brainstorming is defs my fav part of the process and the most helpful part to me. just getting a blank document and writing stuff you want to happen without worrying about how it connects to the story, and then a lot of the times as i was doing that id just keep going and it would kinda tie itself together/id come up with a solution as i was writing / once the ideas kept flowing. so basically : TIMELINES AND OUTLINES I VERY MUCH RECOMMEND, but very low pressure and barebones ones. for example, this is what my outlines/brainstorming look like

its honestly just me talking to myself LMAO, and a lot of the time ill interject and be like "OH YEAH AND THEN THIS CAN HAPPEN" as the ideas come while im writing BAHAHA. its a super fun process and honestly nothing feels better than just getting hit with that flash of inspo, and since its all very low effort theres no pressure to actually write well and its just a chill fun time AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR OWN PROCESS / WRITING💖💖💖it can be difficult but HOPE U HAVE FUN TOO💖💖

When Dieter is away for a new filming project, you end up house sitting for him because there is no one that he trusts more, (outside of his agent) than you, his gumdrop. Plus, he’s secretly hoping that if you spend more time in his home, that you’ll be open to moving in with him. It’s his genius plan that he of course came up with when he was stoned out of his mind.

He didn’t realize that he could just ask you to move in with him. That was far too simple!

So, for the month that Dieter was away filming, you were lounging in his home like a house cat. He called you multiple times a day to check in on you, and because he missed your voice terribly.

“What have you been up to today, gumdrop?” He was hunched over the side of his hotel bed at an awkward angle. It was a terrible day on set. He was used to the director making last minute changes to the scene, tweaking irrelevant details and minor character traits that no one would pay attention to. Dieter, however, was not prepared for his character's redemption arc to be completely fried to bits.

He compared it to what happens to an egg when you crack it on a pan that is too hot, and the whole thing ends up burnt and crusted onto the pan.

He was furious, and instead of just sticking it through, he stormed off set after he threatened to quit the film entirely.

“Hey, Dee!” You chirped enthusiastically through the receiver. “I’m out by the pool, with a fresh glass of homemade iced tea, and I’m finally getting to write the bit where my slow burn lovers are finally going to kiss!”

He felt his lips curving upwards into a lopsided smile at your enthusiasm as he pictured you in your sunglasses, typing away on your laptop, eyes dancing, little giggles slipping past your lips because he knew just how badly you wanted to write this next part.

Shouldn’t you be on set right now, baby?”

“Well, if I were the tin helmet man, I would absolutely take my helmet off and break my creed for you, Meshla. And then after that I would—” he grumbled and rolled over onto his stomach, “I left set because this fucking director is completely trashing the redemption arc that my character is supposed to have! I had all these cool ideas that pretty much have now just been flushed down the toilet, and I may, or may not have threatened to quit.”

“How romantic, Dee. You’d break your creed for me?” Your lips curved downwards into a set frown when he explained to you what happened on set. “Oh, Dieter, I’m so sorry. Why the hell would the director do that? It sounded like before that it was going really well, too.”

“I’d break every creed for you, gumdrop. But yeah, the guy is on fucking crack, I swear. It’s making my job so much more fucking difficult. Y’know, I thought that after winning my first Oscar that people in this bloodsucking industry would actually take me seriously. Guess not, huh? Guess I’m still just a fuckin’ joke in Hollywood’s eyes.” He scoffed, pinching the bridge of his nose with his ringed thumb and forefinger to suppress his oncoming tears.

“Baby, you are not a joke in Hollywood’s eyes, okay? If you and the director aren’t seeing eye to eye, I think you should give it one last shot to try and meet a middle ground? You looked up from the screen at the familiar sound, lips curving upwards into a grin that stretched across your entire face. “Dieter!” You said enthusiastically, setting your laptop off to the side and ran over to him, nearly slipping into the pool on your way because you were so excited.

He met you halfway, wrapping his arms around you and hugging you so tightly it felt like the oxygen was being crushed out of your lungs.

“Hey there, my little crow. You moving in or something?” He said teasingly, loosening his grip around you as your arms looped around his neck, “Cause, I was gonna ask you to move in at some point but I just—”

You shushed him with a kiss, molding your lips against his in a warm embrace. “Surprise.” You carded your fingers through his hair, tugging him in closer, “You’re stuck with me now, trash panda.”

He smiled against your lips, kissing you back deeply, giving your ass a playful squeeze as you yelped in surprise, giving him full access to lick into your mouth, “Wouldn’t’ want to have it any other way, trash possum.”

Listen, fandom is supposed to be collaborative. Everyone should be able to jump in and have a good time. However, there's "collaborative" and then there's "every conversation involving this piece of media MUST include the fandom's fave or else I will MAKE IT about him".

Also, they never actually collaborate. They center the focus on Ass instead of the character you were talking about. THEN when you ask them to interact with literally anything else and not make it about him, when you ask them to actually collaborate with the media they claim to be a fan of, suddenly they don't wanna talk anymore.

I have seen MULTIPLE people start BG3 and go for Ass first, only to then go "wait this dude is nothing like you said he was". Nasties are always like "he warms up to you :)", yeah because he wants you as his shield. Sure he has the potential to actually care for you, but if you just believe everything he says he never actually develops feelings for you.

They worst part is most of the time this reaction is from people who are black. They get told how great Ass is, only to meet a white man that threatens and harasses you from the get go. The cherry on top is I've also seen a few start the game not even knowing Wyll was an option. Wyll is discussed and appreciated so little they didn't even know there was a black companion.

I cannot imagine how that must feel, to have the fandom say "this evil white guy who is cruel to you is the only companion worth your time, he's more appealing than the literal Prince Charming companion who's black".

Wanted to get some creative flow going while staying low-effort, so here's a screenshot redraw/edit/whatever you wanna call it, because I was curious how Mojo would look in the show with all my headcanons and little flourishes that I add when I draw him -w- So here's my redraw and the original screenshot, plus a version wif his OG palette since the lighting in the scene I decided to redo is all reddish

So the first thing I have to mention is one of my favorite changes: that little chip out of his ear! I mean, it's not a lot to explain if you just think about it for a second. This poor chimp has taken a LOT of beatings over the years, there's no way that he wouldn't have some physical scars from all that, so I figured the best shorthand way to show that would be giving him that notch. I like to imagine that he's self-conscious about it too 🥺

Second most notable change, I always like giving him a little tooth poking out because I watched a lot of anime as a teen Because with those sharp teeth of his, the idea of one poking out makes sense and also just looks cool to me -w-💖💖💖 I like to think it's a side effect of the PPG movie when he got all huge, cuz his canines also got extended so much that they were poking out from his mouth

So the thicker outline around the bottom of his eyes is something that the original show actually did, in the Powerpuff Girls Rule 10th anniversary special! That stuck with me ever since and rly made me question why he didn't always have it 😭💖😭💖

Even if I prefer his rounder design pre-movie, I can't deny that I adore the sharper, M-shaped nose that they gave him later on and I wanted to keep that. The sharp lines just make sense to me and line up with the shape theory of "sharp=mean and evil". Plus it looks like an M! For Mojo! :3

So this change is a more subtle one and is also a very new idea I had, but I gave his pupils a purple tone instead of being pure black! In all honesty it was inspired by one of the cover arts of the newest PPG comics coming out currently where the artist gave him purple eyes. In my mind they used to be a light brown and got tinted purple from his mutation, along with the whites going pink.

Alright final thing (I think), I know I touched on the notch out of his ear, but when it comes to his ear shape in general, I like to find a happy middle ground between his fully rounded ears they drew on him pre-movie, and the sharp almost elf-like ears they gave him post-movie. Like I said earlier, the sharpness reads as more villainous!

Oh wait! Okay last thing for real: I love giving him a bit more fur around his face, purely for the fact that I think it looks good and cute uwu 💖💖💖💖💖💖

Buck had stayed up fairly late writing letters to his friends and family, but he was so excited to hand them off to Tommy so they could get sent that he barely slept. He read over them all numerous times, editing them and adding details. As soon as it was a somewhat not insane hour of the morning to be awake, Buck headed into the kitchen and got himself coffee, then sat at the table and waited for Tommy to wake up.

Around 5:30 in the morning Tommy’s bedroom door finally opened and he stepped out of his room, headed for the bathroom as he yawned, rubbed his eyes, and stretched. Tommy’s hair was messy in a way that Buck’s mind wanted to call adorable, until he decided that was not correct. Tommy’s hair was messy from sleeping, and he was wearing nothing but grey sweatpants slung low across his hips.

It wasn’t that Buck was looking but he wasn’t blind, he did see. He’d seen Tommy in tighter shirts or tank tops at the gym, he knew Tommy’s arms were huge already and Buck knew that Tommy’s pecs were well developed. Buck wasn’t prepared for the washboard abs, or the intriguing scar over Tommy’s rib cage, or the well defined ‘v’ lines, or neat happy trail of dark hair standing out against Tommy’s pale skin. Buck also wasn’t prepared for the fact that he realized that he wasn’t thinking about it because he was jealous or admiring Tommy’s dedication to the gym. Buck was thinking about it the same way he used to think about Taylor when she’d walk around the loft in a lacy bra and panty set and a too-short silk robe left untied. Appreciation. Attraction. Desire.

Tommy didn’t seem to notice Buck and headed into the bathroom, unaware that Buck had seen him, or that Buck was thinking too much about seeing him.

Buck swallowed thickly and looked back down at his letters, and realized there was no way he could let Tommy read his letter to Hen- in which he asked her how she knew she was gay for research purposes. He grabbed his phone and went to his message thread with Lucy. It wasn’t hard to find. He only had Lucy and Tommy saved in his phone after all. He had to keep it vague in case someone saw the messages, and he hoped Lucy would understand what he meant.

Oliver : Hey, not sure if you remember that thing I was talking about writing but do you think you could read over some of it for me? Like today? Lou said he’d read over it but there’s one part I’d rather you look at instead and I wanna get it sent off ASAP

Buck didn’t expect a response as quick as he got one, but he was thrilled when Lucy responded almost immediately.

Lucy : Why are you awake so early???

Lucy : And why can’t Lou read it?

Oliver : You’ll get it when you read it. Please? 🥺

Oliver : If you come over and read it I’ll make you breakfast (but if you can’t come til later that’s okay too)

Lucy : Fine I’ll come over shortly.

Lucy : Is Lou even up yet?

Oliver : Yeah, just got up

Oliver : But can you be like, lowkey about the part I want you to read? I don’t want Lou getting suspicious or something

Buck put all thoughts of shirtless Tommy, and worries over Tommy reading the letter to Hen aside and went into the kitchen to start making breakfast. He let himself get caught up making breakfast, after all it was stuff he was best at, having learned it first and hence been doing it the longest.

Heyyy guys this is my first post today im going to try to enter the void state with the lullaby method! I’ve been procrastinating for way too long and me,sister and my nephew are about get kicked out our home in 9 days !!! So I will be updating u guys on my progress !!! Please comment any tips for focusing!!!!!!!

Day 1- I listened to some brown noise for 13 mins and laid down in a my regular position (on my side) started affirming not for the void state but that my sister had 10k dollars to pay for the late rent bcuz I felt like I needed to that so we can have stable housing then the void state comes along. i turned the brown noise off and tried to just fall asleep naturally and affirm I feel asleep and I affirmed but not I fall asleep anyways , I kept waking up and I just affirmed and affirmed then at 4 something am I got into sats I think and I said I am in the void state and I am I started feeling symptoms like tingling I can’t really explain it but instead I should’ve kept affirming the thing I was affirming before ( aka my sister has 10k dollars) but thats basically it I’ll keep update of any other resultss ❤️! one more thing I think I’m gonna stay awake until I get very drowsy like half asleep half awake or sats something like that .

Final update: I didn’t get into the void state butttt WE ARE NOTT GETTING EVICTED!!!

Btw I will trying a new method to get into the void state! Im using yoga Nidra! And since I don’t know how to link the posts involved with it. you can look in my liking section it will be there!! I tried the meditation rn and it worked like a charm but I opened my eyes bcuz I forgot I had to affirm so I will be making a journey/progress post rn !!! I have so much faith in this method I know this method is going to work for me like NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING NO ONE CAN TELL ME THIS WONT WORK FOR ME LITERALLY THATS HOW I FEEL STRONGLY AND FIRMLY I AM GOING TO GAVE THAT DREAM LIFE NOBODY CAN TELL ME NOTHINGHGG. 😭a lil moment but yea this works so fast so im def going into the void with method and u can too it’s fast and it’s easy I wasted soo much freaking time on doing nothing and now im fed tf uppp so my plan is to try at 5:00 am before school I get to go to school at 10:00 so I have ALOT of time!!! I been seeing 444 1111 and numbers like that for so long and this is my final push. I actually wanted to send earlier, but sleep hasn't been coming to me lately + I've been dizzy for some reason, (I hope that goes away soon, everytime I turn my head it starts spinning😵‍💫) theres also a storm eveyday here in belgium lately or a lot of rain, so im always fteched by the time im at school or home 💀 so everytime I come home I almost directly go to my bed.

I loved your Brennan intimacy alphabet. It describes him perfectly. I rebloged it with more of the things I liked in it (as if that wasn't everything 😅❤️ + i dont know if you can see these) but the one thing that keeps replaying in my mind is that bit from the scar over Brennans heart, I never stood still by the fact that he has a reminder of what happend that day🥺

Also the other one you did for Bren (older) loved it, he's so precious, he doesn't wanna take advantage of her. Such a caring man.

I wanna know more about Kirin and Law

Kirin looks so cool, too! I like his long white hair! :)

i have way too much lore for him but sdkfshg ig to start things off!

Kirin is a pirate captain and his crew is allied with the Hearts (they're more or less the same crew but just split off into two, the Hearts and Hiraishin are family ) - Kirin doesn't have a devil fruit but his mother is from a sky island of people who have electricity and/or wind abilities (his is electricity), a lot of people from that island have wings but since Kirin was born on the blue sea he doesn't (the wings are actually a kind of creature that attaches to a person's back and their people have done it when a kid reaches a certain age for generations, it's a whole thing)

He has a vague interest in finding the One Piece but wants to take his time instead of rushing like Luffy or Kidd, he also wants to help find the truth for his dad's sake - if it was up to Kirin he would lay low and get by in the shadows of bigger figures but he's been made a "big name" as well after Marineford and it's been hard to pretend like he's a nobody since then lol

Timeline-wise he appears on Sabaody with all the other Worst Gen for the first time and then on level 5.5 in Impel Down (he was captured on Sabaody to help his own crew escape from the admirals and then taken to 5.5 by the people there) From there he follows the prison break to Marineford, fights Hina and Mihawk briefly and then gets his leg severed by Doflamingo

The next time he shows up is post-Dressrosa climbing up the side of Barto's boat because Law went no contact for 6 months (because they didn't want Kirin and co to get involved with their thing with Law's Dressrosa plans/getting hurt because of them) and when Kirin saw them in the papers with Luffy's alliance he had to track them down - there's angst during Zou when Kirin doesn't talk to them/the Heart pirates and spends time around the Mugiwara crew instead because he's hurt, but by the end of that arc he reconciles with the Hearts and does so with Law on their way to Wano where Kirin's crew is waiting

The story I have now is that one of Kirin's crew members used to work in a tattoo shop with one of Law's crew members and was the one to give Law his bigger tats, something happened to their workplace and Law offered to take them both in (Izzy agreed to travel with them for a while because Hake was his friend but not to join the crew) Kirin's crew runs into them and Izzy joins him instead because they're all childhood friends and grew up on the same ship, Law is fine with that but doesn't really trust Kirin because it's another pirate crew even if they seem friendly

From there the crews keep running into each other even though Law insists they shouldn't get too buddy-buddy (the crews end up befriending each other quickly while Law remained grumpy about it) and with lots of shared hardship and helping each other when trouble appeared (Law said that whenever their crew helped it was only to 'pay the debt back' to Kirin's but it just kept on happening lol) And eventually before Law realized it they were all close friends, two years after meeting Kirin as well they also realized that they might have caught feelings for him and were NOT happy about it (falling in love, the vulnerability of it all, uuuu 🥺) Kirin was already dating his other partner Reijiat that time but they end up as a polycule anyway because he has two hands They met each other for the first time five years ago from the present! When Kirin was 22 and just having left Baroque

Rags was still a self-insert. Despite her attempts to seperate character from writer, she was still a self-insert. She still had her (Rags) react how she (Aviva) would react in situations. She took it personally when someone Finn ranted about Rags when he was ranting about practically everyone, and took offense OOC when he noticed she left him and a few others out in that one tag chain post. If you're gonna do that as the character then tag as the character would, that's the logic I was running on. And do I have to explain the whole keeping Jim in Rags' life after the breakup?

Then again Rags did apparently see no issue with Jim simping for Darian too, but that's just a case of Rose-tinted glasses. No one could interact with her because her character development remained static. I'm sorry Aviva felt alienated, but you gotta put in the work too instead of waiting for someone to get the ideas for you.

Which is why I'm glad she's putting more care into writing for Vera now.

The first line of toys they produced was the Mego Corp GDTPinocchio toy line, which i was very excited to get since i had the money, albeit i wasted all of it before on the books and the pop figures that just came out, then along came the limited edition Pinocchio Maquette replica one month after..

Sooo i decided to save for that instead, pushing away the one thing that i was able to get in favour of the Maquette, each month i kinda got forced to waste alot of my money on things i never wanted to get, so it was a very slow rise, i never got to my goal before they already got sold out, i was 100 dollars away because of the SHIPPING, THE SHIPPING COST 100 DOLLARS TO GET TO SWEDEN, I ACTUALLY ALMOST HAD ENOUTH😭

This gave me a money complex that lasted for about a few months, i used to be a compulsive buyer but i completely shifted because of that, i mean im still very compulsive but now i get so shameful every time i get anything and i avoid the shops like the plague.. because i dont need it!! [Also to get the maquette replica]

😐 What embarrasses you most about your own writing?

Nothing, really! It wasn't always that way, butttt, when there really isn't anyone writing what you wanna read (minus Wifey blows kisses)... when I started rereading my stuff after I posted it, had an epiphany. This is a certified amazing, whattttt? I actually love this. Wow, I know, amazing me; I like what I write for me. Astonishing, me.

But 'till I remade and had to edit and repost everything, I was like... why didn't I reread this stuff sooner? Insecurity, really, but! That was the biggest confidence booster; I just kinda stopped caring that, yes, objectively speaking, my writing could be or maybe is ass, but I no longer saw it. Instead, I saw damm can't wait to read this later; ooooh, excited! I've always had fun writing, but until like a year and a half ago, I didn't really re-read my stuff? I was missing outtt. I mean I wrote them for me!

So I guess I used to get too anxious and embarrassed to re-read my stuff, so everything about my writing in a way. I was insecure, thought if I re-read this, what if it's trash writing, and I no longer love it cuz it's badly written, even if its my niches I love? But jokes on me; I love my stuff, esp. the newer stuff, even more now, haha.

🤔 What is the hardest part of writing fic?

Not the writing, lol. But, really. The writing is fun; it’s everything that surrounds it. My ADD brain wanting to write at the worse times when I’m busy. My ADD brain giving me too many wips, which, I don’t mind, but I’m sure my one or two readers are sick of, like, boo, you whore xd. Editing. The best part of editing is being able to reread my stuff; then, the worse is everything else. And writer's block…. that brings my mood down so much, my mortal enemy. YEAH, I DON'T SEE WHY I CAN'T WRITE EVERYDAY, BRAIN?! What’s the issue, brain?!

👨‍👧‍👧 Do you tell people in real life that you write fic? 

Not explicitly! My sister knows, and she’ll even drop a comment on my stuff when I’m feeling down without even reading the fic 😂. But it’s okay, I appreciate you, Pink 🥺🤧🙏 I probably wouldn’t tell my coworkers, but yeah, I have no problems offhandedly mentioning fic.

As much as I actually, really, really wish I could shell another writer that isn’t myself or Wifey <3 @primrosekisse, There aren’t many Gonkillu writers, and I’m super picky with my interpretations on top of it. I rarely risk reading fic (I will try every 5 months and cry) unless Wifey posts; we are connected same/similar headcanons! So my comfort fics are hers and my own. B-but if anyone ever finds a GK fic and then on top of it, it’s got similarities to my headcanons b-bwease. 🥺🙏😭😭😭😭
