“Ezekiel?” A voice calls out and the man shake out of his mind, Ezekiel almost curses as he turns his back at you to see who interrupted his day dreaming,

His smile falters.

“Whatever the fuck are YOU doing here?” He grabs her hand and drags her to the empty ground with him, his steps are fast, the woman doesn’t struggle at all.

She only follows behind him.

“What do you mean, Kiel?? This is a college. I’m surprised to see you here.” He halts and a familiar face stands in front of him.

“Why? I study here.” He rolls his eyes at her, all of his excitement was ruined thanks to his ex girlfriend.

“Maya….. fuck off.” He tells her off but the woman smiles, Ezekiel feels like throwing up. It’s too much, he’d rather be inside the halls, staring at you and day dreaming.

“Don’t be so mean, Kiel…. We’ll be seeing each other often now… and who was the girl you were hawking at huh?”

He clicks his tongue. “We broke up, get over it. And don’t you dare talk about her. None of your business!” He almost frowns as he leans close to her,

She makes him feel sick.

“I’ll find out eventually,” Maya, his ex replies, a smirk on her lips as she crosses her arms around her chest. “I missed you, babe.” She whispers.

Ezekiel rolls his eyes at her and pushes her away, “I have to leave.” He looks around and feels relieved for the first time in his at the bell ringing.

But his relief dies down quickly when he spots you looking visibly pissed, leaning against the pillar of the building,

Your cold eyes set on him.

He gulps.

He was fucked.

Megumi asked, holding up the signed parchment. "Yes", Kento responds curtly, eyeing Toji who has finally stopped fussing around in his restraints. "I can work with this", Megumi tells him, as the paper disintegrates. "See, that woman may have loved you. Loved you more than life itself even. But you didn't read the fine print. Look here". Megumi points to a clause in different lettering near the bottom of the sheet, stating that even in a moment of doubt, Kento would turn back. Kento scoffs in displeasure at the finding, again glaring at the tied witch. "Anyways, i can just do thisss", Megumi speak aloud as he nabs a new parchment, an old sea shell, and small empty container. "Take this." He hands Kento the shell. "Sea witch deals have to be a sort of exchange. So here. I'll turn you human, however. You must keep this shell with you, and return it into the water after you've... Married the woman. That's the condition.", Megumi explains. "That's... very simple and considerate... why so easy and simple?" Kento asks, skeptical. "I told you, I wanna piss the fucker off", he shoots another glare at Toji who muffles curses into his make-shift gag. DA Review Series: Vows & Vengeance

Here we are. The final review. The last little crumb of DA content I had to consume in my year-long journey to read, watch, play, and listen to all things Dragon Age before Veilguard's release.

For awhile there I didn't think I'd be able to to get it all done, but here we are with two weeks to spare. I don't know how I'm going to survive these next two weeks with no Dragon Age media, but I'm thinking of it as a sort of cleanse. A break to prepare mind, body, and spirit for what comes next...

Veilguard.

Title: Vows & Vengeance Writer(s): Will Melton and Jeremy Novik Publication Year: 2024 In-World Year: 9:45+ Dragon Verdict: I had a lot of fun with this series, despite its at times cringe-worthy writing and the occasional lore discrepancy. Is it a wellspring of lore and info? Not so much. But as an introduction to Veilguard's companions and key characters I think it's quite successful. But, successful doesn't equal necessary so you do you, boo.

Vows & Vengeance follows thief Nadia Carcosa as she tries to save her lover Elio from the Fade. He's stuck there thanks to a certain Dread Wolf and the artifact he surreptitiously hired her to steal — the Eye of Kethisca.

After Solas's ritual goes wrong (this dude is a broken record!) Nadia meets Drayden Kiel, a scholar and historian with a particular interest in the Fade. Their hunt for the Dread Wolf and Elio takes them through much of Northern Thedas, and each episode introduces one of the seven companions in Veilguard.

I found all of the companions incredibly endearing and wonderful. Harding is so sweet and kind, but also a bamf. Davrin is strong and noble, but also extremely charming. Taash is an absolute badass and I can't wait to see more of her dynamic in the group. And of course, Neve is a stunner and not just for her fashion sense.

Bellara's episode was an absolute delight — as a longtime fan of the Dalish, hearing one of the People stand up and speak out against their colonizers was very powerful.

Obviously I LOVED the Lucanis episode, even if Antivan nobility having British accents was buckwild. What we heard from Lucanis told us so much about his character and I can't WAIT to get to know him better, if you know what I mean ;) .

Emmrich and Manfred were such a joy to meet. Their dynamic is so sweet and the kindness just radiates from Emmrich. I can't wait to play rock paper scissors with my little bone buddy.

It was almost unfair, honestly, because the companions were so loveable and Nadia... Wasn't. I really struggled with her, for a lot of the same reasons I struggled with Katara in ATLA. But Nadia doesn't have the excuse of being a child.

Nadia came across as very impatient, oftentimes mean, and incredibly short-sighted. She oscillates between being a know-it-all and being utterly uninterested in understanding what's happening around her. I wasn't really rooting for her, sadly. She was just the vehicle this podcast used to introduce us to these other characters.

I must add here that I absolutely loved Drayden and would be more than happy to meet them in Veilguard or other Dragon Age media in the future. But I am glad Nadia's "retired".

I also feel really bad for Elio. I don't feel like Nadia really processed the fact that he died and that it was her fault (and also Solas's). Or at least, we didn't get to hear her process that. And so her eulogy/vow at the end rang a bit hollow for me. Her emotion and her grasp at closure didn't feel earned.

But! I do want to say that shoving all these characters into eight 45-minute episodes had to have been an INCREDIBLE challenge. And, when compared to other Dragon Age tie-in media, this one is definitely not bad. I know I'm glad I listened, and that my Thursday morning drive has been the highlight of my week for the last eight weeks.

But now it's over. Just like this review series is over. The only thing left to do is sit back and countdown the days until we finally return to Thedas!

I love the Story Thieves books so much you guys literally don't get it

This is basically little me going thru the books for the first time:

Book 1: Imma be honest, barely remember it and it is the one I reread the least. But it had such a huge impact on me.Being able to go in and out of my favourite books??? Why wasn't I half fictional too??? WHO IS THIS NOBODY GUY??! I wanna be Kiel Gnomenfoot too, he seems to have a cool life, no fair!!! I want to meet Charm. I need Charm. Wait- no, no way, Owen isn't going to really- HE'S ACTUALLY GIVING UP HIS HEART WHAT@??@

And sometimes, to this day still, I would see a random book on display at a bookstore and go "Wait a fuck damn minute- THIS WAS IN THE STORY THIEVES WASNT IT???"

Hello, I have a question about WMMAP, I heard there is a side story of Ezekiel moving on from Athy? Is that true? And may I have a spoiler about it if there is.

In the novel, there is 5 side-stories : one about Athy’s 18th birthday (focused on Lucathy), one about Athy and Lucas travelling to the world of Lovely Princess (mainly Lucathy too though there is some implied LP!Athykiel), one about Lucas’ past, one about Claude, and the last about LP!Lucas crossing dimensions!

In none of these is there anything that indicates that Kiel moves on from Athy… Because that happens in the main story!

At the end of the novel, Ezekiel realises that he had been unfair to Jennette (they had several fights by that point), who is in an hour of need.

So he decides to leave for the country-side with her until she gets better, instead of staying in the capital (with Athy, who pretty much rejected him several times by now).

Their last conversation goes like this, pretty much: Athy tells him to go “where he belongs”, and that Jennette is the one who needs him.

Ezekiel agrees, and adds that Athanasia is a strong person (and thus doesn’t need his presence). Athy points out there seems to be bitterness in his eyes, but that he seems relieved as well.

King’s love for Lispen (analysis)

Nothing proves to me how much the Demon King loves Lispen like this scene does

You might be thinking, “but wait, isn’t this the part where he gets so angry he PUNISHES Lispen?” 

Why yes, random stranger on the internet, it is. 

In fact, it is one of the few times when he’s so mad we can clearly see the anger on his face.

The only other time we’ve seen him with this expression was way back in the demon world in the flashback

But instead of doing THIS (killing)

He only did THIS (capturing)

Treachery always has the highest form of punishment in any society and institution. In historical times, betraying a ruler or high authority usually entailed torture, execution and crucifixion (see also: What the Tower did with Kiel).

But instead of any of that, all the Demon King did was simply send Lispen back to the demon world.

You can’t fool me. That was no King punishing a traitor. 

This was just a dad grounding his son for disobedience. 

We all like to say that Lispen is crazy for doing the things he did and expecting a positive result and response from the King... and I agree.

But a part of me also wonders what level of favour and status he had with the King before this for someone of his intelligence to have assumed that to begin with.

Sure Lispen may not have gotten what he wanted (and thank goodness for that), nonetheless, he did escape with his life and being which was already far more than he deserved from a political perspective.

Therefore, nothing proves to me that the King loves Lispen like this scene where he had very right and power to punish a traitor, but the maximum penalty enacted for his grievous crimes was just to send him back to his room world. 

(Like, he could’ve banished him to another dimension or something, but no. Just sent him back home.)

Honestly nothing makes me more curious and intrigued to see more flashbacks about the past of the demons’ world, their relationships, and what the @$%# went down back then like this scene does for me. 🙌

Good Ol' Acorn

“Is that- Ha! It is! Good Ol’ Acorn!” the snotty voice broke through the air of the busy sounds of the city. As soon as Anya heard it, her hair instantly stood on edge. Her head turned around trying to see if she could find him before he made his way to her. 

Fate was not on her side as a large arm wrapped around her shoulder, dragging her into a headlock. Rough knuckle found her skull, digging into the top of her cranium.  Anya’s teeth clenched and her eyes went into a squint.  Gods, she just wanted to get to the Bonecloaks and pick up some extra healing potions. It was supposed to be a quick stop and then right back to Elfsong to regroup.

“Ah…. good to see you again, Mr. Elthor, sir,” Anya forced a smile upon her face. Anya grabbed the arm around her neck and tried to pull it off. “Could you please let me go?” Anya’s pleading blue eyes tried to look to the other members of his adventuring party for help, but they all just stayed silent.  The rogue, Kiel and the mage Poppy both averted their eyes to the scene out of guilt. The cleric, Yertie, did not. There was a small smirk on his face. “And my name is Anya.”

“I was wondering where ya were, we got a job comin’ up and I would love to have Good Ol’ Acorn back at camp,” Anya could smell his putrid breath from here.

“I am actually rather busy, and do not plan to go back to my job as a porter any time soon,” Anya finally wrestled his arm off of her, pushing away from him with a small look. “It was a pleasure to see you but I am afraid I have to go now.” She could see her destination, the apothecary. All she needed was an extra few healing potions and then she would go back to meet up with the others. 

“When did you get so cold?” Elthor sneered.  “Ya run into an old friend and business associate and you don’t even hear what kinda job it is, I bet it is more important than whatever ya ot. Acorn.” 

“I assure you, whatever quest you have is nothing compared to what I have to deal with and I do not need to deal with you on top of it,” the words left her mouth before she could even process them, however she meant each one.  “Now good day,” Anya said as she tried to walk away. 

A hand grabbed her wrist. Elthor’s brown eyes glared daggers into her back. “Ya got some nerve now, don’tcha Acorn?” there was a snarl in his voice as he yanked her towards her. He grabbed the collar of her shirt. “I heard that you’ve gotten into some adventures- seems like that has made ya forget your place?” he pulled his fist back. 

“Unhand her.”

All eyes flicked towards the booming voice of the towering wood elf. Halsin’s arms were crossed over his chest and his amber eyes were threatening to become alight with true primal fury. 

Anya had seen Halsin angry before, when he yelled at Kagha for all her actions and his feelings towards this hopeless city. But this was different. 

“Ohhh look at you! All big and scary,” Elthor said as he laughed. However the hand on Anya’s collar did drop her as all of the human’s attention was on Halsin. 

“Explain yourself.”

Elthor looked at him before he burst into laughter. “It ain’t nothing for ya to worry about,” without a care in the world, Elthor plopped a hand down on Anya’s shoulder  “This is all just some play fighting among old friends, you one of Acorn’s new friends?”

Halsin grabbed Elthor’s forearm in a vice grip and yanked it off of Anya’s shoulder. His other arm was quick with Anya, grabbing one of her shoulders and pulling her into his embrace. “You do not deserve to call Anya a friend, that much is clear to me. You would be wise to get out of my sight before I do something I won’t regret.” 

Elthor’s carefree expression changed to utter fear. He cleared his throat and yanked his arm away from Halsin. “Let’s go. Now.” he was the quickest to scurry away. Yertie was the only one who didn’t immediately follow, standing there for a moment in surprise to look at Anya and Halsin, before he followed with the others. 

“Halsin…. Thank you,” Anya said as she averted her eyes away from his face. She pushed her body a bit closer to him. 

As soon as the group was out of sight Halsin looked down at Anya and moved to look her over. “Who were they, my heart? Did they hurt you?”

“I am fine, they were… frequent clients,” Anya said. Elthor and his group were one of the first adventuring parties to have her as their porter at camp. “Elthor has never been…. The most agreeable man.” 

“Hmmm I believe that may be an understatement,” Halsin said before letting out a sigh. “I am glad you are alright… I hope I did not come off as too protective. I know you are capable of handling yourself,” Halsin said as he began to move away from her.

Anya grabbed onto one of Halsin’s hands. “No, I am glad you came when you did. I… never have been the best at standing up for myself,” she said as he moved her other hand to be holding the same hand. “Thank you.”

Halsin’s lips curled into a fond smile as he bent down, giving the top of her head a kiss.  “I will be there for you whenever you need me, my heart,” he took one of her hands into his. “Now, I believe you had an errand to run at the Apothecary, correct?”

“You are,” Anya smiled as she pointed her finger towards the destination. “Onwards, then!” she declared as she began to walk forward, tightening her grip just a little on Halsin’s hand.

I have been thinking about this for a while now. We all know Athy likes pretty faces and that she's easily swayed by the two mls and we also know that Athy hasn't realized her feelings for Lucas at the moment (this is not about them) but I am more curious at how she truly feels for kiel in the past which is the childhood years up to the time she was at the Alpheus estate. I used to think she actually liked him at the time like a little crush because she keeps asking Lucas to send her to him a few times and always bickering with Lucas about how kiel is actually a gentleman not a pretentious one (chap 75) so I was like, yeah she likes but then re-reading their moments in the garden: in kiel's pov it's a special memory that he always talked about it to Athy how much it means to him but then Athy's pov it's an embarrassing one (chap 64) and whenever he brings up the past it makes her uncomfortable. So it used to confuse me until I read it again where she stayed at his estate and she always says he's a good babysitter and he's as considerate as before (when he helps them with anas). So I just came to the conclusion that maybe she was fascinated (if there is ever the right term for that lol) by his kindness and his face card is just a plus point and she never actually liked him and this reminds me of the tv show of my country the "Maria Clara and Ibarra" where the main protagonist was sent inside the book by her professor and there she she meets the male protagonist and live with him for a while as his cousin, and I find this similar to Athy, the main protagonist never received a love from her father and the male protagonist of the book is very kind to her that maybe at some point she actually like him but at the end she herself realized that what she felt for him was familiar love (so he's a father figure to her). After comparing Athy to her it makes sense to me. And when you pay attention to Athy whenever Lucas did something good for her reactions are very to kiel, and that the one she loves is Lucas. It has always been Lucas. I wish their relationship was emphasized more in manhwa tho. Oh but I don't know about the novel, there was a scene where she said she never allowed herself to like kiel (I'm not so sure about this, I didn't read the novel) so at some point she actually liked him even just a little🤏🏻 (like 0.01%?). Who's with me?🙋🏻‍♀️ I'm actually here for this.

Honestly, I'm stucked into thinking about Lucathy ever since the main story has been completed.

I don't think Athy felt anything for Ijekiel (or Lucas, for that matter) when she was that little. She only met Kiel twice (when she first saw Jennette, and again shortly after), so it's not like that encounter had a huge impact on her (if anything, seeing Jennette impacted her way more). Plus, she was very little (or old, if you count her real age).

I do think she started to feel attracted to him after he came back to Obelia. But I also don't think she had that much contact with him while she stayed with the Alpheus. That never happened in the novel (which I like better, since it shows how independent Athy was surviving alone with nobody's help, but I get why Spoon made that narrative decision), so it's something just manhwa-canon. And she mostly spent her time with Jennette. Athy did have a lot more encounters with Ijekiel in the novel, and those novel-only scenes impacted her more. I actually wish we had more Kiel scenes in general, he was great in the novel. Though yes, I agree that the main thing that stopped Athy from seriously considering him romantically was Jennette. In that sense, Athy prioritized Jennette's feelings over her possible romantic interests.

Anyone who has started fights over ships and/or characters has been blocked by me already, and will be swiftly blocked if I see it, so that's not an issue. It's dumb to deny that Athy felt attraction towards Ijekiel, though not everyone agrees to which degree. And it's also dumb to deny that Athy fell in love with Lucas and ended up with him. Anyone can ship whatever they want as long as people aren't toxic to others about it.

Well the lazy way of doing this is the villain in Die Hard is Hans Gruber who was German and Kiel is in Germany. I could also be like: Oh Bruce Willis was born in Germany and yeah. But I love making things more convoluted than that...

So, we all know that Bruce Willis is in Die Hard, but an even more important role was his role as Tony Amato in one singular episode of Miami Vice, which we all know stars Don Johnson in it, who we all know was in Rian Johnson's movie Knives Out, which we all know. Ok I'll stop, even if this is just for you. You know actually I really wanted to connect this to Knives Out and then to 10 Things I Hate About You or 3rd Rock from the Sun because of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but I have changed my mind, as it turns out Edward James Olmos is in the same Miami Vice episode as Don Johnson. Okay, so Edward James Olmos is Admiral Adama in Battlestar Galactica, which also stars Michael Hogan, from your favorite TV show ever, Teen Wolf. BUT, he is also in Skyrim as General Tullius. Skyrim also has Christopher Plummer as Arngeir, who was also in Knives Out. But that's not as fun as connecting to Charles Martinet, who was in the Mario movie despite not playing Mario but whatever. Now, as much as I love Charlie Day and want to connect through him, I feel the need to connect through Crisp Rat, but I'm resisting that cause I had a revelation. Charlie Day is in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, starring Danny DeVito, but Kim Whalen was in an episode of that show, and I love Starkid. Corey Dorris is also in Starkid and he was in an episode of Future Man, which has our icon, Josh Hutcherson, who was in Journey to the Centre of the Earth with Brendan Frasier, who was in the Mummy with Rachel Weisz, and she is married to Daniel Craig, bringing us BACK to Knives Out. Am I losing track of the mission?? NO!!!! So, Knives Out has many amazing cast members, but one of the more iconic ones, is Frank Oz. I just realized that my goal was to eventually bring my connection to the Lion King, and I can easily do that now cause Frank Oz is Yoda, but also that's lame cause I wanted to bring it to Matthew Broderick, but let it be known that we could just do Frank Oz to James Earl Jones at this point. So, Frank Oz was in Star Wars with Mark Hamill, who is in many, many things, such as Avatar, which features Dee Bradley Baker as Appa. He is also Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb (for some reason my brain broke and almost wrote Despicable Me). Phineas and Ferb features Thomas Brodie-Sangster, which is always very funny to me, but it also has Ashley Tisdale, who was in the wonderful movie, 2009's Aliens in the Attic. Aliens in the Attic features many people, including Austin Butler, someone who was in the After movies, Tim Meadows, and Andy Richter, who played Mort in Madagascar. Ben Stiller is in Madagascar, who was in Night as the Museum, which has Rami Malek, who was in Bohemian Rhapsody with Joe Mazzello, who is in Jurassic Park (AND a movie called Star Kid). Jeff Goldblum is in Jurassic Park and also in Thor: Ragnarok, which also has Sam Neill in it, but unrelated to the goal at hand. Thor has Chris Hemsworth, who was in 2009's Star Trek, starring Chris Pine, who was in Wonder Woman with Robin Wright, who is in the Princess Bride with Cary Elwes, who was in Psych. Since they are not in the same episode, James Roday Rodriguez is in Psych, and so is Ally Sheedy, who was in War Games with Matthew Broderick.

To answer your question, yes, I came to the official conclusion that I really needed to get on track or this would literally last forever. Crazy how I can get myself to do this and not my homework. Ignore the fact that it took me over a month to respond to your question. Matthew Broderick is Simba in the Lion King, which also features Nathan Lane as Timon. Nathan Lane was in The Nutcracker: The Untold Story, which I know about solely because of Danny Gonzalez. Nathan Lane plays Albert Einstein in this movie, and so, within the lore of the movie, we could accurately state that because Albert Einstein exists within the movie, so does Max Planck, who knew Lise Meitner. Part 12 of my RF4 child redesigning project, for our grand finale we have Amber!

For Amber we have Ambrose, and the twins Aspen and Cedar!

I wanted to go for nature-related names, so sorry if they sound like names a white lady would give her children. Ambrose is because of Ambrosia, Amber’s monster form (and friend). I figure she would like to honor her friend very unsubtly.

Ambrose is very responsible and usually helps Lest out on the farm. He enjoys growing flowers and wants to be a florist like his mother when he grows up. He likes to give out flowers as gifts in various forms (wreaths, bouquets, crowns, pressed flowers, etc), and thinks deeply about what each flower means before giving them away. When he isn’t helping his father out he watches his little brothers and keeps them out of trouble. And while Ambrose is fairly outgoing, he tries to avoid auntie Illuminata like the plague (she overwhelms him).

Aspen and Cedar are completely inseparable. They enjoy playing innocent pranks around town, like switching clothes and pretending to be each other, usually to confuse Lin Fa or Xiao Pai, and sometimes even their own mother. The twins are very nosy and are terrible at keeping secrets. Much like Kiel, if they hear a piece of gossip the whole town will know about it within the hour. They are naive, but still young and in need of guidance, but luckily they live in a very supportive town.

Aspen and Cedar also have butterfly parts like Amber, but since they’re children they haven’t sprouted their wings yet!

I picked colors from Amber’s clothes (and I like her boots, if you couldn’t tell). She has a very cute design despite looking a little too young for me to be totally comfortable with her as a love interest. It was a little uncomfortable for me to make this, but I wasn’t going to leave out any love interests, since I know people do like her as a love interest even if I don’t.

I do like how these turned out though, especially Ambrose, but I also have a bias towards freckles.

But anyhow, thank you all for supporting this project! I’m glad that I finally got to see this through and finish it! Maybe I’ll sketch some of these kids for funsies, but for now I’d like to go back to working on my webcomic, so see ya!

My WMMAP character tier list

It’s been months since WMMAP ended so I decided to do a wmmap tier list for funsies.

Tbh, not much has changed since I last did this tier list thingie but I definitely became more... specific with how much I like and dislike certain characters.

Ana’s, Jennette’s, Kiel’s and Roger’s tiers are pretty obvious tbh since I’ve consistently made a lot of posts about them generally. They’re the threads still connecting me to wmmap to this day.

Not much to say about Felix. I just think he’s neat. 

I like Lily and Claude. I don’t simp for Claude as much as I used to anymore tho lol. Nowadays, I just wanna imagine him as an actual dad after he got his ‘redemption arc’... I just like to clown him mostly tbh. As for Lily... I wish we’d have gotten more of her since she is literally the only person who’d always sided with Athy in LP and she’s devoted her entire life caring for Athy. 

Athy, I’m on the bridge of the ‘like’ tier and the ‘you’re okay. we have no beef tier’ because, yeah I like her. She’s the protagonist for god’s sake. But I don’t really... worship her like other Athy enjoyers lol. To me she’s alright. 

I still like Diana but I feel detached from her character tbh. Would have loved her more if she had more screentime... and some personality than just being Claude’s past lover and Athy’s mom who loves her even in the afterlife. But chapter 100 is absolutely beautiful. Loved that chapter so much.

Lucas is mostly meh for me. I mean, yeah he has his good points but overall I’m just not that huge of a fan of his character in the manhwa. Maybe I’d have liked him more if he has more character development. Also maybe if he has friends he wants to protect then I’d have bumped him up to the ‘we have no beef’ tier.

Penelope Judith... she doesn’t deserve being on a proper tier ahsdhcfhsh. She’s just a character I really dislike across fiction. Is she hot? Yeah but she’s not my type of hot. I often stay away from any fan content involving her but I kinda like seeing fanart of her being a mom to Jen. Penelope stans, you do you tho cause you guys are so chill! Love you guys <3

The warm breath on your neck brings you back to your senses as you push Gojo away, grabbing your purse in walking fast-paced back to you car. He ran after you, you could hear his shoes as he ran, the splashing of puddles from the days earlier rain. As you continued to walk away you stared at the ground beneath you, the colors and reflections of nearby lights and colors making you come further into your senses. You just kissed... Gojo Satoru. The man you swore to yourself when you were a teenager, that you would never love. The man you swore was a horrible influence and told him to leave you alone. The same man that became your friend and weaseled his way into your heart so many years later. Your steps came to a halt and you turned to look at him. His cheeks dusted pink and his breath slightly labored, the action of coming for you wasn't enough to make *the* Gojo Satoru breathless, but your kisses left him a hot and flustered mess. "What the hell was that Satoru?!", you hiss and he stares into your eyes before lowering his gaze to his feet. "I-I don't know", He admitted, his voice uneven, unsure. "I've never just... Done that before....", he rasped out. In truth, he never cared much for any woman or man who chose to flirt or become close with him so he never had such a sudden compulsion to just... Kiss someone. "You- You're such an idiot Gojo Satoru!", you yell at him now, and he flinches. You step closer to him and grab his face. "Look at me.". You tell him. His blue eyes met yours. Those eyes, those deep, sparkly blues that seemed to hold hopes, wishes, and dreams in them, now hold tears. You blink a few times, wondering if he is really teary eyed, and he is. "Explain what happened back there.", you said, not giving in to the display of tears. "I just... you... you are...".. He stumbles over and searches for words and after a moment of gathering his thoughts, he stares so deep into your eyes you figure he must be looking into your soul. You feel so seen, so exposed just from him staring right back at you. "You're... perfection." He finally speaks and you stare, stunned. "Gojo we can't-", you begin but he cuts you off "When we fight, we fight like lions, but we can love too. Can't we? We are human aren't we? The jujutsu world has already taken so damn much away from us, can't we have each other? Can't we love? Can't we?!", his words come out passionate but frustrated. "I-I don't know..." Your words trail, you weren't ready for... whatever this was from Satoru. "Go home, Satoru.", you tell him, tired and wanting to first get some rest and full sobriety in before even processing what the hell to say or do next. "But I just-", "No, Toru. Go home. We can... talk later. I need time to think. Okay?", you cut him off now and he slumps slightly before nodding. "I can... get another kiss first right?" He looks like a kicked puppy as he asks and you give him a sweet peck before getting into your car. Shit.
