#mine is one that is... definitely not real. considering its a story ny dad made up for my brother and i when we were little.#he wanted to make sure we didnt wander off when we were camping.#this is the story of the Ghost Kangaroo.#... XD #he said there was a camp ground seasonal janitor who came down one day to clean up after summer #and on the way it was dark- he couldnt see the roads very well- and so. yeah. he hit a kangaroo.#when he realised there was nothing he could do. the kangaroo was dead. he just moved on #started doing his work.#but... the kangaroo got back up. it was missing a leg but it managed to struggle to the bathrooms the janitor was cleaning.#the kangaroo ripped the janitor apart as revenge and used the mans mop as a new leg.#this kangaroo no longer jumps- it walks with a #shhhhhh-thump.#shhhhhhhh-thump.#shhhhhhhhhhhhhh-thump.#//#so yeah. thats ny favourite XD its spooky and it gives me nostalgic vibes honestly 😅#when i'm in the bush i kinda feel like the ghost kangaroo is looking out for me! 😅#not my dads intention but... what can i do? ...any chance you have a summary somewhere of what the hell the dark ratunion thing is about?

Basically, my sister experimented on some rats and made them hyperintelligent. The rats got mad. I killed a few of them because they kept screeching and eating my food. Even more mad. So they revolt and try to swarm us- we leave the house and are on the run. They become more intense. Also they're hyperintelligent and an anon gave them a flamethrower. Wonderful! (not)

Then they start terrorising like. Everyone else. My sister went into hiding and bioengineered a disease that was meant to target them but NOW we find out there are 'anti-vaxx' rats. So that's great.

Saiko, Kaido and Aren got kidnapped. We saved them and briefly hid in one of Saiko's emergency bunker. He seemed the most traumatised by everything so when everyone else left he kinda just... stayed there?

long story short the rats are still alive and after us :D.

the combination of having some characters who are too young to have a full driver's licence AND setting this fic in autumn when it gets dark earlier is making things so much more stressful

Anyway since they're apparently not going to go with the "Steph leading/babysitting a team of young heroes" book idea (pause for despair) I'd like to pitch MY idea for Steph: Steph gets back into playing piano (she already started doing so in Batgirls #18!) and ends up taking on a mystery related to the basement rock scene in Gotham (I know the underground concert game there is INSANE absolutely prime serial killer territory)
