doesnt know is that if he's sleeping really hard then all of his eyes will close becasue he's just sleeping so hard man. Yamucha sees this and one day their conversation is comfortable enough that Yamucha can ask him "is there any particular pattern as to or reason for when you sleep with all eyes closed or just the one open?" To which Tenshinhan responds with. "Why are you watching me sleep."
- He wakes up at 7:00 AM SHARP every morning WITHOUT any sort of alarm btw.
- He could eat tree bark without issue or fanfare if he really applied himself.
- He's actually the most interesting character in dragon ball after Launch and the most perfect character after Launch. He's 4th in line in terms of aesthetic deliciousness and intrigue (Murasaki, Launch, General Blue, Ten)
- He does have a hot boy summer with Yamucha but it's not forever. As a martial artist he is very intuned with himself and the art of discipline, and at first he finds the nature of attraction to be disorderly, but after a conversation with Yamucha he decides that it's a feeling like any other that should acknowledged and even danced with, because that's life. But also like any feeling or emotion, it has its say and then it passes, and Ten lets it leave with everpresent serenity and grace. He is still good friends with Yamucha and he cares about him and loves him and they understand each other and Ten still wants to see him, but he is no longer physically or sensually attracted to him, and that should be fine & good & natural but Yamucha takes it kind of hard and starts hitting the bourbon
- Hes such an interesting guy like honestly .. He shows up. He's bald. He has a little buddy who is his BFF. I think that Ten needs that, I think that it's in his natal chart, it's in the stars - hes a self-sufficient independent reserved kind of guy but he NEEDS a little buddy in his lifetime. For some reason. And Chaozu is fully self-actualized I think, he's independent, he doesnt need a buddy. Chaozu is sociable enough and would enjoy traveling and taking strangers out for coffee just to see what sorts of things they talk about. He comes to be Over this coil of turmoil and violence, he wants to have coffee with strangers. But Ten needs a little buddy so he hangs around yknow
And Ten has 3 eyes for some reason i guess just to make his character visually interesting without being too obtuse or exhausting, since he was to become a good guy, and Toriyama didnt really know how to draw the 3rd eye with the natural sauce that he was able to draw the other two with, so it looks sort of stupid and superfluous. And the fact that he has 3 eyes does come up but not that thoroughly. Like he has sharper optic abilities for it OK so what. Goku could have done that too if you had given him like 5 extra minutes and 20 extra push-ups.
And when Ten and Chaozu show up at the tournament it is ON SIGHT for Ten and Yamucha for NO REASON. There is no beef. Goku had that run-in with them prior, not Yanucha. Why is there beef? Theres, like, no drama, theres really no problem. AND YET .. IMMEDIATELY .. Ten and Yamucha start bad-mouthing each other and cutting each other with repartee like WHYYYYY there was really NO ISSUE here.....! And then Ten breaks Yamucha's leg for it. It's so overwrought and catty.
And then throughout the tournament Ten starts to have a moral crisis becasue Roshi plucked at the shred of virtue in Ten's heart by making him live with the ignominy of that sort of "victory," thus forcing Ten to confront Roshi after the fact which is also ibso facto Ten confronting that shred of virtue.
And I havent seen it yet but I know that Launch falls in love with him and I'm so looking forward to that
And Ten is just this Guy and if I hadnt seen him in Z already then I would be so senselessly enamoured becasue like ... he shows up ... hes evil for NO reason ... he has 3 eyes for NO reason ... hes super strong becasue anything is possible ... he has a soul that runs deep and a contemplative mind .. the ocean of his being has been colored with spilled blood and hes starting to see it for the pollutant that it is ... he wears the muscle mass so well and the art is good .. And he has a little buddy who doesnt need him as much as Ten need him and we never even see that but i just happen to know it. What a guy

1- Do you listen to music when you write?
Yes a lot ! Except when I'm proofreading otherwise I can't focus. Someone ask me the same question I went more in details that might interest you here
11- Books and/or authors who influenced you the most
Oh there is too many people but I'll say what inspired me for this fic especially
Eiji Yoshikawa who wrote a fiction about the life of famous swordman Musashi Miyamoto (who will inspired Takeshi Inoue to draw Vagabond by the way).
Miyamoto Musashi himself wrote his memoirs in the book of five rings.
Sun Zu and the Art of War.
Sei Shonagon she was a writer from the Heian court in the 10th century
Murasaki Shikibu, an other noble writer from the Heian court, she wrote the famous book The tales of Genji, and my Genji Hikaru is a direct hommage to hers. In her book, the prince is a poet running for honour and ladies and mine is like the dark version : "Naahh I don't want to do poetry...I wanna fight Madara Uchiha and conquer the world."
Ibn Khaldun a 14th century historian and philosopher, who wrote a universal history book called Muqaddimah. There is theories about civilisations cycles, sociology and economy.
G.R.R. Martin for his way to always surprise and trick the readers. I love how he built his plots.
Michel of Greece who is an actual European prince and an author, he wrote a lot of fictions based on historical figures. My favourite is Louis XIV, the other side of the sun a fiction about the life of the King of France who took back his power after having beeing traumatized by a nobles rebellion in his youth.
The clan of the Otori from Lian Hearn.
J.K. Rowling for the whole Harry Potter saga. I love her world building it's not too big like GRR martin, it's the right size.
Victor Hugo for Les Miserables and his poetry.
Talking about poetry hard to not mention, Arthur Rimbaud, Baudelaire, John Keats and Rumi. I'm obsessed by them.
Not a book in particular but the real japanese warring state era (from 1467 to 1615 BC) is a source of inspiration with his most famous figures : Oda Nobunaga, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Hideyoshi Toyotomi
24- Favourite genre to write and read
Without a surprise I like historical stories, with large world building intrigues and conspiracy. It's just an excuse for me to talk about everything at once lol : society, politics, psychology, war, love, family issue you name it... In future I'd like to write a romance, it's a bit a challenge because I don't think I'm really good at it. But I love true romance, not teenage love where there is nothing to loose. but when two characters have to deal a relationship which challenge their values and involve the world around them.
And a tend to read less fiction nowadays because I watch tv shows instead. But now I read more things who will teach me something like essay on philosophy and sociology and spirituality.
40- Share some backstory for one of your characters
Ok I need to be careful not to spoil my future chapters...😋
Aiko
I'll take this opportunity to clarify who she is since I talked with some of my readers and there was some ambiguity (I'll rewrite it later when the book is finished) . She's not blood-related to Madara or Izuna. She has her own family. Madara's mother were her wet nurse and she breastfed both Izuna and Aiko in the same time. Both families were very close to the point Aiko can come inside Tajima's house without knocking the door. She was very loved by Madara's mother. In a way she was the daughter she never had. For Madara she was like a little sister.
Reiki
The idea for this character came one day while I was scrolling instagram and I saw this video :
youtube
At the time I knew I wanted an OC who won't be a kunoichi to force Madara out of his comfort zone. But I have no idea of who? how? where? when? Then I see this mysterious girl dancing on a beach with so much grace and confidence, and yet we can't see her face... I knew that was this energy I was looking for. And then her backstory slowly flourish from there. For now (chapter 6) you don't know enough about her, but later it will make sense to you all.
thank you for your questions !
here the original list of questions

The (not so) lil master that could
Rex was sitting at a desk in an art studio. He was practicing his art with Da Vinci (caster) over looking his practice. He was practicing with human anatomy, with Cleopatra as the model. This wasn't the first time he'd tried this but he had an unfortunate habit of being over critical of himself. Da Vinci was well aware of this, many times when she tried to give him some criticism he'd take it way worse then she intended and end up dropping it for a long time.
Rex: uh... I might be close to being finished?
Da Vinci: are you sure? How do you feel about it?
Rex took a look at his sketch, the anatomy wasn't amazing and the clothing was a bit inaccurate.
Rex: no... it's crap.
Da Vinci: it's not that bad... I've told you before not to be over critical of your art.
Rex: but it's true. I shouldn't even try...
Da Vinci: hey! Stop giving up! You won't get anywhere doing that!
But Rex wasn't listening and he got up and left.
Cleo: what happened?
Da Vinci: he gave up. *sigh* he needs to stop dropping this stuff so quickly.
Cleo: well let me see the picture.
Da Vinci showed the picture to Cleopatra
Cleo: I mean... it's not so bad. I can see potential... he should keep going.
Da Vinci: that's what I've been trying to tell him...
Eventually Rex was in the writer's room this time trying his hand at writing a story. He was too disappointed in the art he tried so he hoped writing would be more his speed. Murasaki was there to help like Da Vinci with the art. Just like with the art and anything he tried, he was too critical of his own writing. Murasaki wanted to help him get better and to keep at it but she was too shy, the only reason she's helping instead of others is because folks like Shakespeare and Anderson annoyed him a bit too much so she's the better option.
Murasaki: how's the manuscript? Is it going well?
Rex: ...not sure... why don't you take a look?
Murasaki took a look at what he wrote.
Murasaki: it's pretty good so far... but this part seems a bit forced.
Rex: *sigh* so what do you think I should do instead?
Murasaki: stories need to flow naturally... try to take a bit of a realistic view on it.
Rex: hmmm...
As he reread the story, he became more and more dissatisfied with it. He noticed many errors and moments where the characters' dialog didn't seem right.
Rex: y'know what... maybe I shouldn't try...
Murasaki: wait! Please don't give up master!
Rex: why keep going? It's crap...
He got up and left, Murasaki just watched him as she wasn't very confrontational. Not that it would help as Da Vinci could tell you.
Murasaki: *sigh* not again...
Eventually Murasaki and Da Vinci met up in the hall and Da Vinci had a question for Murasaki.
Da Vinci: have you seen Rex?
Murasaki: no, he was writing earlier but he got over critical again and left.
Da Vinci: of course. He needs to work on his self esteem issues. I know you're always your own worst critic but he won't even let the ink dry before he burns the canvas.
Murasaki: did he go that far?!
Da Vinci: no... but it wouldn't surprise me. I'm going to keep looking, he needs to end this whole hyper critical crap!
Murasaki: alright, but don't be too abrasive with him, he may shut down entirely on the subject.
Da Vinci: *sigh* he needs a therapy session or something.
As she continued to look, she passes by the gym and hears his voice.
Rex: how was that?
???: your almost there! Let's try one more time!
Da Vinci: there he is!
She went into the gym, to see him in the wrestling wring. He was sparring with Quetzalcoatl, specifically lucha libre moves. This wasn't the first time he'd done this. In fact he'd been practicing with her for ages now.
Da Vinci, thinking: hey... how come he's never dropped this? When he first came in he had no interest in most physical activities. He was overweight and rarely left his room, but now look at him.
Da Vinci left the gym for now, but she planned to confront him about this later.
Later on Rex was walking back to his room, tired from the training he just endured. Then Da Vinci came in to question him.
Da Vinci: Rex!
Rex: ah!
Da Vinci: there you are!
Rex, nervously: what do you want?
Da Vinci: I've got some questions for you.
Rex: I dunno if I wanna answer
Da Vinci: too bad. Why do you keep dropping art and writing and such!? You have real potential for those things. But then I see you practicing hand to hand combat and you've stuck to it for so long! I've read your file, and have seen your behavior firsthand before all this and you never struck me as the athletic type.
Rex: ...well if you want the answer, then I've got a story to tell.
Da Vinci: by all means.
It was relatively far back, a while after Camelot was dealt with. Rex and Quetz were at the rec room watching Lucha matches. They had just finished one up, and you could see just how pumped Quetz got.
Quetz: wow! Wasn't that amazing master?!
Rex: it was pretty intense...
Quetz: I still can't believe you've never watched a match before. It's so increible!
Rex: I dunno... just never peaked my interest that much, but you make it way more interesting then I thought it'd be.
Quetz: gracias! When I first layed eyes on this amazing spectacle I couldn't help how awe struck I felt. I knew I had to master it.
Rex: ...I've noticed most of the time they have a partner. If you were ever in the ring for a serious match, who'd you want to be your partner?
Rex had asked simply out of curiosity, he expected her to say Martha or Scathach or some other powerful servant. But what she said surprised the hell out of him.
Quetz turned towards him, and before she said anything she held both of his hands in hers and gave him her answer.
Quetz: I actually think you'd be an amazing partner!
Rex couldn't believe what he heard. Him? Why?! He wasn't coordinated, he was a bit fat, and he was barely any good fighting without a weapon. If anyone that knew him from before chaldea was there, they'd expect him to give her a "no thanks" because that's the kind of person he was. But what he did say, would've surprised any of his family or former friends.
Rex: ...I'd love to!
Quetz: you would!?
Rex: yes! Anything for you!
Quetz: yay! Let's get started with your training!
Rex: now?!
Quetz: well.. it's actually getting late, how about tomorrow?
Rex: sure...
Back in the present day.
Da Vinci: of course, I knew it had to be her. You continue on to make her happy.
Rex: yeah... there's been many times where I was ready to quit training with her. It's painful, and just like with other things, I don't see what I do as good enough. But everytime I see her face beam with excitement for my training, I keep going. I do it for her, I want to be her perfect partner, she has high hopes and I can't disappoint her.
Da Vinci: but you can't put that effort for things you enjoy?
Rex: ...not really...
Da Vinci: ...why don't you show her your art or writing?
Rex: no! She'll think it's stupid.
Da Vinci: only you think that way... or at least that critically anyways. Regardless, I'm showing her!
As she said this she left to find Quetz and show her the picture he drew.
Rex: don't! It's too stupid!
Despite pleading with her he couldn't get her to budge on the subject, she was determined to do this. After a bit of the two walking and their back and fourth they finally ran into Quetz.
Quetz: Hola mi amor! Hola Da Vinci! What's going on?
Da Vinci: Quetzalcoatl, I've got something to show you!
Rex: pls don't look!
Quetz: why not mi amor?
Rex: it's crap!
Da Vinci: stop thinking that way!
As she says this she hands the paper to Quetz. She over looked it for a bit.
Quetz: mi amor, did you draw this?
Rex: yeah... it's crap I know
Quetz: no! It's actually pretty nice! I think you did a fine job!
Rex: huh?! You can't be serious!
Quetz: of course I am!
Rex: for real?!
Da Vinci: I've been trying to tell you!
Quetz: si! Don't look down at your art mi amor! It's really good!
Rex: ...you sure?
Quetz: si! You've got potential and I'd love to see you continue!
Rex was now filled more confidence then ever! He was ready to get back into it! Especially if it was for her!
Over time he'd get back into drawing and writing and even got into a bit of cooking. It was all for Quetzalcoatl of course! But he also never stopped training to be her lucha partner! He was ready for the day they'd have a match up together.
A/N: there ya go. Had this idea brewing most of work. Sometimes we're more willing to do things for others then ourselves, but that can still be a good motivator.

HANNIBAL & REPLACING THE FATHER FIGURE.
in hannibal’s life he’s often shown as a calculating individual with a penchant for a bit of pseudo-incest and experimental therapy practices. he’s shown to have a soft spot for women, usually from the late twenties to late thirties, because his mother was that age when she died and his fixation wasn’t quelled; he drew in women attracted to his vulnerability and used that for his own personal comfort/sexual gratification.
in both the books and the tv shows/movies, we see hannibal surrounding himself with women. the first being the lady murasaki, of whom he fell in love with at a young age. only a few months into living with his uncle roberto and murasaki, roberto dies from a heart attack and the young hannibal is forced to step into the man’s role; he fends off offenses for his aunt, even going so far as to kill the butcher that says some racist shit to her in the market.
when he becomes of age, sixteen, the lady murasaki asks him to move into his dorms at school because she feared what he would become if she continued to foster his affection. even still, upon visiting this dorm (to make sure he’s doing alright) she finds multiple drawings of her on his wall near the bed, one being of her naked from the waist up.
hannibal envisions a future with the lady murasaki, although his daydreams about such a thing are cut short due to the incident with Vladis and the boat.
clarice is another important link to his story. with clarice, after the incident at Muskrat Farms, he starts their conversations with light therapy and a sedative, which she rarely notices. in one instance he leaves her with her father’s belt buckle, something she’s known since childhood. when he familiarizes her with thoughts of her father, he introduces the idea that he’s brought her father with him, for clarice to see. she responds excitedly, like a child, clapping her hands. doctor lecter put his hands on the sides of starlings head, over her temporal lobes, which could supply her with all of her father she would ever need. and then he leaves.
starling has a conversation and hallucinates that she’s sitting in the kitchen of her mother’s old house, sharing an orange and a sno-ball with her dad. she tells him that she misses him and that her work has been down on her, which ends with her father telling her that he’s proud of her.
some days later, hannibal puts clarice under deep hypnosis with hypnotic drugs and proceeds to ask her about her father; under his supervision and clear psychological grooming, she begins to pull apart her father -- both as a lawmen and as a family man. before the EDM and psilocybin treatments, clarice often regarded her father as someone that could do no bad.
however, with doctor lecter’s therapy, she begins to take apart her father in a way that she could not as an child. she remarks, herself, that if anybody else spoke about her father this way she would’ve slapped them --- she’s still extremely attached, but she’s slowly breaking down his character through intense therapy.
immediately after this, hannibal takes her to a bedroom where her father’s remains are laid out, bleached and cleaned; the ribs are missing, due to degradation and time, but everything else is intact. she cries, curled up like child, and holds her daddy’s skull to her cheek.
clarice tells hannibal, “i love my daddy, he was as good to me as he knew how to be. it was the best time i ever had.”
which leads into the scene in NBC Hannibal, in which abigail and hannibal are sitting across from one another in his front room. she admits to him that hunting with her father was the best time she’s ever had, that he loved her in the way he knew how. we can see a light reflect on hannibal’s face when she stands, which, to me, seem like the EDM therapy light he uses on mariam lass.
we get a shot of abigail holding her father’s deer-antler hunting knife and the clear outline of moth’s on her blouse (which, if you haven’t watched or seen silence of the lambs, is a big nod to clarice’s story) when she comes forward, slitting her father’s throat. hannibal doesn’t move, having kneeled in front of her chair, and when she stands to kill her father, he continues to stare at the space that she occupied in the chair; as if abigail is still in the chair. to me, i think she was still in the chair and hallucinated herself standing up and slicing hobb’s throat.
we see shots of hannibal and abigail on different days, always talking about garret jacob hobbs, in the same way we see hannibal and clarice speak about her own father. he helps abigail under the guise of affection and love, to overcome the barrier that keeps her from moving on. however, unlike hannibal, abigail has emotion and empathy and she’s clearly driven by her need to belong some place, any place, really.
hannibal uses that to manipulate her and, despite her efforts to hate will graham, instills a love for him; he even goes so far as to make her believe that will is an important component in their plan and that they cannot go further without him. he literally manipulates abigail into loving will graham. i mean, why would she? he literally killed her dad.
whether or not genuine, hannibal often replaces the father figure with himself. he breaks down character’s by their love for their dead loved ones (just like when he killed the butcher with lady murasaki’s ancestor’s sword, telling her that they would be honored) and sinks his hooks into them.
it’s abundantly clear that he wishes to be a father, but genetically there are things that he’s doesn’t want to pass on -- his pride won’t let him have children. he’s proud to be the last of his family line, on both sides, and he won’t share the spotlight long enough to rear an actual child.
in short, hannibal wants to play mommy and daddy.

WORLD LITERATURE
Each literature signifies our nations even our culture, it has its own artistic and national features. It is essential to study our world as it helps us to understand more, the life and people with different perspectives. It forms our world outlook and familiarize us with the masterpieces of their literature.
a.) Southeast Asia - The entire region of Southeast Asia, with the exception of Thailand due to it’s not a country yet; fell under colonial rule. From this we could actually perceived even from the word “under colonial rule” that they were oppressed. The historical experiences of people have been deeply intertwined for centuries. Colonialism has altered Southeast Asian social structure and brought modern western ideas and concepts into society as well. Most of their literatures are actually consists of how they were repressed those dark times, the reason why their literature reflects their philosophies of life, and the struggles and success of their developing nations and its people.
Some Southeast Asian Literature:
Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado Y Alonso Realonda

An ophthalmologist by profession, Rizal became a writer and a key member of the Filipino Propaganda Movement, which advocated political reforms for the colony under Spain. He was executed by the Spanish colonial government for the crime of rebellion after the Philippine Revolution, inspired in part by his writings, broke out.
- Noli Me Tangere Together with its sequel, El Filibusterismo are widely considered as the national epic of the Philippines. b.) East Asia - It includes Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, Taiwanese Literature. East Asian literature reached prominence in the Literary World. The literatures of East Asia are drawing inspirations from pluralistic sources, within as well as beyond their region. The Chinese literary norms, canons of poetry, lyrical prose and classical novels have shaped the literary taste of the gentry and the ruling class of East Asian countries, especially Japan and Korea. Modern literature in East Asia subsequently developed along a more dichotomized east/west traditional/modern path. The spread of World Literature is heavily dependent on translation. In the case of East Asia, the language of literature was largely monolingual in classical times.

It may be the world's first novel, the first modern novel, the first psychological novel or the first novel still to be considered a classic
The Vegetarian - A South Korean three-part novel written by Han Kang and first published in 2007. Based on Han's 1997 short story "The Fruit of My Woman", The Vegetarian is set in modern-day Seoul and tells the story of Yeong-hye, a part-time graphic artist and home-maker, whose decision to stop eating meat after a bloody, nightmarish dream about human cruelty leads to devastating consequences in her personal and familial life.

In the Hellenistic period literature and flourished in Western Asia. Traditional literary forms such as lists continued to be produced by the native population and were adapted by the new rulers. The works by these South and West Asian authors captures the heart of their reader, also their minds. Nilanjana Sudeshna - "Jhumpa" Lahiri is an American author known for her short stories, novels and essays in English, and, more recently, in Italian. Lahiri's early short stories faced rejection from publishers "for years". Lahiri's writing is characterized by her "plain" language and her characters, often Indian immigrants to America who must navigate between the cultural values of their homeland and their adopted home.
d.) Anglo-American and Europe - The united states was one a colony of Britain, as such, its early literature was closely linked to traditional English Literature. English is a main language and a British culture and the British empire have had significant historical ethnic, linguistic, and cultural impact. American literature has produced some of the significant prose and poetry the world has seen, American literature began as an extension of English literature. It encompasses literature written in Old English, epic poetry is the common style and religious literature continued to enjoy popularity and Hagiographies were written and adapted.
Some Anglo-American Literature:
Beowulf - An Old English epic poem consisting of 3,182 alliterative lines. It is one of the most important works of Old English literature. The story is set in Scandinavia in the 6th century. Beowulf, a hero of the Geats, comes to the aid of Hrothgar, the king of the Danes, whose mead hall in Heorot has been under attack by a monster known as Grendel. After Beowulf slays him, Grendel's mother attacks the hall and is then also defeated. Victorious, Beowulf goes home to Geatland and becomes king of the Geats. Fifty years later, Beowulf defeats a dragon, but is mortally wounded in the battle. After his death, his attendants cremate his body and erect a tower on a headland in his memory.
The Canterbury Tales - A collection of 24 stories that runs to over 17,000 lines written in Middle English by Geoffrey Chaucer between 1387 and 1400. The tales (mostly written in verse, although some are in prose) are presented as part of a story-telling contest by a group of pilgrims as they travel together from London to Canterbury to visit the shrine of Saint Thomas Becket at Canterbury Cathedral. The prize for this contest is a free meal at the Tabard Inn at Southwark on their return.
Walt Whitman - was an American poet, essayist, and journalist. A humanist, he was a part of the transition between transcendentalism and realism, incorporating both views in his works. Whitman is among the most influential poets in the American canon, often called the father of free verse. Whitman's work breaks the boundaries of poetic form and is generally prose-like. He also used unusual images and symbols in his poetry, including rotting leaves, tufts of straw, and debris.
e.) Africa - African Literature oftentimes refers back to its colonial past, and it is in this reference that its literature becomes unique, subersive and expressive. Africa’s literature includes slave narratives, protests colonization, calls for independence, African pride and their hope for their future. This literature is essential because it offers opportunity to hear the voices of African people, and to spread awareness to the one’s who’s lacking.
Some African Literature:
Things Fall Apart - The debut novel by Nigerian author Chinua Achebe, first published in 1958. Its story chronicles pre-colonial life in the southeastern part of Nigeria and the arrival of Europeans during the late 19th century. It is seen as the archetypal modern African novel in English, and one of the first to receive global critical acclaim.
Half of a Yellow Sun - A novel by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The story in Half of a Yellow Sun centres on the war. Adichie grew up in the aftermath of the war: "The need to write about it came from growing up in its shadow. This thing that I didn't quite understand was my legacy. It hovered over everything". She has stated she believes that many of the issues that caused the war remain today. Because none of the major political events were changed in the book, Adichie said that the book contained "emotional truth", and that the book showed the war had a significant impact upon the people of Nigeria.
Chimamanda Adichie - A Nigerian writer whose works range from novels to short stories to nonfiction. Some Latin American Literature:
One Hundred Years of Solitude - a landmark 1967 novel by Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez that tells the multi-generational story of the Buendía family, whose patriarch, José Arcadio Buendía, founded the (fictitious) town of Macondo. The novel is often cited as one of the supreme achievements in literature. The magical realist style and thematic substance of One Hundred Years of Solitude established it as an important representative novel of the literary Latin American Boom of the 1960s and 1970s, which was stylistically influenced by Modernism (European and North American) and the Cuban Vanguardia (Avant-Garde) literary movement.
The Alchemist - A novel by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho that was first published in 1988. An allegorical novel, The Alchemist follows a young Andalusian shepherd in his journey to the pyramids of Egypt, after having a recurring dream of finding a treasure there. The book's main theme is about finding one's destiny, although according to The New York Times, The Alchemist is "more self-help than literature.
Gabriel García Márquez - Was a Colombian novelist, short-story writer, screenwriter, and journalist, known affectionately as Gabo throughout Latin America. Considered one of the most significant authors of the 20th century, particularly in the Spanish language, he was awarded the 1972 Neustadt International Prize for Literature and the 1982 Nobel Prize in Literature. García Márquez started as a journalist and wrote many acclaimed non-fiction works and short stories, but is best known for his novels, such as One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967), Chronicle of a Death Foretold (1981), and Love in the Time of Cholera (1985). His works have achieved significant critical acclaim and widespread commercial success, most notably for popularizing a literary style known as magic realism, which uses magical elements and events in otherwise ordinary and realistic situations.

Sword and Pen Reread, chapter 7
Santi chapter!!!
Ephemera: More evidence of early Obscurists. Heron worked with “Pharaoh’s priests and magicians” on the Poseidon automaton.
Santi is overwhelmed with his new responsibilities, but he’s engaging in some very sensible self-care by taking a coffee break and getting some alone time. He seems to like sitting alone at the top of the Serapeum, having a view of everything going on and space to think.
This practice of taking a break by himself also fits in with Santi’s pattern of walking away when he gets mad at Wolfe. Being alone helps Santi stay calm.
Also, between this and hanging out on the roof of the Spanish embassy, I think we can definitely say Santi likes high places, at the very least for purposes of surveying battlefields, but quite possibly in general.
The one thing that would make Santi’s break better? Come on, we all know what. “He missed Wolfe’s bright, sharp presence.” But he knows obsessing over Wolfe would be a distraction, so he just gives himself a moment to send good wishes Wolfe’s way. Compare this to how tense he was when separated from Wolfe in Smoke and Iron; Wolfe isn’t really any safer now, but knowing Wolfe is free and they both have some control over the situation makes a big difference.
Here’s another indication of what normal looks like for Wolfe and Santi. They split up and work separately, and they trust each other to stay safe and get things done. The obsessive worry over Wolfe’s safety in earlier books was a reaction to the threat posed by the Artifex/Archivist and a response to trauma. Two factors moving Santi back to normal here. First, Wolfe’s lecture in Smoke and Iron. Second, the balance of power has changed. They aren’t trapped in the corrupt Library system anymore, they’re leading the new Library. That makes it easier for Santi to keep the paranoia in check.
I am amused that while Santi and Khalila are both attracted to men, only Khalila spent time observing the hotness of the Poseidon automaton. Santi is too busy being impressed by its size and destructive capabilities.
Here’s Santi’s strategic mind at work. As soon as he’d done going “holy fuck that thing’s huge”, he’s thinking through the enemy’s attack options and hauling ass to get defense strategies in place.
They have an Obscurist on duty in the strategy room. Is this normal, like the ones in the Translation chambers? Or something new?
Obscurist in the strategy room is young and female. No name given. I’m headcanoning that it’s Sybilla, rescued from solitary confinement/suicide watch/whatever by Morgan when she and Eskander took over the Iron Tower, and nobody can stop me.
Botha gets Santi’s company. Nice little friendship moment there, both of them respecting each other’s leadership abilities. Must remember Botha when developing Santi’s various friendships.
Nofret Alamasi, now ranked Senior Captain, is Santi’s new assistant. Roughly a month ago, she was newly assigned to the Iron Tower and making threats to keep Morgan in line. Interesting character to explore more. Some things to consider: How well do she and Santi know each other? How loyal was she to the ex-Archivist? Did she get this position because of rank, particular skills that would be useful, or some other factor? Does Santi have her there because he trusts her? Or because he doesn’t trust her and wants her where he can see her?
Some rivalries to play with in fics: Spain vs Portugal, England vs Wales, Turkey vs India.
What is Dario doing now, anyway? Santi doesn’t expect him to be happy about being summoned. Everyone else has some kind of assigned duty to work on, but with the ambassadors gone, Dario has no work to do.
Santi does not want to tell Alamasi about the Greek fire facility problem.
Obscurists are playing a key role in defense. They seem to be operating systems like the Serapeum’s shutters along with the automata.
Santi hasn’t lost his sense of humor: “Alamasi, if I’m burned alive, then all this becomes your problem.”
Impact of Philadelphia: Santi knows he would hesitate to use Greek fire against a city.
Santi is also reluctant to use his other weapons of mass destruction. He orders a warning shot with the Ray of Apollo first, then attempts negotiation.
Alexandria has very good plans for dealing with firebombing.
Santi, recognizing the Library’s stagnation: “We rely on past accomplishments far too much. Must do something about that.”
Tense Santi, not handling waiting well: Alamasi, do we have any messages yet? How about now? Check with Eskander. Anything from Wolfe? (Is that a touch of trauma-fueled paranoia raising its head? Probably.)
On the subject of Dario, “Santi quite liked the arrogant little ass.” Sin fuel right here. Also, how much does Dario have in common with young Wolfe? Does Santi have a type? I think so. He even thinks about Wolfe right after thinking about how fond he is of Dario.
Dario’s idea of “plain” clothes: he’s only wearing red velvet, no jewels or lace. He has a pretty engraved dagger. Because of fucking course he does.
This whole conversation with Dario is very strategic. I think @eli-wray had a good point that Santi was trying to give Dario a chance to be open and upfront, then turned up the pressure when Dario pushed back with evasion. Santi knows what he has to do to draw Dario out, and he doesn’t hesitate to keep up the pressure until he has confirmation of Dario’s loyalty and Dario’s agreement to go along with the plan.
More strategy: getting agreement from Dario before actually saying what the plan is. There’s quite a bit going into making Dario feel important, even powerful here. He’s brought in under armed escort. His loyalty is questioned. All of that says “you are a threat.” Then Santi turns it around and says he needs Dario’s help. New message: “you are dangerous and we need you on our side.” That’s actually quite the ego boost for Dario, and that prompts Dario to agree to helping. Because of course Dario wants to be needed.
“I need something that comes to you as naturally as breathing. [...] Betrayal.” A couple things going on here. First, is this at least a little emotionally motivated, because it really hasn’t been all that long since Dario betrayed the pack twice in a row? Yes, I think so. Santi, as we know, can hold a grudge. But it’s also strategic. He just challenged Dario to not betray him. By betraying Spain, yes, but Dario just said his real loyalty is to the Library. Betraying Santi would prove that Dario is exactly what Santi accused him of being, so there’s extra motivation there for Dario to stay on Santi’s side. (Note that this is Santi’s perspective - as we’ll see later, Dario interprets this a bit differently.)
In short, we’re seeing the people skills that got Santi so many allies here. He knows how to read people, figure out what makes them tick, and use that to get people on his side. Good leadership or manipulation? Both? Read that as you will.
One more point: how is Santi so good at getting past a person’s defenses to find out what they’re really thinking? 20+ years with Wolfe. There really isn’t that much difference between Wolfe’s prickly defenses and Dario’s sparkly defenses, when you think about it.
Santi is not a tea person. Guessing this is matcha they’re drinking since it’s pale green.
Santi is very anxious about his plan with Dario. He’s worried about Murasaki’s reaction and Khalila’s for very different reasons. He’s worried about Dario. I suspect he very much does not want Murasaki to fire him and order an attack on the facility if she finds out the Spanish have seized it before Santi’s forces take it back.
Murasaki reminds Santi of Wolfe. Dario reminds Santi of Wolfe (even if he’s not admitting that to himself). Santi is not good at avoiding thinking about Wolfe.
Awkward moment for Santi as he realizes just how far he’s gotten from the Library party line on things like smuggling and printing.
“He’d cheerfully knock Callum Brightwell flat any day of the week.” Sorry, Santi. Wolfe beats you to it.
Santi also has Troll working as his assistant. He assigns his own company to the Lighthouse to guard the Ray of Apollo. He likes having people he trusts in key positions - possibly evidence he does trust Alamasi.
I’m taking this comment from Santi that he’s known about the journals for a long time as a lie intended to make him look like he knew more than he did - the moment of surprise with Wolfe in Ink and Bone seemed too genuine.
Getting huge “the kid would be embarrassed to see the parents having a romantic moment” vibes from Santi opting not to have Troll tell Wolfe to be careful.
Also, though, here’s the outcome of that conversation in Smoke and Iron. Wolfe asked Santi to back off on the protectiveness. And Santi is doing just that. He’s worried, but he respects Wolfe’s choices.
Staunch Catholic Santi prays to Isis for his male pagan partner’s safety. Damn do I ever love the way this alternate world works.

These platitudes were organized
I truly donot think
I will consider a manga readily available which has as read manga just as much Knowledge. That is remarkably due to the fact that it's simply a function that can not actually be recognized to be 'useful', as well as its own specific elements have already been finished practically anywhere else. Nevertheless, while Hataraki Guy can be seen like a feature that facilities around a micro point of view of life, together with a work-like Murasaki-iro no Qualia is visible like a function that centers around the macro and also cosmic perspective of life, read manga is just a feature that's just prepared to consist of all that, although it isn't as psychologically comprehensive or intellectually extensive as both.
The tale has shown up before in Osamu Tezukais Apollo's Track (+ Phoenix), along with Andy Weir's The Egg. It's appeared in Slaughterhouse Five, likewise it really the shoujo manga NG Existence. Although it also calls for in the strokes of existence that Tezuka could accomplish its personality kinds are exceptionally Shounen. It pulls from historical literature Samurai stories, fantasy literary works, together with a selection of different style affects. It's done nothing specific fresh in its viewpoint potentially - thinking about the reality that the point of view may be the sort of Buddhist idea checked out in various extra jobs readily available. It is last closing principle was included platitudes, nevertheless the method these platitudes were organized inside the function was so reliable which you need to determine it all-in a light although no choice.
It's still among the many one-of-a-kind Manga in the world although this feature requires from every little thing. It's this is the best reincarnation tale that's really been produced as much as this particular day. It draws in the greatest facets of this sort of account and also emphasizes seriously concerning the needs with outstanding pacing (general in only 45 chapters). The very best facet of a reincarnation story may be the beauty of getting the previous connections of one be built over - because at these times, challengers may end up being pals, and organizations can be absolutely updated to produce meaning. Spirit Group is effective considering that it were able to organize each of these different lifestyles and likewise have them establish off each other, dripping as well as developing right into numerous kinds - in the place of some Manga like Apollo's Tune where each reincarnation is like a vaguely connected short-story in the area of an actual 'living of the previous life'.
This antigods dragon system manga aspect is what presses every one of the work. Spirit Group might utilize archetypes and also platitudes given that these well worn tropes is most likely to be provided fresh illumination when it's various other lives' weight creating the definition to point of view as well as swell bigger than itself right into issues up. Anything as very easy like a few regards to settlement can be extremely relocating when it's compared against the remainder of the previous lives when settlements fell short. It offers the feeling of the terrific historical expertise coming from the single-person, viewing the earth from the remote watch where everything lightens and also far more ephemerally valuable if you have the remainder of the way of lives having the capability to commentate aswell. You can review manga online right here to have a look at one more collection if you want.
I'm as if read manga is just a feature that I'm going to be able to review this in that or 5 years, yet still have the capacity to obtain anything from this. It's an endless memory that the pride might be the smallest component of the planet, yet the galaxies will certainly be surpassed by your communications with others. I’ve probably posted about this before, but... realizing I was queer only once I was about 18/19 and thinking very firmly for most of my life before then that I was straight put me in a very interesting and somewhat unique place re: recognizing representation that I try to hold onto when trying to learn and understand how other minority/oppressed groups see their own lack of representation in media.
Because it hit me, with a great amount of destabilizing force, that I had never once in my life read or seen a book/movie/play/TV show/podcast where a wlw relationship was the centerpiece. I could think of maybe one example of a show I’d seen where there was a wlw relationship that was anything other than implied. Gay relationships between men I’d seen a bit more of - but at that particular moment, that felt even less related to my experience than straight relationships. At least het couples involved a woman.
I had, shall we say, a somewhat dramatic “aha” moment. I had been questioning my sexuality more and more intensely for about a year, but it wasn’t until I actually made out with a girl that I was actually able to accept what I had, deep down, known for almost a year and a half: I was not straight. I didn’t know what I was, at the time, but straight had been officially eliminated as an option. Talking to my (now ex-) girlfriend about that moment later down the line, I described it as having a road map that I had just set on fire. Suddenly, a whole lot of what had seemed planned and immutable and obvious just... wasn’t. It was all gone, and I needed to draw my own map anew.
It occurred to me that since I was a tiny child, I had seen dozens, hundreds, thousands of straight couples fall in love in all the books and movies and plays I ever saw. From Disney princesses to Romeo and Juliet to Ron and Hermione, I knew what my love life was ‘supposed’ to look like. I had thousands of versions of that old “boy meets girl” story laid out to choose from. It felt familiar, even if I’d only ever had one boyfriend and we were never going to work out. But “girl meets girl”? That was totally new. That was uncharted territory. That was terrifying.
And it’s not like these stories didn’t exist. I’ve since seen But I’m a Cheerleader, and Carol, and the Carmilla series, and listened to Alice Isn’t Dead, and sought out books like The Tale of Murasaki, and more. The point is that I had to go looking in the first place. The point is that after I heard about The 100 killing off Lexa I found myself googling “films where the lesbians don’t die” and seeing the same list of ten films over and over and over. The point is that I just about have a heart attack whenever I hear a character actually say the word “bisexual” in a way that isn’t meant to be titillating, because it’s so damn rare.
And... as a straight (”straight”) person this just... didn’t occur to me. I knew there were LGBT books and movies out there, and I knew there weren’t very many of them, but it didn’t bother me that I had rarely come across them. I listened to Welcome to Night Vale (back when the only canonical relationship was Cecil/Carlos). I’d read some Destiel and Merthur fanfic. It’s not even that I thought there were enough, really, I was aware that LGBT people were lacking positive representation. But the fact that it was a struggle to find it, that it had to be actively sought out - I hadn’t considered that element of it.
Now, I’ve been on both sides of the equation. I try, to the best of my ability, to remember that paralyzing moment of realizing that I hadn’t seen people like me in books and on screens before. I try to remember how easy it was for me not to pay attention to the lack of queer representation that I had seen. And I try to be cognizant of the other blind spots in my privilege. How often do I watch shows and movies with exclusively white characters, and not even notice? How many times have I ever seen or read stories with main characters in wheelchairs? Have I ever read a book about a deaf person in my life? What about a Hindu character? The list goes on. I took a film class with two other girls about about a dozen guys, and we watched Rambo, and as soon as the movie ended the other two girls and I side-eyed each other and spoke up in chorus: “Was there a single woman in that movie? Or a single person of color?” The dawning realization on those guys’ faces was priceless - they hadn’t noticed. Not one of them. I try, at least, at minimum, to notice, these days. And I also try to remember that people who argue that we don’t need more representation might genuinely not understand. Because there is a very big difference between having it explained to you with cookie metaphors and the visceral reaction of noticing that you have never heard your own story.

I truly donot believe
I will certainly think of a manga readily available which has as manga online equally as much Knowledge. That is extremely due to the fact that it's simply a function that can not in fact be recognized to be 'practical', and its very own particular components have actually currently been finished just about almost everywhere else. However, while Hataraki Guy can be seen like a function that facilities around a mini viewpoint of life, in addition to a work-like Murasaki-iro no Qualia shows up like a function that centers around the macro as well as cosmic point of view of life, manga online is simply a function that's just prepared to include all that, although it isn't as psychologically thorough or intellectually extensive as both.
The story has appeared before in Osamu Tezukais Apollo's Track (+ Phoenix), in addition to Andy Weir's The Egg. It's shown up in Slaughterhouse Five, also it in fact the shoujo manga NG Existence. Despite the fact that it additionally calls for in the strokes of existence that Tezuka might achieve its character types are extremely Shounen. It draws from historic literature Samurai stories, fantasy literary works, along with a variety of different style affects. It's not done anything specific fresh in its point of view perhaps - considering the fact that the viewpoint may be the sort of Buddhist idea investigated in many additional works readily available. It is last closing idea was comprised of platitudes, however the approach these platitudes were arranged inside the feature was so effective which you need to establish it all-in a light although no alternative.
It's still amongst the numerous one-of-a-kind Manga on the planet although this function calls for from everything. It's this is the best reincarnation story that's actually been created as high as this particular day. It draws in the greatest aspects of this type of account as well as worries seriously about the necessities with exceptional pacing (general in only 45 chapters). The absolute best element of a reincarnation tale may be the sophistication of getting the previous partnerships of one be created over - given that at these times, opponents might come to be buddies, and also organizations might be totally upgraded to create definition. Spirit Group works considering that it were able to organize every one of these alternate way of lives and also have them create off each other, leaking as well as developing into various kinds - in the place of some Manga like Apollo's Tune where each reincarnation resembles a slightly linked short-story in the area of a genuine 'living of the previous life'.
This Nidome no Yuusha manga aspect is what presses all of the work. Spirit Group might utilize archetypes and platitudes given that these well used tropes is most likely to be provided fresh lights when it's numerous other lives' weight creating the significance to perspective and also swell bigger than itself into issues up. Anything as simple like a couple of terms of settlement can be incredibly relocating when it's compared versus the rest of the previous lives when settlements failed. It uses the feeling of the fantastic historical understanding originating from the single-person, seeing the planet from the remote watch where whatever lightens as well as a lot more ephemerally important if you have the rest of the way of livings having the capability to commentate aswell. You can read manga online below to have a look at one more collection if you desire.
I'm as if manga online is just a function that I'm going to have the ability to read this because or 5 years, but still have the capability to obtain anything from this. It's a limitless memory that the satisfaction may be the smallest component of the earth, however the galaxies will be exceeded by your communications with others. I have never written a fic in so short time. I started this last night.
This is so pure angst that I made myself cry. Birthday is dying so this is set somewhere around the last few episodes of Re:Hamatora.
This is really heavy and if you’re sensitive to topics like death, you have been warned. We all know Birthday’s illness would have killed him. No one dies in this fic but Birthday is getting worse and Ratio doesn't handle it very well.
Birthday has an uncanny ability to get himself in trouble. Ratio is well aware of this, has known it for almost as long as he’s known Birthday which is, to say, way too long for his lifespan. Simply spending time with the blonde has probably shortened his life expectancy by approximately thirty years when rounding down (that one time when he decided to learn ice skating? Five years. At the very least), and seeing as he’s unwilling to leave Birthday’s side, he’s probably going to die of a heart failure before he hits forty.
All in all, Ratio is quite used to Birthday’s antics and stupid tricks. This latest one, however, may have taken the remaining less-than-twenty years and all that was left of his sanity, because if Birthday dies at twenty-three in a hospital bed, he’s going to follow. He would have maybe lived had Birthday died on the job, maybe, but this? This wasn’t supposed to happen, just wasn’t - Birthday was supposed to be healthy, the surgery was supposed to be a success and Ratio’s prediction of Birthday’s premature death by his illness was supposed to be wrong--
But it’s happening, right here and now, in the hospital Ratio is working at. Birthday’s breaths are shallow and wheezing and he’s pale, so, so pale against the white sheets that somehow seem darker than Birthday’s translucent complexion. He looks fragile, too fragile to be Birthday. There are dark bruises under his eyes, pronounced next to his anemic pallor. His skin seems paper-thin. Ratio can see blue and purple veins, on eyelids, along the forearms, the neck.
He doesn't need to take his eyepatch off to know that his partner is dying on him.
Birthday sleeps nearly eighteen hours a day, either under the drugs he's constantly being pumped full of, or then simply because he's too exhausted to stay awake. Just breathing seems to drain him of all the energy needed to give Ratio one tired smile.
Sometimes Birthday tries to walk around. Some days he actually has enough strength to sit up on the edge of his bed and take a few steps, sometimes just to the door and sometimes even down the hall to the vending machine. He rarely gets anything, but the fact that he's able to make it that far and back without collapsing is enough. It's Birthday’s figurative middle finger to his illness, and it’s just as much done for Birthday himself as it is for Ratio.
Those are good days. Then there are medium days, kinda okay days, tired days. There are bad days, and the bad days are horrible for everyone involved. On medium days Birthday can, at the very least, hold a conversation and maybe even sit up at the edge of his bed. But on the bad days he can't. On the bad days he can barely keep his eyes open for long enough for Ratio to check if he’s even conscious. On the bad days, painful, wet coughs rattle his thin frame for minutes without a break and leave him a wheezy, heaving mess with blood-stained lips and and a barely-there heartbeat. On the bad days, Nice and Murasaki come visit, sometimes, if they can spare even a little time.
Ratio is well aware that both Nice and Murasaki but especially Nice have their hands full with Hajime and Art and the whole Freemum thing, but he’s still grateful for the ten minutes he can sit in his office with Murasaki while Nice stays with Birthday. If he could, he would spend every second of his time in that room, but sometimes listening to Birthday’s waning breath gets too much.
Today started as a medium day, but it’s going bad and fast. Birthday’s attempt to stand up ended with him on the floor hacking up blood. A nurse finds him first, shivering and coughing weakly as if his body didn't have enough strength for even that - and maybe it doesn't. Ratio is there within a minute and still feeling like he’s late, he’s ten years and then some too late for saving Birthday.
It only gets worse from there.
Birthday has a fever. He’s teetering on the edge of unconsciousness and his forehead is clammy with cold sweat, and Ratio is terrified because Birthday has no immune system left to battle an infection. He remembers the pure, mind-numbing fear he felt when Birthday collapsed right at his feet, shaking and coughing and trying so hard, and it’s nothing compared to the freezing terror that grips his heart when he sees the number “41.2” on the thermometer.
And Birthday is in so much pain. He whimpers, the noise barely audible, and his hands instinctively move to his chest, where it hurts the most and every breath is pure agony despite the IV dripping morphine into his veins. Something aches in Ratio’s chest, too, at the sight and at the sound.
They need to draw some blood in order to determine how to treat this new threat, but in all honesty, Ratio isn’t sure if Birthday has enough blood left to draw without killing him. He keeps coughing it up and Ratio doesn’t know how long it will take until they’re able to find a suitable blood donor for a type O Minimum Holder. Birthday’s blood type is already frustratingly difficult to come by due to its stance as a universal donor, but finding a compatible Minimum Holder might prove to be beyond his abilities.
By the time night arrives, Birthday’s fever is down to 38.7 and he has vomited twice. He doesn’t have the strength to hold himself up, not today, so Ratio has held him up by his bony shoulders while Birthday has dry-heaved and dry-heaved and dry-heaved until finally throwing up water and bile. Though Ratio does consider the lowered fever a victory, it doesn’t really improve his mood at all. Birthday is still sick and still dying. He can’t get the feeling of Birthday’s shoulders against his hands out of his mind - Birthday isn’t supposed to feel so fragile, not supposed to feel like a single touch would be able to break his physical form straight into atoms.
It’s terrifying.
The visiting hours have ended hours ago when Nice and Murasaki walk in with a convenience store bag with a few onigiri in it. Ratio doesn't know whose money they are using because the Hamatora duo is broke and has been as long as he remembers, not to mention they aren't even accepting jobs at the moment due to the circumstances, but maybe it’s Honey and Three, maybe it’s Master and Koneko, maybe it’s those two kids Nice befriended before shit hit the fan a few months ago.
There’s pity in their eyes, and sadness, and Nice looks guilty when he watches Ratio’s broken arm. Ratio is too tired to care, too exhausted to blame them. He doesn't remember the last time he ate something, and he doesn't resist when Murasaki plants a plain onigiri in his hand and simply says, “Eat.”
They don’t have time to stay tonight. Nice visits Birthday’s room briefly and comes out looking like he’d seen a ghost in there. Murasaki pats Ratio’s shoulder firmly, probably attempting to be reassuring but coming across just as exhausted as Ratio feels.
“Get some sleep,” Murasaki tells him, sounding weary himself. He glances at Nice, too, as if his words were directed to the both of them. Nice doesn't seem to notice, but in the dim nighttime lighting he looks exhausted, too. He’s seventeen, for God’s sake, Ratio thinks. Something in him, some small part that isn't thoroughly occupied by and invested in Birthday, aches at the thought. Nice is six years younger than him, four years younger than Murasaki, and somehow he, too, is caught up in this awful mess. Let kids be kids. It’s not as if Ratio himself was ever allowed to be a kid, either, but it feels so unfair to take childhood away from children just because they happen to have potential for a Minimum.
“You too,” Ratio hears himself saying. Murasaki nods absent-mindedly.
Nice tells him to call if Birthday gets worse, that he doesn’t know if they’ll be able to come but somebody will. “Take care,” he says on his way out.
Ratio finds himself in Birthday’s room. The blonde is asleep, and his breathing is audible, but maybe that’s what Ratio needs. Affirmation that Birthday is still alive. He falls asleep holding Birthday’s hand, and maybe he’s just imagining it, but for the briefest of moments he could swear he feels Birthday squeeze his hand.

Aoi Shouta LIVE 2017 WONDER lab. ~prism~ Part 1: Osaka
Warning – While I did my best to talk about what happened in the live, this is hella personal. I did my best to put my experience into words here and because of that it’s probably more personal than it needed to be.
I can finally post about WONDER lab. ~prism~ now! We were told to keep the secrets until after the Tokyo show and so even though I am writing this the Monday after the Osaka event, you’ll be seeing this after they are both done. Stay tuned for my report on Tokyo! Also, go check out @aishiteruitsumo6 because I am sure her post will be even better than mine (and have more pictures lol)!
Buying the goods
This was a whole experience in itself I have to say. This was my first big event that I have been to but I have learned from the other times. Get there early and be ready to wait. Ironically, it turned out that almost nothing seemed to sell out at the Osaka even except the badge gatchas and the pink wristbands. Some would argue the badges are worth it though. I do wish I had bought a few more. I’ll stop before I get too far ahead of myself.
So even though our seats were apart I went to the live with @aishiteruitsumo6 We met up the night before at the hotel in Osaka. I decided to stay there so that I could be there early rather than commute in the morning. By meeting there the night before I mean more like 1am. It wasn't the brightest idea in hindsight but excitement can do wonders. It was also a capsule hotel so I can officially check that off my list of things to do in Japan.
We were out of the hotel just after 6am and walked the ten or so minutes over to the venue. There was already quite a long line. Thankfully we were able to join @aishiteruitsumo6’s friend who had arrived earlier. Then we settled in for a few hours wait. The goods weren’t supposed to open until 11am after all. An important thing to note if you do decide to go super early like this, either go with friends or make sure that you buy food/go to the washroom before you line up. If you’re with friends then you are in luck because they can hold your spot while you stand in line for the bathroom for an hour. Oh, and bring a small chair or mat to sit on.
They actually opened up the goods earlier than 11am. I’m not sure exactly when they did open it but we were a few rows into the snaking line before it started moving and we actually reached the theatre doors at around 11am. The goods buying was actually a pretty fast process once you were inside. They had several small lines and it went pretty fast. I spent much more than I should have but I love all of it.
After the main good buying section they had the badge gatcha machines in another room. You need 500 yen coins for the machine, though they have staff that will exchange money. After buying so much I tried to limit myself by only buying 4 gatchas but I do regret it now. I kind of want the full set of ten.
After buying the good there was quite a crowd still in the park outside trading around the different badges. I managed to trade away a few doubles for the ones I really liked. If I buy anything in Tokyo it will probably be more badges.
Break time
So because of lining up so early we were also finished quite early as well. After we finished trading around badges we headed back to the hotel to rearrange our bags before buying some food. Then it was back to the park to wait until the start.
This bit felt super long because at this point I was absolutely exhausted. We’d only had a few hours of sleep and part of me really, really wished I was staying the night again because then maybe I would have had a hotel to go nap in for a few hours. Alas, we powered through.
This part was actually one of my favorite parts of the day because I got to see a lot of the friends that I have made from going to Shoutan’s events. I got to meet the girls I met at Smile Mermaid, yay for more foreign fans, and I got to met some of the wonderful girls I met in line at the Natsu Tama summer event. It was so nice to get to see everyone again, even though everyone else's Japanese skills put mine to complete shame.
The most surprising part of this time before was that just when they had started to let people into the theatre, we were moving towards the back of the line and we were stopped by a camera man who was filming things for the ‘Make a Lab’ video on the dvd and he wanted to interview us. WAIT, WHAT? This was both really cool and also daunting as hell. The camera man also spoke like super quietly and we could barely hear his questions. He was asking things like where we were from, where did we know Shouta from, what was our favorite song, things like that. I definitely struggled with this interview because of my Japanese skill level but I did my best. I don’t know if they will end up using any of it but keep an eye out I guess?
The Live
After that finished we quickly joined the lien and entered the venue. This was the part where we parted ways for now. My seat was on the first floor but the very back row. While it was further away than I would have liked, because we all want to be those girls in the front row and you know it, it was still a pretty good view. I was also at the very back so I didn't have to worry about blocking someone's view unintentionally and there was a rail I could hang my coat on.
As a quick note I don’t remember everything that was said nor am I completely sure I remember the order of songs right. Even right after I felt like I was forgetting the order and maybe even a song or two. If Tokyo ends up being exactly the same I hope I’ll remember better.
After a few minutes of getting my things together and my penlight ready the show was about to begin. The video was super cute with the artist Shouta theme. It showed him in an art studio and ended with him designing his first costume that then sort of magically became real. His outfit was super cool, a classic Shoutan costume. I am terrible at describing clothes so I’ll forgo it for now. You’ll see pictures soon enough.
The opening song was ‘north star’ which I got super excited for as it is one of my favorite songs and I hadn't heard him sing it live yet. This was followed up by ‘DDD’ and then ‘Zessei Stargate’. It was really fun to watch the colors of the lights change with the different songs. After these songs he took a break and there was a mini talk bit where he welcomed us talked about how this was his first time doing a one man live in Osaka. He sang ‘Innocent’ next and then the dancers came out and he changed his outfit slightly, losing the long flowing hip pieces, and then he sang ‘Unlimited’.
He was gone again after this and there was a new video. This time artist Shoutan was drawing the ocean and he ended up drawing Marina’s tail. Marina was the mermaid he played in Smile Mermaid.
Then he was out in his new costume. This time it was a mix between Marina and his Kaguya look. A kimono like top with flows hakama pants and a wig with longer hair. He was very beautiful. He sang ‘Endless Song’ first and then I believe it was ‘Ai no Sasameki Goto’ and then ‘Sora wa Tomei na Chikai’. I am not to sure on those two as one of them I didn't know and I am not completely sure if I remember right about the other one. They were all very beautiful songs though. They also did this really cool effect on the stage that made it look like he was inside a kind of cage in one of the songs.
After those songs he came down from the upper part of the stage and there was another short talk where he introduced some band members and showed off his new outfit. He was quite cute and funny in this section because he told us to ‘remember that he’s really a boy’ despite his costume. I wonder if he got some comments to the contrary after playing Marina. After that he closed out this section with ‘Murasaki’ and ‘Ai Uta’.
The video that came next was the dancer and band introduction video. It was pretty cute, with artist Shouta writing their names on the screen. After this video his new song ‘Run!! Run!!’ came on and he ran out with his dancers. They were all dressed in sporty clothes, shorts and t-shirts and hoodies kind of look, and had blue and yellow pom-poms. Shoutan had a big 29 on his shirt. Watching him dance to this actually made me like the song a lot more than I initially had. Kind of like ‘Summer Dreamin’’ at the summer event. That new song will probably forever remind me of ~prism~ more than any other.
After ‘Run!! Run!!’ he sang ‘Start!’ which was also really fun to hear live. I didn't recognize it at first. I’d only heard it once back at the free mini live for ‘S’ album release. There was another talk section after this with some banter with the band members. He also pointed out the 29 on his shirt and that it was his age. He mentioned that this year his would be 30 and called himself an ‘ojisan’ which was vehemently opposed to by the fans. For those that might not know, ‘ojisan’ means uncle in Japanese but is also used as a type of Mr. kind of word, generally for middle aged men. Don’t worry Shoutan I’m sure you’ll stay ‘oniichan’ for a few years longer.
Then he jumped into ‘Zutto…’ and I almost melted because it’s my favorite song. Like there are a lot of songs I like but that one is at the top. It was really cute too because he actually changed how he pronounced one part of the song into the local Osaka-ben. I didn't notice it at the time but my Japanese friends pointed it out after the show. He jumped into ‘Touch to take toriko’ after, which is another of my favorite songs. This is also the one with the flag dance and it was super fun to get to dance to with everyone. I’m still kind of shaky on the second half of the dance. I need to practice more before Tokyo.
There was another artist Shouta video afterwords. This one showed him designing another costume and then taking a nap. While he napped his price costume from the Budokan live passed it’s magic to the prince outfit that he just designed.
Before we knew it he was out in his new prince outfit. He looked so cool and beautiful in it. It had the red color like the one from the ~prism~ photos but without all the medals. I think it had blue in the centre as well and a small black cape against one shoulder in the back. He then sang the ballad version of ‘Nanji no Kotodama’. This was really pretty cause he sang on the steps and it was very prince-like. The he came down and jumped right into ‘Himitsu no Kuchizduke’ and the ‘S’. These are both super exciting songs and are really fun to sing along to. They are really good for the fans too.
He was super tried after these two songs, definitely breathing a little hard. He was super cute too cause he said something along the lines of just being a human and all. He really works so hard for all of us. I don’t remember much of this talk portion besides that but we were all surprised when he said that it was almost the end of the live. It felt like it had only just started.
He finished off the main section of the live with his new songs ‘Checkmate’ and ‘flower’. He danced to both of them and they were definitely some of my favorite songs to see and listen to. Then he was gone again and it was kind of sad.
The Live wasn't quite over yet though. Everyone started chanting ‘Shoutan! Shoutan!’ It went on for a lot longer than I thought it would but eventually he came back out in the live tshirt and with an octopus hat on for some reason. The cute dork.
The encore started off with a kind of medley song that mixed ‘Shot of LOVE’, ‘True Hearts’, and ‘Summer Dreamin’’ together. In the background they displayed all the postcards with messages that people had sent in. I have to say that the art on some of them was really amazing. Japanese people have like amazing art skills. There was a bit more of a chat after the first songs and then he closed off the live with ‘Melodia’.
After the show
Thankfully, after the show was done I was able to meet up with all of my friends again. It was great to get to talk about the show and everything that had happened. Even though I was super tired by this point I still had an amazing time. We ended up going out for food afterwords and then taking the last train home. I am really happy that I got to see some of the same people again because we definitely became closer friends because of it.
That’s all there is for WONDER lab. ~prism~ Osaka. Tune in to part 2 for the Tokyo Show!!!

Colony @ Eco City tour!
Hello everyone!
So the launch of Colony @ Eco City has come and gone (two weeks ago) and I’m finally getting around to blogging about it! T____T I haven’t really been writing much about it so this post is gonna be it ok hold on to your seats wtf.
We’ve been working on this since last December so it’s been like 7 months in the coming!
This project was quite different from our first one, when honestly I had no idea what I was doing. I thought this would be easier, having gone through it once before. As usual I was wrong. Lol.
The first Colony used to be a serviced office before we took it over. All we had to do really, was renovate and furnish it. Sure, we added facilities and equipment, upgraded the Internet and things like that, but everything was mostly set up already.
For Eco City, we had a completely blank space. Only concrete walls and floor and exposed piping. So we got to work. We first submitted our plans for approval from DBKL and Bomba (City Council and Fire Department)… but first I had to go talk to engineers too for drawing up the plans. My first time dealing with anything like this, but the engineer was so nice he walked me through the entire process, step by step. I understood then, but my sieve-like memory has forgotten some of it now. -_-
After that came the electrical drawings, the plumbing drawings, fire safety drawings, data points, airconditioning, flooring, furnishing….
All these came from our awesome design team ok. I merely nodded and trusted Buddha WTF.
Then came the fun part – design.
When we first secured the space, we were ecstatic – huge floor to ceiling windows, tons of natural light, nice spacious square shape. It even faced a hill which had a river running towards us. #goodfengshui It’s also bigger than our KLCC location and Fatty and I imagined it would be our flagship location.
So since it’s Colony… what theme would be better than a (British) Colonial theme? I have no idea how other designers work but for me, it really helps if I have a strong theme in mind to allude to. Because I like a lot of things wtf and I don’t want to stray off track hahaha. A theme helps remind me and keep me focused I guess.
I usually try to strike a balance between ‘homey’ and ‘comfortable’ and ‘luxurious’ for Colony so I felt this theme matched the purpose as well. Colonial style decoration would be grand enough, yet toned down enough for people to relax in it.
This was our first artist’s impression.
*poker face*
It’s nice! But it looks like The Majestic. Or Fullerton in Singapore. When I thought colonial, I totally forgot that it’s a popular theme for hotels in this region hahaha.
I thought it needed a bit more character, or something to change it up a bit. Working on Colony, I learned that I like contrasts in design, and this design was too straight in getting to its destination. Does that make sense?
I asked, how about adding some unexpected colors? Like pink?
*more poker face*
*puts saline drops in eyes*
I removed the fuchsia and replaced it with pastel pink. And eliminated the Buncho yellow.
Results were much better! We also added a whole bunch of elements traditionally associated with colonial style: a lot of greenery in the form of big leafed plants like banana and palm, blue and white Chinese porcelain, brass fixtures, beautiful old books, and rattan.
And here’s the final result! 🙂
Here’s the cafe area. The cafe in Eco City is run by The Embassy, who have an outlet in Starling Mall too.
We chose a gorgeous dull mint color for the cafe which contrasts so well with the pink! ID was skeptical about too many colors but I love itttttt.
We did marble topped tables for the old school charm and rattan backed chairs.
The lounge area where people can chill, have discussions or hot desk.
The day beds on the right are my pride and joy. T___T I kept thinking in the initial design drafts that the ‘colonialism’ wasn’t coming out strong enough. I’m so glad I saw these canopy beds on Pinterest hahahaha. Cos they really make the space! This pic was taken before the canopies arrived so I might update this later.
Designer customized the beds for seating; I imagined full on beds but these are much better cos I don’t want people to have to put their feet up when they sit down la hahaha can’t be too comfortable wtf.
Details: we put in standing louvers, painted black. When I was Fighter’s age, I lived in my grandparents’ Colonial terrace house in Penang which had louvered windows so this is so nostalgic for me. 🙂
Our throws are cased in mostly botanical prints or animal skin prints. For rugs we used handwoven rattan-like rugs.
Spin behind the cafe a bit. Lockers for our Reserved Desk guests (who don’t have locked drawers for their belongings) are on the left. Straight in front is the kids’ playroom.
The kids’ room includes a nursing room! The cushion is so apt ok. When your nips are bleeding and you’re putting cabbage leaves on your boobs to stop the clog, remember what the cushion says wtf.
Anyway yellow armchair for momma to sit, next to it are appropriate baby supplies – diapers, wet wipes and even nursing pads thoughtfully provided by Applecrumby and Fish. And changing table on the left!
Here’s the playroom! Walls are done in customized wallpaper. Picket fence is there to corrall off screaming and running lolol.
Inside we have a slide, a dolls’ house, and a city scape set up…
And a toy kitchen on the other side. All from Taobao LOL GOOD BUYS LEH. Sorry I don’t know where to get it cos ID got everything.
The highlight is this wtf. There was a little bit of space under the stairs outside so we broke it in and created this little nook. Then Katrine created a house facade around it and filled it with beds, cushions and lots of stuffed animals. I think it’s the critters’ favorite part of Colony actually.
Back out again. Another view of the lounge and Reserved Desks area.
Phone booths are done up in pink! One of my favorite details here.
What a phone booth at Colony @ Eco City looks like.
Inside we have an old fashioned writing desk and chair, with a Persian style rug on hardwood floor. We filled it with cushions, throw blankets and furry to reduce any echoing that could come from phone calls or video conferences. ^^
This nook is our Instagram corner. Hahahah. The pink is a print we got from Shutterstock and blew up LOL. Cos customizing a wallpaper was too expensive wtf. #renohacks
Our conference room. Fits 14 people! Our meeting rooms are always named after famous explorers or trailblazers, so for this Colony, our conference room is called Battuta, for Ibn Battuta.
People who studied sejarah should know la ok hahahaha. One other meeting room is called Murasaki for Lady Murasaki Shikibu, who was a lady in waiting in Japan, and wrote The Tale of Genji, considered the first ever novel in the world! *nerd* And the third is called Armstrong for Neil Armstrong, who was the first man on the moon.
This is our event space. When there are no events, this area will be used for just hanging out or hot desking.
When there are events though, the furniture can be moved around to accommodate the style of event. I tried to choose lighter, individual pieces for easier shifting.
Ooh one of my favorite spots too! We ordered these steamer trunk tables from China and they got lost at sea FML. I was going crazy cos I thought we were gonna launch with no tables but luckily they came in time! I love them so much I got two smaller ones for our bedside tables at home.
Ordered this chair cos I thought it was really unique but now I suddenly see it everywhere. -_-
Here’s the entrance to our private office suites!
Flooring is in black and white tile for a retro feel.
The pictures I chose all also got colonial theme one! We have a lot of old maps, tropical animal portraits and vintage photos of British colonial scenes.
This is a special room, called the Jamestown Suite. Named after one of the first British colonies, it’s a glammed up luxe version of a normal Colony office.
We outfitted it with wallpaper, hardwood floors, a Chesterfield couch, TV screen…
A Marshall speaker, and smart home capabilities. You can basically control the curtains, music, TV and lights with Google Home. ^^ For special clients only hehehe.
Here’s Murasaki.
I added this pug which is damn random but damn cute ok hahahaha. Apt cos Murasaki in Japanese means purple and his shades got purple there wtf.
The pantry (and a mop).
Nap room which you can book to take a quick break.
I also made a video tour! I shot it while some of our furniture wasn’t even in yet though but just to give you a guys a sense of the place. Also includes Fighter and Penny’s reaction to the kids’ playroom hahaha.

It is final closing idea was consisted of platitudes
I really donot believe
I will certainly think of a manga readily available which has as sheng wang equally as much Knowledge. That is remarkably due to the fact that it's just a function that can not really be recognized to be 'useful', and also its very own details aspects have currently been finished almost everywhere else. However, while Hataraki Guy can be seen like a function that centers around a micro perspective of life, together with a work-like Murasaki-iro no Qualia is visible like a feature that focuses around the macro as well as planetary point of view of life, sheng wang is just a feature that's just ready to include all that, despite the fact that it isn't as mentally comprehensive or intellectually thorough as both.
The tale has actually shown up prior to in Osamu Tezukais Apollo's Track (+ Phoenix), in addition to Andy Weir's The Egg. It's shown up in Slaughterhouse Five, additionally it actually the shoujo manga NG Existence. Although it likewise needs in the strokes of presence that Tezuka could accomplish its individuality kinds are incredibly Shounen. It draws from historical literary works Samurai stories, fantasy literary works, together with a variety of different design influences. It's not done anything specific fresh in its point of view perhaps - considering the truth that the point of view may be the kind of Buddhist concept explored in numerous additional works offered. It is final closing idea was consisted of platitudes, nonetheless the method these platitudes were organized inside the function was so effective which you have to establish it all-in a light although no alternative.
It's still amongst the several one-of-a-kind Manga on earth although this feature calls for from every little thing. It's this is the best reincarnation story that's in fact been produced as much as this day. It draws in the best facets of this sort of account and also worries seriously regarding the necessities with outstanding pacing (overall in just 45 chapters). The best facet of a reincarnation tale might be the style of getting the previous connections of one be created over - since at these times, opponents might come to be close friends, as well as associations can be entirely upgraded to develop definition. Spirit Group works given that it had the ability to arrange every one of these alternative way of lives as well as also have them establish off each other, dripping as well as developing into different kinds - in the area of some Manga like Apollo's Tune where each reincarnation is like a slightly connected short-story in the area of a genuine 'living of the previous life'.
This mangabat aspect is what pushes all of the work. Spirit Group may make use of archetypes and platitudes given that these well worn tropes is likely to be supplied fresh lighting when it's different other lives' weight triggering the definition to point of view as well as swell bigger than itself into issues up. Anything as very easy like a couple of terms of reconciliation can be incredibly moving when it's juxtaposed against the remainder of the previous lives when settlements fell short. It uses the sensation of the remarkable historical knowledge originating from the single-person, watching the planet from the remote watch where everything becomes light and also much more ephemerally useful if you have the rest of the way of livings having the ability to remark aswell. You can read manga online right here to check out an additional series if you desire.
I'm as if sheng wang is simply a feature that I'm mosting likely to have the ability to review this because or 5 years, yet still have the capacity to obtain anything from this. It's a countless memory that the satisfaction may be the smallest part of the planet, but the galaxies will be exceeded by your interactions with others.
