my nerd emoji gamer answer is that black knights aren't hollow and are, to my knowledge, spirits. they do also attack you on sight. it has been a very long time that they've been very dead and they are still attacking shit on sight. so to a random black knight chosen is probably a little mosquito to be swatted like any other mosquito

my real answer is yeah i think chosen lives rent free in the head of some black knight cuz i want it to be that way (^: POV you've killed this blasted thing 37 times and you're about to kill it a 38th but you're already thinking about it running down the stairs again in 10 minutes because this is the first enrichment you've had in 100,000 years
