[morallee] MASSIVE UPDATE (new thumbnails, fixes, new cc, etc.)

I worked on this update for straight up months, because of the amount of cc I made so far (it's more than a 100 cc pieces in one year!) and I really hope that the waiting time was worth it!

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️

please I BEG YOU delete all of the old files of mine! like, every single one of them. if you have both the new and the old versions 1. your cas will look AWFUL like a freaking mess, all thumbnail being different and stuff 2. it might will cause issues with how some things show up and work.

and when I say DELETE I actually mean DELETE, do not just replace the files (they won't actually replace anyway btw)

LIST OF FIXES AND CHANGES:

all of the files are renamed. every single one of them. that's the reason you won't actually be able to just "replace" the old files :P

all of my cc is now compatible with @sejianismodding's CAS Filters Mod! you can just tick my nickname in the search bar in CAS in filters and only my cc will show up! it works in every CAS category where there's a filter bar. all my new cc will also be compatible with this mod.

new thumbnails for all past supported cc and new from now on! I will also try to come up with new preview design ideas — to match the thumbnails. also, it's worth noting that some thumbnails presented in this post in the previews are not the ones that I actually kept (might've changed the titles, pics etc)

all of the files were updated, either textures improved, maps/tags/LODs fixed or swatches added; no more inappropriate/missing categories for my cc! yay. also — fixed all of the items that should've been disabled for random but weren't. most hairstyles were fixed and are no more inappropriately morphing, missing hat chops/LODs added! the only hairstyle that still does not have hat chops at all it's Ozzie's.

if you want some specific examples of the work I've done, here you go:

Angel Dust Suit — I added the little heart-shaped button on the back that I only noticed on his suit after I initially released his CC.

Lucifer Hair (all variants) — they were all deforming weirdly in the ear area — I fixed that. I also changed the hat chops for the hat-specific variants to work with future stuff that I'll release. The textures were HQ, but also not really, so I compressed them back to 1024x2048 and their files weight half of what they were before.

Vaggie Pilot Dress — the weights and uv_1 were really AWFUL on this one and it had a lot of gaps in between some parts of the mesh, which I fixed.

Vox TV Head, Pointy Demon Feet, Cherri Bomb Hair and probably some other items — all of those did not have other LODs, so if you ever experienced cc suddenly changing when scrolling out OR if you're playing on low graphics and in the gameplay these items were not showing up correctly IT'S PURELY MY FAULT and they will show up normally now!

okay I probably can go back to listing less specific changes I made!

some scars/body details are now available in more than one category (tattoos, body skin details, body scars etc.)

tattoos fixed and now work with the new business and hobbies categories system and work with the tattoo layers!

new versions of some old cc pieces! Lucifer Coat and Lucifer Vest got new versions with better bow ties, Alastor Coat now also comes in two versions< the second one being with torn a overcoat Blitzo's Coat got an Asmodean Crystal Version! Charlie Suit now comes as a full-body piece too!

all default eye colours are now close to each other in the swatch tab, and not randomly thrown somewhere in between other swatches as it was before due to me not understanding how DisplayIndex works for eye swatches

some meshes edited to have less polygons/cleaner uv_1 (morph) maps or to fix weight issues. all cc from now on also won't have any of those issues because now I know how it can be fixed easily!

A LOT of the previous hairstyles RETEXTURED with several options and are now compatible with @raccoonium's splits, racoon tails, ombres and roots!

those hairstyles being:

Charlie Hair, Lucifer Hair and Lilith Hair – two new options each, Split and Strands. Strands gives the same look as the Original versions do, but yeah, they're overlay-compatible!

Millie Hair – Split version

Angel Dust Hair – Strands version

NEW HAIRSTYLE Verosika Hair – has 4 options/versions, the Original one, the Original + Extra Strands, the Bangs and the Split.

some hairstyles now have indicators on their thumbnails, if they're the "extra strands" version of a hairstyle (the little XST box) or if they're not compatible with hats (the crossed baseball hat)

modified DisplayIndex numbers! now in CAS all of the items I make will be automatically sorted by fandoms AND by characters. it's probably not that noticeable right now, but as time goes and I'll make more outfits for all of the characters it'll become more clear and useful!

I started creating CC for a few reasons — first off, I wanted to see my favorite characters in my favorite game. Naturally, that led to me messing around and figuring out how to actually make that happen. Second, I wanted to express my creativity through 3D modeling, texture painting, and character creation, especially since I felt like my general art skills weren’t quite enough to fully bring my ideas to life.

It’s been over a year now since I started this blog, and I’ve made more than 100 pieces of CC — clothes, hairstyles, accessories, and a bunch more. Every single time I see people mention me in CC creators spreadsheets or literally just tagged I feel so damn good. I feel seen, I feel helpful, I feel important. I’m genuinely so proud of everything I’ve done and I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who stuck around and supported me through it all, even when I took breaks or didn’t always meet everyone’s expectations.

I’M NOT SAYING I’M QUITTING

— if that’s what you’re worried about.

But honestly? Holy fuck, I’m exhausted. Like, really tired. I took on way too much responsibility and didn’t even realize it until recently. I pushed so hard for so long that I kinda burned myself out without noticing.

Maybe it’s the fatigue after this whole update thing that's talking. Maybe it’s something else. I’m not sure.

What I am sure about is how much progress I’ve made in my art journey. Making Sims 4 CC has helped me grow SO much — working in both 2D and 3D gave me a crazy boost in skill and confidence. For the first time in years, I feel good about my art. I’m making stuff I actually love. I’m even selling my fan merch — that’s a dream come true for me!

Creating Sims 4 CC became such a big part of my life. There were days where it was all I could think about — turning on my computer and diving into it. It’s fun, it’s exhausting, and I still love it. Right now... I just need some time. To explore more aspects of what I can/want to do, perhaps.

I’ll still be making CC, but I don’t want to make promises or commit to anything 100%. I want this to stay fun. I hate that my hobby became something so stressful that it’s hard to even go back to it. I want to make CC because I feel inspired, not because I said I would. And I also want to just... y’know, work on other fandoms too, shitpost with my sims, share random screenshots, play dynasties — be a regular simblr, too.

I’m not great with words when I need to be sincere (honestly, I'm just not great with words at all), but I really needed to get this off my chest. (none of the following is me criticising you @ op, and of course you're not obligated to read or respond to this. it's. a lot. this reblog is mainly me rambling aloud for myself. seriously, when i say "i find this post funny," it's more along the lines of "i'm entertained at myself and my own fandom / character design tastes."

also @sir-subpar, you're tagged because i very much appreciate your comments and screenshotted them. they're just. near the very end of this long post XD)

i find this post funny because it came out about a year before the show, and, huh, i didn't realize how much Vivzie had already said about Lucifer as early as 2022. mainly i find it funny because the two characters who i was obsessed with before Hazbin Lucifer / Hazbin Hotel are even MORE ''boring'' than Lucifer

they're almost basically him but without hair. e.g. Black Hat from the show Villainous:

(the screenshots i picked are from a sort of "later" design of him, about a year and a half i got into the show, but i'm okay with that because it turned out a lot of what i'd first seen was probably fanart anyway, although i hadn't been aware of that)

the other character is a fandom-created ''opposite'' version named White Hat. (design varies by creator, but usually White Hat is essentially Black Hat but with a different outfit color lol)

(character design rambles on why Black Hat's design might "work" while Lucifer's "doesn't" under the cut. ...sort of. also me yapping about me a bit lol. but yeah Black Hat's definitely of the aforementioned "tumblr sexyman design" category, no arguments there)

despite Black Hat's design being even more "boring" than Lucifer's, my first impression of him right off the bat was he was some ''big bad boss'' character right off the bat. ...and i'd thought he was a Hazbin Hotel character (lol). (i found Villainous in early 2019 before the Hazbin pilot but was casually following the pilot's progress just enough to know if it ever got canceled or anything)

so what's FASCINATING about all this is that the main difference in visual communication between ''boring'' Lucifer and ''even more boring (but not actually)'' Black Hat is probably shape language

Lucifer is (often because his design's not consistent lol) round and short while Black Hat is angular and tall. i don't feel like recapping shape language lessons (INCREDIBLY BASIC gist for this post's context can be "round" = approachable, "angular and sharp" = villain), and most people are already aware of height stereotypes when it comes to leadership positions

(there's a lot of triangles on the Lucifer screenshot i picked with the epaulettes and his wings out, but he still has his round face, round hair, round puffy pant legs, his hat brim is rounder than Black Hat's, and even his chest and eyes are is rounder rather than sharp. better look at Black Hat's eye in the previous screenshot)

(i also find it fascinating that, despite Lucifer's design being far more busy than Black Hat's -- the stripes on his shirt, chains on his coat, the cheek circles, all the items on his hat -- he's described as "boring" in a way that makes sense for this post's context: blending in with the other Hellaverse characters)

i'm just going ''huh'' and also ''lol''* at the original post because the only difference seems to be shape language, and the choice to make Lucifer rounder seems to be a purposeful one since he's supposed to be a "goofy" angelic character

(*again not going "lol" at the original poster. i actually agree with the point that Lucifer maybe doesn't stand out enough among the cast. and i only say ''maybe'' about him not standing out "enough" because of ''writer/designer intention'' / ''whatever you want to MAKE the intention because Vivzie's intentions change often lol'')

(*and my ''lol'' at the overall post is more about how my reasons for getting obsessed with Lucifer aren't related to his design at--OH HOLD ON. BECAUSE, WHILE I THINK THE WRITING IN BOTH VILLAINOUS AND HAZBIN LEAVE A LOT TO BE DESIRED (and they also both hilariously have the problem of characters disappearing into the background, except in Villainous's case it's "villains with dark uniforms unintentionally disappearing into dark backgrounds." you can see that issue even in the second screenshot i chose for this post), LUCIFER SNUCK BY AND ACTUALLY GOT ME OBSESSED WITH HIM DESPITE HIS CHARACTER DESIGN

I GOT OBSESSED WITH VILLAINOUS ALMOST SOLELY BECAUSE OF THEIR CHARACTER DESIGNS. (i also very much enjoy the designs of the other three main characters, Dr. Flug, Demencia, and 5.0.5.) I GOT OBSESSED WITH LUCIFER BECAUSE OF HIS WRITING. YET THE WAY I MOST OFTEN DESCRIBE HAZBIN TO PEOPLE IS "I ENJOY IT/LIKE IT A LOT/LOVE IT, BUT IT'S NOT GOOD (BECAUSE ITS WRITING ISN'T GOOD)"

okay, saying i got obsessed with Lucifer "despite" his character design isn't FULLY accurate. i don't think it's terrible. but i was neutral toward his design. just this week i literally posted more than a few thousand words on why i like Lucifer, but it mainly sums up to "he's INCREDIBLY relatable and entertaining."

(i'm almost certain i had this ''HOLD UP'' moment with one of my friends months ago XD because my going "OH MY GOSH THE WRITING" about Hazbin ep 5 [Lucifer's intro] feels very familiar. except my ramble at the time iirc was more about "i had incredibly rare CERTAINTY in my first messages while watching ep 5 that i wouldn't watch it as many times as the other episodes because of the superficial aspect of how bad its animation comparatively is. yet i've, very surprisingly, watched it FAR more than the others because i love Lucifer so much."

comparing Lucifer's roundness to Black Hat's sharpness also feels like something i've pointed out to said friend before, because "HAH Lucifer could almost be a White Hat")

the overall pacing of the episode is crammed and odd, but it's enjoyable. and Lucifer is there. big bonus points for that last part.)

(i emphasized "incredibly rare CERTAINTY" about how i wouldn't rewatch ep 5 as many times as the other eps because i almost always--HA. EXAMPLE RIGHT THERE--say things like "i'm almost sure" or "it seems likely" rather than just stating things firmly, just in case i turn out to be wrong lol. but ep 5's animation was SO BAD to me that i was certain i wouldn't be able to look past it on Hazbin rewatches. yet i was still wrong)

topic jump, some great comments because they work with the concept Vivzie had in the first place but give alternatives for how her concept could have been used for Lucifer's design:

OH DANG AND ONE LAST POINT I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION BUT ALSO HAD ME GOING "HUH" AND "LOL" BEFORE I STARTED RAMBLING (well, i kinda said this earlier, but not so clearly):

Black Hat, even with my thinking he was from Hazbin Hotel and even with him hitting all of the criteria for what makes Vivzie's designs bad and repetitive, still stood out as a notable design for the Hazbin universe. (and i don't think i've ever seen a single person criticize his design.) he still seemed like a leader character. (which probably comes down to shape language and his design being "tall"-coded)

(i actually thought his design had been teased like, "oooo look at this Hazbin Hotel character you have to look forward to oooooo" because i suspect some of the first images i saw of him were behind the scenes not-colored-in images from the studio, and i didn't save them because i was avoiding Hazbin spoilers.

i earlier said "a lot of what i'd first seen was probably fanart" because this is the first DEFINITE image of Black Hat i saved, which is fanart and also not colored. and also seems to very much belong in an adult cartoon lol [it's not nsfw or raunchy in any way. it's just. thirst posting XD] )

tl;dr:

Lucifer is a short and rounder Black Hat;

Black Hat and Lucifer's designs have diametric shape language (sort of but i'm cutting down on wordiness lol);

Black Hat still could potentially stand out as a Hazbin character despite having a "plain" design that matches common descriptions of Vivzie's designs;

and, even tho i don't think the writing in either Hazbin or Villainous are as strong as they could be, i only got obsessed with Villainous because of the character designs, but i got obsessed with Lucifer because of his writing

Ganna go back to answering the questions in my inbox soon, but for now I’d like to say my thoughts on the Lucifer design backlash. Like Lemon-critiques has said, this whole ordeal is just freaking hilarious and enjoyable to watch, I’m literally scarfing down popcorn while watching people tear this design apart while fans or others get pissy. Here are my personal thoughts. This is me being nitpciky, but while Lucifer’s design isn’t….BAD I would say, it’s just….boring. Like I said before, I don’t mind the ringleader motif, the idea of Lucifer seeing hell as a circus to him isn’t a pretty bad idea, however like most people have been saying, he’s just your generic Vivziepop male character, a skinny twig with a fancy suit, bow tie, beedy eyes, and a sharp toothy smile. Mainly for me, I can understand this backlash because yes, I am one of those critique blogs who thinks all of Viv’s characters look the same, and the features I listed above are exactly why. Characters like Alastor, Valentino, Vox, Seviathan, Sir Pen, even Angel Dust, they all have that sharp generic smile and eyes while of course wearing a suit and being the size of a pencil, and it’s a trend that really is a turnoff for me when it comes to Vivzie’s character designs. It’s so funny because as much as I tear into Helluva Boss, literally THOSE character designs are more distinct and have more variety compared to the character designs in Hazbin, and that’s a problem, especially since said designs in Helluva Boss are more detailed and crazy compared to its spin off counterpart.

So yeah, not only do all of Vivziepop’s male characters look exactly the same and have the EXACT same boring body type, but the design of Lucifer himself is just…..meh. It’s not really something I’d get pissed at or rip into unlike Alastor lol, but I think my biggest issue with Lucifer is that he’s literally the devil, the king of hell himself, and yet he does not in any way shape or form stand out from the rest of the cast. If you were to show me his design and told me this was Lucifer, I would have just said he just looks like some regular dude in this world of Hell, because that’s just it. He looks like your generic standard Vivziepop male character, just like everyone else.

I’m nitpicking again yes….but yeah this design is just….generic. I wouldn’t really be saying this had the rest of the Hazbin cast look different compared to this but….they don’t so lol. I do remember Vivzie once saying along the lines that she was going for a “pretty” look for him, since Lucifer was once a beautiful fallen Angel. THAT I can understand, but to me her version of Lucifer looks more goofy than angelically beautiful, and like I said, he just isn’t intimidating, and there are many ways to make Angel’s look scary, though it doesn’t help that the crew describes him as a goofball. Honestly all I can say is that Viv could have just branched him out more, made him more unique compared to the rest of the cast, instead of the same generic look all of her other male characters have. The concept of a ringleader-circus motif isn’t the issue for me, nor is it that he’s “not accurate” since this is Vivzie’s adaptation, it’s just….not creative and uninspiring. I agree with what Lemon said, I think the reason why this design is getting so much backlash is because they just…flat out revealed one of the most important characters in the show with no buildup or anything. Wether it be people who haven’t heard of Hazbin or have, Lucifer was revealed in the pilot in a background portrait, however I think they should have saved his design for the show, instead of just dropping him now. To be fair however, if they HAD build him up only to reveal this, it probably would have ended in huge disappointment lol. With that, that’s about all I can say. I definitely agree with the people saying how her characters look the same and that he doesn’t stand out….because he doesn’t. I’m honestly glad more people are recognizing the flaws and issues with Viv’s designs however, it’s nice to see people critique her stuff more openly, even if it causes a whole twitter fest of people arguing lol. Mostly people keep bringing up how this is a poor attempt at a “tumblr sexyman”, but for me, that ain’t the issue with his design. Also like…of course it seems tumblr sexyman-ish, it’s literally Vivziepop lol.

Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem shiny review, please?

Reshiram: First, Shiny Reshiram swaps its blue eyes for red as an inverse of Zekrom, which I think is a nice touch. It also adds some gold rings to its design, which works well enough. Gold feels like a good color choice, as it's both light in color and kind of regal-looking, even if there's not much rationale beyond that.

However, I do take one issue with the rings: it's hard to tell, but the original sprite uses two "shades of white"—one pure and one blue-tinted. Despite this, the shiny only changes some of these areas, while leaving the claws blue-tinted still. Why not change them too? And if you're not going to follow the original colors, you could add even more gold—maybe to the top of the head, for instance (see above edit). I say this because Shiny Reshiram is different enough from the original, but it could be pushed a little more than it is.

It's also worth noting that shiny Reshiram's fire is magenta instead of orange. This is a good swap, but I can't give it too many points for this as it's only visible in its animations.

Zekrom: Zekrom's shiny is pretty mid, mostly just because it's way too similar to the original, much more so than Reshiram. It does the same eye swap as Reshiram (love the consistency and concept there) and the teeny tiny bit of color on the end of its head changes to green, but otherwise it just gets a slightly bluish tint that could easily be mistaken for lighting.

Seeing as they added gold to Reshiram, why not do it to Zekrom too? Like, make all of the dark black parts of its body gold or something. It would probably look neat, and at the very least it would stand out. Once again, you could also make the shiny white—but that might be too confusing.

Shiny Zekrom has green glowing parts instead of blue. Once again, good swap, but mostly only visible in the animations.

Kyurem: I think they were try to push the black/white concept by making shiny Kyurem darker and making the ice parts lighter. This is great in theory—but if that's the case, they should've exaggerated the contrast more and reduce the blue tint, as it's hard to tell if that was even intentional or not (probably not—the original sprite shiny has the ice even more blue). Beyond that, it's better than Zekrom, but not as noticeable as Reshiram. The magenta on the head is fine, but it feels a little redundant with Reshiram's shiny—maybe grey or red would've made more sense.

Black Kyurem: Questions about if shiny Kyurem makes Zekrom shiny when they fuse aside, this one's fine. It just needs to be a fusion of both shinies, which it is—it has Kyurem's darker body color, pink head stripe, and whiter ice, and Zekrom's green body glow.

It's not super different than the original, but that's more of a fault of the two shinies its made of than anything.

White Kyurem: For some reason, white Kyurem suddenly chucks consistency out of the window. Not only does it lack the gold accents of shiny Reshiram, but it also keeps the orange fire instead of making it magenta, leaving only Kyurem's parts as shiny.

I know I was joking about Zekrom becoming shiny above, but at least keep it consistent between the two of them!

Overall: Kind of just okay shinies all around. Reshiram's gold rings are the best of the bunch, but it could've had more changes made to it. White Kyurem is also woefully inconsistent.

MY ENTRY FOR THE KARMOR MINI CONTEST!

I made my Karmor’s (Creatormor’s) full body ref, put in his colour palette and drew out how his powers work. Idk what makes him stand out so I’ll just give you guys a more in depth explanation of his powers, design choices/symbolism and some facts about my Karmor (sorry I’m probably gonna be yapping a whole lot) down below! (Also WARNING ⚠️ mentioning some spoilers of the bvz series, except for the episode thats coming out in like five days on YouTube ofc bc I haven’t seen it, if you guys haven’t seen the full series)

CREATORMOR (Basic) INFO:

-He/They (Male)

-Half Chinese, half European

-He crashes out a lot, hater, but is also still a nervous wreck

-He barely gets sleep because he’s scared that the Mad Crow might take over his body or his powers going out of control. Even though he’s not sure if the Mad Crow is able to do that, he’s still worries about the possibility.

-He tolerates the rest of the BvZ cast (COUGH, sorry) (Go HERE and HERE for more basic info, there is info about his powers too but I'm basically just rewriting it down below)

Describing Powers:

-HE’S USING HACKS ‼️ ⚠️

-A screen/pop up hologram kind of thing pops up right in front of him. The screen could also move with him. Like for example, if Karmor turned 180 degrees, the pop up will follow to still be in front of Karmor.

-Karmor is the only one who can see this pop up

-The pop up looks like a bootleg version of Google LMAO, he can type what he wants to change, like for example, “Save Mahatma” or “Save the Doctor” when you know…(AUGH I CRIED FULL ON SOBBED)

-After, he would touch the object or person he wants to change, the thing he touched will start to glitch.

-The sounds of lightning (sound effects when Karmor uses his powers) is the sounds of the object or person changing

-If he uses his powers too much, or what he changes is so extreme the blood vessels in his eyes burst, making him temporarily blind or make his vision temporarily blurry. The veins near his mouth also turns purple. His finger tips also become numb and the screen would become too glitchy to even see or use.

-So when he saved Mahatma, what he changed was considered extreme so yeah that happened.

Design choices:

His mouth scars

-Okay, so his mouth scars that are on the mouth were intentional.

-I was thinking like, why would the Mad Crow choose to introduce the zombies if they aren’t really a threat anymore? So I was like, maybe Karmor could look kinda like a zombie. Zombies usually have this rot around their mouths which sometimes shows their teeth beyond just an open mouth. So, anyone could mistaken Karmor for another zombie and try to kill him (especially at a distance)! GUYS IM NOT INSANE I say as they drag me to a white room/j (IM JOKING)

-When he opens his mouth, especially, he looks like a zombie

His pony tail:

-The shape of his pony tail was also intentional

-It supposed to look like a lightning bolt, lightning is associated with electricity, and also his powers make lightning sounds so yeah.

-I was like how else am I gonna put the lightning symbolism...hmmm...his hair! IM A GENIUS/j

POWERS:

-His powers were vaguely inspired by the "Life is a simulation" theory, I just think it kinda fits the BvZ storyline as a whole. Because of what he can do. Like him changing something and the events as a whole change as well? It has like a similar vibe? I guess? Idk I just thought it fits pretty well.

-The design of the pop up does have some symbolism. The crow logo represents the Mad Crow's influence and how the Mad Crow is always watching him and with him.

That's all I can think of so far, I might add more but maybe not. Hope you guys like my Karmor and what I did for my take on Karmor. I did put some thought into him grr maybe too much. (I sound so insane LMAO)

I actually just realized this too when thinking about a fic idea!! Like if the whole the Mist falls thing happened, how will the people that follow Hellenic Polytheism think? Because from my limited understanding, pagan religions don't consider mythologies to be "real" in a sense. Mythologies are like stories made to explain a spiritual concept. They worship the gods, not the mythologies. Their domains are what's important to the followers.

but then what if the mythologies itself are real like the case in PJO? I understand the demigods not wanting to worship the Greek-Roman gods, but they are like— still gods with legitimate followers across the world, and it wouldn't feel nice to them to have their gods disrespected. I do agree that the absence of altars is a major plot hole since it seems to be the "center" of Hellenic Polytheism practices. Also isn't technically the cabins are temples of the gods? It would make sense to have an altar inside for each of them.....

it's kinda hard to expect RR to write about Hellenic Polytheism since the guy himself views the mythologies as the thing the followers worship and "why anyone would want to worship the Greek pantheon is beyond me" (at least, that's what he said in 2007 here, don't know if his view has changed since then) I guess that also influences the way he wrote his characters. Maybe he just wrote from the mythology standpoint and completely disregarded the religious part.

ugh, the whole part about the religion is confusing me because from a demigod's POV it's like who wants to worship gods who looked at them like cannon fodders? But at the same time they're their children, it's common sense to worship them.

but worshipping or not, there's one thing I'm sure at. I wish there were more Hellenic Polytheist plotlines in the books but also about demigods connecting with their HERITAGE. The culture, the food, the clothes, etc. You bet that as demigods, they have full resources to lost ancient Greek/Roman literature or practices. Hell, Chiron witnessed it all. He probably has a collection of ancient books in the Big House, and cabins like Athena (goddess of Wisdom) and Apollo (god of Knowledge) should have their own private collection that would make historians go crazy. The amount of resources in CHB and CJ should be able to single handedly clears the missing history of the ancient period.

Not only the architecture, but also the traditions. Have the Apollo cabin compose hymns and epics, about gods and heroes (old or modern), and especially about the recent war. You can't tell me there's not a single poem about Percy being sung at the campfire. Have the campers spend arts & crafts time designing potteries and weaving threads with techniques long gone in the mortal world. Have them conduct ancient festivals, like honoring the gods of agriculture every time it's time for strawberry harvest. In CHB Confidential, it was mentioned that the campers are preparing for Panathenaia. But it only happened after Malcolm got a vision from his mother and had to tell Chiron about it, when ancient festivals like that should've become the norm already. Because the whole point of these camps is that the legacy of the gods still lives on!! And that means the culture should still be alive!!

(I just know deep in my soul that Dionysus has every camper doing an annual theatre performance. He is super strict about it)

+ just a note about the RR confirmed Nico and Will's religion thing, if you're talking about this post, from my understanding it's the religion they were raised as, right? So it could be their family's upbringing, and Nico and Will just doesn't practice it anymore after finding out their heritage.

Was thinking back at the whole "Apparently Riordan confirmed Nico and Will religions" post I made a couple of weeks ago,and I realized that the demigods don't really worship the gods.

We have the offerings during every meals,sometimes they pray to them,but that's usually when they are in danger and needs help,and also sacrifices something to them,but that's it. They don't have altars (you don't really need them but they are useful to remember your path in more of a tangible way),no hymns,no libations,they don't do rituals. And even the few prayers we read weren't really that...respectful? Yes,praying to your mom/dad to help you survive the day,and do the bare minimum in your life,can't be awesome but at the end of the day they are still Gods.

PJO Greek Gods are totally different than the hellenic Greek Gods,some more than others (Looking at you Ares),and we all agree that Riordan rappresentation of them isn't that good,but they are still Gods and they need to be treated and worshipped with respect and the right methods.

Chiron should be in charge of teaching them everything about that part of their lives,but he barely does something useful other than have some conversations with Percy and teaching Thalia. He is totally useless when he should be a guide to demigods,helping them embrace and understand that part of them,teaching them the proper ways to address Gods and in general the religion.

He doesn't and most of the demigods are straight up disrespectful to them. Which,again,the Gods in PJO are asshole most of time so it's fair for the children to feel like that,but you can't being disrespectful to a God without fearing a punishment from them (Looking at you HoO).

Rachel is basically one of Apollo's priestesses,the most important one,but it's talked only for a bit in the Hidden Oracle,and we got robbed of seeing her embrace her role and devotion to him. Apollo is basically her God from the moment she welcomed Delphi and accepted to be the new oracle. Where is the importance of that at??

Worst thing? it's just crazy how I started to realize this only now,after years of being in this fandom and reading the books.

On the side note I kinda understood how the whole double religion work. It's s like when you have multiple faiths and believe in more than one religion,right? I'm an atheist,and while I respect all religions,it's a bit difficult for me to understand certain things,especially when you believe in both a monotheistic and polytheist religion.

But even with this,I still stand on the ground that it was a dumb move since half of their identity is about pagans gods. I don't see anything wrong in having multiple faiths but they are children of greek gods,so for them is a bit more than"I choose the religion I want to practice" like we do,when we want to follow a different religion than the one our family has.

[as i mentioned i mostly associate harmonia [basically my soul's perception of whole, seeing him as a lot more divine and godlike than he actually is] with monarch butterflies rather than whole himself. and.. wow! finally talking about cats. but anyway, soul-cat [hnng... name idea is something like shattersong but i dont know how much i actually like the name... so im gonna call him soul for now] really really looks up to whole-cat. in a kinda unhealthy way, like.. hating himself for not being like whole. so he wears the monarch butterflies and covers the black half of his face because he wants to be more like whole, basically. also he has heterochromia. i havent decided what color his other eye is but i might go green?? or maybe a really deep amber, to try to be close to red. i dunno, his eyes also might change based on how i end up designing whole. for example if whole gets green eyes then soul's exposed eye will be his green one and the other will be idk probably yellow. if you couldn't tell it's another case of him hiding the part of him that isn't like whole. dw it learns self worth later down the line.]

Originally, I was going to post this without any explanation whatsoever, but this is actually the perfect time to explain what I have planned for the other timelines in Timeline-Tale. Because surprise, surprise: They act more like AUs to the original timeline.

I have no Idea how to name this Pit version. This is just something I came up with on the spot. Caro is just his placeholder name for now.

Now, I'll explain... Timelines are like strings of time that expand and split into new ones. Some timelines change more drastically than others when some events are changed or new actions are taken. Timelines that changed drastically from the OG-timeline are the ones I will put into this AU.

Caro will appear when I let Frisk wander through the different timelines (this will be explained a little bit more with Frisk's character card). This Pit is inspired by Underfell, but don't expect the same story as Underfell, since I am not really deep into the Lore of other AUs, and since the "Underground" functions differently than in other AUs, the same Lore will not work anyway. The CORE does not produce magic, so if I were to put something like a Horrortale-Timeline into the mix, I'd need to change the cause of the famine... I forgot the story of Underfell, so that's why I just use the random Horrortale example.

In the beginning, I was planning to just take those other already existing AUs and change my main characters into those versions, but... For one, I don't want to accidentally upset a Creator by just straight up using their AUs, and two, it would be boring. Like, VERY boring. I mean... Let's be honest, what is more interesting: A straight-up Underfell version rip-off or a casino version with some Underfell details mixed in?

Yeah, that's right: the second one is correct!

I'm also thinking of putting a dusttale version and, for some fun and giggles, a bittytale-timeline into the mix. But since it will take some time till I even get to the other timelines, I won't rush into creating them. Caro or Casino!Pit is just a design I have since over two months now... and I really like this edgy version. I mean... I really, REALLY like this version ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀) Pit is still my favorite child! I swear!

Spiderverse x One Piece AU!

A little something that started as an exercise in character design and then I got a little bit into it lmao

I did design the rest of the East Blue Crew but uh... they were kinda ugly/boring, I put more effort into these two because they're the 💕favs💕

Info, kinda. Honestly I don't have a lot thought out its mostly random ideas that mushed together sort of resemble a well put together au, just like everything I do <3

Nami:

- Spider-Woman of her universe, while her design isn't exactly original I really liked using her orange and blue colors. She has the spider logo on her back because she hates spiders and hates looking at them lmao

- In her universe, her best friend Usopp died when she failed to save him (kinda her "Gwen Stacy" but he was just a friend)

- Has electricity powers, her spidey senses are also really in tune with the climate for some reason

- She has a staff (not pictured) she fights with, and also uses the environment to her favor, not the biggest fan of fighting hand to hand because (compared to other Spider-people) shes not as physically strong

- Has a few enemies and nemesis that she fights, Arlong being the most important/strong one

- She's actually quite happy to know other Spider-people, tho she was kinda shocked when she saw Usopp... It was awkard for both of them...

Usopp:

- The first Spider-man in his world, there are some things of his design I would change (mainly the sweatband, I would change the colors), but I'm actually quite happy with his design. Where does his nose go with the mask on? The same place Hobbie's hair goes, idk..

- In his universe, his best friend Nami died, Usopp failing to protect her

- Uncanny precision with his webfluids, also figths using the environment

- Unfortunately isn't a well received Spider-man 😔, gets complaints about destruction of property or how he's "pretty coward for a superhero"

- Really would rather focus on saving civilians from natural disasters, as he's also not as physically strong (compared to other Spider-people), but it seems every weirdo on the block decided they really need to beat this teenager up, so he also has some enemies...

- Super excited about meeting other Spider-people and finally being able to share life experiences with them, and then met Nami, or Spider-Woman Nami and it was awkard and uncomfortable (but they became besties, bittersweet moment)

Extra stuff from the rest of the East Blue Crew:

- Luffy's spiderman name is Spider-King and the rest of the Spidermans where like "I can't decide if that's the best or the worst name I've ever heard...". Well Usopp thinks it's kinda cool, and wishes he had chosen a cooler name for himself, might be too late for a new signature 🤔, Nami and Sanji think it's stupid, Zoro is undecided

- Sanji does not have a spider logo, even tho his name is Spider-man because he hates spiders

- Zoro is the second Spider-man from his universe, the first one being Kuina, she died and he took her place

- Sanji has fire inmunity

- Zoro carries like 5 extra pockets of web fluids cause he takes "longer routes" (he gets lost a lot)
