#I just love the height difference between me and Jensen or Jared so much :’)

He is 6'5, they finally admided in Walker. There's too much height difference between him and Jensen. Or when they say that Sam has soft features...whereeee??? that man has chiseled cheekbones, a jaw sharper than a blade and small, upturned eyes. He has everything outside soft and candid features.
but this means that it is a good performance by Jared because he manages to pass off these things as truthful.
pardon my mistake on his height, i underestimated it
but really now that you mention it its very true anon, jared has the opposite of soft features and the fact he can still look like a lost puppy when he wants is very impressive, even when jared is older he still manages to do that
i think the fact jared is moe playful half the time really makes us think "omg forever baby boy" but i assume that when he wants to look intimidating he easily can do so
and we see that in the show too, with souless sam, with samifer, with gadreel. gadreel was so eerie for me because you could clearly see the difference between sam and him, jared did one hell of a job with gadreel
its impressive to me when people say jared isn't a good actor, maybe i have a bad critical thinking when it comes to that but, personaly, i think he's very talented, it's just that the writers didn't invest as much on sam because the fandom clearly loved dean more. sam was kinda "okay, let's just make this simple ass dialogue just so sam stans don't annoy us as much", an afterthought (like, them not developing sam's relationships with characters such as bobby, ellen, jo, charlie, etc etc)
anyway, i drifted on the subject but yes sam is intimidating as hell and jared is an amazing actor.

Your post reminds me of the early 2000s when people were speculating on which Disney Channel and Nickelodeon actors were actually together IRL (which is weird enough to speculate on the romantic lives of children) and how crazy the tabloids were in general back then when it came to actors personal/romantic lives.
I think people in Western culture tend to downplay the prevalence of that behavior nowadays because it’s not as front and center as it used to be but it does still happen and a lot of the time it’s still used by studios to promote their shows. Definitely not a phenomenon unique to Asia.
Omg you just made me remember the Lindsey Lohan, Hilary Duff, Aaron Carter 'love' triangle that existed back then lmaoooo what a time
I do think western fans, particularly ones in BL/GL fandoms, are so hyper focused on those fandoms/sub-fandoms they either don't pay attention to what's happening outside of those fandoms or don't know general media history. I don't blame~~ ppl for this fandom is ultimately a hobbyist space first and foremost, but I do think it can lead to damaging assumptions about non-American/British cultures and a prevalent belief that these types of occurrences only happen in BL/GL fandoms which can - and has in my observations - lead to some xenophobic beliefs about East Asian cultures in general.
This is a bigger problem in general of xenophobia when it comes to consuming and/or engaging with non-white/non-american media like this belief that Korean media isn't horny in general isn't just something I see BL fans saying but also ppl who watch romance kdramas b/c that's their main focus, romance kdramas not Korean media in general. Which is vast and varied, and exists beyond Crash Landing Into You, Guardian, Squid Game and Parasite
(sidenote, everyone knows Bong Joon-ho for Parasite but his filmography is varied and amazing, The Host is such a clever subversive of a B monster movie and Snowpiercer is probably one of my fave films of all time and Chris Evans best on screen performance to date)
Like, I see folks saying "shipping" a lot when it comes to fans believing idk Mew and Gulf were irl dating when in my fandom experience that shit was called "tin hatting" b/c it was a conspiracy. There was a fine line difference between ppl who like just enjoyed and liked Dom and Elijah's friendship and wrote silly (even if it was sexy) fanfic about them and the ppl who literally stalked Elijah to a gay bar once b/c they legitimately believed Dom and Elijah were in a secret romance. Like way to much fandom shit, Jared and Jensen also popularized tin hatting or rather their fandom did. J2 crawled so Larries could fucking RUN. Back in the days of LiveJournal there were anon communities that had threads with 1000s of comments about how Jared and Jensen were secretly in a relationship b/c omg look at the way they act at cons! They're so touch-feely! They make innuendo jokes!
We'd call this "fan service" with a Thai acting pair and I would argue that's what Jared and Jensen were doing, fan service just in the early 00s. Idk if they still do this at cons I don't follow SPN anymore but you saw the same comments about like the 1D members. In my experience I would argue western tin hatters of western celebs are worse than what I see from BL fans even with the "fan service" or whatever b/c there's a sense of heightened conspiracy think involved. And again, it's not just for same-sex couples the actors for Outlander have been harassed by tinhats for almost as long as the show has been on (so like 8-ish years). At the height of the popularity for Scandal tin hats were saying Kerry Washington's baby was gonna come out light skinned "proving" it was her white costars (for those who don't know Kerry is a Black woman and her husband is a Black man, her former costar is a white man).
idk where I was going with all this but like, this isn't something specific to Thailand or Korea etc it's not even something specific to same sex pairings. I would argue Thailand's just learned how to monetize off people's already pre-existing lack of boundaries towards public figures.

Tumblr media
I’m gonna make this short and sweet, because that is exactly how this photo op was. Well, Jared obviously was as tall as ever. :) But the moment in itself was very sweet and so was he. There isn’t much to say about the photo really. Just that I brought these sandform toy ice cream cones with me, because I thought they could look cute in picture. :) When Jared saw them he laughed this very recognizable Jared laugh where you can really hear the “ha ha ha”. So I hand him one cone, we turn to each other, look at each other and snap. :)

One Day At A Time - Jensen x Reader
A/N: Part Two! As always, feedback is incredible. And, I hope you all enjoy <3
PSA: I am NOT a minor friendly blog. If you are below 18, please come back when you’re older. I don’t want to lose my blog because you were too eager to grow up. If I discover you, I WILL block.
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
Warnings: Widower!Jensen. Grieving process. Age Gap. Character pregnancy. Unrequited feelings. I believe that is all.
Word Count: Roughly 3,200
“Jared!” You screeched just in time to find your body thrown in the air. You didn't let go, tugging the large, heavy weight in after you. The water rushed around your form. Cradling your fall. An angry cry left your lips as you surfaced. Glaring at your friend as he shook out his shaggy, dark hair. “You're such a shit.”
The sound of kids shouting out their own war cries sounded before they followed. The noise was enough to diffuse the mini war for a moment. They were careening their bodies into the water one at a time. Six cannonballs of various sizes.
“Teach you to sass,” He cackled, wincing every so slightly as you splashed at him in mock outrage. You dodged Shep as you bolted away from him; kicking your feet hard enough that Jared couldn't see well enough to dive at you until you had some distance between your bodies.
“Gen!” Before you could bring his wife into the mix, you were tackled again. Losing your shout in the liquid. Jared's unnatural length had given him the advantage. Again.
“They're going to kill each other,” Jensen muttered to Genevieve at the grill. Watching the scene from the corner of his eye. He'd refused to bet on who would come out on top. Both of you were too determined to end the mutual torture amicably.
“The kids will break it up before it gets there.” She answered with a grin as she watched your leg hook Jared's. The towering height was a disadvantage for the first time as you yanked the limb upwards with your entire strength. It slowed him down. His arms couldn't quite reach you before you threw him off balance. Crashing his bulk backwards. Creating waves that all six kids rode out. The high pitched betting on who would be winner making the brow rise towards his friend's wife. “Or maybe not,” The devilish smile on her love's face made her tsk in shame.
The hiatus-bearded forty four year old beside her stopped watching the meat for a moment. Focusing on his best friend and his nanny. You had promised yourself wouldn't leave. It had been just over two years since Danneel had passed away, and you'd kept your word.
For not knowing how to care for other people full time, you'd figured it out in a hurry. Ouchies were bandaged. Homework was helped. Food was prepared just in time for everyone to slink out of the rooms. You'd gone above and beyond. Taking up a housekeeper role, even. No one could have asked for a better person to fill what had been needed.
“He takes her out? He has kid duty.” Jensen warned; his own grin covered as he took a swig of his beer to compose himself. A recent habit he'd invested in when it came to anything involving you. Too many people found themselves asking questions. He didn't want to answer them.
“Fair enough,” She shrugged as she watched Jared toss you like you were a rag doll. “Overgrown children. The both of them.”
“Keeps life a little interesting,” He acknowledged easily. It really had. Helped keep it all lighthearted when things were anything but. It'd helped him survive the worst thing he'd ever experienced. “They're too busy pranking each other to turn their wiles on us, nowadays.” That brought up Gen's brow.
“She's given you wiles, huh?” Her own drink was brought to her lips to keep her face as neutral as could as she watched her friend turn the deadly chromatic gaze her way. Looking for a sign that would tell him to keep his mouth shut. He didn't find anything. Being in the acting business had its perks, and cons, when it came to their friendship.
“She's decided that I'm too serious, lately,” He grumbled. Finger quotes and all. Pulling on the years of playing Dean Winchester for a way to express his displeasure with adequate emphasis. He'd long ago accepted that the Winchester would pop his head up whenever he needed him to. Almost eighteen years on the job did that to a man. “She gets the kids in on the plots. Got Jared in on a few before they turned on each other.”
Jared had eagerly adopted a new victim in his favorite sport. Jensen had lost the urge to get down and dirty years ago. After an incident that may, or may not have, involved stink bombs in a trailer. He reserved his angst for Misha and other cast members. However, that didn't mean that he didn't enjoy watching his best friend meeting his match.
It was nearly as explosive as when him and Jared had been younger. The only thing that prevented a forced truce was the amount of space and time apart that you two experienced. It never had a chance to build up and become deadly. Or, that's what everyone was counting on, anyway.
“Did it work?” The Winchester's bitch face was turned her way. Two could play the acting game. She just read it better, “So, it did.”
“It's been two years. I don't need checked on, constantly,” He grumbled. Taking another swig as he flipped the burgers and hot dogs. She wasn't quite sure if he was talking about you or her nosing about.
“Jensen-”
“I'm fine, Gen...Really...I'm great.” She didn't look nearly convinced. Impatiently waiting for him to continue. He didn't disappoint. Unleashing the verbal diarrhea in a torrent after a moment of silence. He'd been stewing for too long. “She just...she's something else.” That seemed to catch her attention even more.
“Are you two fighting?” The question was carefully let out, ensuring that he knew she wasn't trying to push too hard. Simply expressing a bit of concern.
“No,” He scoffed. Despite that it's actually what he'd tried to enact more than once. You were just unshakeable. “She's just...she's always there, you know?” He sounded weak to his own ears, but that didn't stop the word vomit leaving his lips. “And she's always... on top of everything. God forbid I tell her what to do.” Every thing that had been itching at his nerves burst forth. “That's another thing! She isn't intimidated. At all. I told her to take a day off, or she's canned. What'd she do? She laughed. Laughed!” He was going to lose his mind over the saucy nanny. That much he was sure on.
“And you don't like that?” Gen's teasing tone made him mentally kick himself in the ass. His long suffering parent face came out at that. She missed the point. “Sounds like the perfect nanny if I'd ever heard of one.”
“She's not just a nanny,” He was aware that he sounded like a sulking child. It made his shoulders straighten even more. His voice deepening in frustration. “She joined the damn family. When she shouldn't've had to. Y/N was supposed to get back on her feet, and moved on.”
The lingering guilt came forward. You hadn't wanted to be trapped in role. Yet, there you were. All for his family's benefit. His benefit.
“Doesn't seem to bother her,” Genevieve noted, nodding her head subtly towards the scene in the pool.
You'd gathered reinforcements. Jensen's three helped you knock Jared under the water again while his own children simply cackled around the attack zone. All it took was a simple bribe from their chief to get them to join in on the battle. Suddenly, the pool erupted into full blown war fare.
Waves crashed over the edge. Floaties went flying through the air. But, everyone knew their limits. Tenderly, you all rode the thin line that would lead to death as you wrestled in the chlorinated pit.
“It should,” He grumbled. It had at one time. The memory of you insisting that you couldn't fill the void echoed in his brain. People didn't change that much. No, if you were okay with it? There was a reason. And there was only one he could piece together enough to make some kinda sense. “She's using us for a crutch. She should be out there. Looking to start her own family.”
He'd painted the image in his mind. Clear as day, it danced there. He could see you in a bar, taking a down night. Later, with your own family after you'd stumbled into some nice good looking chap who'd appreciate you. God knows that you'd earned it.
“Ever think that she doesn't want to?” The idea was dismissed before she even finished it. After all, what woman didn't want someone of their own? “She's a big girl, Jensen...She can decide when she's ready.”
“You don't always get to choose,” His answer was softer that time. Thinking of the turn his life had taken. “You don't always get time.”
His own lack of time still haunted him more than he'd acknowledge. Jensen had wanted forever. Instead, he'd gotten a sliver of it. Best damn sliver of his life, but still. It hadn't been enough. He wanted his wife back. Wanted the life they'd been denied.
“I know,” She would have offered him a hug if his expression hadn't turned back to the mulish expression that often resided in his character's face at the soft words.  It was his way of coping. Emotions turned deadly. He wouldn't- couldn't give into it. Not in front of the kids, anyway. Alone in his room was a different story. “Have you tried actually talking to her?”
“She treats me like one of the kids,” He muttered with a soft scowl that made Gen bite back a laugh. “Actually, that's not true. I get lower. She gives the kids more attention when they take up a problem with her.” The sulking was back in full force as he nudged at the meat, once again. It was the one trait of yours that drove him crazy. That easy dismissal of his concerns.
“I can talk to her-”
“No,” His head jerked her way in dismay. He didn't want anyone fighting his battles. Didn't want you to feel that he was forcing you out. “No,” He cleared his throat; this time speaking more calmly. “I'll figure something out...providing Jared doesn't kill her.” His eyes locked onto your form as you tried to tackle the bigger man, and failed. Laughing as you were tossed around like a rag doll.
“I still have water in my ears,” You grumbled back at the Ackle's fortress. Trying to dislodge the liquid by shaking your head. It was useless. You'd have to pull out the cotton balls and rubbing alcohol to try and draw it out. “Your friend is wicked.”
“You started it,” Jensen shot back, setting the dish he'd dried back into the cupboard.
They'd been discarded from that morning, before the small get together. Going to sleep with a dirty sink had turned into one of your pet peeves. So, there you were. At midnight. Cleaning dishes next to your employer and friend...of sorts.
“Fair point,” You relented, passing him the pan you'd just rinsed.
After nearly three years? You'd had no problem taunting the man who'd once intimidated you. The puppy-like beast could truly do damage if he wanted. Jared simply never had the desire to inflict permanent harm. Rather stuck to temporary discomfort.
And, you loved every bit of it. It made you feel welcomed. Placed on equal footing, despite the fact that you were the furthest thing from famous.
“I think it's time to replace this thing,” Jensen muttered as he shifted the thinning towel to a dry spot to work on the metal more.
“I can do this on my own, you know.” You pointed out without malice. After all, that's what you were paid to do. A job that you didn't particularly mind, either.
“Figured Jared kicked your ass enough, today.” The wry grin made your eyes roll before you turned away. Ignoring the way his chuckle made your stomach knot.
It wasn't a new feeling. Simply one that you couldn't focus on. He'd had that soul deep kinda connection that you longed for before. So rare that you doubted you'd ever find it. Not only was he still madly in love with Danneel. But, there was also the issue of him handing over a paycheck weekly. Even if you were willing to bend the rules a bit? He wouldn't. So, you turned back to what you could focus on. The dishes.
“I can take it from here,” You returned when you gathered your wits back to where they belonged. It took longer than you had liked. “Besides, you have a flight in the morning. You should get some sleep.”
“Sure thing, mom.” His dry tone was telling enough. You were being blown off. “You sure you can handle them on your own?”
His anxiety over the trip was both endearing and frustrating. On one hand, you understood it. The kids were his everything. He hadn't left their side for longer than a few hours since they'd lost their mother. On the other, it almost hurt that there wasn't enough trust built up to give him relief for a single weekend. To let you step in and care for his family as if they were your own. Hadn't you already proven your worth?
“I'll be fine,” You waved him off with a sudsy hand. Blowing him off as easily as he had your concern. He and Dee had raised some pretty fantastic kids before you'd stepped in. They'd stay that way over two days without their dad. You'd make sure of it. “You need some time to yourself, Jay.”
“When do you ever get that?” He pointed out, jumping on his opening. Your eyes rolled back so far that it was painful. Rehashing the now familiar argument.
“I'm starting to think that you're trying to get rid of me,” His horrified look your way was ignored as you pressed your point home. Making him understand exactly how it was coming across each time he pushed. “If you don't want me around-”
“Did I say that?” The answer was so Dean that you had to bite back the chuckle. He'd only get more worked up, again, if you did. So, you resisted the urge. The kids were out. Neither of you wanted to wake them. “I just think that you need a getaway- one that doesn't include my kids.”
“Are you kidding? What fun is it to go to the beach on your own?” You'd joined the family on their excursions. Everything from the family vacations to trips to conventions. You'd even stayed in Toronto when it came time to film Supernatural. Ensuring that Jensen hadn't needed to worry for a second about his children. Instead, he'd begun to direct it towards you. “I'm not missing much. Trust me. Been there. Done that.”
“Are you still hung up on-”
“I should have never told you that story,” You muttered before he could finish. He'd never forgotten. Or let you forget that you'd confided in him. It was the first thing that had made him give you a second look. “I have bad taste, Jensen. Notoriously bad taste.” He wasn't going to argue there. The guy in question was a douche. “I'm not bringing anything like that home with me, again. There's not enough sage in the world to get rid of that kind of energy. You really should thank me.” A sad smile lined Jensen's face. Danneel had been known to burn a bundle as needed. The tradition had lived on, even just for memories sake.
“Yeah,” He cleared his throat. Taking the hint, finally. “I shouldn't push.” The look on your face said that you agreed. Silence ensued as the nightly chore was wrapped up before you went your separate ways. The issue only held away for another day.
“We're good. Go have fun,” You winked over the snapchat. Jensen could see all the girls in the back. Odette had taken the place of Zeppelin for the night. The boys were all with Gen. The children's own request.
You pulled away from your face to record the dance party that was taking place to Little Mix's Salute. Makeup covered all their little faces haphazardly. Your own face carried the telling marks of a young child's heavy handedness. Boas and frilly pink pajamas filled the room. All had embraced their inner female, looking remarkably fierce as they yelled the lyrics.
You ended it with a little lip sync action and your own, half-assed salute. He found himself replaying it for the simple, wide smile on your face as you turned away in the end. You'd seemed happier than he'd expected. His fingers rubbed over the bridge of his nose. Maybe you and Gen had a point.
“Dude, you okay?” Jared's shoulder jostled his best friend lightly, making the shorter one jerk away from his phone. When he glanced back, his reflection stared back at him. A flower crown rested over his forehead. His back straightened as he locked the screen, and tucked the device back in his pocket.
“Fine,” He answered easily. His hand ran through his hair. A simple tell. “Y/N was just checking in.”
“It's hard to be away from them,” The understanding tone made Jensen's tension fall a bit. It was ridiculous to even try to hide it from Jared. “I get it, man.” The large hand clasped against his arm. “If you want to bail, I'll find a way to cover-”
“I can't do that to the fans,” He shook his head. They'd all been so patient. So damn sweet after he'd lost Danneel. They deserved more than him flaking out. Again. “No, she's got it.” A crooked side smile pulled up his face, “Besides, Gen would kill me if I left you alone. You're practically bursting at the seams.”
“Am not,” The little shit eating grin said otherwise. A look that called bull was the only response he got. “Okay, but number four being on the way is kind of a big deal.” Fatherly pride was contagious.
“Yeah, man, it is.” With a sigh, Jensen pulled himself together. Determined to fall back into old patterns as much as he still could.
Years ago, Danneel and him had said they were done. Hell, even on live TV. Yet, so had Jared and Gen. There was no predicting how life would go. What turns would come forward.
Jensen was happy for his friend. Hell, his brother. He'd be there for them and the kid. Just as they had for him and his brood. But, it didn't settle the pit in his gut.
His focus lingered on the what ifs that life had left him with. Where would they all be if that car accident hadn't happened? Would the man who'd hit her be behind bars for someone else? He even found himself wondering if he'd have a fourth baby if Danneel was still alive...

J2 DallasCon 2019 Main Panel
J2 jump onstage!
Jared: *showing his Texas shirt* This was a gift from a dear friend from set (Maisie)... Jensen: That wasn’t me.
Jensen describing Jared’s shirt and he’s rubbing his hand all over the graphic and Jared’s chest.
Jared mentioning J2’s matching beards
Jared: Love is Love.
Jensen, unprompted, requested that Jared list the US States, which Jared did perfectly in alphabetic order. Jensen: That’s my favorite.
Jared: In the words of Demi Lovato, sorry not sorry. Jensen:... What?
We all just sang Deep in the Heart of Texas with Jared and Jensen
Jared pointed out that his and Jensen's parents are both here. We also saw them all hanging out together earlier in the vendor's room!
Jared: we went on a world tour and I found out that I'm afraid of elevators, so I'm taking steps to avoid them Jensen: your bad jokes have reached new heights
Jared has been running around a lot. Jensen says, "I'm sorry. He's usually better than this. He gets nervous around his mom and dad." Jared: it's true
Jensen after patting Jared’s chest: but he brought his mountains...
Q: Have y’all ever considered racing the Impalas and who would win? Jensen: There’s only one that has a big v8 in it. When we escape with her quickly after the show ends down to Austin there’s a little racetrack down there. We might go give her a test.
Classic J2 (x, x)
They’re both in such good moods today :)
Fan: thank you for existing. Jared: you can thank those 4 people right there (points to their parents) Fan: why did you open bar/brewery?
Jensen: gives a long intentionally boring answer about profit margins and finding a hole in the market to explain why he and Jared both started businesses related to beer. Jared: It was because beer.
Jared mom, dad, shut your ears. When I was not 21 yet and I had a fake ID-- Jensen: I never had a fake ID. Jared: .... Jensen: I had a real ID from my friend who was 21 and looked like me. Jared: Fair enough. Jensen: I MEAN NO I NEVER DID THAT Jared: HE NEVER DID, ALAN.
Jensen pretended to collapse on the ground and Jared went to grab him and pick him up and put him back in his chair and Jared’s like he’s got some mountains too!!
Jared said best friend and pointed at Jensen
Jared was trying very hard to acknowledge his privilege and say how lucky he is and how great his parents are.
Jared: I was born fortunate in that I am a tall white man and I live in a world made for tall white men. My parents didn't have all the money I have and they sacrificed everything to make sure we had what we needed growing up & that was what I learned from them
Q: What would you say is the most influential thing your parents taught you that you are passing on to your kids? Jared: I’m a very lucky guy, husband, and father. My parents taught me I should do the best I can. They sacrificed a lot for me. They gave every single ounce of their being to me and my siblings and I hope to do that as much as I can for my children. Jensen: I could give a laundry list but one is the gift of laughter. There were always jokes, not good ones, but there was constant laughter in the house and I hope to raise my kids in a house with equal laughter.
Jared recommends acting as not a career, but as a passion
Jared: I don't recommend acting as a career. If it turns into a career, that's great. There are actors that have changed my life that you wouldn't know the name of. Just b/c we have a lot of episodes doesn't mean we're better actors. It needs to be a passion first.
Jared: Just because we’ll have more than 370 episodes of show between Jensen and I, doesn’t mean I’m a better actor. For me, acting is what I needed to do and I’m blessed enough to get paid for it.
Jensen: There are so many different platforms and mediums to tell stories. Like Jared said, do it because you love it, not because you want to get paid for it.
Jensen thinks the biggest challenge of voice work is not having someone else in your scene who you can feed off. He also teased that he's recorded some other voice work we haven't seen yet!
Q: what is one theme you would want someone to take from the show? Jared: Texas Jensen: via Kansas
What do you want fans to take away from the show? Jared: Sam and Dean did the best they could with what they had. Just do the best you can do and be true. You don’t need to be perfect. Work hard, be honest, loyal, sacrifice.   Jensen: The good fight. The brothers fight for each other and they fight for what they believe is right.
Making each other laugh :)
Someone passingly mentioned pie and Jared started listing pi off the top of his head. He is in show-off mode for his parents today :P
Jared says Jif. Jensen says Gif. Debate ensues.
J2 know how the show is gonna end
Jared says they already met with producers and writers after their trip to Australia and they know how the series ends Crowd: OOOOOHHHHH
Q: Most difficult thing for the boys to face again? Jared: We went to LA to meet with producers, writers, directors. We know how the show will end... The last scene of spn will be the most...*gets cut off* Jensen: I hope no more leviathans
J2 being adorable
Jensen wants Hookman to return. Jared loves that legend too. Jensen wants to kill Yellow Eyes. Fan: Ruby Jensen fakes holding Jared back.
Jensen: If there was one thing I’d really love to not have to deal with again it’d be the bees. I could live with never having the bug episode again. Ever. If those come back I’m out.
Jared: You can kick me in the shin, punch me in the face, hit me in the crotch, and it’s fine. But if you spit on me, I’ll kill you
Jensen: ...when you killed a hellhound... Jared: I killed a hellhound? Jensen: yeah because you're not a Losechester ;)
Fan asked about if Sam and Dean will do something to show Cas gratitude (during Misha’s panel on Saturday he mentioned this in re: to what could be happy enough to send Cas to the Empty). J2 thought the fan was asking how the boys would show gratitude if Cas died and went to the Empty. Jared: I think we'd keep doing what we've been doing. If you lose someone, you keep on fighting the fight. Talks about how they don’t grieve like how people in real life would or should. Jensen: the best way that they can honor the lives they've lost is to continue fighting and saving lives  (For full context: video)
Q: something you've always wished to change in the show? Jared: that my brother wasn't so short. When we straighten his legs, he's as tall as me Jensen: maybe more trips to the barbershop. It's like having a sheepdog in the car.
Fan from Norway suggests setting the show in a city there with a hard name. Jared: God bless you. Jensen: WATCH YOUR MOUTH. Jensen: I thought when she said where she was from, you were going to respond "NOR-WAY!"
Who do you fanboy over? Jared fans himself and says “Jensen Ackles” :)
Jensen talks about how Jared fanboyed over Eddie Vedder
Jared tells more of the story. He asked if Eddie's cig is real. Jared smoked whatever Eddie was smoking & Jensen dragged him off
Jensen: "It was like a vapor cloud of everything cool that had ever been in Jared's body evaporated away & I was standing next to this empty shell of a person."
Jared to Jensen: I pick you
Last question: The girl was reading the question off her phone about the French Mistake and Jared saw she wrote another question about sexy moves and decide to answer that one instead and dance around.
Q: If your character took over your body, who would notice first and what would be the biggest difference? Jared: I don’t think I would talk so much because Jared talks a lot. If anyone saw me eat. Jensen: Voice and anyone who talked to me would notice.
Classic J2 fist bump brings the panel to a close!

Under Your Spell (Part 20) - A Thorn of Wisdom
Tumblr media
Summary: A Jared Padalecki/OFC /Oscar Isaac fiction.
Stef and Claire try to enjoy themselves at the con.
Chapter warnings: Flirting, swearing, infidelity, smut.
Chapter WC: 3,617
I risk a kiss. One kiss
One kiss!
I knew from then my life had died
Stef sat alone pushing food around her plate.
Giving up, she pushed it away. The restaurant was empty, Claire had never showed. Dropping as good a tip as she could on the table, Stef gathered her things and stepped out into the crisp autumn afternoon. It was warmer than yesterday, which was lucky as she had only brought a light jacket.
Shades down over her eyes, she wandered the streets for a bit. Everyone was bustling around, enjoying themselves, convention goers were easy to spot; most of them were wearing some kind of geek-tastic garments.
Stef’s phone had been pinging in her purse the last half hour, but she didn’t bother checking it, if it were really important, they’d call.
Deciding to do something she hadn’t done in at least a decade, Stef found a bench in the local park and slipped on her headphones. The familiar sounds of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ filled her ears. Elbows on her knees, she put her chin into her hands and watched the world go by.
There was couple not too far away, both looking at something on a phone and laughing and another in the distance being very, very handsy.
She thought of Jared’s hands, how they made every part of her feel small.
Can we stop thinking about Jared for five minutes? Stef scolded herself.
Turning up the song, she ignored her inner thoughts.
The sun was dipping lower in the sky and she was utterly alone in the park now.
Pulling her phone out of her pocket, she scrolled through the messages.
Claire: Shit, sorry about lunch I went to the restaurant but you were gone.
Claire: Where are you?
Claire: You ok?
Darius: Hope you’re having fun, buy me something with dads face on it
Jared: Sorry about earlier, what you up to?
There was a missed call from Claire.
‘Hey bitch, whats up?’
‘Where are you?’
‘I’m walking out of the park right now, on my way back to the hotel.’
‘Are you on your own?’
Stef looked around, checking over her shoulder. ‘Yep.’
‘Where is it, we will come get you.’
‘It’s only, like, four blocks away.’
‘Hot young woman alone in a park, bitch, we are coming to get you before someone else does.’
‘Fine, I’ll wait by the hot dog stand.’
As Claire was hanging up, she could hear Richard getting an earful of abuse. Stef chuckled, Claire never put the crazy on a slow boil.
The hot dog stand seller was determined to sell a hot dog to Stef, trying to lure her in with the promise of the best mustard she’s ever had.
Telling him she was a vegetarian who hated mustard didn’t deter him.
She sighed with relief as an S.U.V. pulled up next to her, Claire’s hand beckoning her from the open window. Stef climbed into the back. She shook off the chill and the hot dog stink.
‘You ok, why did you just disappear? I was so worried.’
Claire had twisted around in her seat, a crease between her eyebrows as she scowled.
‘You didn’t show up for lunch, so I went for a walk.’
‘But you were gone for hours!’ She screeched.
‘Chill the fuck out, Claire.’
Richard was watching her in the rear view mirror.
‘Everyone was starting to freak out.’
Stef rolled her eyes, feeling like a teenager who had been caught breaking the law by a very disappointed parent.
‘What were you doing that you missed the dinner?’
‘I’ll tell you later,’ Claire huffed, back into her bad mood.
Stef pulled out her phone, desperate to ignore the tension.
Stef: I’m heading back to the hotel now, been out enjoying the sights.
Jared saw the message straight away, typing back quick as a shot.
Jared: I’m free for a half hour, can I come to your room?
Stef: ok, but no funny business.
Pulling into the underground, Richard parked up and put a hand on Claire’s knee.
‘I’m calm. I’m sorry, I just got worried about her.’
Richard nodded quietly.
‘Sorry, I got snappy, Stef.’
Stef grabbed her friend as they walked to the elevator, pulling her into a crushing hug. ‘I know you love me, sorry I didn’t contact you. I just needed a bit of head space.’
Claire took her hand, the other already in Richard’s. The three of them stood in the elevator in silence. Breaking apart when the doors slid open on Stef’s floor.
‘I’ll meet up with you guys in a bit.’
Claire wiggled in her fingers in farewell as Stef made her way down the hall.
Jared was leaning against the wall, ankles crossed.
So goddamn cute, Stef thought.
He stood to his full height when he saw her coming toward him, leaning in for a quick kiss on the cheek. ‘You good?’ He asked, pinching her chin between his thumb and forefinger.
‘Yeah, I’m good. Wanna come in?’ It was a useless question, he was on her heels as she opened the door.
She plonked herself onto the bed, taking off her boots. Jared sat on the edge of the desk, his arms folded across his chest, brows furrowed.
‘If you have something to say, please say it.’ Stef huffed.
Jared raised his eyebrows in surprise, ‘yeah so I understand you’re not happy with how this weekend worked out and I get it, I’m not either.’
‘It’s one thing of many that has me unhappy right now, let’s not lay all the blame on you.’
Jared blew hard through his nose, Stef wasn’t sure if he was mirthless laugh or one of those noises her father would make when he was about to say something sarcastic.
‘They come first, Stef, I’m sorry.’ Jared shook his head, looking down at the floor.
‘I know, Jared.’ Her voice was steady, this conversation had happened more than once, on her side at least. Her son was always more important than any person she dated. A lot of them hated it.
‘I have my own family, I get it.’
He still wasn’t looking at her. Stef moved toward him, their height difference more obvious now that she was barefoot, she just reached his shoulder.
Placing her hands on either side of his face, the stubble scrubbing against her palms as he put on a smile for her.
‘I don’t like that you’re unhappy, but I can’t do anything about it right now.’
Jared leaned his forehead against hers, still holding himself.
‘You can make it up to me another time,’ Stef stroked his face gently.
His hazel eyes finally met hers. He was sad. It wasn’t just this. Something else was eating at him.
‘What is it?’
She felt his hands reaching under her blouse, lifting it slightly so he could rest them against her hips. His skin was hot. Always so hot.
‘I wanted a weekend with just you and me, somewhere not hidden away and I think....I think my wife knew that and that’s why she came.’
Stef kissed his dimples, each in turn. She kissed his eyelids and his brow, holding him against her shoulder. They held each other in silence.
‘If your smell could rub off on me, that would be great.’ Stef placed a kiss on his hairline.
Jared chuckled, ‘I’ll rub off you like a cat, I can leave some hair if you want.’
‘Oh, your hair is already on the sheets. I found one inside the sleeve of my jacket earlier.’
Jared hummed against her neck, kissing down to her collarbone. ‘Are you coming to the Q&A?’
‘I promised I would.’
‘That was before,’ his voice came from her bosom, his nose nudging at her cleavage.
‘I’m still going. Claire missed lunch so I think I will make her buy the drinks for the night.’
‘You flying back tomorrow with a hangover?’
‘Fuck yes!’ Stef groaned, knowing it was going to be hellish going back home with Claire and no Richard.
‘Damn, that’s a long flight, that makes me feel worse now I couldn’t spend more time with you.’
‘Ah, I can hang with my friends, don’t worry, I’m a big girl, I don’t need that much entertaining.’
Jared sighed, checking his watch. ‘I gotta go before I start getting panicked phone calls from Jensen. See you down there?’
Stef pressed her lips into a tight smile, scrunching her face. ‘I’ll see you but uh, probably not a great idea to be hanging around you!’
Jared, who was half way to kissing her face, paused, peering at her with one eye closed. ‘You’re right. So, kiss me quick.’
Stef obeyed, an open mouth kiss with a flick of tongue before pulling away.
‘Nuh-uh,’ Jared responded by putting a hand into her hair and holding her; his mouth on hers for a deeper kiss. She knew he hadn’t had his fill but had to detach himself. His phone started to ring.
‘Fuck me, leave me alone for five minutes.’
Answering the call, he gave Stef a wink, hugging her quick with one arm.
And just like that he was gone again.
***
The hall was packed tight. A queue wound its way from the stage all the way down to the back of the room and around the other side. Stef stood next to Claire who was craning her neck constantly to get a view of Richard on stage. There was no use in telling her to stop, Stef knew she wouldn’t.
Everyone on stage was in great spirits, livening up the crowd easily. Some dancing, some singing. Then the questions came, Jensen as usual, played a serious version of himself, mostly to make Jared look like more of a goof than he already was.
It was the first time Stef got to see him as the adored person he was, his personality really was perfect for it. Throwing his legs over the back of the chair, his hands running through his hair every few minutes.
Jared chewed his gum with his mouth open, Stef remembered telling Darius not to do that; her mother would yell at her for doing it.
‘Can you believe I’m fucking that guy,’ Stef whispered to Claire.
Claire bit her lip, looking from Jared to Stef. ‘Lucky bitch.’
I am, Stef figured. Massive shoulders, strong arms, abs you could wash your clothes on, a cute ass and dimples? Not to mention a great sense of humor, Stef could never resist a guy who could make her laugh.
He was an impressive totem. And he was entertaining this crowd, screaming like a bunch of girls at a boy band every time they did, well, anything!
Stef made a note to try watch all of Supernatural, it was a show she had dipped in and out of through the years. She was terrible at keeping up with tv, making an exception for anything Oscar was in. Sometimes when Darius was younger, they would curl up on the sofa and watch him with bowls of popcorn, ready to call Oscar and rate his performance, a call Oscar said he always looked forward to.
Somehow, she thought, Jared may not feel the same way about that situation.
After the screams and laughter died down, a girl stepped up to the microphone.
‘My question is for Jared. Since starring in a music video, do you think you’ll do it again? Coz it was so sexy.’
Jared put a hand to his brow, Jensen was looking at his friend, doing his best to stifle a laugh.
Eventually Jared put the microphone to his mouth, ’No!’
‘Why not?!’ The girl squeaked.
‘Because that was special!’ Jared swung around in his chair, doing a 360 turn. Jensen continued looking at him, no expression on his face, microphone poised to say something.
‘Aww c’mon,’ the girl teased.
Stef could feel the heat rising in her cheeks, Claire was giggling next to her.
‘It was fun and yeah, I dig the music. But if I do it all the time, it won’t be special anymore.’
There was a wave of disappointed noises from the crowd.
‘They’re hungry for you, buddy.’ Jensen’s voice rippled across the room, followed by loud cheers.
Stef wished she could slip out of the room, unseen. But if she were noticed now, it would be awkward. So she sat still. At least Claire was here.
Claire seemed to feel her friends discomfort, sliding a hand into hers, she held on tight, not taking her eyes off stage.
Richard was at the side of the stage chatting a little to someone next to him, laughing at Jensen who was now making fun of Jared.
Jared was sweating more than usual, Stef could see it glistening on his neck. He was shaking his head, hair falling into his face.
‘Two videos wasn’t enough for you guys?’ Jared held his hands up.
The answer was predictable. ‘Ok, ok. I can ask to be in another one. But you guys have to be nice, maybe it’ll happen.’
After the cacophony of excited noises died down, more questions were asked. Then the hour was up.
Claire was scrolling through her messages.
‘Hey,’ she whispered, ‘Rich just text me, he says he has a pass for you to go backstage.’
‘Isn’t his wife backstage?’ Stef huffed.
Claire shrugged, ‘Jared says he has a few minutes spare and he wants to show you something.’
’What the fuck does he want to show me?’
‘I don’t know, bitch. Rich says go see him at the side door.’
‘When?’
‘Now!’ Claire waved her away, replying to Rich’s wall of text.
‘There she is.’ Rich waited until Stef was close enough to pass a lanyard to her. ‘Keep hold of that and follow me.’
Stef stayed behind him, walking through a hallway, past closed doors. Finally, stopping by a room that had chairs piled up outside. ‘Wait in there.’
Rich closed the door behind her, there wasn’t much in this room. It looked like storage for just about everything they had forgotten about. Stef for a moment thought this was a trick and that Jared was going to jump out and frighten her.
A door opened on the far side of the room and Jared stuck his head in. ‘Hey,’ he whispered.
‘Hey, yourself. What’s with the cloak and dagger?’
Jared turned and looked behind his shoulder, quickly moving into the room and closing the door softly.
‘C’mere,’ raising to fingers at her, curling them in beckoning motion.
‘Why are we whispering?’
‘Coz my family are in the next room, but I needed to see you.’
His thumb landed on her jaw as she made it across the room to him. ‘I knew they would ask about you but it still got me feelin’ like a kid, I was a little embarrassed.’
‘I got that,’ Stef gave him a half smile.
Jared ducked his head and kissed her softly. ‘What’s up?’
‘Sneaking around.’ She said simply.
‘I know, it’s not ideal, but I’ll take what I can get.’ Grabbing her waist he pulled her closer to him. Smothering her mouth with kisses, she hardly had time to draw breath before he was dipping in for more, holding her face tight in his hands.
He was groping down her her ass, cupping her flesh under her skirt, closing the distance between them. ‘Do you want to do this here?’ Stef gasped.
He answered by turning her around, twirling her hair in his hand and moving it over her shoulder. Running his mouth along the exposed flesh of her neck.
Feeling Jared press against her, she leaned into him. He was breathing her in, smelling her hair, her skin. Causing her to tingle all over.
‘What are you doing?’ she murmured, wishing he wouldn’t stop but aware that there were people in the next room. If someone were to come out and see them...
‘Shhhh,’ Jared brought a large hand to her mouth, keeping it there as he pushed her further into the corner, it was darker there at least, a little out of the way of the door.
‘Do you want me to take you right here?’ He whispered, taking her ear gently between his teeth. The sensation weakened her, he felt her losing control, regaining it almost straight away, worried they would be caught.
The way Jared was feeling right now, it would be over quick.
‘Jared, don’t.’ Stef whispered, placing her hands against the wall to steady herself, all the while bucking her hips back to grind her ass into his crotch.
‘Don’t?’ He teased, ‘coz your body is telling me you want it. You want me to fuck you right now?’ His hands ran down the front of her blouse, slipping his fingers inside her bra, pinching her nipples until she cried out, Jared put a hand over her mouth, a little rougher this time. ‘I won’t tell you again, keep it down.’ He warned.
Stef could feel her wetness moving down to her thighs now. The feel of his hands on her, forcing her to do what he wanted, it made her so hot.
Jared took his hands from her breasts, giving the nipples final hard tug before bringing his hand to her skirt, lifting it and pulling her panties down past her ass cheeks, just enough room for him to slip his hands between her legs to her sex. Dipping his fingers in to feel how wet she was, he licked his fingers, moaning softly. ‘I wish we had time to do more, baby. Maybe later,’ he pulled her head back so it was resting on his chest. ‘Stick your ass out for me a little more,’ he commanded, his voice barely above a whisper. But she read his tone, he was not to be disobeyed.
Putting his hands between her legs again he pushed at her thighs, ‘Open.’
‘Open!’ he said through gritted teeth when she didn’t immediately move her legs apart for him.
Stef heard the clink of his belt before feeling the heat of him. He was pushing into her already. The feel of him filling her up without warning made her groan, nipping as his fingers.
‘You feel amazing, baby.’ He bit at her neck, trying to hold back his own wanton moans.
Keeping one hand on the wall for support, Stef brought her hand to her pussy, placing a finger on either side of his cock as he rutted into her. She managed to brush against his balls, which made him thrust harder. Both of them trying not to make a sound.
‘Stop it,’ Jared said, but made no move to push her hand away, he let her continue to touch herself.
There was movement from the other room, running footsteps nearing the door before a voice called them back.
Jared pushed Stef up so she was crushed against the wall with no room to move. With her head still resting on his chest, he could look down at her and see her eyes fluttering, a sure sign she was close.
‘You want to cum, baby?’
Stef muttered something he couldn’t hear, so he grabbed her ass and dug his fingers into the flesh, knowing she loved the feeling of it.
‘You can’t make a sound, do you hear me? If I let you cum, you’ll have to be real quiet.’
Stef looked up at him as tears were beginning to fill up her eyes from the brutal thrusts he was laying into her. She could have come several times over but she was too afraid someone would hear her. If he touched her clit, she’d be done.
But he didn’t. Instead he bit down onto her neck, hard. She cried out with the pain and bit into his hand, without thinking. Jared cursed and pulled his hand away from her face, grabbing her ponytail. Clenching her teeth, she came. He watched her face scrunch up and relax, her mouth slack and falling into an o shape.
Placing a hand against her neck, he continued pounding into her, loving the feeling of her clenching around his cock.
He followed close behind, there was no possibility of him pulling out, the orgasm was too intense. Pushing his hips right up against her ass, he stopped moving. One hand on her throat, the other on her ass, he tried to steady his breathing, she was gasping for air along with him.
There were voices coming towards them. Jared pulled out and pushed her skirt down, quickly redoing his buttons and belt.
Cheeks flushed and breathing hard, they both stood to wait for the voices to pass them.
Jared sighed with relief and checked Stef, giving her a look that asked if she was ok. He could see she was shaking a little bit.
‘Sit down,’ he pulled a chair towards her.
‘Fuck,’ Stef tried to fix her hair a little. ‘Do I look ok?’
‘You look beautiful.’ Jared smiled at her, running his hands along her thighs.
‘Do I?’ Stef began fixing her blouse, finding that her nipple was still freed from her bra.
‘You look like a woman who just got fucked the way she likes it.’ Jared stilled her hands. ‘Stop fixing yourself, you’re perfect.’
‘I need a bathroom.’ Stef sat back into the chair, motioning towards her ruined panties.
Jared grimaced, ‘Sorry.’
‘It’s ok, it was hot.’ Stef crushed his face playfully with one hand and placed a kiss on his mouth.
When she left the room, she heard children running across the floor towards him.
‘Daddy, where you been?’
Stef giggled, hearing Jared grumbling an excuse, he had gotten stuck into something and had lost track of time.

Love Is Blind Masterlist
<Previous Chapter
Danneel flew in and she, Lexi and her friends began to party plan. They went over food lists, party favors, decorations, music, cake, everything that could be thought of, Danneel was on it. They hit the shopping centers, spending two days getting all that was needed for Lexi’s sweet sixteen. It was hard to tell who was more excited, the girls or Danneel.
Back home after their last day in the city shopping, Lexi and Danneel poured into the house with their hands full of shopping bags. As they began to unpack the many bags, Jensen and Jared walked into the kitchen impressed but the amount of bags they’d just carried in.
“Weren’t there two more of you when you left?” Jensen asked as he began digging in the bags.
“We dropped off Cassie and Ellie at their houses because it was getting late.” Danneel informed, grabbing the party decorations from Jensen’s hand.
“Geez, you guys got enough stuff? She turned sixteen she didn’t get married.” Jensen continued to dig. “Do we have money left in the bank?” He joked.
“Nope, we used it on coffee.” Danneel answered with a smile as she pecked her husband’s lips. “Now help me bring these bags upstairs in the spare room till the weekend.”
“Hey, Jare, I got you something.” She pulled out a giant bag of gummy bears tossing them to Jared. “Here.”
Jared chuckled as he caught the bag. “Damn, that’s a lot of gummy bears!”
“It’s a small thank you for helping me out with choosing a university.” She stood in front of him with her hands in her front pockets.
“You didn’t have to buy me a five pound bag of gummy bears.” He placed the bag down and looked at her with those sweet boyish eyes.
“Well, I do have a habit of stealing yours, so…”
“I’ll make you a deal. I’ll share my gummy bears if you save me a dance at your party Saturday. Then we can call it even.” He gave her the sly little grin that she secretly loved.
Lexi looked up at his grin and her heart jumped. Was he flirting? No, of course not! He was being nice. Jared’s, after all, a naturally nice guy. No way he was flirting. “Sounds like a deal to me.”
Jared snaked a hand around her waist pulling her into a hug. Lexi reached her arms around his shoulders standing on her tiptoes to reach him properly. Again, the smell of her shampoo, honey and vanilla, made his breath hitch. Honey and vanilla, that’s it. He’d finally identified the scent as he breathed it in with a smile he couldn’t control.
~
Saturday finally arrived and Lexi’s excitement was radiating from her. She hadn’t been at Brookston long, and she had only made barely a handful of what she considered close friends. She got along with most people in school fairly well. She didn’t really make any enemies. Most people knew her name and most girls tried to befriend her simply because she was Jensen’s little sister. Others were curious of her because she was from such a different part of the world, the deep south versus the great north. Cassie and Ellie, at least, she knew were there for her.
The party was a few hours away and Lexi, Cassie, Ellie and Danneel were busy with the final touches for that night. Danneel was putting Jared and Jensen to work here and there when she saw fit, especially the higher decorations.
“Ellie, your mom is here for you and Cassie.” Jensen said walking back outside.
“Okay, Cassie, we’ll drop you off at your place and pick you back up in an hour and a half. Lexi go put on that hot ass dress.” Ellie instructed pointing a finger at Lexi.
“And we are off to get the cake and stuff.” Danneel said, pulling Jensen’s arm.
As soon as Danneel and Jensen cleared earshot Lexi looked at Jared. “I’ll bet you fifty bucks they are gonna have a quicky.”
“Oh, yeah.” He agreed handing the string of lights to her as she climbed the latter.
“I hope one day I find someone I can at least tolerate as much as Dee and Jay love each other.” Lexi giggled tossing the lights across to Jared.
“You just want to tolerate them? You don’t want to love them?” He looped the lights and tossed them back.
“I’d settle for tolerance at this point.” She half mumbled.
“You’re sixteen, you have time.” He eyed her as she climbed down the ladder.
“Why didn’t you go to Austin for the weekend?” Lexi asked, tossing the opposite end of the string of lights to him after moving the ladder and climbing it again.
“It’s Gen’s weekend with the boys. Every so many weekends she takes a turn and takes them somewhere. So I offered to help chaperone.” He laced the lights with ease and tossed the end of them back to Lexi.
“Crap. Jared come loop this. I’m still too short.” She giggled. With a smile, he graciously walked over, taking the lights from her and finishing the loop.
“You’re not short. I just have a massive advantage.” That grin she loved spread across his face, dimples on full display. He always smiled a lot when he was around Lexi, he couldn’t help it. Her smile was infectious and her laugh is contagious.
After finishing the last of the lights, Lexi went upstairs to get ready for her party. Her hair and makeup were done tasteful yet elegantly and brightened her already beautiful appearance. Her dark hair floated in waves down her shoulders and back. She slipped into her strapless, red ruched chiffon dress with a sweetheart neckline and a hem that stopped halfway up her thighs. She fiddled with the zipper, unable to get it up all the way after several attempts.
Lexi walked into the hallway and saw Jared in his dark blue jeans and black button down opened, his tanned, rock hard abs peeking through the unbuttoned shirt. He was buttoning his sleeves when he paused seeing Lexi walk out of her room in the tight red dress that showed her every curve.
“Hey, can you help me?” Lexi asked, grabbing his sleeve and finishing the button for him.
Jared gave his head a small shake as if clearing his mind. “Sure, what’s up?”
“Can you help me with my dress?”
“Of course.” He said, turning her around and sliding the zipper the rest of the way up.
“Thank you.” She turned to face him. “I’ve always loved that shirt on you.”
“That’s why I picked it.” He smiled as he began buttoning his shirt up. He tucked his hair behind an ear as the rest fell to the opposite side.
“You even have that scruff I like, too.” She smiled, rubbing a hand over his five o’clock shadow.
“You look absolutely beautiful, Lexi.” The words left his mouth without him thinking. Lexi’s cheeks pinked up when Jared said it. She looked down to hide her blush, but couldn’t hide the smile that appeared.
Soon, teenagers started pouring into the house way before the party’s start, but luckily things were in place and ready. Just under one hundred and fifty kids danced around the pool area while the music pulsed through the air. The french doors to the house were opened, so the guests made their way between the house and the pool with ease as the party went on.
Jensen and Danneel danced in the mix of teens as the party boomed, Jensen keeping a close eye on the young man currently dancing with Lexi. Spencer was a tall young man, not as tall as Jensen, but still had height for a sixteen year old. His shaggy hair cut and dark eyes had more than one young girl looking his way. Danneel assure her husband several times and warned him to take it easy on the kid. After all he was only sixteen and the place was full of people.
Hours had gone by, the cake was devoured and seemed to hype the teens up even more than before, as if that was possible. Lexi’s eyes scanned the crowd as another song began to blast through the speakers. Finding what she was looking for she made her way off to the sidelines. Off on the edges of the partygoers stood Jared, observing, mainly keeping his eyes on Lexi.
“Staying in the shadows?” Lexi asked with a bright smile.
“Keeping an eye on you and your hoodlums.”
“So are you gonna collect on that dance or not?”
“All your dances seem to be tied up with a certain young fella.” Jared nodded towards Spencer as she blushed.
Lexi stepped forward and grabbed his hands. “Yeah, but you get to cut in. You’re an exception.” She pulled him to the dance floor.
“Lexi, I was just kidding, I don’t dance.” He said in her ear. “Not in public anyways.”
“You will tonight.” She said back as she pulled him between her and Ellie.
Jared couldn’t help but chuckle at Lexi’s demand and obliged her order, moving to the music. He did know how to dance, quite well in fact, but his anxiety and insecurity normally kept him from dancing in public. But for the birthday girl he shrugged off his apprehension and danced like nobody was watching. He mainly kept his dancing attention towards Lexi as he swayed to the mix of hip hop and country with a touch of rock thrown in, letting his hands fall subtly to her back and waist here and there, keeping a respectful distance between the two of them.
Jared and Lexi managed to work their way out of the crowd, having moved and danced all around as Lexi talentedly mingled her way around the guests. The beat of the music changed to a sultry sound that boomed in the distance. Lexi never stopped her movements but now that they were away from the crowd behind the trees near the patio,, she danced a little closer to Jared. Glancing around, Jared didn’t see Jensen or Danneel in sight, in fact no one was really around them. He bit his lip in contemplation for a moment before he let his hands lower on Lexi’s waist. She turned, her back against him as she swayed her hips. He lowered his head near her neck as his hands gripped her hips, her dress riding up her thighs the more she moved against him. Her ass brushing against him, she could feel his breath, hot on her neck. Goosebumps raised on her skin and Jared smiled as she slid a hand behind his neck.
“You okay, there?” He whispered.
Lexi could hear the amusement in his voice. She turned quickly in pace with the music and faced him. His hands perched dangerously low on her hips, nearly groping her rear as her other hand traveled up and rested around his neck. Lexi let her eyes flash upward and he was staring at her, his eyes a piercing grayish green at the time.
“Lexi!” They heard someone shout.
Looking around, they never noticed just how far off they had wandered while dancing.  Lexi looked back at Jared as he released her body quickly and she walked away to find the person calling for her. Jared stood there for a long moment as his mind wrapped around what had just happened.
His thoughts were a mess of loud music and confusion as he made his way back to the crowd. He looked up at the sound of loud laughing and saw Lexi pulling Genevieve into a hug. Finally seeing Jensen, he made his way over.
“When did Gen get here?!” Jared asked loudly.
“Just now! Apparently she and Danneel had this planned out for about a week now!”
“I’m so happy you came, and I can not believe you managed to hide this from me for a week!” Lexi beamed at Genevieve and Danneel.
The party continued well after midnight when loud laughing and splashing erupted from the pool. Jared and Jensen, who were inside talking with Danneel and Genevieve, looked out the french doors to see Lexi and several friends decided to jump into the pool, soon followed by a mass of teenagers.
“Oh my God.” Jensen said looking out at the sea of kids fully clothes in cocktail attire jumping around the pool.
“I don’t think we have enough towels.” Jared commented. “Oh well.” Taking off at a run jumping into the pool.
When he came up from under the water, Lexi swam to him with a smile and climbed on his back. Danneel, Jensen and Genevieve jumped in as well, enjoying the moment.
“Thanks for coming, you guys!” Lexi shouted as the last of her guest, aside from Cassie and Ellie, left the house.
Lexi stood with a towel wrapped around herself, helping pick up some of the mess from the party. “What are you doing?” Jensen asked, walking behind her. “The mess will be here in the morning and you aren’t allowed to clean anyways because you are the guest of honor.”
“Thank you again, Jay. Tonight was amazing.” She gave Jensen a tight hug. “I’m going to grab a shower and hit the sack.”
“So, what did you wish for?” He asked as she turned back facing him.
“What?”
“When you blew out your candles, what did you wish for?”
“For things to only get better from here.”
“Lex,” He took a step toward her. “I know you had a rough time these past few years. I want you to know how proud I am of you.”
“I know and I love you, Jay.” She said giving him a tight hug.
Lexi walked upstairs and saw Ellie and Cassie already changed into dry clothes, asleep in her bed. Normally the three of them could fit comfortably in Lexi’s queen bed, but they were sprawled out. She wasn’t gonna worry about it until after her shower. Lexi grabbed some pajamas and went looking for a free bathroom.
After finding that the upstairs bathroom was occupied by Danneel and the spare by Genevieve, Lexi peeked to see if Jared was in his room. Seeing it empty, she went straight for his shower, turning the hot water on full blast. Lexi stepped under the stream and warmed instantly.
After she finished, she dressed and was toweling off her hair. She reached for the door when it opened in front of her. “Oh geez!” She yelped seeing Jared in front of her.
“I’m sorry!” He said with his hands up. “I didn’t know you were in here.”
“No, no! I’m sorry!” She corrected. “The other two bathrooms were being used and you weren’t in here so I ducked in to get a quick shower.”
“It’s fine, really.” Jared assured. “I was just downstairs talking with Jensen for a few, shutting off the party lights. By the way, when I went to bring you your cell phone, I saw your bed was hijacked.”
“Yeah, I think they partied hard tonight.” Lexi said.
“It’s almost two a.m., I think it’s safe to say, yeah.”
“What? Really?”
“Yeah. Hey, you’re welcome to steal my bed for the night if you want. I don’t mind the couch.”
“No, I’ll be good.”
“I insist.” Jared said with a hand on his chest.
“Fine but you’re not sleeping on the couch. We can share.” Lexi informed. “Now go change before you end up sick in those wet clothes.
Lexi was half lying. It wasn’t so much him getting sick that had her concerned, it was more him standing in nothing but a pair of wet blue jeans. It took all her effort not to look at his body while talking. Her first instinct was to let her eyes travel down over his bronze abs, down to the subtle trail of hairs that lead beneath his belt buckle. She felt her face get hot and realized she had let her eyes wander. Jared made his way to the shower and Lexi let herself fall back against his plush bedding. Did she really just check Jared out so obviously in front of him? Did she really just agree, no, suggest, to share a bed with him?
Jared walked out of the bathroom as steam followed him, pulling his shirt over his head. Lexi stirred in the bed a bit, catching Jared’s attention. He walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. Her head rested upon his pillow as she lay on her side. He softly brushed her still damp hair away from her face and off her shoulder. She turned slightly, her arm moving from its position revealing her taut nipple threw her grey tank top. As he let his hand linger on the top of her arm, he thought about sliding his fingers down, grazing the erect little bud that insisted on making itself so prominent.
Instead, he pulled the blankets over her body, leaning in pressing a gentle kiss on her cheek. Lexi felt the small amount of pressure and her senses woke although she barely did. She moved into the feeling of softness until she felt till her lips touch his. Jared instinctively pressed his lips fully against hers. As he pulled away, her eyes fluttered opened. As soft smile spread across her lips as she rolled over and pulled the pillow under her head.

Just saw your con pic w the boys,,, how tall are you!! You look so strong and awesome!! I’m 4’11 so my dream is to be super tall but it’s obviously not going to happen lol
LOL!!! I am tall. Like, ridiculously so. Happily, I was able to make a joke out of it one year:
Tumblr media
(Jensen is the only one who got the message, “Make me feel short,” and got up on his tippytoes, hence why he’s as tall as Jared. I have no idea what Jared is doing, and Jeff was just so clueless about everything, he just posed and smiled for every picture, which was fine by me.)
When I was in my twenties, I topped out at just over 6′ tall. Since my back problems started, I’ve dropped about two inches, so I’m currently about 5′10″-ish.
True story: I met @latetothewinchesterparty at ChiCon 2015 in the pre-registration line, only because we were both so tall and could have a conversation over the heads of the folks between us!! We immediately decided we needed an op with the shortest cast member:
Tumblr media
So precious! Osric tried so hard to be tall!
In 2016, we went for the tallest cast member:
Tumblr media
(I was a little hunched and barefoot, Vicky was a little stretched to get her chin on Jared’s shoulder, but yes, she really is that tall. Like, 6′1″-ish, I think! And Jared held the sign up a little higher than we wanted him to, so it looks like I don’t belong there, but yeah well!)
I love making fun of the height differences between me and my friends, though. Ask @oriona75. She’s my mini cupcake.
Tumblr media
(Mark was a little shit and got up on his tippytoes for that op like Misha and me. Poor Ori. She’s really not quite THAT short!! Side note: Good Lord, this is, like, the WORST picture of me, ever!)
So, yes, I’m tall. Strong, not so much, anymore. With the back issues and the Fibromyalgia, I’m just a delicate fucking flower, these days. I will still gladly get stuff off of the top shelf for my fun-sized friends, though!!

How did J2 feel about Misha misbehaving with Jared on stage?
Tumblr media
One of my awesome doll faces sent me this interesting question about the above gif:
Thought you might find this interesting. This is probably the first thing that gave me a very bad vibe about Misha. The first part is what I’m talking about, how Misha behaved and then Jensen. Misha is just so gross and completely violates Jared and makes both of J2 uncomfortable and Jensen especially just looks upset. I thought he was actually going to walk off stage. Watch the video, it’s very cringy and made me actually upset. Let me know what you think.
Thank you to doll face, for that ever-so-awesome question which I had to crop slightly.  Apologies for that.  Now, remember, I am not a shipper.  I am a slash fiction fan [there is a difference] so I will not let me sexual fantasies govern how I interpret this.
For those five sad creatures in fandom who still haven't seen the footage, what have you been doing, hunny?  I am helpfully providing a link here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IqeQ8vSiDQ
So they were all signing shirts to be auctioned off for charity.  Misha chose to sign Jared, doggy-style.  SMH.  Jared takes the time to do a spot of cleaning because he had thrown candy wrappers all over the floor.  He blushes and laughs when he stands up to his full height.  If you look at the footage, Jensen looks away, very scandalized.  He even shoots out of his chair and goes to the farthest part of the stage, the minute Jared approached him.  When Jensen gets back, he still keeps his distance from both Jared and Misha and says [although the audio is not totally clear] ''I don't want to be a part of this''.  Even as the auctioning starts, Jensen hovers around the stage uncomfortably, before giving up and perching himself on the seat farthest away from the other two.  Now for the analysis.
Misha
Misha is attracted to none of the men on that stage.  He is not gay.  He is a straight, sexual deviant.  He likes females, young and stupid being his preference, hence his wacky fan base.  However, what ever he does on stage is communication for his fans.  Misha calculates his moves with his fans.  He wants to arouse a bunch of them simultaneously without doing it manually, if you understand what I mean.  So throwing inappropriate shipping nonsense like this, out there [kid friendly audience or not] is one way he does it.  He also wants to communicate that he is the Alpha.  If he is on stage with someone, he wants sexual power over them.  That is why usually he doesn't prefer people like Jared and Sebastian, because they are not fazed by his antics and are also sexually outspoken.  He doesnt even want Robbie, because when he kissed Rob once, on the mouth, Rob just kissed him back.  Even at this moment, Jared blushed but didn't scurry away from Misha's grasp.  That is why he plopped himself back into his seat afterwards.  He didn't expect Jared to just laugh about it.  Jensen's reaction is probably why he chooses Jensen.  Jensen gets uncomfortable and that gives him power.  That is why his fans consider him to be the Alpha is the Jensen/Misha pairing.  He puts himself in that position.
There is a scene where Casifer is speaking to all the fledgling angels who are petrified of their demonic older brother.  That is the closest Misha came to playing a character similar to his own because he really went all out for it.  At one point, he very nonchalantly straddles one of the kids.  And that poor kid is so uncomfortable that he almost never raises his eyes to make eye contact with Misha.  That was not scripted.  Misha told nobody he was going to do that.  That includes the kid he was straddling.  And the discomfort shows on the poor kid's face.  Then Misha gets up and ruffles the lapel on a blond kid's coat.  And for a split second, you see dread in the kid's eyes, the minute Misha touches him.  When another actor says ''evil incarnate'', and Misha approaches him, the kid flinches backwards as if petrified that Misha is going to straddle him or something similar.  Misha was in his element.  He loves that.  Notice how there is no gag reel for this scene.  Nobody was having fun.  Nobody laughed.  The straddling was done once and the cast didn't react.  So the scene when on.
There's the link for anyone who hasn't seen it, or who had blocked it out of their memory.  The hellers were gushing over it.  Misha is so ''gay and funny''.  SMH.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zIgwK28E5k
In his TSA short movie, Just Relax [which he co-penned], he put himself in a position of sexual power over the actor who was supposed to be Jensen's stand-in.  In the gas station scene where Cas went to buy pie for Dean, grabbing the kid at the counter was not in the script.  The kid was not notified of Misha's plans, so his reaction is authentic.  Misha really likes doing that a lot.  See, what I mean by sexual power.
Jared
Jared is also straight, but unlike Jensen, he is less shy about his body, touching and being touched.  I hate when people use the words ''sexually comfortable'', because it automatically gives foolish people the impression that anyone who is opposite to that is prejudiced.  No, they are not.  They just don't want anyone to touch them unless there is some familiarity, thank you very much.  Jared also engages his fans, from a slash point of view.  But there is a difference between him and Misha.  Look at the gif.  Jared stumbled ever so slightly while Misha was bending him over.  That means that Jared was not made aware of what Misha was going to do.  This goes back to Misha and his need for sexual power.  He wanted to take Jared by surprise, so he was controlling the situation.
Notice, that Misha hasn't really done that again since.  Because no matter what, Misha is a straight man, and he is afraid Jared will take that as a cue to ''make the next move''.  Never dare Jared Padalecki.  Misha doesn't want that.  Remember, the gag reel in a previous season, where Jared grabbed Misha and pretended to kiss him.  And Misha screamed his annoying signature high-pitched voice.  I cant stand that sound.  That is what Misha doesn't want.  He doesn't want a tall, broad guy like Jared having that kind of power over him.  He wants to be the Alpha.  Remember Honocon, when Jared was speaking like Mark S and caressing Misha.  Go watch it again.  Misha got uncomfortable.  He doesn't have sexual power over Jared and he knows it.
Another difference between Jared and Misha is that Misha takes liberties with other people's bodies whether he is familiar with them or not.  Jared has common sense.  He plays pranks on his co-workers, sure.  But he doesn't make them uncomfortable to the point where they don't make eye contact.  Take the tattoo scene with Alex.  In the gag reel, he is seductively caressing a grinning Alex's chest before Jensen gigglesnorts and triggers a laugh attack from the younger actor.  Alex, until that point, has known Jared for about two weeks [unless you count promo work during hiatus] and is comfortable with him.  He is not flinching during the whole scene.  He is just laughing and blushing.  Side note:  Alex has an adorable laugh.  Before using a gag reel, SPN editors ask an actor's permission to use a gag clip.  Alex said yes.  Jared made him laugh.  He didn't make Alex feel uncomfortable.
Unlike Misha, Jared doesn't force people to think he has sexual power.  He sort of just does.  The only thing that bothers him, is that pesky depression.  I find it insulting when people think Jared is physically and sexually weak because of depression.  Shame on you.  But other than that, sexually Jared is not a man you want to dare.  He shares his body generously, especially if he knows you.  One thing to note here, is that Jared doesn't sexually cross boundaries with Jensen, whom he loves the most from all his co-stars.  Well, not in public anyway.  According to BuddyTV, whilst rehearsing an argument scene between Dean and Sam, during Season 2, both Js suddenly stopped and started leaning in, very seductively, to kiss each other.  The director yelled cut and told the giggling scoundrels to ''do it properly this time''.  So why did Jensen get so angry when Misha bent Jared over on stage?
Jensen
If I guess correctly, Jensen is exactly like me.  Remember, the Vancon where Richard was not available to MC the event and the Wayward whatevers took over?  Remember their sexual display in front of Jared, Jensen and Rob?  I hated that sequence.  That is one of my favorite cons, because of Jared and that cardboard cutout, amongst other things.  So I always re-watch it and I always skip that bit.  I don't want to see that.  Two reason why.  First, Kim and Brianna overdid it.  The joke carried on for too long especially with children in the audience.  Second, I am a straight woman.  Their display neither aroused me or interested him.  I watch porn.  I watch gay and straight porn but the men have to be beautiful.  I am not going to sin with ugly men, thank you very much.  I don't watch girl on girl.  I don't like it.  And to have an exhibitionist do that right in front of my face, will tick me right off.
Jensen got irritated because he doesn't need to see that expletive right in front of his face, and in a public setting no less.  When he realized that Jared was not at fault, he signed his autograph over Jared's chest with a smile.  After all, Misha took the choice out of Jared's hands.  But Misha didn't get that courtesy.  Jensen constantly reminds Misha [and his hellers in fact] that ''this is a family show''.  Even Jared respects that rule and keeps his humor playful and without swearwords.  I noticed that with the Wayward whatevers Jensen just acknowledged that they were ''different'', he involuntarily enjoyed it [he is a straight man after all] but he didn't appreciate the display in that type of setting, because they were in public.  Jared seemed a little more uncomfortable with their display, ducking his head and turning away from them.  I think Jensen was able to school his facial features more than Jared, but both disapproved to a certain extent.  They are married men after all.  If Misha was there, he would have joined it.
Jensen is just like me sexually.  He is not a prude, he appreciates slash fiction for exactly what it is, but he doesn't like vulgarity and exhibitionism.  He does make dirty penis jokes with Jared, but they are not so over-the-top that you regret attending the con with a younger person.  Jensen is more shy that Jared is, especially around strangers.  Jensen is known for keeping his private life private [well he used to], which is why he cringed when Danneel said ''this is where the magic happens.'' when referring to their bedroom.  That is not a part of his life he wants to share with fans because unlike Misha, Jensen is actually a gentleman.  Jensen is not trying to be an Alpha.  His body language and baritone voice betrays him.  I think Jensen actually tries to be a big brother or nurturer to other people.  The Alpha thing is sort of accidental, just like with Jared.
Like me, Jensen doesn't like to strip down in front of cameras.  Jensen, just like me, can be very provocative with the right person.  He once took a ripped shirt photo with Jared and Sebastian.  They was trying to make deep cleavage shirts.  The deep cleavage idea belongs to Jensen.  He will never do that on stage though because he doesn't want the cons to go from family shows to something vulgar.  Jensen, like me, doesn't want to be crass and use cuss words during conversations.  If he is asked to speak about sex, I think he will speak about it very intelligently, without making it childish [like Jared would] or filthy [like Misha would].  Jensen was extremely succinct and accurate whilst discussing wincest.  It shows that he not only understands sex but also women and how the mind of a woman works.
I hope this answered your question sweetie.  If anyone disagrees, kindly let me know.  After all, it is just an opinion.  Sincere apologies for this long post.

Matchmakers
Pairing: Alex X Reader
Warnings: None yet
Series Summary:
Since I joined the cast of Supernatural, 5 years ago, they have made it their mission to find me a boyfriend, but things haven't been exactly easy. But when a new face joins the cast, the Padaleckis, the Ackles, and the Collins take it upon themselves to use the hiatus to become matchmakers.
PART 1
Tumblr media
The last couple of weeks have been pretty intense. With reshooting scenes, doing voice overs, and making sure everything is done for the season finale, I don't think there isn't any bone or muscle in my body that isn't crying for a good sleep. But of course there are stunts left to practice, and scenes that still need to be shot that I know will leave me broken, emotionally as well as physically.
"You look like crap" I hear Genevieve's voice before I even see her but then she appears next to me with a mocking smirk plastered on her face.
"That's what ending a season does to you" I sigh dramatically as I rest my back on the chair, a few bones craking. "Jared didn't say you were comming. Where are the kids?"
I lean forward, trying to look for them as Gen takes the seat next to me.
"Jared is somewhere showing off to Jensen how Odette is taller than Zep" Gen says, clearly not amused by her husband's childishness. "And Tom and Shep are playing with a helicopter Clif got them"
"As Odette's Godmother and Tom and Shep's favorite not blood related aunt, don't tell Danneel I said that, I deserve to see them first" I try to sound offended but Gen just rolls her eyes with a grin on her face. "Even before their father"
"So" Gen starts, and I already know the tone in her voice. "I've heard that you and Alex are getting along quite well"
"You and Danneel seriously need to find a hobby other than messing with my love life" I recriminate her with my eyes but she just laughs with a sparkle of guilt in her look. "She literally asked me that a couple of days ago"
"I'm just curious" She looks at me innocently but I know her better, her mind is already making some wicked plan. "You are single. He is single. It's just a thought"
"He is a really good friend, just that" I blush a little because I know that it's not just that. I mean, we are friends. But we are both aware that we are single so a couple of flirty comments have been exchanged, but nothing more. But Gen can’t know that. "He's okay, I guess"
"I've seen him, Y/N" Gen huffs, insulted by my way of minimazing how Alex really looks. "And 'okay' is not the word I would use to describe him"
"You are a married woman" I laugh but I know she is right. We've all seen Alex. He looks like the type of guy Disney would hire to play the prince in their next princess movie.
"But not a blind one" She coughs when we see Jared comming our way with Odette sitting on his shoulders, alongside with Alex and Jensen.
"Ladies" Jensen greets Gen with a soft kiss to the forehead, and sticks his tongue out to me. Classic.
"Aren't you guys supposed to be filming a scene?" I reach for Odette but Jared has to help me out since the height difference doesn't really allow me.
"Misha is currently running some lines with Ruth so we have a couple minutes to spare" I barely catch Alex's words over Odette's babbling.
"Oh, that's good, I guess" I smile at Alex and I can see from the corner of my eyes, the look that Jared, Jensen and, Gen are sharing.
"Hey, now that they are both here, maybe it's a good time to tell them, Gen" Jared looks down at her wife as Jensen’s grin spreads across his face as he shakes his head a little.
"Oh, yes!" Gen's eyes light up and she looks between Alex and I. "Jensen's family, as well as Misha's will be joing us for the break. We are going to our beach house there so we thought it would be a good idea for all of us to go together"
"We are all planning to meet at the airport to start the trip together from there" Jensen jumps in, catching my attention. "I could look for your tickets if you decide to come"
A couple of days by the beach don't sound bad at lot, even if the guys want to use it to play cupid. I definitely need a few days to unwind and to relax with a few piña coladas in my hand.
"I would love to" I nod at Jensen, and I catch Alex bitting his lips, as if his trying to hold back a smile.
"Yeah, me too" Alex looks up and smiles at me. "Count me in"
"It's going to be amazing" Gen smirks widly as she winks at me. "I promise"
-
"I love that kid but sometimes I want to strap him to a chair, I swear" Danneel grunts as Zep keeps running away from her, constantly almost bumping in all the people that are in our gate. "I don't know why he is not like his twin"
I eye up Arrow, who's sitting next to JJ with a bottle between her chubby hands as she watches her sister coloring.
"Maybe he gets it from his dad" I let out in almost a whisper so that Jensen can't hear me, but when I turn around, he's glaring at me. "I'm kidding"
"West was a lot worse, I felt like if I wasn't careful, he would jump through the roof" Vicky exhales and I honestly feel bad for this woman, I love those kids, but I know the energy that they have. I've had to babysit them and I had to preper myself emotionally for the wild ride that is taking care of 8 kids.
"Everyday you give me more reasons not to have babies" I laugh, even though I know I actually want kids. Eventually, tho. In a far future.
"Oh but we want a mini Alex" Gen grins, which makes Vicky and Dee laugh.
"You are seriously still on that?" I roll my eyes, trying to hold the smile on my face. "Not happening"
"Oh, come on" Dee insisted. "I've catch him looking at you or the other way around, or that time on set when you were all over each other"
"We were not" I gasp, looking around to make sure Alex can't hear us. "We are just friends, even if you girls don't believe it"
"We know you are just friends, honey" Vick giggles and it's so quick, I almost miss it. "We are just going to make sure it doesn't stay like that"
"You are evil" I try to sound irritated but I know the grin that is creeping through my face doesn't allow me to.
Suddenly Jensen stands up, catching everyone's attention. Even Zep who can't seem to stop bouncing on the top of his carry on.
"So I'm going hand out the tickets" He starts sorting the papers through his hands. He looks up at me and then at Alex. "Alex, Y/N, since you guys joined later I wasn't able to book the seats with us but you'll be together, at least" Off course we are.
"Don't corrupt my child, Y/N" Misha is the first one to speak, making everyone laughs as I just feel my cheeks getting red and warm by the second.
"Okay, they are boarding now" Jared grabs Shep's hand and pushes their carry ons with the other. "Let's go"
We all start walking towards the gate and I can tell the little joke going around between the families as they giggle and share looks as they watch Alex and I walking side by side. This feels like middle school. We walk through the jet bridge, the kids running between us as they chase each other. A few 'stop it' and 'be careful' are shared between the parents and the kids, which only gets them more giggles from the five older munchkins.
We greet the flight attendants at the door of the plane as they guide us to our seats. Dee grins at me as Alex and I walk pass her since our seats are not with them.
"I think these are ours" Alex point at two lonely seats at the last row. There are a few seats taken close to us but overall lonely, the closest person is two rows in front of us.
Can they be any more obvious?
"Do you want the window or the aisle?" Alex asks me as he opens the overhead bin to place our carry ons inside. As he does so, his arms flex, making his biceps pop. Oh Chuck. "Y/N?"
"Uh, window" I blush as I realize he caught me spacing over his muscles. "If you don't mind"
"Not at all" His sweet smile spreads across his face and I push myself towards the window before I space out again.
-
"Y/N" I feel a soft tapping on my shoulder but I just shrug it off, pushing my face deeper into my soft pillow.
"Y/N" Something nudges me harder this time so I groan, ready to murder who ever dared to wake me.
"What?" I open my eyes only to find a very humored flight attendant and Alex blushing as I'm basically using him as my private bed. I feel my cheeks getting red by the second as I try to make up some words. "Oh, God, I'm so sorry"
I try to apologize to Alex as I move myself as far away from him as I can, until I feel my back touch the window.
"It's okay" Alex laughs as he looks at the flight attendant as she is waiting for me. "Mhmm, you have to order, Y/N"
"Oh, yes! Sorry" I look at her with a guilty look on my face but she just smiles in return. "I'll have apple juice and..."
"Chicken or meat sandwich?" The flight attendant replies as she notices that I don't know the options.
"Chicken will do" I try to ignore Alex as I grab the plate from her. "Thank you, and again, sorry"
She mumbles a 'it's no problem' before walking away, leaving us in dead silence. Great, now you have to make small talk.
"So, how long did I sleep" I question Alex as I unwrap my meal. He choose the meat one which actually seems better than my option.
"About an hour, I think" He smiles a little and then proceeds to take a large bite of his sandwich. "I slept, too"
I can barely make out his words but I manage to understand him somehow. We finish eating in silence, occasionally letting out a chuckle at the movie that's playing in the tiny monitors in front of us.
"I think I'm going to check on the others" I close my table, grabbing the left overs in my hands.
I try to push myself between the front seat and Alex's legs so he notices and tries to make as much space as he possibly can. While I'm squeezing myself past him, all I can hope is that there isn't any sudden turbulence that would land me on top of him. Please.
I manage to make it to the aisle without throwing myself on top of Alex so I give myself a mental high five. I walk to the back of the plane where a flight attendant takes my trash and helps me dispose it.
I make my way to the main aisle, looking for my entire group, which I thought they'd be easy to find since they are traveling with 8 kids so that means noise. But I notice they're sleeping when I find them, except for Tom, who's playing something on his iPad.
"Hi" I kneel on the aisle, between Gen and Vic, trying not to make too much noise since I would probably get murdered by all the grown ups if I wake even one kid up.
"Oh, hey" Gen smiles at me tiredly and I know she was almost falling asleep. "How's everything back there?"
"Good" I nod my head more than I should've, totally acting normal. "Nothing out of the ordinary"
"That's not what I saw" Vic raises her eyebrow as she looks for something in her bag. She pulls out her phone and then looks for something until she is basically shoving it in front of our faces. "Looks like cuddling to me"
I gasp as I watch myself resting on Alex's side as he has his head on top of mine, just as asleep as I am.
"When did you take that?" I try to grab the phone but Vic is quicker, pulling it away from my reach.
"When I went to the bathroom" She throws the phone back in her purse, giving me a triumphant smirk.
"Not even a day into the trip and you are already getting busy" Gen teases me as she wiggles her eyebrows exaggeratedly.
"I fell asleep" I grunt, pushing my head between my hands. "I wasn't doing it on purpuse"
"Sure, sure" Gen nods her head, with a mocking tone in her voice.
"Okay, I think I'm just gonna go" I stand up as Gen rolls her eyes, muttering something about me denying the truth.
I walk back to my seat to find Alex watching something on his phone. He looks up at me and then proceeds to give me space to take my seat. I'm about to say something when the flight attendant speaks through the microphone. Her words are really hard to make out but I manage to understand that we are starting the landing process. "Finally" I sigh, putting on my seat belt.
"Good to know you enjoyed my company" Alex laughs, obviously teasing me.
"I didn't mean it like that" I roll my eyes. "Besides, you made a really good pillow"
"Good to know" He grins so before my cheeks give me away, I look out the window.
-
Before we left the airport to drive to the Padalecki's beach house, we decided to rent some cars. Obviously each family picked a car so Alex and I are sharing a car together. Just the two of us.
"So what are you must excited about?" Alex asks me as he drives while I look out the passenger's side.
"Just relaxing in general" I breath out as I catch a beautiful house in a distance which I asume is the Padelecki's. "You?"
"Just getting a little bit of sun" Alex slows down as we aproach the house, Jared driving in front of us and Jensen and Misha following behind. "I love Canada but I seriously need some warm weather"
"Tell me about it" I sigh as I feel the beachy breeze through the car window. "I can't wait to get off this clothes and into my bikini and just take all the sun"
"Make sure to invite me" Alex winks at me and parks next to Jared's. He's out of the car before I can even react.
I don't give myself time to blush because I'm Y/N. I can flirt if I want to. And he is not going to intimidate me. Well, at least I won't let him know that he does.
Alex comes up at my side, opening the door for me so I take my chance. "If you keep being such a gentleman, maybe I will" I hold myself by his bicep before giving it a light squeeze. I walk towards the others and I know Alex is walking behind me, trying to hold back a smirk. I know this because I am doing just that.
"Let's get the luggage inside so I can show everyone their room and then we could go down to the beach to watch the sunset" Gen suggest as Jared unloads their bags from their car.
"Y/A" Gen calls me as Alex goes back to the car to get our things. "The house has four rooms so we are all taking one so..."
"Let me guess" I roll my eyes as Jared and Gen share a guilty but totally on purpose look. "Alex and I are sharing"
————————————————————————-
Sooo, this is my first Supernatural story. I don't know why I chose Alex as my first because I'm usually a Sam girl, occasionally a Dean girl, too. This is the first part of the series, I don't intend to make it really long but we'll see as we go. Hope you like it and if you got any tips or recommendations, just let me know! English is not my first language so bear with me if I make any mistakes. Thanks ❤️

"Are you sure about this?” Jensen asked, standing in the doorway of their daughter’s room, his wife at his side. Danneel nodded, hands on her hips.
“Something’s not right with that girl,” she said. They’d been worried about Y/N, and it wasn’t just them. Teachers who had always had good things to say about her began calling home, saying Y/N wasn’t as involved, her grades were slipping. She stopped going out with friends and staying out late like she’d done nearly every weekend. Now, she preferred to stay home, locked away in her room.
At first, Jensen and Danneel were glad she was spending more time at home especially because she was spending more time with JJ and the twins. However, her being home quickly spiraled into isolation and quietness from the usually social and energetic teenager.
Danneel scanned the room, beginning at Y/N’s desk, pulling open the drawers, opening every contain, opening every notebook, and even emptying out pencil cases. She searched for any sign of something off. However, as she looked to Jensen, he still stood uncertain in the doorway, his arms crossed over his chest.
Danneel sighed, standing to her full height as she stood in front of him, “Hey,” she began, making him look down at her, “we’re doing this because we love Y/N, okay? Not to be mean, or, or invasive. You’re worried about her, right?”
“Of course I am-”
“Then if she’s not opening up to us, we’ll have to get down to the bottom of it for ourselves.” She knew how Jensen was feeling. They felt awful betraying Y/N’s trust by going through her room without her permission, but if it meant they’d find out what was wrong with their daughter, they would do anything. Their bigger fear, however, lay in what they might find that Y/N had been keeping from them.
Danneel looked up at her husband, running her hands up and down his arms slowly, “It’ll be okay.”
Jensen nodded, trusting his wife, following her into the room as she went back to the desk and Jensen began at her bedside table, pulling open the drawers one at a time. Magazines, food wrappers, nail polish, headphones. It all seemed normal to Jensen whose uneasiness began to waver. Maybe they were just over analyzing Y/N’s recently distant behavior.
“Table’s clear,” Jensen said, turning to his wife who shut the desk drawers.
Danneel nodded, moving on to her dresser, raking through the numerous clothes and socks. “So is the desk.”
Jensen turned on his heel, searching through the closet next to the bed, pushing the clothes away but still coming up empty handed. His eyes raked the closet, eyeing a box sitting atop a shelf. He reached towards it, his fingertips just grazing the edge of it. He sighed, reaching again as he stood on his tip toes, extending his arms out to pull the box down. However, as he hooked a finger around the cardboard it came toppling down over him, numerous random items falling around him.
Danneel jumped at the sound as she looked over to Jensen who was still shielding his head.
“Nice going, James Bond,” Danneel laughed lightly, helping him to clean up the box, throwing back in pieces of loose paper, notepads, her old iPod, CD’s and a few books.
Jensen threw the last of the items back into the box, getting down on his stomach to check for any loose items that may have rolled under the bed. However, as he blindly searched, something under the bed glinted off of the sunlight pouring through the window directly above them.
It was secured with duct tape to the bottom side of her mattress frame, three long, cylindrical objects along with a more rectangular one.
A sick feeling of dread overwhelmed Jensen as he reached for the tape, slowly pulling it away from the wood until the four items still stuck to the tape rested in the palm of his hand, just the weight of them making him want to vomit.
He slowly pulled them out from under the bed, his hand shaking slightly as they were brought into the light, the harsh reality of the truth of what they were pouring over him.
“What is that?” Danneel asked, unable to see it over the box between them. Jensen’s hand shook at the effort it took for him to keep himself afloat, part of him wanting to hide what he’d found from Danneel for forever. Danneel’s eyes flicked up to Jensen who kept his eyes trained at his open hand. Her heart dropped, “Jensen...please.”
Without a word, he pushed the box away, revealing three syringes and a bag of powdered cocaine.

Jensen and Danneel made sure JJ, Arrow, and Zeppelin weren’t home when Y/N arrived. Jared and Gen were more than willing to bring them into their home for a few hours.
They sat at their kitchen table, uncovered drug sitting in front of them as if taunting them, mocking them as if saying, I’m what stole your daughter from you.
They didn’t say much as they waited for four o’clock when Y/N got back from school everyday. They held each other like life preservers, anger and sadness and guilt rushing through their veins.
How could they let this happen?
Jensen and Danneel had been so caught up in their thoughts they hadn’t heard the front door open, signaling Y/N was home. They didn’t hear her when she threw her backpack down onto the floor, they didn’t even hear her when she entered the kitchen.
“I’m home,” she said quietly, jolting her parents back to reality as they turned halfway around in their chairs, their eyes sad as they, for the first time, took in the true sight of their daughter.
Y/N’s skin was pale, a striking difference from its usually golden tan color. Her eyes used to be a powerful green, just like Jensen’s. Now, it’d seemed like they’d lost all color. She was thinner, too. Her eyes and cheeks sunken, clothes looking as if they were three sizes too big.
“What’s going on?” Y/N asked, only half interested, wanting to retreat into her bedroom.
Jensen and Danneel’s eyes raked over their daughter’s body sadly before Danneel spoke, “Why don’t you take a seat, honey.”
Y/N stood frozen in her spot as she eyed her parents suspiciously before slowly coming around to the other side of the table when her worst nightmare came true.
It was the long needle that grabbed her attention first, her heart dropping what felt like hundreds of feet down to her stomach and then another hundred feet down to her toes when she saw the baggy laying next to them.
Y/N’s palms began to sweat, her heart racing as she subconsciously felt her inner arm where she chose to inject herself. Her knees buckled, her face went white.
“What were you thinking, Y/N?” Jensen asked, noticing her reaction. Anger licked at his words but sadness gripped him like a vice.
Y/N’s mouth opened and closed, unsure what to say, clenching her fist at her side, saying the only words she could think of, “Why did you go through my room?”
The words snapped something deep inside of Jensen, igniting the already burning flame of anger. He stood up so fast the chair he’d been sitting in clambered to the floor, his fist coming down hard on the table, startling both Danneel and Y/N.
“That’s what you’re concerned about!?” He nearly screamed, his face becoming red. “These drugs- these things will kill you, Y/N!”
“Jensen-” Danneel tried, resting a hand on his arm but he shook his head, hoping, pleading that his daughter would hear him.
“Why?” he begged. Y/N’s head hung low, tears brimming her eyes. “Why would you do this to yourself?”
They waited for Y/N to answer, to give them some kind of clue as to why she thought this was a good idea. She struggled with the hard truth or a lie that wouldn’t make them feel as bad.
“Other kids were doing it-”
“Bullshit, Y/N.” Jensen said calmly, shaking his head. “You’re better than that.”
Y/N sighed, swallowing roughly, not taking her eyes off of the floor, “I was lonely,” she said simply, choosing her words carefully, “I felt like, with the twins being born and JJ and everything, I didn’t fit into your perfect little picture anymore, you know? A young couple with a young family.”
“You don’t really believe that, do you?” Danneel asked, her heart breaking, the scene making her want to cry. “Y/N, your dad and I, we love you more than life itself, honey. We- we can’t imagine life without you. You’re our baby girl.”
Y/N snuck a glance at her parents, her mom, her superhero and best friend. Her dad, her knight in shining armor, her protector. Jensen shook his head at his daughter’s words in pain.
“You’re my baby,” he said through tears, “my little girl, and when I saw this, under your bed-” he paused, swallowing the lump in his throat, “I was so fucking scared that I was going to lose you.”
Y/N wiped at her tears with the sleeve of her shirt, regretting every choice she’d made in the last two months that lead up to this. “I’m so sorry.”
“C’mere, honey,” Danneel said, opening her arms to bring Y/N onto her lap, sobs pouring out of their daughter. Danneel wiped away her tears as she smoothed down Y/N’s hair, “If you ever feel this way again, you come to us, okay?”
Y/N nodded, looking up to her dad who quickly brought her to his chest, his grip strong around her shoulders. “You’re my girl, Y/N. Don’t you forget that.”

Accidental Extras
Tumblr media
Title: Accidental Extras
Pairings: Misha x OFC Lilly, Jensen x OFC Nicole.
Tags: RPF, acting, slow burn
A/N: This is my first ever fanfic. Ever.  I figure my first fanfic might as well be a Supernatural one.
Background: This fic is loosely based off of myself and my friend, @jessyackles   Lilly and Nicole go on vacation and while they are there on vacation, they sign up to be extras in a T.V. show and the fun develops from there.  This is set somewhere in season 4-6.
Chapter 1
Lilly was one of those women that you'd see anywhere.  She was not excessively attractive to most people.  She was average in height and overweight.  She had a mediocre job and blended in pretty much everywhere she went.  Sure, there were people that preferred curvier redheads with pale skin, freckles, and green eyes in their twenties; however, those were usually hard to find.  Lilly was content with her life.  She had a few close friends and not too much to stress over.
One of Lilly's best friends was Nicole.  Nicole was outgoing and passionate about the things she enjoyed.  One of her favorite things was the show Supernatural.  Lilly had never seen the show before she introduced her to it.   Nicole had seen every episode at least three times, that she would admit.  Lilly was nowhere near seeing all the episodes, but she was making progress slowly but surely.
Both women had accumulated a nice amount of vacation time and had decided to take a vacation together.  Neither of them had ever been to Canada before and they already had their passports, so it was decided to head north from their midwestern home.  Lilly was looking forward to taking some much-needed R&R and doing some sightseeing.  Nicole, however, had a completely different plan for them.
Their flight had gone smoothly, and they arrived at Vancouver International Airport excited to start their vacation.  They reached their hotel, the Westin Grand, Vancouver.  Lilly jumped and landed on the bed face down, spread eagle.  Nicole laughed and did the same.  "I can not wait to check out that pool tomorrow and drink fruity drinks in fancy glasses and tiny little umbrellas," Lilly explained to Nicole.
"Well, about that…" Nicole trailed off.
"What? Oh my god, please don't tell me that you signed us up for some hike at 8 in the morning.  I know you love a fucking activity, but this is supposed to be a vacation, Nic."
"I most certainly did not sign us up for a hike.  Gross. I did, however, possibly sign us up to be extras in a T.V. show!"
Lilly's mouth dropped open in shock.  "What? Why did you do this to me?  You know I can't handle those 10 pounds that cameras add.  This is going to be so embarrassing."  Lilly sighed and rubbed her temples with her hands.  "Fine.  What show are we going to be on, anyway?" she asked Nicole.
"Well, about that…" Nicole trailed off again.
"For fuck's sake, Nicole.  Just please tell me that if you signed us up for a porno that we're at least getting paid really, really well."
Nicole laughed so hard she fell over on the bed.  Once she regained her composure and could breathe again, she looked at Lilly and said, "No.  It is nothing like that.  I just don't quite know what show we're going to be on.  They were super vague and secretive.  They did state that there was no nudity, though.  I'm sorry I crushed your dreams of being an amateur Canadian porn star."
Lilly giggled as Nicole nudged her with her elbow.   "We might want to unpack and get ready to head to bed.  We do have to make our debut on screen tomorrow, after all."
The girls woke up at in the morning refreshed and excited about the day ahead of them. They both freshened up a little bit and headed downstairs to their hotel for breakfast filled the mouth-watering bacon, succulent fruit, and fresh made bread and pastries.
After they finished their breakfast, they headed back to their room to begin getting ready for the day.  Lilly decided to curl her hair into loose, wavy curls while Nicole straightened her long, raven hair.  Lilly put on a pair of dark wash straight legged jeans, a flattering white, V neck t-shirt, black flats, and a faux leather jacket.  She stepped back into the main room where Nicole was sitting on the couch waiting for her.  "Wow, you're really making me feel underdressed for this, Nic," Lilly told her.  Nicole was wearing a red, knee length, spaghetti strap dress that perfectly accentuated her ample cleavage.   She was wearing a gold bangle bracelet on her wrist, a few thin, gold necklaces, and gold-toed flats.  Nicole blushed slightly as a sly grin slowly crept onto her face.  "Don't sell yourself short there, hotshot.  If you dress more like this back home, you might get more action."
Lilly and Nicole grabbed their purses and made their way to the lobby.  They hailed a cab to the studio.  Their drive through Vancouver was beautiful and they arrived soon enough.   They got out of the cab and walked up to the building.
The building was large and vague. They were both confused and sure that they did not have the right address.  There were no signs and the overall building looked unwelcoming.  Nicole started to walk towards the door.  She felt Lilly's eyes on her and she knew what she was thinking.  "Look, Lilly, we signed up for this.  We might as well go and check it out.  If all else fails, maybe you will be that amateur actress you were dreaming of," Nicole smirked at her.  Lilly sighed silently and walked with Nicole to the door.  Before they had a chance to knock, a man opened the door looking frantic.
"You two, get in here already," he ordered, obviously annoyed.  "You two are the extras, right?"  The girls nodded, silently.  "Right.  I'm Robert, the casting director.  Long story short, the two actresses we hired are nowhere to be found and we have to spots we need to fill.  Y'all got any experience in this?"
"Um, yeah. Totally.  We were both active in drama class when we were in school and we performed all the time.  Lilly here was even in a few local commercials," Nicole retorted.  She gained confidence as she spoke.  She was naturally charismatic and always sure of herself, which Lilly always admired.
"Okay. Good.  My assistant, Annalese, is going to handle this from here. Good luck," Robert informed them and started to walk away before he turned around and warned them, "Oh, and do not screw this up."
"Hi, I'm Annalese.  Don't worry about him.  He's always like that," she told them with a warm smile.
"So, what show are we going to be in, anyway?" Nicole asked.
"Oh, yeah, it's this show called Supernatural," Annalese responded.
"Supernatural?!" Nicole and Lilly almost yelled in unison.
"Ah, so I guess you've heard of it?  That is one reason why we kept the description for the extras vague.  Alright, let's get you both over to costume and makeup to see if they want to do anything different with you two.  Trisha! I have two of the extras for you for costume and makeup!" She yelled as he walked off.  Lilly and Nicole turned to each other and stared at each other, mouths agape, still in shock.
"Nicole, I take back everything I said before. Thank you so much." Lilly said, almost in a whisper.  "This is going to be amazing"
They were lead to the costume and makeup area where they met Trisha.  "You two are making my job really easy.  If I can be frank, you two already look stunning and almost exactly what we envisioned for these characters.  Alright, Lilly, is it?"
Lilly nodded.
"Awesome.  We're going to keep the pants and the jacket.  Let's get you into these heels and this top."  The high heels were a beautiful emerald green and sexy.  The top was the same color, but silky and low cut.  They brought out her eyes and made them shine like emeralds under the bright sun.
Tumblr media
"Okay, Nicole.  Your dress is perfect, but we are going to have you wear these gold heels.  We like heels here, can you tell?" Andrea laughed to herself.  The pair got changed into their respective outfits.
Tumblr media
"We look damn good, Lilly," Nicole said to Lilly with a smile.
A moment later, the director from before was back and handed Lilly and Nicole each a script.
"Okay, so read over this real quick so that you get the gist of what we're trying to do with this scene.  You don't have to memorize it word for word because we do okay with making some stuff up as you go.  You two are on set in 10 minutes," he told them and then like magic he was gone.  The two read over the scripts as fast as they could until they heard a familiar voice.
"Ah, I think we have our fresh meat over here, Misha," Jensen joked.  The two men were miraculously more attractive in person.  And taller-so much taller in person. The two men were standing in front of them, smiling.
"Hi, I'm Nicole, and this is my friend, Lilly,"  Nicole smiled warmly and extended her hand for a handshake.
"It is nice to meet both of you and we hope you have fun filming with us.  Oh, and Lilly, you don't have to be so nervous.  We don't bite...too hard," Misha said to them with a wink.  Nicole felt herself blush and start to bite her lower lip instinctively before she forced herself to stop.
"Thank you both.  I-" Lilly was interrupted by a loud voice yelling out, "Everyone on set!"
The group headed to the set.  Their scene was set in a bar.  Lilly and Nicole positioned themselves at the bar, per their script.
"Action!"
Jared, Misha, and Jensen walked into the bar in their respective character- Sam, Cas, and Dean.  "Yeah, we have to come up with a plan to kill the demon, but ya know what?  Until then, Imma sit my ass down, have myself a drink, and try to have some fun," Dean said with a smirk.
"Okay, Dean.  I think those two women at the bar might be able to assist in what you find 'fun'," Cas responded with a slow turn to Nicole and Lilly.
Lilly and Nicole laughed with each other.  "Bartender, four more tequila shots, please?" Lilly asked with a sultry smile.  Once the shots were handed to them, she sat one down and positioned the other between Nicole's breasts.  She playfully pulled Nicole's hair to expose the left side of her neck.  She licked a spot with her tongue and pour some salt on her neck, and positioned a lime in her mouth.  Lilly slowly licked the salt off of Nicole's neck. Lilly then put her face into Nicole's cleavage, retrieving the tequila shot with her mouth and slung her head back, drinking it down and finished by getting the lime out of Nicole's awaiting, full lips.
"Damn!" Dean said sucking in a breath.  "You know what? Cas, I think you should go see what they're up to.  See about getting a body shot," Dean said with a wink.  "Go get 'em, slugger."
"I don't play baseball, Dean," Cas said with a confused look before he walked up to Lilly and Nicole.
"Hello.  I'm Cas.  I was wondering what you were doing," Cas said to them.
"We're just doing some body shots, Cas. I'm Lilly and this is my girlfriend, Nicole," she said to him with a warm, smile.
"What is a body shot?"  He asked confused.
"Here, let me show you," Lilly said with a wicked smile.  She sat Cas down on a barstool. She grabbed a tequila shot from the bar and placed it between Cas' muscular legs right in his groin.  She gently moved his head to the side and licked his neck before she added some salt.  She placed her hand on his chin and instructed, "Open, please."  Cas opened his mouth willingly, but obviously confused.  Lilly looked at Cas with desire in her eyes.
She felt the tension between her thighs as she slid her tongue across his neck. She leaned down between his legs and grabbed the shot glass with her mouth, wishing for the hard item in her mouth to be something else entirely. She threw her head back causing her hair to follow.  She grabbed the shot glass and handed it back to Nicole who sat it on the bar.  Finally, she leaned into him and to retrieve the lime from his mouth.  After a moment of drinking in what she just did, she told him, "That is one version of a body shot.  If you're feeling frisky, you can take one off of Nicole," Lilly said to them both mischievously.
"Sure," Cas said, standing up.
Lilly set up Nicole as she had done before.  Cas tenderly licked the salt off of Nicole's neck.  Lilly could see the goosebumps forming on Nicole's arms.  Cas slowly put his head between Nicole's breasts to get the shot before he drank it.  He placed his hand on Nicole's face and moved to her lips to get the lime.
"Either you knew that would happen, or you're disappointed that it went so well for him, Dean," Sam said to Dean with a laugh.
"Shut up, Sam," Dean said, obviously annoyed as he slammed back the rest of his whiskey. "Cas, let's go!" Dean yelled over to him.
"Thank you," Cas said to them, earnestly as he walked towards Dean and Sam heading towards the door.
"Anytime," Lilly responded with a wink.
"Cut!" The director yelled out.  "That was great everyone.  Get ready for the next scene in 10!"
"Holy shit, Nic.  Is this really happening?" Lilly asked Nicole in a whisper.
"You bet your hot ass it is.  You can sing my praises later," Nicole responded with a wink.
"You two are doing great.  Keep up the great work," the director said to them with a smile.

The Unexpected Perks of Being a Nanny~ Chapter Thirty-One
Pairing: Jared x Reader
Word Count: 2.5k
Warnings: Pregnancy, Swearing.
Beta: @mack-winchester @invisibledevour
Within the next few weeks, you and Jared started to do more things as a family. Jared was on hiatus, which gave you two the time to really act like a couple and do couple-y things, along with giving you two the time to actually be close with each individual kid. Tom, Shep and Odette really liked having their daddy home all the time. Even though you wanted to devote most of your time to the kids, you needed a break. Jared suggested you two watch a movie. Jensen and Danneel were still in Vancouver. They headed to Austin after your baby shower, but came back two weeks later. The kids also went to Austin with Gen for the week, which have you and Jared a break.
“Infinity War just came out. Why don’t we go see that?” Jared suggested.
“Yeah! I really want to see that movie!” You grinned.
You were now thirty-three weeks pregnant, which excited you because you would get to meet your new baby in about seven weeks, but it also scared you for the same reason. Jensen and Dee offered to take the kids to the park for a bit so you and Jared could catch the movie. You tried to convince the two to come watch the movie, insisting the next door neighbour would be more than happy to watch all the kids.
“Don’t be silly, Y/N. We want to watch over them. It’ll be nice to spend some time with them!” Danneel exclaimed.
After the movie was over, you and Jared returned home. You still couldn’t get over what happened!
“You should’ve seen it! Y/N break down in tears when Peter di-” Jared started.
“-Whoa! Whoa. Hey.”  Jensen intervened. “Dude. No spoilers.”
“Oh, sorry.” Jared chuckled.
“I was heartbroken! I cried a lot, Okay? It’s like totally different than you expect it to be. I would definitely recommend you guys go see it.” You smiled, rubbing your belly.
“We’re planning on it.” Danneel smiled. “It’ll be our next date night.”
You spent the rest of the afternoon with Danneel  and Jensen while the kids played in the backyard. Tom was almost finish Kindergarten for the year, which was super exciting!
“So… How’s the Preeclampsia going?” Danneel asked, trying to start up conversation.
“It’s going… okay. I’m not as sick as I used to be.” You smiled.
“How are you with the whole Myles thing?”
“I’m doing good. I’m coping with it, Jared too. We’re learning how to feel more like a couple again and not an adult comforting a teenager or young adult.” You nodded.
“Well, I’m happy for you two.” Danneel smiled. “I haven’t been up to the nursery yet since you guys finished it. Take me up there?”
“Yeah, yeah! Of course.”
You waddled up to the nursery with Danneel on your heels.
“And this is the nursery!” You showed her the cute room, with a brand new crib, changing table, dresser, rocking chair and shelving.
“Wow! This is beautiful, Y/N!” Danneel gasped.
You grinned, “watch this.”
You took a seat in the rocking chair and started to push yourself back and forth.
“It works a lot better when Jared’s here, but just give it a moment.” You rubbed your belly. “Bonjour mon petit bébé. C’est maman!”
Danneel sat down in front of you, watching your bump intently.
“Je suis avec ta tante, elle s'appelle Danneel. Est-ce que tu peux bouger pour tante Dee?”
“Hi baby Padalecki! It’s auntie Dee!” Danneel cooed, rubbing your bump. “I know some french, but what did you just say?”
“I said that I’m with your aunt and her name is Danneel. I also said can you move for Aunt Dee? Tu aimes le français et tu aimes bouger pour ton papa.” You exclaimed.
“He or she loves french and he or she loves to move for it’s dad!” Danneel grinned.
“You’re a fast learner.” You giggled.
Danneel gasped, “Look, Y/N! It’s a foot!”
You looked down to see a foot sticking out of your right side.
You gasped as well, “I’ve never really seen that before.”
“You haven’t seen the baby’s foot stick out like that? It was really weird with the twins because one of their feet would be sticking out on the right side and the other’s foot would be sticking out on the opposite side.” Danneel chuckled.
You touched the baby’s foot and grinned as it retracted into your belly.
“Let’s head back downstairs, Frenchie.” Danneel smiled, pulling you up out of the rocking chair.
You waddled back down the stairs and headed into the backyard. It was now mid June- and it was very hot in Vancouver. The boys were sitting on the deck watching the three older kids playing on the playset, which included swings, a slide and a swinging bench, and they watched the three younger kids play in the sandbox. You took a seat on the edge of Jared’s lap, but he proceeded to wrap his arms around you and pull you closer.
“Did you like he nursery, Dee?” Jared smiled.
“Yeah! It was very nice! Y/N and I seen the baby’s foot stick out!” Danneel exclaimed.
You, Jared and The Ackles talked on the deck for hours before Jensen and Danneel left. That night, it was just you, Jared and the kids. You loved that you were able to get some quality time in with Jared. Between him always working and you chasing three energy filled kids around all day, you two had no time for your relationship. The next few weeks were liberating! Other than conventions, you and Jared spent a lot of time together! Your due date, which is in August, was rapidly approaching. Which also meant that Jared’s birthday was next week and you still had no idea what to get him. You would be thirty-seven weeks pregnant, which was nerve wracking for you because you wouldn’t be able to do much with regards to throwing parties. Jared was down in the States for a convention and you planned on FaceTiming with him so that the fans could ask you some questions. You got comfy on the couch, meaning you grabbed your pillows and lied down, Arlo curled up around your baby bump. As a Golden Retriever, Arlo wasn’t small by any means! However, his size didn’t seem to bother him.
“He must think he’s a Shitzu.” You murmured aloud.
You propped your phone up against your baby bump and scratched Arlo’s head as you waited for the FaceTime call to connect.
“Hey Y/N!” Jared cheered.
“Hey dada.” You giggled.
It was a habit that you just couldn’t break! Between constantly calling Jared ‘dad’ for the sake of the kids and for the baby, it’s become a little joke between you two.
“How’s the convention going?” You asked curiously.
“It’s going really good! I’m going to turn you around so you can see all the fans.”
Jared turned his phone towards the crowd so you could see all the fans. They all cheered when you started to wave.
Once they settled down, you said, “hey guys, how are you?”
The crowd cheered again. You were really nervous about this. Just as nervous as you were at your first convention. But you remembered how you eased into it and how you felt comfortable with the crowd after a while. You knew you would do the same today. Your preeclampsia subsided for the day, but your Braxton Hicks contractions didn’t.
“I think we’ll take some questions now, right Y/N?” Jared’s voice sounded through your phone speakers.
“Right.” You agreed.
Jared picked a fan, who promptly asked you a question through a microphone.
“Do you know if you’re having a girl or a boy?”
“No, we decided to keep it a secret.” You smiled. “Only a month more and we’ll know!”
Jared picked another fan.
“Doesn’t preeclampsia most commonly happen in pregnancies with multiples? Are you having twins?”
“No, I’m not having twins. It does happen in pregnancies with multiples but it can also happen in first time mothers.” You explained.
Come to think of it, you weren’t really a first time mother. The fans didn’t need to know that you lost a baby when you were eighteen. You answered a few more questions before ending the call.
“C’mon, sook.” You scratched behind Arlo’s ears as you sat up. “Y/N’s gotta go to the grocery store.”
You hooked Arlo onto his leash out in the backyard. You put a bowl of cold water out in a shaded area for him.
“I’ll be back soon, then we can go on a walk.” You cooed to the dog, then pressed a kiss on his head.
Immediately, you grabbed the car keys and hopped up in the truck. You drove all the way to the grocery store without a hitch. After grabbing a cart, you headed into the store.
“Maman doit acheter des légumes pour le souper.” You spoke to your baby bump.
You received a kick from the baby and let a smile creep across your face. After picking up various vegetables for dinner, you headed into the snack aisle.
“Tu ne peux pas dire à ton père que j’ai acheté des biscuits.” You giggled. “Il va tuer moi.”
Jared wanted you to be as healthy as you could during your pregnancy, which meant you couldn’t buy cookies. But what Jared doesn’t know, isn’t going to hurt him and it most certainly won’t hurt you. While deciding on which pack of cookies to pick, a young woman approached you. She had shoulder length, straight, dark brown hair. She was about your height, maybe an inch or two shorter. She was wearing a bright red lipstick and sporting an amazing Smokey-eye look. The woman was wearing a pair of short, Jean shorts and a baggy tank which read ‘Metallica’ across her chest.
“I couldn’t help but come over here and see your bump! Do you mind if I feel?” The woman exclaimed, tucking a piece of her hair back behind her ear.
“No, I don’t mind.” You smiled, turning away from the cart so the woman could place her hand on your belly.
One thing you will not miss about being pregnant is random people coming up to you and asking to feel your bump. All you wanted to do was get some groceries! You weren’t trying to put yourself on display.
“The baby really likes the french language.” You remarked. “I’m trying to teach my boyfriend’s kids how to speak it, but they aren’t as interested.”
“Oh that’s pretty cool!” The woman smiled up at you. “My momma can speak french, but I never bothered.”
“It’s pretty handy. Est-ce que tu peux bouger pour la fille?”
“I felt it.” She smiled. “Hi in there baby!”
You decided on plain Mr. Christie’s chocolate chip while the woman was feeling the baby move and tossed them down in the cart.
“You must be due any day now.” You concluded.
“Four weeks from today, actually!” You grinned.
“Wow! Congratulations.” The lady grinned. “I’ll let you get back at your grocery shopping. Thanks for letting me feel!”
Once the woman in the band tee left, you picked up a couple of extra things, paid for them, then left. A cashier insisted that he get someone to help you load your groceries into you vehicle, but you said you would be fine. You were pregnant… not dying, right? You got yourself here and you would manage to get yourself home. You pushed the cart of groceries out to Jared’s F-250 and loaded them up in the back seat. After returning the cart to a cart corral, you began the drive back home. You were still on the main road when you found that the truck became harder to steer.
“What the fuck.” You hissed, as the steering wheel started vibrating. “Great. Just great.”
You pulled over on the side of the two-laned highway and waited until you got a break in traffic so you could open your door. When you hopped out, the back tire on the driver’s side was flat. You were as big as a whale, having Braxton Hicks contractions and suffering from Preeclampsia- there was no way you were lying down on the ground to drop the spare tire from under the truck, then try and change it all by yourself. You leaned up against the side of the tan colored Ford F-250 and combed through Yellow Pages, looking for a nearby garage number. You clicked the call button on the number and tapped your foot while you waited for someone to pick up.
“Hello, Bartlett’s Garage, I’m Linda how may I help you?” Linda’s soft and friendly voice came through the phone.
“Hi, I’m Y/N, I’m on the side of the main drag with a flat tire.” You side, rubbing your forehead.
“Oh, you can’t get the tire off, can you?”
You just loved when people assumed that because you’re a woman, you couldn’t get a flat tire off your truck- Not!
“No.” You stated calmly. “I am thirty-six weeks pregnant, my boyfriend and our friends are out of town. I haven’t attempted to get the tire off.”
“Okay, Where exactly are you? I’ll send someone right away to come out and help you.” Linda exclaimed.
You gave the receptionist your exact location then got back into the truck, waiting for someone to show up. After ten minutes, a truck with a company logo pulled up behind you. Several drivers pulled over and offered you help, but you insisted that someone was on the way to help you. You messaged Jared, but to no surprise, you didn’t get a response. Jared was always busy when It came to conventions.
Tumblr media
You posted a photo for Jared’s fans to see captioning it with “Being 36 weeks pregnant and stranded on the side of the highway isn’t ideal… #ineedtopee.”
“Hi there.” You smiled, hopping down out of the truck.
“Hi, Linda told me you needed some assistance ASAP?” The tall, older man, wearing the name tag ‘John’, approached you.
“Yeah, yeah. I would’ve tried it myself only I’ve been having Braxton Hicks all day and I was diagnosed with Preeclampsia when I was twenty-five weeks pregnant.” You sighed.
“Well It was much better to call someone, wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself or the baby over a tire.” John shot you a smile.
You watched as the mechanic loosened up the bolts on the tire and took it off. Then he placed the spare tire on the truck. It took about twenty minutes.
“Do you mind following me down to the garage? There’s a fee to pay for these kinds of things.”
“I don’t mind. Just let me run home first. I left my dog, Arlo, outside and I promised him that I wouldn’t be long. I don’t want him to run out of water or shade, or anything.” You explained.
You ran back to the house, rushing to put the groceries away then headed into the backyard where Arlo was sprawled out in the shade. You jingled his leash. He shot up immediately, his head cocked over to you.
“Let’s go for a drive, huh? Then Y/N will give you some fresh, clean, cold water and a walk.” You grinned, clipping Arlo ono his leash.
Arlo let out a content bark and walked to the truck by your side. You opened the door and he jumped up.
“Atta boy.” You grinned.

Text
Just You
Tumblr media
(gif just because he’s cute)
Fandom: Supernatural Pairing: Rob Benedict x reader Warnings: Rob isn’t married in this. Jason Manns is reader’s BFF. Slight angst, fluff. Type: One-shot Word Count: 3,378 A/N: This is my fic for @iwantthedean'sTwo-Prompt One-Shot Challenge! I would have had this written sooner but I knew that seeing Rob at the Station Breaks concert in Georgia would give me an idea, and it did. Also, work got in the way, which is why this is a little late. (In-concert dialogue edited to fit the tone.) My prompt is in bold. Enjoy!
You hadn’t told Rob you’d be at the show tonight. It was supposed to be a surprise for the whole band, but a week before the concert Jason had stumbled across the plane ticket you had left sitting on top of your dresser. You grin at the memory. You had nearly choked on toothpaste when he came into the bathroom, eyebrows raised in an incredulous expression. “This is real, right?” he’d asked. You had rolled your eyes, rinsing your mouth before answering, “No, dummy, it’s a Monopoly plane ticket. Yes, it’s real. Surprise.” There are no secrets between you two. Even when you try to keep something from one another, it’s nearly impossible to hide it for long. You’ve been best friends with Jason for what felt like your entire life, even though the two of you met when you were in sixth grade and he was in eleventh. The school you attended went from sixth grade up through twelfth, and it was a group of heckling seniors that Jason protected you from. Regardless of the five years between you two, he quickly became a brother-figure and a best friend. When he discovered that you’d be flying from California to Georgia just to see the show, you made him promise not to tell Rob. He agreed, but of course the rest of the band knew within the hour. So as you take your seat at the top of the wooden stadium seats in the back of the small room of Eddie’s Attic, you know that the texts coming through to your phone are from four of the five members of the Station Breaks. Sure enough, you have five unread messages. One each from Billy, Cooper, and Kiel (who is filling in for Humphreys), and two from Jason. The first three express similar sentiments hoping you enjoy the show. The two from Jason make your heart beat a little faster.
7:39pm I’ll be looking for you out there. Really glad you came to see us play 7:41pm Can’t wait to see Rob’s face when he finds out you’re here You shake your head, sending quick replies to the four of them before locking your phone. There’s still some time before the show is set to begin, leaving you with your thoughts. You think back to a few years ago when Jason had introduced you to what has become like his second family: Jared, Jensen, Misha, both Marks, Matt, Rich, Rob, and the rest of the Supernatural Family. You had been blown away by how attractive Jared and Jensen were, but it was Rob who you kept coming back to talk to. You couldn’t help it. From the moment you met him, he’s had a comforting aura to him, much like your best friend, and the way he looked at you with those bright blue eyes of his made you feel some kind of way. Jason knew before you did that you had a crush on Rob. You denied it for months, but after Jason invited you to a convention just last year, you couldn’t hide from the truth any longer. If Jason is the first person you reach out to when something happens in your life, Rob is a close second. In the few years that you’ve known him, he’s been nothing but kind to you. Always willing to listen, always supportive, always ready to offer help. You could sit and talk for hours with him and still find new things to say. It doesn’t hurt that he’s easily as attractive as J2. That patch of silver in his beard and the laughter-lines around his eyes never fail to make your heart stutter. Your phone vibrating jolts you out of your thoughts of Rob. Glancing down at the screen, you fight back a smile. It’s from Jason. 7:57pm Are you sure I can’t tell Rob you’re here? The man won’t shut up about you Your thumbs dance over the keyboard as you contemplate what to say back. No you can’t tell him, is what you type out. Deciding to ignore the second half of the text, you hit send. 7:59pm Fine, fine. Spoilsport Rolling your eyes, you again lock your phone. Jason has never outright said that you aren’t the only one with feelings, but he’s hinted at it a handful of times over the years. Every time he brings it up, you laugh and say, “Yeah, just like Tommy had a crush on me in the seventh grade.” He never says anything after that, but he’s never dropped the subject completely. You catch yourself wondering, not for the first time, whether your best friend is telling the truth this time. Even if he is, part of you is convinced he must have misunderstood whatever it is that Rob tells him. You’re nearly fifteen years younger than Rob, and even in today’s world such an age difference would be frowned upon, especially since Rob is something of a celebrity and you’re just another person working towards an impossible goal of breaking into the screenwriting industry. Truth be told, you’re more worried about the fandom than the media. While most fans are the good kind, you’ve heard stories about certain fans who give the rest a bad rep. Pulling yourself away from that train of thought, you shake your head and look around the room. There are at least twenty people here wearing Rock God shirts. That makes you smile. It’s always nice to see the support the actors are given. After another few minutes of waiting, Jason’s friend Hayden Lee is introduced shortly after 8 o’clock. He carries his guitar to the stage, and you cheer with everyone else. You’ve known Hayden for many years now, and you’ve been to countless jam sessions between him and Jason. You know all of Hayden’s songs by heart, so you find yourself quietly singing along to each of them. He ends with your favorite song of his, “Revolution,” and when it ends you whoop louder than the rest, proud of your friend. He’s come a long way, and hopefully he’ll go even further. He thanks the crowd one last time before adjusting the mic stand down a good half foot. Laughter ripples through the room; Rob’s height is a known source of humor in the fandom, as you’ve come to learn. To you, everyone is tall, so you never really understand why Rob always jokes about his stature until he’s next to guys like J2. You shoot a quick “good luck” text to the band, excluding Rob, and then it’s only a few minutes later that they are being led through to the front of the room. Your eyes follow each of the men – Kyle’s charming looks, Cooper’s lanky frame, Billy’s combed=back hair, Jason’s curls – before settling on Rob. Your stomach flips at the sight of him: a dark button-up shirt, skinny jeans, and a brown hat. It’s something he would wear to lunch with friends. Casual, and 100% Rob. A smile tugs at the corner of your mouth. They waste no time launching into their first song, “Slightest Thing,” and you tear your gaze away from Rob to watch Jason. As if he can feel your eyes on him, he looks around the room before he catches sight of you in the back. With a quick smile, he returns his attention to the song. You look back to Rob. As much as you’ve always enjoyed watching Jason sing, Rob is on a whole other level. Watching him is damn near hypnotizing. You quickly get lost in the lines of his forearms as he strums his guitar, the way he jumps with excitement, the honest and heartfelt “thank you” after every song. You’ve never felt overwhelmed by him before, but tonight is different. Electricity courses through you, skittering to the rhythm of the music and spiking with each perfect blend of Jason and Rob’s harmonies. Goosebumps dot your skin. The energy fades only when they pause between songs to tell stories. You’ve lost track of how many songs they’ve played, but you somehow know as soon as Jason starts talking, the next one will be their last of the night. “This next song has a particular significance for Rob and I,” Jason says. He catches your eye for a brief moment before turning back to Rob, continuing with a mischievous grin. “And, uh, Rob’s gonna tell you what that is.” Rob throws his head back, laughing with the crowd. “Well, it- it means a lot to us because it really was the- it was the birth of the Station Breaks some five, six years ago in Rome.” He looks to Jason for confirmation and the taller man nods. “We played a gig and, uh, he was like, ‘Hey, hey, Robbie, you wanna come play with me?’ And I said, um, ‘I’d love that.’ So he was like, ‘How do you feel about Hallelujah?’” The crowd screams its approval. You shift in your seat, feeling the change in the atmosphere. Everyone loves the song, but you know it’s going to be a tear-jerker for most of the people in the room, yourself included. Billy plucks the opening notes, and Jason takes the first verse. Before long the electricity returns as Rob’s voice washes over you in the second verse. Already there is a familiar tightness in your throat as your eyes prickle. It doesn’t matter how many times you listen to this song on the album or watch the boys play it in hotel rooms, it always gets to you. Rob puts so much emotion into it every time. It never ceases to amaze you how open he is with everything he does. How selfless he is. How compassionate. How unapologetic of being himself. It hits you, as Rob croons out his ending “hallelujah,” that you’re in love with him. There are no bells, no fireworks, no singing cherubs. Instead, the realization crashes into you like a two-ton weight, knocking the breath out of you. If you weren’t already sitting, your knees would have given out. You’re in love with Rob Benedict. How could you have been so blind to not have seen it before? It only takes another moment for the doubts to come flooding in: You’re too young for him. He doesn’t see you that way. You’ve been reading too much into him for way too long. With an effort you clamp down on those thoughts. Without knowing why, you decide, for the first time, to trust Jason on this. Maybe he’s right. Maybe Rob does have feelings for you. There’s only one way to find out.
As soon as the band is off-stage and back in their dressing room, you type a frantic text to Jason, asking if he could let you in with them. He answers with a simple “yes,” and a minute later you see his familiar curls and broad shoulders peeking out from the door in the back right corner of the room. Weaving through the crowd, you almost make it to Jason when one of the employees stops you.
“I’m with him,” you say, gesturing to Jason. The woman looks at you with one eyebrow raised before turning to look at him. “She’s with me,” he echoes. The woman lets you pass, and as soon as the door is closed behind you, Jason picks you up in a rib-crushing hug. “Jace,” you groan. “Can’t breathe.” He chuckles and sets you down. “Come on. Let’s go surprise Robbie.” You walk with him through the short hallway to another door, which he opens just enough to peer outside. You can hear people talking, Hayden’s voice among them, so it must be the merch room. He did promise hugs to anyone who bought a CD. Jason motions for you to follow before dashing to a nearby third door. The two of you make inside without being noticed. Jason shuts the door as you take stock of your surroundings. The room is just big enough for the boys and some spare guitars. Billy lounges with a leg over the arm of a crimson plush armchair next to the door. Cooper and Kiel recline on a sofa of the same hue against the wall. Rob has his back to you, occupied with something at the table under the window. Billy winks at you  before saying, “Jason’s back.” “Oh good, we were just-“ Rob’s voice cuts off as he turns around. You half expect the two glasses of amber liquid in his hands to plummet to the floor, but instead he just stares at you with wide eyes. You give him a little wave. Warmth begins to bloom in your cheeks. “Y/N?” “Hey, Rob,” you say. Your voice sounds breathless, even to your own ears. He rushes across the small space to wrap you in a hug, and you squeeze him just as tight. When he steps back, a wide smile is affixed to his face, the light in his blue eyes dancing. His hand slides down your arm to hold your own. “What are you- when did you- how-” He shakes his head, laughing. “It’s so great to see you! I didn’t know you’d be coming.” “That was the point.” You smile. The warmth in your face has become a burn. “The show was awesome. You guys keep getting better.” You look around the room to include Billy, Cooper, Kiel, and Jason in your statement. They each accept it with a quiet “thank you.” You turn back to Rob. There is a beat of silence where you swear it’s just the two of you in the room. You can’t see anything but the sparkling blue of his eyes, can’t feel anything but his hand in yours, and your heart threatens to beat right out of your ribcage. Three words hang on the tip of your tongue, ready to be blurted out, but Jason clears his throat. The moment passes. “Guys, why don’t we go meet some of our fans out there?” Jason suggests. Billy is the first to jump up. “Sure. Come on, Kyle, Coop.” The men file out, stepping around you and Rob. You break eye contact with Rob to look back over your shoulder at Jason. “Thank you, Jace,” you say with a smile.” He ruffles his hair like he did back when you were still in middle school. “Anytime, Y/N/N.” “I’ll be out in a minute,” Rob says. Your heart drops; maybe that little moment was just in your head. Maybe you won’t get the chance to find out what he really feels about you. But Jason shakes his head. “Take your time, Rob. I mean it.” The door closes with a click before Rob can reply. You turn back to face him, your eyes downcast. You study the way your hand and Rob’s fit together. “Hey.” His voice is quiet. When you don’t respond, he repeats it again, a little louder. “Hey. Look at me. The silence is making me nervous.” You oblige. With a half smile, you say, “Sorry. Just thinking, is all.” “Thinking what?” “That it’s good to see you, Robbie.” He rubs the back of his neck with his free hand. “I still- I can’t believe you flew all the way here just to see us.” You shrug. “I wanted to see the five of you play. I… I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever.” “We just saw each other last month.” The words don’t sound harsh coming from Rob’s lips, but you suddenly feel childish for missing him. You step back, pulling your hand away to cross your arms over your chest. “I know that, but…” Turning away from him, you try to sort through the whirlwind of emotions rushing through you. The last few minutes have been a rollercoaster, from happiness at seeing him again to that inexplicable urge to confess in front of the others to this sudden onset of doubt. You’re not quite sure what you should be feeling or what you should be saying. “But?” Rob prompts. “But,” you repeat, letting out a pent-up breath, “I missed you.” “I missed you, too, Y/N.” His confusion is evident in his voice, but you don’t have the words to make him understand. You try anyway. “I’m not… I don’t know a good way to say this.” You weigh each word before speaking it. “Do you remember when we first met, what you were wearing?” He’s quiet for a moment. “No. But I remember what you were wearing.” “You had on jeans and that black Smoke Pit t-shirt. I was wearing a Manns Beard tank top, wasn’t I?” “Yeah, yeah you were. Your hair was in a bun that day.” You turn to face him again. “What’s my favorite color?” “f/c.” “Why?” “Because it reminds you of the first bike you had growing up.” You nod. “That’s why I miss you, every time we’re apart.” Rob tilts his head to the side. You can almost see the wheels turning in that beautiful mind of his, and you let him have a moment to work through his confusion. “I’m sorry, I don’t- what does your childhood bike have to do with you missing me?” You chew on the inside of your cheek before answering. “It has everything to do with it. I’ve never felt at a loss for words, but you seem to just get me. You make- I don’t know. You’re just you! And I can’t think when you’re around me.” “Wait, what- what are you saying?” Your heart jumps to your throat and proceeds to jackhammer there. You swallow around it. “I’m saying that I love you, Rob. I love you, and I’m praying to God that you feel the same way, because if you don’t-” He pulls you to him, cutting you off with a kiss. His lips are soft against yours, and his beard rubs against your face as you kiss him back, wrapping your arms around his neck. One of his hands cups your face. The other slots into the small of your back to press you closer to him. He pushes you back until your legs hit the edge of the sofa. Pulling him down with you, you knock the hat off his head to thread your fingers into his brown curls. You hook your legs up around his hips to keep him close to you. All you can feel is Rob: lips, hands, body, warmth. Heat scorches through you. Kissing him is better than anything your imagination could come up with, and desire is already clouding your mind. Only when his tongue swipes your bottom lip do you pull back to look at him. Your chests rise and fall at the same rapid pace. He smiles down at you, thumb tracing your cheekbone. “I never thought Jason was telling the truth about you. Guess I was wrong, huh?” “Me neither,” you admit. “Maybe we should listen to him more often.” He doesn’t answer, opting instead to kiss you again, mouth moving against yours with such fervor that your mind goes blank. When he breaks the kiss, it takes you a moment to regain your wits. “You should go out there. They’re probably all wondering why you’re not with the others.” “Come with me,” he says, a soft smile bringing out the laughter lines around his eyes. You smile without realizing it, but you shake your head. “What will they think?” “Who, the fans?” Without giving you time to respond, he continues, “I don’t think- it shouldn’t matter what they think. Is this-” he presses a chaste kiss to your lips “- what you want?” You can only nod. “Do you want them to know about it?” “No. Do you?” “I just got you. I’m not ready to share you yet.” Your heart melts at that. “Then let’s go.” He pulls you to your feet. Grabbing his hat from the floor, you resettle it on his head and straighten it before he takes your hand again, fingers lacing with yours, to lead you forward. “Oh, Y/N?” he says before opening the door. You give him a questioning look. “I love you, too.”
