i'll still read tsc of course but i always hoped if there was more to aftg it would still be about neil even though it did seem pretty well like his story was over that epilogue just ended things so abruptly i felt and there could be more there but at honestly i would really rather something about ANY of the other foxes like rereading i was like okay kevin and andrew are the most fleshed out probably followed by dan and matt bc neil is closest to them but we could learn so much more about everyone else particularly allison, i feel like we know the least about her and i just. i love my foxes :(

Notes:

The different 'parts' will not be different chapters, but different fics entirely. There is so much stuff shoved into each individual part that if I put them all into one singular Ao3 fic it would be like 100 chapters. Sorry if thats annoying, I enjoy my organization. Each part for the most part should be able to be enjoyed separately, however they do all connect together like a big bad spiderweb.. or i guess a cork board with a shit load of red string.

This is a rewrite/AU, its not going to be accurate to canon however I try to be. Most if not all main canonical events will likely happen in some capacity within the AU, generally it may be tweaked as some aspects of the story I do not like/I've changed to have a deeper impact.

What is the AU even about??

Thought I'd properly go into it.

ONE MORE NIGHT is a Five Night's at Freddy's AU/Rewrite, that generally follows the main events and story of the original GAMES franchise, with some very minor inspirations from the books. The story will be written in third-person, and will occasionally swap point of views (in-between chapters) throughout the fic.

The story itself is more character and relationship focused. Themes i wish to explore include, the destruction of the mind/spiralling, (the stages of) grief, revenge , etc. Since generally, i dont really enjoy the fanon characterization of certain characters, I really want to explore them from my point of view, as well as develop the relationships and motivations of all the characters which I feel are sort of lacking in the main FNAF media? I'm aware its there, its never truly properly explored though.

I really like horror, and this is my first proper opportunity to get a crack at it. I highly doubt its going to be shiver me timbers terrifying, I try my best. If you want a reference for the type of horror I'm into and what I am inspired by, its mainly media such as, The Magnus Archives, as well as a few more gothic works such as Frankenstein (currently reading the book).

Content Warnings:

This story will likely include pretty graphic depictions of violence, ESPECIALLY when in referral to Micheal Afton, Jeremy Fitzgerald and William Afton, you'll never guess why. I will tag these chapters, and if needed, will provide a brief summery at the end if a person is to skip past it but doesnt want to miss what happened. Generally, i will try to avoid describing the children too graphically, since theyre, yknow, kids. But uh, yknow, its FNAF, so be warned.

Other general warnings, outside of the warnings I'll give on individual chapters include, Abusive relationships, (mild) suicidal thoughts, and sensitive topics such as grief and loss. I'm sure theres stuff I'm missing, these will be tagged in specific chapters.

Animorphs book club: Book 13

This whole book could be summed up this way:

I got mostly shitposts this time, aside from my increasing rage towards The Ellimist lmao. But that's such a constant that it's unremarkable at this point. I feel like I'm witnessing the magical mushroom grandpa guy from Morozko (1965) on steroids (genuinely no idea how else to call him but magical mushroom grandpa. He is literally called Mushroom Grandpa in our dubbing if memory serves me). Anyway:

Kinda depressing kinda hilarious how The Ellimist really is just tormenting one specific family. Elfangor died and The Ellimist went "Anyway. Time to torment his son in yet unprecedented ways. For the greater cause. Called 'winning my interstellar game of World Of Warships'."

Related to that: damn, Tobias really can't catch a break. Poor guy.

But on a funny note, the fact that that Hork-Bajir is effectively named the alien equivalent of Jeremy is hilarious. My friend and I joked about the fact that some of the alien names do sound pretty much like human names and that it's just a matter of time before we get someone who is literally named a human name but spelled differently.

Fascinating to observe what traits and things run in the family. One of the funnier things is the fact that both Elfangor's and Tobias' type seem to be blonde girls who can and will kick your ass and who do some kind of sport.

Having an emo moment also seems to run in the family (I'm kidding about this one, literally every main character is Going Through It rn but it is kinda funny to say "Ah, just like his father" whenever Tobias finishes an extra depressing monologue) (honestly he deserves to have as many angsty monologues as he wants, his whole life is one big Really Going Through It)

Kinda insane how in certain aspects, Tobias deals with the opposite things than Elfangor. Elfangor had to deal with his friend permanently becoming a Taxxon and he had to make the conscious choice not to change that when messing with time, and he had to stop Arbron from killing himself. Several times. Tobias, while a hawk and now capable of morphing again, is technically in Arbron's position here, and his friends, most notably Jake iirc, are in Elfangor's position. Well at least they don't have to deal with the time thing but you get what I mean. Also they did have to stop him from killing himself several times.

Rachel's and Tobias' dynamic is honestly so interesting. Wish I could elaborate but honestly so far I don't have anything specific to say? I just know interesting when I see it lol.

Oh, when we're talking about dynamics! I'm really enjoying the friendly dynamic Tobias and Cassie have. I was interested in knowing how Tobias perceives her at this point in time, and honestly I found it really cool that he does perceive her as a bleeding heart one with nature but that he does not see that as a bad thing. I'm not sure what I was expecting. I guess maybe due to him being a hawk, I thought that he might find her too sensitive. But it's pretty refreshing to see a take that's essentially "That someone lives as an animal that has to hunt and eat meat does not mean that they find empathy towards all of nature to be a weakness or something naive." I think most writers would have gone that route, ngl. So it's very cool to see that Tobias likes Cassie's empathy and love for nature and that their talk in book 9 (it was book 9, right?) was entirely friendly and meant to just make her consider other points of view.

Unhinged that Tobias acquired himself. His own self. He has to use himself as a morph. That's. I don't know, something about it carries an aspect of horror. Can't pinpoint what. I don't know, somehow it feels way worse than eg when Cassie acquired Rachel. I guess it's something about identity? When you have to acquire yourself to be yourself, you are no longer yourself. You know what I mean? You have become "the other", in other words, you are not you at all anymore. Now, of course, we all change so it's only natural to stop being the people we used to be, but there is something mortifying about a physically visible manifestation of it. You can't wonder "Am I me? Who even is me?" when the answer is clear and you can see it for two hours at a time. You will always be able to see it for two hours at a time. The answer in the shape of apophatic theology, defining what you are not. We don't know what you are but we know what and who you aren't. We know who you will never be again. We know when you ceased to be that person. Horrifying if you ask me.

Also really messed up how his morph of himself will forever be like 13. He as his human form will never get to grow up. And yes I know that Tobias is more or less fine with being a hawk and does clearly not really see himself as a fully human person anymore, but it's still kinda sad. He'll never see himself grow up. He'll never know how tall he would have been, what his adult face would have looked like. That version of him is gone forever and only a reminder remains. A reminder acquired willingly, but a reminder that is sure to sting a few years from now. Depressing to think about.

Once again a shitpost but I can't believe that The Ellimist just straight up gives people thoughts and orders unprompted and just throws them around. He's literally like a The Sims player. He's doing the equivalent of straight up grabbing a Sim and teleporting them out or into the pool. He's cancelling people's actions and adding different ones into the queue ksjhdksfj.

This news about Jeremy Renner and how Marvel wanted to pay him HALF his s1 salary has reignited my anger towards the show.

If you loved the show, good for you. To me, it was a huge waste of potential even if I loved some scenes. Jeremy Renner said he was excited to make a six-hour movie, but that's not what happened. His screentime was reduced, and his backstory was completely ignored. I still remember that bts photo that showed a fortune wheel and getting excited cause they were gonna show the circus...fuck them. There was no mention of his childhood, family, training, involvement with SHIELD, relationship with Laura, fatherhood, NOTHING.

The deleted scenes showed Clint's mother as a morally questionable character, which could have been refreshing in the MCU, where almost all mothers are saints. She was young and lived in her car with Clint. Did she flee her abusive husband? Did she leave Barney behind? WE DON'T KNOW! She and Clint had dreams of a house. Hey, what a great idea to explain why Clint and Laura live on a farm just like the one her mother talked about? If only Marvel had deemed it worth exploring. I guess the background of an OG Avenger is not important.

She taught Clint to steal and took advantage of his perfect aim to rob people. But Clint didn't want to hurt people cause he was only a child and knew it was wrong, so he shot elsewhere, causing her arrest. She wasn't a sweet woman telling her child everything was going to be ok, she resented him! Imagine the guilt Clint had. Did his mother manipulate him more? How long did it take her to forgive him? Did she ever forgive him? I have only my headcanons to know what happened next, cause the show didn't care to explore this part of Clint's life!

(BTW, my headcanon is that Clint's mother continued to blame him and caused him much distress. Have you seen the show Dead to Me? Remember Judy and her mother? Like that.)

Don't you think this would have paralleled beautifully with Kate and her mom?

And then what happened to him? His mother went to jail, did he go with child services? Did he go to an orphanage? Or to the circus? They took Jack from his story to give it to Kate, so did the circus storyline ever happen? Plus, they turned Jack into a joke, so they didn't even used him well.

Now, Laura. Oh boy, I'm so mad about this. Laura and Linda Cardellini deserved so much better. The actress is always so gracious, but the truth is she was treated like shit. They created an entire subplot surrounding her identity and didn't care to explore it deeply. When did she quit SHIELD? How did she adjust to life on the farm after years of working as an agent? What the hell happened between her and Kingpin? You would think the main character's wife would have a decent role, right? A poster?

I guess the story of an OG Avenger is not worth telling. I mean, after all, why would you give screentime to a man who went through abusive parents and homelessness? A man who overcame his difficult childhood to become a loyal husband, able to maintain one of the healthiest relationships in the MCU. Why would you care about a male character who broke the cycle of violence? That story is irrelevant, right?

They didn't even explore his time as Ronin! 😭

This show killed my interest in the MCU because he was my fav character, and they did him so dirty. I never expected a movie about him, I know his limits (although wtf did Ant-Man got a 3rd movie is beyond me). This show was his only chance to have the spotlight.

My delulu mind hoped he and Laura would be in Daredevil because of Laura's watch, or in a season 2 of Hawkeye. Maybe MAYBE then we would have seen more of his backstory and Laura's. Now I know that won't happen and it's disappointing, but realistically, they were just going to sideline him AGAIN. I mean, the salary reduction would only make sense if his role was small and not as Renner implies is due to his accident. A company would never do that *sarcasm*.

I'll forever mourn Clint's potential. That Winter Soldier scene was already too painful to lose, but to have his own show deleting his scenes?!

FNAF 2's plot: the Puppet is trying to escape

FNAF 2 MOVIE SPOILERS!

This post contains spoilers for scenes and new major characters that have been leaked, read at your own risk.

The Puppet is luring Abby to help her escape the pizzeria, which is why we will see the Toy animatronics outside.

Quick note: I am writing this theory assuming you are fully aware of all the FNAF 2 leaks so far.

The Toys are controlled A.I.s sent by the Puppet, in order to find Abby (idk if it's specifically her or if they are just trying to find a kid who can help). Because they are not possessed by souls they are able to leave, unlike the Puppet and the Withereds. The pizzeria is like a barrier. I know it may be contradictory because Golden Freddy is able to do so, but the animatronic itself is a ghost/hallucination. It always has been like this in the games.

How it starts: the Fazfest

It's clear to me that the Fazfest scene is the main first scene of the movie: a leak of Mike in front of the first pizzeria with the Fazfest flyers suggest so.

Upon seeing these, he goes to the event with Abby. They learn about the existence of a previous location. And this is also where she'll find the Faztalker.

Eventually Toy Freddy kills someone, chaos ensues, they run away. Does it really happen? Or are they hallucinating? No idea.

Anyways, later comes the science fair scene... siiiighhh......

The science fair

Now I don't think Toy Chica is Abby's project, but rather that she'll find her on her way to school. Mike would never allow her to bring one of those freaks XD Then you know it goes, she kills one of the teacher and chaos ensues once again.

OR, it may be a nightmare Abby has in her sleep the day before/at the science fair, following what happened at the Fazfest.

I guess this will be the final warning for Abby to join Jeremy at the pizzeria.

Regarding Jeremy Fitzgerald

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS DUDE'S GONNA DO LOL tbf I thought he would be only in flashbacks but he is the new main character + Elizabeth Lail followed the actor, Freddy Carter, on Instagram, so it really seems like he'll be with them in the present.

One thing I could see is: Mike, Abby and Vanessa deal with the Toys (as we also know that Vanessa will somewhat, crash into Mangle at the pizzeria with her car...??) and Jeremy deals with the Withereds, and they all end up facing the Puppet. I think it'd explain pretty well this whole "Come find me" thing.

Ending

The Puppet escapes and find her father (Henry Emily) who will also be present at some point.

Does it come with a cost? Hell yeah. There is no way they all make it out. Personally I think Jeremy will be a victim of Mangle's sharp teeth. But you know, "it's amazing that the human body can live without a frontal lobe." Mike and Vanessa might get their part too, I mean, this time, there will be no second chances. XD

So here's how I think Puppet's role will play out and the main plot of the movie! Of course comes along the discovery of Afton's motives, FazEnt's history, allat... But I can't wait to see what all the other scenes we got from the casting calls might be about!!

so i just saw the trailer for deliver me from nowhere and i have soooo many things to say because it's literally walk hard: the dewey cox story and i can't stop laughing

like "when bruce was little he had a hole in his floor and he is going to repair that floor and then repair the whole world" like what the fuck are you saying jeremy strong ajkejaeskes bruce's music is not music to repair the whole world, it's about repairing yourself, it's about the little things in life, it's about the working class but specially about yourself and everyone in your life! it isn't mean to be something greater and conquer the world!!!!

but honestly what i'm more mad about is the removal of nebraska's political message, granted we haven't seen the movie so i'll wait, but there is zero political message in the trailer and removing the sociopolitical context of THIS album is just unforgivable, it is literally his most political album in a context where reagan was fucking with the working class, bruce literally said in a concert that he didn't think reagan had listened to nebraska, removing that context is just so stupid and i hate it.

the rest of the movie well: i still don't like jeremy allen white as bruce but i'll get over it at least he doesn't sound so bad, jeremy strong academy award winner even tho i do zzzz with the fucking manager being main character like okay i guess, but i will say i did like the parts with his dad and mom and i spotted clarence twice so there is that my glup shitto

so. what did you think about TGR? as a book and in the context of the tsc trilogy. 🎤🎤 the world wants to know

i have yet to actually articulate my thoughts so i guess this is my official Review hehe. i’ve seen a few people say that a good chunk of it drags and they would shave off a decent portion; i can only somewhat agree a teeny tiny bit with the first part. there are times when it might feel like it’s dragging because it’s so character driven. coming from aftg i can understand why some might feel that way. things are always happening to neil and to the foxes. there are so many external forces at play—riko, drake, nathan, the mf fbi. maneuvering around them for exy is the story. neil trying to survive is the story. this second trilogy isn’t about survival; jean has already survived. a story about healing is going to be slower. and honestly i don’t see how any of this could be shaved off or included in b1 or saved for b3. as much exposition as nora gives is unconventional, sure, but it’s not bad. it’s necessary.

we unlock jeremy’s backstory—or at least a fair chunk of it. he’s such an avoidant mf of course it’ll take us time to know what’s going on in his head (which. hello????? your little brother’s suicide looms over you every waking minute and your older brother wants to ruin your life further and your other brother is Also There In Some Capacity That We Still Don’t Know and the world just keeps turning??????). we’re still learning more and more about jean’s past because of course so many years of abuse will take time to unravel. but jeremy’s voice is so distinct from jean, who is so different from neil. the pacing of these books might not be for everyone and that’s completely fair but it is the best pace for these specific stories. there’s a lot of overlap in the protagonists’ trauma (jean & neil, and jean & jeremy) but the way they go about dealing with it is so different. and that is so hard to do well as a writer so props to her. i think her grasp on her characters’ voice is so impressive.

and i’ve been meaning to say something about nora’s growth as a writer but haven’t had a chance to; gone are the days of (almost) all white cast of main characters! it was a thing she was criticized for with the original trilogy and she took it with a lot of grace. seeing the trojans lineup—the diversity in race, gender, sexuality, religion—and how natural it feels is so refreshing. it doesn’t seem like she was trying to meet a quota. she got something wrong with her debut, she learned, and she made adjustments. i will pointedly not look at another author who is equally popular here and who botched her One (1) canonically black protagonist after being called out for only writing one characters. i don’t know how she’s going to fit the rest of the school year + the moriyama/nathan case into the final book but, as i always say, in nora i trust. she is just so good at knowing exactly what her characters need and not compromising the essence of what makes them so compelling (eg: andrew going to california with kevin despite so many people saying they never want to see that bc of his history with that place. newsflash: the world doesn’t cater to your history. sometimes you have to do hard things. of course it’s andrew and not neil who accompanies kevin. eg: jean saying “have a winning day” despite people wanting a red card for the trojans. and of course it’s rhemann with a steel chair instead). all that to say… 10/10. no notes. excited to see how the exy season plays out bc wdym neil and andrew are both benched for the foreseeable future and the freshmen hate neil 😭 good luck to wymack fr and i pray we get to meet joshua and find out wtf he texted jeremy i’m so sick of guessing at that man’s thoughts even when im in his head like hellooooo

They complain about this new trilogy because it didn’t give them the same tough as nails, “bitchy” characters as AFTG. Fandoms love extremes, especially when people are awful and still get a happy ending. And I get that, it's nice to see someone not being a perfect human and still "making it". AFTG is a hopeful story. But so is Jean's???? Yet the fandom acts like he's not suffering enough, like he's getting a handout when Jeremy is too kind to him? And they act like the Trojans are these golden children with perfect lives when they're very much not? They're just normal people with normal struggles, they only look "picture perfect" when compared to the Foxes. Which is why you shouldn't do it lol

Nora said she has a problem because the only characters she finds "interesting" are the ones that have gone through unspeakable trauma and I feel like she inadvertently attracted a fandom that thinks like her for the most part (not everyone of course, and most of them probably don't even realize they do it)

I've seen people put Jeremy in the same category as Matt and Aaron aka "drug addicted side characters". Because for them only people who were tortured (Neil, Jean, Kevin when Riko shattered his hand) and sexually abused (Andrew, Jean) are interesting enough to be "main character material"

Even people that accept these new books still cling to old characters and the toxic behaviors shown in AFTG, which is why we get all these fics where Jean cheats on Jeremy with Kevin. They could just remove Jeremy from the equation completely but no. They have to include him so they can write Jean acting toxic (sure, cheating was never showed in AFTG, but there's plenty of toxic, unhealthy behaviors that are justified by the narrative). And it's also why so many people complain that these new books "read like fanfiction" because the characters are "too soft for the AFTG universe". Again they're only too soft if compared to the Foxes. The Trojans are tough in their own way. Just like every other person. I guess that’s not “special” enough smh

Not suffered enough???? JEAN????? if anything I think we’re getting into this is getting ridiculous territory with Jean. And idk if this is controversial or not but the revisiting of all his rapes/assault to make them worse than they already were (the I did ask for it scene) was unnecessary imo. Like somehow we just keep building and building on jeans trauma 😭 wdym not suffered enough please 😭😭

And maybe that’s where that ties in with Nora saying she thinks the characters who’ve been through unspeakable trauma are the only interesting characters, because yeah we can tell lol. And I’m not policing her writing or anything, she can write what she wants, but also it’s very obvious .

But of course there also is something in watching someone come from rock bottom to a more hopeful future. And like u said AFTG is a hopeful story, both in Neil’s trilogy and Jeremy & Jean’s.

To ur other point tho, I have seen the ppl who think Jeremy’s not pushy enough. I haven’t seen ppl say so about cat & Laila but I know a lot of ppl liked the way they handled things (which is not to mean they think cat & Laila handled it perfectly, tho there are some who do, and that’s their right ) .

But also it grates on me that ppl are missing like, the entire point of this trilogy 💀. Yeah the Trojans are softer than the foxes. They’re supposed to be. The whole point is learning there’s other ways to win, other ways to live, that violence and cruelty and anger aren’t always the answer. And there was a lot of meta commentary in this book like “healing stories sell less papers/ they’re getting bored of us , I think”, which I am unsure was aimed at the fandom but it kinda felt like it.

And with Jeremy … I mean the dude “destroyed” his family. (In quotes bc I don’t think it’s his fault). How that doesn’t seem like main character material is beyond me. I do heavily agree about the extremes thing—not only this but with the SA in the books. Like no matter where I go on ao3 there is always some reimagining of someone’s (not just Jean’s) SA that’s 10000x worse than what was in canon material. And it’s everyone’s right to write what they want and hc what they want and I can just filter those out if I don’t want to see them. But at some point it’s kinda like…

I've rewritten my guidelines. The contents are mostly the same, but a lot has been reworded, and some minor things have been added or deleted, so it'd be awesome if you could give them a read. I guess this is technically optional, since they're mostly the same as before.

New muses have been added. Cas and Thirteen have been moved here from their previous blogs, and I have added Fifteenth Doctor as a muse. Jake, whom I added, um, nearly a year ago... finally has an about page, now, as well. You all get free shots to fire at me about how I had an OC among my muses for a year almost without any kind of an about page.

Some muses' stories have been altered. Namely, Mary Stuart is now a modern AU based muse, and I don't write her in Reign canon at least for the time being. Ella Finnegan has had her story altered, as well, basically the way her psychic abilities work have been changed. The latter will be easy to retcon in any ongoing interactions.

All muses have at least a dossier and a character premise page. This one is something I am proud of myself for, but also fuck, I got so frustrated trying to write the character premise pages that I can see it when I look at them, what with some of them having the most simple sentence structure and all, but I figured... better some information for my characters than none??? Everyone has something, now! Also, no more half the muses only having placeholder images on their pages! PRAISE THE ABSOL... I mean, my self-discipline. Because these past weeks I have just wanted to COME BACK AND WRITE, but I made myself have those tabs for all the characters first.

It is currently nearing 2am so pleaaaaase excuse me if this post is chaotic. Hi dash love you dash.

The blog has had a bit of a makeover. Nobody look at my navigation page, the only thing I edited there so far was the colour scheme, it is outdated. I know me saying not to look is going to make people look but what can I do. Look at my muse directory and guidelines if you want to look at something, you sneaky sneaks.

The interest tracker has been updated. Chloe and Jake have been finally added on it. Cas and Thirteen have also been added on it. Fifteen has- you understand.

The tracker is the same one I've had before, but if you are interested in any of the added muses, please edit your responses. If you haven't done the tracker before, this would also be a very nice time to do it!

Going forward, I am going to go through my unaswered ooc messages and reply to people, I know there are a lot of you who have been on hold with plotting. Thank you so much for your patience. I am also going to start replying to things again, obviously. Now that my muse pages all have at least something on them, I can continue to work on them while my main focus for the blog is generally, well, roleplay. The pages being in such a state of WIP was a huge source of executive dysfunction for me.

I also plan to re-read everyone's guidelines just to make sure neither of us have edited ours so that we don't match anymore, but that'll not be done overnight with all of you.

one of the other scenes i half remember is jessa and hannah together at a train stop in the middle of nowhere with hannah yelling about her uti mid-convo while peeing at the side of the tracks. their dynamic is deranged. would 110% have a toilet paper fight. hannah would absolutely order a burrito above her spice tolerance to impress jessa

so yeah that said alex is the jessa of the group to meee w/o question. effortless cool girl but also what the fuck is wrong with her god bless <3 living in her own world at all times and it's anybody's guess what's going on in there. also there are of course these photos. that is jessa johansson if she was a man from guernsey (dont ask what thats supposed to mean because i dont know either)

So Greg Bryk regularly goes live on Instagram to chat with his followers and answer a few questions, and almost every time, someone asks if he’d like to play Joseph Seed again if he had the chance, to which he used to always reply that, yes, he absolutely would. However, in early 2022, he didn’t seem so sure anymore and said it would depend on the script (the question was specifically about a potential Far Cry 5 movie) and the writer(s). Then, a few months later, he implied he didn’t feel like playing the Father ever again because he thought the character’s story was “finished” and that Ubisoft should focus on creating new things instead…

Well, on October 14, 2023, he once again went live on Instagram and, when people mentioned Far Cry 5 in the chat, he revealed that he had reached out to Dan Hay and Drew Holmes, two of the game’s three main writers he’s become friends with, and that they had visited him “on set” (I’m not sure what he was shooting) the day before. In the past, he had already explained several times that he had loved working with them and thought the story they wrote (along with “JS”, Jean-Sébastien Décant, the game’s third main writer) was fantastic. This time, he added that Far Cry 5 was really “special” to him because the writers “cared a lot” about creating something great with amazing characters, and that he thought the whole Seed family was really well-written.

A few minutes later, when he was asked which character he would like to play again if he could, he said it was hard for him to choose because he loves them all, but he eventually picked Jeremy Danvers (Bitten) and Cobbs Pond (Frontier).

Then, surprisingly, he also mentioned Joseph.

I don’t know why he changed his mind again or if the fact he contacted Dan Hay (who doesn’t work for Ubisoft anymore) and Drew Holmes (who recently became the new IP Director for Far Cry) means anything, and I’m not sure I want more Far Cry 5 content to be released anyway (for continuity reasons), but I guess the Seed family’s return, as equally exciting and truly terrifying as this eventuality sounds to me, isn’t completely out of the question anymore in Greg Bryk’s mind!

I was lifting in the weight room, listening to my workout playlist when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Stella.  I popped out a headphone.  “Hey Stel.”  

“Hey Jer.” She looked nervous. “I think you are doing that lift incorrectly.”

I laughed softly. “Stella you look like you were far away and lost and I’m not sure why.”  

She shook her head. “I’m sorry. Can we talk after your workout?”

“Look, take some time. Like a week and think about it. I will honor whatever decision you make.” I get up from my seat. “I like you, Stella. You’re awesome.” I kissed her cheek. “But we’ll still be friends no matter what.”  

Present... 

“You’ve thought about it?” 

“I did. We need some ground rules.” She smiled and it took me a moment to understand what she was saying.  

“Wait? You’re in?” 

“Rules before I agree to anything.” She took out her phone.  “One, it's exclusive. I don’t share.  Two, testing for both of us. Three, no one else can know. Four, we agree its not a “relationship” relationship. Five...” 

“How many rules did you come up with?” My mind was racing at the possibility of having her back in my bed. Or at least, being in a bed.  

“Just two more. Five, we never do it here at work. Six, You keep ice cream and snacks stocked.”  She smiled bigger. “That’s it.”

I checked to make sure the room was clean and when I heard a knock, I straighten my shirt and open the door.

I was in the shooting range room in S.H.I.E.L.D, working on my aim with a gun. After hitting the target a few more times, I placed the gun down and took off the headphones. "You're getting better at that." I hear a familiar voice speak from behind me. I turned around to see my aunt standing there. "Yeah, well someone was getting on my ass for solely using my powers to help me fight so." I joked before going over to her. "What are you doing here Auntie Nat? Did I forget a training day?" I asked. The red head looked at me and shook her head. "Nope, no training for you. At least not right now?" Natasha said. I looked at her confused. "Then why are you here?" I questioned. "Fury wants to talk to you about something, and I was told that I had to bring you with me." She explained. "Oh god, Fury wants to see me?" I say. Natasha laughs slightly at that. "You know he thinks of you like his granddaughter. You'll be okay." She said. I just nodded my head in response. "Let me put my stuff away and grab my bag." I say before grabbing the gun and headphones before putting them back. I grabbed my bag and walked back over to Natasha. We started to head out of the shooting range before heading towards the elevator. Natasha presses the button for the top floor, and within a few minutes, we made it there.

We finally get to the door for Fury's office, and Natasha knocked on it. "Come in." Fury said from the other side of the door. I opened the door and when I walked in, I was shocked. My dad, mom, sister and brother were in there along with Maria and Fury. "Woah. Everyone is here." I say before I see Lila looking over at me and running over. I picked her up right before she runs into me. "Hey Lila." I say while holding her on my hip. "Is anyone going to explain what is going on or do I have to keep guessing?" I asked as I walked over to Cooper and gave him a hug. "Hey Coop." I say. I hear Fury chuckle slightly at what I said. "I think it's about time you join the Avengers." Fury tells me. I looked at him in shock. "The Avenges? The same people dad and Auntie Nat are working for?" I asked him. He nodded his head. I quickly looked over at Clint and Laura. "Mom? Dad? You're okay with this?" I asked them. "Well, I think it would be a good idea. I mean, you'll still be with your dad and Natasha, and you have powers and skills that will be able to help them out." Laura says. "Besides, you're here in New York more than in Iowa with us. It'll make me feel better that your father is near you all the time." She said. I smiled at her.

"You'll have me and Nat by your side to help you navigate living with the rest and fitting in." Clint tells me. I nodded my head. "What happens if I am placed with the Avengers?" I asked. "I mean other than Auntie Nat, no one on that team knows that I, let alone mom, Cooper and Lila exist. How is that going to work?" I asked the group in the room. "You'll have to go by a different last name and call your dad by his first name, that way it doesn't look suspicious." Laura explains. "We are also going to wipe your file of everything about your family." Maria says. "For now, you'll be known as Y/n L/n, a 15-year-old girl from Pennsylvania who came to New York after we found out about your powers." Fury explained to me.

I thought about everything for a moment. If I said no, I would probably continue to be a S.H.I.E.L.D agent and probably be asked against at a later date to join. But if I said yes, I would get to see my dad more often and live with him again. It was going to be weird calling him by his real name, but it would be okay. I hummed after I thought it through a little more. "I'll join." I say to the people in the room. I placed Lila back on the floor as she ran over to where mom was. "Okay, then we'll start the process to move you over to Avengers Tower and have you meet the rest of the group." Maria says as she looks at her iPad. "You'll probably move in by Monday, but for the weekend, just spend time with your family. Monday, you and Clint will come back here, and we will get you over to the tower and introduce you to everyone."
