Was watching a bamsara TROD stream and decided “Yknow what? Fuck it! First fanart in years!!” So here have Narinder and the Lamb, with a little spice on narinder’s weird face open thingy. Funky fellas!! Im super proud of the headshots tbh! I love Narinder’s boss fight sm, and was so very excited to doodle that form. May have been the whole point of the art

I was trying to go for soft and unthreatening for the lamb, like a hidden terror. So kind and gentle with followers, but a fucking MENACE normally. Considered sprinkling a little body horror in there to fit with the game, but thats something for another time!

May or may not be in the process of creating my first ever fan au, so if you vibe with this art stay tuned!! Its kind of a prologue thing? Set in the universe, but not centered around nari and lamb as much. Still developing, so Ill prob post the refs once I have a clear idea of what im doing >:)

Douma:He was the one to teach you to how to use your powers and what to watch out for when he turned you two into demons. Everyone often sees you and Miguel with him with you usually taking a nap as you tired from the spider societies shit. Now no one can really say shit about you two as they know Douma or the other demons will beat and kill them :)

Akaza:He is much more gentler to you and while he is gentle to Miguel just not the same amount of gentleness as he and Miguel play fight while you only play fight with very few people. He definitely lets you two sleep on him and he’ll do both of your hairs. When you were still a young demon you called him “Big Aza!” As You didn’t know how to pronounce his name yet and he loved it

Hantengu + Clones(Funky fellas):You definitely have accidentally stepped on Hangtengu when he was small since you keep forgetting he shrinks, Miguel laughs at it. The clones definitely let you get on their back but their extra careful as they don’t wanna harm you. Miguel will carry them randomly since he finds it funny

Muzan and Kokushibo:Muzan often lets you rest your head on his lap as you take a nap and he will play with your hair as it makes you extra sleepy :3. Kokushibo taught you how to use a sword just for extra safety. While neither of them care for Miguel they won’t attack him as they know he’s the only person you truly care for and you will feel alone if Miguel died so their protecting you both but only for your happiness

*claps my hands together giddily* my time to shine, thanks Casey! Honestly it's going to be the hardest to narrow down solely to just five. I'm only going to be including characters from the films (otherwise this would be a very different list) and I'm running on the basis that they don't have a huge role in affecting the plot and primarily function as background characters (so no Paige or Zorii or Kaydel on this list, but know that I adore them)

Snap Wexley. Although technically my love for Snap is definitely born a little bit out of the Poe comics, I still adore the moments we get of him in the movies, rare as they are. That quick little shot at the end of tfa where we see him and Poe looking excitedly at each other in the bg when the map is complete? I adore them both so much. Shout out to Poe's canon bestie, and also bigger shout out to Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga for going "he's fine nothing happened on Exegol what the fuck are you talking about"

Tallie Lintra. MY LOVE. MY ABSOLUTE BELOVED I'M SO SORRY THAT EMO ASS BLEW UP THE HANGAR YOU WERE IN...anyway, I just love the vibe that Tallie gives off in her few scenes we see of her. Plus an A-Wing pilot?? FUCK YEAH. I'm always gonna adore A-Wing pilots (I have a soft spot for A-Wings, my dad gave me a toy A-Wing as a kid)

C'ai Threnalli. I just love C'ai. Running theme here in that all my faves are pilots (is anyone shocked? I mean, really?). He seems like an absolute sweetie. I love the canon details we got of him outside the movie as well - that he's one of Poe's frequent wingman and understands Poe pretty well/they're close because of it, and that C'ai doesn't speak Basic. Also the hug between him and Poe at the end of tlj is SO SOFT and sWEET I love it sm. I also just realized a couple weeks ago that you can actually hear Poe say his name, so I finally know how to pronounce it (it's said like Kai)

Beaumont Kin. Beaumont you funky little autism, you. I love the fact that his scenes in tros is just him infodumping about his special interest. This man was a professor before he joined the Resistance? He's estranged from his shitty family, has a special interest in the old republic (and altho now it's not on wookieepedia i swear at one point it was canon he had visited like - some sith planets to take a look at the historical sites).

Captain Canady. The one and only First Order fella to make the list. Why is he on here? Because for reasons unknown even to me, I love him? He's so exasperated in the like....five minutes of screentime he has in tlj, and looks like he's 0.5 seconds away from materializing off that dreadnought onto the Finalizer to throttle Hux, which is...valid as hell, and funny as fuck to watch.

Honorable Mentions (some of whom felt a little too plot relevant to include): Larma D'Acy, Wrobie Tyce (another pilot, also D'Acy's wife!), Jessika Pava, KALONIA my beloved I'm sorry you couldn't fit into the list, Peazy (PZ-4CO), Ushos S. Twilight Advent ‘22

Day 15 (12.15.22) - “Tell us about a Twilight OC you love (your own or someone else's).”

This is gonna be a long post, so just beware.

About ... mmm, seven or eight years ago now, I came up with the idea of Crew Bishop. I firmly believe Leah should have a happy ending and since SM won’t give her one, I’m more than happy to do so. Crew has, in turn, become very near and dear to my heart and I haven’t finalized every detail just yet. Leah has always been one of my favorite characters within the Saga and I desperately want her to have a happy ending that doesn’t involve imprinting on some random fella. Imprinting is a whole ‘nother gripe I have with SM.

This is gonna be part Leah headcanon, part Crew headcanon.

So about two years after everything happens in “Breaking Dawn,” Leah fully accepts there’s nothing to keep her in La Push/Forks: Sue eventually moves in with Charlie, Seth is working on himself (see my Day 12 post), and Jacob has Renesmee his own life. Even Sam and Emily have moved on with their lives with a recent wedding. Leah decides it’s time to move to “big city” Seattle, finds a really cool apartment downtown, and a job at a funky little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. She absolutely loves her co-workers and they’ve formed this unconventional family unit; wherein everyone meets once a month for raucous “family style” dinners and game nights. Once or twice a year her bosses will treat them to a really nice dinner out.

After a year in Seattle she decides to take classes at the local community college where she majors in American Indian Studies and minors in folklore. She also has a “side gig” as a freelance writer: submitting loosely veiled stories about her life, what it’s like growing up on a reservation, some short stories; yada yada yada. She continues to phase about once a month, but she’s not really sure why she does it. She tells herself it’s to keep her pack connection to Jacob and Seth going. But, truly, she doesn’t know why she continues to phase. Other than providing some stress relief.

About three years after moving to Seattle Leah’s at the coffee shop on her day off, working on a paper for one of her classes. Next thing she knows, some “idiot” (her words) spills their coffee all over her notes. She’s ready to rip them apart until she looks into the face of the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen. A second ago she was furious, ready to yell at them; now she can’t remember her own name. For a split second she wonders if she’s just imprinted (spoiler: she hasn’t).

Crew Bishop, my OC, apologizes profusely and they get to chatting. He offers to buy her a coffee as a way to apologize, she allows it (she doesn’t tell him she works here and gets her coffee for free, naturally), and they really seem to hit it off. Crew is a recent transplant from his hometown of Sheridan, Wyoming. He was raised by a single mom, along with an older sister, after his father abandoned the family when he was five. He moved to Seattle about nine months ago after being left at the altar the year prior and wanted a completely fresh start. One sleepless night he was watching Captain Fantastic and thought it would be a cool place to live. He’s a veterinarian and works at the Seattle Aquarium. He obviously gets along really well with Seth and while Sue loves the fact that her daughter is finally happy, she’s a little weary of him.

Where Leah’s cautious, a homebody, and slightly embittered (although, since moving to Seattle she’s lost some of that), Crew is gregarious, energetic, and vibrant. While he’s had some shitty luck, he tries very hard not to let it get to him. He’s the ray of sunshine to Leah’s dark cloud. They remain friends for a few weeks, doing things with mutual friends or simply just hanging out together, they “officially” start dating about six weeks after they meet. After a year, they move in together.

They get married a year after moving in together (those details haven’t really been finalized yet but it’s probably a small “no frills” ceremony with immediate family and a few friends) and end up having two kids about five years after meeting. The pregnancy was a complete surprise to Leah; because of her phasing she was never sure if it would be an option. Which, pretty soon after they “officially” started dating she told Crew everything: her “family history,” her phasing, and  whether or not she’d be able to have kids. She wanted to know whether that would be a “deal-breaker” for Crew. Which, obviously, it wasn’t.

So, yeah. That’s my lovely little Twilight OC. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading all my rambles. Hopefully you enjoyed it.

so my kier and dev designs r actually nether imps!! imps being a lesser kind of demon. kier is from a species of imps called crimson forest imp, and likewise dev is a warped forest imp. I have a lot of notes on the two subspecies of imps and their culture that i will probably have to keep to a different post as it's A Lot (can you tell im so autistic over this.)

boosfer.. you may think hes an angel or hails from the end but its actually a lot more complicated than that! no one really knows where hes from and hes technically considered a shapeshifter and can honestly take whatever form he wants (therefore making any design he is drawn as considered canon!) hes probably some kind of demi god honestly. trickster god type beat

jack and baablu are both enderian! jack being a warped forest enderman (subspecies of enderman that live in warped forests. if that wasnt obvious) and baablu... im not so sure. i know i want him to be from the end but not an enderman. possibly some kind of enderman off shoot like jack ? or rare mutation ? idk. regardless. guys from the end!

bubbo and qndres are both what one may consider "enchanted" individuals. in bubbo's case moreso a curse? depends on how you look at it. he was once a human player who was enchanted in some way to become a slime! but since he is enchanted he has special properties like enhancing potion effects when he drinks them :)

as for qndres, he was never human but there was a time where he was not sentient. a very long time ago he was a stone gargolye enchanted to come to life. he can enter a state of hibernation that lasts hundreds of years and will usually embed himself in a wall or sit in a cave when he does, reverting back to a solid stone. he actually met the rest of the color crew when they were doing a manhunt and found his sleeping form carved into the wall of a spawner dungeon (and accidentally woke him up)

as for fantst vitjok and yello... they are most simply anthropomorphic creatures. fantst an axolotl, vitjok a moth, and yello a coyote. not much else i can say about them!!

Bowerbirds tend to have favorite colors! I noticed a lot of them really like cobalt blue--flame bowerbirds (from my minimal research) tend to dance more than they collect, but Mr S for sure collects fun little things :^) he really likes cobalt blue things but he doesn't feel too confident in how he looks wearing that color, so he surrounds himself by green instead. Buuuuut he's starting up a blue collection somewhere in his mansion...

Hi , So listened to the album and holy shit🔥 he really came through with those vocals in each song . Would you be doing a song by song review of the album .? Interested in listening what you think .

he SOO DID!! i had been awake way too long yesterday and was just in disbelief over how good it is, but i had it on in the car while i was running errands today, and wow!! thank u sm for asking, here’s my track by track: 

1. heartbreak weather - i rmr texting my friend last night that it was so dancey, which i stand by!! it’s begging to be screamed and jumped along to in the best possible way. i think it’s a perfect introduction to the album as a whole, too; you have the sad undercurrent in the chorus of, ‘all of my life, it was heartbreak weather’ (which is SO sad when u think about it), tempered by the upbeat, uptempo sound. and i love the way that it sets the stage for the rest of the album by invoking the imagery of not just weather but this lonely city, which he really continues to inhabit for the rest of the album! 

2. black and white - perfect wedding song. you can just picture the glee kids covering it while the wedding party dances down the aisle, which is a compliment - you want these moments to be happy! i love how it retains the hopefulness and simplicity of youth in a way that’s hard to capture sometimes without quite becoming schlocky. ‘it’s the way you love, i’ve got to give it back to you’ is all the more startling for how prescient it is in that context! he’s got some GREAT turns of phrase on this album

3. dear patience - when this one started, i was prepared to dislike it because niall’s ballads tend to not quite be to my taste, but then he has that line about how ‘just me and the stars can get lonely,’ which is the BEST subtle tilt of the head to niall’s particular position as a celebrity, you know? it may not have been written with that interpretation in mind, but it’s got a particular achiness that i love. and the vocal duplication or echo that kicks in on the chorus combined with the bridge’s driving rhythm and that spiraling, hopeless cry - oh, it’s excellent. not to mention the strings are gonna KILL live

4. bend the rules - when he started singing in this one, i literally had to stop and wait for dani to catch up to me: that is a bruce impression if ever i’ve heard one! this one feels a bit more like a concept song than the others, like he’s still sort of trying to dial in on what he’s getting at with this very specific feeling of jealousy and mistrust and the fear of vulnerability it invokes. if he plays it live, i think it’ll become quite the showstopper. it’s hugely appealing to the part of me that loves and loves story songs

5. small talk - i lOVE this trend stranger things started of those highly distorted synths generating this sense of unease (’i’m paralyzed’), and how the song slowly unfolds into a foot-stomping barnburner of a song! i used to have this thing about hating when great singers talk-sing because it’s such a waste of talent, and i still do, but the sheer FUN of singing this song back to him at niall’s concerts like a bunch of horny witches casting a spell is going to be SO GREAT. i know it’s ‘slow hands’ big sister, but this song also has some of ‘on the loose’s’ tremendous punch as a vignette. this song would’ve made an amazing single; i can’t wait to sing it in the car

6. nice to meet ya - this is where, to me, the overarching storyline in the track listing really gains ground and gets going! it stands in such an excellent contrast to ‘small talk,’ too, where both are sort of hookup songs, but where ‘small talk’ is about that tete a tete, ntmy is starting to touch on that idea of conceptualizing and mythologizing someone the way you do at first blush. 

7. put a little love on me - my sincerest apologies to niall, but easily my least fav track on the album. his ballads just aren’t my favorite thing! it is a massive step up from ‘flicker’ to me, though, i love the way it dials in on that peculiar moment where the relationship’s over but you’re not so separated that you can’t still imagine what the other person might be doing, and what exactly do you do with all that knowing someone? it is awfully hard to let go. this song strikes me as a really terrific retrospective even as you start to move forward

8. arms of a stranger - not one of my favorites, tbh! i think it’s lyrical ground we’ve already kind of covered and it’s not the most innovative of his musical arrangements, but i still would not go so far as to call it bad. i do love that instead of accusing the other person of moving on too fast, he turns it on himself; ‘now i’m lying in the arms of a stranger.’ 

9. everywhere - i thought this song was gonna be one thing based on the first few seconds, and then it turns on its heel and becomes something quite different, with more of that chanting + slap-kick percussion. it reminds me forcefully of taylor swift’s ‘holy ground,’ which can only ever be a compliment! i love how he’s using different vocal modes in this album to capture different moods; he’s got that almost monotonous chanting to explain the motionless and airlinessness he’s feeling, and it works! he’s definitely gonna want to play this one acoustic at some point

10. cross your mind - the return of his bruce voice!! i love the imagery of immersing yourself in the world of your relationship with someone else. the driving vocals and drums are such a great underline to the lyrics, like he’s trying to provoke someone, finally ready to hear the truth. he’s definitely put a lot of work into his lyric-writing, too, u know? these songs are on the whole just so much wordier than the last album, which is a huge compliment to how far he’s come! i think there’s a really cool bit of both courage and self-destruction in that ‘don’t hold back’ refrain; those things do keep close company sometimes! and his falsetto in this one is just absolutely perfectly placed in my opinion

11. new angel - i lOVE this one in counterpoint to cross your mind - needing someone else ‘to save me from myself’ is a great emotional tether to draw on them between them, and u know, i do think it risks putting a new relationship on a pedestal, but i think the emphasis is more on admitting fault and vulnerability, neither of which is easy! it’s a deceptively complicated song. not to mention jake is gonna fuck up those guitar bits when the fellas play it live!! 

12. no judgement - fun and funky easy listening gold. as singles go, i think ntmy is a little punchier, but i love the lyrics, and i think the offer of absolution is very sweet, very generous. 

13. san francisco - i LOVE this song. in fact, it might be my favorite! i just love the way the ‘take me back, take me back’ refrain works in two ways: take me back to the past, and as a plea to be taken back by someone else! it’s got everything you need for a perfect love song: imperfection (’wish i hadn’t been so cruel’), romanticism (’what we had would never last, but i can’t let go’), the dramatic rainy love confession that doubles as the goal of all stories, which is self-knowledge (’i’m done running from the one that i want so bad’), all nestled in an inexorable groove. 

14. still - sometimes i love the sound of fingertips dragging over guitar strings and sometimes i hate it, and in this case, i lOVE it; it just wonderfully mimics the sound of pen dragging across paper, which is what i think this is, a bit - a goodbye letter. there’s this john donne line about ‘gold to airy thinness beat,’ which is the first and only thing i could think of when i heard how niall chose to sing this one, just on the edge of untenably high and hurting down to the bone. vulnerability is hard to capture and it’s hard to be honest on a pop record, but i think niall manages both beautifully.
