Snart Jr.
Lovely prompt by @stealingyourbones in her long prompts list, in which Danny Phantom meets the Rogues of Central City! This will have multiple parts, I just haven't written them yet.
Disclaimer: I know very little about Captain Cold and Mirror Master despite having watched some of the Flash. The general vibe I get from Flash is that Flash just really cares about his rogues as evidenced by how he talks to them and doesn't immediately one-shot them like I'm pretty sure he could do. And that Captain Cold is a snarky asshole that just wants to steal things and follow his plans as planned? Tbh, the whole mini-arc/episode with him just felt like Snart was trying to coordinate the world's riskiest group project. He was so done by the end lmao
"Huh. That's new."
Danny hovered an inch off of the ground, having just been spat out by swirling green portal. He was going to have to get back to the Zone later to hot potato Skulker through a couple of portals in revenge. He had a math exam he had to study for, dammit.
Danny sighed. Might as well see what's happening. The portals rarely lead somewhere boring, and Danny was bored. He floated further in, form going intangible and invisible as he passed through thick but insulated marble walls. See, Jazz? He could totally plan ahead. He's also learning that he could probably rob a bank easily, but Danny would never.
"Never been spat out in a bank before," he hummed, eyes flickering on the numerous forms of cowering people in the lobby. The goons scattered about don't see him, but it would take another ghost to even detect his presence so it was to be expected. He moved further in with little hindrance and soon touched down onto polished floor behind two incredibly suspicious individuals.
"What-cha do-ing?"
The two figures, currently and obviously robbing a bank, whirled around in surprise. Their respective weapons whirred to a start before they stopped, baffled by the meta teen standing there with his white hair waving about and innocent look pasted all over his face.
Leonard Snart knew instinctively that the kid was so full of shit. He'd bet his entire plan on the fact that the kid knew exactly what kind of shit he was stirring. Still, Snart was guilty of a lot of things but direct child-endangerment wasn't ever one of them.
"How'd you get in here, kid?" Mirror Master raised his laser pistol, ready to distract and divert the kid with threats of violence- which Snart glared at him for- or with his hall of mirrors that he'd run to.
Danny shrugged. "I walked. If you guys didn't want me here, you should have guarded the place better."
"They were supposed to," Snart drawled. He cased the kid. Teen. The kid had a weird halo effect, that seemed to draw the eyes to the stylized letter on his hazmat suit. The kid was young. Meta. Non-hostile. "You trying to stop us?"
Danny shook his head. "Nah. Came from the Ghost Zone so 's really non'a my business. I was just being nosy."
Snart gave a curt nod and nudged Mirror Master back into cracking the security measures.
Mirror Master scoffed. "What the hell is a ghost zone?"
"I mean, it's pretty self explanatory, right? It's a zone where ghosts live. Hence, you know, Ghost Zone." Danny did a little jazz hands (oh, yeah, he was definitely gonna get Jazz to make that joke sooner or later) for emphasis.
Snart paused for the slightest bit before continuing with his task. Did ghosts exist?
"...Did the Flash send you here, kid?"
"I'm not a kid," Danny scowled, walking right up to them. He got enough of that from his own Rogues, thank you. "And what's a Flash?"
"The Flash, kid." Mirror Master corrected, shoving monitors and PC's and expensive looking office chairs into... a mirror dimension? Danny shrugged and rolled with it.
"Who's that? Your boss?"
"Local superhero, not our boss. You're not from here," Snart quickly deduced as a small smile wormed onto his face from successfully cracking the security without setting off an alarm. They'd have ten minutes before the system cycles the access codes again and flags the fraudulent ones. That should be enough time.
"Superhero? Are they fast? Actually, where is here?" Danny glanced around at the now bare security office like the Flash would show up.
The guy in green and yellow took everything not nailed down to the ground. Danny respected that, even if he kind of wanted to stop the robbery. But he's not really supposed to interfere. That would be uber rude, since it looked like the guy in the fur jacket seemed like he had planned everything precisely.
"You're in Central City, kid. Did you take a wrong turn trying to get to Keystone or something?" Green-yellow guy snorted.
"Gonna be real honest with you, I've got no idea where that is. What state are we in?" Danny followed as the pair rushed to the safe doors. He could offer to phase them through but no matter how flexible Danny's morals have become over the years, he was going to draw a line at actively helping a person commit crime.
"Kansas. Do you teleport? Are you a teleporting meta?" Snart asked, eyes intense as he both glared at Danny and pressed an ear to the safe door.
"Nah, I wish I could teleport. Getting to school would be so much faster. Kansas? Huh, I've never been."
"How lost are you, kid?" Mirror Master incredulously paused from robbing the packages that were delivered to the bank.
Danny shrugged. "Oh, I'm Danny. Who are you guys?"
"Captain Cold. That's Mirror Master."
Danny shifted as the safe clicks open. "So, uh, are you guys the villains here?"
Captain Cold shot him a weird look. "We're actively robbing a bank, kid. That should be obvious."
"Also, you're acting real calm for a kid speaking to two of Fawcett's best super-villains." Mirror Master chimed in, laser-ing off locks on deposit boxes and shoving cash and stuff into his mirror dimension.
Danny padded in after them. "Eh, you haven't shot at me- not even on sight- yet, which is more than I can say for law enforcement, so you're pretty chill in my book."
Captain Cold snorted, pointedly taking his freeze gun and breaking off a large manual lock. "I believe it's my job to be the chill one. Plus, we don't kill. The Flash would be up our... business if we did. It's not worth the trouble."
"You can say ass. I've heard worse."
"Not from me, kid."
Danny hadn't had that kind of consideration from anyone in a long time. Even if it's a bit... mother-hennish, the halfa couldn't find it in him to be annoyed. "Ah, okay. Well, you also haven't kidnapped me or tried to stop me from following you, so..."
Mirror Master shoved a giant painting into his dimension. "You haven't tried to stop us; it'd be weird trying to stop you."
"Makes sense."
"Heh. You're alright, kid. Though... who's kidnapping you?"
"My fruit loop of a godfather. It's a thing," Danny avoided the searching gaze like a pro.
"Hold this." Captain Cold said suddenly, giving Danny a massive dufflebag.
"Wait, what?"
Captain Cold began stuffing the bag with cash and once the money in the vicinity (not that much) went in, he said "Go look around. Having another person in here is a risk so you might as well make up for it."
Danny's calling it. Captain Cold was full of shit. The guy's a big softie. Danny smiled sheepishly and agreed. Danny circled the place, pointing out expensive looking stuff- "for fun" and not because they were nice to him- when he felt the tell-tale zaps of an anomaly in Clockwork's domain.
"Move!" He shouted at the two villains, both of whom dove out of the way. Instinctively, Danny threw out his gloved hands and iced the floors, instincts bristling at the incoming danger. His jaw dropped as a blur encountered the ice and went ass over tea kettle onto the floor, unable to stop its own momentum.
"Oh shit!" Danny uttered, eyes wide as the blur slammed into the opposite- reinforced- wall with a pained shout. The stopped person was wearing red, with a lighting bolt motif all over their uniforms. That implied speed. Speed implied "The Flash." Danny knew a hero when he saw one and he just iced him. Shit.
"What-" The Flash groaned. Mirror Master and Captain Cold gaped.
"OhmyancientsI'msosorrygottagobye!" Danny shouted.
"Hey, wait, kid-!" Captain Cold shouted. Danny ignored him, going invisible in a panic and sank into the ground, mortified. After thirty seconds of self-hatred, he zoomed out and away. Danny held his head in his hands as he flew back to where Amity was...
Only to stare down at the empty plots of land where his city was supposed to be. Danny shoved a hand into his chest and pulled out his phone.
[No results for Amity Park. Did you mean "Amity Arkham"?]
"What."
Any research he did after that only turned up a Jasmine Fellona, a budding neurobiologist in her field, and other people that were adjacent to the people Danny knew. But nothing, nothing from Amity Park.
"Oh, yeah, we're definitely not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy."
---
As the Flash stood around to keep an eye on the hand-cuffed villains, he couldn't help but ask.
"So, uh, Snart. Did you... get a kid?"
"What." Snart asked, incredibly done with this shit.
"You know. Snart junior? With the ice and everything?" Flash gestured at the un-melting ice that covered the floor leading into the safe. "I mean, I'm not thrilled you're pulling your kid into a life of crime..."
"No."
"Wait, you had a kid and didn't tell me?" Mirror Master asked, mildly offended. "That was your kid? No wonder no one shot at him!"
"He's not my kid." Snart gave Flash the stink-eye. "And don't you have a couple of baby sidekicks running around?"
"C'mon dude, you're so obviously fond of him. It's okay, you don't have to hide it." Flash avoided the topic... in a flash.
"Can someone arrest me right now so these idiots can be removed from my vicinity?" Snart snarked to the approaching officer, jerking his head to point at the beaming Flash.
"You and me both, buddy," Officer West sighed.
---
One trip to the zone and a stressful conversation with Clockwork later, Danny was found in his keep, smacking his ghost head into the ghost wall of his ghost keep. Danny would unleash a Wail if it didn't have the nasty habit of bringing everything around him.
Apparently, he got "Amity'd," a process which meant Amity spat him out like an over chewed dog bone and refused to take him back.
"That doesn't even make sense! I left there a bunch of times! And came back!"
"The city has decided that it was your time to leave, Danny." Clockwork spared a wane smile for the curled up boy-king.
"I have people to protect there! My entire life! My haunt!" Danny yelled, breaths that he didn't technically need coming shorter and shorter. The neon green of the Zone whirled in and out of his vision in a dizzying shudder of anxiety and incoming panic.
"It wasn't your haunt, I'm afraid. The city nurtured you as a young spirit- thus shared her haunt- and has decided that it was time for you to... leave the nest, so to speak."
That stopped Danny's panic in its tracks. "Are you telling me she NightVale-d me? Some kind of involuntary coming-of-age bs?"
If he weren't on the edge of hysterical laughter, Danny would take a moment and proudly say to Mr. Lancer that he had paid attention in class.
"...Yes."
"Fuck." Danny dropped his head down in despair. His head made a loud thunk. The bag of cash he'd accidently made away with sat innocently at his feet. Further proof that it wasn't some nightmare he'd wake up from anytime soon.
---
Danny slumped over the desk, exhausted. Technus had lent him a ghostly hand and hacked into government data bases to re-establish his social security number and all the other dumb bits and bobs that he needed to establish his identity because Amity was an actual ghost town. Ghost to reality, ghost to real life. Ancients, Amity even had their own data network, which he couldn't access outside of Amity itself. This meant that Danny couldn't even call anyone. Ugh.
"I gotta find a place to live," he mumbled to himself. Danny, despite knowing that he needed to do things, did not move for another ten minutes.
Then, as his phone alarm went off, buzzing on the table. Like... Clockwork... Danny sat up straight and wiped all traces of wallowing self pity off his face. The people in the library- students- gave him solemn nods of solidarity. Danny nodded back and left the library.
He wandered around Fawcett City, somewhere Clockwork had recommended he stayed. With Clockwork, recommendations tended to be life-important (plot-important?) orders. Danny liked the place, really. It gave off the weird and settled "what-the-fuck,-Box-Ghost-did-you-have-to-destroy-the-mall?" vibes Amity constantly gave off after the ghosts started coming through. He thought he even saw a talking tiger! Awesome.
"Hey, are you new here?"
Danny looked down. His reflection stared back at him.
Did he have another kid? Did someone clone him again? Ancients curse you, Vlad!
"Uh- yeah."
"Oh. Do you need help getting around? I was born and raised here all my life, so I can totally do that!"
Oh thank the Ancients, this wasn't another Dani. Just a weirdly similar looking kid.
"You know I'm a stranger, right?"
"I don't think anyone helping Nanny Mae pick up her oranges would hurt kids," the kid said archly, but with a grin so like Dani, it made Danny miss his younger sister.
"Okay, you got me there. But still."
The kid sighed. "I know how to be safe, thanks. I'm Billy!"
"Danny. Nice to meet you."
"Okay, Danny, where you off to?"
"I'm actually trying to find a place that'll be cheap to rent." He's sixteen, but Danny could totally pass as eighteen. "I'm thinking about moving to Fawcett. It's nice here, with all the ambient magic and stuff."
This got him a wide-eyed look. "Do you use magic?"
"Something like that."
"Cool."
Danny took in the considering glint in Billy's eyes and decided that it was future!Danny's problem. Present!Danny was currently occupied with trying to stay off the streets. That giant bag of cash he'd accidently absconded with would be helpful and Danny felt kind of bad... but his growling stomach had chased that away quickly.
"This way!"
Danny shrugged his wavering morality off and followed the kid, shouldering his new and stolen duffle bag. If anything happened, he could just go ghost. It wouldn't be the weirdest thing that's happened in this city, Danny made sure to check.
"Have you been by the zoo?" Billy began to rattle off his favorite details about the Fawcett city zoo as he wove around the city.
Danny didn't think he'd actually have to go ghost.
"Not yet, actually. Is it true that there's a talking tiger there?"
"Yeah! Tawky Tawny! He's my friend!"
"Awesome."

“I think I need to sleep for at least 12 hours tonight.” Jake tells his twin, patting his pockets for his wallet to pay the bill. “I’m exhausted.”
“Oh is that why you were being so pissy today?” Josh’s grin is smug as he finds his own wallet first and fishes his card out and tosses it onto the waiting bill before Jake can. “Makes sense.”
Jake’s eyes narrow and you fight a tiny smile, trying not to let your amusement show. Jake can be a little moody when he’s tired. And just… in general.
“I’m the pissy one?” Jake counters, flicking Josh’s card off the bill and placing his own there instead. “I seem to be remembering things a little differently.”
Jake’s tone is snarky – just a tiny bit more accusing than Josh’s had been. You already know that Jake had a… rough day today. He’d told you about it in the car – Josh had been demanding retake after retake and Sam had quote on quote, “disagreed with every fucking thing I said just for the hell of it.” In all honesty, knowing the Kiszkas, it had probably been all three of them being more difficult than necessary while Danny had to play mediator… Not that you’d said that to Jake. God, no. You’d only listened, allowing him to vent; nodded and frowned at the right moments. Clearly, tonight’s meal and a few drinks with Josh had done little to help Jake’s temper.
Josh opens his mouth to retort but you interrupt. “I’m going to run to the restroom.” Both sets of matching eyes flash to you as you speak. Josh grins and Jake nods, sliding out of the booth to allow you to exit.
In addition to his sour mood, Jake has been jittery the whole night. You’d noticed from the moment the two of you stepped into the bar that he had other things on his mind – whether it was a new song or riff or lyrics you couldn’t quite tell. But he was distracted. You know already how common it is that he grows restless, as if there’s so much energy buzzing beneath his skin that he’s hardly able to stand still. At first, it had almost been hard to be around when he got like this. His restlessness so palpable you could practically feel it coating your skin. At first, you would simply move to another room, allow him to sort himself out on his own. But after a little while, it became easier to tune him out – to still navigate around him when he gets like this. His aura has gravity of its own, you’ve come to discover. It’s hard to be apart from him for too long.
He’ll deny it if you ask him if something is wrong. He’ll say he’s fine – that he’s not upset about today anymore and that he’s acting perfectly normal. So you don’t bother asking. Instead, you simply allow his energy to wash over you as you watch him interact with his twin at the booth.
By the time you return, they seem to have momentarily put their little dispute on hold as they both turn to look at you as you approach the booth.
“Are you ready, love?” Jake’s voice is smooth – neutral. Betraying nothing of the chaos that you know lies within. “We paid the bill while you were gone.”
“Halfsies.” Josh supplies and Jake’s eyes cut to him for a moment before landing back on you. You nod, smiling at the two of them as they exit the booth in almost complete unison, each twin now holding himself in the exact same manner as the other as they prepare to leave. “It was nice actually getting to see you.” Josh continues as the three of you walk through the restaurant and to the door. “Jake always keeps you to himself when we’re home.”
Josh is teasing; you can tell by the slight dimple that has appeared on his left cheek as he speaks. But Jake tenses ever so slightly beside his twin as you all come to a stop on the sidewalk outside. The night air is warm – humid enough that it makes your skin feel sticky. The joys of a Tennessee summer.
“He can be just a little selfish, I suppose.” You answer back, thinking nothing of it. But again, that energy around Jake seems to increase, his chocolate eyes flashing in the light spilling out into the air from inside the bar.
“Am I not allowed to miss her when we leave?” Jake queries, slipping a heavy arm around your waist in such a way that it almost feels possessive. “Plus, I’m always stuck with you.” He says to his twin, grinning a little. “Who would blame me for wanting her to myself when we are home?”
Josh’s brow raises, a knowing glance shot towards you before he regards his twin. He senses Jake’s energy – the restlessness; senses that he could easily poke the bear and start a senseless argument that would no doubt descend into an actual fight. But he holds himself back, metaphorically biting his tongue as he gives Jake a little grin.
“Can’t blame you at all, brother. Not at all.” His grin turns a little wicked. “But maybe you should share her more often – she was my friend first, afterall.”
So perhaps he hadn’t decided against poking the bear afterall. You fight the smile that threatens to overtake you, realizing that now might not be the time to pick sides by agreeing with Josh. He had been the one to know you first. He’d been the one to introduce you to Jake, even. But Jake needs no reminder of that little fact right now.
“I see you plenty.” You offer, feeling the pointed squeeze of Jake’s fingers into your hip, “Plus, you constantly blow my phone up with texts. We talk plenty, Joshua.”
Josh grins and shrugs his shoulders, looking pleased anyway.
“Great seeing you.” Jake offers. “But I’m sick of you already.”
Josh laughs, completely unaffected by his brother’s words. He’s used to it. He knows deep down Jake doesn’t mean them… too much.
“Love you too, Jakey.” Josh grins at you – the exact same grin that Jake gave him just a moment ago. “Lovely to see you as always, Y/n. Hopefully someone lets me see you again before we leave.”
“I hope so, too.” You answer him, laughing just a little despite your best efforts.
Josh gives a theatrical sweeping bow before turning on his heel and disappearing to his Jeep, laughing the whole way. Jake scowls and tugs you away towards his own vehicle, that heavy arm still pointedly around your waist.
He opens your door for you, a soft “Princess” leaving his lips as he dips his head a little. You grin and climb into the car and he closes the door behind you.
Jake playing guitar is sinful. But Jake behind the wheel of a car? It’s downright indecent – something that no matter how many times you see it, it still gets you just a little. The thick muscles of his forearm twitch and move beneath his newly tan skin (thank you Europe tour) and the clench of his jaw as he watches the road has you clenching your thighs. To your credit, you only stare a little bit as he drives the two of you back to his house (His house, not yours. Something that once again feels pointed.) Neither of you speak much, the silence between the two of you just as comfortable as idle chit chat. Fleet Foxes flow softly from the speakers, filling the air between the two of you that seems to grow thicker and thicker with each passing moment.
“See something you like?”
You startle, eyes cutting up to see the curve of Jake’s lips as he continues staring out at the road ahead. Apparently you had been staring too much – enough for him to notice, anyway. Cheeks flushing, you shake your head in denial.
“Just thinking.”
His brow raises and it does nothing to quell the heat pooling in your lower belly.  “About?” He urges you on, tilting his head as if to hear you better.  You open your mouth to give a bullshit answer but he interrupts. “And don’t say work or the weather. I already know what you’re thinking.” Your jaw snaps shut. The fucker.
“If you know, then why did you ask?” Your tone comes out a little brattier than you meant it to and Jake’s fingers tighten on the wheel. Seems that Josh isn’t the only one who’s going to poke the bear tonight.
“Because I wanted to hear you say it.”
“Say what?”
A sharp exhale is the only evidence you have that Jake heard you. Refusing to give you a response, he flicks on the blinker to turn onto his street in a way that somehow seems snarky. It doesn’t take long before he’s pulling into his driveway and putting the car in park. Dark eyes turn to you, looking almost black in the dim light of the car.
“Get out.”
His tone leaves no space for arguing and you quickly unbuckle and stumble out of the car. Jake doesn’t wait on you – crossing the driveway to the front door in long strides, fishing for his key from his pocket. As you follow, you admire the broadness of his shoulders, the dominance within his gait alone, and yet another thrill of anticipation curls down your spine and settles between your thighs. He opens the door, not even sparing a glance backwards at you. He knows you’re following, knows you’ll follow him into the very depths of Hell if he asked.
You expect him to pounce as the door closes. But instead, he merely slips his shoes off and places them neatly by the door. His keys and wallet are placed on the foyer table. Your shoes join his by the door. Then your purse on the hook. You walk deeper into the house, making your way into the kitchen – one eye on Jake as he moves about the space, orbiting you but not yet taking the step to touch you. It puts you on edge in an odd, delicious sort of way. He’s like a shark who’s scented blood; not yet going in for the kill, but instead waiting for the right moment to strike. You grab a glass from the cabinet and pour yourself a glass of water from the sink. The cool liquid doesn’t at all soothe the fire running through your veins.
Not a second after you place the glass on the counter, you finally feel the heat of him pressing up against your back. His arms circle your waist and his lips hover over the sensitive skin of your ear.
“I don’t mean to be so possessive.” He murmurs, his lips brushing against your skin. “Or pissy. ‘m sorry.” He mumbles, voice low. The heat in your belly simmers just a little, easing into something softer for a moment.
“You have nothing to apologize for.” You answer him, tilting your head to the side as his kisses trail softly down your neck.
Using his grip around your waist, Jake pulls you tighter against him. You tilt your head back towards him and he kisses you – soft but urgent. His hands caress your sides, your hips, then come up to cup your jaw as his tongue slips through your parted lips. He’s thorough, kissing you as if he’s savoring a meal.
“Why are you being so sweet?” You’d been fully expecting a night of Jake using you to get all his frustration and energy out – an occurrence that you were more than looking forward to. His sweetness is a welcome surprise, though not at all how you saw this night going.
He kisses along your jaw before seizing your earlobe between his teeth, nipping delicately before his mouth trails lower. His hips press into you and there’s no hiding the hard line of him in his pants, hot and pulsing against you.
“I just want you to know how much I love you,” He whispers against your neck, giving you more kisses, “and how much I respect you,” another kiss. “because I'm gonna fuck you like I hate you.”
All the air leaves your lungs and your heart feels like it might beat out of your chest. The earnestness and simplicity with which he utters such vulgarity is the sexiest thing you’ve ever experienced, leaving your brain empty of anything beyond your desire for him. But he’s taking too long now, his sweet kisses no longer enough and leaving you hollow and aching for him to fulfill the promise of his warning. The words slip out from your lips unbidden.
“Why don’t you get the fuck on with it, then?”
His body goes rigid for one beat, maybe two, and then he spins you impossibly fast, a hand against your stomach, pressing you back into the wall. He captures your wrists with the other, holding them prisoner above your head.
“Fuckin’ brat.” He groans against your mouth and the rough timbre of his voice floods your veins with a wave of primal need for him. “This is the thanks I get for trying to be sweet to you?” His shoulders are tense, the muscles taut with pent up energy and frustration. You aren’t sure what it is that’s got him in such a state but you want to replace it all with lust. You want him to take it out on you – to give you the overwhelming pleasure that you know he’s capable of delivering. “Well?”
“Fuck me.” You demand in lieu of answering him and his eyes seem to come alive as his nostrils flare at your tone. “Sir.” You add, the word dripping with sarcasm, making a mockery of the title that he’s more than earned in the bedroom.
His breathing changes and there’s a war in his eyes that you’re determined to win. He leans down, his face only inches from yours. “I don't think you know what you’re asking for, Princess.” The nickname, the growl of his words rumbles up through his chest and every nerve ending in your body flares to life.
His mouth collides with yours in a kiss – a rough, demanding thing as he plunges his tongue between your lips, seizing your mouth as his. Lust strokes down your spine and wetness floods your panties as he takes your ass in his hands and hauls you up against his hips. Your back presses into the wall as you use it for leverage to get closer to him. You lock your legs around his waist as your hands settle on his shoulders, the muscles quivering beneath your touch.
Heat floods your body in an addictive rush, setting every inch of you aflame as his lips trail down the column of your throat, nipping and biting as he goes. But they aren’t gentle as they had been before – no, the sting of his teeth lets you know that your neck will be a mess in the morning, a painting of swirling purples and reds that will stand as testament to how far you pushed him tonight. The hedonistic, lecherous part of you is only excited further by the thought.
With your legs still wrapped around his waist, Jake walks backwards and turns you. Before you can even open your mouth to ask him where he’s going, your back hits the kitchen table. He hadn’t used as much force as you know he could have, but Jake had placed you hard enough onto the wooden surface that the breath in your lungs freezes for a moment as you glance up at his looming figure above you. He presses in close, roughly gripping your knees and shoving them apart so that he can walk forward and take up the space between them.
“Hands above your head.” The words are rough – more of a growl than anything and you instantly comply, suddenly feeling unable to do anything other than what he asks of you. His fingers trail down your torso, his touch searing your skin even through the fabric of your blouse. His fingers trail underneath, slipping up your stomach and then behind your back. He tugs the blouse off you and onto the floor. With impressive skill, he then unhooks your bra behind your back and tosses it away as well, eyes now trained on the hard peaks of your nipples as you lay there exposed for him. He pauses, as if drinking in the sight of you, and impatience has you speaking before thinking once again.
“You just going to stand there and stare?” As soon as the question leaves your mouth you know that you’ve really done it now. Jake’s gaze turns wicked, his grin devilish, as he shakes his head at you.
“Y’know you’re lucky,” He begins, stepping back from you and unbuckling his belt. His fingers work slowly to pull it from his belt loops. When he at last gets it free, he reaches down and grips your hands where they rest obediently above your head, “that you’re so pretty. Otherwise I wouldn’t put up with that fucking mouth of yours.” Slowly, teasingly, he wraps the leather of his belt around your wrists and then cinches it tight, securing your wrists tightly together and then placing them back down onto the table above your head.
Your body tingles with sinful pleasure and excitement at the feeling of being bound, at being kept where he wants you. Despite your mouth saying things before you can think them through, you desperately want to please the man above you. You want to worship him, to give him anything and everything he could ever ask of you. You begin to respond to him but he silences you with a heavy hand over your mouth.
“Careful, Princess. Before I make you shut up with my cock, yeah?” Eyes wide, you nod and Jake lifts his hand with a satisfied nod. “What do you say to me?”
“Yes sir.” The words are shaky, thick with lust. It takes all your focus to make your brain form the words, to make your lips form the correct sounds. You can hardly think beyond the lust swirling inside your head.
Jake doesn’t reward you with praise for your compliance as he normally would and disappointment trickles through you for the briefest of moments. But then his mouth is on your nipple, his fingers digging into your hips to hold you still. He bites down and you whimper, core pulsing as his tongue swirls around the hard bud to soothe the sting. Then he’s trailing lower, searing kisses working their way down your belly until he reaches the waistband of your skirt. Jake bunches the fabric up around your hips, exposing your damp panties for him to admire. You wish desperately that he would take the damn skirt off completely but you know that you’re in no position to be making requests.
“Look at you.” His words are honey sweet, dripping with thinly veiled desire. You can feel his hot breath on your clothed heat, his white teeth flashing as he grins up at you smugly. “You’ve ruined these poor things, haven’t you?”
You whimper as he trails the pad of his finger over your clothed clit, causing your hips to jump up towards his hand. Jake hooks his fingers in your panties with his left hand, shoving the fabric to the side – clearly unwilling to even take the time to pull them all the way off you. Then his other hand is hovering over your center, fingers running through your slick as he hums in approval. Without any more warning, he plunges a finger inside of you, curling upwards deliciously and instantly finding that spot inside of you that drives you crazy.
You cry out, back arching up off the wooden table. Your hands lift up off the table and then slam back downwards, anything else feeling uncomfortable thanks to Jake’s belt keeping them bound.
“So responsive.” Jake shows no mercy, quickly sinking another finger inside of you. Distantly, your foggy mind realizes that – even though he promised to fuck you like he hates you, you know that he would never do anything without properly prepping you first. If you were able to focus on anything other than his fingers, you might have thanked him. Instead, all you can do is moan as he works you masterfully with his fingers.
“Jake.” You plead as he abuses your sweet spot over and over, keeping you hovering over the edge of release. “Jake, please.” You beg again as he gives no indication that he’s heard you other than grinning devilishly. “Jake, I can’t- I need-” The words won’t form right no matter how hard you try, the agonizing pleasure proving to be too much.
“I know exactly what you need.” Jake answers darkly, “But you’re not asking nicely, are you?”
Eyes clenched shut, you shake your head frantically. “Please, sir?” You try instead, hips bucking forward to try and find some sort of friction. “Please make me cum? Please, please, sir.” Even to your own ears you sound pathetic but you can’t be bothered to care. All you can think about is how badly you need to cum, how incredible his fingers feel. All you can think about is Jake. “Sir, please-”
“Enough.” Jake’s fingers leave you, and you whimper loudly in protest. But you’re silenced as Jake suddenly tugs even harder on your panties. The fabric digs harshly into your skin, and then you hear the sound of fabric tearing. Jake rips them from you, and then he’s shoving the ruined fabric into your gaping mouth, silencing you as the taste of your own arousal floods your tongue. Wide-eyed, all you can do is stare at him.
Jake, looking entirely too smug and pleased with himself, eases his fingers back into your aching cunt and has you back to the edge in mere seconds, your whimpers and cries muffled by the panties shoved between your lips. Finally, Jake’s mouth descends onto your clit, his fingers never once slowing or faltering as he sucks your clit mercilessly. Your orgasm swoops in – quick, overwhelming, the pleasure white hot as it rocks through your body. Muscles quivering, you scream through your make-shift gag as Jake moans into your pussy, his eyes closing as if the taste of you is a gourmet meal.
When at last he pulls away, you're left there in a daze – aching for more of him already. Clearly just as desperate to feel you fully, Jake grips your hips and brings your ass to the edge of the table. With impressive speed Jake rips his shirt off over his head and then even quicker has his trousers off and discarded to the floor.
His cock – achingly hard and the head glistening with precum, has your mouth watering. He steps between your legs once more and instinctively your legs wrap around his waist, bringing your slick pussy to rsst his beautiful cock. Jake hikes your skirt up higher to your belly and then his left hand finds your hip – his grip bruising. Gripping his length in the other, Jake runs his cock through your folds, gathering your slick before nudging the blunt head against your entrance.
“Fuckin’ take it.” He growls, sheathing himself fully inside of you at last. Jake groans deeply and you moan the best you can through your gag. Giving you no time at all to adjust, Jake’s pace is immediately brutal. After three hard thrusts, his cock brushing against your sweet spot each time thanks to the angle of your hips, the sting of him quickly bleeds into pleasure. The table creaks and groans beneath you, the legs screeching against the kitchen floor as Jake pounds into you.
"Such a slut." Jake groans, but somehow he makes the word seem like a compliment. The wet squelching sound coming from between your legs would be embrassing if Jake didn't look like he could fall apart already. "You like it when I treat you like this?"
You nod frantically in answer, loving every second and still wanting more.
"'Course you do." The words escape through gritted teeth, his voice shaky despite the hard persona he's putting on. "Shit, Y/n."
Jake’s gaze falls down between the two of you, eyes trained on where he moves in and out of you, his skin growing shiny with sweat. His hair sticks to his temples and the side of his neck, his necklaces swinging and clinking in the air between the two of you. “Look so fucking good stretched around my cock.”
You can’t answer, the feel of him moving inside of you too perfect to think of anything else. Jake’s hips slap against yours, his impressive stamina allowing his pace to remain fast, mercilessly, without faltering for even a second. It doesn’t take long for the heat simmering in your lower belly to rise, your body plummeting once again, head first, towards your second orgasm. Jake’s mouth is open, his brows furrowing as his own release draws nearer and nearer. His hand reaches up and pulls your ruined panties from your mouth at last and instantly your cries – once muffled, echo throughout the room along with the sound of Jake’s skin slapping against yours.
“Say my name when you cum.” Jake orders, his thumb finding your clit and circling the swollen bud. His touch isn’t gentle – the pace just as brutal as the pace of his hips slamming into yours. Your orgasm hits you like a freight train and you scream Jake’s name, the muscles in your body convulsing violently.
“Oh fuck. Fuck, Y/n.” Jake’s pace finally begins to falter as your walls clench around him. Jake’s left hand braces against the edge of the table, his knuckles turning white from the force of his grip. A litany of curses and groans fills the air as Jake spills inside of you, the feeling of his hot release making your eyes roll back. Your body burns with pleasure – pleasure that is dangerously close to bleeding into hot agony from overstimulation.
Finally, Jake stills, his cock softening inside of you as he breathes out shakily, one hand coming up to wipe the sweat from his forehead. Still staying inside of you, the feeling of him there somehow comforting, Jake reaches up and unbinds your wrists. He brings each one to his lips in turn, kissing the red skin where the leather had been digging into you.
“I love you.” He offers, his brown eyes now regarding you with a soft, almost sympathetic look. “My princess.” His fingers gently trace over your lips, his touch reverent.
“Love you more.” You murmur tiredly,
“Impossible.”

Please do more of of the super Robin!! Only if you want to, of course, but I really want to see more of everyone at the dinner, losing their minds while Tim, Kon, and Danny just bask in it. I especially want to see more of Alfred being sassy because that is the funniest part for me.
Somehow, Danny is not only half Kryptonian but also a meta-human. Tim may not have developed the gene; it was somewhere in his family tree- Tim personally thinks it's on his mother's side- that skipped the super genius and implanted itself into his son.
Tim detected the meta-gene while running basic tests on the clone when he was first created. He was still determining which of Danny's abilities were the meta part of himself since so many previous powers he has shown were Kryptonian.
Everyone was on high alert, waiting with barely held breath for Danny's powers to unlock. It made Kon a bit angsty, always watching his son with tight-rung tension whenever he tripped or stumbled.
Not that he was upset Danny was a meta, but he's seen plenty of meta's while in the field that usually caused such destruction because none were prepared for their powers. Especially since most meta's powers are unlocked under severe tension and life-threatening moments.
He wanted what was best for his boy. Tim, on the other hand, handled fatherhood in a more relaxed and snarky but loving point of view. Danny would randomly start flying through their house, with Kon walking underneath him in case he fell and shout, "To the stars, my spaceman!" while sipping coffee, finding it hilarious how his usually smug husband was reduced to a mother-hen.
Danny responded by making rocket ship sounds and soaring a little faster, and Kon fretted a bit more. Tim could spend the rest of his life watching them.
That didn't mean he would, seeing as life needed to move forward, and being a father didn't mean he stopped being Tim. They needed some time for being a couple as well.
This is why they contacted Tim's siblings to ask for a favor one weekend in late spring.
Dick had agreed to watch his nephew and littlest brother- Jarro- while Tim and Kon went on a romantic getaway weekend. It was a test run for the two men's honeymoon that was set to be in about six months, while also a chance for Danny to bond with his family.
Their elopement had been rather rushed, and Danny running around made it hard for them to actually have time as a couple after their marriage. Tim had created their child in a grief induce craze after all.
Kon insisted that Tim included every possible test result and likely meta-gene sighting in the binder they left that held everything Dick needed to know about Danny. It was a sizeable three-inch binder, organized by several tabs and sheets, which took Dick a whooping hour and a half to get through, but he will read every single sentence because he loves his nephew.
He's currently mid-way on "Passtime and approved hobbies." Kon had written five times that crime fighting and sneaking out to take photos was not child age-appropriate, but Tim added, "If he has an uncle or aunt with him, it's fine" in Parathas.
"Watch this!" Jarro crowed, springing in place before flinging himself across Dick's living room in a rapid side-ways spin. "Ninja-Star!
Danny cheered from the floor, jumping up and down. "Ninja-Star! Ninja-Jarro!"
Dick grins, taking a quick video to send to Damian with the words They want to be like you."
He gets back a rapid Naturaly
Despite being a one-word reply, he knows that his brother is beaming somewhere on Gotham Acadmey's open field.
"Ice-mage!" Danny yells suddenly. Dick snaps his head up from his phone at once. Usually, when kids scream nonsense like that, it's make-believe, but with these two, it was best to be safe than sorry.
Yup, ice is now covering every inch of his living room floor. He winces, and there goes his safety deposit. "Danny, where did the ice come from"
"Duh Uncle Dick, it's my ice magic!" Danny calls back, sliding across the floor with a giggle. Jarro rides on his head, one little limb stretched out as he war cries.
Dick fights the urge to sigh. "I know that, darling. I meant did you make it with your freeze breath or?"
"I made it like this." Danny does a strnge twirling of his fingers over eacother before a ice slide appears at the end of the couch. Danny climbs over the arm rest to reach it and slide down, with a burst of more giggles.
Dick nods, humming in the back of his throat as he flips the binder to the back page and pens in "Ice-based meta gene."
He pauses at the sight of Alfred's neat and perfect penmenship with the words "Density shifting- Young Master Danny flouted down into the cave to help me clean. He's very well-mannered, likely from his Kent side. Heaven knows he didn't inherent it from this family."
Dick winces even more. He can practically hear Alfred's accented No one helps me in this damn house. He should go over tonight to redo the Batcave's invintory and maybe shine up the Batcars.
"Uncle Dick, can we watch Frozen!?"
After an excellent movie with his baby brother and little nephew.

Hello! I'm unsure if requests are open, if not please do forgive me! I've never done this before- Do reject this if you desire! >.< I wanted to know if you can possibly do- Task 141 x Male! Ghostface Reader, where he's almost identical to the original GF but with a twist, very snarky with his funny remarks despite seemingly being cruel and cold. He's an actual sweetheart when he's comfy around them? Mysterious as they have never seen a photo or proper description of him, as it's either n/a or classified- You can base him off the Danny Johnson Ghostface
An idea for this could be that he's a target from Laswell after various high-status politics suddenly disappear and she orders them to detain him and perhaps even acquire him as a potential ally only for the boys to get to the location and see him absolutely wreaking havoc, almost like a saw movie with how gorey and aggressive he can be? Then he just turns around and just makes a nonchalant comment on how cute they are for being so late? He's partially playful and monotonous with his raspy voice which turns out not to be a device but his actual one- Doing small pranks on the boys as they chase him around the establishment, clearly having the time of his life? Then when they manage to corner him, he's just passive- and he somehow manages to slip away with the promise of 'playing' with them again.
Hyped up on Spooky boys and I love your writing style!!! This has also inspired me to make a Ghostface COD Oc- LEMME STOP LOL -GhostyFaceAnon 👻
Whats Your FavoriteScary Movie~?
Tf!141 x Ghostface!Male reader
Tumblr media
Females, She/Her and She/They DNI
A good horror story is made from true events.Luckily thats how M/n’s stories went and thats what made them terrifying. All of his stories would make others uncomfortable, unsettled and to top it off it would captivate the eyes of others.Though there was one part of the story M/n enjoyed the most
The climax
Tumblr media
“So your telling me that these politics just disappeared with no trace?”Price asked Laswell, peering over her shoulder.
“Yeah, theres only a little footage of each disappearance. I was editing it and I was able to catch something.”Laswell said as she slowed the video down and pausing it when the figure in black showed up.They were now able to see the Ghostface mask the person wore.
“What the hell?”Soap muttered out, trying to comprehend what he was looking at.The male was sneaking up on one of the many politics that had gone missing before striking a pole across the mans neck. The man fell too the ground and that was the last thing they saw before the footage cut out.
“Do you know who could be doing this.”Gaz asked as he eyed the file that Laswell had been holding.
“I’ve tried but.”Laswell placed the file on the table before opening it.“everything on his file is either scratched out or theres just nothing there.”Laswell said as Priced pulled the file towards him.The only information that was given was the mans code name.Ironically it was S.C.R.E.A.M in all caps.
“This guy is the new Ghostface now or what?”Ghost asked as Soap chuckled.
“Well looks like you two are made for one another, both of ya are Ghosts.”Soap joked as Ghost glared at him in response.Gaz looked at Laswell for a moment before speaking up.
“Where are they hiding these people exactly?”Gaz asked as Laswell showed them a picture of a building. It looked old but it was oddly clean despite the moss that was forming on the front of it.
“I had someone get this for me since all the disappearances happened around this area. Its a crowded area but it has a high rate for people going missing.”Laswell said as Price hummed in response.
Tumblr media
The building had moss all over it, and the screams of people could be heard from inside. One had passed out from shock and the others were whimpering or trying to get out of the chair that they were tied to.The room was covered in blood, there were weapons all over the walls, it was just a mess.
“Y-you know we can get pass all of this-w-we won’t tell a soul if you let us go!”One of them yelled out, only to be met with cold metal hitting their throat.
“What makes you think I’d believe you?”A disorientated voice spoke out while running a knife across his neck. The man was shaking now as he felt the tip of the knife be pulled away by the perpetrator. The man in the mask sighed while stomping his feet on the ground like a toddler.
“I’m so bored~!Oh!I have an idea lets play a trivia game!”The male said in excitement as some began whimpering in their chairs, shaking uncontrollably. The masked man made his way to the wall and scanned all of the weapons then smiled once his mic came into view.
“I have a question, whats your favorite scary movie?”SCREAM asked as he put the mic in one of their faces.
“T-the Babadook.”The woman muttered as the male who questioned her grunted in disapproval.
“The Babadook, seriously?Honestly what are peoples taste in horror nowadays”SCREAM said as he moved on to another.
“What about you, whats your favorite scary movie?”The question moved to the man tied next to the woman.
“Holloween you bastard.”The man spat out but was met with a whack to the head.
“No profanity jackass, what about you good sir.Whats your favorite scary movie?”He asked once more with a monotone voice, now eying the man who was still passed out.
“Friday the 13.”He kept his answer short, afraid of what would happen if he said more. The male began to chuckle under his mask as he approached the male who was passed out, still tied to his chair. He lifted the man up and dragrd his chair beneath a dim light that was hanging from the ceiling.
“Time for a trivia~!Answer 3 questions, answer one wrong your little friend dies.”SCREAM said threatening the others with enthusiasm. The man was about to explain the rules until the passed out man woke up and began screaming. The e/c eyes behind the mask looked unamused at the mans cries.
“Please don’t do th-.”The woman was cut off.
“Catagorey:Holloween, who was the killer in the Holloween movie.Come on now one of you have to answer!”SCREAM taunted as the other man blurted out.
“Micheal Myers! It was Micheal you sick fucker!”The man yelled as SCREAM gave him a round of applause.
“Good job....question 2 different Category: Friday the 13th.Who was the original killer of Friday the 13th.”
“Jason Voorhees!”The woman cried out as SCREAM sighed in disappointment.
“Darn, I’m afraid your incorrect.”SCREAM said in faux remorse. The womans eyes widened.
“N-no that is correct I’ve watched that movie to many times to know-“
“If you did watch it as much as you claim you’d know that the original killer is Mrs.Voorhees.”He explained.“Jason didn’t arrive until the sequel.”He continued as the woman shook her head in disbelief.
“Ah...I’m sorry but, seems like your buddy has to go!”SCREAM turned off the light that was hanging over the politician, and the sound of something ripping open could be heard as well as well as a scream. The light was turned back on and Scream was no where to be seen, although the only thing there was the politician, stomach ripped open eith his intestines spilling over his lap.SCREAM moved the males chair away from the light before grabbing the woman who was tied up.She began screaming at him, telling him that “he didn’t have to do this”, he didn’t care it was his job anyway.
“Come on now, the games have to continue!”The disorientated voice said as a smile crept upon his features.
Tumblr media
The taskforce made it to the building, weapons loaded and all.The fact that this was just one guy they were dealing with, and they needed all of them together to detain him.
“Just how dangerous is this guy?”Gaz asked himself aloud as Ghost glanced at him.He himself was wondering what they were dealing with. This man kidnapped 4 politicians on his own without being caught, and weeks after their disappearances they’ve just now have gotten a lead on where they were. They began to walk inside but were immediately stopped by the piercing screams that echoed throughout the building.
“Ah shit, I think we may be to late.”Soap said as they approached the room that the scream came from.Price eyed them all as they all nodded in approval, ready to see what was going on behind the door.Price kicked the door down and held his gun up, but almost dropped it once he saw the gorey situation. The others came into the room and Gaz had to cover his noise, the metallic scent of blood and chemicals was prominent and would’ve given anyone a headache. All of the politics were dead, well, besides two.
SCREAM was sawing off the politicans legs off as the other one screamed at him through a gag.He was choking on his own blood due to being stabbed in the stomach multiple times, and was suffocating behind the gag.
SCREAM whipped his head around due too the click of a gun.
“Oh well you all came late how cute~.SCREAM said teasingly as he swiftly pulled out a gun and shot the man whose leg was being chopped off in the head. “Welp gotta go handsomes~!”He continued as he made his way past them all.
The politicians body slumped, already alerting them that he was dead. The team was stunned so the s/c skinned male made a run for it, and Ghost was the first one to snap out of the state of shock.
“He’s running down stairs!”Ghost yelled out as he ran after him.The male being chased slipped while running down the stairs and groaned when he hit the floor.
“Agh-Fucking SHIT!”The male yelled in pain as his ankle throbbed. He suspected he may have twisted his ankle but got up when the other male wearing a Ghost mask footsteps got louder. He stood up and limped away but his adrenaline was high so he started to run again but was immediately stopped by Price who turned the corner.Knowing that he couldn’t turn around he threw one of his knives at Price who dodges it, but it gave him a chance to run pass him,in which he did.He kept running but what do you know, Soap tackled him and they rolled across the concrete floor.M/n got up just as quick as Soap did.The Scot pointed a gun at the mask wearing male who crossed his arms. The others showed up shortly after finding their teammate.
Tumblr media
“Hehe...hello?”The man said awkwardly as he backed away from the men who now had him cornered. His eyes scanned the area for an escape which none was there, besides the oh so conveniently placed window that had been opened for some odd reason.Ghost eyed the man up and down, taking note of the dark wear the male was wearing. His outfit had a lot of chains, some of them in which he tied the politicians with.
“Drop your weapons and come with us, don’t make things harder than what it is.”Price said calmly as SCREAM shifted in place. He had been inching closer the the open window and was stopped by Gaz who had noticed the males advances.
“Where are you trying to go hm?”The brown skinned male asked as SCREAM eyed him through his mask. Now that Gaz was upclose, he could see the soft e/c eyes that hidden behind the mask. His heart would’ve melted if he hadn’t known this was the guy that killed those politics.Important politics at that.
“Well I will go where I want if you’d get your pretty ass out my face.”SCREAM said jokingly as Gaz glared at him, blush beginning yo cover his cheeks at the word ‘pretty’.
“How about y’all let me go, and we go our separate ways eh?I mean we don’t want anyone getting hurt do we?”SCREAM asked threateningly as Ghost grunted.
“Can’t we just take him already.”Ghost asked gruffly as Soap looked up at him.
“If he co-operates this could be over with.”Soap said while looking back at the man in black.SCREAM eyed Gaz for a moment before pulling the males hat down to where he couldn’t see.
He then ran towards Price who was ready to pin him down but was startled when the male rolled between his separted legs and grabbing his hat.Once the hat was in his grasp he wrapped it around the man neck before running off.Soap and Ghost started running after him once more and SCREAM made the dumb decision to throw a bar of soap at Soap. The male groaned at the sudden pain on his forehead and stopped to rub his forehead that was now beginning to bruise.
Ghost was hot on SCREAMS tail as they were almost at the exit of the building.Ghost reached out to grab the males mask but stopped in his tracks when the male pulled a bookshelf down, blocking his way.
“Hey!”A monotone voice called out to the lieutenant who glared at him through his mask.He began to step over the bookshelf until the voice was heard again.
“Your shoes untied.”SCREAM said and Ghost looked down to see that his shoe was untied, but was quickly met with a kick to the balls.Out of pure reaction he retracted his movements to bend down and almost curl up.
“Sorry buddy.....I HOPE TO PLAY WITH YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS AGAIN SOON!”SCREAM yelled out as he left the building where the team was now left in bewilderment. The guy that had tortured and killed those politics thought this whole thing was some sort of game.Well luckily for him
THEY WERE GOING TO BE PLAYING ANOTHER TYPE OF GAME NEXT TIME😏

Word Count: 1.9k
----------
The sun is bright in the blue sky by the time the plane lands on the asphalt and comes to a stop. You feel your breath hitch in your throat as your heart pounds. It’s been months since you’ve seen Danny and you feel like you haven’t been able to breathe normally since. Evelyn moves from beside you, nails shortened by her nervous biting. What’s going to happen now that Rafe and Danny are back? If they are back? Did Danny change his mind after he’s been away and wants Evelyn or is he still keeping his word and coming back to you?
“I feel like I’m going to faint,” her words are hushed as she tries to poke her head through the crowd of people and you try not to make a snarky comment. You and her were best friends, practically sisters, but she had broken your trust in a way you never thought she would. Since then, your relationship with the nurse has never been the same.
“Don’t be dramatic.” Despite your harsh words and harsh exterior, inside you are panicking. What if he died? Then what? What if he chooses her?
“I love him, you know? I love both of them so much.” If there was one thing you loved about Evelyn it’s that she’s a romantic like you, but not as much when she’s talking about the person who you’ve dreamt about for months on end.
“I love him too. More than you can know.” You grab her hand and lead her through the group of people toward the front as the door to the plane drops open. Doolittle comes out first and you watch as his wife rushes towards him, gripping onto him as others slowly start to trickle out. Most you’ve met before, Gooz, Red, Earl, Rafe. Rafe. At the sight of him, Evelyn bolts forward, running straight into his arms and your heart beats a little faster. Maybe it’s the sun beating down on you or maybe it’s the fact that you have yet to see his face, but you feel sick to your stomach.
Slowly walking towards the plane, you wait in high hopes as the remaining men come out, but still no Danny. Your heart sinks. Oh Danny, you stupid boy. Tears begin to swell in your eyes as your brain jumps to the worst possible situation. Evelyn takes note too, her hand reaching up to her mouth to hold back sobs, gaining Rafe’s attention. Noticing that Danny is nowhere to be seen, Rafe gently removes Evelyn from his arms and makes his way back to the plane. “Danny get your ass out here.”
“Boy s-s-sure knows how to make an entrance,” Red mutters, walking towards the group of people with a solemn look on his face, wishing Betty was amongst the crowd.
A boot steps onto the stairs from the shadow and into the light, causing your heart to drop for the second time. “Danny,” you whisper softly, wiping the tears from your eyes as you rush past the group and up the stairs of the plane, grabbing onto him and pushing him back into the shadow causing him to let out a groan of pain. “I thought I lost you.”
Danny lets out a choked sob as he wraps one arm around you and buries his face in your hair, inhaling your scent. God he’s missed you. You’re the only thing he could think about for those months. The way your skin lights up in the sun. The way your eyes twinkle from the lights. The way the wind moves your hair. Everything about you is what kept him going, even when he crashed. “You can’t get rid of me that easily,” he chuckles as you pull away, looking over him as realization crashes over you.
“Oh my God, what happened? We need to get you to a hospital,” you wince as you look over the extent of his injuries. His arm is in a sling, his leg has a long metal brace on it, and he has a big bandage over his neck.
“Wasn’t one of my better landings. The Chinese took good care of me and got me to this point,” he takes a step forward, pulling you back into him as he bumps his nose against yours. “They got me back to you.” He places a feather soft kiss to your lips before pulling back. “You’re as beautiful as the day I left you.”
“Don’t ever leave me again,” you comment, taking his good side and hoisting his arm over your shoulders, helping him down the stairs as people cheer.
“I don’t plan on it.”
“Danny!” Evelyn rushes to his other side, being careful to avoid hurting him further and a lump forms in your throat. The moment you and him just shared was intimate, loving. There should be no confusion about who he chose, but still, there’s always that probability.
“Evelyn. It’s good to see you,” he wears a smile on his face but he knows that the only woman he’ll ever love is the one on his good side.
“Yeah,” she pushes a piece of hair behind her ear, “you too.”
“Alright, let’s get Danny some proper treatment. Those Chinese nurses did a temp job, but he needs some actual medical care.” Rafe steps in, aware of your thankful gaze before the four of you walk off and get some medical help.
-----------
The hospital room is warm with a slight breeze coming in from the window as Danny lays on the bed, arm and leg in a proper cast. The tension in the room is visibly thick with you and Evelyn sitting on either side of Rafe, no one dares talking as the doctor and nurses work to make Danny comfortable.
Turning to the three of you, the doctor gestures for all to step out of the room before eyeing you and Evelyn in confusion. “Which one of you is the wife?”
“Neither of them are, sir. Whatever you need to say, you can say to all three of us,” Rafe comments as the doctor shrugs his shoulders in response.
“Captain Walker’s injuries were very severe. The doctors overseas did a good job of stitching his neck, but with the extent of his injuries to his arm and leg, he will have to be under watch for several months with several more months of physical training. We speculate that he will never be medically cleared to fly again.” Rafe’s head hangs in pity for Danny, but you see the look of relief that comes across Evelyn’s features and you feel the same way. “It was an act of God that he survived how he did. He should feel very blessed, but the pain is going to be tough. We will monitor it and give pain medicine as needed, but there is only so much we can do.”
“We understand,” you chime in, fingers picking at your cuticles. “Thank you Doctor.” He nods before walking away, leaving the three of you in the hall. “Now what?”
“We gotta be there for him. He’s not going to take this news well.” Evelyn nods along with Rafe’s words as a nurse steps out of the room and faces them.
“Is one of you Evelyn?” Evelyn’s eyes widen as she nods her head, stepping forward.
“Yes, that’s me.”
“He’s asked to speak with you.” The nurse holds open the door for Evelyn to go inside and sit down at his side, taking his hand. You can’t deny the feeling of hurt that encompasses you and Rafe notices. Taking your hand in his, he gives you a series of light squeezes
“He loves you. Don’t worry.”
“How do you know he won’t choose her?” The question is genuine and Rafe looks to you with exasperation.
“All he talked about was coming back home to you. Even in the thick of it, when we were surrounded by Japs, he kept praying to whoever to let him come home to you. I don’t think he once mentioned her.” Rafe gestures to where Danny lays and Evelyn sits, crying into her hands. “Believe me, he fucked up big time kissing my girl when he was going steady with you, but you’re the one he wants. The one he’s always wanted.” You let out a sigh of relief, giving his hand a reaffirming squeeze before letting go and letting your heart slowly mend. It’s true that Danny did kiss Evelyn while the two of you were seeing each other, but he had assured you that it was a one time deal and it would never happen again as long as he lives. She, on the other hand, made him her everything.
Evelyn storms out of the room and faces you, tears rolling down her face. “If you ever hurt him…” It’s an empty threat and you know it. Evelyn couldn’t harm a fly, much less one of her former closest friends. Seeking solace in Rafe, she buries her head into his chest as he wraps his arms around her, still not sure what to make of the entire situation. Taking that as a cue, you walk into the room, closing the door behind you and making your way to his bedside.
“Hey there,” his voice is raspy and you instinctively reach for the cup of water, bringing the straw to his lips for him to drink.
“Hey to you too. The doctor said you’ll be here for some months. Said your injuries were more severe than you let on.” He nods his head, pushing away the water and laying his brown eyes on yours.
“Did they say if I can fly again?” Hanging your head, you reach for his hand and grasp it into yours.
“I’m sorry honey, but probably not. The army won’t clear you after something like this. They said it’s a miracle you’re even alive.” Danny smirks and internally feels relief. Yes, he wants to continue and work for the war effort, but he also just wants to leave the world behind and move to a small house with you to live out a domesticated life.
“You’re the only thing that kept me going. When I was out there,” he pauses, looking away and trying to bat the tears away. He does not want to look weak, not when he’s already looking weak as is. “When I was out there, I thought I was going to die. I was bleeding profusely, losing consciousness by the second and the only thing I could think of was you. You’re my world, (Y/N), and I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving you the way I thought Rafe left me. And I’m sorry that I kissed Evelyn. We were both mourning and needing comfort and she was the only one that could understand, not that it doesn’t excuse it. But I love you and I will make it up to you for the rest of my life if I have to.”
Your heart is hammering in your chest and butterflies erupt in your stomach. He chose me. It’s me who he wants. “Danny, what are you trying to say?”
Mustering the strength, Danny brings your hand up to his lips, kissing your soft knuckles. “What I'm trying to say is, will you marry me?”
“Oh Danny!” You surge forward, pressing your lips against his as tears roll down your cheeks. Breaking away from the kiss, you rest your forehead against his, his breath and your breath mingling together. “Yes, a thousand times, yes!”
“Yes?”
“Yes!” Your lips connect with his again and for the first time in a while, you feel that everything is just right.

I just realized that there is literally zero fanfics with Danny Fenton/M'gann M'orzz pairing and idk, am I the only one who see nearly endless potential in it?
I don't know how they met but they're probably pretty fast friends.
With Danny being space nerd, he would ask M'gann all the questions about Mars. At the same time, from what little I know about Miss Martian, she is "Earth nerd" and would ask him all the questions about Earth and what normal teenage life is like, because YL team is not the best study case. Like, only Wally and maybe Artemis (I don't know a thing about her other than 'snarky/blunt archer') had normal human life. He is happy to answer, introducing her to his semi normal life before accident.
They exchanged stories about stars from their respective homes.
Just imagine, Danny binge watching "Hello Megan" just to know what she is talking about and it's not his thing, really, but he learnt to enjoy it because he associated it with M'gann (we can have Jazz being fan too and feeling 'betrayed' because she tried to strongarm her brother to watch it for years and all it took was to cute alien girl to mention it and he is pulling all nighters).
Just imagine, M'gann asking one of her teammates (probably Robin) to teach her to play Doomed, so she can play with her halfa friend and his friends and not ask about every controller. They don't really mind her being newbie but sudden progress doesn't go unnoticed or unpraised.
Everlasting trio inviting her to Nasty Burger every once in a while to talk about random, not hero related things.
Rest of the YJ may not even know about Phantom. They just know about this Danny, M'gann's totally civilian friend, who likes milkshakes and video games.
They share their stories and tips about heroing and powers they have similar. Mostly M'gann shares things she learnt from her uncle or in Mountain because let's be honest, self taught is rarely better than someone with proper mentoring. She for sure helps with ghosts if they attack during her visit, even if Danny tries to shield her from it. "I'm supposed to be your civilian friend, am I not?"
She definitely does what she can to help with his hero PR. She may or may not accidentally convinced rest of the Team she has celebrity crush on underappreciated ghost hero from the middle of the nowhere. They help her, spamming all negative news reports with praises for Phantom from both hero and civilian accounts. It caused some mess, Justice League had questions but Danny was happy so it doesn't matter.
If we go with ghost being super emphatic we can have Danny overwhelmed by everyone's feelings (honest hate his parents have towards his hero persona, confliction of towns people, concern of his friends, excitement of Casper students idk, EVERYTHING) and M'gann helps him overcome it. Later both of them being there for eachother when everything was just too much. Y'know just this mutual understanding that nobody else can really give them.
Maybe some communication troubles because M'gann prefers telepathy and Danny does not like it in a slightest (Freakshow flashbacks or something) but tries to accommodate. Or M'gann doesn't even try because idk, one of telepathy rules is "don't read thoughts of dying person unless they project it to you" and she feels it goes for dead (even if only halfway) too.
They're just vibing with eachother.
Then there is ghost attack outside Amity and Team is send to deal with it. M'gann is surprisingly competent at dealing with everything ghost does while evacuating civilians while someone magic competent is called. Suddenly she stops, gets her phone and makes a call:
"Hey Danny, do you have a moment?" whole team is too shocked to react, because in the love of whatever they believe in, why is Megan calling her civilian friend in the middle of the battle with unknown entity. "It's [insert whatever ghost you want] wrecking havoc. Can you come by at take them to the zone? I don't have thermos on me right now. Thank you."
WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?
Que Danny flying top speed to wherever she is, fights a ghost and contains them. Que someone (maybe Wally) being like:
"When did you wanted to tell us that your civilian friend is a hero?"
M'gann honest to god forgot that Team thought Danny was a civilian.
"I worked quite hard to drag her into as little of my Phantom bullshit as I could. I am proud of being a civilian friend, thank you very much"
They all came in contact together after that.
Martian Manhunter tried to give Fenton a shovel talk but boy was too excited to meet his favourite hero and to focused on not making fool of himself to be actually scared or something. He deals with Skulker on a regular basis anyway, there are very few threats that could actually scare him.
Team members also tried to shovel talk him, just in case. They all failed for one reason or another
Or maybe Danny is already YJ member. Everything above can still happen just without ghost attack. Danny can have issues with Zeta Tubes though. That's a good stuff.
There can be a drama of "I'm your friend only because I'm alien/semi normal, am I not?"
Or we can go with space obsessed Danny going full Vlad on cute alien girl. Y'know, because "that's a halfa thing to do". M'gann is not into that. I'm not really excited about this take but that's a possibility too.
Use it as you will. Just please someone write it

I am not a baby! (Yes you are)
Part one of my  Dpxdc Subnautica au from this post   Next part
Alarms blared, red lights flashing in his face as he bolted from his bunk. It was supposed to be educational; a three month trip then back home now all he could hear were screams of terror. Flames licked his arms as he ran around panicked desperate for an adult who wasn’t screaming or telling him to “Piss off” The smell of burnt plastic burnt his nostrils; him being here at all had to be breaking all types of child labor laws.
The floor trembled beneath him and Danny tried his hardest to float. His feet levitated an inch off the ground before his power fizzled out at the tips of his toes sending him crashing to the floor. His head pounded; he couldn’t go ghost, he couldn’t use any of his powers!
He was just fourteen and he was going to die...again, in a spaceship of all places.
Danny loved space, the planets and stars all so beautiful but still out of his grasp. This was supposed to be a chance for him to see the universe. It was supposed to be his dream come true. His one and only chance at exploring the galaxy!
“Attention. Hull damage Imminent. All personnel abandon ship.” A robotic voice speaks over the intercom but all Danny can do is lay there as people rush by practically stepping on him.
Suddenly he’s grabbed by the scruff of his suit the sound of heavy footfall and electricity crackling making his head spin. If this were any other situation he might’ve made a sarcastic comment to the stranger who tossed him over their shoulder like a sack of potatoes. But again, they were in space, and currently about to crash! Plus any snarky remark would likely be drowned out by crowds of panicked people.
It’s not long until the stranger tosses him into a life pod with Danny scrambling to strap himself in. Slamming his hand down on the remote he forces his shoulder belts down and braces his head against a seat too big for him.
“Launch in 3...”
Wait... It’s launching already?
“2...″
“Wait, Stop!” He screamed, he didn’t want to be alone!
“1...”
His body lurched everything was shaking, he couldn’t even hear himself think over the sounds of blaring alarms and roaring machinery. It felt like the air around him was squeezing his skull like a stress ball. Metal shrieked as a side panel tore off the wall and went flying toward him.
“Schunk!”
Pain. Unbearable pain. A scream died on his split lip only the strangled gurgles of blood pouring out his throat. The panel had embedded itself a perfect split down his face and neck. His vison blurred and all he could see was red.
So this is how it ended for him?
Face bisected by a flimsy metal sheet...
A cruelly anticlimactic death compared to his first but at least he got to die in space. Closing his eyes, Danny felt a familiar numbness spread throughout his body.
Once again he was gone.

Danny Phantom Writing Prompt: The Lack of a Hero Complex
Once Danny publicly shames Vlad into returning the status quo of Amity Park, Danny also stops ghost fighting.
The Human Trio and Vlad confront Danny about his lack of action. The Human Trio finally gets a taste of the sleep deprivation Danny experienced when he didn't want to burden them from their schedules while the property damage continued to tarnish Vlad's public reputation. Danny just laughs.
Sam, completely livid at the lack of reaction: Who’s going to protect the town, Danny?
Danny gets up from the couch and looks directly into Vlad's eyes: Yeah, Vlad, how do you plan on protecting your town?
Danny lightly chuckles while he goes down to the lab where the Fenton Parents were working. He was just gonna play on the family computer while his Dad would boast about their latest idea.
The human trio:
Tumblr media
Vlad:
Tumblr media
When the ghosts who come to directly harass Danny, he decides he just needs to be completely honest with each of them.
Danny: Listen, I'll admit I kinda had fun with the bantering, but I want to focus on better things now. I was never really interested in any of you.
The Ghosts:
Tumblr media
The results?
Vlad has to set up legit ghost detectors all over the city and properly hire the Fentons for protection. Vlad hoped that the hiring would gain him favor from Maddie, but he finally got to see how she really was compared to his idealized version. Their constant public damages made Vlad's reputation even more tarnished, and their lack of change despite him personally talking to them about it makes him grow equal resentment towards both of them. It gets to the point where Vlad just sets up the same ecto repellent he uses to keep ghosts from escaping his portal back in Winsconsin. The extra paperwork he has to do now governing is not worth the mess he caused. Political power wasn't as worth it as he thought it would be.
The Human Trio gave Danny the cold shoulder for a while, but that just gave him some well needed alone time to raise his grades. He even finally got to join the astronomy club like he planned before the portal accident. They were a very chill group and welcomed him to sit with them at lunch, so he was never alone. Dash tried to start their usual routine, but that was immediately hauled by the club leader.
Dash wasn't clever enough to figure out how to respond to being called 'Pussy Lips' by a girl, so he just kinda sulked away.
Dash will say the occasional snarky comment, but he never bring himself to get too close to Danny after a club member told Danny to tell Dash and the other football players they could take turns sucking him off after their club meeting. Dash just wasn't clever enough to get things back to normal.
Though the club members weren't A-listers, they weren't at the bottom, so Danny social life became better.
The Human Trio tried to continue on like before, but they were soon caught ghost hunting by the Fentons. There was no punishment, just overactive excitement, seeing they were finally interested in Ghost Hunting. Now, having to join the Fentons whenever there was a ghost detected, the fun of it is zapped away for them, making the tiredness not worth it anymore. The three eventually apologized to Danny, which he accepts, and the group finally accepts the new changes.
There are many things that can upset a ghost, but the universal act that can anger any core is being ignored. Even with the ecto repellent, the stronger ghosts manage to get through and try to get Danny's attention. The boy always just texts Vlad about how he sucks at his job and to take care of the disruption. The ghost eventually pick up that their violent outburst aren't working, so it gets to the point that they try to get his attention another way.
They tried to coax him with things they believed he liked. It is comparable to how Hyper Cat-lovers try to get a shy cat to love them.
Lunch Lady offers him a freshly made meal when he's low on money one day. He thanks her but says he had a big breakfast.
Ember tries to act like their best friends in front of the A-listers, so Danny will become more popular at school. He greets her but continues on his stroll like she was a typical citizen.
Technus offers to give Danny the answer key to all the tests for his classes, but he denies this offer instantly. He'll never cheat on a test ever again.
It got to the point that Skulker said he would drop the promise of getting Danny's pelt if he just let him see his ghostly form. Creeped out, Danny just backed away. He was thankful Valerie was close by.
Box Ghost actually got somewhere when he offered a three-dimensional solar system model. It was in a box he had, so Box Ghost offered it to Danny. He accepted it as the one in the club was showing its age.
This seemed to make these random ghost visits even more frequent. Danny guessed Box Ghost bragged about his 'accomplishment'.
Basically, the ghosts' obsession to defeat Danny changes to them wanting his attention. Vlad’s obsession becomes solely focused on Danny as he just finds Maddie and Jack so annoying now. Like, Vlad just wants to get custody of Danny and get the hell out of Amity Park. He doesn't even want to kill the Fentons now out of fear that they will become ghosts.
After the Ember incident, the A-listers kept trying to buddy up to him. However, Danny learned how they really were, so he just treated them the way he treated ghosts. Now, it seemed they were just as desperate.
Danny will turn into Phantom only when it's necessary, that or he's in the mood to fly. The downside to this change is that whenever he does transform, he always has an entourage of attention-starved ghosts following behind him. He can't even imagine how things would be if he went to the Ghost Zone.
Additions:
For those who want to know the members of the astronomy club-
For those who want to see the club room-

Like Betta Fish Do - Part 12
Masterpost of ao3 link and all parts.
wc 2295 (Chapter 9 when on ao3)
“Hey, it’s Danny, right?” asked the person standing next to Danny’s seat. They shifted, tucking a long strand of pitch black hair behind their ear.
“Yes?”
“We thought—”
“She thought,” said the woman who practically barreled into the first speaker’s back. She hooked her chin over the other’s shoulder with a grin as she adjusted her hijab. “Cloe thought, but we all agree.”
“Which is why I said we, I’m Cloe, this is Fara, that guy over there is José.” She motioned to a young man with a head full of curly brown hair and an easy smile waiting by the door. “We need a fourth for the group project, want to join us?”
“Me?” Danny repeated in surprise. No one in Casper High ever wanted him on a team, not unless it was Tucker and Sam.
“Totally. Your comment today on the possible advancements of propulsion technology was just the sort of thing that we’d love to do our topic on. It didn’t look like you had a group?”
“No, I don’t, not yet. That would be nice,” Danny said with a crooked smile. He’d been worried about having to find a group to work with so the offer was a huge weight off. Honestly the presentation was way too much of their grade in his opinion (but maybe that’s just because he had been dreading it).
“That’s great!” Cloe smiled back at him. “Do you have time to meet now? Just, like, to a coffee shop or the library. We can hash out the basics and what everyone should research before we meet up again the next time.”
“Sure. I could almost always use a coffee,” Danny said as he shoved his aging laptop in his backpack.
“Yeah, we can kinda tell with the…” Fara pointed at her own face, finger circling around her eyes.
Danny barked out a surprised laugh when Cloe let out an affronted “Fara!”
“Hey, I’ve been cultivating these dark circles since high school. They’re like fine wine,” Danny said. Snarky he knew how to handle.
“Oh, José will like you,” Fara said with a laugh. She linked arms with Danny and practically dragged him towards the door. “José! I found you another coffee addict.”
“Thank you,” he praised, “because Cloe only drinks the most basic bitch drinks and Fara likes tea.”
“I make an exception for pumpkin spiced lattes and hot chocolate,” Fara said with coy smile.
“See? See what I have to put up with. Please, my dude— is it my dude?” Danny nodded in response. “My dude, please tell me you drink real coffee.”
“With as many espresso shots as they’re legally allowed to add,” Danny said.
“A man after my own heart— a heart that runs on coffee,” José said with a laugh as they all spilled out the front of the engineering building.
Maybe this presentation wouldn’t be so bad after all.
-
Okay, so maybe Danny was just really not used to being around people any more.
Really, really not used to it.
He’d only spent an hour or so with the other’s at the coffeeshop, but between that, class, picking up a treat for Jason, and just having to go back and forth throughout the city Danny felt his nerves crawling under his skin. Every noise from every apartment around was so loud. Even his fridge seemed to be screaming at him with its incessant whine.
And there was no where to get away from it.
If he went out, Danny would just be surrounded by the sounds and smells and lights of the city. People would jostle into him or sit too close on the bus and— Danny shuddered at the idea of being touched by strangers right then.
He rubbed his fingers against his palms as he shifted and tried to lay more comfortably on his small sofa. He had his t.v. on, streaming mindless video game play throughs, but he wasn’t really paying attention to it. It was just to try and block out some of the noise.
There were things about the city that he loved, sure. The access to food was great. There was an amazing variety in walking distance of his place or campus. He’d also found a few great stores— a game store and a second hand clothing shop were top of his list. It was great how there was always a distraction.
But there was always a distraction.
Nothing ever really stopped in the city. That constant hum, after a few weeks of it, was really getting to Danny. He hadn’t thought he was rural or anything, but Amity’s hundred thousand or so people never prepared him for living here.
He closed his eyes and made himself take a slow breath.
Jason was going to show him some places around the city today.
He had to get a handle on himself before then.
He’d been trying for an hour now— or so his phone alerted him to when he checked it for the hundredth time. He laid it back on his chest and closed his eyes. When it started ringing a moment later he nearly jumped out of his skin.
‘Jason Calling’, it read. He fumbled to swipe the screen. “Hi.”
“Hey. My meeting wrapped early so I was going to head your way now if that’s good?”
Danny swallowed, trying to force back the buzzing under his skin. “Oh, um, yeah, sure.”
The line was silent for a pause. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
Jason snorted. “That’s a lie.”
Danny flung an arm over his eyes and forced himself to take another breath. “I guess, just… It’s stupid.”
“Fish.”
The endearment was more gentle than Danny felt he deserved. He was being stupid about this. Who struggled to be around people? And he wanted to see Jason too. It was just… everyone— everything else.
He could hear the sounds of the city on Jason’s end and tried to focus on his voice instead. “Come on fish, talk to me.”
“It’s just— being in the city all the time… it’s just getting to me a little, I guess. I’m not used it it. That’s all. I’ll be fine.”
Jason gave a considering hum. “Okay. Change of plans. Do you have a leather jacket?”
“What? No?”
“Okay. Are you up for one stop first? We’ll make it quick.”
“One stop before what?” Danny asked as he pulled himself up by the back of the couch.
“Before my new plan for the day.” Jason sounded smug.
“I don’t— we don’t have to—”
“Trust me, okay?”
It was such an earnest request that it brought Danny to pause. He swallowed once more before he found his voice. “Of course I will.”
“Good. Then I’ll see you in twenty. Go put on jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and some sturdy shoes.”
The abrupt end to the call had Danny blinking down at his phone before he pulled himself up to do as he was told.
-
Jason studied Danny as the other came out of his apartment building. He hadn’t liked how Danny sounded on the phone and he didn’t much like how Danny looked now. It was like the other had tucked all his loud, jagged, wonderful edges away. It was like he was hiding from the world.
Well, Jason would just have to fix that.
“Just one quick stop,” Jason said, handing Danny a helmet.
“I’m fine, you don’t have to ba—”
“Fish,” Jason said firmly. He waited until Danny was actually looking at him (not frowning at the ground) to continue. “It’s okay if you’re not okay. You don’t have to apologize to me or about it or about you. You can be not fine.”
Fuck he was sounding like his well meaning family now. Still, it got a wobbly smile from Danny, so maybe it was worth parroting back the words. The words didn’t always help, he knew that. They certainly didn’t fix stuff that he still struggled with some days, but they couldn’t hurt. It couldn’t hurt to be reminded that someone cared.
“Okay. One quick stop,” Danny agreed.
“Right,” Jason said. He turned and straddled his motorcycle. “You ever ridden before?”
“Yeah, actually I have. A friend has one.”
“Huh.” Jason was actually a little surprised by that. “Okay then hang on tight. We won’t be doing anything crazy in the city, but we might have to stop quickly. Some drivers are jackasses about motorcycles.”
The bike dipped under him as Danny settled on behind him. There was an obvious moment of hesitation before Danny let himself slide forward. As Danny settled along his back, Jason had a thought of how well Danny fit. He briefly squeezed the arms wrapped around his waist in notice before he started his bike up and they took off through the city.
The one quick stop was to get Danny a riding jacket and gloves; Jason wanted to be sure that Danny would be warm and, more importantly, protected on the drive. As it was, Jason drove more cautiously than normal, very aware that Danny’s safety was in his hands.
It wasn’t long to the store, and he tried to make sure the shopping didn’t take too long. He could practically see Danny’s edges fraying. He did make Danny try on several jackets, even if he tried to make sure they didn’t linger, so that Danny could find the right one.
“Are you sure this is it?” Danny asked, tugging on the hem of the black leather jacket. It had a bit of a retro cut, but there was enough modern padding that if Danny fell off the road rash wouldn’t be that bad. Besides, Danny looked good in it; it cinched nicely at his waist and fit his shoulder snugly.
“Yep,” Jason said. He reached out and smacked Danny’s hand away when he tried to take a peak at the price tag again. “Stop that. I already told you I’m buying.”
“Jason—”
“Just accept it. Give me the jacket and go pick out some gloves,” he said.
Danny rolled his eyes, but shrugged off the jacket and handed it over. Jason took the moment to explain the mater to the sales person, who was cooperative about not saying the total out loud. The knowing smirk was a bit weird though. It even had Danny glancing at Jason suspiciously, but they got out of the store with what was needed and Danny none the wiser to what a good motorcycle jacket could cost.
Jason took the time to sync up both helmets so that they could talk on the ride if they wanted to, but he left the matter to Danny. It turned out to be mostly silent once they left the city, especially since Jason wasn’t explaining where they were going. The longer they were on the open roads, the more that Jason could feel Danny relaxing against his back until. Finally he settled in and rested his head against Jason’s shoulder blade.
“Thank you.”
“Ain’t seen nothing yet,” Jason rumbled back.
Danny just answered with a soft hum before he fell silent again.
Jason took them on the highway, down some side streets just for the view, and through a smaller city to the more secluded parking lot that he knew about. He could feel Danny freeze up behind him, and chuckled as he pulled off his own helmet. Danny did the same as he stumbled off the bike.
“Come on,” Jason said. He practically had to guide Danny down the path and to the top of the first bluff where the concrete ended.
Danny let out a breath exhale. “Oh, wow.”
His mouth hung slightly open as he stared out at the crashing waves and the beach that stretched out before them. A cloudy fall day wasn’t exactly the best time to visit the coast (not that they were the only ones doing so), but Danny still stared at it like it was the best thing he’d seen in a long time.
He stared at it like it gave him life.
Jason found he wanted— suddenly and fiercely— to find a million more moments that would bring that same spark to Danny’s eyes. He didn’t want Danny to stop living just because he had died.
Jason didn’t want to stop living just because he had died.
Not anymore.
He reached down to undo the knots on his boots with Danny scrambling to do the same. Laces tied together, Jason slung the boots across his shoulders and made his way onto the beach. He reached out to help balance Danny as he stumbled a little on the soft white sand.
When they had gotten to the edge of the water, Jason hung back slightly in the damp, but not wet, sand while Danny, with all of his normal abandon, rolled up his pants legs and barreled into the waves with a whoop. He ran in and out of the surf like one of those sand piper birds as the wind whipped his dark hair around his face like a storm of shadows.
Laughing as he was chased by a larger swell of water, Danny stumbled back to Jason’s side. He took a deep breath, filling his lungs with salt air, and then just slumped heavily against Jason like he was boneless. Jason took the weight easily.
Jason grinned down at Danny, who’s eyes were still locked on the water. “Worth the trip?”
“Yeah. Yeah, worth the trip. Completely. Thank you Jason.”
“’Course. Gotta get the fish to water now and then.”
“Shut up, dead boy.” Danny rolled his eyes, but his grin didn’t drop for a second.
Jason chuckled, but found he didn’t  need to say anything back. He was content to just watch Danny watch the ocean.

AN: Finally an update for you all~ ngl, there are some rough spots I'm not entirely happy with, I feel you can really tell what I wrote when I was feeling really, really poorly. But that's what a re-write is for, I guess!
The classmates won't show up too much, but I needed an outside perspective and to show Danny is settling in- even if he's struggling with some things.
Apologies for any typos, I currently want to melon ball my eye out from this migraine so you know, words are hard. Anywho, stay delightful, darlings!

Hi! New follower here!
I don’t really know what you write for but I thought I’d ‘shoot my shot’! 😂
Do you think you could write ✨something✨ for a dbd? Like the killers (or at least Ghostface because I love him lol) meeting a new member who completely dominates the maps?
Like he/she/they/we know our way around the maps, know how to get away and even mess with the killers before getting away to safety.
(I’m basing this idea like a former player of the game just spawning into a game in the entity’s realm and just enjoying the whole experience, even if the occasional ✨hit✨ is unavoidable)
If not I completely understand, keep up the good work!! ❤️
Hello! I am so sorry for not seeing this earlier! Of course I can do this, I added some other killers to it too, I hope you like it!
Danny Johnson (Ghostface)
💀 You think you dominate the maps? Yeah, you might. But he knows them the best.
💀 You navigate through the maps, knowing them better than your own house. But suddenly Danny jumps out from around the corner.
💀 "Did you really think I didn't study those maps all these years I've been here? How cute!" He aims for your chest but you manage to dodge his attack, earning a cut across your arm.
💀 "Shit-" You run as fast as you can knowing your way around the MacMillan Estate. Now someone just needs to open that stupid exit gate, so you all can escape! Danny hasn't even killed one yet, what is up with him today?
💀 The siren blares and the timer starts to run down. Quickly you make your way across the map and finally reach the opened exit gate, the way to freedom - for now.
💀 Just as you want to get to the sweet exit gate, Danny suddenly jumps out from behind a bush, tackling you down. You're now laying on your back, Danny is sitting on your stomach.
💀 You can't see it but he is grinning behind his mask. "Not so snarky now, are we?" He puts his knife to your cheek, slowly digging the sharp blade to it, drawing blood.
💀 "Goodbye, toots. You gotta study a little bit more if you want to handle me!" With that, he plunges his knife into your chest multiple times. Just before everything goes black he lifts his mask a little above his mouth, pressing a little kiss to your cheek. "See you!~"
Frank Morrison (Legion)
🎭 Frank gets tired after a few minutes of chasing you around the Yamaoka Estate. How the hell are you even that good?!
🎭 He gives up and just lets you run away. But this made you turn and look at him. "What? Are you tired?" You giggle waiting for his reaction.
🎭 Frank angrily turns towards you, gripping his knife tightly in his hand. "Shut the fuck up, you asshole! Just fucking get lost! You should be grateful that I'm not killing you on the spot!"
🎭 You shake your head. "I'm just too good at looping you. You're too slow."
🎭 Frank grunts and suddenly goes into frenzy mode. He lunges forward but you quickly loop him again, making him yell in frustration.
🎭 "I will fucking get you next time, twat!" He angrily walks off, not bother to chase you again for the remaining trial.
Max Thompson Jr. (Hillbilly)
⚒️ Max is angry. And sad. And frustrated. And doubts his abilities as a killer. Just because of you!
⚒️ As soon as he sees you're in a trial with him, he ignores you completely. He won't give in to the annoying clicking sounds of your flashlight or to you hopping in and out of a locker to make him come to you.
⚒️ You know your way around every map imaginable. Even when he's tunneling you it's a rare occasion when he actually lands a hit.
⚒️ Like I said, he starts to ignore you. He doesn't care if he displeases the Entity by not sacrificing you. He'd rather be punished than to put up with you looping him the whole time and dropping pallets on his head (his head already hurts!).
⚒️ If he sees you at the exit gates, he SOMETIMES tries a chainsaw attack but you dodge it as always.
⚒️ He's trying his best, but you're just way too good.
Me re-reading this realizing it's so bad because I didn't write a fanfiction in AGES:

Also. I am now part of the CoD community. Ghost and König got my heart. And Soap too. Oh my god, did y'all know how König is austrian?? It's so funny because I'm austrian too?? Like whaaaaaat. Anyways, feel free to send asks, inbox is open! Love youuuu ❤️✨

Listen, I know I have like 8008 wips right now but we don’t need to talk about that. What we do need to talk about is Janny angst, and I’m here to supply in the form of Jake confessing to Danny at a Halloween party and Danny not knowing how to respond. Hope you enjoy!
Pairings: Jake Kiszka X Danny Wagner *slasher
Warnings and tags: 18+ only! Please consider all of my work to not be suitable for minors at this point, unrequited love, angst, Halloween party, brief mentions of sexual activity (Sam and OC), drinking, making decisions while under the influence, sharing a bed, literally one singular kiss
Word count: 2.7k
I’m sorry Jake, but I don’t think I can like you that way.
His response rattled around in his head for the rest of the evening while the rest of the party raged on around him. Why did he say that of all things? Honestly, it was the best excuse he could think of on the spot.
Jake had just caught him off guard. Didn’t corner him or anything, didn’t speak in a way that made Danny feel like this was actually a big deal or not. Danny couldn’t help but keep replaying the interaction over in his mind, thinking of ways he could have responded differently. It got to the point he couldn’t even decipher which memory was real anymore or which was just a scenario hoping for a better outcome.
It had been nearly three hours ago. Danny was the first one to arrive, having brought over some last minute things Sam had text him to pick up on his way. Jake answered the door, quickly offering to take some of the many shopping bags Danny held in his hands and brought them along to the kitchen.
“Where’s Sam?” Danny asked immediately, not thinking anything of it.
Jake’s brows furrowed for only a second, or had they? Danny wasn’t exactly sure now that he tried to recall each detail.
“He went to go pick up Cheyanne” Jake answered as he started to dig into the bags.
“So he expects us to just set up his own party for him?” Danny scoffed, and he did remember the way Jake cracked a smile. Jake always smiled when he said something snarky or witty.
It wasn’t long after they finished setting everything out. They were just waiting around for more people to show up, or Sam and his girlfriend to make it back. Danny was on his phone leaning against the island in the kitchen when Jake slowly approached and placed his hands on top of the granite across from him.
He knew Jake didn’t just come outright and say it, but how the conversation started exactly alluded him now. First Jake asked him if he’d been seeing anyone interesting lately, and Danny simply answered no without looking up from his phone. How could he when the band kept him so busy? He was surprised Josh and Sam found the time to date, but then again even though they put a lot of effort into it the band just didn’t mean the same thing to them as it did him and Jake. Even when they weren’t rehearsing they were constantly messaging each other, sending back and forth clips of chords they were working on together.
When Jake finally worked up the courage to ask him, Danny thought for a moment that he couldn’t be serious.
“Would you want to hang out sometime? Go, I don’t know, see a movie or something?”
“Sure,” Danny finally locked his phone and stuffed it back into his pocket. “I thought you didn’t like movie theaters though?”
Jake might have blushed at that point, his fingers idly poking at the flakes of quartz sealed into the countertop. “I mean, that’s usually where you go when asking someone out on a date, so”.
“Oh”. Danny stood up straight, blinking a few times as he watched Jake for any sort of indication that he was just joking. It was hard to take him seriously when he was standing there in his Halloween costume, dressed as a pirate with the flowy blouse exposing the chains that adorned his chest, and a bandana tied around his freshly trimmed shoulder length waves still a little damp from the shower. Danny felt silly himself when he left his house in his cowboy get up, almost forgetting his hat in the passenger seat of his car because he didn’t want to wear it in the grocery store.
“Can we talk about this later?” That was one of the responses he could have given, but he knew that would have only made Jake’s anxiety spike. He chose to ask him now, who knows how long he had already been waiting?
He watched as a few different expressions flashed across Jake’s features before finally settling on something Danny was unable to read. “Is it Sam?”
“What?” Danny questioned a little defensively. “Sam is with Chey”.
“I know he is” Jake quickly continued, “but just knowing someone is off limits doesn’t stop you from feeling certain ways”.
Danny got his double meaning. Jake must’ve known there was a lot riding on this, but he chose to ask anyway. It made Danny’s heart pound even now as he thought back on it. If it were him in Jake’s shoes, he didn’t know if he would have been able to do it.
Jake finally accepted his answer and they awkwardly agreed that this didn’t need to change anything between them, they could just go back to being close friends, band mates, until Sam and Josh bound through the front door.
The party only got more and more loud and unruly as more and more people showed up, crowding every room on the ground floor of the townhouse. Danny stood idly by in the living room, having been abandoned in his conversation with Sam as he made out with his girlfriend on the couch.
He sighed and left for the kitchen to make another drink, not really feeling the party after the whirlwind of emotions from earlier. Jake had made himself scarce, no doubt hiding out on the back patio where it had to be quieter. Going to find him drifted through his mind, but he figured that probably wasn’t the best solution to his boredom considering the way they’d left things. If only there was a way he could go back and say something else. Anything else.
The statement wasn’t a lie, but it wasn’t exactly the truth either. Danny didn’t know if he could like Jake that way because he had never thought about it before. Now though, now that he knew how Jake felt it sparked a tingling inside him. Like the time when he played his first successful copy riff on the guitar, or when he was asked to join the band.
When he returned to the living room, Jake had emerged. His was the first presence Danny caught from across the room despite his small size. Jake quickly shifted his gaze to avoid eye contact, but he continued to smile softly as he listened to the person in front of him talking.
Danny wanted to make his way across, past the couch with the happy couple still on it, and join in on the conversation but instead he kept his distance. Continuously he found himself looking back in Jake’s direction though, who didn’t once glance his way again. Or if he did sneak a peak Danny didn’t notice, but that seemed unlikely considering the amount of times he had his eyes on the other man.
Finally after midnight the house started to clear out and the familiar quiet of Sam’s place returned. With the living room at least a little picked up Danny decided to call it a night and climbed the stairs to retrieve his change in clothes and toothbrush from Sam’s room, but inches away from the door he heard what was inside. Soft moans, the repetitive squeaking of a mattress in motion.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me” Danny whispered with a groan, leaning his head back against the far fall and staring at the door in frustration.
Seconds later, the door to the upstairs bathroom creaked open and out stepped Jake in his pajamas with rings of smeared eyeliner still clinging to his waterline.
“Hey” Danny waved, trying not to scare him.
Jake jumped anyway, having expected everyone to have gone home by now.
“What ar-”
Danny cut him off with a finger to his lips, then pointed at Sam’s door. “My things are in there”.
Still clutching his chest, Jake’s eyes darted over, then he heard it too. “Oh”.
His voice came out in a matching hushed tone now. “Were you supposed to be crashing here?”
“Yeah, I’m just going to sleep on the couch downstairs. Would’ve liked to change and brush my teeth first though”. Danny’s tongue ran across the face of his teeth, feeling the sugary coating of all the mixed drinks he’d consumed throughout the night sticking to their surface. He pushed off the wall and started to walk towards Jake who instinctively backed away. “Guess I’ll just find some mouthwash in the bathroom or something”.
Jake stepped aside and allowed him to pass, their shoulders bumping slightly in the narrow hallway. After swishing with a nearly empty bottle of Listerine and washing his face with some cool water from the sink, Danny shut off the light to the bathroom and gave up on trying to retrieve any of his items from Sam’s room. For a brief moment he debated on just trying to go home, but he had definitely had a few too many ‘beverages’ as Josh liked to call it to believe it was safe. He snuck his way back down the hallway, trying not to disturb any of the rooms’ occupants, but when he reached the top of the stairs he heard a door creaking open.
“Danny” a voice carried through the dark. It wasn’t Sam, he usually preferred to use his full name for whatever reason.
Danny turned to see Jake standing in the hallway again, waiting until he had his attention to disappear back into his room again only to pop back out with a stack of clothes. “These should work for the night”.
“Thanks” Danny graciously took the shirt and pants, examining them in his hands, they certainly looked comfier than his silly western jeans and button up.
“I’m sorry, the couch downstairs is really uncomfortable” Jake folded one of his arms across his chest, his hand gripping just above his elbow.
Danny thought back on how Sam and his girlfriend had spent most of the night making out there before deciding to take it further in the bedroom. He shuddered at the thought of trying to stretch out in the same place, that paired with all the other thoughts he already had racing around up there meant it was likely to be a long night. “Yeah, I don’t really expect to get much sleep”.
He could tell Jake was running through scenarios in his own head now, internally trying to calculate what his next move would be, until finally he spoke again. “You don’t have to, I wouldn’t be hurt at all if you said no, but if you wanted, I mean I have a king size bed so…”. His words came out in a stumbling slur, like every which way he had thought of asking jumbled together into one hardly coherent sentence.
“Umm” Danny gathered enough to understand what it was Jake was offering, and usually he wouldn’t think anything of sharing a bed with a friend, but after earlier he stopped to consider how that might translate.
“It doesn’t have to be weird or anything” Jake added, “I’ll stay on one side. I have an extra blanket. Just don’t want to see you suffering down there”.
It warmed Danny’s heart to see how much Jake cared, even with the reveal of his hidden feelings, Jake was always a generous person. He liked caring for people, and Danny trusted that this was just another example of how Jake always looked out after him.
“Yeah, alright, guess it would be nice to actually get some sleep”.
Jake nodded and Danny followed him into his room. He hadn’t been staying with Sam for long, ever since Josh and his partner got serious and he offered to move out so they could have a bit more privacy. For now he was living in Sam’s spare bedroom because it didn’t make sense to sign a lease anywhere right before they were about to go on another long stint of touring.
Danny looked around, even with the short amount of time he’d been here the space already felt unique to him. Guitars were scattered about, some on stands and some just propped up against the wall or dresser. He watched as Jake made his way back to his side of the bed, the covers pulled back like he’d been waiting to hear Danny emerge from the bathroom, and then he realized he still needed to change.
Jake picked up the book he’d turned over on the page he was at and stuffed his bookmark inside before setting it on his nightstand and clicking the small lamp off. He crawled back into bed but looked up to see Danny frozen in place staring down at the clothes in his arms.
Oh god. He doesn’t feel comfortable around me anymore. Jake beat himself up, not exactly regretting trying to make his move, but still worried Danny might act differently around him now, and not in a good way. Trying to pretend like he didn’t notice Danny’s hesitance, Jake shifted down into a lying position, tucking his hand underneath his head and closing his eyes to try and feign sleep.
After a few minutes and the quiet rustling of clothing, the bed beside him dipped and he felt Danny lay down next to him.
It wasn’t the first time they had shared a bed, more than likely wouldn’t be close to the last either. Certainly, it also wasn’t the first time Jake felt his heart fluttering at the thought of how close Danny was, yet still so far away.
Time passed slowly, Jake could feel the seconds ticking on with each thump against his chest. He squeezed his eyes closed tighter, trying to resist the urge to open them and check to see if Danny was still awake too. His answer came in the form of a warm hand sliding across the sheets, stopping just a mere centimeter from where his head rested on his pillow.
Jake dared a look, and when he did he was met with the overwhelming sight of Danny’s radiant irises. Greens bursting from brown in a way that captivated anyone who got close enough to witness their magic first hand. And captivated Jake was.
“Danny I-” Jake attempted to correct whatever it was that had settled between them. He couldn’t apologize for his feelings, but he could at least attempt to explain himself in a way that Danny might understand.
That was all cut short though, because Danny’s hand reached further, coming to rest on Jake’s cheek. Danny inched closer in the bed, waiting a moment for any signs of reservations from Jake who was caught frozen in his touch.
Without another word muttered between them Danny leaned in and pressed their lips together. It was an odd feeling at first. He had never kissed another man before, not that he had anything against it. But kissing Jake? Even he was shocked at his actions.
Jake parted his lips slightly to let out a content exhale and slotted Danny's bottom lip between his own. He took command of the kiss, knowing full well that Danny was probably still feeling lingering effects from the alcohol. Should he have instigated a more intense kiss in return? The answer was definitely not, but Jake feared this might be his only chance to feel what it was like to have his feelings reciprocated, so he greedily took all he could get.
In an instant Jake stole Danny’s breath, and in the same aching heartbeat Danny pulled away.
They laid there in silence, staring at each other through the dark as they both searched each other’s eyes for the answers to their unspoken questions.
Even if those answers were to remain shrouded in the darkness of this bedroom, they would always share this moment. Jake clung on to that sentiment as he closed his eyes again, forcing his breathing to steady out and for sleep to pull him under.
“Good night Jake” Danny whispered in the end, leaving it to fate to decide whether or not Jake heard him.

Forget Me Not
Tumblr media
A/N: Danny boy. Lovely Danny boy. I mean just look at that man. How could you not love him? Enemies to lovers and smut, what more could you want? I know this one is a bit shorter than what I normally produce, but I assure you longer fics with Danny are on their way. As always let me know what you guys think and enjoy!
Warnings: SMUT. DNI if under 18. 18+ content only.
Word Count: 8.5k+
True love is a false connotation made up by fairytale authors and movie directors to get people to buy their books and see their films. In reality, no one ever truly meets their “soulmate” that fate sent to them that has been concocted by the heavens to be the perfect piece of the missing portion of their heart. Come on, really? Who the hell buys into that?
Plenty of people, actually. The dreamers of the world. The individuals who will never stop the search until they feel like they’ve met the one. Which is obviously working as divorce rates sky rocket across the world. Yeah, totally working.
It’s the realists who keep themselves grounded to the real world. Not falsifying some ridiculous notion that every person is going to be perfectly matched. Because it’s simply not true. Most people end up settling for what they get, even if it’s not what they deserve. Making all of these ideas about what they could be like, seeing them fall short of it, and being upset by it.
Nope, not for you. You knew that the cream of the crop wasn’t what your dating pool would ever look like. Getting the best selection of people possible that you could hand pick from the sea of lovers that so desperately wanted you for their own. It made you snort just thinking about it.
Of course, this isn’t 100% true for everyone, but it was true for you. Taking what you could get because you just assumed that this was as good as it was going to get. That these were the cards dealt by the universe and this was what you deserved.
Now, your best friends on the other hand had no such fate as your own. They were the epitome of having the best of the best to choose from. That’s what having a leg up in the world did for you. Being literal rock stars worked in favor for you. Not a thing to worry about because if you didn’t like who was in your lap now, in a split second you could have something else.
Two of the four didn’t fit into that category. Sam and Jake had seemingly found their person and were content with where they were. Danny was whoring around the world and was constantly invoking eyerolls from your end at the sheer ridiculousness of it and the tales he would share within your earshot. Sweet Josh was so happy by himself that he was galvanting his singleness around, enjoying being alone before he eventually fell into something with someone.
Three of the four you were extremely overjoyed for. The Kiszka boys would always hold a special place in your heart. The other one? Not really. You weren’t even sure where and when it had started, but it was just the foundation your “relationship” was built on. The snarky, sarcastic, annoyed moods just seemed to wash over you whenever he entered the room.
He was the same with you, too. It wasn’t one sided in the least. If you dished it out, he was giving it right back. For some reason, it was just how you two were with one another. You didn’t challenge it.
Danny wanted nothing more than to challenge it. He despised this idea of a “relationship” with you. In fact, it drove him mad. He wasn’t the type of guy to openly express his feelings and maybe he had missed the turn to be able to do so with you, but now he was in a permanent purgatory hellscape of dealing with this.
Yet, he would take the shitty interactions because at least it was that. An interaction. A tiny sliver of a conversation with you. A way to have some form of communication with you. As long as he got to speak directly to you, he would put up with it. What he didn’t want to put up with however, was the douchebag that is Connor.
The entire group hated the guy. He was a downright asshole that you had been dating for over eight months. All of the time they had spent time with him was a reminder of how much the guy just sucked. Not to mention he treated you like absolute garbage, so much so that it drove everyone up the goddamn walls each time he opened his mouth to speak to you.
No one could figure out why you put up with it. Knowing that there was someone, something better for you out there. You didn’t believe that. Connor was who the universe had put in your path for whatever reason so that’s who you stuck it out with. True love wasn’t a thing. You wouldn’t buy into the fantasy.
After another incredibly tough evening out with the entire group, douche canoe in tow, Danny sat on Josh’s couch, nursing a hangover. Entirely veering off from the conversation they had been having just moments before about the night out, Danny cut Josh off mid sentence. “Why is goldie still with him? Haven’t you said anything to her? Did you see how he made her go to the bar each time he wanted another drink? And she paid each time!”
The nickname that had been donned on you when you fell into an obsession with the Golden Girls in middle school, never wanting to watch anything else, was regularly used by the group. Only ever spoken with fondness. Unless Danny was using it to address you directly.
Josh plopped down next to him, shrugging at his concerns. “Listen, I’ve talked to her. More than once and I have reached a conclusion that I think everyone else has as well. It’s her life. She is actively choosing to stay with him no matter how much it sucks ass. I have said my peace to her regarding it. Now, I stay out of it. She’s a big girl and when she tires of it she’ll leave.”
He didn’t like that answer, playing with the coffee mug in his hands. “Yeah and what if she doesn’t?” Josh loosed a deep breath and gave a beaming smile to his brother. “Then we plaster big ass smiles to our fucking faces and suck it up because that’s what she’s chosen.”
Were you aware of how terrible Connor truly was? Yes and no. Was he as bad as they made him out to be each time they brought it up to you? Of course not. Behind closed doors, he was sweet when he wanted to be, serious when he needed to be, and he was like having an old friend around. You were just fine with that.
Sure, there were times where he was more of a dick than normal, but everyone has their bad days. His just happened to be in front of your friend group more often than not. Which didn’t help your case. Like just a month ago, the entire group went out to a celebratory dinner for the boys having completed their latest album.
Everyone dressed up to the nines, went to the fanciest restaurant you guys could find, and wined and dined all evening. It was a blast. Being able to take part in celebrating another job well done for your nearest and dearest friends. It was a small celebration for you as well, just a small secret whispered between you and your partner.
You had been offered a new position at work that was bundled with a significant pay raise and an office. You were going to have your own office which had you giddy with excitement. But because you didn’t want to undermine the boys and their evening, you kept it amongst yourselves.
Connor even offered to pay your share of the bill for the evening. As the toast of the evening was spoken by Josh, beaming with pride at his siblings, you felt like your face was going to be permanently stretched this wide with the smile you had adorned all evening.
When Josh went to take his seat, Connor stood from his. Your eyes widened, trying to pull him back down, but he shushed you. With your face burning from embarrassment, he started. “I just want to also offer my congratulations to you guys, but to goldie girl as well.” Everyone's faces contorted with confusion, looking upon you. Danny was seated right across from you and you couldn’t bring yourself to look into his eyes.
“She was offered an enormous promotion at work that she accepted, of course! What were, oh you said that there was something you were stoked for. What was it?” He nudged you as you forced a smile to your face. “An office,” he snapped his fingers as you had spoken so quietly no one had really heard.
“An office! Yes, but the most important part is that she was offered a huge chunk of change. Big ass pay raise.” You wanted to absorb into the floor, not wanting the attention to be on you tonight, but everyone cheered for you. Waving everyone off, you tried to tamp it down. “I’m sorry, I didn’t want to share that tonight. Tonight’s about you guys!”
Josh had rounded the table, slinging an arm around you, kissing your cheek from behind. “Nonsense! We are celebrating all that this wonderful life has to offer and that includes our goldie girl.” You felt a real smile creep back on your lips at his words. Patting his arm, you leaned into the embrace, thanking everyone.
As the server came back to the table, handing out the assortment of billfolds, yours was handed to Connor. Chatter amongst the group meant attention was elsewhere, but Danny was watching. Always watching. Observing how Connor patted every pocket he had before looking at you with a sheepish look.
“Baby, I’m so sorry. I forgot my wallet,” your eyes bugged out at him, picking up the bill and seeing the total. “Connor, you said you had this.” You two were on the brink of a massive fight as you slid your credit card into the billfold, holding a hand up to him to get him to stop talking, but he took it a step further, speaking louder.
“God, I make one fucking mistake and suddenly the entire world caves in. We were having such a great night and there you go ruining it. You have got to be kidding me,” he rolled his eyes with a scoff, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back in his chair.
Your eyes were nearly bugging out of your head at his reaction, intense shame pummeling you at his words. You gave everyone a weary smile, quietly excusing yourself from the table, and walking out of the private room they had booked. When Danny went to speak, blood boiling, Josh cut him off, knowing the look in his eyes.
“I think that is our cue.” Everyone stood from the table, silently shuffling out of the room, but Danny hung back, finally being alone with the boyfriend. Danny took your credit card out of the billfold, handing it back to him in silence, checking the total, and leaving cash in place.
He took a deep breath, locking eyes with him. “You’re welcome.” Connor chuckled under his breath, not having stood from his seat, eyeing the drummer. “Ah, okay. Mr. Hero comes and saves the day for her. I see how it is, dude.”
Danny gave a tight lipped smile, patting him on his shoulder as he left. “Don’t call me dude.” When he walked out of the restaurant, he saw you profusely apologizing to his brothers for Connor having ruined the night. Your hands were held by Josh’s, him giving reassuring squeezes before pulling you into a large hug.
Josh kissed the side of your head, pulling back when your boyfriend walked out and saw you. You looked right past Danny to him, narrowing your eyes and turning on your heel, and storming off to where you had parked the car. Danny cast a glance at the man, seeing as he stood still to his spot.
“Do not let her walk alone to the car this late. Go,” Danny cocked his head in the direction you had walked off. Connor wanted to fight against his natural instinct to stay and let you deal with it, but with the intensity of Danny’s stare, he stalked off.
That was just one example of that.
It was earlier in the relationship when you had invited Connor to go to a bar you all loved to frequent together, wanting him to get to know everyone a little better. He agreed, but the entire evening all he had done was trash talk the place you all looked at as a second home.
Rolling your eyes as he walked off to get another drink, you stirred your straw in your glass, pissed that he wasn’t even making an effort. Sam chuckled as he faced you. “Damn, tough crowd to please, huh?” You groaned, letting your head fall to your hand. “Sorry.” Was all you mumbled out, Josh rubbing your back.
You hardly saw Connor for the rest of the night. With the group continuing to disperse throughout the building, you sat at your designated booth, sipping your fruity drink with a pout on your lips. Danny took the seat next to you, but you shot a glare his way.
“What do you want?” You spoke out around the straw in your mouth. “Ah, just coming to check on my favorite lonely girl.” Your face went up in disgust at the words, but he still had that sly smirk plastered to his face.
After not having seen Connor all night, your eyes finally found him. Leaning against the far end of the bar, back to you as he chatted with a girl. Her tits were sticking so far out of her shirt you could’ve sworn her areolas were visible.
Danny’s gaze followed yours and took in a short breath, sipping his drink before he spoke. “Oh, there’s the asswipe! Over there flirting with TitsMcGee. Real nice,” you only shrugged, trying to play it off. “We haven’t had the seeing other people talk yet so it’s fine.”
His eyes narrowed at you, chin tipping down to give you a look that all but said yeah okay whatever you say. Grunting, you slid out of the booth, flipping him off. “Whatever, I don’t owe you an explanation.”
Grumbling under your breath, you found Josh and leaned your head on his arm as he played a round of pool with Jake, waiting for his turn against the wall. His chest tightened with envy at the motion, wanting nothing more than to be in the place of Josh.
Instead, he moved over to where Connor stood, clapping a hand roughly on his shoulder and speaking in his ear. “Hey, Connor! Don’t know if you remember or not, but you didn’t come here alone. Remember her?” He pointed over in your direction, beer bottle still in hand as he did.
The girl's face went into shock as she eyed him. “You didn’t tell me you were with someone. Pig,” she said as she hurried off. Connor turned to face Danny, not near his looming height, but attitude ready to match his. “Look, dude, I was just talking with her. No harm done,” Danny’s fake smile was still on his lips.
“Course not. Now, go stand by your girlfriend for the rest of the night and keep her company.” Connor rolled his eyes, colliding with Danny’s arm for a hard hit as he went to move past him. Danny caught the same arm, speaking with a chillingly calm tone, “And don’t call me dude.”
Danny despised how your face lit up as Connor approached you, letting him wrap an arm around you. Claiming you from him. It took every ounce of patience he had to reapproach the group, taking a round of pool with Sam.
All you wanted was for everyone to get along. That’s why you invited Connor’s friend group to a kickback at Josh’s, wanting to get to know them better because despite having been dating for four months, you had only briefly met them once. Josh was all for getting to know Connor’s friends, insisting that they attend.
What you didn’t expect was for the night to go so poorly that Connor’s friends were literally kicked out of Josh’s home and told they were not welcome back. You hadn’t really been near them that night, but when you had been they didn’t make much of an effort to talk with you. It was mainly awkward, but it always was when you were meeting new people.
That’s why when you watched as Josh escorted the group to the front door from the backyard, you had no idea what had happened. Pestering Josh, he refused to say. Which was only further indication that whatever it was, had been so offensive, Josh had kicked them out.
Josh!
It wasn’t brought up again and you never took the initiative to invite them over when the group would hang out. Not worth the uncomfortable tension. Instead, you tried to keep things separate to the best of your ability.
That was one of the main reasons no one really brought up the fact that they utterly despised your partner of choice, but it was brought up one afternoon as you lounged on Josh’s couch. He was sitting on the opposite end of the long sectional, pursuing his phone, but pulled your attention when he suddenly remembered something.
“I totally forgot to tell you.” Your head lazily turned in his direction, not entirely interested in what he was saying, honestly too high to be dealing with anything. “Danny was pissed off about how Connor acted the other night at the bar.” Your brow furrowed, slightly sitting up at his words. “Huh?”
He tossed his phone down, attention fixating on the television, but nodded. “Oh yeah. You should’ve heard the rant he went on about the guy. He hates him,” since Josh was also partaking in vaping with you this afternoon, he fell into a mess of laughter beside you as his words tapered off.
It left you puzzled for the rest of the day. If there was anyone you wouldn’t assume cared about Connor, it was most definitely Danny. You had never seen them interact honestly. How could he hate him? Typical Danny. Making a decision before even knowing all the facts or, in this case, the person.
This was just one of the reasons why you didn’t particularly enjoy Danny’s company. There had been plenty of interactions that only confirmed your disregard for the boy was well warranted. For example, the time at the studio when you had touched his drums.
The boys had been recording, inviting you along for the Sunday session, but you were utterly bored. You weren’t sure where they had ventured off to, but a small break had you wandering into the recording booth where Josh stood, checking over the lyrics and notes.
You snickered, going over to the drummer's stool and sitting. “Hey look. I’m Danny,” taking the poses he often did as he played, Josh was giggling as he watched you. His eyebrows shot up though, quickly telling you to get off the seat as the door opened. Danny’s eyes went wide as he saw you standing from his seat.
“What-what are you doing? Are you fucking kidding me? Do you have any idea how long it takes me to get this set up just right for recording” He shoved past you, anger coursing through him at your careless actions. Which in your mind weren’t careless at all.
You crossed your arms, eyeing him at his overdramatic breakdown which was for naught. “Relax, all I did was sit in the seat and hold your sticks. That’s all. Josh can vouch for me that I didn’t touch your precious drums.” He shot daggers at you anyways, pushing hair out of his face as he readjusted his seat.
“Does she have to be here?” He asked directly to Josh, but you went to the boy, wrapping your arms around him and giving the biggest smile you could to Danny. “Of course. Josh always needs me here.” Batting your eyelashes at him, he rolled his eyes, mumbling under his breath at you as you went and took your seat once again.
Danny’s eyes never left you for the remainder of the day.
Your car was always something that everyone teased you for. It was an older car for sure, but you fully believed in using something until it absolutely could not do its job anymore. Your car was running just fine.
Did it sometimes stall out or break down in the middle of traffic? Very rarely. Today just happened to be one of those days. You groaned as you realized that you were going to have to get out and push it, cars honking behind you like that was going to help the situation.
When you got out, you were immediately met with his curly hair bouncing as he jogged over to where you stood next to your car. Shaking your head as he approached you, you turned away. “Alright, let’s push it.” You refused to look at him as he moved towards the back of the car.
“Fuck! Nope, no, it’s okay. I have a guy-someone coming,” Danny shot you an unamused look. “I’m not playing around, come on!” He shouted, but you didn’t want to give in by asking him for help because you knew he would just use it against you in the future.
Scratching your head, you looked at him, hand shielding your eyes from the sun. “I got it. There's a gas station like a mile down, so don’t worry about it.” He didn’t wait for you any longer, knowing you had already put the car in neutral, he began pushing much to your dismay.
You grumbled, helping him at your door, steering as you did. “When was the last time this piece of shit was serviced?” Danny asked, but you were focused on pushing. “Not that long ago! I know how to take care of my vehicle, thank you very much.”
A sarcastic laugh fell from him. “Yeah and that’s why your service sticker on your windshield says you were due months ago.” You ignored him, flipping him off in your mind. When you got the car to a safer spot, he already had his phone out requesting service.
Crossing your arms, you refused to look at him as he stood right next to you, blocking the sun from your vision. “You can go now.” You spoke out, looking at your shoes. His own arms mimicked yours. “You can say thank you, you know?”
Biting back a snarky return, you looked up at him with a fake smile, “Thank you.” His hand ruffled your hair, but you smacked it away with a groan. “Anytime, goldie.” He turned on his heel, heading back to his own car.
Danny sat and waited to ensure that a tow truck was actually on its way and when it had loaded your car, he finally left. Smiling to himself because he had gotten you to say thank you. Even if it was a sarcastic thank you, it was still a thanks.
Despite not giving him an actual thank you, you were grateful. You just couldn’t show it to him. The man who challenged you at every turn, every chance he could. Even with things that he knew you were best at. Like baking.
A dinner party put on by Jake and Jita which had a different style than normal had you signing up for dessert. Each course was to be cooked at the house, in order, by a different pair. A cooking and baking standoff. Of course, Danny had also signed up for dessert.
You scowled at him the entire time, especially when you both got to the kitchen to begin. His curls held up in a loose ponytail, some curls framing his face, sweater sleeves rolled up, you fought not to look at his arms.
When the fuck did Danny get built?
Pushing the thought out of your head, you went into competition mode. You and Danny rubbed elbows the entire time, you shoving him every once and awhile, telling him to move over because he was encroaching on your space.
As you waited for the dessert to exit the oven, you were making your icing and decorations. From the corner of your eye, you could see him watching you. When he bumped into you again, you almost lost it.
“I swear to god, if you knock into me one more time, I will hurt you.” Danny nodded at your words, grabbing a handful of flour and smiling at you. “Oh yeah? What if I were to do this?” He threw the flour directly at you, coating your face, hair, and apron. When you opened your eyes, he had that same stupid smirk on his face.
Jita entered the kitchen at the exact moment you went to grab the milk, immediately halting you. “No! Absolutely not in my kitchen.” The oncoming food fight halted right in its tracks at her words. Speaking through gritted teeth you eyed him. “Can you at least grab me a damp towel please?”
He nodded, moving towards the sink and grabbing a towel as he did. When the wet fabric slapped against your skin, drenching you in the process, you nearly lunged at him. Without any time to, your timer went off to grab your food from the oven.
As you removed yours, you smiled to yourself as you saw his still rising. Grabbing the handle, you pulled the door open, slamming it shut right after, and watching as his dessert entirely sank. Feeling satisfied with the retaliation, you turned and saw his jaw hanging.
“You just ruined my dessert!” You shrugged, feigning innocence at his words. “Oh my bad. I thought that was my oven.” Smirking as you decorated yours, plating it, and waltzing out of the kitchen, you placed the tray in the center of the table.
Oh’s and ah’s flowed around the room as you beamed at your creation. When Danny set his sad display down, you had to bite back a laugh. “Well, I think it’s safe to say that this one goes to goldie. Hardly even a competition,” Jake bellowed out, nearly choking on his own laughter.
You were walking on air the rest of the night. Danny was fine with the loss. He sat with a grimace the rest of the night, but only to play into the part. He knew he had no chance of winning, not against you. Why wouldn’t he have some fun with it?
That was the key to your group. Having fun. Anyways you guys could, that was the goal. That varied week by week, but tonight it meant everyone was curled up in Sam’s living room having a Shrek marathon. Snacks being passed around, you were sharing the floor space with Josh, splitting a milkshake, two incredibly long straws went to each other’s mouths.
Everyone wore pajamas, there were insane amounts of blankets and pillows just strewn about. Your hand grabbed some licorice, but as you bit into it, you watched as Sam’s head peeked from the edge of the couch to catch your gaze.
His finger poked your cheek as he smiled. “Your birthday is next week.” Batting his hand away you leaned back into your pillows. “What about it?” You mumbled as you chewed. “What’re we doing? Does Conrad have anything planned?”
Giving him an unamused look, you focused your attention back to the screen. “Connor and I’m not sure. He hasn’t said anything. I’m not a birthday person anyways, you know that.” He only hummed in response. Danny’s eyes were fixated on you from his side of the couch.
Trying to figure out what he could do for you for your birthday that was appropriate for the situation you two were in. Flaming bag of dog shit at your front door seemed about right. It was all he thought about the rest of the night.
When your birthday came the following week, you smiled as you woke up to calls and texts from family and friends sending you birthday wishes. This was just like any other day for you, the only difference was your free drink at Starbucks instead of having to pay for it. Continuing on with your normal day, you were slightly down as you checked your phone.
Not one message from Connor.
You were interrupted when one of the clerks came to your office, knocking on the door and pulling your attention to her. “Birthday girl has a delivery!” Brows furrowed in confusion, you followed her out.
There sat a tremendous bouquet of your favorite flowers. All of the office girls were giddy as they wanted to see the full extent of the gigantic vase and its fillings. Your cheeks burned as you thanked everyone and retreated back to your office. With the door shut soundly behind you, you pulled the card out and glowed at the message.
Only the best for the golden girl who has captured my heart. With all my love I wish you the happiest of birthdays, sweet girl.
No name signed. You clutched the card to your chest, feeling your heart rate heighten. You didn’t think Connor was capable of doing something like this. And here you were cursing him just minutes earlier for forgetting. Of course he wouldn’t forget.
Then why didn’t he call? All day you had sat waiting for something, anything. Yet it was radio silence all damn day. Like he would’ve sent you those flowers and not gloated about it. Not a chance.
When you crawled into bed on the verge of tears, you decided that you were too furious to even try and go to bed. You knew Josh had told you that he was going to be living at the studio that week to get some additional work done, so that’s where you headed.
Sorely upset when you barged into the building and seeing no one inside, you grabbed your phone to call him, but jumped when a voice sounded from behind you. “Hey, happy birthday.”
Glowering at him, you kept your eyes attached to your phone. “Yeah, not really. Do you know where Josh is, Danny?” He took a seat at the sound board with a groan. “Left a couple hours ago. What’s wrong? Why so glum, sugar plum?”
Another dirty look in his direction, you took the seat opposite of him. “Just want to talk to Josh is all.” He hummed in false deep thought. “Is that so?” Biting your tongue, you responded, “Yup.” Popping the “p” at the end of your abrupt response had him leaning forward.
“Cause what I’m guessing happened is Sir Jackass forgot your birthday. That’s why you’re here looking for Josh, right? To vent to him about how horrible your boyfriend is. How he could possibly forget such an important day.” Your nostrils flared at his words, staring at him through your eyelashes. “Shut the fuck up, Danny. I’m not in the mood.”
He leaned forward some more, catching your eye. “There’s a real simple solution to this problem, you know? Fucking leave the man. If you weren’t with him, you wouldn’t be going through this. Problem solved.” A bitter laugh bubbled up at his words.
“Don’t comment on something you have no knowledge on. Don’t you have a bimbo to go stick your dick in and leave me the fuck alone?” The blow didn’t harm him in the least, sliding by that comment all together. “Really, no knowledge? Yet, this seems to be a fairly regular occurrence. You need to treat yourself better. Do something about it instead of feeling bad for yourself.”
Anger licked at your veins, body temperature rising as you shot up from your seat, staring down at the boy. “Because Danny is just the be all end all of everything, right? You fucking know it all, don’t ya? You know, where do you get the goddamn balls to go sticking your nose in places it shouldn’t be?” He remained quiet, letting you get the hurt and anger out now. He would be your punching bag.
“Not everyone gets the cream of the crop to choose from, Danny! Not all of us have people falling at their feet just begging to have a chance. We are not the same.” He stood at the end, eyebrows shooting up.
Blinking up at him, you were rooted to your spot, ready for the challenge. His voice was low, not a hint of rage in his tone. “Maybe you need to take a look around. You might be surprised by what you see, goldie.”
You left the studio shaking with irritation and bewilderment. What the hell did that even mean? Take a look around. At what? At who? You spent the remainder of the week stewing on that. Trying to figure out what he had meant.
Josh had sent you a text one evening, telling you that on Saturday you needed to be at his place by seven that night. Entirely forgetting that your birthday had been that week, that your birthday was the cause of that blowout with Danny. Not piecing together why he had invited you over.
It was given away as you saw the million cars parked on his street, lights shutting off as you arrived. When you got to the front door you could clearly hear Josh shushing people, whisper yelling that you were at the door. Him being inebriated was obvious as well.
Bracing yourself for the group on the other side, you played into the game as you opened the door. “Hey, Josh! Oh man, why are the lights off?” Your monotone voice was comical as you flicked the lights on, being greeted with a large group. Everyone adorned birthday hats, kazoos, and drinks in hand.
Laughing, you saw Josh jumping for joy as he rushed you, sweeping you into his embrace. “Happy birthday, goldie!” Your thanks was muffled by giggles, starting to go around and thank everyone for coming. Entirely ignoring Danny whose face was anything but excited to be there, you went to grab a drink with Jake.
Connor wrapped his arms around you from behind, the smell of booze wafting off of him in waves. “Hap-happy birthday, baby.” Not wanting to make a scene, you let him hug you before lightly pushing him off. He made no other efforts to talk to you all night, instead finding home with a small group of his own friends.
Nudging Josh, you smirked. “Let them back into your home?” His rosy cheeks went up as his smile grew. “Just to get him to leave us alone for the night. As long as they don’t cause any problems, we’re good.” Your hand cupped his cheek, lightly pecking it before pulling him into another hug.
“Thank you for the party, Josh.” He chuckled, tightening you in his grasp, but spoke over the now booming music. “Well, you’re welcome, but it was mainly-” he was cut off by Jake grabbing you for a game of beer pong happening on the back porch.
The entire night was a blast. Just being surrounded by your closest friends had your mood improving tenfold as the evening carried on. Music was thumping, laughter echoing off the walls, and booze flowing freely. This was exactly how you wanted to celebrate your birthday.
Danny was a fly on the wall the entire time. In such a shit mood he didn’t want to be around anyone really. Despite seeing the gleaming smile you had worn all night, he was furious about what had happened a few nights ago. How did you not see it?
His thoughts were cut off as he overheard the ongoing conversation happening next to him. There Connor stood with his god awful friends, babbling incoherently, but the second your name fell from his lips, Danny was intently listening.
“Yeah man, she was fre-freaking out because I forgot her fuc-fucking birthday. What is she, five?” He was slurring his words and laughing through them as his friends egged him on, but without realizing it, Danny had entered their circle.
His grip tightened on the bottle in his hand, knuckles going white as he narrowed his eyes on the guy. Unamused look stuck to his face, tongue running over his teeth. “You kn-know how long it’s be-been since we’ve had sex? Me forgetting,” he used air quotes around the word as he hiccuped before continuing on, “is my little punis-punishment for her acting like this.” His eyebrows shot up, nodding his head as his friends agreed with him.
Danny gave a smile to him, feigning friendliness. “Acting like what, Connor?” His eyes never left the swaying figure as he stood casually, one hand tucked in a pocket, the other setting his beer bottle down. Connor scoffed, trying to get Danny away from him. “Stay out of this bird boy.”
His friends laughed tirelessly at the remark, but Danny chuckled with them, taking a step closer to him. Connor’s face lit up with realization, a finger poking into Danny’s chest. “Wa-wait! Actually, if anything you know how I feel about her!” Danny nods, encouraging him to go on.
“Okay. Say it to my face then. How is she acting?” Connor chokes on a laugh, uttering the words haphazardly. “Like a bitch, dude.” It happened in a split second, but Danny’s arm had cocked back, barreling forward, and connected his fist with Connor’s nose, a loud crunch and shout silencing the room.
Connor fell back onto the coffee table, immediately getting drenched with the forgotten drinks sitting atop it. Blood poured from his nose, but Danny’s figure loomed over him still. Gasps had echoed out, music stopping, no one moving as they waited for the next move.
“Danny!” You yelled out, eyes wide in shock at what you had just seen. Jita’s hand gripped your arm tightly, her own face paralleling yours. Josh and Sam had crossed the room, placing firm grasps on their brother and trying to pull him away as Sam spoke, “Let’s take a breather, Danny.”
When Connor pointed back at Danny, hand still cradling his nose, everyone waited with baited breath. “Fucker broke my nose!” Danny pulled free from the boy's grips and stood over him again. His voice dripping with disdain, you didn’t miss the tremble of his hands.
“Next time you run your mouth like that it’ll be a lot fucking worse. Take that as your warning and get the fuck out of here. I don’t want to see your fucked up face again, understand?” He scrambled to get up from his spot, friends helping him up, but he spoke once more before making his exit.
“You’re fucking psycho, dude! She’s yours man. She ain’t fucking worth this shit. Fucking crazy ass people.” He was mumbling as he hastily stumbled from the house, the residence still drenched in silence.
Danny’s eyes met yours, how big and glossy they were as they peered at him, trying to silently communicate about what had happened. He swallowed thickly, knowing everyone was waiting for an explanation. “He called me dude. I told him I don’t like being called dude.” His eyes never parted from yours as he spoke, but you knew that wasn’t it.
Not with Danny. Something as trivial as that wouldn’t make him snap.
The rest of the night, he was continuously swarmed by people, pestering him with questions about what had happened. He refused to answer any by anyone who asked, even his own brothers. The one person he truly wanted to come and talk to him was avoiding him like the plague.
Being on edge for the remainder of the evening meant you couldn’t settle back down and enjoy the company of those around you. Instead, you stared off into the distance and tried to understand the events that had unfolded. You had heard what Connor said.
She’s yours.
What the fuck would make him say that to Danny of all people? Josh you could kind of understand because of how close you two were, but Danny? It didn’t make a lick of sense. As the night dwindled down, people continuously left and offered happy birthday wishes as they filed out of the home.
Aiding in taking down the decorations that were sloppily put up along all of the walls, you could hear your friends downstairs arguing over who got the last of the birthday cake, knowing they were going to be drawing funny things on Josh’s face because he had long since passed out on the couch.
The bathroom door opened and out walked Danny, knuckles lightly bruised, but a tiny bandage covered one cut. Not very well. He stopped dead in his tracks as he set sight on you. Setting the trash bag down, you motioned to one of the guest rooms, entering and hearing Danny follow you in, shutting the door quietly behind him.
Turning and facing him, you were on the offense. Arms crossed over your chest, refusing to back down, you stared him down. “You need to tell me what happened tonight.” His hands tucked into his pockets, rocking on his heels, shaking his head. “No.”
Scoffing, you felt the irritation bubbling in your gut. “Daniel! I’m not fucking around. If anyone deserves to know it’s me! I’m pretty sure my relationship ended tonight because of you. Knock it off and just tell me.” You weren’t sure which part of your statement ticked him off, but you watched him explode.
“Alright, fine! You want to know? The son of a bitch was running his mouth, said something about you that he shouldn’t have, and he got knocked on his ass for it! Any further questions?” You were more confused than before. “What did he say?” Your tone had evened out, voice dropping into a near whisper as you spoke.
Your eyes were drawn to his injured hand, not seeing his face when he replied to you. “No, I won’t repeat that.” Nodding in silence, you slowly went towards him, reaching for his hand. When you gingerly grabbed it, he put up no fight.
Fingers rubbing gently against the forming bruises, your brows furrowed. “Does it hurt?” He shrugged, trying to fight against the goosebumps that were erupting all over his body at the simplest of touches from you. When you finally tilted your head back to peer up at him, his gaze was already on you.
It was a split second reaction, leaning up to reach him and feeling his lips brush against your own for the first time. You had never felt anything like it. Something you had only read about. Nothing that could’ve ever been real. Entirely ridiculous.
So why was it actually happening?
You didn’t want it to end. Instead, your hands moved to his neck, one cupping the back and pushing him further towards you and the other moved to his jaw. The incredibly sharp feature was rock solid in your trembling hand.
His were entirely steady. Not a shake to be found as he deepened the kiss, crushing you to his body. Tongue swiping across your own, your entire body shook, a chill wracking your spine. He moved you towards the bed and when you felt your knees hit the edge, you immediately laid.
Danny didn’t break away, but followed you, chasing you. Not wanting to let you go for even a second. You had each other stripped unbelievably fast, a total blur, and a meshing of flesh. Your brain couldn’t catch up to the movements you were making.
Hooking your legs around his hips, you couldn’t wait another minute. “Danny, please. I need you, now. Please,” it was breathless and moaned out, your cunt throbbing with pleasure as you tried to get him in you as fast as you could.
His fingers pinched your chin, forcing your eyes to connect with his as he slid into you. Your eyes slammed shut, mouth falling agape, not a single noise emitting from you. He refused to move another inch until your eyes reopened and connected with his.
“Eyes on me, sweet girl.” You froze at the term of endearment, but you had no time to dwell on it because he continued his motions further, shutting up any thoughts you could’ve had. It was slow, unrushed, but deep, warming you from your head to toes.
It was something you couldn’t have even begun to think was possible. Something you had only seen in those stupid ass movies where the actress sees stars behind her eyes as her finish washes over her. It was even more intense for you, all muscles seizing and contorting in waves of pleasure you had never known were possible. Something you had only read in romance novels where you could feel the emotions crashing into you with every thrust of his hips as he chased his own release. His body trembled like he was rocked by an earth shattering earthquake, silencing his moans into your awaiting mouth.
Bodies stuck together with sweat, sweeping his curls from his eyes, you were seeing the deep brown swirls peering down at you in awe. Like this was a dream he was having. Needing to be told that this was true and real. That the threshold had been crossed between you two in ways you had never imagined could have.
His chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath, scared to look away from you and take in the scene around him. Your hands still held his cheeks in your warm hands, tugging him back towards you and connecting in a slow kiss.
You didn’t have much time, hurrying to redress after realizing that all of your closest friends were downstairs, probably waiting for you since this was your party. It was silent except for the noise echoing downstairs. Moving towards the door, you grabbed Danny’s wrist to stop him from leaving.
Placing a chaste kiss on his cheek, you whispered, the door opened just a crack, “Thank you, Danny.” You slipped out before he could respond, leaving him stunned and rooted to his spot to figure out what had just happened.
You didn’t see or hear from Danny for the next week. You weren’t sure you were supposed to be hearing from him. What was the protocol now? The longer the week went on without so much as a peep from him, you called Connor.
He reluctantly showed up, a knock out drag out fight to end the fucked up relationship that this had been. He had hardly put up much of a fight with regards to your relationship ending, but more on the part of how horribly he had treated you. You were entirely exhausted by the end of the night, Connor long since gone, but your body ached.
Craving the person you had never thought you would want in such a way. Not understanding why he wouldn’t want to call you. He had called you sweet girl. You had stared at the notecard from the flowers every single night since then. Was he lying just to get you into bed? No, that wasn’t Danny.
Was it?
Your fist collided with the wood, repeatedly hitting it until the door finally pulled open. A confused Danny stood on the other side, discontent dissipating as he saw who was making the ruckus at his home. It didn’t last very long because he could see the fury painted on your face.
Not uttering a word, he moved to let you enter his house. Storming in, you threw your coat onto the back of the couch, arms crossed soundly over your chest. He faced you, not wanting to overstep by speaking first. It was obvious you had come with a purpose, he didn’t want to take away from that.
“Why don’t you love me?” It came sure and strong. More of a declaration than a question. His features morphed to one of shock at your question. Looking around at his surroundings, he turned in a small circle, a breathless chuckle leaving him. “You have got to be kidding me. Goldie, are you serious?”
Refusing to back down, you only nodded. “For fucks sake, I’m in love with you! I’ve been in love with you for I don’t know how long. I thought you hated me, why would I risk telling you a damn thing when you acted like you did towards me?”
Fuck. You had fucked up. You recognized that now as you stood here seeing the emotions waft over his features and eyes, tumbling out in a pure confession. “I-I don’t know.” You mumbled, unsure of what else you could say.
“I’m so in love with you that I was willing to take the shitty ‘relationship’ we had because it was better than nothing. It was you interacting with me and talking to me. I needed at least that.” Your eyes welled with tears as he continued on, feeling your soul rip apart as the realization of horribly you had treated him dawned on you.
How could you not have seen this?
“And I had to watch you throw yourself into something you of all people did not deserve. Do you know how miserable that was for us? What I had to do to keep that fucker in check?” Your tears cascaded down your cheeks, but you shook your head, not understanding. “Wha-what?”
Danny’s hands were planted on his hips, head shaking as he replayed all of those encounters in his mind. “It-it doesn’t matter. I should’ve done that a long time ago. I don’t regret it. And I do love you, goldie. I do.”
Your hand reached into your pocket and pulled out the note, crossing the room to hand it to him. He took it gingerly from you, not looking you in the eye as he did. “Did you send the flowers to my work, Danny?”
Nodding his head, you didn’t hesitate or waste another minute, throwing yourself into his embrace. His lips were on yours instantly, tasting the salty tears that coated your face, but he didn’t care and neither did you. “I’m so sorry. I’m sorry,” you babbled through more tears, but he shook his head, holding your face in his hands, wanting you to look at him.
“We have nothing but time, sweet girl. Nothing but time.” You nodded, pulling him towards you once more, savoring the electric currents that flowed through you at the connection with him. The same connection that you had thought was once only a work of fiction. A sales tactic, but no.
What they say is true. It all makes sense once the person that was made for you is standing next to you, ready to face it all. Nothing worries you anymore because there’s nothing to fear as long as they’re with you.

Danny walks into HQ Grover is standing at the computer desk and Danny groans. “What now?” Grover asks, Danny has been in an even worse mood ever since Steve Mcgarrett, that jerk he’s secretly in love with but will never admit, left a year ago now.
“Charlie, wants to hang out with friends this Halloween then go trick o treating with me.” He complains. Grover raises an eyebrow.
“Are you sure that’s it, and not the fact that this is your first Halloween without Mcgarrett?” That earns him a glare from Danny. Grover just sighs, then says what’s been on his mind since Mcgarrett had left with Cathrine on that plane to god knows where. “You could have left this town. You hated it enough I honestly thought you’d be on the plane with Mcgarrett.”
Danny shakes his head. “And leave Grace and charlie? Never.”
Grover rolls his eyes. “You want to know what I think?”
Danny crosses his arms. “No, not really but I’m sure you’ll tell me anyway.”
And to Danny’s snarky answer he got a replie. “I think you stayed here just in case he ever did come back he’d know where to find you.” Danny doesn’t respond to Grover’s words. He doesn’t know how.
When kono and chin left there was a void yes. He missed the cousins working with them day in and day out, and when Jerry left he’ll admit he missed working with him as well. He even miss Max slightly and his nerdy Halloween costume antics each year. But when Steve left it broke him. He didn’t realize how much he loved the suicidal idiot until he got on that plane and left this town. A town that he knows deep down that Steve will never return to, at least not really.
It was a pretty slow day at the office and by the time he got home he just wanted to sleep and maybe eat something other than TV dinners. He finds himself turning on that damn Chucky movie that Steve insisted to watch every year on Halloween. He never got the point of the damn movie and watching it just made him miss Steve even more. He gets up and goes to his fridge and opens it only to find there isn’t any more beer he sighs and considers calling Adam to bring him some, but he doesn’t feel like bothering him and everyone else on the team already had premade plans.
He plops back down on the couch again watching as the red headed doll runs through the house with a butcher knife chasing someone-Danny wasn’t really sure who- he’d stopped paying attention to the movie awhile ago. He hears a knock on the door and groans knowing it’s tricker treaters. He gets up and grabs the bowl not even bothering to pause the movie. He then opens the door and the sight suprises him. Steve is standing there a soft smile on his face when his eyes meet Danny’s. “I thought you were still with Cathrine.” Danny chokes out.
“It didn’t work out. Besides there’s someone I needed more than her.” Danny swallows hard at the taller man’s words. His head dropping to his stomach. He should have known better then to think that he’d come back to this island just to visit him right? Right?
“Oh, I’m sorry come in.” Danny says, fighting back the fleeing feeling in his gut as he steps aside to let Steve in. Steve walks in to see the Chucky movie playing.
“I thought you hated this movie.” Steve says, a confused look on his handsome features.
Danny crosses his arms. “Maybe I just wanted to watch a hated movie.” He bites back, and then decides to ask the million dollar question. “So who did you come to see?”
“You.”
“Well yeah, you’re in my house man.”
Steve shakes his head and Danny is certain that the only reason his heart didn’t escape his chest is because of his rib cage. “No, dumbass I came back to this island to see you.”
“You did?”
Steve nods. “Truth is Danno I thought I was looking for something, but what I didn’t realize is I found what I was looking for. It was right in front of me the whole time and it was in you.” Danny practically jumped into Steve’s ridiculously sculpted arms. Steve responds by wrapping his arms around Danny. Danny looks up at him.
“I’m going to make you pay for leaving me.” Danny says to him.
Steve just smiles. “I’m sure you will danno. Now why don’t we finish this movie?” Steve says, planting a soft kiss on Danny’s head and both men knew that they wouldn’t be watching the rest of the movie.

Evil Fenton Parents Meeting the Good Ones
It's basically that.
Maddie and Jack (the canon ones. Let's call them as is)
Mads and J (the evil AU ones).
........
Maddie and Jack were doing the "normal" stuff with Danny and Jazz, a happy family bonding time.... Fighting and helping ghosts and humans around Amity Park. Now that the Fentons have one thing in common, everyone is as close as they were before. It was all good and peachy when a new ghost came to Amity and had the whole Family portaled through somewhere else where clouds are grey and the streets are crowded.
Jack: Well... This can't get any weirder, won't it?
Jazz, eyeing Jack with worried looks: Dad!!
Jack: What?! Gotta let it come over and finish it faster!
Danny: Whoo... Boy... This is gonna be a loonnggg day.
Maddie: Awww, sweety, wouldn't that mean we'd get a long bonding time?
Jack: Great idea, Mads!
The family then found out that they were in Gotham but they didn't know anything of such a place before. And all the while the Fentons go around exploring the place and finding a way to get back (They found out that they're in a different reality due to seeing Maddie and Jack working with the GIW [they knew because of one big advertisement in a billboard])
Maddie: Well, that's horrifying.
Jack: Danny here must be a human then!
Danny, who knew that his parents despises the GIW even before knowing Danny is Phantom: Whoa. To think I'd see you guys work with them.
Jazz: Alright you three, stop dilly dallying. We still have a reality to get back to and put back a certain ghost to the ghost zone.
Maddie: Oh, Jazz. Can't we explore a bit more? For a ghost to be able to take us here just seems so fascinating.
Jazz: Eughh... Fine...
While they walked around the streets, the people would stare at them weirdly and were amazed to see the parents. Meanwhile the Danny in this reality was staring at them wide eyed at the corner of the alley.
Danny (the dissected one au): Did... Did they somehow clone me????
And the JL are freaking out when they see the Fentons being in two places rather than one because one, the evil ones are being held with them and two, the evil ones are also confused.
But Batman came in and theorized that the new Fentons may be in a different reality and thus, the new Fentons were invited to the Watchtower.
(I'm being honest, I literally have no idea if they would allow this or not but the only place I know is either the Manor or the tower 😔😔😔 and yes, I'm not a fan or probably I am [I'm not] but I am interested in DC just that I'm too confused on where to start reading, watching, gaming first cuz they're everywhere and the multiple of Robins are not helping me)
And then there, they all discuss while the evil Fentons (cuffed)...
(if ur wondering how they got here, it's because they were able to control Danny's mind again and got them to this place and was planning to destroy it but Danny actually tricked them into thinking that they did control Danny [The JL are planning for something to the evil Fentons])
...while the evil Fentons are listening in and make comments like:
Mads: He's a ghost scum! How could you ever accept him?!
J: That ghost scum must've successfully controlled your minds! Why else would you accept an abomination?!
But each time they do, the good parents would counter it like:
Maddie: Because he is our son! No matter who or what he is! He is still our boy!
Jack: You said it! And Danno-boy here is a great hero! Why shame him?
Maddie: We are proud of him! And we love him! Isn't that all that matters?
Jazz, hugging Danny (the edgy one): Oh, little brother, it must have been hard for you...
To Danny (the one that got experimented au), felt his tears welling up in his eyes, to think he'd hear the day where his parents would say that and see his sister alive but.... They weren't his.
+.+.+.+.+.+
Bonus:
The JL are all quite surprised/shocked and amazed by how cheerful, snarky and pretty much talkative this other Danny is (the one that got good parents).
They also found out that this Danny loves space and is now a fan of Martian Manhunter and all had thought that it was probably the same for their Danny (the one that got no parents).
