I put my long-ish tes piece on the backburner to take a break and write shorter things featuring my best friends elder scrolls characters from my mind and then I put THAT on the backburner because my very sweet grandmother paid for me to buy bg3 and. alas. look I can't play a game of this nature without fleshing out my player character far more than necessary and then I get curious. so here's a very shoddily scribbled bit from my very first playing-around piece (a rambling description of my character's extremely abandoned house)

Day 18: Hackneyed

“I am well aware you linger outside my window, cherie.”

Alyzen laughs, her head poking out from the corner of the window. Aymeric cannot but brighten at the sight of her; she is in good spirits, a rare thing of late. Any opportunity to see her smile is a one to be savored.

“Linger outside I must, my dear lord speaker, for I have not been granted permission to enter.”

Shaking his head, he strides across the plush carpet, cupping her beloved face between his bare hands and kissing the tip of her nose. Her cheeks flush pink; it is endearing to know that he can yet elicit such a reaction from her. Instead of urging her in, as she undoubtedly expects, he seats himself on the windowsill and smiles. “And what reason does the lady have to be invited into the lord speaker’s private chamber, pray tell?”

Her eyes twinkle, pleased that he has chosen to play. Aymeric does not think she fully understands just how much he would do for her. If she one day asked him to abandon his post, he would do so for her sake; yet he knows she will never make that request of him, even if she has resented his duties many a time, for she knows and understands how seriously he takes his duty to his country.

It is strange, to be perceived so intimately and be accepted so entirely. It is something he has yet to get used to. Theirs is an unconventional relationship, but one that works for them, and one that he gives thanks to Halone for each and every day. 

“Why, my lord,” she teases, “there is naught I would not give to be granted leave to enter your sanctum.”

“Naught, you say? There is no limit to what I may demand of you?”

“You may ask anything of me,” her voice, her gaze, her expression, the line of her body all soften with affection. He has the urge to kiss her, and he does not even think to resist; should any passer-by look up, they would see their esteemed lord speaker seated on his windowsill, the warrior of light bent over him, framed by the soft golden glow of the light within the manor. 

“What if,” he pulls away just enough to murmur the words against her lips, “I insist that you fetch our erstwhile dragoon so he may grace us with his presence?”

“Then I would consider your wish granted,” a new, familiar voice says from behind him.

Startled, Aymeric turns to his doorway to find Estinien leaning against the wall there, his arms crossed as is his wont, looking entirely at ease. Amusement has the corners of his lips curled upward, a warm fondness adorning his gaze, and his appearance is so unexpectedly gratifying that Aymeric’s heart fills and spills over with adoration for both his loves.

“Forgive me for such a hackneyed plan,” Alyzen laughs softly, “you merely asked me to pass on your regards, but I could not resist surprising you thus.”

Aymeric holds her hand, pressing his mouth to her knuckles before helping her cross the ledge. “What you call unoriginal, I call most welcome. It brings me much comfort to have the both of you with me.”

Estinien moves towards them, drawing the dark-haired man into a firm embrace. “Have the High Houses been treating you poorly?”

“‘Tis nothing beyond the norm, and certainly naught I cannot handle,” Aymeric burrows his face into the crook of Estinien’s neck. “‘Tis simply that every moment I spend with you is much cherished.”

“And what of me?” his fierce warrior looks anything but, not with how she’s pouting.

It is his turn to laugh, and he pulls her towards them. She comes willingly, indulgent and smiling, and lets herself be surrounded by them. For many minutes, they remain locked in a much-needed embrace; Aymeric has discovered that after all her trials on the First, Aly has developed a persistent need for contact and connection. She has not said anything, nor does she ask for affection when she requires it, but he and Estinien now know her well enough that for all her outward confidence, she is insecure of her status in their lives, of their need and want for her; he is only too happy to adore and cherish her the way she deserves.

Before he can shower his cherie with affection, Estinien finds his lips, and he devours his mouth like a man starved. Aymeric gladly lets him take, his hands gripping the wool of the dragoon’s tunic to pull him close, closer, as close as physically possible. Alyzen’s arms wrap around his midsection, her chest pressed to his back, and her hands slip beneath his shirt; he shivers when her chilled skin meets his, but it is short-lived, a new kind of heat stoked by her touch.

“Will you let us take care of you?” she asks softly.

“I do not need-” he tries to protest, only to be cut off by Estinien’s kiss.

“You are so generous with us,” Estinien’s voice rumbles through Aymeric, igniting the ever-present yearning within him, “let us do this for you.”

Alyzen’s fingers dip into the waistband of his breeches, stroking the skin there, but waiting for his permission to do anything. She must know he’s already aching, she must, and he wonders if this is a torment or a prelude to something sweeter. “‘Meric?” she prompts. He can feel her smile against his back as he tries to grind himself against Estinien’s leg. 

He is so wound up – embarrassingly so, or he would be were he capable of thinking beyond his lovers at this moment. Aymeric meets Estinien’s gaze to find the other man watching him with blatant desire, but it is the heady affection emanating from him – from them both – that has him weak in the knees.

“Say yes, ‘Meric,” Estinien ghosts his mouth over his. “We want to touch you. Can you not feel how much we want you?”

Throat dry, Aymeric turns his head to look at Alyzen. Her gaze is aphotic, hypnotic, and his eyes drop to her mouth when her tongue darts out to wet her lips. Silently, he takes her hand and guides it down his belly, low, lower, till her palm is pressed firm against his hard length; Halone’s breath, but her gaze turns dark and wicked as she strokes him through the soft cloth. Whatever sound he makes is swallowed up by Estinien; he’s so distracted by his mouth that Aymeric barely registers Alyzen undressing him. 

By the time Estinien finally lets go of him, Aymeric is naked, and entirely unashamed of it despite his paramours being still clothed. He lifts Alyzen into his arms, grinning at her squeal, walking her to his – to their – bed before unceremoniously dropping her atop the sheets. He watches her kick off her boots before encouraging her to lift her hips so he could slide her pants down. 

Soon he is between his loves, bare skin pressed against bare skin, and it is bliss and contentment.

Then Alyzen shifts between his legs and takes his cock into the wet warmth of her mouth, and he knows, by the devilry in Estinien’s eyes, that he is going to be in for a long, long night.

I turned my two-weeks notice in yesterday. My two friends left this week, and I haven't been able to get anything done with these hours, along other reasons.

But anyway, I know what I'm going back to doing, and that won't be for a little less than two months. I need to get a ton of writing done, but I'm also in such a tarot mood again that I'm thinking about maybe starting another tarot project and working on the ones that I started and only got a few cards done. I was gonna do an oracle as well to go with my Merlin tarot deck, but hey, I managed to get most of my tarot deck done in less than a year when I worked those hours because I'd come home and paint and sometimes get three paintings done in a week. lol.

Citron is familiar with/a fan of the Harvest Moon(HM)/Story of Seasons series and refuses to play Stardew Valley(SV) until more respect is put on its(HM) name. (Itaru thinks he'd like it if he played it though. But his opinion doesn't count because he started with SV not HM.)

Also. Once they get a bit more comfortable talking to each other and are in a better place, Orange decides to try playing some video games to better get to know Citron's interests. He intentionally buys Stardew Valley and makes jokes about things in HM reminding him of stuff in SV just to mess with Citron. (Orange: "Fascinating, the style of Harvest Moon DS is really reminding me of Stardew Valley!" "Wait, in this game this was my grandpa's farm? Huh, peculiar, that is just like Stardew Valley." Citron: （＾ワ＾）凸 Orange: 凸꒰･◡･๑꒱)

All in all though, Orange actually does take a liking to Farming Simulators in general and ends up playing those primarily, several of them. He's even following the game news on when others are coming out. Citron is a little wowed at how Orange is keeping track of so many at once, but he also makes sure that if he hears anything about any, he checks to make sure Orange has too.
