IT'S TIME! FIST OF BLUE SAPPHIRE! THE NUMBER ONE KAISHIN MOVIE!

How interesting though, that this movie is set after Ran and Shinichi are officially dating but they went for KaiShin instead with ShinRan sprinkled in from time to time. I guess they were like "you had your cheek kiss, let the gays have something" and we appreciate them for doing so!

And that card is how poor Kaito is dragged into this sinster plot T-T

I appreciate the movie actually understanding Ai's character better than Gosho does. This should have been her response when Shinichi had pestered her for the antidote for the school trip.

I still don't know why Yuusaku hasn't used his "many" connections to help his son get a passport but Kaito's solution worked too. And is a lot gayer.

Kaito really likes to dress up as cute girls XD We stan a gender non-conforming thief.

We don't acknowledge enough how gay Kaito's "I've been waiting a long time for you," is. We know honey. The boy still believes that he's straight but he'll get there.

Did Kaito strip Shinichi to put all that tan on him? I just need to know. Because that is also very gay of him (also creepy but he was only did it because he needed Shinichi's help and he knows that Conan can't be in Singapore so he's just being a good future husband protecting his identity).

Shinichi always sees Kaito as so handsome.

The second best part of this movie beside the Kaishin? We get really cute Makosono.

It's funny that Sonoko says "they have good vibes between them" but we know that Ran is already aware that this is Kaito and she's acting to catch him off guard. She's a better actor than Shinichi and now I believe that she's always acting when it comes to Shinichi.

Kaito and Shinichi are already being gay with one another. Come on guys, get a room. Shinichi has just been kidnapped and he does not give a shit because it was his husband that did so.

Agasa totally made that suitcase. Jii definitely had him make it. What I'm saying is that Agasa is a bro and wanted Shinichi to have a date with his boyfriend.

Ran is very pretty in this dress by the way. It's a shame that her wife isn't here. My only complaint about this movie is that there is no Sera even though she definitely should have been.

This movie shows us why KaiShin are such a great couple with one another. There's no tension between them, they're always on the same wavelength and it's amazing.

Makoto showing us why he's an amazing boyfriend and why he and Sonoko are so great together!

Sonoko is very gorgeous in this movie.

I love how he panics. When Shinichi panics he drops all pretense but with Kaito, he keeps his grin on his face, probably because of how he's trained his poker face but all it does is make him look manic XD

Kaito's love for sweets is being seen too T-T

Sonoko is the most supportive girlfriend.

It can't be a double date Sonoko with Ran, Ran's wife isn't here sadly. But you can have a double date with KaiShin.

Ran: This is definitely not Shinichi. He is not a smooth talker at all. And he would not interact with my dad that way.

This movie actually also shows us Ran's intelligence, though it's only revealed at the end. What I'm going with this is that SHE. SHOULD. KNOW.

One complaint, again. But how come Makoto gets to have muscles. It's not very apparent but they're there. Ran should get them too.

We love a self-confident Kaito. And Shinichi being exasperated at his husband for being so.

The jealousy Makoto has towards KID is actually one of the few in the series that I don't mind because Sonoko is very open about how she is attracted to KID (though she has assured Makoto her heart is his and even here she makes sure he knows that).

You know Leon saying Kaito's hands belong to that of a magician is also something Ran uses as confirmation that this isn't Shinichi.

You know Kaito is annoyed because it's Shinichi that deserves all the praise that Kogoro gets.

We know that Ran knows this is Kaito, so I'm willing to be she also knows that Arthur is actually Conan and that's why she's okay with this small child who is all alone following them around. Let her be the intelligent women that she is.

AND HIS FIRST HEIST STARTS.

They're so adorable, flying over the city while discussing a case. It shows how much trust they have in each other.

And there's the obligatory Shinichi and Ran. I can't even be made about it because I'm being fed so well.

Shinichi is so flustered that Kaito is actually interested in why he chose his name. He's not used to it.

AND HE'S SO CONCERNED FOR KAITO.

Someone pointed out that Kaito doesn't hold his hand over his heart, he usually holds it more to the left. So there is a reason he does so for Shinichi and that reason is gay, gay, homosexual gay.

Lol I just noticed he stole Shinichi's shoes and put him in sandles.

And the acting award goes to Ran! She's doing all of this just to catch out KID and we love her for it!

In fact, she knowing that this is Kaito but chosing not revealing that it is actually gives support that she to my idea that she knows Arthur is Conan and that there must be some way he brought Conan here that was illegal so the only way he can actually get him back home is to let Kaito be arrested in Japan. ANOTHER GREAT THING ABOUT THIS MOVIE. Ran is showing off how much she enjoys martial arts too.

The distance Ran put between herself and Kaito is so interesting (and Sonoko doesn't even notice, suggesting she'd do the same for the actual Shinichi).

I'm assuming that Kaito raided Shinichi's wardrobe because Shinichi likes pink shirts with white. He wore it in London and now Kaito is wearing pink and white in Singapore.

I love Kaito's disgrunted look in the background when Kogoro says he won't get the belt. Those are fighting words.

Awww, Shinichi looking back at Kaito was adorable. He's curious but also concerned about his husband as he knows he's being led into traps.

MAKOTO T-T DON'T LISTEN TO HIM.

Shinichi does not need a room with two beds. So, what I'm saying is that they shared a bed. And Shinichi is the blanket hog while Kaito sleeps with barely any and snores. Actually, with how wrapped up Shinichi is and how there is so little on Kaito but the bedding is going in the direction of Shinichi, I think we can confirm this is a double bed they are sharing, as well as a blanket. Noting this down.

OOF. He just lets Rishi fall to the hard floor. Shinichi you are a cruel man but I can excuse you because you want to solve this case before your husband is hurt any more.

MAKOTO AND SONOKO ARE SO CUTE IN THIS MOVIE.

We don't get to see Sonoko and Makoto as casual as they're being so it's nice to see them interact.

TIME FOR KAITO'S COMEBACK.

RAN JUST DOESN'T CARE SHINICHI IS SCREAMING. She totally knows that Conan is Arthur (and that Shinichi is Conan) and is letting him tell of his boyfriend.

TIME FOR SHINICHI AND KAITO TO BE GAY MASTERMINDS WHO SOLVE THE CASE TOGETHER. The gay part is very important to it.

Look at these babies being dramatic together as they sum up the case so far to try and solve it.

This is how playful teasing is done by the way. Neither of them think less of the other so the teasing is just that, something that neither of them mean. This can't be done between Ran and Shinichi because we know he actually views her that way.

I WANT TO SPEAK ABOUT HOW KAITO IS CARRING AROUND AND PROTECTING HIS LOVE WHILE MAKOTO IS DOING THE SAME. CAN I?

Kaito is one hell of a shot. And he has no ascended to the god of fighting as that was said to be the only thing to make the bracelet fall off.

Obligatory Shinichi saving Ran where it wasn't really needed but I'll allow it because we've been fed so much AND-

She gets the last move. So it's okay.

And Kaito can't forget his purpose. He is a jewel thief after all. And it makes a good reason to get people to shoot at him.

Kaito loves to make people bungee jump. He has to make them into extreme sport lovers too.

TIME FOR THIS SHIP TO MOVE. Kaito and Shinichi are so insane for this.

Bethany's Bizarre Miraculous Fic Prompt: Hawkmoth Gets Owned By Various Fictional Detectives

Basically I want to see Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth/Poopmoth/Monarch fail more since he kinda sorta won last season. And it's also crossovers where different fictional detectives (or just people on the Kira case square,) out Hawkmoth as Gabriel Agreste once and for all and hopefully do similar stuff such as outing Lila as a liar, dragging down other corrupt adults like Tomoe and Audrey, etc. and also just various funny moments with these characters interacting with the Miracucast. Here's some ideas I have from characters I know or are just interested in:

Lieutenant Columbo. I already made a post detailing it.

L from Death Note. I haven't watched Death Note, but if the memeposts are to be believed, he would outthink Gabriel Agreste at every turn. Probably ask him to show what's behind his ascot.

Shuichi Saihara from Danganronpa V3. Aside from him deducing Gabriel as Hawkmoth with the help from his friends, imagine the shenanigans. Gonta being ecstatic for the bug-themed heroes and how nicely they treat the purified butterflies. Kokichi takes down Lila by being Kokichi. Tenko is aware of the plot and tries to get Marigami together and make them kiss, alongside getting an Julerose kiss. Kiibo and Markov bond. So do Kaito and Rose. Kirumi somehow becomes mayor of Paris.

The Scooby Gang. In general I like the concept of silly guys managing to defeat Hawkmoth. They would accidentally find the secret elevator to Emile's pod and manage to use Ladybug and Chat Noir as bait for a trap and at the end, (since I like to imagine they're meddling adults at this point,) Gabriel Agreste grumbles that "at least it wasn't those meddling kids Ladybug and Chat Noir." They also take down the rest of Paris's elite because that's who the villains of Scooby Doo are.

The Duwang Gang. I think Kwamis and Miraculous heroes can see stands, but I'm unsure about akumatized people. Maybe. It turns out Crazy Diamond can heal people wounded by the Peacock but they pull the plug on Emile for the health of everyone. Rohan Kishibe uses Heaven's Door on the Miracukids and gets into accidental meta commentary upon discovering the full love square. He also uses Heaven's Door on Luka and it's sheet music. Maybe let Yukako join in too because of how much of a romancefest this show is and also because I like her and she had such a big presence in Great Days. Gabriel Agreste ends up with a similar fate to Yoshikage Kira, being surrounded by our heroes and helpless to do anything.

Sam and Max. I don't know much about them other that they're 1. funny guys, and 2. might just end up hitting Gabriel Agreste with their car.

Steve from Blue's Clues. Aside from the inherent humor of an educational kids show host taking down a terrorist supervillain, it also implies Blue knows who Hawkmoth is. Steve sits on the thinking chair to deduce Hawkmoth's identity and where he's hiding.

Courage the Cowardly Dog. Maybe Muriel and Eustace are dead and he was sent to live with Mylene and her dad. I feel like they'd get along well. Or maybe they're still alive and just visiting Paris and Muriel and Eustace are staying with Mylene and her dad. Either way I think this should take place around season 5 because the alliance ring works well with Courage's themes of paranoia over something supernatural putting your family at risk.

Agent P. Maybe Hawkmoth gets so desperate he gets Doctor Doofenshmirtz to build a wife-revive inator only for Emile to end up in another coma after accidentally pressing the self-destruct button on said inator. No one recognizes Agent P without his hat because this is Miraculous and people are dumb. Perry gets to beat the stuffing and tar out of Hawkmoth. Doof betrays him when he learns about how shitty of a dad he is. The miraculous heroes are allowed into OWCA on account of the animal theming.

The Smiling Friends. It starts off with a mission involving all of the main four helping Marinette smile and spirals down from there.

Not Batman. I've had enough Miraculous-Batman crossovers for one eternity.

Can you imagine no one at Aoko's work believing that Aoko is married?

Well you already know that one of my dreams is that Aoko works in the police department and one of the things I like about the fanfics I've been reading is that they take into account the weight of Kaito's job as a magician in his love relationship with Aoko and well from mixing those two ideas I came up with this idea of what would happen if no one in the police department where Aoko works knew that she is married and in my head several reasons came up such as:

-Both Kaito and the company he works for agreed to anonymize his wife's name to protect her privacy.

-Aoko uses her maiden name and only her bosses know her married name for privacy reasons as she does not want to be labeled as the wife of Magician Kaito Kuroba and also does not want others to believe that she got to her position by being the wife of the cousin of the famous detective from the east (I know that Ginzo could also enter here but I feel that Shinichi would be more influential).

-I feel that her friends and co-workers would be surprised because they have never heard her talk about a guy, let alone a husband, and they even thought she was attracted to a sempai that she always talks to.

Well, he agrees that he knows that Aoko is a sociable girl and because of her parents' influence she wants to work in the police department and he thinks about her being very close to a sempai, he tries to act normal although inside she can't help but be jealous.

Drv3 family trees (or my best attempt)(minus the Monokubs because I’m not doing that to myself)

Yeahhhh, guess who got bored

I mainly just used find on page to find out so this may be not 100% accurate (but if you think I’m gonna read all ftes,date tickets,utdp and drs events, you’re wrong)

anyways, here’s the key

Circle means Female, Square means Male and a question mark means idk if they are related or not (or something idk I just explain when it comes up)

all family trees are under cut cuz it’s long

First things first, Shuichi’s tree was probably the easiest to make for me since all the info was in his ftes. The only thing that I struggled with was shuichi saying “my uncle and his wife” which is a very weird way to say it (like bud, you could’ve said aunt in law and at least have some people understand it. Maybe idk family trees make my head hurt) but oh well

Then there’s Kaede! Her family tree is relatively simple but I also need to mention that if the character in question never mentions their family, I’m just going to assume that they have just 2 parents (in which I’m coining as the “normalcy law of assuming” I guess, I couldn’t think of a better name)

speaking of which…

Tsumugi (I’m pretty sure) never mention any family members, no matter how much I search (and before you mention her love hotel event, I didn’t read any of the cast’s love hotel events for both my sanity and happiness) so I just assuming that she has 2 parents

Now for Himiko, unlike Tenko, Himiko never mentions her family (unless her master is her dad in which I- what.) while the Danganronpa wiki states that she has a mom, I (personally) couldn’t find any evidence of that at all so I’m not sure where in the world they found that information (I’m serious, where in the fuck she says this?!?!?!!?! Because its certainly not in her ftes,date tickets,utdp events or drs events, so where is it?!?!??!) (I’m going insane) so yeah

To call Keebo’s family tree interesting could be a understatement, this is a line. Other than that, there’s not much to say about it, it’s just keeb and his professor/dad (also I want to mention that I’m pretty sure that Professor Idabashi is the only named family member in v3 which is odd but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Due to Kokichi being Kokichi, I don’t know if he has parents or not so I’m pulling the normalcy law of assuming card here

Catting Around Chapter 4

Summary: Donald stops by to turn Sora and Kairi's family human again. Naturally, shenanigans ensue.

(This story is a sequel to After Ever After, Love’s Cost, and Enchanted Neighborhood).

Kairi wasn't sure how long she managed to sleep before she was awoken by pitiful mewing. Sighing, she flicked the lamp on, disturbing Sora in the process. He yawned lazily and stretched before resettling next to her.

It would seem the two of them had visitors. Kageko was now sprawled out at the end of the bed, and Miyu and Haruto had joined her. They looked at her and blinked, eyes adjusting to the light. Kairi sighed and stumbled out of bed to look for Emi. She soon found her youngest daughter below the bed, looking up and mewing pitifully. Emi made one more attempt to jump up onto the bed that didn't work before Kairi scooped her up and set her next to her siblings and nanny cat.

Emi purred loudly as she curled up next to her sister. Kairi just sighed again and shook her head.

“Fine, just this once.” Normally, she and Sora tried to keep their bedroom sacred. The kids knew not to come in here except in emergencies. But this definitely was an unusual situation. Her family had never all turned into cats before. Good thing their bed was king-sized too, or the six of them never would've all fit.

Sora immediately cuddled up next to her once she was back under the covers. He switched to making biscuits against her back and nuzzling her neck, and she giggled. She was certain he would be spooning her right now if he were in human form. He loved spooning her and he also loved being the little spoon or, as they called it, jetpacking.

Basically, any excuse for cuddles was a good one in Sora land, which she found incredibly endearing for a 37-year-old man.

She wished with all her heart that he would be back to himself soon. That their kids would be back to themselves soon. And with those thoughts on her mind, she fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.

When she woke up next, sunlight was streaming through the window and something warm was against her back. Strong, steady arms were wrapped around her—

She glanced backwards, and her husband smiled sleepily at her, his blue eyes as vibrant as ever.

“Morning, wife,” he said, and she loved hearing his voice first thing in the morning like this, lower with the vestiges of sleep.

“Morning, husband.”

Somehow, he was himself again. He was human. She rolled over and kissed him, a morning ritual they always made sure to perform. He kissed her back, savoring the moment, letting his lips linger.

Just then, the baby kicked, and she smiled and brought his hand to her belly. A huge smile spread across his face as he felt their little boy kick again and again.

“I think he's saying good morning,” she told him.

“Good morning, Kaito,” he said, leaning close so he could kiss her belly. “Daddy and Mommy love you very much.”

“Our soaring little sea is already living up to his name, so energetic and full of life,” she said happily, but at the thought of their newest child, her other three children sprung to mind.

“Wait, Sora, where are the kids? They were in here last night—”

Paternal panic flash through his eyes, and without another word the two of them sprang out of bed. Sora was still wearing his clothes from yesterday, which were very rumpled by now, and she was in sweatpants and a T-shirt. They staggered into the kitchen together, looking very messy and unkempt. Kageko was calmly eating out of her bowl on the floor, and two plates had been set out on the table with still warm breakfast food that were covered in paper towels and labeled “Mom” and “Dad.” 

At last they spotted their kids in the backyard. The three of them were all human again, neatly dressed, and with a fourth person. Kairi didn't recognize him at first because she had never seen him in human form before.

As she put two and two together, she put a hand over her mouth to stifle her guffaw, but Sora just roared with laughter. Because Donald had somehow been turned into a human, and he looked very, very annoyed about it. His blue jacket was too short, his cap was too small and couldn't stifle the shock of white hair poking out of it, and thank the stars Haruto’s magic seemed to produce clothes when they were needed, because he had on a pair of very baggy pants and oversized shoes. He was a fashion disaster, in other words.

He seemed to hear Sora even through the back door, and he turned and glared in their direction. “That’s not funny!” she heard him squawk at the top of his now-human lungs, his face red. “Your son needs to learn how to control his magic! It's the second most powerful transformation magic I've ever seen!”

That just made everyone laugh even harder. Miyu had forgotten her teenage dignity and was bent over giggling. Haruto fell to the ground, he was laughing so hard, and Emi was already there, a fresh wave of giggles hitting her as Haruto joined her. Even Kageko lifted her head from eating to see what was going on.

Sora opened the door and Kairi followed after him. “Oh, I think this is just payback for all the times you transformed me,” he said with a grin, crossing his arms as he raised his eyebrows. Donald had done it a number of times to prank Sora over the years, including a mischievous matchmaking ploy to get Sora and Kairi closer when they were teens.

“Watch your mouth, I can punch you now and really make it hurt,” Donald said, forming a fist.

“Bring it on!” Sora said with a grin, readying himself for a playful brawl.

Smirking, Kairi winked at Haruto. As Donald launched himself at Sora, Haruto summoned his Keyblade right as Kairi summoned hers. A moment later, Donald was a duck again and floating in midair just inches from Sora’s face.

Beautiful coordination. All that training for Miyu and Haruto was paying off.

Donald went into a new tirade about how unfair it was that they could all team up against him. Kairi couldn't make out much of it, mainly just the ranting about how Sora had a wife and three kids who could gang up on him.

“You mean four?” Sora said with a proud smile.

Then Donald finally noticed Kairi’s belly and went into a new excited sputtering session involving lots of flailing.

Kairi brought Miyu over to show her how to cancel an anti-gravity spell so Donald could celebrate with them properly. As soon as he was on the ground again, he launched himself at Kairi for a big hug. Before long, the entire family and Donald were all hugging. 

“By the way, Kairi,” Donald said, when they finally broke apart, “you turned them all human again on your own. I don't know how you did it, but everyone was back to normal when I got here.”

Sora looked at Kairi. “Even after all this time, you still underestimate yourself sometimes,” he said, proud and sad at the same time. She reached for his hand, and he gave hers a gentle squeeze. He always believed in her, even when she didn't believe in herself.

“I guess I just thought that after all this time, I had lost my touch a little. I mean I know I saved Sora back when he got hurt, but that felt different. That was an emergency. This was just… a goofy mishap that made me realize how much I treasure each of you the way you are. I remember wishing last night that you would all be back to yourselves soon, and I guess that wish transformed you all.”

“You’re really powerful, Mom,” Miyu said, a newfound respect in her eyes.

“Yeah,” Haruto said. “I didn't get this ability from nowhere, you know. And you can even use it without a Keyblade. You're pretty awesome, Mom!”

“Everyone, let's have a party!” Emi cried. “To celebrate Mommy and being back to normal and Kaito coming soon!” 

That sounded like a splendid idea to everyone, so they all scrambled to make preparations. 

Several hours and many gummiphone calls later, they were all on the beach of the Play Island with their closest friends and their kids enjoying a delicious barbecue. Kairi smiled as she watched everyone enjoying the impromptu baby shower for Kaito/celebrating everyone being back to normal…and celebrating her. Frisbee, races, tug-of-war, and so much delicious smoked fish and veggies plus plenty of fresh paopu provided the perfect party atmosphere.

Kageko sat on her lap, and she stroked her sleek black fur with one hand as she put the finishing touches on the mobile for Kaito’s room with the other hand with the help of Aqua, Naminé, and Naminé and Roxas’s daughter Yume. It was made of thalassa shells they’d crafted into multiple Wayfinders. A way of keeping Kaito safe and always bringing him home.

Kairi watched as Sora, Riku, Roxas, Terra, Ven, and Strelitzia played frisbee with Miyu and Haruto, plus most of the other kids, including Julius, Terra and Aqua’s oldest son, their daughter Camilla, and Riku and Xion’s three kiddos, Yuki, Rie, and Mamoru. Ven and Strelitzia’s twins, Priscilla and Peony, were searching for shells with Xion, and Hayner, Pence, and Olette were taking photos and hollering advice at the frisbee players. Axel and Isa were grilling up more food for everyone, and Goofy was putting it on plates. Daisy, Minnie, and Mickey were building sandcastles together with Emi and Augustus, Terra and Aqua’s younger son who was around her age.

Kairi’s eyes met Sora’s, and he smiled, his face lighting up like the sun. It was so good to have him back, to have their kids back. For everything to be how it was supposed to be.

“What a weekend it's been,” she said, smiling in contentment. Her friends agreed, and Kageko also purred her agreement. She would have to ask Sora and the kids if Kageko had told them anything interesting while they were all cats.

Each day brought with it a new adventure, and she couldn't wait to welcome Kaito into the World and introduce him to so many wonderful family members and friends.

Kaito’s name is 海翔 in Japanese, the first kanji meaning “ocean” or “sea” and the second one meaning “flying.” I wanted a name that combined aspects of Kairi and Sora’s names. I've always loved how Sora's name means “sky” in Japanese but also sounds like the word “soar” in English.

A big thank you to @scoobysnack1107for letting me use her Rokunami child name, Yume, for Roxas and Naminé's daughter. I gave Terra and Aqua’s children Latin names since their names are Latin (and years ago @angel-with-a-pipette and I thought up the name Julius for their oldest son), and for Ventus and Strelitzia, I gave one of their children a Latin name and the other a flower name to match their parents. For Riku and Xion‘s children, their names are Japanese, with Yuki meaning courage, Rie meaning pear tree (as a shout out to her mother's flower-based name) + grace and kindness, and Mamoru meaning protector (it's also the name of Riku's Japanese voice actor).

Anyway, this was a blast to write. It was nice exploring things from Kairi‘s point of view, like how she still might underestimate herself from time to time but also how she and Sora unconditionally support each other. It was also fun making a call back to one of my earlier stories (Transform) and the shenanigans that happened there. The scene with Donald was amusing to write, he would look so funny as a human and I kept chuckling to myself imagining it.

Just some kids and their moms. Sort of a follow-up to yesterday's thing with just the parent element.

Headcanons below

I think Mahiru absolutely dotes on Himiko and spoils her, just a lady who loves her daughter to a fault. This might be controversial for me but I think Teruteru is her dad, Mahiru and him never married and Himiko was primarily raised by her bc Teru's job means he's away a lot. Not that either of them hate him or anything.

I absolutely think Sayaka had two kids eith Leon, resulting in the blueheads of V3. Though I could also be convinced their union resulted in Kaito bc blue + red = purple. But for now I think it's funny to think that red hair is a recessive gene while blue hair is dominant. And for parenting, I think Sayaka and Leon's music careers were great meaning they spent a good half of their kids' childhoods away, letting their friends babysit and raise them. Shuichi was raised by Kyoko and Makoto for a good amount of time, while Junko and Taka helped raise Tsumugi, they both got quite attached to their aunties Kyoko and Junko.

Miu is 1000% Hiyoko and Kazuichi's kid, bless this girl for somehow inheriting her mother's blonde hair... as well as all the horrible traits of both parents. This is Hiyoko's Karmic justice for being a bitch throughout highschool: raising another one. Kazuichi plays damage control for his impossibly stubborn wife and daughter in the immediate aftermath of whatever shouting matches they have; "mom doesn't love me!", "oh god I've ruined it... I'm just like my mother aren't I?!" and he's gotta sit there and hold them and convince em things end up alright as they usually do, which they do. For all their faults they're probably the mother-daughter pair that has the most soap opera emotional resolutions where they cry in eachother's arms, apologizing.

Kaede is Junko and Taka's kid to me. I'm lowkey obsessed by the idea that both their wild forces of personality met somewhere in the middle and raised a child who is headstrong, fearless, but also morally complex and kind of conniving. She's got the ability to scheme a whole rube goldberg machine murder, that's forward planning that would make Junko proud, all the while fighting for what is a right and just cause, as Taka would adore. Also the way she acts with Shuichi, that's her channeling her mama - making her proud too.

Kaider au where Cinder gets pregnant while her and Kai are still engaged and haven’t been married yet, but she finds out admits a hectic moment in her life. With their wedding day coming closer and other problems, she’s started rethinking the royal lifestyle she’s getting herself into, which leads to her having arguments with Kai. He’s trying to convince her it’s all okay but her denial (and probably hormones) are messing with her emotions and confidence and everything in her position as soon-to-be empress, wife, etc. Once she finds out she’s pregnant, she’s scared out of her mind and can only think about the things people will think, fuelling her belief that she is irresponsible, unworthy and incapable of being empress. So in the fleet of the moment, she runs off without telling anyone. Kai is left in complete shambles and despair because he loves her. She returns to Luna, to remain as the queen while keeping her pregnancy a secret, and the public just thinks they broke off the engagement and the end. Flash forward into the future, Cinder’s given birth to their child, a baby girl, and has raised her into a brave young teen. But none of the public know about her, only the palace staff who have sworn to keep the princess a secret. One day, a photo of the princesses’ portrait gets leaked and everyone across the universe is talking about her beauty and resemblance to none other than EMPEROR KAITO. Kai, being a busy emperor, is unaware of all this internet commotion until someone brings it to his attention. There’s no doubt in his mind that she is his child. He’s overcome with tons of emotions. Then he heads off to Luna in search for her and to finally meet with Cinder after all these years (ps he still loves her)

Speaking of Aromantic characters I like to headcanon Kaito as Aromantic. His dates with Aoko feel very platonic, both seem to see them as friend dates rather than actually being boyfriend and girlfriend. Most of Kaito's romantic gestures are just him showing her magic tricks (the flowers and cinderella treatment, he saw the first as a greeting and the second was him trying to be cool even with Aoko being clumsy at skiing) and otherwise doing things culture has labelled as romantic like telling her cheesy pickup lines to lighten the mood. I love it when being romantic (romanticism and expressing love) doesn't need to have romantic intentions/feelings behind it. Especially true as Kaito's Dad was big on being a gentleman due to his studies in America and his Mother is french, where things like cheek kisses can be greeting which is definitely not the case in Japan. I can easily imagine Kaito being confused as to why his Dad saving his Mother meant they had a whirlwind romance and shotgun wedding. He did not know what Valentines Day is and while I know that he always missed school because February 14th is his bad luck day it still seems unlikely, he missed the hearts and possible confessions because he was preoccupied with collecting chocolate. Robot Kaito said he thinks he's in love with Aoko, I'm sure that was meant in a robot learning feelings way but it felts like 'you are my favourite person and I want to be with you forever but I'm not sure if I'm romantically attracted to you - I'd marry you just to cement our BFF status though because a strictly platonic marriage for any legal benefits to share doesn't exist and we're practically husband and wife already according to your Dad because I'm part of your family unit, if I had to get married you would be my first pick' allonormativity is hard to navigate for aroace spec people. You weren't born when the Soulmate Stars Aligned happened. It had happened some time in the late 1700s, caused by a comet that looked different that hit the earth.

People thought it was truly nothing, but magnificent when the blue comet hit the earth. But something changed that very day. They started waking up with colors not being there, unless you were lucky. It was then noticed that when people met a certain person that those colors became full again. It was strange to say the least.

For the past hundreds of years, people have called those lucky people "soulmates". If you didn't find your soulmate, you lived without color or met another soulmate who couldn't see colors.

You had been stuck in your college room all that day when your friend and room mate mentioned a club she wanted to go to. Feeling the need to get out, you agreed. So she told you the place and time. She seemed to be very happy when you said yes.

So there you were, at the club, dancing with your friend and drinking different beverages. Most were alcoholic. The reason for the great club get together? She met her soulmate. Before you. You weren't happy with it but you were happy for her. So you both were treated to drinks.

You knew the club as you'd done research. The infamous Club Heaven, owned by Rocky who ran White Rascals. Or better known to your college as the devils. It wasn't a bad place nor was the gang bad, as they tended to protect many women of the place. You could see a few of the woman now, dancing scandalously in a similar way to how your friend was dancing as the music played.

You bumped backwards into a guy by complete accident and stumbled as he turned.

"何なんだ？?" He turned, looking right at you. "What the fuck?"

"彼女は酔うと不器用になるんだ." Your friend says as she gets in between you and the man. He seems highly intoxicated. Almost reeks of whiskey and not the cheap kind. It makes you slightly gag. "Sorry about her, she's a bit clumsy when drunk."

"その通りだ！俺のシャツを見ろ" He yells, louder than the club music. Which makes you giggle a bit. "Damn right you should be sorry! Look at my fucking shirt."

"もう謝っただろ. もういいよ. それに、シャツの洗濯はそんなに高くないよ." She's quick the respond, turning around as she finishes to get you to a bathroom. "I already apologized. That's enough. Besides, washing shirts isn't that expensive."

"このアマが！" He spits as he grabs a fistful of her hair, yanking it back. Everything happens so fast that your eyes are still looking at the intoxicated man as he hits the ground. You look from him to your friend who is talking to 2 other people, both of which are men. "You bitch!"

One of them seems uninterested in the whole situation, rather looking up at a man who is sitting at the railing of the stairs. He wears an all white suit with a cane and fingerless gloves. Rocky. The man that stands beside him looks like a butler. They seem to notice you staring, darting your eyes back at your friend who is talking to the other one. A rather cute person.

The other person turns to look at you. "大丈夫ですか？" "Are you okay?"

"ええと、大丈夫です. ありがとう." You speak somewhat lowly but loud enough for them to hear. They extend a hand, to which you shake before realizing who they are. "Um, I'm fine. Thank you."

Kizzy and Kaito of White Rascals, the two that everyone feared. The duo that, together, were the most people powerful.

You grabbed your friend. "もう行くよ. ちょっと疲れたし、明日に備えて酔いを醒まさないと." "I've got to go. I'm a little tired and need to sober up for tomorrow."

You turn, running out of the club.

Ever since that day, you had been avoiding Club Heaven and White Rascals, which was quite hard to do considering the next few days, you found out that Kizzy went to your same college. But the weird thing is, that you hadn't rubbed hands with anyone after that night yet you could see color. Which only ever means one thing; Kizzy was your soulmate.

You told your friend of course, but as it turned out, Kizzy and Kaito were soulmates. Apparently, they both could only see a select few colors. That means, you were possibly both their soulmate.

So, for a whole month, you evaded Kizzy. If you were placed for a project in a class, you'd ask to be placed in a different group. If you had the same friends who wanted to go places, you would drop out of the activity. Soon you realized that avoiding her was impossible without ruining your own relationships and grades.

Today was the day that you ended your avoidance of your soulmates. You got placed in a project with Kizzy and only her. Everybody else got placed in groups, but due to the odd number, you were stuck with her.

Now you are sitting across from her as she stares at you. Even though you grew up in Britain, Japanese was still being learned. So, you decided to clear up the awkward silence and stares by ordering something off the menu.

"あの、おっぱい茶を注文��てもいいですか?" You asked as the waitress stared at you in bewilderment. Kizzy giggles a bit. "Um, can I order some titty tea?"

"Stop laughing at me." You hide your face.

"彼女はお茶を頼みたいんだ. おっぱいじゃなくて." Kizzy smiles at the waitress. As she bows. She wants to ask for tea. Not boobs."

Still embarrassed, you refuse to remove your hands from your face. You knew at some point you had to make yourself look like an idiot, but did it really have to be the time that you are sitting across from one of your soulmates?

"So, you don't speak perfect Japanese?" She says flawlessly. You remove your hands from your face, confused. "Oh, I've been learning English. Figured a pretty girl like you were not from Japan."

Your face turns red at the compliment of sorts. "I just didn't expect someone to learn English."

"English for you."

"Still."

"Why the avoiding?" That's the question that chokes you up. You could lie and say that you didn't like her or you could tell the truth that you were scared of her and Kaito.

You decide on the truth. "I've heard about you and Kaito. A fearsome duo in White Rascals, those of who that fight and were also apart of Doubt. But I'm also scared-"

"Scared that we're soulmates?" She asks, moving a book on the table to the side. Your eyes widen.

"How did you know?" You squeak.

"It's weird that the same girl from the club that had a guy put his hands on her would ask the person who defended her about her soulmate unless it was..." She seems to think about the word before looking at you, "挑発された."

"Provoked?"

"Yes, that word."

"So, I guess I'm not the only one who isn't entirely used to or fully learned another language." You mumble, looking at the waiter as she places the tea down for you. You thank her.

Suddenly someone sits down at the table.

"Kaito!" Kizzy smiles. You keep your eyes glued to your tea. You can feel his glaring into you, but you can't tell if its anger or hatred. This makes you uncomfortable as you cough. A hand snakes over your hand and you realize it's Kizzy's. "Ignore him, he's just grumpy that you were avoiding us for so long silly."

You look over at Kaito who is no longer glaring at you but rather looking down at Kizzy's hand on yours.

"If we do a polyamory thing considering that we have another soulmate, I want a rule." He seems to relax in his chair.

"We can have a rule."

"Good." Kaito takes a breath. "Consent."

"Consent?" You ask, confused by that.

"Consent, to do stuff with you guys. I want action too." Kizzy giggles at that request and so do you.

"Sure." You mumble.

Could you please share your thoughts on Kuroba Toichi? What was he like as a husband, father and master (Jii)? How did he get along with Aoko and her parents? Did his civilian life have any ties to Kid as a suspect or rival? What was he like as a Magician, he had many fans and seemed close with his teacher? How was he as Kaitou 1412/Kid, he seemed rather intimidating when he was meeting his 'big brother' Shinichi, Nakamori is very obsessed and he seems to have a rather 'good' reputation?

I will choose to ignore the events of M27 and respond.

Well…

I like to think he was the first one to fall in love, the Phantom Lady also left notes about her heists. Maybe even Chikage did dramatic performances like Kaito? Only instead of a magic act, it was a house of horrors.

My thought is that Toichi fell in love with her on one of her heists and started looking for information about her, he wanted to get to know her better and know her story.

I imagine it was frustrating for him not to be able to ask out the girl who had been looking for him for so long, and then all of a sudden she… backs out! I like to think he was devastated… But then more heist notes appeared, he had hope!

Well, I like to think that Toichi was in love and crazy enough to say "She's great and I'm in love! Since she's a thief she surely won't trust me if I'm not one right?! Then I'll become one!"

When he sees her at the robbery where he meets her, Being the good magician that he is, he hides his feelings, but in reality he was quite excited and nervous to meet her, he rehearsed the words he would say to her a lot of times in the mirror because he was afraid of ruining it.

Since we don't get much of Toichi, I like to think of him as a fool in love with his scary wife. (I guess that's why I like Akako x Kaito). I mention all that to say, I think Toichi is a husband obsessed with his wife, and gives her a rose every morning. He's a magician! It must be easy for him to have flowers!

Oh, as a fun fact, I like the idea of ​​Toichi being a housewife when he's not at work, though he can't cook at all and leaves that to Chikage.

I have this mental image of Toichi holding baby Kaito in one arm, while holding the vacuum cleaner with his free hand. Chikage then enters the house with a stolen painting and yells, "Honey, I'm home from work!". I like to think that Chikage sometimes helped him with his KID work.

So far, in almost all of Toichi's flashbacks, Kaito has appeared. Kaito literally met Yukiko in one of his classes!

Which leads me to think that he was the one who was primarily in charge of raising his son.

I can just imagine baby Kaito crying for his dad, and Chikage having to dress up as Toichi to stop Kaito from crying.

And her saying: "Why do you love him more? I had you with me for 9 months!"

In Jii's case, I feel like the reason he's so dedicated to serving him is because Toichi saved his life, not literally, but in a more metaphorical way, maybe Jii was in a bad place when he met Toichi, and it was an encounter that marked his life forever.

I feel like they both see each other as family, Jii was always constantly worried about Toichi's safety and health, I like to think that when he saw him planning robberies or magic tricks until late and it wasn't for a last minute performance, he would force him to go to sleep, something like:

"I'm a grown man now, I can sleep late if I want!"

"It's still bad for your health, drink this hot chocolate and go to sleep!" It has been mentioned that Toichi was one of the most famous magicians in Japan, and even had a nickname by which fellow magicians referred to him as "the magician of orient."

He even met his wife in Paris before he had a magic show.

That's why I imagine Toichi must have had a huge fan base, I think the way performers are treated in Japan it was probably known that he was married but no one knew who his wife was or if he had any kids.

I imagine Toichi taking baby Kaito to the supermarket, he has a cap and mask on but has to take the mask off when his son starts crying, then as he's comforting his son a fan sees him and is shocked because no one knew Kuroba Toichi had kids, Toichi notices this, when he makes sure Kaito is calm he puts him back in the stroller, looks at the fan, gives him a rose and winks "Let this be our secret." I think unlike Kaito, Toichi was luckier in the sense that aside from Nakamori, no one seemed too interested in him (I won't count Yuusaku for these situations).

I imagine that before he died he was very close to his former mentor, James Hopper.

I like the idea that Kaito and Judy actually met at some point in their childhood!

Maybe they even had play dates while their father and grandfather caught up.

I like to think that Toichi had a classy and silent version of KID, the last years he was active were probably when he became more bloodthirsty.

I want to believe that was because of Chikage! Toichi mentioned that he didn't like that kind of jokes, so I choose to believe that she corrupted him over time.

Also, maybe he wanted to seem hostile because a criminal organization was interested in him, and he thought that would keep them away.

I think Toichi talked a lot with Nakamori as KID, they got along well, but she really got on his nerves, almost as much as Kaito does.

I like to think that Toichi as KID would make such stupid and ridiculous comments to Nakamori like "I know you have a daughter, I have a son, you two should play together" and Nakamori would get angry and say that it was ridiculous "My precious daughter won't play with the son of a criminal, and that poor baby should grow up in a proper place!"

I'm sure Toichi once took Kaito on a robbery just to show him to Nakamori.

Toichi was a cool neighbor with a weird wife, so in conclusion they were both good but weird neighbors!

Midoriko got along well with Chikage, they were probably good friends, although it was hard for her to keep up with that tornado.

Nakamori once overheard them talking about murder, and that's how she found out that Chikage liked grotesque jokes, then she saw Kaito and Aoko playing with a retractable knife and didn't know how to feel.

On one hand, this somehow increased the creativity of the children, on the other… this was certainly worrying.

I think Toichi liked Aoko because she accepted Kaito as he was.

I have the headcanon that Chikage is French! And therefore Kaito is half French, it's just not noticeable because he looks more like Toichi!

In the anime 1412, Chikage mentions that her first date with Toichi was at a French restaurant, which makes me wonder if they lived in Paris for a while before going to Japan. Toichi might have feared that Kaito suffered from xenophobia, perhaps even Kaito's Japanese wasn't too good back then.

Time for Movie 8!! And for one of the gayest moments in DCMK history (unsurprisingly, it's because of Shinichi and Kaito).

Sneak thief is one of my favourite nicknames Shinichi has given Kaito and I love when it's used as a term of endearment in fanfiction.

All DCMK movies should be KID movies. Or Ai movies that KID gets to appear in.

I wanna know more about the Enchantlings au but I don't know what to ask, so share something about the au you really wanna talk about but haven't yet or if you want you can expand on stuff you've talked about before, the choice is yours.

So, the main themes of Enchantlings are grief, moving on, and familial relationships (besides the whole power of friendship trumps all typicalness for hero cartoons lol)

The best representation of these are probably Yomi (Kagami stand-in) and Kaito combined (besides Lisha, but she's the mc, and that's a whole other thing). I'd like to take the opportunity to spoil their backstory a bit!

Let's get the biggest thing out of the way. Yomi and Kaito are step siblings.

Kaito never knew his mother. She died shortly after giving birth to him. He grew up in Pariville, raised by a single father who was absent a lot from his life due to work, so most of the time, he had nanny's look after him. Despite this, Kaito has a surprisingly loving relationship with his father. They spend time together whenever they can, and when his father is out of town or abroad, they play online games together. Kaito is used to his quiet, relatively solitary life and routine, and he doesn't actively seek out change. Life goes on like this for a while until a faithful day.

Enter Yami Haizumi, a woman his father returns with one day from a business trip with the announcement of their wedding. Kaito doesn't really know how to process this or what to think, but his father assures him that nothing will change between them and that he should consider this a good change because he'll also be getting a sibling soon. After getting over the assumption that he'll get a baby sibling, his father introduces him to a girl who is thankfully older than him and much more quiet than a newborn as his future step sister. Yomi Haizumi. After the wedding, just as his father predicted, nothing much changes. Since his new stepmother is also a busy businesswoman, she's not around that much, just like his father. This leaves him and Yomi alone in the house with an occasional check-in from a nanny/housekeeper. Kaito adjusts pretty well to the change because Yomi is just as quiet as he is, and she's too busy studying to spend time with him anyway. He doesn't think much of her, and he's perfectly happy being left alone.

Yomi, on the other hand, is an entirely different story. She grew up in Machi Town with both of her parents. While her mother has been distant from her by choice, her father rarely had an opportunity to spend time with her from all the overtime he had to work. Despite what one might think, Yomi grew up poor. Her family was in no way affluent. That was until her mother struck gold with one of her new projects and rose up to being a CEO of her own corporation practically overnight. However, with this fortunate turn of events came some awful news, too. On the way from his work home to celebrate with his wife and daughter, Yomi's father tragically died in a car accident. This happened two years before her mother's unexpected new marriage, and Yomi still hasn't fully moved past it. She feels terribly alone and abandoned in the world, and not even Kaito's constant presence has managed to change that.

For Yomi, her relationship with her younger stepbrother will be the one with the most focus and development.

Seriously though, everyone from the main 8 has some weird family drama going on except for Alana. My girl has the most normal home life compared to the others by a long shot XD
