i don’t think the “im going to see my gynecologist” line isn’t only just for us to know that barbie is fully human. the scene of her in the real world for a second (at least to me) seemed to imply barbie was getting some sort of dream job and found her purpose. but no. she’s just going to see a gynecologist. but the way she is so EXCITED… the way she’s taking the joy in this mundane thing that lots of women go through… the barbie movie is about enjoying just being ALIVE

I want to say that going into 2024 we expected this to be a car development season for Ferrari. There was a lot of lost time on that front. We have been getting good results and looking competitive so people(myself included) get excited about championship potential(or at least P2)

But after this many rounds I think it is clear that this is very much the car development season we expected from the start. I wasn't really expecting this to be the year for either championship. I never say never, I think we will see a lot more high points this year from both drivers.

I just think that it's good to recenter expectations, because I think they may have run away from us a little. We've had some very promising moments and I think the team are building on those.

What we've seen unfolding is closer to the car development season I imagined rather than any championship season thus far. So I'm not disappointed. Obviously there is a lot of work to do and there have been some mistakes, some pretty sizable ones at times. I am still liking the progress the team has made, race strategy has seen a massive improvement, so have pitstops, tyre management, and communication. I would not be surprised if we see more changes to the team this year to further improve performance.

I say all this to remind people of what we knew going into this year. The team still has a lot of work to do. The SF-24 is a step forward on a lot of fronts. But I think there are still some key areas that need improvement for it to be a championship level car.

But I am a hopeless fool, and a part of me will be thinking the championship is possible until Abu Dhabi.

Again Formula 1 is full of surprises, we may look back on this post in a few months and laugh at how wrong I was. We are still not at the halfway mark. A lot can change in a few races. So sit back and enjoy the show!

when I started shipping it if I did: i think very early of this year when i read one of daisy's one shots lmao it wasn't even abt jarty but the tension made me go insane so i fully blame her for my jarty brainrot

my thoughts: they make so sense to me?? like very similar to each other but also diff kinda flavors and u can cut the tension w a knife and also they have the same ex so there is always telling each other abt the stuff they have done to reg and make out lol

What makes me happy about them: probably the fact that they get each other so well? like they don't feel alone when they have each other

What makes me sad about them: they can never be end game lol

things done in fanfic that annoys me: honestly i didn't read any jarty fics so far so my i don't have any opinion abt this

things I look for in fanfic: when they both are dom but after a dominance fight someone is abt to take it up to ass lol

Prewar bots were pretty straightforward, er well some were.

Grounders specifically held a more civilized society, usually much more tame. At base you had two specific kinds of frames, pleasure(race, medic, two-wheelers, ect) and war frames(gladiator, miner, construction, ect). Grounder society is pretty similar to ours however hierarchies are built somewhat off size rather than capability but social status and other attributes do certainly apply.

Then you have aerials, they’re basically seen the same as any grounder. Aerials are typically cold forged bots but on rare occasions there are warm forged aerials. They slip into society like any other mech.

Then there’s praxins( of which fall under the hybrid category)! Again not to be confused with Praxians. They were originally believed to be hybrids between seekers and mid-frame grounders because they are mechs with door wings and while yes many seeker-grounder hybrids do come out as praxins, not all apply to praxins. They stand somewhat low on the social ladder. These bots are all warm-forged.

Then there’s titan frames, rare and mostly unheard of, before the war they were simply haulers. They helped transport goods and equipment between the city-states.

Then there’s hybrids, bots like Skyfire, Tomahawk. Helicopters and shuttles fall specifically under the hybrid category, typically a combination of seeker and war frames of any kind. Occasionally you also get pleasure jets from seekers mixing with pleasure frames. Hybrids are typically looked down upon, specially anything with seeker CNA due to seeker reputation.

Now if you’re asking about prewar society it follows the normal line of happenings, corruption in power, slavery, trafficking, forced labor, infringement of basic rights and freedoms, ect. Grounders basically had a chokehold on how things were viewed and perceived, anything considered strange or unordinary was wrong. Anything that didn’t belong needed to be snuffed. Anyone who rose against the senate needed to be silenced.

And before anyone asks, water based alts fall under grounder categorization.
