when you joined the team, being fresh and all they couldn't pinpoint your personality

you were emotionless that you scare them when you had no reaction to certain things they do

kenma understood you and saw the bliss of things you've done like lending a hand for help or giving snacks to your classmates

this one time, he felt nervous and embarassingly he finds the action of him shaking, hands clasped together to stop his anxiety (it's not bb, don't worry)

your hands reached out for him and warmly squeezed it, softly asking him if he needs some time of his mind and a conversation to distract whatever he's experiencing

his heart leaped, startled by your sudden actions and he accidently squeezed you too hard making you wince

an akward apology he mustered to you but you whispered to him that it's alright, you sat him down and asked him to do breathing exercises

that moment he felt that you were purely understood by the rest of the team because you just have a hard time with emotions and explain it better by actions

so he quickly corrects his team mates' muttering with how nice you actually are

his team mates were taken aback by how well he seemed to know you but kenma just responded nonchalantly that there were obvious moments you helped the team with care

from that time on, they examined you

it was obnoxious.. but you let it slide it was irritating, it was endearing.. but still irritating

but they catch on so they also give you things in return

one would give you small trinkets and plushies and say most of it reminds him of you (he gives a lot so you wonder how many times they would remind him of you)

if anyone would ask what's with the amount of stuffies on your desk, you would say a dear person gave it to you (though it looks like multiple confessions lead to the junk littering the table)

one would give you snacks like how you gave the whole team time to time

from little sweets to freshly baked bread, he would give them to you or share

he likes the small moments of you enjoying what he gave you while you slowly chewed on whatever's in your hands

one would lend a helping hand eventhough you reject his help nicely, he would still worm himself over to you

like carrying chairs, setting the net with you, readjusting the positions they were on your little clipboard you used to brainstorm wuth them and etc

noticing all of them doing this in return for what you did for them makes you crack out a small crooked smile

their hearts combusted if you would ever personally direct it to them

it warms you when they choose to do sugary actions, like rewarding you for your hard work

ushijima tries his best to warmly welcome you in the team and he feels grateful to have you on it when you immediately rush over to do your tasks immediately

the team notices your lack of reaction and they guessed everything in the book of why you would do it

their main thought was difficulty in emotions and they kinda struggled to approach you when they want to ask for help

goshiki was the main thing in which they could see that you were infact a big softie finding trouble to communicate as you help the poor boy with his homework and studies

that's why study groups are a thing now, to help you back (which you had to admit, there were some things you couldn't really understand in class) and you sighed gratefully that you had the boys to help you

one would leave sticky notes everywhere, telling you that you're doing a great work and doodling in every note he gives you

trying to show appreciation to what he does, you would put a board up, putting up his sticky notes on it that if he sees it, he would add more (stop him, he's a menace)

if guitar playing isn't a reward then what is it???

tendou would annoy semi to bring out his guitar at end of studying to play off his new songs

you would speak up and say that his voice was pretty that you nearly knock the boy off his feet (not because of tendou punching him the stomach for being a show off but because of him being a showoff)

it was like a captivating lullaby you would listen to every night if you want to flatter him more and make the whole group go crazy and go "oOoOOo" at him

one was a tough cookie to crack but tell him that he's a hella good player and this man is on his knees

he lives off your compliments and praises that he just has a nasty feeling in his heart he can't settle that you were just raising his ego so he blurt it out one day

asking if what you say is true

"huh??" if that isn't an honest response to his heart then idk what is

he just pats your shoulder and nods, saying his thank you, countinuing with practise

the whole team needed validation with how they're playing with the constant barks from the coach (it did helped them but hearing a more softer "good job" calms them down more than an old strict dog on a leash on their butts to haunt them if they fail)

they would sometimes look back at you and you would give a tiny thumbs up they would smile at and get back into the game to get more of your words by the end of the game

"you're just like our captain, a big softie with a bigger heart!" (guess who said that again)

a small eyeroll from you made the whole team laugh even earning a tiny nod from the captain from his best friend's words

— domestic stuff with suna

❀ Not exactly sure if this counts but Suna’s favorite thing to do is pull you onto the couch with him whenever the two of you aren’t busy to take a nap. He enjoys being close to you, whether he admits it or not, and you can see the way he relaxes whenever you’re settled down next to (or on top of) him. If he notices that you’re having difficulties falling asleep, he’ll be quick to presses kisses onto your shoulder, mumbling a sleepy “baby do you want to go to the bed?” even though he has no plans of actually moving. Suna does, unfortunately, move around in his sleep and he’ll more than likely knock the two of you off of the couch but he’ll apologize, in his sleepy voice, while he rubs his eyes.

❀ So unbelievably nervous if you have him meet your parent/guardian because what if they don’t approve of him?? You never really expected him to be nervous but as the time got closer for him to meet them, the more you noticed him checking the date, the time, or asking if you’re sure they’re coming over on that specific day and how long they’re staying. You know he doesn’t have anything to worry about but if you tease him about how they won’t really like him, he writes a long speech about how he is good enough for you and literally everything he loves about you, even if it’s something small. When he finds out you were just messing with him, Suna will act like he totally wasn’t serious about it either. Feels so much better after meeting them and they like him because he would never want people who may be very important to you, disapprove of him. ,,, does that even make sense bye—

❀ Probably a surprise, but Suna absolutely loves cooking breakfast with you in the morning. He can’t always do it, mainly because of his busy schedule, but when he does, he feels very happy and peaceful in a way. If you’re not good at cooking, he will joke about it, meanwhile he is 100% burning something in the process. He’s not a terrible cook but he has a habit of not entirely paying attention to the food but he’ll always blame it on how he’s too busy looking at how cute you are. At any point that he’s not cooking and you are, he makes sure to wrap his arms around your waist and lay his head on your shoulder, regardless of your height just so he can be “moral support”.

❀ I don’t care what anyone says he loves grocery shopping with you. He can’t help the smile that makes it’s home on his face whenever he’s out and about with you. Not entirely into pda but he will, if you’re ok with it, kiss your cheek or the top of your head at random points during the outing just to silently tell you that he loves you. He’s an absolute menace and will throw things neither of you need into the basket, cart, etc. just to see what you’ll say or do when you notice. Shopping never goes exactly as planned because of him. Has sat in a cart at one point (yes he got in trouble) just to go “I’m the only thing you need” and watch you laugh and roll your eyes at him.

A/N | I’ve built a lot of forts in my time, they are amazing 10/10, but I lot can happen while building them. Tendou is fun a fun guy to write for.

He probably saw someone build one on tv and immediately wanted to aswell

Who are you to say no?

“Y/n hurry up! That’s the last thing we need,” Levs calls from the living room of your home, where he’s crouched over all of your blankets and pillows, holding them in place to make a fort.

You walk in with a bag of pegs in one hand and a half eaten bar of chocolate in the other.

Lev was looking at you with confusion and slight betrayal when he saw you clearly weren’t going to share the chocolate with him, but the thought left his mind when you threw the pegs toward him. With one hand holding the fort together, the other was pegging blankets and pillows together to keep the fort from collapsing.

He was done by the time you finished your snack, and you walked over to observe his work.

“It’s cool yeah? Get inside, I made a bed out of pillows,” he lifted a corner one one of the blanket walls and ushered you inside.

It was surprisingly good, the floor was lined with cushions, the blankets kept out the glare from the sun, there was only one problem, “Uh, Lev? I don’t think you’re gonna fit in here.”

Immediately he’s poking his head through the entrance, “What’s that supposed to mean? Of course I’m- Oh.” He pouts as he realises it’s definitely too small. He only has his torso inside as he lies on the floor, but it’s already taking up all the room.

Bringing his head to your lap, you run your fingers through his hair, “It’s fine you big baby. I’ll help you make it bigger in a minute.”

“Tendou? What’s up with the fort?” You ask, looking around for your red headed boyfriend.

“You’re back! Hey, baby!” Looking down you see Tendou peering out from a makeshift window in his fort.

“Hi,” you smile, leaning down to face him, “Can I come in?”

He ponders for a moment, bringing his hand up to tap against his chin, “I don’t know, this fort is only for cool people. But you can sit out there if you want, the company would be nice.”

You turn away from him, missing the way his mouth curls into a mischievous grin. Getting up to grab something from the kitchen you can hear him protesting behind you.

“Chill out, I was just getting a snack,” you say, returning to sit outside his blanket fort.

“Ooh? Can I have some?”

“Hmm, I don’t know,” you start, copying his words from earlier, “I think you’re too cool to eat this.” Turning away from him to stifle your laugh.

The next moment you feel arms wrap around you and you’re being pulled backwards into the fort.

“Ah fine, I guess I can make an exception for you, just this once,” he smiles, littering your face with kisses.

Kunimi

He takes a lot of naps, why? No one knows

But he’s a low energy man

So when you leave him in charge of building a blanket fort?

Not much gets done

“Akira?” You start, shifting lightly from where you lay on his chest to look down at him, “You know what we should do?”

“Hm?” He hums, opening his eyes to look at you. It’s times like these where they hold the most love; when he’s sleepy and clingy, and smiles at you so fondly.

“We should build a blanket fort,” You’re already pushing yourself up, and pulling the pillow out from under Kunimi’s head. “Come on, it’ll be so fun!”

Slowly he gets up, he was about to fall asleep, right before you started talking, but he’s not gonna tell you that now. Instead he just wraps the blanket around his body, and gathers the other pillows from the bed while you raid the storage cupboard to get more blankets.

You both meet in the middle of the lounge room and dump everything onto the soft carpet. Sifting through, you pull out the pillows and lay them just to the side of the blanket pile.

“Ok I think we have everything, and if we set it up here we’ll be able to watch a movie later! Oh wait! I should go get some more snacks, I think we ran out of chips. Think you can man the fort while I’m gone?”

With a groan at your pun he nods his head anyway, picking up a blanket to start building. You dash off to put your shoes on and grab some money.

“Akira, have you seen the car keys?” Wandering back to the living room you didn’t expect to see your boyfriend sprawled out over a makeshift bed of blankets and pillows. You can’t have been busy for five minutes, but it’s looks like he’s already asleep.

Kneeling next to him you brush some hair away from his head, leaning down to press a kiss to it. The second you make contact, Kunimi is pulling you down to lay next to him, “Stay here.”

“What happened to the blanket fort?” You don’t make any effort to leave, only snuggling closer to his arm.

“I got tired. Now shush, I wanna nap.”

Ok so I for me there are 2 types or people who Ushijima would date; (1) A quiet and reserved person who is highly empathetic; OR (2) Someone with way too much chaotic energy, somehow hasn't gotten arrested and needs to learn to shut up sometimes i will take no arguments on this

Either way you HAVE to support his passion for volleyball, like listen to him go over the most random and obscure facts about volleyball for hours

Your dates consist of you two going somewhere like the movies or a restaurant and then just going for a long walk, he’d be calmly talking and you’d be getting all excited about little things

The team loves you 1000%, i mean you’d be so interested in what they do or say and want to know more about volleyball to understand ushijima better

he shows you off ok, unintentional but yes he shows you off lucky bitch

Tendou

MATCH HIS ENERGY!!! IM TELLING YOU THIS IS NOT A CHOICE… but be a bit more self-restrained

ok you two are a adorable I mean everyone wants the relationship you two have… excluding the fact you two are a menace to society

With the both of you being chaotic individuals this makes your relationship very interesting, You have bomb dates though, always filled with laughter. One of your favourite dates the two of you do would be to catch a random train and stop off somewhere and just make a day out of wherever you both are

ok so you are either mom friend™ or you are chaos, sorry but thats the rules

either way you are both very VERY pretty and petty

your dates vary, honestly a lot of your relationships varys, but dates are either the most extravagant, EXTRA thing out there or you are in one of your dorms watching trashy movies

the team loves you, you balance out Shirabu with your own sarcasm and witty remarks so they are pretty thankful

He REFUSES to show you off because "who cares? I certainly don't. what are you talking about?", so show him off ;)

Goshiki

BABY! BOI! HE IS BABY… ok so you are extremely cool, im talking slight badass vibes, wears all black and listens to rock type vibes… AND HE LOVES YOU BECAUSE OF IT

You two have very different aesthetics and its really cute, because you have you, your cold personality with his sunshine self just shining next to you

your dates are as different as you too, when Goshki plans them they are really cute cafe dates and movie dates whereas when you plan them you go to obscure places that he probably has never heard of

The team is really wary of you, they don't want their future ace and team mate  to have their heartbroken by some girl but when goshki sends a pic of you snuggled up to him asleep they realise you are actually v soft
