Swindle’s pet reader getting yoinked by the Autobots and he wasn’t able to subspace them/hide them in time. If its Optimus team they’re expecting reader to be relieved at being freed and excited to go back to regular life. Except uh, reader is not in fact happy because Swindle their owner and they like *that*. They didn’t need to worry about getting home because swindle, aside from having space for them on his ship, ALSO takes care of their living on Earth too. Definitely gets angry if anyone tries to touch the collar around their neck.

Its an odd situation, but don’t worry, that little collar is more than just for show! Its also a tracking device lol, a good salesman always has to know where he is wares are after all! (even though reader has definitely become much more than that. Much much more than that.) and eventually when reader is able to slip out of the bots hands Swindle very quickly is able to scoop his little pet back up. And maybe consider some new ways to prevent this from happening again.

THE SAGA CONTINUES Swindle's going to be much more cautious with his pet from now on. Yeah, the Autobots yanked it away, but the Decepticons could do the same if push comes to shove. He's ready to prepare himself for just about anything because this is not a loss he can take. He's quick to praise his pet for keeping the bots away from the collar. Is he concerned enough to spike them now that they made it out fine? Yep - he's happy to reward them for doing such a good job

Can we get some TFA Swinbee headcanons?

I noticed this ask so late, sorry !

I'll be honest, I'm not too clever when it comes to headcanons 💔

but if I had to really try and think of something, then I imagine Swindle would go out of his way to get Bumblebee precious gifts; he keeps mental notes of the small autobot's interests, and somehow always finds a way to get him exactly what he wants (ESPECIALLY limited-edition items that Bee mentioned he wished he could own at some point)

he says he does it out of the goodness of his own spark, but he'll always ask for a little something in return, no matter what (it would otherwise greatly hurt his image as a respectable business man, after all !)

he tries to not ask for favors that are too big and difficult to achieve, though; stuff like outright betraying the autobots or snitching important info is a no-go, and something they've probably argued about in the past (even if it had probably been mentioned as a joke)

Hollering at the idea of the bots just kind of realizing that it’s very likely Swindle of all bots is getting into some kinky sex with a human. Like the fancy collar? The clear protectiveness of said fancy collar? The fact that reader probably almost called Swindle “Master” (or some other nickname lol) in front of them? Optimus is kind of like, “Well we can probably assume…but that doesn’t mean it’s true?” Bumblebee’s being immature about it (mostly because it’s easier to do that than grappling with his curiosity of what it would be like to be with a human), Bulkhead is also probably thinking about what it would be like to have a cute human partner, Prowl is pointing out the possibility that reader may be a pet in the literal sense, and Ratchet? Ratchet knows their fucking. Not a doubt in his mind. He just hopes for that human’s sake they aren’t being stupid.

Honestly this might be a really funny way to open up the team to thinking more about dating humans lol, and also getting kinky with them. Can’t tell me Bulkhead isn’t thinking about being the one wearing a collar after seeing reader’s.

Screaming at the thought of these guys having a breakdown over this. Ratchet knows his shit and is not happy about it. Just tries not to think of how messed up the situation is Prowl is out here trying to be practical because Bumblebee started the whole "Swindle frags his pet human" theory and he stubbornly refuses to acknowledge the possibility (as Bumblebee cackles behind him at the thought of a Decepticon being with a human). Optimus is clearly flustered by this bullshittery because he handled the human the most. He can't help but wonder how things would have changed if they actually managed to get the collar off of the human. (Prowl or Ratchet could have snatched it but none of them realized its true purpose until it was too late) Bulkhead is out here daydreaming about how cute humans are. And well, if a Decepticon can be with a human, then why can't him? (he's shy)
