I may have disappeared for a maybe long while

And that is because of 2 reasons:

Except there is a 3rd one and that is,,,,,,, I MAY have been working on a little Undertale AU,,,,, and then made an OC out of it,,,,

The AU will get it's own post and i'll reveal as much info as needed at the moment to explain who even is this new character that will be one of my faces on this blog (because i'm gonna have 2 OCs representing me. yeah- second one's design is still W.I.P (nevermind this is future me i finished the design but i might make a separate post for it))

It might take me a little while (or until i get asks about it) for me to open up about the selfship shenanigans, but meanwhile, here are some bits of explanations and stuff!

which AU is this menace from?

OuterRenaissance. It's still being fleshed out (asks would help a lot), and I plan to later on make an outcode expanded version, and even have some basic stuff for that version. But in simple words it's Outertale but in addition of the space themes, i added themes of the Renaissance historical period, as it brought great advances to science; including astronomy!

Backstory???

Its AU died (destroyed by Error), and it almost did too, but i possessed it and fused my soul over time with its own using my creator powers and it is now technically a walking corpse puppeteered by me so I can interact with the UTMV, while also forcing it to change its form into the Doppelganger form; giving it the ability to, well, shapeshift. Also ink snas selfship shenanigans i haven't properly written yet (yooo two walking corpses that love eachother!!!!!1!!!1). that's the fewest words i can put it in

IS THAT A 'THE STARRY NIGHT' REFERENCE???

Yes. Yes it is. and fun fact: the ship between Io and Ink is named exactly that. The Starry Night. how clever of me, i should get a prize

Does it have a personality?

Yup. I just don't know how to describe personalities, but here's an attempt at that.

Io is a passionate artist, but struggles with some degree of perfectionism driven by the pride of its art skills which are, by far, its best ability. It also tends to be (sometimes dangerously) kind-hearted at others. It might act one of two ways in social spaces: kind of awkward, not talking much, OR ABSOLUTE MENACE as in SUPER SILLY. No in-between.

Also, it is a quick learner, and could be considered quite intelligent. Thing is ... It carried over speech from the Renaissance time period and is still adapting to modern words. A bit of an overthinker too, which can lead to communication issues, and tends to plan elaborate strategies to perform the simplest of things...sometimes not even following them.

Pronouns/gender identity?

Io, like me, goes by it/its pronouns and identifies as non-binary! (Subject to change as I occasionally explore my gender identity)

And here's some trivia to finish this off!

Io, due to being puppeteered by me; a Creator, also has the powers of one, but either doesn't use the powers at all or uses them in subtle ways to try and steer things to its/my favour. It may sometimes disguise it as "art magic" shown in these doodles i made a bit ago:

Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to Talk About Transformers, I will take it graciously and with extreme amounts of vigour and rambling!

Under the cut because of the aforementioned vigour and rambling.

To answer your first question: I'm largely into the IDW (2005) comics, Animated, and Aligned (TFP) continuities! I've also started watching the original G1 cartoon and Cyberverse which has been really fun!! (I'm absorbing so much information. I'm also idly keeping up with the new Skybound comics, which have me yelling screaming crying etc.)

As for characters... I would say I have no favourite/s except I do also own 1 (one) Transformer and well. for something that basically turns into a brick, he gives me immense amounts of joy.

But yes, other than Soundwave, (who has charmed me in every continuity I've seen so far!!) it's a constantly rotating roster because there are SO many characters to think about (which differ from continuity to continuity!!) and I am having the time of my LIIIIFE!!!

It's so funny going from UT/UTMV to TF because UT fans have a lot of focus on Versions of Literally The Same Two Guys, whereas TF has an overabundance of options to pick and choose from (I love both!!! I just think it's very funny in comparison whfjfbek)

Anyway, I am a big fan of a lot of characters from IDW and particularly MTMTE because they're all a bunch of little FREAKS and I love them. But! If I had to pick a few from there, I'm particularly fond of (in no particular order) Drift, Whirl, First Aid, Ratchet, Swerve, Brainstorm, ALSO NAUTICA I love her dearly!!!!

I'm also a Tarn girlie at heart u_u I am not immune to "big bad dude with a mask and a sexy voice just so many problems". Also I have a special place in my heart for Spinister and Pipes rhfjfbejfbk (I love the Scavengers [similarly, a bunch of little freaks] and Pipes makes me SO SAD. WAIT- ANOTHER CHARACTER THAT MAKES ME VERY SAD: IDW SUNSTREAKER. (He was my first taste of the Horrors of the IDW comics and that STUCK with me)

Similarly, I think the Constructicons (+Prowl in IDW) and Combaticons have SUCH fascinating dynamics hjsjkhksjdfh,, combiners got me going crazy... I NEED to find out more about the other combiner teams. It's a fascinating concept.

As for other continuities... Animated has me sick over Blurr, Shockwave and Swindle, and... well, Optimus has intensely kissable lips in this series. Why did they make him like that. I'm also very fond of TFA!Starscream- he was my favorite back when I watched the series as a kid and it was very fun seeing him with fresh eyes LMAO

Fun fact: TFP was a large part of what got me to actually sit down and check out Transformers but... I actually still haven't watched the series itself (つω⊂* ) I just saw TFP!Soundwave and went "OH okay, I love him and need to find out more" which quickly expanded into me going on a deep dive into Transformers, and resurfacing about a month later having read all the IDW 2005 comics and about an equal amount of fanfic for various continuities whfjgbjrbfk,, BUT even though I haven't watched it yet- TFP already has me hooked on Knockout, Ratchet (and Soundwave ofc LMAO)

And the last answer; unfortunately I don't have any TF OCs (ᴗ_ ᴗ。)........

I have many Thoughts but haven't put together any designs because I want to get better at drawin mechs before I jump into making my own! Hopefully that way I have a better idea of how to put em together LMAO. That being said, I Am in fact plagued with ideas!! Like!!! I'd loooove to take a crack at trying to put together a sailplane/glider OC!

Or!! A pair of mechs, one whos an imaging satellite and the other a telescope! (Real starcrossed lovers type deal... both meant to only watch from afar, both longing to be in the other's place/by their side)

I also have a tradition of making sonas that have wings but can't fly, so I kinda want to make a TF sona with a similar concept- either just with good ol doorwings, or maybe a flier with a messed up gyro which causes problems staying upright in the air 🤔

For those who do not know, Splatter is my OC! One that is very dear to my heart in fact. She started off as a Undertale AU/UTMV OC but has since graduated to also have her own original story!

Though since my UTMV phase has now come back to haunt me (/pos), that version of her I feel still exists as well and I’m currently exploring it further.

Anyways, you want Splatter Facts™️ right? I have plenty! Though the ones I’ll give today are applicable to both versions of her ;3. Let’s begin!

Her current age is 9!

Her current height is 3’0”!

Her favourite food is cheesecake!

She’s very adventurous, and loves visiting new places!

She does not have a favourite colour because she’s afraid if she picks a favourite she’ll make “all the other colours sad”

Loves to make new friends! If you aren’t scary then she won’t hesitate to try and befriend you!

She likes to climb up things and hang upside down from her tail a lot!

She lives with her adoptive father (who’s UTMV counterpart might be pretty easy to guess if you just ah, ahem, look at my blog 👀) and two uncles, and adores them more than anything else in the world!

She likes to draw in her spare time!

She’s a bit of a pacifist to a fault, often finding it hard to distinguish between herself actively hurting someone and self defence 😔. (It’s something she has to unlearn over the course of her story)

In addition to that, she also really doesn’t like hurting people’s feelings, which, again, can come at her detriment sometimes.

She has a sort of “birthmark” on her back fur (because yes her entire torso is covered in the floof) that’s a bunch of deer spots (the kind of markings you���d find on baby deer/fawns) clumped together into a sort of splatter shape. Which is how she got her name!

That’s all the info I can think of for now, but after this ask I think I’ll definitely give out more specific information on both of her versions in the future!

🎻- Where do you look when you need some inspiration?

Hmm... I don't ever really look for inspiration per say, which sounds really pretentious, but it just sort of finds me. Usually in what I've read before, things that I'm passionate about or have experience in and such : I notice that a lot of my stories are based around overcoming some powerful oppressive entity, weird, right?

But on a smaller scale I'll find inspiration in my own life, I could write about my brothers, I could write about my walk home, I could write about the history of my community.

🏡- Would you live in the world you created? Why or why not?

Babe that depends on which world. I'll go with my most fleshed out, original one. So, the world of the PuzzlePeaces.

I'd say yeah, I purposefully wrote that world to be kind of a pipedream of what I want the world to look like, but with a whole lot of fantasy sci-fi elements. (side note I HATE describing my things with those labels, I think it's reductive to what I got going on) and I mean. Who wouldn't want to live in a world where being queer is just normal, y'know? Practically free from discrimination except from... A few elements. Yeah, theres lore reasons why everything is all good except for like one sector of society. But like. Look man I'm not giving you spoilers.

Which character is NOT like me.

Seriously though, I can't think of any character that is EXTREMELY like me, I spread out character traits that I have through like. Everyone. Transness, aro/aceness, similar trauma, being an artist, being blond or blue eyed, stubbornness, neurodivergance etc etc are things you'll see in my OCs, just not all in one character.

If you wanna get more general, I project a lot more onto UTMV characters, and if you combine my versions of Error & Ink it's basically just me.

My Turn >:)

1. It's between Horror (Sour-Apple-Studios) and Killer (Rahafwabas) I can't decide... Whether you should live or die-

- They're Sillies Your Honor

- Horror's story is unique, his AU isn't simply "Oh we're scary!", there's a whole reason things turned out a certain way and he's super unpredictable as a character! He has a weird moral compass and you'd feel bad for him if he wasn't trying to slice your ear off... Also he's objectively pretty... 👉👈

- Killer is also unpredictable, weird, and very complicated as a character, you have layers, upon layers, upon layers of attributes and issues on this man, he's almost impossible to understand and in my quest to learn, I ended up adoring him <3

2. Uh, Uh, Uh... Nightmare... (Joku) Yeah... Not canon one though he's... A pelvic hole...

- Love his tragic story and the concept of DreamTale is simply exciting, this also includes Passive!!!

- Don't stray too far from canon, I like Dark's version because he's like, still doing his thing but also defying fate by being the best boss ever??? Hell Yeah.

- Joku did an amazing job making a hatable character but the fans had their own plans as per usual 😭

3. I wanna say I love all skeletons equally but still, Ink (Comyet/MyeBi)

- I guess I'd be call a kinnie because I do relate to him so much like???

- Issues with regulating emotions, hyper and enthusiastic, especially about art/creations, enthralled by the Multiverse(s) and the limitless capacity of creativity, it's all so wonderful! And also being forgetful, annoying, and stupid sometimes 😭

4. I honestly can't decide so I'll go with Dust/Murder (Ask-DustTale) because he's been catching my attention lately

- I used to not like him back in the day because he was everywhere and Idk, I just didn't understand him much as a newbie

- He grew on me, he's a very intricate character and has a lot of trauma and issues to unpack, which, I don't think canonically he would have that chance, he's an overall sad but lovely guy

5. I'll go with Cross (Jakei) because I don't give him enough attention </3

- Also a very layered character, lots has happened, he's uber unique

- Angsty and edgy but also fun and silly! And very redeemable, I feel like he's the most normal one when it comes to behavior and mental state, still, uber trauma to explore, and most willing to accept affection out of the edgies! And least likely to kill you-

- UnderVerse inspired my second OC/My first UTMV OC

- He might've lost his universe BUT HE GOT A WHOLE MULTIVERSE TO TELL HIS STORY!!!

Bonus: some years ago, when I was little, my top five were probably Blue, Ink, Dream, Geno, and maybe Cross, oh how I've switched teams 😭)

I love this character, I have defended his case for a long time~ he’s so complex and gets a lot of flack for being how he is— and a lot of people’s only impression of him is from Underverse but even that Ink version is misunderstood in his actions, I think it’ll be cleared up in future episodes~ he’s chaotic, afraid of being forgotten and alone again, and his backstory is just so sad man :,) he gets depicted to be an evil scapegoat, which in my own opinion does a disservice to what he could be~ and I hope to show ppl that with my upcoming fics 😆💜

So first I do love canon aroace Ink, I feel like that’s the most true to form for him, it works very well narratively too (aside from, haha, soulless reasons). I just have head canons on “what ifs” I use for angst and cute fluff scenarios that are just fun to see him in Xd Error or Dream are who I go for with him, but I’m open to several others thanks to artists I follow who expand on the ideas (like Ink with Gin!Sans or x-Tale!Sans)~ I alternate between having him uninvolved romantically and involved depending on the story I’m telling and the interesting relationships that are relevant

Non-romantic OTP is also Errink XD they’re just chaotic and a good fit for each other’s…quirks XD their banter and rival relationship is fun to write and read~ (His friendships with Dream and Blue are my bread and butter, it hurts to see any of them against eachother in fics :,) aaa let him care about friends! the vials help him have a normal range of emotions that are his, even if they’re allotted without a soul present)

Unpopular opinion: people constantly do him dirty 😂 for every fic of him being his decent but still chaotic self, I’ve seen 6 with him kicking babies (not literally—but I wouldn’t put it past those Inks). Some ppl also hate that he’s a Sans…but don’t care to see why he is, or see his backstory~ People can have their own opinions, I just think he gets a lot of unnecessary targeting that is out of spite more than genuine interest ^^’ he’s a gremlin I am not denying that, but he’s not evil! I get having to do it if you wanna make the bad guys look better; I disagree, but we’re allowed to both do our own things! and at the end of the day it’s just fiction squabbling, not serious

Uhhh I’m not sure? I adore “canon” Ink as he is, and his story ^^ Comyet is a sweet person who just created an amazing piece— a nice counterbalance to Error for UTMV stuff and the potential for a greater story because of that! Ink is very versatile character, and a fantastic narrative tool that makes the AUs feel more connected. He’s a vessel for typing the whole thing together and something I would argue a story like the one the Undertale fandom’s Multiverse needed. The UT fandom is unique in that all it’s AUs form a greater story to a whole, with shared characters and “ocs” created being traded around and molded and accepted into the bigger narrative like one giant group rp. It was as if it was destined something like him would come along, and I’m very glad he exists for it. He walks around as almost a parallel to Flowey: a soulless being who found a way to still feel and how that effects his relationship to other people. How he decides to still act mostly good even in his chaotic neutral way, but he’s learning morality without an inborn compass for it. It’s probably one of the deeper reasons I love Ink, with all his little quirks. Aside from him being complex and fun to write and a relatable creative spirit.

Powers/ special capacities:

-death counter (usually restricted to people who's been out in the multiverse at least once's deaths but Jasy can feel any deaths close or far away if it wants. It counts them and can tell you the exact number at any given time.)

-fast messages (Jasy can send messages to people it already met or just died. The messages take the shape of luminous words floating in front of the person)

-Fast travel (if someone answers "yes" to "call Jasy" or any other messages, Jasy can fast travel there using that message as a door)

-"regeneration/undeath" (as long as the words engraved in its crown are safe, Jasy can heal from anything. Not even destroying its soul would kill it as its "real self" is hiding in the crown. The time it takes to regrow stuff depends on the gravity of the wounds. Destroying its soul would left it enable to feel anything for hours.)

-voice reproduction (Jasy can easily imitate voices but it refused to use it for anything unrelated to its "work". Jasy has the habit to tell the messages it gets in the voice of the sender and with the exacts same words.)

-time pocket (as the voice reproduction, Jasy refused to use this outside of "work". In order to take the messages of the dying, Jasy create a tiny space where the time stops. Nothing can enter it and it gives it time to discuss for a few minutes without worrying about stuff happening.)

Weakness(es):

-sensibility to attacks using code (it can make it real sick)

Relationships towards UTMV/UTAU characters :

-Reaper/Death: meet often, consider him as a "coworker" (Reaper belongs to @renrink)

-Error: feel grateful towards him and would do nothing to harm him if it can be avoided, would stay out of his way. Sligthly scared of him. (Error belongs to @loverofpiggies )

-enjoys talking with multiverse knowing characters from aus with a lot of genocide runs as their messages can be funny "tell him I'm gonna be late for tea", "tell them they won their bet", "you can remind me to do the groceries later?"

Link with my other ocs : well there's a kid that lost his 2 parents that didn't get his message yet- Also it delivered messages to Toddh a few times

Birth universe: nadirverse (it fled the multiverse to my main multiverse when nadirverse started to fall apart after The War™)

What is written on the crown~

Backstory :

Everything started with a creator.

A creator excited about their own little alternate universe of that game they liked so much: undertale. They didn't want to make things that different but it was funny to think about how tiny things could change the whole story. They wrote down pages and pages of informations about the tiniest thing before starting anything. It was a tiring process and the creator felt soon less motivated to continue.

In the end, they never finished that project and let go of it to focus on something else.

The au didn't disappear however, it continued to live with all its flaws. It was a sad au to look at... the only version finished was the one where everyone died again and again. There was no pacifist ending.

The creator had been daydreaming about how this world would be as a videogame and therefore had started at one point to think of some kind of code to count the death. As they weren't that knowledgable towards code, they invented a secret code and just wrote a few sentences in it.

As any little thing about that project, they put their heart in the task. Maybe too much heart in fact.

It ended up being much more than a simple code and as it counted death after death, it grew. It watched the deaths, listened to what they said in their last breath and searched to understand. It became aware.

After the creator left, it came to the conclusion this was doomed to stay a sad world but it continued to watch everything repeat again and again like a broken record of a nasty horror movie.

Maybe it would have continued forever without that day, the day the world got destroyed. A glitchy skeleton killed everybody, which had been unusual. But it didn't worried the code, it would just repeat as always.

But no, before anything could repeat...

The black bones skeleton shot blue strings everywhere and just somehow started to silently squeeze the reality.

It was the end.

But that line of code wasn't fond of the idea of being erased, dying was never one of its duties after all.

So it created itself a body, merely a shadow at first but it could at least move around. It fled through a shiny hole nearby without caring what it was or where it would end.

And thus that world and (most of) its habitants stopped to exist.

The line of code had to adapt fast as it couldn't live as it had so far anymore. So it finished its very own body, blocking everything the time to get ready. It took longer than what it would have like. It was a bit hard to choose a final and efficient form after all.

It choose to have a monster body as it never saw much of what other species could be out there (ignoring the human child). After a while, it settled to a skeletal form to remind itself of its duties (death, as it observed, was a skeleton after all). As bones took the place of the flickering shadow, red sipped into it. That color will do, it didn't see the need to change it. It thought about a way to get around easily and added wings to its back. Black and red feathers resting on his spine. It didn't think that much about its face and let the features come naturally. The contour of the eyes sockets, nose hole and sharp mouth shined a bright blue-green as a little eye symbol glowed on its forehead. As a reminder of who put down its universe, soft blue strings of wool fall from its eyes and decorated its cheeks. A mere useless decoration but it was rather nice to have something this soft against its newly formed bones. As strange as it could sound for some, this line of code wasn't soulless.

A white soul with a greenish hue started hovering in front of its chest, determined to stay outside.

While this body felt right now for it, something was missing if it wanted to interact properly with other kind of alive entities. Clothes. Monsters wear outfits and stuff. It decided to stay simple as it would take time to perfectly adjust to its body in the first place anyway.

Pants sounded right.

A grey and purple half-pants half-shorts covered its red -fading to black at the tips- legs, a big purple ribbon acting like a belt to it. Black strings wrapped around the base of the spine, adding further prevention to potential pants based accidents. It gave up on wearing a t-shirt, the idea of wearing one feeling wrong. But it gave itself gloves and a messenger bag to complete the look. And... box shoes.

What could it add? After thinking for a while, a long purple scarf around its neck and a silver crown over its head appeared. On the inside of the crown, well hidden, was written the sentence that gave it life.

It left the transe it was in to prepare its body and suddenly got completly overwhelmed by informations. Its counter of deaths went into overdrive as it felt deaths from a lot of unknown sources.

Well now it needed to learn how to filter all those.

1) wild kratts is the objective best kids show of all time. this isn't an opinion this is an objective fact but it is also fun so therefore it's a fun fact. also squash and stretch in animation is incredibly fun and can make for some EXCELLENT smooth motion ALONGSIDE really funny freeze frames if you pause at the right moment

2) *slams a dozen folders on the metaphorical table* SO my favorite oc that i've ever made/owned ever is rigel, this information definitely isn't new if you've followed me for awhile and kept up with my oc bullshit. this would also normally be the part where i link a cool toyhouse profile or something for him but i don't have that so please imagine him in your mind. he's a bastard grey-haired white boy. thank you. oh and i can share actual art of him that too

i'm also specifically proud of... a few things, really. please imagine me gesturing to The Whole Entire Rigel again thanks. i think i'm pretty decent at writing like... idk, complicated characters? gay idiots with a lot of personal issues. introspective character-driven stories that may-or-may-not involve smiting, denying, and/or killing god are my bread and butter.

also i'd be overjoyed at any fanart of my ocs but my current mood is fomal bc i'm writing him atm and he's so scrunkly. just. so very blorbo. very krispy kream bar that i wanna eat for lunch.

also also caeru, lark, and the aformentioned rigel make up a trio i like to call "the punching bag trio" because they're a trio of white men (by technicality in lark and caeru's case, both of them are utmv skeletons) that i like to use as go-to ocs to angst at any given moment. caeru especially. im sorry. you can make a whole infodump purely about caeru and rigel, both individually and together

3) ARKNIGHTS HAS ANGELS AND THE ANGELS HAVE GUNS. THE ANGELS INVENTED GUNS. ARKNIGHTS ANGELS INVENTED GUNS AND ALSO ALL THE GUNS IN ARKNIGHTS ARE CANONICALLY POWERED BY THE SETTING'S VERSION OF MAGIC (we know this because of an also-canonical crossover where "normal" humans got transported to gacha furry land and nobody knows what gunpowder is) AND THEY'RE BASICALLY LIKE SLIGHTLY STRONGER CROSSBOWS. also the sea in arknights is eldritch and sentient and wants to kill you and also also i think there's equally eldritch paint gods in the mountains somewhere? idk i wasn't playing during the event that revealed the latter. oh and speaking of the gun angels according to an event currently unreleased on the global server they're legally not allowed to shoot more than 5 bullets from their gun. under penalty of Something (probably definitely death). honestly as someone who adores angel aesthetics laterano scratches an inch that i can't describe but definitely exists

I just added this at the last second XD. Just in case. I don't really think this one is needed but we never know what could happen I guess ¯\(°_o)/¯

If you got the idea to ship one of my characters, I obviously have no control over that XD. Just do that with the ADULT version please. A good part of my ocs are kids, little kids (8, 5, 2...). I think you can understand why I wouldn't want that?

And your ships won't be canon. There can be exceptions if I really like it tho (≧▽≦).

I would like more platonic ships if possible but I can't control what you do so have fun I guess
