my scale in which i compare current guinea pig petting behaviors to general mood. i will refine this more later. i have 3 finals left due by this sunday plus an essay that's almost a week late. im at 4 on the pig petting scale rn!

1 (absolute worst possible mood): currently not petting any guinea pigs and there is no chance of petting any guinea pigs in the foreseeable future. life is utterly guinealess.

2 (really really bad): pet pigs a little while ago and now you've gotta wait a very, very long time before guineas are in your life again. you dont know when your next pig petting time is

3 (pretty bad): currently not petting any guinea pigs but there is a chance of petting them in the future. not 100% sure if pig petting will occur but it could happen.

4 (mostly neutral leaning bad): currently not petting pigs but there is a 100% chance of petting them in the far(ish) future. maybe you're visiting a family member with guineas in 2 months. this mood depends on what you consider to be near vs far future.

there is no actual neutral bc its impossible to be neutral abt guinea pigs.

5 (mostly neutral leaning good): currently not petting pigs. there is a 100% chance of pig petting in the near(ish) future. perhaps you will visit a guinea sanctuary next week

6 (pretty good): approaching pigs to pet them. you arent actively petting the pigs right now yet you are moving towards them you can see them you can hear their squeaks and you're very excited and anticipated

7 (really really good): you're petting a pig! a pig is in your lap and you are petting it. you think that it cant get better and then you realize: you could pet even more

8 (absolute best possible mood): petting numerous guinea pigs at once! they are all being pet! by you! this is amazing and wonderful and nothing could possibly beat this.

Getting to listen to Angela gush so enthusiastically about Shakespeare and the amount of enthusiasm and love and passion rolling off of her is so endearing and just makes me happy by proxy. Her passion and joy about this is truly so infectious it makes me. :] Like Shayne is laughing a little, Chanse is poking fun, but they're both visibly impressed. Amanda is caught between entertainment and genuine awe/admiration as she watches Angela wax poetic. its great.
