I Need Your Support!
Hey, I'm Fallinginaforrest. If you're a fan of Starkid, Shipwrecked, The Tin Can Bros, Pulp Musicals, Smosh, Aoaoaoa, or hell, even Dropout, you may have seen me on your dash before. I create art, I doodle, I wax Poetic about fictional characters and I shitpost... about fictional characters.
Where have you seen my work? Well, I've made Posters for the Artists in Aoaoaoa (Pasadena and Silverlake Tapes), Characters for the storytellers in Shipwrecked's D&D campaign, and have a three year backlog of increasingly obnoxious fanart of my other interests.
I've recently discovered that my Maintenance Loan from the Government isn't going to cover the cost of my University Accommodation- especially not if I want to do fun things like go to the theatre, or eat. Because I'm moving to a different part of the country, I'm currently unemployed and money is draining pretty quickly in the interim!
All this to say, I need your support.
How can you support me? Good question, reader. There are a number of ways.
I have a Redbubble, where you can buy selected artworks as prints, mugs, stickers, t-shirts, etc. Redbubble only pays out if you make over a certain threshold, so if I could consistently make that threshold it would be a great impact on my monetary situation.
I have a Ko-fi, where you can donate however much or as little as you choose, and in return you get to make requests and I'll shout you out! You can leave a donation with no request/anonymously as well, if you choose to.
Finally, My Commissions are open. This is HUGE. If you commission me, this will help me in a brilliant way. I can go to university and be comfortable and secure in my education.

Please read if you’ve got a second.
Hey folks, I hope you're all safe. Apologies in advance for my english.
Since it's the first time I do this I have to introduce myself. Hello, I'm Jordana, a visual artist and industrial design student from Argentina. I'm making this post because of what's been happening in my country.
The current (25-May-2024) situation of political and economic uncertainty in my country is having a very profound impact on the lives of its citizens (me included). For the last ~8 years, Argentina has been dealing with several socioeconomic and political challenges. The economy had experienced periods of high inflation and currency devaluation. The COVID-19 pandemic also had a significant impact on the country's economy, intensifying these pre-existing problems. However, since last December, these conditions have been exacerbated.
The current far-right government (see also link)(vehement Trump and Musk' admirers, pro exploitation of national natural resources by the UK, USA and Israel, anti feminism, anti pro-choice and anti LGBTQ+, to name a few things that best describe them), has taken very controversial measures regarding economic and political management.
In the last six months the cost of living multiplied exponentially, while the unemployment rate does not stop growing, the value of the local currency is depreciated and salaries are not enough to cover basic expenses. Just so you understand, currently 1U$D is worth around $1200 Arg pesos. This value fluctuates everyday, it is constantly increasing but rarely decreasing. While an average salary here is around 200U$D a month (yes you read that right), the cost of living (for the most basic consumption of food, rent and services) has risen to over 850U$D-1000U$D a month. Because of these huge exchange rates + inflation everything costs twice, thrice the amout I'd cost abroad. Of course, this in turn has a direct impact on employment and wages and prices. The current government has taken measures like: dysregulating food, technology, rent, healthcare and other essential services’ prices, allowing mass layoffs without consequences, and more. Because of this there's been massive layoffs across the country and the supply of jobs is increasingly scarce. Not to mention the fact that in most cases wages can barely cover rent and food, if anything.
⚠️ Here's where I ask for your help. At the moment, I’m living with my parents and sisters, and we’re having a hard time making ends meet. Without any luck, I've been job hunting for a while now, but I am still currently unemployed.
As previously mentioned, I am an artist without a large following. I am currently looking to open commissions in the hopes of making some money to help me and my family get through this and for preparation in case we have to move elsewhere. I'm afraid that leaving the country will be the only solution for many of us.
I am receiving tips and donations as well!
I know everyone is giving their money to important causes right now, but if you're able I'd really appreciate any help at all to help my family and I. With the exchange rates for many of us, even a small donation could help in a big big way, you don't need to donate a lot.
Here is where you can donate:
💚Ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/jorabr
💚Paypal: https://www.paypal.me/jorabr
I know I'm asking a lot of everyone, and I appreciate so so so much all the help. Please know that I am so grateful.
Please reblog if you can. Signal boosts will always be appreciated!

the WGA strike & my future as a writer
Tumblr media
cazio here. hey. maybe you’ve noticed my chapter updates slowing down over the past few months. you also may have heard me talking about being unemployed. how do those two correlate? i’ve spent the past month in a state of so much stress & anxiety i can’t focus on anything, that’s how.
the writer’s strike/impending SAG strike (read: studio greed) is having a ripple effect on everyone in film. non-union employees (like me) are suddenly looking at potentially being jobless until 2024 with no union to help us. the singular emergency relief fund for non-union workers in entertainment won’t let us apply for aid until our bank statements prove there aren’t enough funds to pay the bills--and our request could still be denied.
as a freelancer, i typically have 6 months of savings ready to go. now i’m looking at 8 months of unemployment due to the timing of my last job ending.
in a perfect world, i would write fanfic for a living. but all of us fandom folks know it’s illegal to profit off of fanfic.
however, i do plan to be a full time writer someday. i’m in the process of finishing up the second draft of my first commercial manuscript to get published, but even if i get an agent tomorrow, it will be at least a year before i see anything come of that.
i’m starting work on another manuscript to have ready to go when the time comes--in fact, i’m converting phantoms and pencil marks into an original work called Phantom Pains. this means character and story changes that will bring new insight and new scenes & storylines to readers, even those who read the fanfic version (as in 50k words of more content).
i will be posting the first draft of the new original story chapter by chapter, exclusively on my ko-fi for my supporters.
Phantom Pains Summary & Info
Phantom Pains Chapter 1 (for supporters only)
click here to support me on ko-fi. (the membership tier names should be familiar lol)
if you don’t care about an original work, that’s fine. i get it--fanfic is special because we all know the characters involved. i have a maxiel fanfic outline and a piarles outline in the pipeline for when FG and MIATT are finished, but right now those chapter updates are excruciatingly slow, since every time i sit down at my laptop i’m faced with either writing a story for fun or applying to corporate jobs in the worst job market since 2008 (lol).
supporting me as a writer is also supporting my ability write for fun (aka fanfic). by supporting my original work, you’re helping to alleviate a crushing amount of stress preventing me from providing content for you all.
fool’s gold started after my friend lindsey sent me coffee money to sit down and write for a few hours. that $5 created the (as of this writing) most popular f1 rpf fic ever published on ao3.
if you’ve ever enjoyed one of my stories, please consider supporting me on ko-fi via membership or one-time donation.
even a small amount can make a difference - if the number of people who read each of my chapter updates bought me a $5 coffee, i’d be safe for even the worst-case scenario.

if you feel so inclined, please reblog to spread the word.

Update on Financial Issues
Hey guys! A little over a month ago I posted saying I was in financial trouble, and some people pitched in on my Ko-Fi. Thank you so much! I wanted to give everyone an update on the situation: I lost my job at the start of May - I work in food service and my boss started expecting me to cut some very dangerous food safety corners and it was just another straw on the path to a meltdown because that boss made that job just horrible. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to prove anything illegal was done, and my state doesn't pay unemployment if the employer can argue they had a reason to fire you, so... yeah. That's been fun. >< As you might guess from my wording, I am still unemployed. I've had several interviews lead nowhere and I had one interview go VERY well... only for the person in charge of hiring to need to leave for a bit for a family emergency and leave the position in purgatory until they get back. It has been a bit of mental health being shit and a LOT of bad luck. On the bright side, I was able to get rental and utility assistance, so a roof over my head is mostly covered through the summer, which is a HUGE relief. It means my monthly bills until September are down to about 250$ for things like my phone, internet, utilities I didn't get assisted with, and transportation for interviews and whatnot, which isn't NOTHING, but I've been selling some things on ebay to make up a lot of that. The biggest struggle I'm still dealing with is food - I have been applying for food stamps since I got let go, and every time I think I'm done something is wrong with it, or it gets stuck in processing for some weird reason, or I don't even know, the food stamp system here is an absolute incompetent mess. I THINK I finally got through the last of the bullshit besides waiting for them to approve it, but who knows how long they'll take with that. T_T So yeah TL;DR Ko-Fis are still greatly appreciated and help me with those few remaining expenses and food until stamps finally kick in, but they've already helped me get through the absolute worst of it for the time being. Thank you to everyone who has been helping and signal boosting. <3

Need help with housing - Mutual aid - Landlord harassment
Hey everyone, as some of you may know I recently separated with my partner whom we had a child with and have been struggling with paying rent and expenses for my self and baby since she moved. I’m still unemployed looking for part time work to have time for my baby and pay rent and utilities. In total the monthly expenses I’ll be dealing with now will be $2,000 at the very least which I don’t have. I’m struggling finding government rental assistance to help me cover the costs so I’m going here after months of dealing with this silently as I normally do from survivor’s guilt. I was in financially abusive situation and I’m still dealing with the symptoms from lack of appetite, energy to do anything, depressed, anxious.  I was dealing with my recently diagnosed thyroid (hypothyroidism) situation (I’ve had it for a while as does my mom but was only recently diagnosed with it this year) and the symptoms that come with it.
The same week I had missed my dose for my meds 2nd day I had pulled my muscles (likely from the condition + having been biking + doing hard labor without stretching) and was literally immobile for like 2 weeks or more I lost a lot of muscle mass and still struggle walking up without feeling a bit of that stress from the initial leg pull on my calf. Weeks later, as my legs were healing, the landlord ( white dude from 181 realty corp) illegally broke into my apt with super’s help even after I saw the txt he got where my partner told him I live here supposedly because of non-payment/non-lease renewal which still does not grant any one that access if you’ve lived in the dwelling for over 30 days as the law states. The situation gave me PTSD, more social anxiety and depression, suicidal ideation and loss in interest for a lot of things, emotionally distressed most the times. And now I’m in housing court again dealing with landlords engaging in criminal shit cause the city lets em do whatever they want at the expense of poor folks. I had to file a harassment case against him for the illegal break in and have a court day for may. I’m also planning on suing for the emotional, physical, and financial damages done because I had to climb back up into my apartment through the firescape my neighbor allowed me through with my legs still fucked up since he had locked me out. The same day I had to spend 580$ dollars for a new locking system. He tried coming back the next day and tried fucking with the new lock, I called the cops on him. They told him (after asking me for proof of address so imagine if I didn’t have that shit) that I have every legal right to be here (and from what housing court told me they should have actually arrested him for the break in). Right now I just need any help, love, kind words as per usual because I don’t have a large support group right now and I’m dealing with a lot of superstitious people (my family included as they typically side with the person who got money) that aren’t too helpful. I would deeply appreciate any financial help as that’s what I’m most distressed about now. Feels like I got left behind after doing so much of the housework that never got done just because niggas aint have a job in a pandemic they actually gave a fuck about from the start. Thanks for reading, again, any help is appreciated tenfold. venmo: @kennyg183

Update: I didn’t at the time of posting this on April 17th, upload any proof along with the post out of respect to those donating money so they know I’m not on here tryina con no one. Here are some of the bills I’ve had to deal with since the whole ordeal.
Tumblr media
This was from when I had spent the day at the hospital just to get checked out and told I was fine after my financially abusive ex had called them on me. This was the subtotal I have to deal with.
Tumblr media
This was from when the landlord (even after knowing I was still living there as evidenced by text kept between my ex and he) broke into my apartment with the help of the super (both while males). This had happened after I had injured my leg and had stepped out to get emergency cash from the bank, in between the 30 minutes it took me to do this they were already there doing breaking in illegally despite my rights.
Tumblr media
This is the current subtotal of my rent, I blocked out the name because this is my ex’s name since she had rights to the lease. I had sent a check of the exact rent amount and he never took it, instead charged double as though I never sent a check (my bad, I checked and it shows as this on the paper check they sent but I was told he did cash it in by my local bank). Here’s a copy of that check:
Tumblr media
I’m still readjusting the apartment to my new living situation and I’ve been planning to start selling my art again by investing in a small stock room here where I can try making some money with that and courier/delivery gigs with my bike. It’s going to cost me to get the stock room up and going and will need a printer to make my own copies of my work for once and delivery my self if buyers are in my range if not will deliver the standard mail like I normally did. Any help in these endeavors would be really appreciated as I’m going through lots of turmoil. Thanks. - Ken

hey comrade, i’m having a little bit of an issue and i’m wondering if you have any advice. i’m finding that i struggle with the “mutual” part of mutual aid—i’m part of some mutual aid groups and im always happy to help other people out, but when i need help, i’m terrified to ask because i feel like i don’t deserve it. i’m employed full-time and make a salary that would be good in a lot of places in the country, but in my extremely high cost-of-living area, i’m actually struggling a lot and often have trouble affording things like groceries and vet procedures for my dog. but a lot of the people i see asking for mutual aid are unemployed and/or homeless, and i can’t fight the feeling that they deserve aid more and if i ask for help i’ll be taking resources away from them. any advice on this (or, alternatively, do you think my instincts are right and i should hang back and let other people get help)?
This ask has been in my inbox for a hot minute -- I'm so sorry it's taken this long to get back to you, nonny, life's been a wild ride this past few weeks. Part of why I wanted to wait rather than simply replying on my phone is because I really wanted to be able to sit and think about this, and give you a genuine and considered response.
My general policy in life is that everyone deserves help.
Sure, there may be situational caveats -- I'm not likely to help a violent white supremacist --but as a rule?
Everyone deserves help.
The kind of help you need may be different, may not be as much -- maybe it's more, but for completely different reasons -- as others out there.
The existence or severity of someone else's need does not eliminate or invalidate yours.
Sure, someone donating to you may mean they don't donate to someone else. But there was no guarantee that they would have anyway. Resources are there to be used, shared, depleted and replenished. It's not your fault that we are existing under a system that punishes the poor for the crime of being poor.
The way I try to balance my own guilt for needing as much help as I do is by having a dedicated day to boosting other people's posts. My Signal Boost Sunday doesn't get a lot of traction, but I try to boost where I can. (For those interested, here's the page for it)
And keep in mind, mutual aid can take a lot of different forms, and isn't always money.
(yes, money is often the most needed, and effective way, to help someone. I'm not even gonna pretend like it's not.)
But sometimes it can be information, networking connections --
"Hey, I have a friend who needs [resource]" "Well, I just so happen to know a guy who has [resource]"
-- and those opportunities can often be a surprise, or you can search them out as the way you engage in mutual aid.
I hope this helped a little bit, nonny, and I'm gonna leave this open for reblogs so maybe a few other folks in similar positions can chime in with their thoughts. <3
Best of luck to you, comrade. And remember, to each according to their need, and from each according to their ability.

A Note from Fansplaining
If you’re subscribed to Fansplaining on iTunes or another podcatcher, you’ve probably seen that we put out a short statement this week in lieu of a new episode. Because we’re committed to making all audio we release fully accessible, we’ll transcribe the clip at the bottom of this post, below the cut. But fwiw, it’s mostly just explaining what’s in this post:
Black lives matter. We condemn white supremacy in all its forms. We believe the police should be defunded and dismantled. And we want to make sure everyone who listens to our podcast knows about ways they can contribute to this fight, and ways they can support the Black community (please note that these are U.S.-centric). We’ll be back with a new episode soon, but this is more important than anything we could say right now.
Places to donate
If you’re out of work or have lost hours in the past few months, you may not have money to spare. But even small donations—$5, $10—add up. A few organizations we recommend:
House of GG, a Black-led organization, is fundraising to build a permanent home in Little Rock, Arkansas where trans and gender-nonconforming people can both be housed and receive leadership training.
G.L.I.T.S. is fundraising to buy two buildings to create a permanent place to house and support Black trans people in New York City, as well as sign leases for space to use in the interim.
Sista Afya, a Chicago-based organization, is fundraising to keep its therapeutic services, social events, and wellness experiences under $15 and to hold large scale events like a free arts festival.
For a larger crowdsourced list, see suggestions here.
Ways to get involved if you can’t physically or monetarily participate
If, like us, you live in New York City, here’s a great resource for actionable things you can do from home. Here’s a national list, though for more granular detail for your town/city/region, you should search social media. Some great google doc action happening right now!!
As a reminder, when contacting elected officials:
Always write your own email, rather than use a form. People who work or have worked in these offices strongly advise this, and report that form emails are regularly filtered out, often directly into the trash.
Always write a postcard rather than a letter. Letters are scanned for things like anthrax and can get held up for days; postcards go straight through.
Ensure you know the official’s position on whatever you’re asking about before you call or write. If they’re already supporting or sponsoring a specific piece of legislation, call them anyway and thank them. They use constituent numbers to show that their positions have a lot of public support.
Particularly for white and non-BIPOC: reach out to your family members, as much as you feel safe doing so, and speak with them about Black Lives Matter and the issues of the day. If you have language barriers with your family members, or just need a place to start, Letters For Black Lives is a great resource that includes material in many languages.
Stream this video—all ad revenue will go to bail funds, families of victims of racist police brutality, and other Black-led organizations.
Resources on anti-Blackness and racism in fandom
Because we are a fandom podcast, we encourage white fans in particular to continue to listen to Black fans and other fans of color when it comes to racism in fandom. If you’re new to the podcast or haven’t dug into the full back catalogue, we recommend prioritizing:
Our pair of episodes on race and racism in fandom—especially anti-Blackness in fandom—featured eight different guests. Episodes 22A and B: “Race and Fandom Part 1” and “Race and Fandom Part 2.”
Ebony Elizabeth Thomas was one of our earliest and one of our most recent repeat guests. You can listen to her talk about race, children’s literature, and fandom in episode 7, “The Dark Fantastic” and episode 120, “Ebony Elizabeth Thomas.” Once you’ve listened to these episodes, buy or request that your library purchase a copy of her book, The Dark Fantastic.
Tanya DePass is the founder of I Need Diverse Games. In episode 42, “Fresh Out of Tokens,” she discussed fan/creator interaction and intersectionality in the context of games specifically.
Rukmini Pande is a well-known scholar of race and fandom. She first joined us in episode 29, “Shipping and Activism,” to talk about the ways that ships intersect with politics; then, she returned in episode 89, “Rukmini Pande,” and discussed her academic work. Once you’ve listened to these episodes, buy or request that your library purchase a copy of her book, Squee From the Margins.
In episode 48, “Con or Bust,” we interviewed Diana Pho and Mark Oshiro, two board members of Con or Bust, an organization that raises money to help fans of color attend conventions.
For further reading, Fan Studies Network North America has put together a great list of resources.

Flourish Klink: Hi, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Minkel: Hi, Flourish.
FK: Welcome to not an episode of Fansplaining. Um, we almost completely canceled recording at all, but we decided that we wanted to record a short thing, because we know some people only receive us through their podcatcher or whatever and don’t ever go to our website or our social media. So it felt important that we actually record something short today.
ELM: All right. So, just off the bat, at the risk of sounding like a terrible brand black .jpg with white letters, I think it should be obvious to everybody right now but it’s always worth restating—Black Lives Matter. We strongly support everything that is happening right now. We both strongly believe that the police should be…what word are we gonna use? Dismantled?
FK: Yes.
ELM: Dismantled. Like, we, like, you know—and like, strongly condemn white supremacy, which is the foundation of our country and much of the world.
FK: Right. So…
ELM: Very broad statement here, but like, you know, it’s definitely worth stating in explicit terms and not couching it around, you know, just to outright state support for Black people and the fight that is going on right now.
FK: Completely. And we really struggled with whether or not to record an episode because, on the one hand, there’s a lot of topics that we think would be really good to talk about that are within the purview of this podcast—stuff like the way people are using social media to organize, stuff like the entire conversation around K-pop fandom and the way that’s been going down. There’s like five things.
ELM: Spoiler, spoiler: It’s been going down poorly.
FK: Yeah.
ELM: Wait, side note: just anyone, please please please, cause I know a lot of people listen to this podcast and are in fandom but are not in K-pop fandom, if an article that you’re sharing about K-pop fans mobilizing doesn’t acknowledge the, like, rampant anti-Blackness happening within those spaces right now, they haven’t done enough research.
FK: Correct. And also, it’s both that and also if you see the narrative that K-pop fans are only bots, that’s also the other flip bad side of the coin.
ELM: Well, we should—now we’re gettin’ right into it. We’re not actually doing an episode. We’re not actually doing an episode. Yes.
FK: We’re actually gonna talk about this at some point in the future. Right now it feels like, you know, just being two white women talking about this stuff feels like not the thing to do right now? And we also don’t want to right now ask Black people to come on to our podcast and talk about things in a deeply traumatic and horrible moment. So we’re going to put a pin in the podcast and we’re gonna come back with all of those topics and a bunch of guests and basically begin to address this stuff, hopefully in a moment that’s less fraught. Is it ever gonna get less fraught? I don’t know if it’s gonna get less fraught.
ELM: That being said, let’s play it by ear! Because I could not tell you what’s gonna happen two weeks from now, but like…
FK: [sighs] Yeah, I really don’t know either.
ELM: Just, we’ll see. So in the meantime, we are going to put a post on Tumblr so it’ll be shareable, and we are going to include resources—places to donate, in particular places that aren’t getting as much attention. More grassroots stuff that we’re seeking out right now. And also ways to be active and involved for people who don’t have the money or physical ability to be protesting right now, because I am very aware of the narrative of “You should be in the streets! And if not then you should donate!” And it’s like, well, what happens if you are unemployed and also physically unable to get out there? There are so many ways that you can really be, actively lend your support right now.
So we’ll put those in there, and then also, we shared on Twitter a thread of great resources about anti-Blackness and racism in fandom, and since this is a fandom podcast we’ll be sharing some of those in that post as well, because it’s all connected.
FK: Absolutely. All right, everyone out there, stay safe, stay strong, if you’re in the streets stay in the streets, and we’ll be back when we can.
ELM: OK, bye Flourish!
FK: Bye, Elizabeth.

Fuck you not everyone can afford to donate and some people want to physically own midnight sun you’re not better than anyone else
(This is in regards to this post and some of the things I’ve reblogged)
So this has been sitting in my ask box for a couple days. I usually just try to ignore hate and that’s what I planned on doing with this. But this isn’t just random hate. My word choice wasn’t the best and it caused problems. This person has every right to be angry and upset with me.
I put similar stuff to what I’m gonna say in the tags of a post I reblogged, so if this seems repitive I’m sorry.
My intention has never been to make feel guilty and like if they don’t donate money they are a bad people. But just because my intention wasn’t to cause harm that does not mean that they cannot cause harm when applied to words and actions.
I have been really pushing for people to donate and not give smeyer money. But I DO NOT judge anyone who can’t donate, wants to physically own the book, etc. Your money belongs to you and you decide what to do with it. So many people cannot afford to donate, especially right now with so many people unemployed, and that doesn’t make them any worse than someone who donates a million dollars. And even if you can afford it, you don’t have to donate. Also, a lot of people want to physically own this book(and the other twilight books) and that’s great! I wasn’t trying to attack people who do! I love having physical copies of books!!! But I was just trying to give people options. Some of the people who buy the book are going to match the amount they pay for the book with a donation. Some of them can’t afford that. Some of them can afford it and don’t want to donate for a myriad of reasons. All of that is valid. And it would be ridiculous for me to think that every single person is going to pirate a copy of midnight sun or any of the other twilight books. Every single one of us has supported the twilight saga and it’s associated works. Whether through buying the books/movies, buying merch, making posts about it that spread the series to more people, etc. And I’m pretty sure ALL OF US hate smeyer and the problematic things she’s done. And we can still buy things that make us happy while hating her. NOBODY is morally superior for choosing to spend money on Midnight Sun or not.
My intentions when I made my post about “not” finding copies online were originally to help people who might not know about that and can’t afford to spend that. I found the online copies at a time where I truly could not afford to spend any excess money. Thinking back on that, I figured if I couldn’t afford four new books(midnight sun hadn’t been announced yet) maybe others couldn’t as well and weren’t aware of the online copies. And then I thought about not really wanting to support smeyer by rebuying the books, anyways. The day I made my post I ended up having a tiny bit of extra money. I’ve been hearing a lot about reservations around the country not getting enough resources during the pandemic. So, I thought I’d throw in a little message about donating to local tribes and the quileute people(since they’ve been directly harmed by smeyers portrayal and never received a cent from her). I figured I could take the money I wasn’t spending on buying the twilight books and donate it to them. But that doesn’t make me morally superior AND I wasn’t trying to make anyone else do the same. I really don’t want anyone to feel like they have to do anything.
I think(please correct me if I’m wrong) I had good intentions BUT the impact was harmful and ignored the positions and needs of so many. If my post or reblogs have hurt you and made it seem like I think I’m better than anyone for pirating books and donating money, I am truly sorry. I wasn’t thinking of the damage my post could cause and I need to do my best to change and start thinking more carefully before I post.
Thank you for calling me out. I’m not a perfect person by any means. I make a lot of mistakes and I don’t always see how things I do might end up negatively affecting someone. I may not be perfect, but I’m capable of learning. I need people to call me out when I’m bad so that I can realize the weight of my actions, learn from my mistakes, and grow to be a better person. I know it can be hard to call people out. I know you’re angry with me and I understand the reasons and sentiment behind that anger. I am sorry.

Cover: Ghislaine Maxwell scandal explodes
Tumblr media
Page 2: George Clooney was rushed to the hospital after rapidly dropping 28 pounds to play an ailing astronomer in his latest movie The Midnight Sky and the harrowing incident has infuriated worried wife Amal Clooney -- George’s scare came when he was diagnosed with life-threatening pancreatitis days before he was scheduled to start filming on a glacier in Finland -- Amal was unhappy and angry that he put his health on the line for the role and she was also furious because this wasn’t the first time the father of her twins has been in harm’s way and she’s demanding he take better care of himself so he’ll be around to care for his kids
Page 3: Lori Loughlin’s deluded daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli is clueless over the college admissions scandal that landed her parents in jail and believes her own hype according to a body language expert -- in an interview on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk Olivia claimed she had no idea posing for pictures on a rowing machine to finagle a crew scholarship to the University of Southern California despite never having practiced the sport was deceitful but body language expert Susan Constantine said Olivia doesn’t appear to have any understanding of the consequences of her actions or those of mom Lori and dad Mossimo Giannulli -- after observing Olivia’s confession Constantine said she didn’t notice any deceptive indicators such as pauses in her speech or shrugging of her shoulders however she labeled Olivia completely unequivocally oblivious which she said made it challenging to judge Olivia’s truthfulness
Page 4: Lonely Diane Keaton is longing for love and she’s turned to former flame Jack Nicholson for help in landing a new guy -- Diane is truly desperate to find a man and she knows if there’s one person who can help her navigate the dating scene after all this time it’s Jack -- the Oscar-winning actress shocked the world when she recently admitted she hasn’t been on a date in 35 years and she made a joke of it but the pandemic has made her realize how lonely she really is -- Diane would never date Jack again but knows he has a lot of eligible friends who would fit her dating profile
* Dying Olivia Newton-John worries endlessly about her daughter Chloe and made a touching final request of close pal John Travolta: Please take care of Chloe after I’m gone -- Olivia’s concerns for Chloe spiked after she blasted the COVID-19 vaccine on social media writing that natural medicine is the party she belongs to -- Olivia has been battling stage 4 breast cancer while John lost his wife Kelly Preston to the same disease and John loves and admires Olivia for the way she’s battled this disease and she’s given him the hope and encouragement he needs -- now Chloe’s ongoing issues have pushed Olivia to beg John to pledge he’ll be there for her daughter because Chloe has spent over $450,000 on multiple plastic surgeries including breast enhancements and a nose job and lip enhancements and Botox and she’s also battled anorexia and depression which led to bouts with cocaine and alcohol addiction -- Olivia has always been deeply concerned about who would look out for Chloe if she wasn’t around and now that she can see the end is near she asked John to be that person; he never blinked an eye and said of course
Page 5: Ozzy Osbourne’s frail and feeble appearance has friends fearing for the rocker but he has no plans to abandon a 2022 comeback even if it kills him -- the 72-year-old singer has battled Parkinson’s disease and crippling nerve damage but has vowed he will die onstage -- nobody disputes he has the heart of a lion and it’s great to see him out and about again recording music and talking the good talk but ultimately Ozzy is a very sickly guy who needs to protect himself and not charge around trying to delude himself by living life at a pace that doesn’t make sense anymore
Page 6: Rattled reality star Kylie Jenner is living in fear after being terrorized by two crazed fans and is now spending $350,000 a month on a 25-person security detail -- Kylie filed court documents seeking a restraining order against Justin Bergquist who allegedly broke into her $36.5 million California home last month
Page 7: Lonely Ryan Seacrest may have nearly half a billion bucks in the bank but he’d trade in his riches for another shot at love -- he was so devastated by his breakup with on-again off-again galpal Shayna Taylor last summer he fears he may never find a woman to spend the rest of his life with and he now realizes her put his career before his personal life one too many times and may suffer for it forever -- Ryan’s recent health woes have been a wake-up call and forced him to understand the price he’s paying for taking his partners for granted for so long -- Ryan now realizes life is too short to go it alone and it’s finally dawned on him he’s not invincible and not so self-sufficient after all
* Miley Cyrus’ admission that she’s had a lot of FaceTime sex has left friends and advisers fearing she may be setting herself up for some unwanted exposure -- though Miley explained she’s turned to virtual hookups to avoid physical contact during the pandemic but she’s putting herself at an entirely different kind of risk and she’s setting herself up as a potential victim of revenge porn
Page 10: Hot Shots -- Brooke Burke showed off her toned figure in Malibu, Andrew Garfield looked bored on the NYC set of Tick Tick...Boom!, Busy Philipps cleaning, Audrina Patridge and her daughter Kirra on a Beverly Hills playdate
Page 11: Guy Fieri is eating up heaps of praise for handing out $500 grants to more than 43,000 restaurant workers across the nation -- he scrambled to raise over $21.5 million in seven weeks to help legions of unemployed restaurant laborers who have suffered financially due to the COVID-19 health and economic crisis -- through his new Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Guy personally buttonholed fat cats at cash-rich corporations such as PepsiCo and Uber Eats and Moet Hennessy USA to make donations -- he shows how he did it and shines a light on the industry’s continuing challenges in Restaurant Hustle 2020 a documentary he produced for the Food Network
* Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are spreading yuletide cheer with their TV holiday special but they’re more interested in ringing cash registers than Christmas bells -- Garth and Trisha rake in $60 million a year from concert ticket sales and CD purchases and merchandising but the couple saw their cash flow slow during the pandemic -- they lost a bunch of money but they had the unique opportunity to do TV specials and grab a big chunk of it back -- while the $10 million they are pocketing for their TV specials won’t make up for what they would have netted on tour it was a sweet stocking stuffer and they both want to get back on the road and really rake it in but TV has made the wait a lot easier
Page 12: Straight Shuter -- With Beyonce and Taylor Swift facing off for Song of the Year at the upcoming Grammy Awards producers are scrambling to prevent another Kanye West explosion like what happened in 2009
* Killing off The Talk may be the only hope of saving Drew Barrymore’s tanking talk show
* The Real Housewives of New York are treating the first Black cast member Eboni K. Williams with kid gloves because no one wants to come across as racist
* Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts (picture)
Page 13: January Jones’ desperate bid for online attention has pals concerned she may be cracking up -- her red-hot career appears to have cooled since Mad Men ended in 2015 and January is dying to land another plum part like Betty Draper but she’s going about it the wrong way -- she’s been posting sexy bikini pictures and leggy dance numbers on Instagram but that’s not the way to catch the eye of casting directors especially with so few shows in production during the COVID-19 lockdown
* Caitlyn Jenner has reached out to trans actor Elliot Page offering to be his big sister in an opportunistic PR ploy -- while Caitlyn was one of many trans celebs including Jazz Jennings and Geena Rocero to offer Elliot congratulations and support, Caitlyn viewed the announcement as a new opportunity to leap back into the limelight and she believes that by aligning herself with Elliot she can regain her status as an activist and the symbol of transgender rights in Hollywood -- Elliot is happy to listen to Caitlyn’s advice but he’s been navigating his gender issues for years and doesn’t need guidance and he’s not going to be rude but he doesn’t need the help
Page 14: Crime
Page 15: A never-before-heard audio recording is of iconic soul singer James Brown’s wish to leave his $100 million fortune to educate poor children -- in the garbled 1999 recording the singer who died suddenly in 2006 called the creation of his I Feel Good foundation his lasting legacy but his precious foundation has not seen a dime because his fortune has remained tied up in court since his death which is the subject of an investigation by the Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney’s office after allegations surfaced that Brown might have been poisoned by someone after his money
Page 16: American Life
Page 17: What Shocked and Rocked in 2020 -- the best scoops and stories of the year
Page 25: Fired Hillsong Church pastor Carl Lentz was so starstruck by his celebrity parishioners he believed he was a star himself and his ego fueled his shocking fall from grace and now he’s getting mental health treatment after being accused of cheating on his wife and getting sacked for moral failures -- Carl tended the trendy megachurch’s New York City flock and regularly rubbed shoulders with celebs including NBA star Kevin Durant and singer Selena Gomez and even once invited Justin Bieber to live with him before being booted by bigwigs but now he’s said to be getting help at an outpatient facility specializing in depression and pastoral burnout but cunning Carl may have made the move simply to revamp his wrecked reputation
Page 26: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are heading to couples therapy in a desperate bid to stay together because their marriage is hanging by a thread -- the pair are at each other’s throats as they struggle to adjust to their new life in America -- Harry’s gone from being excited about the move to feeling tortured and it’s like he swapped his royal prison in Britain for a new hell in a $14 million California mansion and he fears he’s made a terrible mistake but Meghan’s ordering him to man up and grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make millions away from the monarchy’s suffocating shadow -- the fighting came to a head before the holidays when Harry was feeling especially homesick and guilty about abandoning his family especially his brother Prince William and his grandmother Queen Elizabeth -- adding to their troubles Meghan seems hellbent on staying in the public eye during the pandemic and she masterminded their personal video calls to charities in London and the U.S. and the secret deliveries of meals to the needy but then she made them public and the truth is it’s The Meghan Show now and Harry’s just the side act
Page 27: A charming Chinese spy bedded two Midwestern mayors and courted other clueless politicians to weasel her way into U.S. government circles -- Chinese national Christina Fang also known as Fang Fang, reportedly entered the U.S. as a college student in 2011
Page 31: Candice Bergen moaned that at the age of 74 she’s a wreck and that she has a wattle -- Candice admitted to having her eyes done while filming the Murphy Brown reboot because they were very hooded and as for today she knows she should have injections because she has deep lines along her lip but she can’t take the pain
* Rachael Ray lost her New York home to a blazing inferno but her holidays were salvaged by the warmth of community spirit -- following the devastating fire she and her husband moved into the property’s guesthouse and in a clip on The Rachael Ray Show the emotional host showed off her festively decorated digs and gushed she didn’t know where she’d be without friends and a community and people so dear to her that helped her bring Christmas to life even when you’re not at home
Page 32: Health Watch -- blood test predicts Alzheimer’s
Page 34: Longtime lovebirds Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are hoping to make a movie with their whole family -- the star-studded cast would include Goldie’s kids Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson and the couple’s son Wyatt Russell -- as for filming with the entire gang Goldie gushed that they have thought about it and she’d love to do something with her kids and the grandchildren too
* Hollywood Hookups -- Kristin Cavallari and Jeff Dye heating up, Malik Beasley and Larsa Pippen dating but Malik’s wife Montana Yao filed for divorce, Chrishell Stause and Keo Motsepe dating
Page 36: Infamous Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont has a storied history of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll ever since it opened its doors in 1929 and nearly a century later it hasn’t been tamed -- even during the pandemic the majestic hotel is wild with drunks, overdoses and luckily averted suicide attempts and according to 911 records the debauched celebrity haunt is filled with people having breakdowns -- the Chateau’s crazy days and nights are legendary: it’s where John Belushi died in one of the bungalows in 1982 from a deadly cocaine-heroin concoction
Page 38: One of the most iconic images from the James Bond films which is a handgun used by Sean Connery in Dr. No has sold for $256,000 at auction in Beverly Hills -- the gun is a deactivated semi-automatic Walther PP pistol -- the winning bidder who asked to remain anonymous is an American who’s seen every James Bond film with his children -- a helmet created for Tom Cruise in Top Gun also sold at the auction for $108,000 while a sword used by Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction sold for $35,200
* Dolly Parton has one major thing left on her bucket list which is she wants to see Beyonce sing Jolene one of the country star’s signature songs -- Jolene has been recorded more than any other song Dolly has ever written but that isn’t enough for her because she also wants to see it updated by one of the top female stars of a new generation -- it has been recorded worldwide over 400 times in lots of different languages but nobody’s ever had a really big hit record on it and Dolly always hoped somebody might do it someday by someone like Beyonce
* Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has wrestled his way into the alcohol market with his own tequila brand and lifted it into first place as the most successful spirit launch in history and he’s even on track to double George Clooney’s first-year launch -- Dwayne is expected to move more than 300,000 cases of small-batch Teremana Tequila in its first year of trading
Page 40: Smitten singer Rihanna has fallen hard for A$AP Rocky but friends fear the playboy rapper will leave her broken-hearted -- Rocky is a charming guy but he also has a love ‘em and leave ‘em reputation and everyone’s concerned she’s more into him than he is into her -- Rihanna’s desperate to meet a man she can see herself with for the rest of her life and she believes Rocky might be the one but everybody thinks she’s rushing into things with Rocky -- Rocky is not interested in a long-term romance and Rihanna shouldn’t be thinking of this as more than a port in the storm
* Lizzo is livin’ large and she’s showing every inch of her jiggles and folds on TikTok -- the body-positivity enthusiast wore a white bikini for an all-angles video in which she amply demonstrated the tricks models and celebs use to look slimmer -- she bared her belly and back and legs and sometimes jiggled her thighs or grabbed a hunk of herself to prove there’s more to luscious ladies than meets the eye and wrote, “Wild to see the body positive movement come so far. Proud of the big girls who gave it wings.”
Page 42: Red Carpet -- The Crown stars -- Claire Foy, Emma Corrin, Gillian Anderson, Vanessa Kirby, Erin Doherty

Hey so I’m an actual homeless person and I wanna talk about how the coronavirus panic is directly and immediately harming poor/homeless people
First off, I’ve been homeless for two years. I’m currently unemployed because no one wants to hire me no matter where I apply to, and my dad works Lyft nearly everyday to help us pay bills and have a place to live (we live in and out of hotels)
Because of the mass panic, less people were taking trips over the weekend. After four hours of working my dad only made $28 on a Saturday morning. This means we immediately became displaced and are now living in our car with our belongings and our dog
I’m lucky to get food benefits from the state, but when people hoard food it makes it harder for me to find things I can safely store and eat in the car that I can actually afford. The only loaves of bread that were left in the store today were specialty breads (rye, organic, etc.) and cost $4+. There were also very few cans of food left, like canned chili and ravioli. This means I was able to buy even less food than I normally could have for a higher cost, and had to try and make do with things like crackers and snack bars, which will technically fill you but have very little nutritional value. Thankfully I was able to find one liter bottles of water for $1 each and could stock up on some for the day for us and the dog.
But my point is that with water shortages and food hoarding, homeless people who desperately need these things for basic survival have an even harder time getting them. Not everyone has benefits or can afford a $4 loaf of bread. Not everyone can find water. If enough restaurants decide to close their inner dining areas then that will leave even fewer options for the homeless to use a bathroom and/or get free water. And due to the nature of my situation, this is something I have to worry about on a daily basis.
I could care less about getting the coronavirus. If I did get it, I could more than likely get government assisted quarantine and have a place to live for two weeks. But because neither my dad nor I have it, there is no help for people like us right now. Think of how many homeless people are on the streets right now, tonight, who are struggling to find water and cheap food, or who have to go to the bathroom on the sidewalk. This was already a reality in places like San Francisco, but now with this mass panic over coronavirus it makes these issues even worse
In California alone (where my dad and I live) there are 129,000+ homeless people. That’s 129,000+ people in their cars or on the streets that are at immediate and severe risk of dehydration, starvation, diseases of other kinds spreading from not being able to use a normal bathroom or use toilet paper, and even death. This is a real issue my dad and I are facing right now.
I’m making this post for two reasons:
1. To beg for help from my peers, as dad and I are desperate to get back into a hotel room and try to work and keep a place to live (as weekdays have been better for working, even during this panic, and because we are getting some money on Friday that goes to bills and room costs)
2. To inform everyone about a situation they may not be aware of and spread information about a reality many are facing.
This is your reminder: DO NOT HOARD FOOD OR WATER. There is no reason for shelves to be completely empty of water and cheap food staples. No one needs 15 cases of water for a 14-30 day quarantine. No one needs 47 cans of any kind of food staple. When you hoard food and water of any kind you are actively and directly harming poor/homeless people. We may be the lowest rung of society, but we still need to live, and we deserve to be treated like human beings too.
And now, if you’d like to help someone suffering from this whole coronavirus thing and being homeless, it’d be very nice if you decide to donate some money to me. Any money I get will be either used for gas in the car (for us to run the heat and charge our phones off and on), used to buy dog food and cheap pain medication (Advil, Tylenol), or if I get enough in donations will be used to get us back into a hotel and have a place to live and get dad back to work
So please take this to heart, and please help out if you can.
To donate, please use my PayPal: https://www.paypal.me/ChayneGreer
Or if you prefer to use Zelle, message me directly for my info there.
Also share this as much as you can. Not just for me to get donations, but also just to inform others of the kind of issues people like me are facing. These are the problems that really need attention

Hey there yall! I just wanted to make a quick post here in case this info will help anyone:
I recently started donating plasma in August because I was unemployed and desperate for funds. They paid really well for the first 5 donations at the center near me, and paid decently for following donations so long as there was consistency with visits. It wont be the same pay or proceedure for every CSL but I imagine a lot of them have some sort of bonus starting payment.
More recently I was actually hired on at the plasma donation place near me and I really love the work environment!
For those of you in need of money, I know its messed up that you have to literally sell blood/plasma to make some income, but I HIGHLY recommend it if you are healthy enough to.
And if youre looking for a job and have a CSL Plasma center nearby, I HIGHLY recommend looking into employment there. They train ON-SITE, no college or medical training necessary (Except for MSA/Nurse position). All you do need is proof of a highschool diploma or GED. Its an AMAZING opportunity to get into a medical setting for a career path. And if you have retail/customer service experience they really love that and you can probably negotiate a higher starting pay because you're dealing with people all day.
I have a referal code that I can give to people whove never donated with CSL Plasma before that will get you $5 extra on top of your first donation payout (and it will help me a lot with a $25 referal payment 😩) just hmu for it!
As for anyone who may be interested but wants more info on what goes on and what the job entails, please feel free to hmu on IM! Id be more than happy to explain how things operate!

So since tumblr crashed and I lost my entire post for this I’ll try one more time!
My name is Cyril, I am 20 years old, I am currently unemployed but looking for a job in my area, I have severe anxiety and depression which, I have my emotional support animal to help me cope with.
My ESA is my cat, and his name is Smaug, and he needs some help right now. He has been stuck with a cone around his head since November 2018, my mother saw this as the perfect solution for his problem of ripping his fur out. It is now May 2019. My cat’s fur is constantly in mats, and what areas he can reach he has licked into open wounds.
I have been asking my mother to take him to the vet, for his sake, and because as you can imagine seeing him like that puts a strain on my heart. She has been saying for months that she would, and I have come to the conclusion that she most certainly will not. I want my cat out of this cone now and into a better state of living, this is no way for him to live.
I do not have my PayPal linked to a bank account as of yet, however, once I finally get a job I can actually have enough to open a bank account and then I can link it to PayPal. What I wanted to do was make a donations post, and collect whatever I could to help me get closer to being able to take him to the vet when I finally have a job. I have estimated that a visit to the vet, just to be able to know what is wrong with my cat, would cost somewhere around $100-150 in my area, not including whatever medications or treatment they may give him. I do not anticipate being able to raise that much, and that is fine! Whatever I can raise is perfectly fine, as it will help me get closer no matter what. I do have to take care of my own expenses (my mother very, very seldom buys actual groceries so it would be nice to not have to skip eating every other day/every few days once I have a job) so the more I can raise, the closer Smaug will be to receiving treatment.
Sorry for the long post, I’ll post my PayPal (it’s in my deadname) and pictures of Smaug below!

A new blog
Hi there!
This is an SCP Blog for a game that I’m going to be working on mostly by myself. Facility Zero (or Site Zero) is a project for me to learn how to make stuff in Unreal Engine, but I figure others might be interested in this SCP Universe AU. This post is quite long, so I’ll put a lot of other information under the cut.
TLDR: I’m making a game based on an AU for the SCP Universe. It’s a side project that I don’t intend to make money on unless people buy from the redbubble collection I made or donate to me directly. I’m not a game developer, so there’s no real structure for getting it going right now. I’ll be posting some original SCP ideas here as well as updated/AU versions of some classical ones. Direct links to the original works will be provided.
So, without further ado, here’s the first post! Here are a few answers to some potential questions:
What is this au?
There was an end of the world even that happend in the late 1980′s. SCP-001 reacted, effectively stopping the end of the world. The consequence? Three members of the original foundation managed to retain all knowledge of the Foundation, but all of the SCP objects were lost. They spent the next few years rebuilding the Foundation. Some of the former SCP objects they have been able to find, while others have taken on new identities. There are some new ones too (ones that I’ve come up with on my own).
How many people are working on this?
Just me (lilpuppyzizi) so far. I don’t know if I’ll bring others in.
What programs are you using?
Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI, and Unreal Engine are the primary products.
Can I help?
If you would spread the word about this blog, that would really help me stay motivated!
How much will this game cost when it’s done?
Nothing! :) This is a side project that I’m working on to learn Unreal. I don’t want to make money off of it, other than people buying art from my redbubble collection for the game. Or, if you want to just donate to me directly, send me a DM.
What do you have done so far?
Not much. I have the base idea for the universe, I have a few object ideas, and I have a logo for the new Foundation. I also have some railing done, a blueprint of the ground floor to the facility done, and a door object done. The door object is in Unreal right now, and opens when you hit E with a door sound effect. So uh. Yeah. Not much. I’ll be posting another update when I have something more significant, otherwise I’m just going to be posting the ideas for objects here for those who may want to read about it all.
If you’re so early in development, why make a blog?
I made a really neat logo. And I want a place that I can access easily to be able to have references to the stuff I write that isn’t google drive. I also want to get the word out that I’m doing something, so if people are interested can either ask me questions or like, follow it or something.
A few things to know:
I am not a game designer. I have a degree in 3D Animation. So I don’t know if I’ll have a development log right now. I have things that I want to get done.
I don’t know when I’ll have a demo available for people. Sorry!
As of making this post, I am unemployed. Because of that, I have time to work on this. But, if I get a job in my field, updates might slow down here on the game development side. I might still write lore stuff and post it here, but as of right now I don’t know.
