I loved the idea of Rumble and Frenzy being similar to tfa Soundwave's toy form. But with more expression options. They're so small compared to my OC Smokestack. They fit in his cab.

I understand the whole who is who debate, but I went with Rumble is Blue and Frenzy is Red, because that's how it was in the English G1 show and it feels right to me. K? K. Either way, they're both idiots and I love them.

Then I added Blaster cuz I can. I didn't want him to have an alt too similar to tfa Soundwave, so I made him a news van. Funny enough, I wasn't aware he was a news reporter in one of the various iterations until I skimmed over his wiki later. He likes rock n roll.

His cassettes are Rosanna, Flipsides, Steeljaw, and Ramhorn. Currently contemplating a way to include Rewind and Eject that doesn't seem like too much. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to rename Rosanna to Rewind for streamlining purposes. Then Eject can either be renamed to Playback because I like that name better, or Bolts because Eject and Rewind were originally going to be one bot named Bolts. He likes sports and making sports references.

I find it impossible for Optimus to be more than a million years old in this canon. In the least, he's older than 1000 years and since we have mfs that are canonically over 70 million years old(fagatron iykyk) compared to that, he feels like a dude in his early-to-mid-30's being the group parent.

MARAUDER LOCKDOWN

... Tbh he is more of a "vagrant" but that sounds too low for his reputation IMEAN--

I'm both excited and nervous to show at last a proper reference for my own interpretation of this character 💚 I think it's not a surprise anyway for the ones that know me and my love for him ksdjhfjdsfh

I wanted to do it too so I can work comfortably on my HCs that edge in very OOC territory from the canon (and even some fanon)... and because I admit I have been enjoying sharing short stories and RPs with people again ✨ and activity I missed a lot!

And of course, this interpretation got its own whole backstory that differs from the canon and follows my HCs and concepts around his species, but I'll talk about that in another post (or if someone is curious enough to ask for it coff).

For now! Have more initial sketches from when I was developing him (this is since... 2022 gosh).

First: a time ago I used him for an old (discontinued) post-apocalyptic AU with designs inspired by hunting-scavenging clothing. A friend said he looked like Robin Hood x'D

... I almost didn't change the way I sketch digitally. Anyways. To not let this rot, you can notice I used many design cues from this one!

Then during half of the past year, I did studies of his ROTF toy because I liked how that one kept the weird silhouette of the TFA but aligned to the IDW design too!

And from there I chipped away traits and straightened others until it felt right to me.

BONUS one of the first and fastest sketches I did for him during a conversation with @goobygnarp x'D Thanks to this I not only got the courage to finish the reference but to understand WHAT design cues I wanted to keep and didn't give me too of a headache.

TFA Bumblebee X Reader (General NSFW)

He’s an eager guy. I mean, VERY eager.

Read horny magazines with him, preferably in private, unless you want Optimus to yell at the two of you. 

Bumblebee’s a fairly horny bot, and he cannot wait to finally bang his human partner, especially after what he finds online. 

But you MUST remind him that porn is NOT a realistic depiction of sex.

He’s a small Autobot, so you can take him the way he is. No mass-displacement involved!

However, although his excitement is valid, you have to tell him to slow down, especially when it comes to penetration. He can get carried away at times. But if he ever hurts you, or even comes close to it, he definitely dials himself back down. Harming you is the last thing on his processor. He wants you to enjoy it as much as he does!

Bumblebee enjoys using his spike on you, but his valve is SUPER sensitive. A good lick on his node will have him trembling and whining for your touch. 

He is a big fan of sex toys, but he likes to dabble in what he has as well, most notably using some little sparks from his stingers. 

Bumblebee talks big, but his game is questionable. He can be a tease, but one right word or touch from his lover will make him putty in your hands. 

He's a cuddle-bug afterwards. Loves the spooning!

The latest TFA broodmare ship thing made me remember a headcanon me and some friends used to have that Sentinel, Optimus, and Elita-1 were a casual throuple. Elita had the biggest spike out of them and she'd bully the other two with it all the time; between her third leg and the toys she'd homebrew to use on the pair, she had her boys well trained at her heel.

Then Arachne 7 happened and ruined it all; Sentinel's too high strung because no one slams him through overloads like how Elita-1 did and Optimus doesn't have her loving aftercare anymore.

(Also they miss each other two but it's too damn hard to admit it)

mhmm yes I do believe in the Sentinel/Elita/Optimus throuple. Elita could always put her boys back in their place with her massive spike.... The reason Sentinel acts out so much nowadays is because there's no huge spike fucking his valve until he's a squirting, squealing mess every single night...

Optimus gets horny just thinking about Elita. Seeing Blackarachnia ignites his libido like nothing else.

THOUGHTS ON PROWL......

overall i like prowl! tfa prowl was the first depiction of the character i saw as a kid, so i think he will always be dear to me :,D plus his voice is one of my favourites ,, looking back now tfa prowl's stoic sweetheart type deal is so refreshing to see compared to like everything else.,., g1 prowl is funny as the clearly token police car toy in a line of car toys, cyberverse prowl seemed like just a nice guy and i honestly wish he had gotten more screentime, and i'm afraid i haven't seen energon, RID, or the aligned novels, so i can't say anything about those versions of powl

tldr prowl is one of those characters that i'd love to put into a little jar and rattle around, more rambles below

i think idw prowl especially is so fascinating as a character, and since he's a constant throughout like the whole comic run, i find it fun to go through and see how he changes over time from stick-up-ass-cop to.like. universally scorned manipulative bastard + the most unfortunate man alive to where it just gets kind of tragically funny by the time of unicron.???, he has the air of having had at least 7 exes but he's never been in a relationship at any certain point in time, it's like he hops straight to divorced

i know i always write tags about him on here as my favourite worst guy ,, which is true, but.thinking about his motivations and how he essentially played badcop/goodcop with optimus for millions of years, wanted the same thing but prioritized his idea of "the greater good" over optimus' generally consistent huge amounts of hero protagonist-type emotion + care for individual lives,, unable to understand peoples' clinging to baseless sentimentality when the numbers are right there and we are at war, like ahrhggdhg i call soundwave a soggy cat but prowl is more like a pissed-off bird of prey tangled in clotheslines to me.somehow. i don't think he's right to manipulate the lives of the people around him the way that he does, but i can understand how he's willing to do whatever it takes for the highest chance of success in this never-ending war, and i think it's much juicier story-wise to include this type of character to challenge a hero like optimus who constantly is seen as the morally righteous, idealistic leader

First thing to know is we use the tag maccadam. This practice dates back to when the live action movies would flood the Transformers tag with actor pics. Maccadam is where you will find the robots. It is a reference to Maccadam's Old Oil House. A bar found in some continuities. You can still use the Transformers tag

Now you don't have to watch more Transfomers to be a fan. If you loved the movie you're already a fan. You don't have to ever watch another thing and you are still a fan and welcome here. But I'm betting you want to see more Transfomers. Here are some other continuities and where to find them. This is not an extensive list. This is a starter pack.

The Transformers (1984) AKA Generation 1 AKA G1. The original that started it all. Dubious 80s animation and some of the greatest voice actors of all time. Available on Tubi for free.

Beast Wars AKA TFBW. If G1 started everything Beast Wars is what kept it from dying out. Absolutely bleeding edge computer animation in the 90s. It's, uh, very dated, but the story and voice acting still hold up and I recommend giving it a chance. Available on Tubi for free.

Transformers Animated AKA TFA (yes we fought the Star Wars folks over that tag) Debuted the same year as the first Live Action Movie. It is very anime influenced and shows a very different side to our favorite characters. One of the more popular shows in the fandom. Available on Tubi for free. Also on Pluto

Transformers Prime AKA TFP AKA Prime. Another very popular show with the fandom. Part of the Aligned continuity which featured books, games, and other shows. This is probably closest to Transformers One in characterization and I would recommend making this your next watch if you can. The First season is on Netflix with the rest available on Tubi. Yeah I don't know what is up with that.

Rescue Bots AKA TFRB This is a Show for Preschoolers, but don't let that scare you away. It is one of the best Transformers shows. Somehow also part of the Aligned continuity. Season one is on Netflix and it is also available on Pluto

Transformers Cyberverse AKA Cyberverse AKA TFCV. A fun Bumblebee focused show. Very few humans. Season 1 is on Hasbro's YouTube channel, Season 3 (????) is on Netflix, Also on Pluto.

Transformers EarthSpark AKA TFES. The most recent show. Lots of new characters and a new side to Megatron that I love. On Paramount+ and YouTube premium.

Live Action Movies. There are 7 live action movies the first 5 are directed by Micheal Bay and are collectively known as the Bayverse The other two movies Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts, are also sometimes lumped in with Bayverse. It is debated if they are reboots or prequels. Personally Bumblebee is my favorite. They are all available on Paramount+

Comics. Comics have been part of Transformers from the very beginning. First with Marvel and later with other publishers. Marvel Dreamwave and IDW are the best known publishers. IDW is still very popular in fandom. Currently comics are being published by Skybound. Unfortunately finding out of print comics can be very difficult/expensive and I recommend checking TFWIKI for summaries if you can't find them.

This was litteraly my first time seeing Oilslick's first concept art and BRO thank FUCK they changed it (and then changed it again and again 😒they should have just kept the toy design)

But I'm literally bouncing off the walls, they have colour concepts for Prometheus black and that lanky ink sketch of Oilslick is chefs kiss, not to mention the box art of Oilslick that I never got to see because my Oilslick was unboxed 😭😭 I kinda wanna buy a second Oilslick figure just to repaint him in his unreleased concept paint toxic Oilslick. I've actually made it my mission to own asmuch Oilslick stuff that I can get my hands on, nothing will stop me (aside from the financial aspect)

Sorry if this is a very specific ask, but can I request for TFA Swindle with a giant predacon mech reader who's going through heat? Just like headcanons on how Swindle would help them and stuff like that 😅

He'd hate the idea at first, eventually melting into the comfort that, yes, you will clean up his plating afterward, and, yes, you would be gentle enough with him.

You'll have to push his faceplates against a pillow and have him lay on his tanks, or else you run the risk of everyone hearing you (he likes that, though).

Swindle will eventually give in after enough edging or teasing. He'll beg for you to breed him, touch him like shareware or use him as a frag-toy.

He will thank you fall into recharge as soon as you're finished with aftercare.

The next day, Swindle will whine about the cheap job you did on his paint (because your scratch and bite marks are still very, very visible) or how his whole frame aches.

Don't listen to his complaining, though. It's obvious he loves it.

So it’s increasingly clear Hasbro views EarthSpark as old news, as the roll out for the TFONE toys has commenced.

And they look much better than most of the EarthSpark stuff, and look more fun.

The One Steps do use the same old seen over and over for Wheeljack, but the surprise is they went out of the way to retool it to give it a Cybertronian Vehicle Mode.

It’s a step up from ES Breakdown where they didn’t even try.

I like to think this is EarthSpark WildBreak anyway. Now we just need my boys Heatseeker and Slashmark recolored from Bumblebee & Swindle.

Anyhoo the big surprise is Airachnid, and I find it kinda hilarious this design looks like the daughter of Prime Arcee & the original Airachnid. It seems they can’t decide still if Airachnid has both a beast mode and a vehicle mode, as this toy has a spider mode (which I love) but not having a flying mode seems to betray the name AIRachnid. I’m not sure if she’s supposed to be an actual beast like Alpha Trion’s Lion mode or if she is some vaguely spider like camera drone like Shockwave’s more recent spider tank vehicle mode. Still if the next kids cartoon is based on One? Airachnid as one of the main Decepticons, please & thank you.

Another surprise is Sentinel Prime getting a toy, and that he’s a jet on top oh that.

Sentinel Primes tend to be ground based vehicles…

Especially if you include the Sentinel Zeta Primes…

Though the G1-IDW Sentinel has a spaceship mode so it’s not entirely unheard of.

The design for TFONE Sentinel reminds me more of IDW Nominus Prime though…

And Nominus was a snob interested more in doom posting and societal niceties, on top of flying Transformers in modern media being depicted as having superiority complexes over ground based Transformers, this may potentially suggest they basically wrote Nominus Prime but had to make him Sentinel to make Hasbro happy.

The next Sentinel I hope is TFA Sentinel as a triple changer like Octane: fighter jet and Optimus like truck, lol.

The same set of toys Sentinel belongs to includes future Optimus & Megatron.

It’s the battle scars that get me. They went the extra mile on certain details here, though the RiD15 fan in me thinks Steeljaw scratched him. Maybe Beast Mode Alpha Trion swiped him before dying.

The more unique toy is this Optimus one.

Sort of a spiritual successor to the earlier Evolution toys in WFC, where Orion and Hot Rod transform and combine with their trailers to become Optimus and Rodimus, this is a four changing toy. That’s pretty rare! And it’s kinda like Punch/Counterpunch too, which amuses me.

The main gimmick is Orion being flipped around to evolve into Optimus and evolve further into a sort of Super Mode. And it looks better than previous attempts like the Energon Bra Armor CV Optimus. Those Energon Bra toys clogged my local Ollie’s for awhile, ugh. Still this actually looks kinda cool and appealing to kids, which is more than can be said about the entirety of Cyberverse & EarthSpark. The prices remain the sticking point despite being far better toys however… So toy sales might not be that great because of prices… G3 Bakugan is tanking but kids are still getting the toys because they’re affordable compared to the mostly shelf warming EarthSpark and RotB toys. Hasbro comes off as having more confidence in One though, and it shows because these feel like the toys the Terrans should have, so we’ll see if that pays off.

S oh my god I’m going bananas

So I’m mainly thinking about TFA Seb who has made it his mission in life to make Chris go crazy. Drawn out, narrowed eyed looks, obscene lips curled for a second too long around the head of a beer bottle, innuendos and dirty jokes all made to make the night last forever.

They’re not even dating! But Seb knows that Chris likes him, and he also knows that Chris is too scared to make the first move. So he makes it absolutely fucking unbearable. It all comes to a point when they realize that it’s easier for Chris to just stay at Sebastian’s rather than take the hour’s drive home. So when Chris asks if Sebastian has any pajamas he can borrow, Sebastian just looks at him with a smirk.

“I don’t usually wear them, so no.”

“Well, what so you sleep in?” He asks, confused.

“Chanel No. 5.” Seb says, a fucking evil smile on his face.

Chris might seriously pass out.

“Unless I’ve got someone over. Then I usually get… preoccupied…” Sebastian continues, and Chris can feel his blood pressure hit the ceiling. It gets worse when Sebastian narrows his eyes and his grin gets bigger.

“You okay, Chris? You’ve gone a bit red…” His voice is innocent and sweet like honey, and Chris isn’t sure this is real.

“Y-Yeah, I’m fine.” His stutter gives him away immediately, and Sebastian giggles.

“You sure?” He asks, getting up from the chair and sitting down next to him. Chris can’t fucking breathe. He just nods. Sebastian puts a hand over his forehead like he’s checking if Chris is sick. They both know he’s not.

“You feel a bit hot… D’you want something to help you cool down?”

This time, there’s no response. Chris is pretty sure his brain has just shut off at this point.

“Oh, I know.” Sebastian gasps, like he hasn’t been teasing Chris for hours now. “You’re flustered, aren’t you?” Sebastian’s eyes are dancing with mischief, and Chris is so lost in them he can only nod.

“Poor boy. You’re all riled up, and you just want someone to help.” It’s not a question. In a split second, Sebastian is straddling Chris’s lap, his arms wrapped around his neck.

“You’re just needy, aren’t you, sweetheart?” He tilts his head, and Chris can see something black beneath his shirt. Sebastian notices his confusion and giggles again.

“You see something? Yeah, honey. I wore something special for you. Wanna see it?” Chris nods dumbly, because his mouth can’t do anything but wonder how Sebastian’s skin would feel under it.

Chris is fucking floored by what he sees when Sebastian pulls off his shirt. Pretty, delicate black lace sits cupping his chest, and Chris can see more peeking out from under his jeans.

“You like what you see?” Sebastian taunts, but is cut off because Chris finally finds his brain. He kisses Sebastian breathless, hands tight on his waist.

“Fuck yeah I do.”

People are claiming that kids groaned at the Earthspark trailer (therefore "kids don't want ES") during the 40th Anni Transformers Event but imo even if that's true I still doubt it? Kids go NUTS over different variations of their fave things. see: Live Action Transformers, or like multimedia franchises like Marvel or Sonic!

But even so, people saying "not even kids enjoy Earthspark" is wrong unless you personally surveyed every child. There were young teens (or pre teens?) at my local 40th Anni Screening who lost it at the Earthspark sneak peek.

Not always, but people who tend to dislike Earthspark dislike it because it's "#woke", or they're a genwunners/tfp-fanatic. I haven't seen TFP, but the way people obsess over it as if it's the only good Transformers show makes me want to avoid it until the very end.

And sure Earthspark has flaws, but that doesn't make it a failure in writing. Everything that exists has a flaw. Your favourite cartoon, Transformers or not, has flaws. G1, Beast Wars, TFA are all highly regarded cartoons that have incredible flaws and issues that frustrate me. But they're not overall terrible shows, unless you solely focus on the flaws.

IMO, Earthspark being a Paramount/Nick show severely affected it. Nick only cares about SpongeBob now. And the "10 episodes in batches every few months" affects the show. A weekly show would've been so much better! One of our free tv channels here only has a batch of S1 Earthspark, but they screen those on a regular basis, much preferable!

And god I DO wanna blame Hasbro, and I sorta do. But toys are bought always. Yeah the quality could be better but that's a sad reality of production these days. I don't know how well the distribution was in other places, but I live in a small city in Australia. We only have some of the smaller toys and Megatron + Twitch + Bee combo. I've never ever seen Nightshade. Can someone please send me a Nightshade? (Yet again we still got loads of Cyberverse Starscreams here... Maybe I'm just in a weird spot).

Actually yeah I'll blame Hasbro too cos they rehashed older toys when we wanted some screen accurate Seekers, but the whole Paramount thing was stupid. Anyway if Earthspark /is/ cancelled after Season 2, I'll be extremely upset. I love this show dearly. There's heart (spark?) in it. And what's worse is that if it is cancelled, the haters will be like "HA! I TOLD YOU SO. WE DONT NEED KIDDIE WOKE MEDIA, WE NEED SKYBOUND QUALITY CARTOONS OR TFP AGAIN" like shut up? Transformers is initially for kids to sell toys? Shut up?

Imagine the robots in tfa like the tutor bot getting misplaced and ending up on the lost light. Just lil guy is lost and needing to find his way back but can't, he's wondering around untill megatron, ultra magnus or rodimus finds him. They can just treat him as a pet or like a little toy.

Now I'm finally unpacked, my two actual best purchases of TFN: two TFA toys that have been on my list for years. Activator Skywarp, a 'lottery' toy from Takara, and Collectors Club TFA Jackpot. I love themmm.

Decided to make my own version of Astrotrain heheeee. This is still in concept stages, but I basically combined elements of his G1 design with this toy train that I had since I was like 4 maybe. Like TFA Blitzwing, buddys face changes to this cartoony skull face bc I thought that would be cute. Might add la lil dome around his face because the fact that Astrotrain also changes into a space shuttle slipped my silly fucking mind oops— I am very down for suggestions bc I do love him but I feel like the design could be done better. I love his stupid ass elephant pedes but I feel like the wings could be more pointy. And more spacecraft themes too. will absolutely yap about my version of him more if anyone is ready for that!!
