Blitz is such a caretaker that if he caught hellrona, he wouldn't ask for any help. i imagine Loona would get sick of his dramatic pissing and moaning on the couch and be like, "here, asshole, drink this chamomile tea and get some rest and shut up."

So in a good news/less good news thing, I might have found out the cause of the Unexpected Floor Time! I got my blood test results back and my sodium was on the very very low end of normal. Still technically in the normal range, but very not normal for me, so my issue may have been that this week I am more sodium Georg than usual???? I mean I do have salt wasting syndrome but also I eat so much salt every day and I am on medication to help me retain salt better (fludrocortisone! it's great!) So anyway that's why I have not got much crafting done this week. I've been extremely tired and unsalted lol Oh wait the good/less good format! Okay so good news is might have an answer and it's not any of the worse options, less good news is that I need more damn salt lol

None of the medications you are on cause low blood sugar'#and it was like. dude. sometimes people have low blood sugar! not sure what to tell you!#I keep testing in the fasting range when not fasting!#my lowest blood sugar at the doctor's office in the last year was 79! I was not fasting #in fact I'd had a whole gatorade right before walking into the office #anyway I'll be fine I'll just take more salt pills and snack more frequently but uggghhhhh

Gotta say I probably owe it all to PPG for my (and probably all the other millennials that grew up with early seasons of ppg) love for anything 50/60s minimalistic, mid century aesthetic. Craig’s style was definitely inspired by those era. even when he’s not trying to approach it, there’s still some essence of it and it becomes my comfort aesthetic

Oh, same! At the time the 50s and 60s aesthetic was pretty trendy in pop culture just in general, so I’m sure it being part of the zeitgeist (as well as being a Hanna-Barbera production, so stylistically similar to their older cartoons) made it that way. There’s some 70s stuff in the show as well, but overall it definitely pulls more from that midcentury design sensibility and I truly do love it.

#as a kid I listened primarily to ‘oldies’ so I knew about stuff like the Beatles refs buuuut other than things that were obvious #the show definitely made me go out and try to discover more about the references from that era #like when I found out how Jacques Tati’s films were an inspiration for the show #…….god I ate those up 😭#I know Mon Oncle is the one that inspired the Utonium house but UGGGHHHHH god I love PlayTime 😭😭😭#which weirdly enough despite having some of those modern sensibilities ultimately both films make FUN of that style #and kind of criticize how they don’t have heart #how modernization years out the soul of things and makes stuff less unique and fun and charming and heartfelt #*tears sorry #which is interesting that Craig would choose to use a representation of something that basically is soulless for the house of a loving fam #but like whatever idk I mean it’s just because he liked the movie ig #I don’t think he was thinking too deeply lmao #anyway speaking of the Utonium chateau I also love MCM furniture so that’s how I decorate 🤣#thanks for the aesthetic PPG!

He refuses to adress a lot of stuff thats been building up over the years #and hes just reluctant in general to get anyones help.#lotta internal screaming and accidentally repeating a lot of mistakes the psi6 made in the past despite obsessively trying to avoid it #also. imposter syndrome!#he doesnt feel like he deserves any of the good things he has and feels like such a whiny bitch sometimes.#like in his job he sees so many people who are so much worse off than him with better attitudes he feels guilty for even complaining #even if that complaining is venting about feeling burnt out or depressed #he has some pretty bad insecurities in the “its fine if it happens to anyone else but its literally awful if it happens to me” vein #like he hates gaining weight or taking a break of any kind #but doesnt mind it and insists its ok in anyone else #“everyone is perfect in everything they do except for me. if I make any mistake im the worst person ever.”#and instead of working it out he decides using an emotional distiller to get everything out is a better idea

stopppp making tv show seasons so short. i thought 14 was too short already and now EIGHT is becoming the norm i hate it here

and i wonder if its because the expectation (requirement if the show wants to succeed) is to binge so shows are being shortened to be more bingable/faster produced. JUST DO 1 EPISODE A WEEK AGAIN FOR 22 WEEKS PLEEEAAASE

#uggghhhhh #tv shows dont have to be movies theres a reason why those two are different things #and yea i also binge stuff sometimes but a) i have other things to do with my life and b) binging is more fun if theres more episodes #and i mean i mostly watch older shows/movies atm anyway but i just saw that dw season 14 will only have 8 episodes and im v annoyed #for big fancy dramas sure. like breaking bad makes sense to have 13 eps per season because its a Tight Story and stuff #but dw????? the whole poinz is big emotional impact from short stories in different times and locations #amd that only works if u have enough episodes per season
