uhhh we takin emojis? can I be 🐇 anon?
anyway I just read that ask about whether you see them as cookies or just tiny humans for the sake of this blog and personally, my favorite view of them is "anatomically humans for most purpose, but with cookie traits, like jam blood, getting soggy in liquid, and most importantly crumble when hurt" because not only am I a weirdo, I love cookie body horror LOL you just punch SM and his face just. cracks. just a little.
additional tags: explicit content, impact play, blood, bruises, aftercare
ships: shadow milk cookie x reader, burning spice cookie x reader
Anon you are a genius. See, whenever I think of the Beasts and impact play (I like to think they're more physically resilient than other cookies), when you punch or slap them it's just the regular skin smacking skin, or just a trickle of jam dripping from their noses. I think Burning Spice Cookie would especially be into that; he'd frequently goad you into striking him before he can "fairly" retaliate and it's one of his favorite games.
But that disconnect of reminding yourself that they're actually cookies? Shadow Milk Cookie basically cums in his tights and he's giggling nonstop because you actually managed to crack his face, and yet if the reader was from human origin? It's not as if you broke someone's real human nose. It's easy to dismiss the cracking of a cookie as just that, or when Shadow Milk Cookie licks at his bleeding face with a dangerous gleam in his eyes that it's no big deal. I mean, it's just jam, right? Not real blood.
And besides, Shadow Milk Cookie seems to enjoy it. After you left him with a slight bruise that (somehow) is blossoming on his cookie face, he immediately turns to one of his lifeless dolls to tear it apart. You're sure he came multiple times, you can only imagine what he must have been imagining during his playtime.
Shadow Milk is purring happily intk your chest with all his bloodlust spent, and you tend to his inflicted wounds and heal his crack, so that he's good as new.
But there will always be a certain blank look in your eyes when you toss a jam stained napkin away. You and him both know that your reaction will never compare to that of actual human blood and injuries, and Shadow Milk Cookie enjoys it so much more than he can ever tell you.

Kid builds an enormous flying spiked skull mech and roars the words "PUNK ROTTEN!!" like a maniac right before we cut to Law who slowly adds one extra hand flourish to his usual quiet "ruuum" and it's just lovely. Perfect even.

question: I've had some original stories in mind that I'm planning on either making into a webcomic/webtoon, or writing them as prose in novel format. They wouldn't exactly all be aged at YA, probably more like New Adult... my only concern is that most of the ones I would write in novel/prose format wouldn't be too explicit or too, too spicy. Romance, for sure, maybe a touch of spice, but nothing like Acotar lol.
My question is: Am I ruining my chances at publishing these one day or finding an audience if they're New Adult but NOT explicitly spicy? A lot of them fit into the Queer romance fantasy and/or Cozy Fantasy categories...
I'm just wondering if it's necessary to add explicit sex scenes to new adult books in order to appeal to that audience, or if there's an audience for low to no spice queer romance fantasy books 😅🤔

I'm still thinking about that spice tolerance poll lmao... Ppl with no spice tolerance are like "ah yes hot salsa from the grocery store... Ghost peppers ... These are equivalent levels of spicy"
Ma'am there are like 15 different levels of spice between those two things they are not on the same plane of existence. It's like asking someone if they can run 1, 2, 3, 4, or 40 miles like HUH???

sometimes I forget that despite him basically being the real life doppelganger to Jim Hopper, my dad has a weaker spice tolerance than me XD we got Thai food tonight and it was like
me: *chowing down on my spicy pad thai* oh man my sinuses are clear for the first time all day...
my dad (with the same spice level, a 3 out of 5): *takes one bite and immediate starts coughing*

Ha Jungwoo being a white wine drinker and not liking spicy foods makes me think we might be fundamentally incompatible with each other. And that breaks my heart.

promise I'm writing every day. But a lot of it is unfortunately The Last Great American Dynasty, not the time travel one. TLGAD has gone from 65k words to 90k and I'm not even halfway done 🙅‍♀️ do i just change the names and publish it irl? would i be a class traitor?

List 5 facts about a favorite sim of yours, and send this to 10 simblrs whose sims you adore ♥♥♥
Because I'm getting back into my game for the first time in ages and headed back to her household, I'm gonna do Ana!
Tumblr media
She speaks English, French, Spanish, German and Swedish pretty near fluently (or close to it) and she's always learning some kind of new language just in case (Currently learning Mandarin, Dutch and Danish)
She LOVES collecting dolls, especially Barbie and Disney dolls. There are always entire rooms dedicated to dolls. Her porcelain ones are locked in a closet in one of the rooms because they frighten the staff and the kids, but Ana thinks they're really sweet looking.
She does not like white wine or champagne at all. They taste like apple juice to her, but champagne is a bit more tolerable because she only drinks a bit of it throughout an event.
She can only handle salt, garlic powder and onion powder on food (and even then it's only trace amounts of garlic and onion powder). Anything besides that is too spicy. She will taste any amount of pepper that is on food. She tried crab fries once and almost melted because it was so spicy, even with the cheese dip (yes this is a self callout).
Mosquitos freaking love this woman. She does not like them. She knows they're important to the ecosystem, but she cannot tolerate them in the summer because they flock to her so quickly. She is bitten non-stop and not even bug spray can help her.

hhhhhhhhhhhh i wanna keep playing omori because from what ive played so far the story and especially the horror elements seem really well done. I do not scare easy at all but that part with the door gave me chills.
But like,,, the thing is that the main gameplay loop is just so so so fucking dull,,,,,,, I would honestly prefer if the game followed the more traditional exploration based rpgmaker style rather than this dreary turn-based combat system.
And it sucks cos I really want to experience the game and the story but actually playing the game feels like a chore,,
