RWBY Fans talk about what makes RWBY enjoyable for the FNDM.
I want to take a moment to thank the RWBY Fandom for coming together on post
www.tumblr.com/iamafanofcartoons/714857308133441536/lets-talk-about-what-makes-rwby-good-or-enjoyable
and discussing why RWBY was an enjoyable show for each of them.
Everyone here had a fantastic reason, and I am grateful to each of you!
@hmvw2015 : For me, RWBY filled the void left behind by Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.
It’s one of the few shows I’ve seen (aside from Adventure Time) that grows up with its audience.
The fight scenes are so incredible! They’re lightening fast I would have to rewatch the same episode at least twice or thrice! Easily rivaling those done by Studios Gainax or TRIGGER, or Titmouse.
Since every character, place, and object have connections to fairy tales, mythologies, folklore, and classic novels, it did a great job portraying them to their root inspirations. Plus, I’m always digging deep into their designs and backstories.
The music is almost top tier to the music from the Disney Renaissance Era. Maybe even better than that. The songs add another layer of foreshadowing for the characters, and they’re fun to listen to~!
It tackles issues like self-worth, abuse, and death.
The series basically screams “Women’s Rights” and “Gay Rights” and proud of it. :D

@ammy246 :
I've always enjoyed the characters, and I like how there are 4 badass female protagonists who are each enjoyable to watch. I also like how the villains are actually threatening, so the heroes have to put effort into earning victories unlike many works of fiction. The animation always excites me, because you never know what you're going to get. And, don't even get me started on the amazing soundtrack.
@cinnamonrollfuckhead :
it tickles all the right things about me. i got in trouble for reading in classes when i finished my work early at school, it was nearly always history or mythology. i was an ancient Egypt kid. i read outside my age group. if Snapple wanted to employ me to write factoids for their caps i would take it. i was hooked on RWBY immediately despite being older than any of the main characters. i found an unlikely character to relate to in Jaune. i loved how it balanced serious and goofy themes.
@satoshi-mochida :
Some stuff I like about the show is that it's pretty fun and entertaining to watch, has constantly improving writing and animation(the CRWBY recognizing ACTUAL criticism, and working on those), with smarter and deeper than some may think moments, well-done characters, great music and songs, and probably more. I even cosplayed as Jaune(and the 'HuntsMan' with a Wonder-Zwei plush)with my then-girlfriend before COVID hit and other stuff happened, and enjoyed doing that.
@haunted-meatsack :
I'm waaaaay behind but I started watching for the fight choreography, music, and battle skirts. Plus I'm a sucker for small girls who kick ass with GIANT weapons. Then the story and characters kept me coming. I need to catch up.

@bumblebyfan :
I like RWBY due to a lot of reasons, for starters, the relationships between the main characters, and how they constantly help each other, I also really like the whole fantasy setting and how funny it is at times, I also really liked how they handled Ruby’s arc during season 9, as someone who has had... intrusive thoughts
www.tumblr.com/bumblebyfan/715730749688561664/lets-talk-about-what-makes-rwby-good-or-enjoyable
@xlbingo10 :
one thing that i particularly like about rwby is that the characters aren't dumbasses. i feel like so often in shows i watch there's an episode conflict where the characters make an obviously terrible plan that will clearly backfire horribly just for the sake of the episode plot and it's always painful to watch, so it's really nice to watch a show where that doesn't happen.

@sir-somewhat :
I love the cast.
I honestly can't say there is a character I am not fond of in some way and that includes the villians.
I love the idea of semblances and the faunus.
Also I want more faunus lore. Given the existence of the Ever After I have to wonder if the Faunus came from another world created by the Brothers.

@ghost-of-sparda :
Rwby was a show I found in college that I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy, but as I watched it- I found myself completely enthralled in the world created by Monty Oum and his friends. It’s story has me on the edge of my seat every episode, and it’s anime vibes make it a treat to watch. It’s not perfect, I will admit that- and there have been times where I didn’t agree with a direction of story telling at first. However there hasn’t been a show that gets me as excited as RWBY does since I was a kid.
If you grew up watching anime, or grew up watching anime- I’d give RWBY a go. If you are still not over the Owl House/ She-Ra/ ATLA/ LOK/ Naruto/ or any other amazing series with crazy fights and an amazing story: I recommend Rwby as your next obsession.
And if you want to give anime a try, but are still dipping your toes into the medium- Rwby is a good half way point for newcomers.

@aspiringwarriorlibrarian :
I really like the characters and their arcs, tragic villains, the triumph of hope and healing, and the fantasy elements.
www.tumblr.com/aspiringwarriorlibrarian/715056039519830016/lets-talk-about-what-makes-rwby-good-or-enjoyable
@miki-13 : I love how they use fairy tales and myths as inspiration but execute them in really interesting ways, as well as how human and grounded everyone feels while inside such a fantastic setting.
www.tumblr.com/miki-13/715136165044469760/lets-talk-about-what-makes-rwby-good-or-enjoyable
@thatringboy :
For the same reasons above, I’m also in love with the complex motivations behind the antagonists. Mercury hated the world and needed an enabler, Emerald needed security, Cinder snapped after a lifetime of abuse (just like Mercury), Hazel wanted revenge, Lionhart wanted to save himself, Raven wanted to save herself, Tyrian is just insane (based), Watts wanted petty revenge, Neo wanted revenge but doesn’t know what to do afterwards, CC wants to fulfill their cruel purpose, and Salem just wants to finally die. Torchwick was a comical villain who posed a dangerous threat, the Malachite sisters were doing their jobs, Ironwood was a victim of his own paranoia, Cardin was just racist, Cordovin worships her superiors, the Fennec brothers too, Adam wanted total control over everything and everyone in his life and would stop at nothing to get it, Ilia believed in a cause, Tock was following orders, it’s all so varied and exciting!!

@pyrokinetic-murder-hobo :
I honestly fell in love with this project immediately back when the red trailer was first introduced to me.
Though the animation for RWBY was simple and understandably a lot of people regard it as not the best. Even V1 and the original 4 trailers had a living soul to me and there was a certain charm to the characters and the animation.
What kept me coming back is I find myself being unable to predict where the show will go and it honestly keeps me drawn in that my thoughts and predictions are completely circumvented. The show doesn’t follow the trajectory of really any other media and Monty navigated it masterfully.
There’s so many relatable characters and the situations they are put in are approached not perfectly but in a human way as to be a human (even if you have copious amounts of power) means you’ll definitely trip up.
But simply put I’ve loved this project since the beginning with the 4 trailers and could write a dissertation on why I love this show and include a long list of different things I love ranging from OST to characters to design animation. But maybe a talk for another day
And it made me some awesome friends on tumblr of course too which is a major plus (you better know who you are lol)

iamafanofcartoons:
For me, RWBY is a change of pace.
It allows for women to be shown as independent characters, just as smart and strong as male ones.
It doesn’t use fanservice , you don’t have internal monologuing during fight scenes, you don’t have people screaming random attack names, and the music and designs are great.
I appreciate the humor, its not toilet humor or degrading humor like a lot of anime.
It also tackles difficult themes like abuse, leadership, morality, and debate.
It also takes the white male savior trope so common in the fanfics that people use to promote their OCs, and takes a giant dump on that garbage. If anything, when people say “the fanfics are better than the show” you’ll see them promoting a white male savior trope above all else.
Finally? Its a pro-LGBT show on many aspects, which amusingly infuriates a lot of straight shippers who defend their straight white male character who they put on a pedestal.

@grimmgrinningghouls :
for me RWBY is a comfort
It has been for 10 years
I literally would not be who I am today without this show
I'd probably still be a closeted lesbian living in a conservative household with an abusive father
and a mother who hated me
hell I may not even be here
But instead I'm living across the world from them and I'm okay
As okay as I can be
Its helped me through so much and its introduced me to people I have become life long friends with
These funky little lesbians are part of my life and they will be till the day I die

@snowqueenofmyheart :
Agreed to the above, as well as being able to enjoy a story that centers women in a way that doesn’t reduce them to simplistic tropes or fanservice. I’ve been looking for more female-centered material over the last several years, and stumbling upon RWBY turned out to be a real joy in that regard. Across the board, you have so many compelling female characters, heroes and villains alike. Not to mention two main characters being explicitly in a queer romance is a delight and a relief.

@youraveragecatastrophe :
well first i love fantasy so we're off to a good start between the monsters heroes and magic
the characters are a very strong point of this show. they're well fleshed out
(even many secondary characters including villains and despite the big cast!)
and they get the opportunity to develop and evolve
i love the themes! love and hope and caring about each other and all that
the fights are really fun to watch especially with the unique weapons and everyone's different fighting style
the story is really compelling and well written too!
also gayness. can't forget the queerness
really this show has everything

@foulfirerebel :
The music was what first made me get interested in RWBY. The hard hitting rock that also carried quite a bit of meaning into it if you truly took a moment to listen to the lyrics.
So, from there I watched V1 at a friend's house and felt it was good. It did a good job with the action scenes, and setting things up for the characters.
Volume 2, however, is where I truly fell in love with the show. The appearance of Cinder, of Ironwood, the food fight, the investigation into Torchwick and the White Fang, the dance and hacking sequence! Everything pointed to something more going on. Something hidden waiting to spring forth!
V1 was a great entry point, V2 convinced me to stay and hooked me, and when I finally marathoned V3 I was EAGER to watch V4 and onward. Any and all quibbles I may have had melted away when the Fall of Beacon happened.
So, long story short, I love the story. I love how things are built up and come back further down the line (Jaune's issues, Ruby's issues, etc.). I love how the characters do go through a lot and need help getting back up. I love how sincere and earnest everything is without a hint of irony.
I love the slow burn relationships, and that the show doesn't end with those relationships just being established. I love that, despite everything, this one little indie show has continued going past everything that's happened in a decade since it started. I love that the story is engaging, the characters are deep, the writing is great, and that I'm even feeling bad for the villains which I don't normally do.
RWBY may not be the most perfect thing ever, but frankly I love that the writers do see and incorporate feedback into their work. I love that, unlike how Halo or Star Wars do things, you don't necessarily need to have read all the side content to understand things too.
Most of all is I love how this show has improved on every level: animation, writing, voice acting, etc. It's just so refreshing. It's the Little Engine that Could continuing onward and getting better as it goes.
And hey, being a Bumbleby shipper since V3 and being vindicated in V9? Cherry on the sundae. It's been a wild ride, and I'd love it to continue.

@maor-koren :
RWBY is one of my favorite shows, it take a unique concept and make it very enjoyable to watch.
The main and side characters are all unique in their own way and very enjoyable.
The story is really good.
The animation, fight scenes and the design of the characters and places are all very pleasing to the eye.
And the music is phenomenal.
Don’t let other people make your opinion! look at the show and see for yourself if you like it or not!

@but-a-humble-goon :
Rwby is, in a word, earnest. Its characters are unashamedly sincere, affectionate and vulnerable and the show understands not only that these things are not a weakness but that there can be no greater measure of strength. It’s a story overflowing with heart that categorically rejects stoicism and nihilism and never once apologises for itself. Nothing has ever hit me harder and I do mean that.

@mikey-polo420 :
I watched RWBY Because i was drawn in by the trailers when Monty was alive and i liked the idea of cute girls fighting monsters with giant weapons, then i wanted to see their journey through beacon and now i've become invested with the Messages of hope the show presents, i love each of my precious children and want to see them achieve their happiness , i want to support RWBY to it's conclusion because that's what Monty wanted, it's what his friends wanted and they deserve to complete his Brain child.

@mooninoir :
i started watching when vol. 1 was still going, with a fansub (!) working hell and back to translate each episode as they came out. i remember waiting every week to see a new episode, and when the last episodes came, i was entirely invested in this sci-fi fantasy series with fairytale elements and wanted to know what would happen next.
and, for me, it's an endearing series that i enjoy watching, even with its flaws. it's fun, but it also has a heart. i like how it didn't shy away from telling a broader story. vol. 3's gut-wrenching finale was for me what made me realize i was not there just for the amazing fights and cool soundtrack, but for the characters and how they live in this crazy world. it was amazing to watch its worldbuilding evolve to such great lengths and see the characters i like to grow and learn and evolve along with it. they are done well and don't feel misplaced in the narrative. it just flows nicely and i guess the latest volume proved that to me (the themes, the motifs, the characters' choices, and the visuals) everything comes together, y'know?
and i just... like it. i like rwby. i really do.

Tumblingxelian:
Why do you watch this show?
I watch RWBY for the cool characters, interesting setting and engaging overarching story and arcs, plus some gorgeous animation, sets and awesome music.
What makes it appeal to you?
Women, including queer women, are center stage and given tons of dynamic personality, agency and exploration in ways I rarely see done in other series.
www.tumblr.com/tumblingxelian/714943623381303296/lets-talk-about-what-makes-rwby-good-or-enjoyable
@feifiefofum :
look, the ad on the tin was cute girls doing violent things and looking great while doing it. that was the impetus for me to follow the show, i was there when it started with the famous red trailer to yellow trailer.
the writing then wasn't bad, a bit condensed because, y'know, shoestring budget so everything was very tight time wise. but y'know, you didn't watch the four trailers and get sold on the story- which was good by the by, but it wasn't exceptional. it was by the numbers, hitting what they need to hit, but good. you didn't think it was spectacular.
but then volume 3 hits you out of nowhere, and you realize, oh, the writing is phenomenal actually.
rwby has deceptively good writing that on the surface is good par for the course that lulls you into complacency, and then manages to sideswipe you with incredible twists that you don't see, but on looking back, the seeds for the twist were planted from book 1 on. the world is slowly and meticulously rolled out to the viewer, the characters shine, and the action, while still spectacular, become secondary to the characters and the world.
i started watching rwby, expecting cute girls doing violent things. and they deliver on that, and if you come watch rwby just for that, it delivers that. i didn't come in for hearty world building, intrigue, and lore so deep you can get lost in it. the writers write on a razor's edge, giving enough lore for a backdrop and setting the stage, but if you decide to dig at any trail, you can get lost in it. the concept of dust, the name of the world itself- frankly i think it's a masterclass in giving enough to keep the story going but having enough in the back that every new twist that they lay out can be found to have grown from a seed that was planted in an earlier volume.
i dunno who traded their soul away to keep track of all that world building and lore, but that excel sheet must be something to behold. rwby throws u-turns that you don't expect at you, lulls you with a sense of 'okay, i see your tricks now' and somehow manages to turn you around again, and have it make sense.
frankly, it's a little frustrating, i've been bamboozled and led by the nose.
and i love it for that. i'm delighted by the ride i'm on, and i hope the show keeps going.

@aspennntree :
I watch rwby for several reasons- mostly for the characters, i find some of them really relatable
also i just genuinely enjoy the story and the visuals and find the show very comforting
i also like the people i’ve met in this community that are kind and i like having people to share my interests with
i’ve made many new friends being in this community and it’s something i’m very passionate about, i just really enjoy it genuinely

@tokufan400 :
Even with everything, I can't bring myself to stop watching RWBY. I got back into it after talking with some friends in highschool, and I've been doing my best to keep up with it since. I have love for the characters (Weiss is the best), and I do feel a sence of amazement that a western project like this ha s grown so much. Not to mention the amount of art, comics, manga, and fanfics that have spawned from the show.
Do I have problems with RWBY? Yes. I will probably never stop ranting about something the show does to tick me off. But I do the same for Star Vs and Kamen Rider Zero One, both shows I still hold a love for. Hell, I might do the same for Amphibia and Owl House down the line if I do a re watch.
So yeah, still love RWBY and I want to be around to see how this story ends.

@howlingday :
So, I was in high school and I was watching Red VS Blue. Then I started watching Rage Quit. Then Achievement Hunter. Play Pals.
Then my sister and my high school crush were like, hey, try out RWBY. I mocked them by saying "It should be Ar-Dubyoo-Bee-Why". Then I got into it and, well, I liked it the more I got into it until I was caught up to Volume 2. Then Death Battle had the Yang VS Tifa fight (PLEASE, NO REMATCH), and I was rooting for Yang. Then I saw Volume 3, and I was shocked, dismayed, and devastated at the sudden heel turn. I've been hooked ever since.
So, to answer your questions.
I watch RWBY because it's fun, and I want to know where the story goes. I loved the fun had at Beacon, and I want to know what happens next.
The appeal comes from the desire to see these group of friends fight to save the world from the Grimm. I want to see them thrive against a world where everything is stacked against them! And I want to see them flying kick someone in the face to the sound of the most amazing butt-rock since Crush 40 Sonic (No offense MGR)!
So, yeah, I love watching RWBY because it's a story to be told. And I'm going to openly sob when the story finally comes to an end.

i watch because, okay i was kinda turned off by it at first, just "what is this anime shit?", but i watched it and it's the most out there animated thing i can think like. Rwby is a show that somehow got me appreicating animated projects and you can tell the writers and animators have fun with it.

@lithominium :
Its endearing, the lack of amazing animation in vol 1-3 is made up for in how much love was put into it. The characters are fun and loveable and the writing is goofy but unlike some other media ive watched its very good at knowing when to keep the tone consistent. Its very gay and i love gay and its got one of the greatest slow burns ive ever seen with great payoffs which always happen when they should. I like the setting and the lore and the weapons and the semblances. Its such a good show

@everafterfrisk :
I love RWBY for a ton of reasons but to keep it short:
• The Facial Expressions of the characters match really well with the tones of each scene
• Amazing character designs that can just tell you so much about them before you get to know them
•The animation: RWBY imo is best 3D animated series, most of the time 3D animes tend to be stiff and lifeless
But RWBY gives its fights alot of finesse and creativity to go along with
Like here's a few examples:
(V9)
Weiss and Blake using gambol shroud's blade to propel Yang while simultaneously having Yang use Arma Gigas's Sword
www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9RQnk7Oueo
(V3)
Yang closing Flynt's Trumpet making his quartet backfire on him
www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLu3_LKG_A8
(V4 Short)
Ruby using the recoil of her weapon to bounce out of the way from a Grimm and trip him up using her Scythe catching him into a Hurricane formed by her semblance (13:54)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivns4_clQ_c
There's even a full in depth analysis on the fight choreography from the earlier volumes to check out
www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMQfm0RsY6o
• Themes of Unity,Self identity,Acceptance,Loving oneself, Finding hope in the most dreadful scenarios and the list goes on
• The Protagonist Ruby Rose is a breath of fresh air similar to say Deku from BNHA where both know the world isn't exactly kind but still try to help the best they can; even if it results in them destroying themselves to get there as their series's goes on
•The Villains are all pretty realistic in their motivations being not afraid to fall victim to arrogance while simultaneously being victims of either the world's actions or their own
°The show doesn't swindle you into thinking that just cuz they have sympathetic backgrounds that they're immediately good
They have to work for it and atone for misdeeds such as Ilia,Emerald and Hazel or doesn't believe their actions are unwarranted like Salem and Cinder or has a lack of empathy for the world around them like Mercury or Tyrian or Wants to do the right thing but lets the ends justify their means(Ironwood) or Living only on the fear of your actions(Lionheart) or The world has dealt so much injustice to you that you felt giving it by ten thousand fold would remedy it ( Ilia and Adam)
▪︎ The Music is just PEAK for me
The Sound design,everything just speaks volumes of the scene

@blakistan :
I think RWBY was first suggested to be me on the grounds of “lots of really cool fights” which, while not ultimately the point of the show is still a big plus! Monty was an absolute wizard when it came to fight choreography and CRWBY has done a fantastic job keeping up that legacy. Ofc that was only the thing that got me to look at the show in the first place - what made me stay was the incredibly well done character-driven story. Following along and exploring the arcs of all the different characters in the show helped me through tough times and shaped a lot of who I am as a person today - Blake and Weiss’ stories in particular did so much in helping me find hope that I could grow as a person because that what the show is: hope. So uh yeah, if you like deep, interwoven character narratives that don’t shy away from growth, change, or the ugliness that sometimes crops up along the way with those things, definitely give RWBY a watch

@proximio-5 :
Tbh, I don't know, there's something about it that I can't explain, I started watching it in 2018, but somehow it's one of my top 3 Favorite animated shows, it can be because of the story or maybe the background, like the people behind it and everything they've done and how far they've come
For example, Monty; first he made the Haloid animation, then he became director of animation in Red vs Blue, and then he created this masterpiece that will be a big part of me
The animation itself is one of the best things about the show, I mean looking back at the style of background in V1 and more recent volumes, saying it has improved would be an understatement, I mean just look at it, you can see how much effort the've done for it
Another reason is the development or the characters, they've changed and matured in many ways. (Speaking of, I really hope Ruby comes back different but keeping at least some of her previous self)
So yeah, this show is far of being perfect, but then again...
What isn't?

@kereeachan :
I’m generally a fan of animation, and it’s been neat seeing how it’s improved since volume 3 (when I got into it). The story intrigues me, and I love the wide cast of characters and their development. The alternate universe is a neat one, Grimm are fascinating as a take on Evil Creatures to me, and the designs have always been cool, bar a few that never flew with me (Blake’s 1-3 outfit just kind of always looked a lil too sexy for my tastes on a “huntress” and I initially thought Nora’s 4-6 look was a downgrade before it grew on me)
I really enjoyed Ironwood’s slide from well-intentioned, if incorrect, hero to villain. Honestly his foreshadowing in volumes 2, 3, and 4 was some of the best I’ve ever seen. Maswartz above has commented on how they fool you by having him take facistic actions against people we hate more to hide how far he’s falling fast until we actually GET to Atlas and Mantle and realize it’s gone full Police State (if it wasn’t before). Genius.
I also adored Penny, she was my baby, she was amazing as a character and I’m so happy we got her back for a few more volumes before losing her for good (as much as anyone is ever truly gone, of course, she still looms large over vol 9). As one of the “weird girls” of the world who took a long time to come into my comfort with being a girl due to teasing and bullying (autism, baby. they always know) Penny just always SPOKE to me. I’m glad she not only proved her Real Girl bonafides as a Maiden but even got to live outside a metal body for a few episodes before her death, finally feeling the warmth of a hug.

@sevenofreds :
It's a genuinely fun and enjoyable show that can mix multiple genres together without it being jarring. There's action and comedy, there's horror, there's mystery and drama, and it all makes sense for what's happening. It has a layered and complex plot where things almost always turn out to be more nuanced than they first seem, and almost every twist/big event is subtly foreshadowed in some way. The shorter length of episodes compared to other shows also makes it really fun to binge watch.

@crowwrites2140 :
Of course it has its flaws like every other piece of media, but I genuinely find RWBY both entertaining and just a good show in general. I love the "AHA!" moments when you something is revealed that has been hinted at for volumes. I love the music and could listen to it for hours. I love the characters; their designs, their motivations, their relationships with each other and their character arcs that span the show. In regards to the protagonists, I also enjoy how they all seem so human. The writers allow them to make mistakes and fail. They aren't always the perfect heroes. And in regards to the villains, they are believable too. Nearly every one of them has some kind of motivation that drives them to want revenge in destruction. I love the plot, despite its flaws. It's complex and ties in with countless allusions. And lastly, I love the fanbase. Not the toxic side, honestly it makes me sad that a show like RWBY needs positivity posts because its hate fanbase is just so large. But there are so many in the community who are incredibly creative and create hilarious memes, beautiful art, and amazing stories, and I'm grateful to be a part of that.

@the-god-of-nihon :
RWBY is a special show to me. I’ve been with the series since it premiered at the end of RvB Season 10, and ten years is not an inconsiderable amount of time to be a fan of something. And unlike the “critics” or RWDE, I don’t stick around to hate-watch because of the sunken cost fallacy, or “to learn what not to do.” Or just for a reason to complain, more accurately. I simply enjoy the series. I have since it began, and I still do, and I’ll continue to do so.
While I don’t like everything about the show, or agree with all the creative choices; I don’t automatically assume that something I don’t like is wrong or bad. I happily take RWBY for what it is, and not what I think it should be. I, by no means am blind to the flaws and missteps, but none of them hinder my enjoyment to the degree that I feel like the show overall is a negative experience, even at its lowest points.
I watch the show because I like it. It has been a consistent source of enjoyment for me, and even now. I’ve enjoyed growing alongside it from an indie web-series into what it is today and seeing how it’s changed and improved with every volume.
I enjoy and am invested in many of the characters. I like the world and the bits of world-build and lore we get throughout the main show and supplementary material. And of course I can’t not touch on the fights and character designs. Its vibrant and narrative-relevant use of color, and how that’s effected the shows aesthetic development. And Monty Oum’s classic high-speed, frenetic and intricate choreo, that’s yet to be replicated. And how while different the post-Monty fights are still interesting and engaging for the most part.
I love the depictions of friendship and platonic/familial connection in the show, most prominently for me personally, Ruby & Jaune’s bond. As it’s so rare for a male-female friendship to be purely platonic and still be so genuinely well-written and integral to both characters. Although, I think RWBY is largely hit or miss with the way it handles romance, I think its friendships & familial bonds are where it excels.
Ruby, Yang, and Jaune are my top three favorites characters in RWBY, and how their characters and arcs have been so endearing and intriguing to watch. Especially as since V7, and what is being done with them current.

@lostdemifiend :
The biggest thing for why I love RWBY so much it is "oh that makes sense!" when something unexpected happens BECAUSE everything was set up previously that would result in this eventually, and none of it feels forced.
At the same time, its gleeful deconstruction of common shonen anime tropes adds to that sense of surprise. Subconsciously, one goes in expecting certain things to happen, but it defies that expectation in a way that feels like a natural consequence.
There's so much more, but I can't even start to unpack just exactly why I love this series so much.

Shu Sakamaki in Real Life HCS

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
🎻I probably won’t have much to say because I find his character to be ugh sometimes but I can’t imagine not creating hcs abt this mf.
🎻But it is difficult to come up with things about him, ngl.
🎻Anyhow, if you guys have seen these irl hcs before you’ll know I’m mostly sharing with you my general thoughts, and formulated opinions on this character so here we go!
🎻Okay, so I’m sure we all know he’s the heir and a prince of the vampire kingdom (I know its weird.) And I just have to say this because I don’t say it enough, I really feel like he acts differently in the demon world because he knows his dad will be mad.
🎻So you can expect Shu to be much more expressive as he is the heir, he represents his father and so he needs to be “lively”.
🎻 That being said, he attends gatherings, banquets, and many other events that his father may want him to.
🎻I will say that when he is in the demon world it is much different as he doesn’t act like himself.
🎻Apart from him is still the same in the sense that he is still a pervert.
🎻I mean we know he’ll be with low-ranking vampires or whatever just to get some.
🎻 After all, he has somewhat of an ego even if he doesn’t show it.
🎻So you know he most definitely does believe that because he is the heir he can move from one girl to the next with no strings attached.
🎻All for his advantage of course.
🎻Also speaking of his royalty life I really want to mention the fact that he is very annoyed by all the attention the girls give him.
🎻He literally can’t wait till he goes back to the human world where it's much quieter.
🎻However as a royal he does enjoy the theatre because he can hear classical music.
🎻In fact, he loves it most when he can watch the ballet performances.
🎻If there’s one thing he loves most it’s watching girls do ballet.
🎻He loves watching them practice especially because you know he’s a thigh guy. Apart from being an ass man.
🎻This is honestly where he might take an interest in a girl who's probably a dancer.
🎻I’ve literally made an aesthetic about this here.
🎻And you can read a lot about how he is at school in the demon world here.
🎻Oh btw he sleeps in only his underwear, that’s just how I see it. (and it's actually canon, I was laughing when I found out I was right.)
🎻I will say that he doesn’t laugh very often, he’ll just have a chuckle that makes anyone uncomfortable but when he full-on laughs it's so fucking rare.
🎻And it freaks out almost anyone, it even got Yui.
🎻He is such an ass I feel like he trolls anyone in, anyway, he can.
🎻His hair is so tangled and I bet he doesn’t wash it that often because he’s lazy
🎻He smells like cotton/linen and a bit of dust.
🎻The best actor to play him would be Toby Regbo.
🎻However the model I found on Pinterest is also a great representation of what he’d look like.
🎻In terms of attitude he really reminds me of Robert Pattinson because he trolls so much.
🎻The best way to bribe him is with steak, I swear it works every time.
🎻And I bet my entire ass that Reiji uses it for when he needs big favors.
🎻He loves to be comfortable so I feel like American Eagle, Hollister, Old Navy, and H&M are his go to.
🎻I know he loves cardigans so much so he’s probably extremely picky about the kind he buys.
🎻That’s why he only has three, this is actually canon, I believe it was in one of the game translations in Reiji’s route where he was looking for his jacket and asked Reiji. And Reiji told him it can’t be that hard to find since he has only three, lol.
🎻And idk why but I just feel like he miss places them all around the house.
🎻I also think he keeps so much junk under his bed.
🎻“Huh, I don’t remember that being there.”
🎻If he gets really hot, he just throws his cardigan under the bed.
🎻He once owned a cat, it's not that he went out of his way and bought one. It sorta followed him and so he started to take care of it a little. It lived outside mostly because Reiji wouldn’t tolerate it, but occasionally Shu kept the cat in his room.
🎻He has no idea where the cat went and whether or not it's alive since he hardly kept watch of it.
🎻Although he sometimes wonders where it went, and I think he liked the cat since she sometimes got into Reiji’s things. It was amusing to say the least.
🎻Forgets he puts his music sheets on his bed and ends up sitting on them.
🎻That’s why they’re always somewhat crumbled and folded.
🎻Never makes his bed, he just throws the blanket on and thanks to the butler the room is kept clean.
🎻Otherwise it’d end up like Ayato’s room, to which the butler can never keep up with.
🎻Because he loves music he has vinyl records, and countless CDs in some boxes he keeps under his bed.
🎻He keeps a couple of his favorite books which are in Latin.
🎻Something also tells me if he had a journal, he’d write only Latin because none of his brothers can.
🎻Because he used to be a cashier, he still has his name tag from then and his worker vest.
🎻He keeps in hidden in a corner of his closet.
🎻Speaking of which his closet is so empty and he literally has repeats of the same pants and shirts.
🎻It’s mostly because they were on a good sale.
🎻He will wear the same clothes for like three days or more and not even change out of them.
🎻Doesn’t brush his hair, just goes to school with bed head.
🎻Keeps his door locked so triplets don’t think about pranking him with some clown-related things since he has a fear of them. It's mostly because he’s learned that the hard way.
🎻It's also because he fears they may bring in a caterpillar.
🎻I could totally see Yui trying to feed a caterpillar and he’d flip out in panic and leave immediately.
🎻He never will admit to his fears and covers them up quite well because he wants no one to know that, especially a girl. lol.

1 DC PLAYLIST EVERY DAY
DAY 7 : HAL JORDAN
let’s talk : We’ve officially made it a week isn’t that awesome?! Okay ya like 7 days probably isn’t that amazing for some people but we gotta celebrate the little things to keep up our energy. And so far this energy isn’t looking to run out anytime. But onto Hal.
I know when I say that Hal is my least favorite Green Lantern because I simply find him boring I’ll probably be stoned by his fans but I can’t help it 😭. I just don’t see the appeal, maybe there’s still time for him and me to click but currently he doesn’t do anything for me. He’s just another white guy on the justice league of white guys. And there’s like a thousand different versions of him that do what he does maybe better? I feel like better may be taking it a bit too far.
Ugh that’s enough whining from me. I just like to voice my own thoughts on these characters I’m working on to give yall some insight. But even though I don’t exactly love him doesn’t mean I had any intentions of half assing this playlist!
music choices : I’m a huge fan of classic rock. It’s that genre where I only know the hits and honestly can’t tell you many deep cuts. But it’s such a welcoming genre. Maybe not the community since I’ve had no experiences with it. But the genre itself I feel like anybody could get into it. If pop rock and pop punk never existed I’d call this genre Pop rock cause of how easy it is to just get into the music.
That being said I wanted to pick songs that encapsulated the vibe of Hal. There are so many rock hits that I think this guy would listen to but there are even fewer hits that fit his story. Songs like danger zone and rocket man are pretty obvious fits. But songs like eyes without a face and west end girls may need a bit of an explanation.
Starting with eyes without a face. In this song idol uses the 1960s movie eyes without a face to showcase his emotional dislocation through a story about a surgeon who tries to restore his daughter’s face with features from murder victims. This song I added which was to represent parallax. With the idea of “Hal” doing whatever he can to get what he wants. Which of course isn’t the full story but we don’t got time to get into all of that.
Anyways as always here are some great playlists that worked as great inspo
Playlist spotlight!

Oh, hey! How’d you get here?!
Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
Tumblr media
I’m Asteria, but my friends call me Teri and my pronouns are she/her!
Asks and DM's are always welcome! However...
I’m a grown adult, so please if you’re a minor that wants to interact with me, keep it to my ask box only! Take it from someone who was privately talking to grown people online much too young, it’s never worth it! Protect your peace so I can protect mine. ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
I write South Park fics and shit! Here’s what you can currently read on my ao3!
The Song of Broflovski (TSOB)
Tumblr media
A parody/retelling of the Trojan War through the exploits of some small town fourth graders. Crass and silly and meant to closely mimic the feel of the show. Great for people who don’t like smut, but DO like toilet humor and kids that cuss!
Exactly Where I Left You (EWILY)
Tumblr media
My take on a high school au with a little twist, complete with overly-dramatic teenaged angst, love triangles and sexual awakenings. This fic takes place within the same universe as TSOB, though that isn’t required reading to enjoy this story! Be warned though, this one does contain mild smut.
Remplir Sa Bouche (RSB)
Tumblr media
A smut-heavy one-shot I cooked up one day, where Stan works as a private chef for Kyle and his wealthy family. This fic exists well outside of my typical universe, and outside of any concept of decency. If you dare take a bite, then I hope you’ll enjoy your meal. Bon appetite!
Other content:
You can listen to music I associate with the EWILY boys and their arcs on my Spotify!
The EWILY boys also got Pinterest boards! Featuring a WIP board for RSB (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)
Current WIPS:
La Petite Mort (title subject to change): The much requested sequel to RSB!
EWILY extras: One-shots covering bits that didn’t quite make the cut for EWILY, but still add something to the story!
And many more ideas currently waiting for their turn in the oven!
(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
Since you’re still here, I’ll share some other things about me!
I’m a double Scorpio, Aries rising and INFP!
I primarily ship Style (or Stanky if you prefer) and Bunny, but I also dabble in Bendy and Yentlman. And Creek, of course. Canon kings.
Though South Park is my primary focus, I also like a lot of other cartoons! I’m also a big fan of Bojack Horseman, Moral Orel, Clone High (the first season rip), Futurama, Smiling Friends, ATLA, Castlevania, the list does kinda go on. Feel free to chat with me about other shows!
I am also an anime enjoyer, though I don’t keep up with a lot of the modern popular shows. Hands down my favorite shows have been Ouran High School Host Club, Black Butler (the manga is better hehe), Madoka Magica, Panty & Stocking, Spy Family, Aggretsuko and Clannad!
Very casual video game enjoyer. Some of my favorite games include TFBW (obviously!! A masterpiece!!), The OG Spyro trilogy, Bayonetta, Assassin’s Creed (especially Odyssey, you KNOW I’m a Classical Greece girly), and The Sims.
I listen to just about any kind of music, but I’m especially partial to pop-punk and k-pop. My absolutely faves of all time are BTS, Twice and FOB.
I’m not afraid to block people, or tags for that matter. Won’t yuck your yum (too much) but if I don’t wanna see it, I won’t be seeing it.
Thank you for reading this long-ass post! I hope you have fun here!!

Impressions of ttpd under the cut.
Okay, I’m writing my thoughts down as I listen so I don’t lose track.
Songs I’ve listened to : Fortnight, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, Fresh Out The Slammer, Florida, Guilty As Sin, I Can Fix Him, loml, How Did It End?, The Prophecy, I Look In Peoples Windows, The Bolter, Peter.
Songs I liked: The Bolter, I Look In People’s Windows, The Prophecy, Peter.
KEEP IN MIND: I only listened to the above mentioned songs. Albums are usually meant to be consumed as albums. So if I’m missing certain pieces of he puzzle because I skipped around, lmk/ remember that as you read this.
General note/ TLDR: there are moments of strength on the album. It’s not all bad. In the songs I liked most you can even see the signature strengths of TS, story telling being one of them. But the album feels too bloated and might be her weakest work imo.
The aesthetic: confusing! She oscillates between the asylum and the poet motifs. I understand why. I think a perfect combo for this would’ve been the dark academia trope. She should have embraced that fully. Madness/ darkness as a result of love and creativity is a huge theme in dark academia and in the 18th century poetry that it comes from. She seems to be circle those vibes. But the whole asylum, craziness, poetry, creativity, childhood innocence, corruption and sex, end up confusing the message when they all could have fit coherently together if she did the academia thing.
Positives: the album is hella relatable. The type of love that she describes (setting aside who it’s about) is something I’ve definitely experienced and it’s definitely stuff that people in love will do. Justify acting stupid even when deep down they know what they’re doing will only harm them/ the other person doesn’t see or appreciate it. Building a grandness around the feelings you have for the other person the deeper you fall for them, looking back and mourning that version of yourself as much as you’re mourning the relationship / losing someone. Or like realizing that the greatness that you saw in someone was due to the respect you had for them and goodness you imbued them with not because they were actually worthy of those things…that’s a big ass feeling to accept. Super real. Been there. It stingssss lmao. So I appreciate the honesty.
She’s always known how to tell a story! The Bolter and Peter are great examples of this but it’s in all the songs that I liked. And this has been true since day one. Her classic bangers like “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me” all the way down to Folklore and Evermore. In fact, I think that’s why when Red initially came out in 2010 people found it confusing. She herself always says it’s part of the country music genre that she took with her. Red did that in pop form and purists didn’t enjoy it. She does it on ttpd as well. In some songs it works, in others not so much.
Which brings me to the negatives: when it doesn’t work, it REALLLLY doesn’t work. Like in Guilty As Sin and How Did It End? Which for me are the lowest points form the collection of songs that I listened to. There’s some reality in there I’m sure, but it gets lost under all the bloated metaphors. I don’t think there’s a single line in either of those songs that isn’t supposed to be metaphorical and fake deep. It’s too much! She should’ve stripped it back / edited herself heavily in those songs. The result is she sounds ….idk empty?? Trying too hard. Like straining to really convince you that she’s devastated for real. I’d believe her more if she didn’t feel like she had to prove to me how much pain she’s in and just laid it out as it is.
The album sounds like too much of the same thing? I say this and I didn’t listen to the whole thing. Like the whole breathy/ broody sound and production is the same throughout. Sometimes, artists will do this on purpose to give the album a cohesive identity or to suggest that it’s one story unfolding over time. Like in AM’s 2014 album. That’s not the vibe I got here. Then again, see my disclaimer about not listening to the whole album maybe if I had listened to it from beginning to end I would feel differently. But the vibe I currently get is that some songs might have been recorded in the same writing session so they were too close to each other artistically cuz that’s the idea that was in her head at the time. Or like some songs were made from scraps leftover from another song that came before it. You know what I mean? It’s hard to kill your darlings, as creative writing teachers always say, but sometimes you really should, lol.
General frustration: this album doesn’t have a signature Taylor Swift song that I can sink my teeth into or play in the car, or on the radio and I genuinely don’t think there has ever been a Taylor Swift album where at least one song didn’t go viral/ become a likeable hit.
Overall not as trash as some takes have made me think however nowhere near as good as a TS album should be. Yeah. That’s all I’ve got.

GuitarWorld: “I did everything by working my ass off. I played in bars six nights a week, 300 shows a year, three one-hour sets every night for eight years with no record deal”: Evanescence’s Troy McLawhorn on his guitar firsts, favorites and embarrassing moments https://trib.al/khFs88q
Interview Behind The Read More
In this Inquirer column, we reach out to Troy McLawhorn of Evanescence to answer the essential questions in any guitar player’s life. We’re talking first songs learned, first guitars played, and what would McLawhorn do if he had a time machine?
Well, maybe we know the answer to that – he’d take that damned trench coat back to the store…
What was your first guitar?
“My mom and dad had guitars in the house, and though they didn’t play them that much, those were the first guitars I grew up playing on. The one I really started to learn how to play on was my mom's nylon-string classical guitar.
“I played that for years before they bought me my first guitar, which I picked out in a music store down the street from my house. It had a black Gibson Explorer-style body with a maple neck and was made by a company called Lotus.”
What was the first song you learned to play?
“House of the Rising Sun by the Animals. I figured out the chords and then gave a little concert to my mom and dad. I was around 12.”
Do you remember your first gig?
“My first gigs were playing at parties. In my hometown, older kids would have what they called keg parties, where they’d buy a couple of kegs of beer and have a band play. So my first gigs were in people’s backyards, playing at parties for older people who were getting drunk. One of the earliest bands I can remember being in at the time was Hellrazor. By default, our only payment was beer.”
Ever had an embarrassing moment on stage?
“I can't think of anything in particular that occurred in Evanescence, but I do remember one embarrassing moment back in the early ’90s when I was in Still Rain. Whenever I performed, I’d wear snakeskin boots and a leather trench coat that went all the way down to the ground.
“One night, I was playing a solo at the front of the stage and totally rocking out. When I was done, I took a step back, but because my trench coat was so long, I stepped on it and couldn’t stand up straight.
“Each time I tried stepping back, the trench coat got shorter and shorter, until I fell down on stage on my back into the drum kit. I rolled around for a second so I could get my shit together, and I finally got up.”
What’s your favorite piece of gear?
“One piece of gear that I regret letting go of was a Mesa Boogie Mark IV. It was a combo that had a beautiful tweed front. As for my favorite, it’s my 1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom that was given to me for my birthday by a good friend.
“It was used when I got it, but it’s a beautiful guitar that’s got this amazing piece of leather artwork on the front. I’ve never seen anything like it and it just sounds and plays great.”
Suppose the building is burning down; what one guitar from your collection would you save?
“My wife gave me a really great American Telecaster for Christmas a few years back. It’s one of my favorite guitars to play when I’m at home, and it means a lot to me because my wife gave it to me.”
When was the last time you practiced and what did you play?
“It would’ve been last night before the show. I warm up before every show, playing guitar for 20 or 30 minutes. I will usually go through some exercises, and maybe a couple of things in the show that I may have fucked up the night before.
“I don’t really have a routine, as I don’t actually sit down and practice all that much when on tour, as I concentrate on maintaining and getting ready for the show I’m about to play. But when I’m home, I practice a lot and like to learn new things.”
What aspect of the guitar would you like to improve?
“I’d love to have more of a knowledge of music theory. Growing up, I learned everything by ear. I just listened to records and tried to figure out what I could. I think it would be great to have more of an educated knowledge of theory and scales and all that stuff.”
What advice would you give to your younger self?
“I’d say invent a time machine so it can take you to now, where you could watch YouTube videos! I think it’s amazing that kids have YouTube now, because it would’ve been a whole different thing for me if I had all the knowledge that’s on YouTube."
“I did everything I could by working my ass off. I played in bars five and six nights a week, playing 300 shows a year, playing three one-hour sets every night for about eight years with no record deal. The experience was amazing. I don’t know what more I could have done outside of what we did in that time.”
Fallen (20th Anniversary) is out now via Craft Recordings.

for the ask meme, top 5 photos of keith and charlie! 🥹
also! while you’re at it, top 5 keith songs (can be both the stones or his solo works)
This isn’t intentional, but every photo I ended up picking of them is from the last 30 or so years of the band.
In no particular order:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also a bonus shout out to the best Keith and Charlie photo where Charlie technically isn’t in the picture:
Tumblr media
For the top 5 Keith songs, also in no particular order:
Hate It When You Leave (Main Offender, 1992)
Most of Keith’s solo songs are either about getting screwed over by a woman (and deserving it) or missing somebody in a long term relationship. This is one of my favorite songs of that second genre, I admit partly because it reminds me of a very particular part of my life, but also just the lyrics, the beat, and his voice play beautifully together. It’s an aberration for me in that most of the Winos songs I enjoy are the ones where Charley Drayton is on drums, because he has a lighter touch that suits Keith better.
Alteration Boogie (Unreleased Voodoo Lounge Outtake, 1993)
youtube
Voodoo Lounge is a great album that also has a lot of outtakes from the studio sessions floating around online (there were 75 demos from the whole process which was an unusually large amount for them), but this is probably my favorite Keith solo piece. It’s a song about and sung to Charlie (who joins in on drums halfway through) and it’s the most unhinged thing you’ve ever heard. Keith composed an entire 5 minute song about Charlie’s personal, how his trousers hang, and his ass, among other topics, seemingly on the fly. It’s a really interesting insight into whatever is going on in his head.
How Can I Stop (Bridges to Babylon, 1998)
I think most of Keith’s best ‘solo’ music really comes from him doing his own thing as a vocalist within the Stones. Especially because he has a tendency to strip things down and do almost everything with just himself and Charlie, plus occasionally one or two other people (Stu, Pierre, etc). It’s an emotionally devastating song (“You look at me, but I don’t know what you see/A reflection, baby, of what I want to be/I see your face and I want to roll with it…”) and the music itself more than matches the lyrics for quality. Wayne Shorter guested on the song and the last minute, which is just Charlie and Wayne going back and forth on sax and cymbals, with a little piano backing, genuinely gives me chills. It also shows how Keith’s generosity as a musician and his love of Charlie works in his favor, because that duet between them makes the song.
Love Hurts (Tribute to Graham Parsons, 2004)
youtube
It’s a cover, not a song Keith wrote himself, but I think it really suits his style/content as a solo artist and he makes it really work with his voice here. Norah Jones also works fabulously as co-vocalist, I think he actually tends to harmonize better with women (Sarah Dash, Norah, Sheryl Crow, Lisa Fischer, etc) live than with Mick.
Losin’ My Touch (Forty Licks, 2002)
I’m a sucker for all of Keith’s ‘sad old man at the end of a long term relationship’ songs, like “This Place Is Empty”, but this song (which was one of two originals added to a 40th anniversary greatest hits album) is really lovely. It’s a very classic Keith only on vocals/no back-up, drums, piano, and a bit of guitar, and I think that’s often how he sounds best.
I wouldn’t put it in my top 5 solely because of how horribly the production of the song was mangled by Andrew Watt, but Keith’s one solo song off of Hackney Diamonds, “Tell Me Straight” has absolutely gorgeous, devastating lyrics. It’s almost certainly his Charlie song, and both more beautiful and sadder when you consider the writing in that light.

Hi! I’m writing my own music, and Adamandi is an inspiration. I’m just wondering, has there been any inspiration when it came to you two writing musicals? (Adamandi, The Art of Pleasing Princes, Ghost Story, and any other future musicals.) Such as, any movies, TV shows or any other musicals? I find the aesthetics and music in these musicals all so different and I love that! And the themes in these musicals are so interesting! (/vpos!)
Great question! It's hard to separate genuine inspiration from research, since once we get an idea we usually try to consume everything that's related to what we want to write to figure out what we wanna add to the cultural conversation. Sometimes we also get inspiration from a work because we don't like it and want to position our piece in opposition to that one. But for this post we'll try to keep it to Genuine Inspiration that we consumed before we wrote each piece (hey, this thing is cool, this helped me figure out how I wanna write my thing for the better.)
Maybe we'll break this up by show:
TAOPP
Fun light fantasy with heart that plays with the tropes of fantasy settings, a la classic DND settings, Six of Crows, Terry Pratchett
Mel took a class on the High Middle Ages and read On The Origins of Courtliness (from which the title is derived!) and The Ballad of Tristan and Isolde, which got sort of melangéd into the Princes court world- living and dying by the king's pleasure, etc.
Aesthetically, the TV show The Great? Mel watched it a little bit before writing Princes and the anachronistic dialogue + rules of court drama have something to do with it.
Not much musical inspo for this tbh, I think it was just our first go at Writing A Show Together so a lot of our influences were just other musical soundtracks we thought might be the vibe we were aiming for. (Probably Pippin, 35mm, Great Comet, etc..)
Similarly with lyrics, I wasn't really thinking of a lyrical style, but I think I based a lot of my song forms on Something Rotten as the other show I knew set in the same era (using the very loose definition of "the same era"). ~Mel
ADAMANDI GENERAL INSPO:
the usual dark academia medias (Maurice and Another Country were our favorites) and also attending undergrad at a dark academia ass college
Lots of folk horror! (The Wicker Man (1973) - was particularly fun for me in thinking about the Catholicism storyline -Mel)
Jordan Peele movies like Get Out and Us
For musicals, Passion was really inspirational in both tone and subject matter.
Lyrically, I tried to think about Falsettos and Sunday- very lyrically dense shows that portray the intricate vocabularies of a specific, often highly intellectual subculture. What shibboleths do academics use to identify who does and doesn't belong? And why is the word "shibboleth" so not singable :( I think really liking Matilda as a kid also had something to do with it. ~Mel
I looked at a lot of horror musicals for a research paper but didn't like them much. (Except Little Shop. I love Little Shop and kinned the dentist in high school.) So I guess that's inspiration but in a what-Not-to-do way? Which is how I stumble on a lot of "inspiration" - Elliot
ADAMANDI MUSICAL INSPO:
chamber pop, baroque pop (incorporating the orchestral/acoustic elements of "dark academia" movie soundtracks with alternative pop and rock that's associated with the dark academia aesthetic more thematically)
The Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer's music
swing, jazz, dark cabaret (for the 1930s vibe)
Murder ballads (e.g. American Murder Song)
also weirdly the soundtrack to the Yellowjackets TV show. I love the eerie vocals in them and the creepy use of body percussion/breath - Elliot
here's an early inspo playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2wjhDj3ZzR01ghNfB03sYC?si=6f38f4c5f2ee43c7)
GHOST STORY
(more of a reading list since we're thinking top-down for this one!)
M. Butterfly by David Henry Hwang. I will never write anything as bangin' as "Being an Oriental, I could never be completely a man." - Elliot
Powers of Horror: An Essay on Abjection by Julia Kristeva
Stranger Intimacy by Nayan Shah
A View From the Bottom by Tan Hoang Nguyen
Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife by Kareem Khubchandani
For musicals, Assassins and Parade
Arcadia and Follies are my touchstones for how the past and present can intersect onstage, and what got me excited about doing it ourselves! ~Mel
GHOST STORY MUSICAL INSPO
ragtime, jazz, Americana, blues, folk, country ! For inspo, trying to look for American folk music as close to 1880 as possible, but it's hard to find. Allowing myself to listen to stuff up til 1920.
Also alternative pop/rock/indie/whatever per usual. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0QwtUiwwZfc3TYMy0DarOq?si=cc9d5129d43b4aeb is my working inspiration playlist right now - Elliot

hiii clari!!! i hope you’re having a great day, i’m working my ass off at the moment since i’m moving and as i was ripping pages and paint off my wall with a scraper some thoughts popped into my head! i constantly have your touya-nii au! and bmb au! on my mind and i REALLY wanna make an au and story like the two of those but i don’t know where to start!
i was wondering how you thought of the two of those au’s? the plot and storylines, layout, etc. and how you came up with “break my bones but act as my spine” for the bmb au?
AAAA i hope this isn’t too much trouble of an ask!!!! (also omgomgomgomg if possible can i be the 📖 anon? LUV YOU MWAHH)
hi lovie!! <3 i am actually sick in bed with a steadily climbing fever LMAO but thank you sweetpea <3 i hope your day is going swell!!
oooh that’s a really interesting question! i get a lot of my inspiration from music, actually! (which is also why 97% of my fic titles are lyrics HAHA). i love making playlists that either fit a certain mood, vibe, or idea, or playlists centred around characters. usually then i just listen to them on repeat and let my mind wander!!! so for my main touya-nii series, it’s actually all inspired by save that shit by lil peep! each title is a song lyric that relates to the content of the piece itself:
i can take you there but baby you won’t make it back: touya can take reader into this relationship, but once she’s entered into it, she’ll be fucked up for life, there’s no going back to who she was before she started fucking her stepbrother;
all she want is payback for the way i always play that shit: all reader wants is for touya to feel an ounce of the hurt SHE feels when he’s off screwing around with other people—all reader wants is him, completely and wholly and entirely to herself;
do i make you scared? baby won’t you take me back: does touya’s psychotic behaviour and extreme possessiveness scare her? will she take him back now that he’s ready and willing to be fully hers and no one else’s?
also, just the vibe of the song itself set the tone and the atmosphere for the main series!! the same happened with 16 lines, also by lil peep, which is where the lyric break my bones but act as my spine comes from! for this one, it was more the vibe of the song than anything else. that, and the fact that i personally love organized crime bosses, love love triangles, and love the classic bodyguard babysitter falls for the person they’re protecting trope.
anyway, i know they’re kind of abstract, but that’s one of the ways my ideas bloom in my head! the other thing i would suggest is study narratives you enjoy: books, movies, video games—anything with a narrative that really struck a chord with you, and figure out why you enjoyed it and what you love so much about it. i believe it is equally as important to consume art as it is to create it!! feed your brain!! i can give you a whole list of some of my inspirations for those pieces, and that still doesn’t scratch the surface! read, write, watch, play, study!
additionally, i always say creativity is a muscle; we all have it, but you have to exercise it to strengthen it. as such, i’d recommend you do some character + narrative writing exercises n warm ups! those will get the ideas flowing, and you might end up developing a story out of something you thought up during one of those exercises! you can also look into fiction prompts and see if anything sparks your interest!
also, if you’d like it, i also have a lil masterlist of my writing advice that discusses a technique we used to continuously generate ideas in my screenwriting class! <3 ahhhh i hope this helps bb, i wish you luck on your journey and i support you creating your own work one hundred million percent. please, create <3
and yes!! you can absolutely be book anon!!! welcome to the anon club sweetpea ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

HEY WAITAMINUTE IS "underture" a reference to the music term "overture"? Mayhaps a Scanlan WIP?!?!
srryok bai now
Yup, kind of! It's the first CR I got an idea for - in March last year, for TLOVM, as I hadn't even watched most of the first campaign yet - and, incidentally, the only one out of five fics (/comics, if you count Scar Tissue) and 2 WIPs that doesn't begin with the letter S :P (not even on purpose, it just happened!)
Okay, so this fic exists because of three reasons:
• "Underture" is a title on the Who's concept album Tommy (and yes, a play on "overture"!) because the titular lad is Going Through It (and being made to taste drugs iirc). I discovered that album around 2002 and love the word.
• One of my favourite fics overall (like, all fandoms) is @plothooksinc's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003) "Underdark", which has Leo and Mikey fall under the city in complete darkness and try to make their way back to their brothers (and the surface), with Mikey as the 1st person narrator. It is hilarious and super tense and glorious and one of the great classics in the entire franchise's fandom, imo (or should be). Since I read it in the mid-to-late 2000s I had no idea that "Underdark" was actually a D&D term and was gobsmacked when I learned! The more you know :D
• And the main reason this WIP exists is because I essentially went "wait, what if "Underdark", but make it Vax and Scanlan". Of course, now it took a life of its own and there's going to be a Structure to it (start in media res, and then alternate "how we got there" chapters and "so what's happening in the creepy dark in the present" chapters). With a healthy dose of getting to know each other and going from essentially work colleagues to friends 💜
Here's a little excerpt from page 2, so literally the start of the fic (for context, Vax got washed down a mine and wakes up alone in a tunnel):
And, somewhere in the distance, a familiar voice.
“…help?”
Vax scrambled up, finding purchase on the slippery rock wall nearby, chasing sound rather than sight. The world in front of him was little more than blobs in varying shades of black. His ears were more reliable than his eyes right now.
“Where are you?” he called. “Are you okay?”
“Define ‘okay’?”
Vax bit back a tart comment. Damn Scanlan and his utter and complete inability to be serious.
“Like, not hurt? Can you move? What’s your position?”
“Not… great.”
“What do you mean?” Vax asked sharply, still half-feeling his way along the wall. Scanlan’s voice was getting clearer, or at least closer; it also sounded breathless, strained, small in a way it rarely did. Vax could only hope most of that could be chalked up to the sore throat he’d been complaining about for the last couple of days.
There was a scrabble and a gasp. When Scanlan spoke again his pitch had climbed a few notes.
“I mean I’m kinda hanging off a cliff? Or some kind of ledge, anyway. And uh, my fingers are getting real tired, if you know what I mean.” A short, nervous laugh. “I really really don’t want to lose fingernails. It hurts like a mother and it makes playing the lute really difficult.”
“Hang on and keep talking,” said Vax, straining his ears and trying to ignore his pounding heart. “I’m on my way.”
“Okay. Usually, not really a problem, but uh… Aw, crap.” There was a strangled sound, like he’d choked up on a cough, and some more scratching. “You know me, I talk – I talk real good. B—big fan of talking. I’m a great talker, too. Talker, singer, player – give me any instrument and it is on, baby. I mean I’ve never tried the double bass, you know, those big-ass cellos. Got curious but the bow alone is almost bigger than me, so that sucks. Plus they’re really expensive. Vax?”
“Yes?”
“Hurry?”
Vax practically ran around a corner and stared into the dark as hard as he could. The tunnel in front of him kept going in a downward slope, the ceiling gradually getting lower; there was a pathway of sorts along the wall, but most of the rocky ground seemed to disappear, as though erased from existence, into the starkest black Vax had ever seen. Rivulets of water trickled into it from the walls and the ground, slithering between protruding rocks, the only movement he could discern.
Wait… Not quite the only movement.
Vax bolted towards the fingers he could see grasping at a small rocky ridge a foot or so below the edge.
“Shitshitshitshit,” he could hear Scanlan chanting, his breathing now frantic and his voice gone beyond squeaky. “Vax…!”
Three things happened almost instantaneously:
Vax reached down and grabbed one of Scanlan’s arms just as his fingers lost their grip on the ledge.
In a last-ditch attempt to find a hold of something, Scanlan’s other hand shot up and closed around the clasp of Vax’s cloak.
Vax belatedly realised he’d miscalculated as Scanlan’s weight and his own momentum carried him past the edge and into the black.
(welp, they're dead :P no they're not but they certainly think so for a hot second)

Redacted Match up?
What song are you fixated on at the moment? What lyric or verse, and why?
I always go back to Black Mambo (Glass Animals). The little harp or whatever thing in the background creeps down. And it’s just a sexy-ass song. It feels sexy. The words are sexy.
What is your Enneagram type?
I don’t believe in personality tests ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Any of them
Do you love gargantuan Youtube video essays, and if so, which is your favorite and why?
I binge watch Adam Neely, Lindsey Ellis and Sideways.  Anything about movies, music, or movie music.
What is your go-to way to fall asleep?                Line up just the right sleep aid audios (mostly Redacted) at the bottom of my YouTube sleep playlist, hit play, let it run. I need it dark and silent and I need the ceiling fan on, no matter what season it is.
If you had to change your name, what would it be, and why?
Anne or Alice. Because of Anne of Green Gables and Alice in Wonderland.
What is your favorite of Redacted’s audios, and why?
The David Hoodie video is probably my most-listened to. It works as comfort, sleep aid, romance. It’s a big winner.
What Redacted boy holds no appeal to you, and why? Like, not the one you hate but the one who you don’t get the hype for. (I won’t judge, I promise.)  I didn’t always feel this way, but: I think Vincent is really boring without Adam. And he needs to find something to do other than Lovely.
Tell me about that one book/movie/tv show you know all the words to. I can recite most of It’s A Wonderful Life and The Devil Wears Prada in time with the movies.
Which Redacted boy are you platonically attracted to? Like- forget dating, which dude do you want to be your best friend?  I have NO romantic interest in Lasko, but I would die for him.
Do you have a go-to thing you ramble about when you’re tired, and if so, what is it? If I start talking about macro politics, it’s time to go to bed.
What’s your guilty pleasure media, and why? Any reality competition show, especially baking. It’s guilty because lots of people say “oh yeah it gives me ideas for what to make and I think I’m going to try making a chiffon cake or a genoise” or w/e and I’m like “I want to eat that. I don’t want to eat that”
And whatever else you think tells me about who you are! I run my mouth a lot but I’m surprisingly traditional
Tumblr media
I am loving this; I am loving the vibes here. It’s giving traditional, classic, no-nonsense, old-school romance which makes you a great match for James.
It’s the ‘not believing in personality tests’ bit. That’s James one hundred percent- not just because they're overhyped and usually selling something but because he, as a telepath, is privy to the depths and complexities of human thought and thus thinks they’re reductive. James would agree and love this about you… everything about you, actually; despite his job and situation, traditional is how he would describe his heart and desired life.
James would so love and enjoy a domestic life with you, coming home to your face and your mind. When you let him inside your head, he always hears something new to him, given he knows absolutely nothing about pop culture or music. He is more familiar with macro-politics, given his position at DUMP, so he loves hearing your sleepy ranting. James definitely misses all of that while he’s gone; maybe he brings a copy of Alice in Wonderland to read when he’s thinking of you which is, of course, all the time.
Song:
My baby here on earth/ Showed me what my heart was worth/ So, when it comes to be my turn/ Could you shine it down here for her?/ 'Cause my love is mine, all mine
I’m not quite sure what music James listens to, but Mitski feels not wrong. Though he’s an old-fashioned sort of guy, his music taste doesn’t necessarily skew old, swing, and/or classical. Mitski, to me, reads as timeless, and I think she has this quality that appeals to everyone including James. This song is also so lovely, so mournful, so romantic, I think it’s a perfect track for the two of you missing each other while he’s away.
Runner-Ups:
Damien is a runner-up for a lot of the reasons I like you with James except I like James’s stoicism for you versus Damien’s tsundere nature. Aaron, I like for you because I can clearly imagine the two of you watching “The Devil Wears Prada” and you pointing at Miranda, telling Aaron “that’s you.” That tickles me pink; he’d pretend to hate that but would love it so much.
note: for you my adored you know who you are and I know who you are and I hope I made you consider smiling today I love you
Read this post and send me an ask if you’d like a match-up of your own! 💌

I don't remember if i've done this with you yet but!!! Anonymously asking the people I follow to infodump about something that makes them happy part i don't remember?
(I like giving people the chance to talk about their favorite things and it does me a learn)
hii i love this so much
i’m gonna be so honest i’m an extremely boring person w next to no hobbies or interests or skills BUT i do have a best friend who’s amazing and i love telling ppl about them
on here i’ve always called them sunny (get it sunny and moony ahah FUNNy they found it cute when i told them plus we have sun and moon matching tattoos now cause we also have polar opposite aesthetics and personalities) we’ve know each other for 10 years this august (holy FUCK that’s pretty much half my life) they’re a year older than me and we met in a composite class after i had moved states/schools and they had moved over from america a month prior. we in no means purposely tried to stay in each others lives for so long but have been forced together by the universe until almost 5 years ago we kinda said fuck it we’re stuck together and just became inseparable we went through primary school together high school together we even worked together briefly
they’ve had it rough for a while but despite every single thing thrown their way they push through and have created an amazing life for themself and i’m so incredibly proud of them. they’ve had so many ppl doubt them along the way and they’ve proven every single on of them wrong, none of their teachers though they’d graduate high school (and due to health complications most of them didn’t even think they’d make it that far) and they still did and they got accepted into university which they turned down for their dream job that they have now spent the past year climbing the ranks in by working their fucking ass off
before they started their current job they were a music teacher (oh yea forgot to mention they’re a classically trained musician and can play basically any instrument that isn’t brass) and within that job they worked with a lot of disabled kids and went above and beyond to make sure every single one of them got to indulge in their passion despite their limitations because they truely understand the importance of music and they know what it’s like to have something so important taken away from you
they are the strongest, most resilient person i know, they the first person i came out to on my own terms and have been the only person to stick by my side since the beginning, they’re so incredibly kind and gentle despite how unkind the world has been to them
i am so greatful to have them in my life and so proud to call them my best friend

End of Year Blog Update - I Got a Job!
Hello, Happy holidays! I’ve been on a sabbatical from blogging, as I haven’t posted in over a month now. I intend to resume in 2024, I feel it’s necessary to take breaks to prevent burnout and allow myself to develop in other ways in the mean time.
On the upside, I was accepted into RadioUTD! I will begin contributing blogs for the organization on campus, putting up album reviews and reporting on local shows in the area. This is big news as the general goal of this blog was to improve my skills and show my growth in the process of joining the organization. I worked my ass off for this job, and I’m glad I could prove to myself that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to.
Reflecting on my first semester of college, I accomplished many musical goals helping me lay down foundations for a path to success in 2024. I’ve discovered how music fits into my life with the move to a new city, finding the energy from local talent translating into a re-ignition of my desire to create music. I’ve taught myself how to express the emotions music invokes through the form of my blog, allowing me to understand creative processes into intentional meaning in music. I expanded my horizons with accepting new music types, learning to love genres such as jazz, classical, instrumental, and electronic. Finally I’ve made strong relationships with friends who share this passion in music, showing me there are people in this world for me.
Moving forward, I am finally starting a guitar class next semester. My desire to learn guitar is what jump started this entire project, and I am excited to take on what it’s like to play and create with an instrument. I also will become consistent with my writing, as my new position on campus will help me with my creative process in writing and overall keeping me accountable. In terms of this blog, I will continue to document my progress of the relationship with music, posting anything and everything I can to represent how I grow into the person I am. I’m not in this game for the money, the clout, or the recognition. As long as I know I have my support, I will not succumb or bend backwards to anyone, and continue to be truly authentic in the work I put out. I’m aware of what I’m capable of, and 2024 is a great opportunity to continue what I’ve started and accomplish big things.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way, I owe everything to the people who believe in me and support the authenticity. Til next year, take care and rock on. 💫

This Unhinged Watching of Libertys Kids and Making Comments While High Was Made Possible by Viewers Like You.
Thank you.
Postmaster General Franklin
Alright time for season two or what would be season two if this show was made for grown ups.
I know it’s a low budget kids show and all, but they couldn’t have even tried with Sarahs dress? At least make it look like she’s wearing panniers at least.
Oh yes wait a minute Mr. Postman.
Her parents are a hot couple. They’ll be even hotter when they reunite and she sees his beard for the first time.
Henri it’s not that hard to jump from a crate!
Ooooooooh a letter!
La Volpe!
Sir can’t you see the no parking sign.
Hodges is kind of fine
*guitar strings humming* Secret code
James you are too gullible I swear to fuc
AOL isn’t working James where’s my mail
YOU GOT MAIL
They’re picking at those letters like vultures
“Someone opened my nudes I was sending to my mistress!”
The British own AOL
King George going through all the mail to read all the hot gossip firsthand.
“If our colonial army possessed an ounce of your pluck, we’d have nothing to fear.”
Another road trip

Damn Ben F you a straight up g.
“I accept because I know it will piss off King George lol” 😝
Common Sense
Oh here we go. Another episode to enlighten Sarah.
Also, I feel like Sarah and Tom Paine would debate their differences and drink ale at the same time.
Tom Paine said fuck the rich I love him
I have no patience for patience— Honestly, my profile page quote.
I’M FRENCH
“FUCK KING GEORGE M’LADY”
Oh she’s insulted
To make a bowl of soup fly like that, his bones would need to be made out of steel.
Tom is a bleeding heart liberal
Moses is so unphased by Paines abrupt departure
Sarah’s a real boss businesswoman
Paine is me when I’ve had too much tequila
“WHO ARE YOU CALLIN A PUDDIN’ HEAD?” 😭🤣😂
James why. There’s nothing realistic about this at all. Ya’ll ain’t Mystery Inc.
Why did no one go to Bens shop first? Ain’t he the most popular guy?
“That’s good journalism.” He’s done with her.
Is that Sarah’s dress shop. She buys her dresses from that tailor.
Henry why are you chasing cats
That has to be one weak ass crate to cave in to the weight of a nine year old boy.
Sarah the fuck kind of complement is that.
Henris running a hustle. Huslin’ Henri
This is why being a woman is terrifying
He waited that long to go help her tf?
“You’re a woman Sarah. You’re not as free as you think you are.”
Common people don’t need kings
“We have night at home!”
Sarah knows Paines opposing views don’t make him deserving of being tarred and feathered and you do see she has empathy for him
Tom doesn’t give a fuck
Ok kids, pass these around to your neighbors and read them amongst your table mates.
Henris like “Damn he donating all of it?”
Rights of all men, and we mean only men. Fuck the rest of ya.
The Turtle

What do the sailors call General Howe!?
They really said lets go fuckin hard on the theme song
Do ya’ll think James and Henri have practiced mock British accents to annoy Sarah
Cookies and milk. A classic.
Oy it be a drunkin sailor
James we are not Mystery Inc
James are you suggesting that said sea monster wants to eat Sarah
“That’s more that I can swallow.” TMI SARAH
“We are journalists sir”
Henri Le Feva! Sounds like a Latin music star.
“I counted 900 holes” God damn it this is the most perverted episode ever
“We are going to blow up the redcoats m’lady.”
“Soldiers understand war m’lady.”
“James get out of the tank!” “You’re not my wife!” “I am your wife, get out of the tank!” “I’m in a tank and you’re not!”
Henri is more honest than James. It’s so wrong he’s keeping that info from her.
It’s time.
OH JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
GIVE US BLACK DICK AND WE FEAR NOTHING
That’s a nice ship. Be a shame if someone set it on fire.
This soldier looks like he’s in fucking preschool
“We were phishing sir”
“Is there anyone the boss doesn’t know!?”
Phishing for facts
Well James you fucked up
Make friends with the press
Imagine Sarah stood up on the boat during her outburst and they all fell in the water
Time to dramatically sulk in my colonial dress.
“I’m sorry you feel that way.” Uhhh gaslight much!?
She looks like she’s watching a battle from a castle in 11th century England.
Gonna poke some holes in your ship nbd
When you have a hard time controlling your character in the underwater levels.
Sarah how are you so compassionate like that after what they did.
“Nothing would change my loyalty to my friends.” That could be romantic if it pertained to just James.
The First Fourth of July
Ah yes, the origin story of why these apes called Americans are so obsessed with blowing shit up.
I need more posters for this show
Hessians are here
Imagine if England did win though
George why so sexy
Oh fuck the Brits invited Germany!?
Why is James alone with George Washington
Henri you dumbass
The Hessians are here ✨

Words have great power, especially if your girl wants you to propose properly.
Larry Daley was Thomas Jefferson before Night of the Museum.
NATM: Revolution Edition
Sarah you cunning beast
“Especially when defying a king.” Damn.

Sarah’s definitely a church girl but thankfully not an annoying church girl.
James go to Delaware so we can get this guy to vote
Bro don’t fall off your horse please
Get this man some oxygen
It’s only July 2nd

How did you come up with the idea to make TSOB?
You know, I’m surprised to say that I don’t think I’ve answered this question on Tumblr before!
The short version that I tend to tell people is this: I was bored at work one night, working the closing shift, and I had an epiphany. I thought to myself, “Isn’t it weird that I take so much comfort in terrible characters? Like Agamemnon, and Cartman-… wait a damn minute!”
Seriously, it occurred to me that Agamemnon and Cartman actually had quite a few similarities, and then I realized that Kyle would make an excellent Achilles, and the rest was kind of history.
The long version? Well, how much time have you got?
I can’t really pinpoint the moment when I got really into Greek Mythology, and Classical/Ancient Greece in general, but it’s been an interest of mine for several years now.
I spent hours just exploring Greece in Assasin’s Creed Odyssey (as well as taking detailed notes in the historical tour mode), watched so many YouTube videos, read a great many books, etc.
Reading was actually where my love for the Trojan War in particular began. Idk man, there’s just something about those characters, and that conflict, that I adore.
I could give you a list of contemporary novels I’ve read and really enjoyed, but you didn’t come here for book recommendations ahaha so I’ll spare you the details, but suffice to say it was the only thing I read about for like a year.
Fast forward through a really intense k-pop obsession (it’s still a majority of the music I listen to. I’m listening to Ateez as we speak) and I’m in the throes of a new interest. Fucking South Park.
I really did just, get the idea one day. I was around season 15 of my first time watching the show (though I had a ton of stuff spoiled already, hence why I made Heidi and Cartman exes), and I had just started reading fanfiction. I had no intention of actually writing the damn thing, but the more I spitballed ideas with a few select coworkers, the more I realized the thing needed to be written.
Who else but my crazy ass would write this thing, really?
I suppose I should also add another, small piece of inspiration. Right before getting into South Park I actually decided to be surgically sterilized. I won’t go into detail as to why I made that choice, but the idea crossed my mind while developing the story to have a side plot where the adults are losing their minds over all their condoms going missing (because, yah know, they were needed for warfare!) and the whole town gets caught up in this big debate over if the man or the woman has the responsibility to be sterilized, should a cis & straight couple choose to be done having children.
Obviously this would have been a Randy and Sharon heavy debate, and I’m glad I didn’t include it as a proper plot point. In my mind though it does still occur, the kids are just totally oblivious to it. Likewise, the adults are totally oblivious to how ridiculous their kids play war is getting, until of course there are real consequences to the whole thing.
There’s one bit that alludes to it, when Annie has gone to the little girl’s house to discuss getting her Switch back and the girl’s parents are arguing about something they ‘don’t understand’. A fun remnant of a plot point that didn’t quite make it in!
Anyway, I’ve already broken down the story beats and how they correlate with the original text in this post, though if you were wondering where Cartman and Heidi canonically get their inspiration, I like to imagine they binged this show while they were together. It’s actually a pretty entertaining retelling, I would definitely recommend it to a casual enjoyer of Greek Myths!
Wow, that was a lot! If you actually read all of that, thank you!
And thank you for this ask, friend! (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡
