Well, this is a first.

Honestly despite my feelings about how the last arc of MHA went down I really love Deku and his story.

I just feel like a lot of the time we get these protagonists whose whole philosophy is it doesn’t matter what you were born as everyone can achieve greatness. But then the series goes on and it turns out that actually it DOES matter because the protagonist has this really great lineage and these really great powers you can only have through birth they were actually born born, predestined if you will, to do this.

But MHA actually sticks to its guns. Midoriya wasn’t revealed to have some great connection to all might that the universe had put in place. He wasn’t defended from some great lineage that makes him uniquely suited to this. Hell All for one didn’t even turn out to be his father, there was no hidden powerful quirk he was always meant to have. He was just Midoriya Izuku a boy who was in the right place at the right time and simply decided to act while the world did nothing. And that’s what really made him a hero.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I believe him a bit more when he goes anybody can be a hero if you just decide to act

Trying to make sense of WOF tribes: Rainwings

Dropped from a burning plane in the middle of hostile land, running for days with barely any food. Getting captured, dragged through a broken apart city with his brothers in arms. Watching them all be beaten and shot, killed in a flurry of rage and grief by simple german citizens. Getting beaten bloody himself, thrown on a cart with the rest of those he travelled with to be buried in a mass grave. Escaping by a hair, only to be captured again and thrown in a musky cell with scratched out walls. Being interrogated and having to hold himself together at the idea of Gale being dead, and a simple German interrogator withholding the information of his safety from the tortured man.

Eventually being dragged to Stalag |||, already the shell of the man he once was.

Simple words, a simple call. One he would have been so familiar with, especially from that voice. And yet, as he walked through the gates into the stalag he had never felt happier hearing them

“John Egan! Your two o’clock”

Etched on the inside of his eyelids was those words, Bucks expression, the feeling of his warm embrace in the cabin afterwards. In that moment, Bucky couldn’t have; wouldn’t have felt any better.

In moments alone, he would remind Gale of the moment. ‘Best moment of my life’ he would say, even after they had settled into eachothers embrace properly; firmly.

To Bucky, Gale meant the whole world. That day, seeing his friends? Wonderful. But the moment he heard the familiar husk and western drawl; the moment he turned to meet the familiar blue eyes that often haunted his dreams he knew he would never feel better.

He fell after that, but he fell because he knew his Buck was there to catch him, to stifle his fall. The entire time they were pulled apart from each other Bucky had to hold himself together with the fragile memories of fleeting moments spent together in the dead of night. Secrets whispered to each other in their barracks.

Bucky was a shell, held together by tape weaved by the careful hands of Gale W. Cleven, the tape proved fragile when touched by those same hands but to be fixed, and restored sometimes you must break wholly and entirely in order to return to what you once were, even if it’s a mere reflection of it.

There was countless things against the men; laws, war, distance, jobs, a fence put up by senseless Germans, and yet Bucky knew he would push through anything in order to even have a chance to ask if he could hold Gale the way he held countless women

hi! i don't know if it has been answered already but what would be the order of the fairies from faster to slower? so obviously we all know Leo is the fastest, and Donnie would probably be the slowest due to the weight of his brace and learning to fly later than everyone, but who would be the slowest between Raph and Mikey??

you're correct about Leo being the fastest and Donnie being the slowest, definitely. between raph and mikey... I think Mikey would be slower?

Mikey and Raph have very similar wing-to-body proportions, so weight wouldn't be a factor. beyond that it kinda comes down to practice, and since Raph is really the only brother who does any kind of training, he'd probably end up being the fastest! even before Mikey loses his job, he wasn't really doing anything highly-stressful like Raph was, so I can see his speed suffering a little when it comes to, like, long-term flights.

however! while Raph is faster in general, Mikey is definitely a lot better with maneuverability! he spends more time with Leo, after all :) and I think Mikey would also be faster when it comes to acceleration/quick sprint-flights.

tldr: Raph has better stamina and can go really fast for long distances, but Mikey a little faster when it comes to quick bursts of movement and/or maneuverability! he slows down really quickly tho lmao

horror being very specific with table manners and he berates people (dust and killer) for eating like fucking pigs

i think it'd be morbidly funny that because there was no food in horrortale but the cutlery and stuff was all there that maybe he would pretend to eat with no food on the plate. it was in a satirical way that he would joke maybe around horror paps or alone where he would pretend to eat and have really good table manners but then the satire joke became REAL and now horror is incredibly specific about how to eat food

you MUST hold the fork in the left and knife in right says horror. no killer you can't duel wield the fucking knives this is a table not a slaughterhouse. dust pick up your elbows off the table. actually how about you get your entire upper body off the table tf why are you SLEEPING ON THE FOOD??? killer's sitting fetal position in the chair because of course he wouldn't sit normally like the idiot he is. dust is forced to put his hood down and reveal his face no more mysterious shadow style because it puts horror at ease. they cannot have a single peaceful meal because once they get past the table manners phase it then becomes a completion to see who can eat the least (because they suck at everything including eating)

Hi I hate to be cheesy but I wanted to say that while a lot of people - very rightly!!! - point out how cool your art is and how inspirational it is that you showed art can be learned, not just a rare natural born talent, I also LOVE your sense of humor.
